Loki s2e5 Thoughts & Feelings (Spoilers)
THE INTRO LOSING THE LETTERS!! I'm a sucker for when an intro is slightly changed. And in the end credits when the lines and type get all wonky! I love it.
Ok I have a question. When Loki finds everyone, they are all on branched timelines, not the Sacred Timeline. So doesn't that mean the lives on these branches could be slightly different or totally different than their original lives on the Sacred Timeline? Sylvie says they're back in their "real lives", but is that even true? 🤔 Also, I know people are theorizing that Don's wife was dusted during the snap, but technically in this branched timeline, the snap might not have happened.
B-15 being a doctor was so good 🥺 "I looked happy." Yes, you did... I just noticed her name on the captions was "Dr. Willis!"
Don!Mobius said he'd seen Loki in the shop before, did Loki timeslip there and not remember it? Or... has that not happened yet?

Remember, this Loki is a "cosmetic mistake." He isn't supposed to exist. Mobius saved him from being reset. Without the TVA, without Mobius... he has no reason to exist... no glorious purpose. But he was still willing to let them all go to do the right thing 🥲🥲🥲

"I can rewrite the story." YES YOU CAN KING!! And my immediate reaction was "Loki, God of Stories"! At first I thought Loki and Sylvie were going to run the TVA together, but now I feel like it might be Loki alone (with Mobius' help of course), managing all the timelines... writing the story.
THAT ENDING!!!! I'M SO READY BUT NOT READY FOR NEXT WEEK!!! I can't believe we're at the end.... I'M SO SCARED! 😭

It's safe to say I am losing my mind over the new animated intro. There's something so satisfying abt seeing these characters I love so much animated in such a truly beautiful way and all the little moments had me gushing over them even more.
That being said i just HAD to make a little scene by scene 'review' of everything on 0.25 speed.
(I didn't want to go over tumblr's stupid number of images rule and there was so much I know i've missed some stuff so you're welcome to reblog with your favorite moments if i missed them, I tried to narrow it down as much as i could and even then this is still gonna have 2-3 parts for sure.)
My Scene-by-Scene of the new intro (part 1)
- We start off with the legend himself, had to put this in bc I love seeing how they honor matt in things like this and it's always fun to find his little cameos + we get to have a look at some of his amazing npcs
- starting off with some allies, Xandis and Ira, who both look just as cool as I imagined
- i love NK's whole design, he looks real svelte + his little shark teeth freak me out which is great
- Xandis is real hot surprising no one... i want them back 🥺
- We get into the villains now with Otohan, Lilliana and Ludy boy
- I love that lud gets like, half a second screentime, he'd be APALLED
- otohan and lilliana!!!!! (Kinda want them to step on me but be nice to bells hells pls)
- writing this i sort of realize that i'm 1000% more scared of otohan than lulu which is kind of funny but also totally justified since the last time we saw her it was like- the worst day of my life
- this made me tear up!!
- get all your tissues girlies we're crying in the club
- ITS WILL 😢😢 and DERRIG!!! 😭😭😭

The WIP Questionaire
Thanks so so much from @verba-writing for the tag! I had such a fun time reading your answers too and I'm very excited for paranormal romance 😍
I feel like I wanna flag that a lot of my answers are very anime/gaming-sphere oriented and I hope I'm not totally alienating my mutuals by revealing just HOW MUCH I'm not a book person lololol But this is with what we're working:
The Questions are:
1. What was the first part of your wip that you created?
The very first thing I made was the high premise: It was synthesized from the Overly Sarcastic Productions question "What if all the Kings Under the Mountain came back...?" and then I added the context "...in a Nuclear Crisis to discuss piece?" And in my head, it was this HBO-style modern fantasy Game of Thrones meets West Wing type deal. But then... I didn't want to write the modern piece. (The modern piece should be written by people in countries from all over Europe about what it means to be a hero in various cultures.)
So I set it in 1800s fantasy world instead!
2. If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?
The first arc would be Dance in the Game by Zaq
The second arc would be Lacrimosa by Kalafina
The Gods' Arc would be Paper Boquet by Mili
3. Who are your favourite characters you've made? Why?
Is it to cliché to be like "my current self-insert protagonist is my favorite character I've ever made"? Her and my antagonist are just THE BEST and I love them.
4. What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?
Mmm, I think Untitled Yssaia Game's story would appeal to queer Game of Thrones fans who could FEEL the straightness in GoT, especially if they also like anime. I would hope I could get general anime fans as well as Arcane and Genshin Impact fans, but I feel like those are too mainstream and Yssaia is not. Realistically, I think I'm gonna get the Wadanohara people and the Ib people and, if I get really lucky, the To the Moon people.
5. What has been your biggest struggle with your wip?
Marketing lol -- explaining what it is to people in a way that they realize they want it.
6. Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!
Fuafua 🥺🥺🥺
Look at her! She is a six-legged, six-eyed slug cat called a Maret. Marets fill the same role as ocelots in Yssaia, except they're more semi-aquatic like otters and their skin has a stressball-like texture.
7. How do your characters get around? (ex: trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)
They walk or ride Rumateurs (which are alpaca-like beings with ossicones) or take ships or airships or trains. I don't like writing about travel that much though so it is a background element.
8. What part of your wip are you working on rn?
I am pre-editing the first arc for my alpha readers and the third arc has another 50k to 100k words to draft. We're at like 250k words total right now and it is so unwieldy 😭😭😭
9. What aspects (tropes, maybe?) of your wip do you think will draw people in?
Oh, I have a convenient graphic for this. Hang on...
10. What are your hopes for your wip?
I was just diatribing about this earlier but the DREAM is to turn it into an RPGmaker adventure game and have it go viral and make a million bucks off it. I'd love to be the next Undertale but it'll never happen because I am not positioned to be the next Undertale, you know?

TBB S2 EP 11: Metamorphosis
right from the get go already looks like cliché horror film intro (this initially made me dislike the ep, mainly bc we have too many bad horror films playing at the cinema where I work rn, but dw I came around)
the music was actually chillingly different than usually and continued into the scene in which Dr. Hamlock was introduced. I liked that, but in a bad way
the closeup on his hand confirms that the Zillo Beast ate it, no this is not up for discussion, Zillo Beast had himself a treat

"Whatever did this wasn't human." <- I find that an interesting sentence, considering this is Star Wars. If this was a show that took place on earth, somewhere where it was unlikely for an animal to be, that line would've been chilling. In Star Wars? Not so much. Humans are only one of many species in that galaxy and while I do believe that clones = humans, via star wars lore, that doesn't apply. Clones are classified as their own species, meaning technically they aren't human. I'm probably over thinking this but whatever, the line struck me as oddly placed
"By yourself?" "Your concern is not warranted. I will be fine." <- ok, Tech ik you got the whole cool, logical, I-know-what-I'm-doing-vibe going on, but I gotta tell you, the person who says that in horror films dies first.

The second we first saw it I realised it was the Zillo. I've been wondering when/if it would ever come up again, since the Chancellor did order for it to be cloned when the og episodes aired and then we never saw it again, so the arc felt incomplete.
BUT I LOVED THE ZILLO BEAST ARC SO THIS MADE ME V HAPPY AND V SCARED AND I KNOW IT'S NOT CANON BUT CAN THE ZILLO BEAST PLS GO EAT PALPATINE NOW??? IT DESERVES A TREAT!!!!

Hello! My name is Sunny☀️ and I use she/her/they/them pronouns. I am a pokemon trainer and and and up and coming coordinator living in Hoenn. I'll mostly post my stuff about the hoenn league, pokemon contests, pokemon or just some random stuff.

I have been living in Hoenn for my entire life here so if you have any questions about the region you can ask me! The history, culture, pokemon that lives there anything!👍
I was a huge fan of watching pokemon contests on tv and admired the coordinators performing on stage so that's what inspired me to become a coordinator.

My team
My mom was a pokemon rescuer and she would adopt them when I was little so my childhood was involved with a lot of pokemon and basically loved pokemon ever since I was a little baby :) Some of the pokemon I had were given to me on my birthdays and some of them I caught in the wild when I was 10 thanks to my dad teaching me (he's a pokemon professor btw). Thanks mom and dad!
But anyways here's my team!
Phoenix the Blaziken ♂️
Move set: Flamethrower, Blaze Kick, Stone edge, Thunder punch
I had Phoenix ever since he was a little pokemon egg. My mom rescued the egg from a forest fire and knew when the egg hatched it wouldn't be able to survive because the eviorment got destroyed and couldn't find it's mother so she brought it home and later hatched into a Torchic. Me and Phoenix are really close and he helped me a lot during the gym challenges. He sometimes acts like a older brother figure to the rest of my team and is really nice, patient and smart!
Siren the Milotic ♀️
Moveset: Hydro Pump, Bubble Beam, Disarming Voice, Aqua Ring
I got Siren from a pokemon breeding center after I got my first gym badge. She's quite shy but loves it when I groom her. She also hates it when she get's dirty but is sweet nonetheless.
Cloudy the Altaria ♂️
Moveset: Mist, Dazzling Gleam, Dragon pulse, Draco Meteor
Cloudy was a present I got from my mom when I was 9 years old. He was a swablu at the time. He's really energetic and loves to play so he's really productive. But sometimes he can be gremlin and loves to bother my other pokemon just for fun.
Aurora the Gardevoir ♀️
Moveset: Prismatic Laser, Energy Ball, Physic, Light Screen
I caught Aurora when she was a Kirlia back when I was on my way to the 3rd gym. I managed to complete the gym in one sweep thanks to her. (She's one tough cookie!). Aurora acts like a older sister to my team so she gets along with them very well. But she doesn't tolerate Cloudy's antics and scolds whenever he does something stupid.
Apollo the Absol ♂️
Moveset: Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Ice Beam, Swords Dance
Apollo was another pokemon I got from mom as a present on my 11th birthday. I always gushed about having an absol because I thought they were so cool. I didn't know what to name him so my dad recommended the name Apollo. Apollo also helped me a lot on my gym challenges so I'm really grateful for that. I knew that Absol's dislike fighting so I only used him if my other pokemon had fainted and he was the only one left and mostly use him for contests. Apollo is a bit more reclusive than Siren but still he's nice!
Angel the Sylveon ♀️
Moveset: Fairy Wind, Attract, Swift, Moon Blast
Last but not least Angel! I got Angel when she was an eevee. Poor thing was bullied by a bunch of mightyena so I drove the pack away with Phoenix and Aurora. I guess I got my 'helping pokemon' genes from my mom. Since then she started to follow me everywhere and I didn't wanted to leave the cute thing alone so I decided to catch her! Since then I have been taking of her with proper care, love and attention and then she evolved into sylveon and gotten much stronger. Like her name suggests she is a huge sweetheart and loves to be productive❤

Re-watching and re-evaluating "M:I - Dead Reckoning (Part One)"
A long, long time ago, somewhere in the Internet ether, I had promised to review this movie. well here it is if anyone still cares
Still think the introductory scene in the submarine was a bit long, but it didn't feel as long as it did the first time when I was foaming at the mouth to see Tom and only Tom for the first time in a new movie in the theater
Definitely a lot of exposition in the first Cary Elwes/Kittridge/etc. scene, but the information was necessary for the most part. Just very funky and unnatural how they divided the dialogue amongst everyone and they were finishing each other's sentences, like people Do Not talk like that
Also did anyone else think it was weird how long it was until the intro credits montage too? Idk maybe that's my personal artistic choice talking. Either way it was a super neat montage and I loved it, regardless of when it occurred; I was just afraid the first time I saw it that we weren't going to get one 👀👀👀
The whole end-of-days AI thing is definitely way too relevant and 1) stresses me out v badly, but also 2) Tom Cruise gives me hope that maybe we will eventually defeat it, even if it's not by he himself punching it to death 🤞🏻💖
Best comprehensive soundtrack of the franchise; the only one that has actually stuck out in my mind and I can remember at all and has stirred up genuine emotion in me
The Rome car chase safely occupies the spot as the best one I've ever seen, and you can tell the difference with how they used real sets and props vs. just wall-to-wall greenscreen 😖 I also love how the hijinks with like, the handcuffs and the seat-switching feel like smth out of an older spy comedy movie?? Vintage vibes ✨🤌🏻
If Tom Cruise could just casually stand with me protectively like that for a while and shield me from the w o r l d I think it might fix me 🥺🥲
The way Grace drives is a glimpse into what it feels like for me every time I get on the road

Didn't think I was going to like Hayley Atwell at all before seeing the movie bc I tend not to like the way female action movie characters are written and I am a simp for Ilsa if you couldn't tell, but I ended up really enjoying her
Gabriel showed a lot of promise as a cool villain in the beginning when he was all mysterious, but ultimately there wasn't anything memorable about him for me. Only one who's earned that reward to date in M:I is Philip Seymour Hoffman, but maybe if/when we learn more about his backstory/motivation; hope is still alive for now
They've got Grace dressed like a fkin pirate there in Venice. And Pom is giving absolute "Black Parade" realness
ILSA MY SWEET LITTLE BABY SHE DIED ALL ALONE AND THEY DON'T EVEN SHOW ANYONE CRYING OVER HER DEATH EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS SUCH A SO-CALLED CLOSE FRIEND AND ALLY AND *DEF MORE* TO ETHAN AND IT'S JUST SO FUCKING WEIRD AND WRONG I ALMOST WISH THEY'D JUST QUIETLY WRITTEN HER OUT AFTER FALLOUT
Like kill her off if Rebecca wants to engage in other projects but give the character a proper send-off if you must. But fr, I agree with everyone's critique that she was such a welcome departure and sign of progress from the completely-interchangeable-female-action-character-who's-only-there-to-provide-new-and-different-eye-candy-every-time, and then right after she's really established and gelled with everyone they kill her off and switch her out in the team with another brunette female IN THE VERY NEXT SCENE BEFORE HER BODY IS EVEN COLD IN THE GRAVE
Yes. I understand that it's an action movie and, within the high-stakes confines of the plot, time for mourning is limited. Yes I understand that the other characters have witnessed many other deaths before. But the fact is that her character was special and different, to the characters and to us, and the filmmakers could have done it better. Ok, main gripe of the movie over 😔
Not sure if it's a plot hole or I just don't understand technology, but couldn't the Entity have messed with the computer in Benji's car when he puts it in self-drive while trying to help Ethan board the train...? 🤨🤨
Yep the Train Scene was just as brilliant and utterly harrowing as I remembered; most stressful viewing experience of me life 🥲😭
And, as much of a stretch as it was, I am a sucker indeed still for the part where Pom saves their lives 🥺 and now I kinda hope she lives and sticks around and has a badass, dare I say heroic moment or two in the future
Overall, despite my number of gripes, it still goes down as my favorite movie in the franchise overall 💖 the perfect proportions of comedy and drama, so many iconic and likable characters, and plenty of the unparalleled action sequences we've come to expect but even better than any we've seen before, and I am chomping at the bit for Part Two to eventually, someday, please please please come out thank you and see you at the movies 👋🏻✨

AITA for getting my crush arrested?
I (27, M) have had my eye on this girl; we'll call her Miss Frère (21, F) for a while. She's pretty cute and rescued me from being poisoned the night I was going to propose to my ex, so you could say she's pretty thoughtful too.
Anyway, I got really high the other night with one of my buddies, and we saw this house on fire. We thought it looked cool, so we were just standing there watching it burn when I realized it looked just like her house! So I ran over there to rescue her but passed out because of the smoke, and when I woke up, I came to find that she'd rescued me again! (Guess you could say she really likes me, huh?) Her boss didn't think it was so cool though; something about a rich cousin almost dying??? So Miss Frère got fired, and I felt kind of bad about it (this isn't the first time I got her fired, but I wasn't the sole cause of it before) so I gave her some money.
The next morning Miss Frère comes around trying to return the money to me, and I got kind of mad at her because I was pretty generous with the amount I gave her, so we got into a little bit of an argument. Then out of nowhere, all of these knights showed up and arrested her for some reason. (She probably has a wild side, huh?) Anyway, I was just trying to help her. Most recently fired people would love just to be handed money, right? So I really don't understand why she was giving it back to me in the first place.
TL;DR: I gave my crush some money after she got fired, she tried to give it back, we got into an argument, and she got arrested, probably over some hidden delinquent past. So, AITA for indirectly getting her arrested?

I write down the timestamps, but I watch Transformers Prime on Stan (an Australian streaming service) so they may be slightly off.
ALSO! I try my best to note points for every character, but tend to get a little caught up by Bee (although I think I do a pretty good job with the notes regardless) so do be warned.

00:41 - One thing to note is that Silas is a mix of Megatron and Optimus. He’s on the field alongside his workers regardless of why they’re there, but he also does not care who he hurts.
01:07 - Airachnid’s always gotta have a cool reveal. Theoretically. In practice it is not achieved.

02:37 - OH GAWD. This again??
02:58 - had to take a solid minute to collect myself. They don’t refer to themselves as ‘transformers’ so Airachnid saying that made so much sense, but the actual word sounded so foreign.
03:03 - honestly just hate Airachnid and Arcee’s rivalry so much. There’s no respect in it and it’s not clear (to me at least) how it happened. We get back story for the situation, but it clears up even less. Why is Airachnid specifically going after Arcee?? Why does Arcee take it so personally?.
03:13 - E X C U S E M E
03:28 - let us be clear… rn Jack’s mum is hawt.
03:46 - in Speed Metal this was proven true.
03:58 - Does Jack seriously not have any other friends? The humans are so dependent on the bots it’s frustrating.
04:26 - honestly, June’s a good mum. She’s very clear and firm, but she doesn’t yell.
04:49 - uh.. that’s honestly a weird line and feels really inappropriate.
05:06 - wait, so Arcee stays the night at Jack’s place?? But she works at night too!
05:42 - that car has the same numberplate as Jack’s mum RPI • 437 if it was a background car it wouldn’t matter, but we can see the plate clear as day.
05:55 - WOO! Beeeee
06:00 - the extended part of this scene is a luxury- oh wait… oh.. oh no… it’s a filler. This is a filler episode. That’s why Bee’s there and no one else is. If Ratchet, Optimus and/or Bulkhead don’t talk during this episode, it will confirm it.
06:08 - Hehe, the contrast. Also June listens to elevator music on her drive home.
06:34 - honestly, a little surprised they hadn’t gone with the ‘Doesn’t check the room’ trope.
06:46 - ooooh The light is a ground bridge! Thought they decided to randomly add the idea that when Arcee transforms it’s a Winx like transformation.

07:00 - June in denial that her son’s a frickin looser and has no friends.

09:37 - Mech is a really weird name for a group that doesn’t like transformers.
09:45 - ‘In my bed. I slept with your mother, Jack. Call me… Papa Silas.’ Would’ve made the episode 100x better.
10:10 - Wait… so the communicator scrambles the signal, so Arcee can’t reach the autobots, but as far as they are aware she’s supposed to be at Jack’s house. If her signal randomly went out, wouldn’t they notice and go looking for her?
10:25 - they had this ability the whole time but only NOW choose to use it?? If they had it set up throughout the town, they would be able to find any bot lickity split, especially if it causes them that much pain.
10:40 - Does anyone else despise the ‘they just want me 🥺’ trope?
10:51 - Arcee’s number plate is 396571.
11:26 - Oh my gaaaaawd! When will Arcee learn that she has to maintain level headed when fighting Airachnid otherwise she’s wasting her strength.
11:34 - the way Arcee’s optics tilted backwards and got big in fear, panic and desperation is a sweet choice. But how has she not realised that with Silas standing there, putting both Jack and June’s lives at risk, that he doesn’t care about them??
11:43 - bicthless behaviour.
13:09 - Calling her ‘Spider-bot’ rather than her name is both disrespectful in not using her name, but respectful in recognising who she is.
13:13 - HE SAID THE TITLE.
13:21 - The worker calls Arcee ‘it’ - entirely disrespectful and objectifies Arcee.
13:28 - considering how long it took them to simply open Breakdown’s chest plate and remove his eye, it’s safe to assume Arcee’s got plenty of time.
15:33 - what’d I say?
15:38 - he rhymed.
16:01 - what does that mean?.
16:30 - continuity.
16:35 - Awesome shot, which also captures their power imbalance.
16:40 - significantly higher. Arcee’s strong, yes. But not nearly as strong as Breakdown + Breakdown had assistance from another bot.
17:48 - why wouldn’t they have done the concrete as soon as Airachnid fell? She would’ve been less likely to have woken up.

19:46 - They did obtain some information, so I guess Silas got what he wanted.

21:25 - Another cover poster + Optimus looked slightly offended in the moments before the shot I got a photo of.

So that was Crisscross!
Incase it wasn’t apparent, I’m not a fan of the obvious filler episodes. I’m not a fan of Arcee and Airachnid’s dynamic either, so it made the episode worse.
One thing I will give it credit for is that it addressed the fact that June would’ve started to get suspicious.
Crisscross is better than Predatory, but I don’t like either episode.

- Another amazing sequence with Chetney RIPPING HIS FACE OFF in the middle of transformation
- they really hit the nail on the head with how I imagined all of these characters would move and work
- I also have to point out the flash of red light and how his eyes are red as a little reference to his bloodhunter status
- I mean, look at this good boi
- i wanna give im scritches so bad
- look at my battle monsters wet meow meows 🥺
- oh i love them so
- seeing them like this reallyyy shows how much of a group of misfits they are
- sometimes a family is an elderly gnome werewolf, an Eldritch Horror, rainbow sparkle nightmare horsegirl, a punk rock, a murderous robot, kleptomaniac fey creature and a widowed gymnast with the eyes of a hawk, yk?
- Have I mentioned I love them? Bc I love them
- I wanted to give each of the characters some attention and while I loved Fearne's introduction being her crossing the portal from the Fey to Exandria, I had to go battle sequence for her
- My girl is just... BALLER I loved watching her absolutely wreck shit with her fire monkey
- the flame effects on those vines burning off and the heat turning to blue in the first frame are incredibly cool
- Speaking of mister, LOOK at HIM
- he's just an absolutely feral little creature i'd risk getting burned to a crisp for some cuddles from this thing
- THE GUNKEY
- Another cute little nod in the Spiritual Weapon coin of the changebringer
- the ammount of detail put into this intro is just amazing
- at this point idk how many posts its gonna take with Tumblr limiting posts to 10 images max but there are so many good moments I still have to add

just suffered through Deadname of The Doctor with my partner so I'm treating myself with some GOOD nuwho
terrible effects? yes. terrible writing? absolutely fucking NOT
God the old intro is so good. I mean the series 7 one is alright but I miss the old one
I MISS NINE SO MUCH he's so sassy and goofy

Nine always looks so giddy when he's got guns pointed at him. Its too much.

I really like the exchanges between Mickey and Jackie. It comes off very organic, and like they've known each other for awhile.
The thing that the Doctor sometimes does with names and the dead. Asking peoples names. Giving them honor in someway. I miss that.
IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE DOCTORS NAME. FUCK THAT.
Rose joking about the compression field and Harriet calling her out on it is a small moment but an important one. Rose has become accustomed to death, enough that it doesn't bother her as much.

I noticed in the whole "is my daughter safe?" exchange, Rose isn't really given the ability to voice how she feels. Her mom talks over her, even when she says that she fine. Maybe it's because she's young, I don't know.

I find it interesting that the Slitheen actually care about each other. Maybe because they're mentally connected?

Nines face when Rose tells him "Do it." Before he's even explained the plan. Like 'you trust me that much?' Breaks my heart, honest.
"I could save the world but lose you." DONT TOUCH ME.
I love how it was Rose's idea to hide in the cupboard!

Jackie inviting the Doctor for dinner and him declining. Awe. Won't be that way for too long.
"My mother's cooking." "Good. Put her on a slow heat and let her simmer." PLEASE.
Oh he's trying so hard to be suave and cool. Like "pssh, you don't have to come if you don't want. I'll just have cool adventures without you." But it's more like "Please come. Please. 🥺"
I feel sorry for Jackie. She can't do anything to stop her daughter, her only daughter, from leaving. No matter how badly she wants her to stay.

NINE ACTUALLY OFFERING TO TAKE MICKEY WITH THEM BECAUSE HE CARES. 🥺🥺🥺

the fact that Jackie actually counts the 10 seconds...my heart...
Conclusion:
This two parter is still amazing. And the way it actually deals with the consequences of Rose leaving her old life behind is great.
