i speed-watched this anime when i saw that the film of it was in cinemas, and i don’t regret it. it’s so funny and interesting, and here is a list of some of my favourite fics!

In the continual and epic struggle between Man and Math, Kugisaki Nobara would have put money on herself, first and foremost. If she had to pick a second bet, she'd choose Maki-san, because Maki-san was good at most things. She would never have picked Gojō-sensei, but apparently she should have.
nobara pov my beloved. the dynamic between her and gojo is brilliant, and you gotta love nobara learning theoretical mathematics out of pure spite. plus, math jokes!

Strongest sorcerer he may be, but he’s only seventeen and even he’s got some qualms about the kid who looks just like the man who killed Riko, and nearly Suguru too.

the relationship between megumi & tsumiki & gojo is portrayed so well in this fic. the writing is outstanding and all of the actions are very in-character!

great comedic atmosphere created in this fic. it captures the chaos of competitive people playing uno, and i love the nobara & inumaki interactions!

Satoru Gojo’s eyes were often found to be startling, dazing and sky blue coloured. His entire life he heard soft gasps for air as his eyes landed upon people. But slowly, Satoru became sick of it all, so he decided to hide his eyes behind a pair of sunglasses, blindfolds, and even bandages.
Because his eyes were always hidden, they kept an embarrassing little side effect of his Six Eyes hidden too. But sometimes, you can’t always hide everything.
Or, an AU where Gojo’s eyes change colour as the sky does
this is such an intriguing concept and it is depicted extremely well in this fic! plus, you gotta love gojo annoying nanami endlessly

Nodding in thanks, she takes a moment to remember his new phone number. The guy changes his a lot, for reasons Maki can begrudgingly understand, but it's still a pain to memorize a new one every month. "Hello? Who is—"
"Otou-san," she cuts him off, "me, Toge and Panda got into some trouble, can you get us at the precinct?" Gojo Satoru, mortal-god and the strongest being currently living, audibly chokes. Maki internally cackles.
very lighthearted and sweet fic that really shows how much gojo cares for his students. maki pov my beloved, and her characterisation is brilliant!

there is something about megumi trying to understand gojo better that just gets to me. all of the little stories that have been added in are so sweet and i love them so much!

In which Yuuji realises that he hasn't seen Gojo's eyes. Determined to solve the mystery, he turns to his friends and even Nanami for help. But with each explanation, Yuuji comes to a horrible realisation...
Gojo Satoru must have the ugliest eyes in the world.

;-; I really need to get my hands on an ao3 account so I can bookmark the frankly, absurdly copious amount of fanfics I know, but we'll manage. Following the last ask, these are also AU fics that have Dabi, Hawks, and Aizawa featured in them. Thought we can get a lil of everyone this way; but some of them are DabiHawks fics, because you honestly cannot find a fic without them as some kind of ship so apologies if you're not into that, but hey they're funny! Speaking of funny, I find it so hilarious that your favorite character is Gojo and you stan THESE THREE, go ahead and hit Gojo with a mallet and these are the pieces you get. Dabi has the white hair and blue eyes, Hawks has the story, Aizawa is a teacher.
"Razzmatazz" by xylophones.
This fic makes me so angry, but that's because the author is incredible at portraying social media.
"Parallax" by petrichor (findingkairos)
Everything is the same, but Shouto likes math and stars, and ngl it was way better and soothing than you'd think. He also interns with Hawks and that makes Best Jeanist's job so much harder, but gives the HPSC everything that they want.
"Children of Fate" by lucky1205
The most AU fic you could ever imagine, it is phenomenal how they re-worked the entire story, I am blown away, it could be it's own fandom. And yet, you can still recognize all the characters with how well it was blended together.
"area cryptid upset no one bothered to inform him of his tragic backstory" and "Forest Fire Furby" both by crimsonseekers
I feel like the titles are self-explanatory, but Dabi's Furby Nomu Adventures, and Dabi and LOV accidentally end up doing Vigilante Justice in trying to find Dabi's identity, throwing away useless documents and it snowballs from there.
"Low Life" by ScreamHoney
Dabi gets adopted by a cafe lady, wholesomeness everywhere.
"Hawks-Sensei" by GC4life
Literally just Hawks as a U.A Teacher, also lots of wholesomeness. These two just have that slice of life vibe, but this one goes through canon events with headcanons.
"Steal Your Heart" by darlingest
This fic caught my attention with the line, "In one week, I, Hawks, will steal the heart of Endeavor’s son. Catch me if you can!" and I am a sucker for art thief energy here and oof complicated relationship with Touya and his dad. This fic reads like some kind of classic movie.
"Personality Swap AU" by BelleAmant. (Tuesday is Aizawa, To New Heights is Hawks.)
Izuku acting like a variety of different characters. Everyone is shooketh.
"Black Cat Cafe" by Gotcocomilk
Ngl, I don't remember a lick of this fic and have been wanting to re-read it. It's one of the fandom olds, and what I remember is that the author wrote beautiful sentences. Follows Aizawa's Vigilante adventures in adopting children and kind of saving the world.

Another incredible AU fic, where Izuku owns a cafe, adopts Shinsou and Touya as roommates and employee respectively, ends up trending on twitter, the story really sucks you in with shenanigans of his day to day life.
"Lines Crossed" by DrAphra
Another fic that drives me insane, the plot is INSANE. How does the author even keep track of it. I blame Dabi, everything always hits the fan when he's involved, in fic and in fandom/canon so go figure everything snowballs because of him. But ngl, the sheer chaos in the plot as you get deeper into it is heart-poundingly genius. My top two fav moments will always be the the marble thing with Shigaraki and Dabi, (pure brilliance, the creativity) and the fight between Hawks and AFO, the banter and the moment the sky fell :)

Speaking of trauma, there's also a fic out there where Class 1A gets hit by a fear quirk, runs and scatters and Aizawa has to find them, but I am struggling to find it. Some of the Dabi fics I wanted to give you were deleted, and the Aizawa ones can't recall the names of, but I'll keep an eye out. This'll do for now!! There will definitely be a part two to this once I have free time, look forward to it! I'm leaning towards wholesome Dadzawa moments with his class, probably more Dabi AUs tbh, or identity reveal fics, some gen Hawks, and Class 1A social media future fics, actually hold up.
