#angryborzois rambles #so theres a study abroad scholarship program that i applied for back in november #we just got back the results of my application #while i didnt get my first choice country which was botswana #i got my second (or third i dont remember) choice which was germany #and apparently i qualified for the scholarship to cover around 95% of the fees (it's different for every person) #no wayy #im excited but also extremely scared lol #im mostly worried that i wont be able to keep up with the lessons #ik this program is supposed to be friendly with people who have no prior experience with the language but german is pretty difficult.... #and i say this as someone who tried to teach themself german during middle school #im done for. #okok but being taught by an actual person and in the country itself must be different from self-study so i should be fine.....right????? #and at least i know some basics right??? #im stressing so hard #i'd cry if the other people who signed up for this program were all actually students already taking german as their foreign language class #meanwhile me taking spanish...💀 #i have roughly 3 months ill just study in preparation until then 😭😭😭 #gotta make sure i dont look stupid when i go

okay, so The Hyperfixation Is Hyperfixating, clearly, and honestly im just gonna continue going with it bc THEM— *screams* ANYWAYS @frownyalfred uhhhhhh hope you enjoy this as well! without further ado, another idea inspired by the incomparable ✨borderline✨ that just would NOT leave me alone until i got it all down into actual real words:

at some point further in the timeline of borderline'verse, when they've finally got the whole situation mostly under control, the batfam (whenever they accompany bruce, or multiple kids go together by themselves so they're in batclan mode, to do jl/other crossover shit) sort of ends up just doing the whole Bat-Danger-Aura thing, like, Constantly; somewhat unintentionally, but also with not much effort really made to rein it in, bc they do think the reactions are hilarious lol. and like, the thing is, they were ALREADY doing it pre-bond, pretty much right from whenever dick, jason, or both made their first appearance w bruce outside of gotham and first established the existence of mini-bats for the outside world — i mean, that sense of leashed power, as well as the eerie synchronicity and ability to communicate in the tiniest of gestures, was really just a natural consequence of the crime-fighting codependency and the training bruce put them through, originally. (as you may be able to tell, i have an Extremely Normal Amount of Feelings about the concept of cryptid batfam <3). but WITH the bond?? i mean, the kids are all connected to each other, yes, but their primary connections are all to BRUCE, and once they've had time to adjust, and set + actually semi-consistently enforce some basic boundaries, they absolutely take pride in using that to it's fullest advantage (that they're capable of while not intentionally compromising anybody's autonomy, anyways).

and like… OP's already touched on this in earlier chapters briefly a few times, but i NEED a thorough exploration of the idea of bruce seeing this change in them, seeing them subconsciously incorporate even just these little subtle mannerisms, and feeling so fucking guilty about it and spiraling bc he's terrified that all of his self-destructive qualities [that he's painfully aware of in himself] will transfer over to the children, who somehow never seem to realize that how proud and grateful they make him when they demonstrate their DIFFERENCES from him in those regards. and he's just so scared that he'll somehow ruin the few parts of them he thinks he's miraculously managed to avoid 'tainting' with his mentorship/fatherhood until now… …and meanwhile the kids are about to start crying because dad no what the fuck,,, but also facepalming a little bit bc jesus CHRIST, B, did you never even stop to consider the fact that you're just… really fuckin smart and skilled and know how to do a frankly ungodly amount of Cool Shit that we all share an interest in, and we were excited to have the chance to copy more of that shit too?! just, even beyond the great mental image of the Danger Walk, what really got me about that scene was just... his two oldest boys, who are already so much like him, not hesitating for a SECOND to gleefully take the chance to match his behavior even MORE perfectly, and wanting to know where he learned something as (relatively, by their standards) simple as the Serious Business Walk, and wanting to share that memory because it's just fuckin cool, y'all! like, to be clear, i absolutely respect the fact that, at least by the time that they're entering adulthood/in the prime of their mental and physical youth, any of the batkids are pretty much on, or definitely rapidly approaching, the same level as bruce in general badassery — and they probably each have 1 or 2 specific skillsets in which they can and do surpass him. but at the same time, you CANNOT convince me that, at any given point in the established DC timeline, there exists a non-bruce batfam character who can really look at bruce (like his personality, his aforementioned ridiculous skillset, i mean everything about him) and not see at least ONE quality in him that they aspire to. maybe it's something they already have and just can't see in themselves, maybe it's more a projection of something one of their other siblings has and shares with bruce, maybe it's just some skill, some random combat move, that he doesn't need very often, and so when he does use it, it briefly reminds them that "holy shit, he's The Fucking Batman" — but there's always SOMETHING there, some reason that even when they're having trouble communicating or arguing or emotions are running high, they'll never truly lose that respect for him that compels these ridiculously independent, self-sufficient people to willingly follow him: to listen to him, to trust him, and to keep themselves ready to unite under his lead. because nobody can argue that they are a clan, whose purpose comes from being first united under the guidance and protection and love of the bat.

The joker near you laughed, a stressed laugh. You knew what that meant. Sooner or later something, or worst someone will blow up.

So you decided to take care of the situation in an even more aggressive way. It was risky to say the least, but extreme problems require extreme solutions, and oh if Batman was a fucking problem.

So you taked a deep breath and cleared your mind (as much as you could with the Clown losing the last bit of sanity he had in the driver seat) and visualized the annoying bat being throwed under your car.

Suddendly all the noises stopped, then a loud 'bang' could be heard and you saw Batman flying rigth on the car windscreen leaking blood over it.

You did it!!

Joker clapped his hands "My good Darling! He got what he deserved! Death to the bat! Death to the bat!" He singed sang, but it sounded muffled, oh so muffled...

The only thing on your mind was a drop. 'tic tic tic' (a/n: does this make sense?)

You looked down and saw your hands covered in blood, your nose was bleesdng... Your eyes felt heavy, the last thing you heard was your name, Joker was calling you. Then it all went black.

Joker on the other hand did not excpect you to faint. It was unplanned, and he even if he loved surprises he didn't love having you in this state.

If we're being honest, at first he was tempted to leave you there (a/n: for me the story finishes like this :) but a request is a request lol) but then a voice, one of the too many in his head, told him not to do it, that he needed you, even if he didn't really know for what... So he drived to his mansion, every now and then checking on you.

Once in your shared bedroom he layed you on the bed.

Joker started to genuinely feel concerned for you, almost an hour as passed and you still weren't awake.. His pretty toy can't die, not if he doesn't want she to do so at least.

He then decided to lay down near you, for the first time in his life he felt a little scared, the voices in his head getting loud, he could hear them scream, scream that you had to wake up, that you couldn't leave him, that he-

He suddendly turned his head to look at his pet, who had now opened her eyes.

you tried to talk but he stopped you, he just wanted to held you on his chest. You didn't dare to discontent him by moving. Not wanting to miss the chance to have some affection since he rarely initiated it, you ignored your headache and relaxed into his touch.

Ironically the place where you felt the most safe were the place where everyone else felt the most scared.

Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros thoughts and things

WOW...Literally breezed through this book, I couldn't put it down. I thought it was a great continuation of the story and characters. I did think it was a bit slow at times, and could have been about 100 pages shorter but all in all, so pleased with this book.

I give it an 8/10

Okay here we go ...

I really loved Violet and Xaden in this book, which is amazing because I was scared of if I would get annoyed or anything from how much I liked them in the 1st book. I really love how this book showed just how intimate their relationship is. I loved how even when they weren't "together" we got some really beautiful scenes of them just being so comfortable in eachothers presence. Like them laying in the bed at Samara. With that being said, I think there was a lot of time spent on the same argument over and over, which started to feel like it was dragging on a bit long. They started the same conversation about Xaden keeping secrets like 10 times and got interrupted like 8 of those times lol. Other than that, love their relationship.

I really like that Violet started to get more of a grip on her power and was able to control it more. I loved seeing her get more confident.

I have a theory that she can maybe speak to the dead? Idk we only had that one incident while she was being interrogated and Liam showed up. But idk, that whole thing felt very specific and fishy for it to just be a hallucination. So maybe it's Andarna channeling? I'm not sure 🤷‍♀️ I also have this thought though, it's more out there, that Tarins previous rider was Violet and maybe Brennan and Miras, biological father? Because that could explain why he died for Brennan and maybe why Violet had a second signet if she does.

I really didn't guess Andarnas history and I'm excited to learn more about this 7th type of dragon. Cause like, were they wiped out? Did they leave? Why only leave one hatchling? So many questions.

XADEN wtf are you doing, my sweet, sweet child. First of all, I guessed that he's an intrinsic(however it's spelled) after reading the first one. But I thought Tarin knew, which he did not.

Obviously, it's not good that Xaden is now turning into a Venin but I think that plot line has potential to be super interesting. We really got to see that xaden would damn the rest of the world to save Violet, and this could open up a door for her to do the same. I would LOVE to see Violet go a little dark and to some extreme lengths to save him.

I definitely feel like I want to know more about the dragons and how their hierarchy and bonds with eachother work. I want to know more about Tarin and Sgyaels bond and if it's similar to the human emotion of love or if it's about power? Loved the scene of Violet and Tarin thinking something happened to X and S and Violet was overcome with protectivness and stuff(you know what other stuff 🥵🥵)

Loved that we got more bonding of Violet and her squad. I feel like I actually care about them now where as at the end of book one, I didn't really that much. Also, love Sawyer and Jesenia, I hope she helps him heel and they live happily ever after lol.

Brennan was a bit underwhelming for me. As of rn I wouldn't mind if he died lol.

Overall Im so excited for book three. I'm sure I'll think of more things to add but I'd love to hear everybody else's thoughts!!

Congrats on the 1k followers! I loved your matchup you did for me not too terribly long ago and thought I’d really love to participate in this event too, I hope you don’t mind

This is in request of twisted wonderland fandom.

1. The one who I took the hand off first was Malleus. I favored him in the beginning because I freaking love dragons, and those horns! 😂 yeah, sadly I’m a dork. Anywho, he was tall, dark and mysterious. Who isn’t immediately drawn to that type of enigma? Then to learn that he was never invited to meetings and what nots, I felt bad for him. Poor thing 😭

2. I enjoyed Malleus only short lived though, Rook Hunt’s flirting is what freaking drew me in. Lord have mercy! No character makes you feel quite loved and appreciate like he freaking does! He’s heavy on the flirting and praise… kind of hard to not like that (especially when you are a social outcast and overall black sheep). So, Rook Hunt has been my Home Screen and obsession for literally longer than any other character in any Otome or game or anime that I’ve ever freaking obsessed over. lol! I get excited whenever he pops up in events and stories! I’m obsessed over him like he is with Leona and Neige! 😭😭😭 it’s so sad!

3. Rook Hunt-he seems to be the kindest and least judgmental character. His smile and laugh are freaking infectious! His flirting! His voice actor does him major justice, that voice makes me melt every time! As a person who is extremely socially awkward (outside of internet, apparently😂😂) it is nice to know that there is a character who can actually understand exactly what you are thinking or needing without you having to actually voice it (however it also makes you feel vulnerable too!)

4. I think Malleus and I would get along as friends and that would be it. I don’t feel like I need to miss him as I still quite like his character and I enjoy the conversations him and Yuu have. However, my heart quite literally belongs to another…though his love and devotion to Vil and Neige would totally make me jealous and possessive…so pathetic, I know 😭

5. I’m an Aries and an infp. I’m socially awkward and introverted, shy and quiet. I have ptsd, depression and anxiety from being bullied in school (from kindergarten to junior year), a narcissistic and neglectful mother and an abusive father (so I’m not very trusting of others it takes awhile before I let most people in my life and if I do let you in just know I trust and care for you and am fiercely loyal and devoted and extremely protective). I have long hair that I always dye red as it is the only color that takes and actually looks decent on me. I have freckles and hazel eyes and am 5’5 1/2. Rook had first spotted you when he was hunting observing the Rois de Dragons. The two of you were sipping tea on the Ramshackle porch, and having a riveting conversation about gargoyles (Rook could perfectly read lips). The way your eyes were shining in the evening light, it was love at first sight. And Rook handled it as any normal person would.

"Bonjour, mon petit lapin! J'taime! May I join your conversation?" He said, jumping out of the bushes, and  sweeping his hat off his head as he bowed before you. 

Luckily for him, you didn't speak French, at least not fluently. While both of you were startled by the man from the bushes, you figured with Malleus you would be safe. So you allowed him to join you both.

Four months later, you'd fallen for him just as hard as he'd fallen for you. He'd slowly lured you in with the biweekly hair touch ups and his tongue of gold.

Now that you were together, the hair touch ups might be a little too much for your heart.

One thing you could say about Rook, was that he didn't cheap out on hair dye. Honestly, you probably didn't even need to touch it up so often, but it had become a pattern that when the roots started to show, you would hang out in Rook's room after class as he did your hair.

He would apply hair dye while whispering compliments directly into your ear.

"Your eyes are glittering today with the stars that have bound us together. Tres magnifique!"

He would also hum, as he applied the dye, then washed it out, usually giving you an extra scalp massage as he did so. (You still couldn't decide whether teaching him "The Edge of Night" was good or bad).

He would blow dry your hair, and as he maneuvered the dryer, and your hair, he would gently caress the skin he touched.

By this point, his compliments would be slowly devolving into completely French.

"Ma Cherie, you are truly le plus bel être à avoir jamais vécu."

Then he'd press a kiss behind your ear, and whisper something like,

"Were I a meilleur poète, je pourrais te dire à quel point tu as volé mon cœur."

Then he'd slip himself into your lap, and tap your nose playfully while whispering into your neck,

"tu éclaires le monde et dissipe toute l'obscurité et l'ombre dans mon coeur."

He would continue working his fingers through your hair, as he waited for you to get more and more flustered under his touch. He wanted to kiss you. Badly. But a good hunter makes his prey come to him. 

And you always did, as he whispered in French to you, and nuzzled deeper into your neck, pressing soft kisses wherever his mouth landed.

"Rook."

You would always softly whisper his name. He would pull away and look into your eyes with a truly innocent expression.

"Mon lapin?"

Then you would give him an epic pout, and mutter something like, "I know what you're doing. Just kiss me already, you sadist."

He would gasp in mock surprise, and run his thumb along your pouting lips.

"Je suis desole! I have been so focused on your hair that I have neglected you! Ah! I am truly a heartless lover."

You would scowl at him, and be about to remind him that he was teasing you the entire time, but he would always cut you off with a kiss. Which would turn into two kisses. Which would become a cuddle pile of kisses that would last until the door would open, and you'd hear a proper melodic voice call….

"Oh for seven's sake. There's no need to do this every other Tuesday."

"露華" necros md tracker idm revived. "spur" feels like it's that tracker sound, removed from tracker limits.

"føn", my second fav track, feels far more Halley Labs, but still carries a hint of that turn-of-the-century tracker spirit.

I would've just thought it was a delightful romp if it stopped at TECHDOG 1, but damn did it keep going.

*this is a rant about myself, a new baby and autism*

one of my siblings is about to have a kid.

and whilst I've never even remotely had the urge to have any children of my own (in fact, giving birth to a child is one of my biggest fears) I'm feeling this excitement and nerves bubble up, like, deep in my chest.

but I'm also extremely terrified, terrified that I'll love it too much, terrified that it'll change everything, terrified that I'll mess the child up.

it's not even my child but I'm so scared of how my influence is going to affect this kid. i'm an autistic female and have always "passed" as neurotypical, albeit a very shy and reserved neurotypical (I was always just thought to be a "quiet kid", the punishment kid if you were being too loud in class lol).

I think that most of my "fear" around this new addition to the family is that in some fucked up way I feel as though I'm going to impart my fears, reservations and set backs onto this kid, that I might mess the kid up because of the way I am, that i might pass on my autism; and i known thats fucked and not how it works but im still worried, its this little nagging feeling in ths back of my brain that won't go away

and I 100% know that I would never intentionally hurt this child (I love it so much and it's not even here yet), and that these fears of mine are pretty stupid because it's not even my kid, but, i'm still scared, you know??

I don't want it to have to go through the challenges I faced, because of me or my influence.

Anyways, this has been a rant about my own unfounded fears lol, if you actually read it, wow, congrats for making it through this whiny message filled with bad grammar!!

let me start by saying I apologize for the novel I’m about to write.

this was. hands down. the best chapter so far. and I am NOT just saying that bc IT finally happened, ok?

like… everything about it was so beautiful and I usually hate pregnancy scares/arcs but it didn’t feel out of place or forced at all and oh my GOD jungkook !!! like I cried literally the whole way through from when she went missing until the end of the chapter. I didn’t think it was possible to physically feel how much two fictional characters loves another but you did it, Rid. you have breathed so much life into them that I felt like it was playing out right in front of me.

and even before the angst when it’s just them appreciating being together after the move, it was so wonderful to read. sometimes stories get boring when the drama ebbs but it isn’t like that with them bc their emotions are just beautiful to see play out.

and then… you sly cutie… he finally fucking SAID it. and it was so worth the wait of course, and it just made me cry so hard bc I think we all need to hear that right? that even if we stay broken forever someone will still love us? and more importantly SHE needed to hear that. and she better say it back after that stunt she pulled 👊🏼

also usually I don’t really think of the real life counterpart when reading fanfics, at least not unless it’s meant to be set in our world. but this chapter was so jungkook, wasn’t it?

like… in the bathroom scene, when he’s asking to be let in and telling her he’s gonna stay I started thinking about how that’s what his lives are for us, ya know? at least I know for me when i’m at my lowest and metaphorically locked in a bathroom I get that notification and it’s exactly like him knocking on my door. and even the ily confession just reminded me so much of things he’s actually said about him wanting us to be happy and that he loves us unconditionally. maybe I just miss the real jungkook too much… either way. you’re characterization is magical and I will probably never move on from him.

I feel like I actually have so much more to say but my brain isn’t spitting it out… i’m sure i’ll be back.

also, not to brag(?) but these last few chapters of them being official have really reminded me of my boyfriend and I and I think that’s why i’ve loved them even more than the past chapters. it just makes my heart really warm.

ok so, i'll give the extended summary based on what im seeing in the playlist (which appears to be the full press call)

First song is your usual Salieri guilt over Mozart's death and it appears he's locked himself in his room and his servants are worried. He also laments how he's done everything for the masses and not for himself and ends the song with attempting to slit his throat with his quill pen.

Second song is the rumors about how Salieri killed Mozart through poison and how Salieri's gone insane.

Next it moves onto Salieri in bed (looks like a hospital bed) and his wife Therese has come to visit him. He's not doing good begging to leave and saying how he didn't kill Mozart. Therese wonders who it was that made him like this, but does believe he didn't kill Mozart cause she knows Salieri loved him and his music. Salieri feels like he's going to be killed the way Mozart was (likely a symptom of paranoia).

Then Salieri begins to reminisce about the past. About a time when he was one of the best composers and music just flowed so easily. It seems the rest of the musical will take place in this flashback.

Next song is about how Salieri believes his music to be wonderful and perfect :']

ALERT WE HAVE A NEW BITCH BOI ON THE BLOCK (his name is 젤라스 in Korean and I have no fucking clue what that would translate to other than Jealous LOL ngl he might just be the embodiment of Salieri's jealousy but it's.. not clear. I'mma just call him Bitch Boi throughout this) He's always looked up to Salieri and is basically Salieri's #1 fanboy. He'll do anything for Salieri. Salieri tries to reject him. He tells Salieri that he should keep an eye out for Mozart if he doesn't want to become laughingstock.

Introduction to Mozart! He's composing a song based on Caterina's voice. Salieri saw his composition and is getting extremely jealous Mozart was basically able to create it on the spot. Bitch Boi is the one who showed Salieri the composition and is lowkey gloating about how he's right that Salieri should be afraid of Mozart. Salieri is comparing Mozart's work to the voice of God and how everything he stood for is being torn down. Seems Bitch Boi is the one who hated Mozart much more than Salieri did LOL or at least he acts more like a mastermind behind Salieri's jealousy/rage. Salieri's first inklings of imposter syndrome lfgg

Salieri seeing Mozart in person for the first time and Mozart is being the silly little genius with too many notes we all know and love :3 Mozart ultimate lady killer hype man. Seems the Emperor loves his stuff LOL

Caterina is having doubts about her skills and Salieri's telling her that she just has to endure any failures and hardships she encounters. That she just has to believe in herself. Only by doing that can she get her rightful adulation and her true music. He tells her to not be scared and to follow her dreams.

Competition for Kappelmeister! I think. The new and exciting Mozart vs the tried and true Salieri.

Seems Figaro has failed. Mozart is complaining about what exactly music is and how the masses seem to just like meaningless notes. The music that usually talks so easily to him has failed him this time.

Salieri comes by Mozart's house and hums a tune (im not sure what it is but i think it's one of Mozart's compositions). Mozart hums along but has to stop cause of a cough. Salieri is talking about how Mozart's music would always build on itself with emotion. And now the songs he is writing are all sad. Mozart collapses due to cough and he wonders why Salieri has come to see him when everyone else seems to be trying their hardest to forget him. Mozart was jealous of how everyone who looked past his music would love Salieri's and wanted to win against him. Salieri wants Mozart to take his time with the Requiem but Mozart knows he needs to finish it before he dies. Meanwhile Bitch Boi is telling Salieri to kill Mozart. But Salieri works with Mozart to try and finish the Requiem.

Mozart's funeral :'( Salieri is lamenting how Death has given him so much guilt. About how God gave only Mozart Heaven's music and then took him away from Salieri and the rest of the world. He just wants to listen to Mozart's music for the rest of his life. Bitch Boi is back to tell Salieri that God has abandoned him. Salieri is trying to fight against Bitch Boi, asking him to save him from his torment.

Not sure what this next song is about exactly but it's Bitch Boi tormenting Salieri. It might be about finishing the Requiem?

Bitch Boi is holding some of Mozart's compositions that Salieri stole hostage. He wonders if Mozart was really that important to Salieri and Salieri proves that by saying that those compositions are his. Salieri is trying to accept that he lost. That the name lauded by God is Mozart and the name abandoned by God is Salieri. Salieri lamenting the waste of all his work since he's not going to be remembered.

sae doesn't lie a whole ton!!! i won't give away any tells but it's important to note that she lives a very simple, straight forward life that doesn't involve a whole lot of lying to other people. at MOST it would be lying through omission!!!! other than that she's usually quite truthful if you ask her the right questions lmao. not only is she truthful but she'll also start talking forever and ever

😨 FEARFUL - when scared, do they go into "fight" or "flight"?

FIGHT PROBABLY??? moreso freeze i think........... she is not fast enough for flight and isn't one to just book it and leave, especially since she often sways about like she's still got her sea legs half of the time lol. she doesn't resort to violence as a first resort either, but if push comes to shove she'll intimidate yknow??? like she'll step forward and act a bit tougher but its gonna take a LOT for her to start swinging ghfdksghfdjkg. i reckon she's a lot more likely to stop and think for a WHILE. like full sit down on the floor head in her hands moment. try not to get a headache immediately moment

oh you know i love making characters who hold a completely seperate identity to the one they portray to others but honestly sae doesn't hold herself super duper differently around certain people ghfksghk!!! she doesn't have a totally different "true self" like a few of my other ocs have but there are still subtle differences in how she acts around different people :) one of the biggest ones is just how tense she tends to get around people she's not super comfortable with. still prone to rambling and slow moving but her shoulders are always hella rigid lol. she's also a bit more awkward and out of place, like she's not entirely sure how to talk to them just yet so she manoeuvres herself in a way that's a lot more stiff

I haven't watched any Trafiic!Scott before now so I really REALLY want to know more (and ofc watch LOL) so it's very cool and convenient for me that you know him so well!! And yes the being lonely and scared of being left again - that also got me very into it NGL. (why is the projection so strong with him, hm? q.q /pos). But also as a Martyn viewer that was one part that drew me in for him which is that Ren just picked him up in 3rd life and damn if that isn't smth to project onto as well for me ksksks - but yeha enough stuff about me!

I find it super funny and amazing that you're super into 3L and DL and here I sit with still brainrot from LL B) I just love how different each series feels to everyone and we all have such valid favs/favours!!! but yeah I love how u can see those parallels and now even with the parallel in the battle royale between Martyn and Scott - I feel like scratching my eyes out the parallels are too strong and too good!

THE PARALLELS W THEM... THEYRE SO STRONG. talking abt Scott there are SO many parallels between martyn & jimmy; the pufferfish, the blond hair, the protectiveness (just reversed), and more i'm sure i'm not mentioning.

from martyn's pov... i don't know. i feel like i have martyn wrong. sigh. he's just! as a first time viewer of martyn he seems to me very loyal but also haunted by the watchers/listeners/narrative- i don't KNOW most of martyn's lore !! and i was never EXTREMELY into treebark like i was w flower husbands. its just. im trying to figure him out but i still feel like i have him all wrong and the moment i think i've got him figured out someone tells me i'm wrong. trafficblr was all "omg martyn loyal hand killing scott like he killed ren" and im like YEAH YEAH!! and then he wins and its like "no youre fucking wrong he was never loyal ever" and im just like bro wtf. its just ive not WATCHED martyn a ton before LiLife (i watched a few of his 3L & DL videos but not all of them and not anything else outside that) and i'm still trying to get his characterization down and tumblr isn't helping because i was like yeah yeah okay loyal hand this lines up with what i've seen from him, this makes sense, i've got him. and then the finale happens and all of a sudden it's "no you FUCKING IDIOT he's NOT loyal FUCK you"

yes. from a meta perspective: yes. scott DOES NOT want to win again, especially not a third time in a row. yes, technically pearl won DL, but a lot of people do count it as a joint pearl-scott win, so if he won LiLife it would be a third scott win to them. to be honest, scott is just really good at the game and at surviving. he doesn't seek out conflict a lot, tends to stay in his own little area building and surviving, and because of that he usually doesn't engage in a ton of the fighting until later episodes. he's also in a LOT of series & events (cough mcc cough) and he's just good at Minecraft. traffic!scott as a character does not want to play the game, isn't trying to win, and he is kind. but also, yes, cc!scott does not want to win this game. he gets ENOUGH hate for winning mcc, and the amount of hate and negativity certain groups would give him for winning a third season in a row would be AWFUL. also i'm sure he (cc!) wants to give his friends a chance to win, because he's a nice person. but there is DEFINITELY that element of if he had won twitter would be FURIOUS.

YEAH!!! if you want to watch more scott i am here for infodumping hes one of my favorite youtubers genuinely and i love his videos and everything he does. also yeah i like seeing my guy win!! its fun when that happens. and i'm glad you think i've got martyn down because i am definitely not very confident in my characterization of him.
