Episode 3: Pacing is still all over the place and there’s sometimes moments where they cut off dialogue too quickly so then it’s just awkward silence. Such as Rockruff’s entry being super short with the rest couple of seconds being just Rockruff and Murdock still and the girl taking 10 seconds to walk to the bench and sit down as we just watch in uncomfortable silence. I do love Sprigatito though. She reminds me of my doggo, personality wise. Battle and moves visuals are amazing too
The characters also randomly teleported. One second Friede and Amethio are battling inside and then the next second they are on the roof?? Why did they move there?? I think Liko is getting a little bit better but I’m still meh on her atm. However I’m in love with the Pokémon on the show. Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Cap, Rockruff, etc. So I guess you could say I’m a bigger fan of the Pokémon than the characters. But for now, we say goodbye to Anne and my child Oshawott 😭
I’ll give the episode a 6/10
Episode 4:
Ok I officially love Fuecoco. He’s so goofy and adorable! Fuecoco is friend shaped. I’ve already liked him since I saw clips of the show but now that I’m watching it in full, I love him even more. I’m definitely sticking around the show for him. Although his dub singing voice is a bit rough and I prefer his sub singing voice. No disrespect towards the VA tho, I love his cute voice regardless. We get Roy’s introduction too. I think it’s a good one. I love his and Fuecoco’s bond, even before they are partners
We unfortunately say goodbye to Liko’s school outfit. Honestly, I prefer it over her casual look. Like her casual outfit isn’t bad. The colors are fitting and she looks good in it but I just think she looks better in the uniform but that’s just my preference. The pacing wasn’t too bad this episode, some cuts but nothing as bad as the first two episodes imo
I’ll give the episode a 7/10

Pat might not work on 3 Nopes (at least I heard so?) as a voice director, but his spirit is always with us!
So, I happened on a JP audio PT of SB’s chapter 4, and let me tell you...
:’)
If I had to get this game, I’d obviously play with the JP audio, and still feel out of the loop regarding certain things prevalent in the fandom -
who am I kidding, here’s another round of TFW 4Kids erases stuff for the sake of it
First we start with Flayn’s line, as I pointed in another post
Tumblr media
But in the Jp Audio (10.14), Flayn answer to her “otou-” but catches herself and replies with the traditional “onii-sama”. Meaning, on the verge of defeat, Flayn was going to call Seteth her dad, but caught herself at the last minute.
Something that, obviously, doesn’t appear in the lolcalised script, because “...” doesn’t really convey the same meaning, nor how Flayn’s first reaction is not to pause and search for words, but to call to her Father.
Good right?
Tumblr media
My ear might be playing a trick on me, but Inoue doesn’t mention Supreme Leader’s name during this line, like not at all.
Tumblr media
And here, Inoue only mentions her name without her full title.
Why this was added, and why could it be important?
A long time ago, I had a discussion with a Friend about how Rhea saw Supreme Leader in CF - thinking she dishonors her ancestors and spits on the Hresvelg legacy Rhea helped Willy to build (let it biologically or just, she helped him become emperor because at that point she had faith in him).
It’s only late in the game (iirc, when Seteth’n’Flayn are not here anymore) that Rhea acknowledges Edel’s ties to the Hresvelg family.
So calling her, right now, and so soon a member of House Hresvelg is meh, but why not.
Now, the most objective reason why this is annoying, is because of NoA!Rhea and how the team perceived the character of Rhea.
Rhea is calm and composed, she “just is” and passes judgments on people she deem unworthy. Rhea is that figure of authority, just like Dumbledore, who has a certain presence and cannot say “trick or treat ~” with a sing song voice.
So why is Rhage calling Edelgard by her name, then full name? I wondered and then remembered something stupid, by giving Edel’s full name and making  a death threat, Rhage is “artificially” sentencing her to death.
Which would fit with Rhage’s general aura and the perception of her being a religious extremist who thinks she can pass down her judgment on people for being, idk, heretics or whatnot.
Yes, Jp!Rhea also makes death threat, but when Dimitri threatens to remove Supreme Leader’s head from her shoulder, he is only expressing his wish, not giving some “I have passed my judgment” crap.
Or, maybe NoA had Rhage say Supreme Leader’s full name to mark them as enemies, because let’s face it, their “rivarly” has always been pretty one sided, Rhea just doesn’t want to die, while Supreme Leader thinks she’s responsible for the world’s ills. So if Rhage notices Supreme Leader more and even acknowledges her by spelling out her full name, it builds some sort of connection between the two - marking them as enemies.
And not just, you know, Supeme Leader screaming at Rhea because she bought the Lizard Illumanity theory on Uncle’s FB group (or Wilhelm’s dead account who was taken over by Thales) and Rhea not understanding at all what she is talking about.
Tl; Dr : I wonder if there will be a datamine for this game, with the JP audio + I hope the person who made the video will make a PT of the subsequent chapters too without the localised dub.

Since the Given dub came out recently, I'm going to post my thoughts from when I watched the sub for the first time (this was about April 2020):
As a warning, there will be minimal consistency when I refer to characters as it took me nearly the entire anime to remember their names. My comments are also very vague... Have fun :p
1.
The dog.. adorable
Oh it's sub. Okay I can vibe with this
Oh boo you look so sad
"I'm not lonely" who are you kidding. Lowkey what a mood tho
~DePrEsSiOn NaPs~
This dude really just be sleeping on the school stairs, huh?
Of course he knows how to fix the guitar
Kageyama and Hinata look great together
Bitch you sacrificed your own nap time to help this bitch
Oh my god! TSuki
Blond Asahi too!!
Of course the one with piercings is the drummer
What a great sibling relationship depicted here
Ginger Boy be depresso
'Where's he sneaking off to?' 'Somewhere gay probably'
He just looks scary.
So he's just in the band now?
BING
The silent conversations between Kaji and Ponytail are great
Ooo THIS IS PRETTY (and so are they tbh)
Yama really be holding this entire relationship (?) together huh
Boy get back to practice
Ue really said gay confusion
His fingers are bandaged 🥺
Sato really went "It was perfect but,, it didn't have you"
2.
Episode 2 really be breaking out the L word
Sato really said "am babey"
These boys have no right being this pretty
SOMEONE JUST HUGGED SATO IN THE OPENING PRECIOUS
((my friend just laughed when I told her. I'm scared))
Sato is literally just the audience. No idea what's going, wants to learn an instrument now, in love with Eunoyama
Friend 1: skipping basketball again? Friend 2: *points to Sato, smiling* Friend 1: alright then
Further confirming Sato is me: doesn't know anyone's name
This boy really is clueless.
NO. Kaji, you get back here and say what's on your mind 😠
Haru that's adorable. Great job, sweetie
Euno has gay confusion/rage. Haru has gay panic
*casual ripped Kaji*
Motorcyclist, fancy waiter, AND security guard?? Whoever he ends up with is one lucky dude
SATO seems unapproachable? That CHILD? That precious bean??
I'm sensing Yama's picking up on the angst I shouldn't know about yet 👀
OH NO HE FROWN :(
*gay glitter floats while singing*
oh my he cry :'(
3.
This whole "I'm not lonely" thing is going to be a trope isn't it? I'm going to end up crying because of it, aren't I?
Oh we starting sad huh? Okay, FINE.
Oo, Haru jealous
I love that they know he's in love before he does
The audacity Sato possesses sometimes
OH SHIT KAJI DUMPED YAYOI
Yama is too precious with his WikiHow article
Yama has fallen hard
Sweater Haru? Absolutely. Plain button up Kaji? Maybe not...
Kenma's here too!
Trauma! Trauma! Trauma!
Oh god no the phone call
(Theory: the poor boy has cried so much he can't anymore)
When people tell you you look like you aren't thinking about anything and they're right but it's only to stop the tears haha am I right guys
Gay rage. That's it.
I'm sorry. A capella singing is not for me. He's beautiful but this is so cringey
He's trying so hard, aw
4.
Yama's writing a love sooonnngg
~And he can only be awakened by true love shouting his name across the entire room
Sato's smug ass smirk. Yama's whipped folks
I've never seen so many cinnamon rolls act so threatening before
Yama looks into the frickin camera my lord
Haru's ugly shoes match his guitar case 🙄
Yama just wants to see his baby happy
His contact photo for Sato is his pupper 🥺
Sato really is clueless. He must be protected
Oh chickie's friend about to spill some tea
5.
Haru has amazing hair. Good for him :)
This is the first time I saw the lyrics for the opening. Nooo
Bro that's gay
Haru I feel omg awww
Oop flashback 👀
Saaaaammme Haru. Kaji be fine as hell
I'm waiting for something bad to happen to Kaji. Or some sort of shoe to drop. This is all going too well
Oh no 2 mugs
Oh NO a brunette
Yama is always asleep
Haru is definitely getting drunk on purpose
Drunk actions are sober thoughts
"MEH. TOO MUCH WORK."
Haru got cock blocked by alcohol being alcohol lol
*Cue cute montage of band bonding
(They're always showing airplanes in the sky. Is this some sort of symbolism?)
THIS MF BITCH JUST OUTED HIM. HOW RUDE 🤬
I didn't know it was his bf 😥 I thought it was his brother
Don't get involved with him. Ya couldn't have told him that before he fell head over heels for his oblivious ass ??
6.
Oh no, him.
Akaashi is here now too
Kaji really said Sato's the soft uwu to their hard core owo
~That's called love bromo~
Oh biTCH HE KNOWS EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL
Haru doesn't even know the storm he just released by saying 'relationship'
Sato just accidentally got dark very quickly.
That dog is so fine being left all alone. Suspicious.
We walking down memory lane
I'm getting real sad on memory lane and nothing's happened yet.
"I'm not lonely" but this time it hits different; it's like he actually believes it this time
Cud-dle! Cud-dle! Cud-dle!
Yama casually dies
Gee, I wonder what his lyrics could be 🤔 ? Totally not the credits or whatever. Absolutely not
(I took a break bc I was tired and it was 2am)
7.
Oo yes the Kaji background I've been waiting for
Haru really is like Asahi, precious
They sure do love their vending machine beverages.
One hit K.O.
Yama asking Kaji, who is openly bi, if there's something wrong with him for liking a guy is too precious
Is Sato falling more in love or is his heart breaking? I can't tell at this point
*awkward cartoon accordion music plays*
Just when I think we're never going to get back to Kaji, here we go
Ngl Mysterious Brunet is kinda cute. Good for Kaji
When you need a hug so bad and someone finally gives you one
8.
Sato's little sweater tucked into his jeans aww
We haven't actually seen Yuki yet, have we?
I cannot tell if Kaji's home life is flashbacks or real. I am confused and intrigued
They've ramped up the number of slow, dramatic montages. Stuff's getting serious
This is awkward...
YES SATO!! FEEL YOUR FEELS
Why does Kashima need to be forgiven? What did he know??
No Sato!! 😢 (no wonder he said he didn't have a dad)
A whole ass episode. Give me the damn performances!!!
9.
This episode better be amazing or gay I stg
Haru really came in here being like 'Broken strings happen all the time? Fix it and let's move on. C'mon guys'
I'm waiting for Sato to just bust out some spectacular vocals from nowhere and everyone will be Shook™ (especially Yama)
(When replacing guitar strings, do you have to replace them all at the same time? That seems wasteful but I understand why one would)
Sato is so soft but he is so b r o a d
YES. BE SHOOK
Kaji's little smile of approval :')
No I did not have to pause to restrain from crying. What? Who would do that? Certainly not me 😳
*finishes singing a song about his dead bf* *immediately gets kissed but new love interest*
"I'm not lonely"
So our precious little cinnamon roll isn't so innocent after all
10.
Oh she having a breakdown fellas. She cutting her haiiirrrr
Rewind??
He did a damn rewind for his own life! Aha
At least she had someone's hand to hold. He was up there all alone
Music video! Music video!
Sure you will. Just leave after stopping in. Totally won't stay any longer
JUST FIVE MORE MINUTES
Yama said 'I may not have been your first but would you mind me being your last?'
Oh my god this was the first time he felt like he was allowed to talk. Without being hurt. Or reprimanded. Or any consequences. I need to give this poor boy a hug 😭
Sato being so blunt is perfect ("my dead boyfriend's mom..." so casually)
Kaji is such a Dad I love him
Oop is Kenma gay for Akaashi ? 👀 (or vice versa. Probably more vice versa)
Not a fan of Mysterious Brunet -_-
Yama's a simp
Yama is WHIPPED by this boy
Sato may be quiet but he certainly knows what he wants
Oh shit the L word already?
11.
Yama kissed him and he's shocked that he likes him back?
This whole 'internal dialogue' thing is great
Haru and Kaji: dating within the band is a big no-no, huh Yama: oh no but I <3 Sato Haru and Kaji, also: sexual tension whomst?
Everyone babies Sato
The winter coats are so extra
They are not a serious band. Of course that was a bad idea.
Does his stylist friend,, not know??
Give me your hand. It's dangerous.
Haru . Wants a, girlfriend? Oh? (Boys are a pain tho, I feel)
I want more?? How did Yuki die? Is Kaji dating Brunet or is he really just a roommate? Can Haru and Kaji just get together already??
~~
Congrats on making it to the end of this mess! Remember how I said I couldn't remember any of their names? This was the key I used while I was watching:
{Sato-ginger, Eunoyama-Tobio, Kaji-piercings, Haruki-ponytail, Yayoi-sister}
Needless to say I've learned a lot about this show since I wrote this. I'm excited to see how the dub turned out!

I do not trust IMDB for reviews, but now, because of Anna and the Apocalypse, I do not trust rotten tomatoes either...
After 'Spirited' was such a good fucking movie, I found another christmas comedy musical: Anna and the Apocalypse. I had seen the trailer years ago, and said this was shit skipping it at the time, but after reading it was 'the musical shawn of the dead', I had to give it a go.
And checking rotten: great reviews. Both critics and audiences.
What was the movie, REALLY?
A shitty new age high school musical, like 'Grease' 2018 at christmas time, and there's zombies. Woot.
Was the musical part bad? No. But usually added nothing. There was...1-3 times it worked with the scene or added to it, but most times, it was like an internal monologue set to music. They were pretty good singers, meh actors. Felt like a fresh college acting troupe: Trying WAY too hard.
It wasn't funny. Like, at all, in any real way. I laughed so few, I don't even remember specifically why. More in passing. The only one who had real comedic timing was the blonde lesbian. She was the best singer too. She can hit those high notes (if that was her and not dub).
And the lead baddie? He was like the caricature of the personification of satire. He went beyond comic book status stupid. He also has the worst singing voice, and song, in the movie. Picture someone trying to be intentionally as annoying as possible...then forgetting they were doing that. And then continues thinking that's how a normal person acts.
Don't watch this movie. Fuck the major review pages. Or if you do watch it (as long as you are not a die hard fan of the writer/director/lead or musicals. Go in without a biased pro or con like me) tell me if it was as good as the reviews. I just don't want a big musical fan going in and saying 'it's the best wtf, wack!'
The special effects were SOLID, but with constant regular plot holes, boring music and dance numbers, this is nothing more than 'Generic (this WHOLE thing was generic for how 'one of a kind' thing it felt like it was trying to be) Christmas High School Musical: Zombie edition.' Sorry I didn't try to think of another creative way to say it, but this wasn't that creative either. You get what you give.
Anna and the Apocalypse: 3/10.
ps-best part? I thought anna, the lead, was terrible. For the lead, her story arc, acting, and plot developments added nothing to us giving a shit about her. If we don't care about the lead, or the supporting characters are far more interesting, you have a failure of a movie. She's not even anti hero. She's anti....personality. There is nothing original or special about the lead. Who the fuck wrote this and cast her?! Bet she's known for her signing more than acting...but again, the writing for her was tepid.
pps-actual best part? The reviews were saying (spoilers-because everyone basically dies, especially the adults) this is a coming of age story about a high school teen finding her way in a world where all those who supported her were dead. Now she's on her own... It was a MUSICAL. And not even as good as Mama Mia. Get over yourselves. You didn't reinvent the wheel. You cut the crust off bread (and it's still pretty white....and bland.)

Okay I was thinking about how the other charathers that Arent the great Seven would react to the NRC students in the house of mouse AU. Like i can Imagine Azul asking Ariel if She wants ti make a deal with him and Ariel Is like "lol no", or the First year see Cruella de vil at One of the tables and they are like "She look so much like Crewel that She's giving us PTSD" or kalim and Aladdin becoming buddies :D.
Well, let me put in some headcannons then:
Word goes around that some of the Great Disney villains come to visit Yuu and everyone gets jealous.
So now whenever Yuu goes to work they always get asked to have them visit their world.
So, Yuu just says, “Meh ok, you guys can visit me whenever just ask one of the Great Seven or go through the mirror in my dressing room-“
And suddenly Yuu gets someone they met from the House of Mouse ever other day. It’s literal chaos and Yuu doesn’t know if they should feel exasperated or flattered.
Anyways, here’s some interactions between the dorms and some Disney Characters:
Heartslybul: Obviously when Alice comes to visit, she comments on how Heartslybul reminds her of the Queen of Hearts’ garden. When Yuu mentions that they paint the roses red, Alice sarcastically asks, “Does the dorm leader behead people who don’t paint the roses?” “...Well, he’s more lenient now but...” “...You’re serious?”
Ace and Alice get along swimmingly, basically quick quips and a lot of teasing. Yuu regrets introducing them to each other because they know the two are going to get into some sort of trouble. Deuce also gets along with Alice, though he can get lost in Alice’s rambles in imagination.
I think Alice would get along with Trey and Cater. I mean, they both give big brother vibes (Trey more than Cater). Trey would give Alice some tarts and Alice is like, “....He’s cool.”
Cater is going to take a bunch of pictures, and Alice is very curious about the device he’s holding (I don’t think phones or the internet existed during Alice’s time so...). Cater ends up teaching Alice about the internet and phones.
Riddle...ohhh noo. Once Alice broke one of the 810 rules and Riddle lightly scolded her for it. Alice thinks most of the rules are ridiculous and while Riddle has toned down on being strict, he’ll quickly get annoyed with Alice questioning the rules. There’s rules for a reason! The dorm was founded on these rules!!
Savannaclaw: It’s Simba, obviously. He’s curious to see the dorm after his...nefarious uncle. It’s much more nicer than he expected, though he’s a little off put by the dorm’s...rowdiness.
But he’s impressed with the Magishift practices they have when Yuu showed them.
He likes Jack, right off the bat. Jack has this sense of justice that he can relate to. I think they would get along pretty well. Oh, and probably how strong and buff Jack is.
Simba is wary of Ruggie, due to him being a hyena beastmen. He has...bad memories of hyenas. His wariness is correct, since Ruggie has tried to swindle Simba and Yuu to do some of his work. Does the relationship get better? Only if Yuu makes them hang out with each other haha.
Leona reminds Simba of Scar...to a certain degree. Lazy, cunning, and has this look where it seems like he could be planning something nefarious...
Ok, maybe not that bad, but Simba is weary of Leona. He kind of expected a character similar to Scar since this is the dorm based on him but...still. It’s really odd. It’s kind of rocky, but if Cheka comes over to visit, well...it could get better.
I mean, Leona does find Cheka annoying and calls him a brat but...Simba can tell there’s no malicious desire towards Cheka, which raises Leona’s “evil people don’t interact” list. That doesn’t mean Leona’s in the clear, but he’s ok.
Octavinelle: Surprise, surprise, it’s Ariel! She comes over, human legs and all. (Don’t worry! She got them from the nicer sorcerers). She wanted to visit Yuu and see how great NRC was! They had fun, and then they went to Mostro Lounge.
Ariel is terrified of the Tweels. They give her this...off putting feeling and they’re very intimidating. She does not trust them at all. She does like how they get up close and how they speak as if she’s some poor soul waiting to be taken advantage over.
That’s also why she does not trust Azul at all. He reminds Ariel of Ursula - especially when he tries making a contract with her. Uh-uh, no way. Never again.
This leads to Ariel dubbing NRC a dangerous place for Yuu to stay at. Why doesn’t Yuu come live with her and her family back at her world? Surely it’s much more safer than here! Why, Melody already sees Yuu as a big sibling so why not just stay at the castle permanently?
Ursula fumes at the thought of her enemy trying to take Yuu away and become their parent. That’s her role, dammit!
Scarabia: Kalim invites Aladdin, actually. It’s the most funniest scenario. Yuu mentioned to Kalim about the street rat that wooed the princess and Kalim says, “:00 WE SHOULD INVITE HIM!!” Jamil sighs and facepalms.
It’s actually going great! Aladdin is kind of shocked at the big party that Kalim threw, but it was a great welcome. He’s shook that Kalim apparently trusted Aladdin enough to show him the treasury room. “It’s open for all of the dorm to use! I don’t need much of it!”
Wasn’t NRC rumored to be a villain’s school??? What is this ball of sunshine doing here???
Actually, the Scarabia duo are good in his eyes. Sure, a little rough around the edges with Kalim being a bit too naive and Jamil being more of a watching snake, but they’re better than what he expected. Aladdin gets along with them pretty well!
And then they go on a carpet ride when Kalim introduces Aladdin to his magic flying carpet.
Yuu and Jamil scream at the two of them to get down as they fly across the night sky.
Pomfiore: oh no. Oh no no no. Snow White visiting Pomfiore is like...Neige visiting.
Vil is cold to Snow White, and she knows why. She’s seen the images that Yuu had of this “Neige Leblanc”. He certainly reminds her of her younger days. Which is why she completely understands why Vil is so standoffish of her.
What she doesn’t expect is Rook singing her praises and also kind of...watching her. It’s low key creepy but Yuu says it’s normal and since he doesn’t mean any harm Snow White lets it slide. They do have a good conversation though. Snow White learns to understand Rook’s...eccentric hobbies.
Epel and Snow White go together like apples and oranges. They go pretty well together, but they have contrasting differences. They could be passed of as siblings with their cute looks, as much as Epel hates to admit it. Though I’d like to think they have this “Soft big sister with a gremlin of a little brother” dynamic. Or “Big sister that is harmless but has a badass little bother” dynamic. Just...a cool sibling dynamic, basically.
Ignihyde: Hercules comes by when he hears that a dorm was based off of Hades. He had to see what it was like. He expected the doom and gloom, but he didn’t expect all the technology.
He and Ortho go along swimmingly. I mean, he’s pretty chill around the more upbeat and cheery dorm member, at least. (Seriously, the others were such buzzkills). He also gets a good impression on Idia when Ortho affectionately talks about his big brother! Wow, so the kids here do have a heart! Unlike Hades-
Ok, so as much as Ortho talks so highly of Idia, Hercules does not see how Ortho does. I mean, Idia is a complete shut in and gloomy recluse! Why do you stick around him?! It isn’t until he speaks his mind about that comment does Ortho turn into a crazy murder machine. (“How DARE you speak of that about my brother!!”) Yuu has to save Hercules and the entire dorm before Ortho blows up the school.
So now Hercules sees how inseparable the two are and how much they care for each other, which yeah, that’s pretty cool. (Is also low key jealous, how come his half brothers weren’t like that?)
Diasomnia: Aurora visits with Maleficent. Both do not share ill will after their stories are completed. They actually do make amends. So Maleficent invited Aurora to see her grandson, and Aurora politely accepts.
They have tea with Malleus, and it is a very pleasant conversation. Aurora gets along well with Malleus, even suggesting maybe she should invite him and Maleficent to her kingdom one day. (Maybe when she gives birth to a beautiful baby. Maleficent liked that)
Lilia is also a fun one to be around! Aurora was so surprised by his scare that she had laughed. Ah, what a funny fae! Why, she hadn’t laughed this hard since...well, never. She likes Lilia and will come by if she needs a good laugh.
Poor Sebek though....he acts all uptight around Aurora because she’s a Queen and also aquatinted with Maleficent...he must be respectful to her at all costs! It takes a long time for Sebek to at least act a little casual around her. Maleficent says it’ll take some time, though Aurora isn’t sure if that time will come on her lifetime...but for the meantime, she is still happy to be around Sebek’s presence and have pleasant conversations with him.
Aurora and Silver...ok, let me say this: they got along during a sleepover. The Diasomnia gang + Maleficent and Aurora had a sleepover in the dorms to “better know each other”. I also think Aurora would feel sympathy for Silver if the conversation of him tending to fall asleep came up. Heavens knows she still has her sleepy spells even after her curse was broken.
Also- wofhenod I just imagine Aurora and Silver walking in the forest together and a bunch of animals surround them. (Yuu finds them and cries when they actually attracted a bunch of adorable puppies (or whatever animal you find cute). Cute, adorable animals that are so gentle with them that they start to cry due to stress from being at NRC (Silver and Aurora look at Yuu with concern and gently start comforting them)
Winfendien Suddenly I want a twin dynamic with Silver and Aurora. Even a sibling dynamic would be cool. Just two sleepy siblings that won’t hesitate to kick your ass.

Ok so I’m going to post lore about Emlyn because I want to and I literally have no one else to talk to about it. Here we go!
Emlyn Jones is the, usually younger, sister of Casey Jones. Her backstory has definitely changed over the years as well as her in general. I literally rebooted her around 2016 because I found everything about to be meh. Originally her name was Alexa Jones, which was changed because I had five other ocs with Alex/Alexa/Alexandra. She also, for some reason, had a second name which was Kyoko because she had grown up in Japan as a member of the foot clan. She had been one of the greatest ninjas of the foot, being dubbed Shirohebi. At some point, something I never really figured which shows how over complicated I made her backstory, she betrayed Shredder and the Foot because she didn’t agree with their views. I’d finish writing her old stuff but honestly I hate it and I’m just gonna stop before it annoys me.
So, current Emlyn, aka for Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is a high school student at the same school as April O’Neil. She won’t admit it, but she’s smart even though she takes all advanced classes as well as visual art classes. She is the younger sister of Cassandra ‘Casey’ Jones. Before becoming friends with April, after having to a project with her, Emlyn didn’t really have friends because she was dubbed as that weird art kid. She actually knows basic/low level ninjutsu because both her and Casey learned it at a young age, but she never really enjoyed fighting unless she absolutely had to. She may come off as shy, but she honestly doesn’t understand how to be sociable with making things hella awkward. Emlyn actually has some anger problems, but she doesn’t get angry often, at least not in front of others. Whenever she does get angry she yells at others or cry while yelling at others. She once punched a wall, putting a small dent in it while nearly breaking some bones. She is definitely stronger than she lets on though that’s mainly from occasionally fighting with Casey.
So I’m still figuring out how exactly Emlyn meets the turtles, but it’d probably be from her looking for something to draw and she spots one the turtles hiding in the shadows. Though whenever she does become friends with the turtles she definitely feels awkward around them, not used to having friends. The first turtle she ends up connecting with is Mikey after they realize their mutual love of the fine arts. Raph would be the second turtles she ends up connecting with mainly because of his teddy bear aura, plus he somehow knows how to put her at ease whenever she gets really anxious or overwhelmed. She would’ve connected with Donnie a lot quicker than she actually does, but she was too anxious to talk to him. It wasn’t until she had gone to the lair one day and all the other turtles were busy and Donnie really wanted to show someone something he made, so he dragged her into his lab to see it and she genuinely found it interesting. A lot of Donnie’s tech and other things would go over her head because he’s a genius, but she could figure it out without him having to really dumb it down to be understood on a basic level. Leo is definitely the last turtle she connects with, it’s mainly because he makes all of her insecurities come to the surface though he has no clue about that because she would never admit that out loud. Another reason why they didn’t really connect at first is that Emlyn found him really cute and she has trouble talking to cute people, which was another reason why she struggled to befriend April. Of course she wouldn’t admit that out loud because it’d just make things awkward for her.
Occasionally Emlyn will cook for the turtles, mainly so they aren’t always eating just pizza and so she can get better at cooking. She usually has Mikey help out when she cooks to make sure what she makes is good. However her specialty is baking, mainly cakes, cookies and brownies. She also secretly loves singing, but is too scared to sing in front of anyone. She typically will sing while cooking and baking alone because to her it makes everything go by quicker. One time while she was at the lair, baking some cookies, she was singing along to some music she was listening to and got caught by Mikey, who thought she sounded amazing, but she disagreed while becoming a flustered mess. She almost burnt the cookies because her anxieties started clouding her mind, luckily Mikey saved the cookies, but he also reassured her that he wouldn’t tell anyone that she could sing when he saw how she reacted to him finding out.
One time Emlyn and Casey got into a huge fight that ended up with Casey winning, but Emlyn was severely beaten up by her sister. Casey tried apologizing after realizing how much she actually hurt her sister, but Emlyn didn’t want to hear it and locked herself in her room until Casey left. When she did Emlyn went to the lair, where she got patched up by the turtles and basically stayed for a few weeks because she didn’t want to see Casey. She didn’t tell them why she was so hurt at first, but eventually, after not sleeping for nearly a whole week because she couldn’t sleep without being reminded of what happened, told them while she was struggling to stay awake. When she did tell them, without being super detailed about what happened, she didn’t have many nightmares about it afterwards. Mikey or Raph would usually comfort her after a nightmare, but whenever they weren’t around it would be Leo who’d comfort her. He didn’t know exactly how to comfort her like Mikey and Raph did so he’d show her some cringy videos or cursed memes, or anything to get her to laugh, which definitely helped her. Though unlike with Raph and Mikey, Emlyn would ask Leo to stay by her side until she fell back asleep, which he would since it was one of the few things they’d really do with each other mainly because was so awkward with him until he got her laughing.
I just realized I’m unintentionally shipping Leo and Emlyn and I don’t know if I want to be a thing because Leo is my favorite of the rottmnt series I’m usually a Raph girl, but I just adore this version of Leo. Anyways, I’m not sure what else to put because I’m basically just rambling off random stuff. I’m completely down with people asking me questions about Emlyn and her relationships with other characters because she’d have to interact with other characters like Splinter, Baron Draxum, Sunita, etc. All questions are accepted as long as they are SFW because yes.

Ayumi Hamasaki Picks:  A Song for ×× era (1998-1999)
Tumblr media
I’ll admit, I avoided A Song for ×× like COVID for way, way too long. Her vocals were hard to adapt to if you had only heard her I am... material and beyond. I personally found her voice high and squeaky; seemingly years and miles away from the Ayu I was introduced to at 14 years of age in 2002. There were a few tracks in their remix form I was able to stomach but otherwise, this album was an Ayumi I didn’t care to know. In fact, you’ll notice on most of these tracks I note that I prefer remixes over originals.
Within the last couple of years, I listened to this album in its entirety and ultimately fell in love. I realized now how important this debut is in considering and appreciating where Ayu started. Yes her sound is relatively high-pitched and un-Western, but it’s endearing AF. This album is able to span both sides of various spectrums: fun and sad, innocent and experienced, light-hearted and heartfelt. It exudes such a compelling, youthful perspective of love and heartbreak that I can’t help but empathize with it. Honestly, I don’t think I would feel the same emotions if this album was recorded with a more mature, older voice.
---
Rating system:
☆☆☆☆ Love - play this at my funeral ☆☆☆ Like - skippable, but still good ☆☆ Meh - this does nothing for me ☆ Hate - I’ve only listened to this once just to confirm I hated it (⭒ you might see these little guys pop up from time to time, which represent a half star because I can’t make up my damned mind)
For a couple of tracks I give two different ratings because sometimes a remixed version is better than the original.
---
A Song for ×× album tracks
Track 1: “Prologue” Rating: ☆☆☆ Like It’s a prelude. Not the best or worst, but a good one.
Track 2: “A Song for ××” Rating: ☆☆☆☆ Love Are you really even an Ayu fan if you don’t like this song? Kidding! But seriously, I think it’s safe to say that this is a very, very important song to Ayumi; if the number of its live performances aren’t an indicator, the drama from even watching one is enough to move you. One of my favorite live performances ever is from her A Museum tour—the a cappella beginning of the first verse and bridge lures you in and forces you to listen, for her only to then blow you away with the booming orchestral intensity of the chorus. GAH! Fuck me up, Ayu!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her “030213 Session #2 Take” re-recording of it on the A BALLADS compilation album provides a more organic, and arguably more powerful listening experience. Though she is older, you still can hear the strength of her despair. Her loneliness and strong façade hasn’t left, but has only changed and grew up with her.
The “Ferry Corsten Chilled Mix” from her first ayu trance album is also a total vibe. Great remix.
Track 3: “Hana” Rating: ☆☆☆ Like I’d file this one under: “the remixes are better than the original.” I mean the original is still a good listen, but the “dub’s trance remix” and acoustic orchestra version give it more oomph and dimension respectively (both are found on the first ayu-mi-x compilation). The lyrics reflect a fear of the relative unknown, or rather, a fear of growing, only to wilt or get stepped on. And I love how her considerably sad and pensive lyrics are backed with lively arrangements; it’s one of the many things I love about her music.
Track 4: “FRIEND” Rating: ☆☆☆☆ Love This 👏🏼 song 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 underrated 👏🏼 OMG do I love this song, it’s so fucking wholesome. This track was the one which truly solidified my love for ASf××. Like if this had a music video, I can totally see it popping up on the Disney channel back in the late ‘90s with Ayu dancing at a beach carnival in a pair of Keds or something. Though this song is not devoid of sadness, there is a bit of hope to it, and it’s just simply, super pure. It’s definitely a personal fave.
Track 5: “FRIEND II” Rating: ☆☆ Meh It’s forgettable... I’m having a hard time trying to remember how it goes. I’m sure if I heard it, I’d be like “Ohhhh yeah!” but my mind is only broken picture links rn.
Okay I’ve listened to it and for some reason I get “Song 4 u” vibes like the very beginning guitar riff sounds like the “S4u” chorus, and even the build to the “FII” chorus is similar, I almost expect “S4u” sung over this. At least she copied herself LOL I mean it’s not a terrible song, but the first FRIEND is the better FRIEND.
Track 6: “poker face” Rating: ☆☆ Meh Yes it’s her first single ev4r so like, it’s all important and shit. But I feel there are better tracks on this album which easily eclipse the song. Though it fits in well with the album as a whole. Perhaps as a single compared to only “FRIEND” it holds its own but honestly, just it being Ayu’s debut song is really the only reason why I even remember it.
Track 7: “Wishing” Rating: ☆☆☆ Like I believe this is the first (and only) slow ballad that pops up on the album, and also believe this was a good foundation laid for the rest of the slow ballads of her career. This song showcases the youth and yearn of her voice very well. Does anyone know if she has even performed this song live?
Track 8: “YOU” Rating: ☆☆ Meh (original); ☆☆☆☆ Love (”Aggressive Mix”) I’ll be real: this original track is boring. Though the “Aggressive Mix” on the first ayu-ro mix album slaps for years and I don’t even really care for Eurobeat. The “FINE MIX” on the ayu-mi-x album is also pretty groovy with that—albeit slow—reggae vibe. I’d argue any remix of this song gives it way more personality and likability.
Confession time: back when cosplay shows at cons were just like a mishmash of skits planned the day of and walk-ons, I thought about actually doing some kind of one-woman interpretive dance to the “Aggressive Mix.” It never happened so you’re welcome.
Track 9: “As if...” Rating: ☆☆☆ Like This is just a good bop. I love the fake-out beginning of the slow piano and then: !!!TATOEBA!!!
Also I really appreciate the bass during the verses, like it goes ~BUM BUM~ every four counts and it’s just something nice and subtle which contributes positively to the song.
Track 10: “POWDER SNOW” Rating: ☆☆☆ Like (original); ☆☆☆☆ Love (acoustic orchestra) Three words: acoustic orchestra version. Are y’all seeing the pattern here? But seriously, this song supported by the simplicity of a haunting piano completely changes the mood of this song for the better. I will agree that the original arrangement has a great buildup, but it doesn’t compare to the emotion of the acoustic version.
Also, do any of you fellow old people remember Kazaa? When I was Ayu-curious, I was looking for random songs to download and the acoustic orchestra version of “POWDER SNOW” was one of the first songs I ever downloaded (maybe that plays into my bias).
Honestly, now that I think about it, it might have been Morpheus at the time...
Track 11: “Trust” Rating: ☆☆☆ Like Also one of the first songs I ever heard from Ayu, so I like it for nostalgic reasons. Otherwise I would have relegated this to the ‘meh’ pile.
This is one of the first Japanese songs I ever learned to sing, so I gotta give credit to my 14-year-old self.
Track 12: “Depend on you” Rating: ☆⭒ M— (I don’t hate it, but don’t not hate it enough to warrant the full ‘Meh’) This song is overrated :D The only good thing to come from this single is “Two of us.” Next!
Track 13: SIGNAL Rating: ☆☆⭒ Meh-eh? Well...? It’s a good track, I respect it. Not as memorable as the other songs but it fits well in the album. A good filler song.
Track 14: “from your letter” Rating: ☆☆☆ Like The very beginning with the snaps and twinkly sounds are pretty cool. The song is enjoyable and calls for some shoulder moving at least. There was a remix on AHS a long time ago by sleeperspaceborn which was pretty damned good, and in fact made me like this song.
Track 15: “For My Dear...” Rating: ☆☆☆⭒ Like Like  Here for the drama and the high notes, shoot it straight into my bloodstream and do not resuscitate. The Acoustic Version is also a great remix, I love how she sounds like she’s screaming over the piano and guitar.
Track 16: “Present” Rating: ☆☆ Meh Like “FRIEND II” I can’t remember this song...
Ah there it is! *proceeds to forget again*
Non-album tracks:
“Two of us” Rating: ☆☆☆☆ Love I absolutely l-o-v-e this song right down to the cheesy, slow dance prom-y feel to it. Hell, even the “touch of mahogany mix” is one of the best remixes; I dare you not to at least bob your head when you hear it. This song can only be found on the Depend on You single and it’s a damn shame it didn’t make it to the ASf×× album. However maybe this can be considered her first slow ballad... but again, solid foundation. The lyrics are once again so pain-ridden and sorrowful, but then when you hear it against that funky rhythm on the “touch of mahogany mix,” you can’t help but submit to the dissonance of snapping along while in tears.
Also Xelakad provided an ah-mazing remix of this song on AHS a while back too. It seriously turns this song into a spiritual experience.
---
Average era rating: ☆☆☆ Like
If I could describe this album in two words, they would be: cohesive and precious. Yes her lyrics reflect hurt, rejection, and cynicism, but against the pop rock beats and her high voice, the album maintains an element of innocence. I believe it was a strong and consistent debut relative to her discography, as we are introduced to a young and weary Ayu who’s uncertain about the future, of love, of herself... *le sigh*
But let’s tie everything up in a nice pretty bow. For the list of Ayu’s creative bests, the common denominator is how much I really loved the drama and uniqueness of the tracks. Given that Ayu’s music style quickly evolved after this album, we conceivably don’t and won’t hear any songs like these ever again, and that’s why they’re just special.
The ‘Loves’ (only in order of track listing): A Song for ×× FRIEND POWDER SNOW (Acoustic Orchestra) YOU “Aggressive Mix” Two of us
Ayu’s creative bests: A Song for ×× POWDER SNOW (Acoustic Orchestra) For My Dear... Two of us

Infinite List of Beginner-Friendly Anime Recs: Trigun
Tumblr media
"I am known as Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gombigobilla Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre Andri Charton-Haymoss Ivanovici Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser III. Don't hesitate to call."
tl;dr I questioned someone’s recommendation for someone else’s first anime on the basis that people who are unused to anime might like something that’s less than 20 hours long and tells one complete story within the first hour or so, and 20,000 words later I decided to make my own post(s) because I clearly had Feelings
26 x 30 minute episodes + 1 x 90 minute movie | watch it: netflix (?) | hulu | amazon prime | funimation
insurance agents go looking for a legendary outlaw in the Wild West But IN SPACE (tm) so that they can accurately estimate how much damage is caused by this humanoid natural disaster. damage still accrues.
Follow the Read More for more convincing and trigger warnings (to my best recollection)
Features:
less “space western” and more “western in the space”. Other than some pieces of Lost Technology (TM) this is a pretty standard rooty tooty mcshooty until you get into the Worldbuilding
the fact that the primary cast consists of one lovable doofus who just Doesn’t Know Why Everyone Keeps Shooting At Me and two insurance adjusters who are following him around to try and keep track of how much damage he causes still cracks me the fuck up
the best excused recap episode of all time re: they’re insurance adjusters. they have to SEND the rePORT ahahahahaha brb dying
one of the official summaries called Vash “more doofus than desperado” and like. yeah. yeah. you get it.
you thought Aang’s Technical Pacifism was good but Vash manages to not kill people while creating a torrential rain of bullets. For real. If you like the idea of action movies but hate seeing blood, most of this show is gonna be excellent for you and the rest is gonna be okay to good.
Wolfwood. Just. Give me this midwestern hick priest with his drive by confessional and his money grubbing ways and his heart of gold (ThInK oF tHe ChIlDrEn) and his literal cross to bear (do not google because spoilers but yeah) and his somehow keeping up with Vash when Vash has been an impossibly skilled fighter for like 8 episodes so far. Yeah he’s only in like two episodes. He’s still a great character!
pretty much every recurring character is Wholesome As Fuck and I’m here for it. Tons of quotable moments about how you can never give up and you have to keep moving forward and the inherent coolness of people and yeah. Just a good uplifting show with a whole lot of wasted bullets.
that time Vash has to pretend to actually be every rumor that has ever been spread about him and immediately starts singing “ladee dadee died~ genocide~ ladee dadee dud~ an ocean of blood~ let’s begin the killing times” because he is actually a five year old sometimes and i love him so much
impeccable animation, character design, sound work, etc would I recommend you something that would be painful to enjoy? I mean I guess you wouldn’t know, I could have outstandingly bad tastes, but no you cannot go wrong.
“Repeat after me: This world is made of! Love! And! Peace!”
I might say “x anime did better in the US in Japan” with more or less accuracy, but Trigun abso fucking lutely did so well in the US it got a movie over a decade later because that’s how long it took for dubs to come out back in the late nineties and early aughts. Surprise surprise, Westerns do better in the West. It’s also got the violence porn balanced with a specific precious moralizing that vibes well with a predominantly Christian audience balanced with genuinely awesome humor. Trigun truly is the anime for people who don’t like anime.
Watch Out For:
General warning for violence, guns being the answer to every problem, mostly implied body horror, at least one serial killer, this might be the show with the (implied?) cannibalism someone fact check me, child endangerment (to be fair it’s the child doing the endangering by sneaking in where he isn’t wanted), alcoholism, and general rough times. There’s something really poignant that’s escaping about how God abandoned the world but us humans don’t have that luxury, it’s that kind of setup.
Honestly special shout out for the specifically very accurately Christian proselytizing considering that it’s a Japanese production and as a rule Xtian imagery in anime tends to be used like, say, grecoroman imagery in Hollywood. Occasionally accurate but usually just kind of generalized meh. It was a plus for the overall production but if you’re on my blog it might be a minus for you.
Episode 4 to the point that it’s regarded as borderline ooc. A woman is tied up in such a way that she’s dangling from the ceiling and Vash makes a beeline to try and see up her skirt. It’s an obvious gag and nothing is shown iirc (to be fair I only watched the broadcast version), but I know some folks would like the warning especially after the previous point. It’s a shame because the rest of the episode is really good, it’s an adaptation of the pilot chapter that got Trigun greenlit, but the scene is fairly standalone so should be skippable. Just look for Vash’s eager puppy look and go forward about two minutes.
Millie Tommygun, being the cheerful, optimistic one of the two main girls, can be treated kind of shittily by the narrative, which is hilarious considering Vash’s Whole Everything. I think Millie has internalized the idea that she’s the stupid one to Meryl’s Sarcastic Genius, but also Millie’s the one who figured out who Vash is first and just generally the one who calls people out on their bullshit, with a smile, which is literally their jobs. She’s never unlikable, though, unlike Meryl who needs to defrost to Vash’s Whole Everything despite having Millie for a friend. Perhaps they only just met on this assignment? Otherwise idk why Meryl ain’t used to it yet, probably some heterosexual bullshit.
Any time Knives is in the summary. Remember that “at least one serial killer” yeah that’s Knives et al. Shit has to get darker before you can see the light shining through.
Overall Trigun is such a good anime. It’s just. Have you ever wondered what Avatar the Last Airbender would be like if it was an East Asian author writing about Western tropes? Now you know.

Over the summer, I watched Good Omens in Italian and made a post about it to compare and contrast
And then I did the same with French and FINALLY got around to make sense of my notes. Here they are, enjoy the laughs.
Good Omens in French is Bons Présages which is a literal translation.
French shows/movies/books always seem to do literal translations of things (see Harry Potter)
Crowley’s name goes from Rampant (something that CRAWls) to Rampa.
God, although voiced by a female sounding actor, is referred as tout puissant (male) and not toutE puissantE (female)
At least Crowley and Aziraphale use tu around each other instead of using the formal vous. (Listen, the number of shows/movies where 2 characters are friends, but because of the age dynamic they get downed to vous – it’s annoying. I’m glad 6000 yrs of friendship meant they could use tu.)
Agnes Nutter’s last name is Barge
The way Crowley greets Hastur and Ligur “hey salut les gars” it’s so casual lamao
When they’re going through the deeds of the day Crowley goes on to say “oké vous allez adorer – j’ai fait bugger tous les réseaux” he sounds so pleased
Ciao remains but (according to my old notes – I don’t remember but this is what I wrote like this summer) apparently they go on to say that it means poule (chicken) and not food (so the ciao –chow pun is lost)
The person from hell who comes through on Crowley’s radio (I was never sure who that was supposed to be) but anyways, that person, they use darling and in French it was translated as mon choux, which is cute and also really funny.
The Japanese bit was not translated (so it’s still Michael Sheen we hear say the one Japanese line)
French also does not have another word for cookie (cookie and biscuit – which is funny because in French the word used for cookie is biscuit) ANYWAYS so Sister Mary L says cookie but with a French accent.
 Aziraphael sounds like Azirafal.
When Aziraphale asks Crowley what he wants to do next (or whatever the line was) and Crowley goes des litres, des fleuves, des océans d’alcool (litres, rivers, oceans of alcool)
The drunk scene deserves a special mention
Personal opinion: but Crowley’s VA grows more on you than Aziraphale’s VA. They both sound much younger than D. Tennant and M. Sheen. Sometimes the French VAs don’t... fit lol and fall a bit flat.
 Éternitéééééééééé
 Aziraphale’s “oh doux Jésus”
Their voices as Nanny and brother Francis were sad.
Warlock’s voice at age 5 was also sad.
However warlock calls Nanny “Nounou” and that’s cute
When Nanny sings the lullaby in French – bless them they tried lamao
When Aziraphale does the practice magic trick to Crowley, Crowley goes on to complain and say “c’est toi que j’vais faire disparaître” and it’s a gem
JEANNOT LE LAPIN BLANC (when Aziraphale presents his white rabbit) it’s a Gift.
 The Them = les Eux
In her cottage = dans son cottage (did you even try)
When God asks Aziraphale for the sword and Aziraphale describes it as it’s “machin coupant très aiguisé”
Aziraphale uses vous for God, but God uses tu.
John and Virtue Device à John et Virtue Bidule (another one of those literal translations.)
Ok but this one annoyed me. Anathema’s name got changed to Anatheme and like sometimes I get it it’s cause of the way words are pronounced so when you dub you gotta find things that fit the movement of the lips as much as but Anatheme does NOT fit with Anathema. ALSO IT’S THE PERSON’S NAME. LIKE. (Re: see Harry Potter again.) aNYWAys.
Dick Turpin gets changed to Jesse Janes ????
Grow better is “et vous les filles, continuer de POUSSER” (so the plants get referred to as “girls”)
Mme. Tracy’s line about the refined gentlemen (or whatever it is) is aux gentlemen avertis.
 Du beebop.
When they return to the convent Crowley says “j’me demande où sont passés les nuns” he could have sais soeurs insteand of nuns.
Aziraphale tells Crowley “tu es un gentil garçon » (you are a nice boy)
Oh lord heal this bike à oh seigneur, réparez ce vélo
Angel is sometimes mon ange and I’m die. (My angel.)
The scene in Rome when Crowley asks “qu’est-ce que vous avez à boire?” He sounds So Done
My dear fellow = mais mon cher camarade (my dear comrade lol)
When they’re complaining about horses during the Shakespeare scene = oh aye aye les chevaux ça fait mal aux fesses
 Headquarters = maison mère
The whole Bastille scene with the Jean Claude is lost because they’re already talking French
Another transformation of angel is angelot (small angel)
The description of the head cutting machine is une énorme machine coupeuse de têtes
Pear shapped = boudain (really not the same thing.)
 Obviously = manifestement
During the Blitz scene, when Aziraphale is Super Proud he double crossed the Germans he goes on saying “vous vous petes faites pigeonner! Allez, hop, hop, hop”
The German bit was kept as is
When Crowley is tap dancing through the church, the French VA makes some key noises
You go too fast for me = Tu roules trop vite pour moi (two things; the delivery of the line falls flat and tu roules is literally a driving reference so it’s like more car feeling than like moving in life)
When Anathema offers the Them lemonade they translated it to citronade, instead of limonade. And I don’t get it.
 Wicked = mortel (Deadly)
When Shadwell mimics Aziraphale’s pip pip it’s something along the lines of hop hop hop espèce de tonton Suisse ????? I’m never sure what he says, but just – it’s a riot.
I don’t even like you = je ne t’appréci même pas (I don’t appreciate you)
But then Crowley’s you dooo is tu m’adores which, is you adore me and I lost it.
I’m soft = je ne suis pas un guerrier (I am not a warrior) and wow, okay, not the same, not the same impact. 0/10
Michael sounds more like Mi-ka-el and meh ok.
When Crowley talks to God when he’s having a minor existential crisis it – doesn’t deliver as much.
 Adam uses vous for Anathema
When Pepper realises whales have got the good life she says “oh purée, j’ai trop envie d’être une baleine” (France French expressions are sometimes a whole riot on their own)
Avocado was changed to amandes (almonds and I don’t know why)
One big avocado = ce sera bientôt la fin des amandes (it’ll soon be the end of the almonds) re : ??
You smell like poo = vous sentez vraiment la merde
Crowley’s I’ve got an old friend here = tu tombes mal, j’ai d’la visite (I’ve got visit)
Uriel tells Aziraphale “ton p’tit copain aux lunettes fumées” which is your little boyfriend with the dark sunglasses lamao
Bandes de..... méchants anges! = you bad angels! It sounds more petulant though.
The whole wrong shop allusion is lost in translation
You stupid man = espèce de crétin
Oh fuck = oh merde (really not the same intensity lol)
The emotion and distress in the dire scene is l o s t . L
When Crowley is in the bar and he asks for another bottle he asks for la p’tite soeur which means the little sister.
When Crowley is like Aziraphale is that really you (when his ghost-spirit-nebulous appearance shows up in the bar) it sounds more disbelieving? But like in a what the hell is going on and less in awe/relief??
Get a wiggle on = remuage des fesses (fesses is butt)
 Pollution sounds very young.
The 3 other horse people use vous for death
They had the French VA of Aziraphale say the spreichen ze deutsch bit and He Tried.
 Wahoo = woow
Not just the southern pansy, THE southern pansy bit = pas simplement une tantouze sudiste, mon chéri, je suis LA tantouze sudiste
A)     He sounds so very pleased with himself
B)      And flirty?? Come hither??
C)      It’s perf
D)     Tantouze sudiste = a vulgar term for a homosexual man
Shadwell uses vous for Mme. Tracy
Cowwley = Rampra (when Lisa the insurance girl calls)
 Car = caisse
When Adam yells his life to get evil out of him or whatever, in the flashback sequence when Ms. Young speaks to Adam when he was born, she speaks to him in French (not like in the Italian version where they just – did not translate that bit.)
Crowley sounds very suave when he tells Aziraphale in Mme. Tracy’s body that he’ll take care of it when the military dude won’t let them through.
Dagon à je suis présent not présente (so Dagon uses male words?? pronouns??)
You were a good car – t’étais une caisse d’enfer
Kick/lick some serious butt à brouter quelques derrières
When Aziraphale tells Crowley they should wait before offing Adam the exchange is hilarious
It’s Aziraphale: Peut-être qu’on devrait attendre (maybe we should wait)
Crowley : Qu’il ait le droit de vote? (That he could vote?)
Vous vous êtes rien vous êtes trop naz, Pepper
I believe in peace, bitch à Moi je crois en la paix pétasse LOL
They only buzzed Beelzeebub’s voice for their last line before Satan appears
Crowley at Adam ok mon garçon
Adam uses vous for Satan his dad, but then uses tu for him for t’es pas mon père lol
Le truc cest que tas pu dcamp mon vieux – moi non plus dailleurs
Their voices when they’re pretending to be each other
Tickity boo à tout va très bien
Je te rappelle que je suis un putain d’archange (I’m the archangel fucking Gabriel – or whatever that line was lol)
Shut your stupid mouth and die already à Tu vas te la fermer ta grande bouche et te décider à mourir
Beelzebu : il est revenu à ses origines – il a changé de bord instead of he’s gone native
Miiichael mon pot, tu m’fais un p’tit miracle j’ai pas de serviette à When Aziraphael as Crowley asks Michael for a towel.

Alaric Head cannons (Lactarius x Valerius son)
I realize I haven’t talked much about Alaric so here are some headcannons! Enjoy! (I will probably add more later)
As a child Lactarius and Valerius made sure that he grew up with a foot in both sides of Vesuivia. One being the wealthy/noble (Valerius) and the other being lower caste/working class (Lactarius).
Books! Loves books! Fairytales are his favorites.
Taking after Lactarius, Alaric is skilled in green/hedge and illusion magic. Little Alaric loves helping his Da’s vineyard grow! “Da the plant is sick! I’ll help!” Valerius was confused/terrified when little Alaric would wonder about the vineyard talking to “faes”. Lactarius was the proudest Momma when Alaric came walking into her study his little body covered in a flickering illusion cast of Nadia. The little boy announcing he wouldn’t be going to bed because he was the Countess.
Alaric style is a mix of both his parents. He’s not afraid to get dirty or go help a farmer wrangle up a herd of sheep that got loose, but screw you if he’s getting his fresh pressed suit ruined!
Speaking of style: EVERY suit/vest he owns has four large metal eyelets sewed into them. Why? Well he was a bit of a wild child and got into trouble almost daily. Most of the time Lactarius was the one to save him and trying to get a squirming toddler and yourself off the palace rooftop called for desperate measures. Hence after the first ruined suit jacket Valerius had put in a special request to have four metal eyelets sewn into their son’s wardrobe.

He’s terrified of large open water. When he was seven a pair of noble bullies tried to drown him in the palace fountain at a party. Alaric was classified as dead for one minute. But was unconscious for a day. He developed a bit of a tick. He doesn’t mind water he can see the bottom in (Ex. Baths, a small knee deep stream.) but getting that boy on a boat....good luck! Ironically he is a strong swimmer! Lactarius and Valerius made sure he knew how to swim, but unfortunately the bullies ruined swimming for Alaric.
As an adult Alaric is into the arts. Theatre and singing to be exact. So as an aspiring young actor he works part time at the Vesuvian Theatre. But also.....he has a knack for herbology and loves wood working. Being the Consul and Court Magicians only child and after the drowning incident at age thirteen he studied and learned how to craft different items. His beloved lute he made himself slowly became more than just a lute over the years as he tweaked and perfected it. Two words: Crossbow Lute! Alaric isn’t a fan of senseless killing or even killing for that matter. So he came up with a brilliant solution, what is worse than death? Having a low dose aphrodisiac inside you, mixed with the right proportions of certain herbs that make the victim have a serious case of blue balls. Muwhahaha!
Alaric is Asexual. Sure he loves his cuddles. And doesn’t pass up a chance to kiss a pretty face (be they male, female, or non-binary). But doing the do? Meh......... That being said. He has had a tumble in the sheets. He accidentally shot a florist daughter with one of his darts while performing at a festival. He may be Ace but he is still a gentleman and won’t run from a mistake he made. (Afterwards he had the nickname The Satyr of Vesuvia dubbed to him, he hates it.)
Being so close to his parents when Alaric moved out of his parents estate he actually purchased some land on the other side of the thick woodland behind their estate. Eventually with the help of local carpenters and builders he built his own little whimsical home. And after a year of work and mapping out the safest route, he built a small pathway through the woods linking their two properties together.

Movie Review: Cats (Spoilers)
Tumblr media
Spoiler Warning: I am posting this review the day after the movie first airs in the U.K, so if you haven’t yet seen the movie don’t read on.
General Reaction:
Tumblr media
First of all I want to put out there that I believe the success or failure of this movie Tom Hooper and how he's adapted the screenplay of Cats to transition from stage to screen, because I feel the negativity this movie is already getting are coming in two waves. From the general movie goer and then from fans of the stage musical.
Where I stand is as a casual movie goer in this instance but also a fan of musical theatre, so much so that my attire for this movie is somewhat Macavity inspired, although someone did say that my collar was very Rum Tum Tugger...I'm okay with that.
But to clarify, I have never seen the stage production of Cats. All I knew about it even leading up to the release of this movie was the one big song Memory and that I liked the look of the costumes.
Now with my relationship with the property explained, did I like this movie? Well I enjoyed parts of it. It’s a little bit like how I felt about The Rise of Skywalker, but while I thought the latest Star Wars was outwardly a hot mess with some enjoyable aspects, Cats is more of a “Not really knowing how to feel about it” type of movie.
There are some really great takeaways from this movie, and I feel again depending on the individual’s relationship with this property and musicals in general, will determine exactly what those takeaways are.
What’s Good:
Alright so this is what I found good/enjoyable, again I can’t decide whether or not I think this movie is good but these elements definitely are.
Costumes:
So I am going to start with the costumes because they're probably my favourite thing about the movie.
I enjoyed how for those who had costumes, because not every cat did, that they at least gave those cats a sense of identity; Macavity was one of these shady mysterious characters that you would come across in a dark alley and his clothes reflected that, Mr. Mistoffelees was a magical tuxedo cat and so dressed as a magician. Bustopher was an aristocratic cat, or Aristocat...sorry I had to go there as there are two Aristocat references in this movie, and Grizabella was a glamour cat but had been shunned and therefore sleeping rough possibly, this is all reflected in the clothing and it's fabulous.
The only outfit I didn't really get was Jennyanydots, I did find it funny that she had to unzip the one cat suit to reveal this pink almost work out outfit but I didn't understand the point of it.
Visual Effects:
As for the CGI used on the "digital fur", I appreciate the artistic stance Hooper and company took with the movie because, frankly I wouldn't expect anything less from the guy that directed both Les Miserables and The King's Speech, however, I did not really understand the need for digital fur as for a large portion of the movie they all just look like they’re wearing practical catsuits, and again with Rebel Wilson’s character when she unzips the one to reveal the other, which she does twice, you can tell it’s supposed to be a real suit.
That being said, from when you first see these cats during the opening number, you can see the payoff to these visual effects. They look genuinely like cats and all have markings that try to differentiate them. I didn’t know from the trailers that Victoria had markings on her I just thought she was a plain white cat but she looks almost snow leopardesk.
I also really enjoyed how they showed Macavity’s apparent ability to transport himself and/or others with that gold dust effect that was later used as Bombalurina’s (Taylor Swift’s) catnip to incapacitate the other cats.
Musical Numbers:
So I’m going to talk about the songs at the end as I do with all musical reviews but the actual productions of these numbers were fantastic. From the choreography to the cinematography of them, this was a very low on dialogue movie as literally at one point you have I believe three songs in solid succession with only one or two lines of actual dialogue in between them, so the actual musical numbers had to be impressive and for the most part they were.
There were never any numbers I was embarassed or cringing while watching, I do have my favourites and my not so favourites which again I will get into further down, but as I say everything from the choreography, cinematography to even the actors giving it their all during the numbers made them enjoyable for me.
Cast:
That brings me nicely on to my final good thing which is the cast, who as I said take this production seriously. I remembered seeing an interview with Judi Dench about this movie recently and she said that when acting as a cat the cast don’t know what the end result will be like because I imagine the actual visual effects of the cat appearance is put in after the filming.
Regardless of this, all these actors from the most seasoned such as Sir Ian McKellen and Dame Judi Dench to the younger more inexperienced like leading lady Francesca Hayward and even Jason Derulo who is of course a seasoned singer, but hasn’t really acted before, give it everything and take the role and universe they now inhabit so seriously that it never feels gimmicky or uncomfortable in that regards.
Do I think this movie has awards chances for acting? No because again the movie is mostly sung, I believe more so than Les Mis, but for costume, music and visual effects I’d definitely think they have a chance of at least a nomination.
What’s Meh:
Alright so nothing is outrightly or offensively bad in this movie, again thinking back to Star Wars yesterday which had blatant issues, this doesn’t really have that but when it does it’s not as glaring or as troublesome as Star Wars was.
The Story:
I say the story is meh because I still don’t really understand it, what my takeaway is that there effectively a talent competition night where Judi Dench’s decides which cat will ascend to this higher realm and be reborn into another life...
That’s great...but for the one who is chosen...does that mean they die? The very definition of “reborn” usually means reincarnation which means you need to die first...so when they send the cat off in that chandelier attached to that hot air balloon, does that cat die? From oxygen starvation?
Also, they practically cement this movie as taking place in 1930s London and you see the feet of one human and hear the voice of another so this is Earth just including these particular cats, so how does no one notice a hot air balloon attached to a chandelier floating through the sky? I don’t know if the 1930s had satellites or anything but something should have picked that up?
My final point is on the term “Jellicle Cats”, I still don’t know what a Jellicle cat actually is, they don’t exactly do their best at defining what one is despite the fact they have several songs containing the word “Jellicle”. “Jellicle Cat” “Jellicle Moon” and “Jellicle Ball” just to name a few.
I mean for fans of the stage show, they may have more of an understanding because maybe that explains the term better but in terms of trying to get non-Cats fans interested...not explaining what is clearly a core concept of the movie is a bit of a misstep.
The Ending:
Of everything in this movie, the ending monologue by Judi Dench was the only thing I felt was a little bit cringeworthy. First of all, I understand the musical Cats is based on a series of poems and I also understand this ending message is about being nice to cats, but I just didn’t think it was either necessary or needed.
Also the fact that Macavity was so easily thwarted, I mean I know musicals don’t have to have the big dramatic endings for its villains but for Macavity to literally try and hitchhike on Grizbella’s ride into the great beyond only to fall and just land on the roof without any consequences aside from maybe the loss of his powers? It was a bit of a damp ending.
The Cats:
Okay so we’ve talked about what’s good and meh, now going into the cats as characters. Not a full blown character analysis breakdown but, like my song section, in sections in order of my favourites.
Tumblr media
By far my favourite cats were Macavity and Grizabella, Idris Elba as the villainous Macavity was great in the trailers and great here. As I stated before his outfit really added another layer to his performance, he has the right acting chops to be this type of villain. I still haven’t seen Hobbs & Shaw but have heard similar praise for his role there.
Tumblr media
Grizabella meanwhile, is Jennifer Hudson...enough said. I loved her in Dreamgirls and I love her here. I do see similarities between her character and Anne Hathaway’s character in Les Mis particularly with their big emotional songs but I enjoyed the backstory to her character here.
Tumblr media
I would also say Mistoffelees and Victoria do a great job. While not my favourites it is almost as if we are seeing the world from Francesca Hayward’s eyes. I know she’s supposed to be a kitten but I never believed her as such. Mistoffelees meanwhile had his moment to shine towards the end of the movie and was one of the more compelling characters from the trailers.
The veteran staples Judi Dench and Ian McKellen were great in this movie, as they always are. I know Dench’s role was gender-bent from the stage show but I think she works better as a female character. Theatre Gus meanwhile is a great example of the old thespians who maybe once had their time but are just looking for another spotlight.
Tumblr media
James Corden, Jason Derulo and Ray Winstone were all surprises for me here. I knew the first two could sing but I found Bustopher’s aristocratic nature hilarious and he really lifted the mood when he came in. Rum Tum Tugger meanwhile is dubbed “the curious cat” however by the end of his song I went from thinking he was curious to just suffering with ADHD. As for Ray Winstone, it’s Ray Winstone as a cat! It’s fantastic!
Then there are the iffy cats, namely Bombalurina, Jennyanydots and Munkustrap. Munkustrap is possibly the least offensive but that’s because his role in the movie is the same as in the stage show which is narrator. It did annoy me that he effectively butted in to a lot of people’s songs but again as narrator I guess that’s his job.
Tumblr media
Rebel Wilson as Jennyanydots, as I said before, really confused me in terms of her outfit. I don’t understand why she didn’t just wear the pink suit and that be it instead of having to unzip the one catsuit to reveal this other catsuit. I mean I guess it helped them later in the film but still. Also the fact she wanted a different life to get out of that kitchen? Why was she trapped in the kitchen?
Tumblr media
As for Taylor Swift, if you’ve seen her in the trailers you’ve pretty much seen her scenes. Bombalurina is literally in this movie for one scene and it is for Macavity’s musical number. She is seen once more in a slightly later scene but then it’s never quite explained what becomes of her.
Songs:
Alright so here we go with the songs of the movie, grouped in order of the songs I loved, the songs I liked, and the songs I thought were...okay.
Tumblr media
My favourites, again, were “Macavity”, “Memory” and “Bustopher Jones: The Cat About Town”. “Memory” is the only thing I knew and adored about this musical prior to this movie. The song speaks to me both as a musical fan and just a fan of great music. When I knew Jennifer Hudson would be performing it I already knew I’d love it.
Tumblr media
“Macavity” is a very catchy song and Taylor Swift really works it. It’s not quite jazzy but it is close enough and the fact Elba also has some involvement in the song is great because I know he does also sing as a side gig. I thought it was a great character introduction despite the fact we have seen him throughout the movie.
Tumblr media
“Bustopher Jones” was just a very fun and uplifting number, I loved James Corden’s aristocratic accent and how he moved around the streets even as fat as the character is. Interestingly I know Corden isn’t that fat anymore but again he was comfortable in himself to play it so I loved him for that.
The songs I liked were “The Rum Tum Tugger”, “Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer” and “Skimbleshanks: The Railway Cat”. All three were brilliant production pieces, “Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer” was a great romp of a song, Jason Derulo brought his all to “The Rum Tum Tugger” and tap-dancing in any production will win me over let alone a tap-dancing cat.
The other songs I thought were okay on a varying scale, I don’t know why but Rebel Wilson didn’t win me over as she usually does. I think the production of her song was very off-putting. The mice with child faces and the cockroaches with female faces didn’t really work.
The others were very well sung but didn’t quite stick with me as the already mentioned ones did. Also “Beautiful Ghosts” was penned as Taylor Swift’s original song for the movie so I presumed her character would sing it, but the new girl Victoria did in the movie while Swift sang it over the credits...
Recommendation:
We’ve finally reached the end, okay so if you saw the trailers and were not one of the many haters who trolled the movie for its use of CGI and are interested in the story then go and see it because you will get something out of it. If you’re a fan of the stage production then I would still say see it because it allows you to form your own opinion.
If you are simply a casual movie-goer who wants an enjoyable two and a half hours then I would still recommend to go and see it but be prepared to be slightly confused if you don’t know what to expect.
Overall I rate this movie a 5/10, it was enjoyable and roughly 40-50% of this movie does work really well, it’s just the rest of it that needed more attention to detail in my opinion.
So that’s my review of Cats, what did you guys think? Post your comments and check out more Movie Reviews as well as other reviews and posts.

I don't know if you have been asked this before ( if you have them sorry QnQ I haven't read all the questions and answers yet) if don't... What are your thoughts of panchito? And your thoughts about his relationship with Jose? or Donald? ( both...?) Or Clara... ?( I don't ship him with her but that's just my personal opinion)
no problem!! i like answering these lol
i love panchito! i love him as much as i love jose, I can’t pick a favourite. he’s such a good character in the three caballeros movie, full of energy and mischief but also displays very soft gestures and tender displays of affection towards jose and donald. i’m not sure how to explain it but he has a very interesting rhythm… he sings that long, upbeat high note of “ay jalisco no te rajes”, then quietly explains what a piñata is to donald ; then they play the piñata game where he laughs and is full of mischief, then quiets down to calmly talk about the mexican flag…. i always thought despite his loudness, trigger happy tendancies, and easily excitable personality, he’s capable of being a very cool and dependable person. and I think it’s great to have someone like that when you get stuck with all the bad luck and your name is donald duck.
in paul murry’s comics he was…. he sure was something. i think he was too much actually LOL. these are fun comics, but I’m not a fan of him and jose hating each other. this panchito lacks gentleness.i’m not very familiar with dutch comics, but I love the prospect of panchito as a lone cow-boy. it fits him, fills a role no one else really had in duck comics, and gives him some lore he lacked compared with jose.later appearances of panchito in animation (house of mouse, roadster racers, minnie bow toons, and ducktales 2017) are….super bland and boring imo.house of mouse has the merit of giving us “my name is panchito”- i find it genuinely cute and fun and I’ll take all the lore I can get- plus “panchito romero miguel junipero …….” stuck in later appearances, I find that sweet! (in roadster racers and legend of the three caballeros)in minnie bow toons he has a very short appearance, but he’s accompanied by a white rooster fans latched on, and I really want panchito to have a supporting cast like donald and jose have, so I appreciate this short cameo nonetheless (now as to who is that white rooster….. it’s My Headcanon Zone lol i like to think it’s his twin bro)but apart from this all these later appearances tend to lump him with jose and make them a unit instead of letting them be character of their own. i dislike the lack of individuality, i dislike them portrayed as ~donald’s exotic friends~, and I was beyond disappointed that ducktales perpetuated that trend. that DT episode also felt very mean to donald, when you know, caballeros appearances tend to be when donald catches a break. and god knows DT donald needs a break. (HoM also failed this and it sucks)
in legend of the three caballeros he’s his very own character, and it’s a very different take from what panchito has been so far, but personally I love him as the dumb muscle. LOTTC did a great job establishing distinct roles to all three caballeros, and made them all unique and loveable. I was taken aback by him being a cuckoolander at first, but it works, and I love him. jaime camil’s performance was also great and refreshing!
on that topic, I also like carlos alazraqui’s performance as panchito. I guess he’s trying to sound like joaquin garay while jaime camil did his own thing, and both takes are valid in my opinion. alazraqui still dubs panchito in parks, where in addition to gran fiesta tour, panchito was part of great shows such as max live in DLP, party gras in TDL, and mickey’s most merriest celebration in MK. panchito in parks is suuuper cute, super fluffy, and I had amazing interactions everytime I met him, 10/10 cutie (i’m seeing him and jose again in september and i’m super excited!)
as for shipping, my big otp is jose/donald/panchito together! seeing jose/panchito, jose/donald or donald/panchito while excluding the third caballero always makes me sad haha. they are birds of a feather!! three gay caballeros! it says so in the song!! don’t separate them! ;_;panchito brings joy and color into donald’s life, like I said before donald is able to catch a rare deserved break from his misfortune and mistreatment from scrooge/daisy/gladstone/the entirety of duckburg when he’s with jose and panchito…and in my opinion panchito is the driving force of the trio, taking initiative and bringing enthusiasm… it’s something donald needs imo and it can give donald perspective on tackling life more positively when he feels depressed.with jose i always think their relationship must have had a rough start (maybe influenced by early comics lol) because I picture panchito as a very lawful person and jose as a conman. add in LOTTC’s characterization of panchito as being simple minded and  you get a perfect victim for jose’s schemes. but panch can also acts as the brakes jose needs when he goes too far, and they are both cheery people with a positive outlook on life, they share hobbies like singing and making music, and both love donald so, despite their differences I imagine them ending up with a deep bond ;v;
panchito/clara is. gnhn hetero nonsense. boy chicken and girl chicken??? ok they must be in love. that’s all their is to it. the one comic where they meet as him being super oblivious and cruel to her, so ????? meh.
oh my god i wrote a wall of text i’m so sorry anyways ! i love one chicken !

Just watched Aladdin and to me this is the best live action Disney has done.
The music the choreography the scenery the costumes and even the special effects were great.
Naomi and Mena were perfect and Will Smith made the genie his.
Jafar was a bit meh especially at the beginning but at the end was good enough.
Anyway I loved it and I felt really excited through all of it.
Ps I am gay and weak and seeing Naomi singing her heart out with teary eyes and those vein popping from her neck damn girl she really went there.
I need to listen to the original song bc I want to hear Naomi's voice but the dub was pretty good.

So the 1951 musical Showboat is a thing. It’s considered a classic MGM production filled with song and dance, racism, flashy costumes and large sets. It’s one of the few MGM musicals I hadn’t seen and put off for ages because honestly I have no interest watching people sing on a steamer. It was movie #2 from the list (I had just finished Lili and thought I could breeze through another musical) and found I was correct in my prejudice... it’s not that great. Showboat feels dated and over-the-top, it personifies every cliche and trope that keep movie fans (particularly men) from exploring old musicals. Does it have inexplicably long dance numbers? ☑️ Do you feel the need to fast forward to skip over some unneeded songs? ☑️ Is there loud, over-the-top singing? (I’m looking at you Howard Keel and Kathryn Grayson) ☑️ The best part of the whole movie is William Warfield’s rendition of Ol’ Man River and close behind it is Ava Gardner’s rendition of Bill. Which brings me to my next point. I had no idea Gardner could sing and guessed she must have had a voice double. I kept on thinking, it sounds just like Lena Horne. Turns out the part was originally set for Horne but studio execs didn’t want a black actress (again racism) playing Julie, even though the character is half black, half white. Gardner was close friends with Horne and, apparently feeling guilty, tried to mimic her singing style for the character. But then Gardner didn’t meet the execs expectations and she was dubbed by Annette Warren who tried to mimic Gardner’s performance. So Julie’s voice is an imitation of an imitation of Lena Horne. Crazy. I was also surprised to learn that there are multiple film adaptions of this Jerome Kern, Oscar Hammerstein musical, with critics disagreeing on which version is best, but this review is already too long to discuss that and I’m ready to dock this boat in its harbor. Basically, if you’re a big fan of musicals check out Showboat but if you’re not, you’ve already done enough reading this Insta post. #bye #showboat #meh #avagardner #howardkeel #kathryngrayson #jeromekern #oscarhammerstein #lenahorne #justiceforLena #shewasrobbed #musical #mgmmusical https://www.instagram.com/p/Bdop6mihyPD/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=4zy5lk8a0k0n
