y/n sighed as her phone blew up yet again, her notifications going insane on the bench next to her as she watched her girlfriend train.

Jonas was shouting football instructions y/n vaguely recognised from the sidelines as the training session drew to a close.

y/n was lucky, Jonas was fine with her in the training sessions having been with Katie so long, the team loving her and the fact a lo of the training staff's children had private dance lessons with y/n.

As the session slowly drew to a close, y/n left her phone blowing up on the bench as she went around and helped with picking up the cones.

She found herself at the training centre more often recently, finding it boring being at home while she waited for the announcement of her new job, the BBC still keeping it quiet.

As y/n bent down and grabbed another cone, two familiar hands placed themselves on her hips and as she stood back up she was pulled back into a chest.

"Alright, twinkle toes?" Leah asked with a mock Irish accent, y/n laughed as Katie's head popped up at the sound of her, the Irish woman rolling her eyes at her teammate who had her arms around her girl.

"Oi, Williamson, hands off!" Katie yelled, leaving Caitlin and Alessia who rolled their eyes as the Irish woman chased down the currently benched blonde captain.

Katie's hands pushed Leah from y/n, the blonde stumbling as Katie wrapped her arms around her lover, pressing a long kiss to her lips as y/n squeaked and turned to face Leah worriedly.

"Katie careful with her!" The dancer chided her girlfriend who rolled her eyes as Leah pouted, leaning into the natural worry the dancer had for her.

"Yeah Katie, careful with me." Leah mocked and the Irish woman scoffed.

"No." Katie chided as y/n tried to move from her arms.

"I wanna help." The dancer whined at her girlfriend. Katie just shrugged and kissed her again, Leah groaning in disgust as she walked off, wanting to go bother someone else.

"Y/n! Your phone's going mental!" Kyra calls from across the pitch, y/n pulls away from the worryingly addictive lips of her girlfriend and looked toward the young girl.

"Yeah, I know darling, just leave it." y/n called, Kyra grinning at her as she followed the rest of her team inside, leaving the two lovers alone on the pitch.

"Social media still going mad over us?" Katie asks her worriedly, her slightly clammy hand coming up to cup her love's cheek as she nodded.

"Yeah, but it will die down eventually." The girl said unbothered.

"You sure you are still okay with us going public?" Katie asks and the dancer giggled.

"Too late to take it back now Katie-bear." She smiled, Katie hushing her use of the nickname which melted her heart.

"Shh, if the girls heard that nickname I would never heard the end of it." Katie tells her and the dancer in her arms laughed, Katie's hands squeezing her waist tighter at the sound which made her heart light.

"Oh yeah, you have to keep up that big bad wolf persona." y/n mocked with a giggle, Katie looking at her offended.

"Excuse me, I am a big bad wolf." Katie defended.

"In your dreams lovie." y/n laughed, but she screeched when Katie threw her over her shoulder, Katie's strong hands holding tight to her thighs as she began to spin in circles.

"Ready to say sorry?" Katie asked, her grin wide at the sound of her lover's giggles.

"Okay, okay I'm sorry." She called, which caused Katie to place her back on her feet, the Irish woman's hands coming to rest on her hips to steady the dizzy girl, who hadn't been able to spot on a place while being spun.

The dancer giggled again and Katie couldn't help but cup her face and pull her in for a kiss, their lips meeting and Katie quickly deepening the kiss.

Katie's arms moved back down to grip the hips of her lover, pulling her closer to her body, y/n's small arms wrapping around Katie's neck, holding tight as she pulled herself up and closer.

Katie's tongue infected her mouth, claiming her as she squeezed her tighter to her body, both of them too caught up in the deep kiss to hear Leah coming to look for them.

Fucking say something! You yelled at yourself internally, but no words were produced from your brain to your mouth. Instead, you just stared in awe at seeing the man you had lusted for so long standing in front of you. No longer just an image on a screen, but a real person. It froze your brain to see him in casual clothes, a drawstring orange hoodie, and black pants. Somehow, he looked even more attractive in these than all the times you had seen him nude.

"Damn, you're even hotter in person you know that," he said as he picked out his own groceries. "What are the odds we live around the same area? Must be your lucky day, hm?" he said, turning to look at you expecting a response.

It might be because Lilia wants Malleus to be independent ofc, 😆but I'm also thinking the term "deserted island" might foreshadow to Sage's Island's demise once that chimera/Grim overblot occurs... It destroyed the entirety of Sage Island which turns it into "a deserted island"... And Malleus, as the strongest mage here, will be the only choice/left alone to fight that *theoretically*.

Plus he even said "even without magic, I'm still powerful" If he'll help us after his overblot for Book 8, then this might mean that Malleus will be up against the chimera with a weakened state (less magic) since he overblotted first before Grim(?).

It was Adrian who first entertained the thought—her recent headaches, irritability, and sensitivity to certain smells. Coupled with her strange food combinations as of late and her delayed bleeding, it pointed to one possibility: she might be pregnant.

She knew his mother was a doctor and his father was a man of science. Both were intellectuals who sired another intellectual. They certainly had taught Adrian a thing or two, and he’d always been her “doctor” so she trusted him. They were both pretty certain, but just to be sure, they went to the village doctor anyway who then confirmed her pregnancy.

The entire time, anyone who didn’t know Adrian would’ve thought him quite nonchalant about it with how cool and composed he was. But as soon as the couple were back home??? he BAWLED for a straight hour. “I… I’m going to be a father?”

He was absolutely petrified. At first, Adrian vacillated between utter terror and unbelievable euphoria. He had no doubt that his s/o will be an excellent mother, but he was absolutely terrified at the thought of fatherhood, especially after doing what he had to do to his own father. He often wondered if he even deserved this. But eventually, he came around til he couldn’t quite contain his excitement!

His eyes are on her all the time. Adrian excitedly comments on how her small bump appears to grow bigger and bigger every day. 🥰 He has a smile on his face whenever he talks about it.

Better believe he will read whatever medical textbook that exists on pregnancy!!! He’s with her through it all, noting any changes every month, making sure everything is going to be okay.

He always talks to the baby. He kneels down and presses his cheek to her belly. He gives plenty of kisses too. At night, he already whispers stories to their little one, and they’re not even out in the world yet. 🥹

One thing is absolutely certain—his baby will want for nothing.

At night, they often cuddle in bed and discuss possible baby names. Adrian doesn’t care what sex the baby will be. He will love them regardless. He cannot wait to teach them all sorts of things.

He already spoils his s/o, but now that she’s pregnant, he is even more doting on her. Whenever he goes to any other room, he asks “Anything you want, darling?” He will get her ANYTHING she asked for if he can help it, no matter the time of day or night. She wants it? She gets it.

He is protective! She hasn’t lifted a single finger since the confirmation of her pregnancy. He simply will not allow it. “I am not fragile, you know,” she’d argue. “I know, darling,” he’d say. “You’re strong, but… just—just let me.” It makes him happy to just be there for her, supporting her all the way. She does all the hard work at this time, after all. In his mind, the best thing he can do at this time is to be there and to take care of the little things for her every step of the way.

Best believe his s/o is eating go grow glow lol. Fruits, vegetables of all sorts, tons of water, no stress, he takes her and their child’s health extremely seriously!

As she goes further along her pregnancy, Adrian is basically glued to her belly, waiting to feel the first kicks.

Most of all, he is extremely proud. As he holds his lover in his arms, swollen with his child, he tearfully marvels at what’s to come. He almost cannot believe the life they created together. He will do everything in his power to protect his little family. Nothing matters more to him than them. 🤍

my feelings on jane and bonnie are nuanced just like my opinion on many of twdg characters. but i love twdg for all its messy fucked up characters :) its fun :) so while i dont hate either of them they definitely still do things that piss me off

in janes case, i think her mentorship/sisterhood with clem came more from her guilt about her sister than actually wanting to have this 11 year old around. so while she would teach clem important survival skills, she was also always quick to leave or act selfishly (clems "i thought you believed in me 🥺" always makes me sad). and this is just solidified by her actions in her S3 flashbacks. i do think she TRIES to work with the group, but she just gets in her own way and is never able to fully integrate, especially since the S2 cast is a fucked up mess in and of itself so its understandable. her actions at the end of S2 are born of pure selfishness, leaving a newborn infant in a random freezing vehicle so she could "show clem what kenny was really like" when clem is WELL AWARE of the thread this madman is hanging on to (having already faced the brunt of his frustrations MULTIPLE times at this point, and is desperate not to lose anyone else). she wanted a fight and she got one. i think maybe she told herself it was about saving clem, but honestly i dont think that was really ever her goal. again i just think a lot of her motivation comes out of the guilt of leaving her sister behind, so she saw clem as a second chance to make things right. but depending on clems actions, she can end up on her own without either of them, and jane can be the sister left behind to die. its interesting to see clem kinda pick up janes personality in the first half of S3 now that shes also at a point where she has no one and trusts no one, and is deep down lonely and longing for community. the difference is clem is not selfish (while still caring about self preservation), and actually likes being able to help people when she can. shes more so just afraid of caring for people again to protect herself from what she sees is the inevitable pain of losing them, as opposed to janes "theyre all just gonna bring you down so you should be on your own instead" outlook. but i definitely saw jane (and luke) as a bigger mentor/big sister(/brother) figure to clem than kenny was to her. jane actually taught her how to take care of herself. kenny was just someone from her past she didnt want to let go of

in bonnies case, she can be really horrible to clem if she listened to luke and stayed back instead of trying to grab him, so i'll literally try to save luke just so i dont have to hear it 😭 but also i like the convo her and clem have on the steps if you tried to save him. its an important character moment for clem, being asked what SHE wants instead of what the people around her want, and that she should start thinking about that, which is formative to the decision she makes (or fails to make) at the rest stop. the way bonnie is initially dismissive of carvers behavior i think is supposed to mirror the way clem can be dismissive of kennys behavior after leaving howes. will they come to see the man they once respected is becoming someone unstable? (i used to be in the "kenny might be going crazy but he'd never hurt clem" camp UNTIL i picked the "lee shouldnt have tried to save me 😔" option in the car and kenny threatened to smack her for it AFTER giving it a moment of hesitation so he KNEW what he was saying there. my jaw was dropped. but kenny is just another interesting flawed character in a game of interesting flawed characters (although they Heavily backtracked on the kenny/carver parallels in the S3 flashbacks. you can make the argument hes happier now but idk he cant come back from the threat for me he MEANT that)). bonnie leaving with mike is fucked but understandable, and she can show real concern after clem gets shot before getting chased off by kenny. i hope her and mike are still out there somewhere i dont hate either of them, even tho it was horrible of them to steal ALL of their supplies when they knew they were leaving TWO children behind. like cmon. but overall i liked bonnie :) shes a bit of a mess but i like her for it

in the end i am a twdg woman character forgiver :) i do love all the fucked up ladies its refreshing let them do dumb shit and make mistakes!!! i love mess :)

Exactly you are right both Rukiyui and Shuyui are my beloved ships and I really really love these ships from the bottom of my heart.

I have a lot of favorite fluff moments for Shuyui and Rukiyui. My favorite Drama CDs are Zero, Bloody Bouquet and Daylight.

I shed tears in the Daylight series. I remember that Yui was afraid of death, but she didn't want to tell Ruki about her fears so as not to annoy him. Ruki hugs her and asks her to cry and tell about her fears because she doesn't have to keep everything to herself anymore. Ruki knows very well that Yui has endured a lot of hardships and does not want her to suffer more and even told her lie that he will continue his life after her death. He decided to follow Yui after her death. This is really beautiful 😢😭🥺💘.

Regarding the games, I feel that Shu had feelings for Yui from the first game, but was afraid to express them. Because after Reiji killed Yui, Shu decided to bring Yui back to life and continue to love Yui despite her blindness. Although this ending was one of the bad endings, it is one of my favorites. I can understand Shu's big love with Yui.

Let's not forget Dark fate. When Shu stood up to Karlheinz and told him I will not let you or anyone else hurt her. He called Yui his family and started a new life with her and Ririe. Do I need to say that Shu has repeatedly said that his life has no meaning without Yui? Yui brought back Shu's sense of vitality and happiness and taught him to love again. We all know that Shu got depressed after Edgar's death and forgot all his feelings. The only one who could return Shu's feelings was Yui.

What should I say about Rukiyui? Even though More Blood wasn't the best, I loved how Ruki called Yui his angel and decided to betray Karlheinz to prove his love to Yui.

In the season of Dark Fate. Oh my god when Ruki read Yui's letter and cried. Let me tell you, Ruki is my type and I know very well how hard it is for us INTJs to cry. People with this type cry when they are really broken. The moment Yui said I miss you, I could hear my and Ruki's heart breaking. At the same time as Ruki, I wanted to cry 💔😭.

As someone who used to be human, Ruki has forgotten his feelings, Yui is the one who can rekindle these feelings in Ruki. Even Ruki who was a spoiled and selfish nobleman. They are truly made for each other.

This moment. I was so proud of them in this moment. Ruki showed how much he cares for Yui and love her.

first off, she's the older sibling

i actually fully wrote out a timeline for this particular one because i felt like i had to get the ages right and stuff sooo lemme just give you this first off and then go over the points

basically, i named the OC "Aeress" because yes. had to keep the "AE" vibe going.

Aeress is 9 when Aedion is born and 14 when Aelin is born

At the age of 21, however, Aeress basically went missing. She was with her family (mom and dad) in the Whitefang mountains when a tribe attacked.

She was determined to be dead after being missing for an entire month

HOWEVER, the real story is that she was captured.

Here's the actual written version:

“When I was in the White Fang Mountains, just a simple vacation if you remember, sidekick, a wild tribe attacked us. Humans, all of them, but some had ice magic. We defended ourselves and the guards got Mother and Father to safety. However, they didn’t notice me getting grabbed and thrown on the back of a horse, bleeding from my calf that’d been cut.

I survived off of them for a good six years, unwilling to brave the valleys and predators without my magic and without any skills of survival. I was untrained and very killable at that moment. I did my best with a sword I stole, but… an untrained arm can only do so much. The mining helped slightly, but not enough.

“Anyway, six years later, humans appeared at my little mountain hideout. These were the humans who created and tested out the current wyverns of the witches’. However, I was still a goddamn idiot, so I got captured. I was a prize for the wyverns and they didn’t even know who I was. But they kept me alive, so I lived like that for a little. 3 years or so, which wasn’t that bad.

“The wyverns were useless for a while, but the humans seemed to not think of me like a slave after a little bit. I was a partner, who helped a little to improve them. Though, I never dared with their dark magic.

“When the witches came, I escaped. And got captured again, by a Blueblood coven. I was pissed, but I was given as a prize to Petrah, the Blueblood Heir. Quite a nice female, actually. She wasn’t as bloodthirsty as the rest. She knew who I was based on scent, I think, but she never told anyone.

“I stayed in her room and one day, she decided to teach me to fight. I learned later it was because of a foolish hope beginning in her heart. Of freedom. Then she taught me to ride wyverns, showing me in secret the beauty of a wyvern. One day, during the day of the games where the covens fought for Wing Leader, I tamed my own wyvern. His name is Ryder. Pitch black, small-sized male who was fast. Perfect for what I needed.

“When the Yellowlegs witches went to Morath, I followed. I blended in quite well, actually. I could pretend to be a servant to the witches and a witch to the humans who knew none the better. When they flew for Adarlan, I escaped. I flew for Terrasen.

“From there, I supported the war as a healer,” I finished. “Took some time to build enough courage to see you, but I wanted to make sure I didn’t compromise your position on the throne, little flame. You deserved to rule. More than I ever did. I know a little about your history as an assassin, and I know you knew how to fight. How to lead, when I heard of your court. And I knew Terrasen was in good hands. I can offer you advice for the finer tuned things of ruling, but leadership was never my forte.” ("you" refers to Aelin)

So basically, that's that. that's how I inputted an older sister into the mix

HOWEVER! Aeress is the exact reflection of Aelin in power. She has majority water (like SUPER powerful) and a tiny bit of flame. Barely a candle light.

This is also where I inputted a very cool concept: the reflection of the powers means that if either of them died, they would've known because the little tiny bit of the power (aelin's water, aeress's fire) would go to the other sister. my previous-self explained it better so here:

“I knew, Aelin. I knew you were alive. I knew because of the goddamn magic in our veins. The small bits of our magic that we can barely use… the water piece you have… if it had come to me, I would’ve known.”

“But magic-”

“That feeling transcends magic being gone,” I cut her off. “It is a deep feeling, of something being lost and gained at the same time. It is rare for any fae to feel, but sometimes, when the magic is reflected, it happens.”

however, some cute things I think you'll appreciate are the NICKNAMES!!

Aeress calls Aelin "little flame" BECAUSE AWWW

And she calls Aedion "sidekick" while he calls her "Queen Bee"

And also like Aeress and Rowan actually get along so well

Aeress is kinda like Aedion in that way and saw Rowan as this powerful ancient fae warrior and is very surprised to find him to be quite chill. she's nervous at first and basically is like "Rowan, if you don't want your mate doing this then just tell me... I'll get away right now-"

but Rowan, at the end of what I actually have written (it is not being finished considering it has no plot XD), basically ends up making them siblings. brother-sister bonds!!

Also Ryder is the cutest wyvern of all time- the one that Aeress gets. pitch black, small, but fast and agile as hell. but he's quite literally a teddy bear. he likes cuddling. he's a ferocious beast who cuddles.

anyway let's stop talking about aelin's sister and get onto ERIS'S TWIN!

Eris's Twin Sister:

I wrote the most for this part, but I have the least amount of worldbuilding for it.

basically, it's a secret twin thing.

please note that "Merle" is the Lady of Autumn!!

“When I was young, I was married off to Beron Vanserra. I was soon pregnant with my first child. But what the healers told me only days before the birth was that there… I had twins. Fraternal twins. They didn’t tell me out of fear before then, but I knew right then and there, that I had to save them. Get them out of the Forest House. Both of them, if I could manage.

“Beron wanted the genders, so I told him one. It was a male. When I gave birth, I kept Beron out for a few days while I recovered. Long enough that he was antsy. I… I gave him the male because he’d wanted a son and winnowed the female to an old friend’s barn and left it, content with wards of warmth and a pacifier.”

Basically, that "old friend" is named Martha and raised Seraphine (OC for THIS one XD. nickname = Sera).

BUT... then Eris kills Beron. And the magic doesn't go to him and he goes on a hunt to find it.

Seraphine, however, has found herself bowled over and now with double the amount of power she had previously.

Now, mind you, she's quite ADHD, so she's not super confident, but she's stubborn as fuck.

Eris promises to help her as much as he can because he's ACTUALLY a good bro and doesn't want to make the same mistake with Sera as he did with his brothers.

Eris helps her get settled in, and Sera manages the court basically by signing random shit and having him help her because surprisingly, their goals align. like making the poor less poor

Sera has a lot of the skills required to be a High Lady, like writing, so luckily, she's quite good at what she's doing.

Eventually, because Sera is very forgetful and disorganized, they get an assistant, an older nanny figure who basically helps manage Sera's day so she doesn't get overwhelmed.

BUT! hehehe... Eris and Sera want an alliance with the Night Court.

The NC doesn't want her to die before their meeting, so they send Az to basically secretly protect her.

however... Azris is canon in this universe. Seraphine gets jump scared by Az because Eris basically wants to make sure that she knows the plan. and that plan is to reveal their mate bond at the meal >:)

Honestly, the NC is pretty chill about Seraphine. Sure, she's nervous, but everyone's pretty chill.

Rhys tries to read her mind one time cus he's suspicious, but they move past it. (Sera can shield her mind well) honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Rhys would be scared in that moment.

Azris revealed... WOOOPEEE.

Anyway, that's basically that besides me quite literally just going off on an Azris spree and writing a wedding/mating bond scene 🤦

I went overboard, but honestly, these might be full-on wips probably never to be posted, but they're so much fun to tell you about.

Been thinking about that cardigan *you know whoch one*. It's so soft and cuddly. So I guess that is the closest we get to the real Mick. Like w/o his demeanor or acting of a womanizer and arrogance behavior. Idk if that even makes sense. But yeah. I'm pretty sure that he would be even a little bit*a lot* insecure when he at some point falls in love. I'm seeing so much longing and big eyes a little bit sad a little bit hope and so much devotion. He would't openly approach them. He would think of some strategic and really comlicated even a long shot plan. Slightly manipulative. and yes, i know which cardigan you're talking about and yes, i agree with you. i loved seeing *that* side of him even if it was short. almost vulnerable, a not often seen side of the usual "mick rawson" persona he keeps up. I mean, they were called for a case in the middle of the night so of course he's gonna be too tired to care 😂 it was sooo soft and I wish we'd gotten more of that look. 🥺

and love the way you profiled the cardigan. you're %100 right about mick being a romantic deep down. like have you seen this man and how much he cares about the people around him, but doesn't openly admit it often? you can see it in the way he treats his teammates, the way he'd do anything for them but he doesn't directly make it obvious.

i feel like there's a little bit of fear in there too. you know the whole "snipers feel invulnerable. they choose to keep people at a safe emotional distance" thing. which is why i also agree with the part you mentioned about seeing so much longing, hope and devotion in his eyes. because yeah, this man would absolutely give it all for the person he loves.

i think that's part of why he keeps up the whole "serial dater" persona instead of settling down for someone or letting anyone get close to him. I feel like he's scared. Helloooo, hope you've had a lovely day ❤ Love your blog and was wondering if you have any tips for what programs to use for creating and editing gifs? Searching on google has lead me nowhere 🥺

Hi! This is so nice, thank you 😭😘

The tools I use are KMPlayer, obtained legally because it's free, whatever online YouTube downloader happens to be functional at the time I'm ripping a video, dubiously legal but relatively available, and Photoshop Portable 2022, obtained totally legally and definitely not via poking around on the internet til something shook loose.

I've tried various image editing softwares for gifs, and honestly the only one that doesn't want to make me julienne my own eyeballs has been PS, but I've also been working with PS on and off for like 20 years, so it's probably familiarity more than anything that sets my preference.

My advice for giffing in general? Go nuts. Go nuts and let nobody stop you. There are a zillion gif tutorials out there, but nothing is as valuable as having a good old crack at it yourself - fail fast, fail forward, as the saying goes (is that a saying? It's certainly said a lot around me.)

When I was first getting started, I generally did static graphics and that kind of taught me everything I know about colouring and layering and texturing and all sorts of wild stuff - evidence of which is still in the depths of my blog if you're willing to go more than 15 pages deep in my edit tag. There's some stuff in there I have no idea how I made, and other stuff in there I wish I'd never posted, but it's all there.

I learned a lot by doing, and sometimes by downloading other peoples' .psds and reverse engineering/butchering their methods. So, in the interest of paying it forward, here's a google drive with a bunch of random .psds' and their corresponding gifs. Feel free to rip 'em to pieces. Drag the psd (usually grouped because I can't not) onto another image or gif of your own and see how it looks. Outright use the entire thing in your own stuff, I don't care - if it helps and you like it, go nuts. If I've ever made anything in particular you and you want to get a look at its insides, let me know and I'll probably be able to either share the .psd or recreate something similar and share that.

I did do the world's most slap-dash gif tutorial a while ago, but it didn't really focus on the basic giffing part. If anyone wants something more in depth/step-by-step, even if it's just one person, I'm more than happy to cobble something together.

As in life, in giffing, I tend to take the spaghetti approach: throw shit at the wall and see what sticks.

Dubiously helpful at best, but I hope something here was useful. Feel free to ask more questions/demand specifics from me, lmao.

😎 I woke up this morning and finished Darkest Knight part two and it was Amazing as always Vulture, really knocked it out of the park! I am a early 2000s kid ( I was born in 2000) so I know and LOVE the X- man movies( even if the timelines of those things are a massive mess) so it was fantastic reading out some of the classic scenes play out ( and Hugh Jackman - don’t know if I spelled his name right - was BORN to play that role ) . I am also not joking when I say that I thought and saw the whole thing playing out in the X - mansion in the lens of that movie in my head but didn’t say anything because I didn’t know if that was what you were going for.

I loved all the cute little interactions between R and Nat. It also seems to me that Nat might be catching some feelings for our dear Wolvie . And that little scene where R and Jean see each other again for the first time in a while, do I detect a hit of jealousy from one Miss Natalia Alinanovna Romanova ? Scott is still a dick as always, but I wonder how did he ( or anyone else in the manor for that matter know about the RR , I would think anyone there would think that Nat is a Mutant in trouble) ? Also R scolding themselves for scaring Nat 🥺🥺🥺. Nat picking out the flannel shirt that matches R eyes and the little blush afterwards ( quick question, is R actually Color Blind? Because that statistically happens in men more then Women. Not finding fault , just wanting some clarification. ) is so stinking cute!!!!!

The RR was presented as the basically the worlds worst boarding school in the Age of Ultron flashbacks, in the Peggy Carter series ( I don’t know about the comics because I don’t read them , I just have access to google and wiki) before they launched the RR into the sky in BW. At least that is how the “ class” stage is presented and we have no idea what the RR looks like for the “ graduated” widows. So I wonder how Nat is reacting to leaving one “ boarding school” and walking into another one , especially when she sees the “ other half” of the school, where students are taught and trained to control their abilities.

I loved seeing some of my ideas and contributions making it’s way into the story even if it wasn’t in a way that I expected . And all of my head canons about the truck is shot down now because I didn’t know that they were going to leave it behind. 😭😭😭 ( in all seriousness it’s cool , I am just joking) . But since they are in the school Nat can stumble upon the “ questionable” YouTube channel from one of the kids on their phone. Nat can stumble upon the Hudson’s wartime nurses, R’s time in the wars and all the documentaries and specials from history class ( I have more thoughts on this but will put it in a separate post so this one isn’t too long).

This is the last bit of this post. Speaking of classes and the school I can’t wait to see R and Rouge reunite ( because you can’t convince me otherwise that Rouge wasn’t Wolverines adopted kid . In the movies and the early 2000s cartoon was that way . I don’t know about the comics and original cartoon, but I do know that in those things Rogue was in her 20s. The girl was a grown ass woman and she had a on again off again type thing with Gambit.) . R having the same reaction as Movie Wolverine to ice man ( a dad who has a teenage daughter and someone is sniffing around his daughter) and refusing to call him anything but junior. Rogue has the reaction of a kid who’s single parent who brings a potential partner home will looking at Nat . So while R has her “ dad” stand off with Ice man sizing him up , Rogue is having her “kid” stand off with Nat sizing Nat up. Both just kinda stares daggers at their respective opponents and both Ice man and Nat are just like 😨😓👀 “ Hahahaha ! I am in danger!”

All the kids at the school absolutely love R and she is one of the favorite teachers/ staff at the school . No one likes Scott because he is a dick ( like seriously man you didn’t have to disrespect Nat like that, I get that you might have some security concerns but do that in private and not RIGHT IN FRONT of the poor girl) .

Also please tell me that Nat picked the pocket knife back up and didn’t just leave it in the unconscious widow ( side note I wonder who that widow was) ? OH SHIT !!!!!! I just realized that Nat probably has a tracker in her ( like as seen in BW) and that is why the widow was able to find them in the mall . NOW Nat is at the school!!!!

Hugh Jackman is ❤️ and Wolverine has always been my favorite superhero, so it was only a matter of time before I wrote a Wolverine-inspired!R for this fandom. :) And yep! I pictured the OG X-Mansion from the first X-Men trilogy as well, but of course you are welcome to use your own imagination.

Glad you caught on to that. :) Nat is definitely starting to pick up on affection for her friend. And yes you did! No spoilers now, but Jean and R definitely have some history, which of course Scott is very familiar with and unhappy about lol.

It wasn't stated in the fic, but R basically told the X-Men in an unseen text/call that Nat escaped the Red Room and that's why she needs their help. So that's how Scott knows where Nat is from, but he could've been more subtle about it. Also, this R is not colorblind! (How else would she pick out the redheads? 😂) But the flannel shirt thing was just supposed to be a cute moment, and more implies that R is very bad at choosing her own clothing, so she looks better when someone helps her. :)

That's a good point about the Red Room! I know R is excited to show Nat what the school really has to offer, but she might have to be careful so she doesn't trigger anything.

I know, I'm so sorry about your brilliant truck headcanon. 😭 I had already written the part where they ditched it when we were discussing it on here, and it was too late to go back and make the switch lol.

You are in luck, @mostlymarvelsstuff has already talked me into including a scene with Rogue and R in Part 3. :) But I definitely want to base their relationship more off what we had in the movies, like a parent-daughter relationship. And Nat just seeing R interact with the younger kids in general will be a very heart-warming experience for her. :)

Hmm...Perhaps Nat would have picked it back up, the pocket knife is very sentimental to her now. And I based the Widow off the same one who hunts Nat and Yelena in Budapest (and dies when she falls off that pillar)...Not sure if she had a name though.

The tracker thing 👀 I won't lie, that wasn't exactly what I had in mind but it's a good guess.
