hi! im miku and welcome to Internet! you can do lots of fun things here. like look at my blog! ok im gonna hand the mic over to the omnipotent being that watches my every move

thanks miku. here are some things to remember before you send an ask:

- I am not associated with crypton, sega, or the official miku twitter! im just a guy making funny post

- miku lives in a computer. i probably won’t answer anything referring to her doing things in the real world, since saying “I am in a computer what are you talking about” is only funny the first five times

- I use my askbox as a jumping off point for jokes! if I don’t answer your ask it’s not because I didn’t like it, I just probably couldn’t think of anything funny to respond with

- I love receiving art!!!!!!! please send me your miku art!!!!!!! you can even send me a link to your art posted on your own blog and I’ll reblog it so you still get the notes!!!! I LOVE ART!!!!!! (also the ai training toggle has been turned off for this blog so. you’re safe here.)

- there are some things you should speak to a mental health professional about ( ie “i just can’t go on” “my life is terrible” ect) and you should not send these things to hatsune miku. i understand and empathize with you but I cannot help you and it’s very upsetting to receive things like this !

- anything written in parentheses for the most part is an ooc comment from the person running this blog (that’s me!). I don’t like doing this very often though, so if you have a question that can only really be answered ooc then please ask it off anon so I can respond privately!

- please remember I am just one person and sometimes I make mistakes! im a pretty busy person and also disabled so sometimes things slip through the cracks when im low energy. I do my best though so please let me know if you think i’ve made a mistake and i’ll do my best to fix it :]

A: no! I can barely think of funny things to say here do you really think I could manage being funny on two blogs at once. I am friends with the people who run the teto, luka and una blogs so if our posts seem coordinated it’s because I asked them really nicely

SYNOPSIS: seems like the Xianzhou has hired a freelance photographer to help with their new magazine. however, this model seems to have fallen head over heels for a certain photographer - what exactly is their story?

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8 2023 — 4:29 PM

FIDDLING WITH THE settings of your camera, you hear heavy footsteps approach — the dirt path crunching with every step made. Lifting your camera along with your head, you see a familiar shade of amber looking into your camera's lens with a glimmer of amusement in them.

Smiling softly at the sight of him, you take a picture of him right then and there.

"Has the photoshoot already started?" Jing yuan jests as you open your other eye to see him properly, without the white grid bordering his face.

"Nope, just wanted a new contact photo for you," you reply, clicking your cameras buttons to pull up the newest photo you took. "Not bad, right?" you turn your back to Jing yuan and raise your camera so he can no longer see the picture properly.

Leaning over your shoulder — breath tickling your ear lobe and your cheek — his baritone voice humming in your ear, "Mhm, it looks nice."

Feeling the tips of your ears burn, you play off the smile encroaching on your face by thanking him for his praises. "So what do you wanna do first? Do you feel like laying in the field, or maybe holding some of the flowers? Which do you prefer?"

"Picking the flowers would be amusing, as we just did that last week," Jing yuan chuckled, following your footsteps further into the flower field.

"I think here is good," you say, grasping your camera.

Humming in agreement, he kneels down closer to the flowerbed as if admiring them. Smiling at the sight, you snap a photo of the back of his head looking down at the flowers below your feet; he looks over his shoulder, giving you a smirk and a hand reaching out.

Thinking nothing of it, you place your palm onto his unbeknownst to the outcome of your actions. Letting out a yelp as he pulls you into the flowerbed with him, managing to clutch onto your camera at the last moment.

Your impact on him forced Jing yuan to sit fully on the grass, hand no longer holding yours but instead steadying your shoulder as your head rested close to his chest. The rest of your body laying on the ground between his legs.

Jing yuans deep laugh filled your ears as you were able to smell the earthy scent much easier now that you were closer to the ground. "Why are you like this?" you exclaim, your head leaving his chest to stare at him face to face with your hands gripping his shoulders.

"The urge was simply to big to resist," he simply states with a lazy grin on his face that most definitely established that he held no regrets.

Rolling your eyes at his response, you hastily get up (from essentially his lap), brushing of the dirt off your clothes. Grumbling, "I'm working, bitch."

FINDING COMFORT IN the shade of a nearby tree, you admire Jing yuan from a distance. He was once more kneeling in the flower field, his amber eyes matching the glow of the sun perfectly.

You mentally argue with yourself on whether or not to take a photo, but that decision has already been made up for you as the model stood up with something new added to his silhouette. "Close your eyes!" his voice calls out.

"I'm scared," you say, closing your eyes nonetheless.

"Are they closed?"

"Yes."

"Good," he replies, voice now much closer than before.

The only thing your senses picked up on was the sound of Jing yuan's shoes stepping on the dirt path to the tree you were under and the smell of the flowers that surrounded every direction.

After a moment, you hear a gentle, "Open."

Blinking once, then twice to become adjusted to the sun's light once more, you're met with makeshift bouquet of daisies being offered to you. "Well?" he asks, eyes scanning your face for your reaction to his gift.

You were helpless against the smile that grew on your face, a light-hearted laugh escapes your lips, "Let me take a picture first."

The sun's rays fell perfectly against the folds of his clothes; the soft white petals of the daisies practically blending in with his shirt. Your camera clicked at the sight, looking down at the digital screen you see the results, "Nice."

"We should get one more," you say, looking at Jing yuan for his opinion on it. He only stares at you blankly, blinking once as if asking you a question in return. Glancing back down into his hand, you softly scoff at his antics and take the freshly made bouquet.

His lips quirk up into a smile, nodding his head in agreement as to what you said prior.

“Cool, now get your ass up on that swing,” you deadpan, pointing your free hand up at the swing made of simply wood and rope hanging from the trees sturdy branch; swaying slightly due to the wind.

“Alright,” he nodded once more, sitting on the swing; kicking his feet on the grass to start swinging on his own.

Stepping back, you lifted your camera to your face with the only thing that could be heard was the chirping of birds and the click of your cameras buttons.

Dante wasn’t kidding when he said he would take you on a shopping spree. You recalled his exact words: "Shop until you drop, babe." Well, you certainly felt like dropping. You had been at the shopping mall for several hours, browsing through every shop that even caught a hint of your attention. Your boyfriend was more than happy to encourage you along, spoiling you so rotten that you felt your teeth were going to start falling out with how sugary sweet he has been to you, refusing to let you even pay for your own drink.

A wistful sigh blew past your lips as you exited yet another designer clothes shop for the umpteenth time that day. Your feet were starting to ache from the miles you had been walking around in your shoes and your wrists were begging for relief with the amount of shopping bags you held. Your ears were ringing from the countless noises of voices echoing around the shopping district, throngs of children and adults alike scattered in a sea of bodies surrounding you. For the weekend, the crowd wasn’t that bad. Thankfully, you came at a time when there were no important holidays coming up. You could only imagine the nightmarish hellscape it could turn into.

As you lost yourself in a myriad of your own thoughts, you failed to realise Dante sneaking up to you until his cheery voice broke you out of your stupor. Your shoulders tensed before they relaxed when you recognised his familiar voice cooing in your ear.

"Hey, those look heavy" Dante said. "Let me take them off your hands."

You opened your mouth to reply but all that came out was a mild noise of protest as Dante plucked the shopping bags from your grasp. He already had an armful of other bags yet he didn’t seem the least bit perturbed as he added to the pile bundled in his arms. He got a few, quizzical looks from a couple of bystanders passing by but no one seemed to outright question the ridiculous display of strength that he was currently exhibiting.

"I can carry those myself" you argued, placing an idle hand on your hip.

"That’s okay, I got it babe" Dante replied with a smile.

You shook your head, a fond smile tilting your lips as you did a mental count in your head of all the things you had bought today. You took a few steps away from the entrance of the store, Dante following close behind so he didn’t crowd the exit for other patrons. You tapped your chin in thought as a sigh fell from your parted lips. Maybe you went a little overboard today on the spending. You felt a little bad for spending all of Dante’s money when he barely had any to begin with.

"I’m all shopped out Dante" you said with a decisive nod. "I think its time we head home."

"Are you sure? Didn’t you want to get that cute little necklace you saw a few shops ago? You know, the one that complimented your eyes?"

You blanched at that. How the hell did he know that you had been eyeing it? The only reason you had put it back was because the price tag had just been a tad too expensive. It was one of the only things you had said no to during your shopping trip. You swallowed around the awkward lump in your throat as you shook your head.

"I don’t need it. I’ll live."

A small pout tugged at Dante’s lips. "Aww, come on, don’t be like that. Let me by it for you."

You playfully rolled your eyes. "Dante, no. You’ve spent enough."

"It’s never enough if it’s for you" he chimed in a sickly-sweet voice.

"Do you even have enough to pay your bills this month?"

Dante shrugged his shoulders, jostling the countless amounts of bags he carried. "Eh, probably? That’s not the point. Come on, let me buy it for you~"

You pinched the bridge of your nose. You were going to have to start putting this man on a leash just to have some semblance of control over him. You could tell that he was not going to budge and you both could stand here for literal hours arguing back and forth on why he didn’t need to throw his money at you. You didn’t fall in love with him for that reason and he was well aware of that fact. Dante just liked getting you nice things and seeing the bright, beaming smile on your face. You were worth every cent.

"Please?" Dante tried again. "I promise we’ll go home after that."

You huffed loudly. "You’re a lovesick fool."

Dante smiled as he leaned closer to you, his face hovering only mere inches from yours. His blue eyes sparkled playfully, wisps of his snow-white hair tickling your cheek as he grinned.

"Yeah, but I’m your lovesick fool."

Damn, he’s got you there.

"Come on, give me some sugar."

You playfully swatted his shoulder as you leaned up and planted a chaste kiss on his lips, earning you a mix of disdain and adoration from the people around you who just so happened to look in your direction. You could care less about the onlookers. It felt like they all just had faded in the background and all that mattered was the man standing in front of you. Dante pulled away from your cherry red lips with an infectious smile on his face, the twinkle in his eye only intensifying when a pretty dress caught his attention in the window of a shop.

"Hey, that’d look nice on you, pretty girl. Let me buy it for you."

Your shoulders sagged. You’d be lucky if you made it out of here before dark.

GET OUR SH*T TOGETHER IN 2024

If you are someone like me and you have been slacking in the self department in 2023 join me and we can do it together! <3

I have been drafting up for the last couple of days some tips and tricks that I feel will help me and hopefully you too :)

Firstly I want to say that glowing up or trying to work for the better version of you can be manageable, by starting small and building the certain habits that you feel will suit you, at first it doesn't even have to cost money or a lot of your time, however it does require a lot of discipline and patience with yourself.

Journaling

How does Journaling help?

Journaling helps you understand your emotional reactions more clearly, and puts you in control of your emotions instead of the other way around.

Meaning that through this you will be able to figure out the things you might feel might be harder for you at the beginning, its important not to rush this progress.

2. Routine

I know everybody often talks about this topic, and often times no one talks about how hard the adjusting period actually is, it is hard to change everything or even a small significant thing around you especially when you've been getting used to not having such an active life or perhaps some of us feel additionally on top of our other lifestyle arrangements to add ourselves on top is too much which takes me to my next point which is time blocking.

3. Time Blocking

Time blocking is the process of breaking your schedule down into individual blocks of time it can be a great way to increase focus and productivity. I usually do this in 3 steps

Choose in advance what to work on. (I usually do it 2 nights or the night before)

Decide when to tackle priority tasks, this can be done in whichever interval you would like, I usually do it hourly.

Block off a chunk of time on your calendar for each task.

Now that we have the 3 basics down, we can create the routine we want to and implement the goals we wish to achieve:

BODY

In 2024 I certainly and Im sure alot of us have certain gym goals that we would like to achieve, this in turn working out has great benefit not only to your body but also your mental health over time. Even 30 minutes a day will make a big impact especially at the beginning if you are someone like me who hates the gym at the beginning but feel great afterwards, try to start small, a small walk, a small 10 minute YouTube video work out and slowly add more time as more weeks go by.

SKINCARE

One of my biggest goal is definitely towards my skin.

Its important to get out of the habit of not washing or being gentle with your skin, whatever you do one thing i will always say to prioritise is moisturising, MOISTURISE, MOISTURISE!

I have had acne and bad skin since I was a teenager no matter what I've put on my face from retinoids, to all these different creams and acids one thing I will ALWAYS say makes all the difference now and even long term is keeping your skin hydrated and wearing sunscreen, you can even get a 2 in 1 moisturiser and sun cream.

CLOTHES

Basics will be the way to go, if you're looking to investing into a new wardrobe in 2024 one thing my mother and over time i have learned that basics will never run out of fashion its the accessories that you'll need to put an extra time and eye on, a bag, jewellery, coats, sunglasses, focus on certain things that will bring out a staple to your outfit.

BONUS

I am of course adding manifestation and the songs, reprograming your thinking into this as a bonus, this is for the ones that want to either practice this or already do BUT I feel that making your affirmation playlist/ song will work better at time rather than the ones on youtube, don't get me wrong subliminal on YT they do work but if you were to make it yourself it has that extra pull. I made my own about a month ago and it has been working great for me.

Additionally I would also like to mention the importance of paying more attention to the songs and the words you listen to, the things you watch on social media, not everything has to be consumed, either a social media cleanse or trying to change your algorithm I feel is a key when it comes to wanting to grow within one self.

GRATITUDE

When you journal, try to leave a section at the end of the day for the things you feel grateful, i promise, try it for a week, it'll change your life.

some of my new manifesting “techniques” 🦥

( I WROTE EVERYTHING OUT ONCE THEN ACCIDENTALLY CLOSED THE APP AND LOST IT ALMOST CRIED SO HERE I AM RE WRITING EVERYTHING.)

now these are just some things that i added to my new routine to help me in my journey that helps ME personally if you like anything i list in the post you are more then welcome to add it to your own routine our switch it up a bit to your liking :) now to the post we go

💟 : manifesting something new each week.

so for this what i am gonna do is target something each week to get by the end of the week (friday) for example. say i wanted to manifest finding 20 dollars on the sidewalk on friday ill assume/affirm, “on friday i will find 20 dollars on the side walk” “on friday when i go outside i will find 20 dollars”. this will help keep manifesting fun and keep it from turning into feeling like a chore & it will boost my faith in the LOA and my faith in my power.

💟: manifesting something labeled “small” for me everyday.

by this i mean something smaller to me, because i know labeling your desires “big” and “small” can be harmful i simply mean things that arent as big, important or exciting as me manifesting my desired face. now for example say for today i wanna manifest seeing a rainbow colored car ill affirm “i just saw a rainbow colored car pass by” , “subconscious i command you to show me a rainbow colored car” etc. this ties in with keeping manifesting fun and also boosting my faith in the law and my own power.

💟: not writing out my desires/affirmations

now not everyone needs to do this as i used to write out my desires and affirmations almost everyone does i just want to stop doing this because i realize how much stress,doubts, and overcomplicating the LOA i do when i do this. instead i’ll simply just write out self concept affirmations and thats it, for any of my desires like df or db ill just affirm i have that when im in the mood to or when i want to saturate my mind OR if i think of it. writing out my desires or affirmations on a list makes it feel like im doing this as a chore or im in a lack of want by writing out everything and opening it everyday to read it. so by not doing this it can help me get into a state or knowing or a state of wish fulfilled easier.

💟: sticking to the basics and only using subliminals, affirmations,sats, and a mental diet.

if you dont know what subliminals are they’re just videos with hidden affirmations with music layered on top so you cant hear them, i only wanna stick with three things affirmations, subliminals and ONE AND ONLY METHOD sats. i want to do this because it keeps manifesting simple and not me doing 293893 methods to “try” and manifest my desires. and by sticking to the basics i mean simply remembering this picture which simplifies manifesting. and lastly a mental diet which is literally just flipping any and every thought u can and making them into thoughts that work in your favor its that simple it can be difficult at first to watch ur thoughts not at all times just when needed and instantly changing an unfavorable thought into a good one can be tricky but all you have to do is persist and you will not regret it

now here are just some things im gonna be doing to my routine to help me with my journey. these are the things ik will help me stay on track and actually keep me persisting, on track and not giving up until i get what i want. if you like anything i said once again dont be shy to add it to your routine. make your journey fun take care of urself just because you can get anything you want dont stop taking care of urself do ur makeup, even if ur manifesting clear skin do ur skin care BUT only if you want to because it will make you feel good not because you feel like you have to change the 3d. do things that will keep you in a good mood because even tho high vibrations and good moods aren’t needed for the law of assumption its better to have a higher self concept to help you manifest more easy rather then having a low self concept and just make manifesting more difficult for you, so make a routine , go shopping, get that job DO things that will make you feel happy dont do things because you feel like you have the change ur 3d no let your 4d and the law handle that :))

ATTENTION TADC FANS!

youve all been waiting, and im finally taking requests for TADC again! apologies for the sudden shut down and dismissal of the requests, but it was truly getting to a point where i was beginning to hit the beginning stages of a burnout; and in order to prevent myself from resenting the media or growing tired of it, i had to take a break.. but we're back! with a few news rules that i urge you guys look into since things are going to be slightly different this time around (not much, only one real rule is added, but still!)

As per usual for these posts, im linking my pinned that has most of the rules that generally apply to this blog, really these posts are just for me to announce that im taking stuff for a fandom, you know?

if youre not new around here, though, you will notice a note within the "i will write section", which is that new rule i mentioned above the cut!

however for those who cannot access the link for whatever reason, here is a summarized list of rules n stuff

Basic rules and boundaries:

all requests must be sent in through the inbox. any requests submitted via comments or dms will not be answered, period. i prefer the inbox because its all in one place and easier for me to keep track of things. dms feel invasive and make me feel pressured, and comments can be lost easily. as well as this, with asks i have the request right there so i dont have to dip back and forth for details on what you want

no spamming, please! while i am deciding to keep anon on i can tell when its different requestors asking for the same thing by chance, and when its the same person sending in the same thing. you will receive a warning once (this alone counts as one so technically you get two), after that your request will be denied flat out

as of 12/14/2023, i am not taking oc readers or readers based off of canon characters. while i did canon characters before, i do not have the means or energy to comb through many character wikis for every request. i do intend on opening character based readers eventually, but as of now it is not possible or efficient. you CAN ask for specific traits or personalities, though, thats still allowed

the new rule i mentioned: the new maximum number of characters you can ask for per request is 4-5. before i didnt see much point in limiting TADC since its just 7 characters but i found that most people asked for full casts, but most requests didnt spark any real ideas for every character; thus really feeding into that burnout i mentioned. any requests failing to follow this rule will be put in the wheel (wheel will have the characters names and it will choose who will be written for the request)

i can deny your request for any reason, usually though it will be for discomfort or for being in violation of the admins rules/falls into what he wont write

What I will Write:

fluff and angst! as well as general headcannons! scenarios are allowed too!

poly, platonic, romantic, ect is fine! any characteristics for the reader are usually fine (ex. child!reader, artist!reader, ectect, obviously for stuff like kid readers it will automatically be platonic)

really most things are fine, if theres anything that makes the admin uncomfortable, he will communicate it!

while technically i do write for it, please be mindful when asking for requests that tackle heavier topics (abvse, self h4rm, ect) and will be handled on a case by case basis rather than being set to a solid standard, as well as taking the admins current mental state into consideration when handling these requests

What I WONT Write:

NSFW or NSFW adjacent requests. no smut, no kinks. i have had people try to sneak kinks past me by trying to mess with wording or by trying to justify it by saying it was intended to be fluff. i do not kink shame, but that wont be tolerated here

no yandere stuff, admin isnt really comfy with it. theres a difference between writing characters that can be very jealous and writing something that is extremely unhealthy and to admins knowledge, demonizes those with mental disorders

as mentioned above, heavier topics will be taken with a case by case basis; however if youre asking for things like abvsive!jax x reader or jax walking in on reader SHing then its a hard no. active stuff will not be written here, however a character who has gone through that in the past is an entirely different story

full on fanfics; outside of special occasion, the admin only writes short little paragraphs and stuff for posts

general ban on basic nono content

On the off chance that you request something that has already been done before, admin will link the post that has your request!

observation on amanda brotzman, wakti wapnasi, and the "acceptance & commitment" therapy model

so, last december i'd been reading the wikipedia article on "self as context", a fundamental concept from AC-therapy, and i'd noticed some parallels between the ideas it introduced to me & some of the dghda s2 dialogue!

first, a few excerpts from the article to serve as context:

Self-as-context, one of the core principles in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), is the concept that people are not the content of their thoughts or feelings, but rather are the consciousness experiencing or observing the thoughts and feelings. Self-as-context is distinguished from self-as-content, defined in ACT as the social scripts people maintain about who they are and how they operate in the world.

The conceptual self is a person's self-as-content. A personal narrative, the conceptual self includes objective facts (name, age, sex, cultural background, marital status, occupation, etc.), subjective details (likes, dislikes, hopes, fears, and perceived strengths and weaknesses), social roles (friend, spouse, parent, child), and gender roles (mother, father, daughter, son)

In ACT cognitive defusion exercises are utilized to demonstrate how thoughts have no literal power over action, thereby increasing mental flexibility. If someone thinks "I am the worst," for example, a cognitive defusion exercise would observe "I am having the thought that I am the worst."

Experientially, the observational self is the part of consciousness that hears one's inner voice, and sees images in the mind's eye.

and sO, THEY'RE LITERALLY ACTUALLY DOING A-C-T EXERCISES. not saying that this vindicates wakti, cause therapy without informed consent is just mordernized, authority-approved gaslighting — but HOT DAMN i didn't know there was a specific word for techniques she used!!!

It's been a few more months since you and tate hooked up, that's all you both had been doing now hooking up, but the truth had came out.

You didn't mean for it to happen, you thought she was out the house, little did you know she was dead and stuck here same as you now, how you had gotten caught was mid act.

Tate on top of you both moaning and panting, "what the fuck y/n" your sister shouted making tate jump off you and you covering your body up with the covers.

"Violet" you gasped in shock, fear and disappointment in yourself, "Don't fucking say it's not what it looks like" she said tears threatening to spill out her eyes.

Tate hung his head in shame being caught fucking his girlfriends sister, what could you both say to make the situation better, nothing.

"Violet listen please im sorry" you said above whisper, Violet shook her head in anger "no y/n your my big sister and you do this to me the one person who I look up to the only one who understands you" she sobbed.

"How long has this been going on for?" She asked wiping her tears, "a few months" tate said not daring to look in his girlfriends eyes.

"We never meant for it to be like this" you said your eyes watering, still on the bed covered up, "I hate you y/n I hate you both your selfish bitch" your sister yelled storming off.

"Shit, shit, shit" you groaned hitting your fist off the pillow, "Hey, hey calm down y/n we'll fix this" tate said stopping your fistfron hitting the pillow again, "no tate it's not my sister caught me getting fucked by her boyfriend" you snapped.

"I'm sorry y/n I'm so sorry" tate spoke wrapping an arm around you, but you got out of bed throwing clothes on to try and talk to violet.

But nothing worked, nothing did violet shunned you, another added to the list of why you ages went by, violet forgave tate but not you, you didn't understand why she forgave him but not you, but it made you angry.

It was the night your mother was released from the psych ward you nor violet could have went with your dad, leaving him mad and upset.

You sat in your room loud sound of mazzy star playing on your stereo, you didn't notice tate coming into the room, sitting on your bed, that's when you noticed him.

Turning your stereo down a little with annoyed eyes, "what do you want tate" you huffed running a hand through your messy hair, "I wanted to see you I miss you" tate said his eyes puffy and red.

"Why your back with violet, tate what could you want to see me for" you chuckled coldly fixing your cds back in place, "because y/n I don't know I'm stuck between you both I am" he sighed on the cusp of tears.

"Well you can stay with violet because I ain't some side piece anymore" you said now looking at him, "no don't, don't say that y/n" tate pleaded getting off the bed to sit by your side.

"No tate if you don't want to hear that then make a decision me or her because it's out of mine and violets hands now" you said hearing the front door open your dad banging violets door.

Everything after that was a blur next thing you knew, your mom was giving birth to your siblings, you were on edge scared of what will happen.

"Y/n please I need to talk to you" tate said pulling you away from your thoughts stood in the hallway, "what tate what I need to be there for them" you said.

"I choose you I want to be with you" he whispered against your lips pressing his lips on yours, you melted into his touch your hand pressed against his cold cheek, you felt like it was in the movies the sparks and fireworks going off.

"We need to tell violet" you whispered now not caring if you'll get more shunned than you already were, "okay" tate smiled against your plump lips.

Now making your way to your sisters bedroom, she was sitting on the bed glum as usual "what do you want y/n" violet snarled making you roll your eyes.

"Violet tate made his mind up" you sighed, letting tate do the rest "look violet I love y/n I'm sorry but I love her" he said wrapping an arm around your waist.

"I know I'm not bothered in fact you two deserve each other" violet's eyes enraged as you both walked out the room, you knew then to stay away from your sister until she forgives you if she ever will.

But you have tate by your side that was all that matters to you.

皆、こんにちは～

久しぶり！皆はどう？私は元気。私たちが最後に話してから、たくさんのことが起こった。

先学期はとても難しかったんだ。Cさんと私は話しを止めた。I won't get into too many details but my mental health was absolute dog water. とても落ち込んでいた。。。I still somehow managed to get on the dean's list (i have no idea) (it was my 4 credit chinese class that i got an A in that helped me do it)

With all that said, I'm doing a lot better now. I just hope it stays like that…

この冬休みにたくさん原神をしたｗｗ

ナビアがほしかったから、朝から夜まで原神をして、プリモジェムを得（え）た。バナーの最初から最後まで、毎日働いた。

ついに、最後の日にナビアを手に入れた！！ナビアはとても強くて、きれいだ

I'm currently building her and shes only lvl 5 (all talents 0) and she already does more damage than my lvl 80 beidou lol

Actually, 先日は、I finally got my yanfei to friendship lvl 10! Even though I'm mainly farming for Navia right now, I want Yanfei to be my first triple crown cutie. She was my first lvl 90 character and first friendship lvl 10 character. It's only fitting that shes my first triple crown cutie　(my acc is just turning into a yanfei fan acc lmao)

I also managed to get Chevreuse before Raidens banner ended so I'm gonna build her and now I have a good team! Yanfei as my DPS, Beidou as sub dps, and Fischl and Chevreuse as support. I also noticed that Chevreuse was healing me? That's awesome and super helpful.

But i digress

It's been a few weeks since classes have started so let me tell you what's been going on in my japanese classes!

We had to briefly introduce ourselves on the first day but she wanted us to use たり　たりする for talking about things we like and i forgot TT i wasnt the only one who messed up lmao

A lot of kids in that class that I'm surprised made it this far…. Who said that

Theres actually a chinese professor in my class lmao he just wants to learn some japanese

We did a dialogue last week let's see if i still remember it

In my intermediate 2 class weve started by doing てすみませんでした、といいです、てあげる／くれる／もらう／いただく

In my practical reading and speaking class we started off by learning and talking about 体験教室 (たいけんきょうしつ)　trial lessons

We did a dialogue of sorts, for example:

あなた：すみません、～～～の教室に参加したいんですが。

受付の人：次はX月X日のX曜日です。

あなた：いつですか。

受付の人：朝／昼のＸ時からＸ時と昼／夜のＸ時からＸ時です。

あなた：いくらですか。

受付の人：お金はいりません。／ただです。

あなた：何を持ってきたらいいですか。

受付の人：大丈夫です。全部こちらで用意しますから。

ーーー

あなた：すみません、～～～の教室に参加したいんですが。まだ、あいていますか。

受付の人：～～～教室ですね。X曜日のクラスはもう一杯ですね。X曜日のクラスでもいいですか。

あなた：はい、いいです。コースは一回でいくらですか。

So it was basically things like that where we practiced different situations and then switched to listening practice. Then we moved on to foods. Conversation like：

この料理に卵を使っていますか。トマトを食べられません。トマトのアレルギーがあるんです。

A：いつまでこのサラダを持ちましょうか。

B：三日まで持ちます。

よかったら、お菓子を食べませんか。

I dont quite remember (昨日だった) but it was something like that

Now, in my intermediate 1 class, we've been doing all sorts of things.

First we started with apologies

Ex. im sorry for talking in class - 授業中に話してすみませんでした。（formal)

So its just the verb in て form plus すみませんでした or ごめん depending on formalness

Im sorry for sleeping in class - 授業中に寝てすみませんでした。

Im sorry for not bringing my textbook - 教科書を持ってこなくて済みませんでした。

Im sorry for the late reply - 返事が遅くなってごめん。

Sorry for not keeping the promise - 約束を守らなくてごめん。

Pretty self explanatory. We then added どうしたんですか to expand on it.

A：ルームメートを起こしてごめん。

B：どうしたの？。

A：歌を歌ったんだ。

B：そうですか。静かになってください

A：友達の誕生日を忘れてごめん。

B：どうしたの？

A：最近、とても忙しくなったの。

B：そうか。じゃあ、忙しくならないでください。

A：原稿用紙を出さなくてすみませ��でした。

B：どうしたんですか。

A：犬は原稿用紙を食べたんです。

B：そうですか。だめですよね。

Simple. 次！

Next we started learning about といいですね which is basically used for saying you hope something will happen.

Like, i hope you find a good part time job ＝いいアルバイトが見つかるといいですね。

Or, I hope it doesnt rain ＝雨が降らないといいですね。

So it's just the short form. (the casual version is just といいね）

But if you want to talk about something you hope for yourself, you have to make it more modest by adding a んですが。 or んだけど。 (casual)

I hope i get a good grade ＝　いい成績をとるといいんだけど。

Note: all these といい examples means that you are hoping that something nice happens. This means that these patterns cannot be used in cases where you hope to do something nice, which is under your control. In that case, you use the potential form.

I hope i can go to japan this summer ＝　この夏、日本に行けるといいんですが。

It's actually really simple. Let's try some more sentences.

I hope yamashita sensei buys a car = 山下先生は車を買うといいですね。

I hope Tanaka and Yamada dont break up = 田中さんと山田さんと別れないといいですね。

I hope I can write tonight = 今晩、書けるといいんだけど。

I hope the plane doesn't crash into the building = 飛行機が建物にぶつけないといいですね。

I hope i dont eat humans = 私は人間を食べないといいんですが。

I hope someone tells me they love me on february 14th = 二月十四日に誰かが私に「愛している」と言ってくれるといいんだけど。

Because i was bad in class today, i hope the teacher doesnt kill me = 今日の授業中に私は悪かったので、先生が私を殺さないといいですね。

I hope i can fill my bathtub with baked beans and cinnamon toast crunch and take a bath in it = 浴槽（よくそう）にベイクドビーンズとシナモントーストクランチを入れて、お風呂に入れるといいんだけど。

The possibilities are endless!!

Next, are the new ways to make a request.

いただけませんか＝ the polie version. Used for bosses, professors, or strangers.

Would you lend me a hand? = 手伝っていただけませんか。

くれませんか＝ about the equivalent to てください most appropriate in the host-family context will you wait for a second? = ちょっと待ってくれませんか。

くれない＝ or the て form by itself is very casual.

Pick that thing up (and pass it to me), will you? = それ取ってくれない？ or それ取って。

It's pretty self explanatory.

Could you write this report? レポートを書いていただけませんか

Could you translate this book? = この本を訳してくれませんか

Could you drive me to the fish store? = 魚屋まで運転してくれない？

This concept just feels a little strange only because we don't really have an equivalent in english. At least, not that I know of.

And finally its the てあげる／くれる／もらう nonsense but i already covered it in a different post from today.

Hi, I just wanted to share my perspective without any hostility or negative intentions. I completely understand your frustration not getting as many reblogs on an art post as is deserved, but I believe that some of the tactics used, such as "reblog or else /threat," can have a negative impact on individuals with OCD, particularly those who struggle with moral purity or scrupulosity. It's important for me to prioritize the well-being of my followers, many of whom are dealing with mental illness, and avoid exposing them to such potentially harmful content, especially when I see vents on the regulsr about how these particular phrases have led to spirals and compulsions resurfacing. Additionally, I often like posts with the intention of later adding image descriptions for the benefit of those using screen readers, as not everyone is able to see images. However, if I were to do that now, I would run the risk of being instantly blocked for not being able to provide a description promptly, which I find difficult to do given my limited energy and also having poor eyesight myself, although not to the level I provide these descriptions for. Additionally, my blog also operates on a queue system, so even if I was able to provide a description quickly, it still might not appear until a few days later! I never reblog from my main blog, so both of these also create the impression of never reblogging, when that isn't at all the case!

TL;DR, I understand your frustration that your art doesn't get the recognition it deserves. However, this is not the right way to handle it. I genuinely hope you can understand that. Jay rewrite

Quick warning: this is entirely my opinion on jay and you could like him or disagree with something I change or add. I don't hate jay(entirely I think he could be annoying at times) I think there are things that the writers did him dirty on.

My problems with Jay

I can quickly boil this down to 4 things. Jay's annoyingness, his sense of humor(especially how and when he makes jokes), how dumb the show makes him for a joke, and how he acts in skybound. But skybound is something I'll handle when I get to my skybound rewrite (but im finishing the characters' personalities first so I'm not going to deal with it yet.) because of what a mess it is in its execution.

"Fixing" Jay

I'll start with Jay's sense of humor. Personally I think Jay is funnier when he is being sarcastic but I would like that to also be a negative in the earlier seasons but becomes a positive in later seasons by seeing flaws in the team's plans. Also I think the teams personalities are shown better when with the others.

Next I'll deal with Jay's annoyingness. Which I feel stems from his loudness and expressiveness (of mainly his negative emotions and still is some how really closed off in the beginning). I feel like this could be solved by putting these traits in a more positive light. Like his loudness, this could be used positively by one using it as comedy and as a distraction. It being used as a distraction could give Jay a good place in a team.

Now the last thing is the show making him dumb for a joke is by shockingly not making him dumber for a joke.(mind blowing I know) Also I said dumber by I'm still keeping Jay a dumbass but not the dumbest. He and Cole together are the dumbasses of the group.

Changing and Adding to Jay's dynamics

Cole: Their idiots that share a single braincell and show their friendship by hating each other. What else is there to say.

Nya: I want Nya and Jay to be opposites in personality. Also I need Jay to be Nya's little discord kitten. Also Jay is really clingy and Nya isn't use to having someone gluing themselves to her. (Also they aren't dating until the end of skybound in my rewrite)

Kai: Literally Kai making fun of Jay then Jay gasping and making fun of him back. Kai gasps and insults him, Jay gets mad then they start arguing but they aren't rivals.

Zane: Jay is a goofy idiot and Zane is a more serious idiot. When every they go one missions together and Jay makes a joke, he always explains to Zane beforehand because when he didn't he was stuck explaining during the fight or after the fight what he meant with it.

Lloyd: Jay is a childish idiot and Lloyd tries to act like his body's age most of the time often acts more of his mental age around Jay.

Pixal: Pixal is just tired of having dumbasses as friends and especially tired of having Jay as a friend in the fact that she has to keep them all on leashes.(even master wu)

Conclusion

Jay had a lot of potential to be one of my favorite characters but all the problems I listed earlier made me dislike like him. I didn't really change his personality but a lot of his jokes would change in the way they are presented and land better. Thanks for listening to my TED talk. Also sorry for taking to long.

preemptive warning for discussion of violence, abuse, and sexual assault in the links ahead

one of the many frustrating parts of schizospec paranoia is that, when it comes to more realistic fears, it gets hard to tell whats The Mental Illness and whats actually justified, at least to a degree. people with schizospec disorders are more likely to be the victims of violence, with some estimates claiming those with schizophrenia are 14x more likely to be victims of violent crimes than they are to commit violent crimes and twice as likely as the general public to be victims of violent crimes, and people with "severe mental illnesses" overall have been repeatedly reported to be at a much higher risk of being the victim of violence.

when you account for other factors which can put an individual at further risk of violence and abuse - physical and intellectual disabilities, race, gender, sexuality, or religion for example - you can easily see that theres plenty of fuel for persecutory fears.

when you account for the fact that schizospec disorders, especially their paranoid symptoms, can be exacerbated and even partially caused by trauma such as being the victim of abuse, and the revictimization rate for victims of such mistreatment, even more fuel is clearly being added. schizospec symptoms can easily mesh with symptoms of ptsd, resulting in paranoid fears that are, to some degree, based in factual events in a persons life.

so, with the way schizospec disorders muddle up our thought processes, it becomes especially difficult to know whether our fears are based in any form of fact or not. i experience fears that people are obsessively attracted to me, because ive been mistreated by past partners and by those who i wasnt involved with like that but who still took their own feelings for me too far. its difficult for me to discern whether people are actually attracted to me, and wanting to harm me because of it, or if its all just my synapses misfiring. i simultaneously have a constant feeling that the people around me are scared of me or see me as less than a person, and are therefore planning on causing me immediate harm or working behind the scenes to ruin my life, but these fears draw on actual experiences of being told im scary or pitiful or lesser, having people actually make efforts to hurt me in one way or another, so on and so forth. i am not the only one experiencing this, im confident.

and then you factor in the fact that those of us with schizospec disorders are most often socially isolated to some degree - the dsm even lists social isolation and difficulty maintaining close relationships to be a symptom of schizotypal personality disorder, for one thing i remember off the top of my head. were seen as strange, unnerving, unnatural, our behaviors are abnormal, we dont connect with others the way we "should", we communicate in confusing ways. every day i feel as if i have an aura emanating off of me that other "normal" people can sense, that tells them im a threat. and so it becomes increasingly difficult for us to find support, for our symptoms, or for the aftermath of discrimination and violence. we often arent truly "people" in the eyes of non schizospecs, rather were psychos, crazies, potential killers. we become collateral damage, acceptable targets. and it becomes easy to brush off our concerns for our own safety, because its more convenient to chalk things up to us just being delusionally paranoid rather than putting in the effort to actually examine the situation and the facts of how dangerous life is for mentally ill people.

i know that my thinking is disorganized here, and im doing the "flowery language" thing because its a serious topic and its hard to put into more succinct terms than dancing around what im saying. so i hope that what im trying to say is actually coming across clearly. my point is that im tired of second guessing myself and never knowing whether my fears of persecution are based in fact or not, and im tired of the social isolation that comes with this shit. im tired of feeling like if anything happens to me its going to be brushed off as just symptoms and not a real problem that matters to anyone except me

EDIT 8/19/2023: because i got reminded of this old post, i want to add that since posting this ive realized i also have npd. usually i keep my npd talk to a side blog because im not super comfortable talking about my symptoms on main, but i do want to add the clarification that the paranoia i talk about in this post is ALSO very very heavily tied to my npd in addition to my being schizospec. and in a way that makes me feel even more vulnerable, because people with npd tend to be villainized and treated as if our problems are just exaggerations to get attention. so when you combine the stigma against both conditions... its fucking rough out here, idk what else to say.

hoshi hosting a secret santa with you sounds so cute! i can imagine him taking this very seriously and will probably look carefully into what you wanted and what he wanted to gift you with. he would be extra aware when you guys when out and he saw you lingering at an item, he'd make a mental note of that, one of the things that could be added in your potential gift list. he'd somehow noticed that you were being very subtle about the gift looking. "babe are you even looking for a gift for me?", he asks you in bed. "what do you mean of course? why would i not?", you ask. "just, you seem to be very subtle about it, haven't really seen you do anything?", he says, the tiniest hint of a pout forming on his lips. "it's called secret santa for a reason", you say deadpan. he just shrugs. "okay maybe you're not getting a gift", you say just to tease him and the frown and look of confusion that breaks out on his face makes you laugh. "im kidding", you say between laughs and he'll just hide his face before engulfing you in a bone crushing hug. "yeah if you don't give me a gift, i'll just assume you're my gift and keep you", he'll joke before kissing you.

christmas carols with seungkwan only you're not as good at singing as him and you're just too shy to sing in front of people. seungkwan would encourage you telling you how good you were when you practice singing in front of him but then when you saw the people gathered, you just couldn't do it and he let you go, giving you a peck on the cheek as he told you to just sit and watch. you'll watch him sing carols with his sweet voice and smile because it helped calm you down a bit and make you feel better. you could see how much fun seungkwan was having though and you loved that.
