To help him through his manic episode, stay as calm as you can, let him know that, although you don’t share the belief that it’s real, you understand that it is real to him. Try and keep focused on supporting him with how he’s feeling in that moment, rather than confirming or challenging his reality.

If he does snap at you, he’ll feel so guilty. He will think that he’s just like his dad.

He’ll probably disappear for a few days, but when he comes back he’s begging for you to not leave him. Like he’s full on sobbing.

Hold him.

He’s clingy. Like super clingy. Clingy to the point where it just becomes obnoxious. And gets a bit irritating but he means well :(

He loves you like a dog, and he’ll do anything for you. He trusts you with his whole being and hopes you feel the same.

sanji is the most closeted character ever a lot of people hc him as bi which is great and awesome ofc but to me personally he reads so much like a gay man so deeply in the closet that he plays up his "straightness" and masculinity to the extreme. and im not just saying that bc of projection like it is there in the text... like the fact that he fawns over women all the time but literally as soon as a woman shows genuine interest back he is stone-faced does not care does not react. it really reads like a huge performance to demonstrate his masculinity and not actual interest in them and he doesn't know what to do when they like him bc he's not actually interested in them so he plays dumb. ESPECIALLY after growing up in not one but two households with really toxically masculine ideals, one of which he idolizes to this day. he also can seemingly just like. turn off his girl crazy behaviors like when the moment calls for it (WCI as one example) he doesn't do his whole ~ahh woman <3333 thing which further reiterates that fawning over them is not an involuntary lovestruck reaction but an active choice that he makes to play up how straight he is. and like he treats women nicely and fawns over them but never really... pursues them? there's also the fact that every single time a man compliments him or is impressed by him he immediately responds that he doesn't take compliments from men almost like he's so afraid of being perceived in a romantic light with men to the point where he's even nervous to take a simple compliment form them, something that does not bother straight men. being upset over getting a compliment from the same gender is only something that a closeted person afraid of any perceived queerness would do its not normal behavior. plus there's the fact that men get him so riled up that he cannot control his behavior (kinemon literally had him writhing around on the floor in anger lmao) and is constantly picking fights with men since in his mind that's the only way he can be closer to them or get their attention without being perceived as gay. there is soo much more, i could go on and on and on about his + sanji gender studies (okay i'll do a mini rant: he was so fucking happy wearing that dress on momoiro island and it's only when he got a newspaper about his crew that he decided he couldn't wear it anymore. almost like he found happiness as a woman in a place where he was guaranteed acceptance but then was reminded about how his crew would see him and how they would react and freaked out, again due to the toxic masculinity. also further evidence is that it took him literally ONE CONVERSATION to go from "no fucking way im not wearing a dress im not like you people" to "omfg i am a woman i have found myself." if he truly had nothing going on gender-wise it would have taken more convincing) but in conclusion sanji wants everyone to think he likes women so he plays up the simp behavior to the extreme but without any real attraction to them due to the toxic masculinity that's been entrenched in him since childhood and the need to be a "real man." i am sobbing crying throwing up over him give him some estrogen and let him date men. oh also this:

Tate -Tate has many scars of his own, so the last thing he’d ever do is make you insecure about any you have -He loves them and is definitely the most up for deep conversations surrounding idealistic beauty standards and the relation between your scars - “Everything is just about looking like you, it’s a part of who you are” - “It’s beautiful because it’s so natural, woman are constantly shamed for who they are but this is something that improved your quality of life, your surgery helped you in one way or another, and the way that you feel bad about that and feel the need to hide it, it sucks” -Once the two of you get more comfortable, he loves running his fingers down the scars

Kit -Kit would definitely understand that your surgery scars may or may not be a sensitive subject -He’d be the most understanding

An obnoxiously red and orange light filters into the motel room, even with the old and tattered curtains closed, the motels’ sign conquers its way through the fabric. Sighing you flop yourself on the faded, probably twenty-year-old bed. Nose scrunching as some dust raises into the air, consequently letting out a sneeze.

“Bless you.”

“Did you just bless yourself?”

You winced at the reminder someone else was in the room, exhausted after the two-day travel to a motel room in the middle of whoop. “Yeah…”

“You really are something, aren’t you?” At the calm amusement evident in his tone, your heart rate began to slow down. He didn’t think you were crazy.

You let out a breathy laugh. Wow, I wonder how those stains got on the ceiling? Lava monster perhaps? Are those even a thing? Probably.

“Yeah… well, someone has to Jackson.” You glance towards him, he’s sitting at the small, poor excuse of a dining table. Heart rate picking up again as he gives you a small smile, already having his eyes on you this entire time.

“If I don’t, who will?” you continue.

“Touché. In that case, I’ll do the blessing from now on; you deserve a break.” Shooting you a wink. Instantly feeling flustered at his action, you fight the urge to cover your face with your hands.

Oh, Percy, if only you knew you’ve already been blessing me for the past six years.

“Even say…. If we’re in a battle?” you muse.

He gets up from the table and walks towards you. Once he reaches your side of the queen bed, he kneels, grabbing the hand closest to him, while putting his other on top of his heart. “Oh, y/n l/n, even with my dying breath.”

With that, you burst into a fit of laughter. This boy and his sarcasm.

You play along. “Hmmm what a great tale that will be. The one and only, Perseus Jackson, spending his final breath on sweet old y/n l/n. How dare you burden me with such a legacy to live up to! They’ll think I’m your lover, you know. Demigods all around the world will come searching for me, just to gawk at the beauty that stole your heart.”

At this point, Percy has fallen from his kneeling position, completely lying on the ground, overcome with laughter.

“This isn’t funny, Percy! How am I supposed to live with the guilt of knowing I don’t live up to their expectations?! I’m hardly a warrior either, oh the disappointment.”

Gasping for breath, he manages to find his words, “Don’t stress it y/n, you’re plenty beautiful. I just know they’ll all be stunned by your beauty. Don’t sell yourself short… trust me, once they see you, they’ll be envious that my lover was so enraptured by me that you’ll never be able to love again.”

Now it was your turn to laugh. Would that be so bad?

Gasping for breath, eventually, both of your laughs die down, leaving you both breathing heavily. “C’mon Percy, let’s get some sleep. Its going to be a long week of scouting for demigods if we’re tired.”

As Percy nods, silently getting up to go to the bathroom to change, but he can’t help but think to himself that he wouldn’t mind if he was stuck in the middle of nowhere with you. No matter how long.

It had been three days since you and Percy arrived in the town you continuously fail to remember the name of. It wasn’t the only thing you were failing at doing either, because it seemed that for some unknown reason, the school that was supposed to arrive here for their camping trip still hadn’t shown up.

“We should send an Iris message to camp. It doesn’t look like they’re showing up any time soon, and by the looks of things, we’re going to need to have them send someone for more supplies.”

Percy sighed, looking out the window. Was this the opportunity he was looking for? Maybe… he knew he’d be a stupid fool to pass it up. Swept up in his new thoughts, he never replied. “Percy?”

Without even looking at you, he nodded, turning to go to the bathroom, “Yeah sure, I’ll go into the bathroom and make the call.”

Humming in acknowledgement as he left the room, you couldn’t help but stare at the spot he was previously standing in from your position on the edge of the bed. He doesn’t look too good.

For such a great hero, you wondered if this quest was doing him any good. After the first day of scouting the campsite, it was obvious he was already antsy to get home. It seemed no matter how light you tried to keep the atmosphere; it was like something was weighing on his mind. Mostly when you were both in the motel room together, you supposed it was because he barely went on quests nowadays. Understandably so, after all, who could blame him for wanting a break and spend time with his family? This made you feel immensely guilty since you could never give him words of truly understanding what he’s gone through. You’d arrived at camp a few days before him, yet over the years you were never sent onto a major quest. It upset you greatly at first, but you grew to appreciate your time at camp.

Before your mind could delve further into its guilt and self-pity, Percy re-entered the room, sitting next to you with a huff. “It’s all good. They’re going to send Leo with some extra supplies, and he’ll help us for the rest of this quest.”

Accidentally getting swept up in how pretty his eyes were, you tensed up, realising he was staring at you expectantly. Quickly nodding and clearing your throat you looked down to your lap, “ahh, okay that sounds good. I guess we’ll have time to sightsee or something…”

Sightsee? Really y/n? There’s nothing in this stupid town!

An awkward silence filled the room. Due to your previous thoughts, you were unsure how to proceed. This was the first time you were alone with him and had nothing else better to do.

Percy on the other hand, found that the obvious swooning look in your eyes was his green light. “Uhhh actually y/n?”

Oh, please don’t ask me why I basically just drooled all over you for NO FUCKING REASON. Snapping your head back up to look at him, you desperately tried to ignore the pounding in your chest that managed to find its way into your ears, “yeah?”

“There’s something I want to ask you.”

Holy shit he knows, doesn’t he? He knows I’ve liked him this entire time, and he’s going to reject me even though I never even said anything!

“I uhm… look I know we’re kind of on a small quest and all but technically we ARE waiting for Leo and the school to arrive before we continue… and you know we kind of have like at least a day or two until then so I was just wondering…”

“Yeah, Percy? You can just say it, you know; I really don’t mind.” I do mind, but please get this over with before I cry. With your heart rate increasing at an alarming rate and face heating up so much, you wanted Zeus to blast you right then and there.

Percy felt like he was about to puke, he’d never felt this nervous before. Yeah, he had his moments growing up with Annabeth, after all, she was his first girlfriend, but this was different. He wanted this to be different. Sure, he never regretted their relationship, and yes, he knew he’d always remember everything they went through- what he went through but… he wanted a clean slate. He desperately just wanted nothing more than to know that there was at least one person in his life that wasn’t constantly fighting for their lives—someone who didn’t have to live with as much trauma as him.

“W- would you maybe... Gods, do you want to have dinner tomorrow night? Maybe at the diner further into the town?”

HOLY FUCK.

He was interested and honestly, you were over the moon. Breathing out the breath you were holding in, you fail to hide the smile on your face, “yeah, I’d like that.”

His face instantly broke out into a wide smile matching yours. “Wait really?”

Unable to hold back a small giggle, you nodded, “yeah, Percy.”

Staring at yourself in the mirror, you admire the blue dress you found in a charity shop this morning while Percy was sleeping. I can’t believe this is happening.

If you had old even more awkward 15-year-old y/n that you were about to go on a date with the boy you admired from your table during meals (when he was there), you would’ve laughed. Mainly because at that point, he didn’t even know you existed, only having your first conversation during the battle of Manhattan when you were helping Will.

Okay… lets do this.

Walking out of the bathroom, Percy is already sitting on the bed in his usual t-shirt, jeans and converse waiting for you.

“Woah… You look uh-” Never finishing his statement, worry bubbled in your chest.

“Oh, uhm… I- I can change if you’d like?

Jumping up from his place on the bed, his head shook quickly. “NO! N-no don’t do that.”

“Ah uhm… okay? Sorry, it’s just I saw it in a store earlier and uhm… it looked nice, and I just thought that maybe it’d be cool to maybe put in a bit more effort? I mean… not that you don’t look good or anything! I love what you wear, you always look nice! but I don’t know… I don’t get to look nice much and… I just wanted it to be kinda special since we don’t get to… well our lives don’t really grant us these opportunities very often. Or at least for me anyway…”

“Hey, no, it’s okay! I totally get it… you look beautiful.” After hearing your small confession and thought to prepare for your date, his heart felt like it was melting. How could someone be so thoughtful when all he was doing was taking you to a rundown diner who probably only served mediocre burgers?

A small wave of guilt washed through him. Feeling like he would never be able to truly sweep you off your feet or give you that sweet, tooth-rotting love and affection, every day, just like you deserved. After everything, he knew he could try his best but even then, he’d never be able to hide the anxiety or PTSD he had acquired over the years.

You looked up to him with a smirk. “Glad to hear it, lover.”

Cheeks heating up at your comment, he laughed trying to play it off as cool as possible. Taking a step closer to you and flattening his shirt as if it would wipe away its wrinkles, he held out his arm. “Shall we, lover?”

Matching his level of fake sophistication, you linked your arm with his, “with pleasure.”

And with that, you both walked out of the motel, with hopeful spirits. To any onlooker, you both looked like normal young adults.

“Where the fuck are you?!” Percy’s voice boomed from his end of the phone, supposedly made without any monster risks.

You winced, slowly and cautiously walking your way out of the forest. The once clean dress was now covered in dirt and had few tears. It went perfectly with your dishevelled, twig and leaf infested hair.

“Space doesn’t really exist, so I’m nowhere. Life is built on social constructs and, since there’s no way to know if we’re really alive or if it’s just an illusion, I can’t be anywhere.”

Okay, he was concerned, and you couldn’t blame him. After all, how did you expect him to react after getting separated from you as you were chased into the woods by an Empousai after dinner?

Romance at its finest.

“Yeah, sorry, I got caught up, but I’ll be there soon.”

Ending the call, you couldn’t help but feel guilty as you replayed the events that just occurred in your head. The date was amazing. It wasn’t perfect by any means, but it was still sweet. Which led you both to go on one of those cliché night walks. That was nice too, until two Empousai came out of the forest and decided to attack you both.

Percy being…. Well Percy, he swiftly got out riptide and didn’t hesitate to defend the two of you. You, on the other hand, were completely caught off guard only just noticing as one of them turned their focus on you while Percy was distracted.

And what did you do like the perfectly trained demigod you were?

You ran like a headless chicken into the forest.

After a few minutes of running, they tackled you into the ground. Trying and failing failed to shove them off, you suddenly remembered the dagger you strapped to your thigh under your dress and stabbed them.

Clearly not your proudest moments.

Finally making it back to the room, you unlocked the door and let out a huff of relief. “Well… that date didn’t go as expected.”

Percy, took in your current state staring at you with wide eyes… but he didn’t say anything. Is he angry at me? Fuck now he’s going to call off whatever this is, all because I’m an incompetent idiot! I knew I should have tried harder in the sparring activities at camp.

Feeling highly intimidated under his intense stare, you began to play with the hem of your dress, voice going quiet. “Look I uh- I know it probably wasn’t the date you were hoping for but I uhm-“

Before you could even finish your poor excuses, your words are soon lost entirely. Percy stalked towards you with a determined look on his face. Reaching you, he firmly placed his hands on either side of your face, smashing his lips onto yours.

You let out a small, muffled squeak of surprise as your eyebrows shot up into Olympus. Yet unlike your fighting skills, this was something you managed to adapt to at a faster pace.

Eyes fluttering closed, you fisted his shirt, pulling him closer.

Please don’t let this be a dream.

Because Gods forbid if this your one chance, you weren’t letting this moment end that easily.

Moving your lips against his, the urgency he came onto you with slowly began to dissipate, feeling his soft, but slightly chapped lips move against yours. Deepening the kiss, you let go of his shirt, gliding your hands up his tense torso and along his strong arms, eventually placing your hands on his wrists that were on either side of your face. Applying a small amount of pressure to the inside of his wrists with your thumbs, his mind began to drift into a calming haze as you softly stroked them. It was almost as if you were able to brush away the worry that bubbled in him when he got back to the room, only to find you weren’t there. Yet here you were… safe.

It was intoxicating and calming having him so close to you, his entire being overcoming your senses to a point where you fought the urge to let out a small whimper when he pulled away.

Resting his forehead against yours, chest rising and falling heavily flushed against you; he continued to hold you in his warm embrace. “I wouldn’t have had it any other way.” He whispers, breath fanning against your face.

Because as much as Percy was afraid he’d let you down, he knew no matter what you were worth every single risk.

“…but I’m going to have to teach you a few things when we get back to camp. We can’t have my lover running away in battle all the time, how will I know if you sneeze?”

Letting out a snort, you playfully hit his chest. “Anything for you, lover.”

A soft smile graces his face as he looks at you adoringly as the word takes on a whole new meaning… because you were right. He’d do anything.

I definitely self prompted this one. I’m using the words “no regrets” as a small guide.

Tommyinnit hummed lightly to himself as he looked through Philza’s chests. He would most likely return the items at some point, all he needed was a few emeralds an-

“Tommy?”

Fuck fuck shit fuck.

“Philza! My man! My friend, what are you doing today!” Tommy slammed the chest, stood up, and shifted slightly closer to the door.

“Well not much, I was just coming home actually. I didn’t expect to see anyone here. Especially not someone looking through my things.”

‘Maybe if I sprinted I could get out the door before he could react.’ Tommy wondered to himself as he continued to slowly inch toward the exit.

“Speaking of which, I would quite like thoes emeralds back if you don’t mind. And while you’re at it, it would do wonders to ask next time buddy.” Phil continued speaking, not noticing how Tommy had moved further away from him.

“What? Emeralds! You have emeralds? Big P why didn’t you tell me! You know, I’ve never even seen an emerald before.”

Tommy rambled on without any real meaning to his words as he took more noticeable steps towards the door.

“Tom. Don’t you walk out that door with my things on you.” Phil couldn’t help the smile that came over him, in reality he had grabbed maybe 10 emeralds at most. At this point he just wanted to mess with the younger boy.

Tommy let out his signature laugh and shouted “NO REGRETS. CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!” before turning around and booking it outside. Well. He would have, had he not run right into a certain hybrid.

“AHHAH- AHHHH! Oh. Hello. Um.. Technoblade I know this seems strange and it has been a while but I am in a situation right now and would like to get going if that isn’t too much trou-“

“Hold him right there for me please” Came a reply from somewhere behind him.

Uh oh.

Technoblade wrapped his arms around the smaller boy, effectively trapping him in place.

“Woah woah fellas, surely we can work something out. I am really a busy man contrary to popular belief.”

“Tommy Tommy Tommy... I told you not to walk out that door. Look what you’ve gotten yourself into now.” Tommy’s face flushed and he refused to meet anyone’s gaze. “Turn him towards me will you bud?” Without another word, Tommy was flipped around to face Phiza.

He had a smile to his face, sure didn’t seem upset. That calmed Tommy down, they wouldn’t hurt him surely.

“I gave you chance after chance Tom. You ignored me blatantly and for what? A few measly emeralds? I would like them back along with an apology please.”

Apology!? Now this was just getting rediculous. You can not expect the big man himself to give you a heartfelt apology for something so silly. “Hmm. Let me think about it-no.” Tommy replied with a cocky smirk.

“I wouldn’t test my luck if I were you, have you ever seen Philza like this?” A low, gruff voice spoke directly into Tommy’s ear, making him squirm lightly.

“I won’t waste any more of your precious time then. Tell me when you’re ready to give them back.” Philza stepped forward and began to randomly poke at the boy’s middle, keeping him guessing whilst not being too harsh so he could watch for any signs of discomfort. He was only met with childlike giggles. Tommy’s usual laugh can be loud and overwhelming, this laugh however was gentle but filled with life. You could practically feel the joy radiating from him.

“Ph-phihihil wait waIT-“ Tommy cut himself off with a squeal as Techno used his vantage point to squeeze where his hands rested on either of the boy’s sides.

“TECHNOHO! Guhuhuys it tihihickles!”

“Well I would sure hope so, this would be a rather weird reaction to have to pain.” Techno’s monotone voice combined with Phil’s loving smile increase the ticklish feeling tenfold.

“DOHOHONT TEASE MEHEHE IM GOING TOHOHO START STAHAHBING SHIT” Tommy covered his face as he felt his blush spread to his ears. Despite his words, he couldn’t be more happy with the situation he found himself in, the boy had been through so much and was constantly under pressure. Honestly, all this laughter was freeing.

“Ahahawww, does the teasing get to you Tommy boy? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you like this, you’re practically melting, I think if we let you go you’d just fall to the ground.” Phil was right, Tommy’s knees had bucked almost as soon as it had begun; and with Phil’s hands now scratching his stomach, there was no hope in regaining balance.

Giggles turned to laughter as Tommy’s squirming began anew, his stomach had always been a weak spot. “PHIHIHIL, TECH Plehehease I-ahahAHAhaha” Tommy leaned his head back into Techno’s chest and let gentle laughter overtake him. The boys backed off slightly, Phil lightly traced shapes on his stomach while techno stilled his hands completely and allowed Tommy to breathe.

“How are you feeling Tommy?” Philza asked with just the right amount of teasing and kindness to melt Tommy down to his very core.

“Ihihi- I’m ohokay, just thinking ahabout your mothers.” Ok so he had decided to provoke them a little more, sue him. Even though he knew Philza and Techno could be outstanding lers, he had never really seen them work together. So it is understandable for him to have been completely blind sighted by what happened next.

Without saying a word, his ticklers went in full force. Phil had one hand on his stomach and the other squeezing his hips; Techno had both of his hands squeezing Tommy’s sides rapidly while he burried his face into his neck to blow small raspberries and whisper teases.

Tommy went apeshit. He was already flustered and the anticipation that had built up over the last few minutes from the small tickles had made him much more sensitive. The teases, while thoroughly enjoyed, were completely unexpected and caused Tommy’s laughter to go sqeaky.

“AHH WAAIT WHAHAHAT CALM DOHOHOWN GUHUHYS, BOHOHYS LETS TALK ABOUT THIHIHIS!”

“Oh we’ve done plenty of talking Tommy.”

“Yes we have, I think we’ll stick to this for a while.”

God he didn’t know how much more he could handle. On one hand, his face was bright red and he was laughing so hard he thought he might just die there. But on the other, he hadn’t felt this stress free in weeks, maybe months even.

In the end, his need for air won over his will and the apologies came out. “IM SOHOHORRY! IM SOHOHRRY, I’LL GIHIHIVE THEM BAHACK AND I WOHOHON’T STEAL ANYMOHOHORE!”

Just like that it was over. Phil rubbed away the ghost tickles while techno stayed in the same position, his hug now peaceful without any tickly intentions. This was definitely needed, the boy would have fallen over had it not been for the supporting arms.

“See that was so easy! I’ll tell you what Tommy. You come inside and rest for a while, when you are ready to go you can take what you need.” Phil’s kindness never ceased to amaze Tommy, he opened his eyes and was met with a fond smile, he immediately closed his eyes again as the blush resurfaced.

“Thank you Philllll” Tommy groaned playfully as he tried to act displeased, his wide smile and relaxed state made his statement a bit redundant.

When he could stand on his own again, all three of the boys walked back to Phil’s cabin and stayed together for a while. Tommy was very calm and surprisingly touchy the entire time, not that either of them minded. So cuddles and story telling ensued until it was night time, and they all fell into a peaceful sleep.

hey alice(can i call you that?) i got to know about the plagiarism situation you faced from sei and im so sad to know that you were lied to and gslit. it was terrible of [beep] to do that to someone, and it's even more disappointing because she doesn't seem to be genuine. the new users on enha tumblr have been turning out to be super untrustworthy. and it's very upsetting to see that people think it's okay to steal from here cause the content is all put out for free and the fact that they "feel bad" only after being caught after constant accusations. personally i have also faced plagiarism and have even caught someone plagiarizing other people and honestly it feels really awful. i can immediately see how these people are not actually always genuinely apologetic rather it's a situation of "oh fk sht i've been caught it's time to hop on to a new blog and a new name" sometimes i feel insecure putting out my works wondering if there's anyone whose using my hard work as their own it's sickening to think they probably have no shame in claiming it as their own and gaining innocent people's trust. idk how many people i trust/follow/look up to or know have scummed to ways of plagiarism but i really hope if they have they stop doing it. and i hope you don't have to come across something like this again. it's less likely though considering the increasing number of incidents coming to light recently. i feel like those who have got caught and deactivated probably could have already made another new blog with a new identity and we don't even know if they on here looking through our blogs, interacting and trying to get moots again. this might be not entirely true but i feel like one among the many reasons could be the average age of our fandom. there are more of minors on here than adults, and that too minors on the younger side as well. it's difficult for some teens to figure out what's not right, one of which is posting someone else's work after modifying it. which is essentially plagiarism but certain minds think of it as not just because they modified it. this is not an excuse or justification but rather im just stating why it could be so casual here. some network admins as well even though putting plagiarism will not be accepted in the rules still keep the guilty ones in the network. i just hope the people who plagiarize and don't feel guilty, someday learn from it. (THAT WAS SUCH A LONG RANT IM SO SRRY I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF😵) hope you're doing okay <33

It doesnt matter if you tell him or not- he will listen to your feelings and give you the best adivce he can if you do tell jim, but he wont be offended if you keep it to yourself

Every morning he always anticipates you with excitement and nerves- cause he honestly loves seeing you, it brightens his morning, but Tama being Tama his anxiety kicks in

And he just keeps thinking he’ll something embarrassing like stutter, your go mute, or start shaking, or god forbid he accidentally confuses by accident-

He will watch you with ihs eyes the whole time, instantly very nervous and worried for you-

Hes hoping that maybe its nothing, that maybe your just tired or feeling a little under the weather

But the moment he sees you put your head down he knows something is up- you look like your going to break down at any moment

Its going to take alot out of Tamaki, but he doesnt want you to be by yourself

Working at the Freak Show was a simple job if you weren’t an entertainer. Your task was to clean the big tent and prep the stage, but most of the performers would help you with the chores, making them extremely easy. Although, the freak show was fun and a great place to be at, you hated how the audience would treat the people on stage. Calling them freaks, throwing food or trash at them, and sometimes beating them up after the show. It took you a long time to realize what was happening, Elsa always had you occupied with tasks when the show was taking place. But becoming close to Jimmy, opened your eyes to the hate he was constantly exposed to. Jimmy was always very upset, and you were the person to calm him down, with time, your feelings for him grew.

You slept in the big tent in a sleeping bag, but most of your time was spent in Jimmy’s trailer and you would see his face beaten and bruised. But tonight you were up late cleaning the big tent with no help since it was a tiring night for everyone.

The radio started to play sweet music, soft and gentle. You started dancing with your broom, and closed your eyes, picturing a ballroom, with beautiful lamps and paintings on the walls. Your feet moving around the space, as you drift deeper into your thought.

“Kit?” Jimmy’s voice startled you, you open your eyes and turn to him. Happy as ever to see his face.

“Jimmy. I heard you did very well tonight.” He smiled widely, walked closer to you.

“Not as good as your dancing, Suga. Here, I bet I can be a better dance partner than that broom.” Jimmy grabbed your wrists and placed them on his shoulders, pulling you closer to his chest, which made your heart pound.

The music was the only sound, and Jimmy swayed his hips, matching yours, to the music. His cheek warm on yours, filling your stomach with butterflies. Jimmy parts his lips against your ear, and speaks in the softest voice. “I really like you Kit. I like you a lot.”

You couldn’t help but smile at the comment, “I like you too Jimmy.” He pulls back and looks into your eyes steadily. Jimmy leans forward and takes his time to connect his lips with yours. And as it does, the whole world fades.

Paternal Instincts (Part 2)

Warnings: Heavy embarrassment

Patton has parental instincts and treats Virgil like a baby. Virgil doesn’t know what’s going on.

While Patton was cooking he constantly made sure that Virgil had everything that he needed. He had already set him up with a blanket around his shoulders and chocolate milk even though he knew that Virgil usually drank coffee. Logan hadn't said anything about it but did give Virgil a knowing look that he didn't return.

Virgil looked down into the milk and sucked on the straw in thought. He must have done something that made Patton concerned. That was why Logan knew what was happening and Roman was sent to his room. He guessed he would just have to bring it up to Patton when they were in private.

A plate of scrambled eggs and bacon were put in front of him with a smile, but Logan was allowed to get his own food. Virgil looked up to thank him but was met with the sight of a spoonful of eggs. "Patton..?" He questioned.

Patton kept on smiling. "I just wanna make sure that you're eating enough! Now say ahh." He said, prompting the spoon closer.

Virgil shook his head,"No, no..I'm eating enough, Patton. I don't need you to do this.." he averted his eyes.

"Awe, there's no reason to be embarrassed, honey! It's just you and me."

Virgil shook his head again. "No..Logans here and- and I just want to do it myself, okay?" He said softly.

"Well, if that's what you want." Patton said and set the spoon down for him. "Now eat up." He said, lifting a piece of his own bacon and pretending to eat it like Virgil didn't know what he meant by telling him to eat.

Was this mocking? That wasn't in Patton's nature. He started to eat anyway and refrained from making eye contact. Patton ate his own food, too, but would wipe Virgil's mouth if he got any spots.

Logan still didn't say anything. He had honestly thought that Virgil knew what was happening, so he didn't explain it to him. When Logan was done he got up and left to his room with a thank you to Patton.

Seeing the opportunity, Virgil thought of how to phrase his asking,"I- Patton..are you okay?" He asked.

Patton smiled,"I'm great. You don't need to worry about me. Even though it is sweet of you." He poked his nose again.

Virgil huffed a bit in frustration,"Well, it's just that you're acting a lot different than you usually do..Im feeling just fine, too, you know?"

"Oh, that?" Patton giggled,"I just love you so much, Virgey. And I want to make sure that you have everything you need." Patton assumed that Virgil was done eating and scooted over to pat his back. Virgil felt a little guilty. "Oh..well..I guess..you can do that..'' he said softly. Who would he be to deny Patton's affection?

"That's great to hear." Patton said and kept feeding himself with his free hand. "I have to take Romans food to him in a minute, but then I can go and run your bath for you."

Virgil was going to say that Patton didn't have to do that, but he felt a burp bubble up in his chest and he muffled it the best he could with his hand. He didn't get a chance to excuse himself before Patton was clapping happily,"That was a good one!" And he stopped patting his back.

Virgils face redenned. Patton had been trying to burp him that entire time! And it worked! Virgil hid his face in his sleeve and Patton giggled. "You can go and watch TV now until your bath is ready. I'll take care of everything."

Virgil could only nod, being overwhelmed with embarrassment. His cool, mysterious aesthetic was being thrown out the window and he didn't know what to do about it...but Patton does seem happy doing this. And it was out of love. He thought about it while sitting on the couch even though he knew he should probably go to Logan to get it explained to him. He didn't want to risk being embarrassed in front of the others, though. He could practically feel the other dark sides smirk at all of this. They could appear at any moment and just laugh at him.

But he couldn't help but feel ungrateful at the same time. He groaned and laid back on the couch, curling up in thought.

Patton brought the plate of food up to Romans room and knocked in his own rhythm. Each of them had their own unique way of knocking so that everyone knew who was asking to come in. "Roman? You can come out now. I've got breakfast for you."

Roman opened the door but was still pouty, crossing his arms but taking the plate. "Well, I could have left any time I wanted. I just didn't feel like it." He said stubbornly. Patton smiled softly at him,"Of course. I might have overreacted. It's just that I love Virgil so much and I don't like people talking bad about him...you know that."

"Yes yes, I understand. But I wasn't saying anything behind his back, I assure you. Virgil was watching you and Logan in the kitchen while you were making breakfast. I was just being...teasing. I thought he might come out." He started to eat while standing. Patton tilted his head.

"Aw. You think he was too nervous to go into the kitchen? He was kinda tense.. I think I might've made him worry about me. I dont know what I did, but I think we mightve solved it..I dunno. My mind gets so clouded when I'm around him today."

Roman raised an eyebrow, thinking he might've understood what was happening. "Pat...is this about when we went to get ice cream with our friends and we bought that kid another ice cream after they dropped theirs? That shy teenager?"

Patton smiled at the memory,"Oh they were so precious. And I could tell we made them happy. I've been thinking about that a lot, yeah, but I don't see what it has to do with this."

Roman contemplated telling Patton that it was just his instinct kicking in with Virgil, but wasn't too sure about it. He knew that he should tell Virgil, though. "Oh, nothing. Just go on with you, I have to do something." Patton giggled,"Okay." And he went to the bathroom to run the bath for Virgil.

Roman went downstairs to see Virgil in the position that he had known himself, being confidence and all. The curl of humiliation. It was kind of funny to think of what must have happened before in order for Virgil to get to this state.

"Hey, Virgil."

Virgil startled and sat up,”Oh, Princey, yeah, what?” he tried to rub the blush off of his face.

“I’m not going to make fun of you. First of all, I didn’t even see anything to make fun of, unfortunately, and secondly you need to bear through this.”

“Through what?”

“Through Patton.”

Virgil obviously looked confused and sputtered a bit but Roman interrupted. “It’s his instinct, V. Like whenever you grow bigger during big worry time, or when Logan pulses during a headache. This is what Patton does.” he tried to explain.

“He...what exactly is it that he’s doing?”

“Parenting. And I think I figured out that it’s not so random who he chooses after all. Remember the ice cream teen?”

Virgil nodded,”Yeah, I remember. So he chose to do this to me for his instinct?”

“Oh don’t get too excited. My theory is that it depends on the type of kid that he sees. He doesn’t consciously do any of this. But you do have to deal with it, now.”

Virgil stiffened,”Wh-Why do I have to deal with it?! Can’t his instincts go pick someone else?! I’m not...I don’t..”

“You don’t what?”

Virgil took a deep breath. It sounded stupid and childish,”...feel...cool.”

Roman just laughed,”Oh, Virgil. Of course you don’t feel dignified. Usually this passes in a day or two. Just deal with it until it’s over and try not to upset him. Then you can go back to being as edgy as your heart desires! But right now our heart desires you. And you have to take it for the team. After all, you wouldn’t want to be the reason for Patton's tears, would you?”

Virgil sighed,”No..” He thought about it and hummed,”Fine. Just as long as you and Logan stay in your rooms while all this is happening. And try to keep you brother and his friend away for me.”

Roman hummed,”Okay. And I’ll find a way that you can pay me back later.”

Virgil rolled his eyes.

since its quite long ima pop it under a read more c: sorry for short answers, im not the best about talking my process i just do it xD I’m tagging @cousinslavellan, @fellis-world, @astralarias & @duskroots (if u haven’t done it already!)

Do you have an idea before or after creating a character? Before, I usually have an idea, design it in make-over kit & then create them :D

Which race is your favorite to imagine a story about? SYLVARI all the way, I just,,, adore their story

Which race is your favorite to customize? Ironically either human or charr, I really love being able to mess around with their settings!

Does the profession play a role in the visual? Sometimes. It’s less profession more armour class that comes into play - I like to know what skins i can dress them in with what armour class to match their aesthetic

Do you often use the same faces? Nooo, I can’t use the same face for two characters it upsets my brain

Do you often use the same skin colors? Sometimes, I like to have variation but similar skin tones & I have a clear favour for pastel sylvari colours

Do you often use the same tattoos? I,, don’t have enough norn ideas to use the same tattoos xD

Do you use the sliders for the face or not? YEP every time! Love being able to mess with the sliders

Do you bother to pick colors for the starter armor or not? Nope, I always end up throwing an outfit on or instantly changing their armour, i have too many transmutes

Do you pick carefully the choices for your character base story? Uhh I used to? But now that I’ve played all the base stories I don’t really see a need to so i just go with whatever the game gives me

If no, is it always the same choices (ie. easiest to complete)? Yeahh sometimes, other times its more just “I’m skipping through it”

Do you not bother at all and only use a makeover kit once in game? Ahh depends? Like I’ll try to match up as much as I can to my plan already and THEN use a makeover kit if need be (woo for permanent hair kit!)

Do you like/use exclusive faces/hairstyles more? Hairstyles yes because I have the permenant hair kit so I constantly change my characters hair just because I can lmao but sometimes I prefer the non-exclusive faces

Outfit or armor? Outfit till lvl 75 & then armor

Do you stick with one armor for each character or do you change a lot? Change it a lot. Ashal has been through god knows how many changes i swear

If yes, why? Is it for “RP” reasons or just aesthetic ones? Aesthetic xD I love my aesthetics so much & I plan completely different outfits for rp reasons

Do you have a timeline for your characters (ie. date of birth, armors throughout the story)? YEP! Amanatsu timeline for half of them, timeless timeline for the other - I have charts of dates & times and what happens when etc in a document :D

Is there a title you use more than another? “Keeper of the Sun” - I spent months trying to get that title for Ashal and I WILL use it

What is a big difference from when you started the game to now in regard of characters creation (ie. going faster, going slower, making bold choices, settling on a particular style, etc)? Woo memory loss means I don’t remember xD Sorry but sadly I have memory loss issues & do not remember when I started, all I remember is that Tomomi has changed the most from when I first started but that’s to be expected as he was my first character

heyo!! may i request a matchup, please? my nickname is ame, i am a straight female and my pronouns are she/her. i am a PROUD leo, my mbti type is enfj and i am a gryffindor. my personality is sort of all over the place. i tend to be really energetic and stupid but can flip a switch and become understanding/mature when the situation calls for it. i tend to be really loud and im probably that one person who looks like they're high on sugar. i tend to also get really clingy/overbearing. positive stuff about me would be that i'm optimistic, energetic and sorta baby-like whereas downsides about me would be that i'm sensitive, and can get insecure. according to my friends i am 'innocent'. i love mushrooms and tomatoes. I really like to inline skate, sleep, binge anime, and listen to music. things i dislike would include hypocritical people, spiders, and awkward silences. ( idk what a kin is). a few hobbies of mine are baking, singing, and making up random scenarios in my head(2/3) i'm 5'4 and i have really short dark brown hair (goes a tiny bit past my ears) and dark brown eyes. i'd listen to literally any song as long as i'm in the right mood. a name of one of my playlists is "emo modes with bokuto". in a partner, i usually just look for comfort and coziness. someone who can make me feel like im important and someone who will hug me/hold my hand any time lol. my love language is small actions like letters and physical affection. tysm!! have a great day/night!! :)).

first of all, you guys would be so cool on the outside but on the inside you’re both just two chaotic messes (but still put together😌) your energetic and loud aura balances with his calm and collected personality. however, he really appreciates the fact that your able to sense when to be mature because he probably wouldn’t be able to handle someone whose overwhelmingly crazy.

he likes that your clingy because it shows him that you care and need him, and he never thinks that your overbearing in any way. he actually thinks thats adorable more than anything. your both optimistic which is good for positive reassurance and feedback, as well. he’s so caring and will notice your sensitive so he’ll avoid doing anything to make you upset at all costs in fear of making you feel bad. that’s the last thing this angel wants to do.

he’s literally so perfect like he’ll do everything you like and want to do no matter what, even if he despises it (which he doesn’t he actually loves all your hobbies and passions :) ] and everything you said you look for in a partner describes suga perfectly. he will provide endless comfort and warmth and his love for you will always be displayed openly and shamelessly. and he will make you feel like your the only girl in the world (WANT YOU TO MAKE ME FEEL-anywayys) no but seriously he would make you feel so important and special so you never forget how much you mean to him.

your love languages aren’t a problem with suga, either. physical affection is a huge part of being in a relationship with him. of course, if you didn’t like affection he would completely respect your boundaries, but since you like it he’s just gonna shower you in it nonstop. hugs, kisses, hand holding, snuggling, you name it. and small acts is his THING like he’s constantly doing little cute things for you. whether that’s writing you a lovely note and leaving it for you on the counter or him taking care of your chores just because he wants you to not have to take care of it.

some scenarios with the two of you:

•you guys attempting to bake something together but you end up just throwing some food at each other which kinda starts a war and you guys just start laughing about it

•y’all just dancing around in your room and singing random songs at the top of your lungs

•you guys just staying in and cuddling each other on the bed while you binge watch this new anime that you got sucked into. but in reality he’s not really paying attention to the show because all of his focus is on how beautiful you are and how much he loves you🥺
