A couple of things change and they end up not studying at all.

He’s big and imposing, with bulging muscles and a look on his face that says, Are you kidding me? when Hotch informs him that Spencer is the newest member of the BAU team. Five times Spencer misinterprets Morgan's intentions, and one time he's finally able to straighten things out.

Hi! I just wanted to tell you that I just published elements, I hope you like it, it took me a while to publish it mainly because I was putting it off and the initial version would not have more than 500 words, but it turned out to be a work with 1700 words, I also had to ask for help from some spelling friends since I've never been able to fully understand how semicolons are used, I think so far this is like my first completed work

My head is bursting with ideas I swear, and I can't wait until life slows down for me a little so I can get them written, but I would be more than happy to share some fics with you in the meantime. I don't get to read as often as I'd like, but I do have a couple fics that I would 100% read again in a heartbeat.

The Art of Distraction by scarletmanuka, this is an AU where Reid isn't in the FBI but is a friend of Morgan's, and after weeks of begging he goes out for drinks with Morgan's team, and immediately hits it off with Hotch. I enjoyed this one a lot. It's cute and fluffy and smutty and has a bunch of texting. Which I'm a sucker for, as we all know.

No One would Despise Me by Tier14, quite possibly my favorite HotchReid fic ever, this is also an AU but this time Hotch is the one that's not an FBI agent. He's a priest. And Spencer (who is still in the BAU), after a bad case and fighting cravings, ends up at his church seeking shelter from a storm -- and a listening ear. Oh, it's so good. If religion makes you uncomfortable then I apologize, or the sacrilege that you know is bound to happen. This one is just very very good.

It Sounds Uncommon Nonsense by sumokoala/travelinthedark, this is actually a crossover! For a show I've never seen one episode of xD I still don't know how I found it. It's a crossover with Psych, which you don't need to have watched to enjoy this fic. It is cute and fluffy and smart and we don't have enough matchmaker tropes in this ship so I appreciated that. It was just adorable and a feel good fic if you need one.

By Your Response To Danger by @thefandomlesbian, this is a oneshot surrounding three instances (unconnected) where Reid and Hotch are in a life or death situation, and Reid decides that he needs Hotch to know that he loves him before he dies. It's a little intense because life/death situations, but I love this author their writing is nothing short of stunning. I would also recommend their longer fic, A Box Full of Darkness, but it is a WIP and I think they are taking a break from it to work on other projects. But it is also top tier, so good.

After writing all this out I realize I like fics with odd premises xD gotta make it interesting. But I hope you enjoy my selections 💕💕

It’s been a hot minute since I watched Criminal Minds, I left somewhere after Reid’s addiction (not because I wanted to but because life caught up to me and then I just forgot) but now you’re getting me back into it, and I was wondering, do you have any hotchreid fic recs? life got in the way for me too at new year's and I sorta stopped watching halfway through s9, but then they started showing cm on tv and I was dragged right back in at the beginning (I'm currently juggling s1 with s9 and it's a wonderfully confusing experience 😅).
