Yup! The Alpha timeline offers a novel solution to the problem of Sylladex capacity. If the Captcha index only needs to be consistent in the Alpha timeline, then it doesn't have to worry about reserving index space for every possible item.

If this is how things work, then the Sylladex isn't predestined, per se - it's enforced. Everyone has a finite set of objects that they're allowed to captchalogue, and if you pick up anything else, your index is invalidated - and your timeline is pruned.

You could still call it predestination, if you were so inclined, but that's only partially accurate. It's more that you're coerced into 'choosing' one particular destination - or else.

I'm loving these voice headcanons. Scratch as Emperor Belos is inspired.

I'd always imagined Equius as being pretty tall. They're all the same height in sprite art though, so I think it's another case of sprite art being non-representative.

I'm withholding judgement on the Meowrails until we get more interactions between them. Their early conversations were a little worrying, but it's possible that Hussie hadn't fully fleshed out the concept of Moirallegiance at the time. We'll see how they interact now that how their quadrant works has been expanded on.

Still, it would have made more sense for him to be in a line with the other Players - his Chumhandle doesn't match theirs, either, so maybe John's just a weird case.

Thank you! I feel like this sort of analysis can only really be applied to fictional characters, though. Everything a character says or does is the result of a deliberate choice made by a writer, and I can use my knowledge of that fact to frame my analysis.

In real life, though, people just say shit - often for no reason, or for reasons they don't understand themselves. People are a lot more complicated than even the most well-written character, and understanding them requires a whole different skillset!

Someone also posted Hussie's author comment about this. It's been years since I watched the movie - and if I recall correctly, it was also pretty meta itself. Maybe I need to watch it again, as reading material for Homestuck.

The language used here - the fact that she couldn't 'put up' with her transformation into a frog, and couldn't 'hang in there' - seems to imply that doing so harms her in some way.

All the frog symbolism is still a closed book to me. What exactly does Bilious Slick represent or symbolize that Derse hates so much?

If she can't, she's definitely phrasing things in a misleading way, trying to imply that she can. The Tavros scene is arguable, but I really can't think of any other way to interpret how she talks about the Consorts, unless she's straight up lying - and she really doesn't do that much.

"Because, you spend all day in that lab, you deserve a little fun." He said grabbing his drink. "If you say so." You sighed swirling your glass. "Come on, go mingle." He said nudging your arm. Your eyes scanned the room, looking for the only person you wanted to talk to. He said sternly. "Ha ha yeah ok." You rolled your eyes. "Y/n.." he started before he looked to the other side of the room. "I...uh have to go....I forgot I have to.....polish my shield. Can't fight for patriotism with a dirty shield." He saluted running off. "That was weird." You said sipping your drink. You sat there a bit longer, turning to scan the room. You saw Steve talking with Tony and Bruce, Natasha and Wanda were sitting on one of the sofas as you spotted Thor and Loki sitting on the other. You sighed, finishing your drink you pushed yourself up heading for the elevators.

"Hey kid, leaving so soon." You heard Tony ask. "Yeah, I'm gonna head out. Oh, Steve how's your shield?" You smiled remembering your conversation. "What do you mean? It's fine." He said furrowing his eyebrows. "You said you needed to polish it, remember?" You asked. "When did I say that?" He asked "earlier, when you were at the bar, you said...." you stopped as realization hit you, that wasn't Steve. "Will you excuse me please." You said leaving Tony and Steve.

You headed for the sofas, but Loki was gone. You scanned the room, standing on your toes searching through the sea of people when your eyes spotted his raven hair, ducking between people heading for the elevators. "Oh no you dont." You said as you pushed past everyone heading for the hall. You came out right in front of the hallway, not seeing Loki come out when you turned towards the elevator, seeing him in his black suit, frantically hitting the elevator button. You strode down the hall, determined to catch him before it arrived.

"Loki.." you said coming up behind him. You saw him freeze before turning around, offering you a huge smile. "Y/n, hello. How are you?" He asked. "Cut the crap, I know it was you." You said poking him in the chest. His smile fell slightly as he looked at you "I apologize for my deception y/n, but I needed to know." He said fidgeting with his hands. "Needed to know what?" You asked crossing your arms. "How you felt about me." He said, putting his hands in his pockets. "What, so you can mock me, tease me, tell everyone how pathetic I am?" You said beginning to pace the hallway. "Absolutely not, that is not why I wanted to know." He said stepping forward. "Then why Loki? Why would you humilate me? trick me into admitting I love you!" You yelled, slapping your hand over your mouth realizing what you said.

Loki stepped forward, staring into your eyes as the elevator dinged. "Nevermind, I'm going. Good night Loki." You said, feeling your eyes tear up as you stormed into the elevator, frantically pressing the button, watching Loki stand there staring at you as the doors closed. "God I'm such an idiot." You sighed to yourself as you reached the ground floor, heading to your car. You fiddled with your keys as you heard footsteps behind you "y/n, please wait." You heard. "Loki, I don't want to talk about it." You sighed turning around, not realizing how close he was.

"The reason I wanted to know how you felt about me, was to see of my feelings were reciprocated." He said bringing his hand up, cupping your cheek. "Wait, what?" You asked as he smiled. "I have longed for you for sometime, your the only reason I go to that dingy lab." He said sliding his hand to your neck. "Why didn't you just ask me?" You said looking at him. "I was...afraid I may have been wrong." He sighed looking into your eyes. "Y/n, would you allow me to court you?" He asked grabbing your hand with his free one. "You, want to court.....me?" You asked staring at him. "If you'll have me, yes." He said stepping closer, his nose inches from yours. "Umm...I'd like that very much Loki." You said smiling.

You saw his eyes flicker to your lips and back, as he closed the distance, pressing his lips softly on yours. You turned your head, deepening the kiss, running your along his bottom lip, sliding your tongue in as he parted his lips. He moaned into your mouth as your fingers laced through his hair, slightly tugging. Pulling apart for air you looked into eachothers eyes "so, wanna come sit on my couch with me?" You asked "I would love nothing more." He said, pecking your lips climbing in the car. "Oh, and you really need to work on your impression of Steve, I thought he went crazy." You laughed starting your car. "Noted." He said laughing.

Rewatching s3 because I promised to watch alonside with my reactions as well. They may be similar to others bc I may have had a similar interpretation.

Im on Fireflies (ep.3) and I forgot how wholesome it kinda starts out with the two little kids. So smol!! The boy is wearing a red sleeved shirt, red like how scott was first bitten where he wore the red jacket. But Scott is wearing a similar shirt to the boy. And the lil girl has a jacket (i love clothes) and I cant help but think that tiniest detail says Scott sees them in himself and that they were almost going to suffer the same fate like him (with Peter), but worse, because they would remain human. (Clothes association with the pilot.) It was REALLY a close call!! Im srsly wondering how they are outside in the woods too.

Their fear is SO palpable. Theyre legit scarred and no one is gonna believe them.

I did start this episode rather than Tattoo. Because Boyd here. But ALSO.

The episode starts with the concept of this jar full of fireflies, right? One of the meanings of this is "the smallest most simple things in life matter the most." Which is also, what I believe Scott believes in too. Maybe it was taken away but this is why he still tries to play lacrosse and ofc save the small children. He doesnt know them and yet he will go backwards for them bc they mean something. Aka he cares about life and I admire that about him. The lil girl says something about having to let the fireflies go after catching them or else they will die. Only for a lil later for scott to release them 🥺 in order to distract boyd. And I agree its def Scott being this represention for balance. Imagine how glad Boyd might be for not going thru with it bc scott got there in time? Ofc maybe or maybe not he didnt know it was Scott who saved them? Derek doesnt know about this. But he doesnt exactly need to, but bc he boyd is apart of the pack, if this really bothers Boyd, then I will be more than happy to see him talking about this with scott and derek.

This episode is such a grand opening for understanding the importance of balance but also the start of, what if that balance is broken?

I got sooooo excited when I heard scott over the phone 😁😁🥰🥰🥰🥰 he is so clever and sweet and cool. Dude Im only three minutes in and im so hung up on this!

HELLO! I'm fighting a cold and I'm being SO brave about it. *sniffs* And some idiot cut the wires of the internet in our street but it's up and running again and I'm so so glad. It's weird being without internet. ANYWAY thank you for sending these! 😁

1. Nicknames! Weirdly, I kinda like the idea of Ian not having nicknames for Mickey. Mickey has more than plenty for him, so maybe that's his thing. Ian brings out 'Mick' only on special occasions, or as a way for Mickey to know that he's serious. He used 'babe' once on the show but it somehow felt out of character, I can't see that being a regular thing.

2. Tattoos! I think Mickey got them done young, maybe at 13, to impress his dad and brothers. Afterwards Terry said he's 'a man now' even though he was literally just a kid. Now they're just a reminder of his old life.

I LOVE the idea of Ian surprising Mickey with an ass tattoo. Mickey doesn't get it. "Why your ass man? You're a top." But Ian justifies it by saying his ass belongs to Mickey now, and no one else. 🥺

3. Turn-ons! Mickey definitely has a uniform kink. Loves seeing Ian in his paramedic outfit, or that heavy gear that they wore for the security gig. He'll say shit like, "step on me with those boots", which puzzles Ian. "Wouldn't that hurt?!" He still wears the uniform, but he's not stepping on anyone. The boots can stay on though.

Mickey's got something soppy like MrMilkovichGalagher while Ian's using IanGalagher because Gallagher was already taken (Mickey just used one L as a reference to his tattoo, or so he says. Ian's not entirely convinced he simply forgot how to spell again)

5. Pets! ONE OF EACH PLEASE 🥺 Mickey gets a badass dog he dotes on. He thinks it'll scare people off but he's never been stopped in the street more often. Everyone wants to pet the cute doggie.

Ian meanwhile gets a cat, a scruffy little thing, which crawls onto his lap in the evenings and is allowed to stay there, no matter how much Mickey protests that his lap is for him only.

My even deeper theory is that Mickey is most like a cat (doesn't wanna be cuddled but secretly does, doesn't do as told, scratchy) and Ian is like a dog (loyal, friendly, enjoys runs, will go through a fire for the right person) which is why they get pets representing the other 🥺

Doesn’t understand the sips tea memes whatsoever.

Also constantly googling slang and text abbreviations because boy gets confused and is too shy to ask. Ngl?

Sends you things he knows will make you smile/happy. Cute animal pictures, funny articles, songs from YouTube. He’s all about making you smile.

Best person for good morning texts. Often used a heart emoji with a kiss or a pet name for you. He always manages to be up before you to send the text first, just so you have it to wake up to.

Constantly trying to get involved in the group chat, but sometimes has no idea what’s going on. So he ends up posting a ‘lol’ or a laughing emoji, but honestly he’s gonna have to try and pay attention to find out how to say something more relevant.

Gushes over you whenever you send him a photo of yourself. Plenty of heart emojis and kissy faces. Each time you send him a new picture he likes he immediately sets it to your contact photo and his lock screen.

Kaminari

Kaminari can never just send one text. He’s the type of texter that will send a few words per text to tell a story. So when you check your phone you have 20 messages which could have been condensed to one or two.

Sometimes if you’ve started replying to him he’ll still be texting you so your phone will keep vibrating and showing the message notifications. Like “are you done babe?”

If he’s been waiting what he deems a long time for a response he’ll just start texting you again. Helloooooo? Oi! Are you there????

Some days you end up communicating with him through memes and gif reactions. No words. Literally, just memes. The worst thing is you can both hold a proper conversation doing this.

“MRJDBFJDNFIFIDHEHRUDNHHJFFJJF” is a MOOD for Kaminari. Keyboard smashes a lot.

Kaminari is the reason that everyone has had to turn off ‘Auto-Save to Camera Roll’ in the group chat because he sends so many memes.

You find yourself having to constantly clear the chat because it fills your phone memory up with nonsense.

Only person that’s actually been kicked out of the group chat.

He usually either creates another one and adds everyone back in, or messages everyone individually begging to be put back in. Saying he won’t post as much anymore. Lies~

Whenever you send him a cute selfie he always has the perfect gif reaction ready. Normally it’s something suggestive and flirty but he always pairs it with a comment on how beautiful he thinks you look.

Sometimes you both find yourselves just sending photos of each other back and forth, sometimes he edits his with a terrible paint drawing or phrase. Or he edits yours and sends them back with hearts all over them or cute nicknames.

Not only does he communicate through memes, he’s God-Tier at using emojis too. Most of his texts have some sort of emoji incorporated and he uses the most random emojis that most people never ever use or ever think to use because he knows the exact perfect timing for them. That’s why his frequently used emojis is constantly changing.

Late texter. Kaminari will be up at all hours texting, has a hard time putting his phone down sometimes so even if you text him at like 4am he’ll be ready to text back.

Shinsou

It takes him ageeeees to send a text! You know when you see the tree dots appear and he’s typing a response.. then they disappear. So you think about double texting him and just as you go to do so the dots appear again and he’s typing.

The best guy at keeping conversations going though. Like if the text conversation just kinda stops and you’re not sure what to say next, Shinsou will come up with something. He nervously watches the screen for you to respond, but is glad whenever you do!

Honestly Shinsou prefers phone calls to texts because you can actually hear someone’s tone and what they’re saying. Shinsou can’t tell if someone is being sarcastic over text.

Gets so annoyed at auto-correct but hasn’t worked out how to turn it off on his phone. It’s left him in so many awkward situations and honestly, who would say ‘duck’ instead of ‘fuck’ really???

Isn’t one for sending too many memes. Occasionally he’ll find a few that he thinks you’ll enjoy but mainly he sends news articles and interesting links he’s found online that he thinks you’ll appreciate. Most of them wild stories that he knows will make you smile.

Barely any emojis. With the way Shinsou texts you’d think he’s mad or upset half the time, really serious texter. Uses punctuation and never adds any kisses or emojis at the end of statements so you’re not always sure of his tone through the text.

His most overused emoji is the thumbs up emoji. Used it instead of words a loooot.

Keeps deleting WhatsApp because he gets really annoyed at repeatedly being added to the group chat even after he’s left.

Gets really excited whenever you send him a selfie or a cute picture of yourself. Immediately saves it to the album he’s made just for you and even though his response is void of any emojis he still finds a way to make butterflies erupt inside you with his compliments. Always something different, whether it’s about your hair, your eyes. He notices every little thing.

AWFUL at remembering to charge his phone, so sometimes it dies completely and he doesn’t even rush to try and find a charger. It means sometimes you have to wait ages for a reply.

Kirishima

Messy texter. One day he’ll be using full words and sentences and other days it’s all chat speak. If Kirishima was kidnapped and someone stole his phone you’d never know because the boy is so inconsistent with his texting.

Never corrects his spelling mistakes or errors, doesn’t even notice them half the time so sometimes you’ve gotta work our what the hell he means…

He does, however, use a tonne of emojis. For everything. Sometimes he’ll substitute words for emojis so it’s almost like you’re playing Pictionary with him.

He’s good at responding to your texts though! Doesn’t leave you on read that often.

So many flirty memes, usually ones with terrible chat up lines that you know he’s been sent by Kaminari, just because when he sees them he immediately thinks of you.

Also really sweet throughout texting. Always calling you pet names like ‘baby’ or ‘love’. Little things to brighten your day.

Ask this boy for a selfie and he will always comply. Always.

“Eiji- can you take another one, but with your shirt off” and not even three minutes later there will be a picture in your inbox of exactly what you asked for-

When you send him selfies he gets so over-excited. Doesn’t even say words for the next 3 texts, it’s usually just a slew of emojis or gifs with heart eyes.

Always giving you opinions on which ones he thinks you should upload to social media. “That one. Actually number 3. No, the last one. Why don’t you just upload them all baby you look so good😍💕🥰🥵🥴”

Extremely vocal in the group chat. Sometimes he isn’t sure what’s going on because the chat moves so fast and there’s now 50+ messages to catch up on but he’ll try and get involved in the conversation anyway and hop in at any time.

Tendency to fall asleep while texting so you’ll know if he’s stopped texting you randomly that he’s usually dozed off. Always super apologetic about it when he wakes up.
