I have worked on this fic on and off for the past three months. It is 99% smut, and it surprised even me tbh, because this is my first time writing het smut, and let me tell you these three were insatiable. To the point where I thought I was finally done just for them to demand more every time.

I called this modern day AU "The Holly & Ivy Off Script AU" because I got the idea after I watched the movie "Holly & Ivy" that @thethistlegirl suggested. We brainstormed a bit and we used the movie's premise as the story for this poly relationship. We are still working on the finer details so I'll share more information as I write/post more fics in this 'verse.

I finished it right in time to post for GEAW Day 1.

It had to have been one of the longest days in recorded history and yet the day still wasn't over. How could it not be over yet? It felt as though there were sixteen hours left in the day, you just wanted it to end already. You'd already planned what you wanted to happen while at work having the shittest day. Not only had you given a presentation but your boss had been a complete asshat throughout the whole thing.

Going out of his way to make you feel stupid and minuscule in front of your co-workers and the new CEO who had just taken over the company. It was like he had a personal vendetta against you, making jokes about the way you would stutter or lose your words. Doing whatever he could to make himself look better than you ultimately left him with praise from the new CEO. A new CEO meant that there were probably going to be some cutbacks on staff and you had already convinced yourself that you were on the shortlist. Ready to be kicked from the company but after the shambles of a presentation you already knew you were top of the list. So you had made a plan while sitting in your office. Staring down at the photo of you and all of the boys together, you came up with a way to make yourself feel better.

The plan was to go home and crawl into bed with your boyfriends, never wanting to speak or even think about this day ever again. Not even if someone brought it up, you were even contemplating moving departments, or countries if it meant getting away from your boss.

But as soon as you walked into the house it became apparent that the plan wasn't going to work out quite the way that you wanted it to.

The house was completely empty and silent besides the TV that you always left on which meant each of the boys was still at work and most likely going to be late home like they always were.

Not that you hated them for that but you had been relying on that cuddling night with them to help you get through the rest of the day or at least to get you through the night.

"I guess it's just you and me," You said to Holly, your dog, as he came padding over to you wagging his tail with excitement. You bent down to scratch him right behind his ears, giggling a little as Holly began tapping his foot along the floor. Holly was the dog you had gotten with Yoongi. The two of you wanted to try and start a mini family with the rest of the boys since having a child was out of the question.

All of you were far too busy to bring a child into the world and then fathering the child would be a whole other mess. Seven boys all dying to become a dad, it would be unfair to only pick one of them. If you ever got to that point you were pretty sure you were all going to look into adopting a child, giving someone a better life than living inside of the system.

"Come on baby, lets get you fed." You laughed as you got up from the ground, taking Holly back to the kitchen as you hunted around for the fresh food that you always gave to him. At least if the boys weren't home you weren't going to be completely alone in the house, you had someone to speak with...Even if that someone could only bark and whine back at you.

As you lay there tossing and turning in bed you couldn't help but throw a pity party for yourself. Staring at the ceiling as you thought about texting one of the boys, begging to know when they were going to come home but it was hard. Each of them worked harder than ever lately and you didn't want to be the one distracting them from their work. While at the same time, a part of you aching for them to rush home and comfort you. Nothing felt right as you laid there, dressed in one of Jin's shirts while you cuddled up to one of Jungkook's many...Many pillows.

"Fuck this," You grumbled as you threw yourself out of the bed in your bedroom and began to walk into each of their rooms.

The year before for Christmas you had gotten each of them a stuffed bear each, they all worked away from home a lot. Going on tour or doing promotions so you had gotten them a little something from home.

Each of them had a build-a-bear toy with their names on shirts that the bears wore. You'd gotten a lot of weird looks whilst in the store for buying seven different bears and naming them after the BTS Members but you didn't care.

Your relationship wasn't public knowledge and you knew it wasn't going to be for a long time. The relationship was still fairly new to you all and you all went day by day trying to figure out what it all meant. None of you wanted to have the public in on that just yet, at least not until you'd worked out a way to explain it to them all.

Once your bed was filled with all Seven bears you crawled into bed, smiling as you could smell all of their aftershaves mixed together around you. It wasn't the boys but it was still nice to have a part of them beside you, at least this way you might be able to get some sleep tonight. You missed them and you didn't just miss them a little, you missed them a lot.

All week long it had been one thing after another with them being out of the house every second of the day. It was supposed to be your night with Tae last night but he hadn't gotten home until the early hours and by then you were already asleep alone.

You loved them and you adored how much that they loved their jobs but you did miss them and you missed them so much it hurt sometimes. The teddies may have been something that you had gotten for them but it was also something for you.

"No, we need to be up early," Jin told Jungkook as he began to lecture him about how late that they had been that day. All of them had been rushed out of the front door that morning because Jungkook overslept.

"I don't want to be up early, I've been up early all week," Jungkook grumbled like a child, ignoring his Hyung as he began to make his way into the house. Holly was curled up asleep on the sofa, as usual, but there was no sign of you in the house.

"Is Y/n working late?" Yoongi questioned as he looked around. Normally when they would come home from work you'd be on the sofa waiting for them or asleep on the sofa after falling asleep waiting for them all.

"Maybe, normally she texts..." Namjoon trailed off slowly as he pulled out his phone just to check that you hadn't sent them a message but there was nothing from you since lunch. You'd thanked them all for wishing you good luck with your presentation and that was it.

"She's fed Holly, so she's home," Hoseok called from the kitchen as he noticed the plate from your dinner was washed up along with the bowl you fed Holly with every night.

Each of them began to make their way up to your room, tapping lightly on the door in case you were just getting out of the shower but there was no noise. Jimin slowly began to push the door open and his heart seemed to flutter at the sight of you there.

Laying on the bed in one of Jin's shirts surrounded by each of their stuffed bears that you had gotten for them. Each of them felt their faces beginning to heat up as you made a small whine in your sleep, turning over to cuddle into some of the pillows and bears beside you.

"I think we should take the weekend off," Yoongi whispered as he inched closer to the bed, covering you up with a duvet so that you didn't get cold. He knew you missed them from the sight of you curled up beside the bears, you only ever did this when you were upset or missing them.

The way you hummed in your sleep made all of them weak, you looked so peaceful on the bed like that. Surrounded by things that you loved.

"Agreed," Namjoon whispered back as he smiled weakly. All of them had been so busy that week that each missed their night to cuddle with you.

"Jin, its your night so you can stay with her," Namjoon added as Jin nodded his head in agreement, he wasn't going to fight against that he'd been dying to see you all day long. Each of them had one night with you a week, sharing a bed with you since all eight of you weren't exactly going to fit into one bed.

"Goodnight," The boys all whispered as they began to leave your room, giving you one last look as Jin kissed the top of your head, being careful not to wake you up before he went to get ready for the rest of the night.

The next morning you'd woken up cuddled in Jin's arms, his small and soft snoring waking you up and instantly making you smile. It was the first time you'd woken up beside any of them all week and all you wanted to do was stay like this for as long as possible but you couldn't.

Your phone was lighting up and you had countless emails and calls from your co-workers. You expected to be fired and as you unlocked your phone your heart rate only increased.

Please contact us as soon as possible. Your new office will be ready and waiting.

Without being able to help it you let out a scream as you saw the mass amounts of congratulation emails and texts that you had been getting all night long. All of them were extremely excited to see you getting the promotion that you deserved and earned.

"What happened?!" Jin asked as he sat up suddenly, staring at you as you teared up. Doing nothing but give him the phone as the door burst open to the bedroom, Tae and Jimin standing there with slippers in their hands, ready to hit whoever it was making you scream or to crush a spider.

"I got a promotion!" You yelled out as you rushed over to them, throwing your arms around their necks as they hugged you back. Asking you to explain how and why it had happened.

Fandom Snowflake Challenge

Day #2: In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.

Posted here on 4 January 2022. Cross-posted to DW. Under a read-more due to length. (There are four goals.)

One. I need to finish whatever squares I still want to do for Podfic Bingo 2021 to 2022.

The deadline is 28 February 2022, but if I want to go into the amnesty period, I could post 1 March to 2 April 2022 as well. I don't particularly care about getting a bingo or not, but I have a list of fics I've already found for squares that I should look over.

Two. I have several not yet completed podfics from 2021 that I'd like to finish and post.

I have a What We Do In The Shadows (TV) fic from that overly ambitious treat list. I'm on Chapter 10 of 52 for a weekly epistolary fic. Lightly pencilled in, two and a half: That Voiceteam 2021 challenge. Actually, like, two challenges that aren't yet done.

Three. I need to make a decision about what's still on the To Podfic list from 2021.

I have three or four Prodigal Son fics that I've been carrying over from a To Podfic list from last spring. I have a list specifically for a prolific writer with blanket permission to podfic in that fandom (like, 20 of the over 180 fics). I have a few tentatively liked fic from browsing for Podfic Bingo options.

Four. I would like to do at least one fandom event.

Last year, I did Voicteam, got started on Podfic Bingo, and did three fests, or something like that. I'm very confident that I can find something to take part in; I'm just not entirely sure what yet. (More meta podfic? Try a Big Bang? Some sort of gift exchange? Will this be the year that I remember about Holly Poly? I dunno.)

As a reminder: - You can request/offer 3-10 fandoms - You can request/offer 1-20 relationships per fandom - If you would like to request/offer any nominated relationship, tick the "Any" box - Make certain to choose which medium or mediums you are willing to create for each fandom Please remember that Any really does mean any. Do not request or offer Any unless you mean it. Any does not mean "any relationships except for these certain ones" or "any relationships involving this character" or "this relationship that I really like but forgot to nominate." It means any relationship whatsoever that was nominated under that fandom and is currently listed in the tag set. Pinch Hits: Post-Default Deadline

The default deadline passed about a day and a half ago, and there were five new pinch hits posted to the google group yesterday evening, one of which has already been claimed. We also still have one lingering initial pinch hit (#4) that is proving hard to fill - if you know anyone in any of those fandoms please help spread the word to them if you think they might be interested or might know someone else who would be.
