Don’t cry please

This is intended to NOT BE DIRECTLY AFTER THE KILLING OF JOEL. This is definitely some time after, I dunno if this is apparent in my writing but yeah. Also this is my 1st fic in the tlou fandom so tell me if it sucks butt or if u like it (-:

You unlocked the door to your shared home and looked around. Ellie not immediately lounging in the living room on a Saturday evening put you to suspicion. So you called out:

“Ellie, my love?”

No answer for a few seconds and then a crash. You got worried, so you walked to your shred bedroom, shut and locked. Something must be wrong..

“El, are you ok, honey?” You asked while knocking on the door.

Agian she doesn’t answer. You suspect she’s upset but you don’t know what about, maybe you did something?

“Can I come in?” You ask in a soft tone.

The door unlocks and cracks open so you can only see a sliver of her tear filled eyes and damp face.

“What’s wrong Ellie?” You ask as you push open the door, it creaks.

You both stand in the doorway. When Ellie sees you worried she bursts into tears.

“My love, don’t cry, what’s the matter?” You say, caressing her face while hot tears stream down her face and onto your hands.

Ellie starts to hyperventilate and panics. Guide her to the bed and sit down with her.

“Ellie, please breathe, you’re going to have a panic attack.” You say while Ellie holds her head and shakes.

“Breathe with me, it will be ok.” You say while breathing deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Ellie coughs, and sputters out words you can’t even comprehend before very slowly calming down.

“Els, tell me what’s the matter beautiful.”

“I was… but… I just was trying to…. I don’t know.. it was Joel.. I swear I heard his voice. i don’t know.” Ellie muttered, looking down, ashamed.

“Oh, Ellie I’m so sorry, I’m so so sorry.” You told her as your wrapped your arms around her in an attempt to make her feel better.

“I know you miss him, I’m so sorry…” you whispered into her ear.

“I love you.” You say as you stroke her hair.

“I love you too.” She says.

You sat in silence for a while. Not in awkward silence but In comfort.

“Do you want some tea?” You asked wiping the tears off her face and giving her a kiss on the forehead.

“Yes please.” She responds.

You make Ellie the tea and you both sit on the couch, watching the rain and drinking your tea.

Lana is so Emo

I know the Emo Movement came and went by the time Lana Del Rey came on the scene but there's something about her music, to me, that envoke this early 2000s feeling.

That's probably because all her songs feel like they were written by the Tumblr Sad Girl aesthetic.

All my fellow emos can disagree with me all they want, I truly do not care at all. It's just an opinion.
