GOOD OMENS SPOILERS.
So I've been thinking a lot about Muriel. About how they're sweet and naive and sort of dumb, and they're a 37th class angel.
In fact, Muriel’s level of naivety is nearly the same as Jim-level naivety/dumbness. And Jim was supposed to be a 38th class angel, after being demoted from Supreme Archangel and having his memories removed.
And when this was revealed Muriel says 'I didn't know there was a class below me', what if Muriel is just a demoted angel? What if Heaven just keeps demoting any angel who goes against God’s (the Metatron’s) Plan and making a new, lower class for them? Instead of making them fall, they just keep taking memories and demoting angels so that there wont be a perceived ‘institutional problem’. Which there isn’t. Right?

God Given Dreams
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

In Genesis 28, Jacob slept on a stone, and God gave him an incredible dream and promise for his life. At the time this promise was given, Jacob was in the process of fleeing from his homeland because his brother wanted to kill him. He was forever changed by this dream that filled him with hope and purpose.

God wants to give you a dream, mission, purpose, and plan for your life. You can compare it to how a film director makes a movie. They will often shoot the last scene first so everyone watching already knows the movie's final outcome. Even though you see the character going through hardships and trials, everyone knows how the movie will end. God also knows how your life will turn out. He knows the ending, “I make known the end from the beginning…my purpose will stand…” Isaiah 46:10.

God sees the future and is committed to bringing that future to pass. His dream is a projected destiny of what you, your family, your marriage, and your purpose will be. It is a vision or a picture of your life once He places His hand on it.

Every God-given dream comes with obstacles and challenges. How you handle those adversaries makes all the difference. If you can’t endure the hardships, you will never experience the dream. The moment that most people give up is often the moment of the greatest opportunity. Obstacles are part of the pathway to your destiny. The question is, “Can God trust you with trouble?” You have to realize that the messes of your life can lead to miraculous things in your future.

The closer you get to God’s dreams and goals, the tougher it gets. It’s like when a woman becomes pregnant with a baby. At first, she just smiles and carries around the dream, and it’s easy. But it gets harder and harder; the end is the worst…and then comes the miracle. The same is true in your life when God places something to birth inside of you. The closer you get to the dream, the more pressure you feel. It will cost you something to get to where God wants you to be. You may feel like it’s too hard at times, but never ever allow anything to make you give up on the dreams God has for your life!

The description of Crowley’s fall from Heaven in the book gives me an insight on how God might actually view Crowley (and it’s not a Demon).
“Satan (A Fallen Angel; the Adversary),
Beelzebub (A Likewise Fallen Angel and Prince of Hell),
Hastur (A Fallen Angel and Duke of Hell)
Crowley (An Angel who did not so much Fall as Saunter Vaguely Downwards)”.
We all know that God does not communicate much with both Angels and Demons therefore most of Her plans are ineffable, no one knows what exactly God’s plan is. But WHAT IF Crowley was casted out not because they were disobedient or asking questions is a punishable characteristic but WHAT IF She casted him out because only by becoming a demon, they could do miracles the way Angels couldn’t?
“Hell and Heaven do not care how the job is done”. What if God knows that the binary system doesn’t work if the morality of an action is questionable such as in Job’s case and there was someone’s needed who can do the good the way Angel’s couldn’t by default? What if she casted him out but still protected the union with Azi just because Crowley still stays as a soldier in Her system who does the Good while reading between the lines?
She casted them out because their skill set was not matching the position (disobedient and curious) but gosh he could still be useful for Her.

Getting my stride back with God is all, folks. Vanity of vanities is a life lived after my own ways. God’s way is so so much better.

to me, this lyric is about man’s weakness: trading love for hypocrisy, hatred, and unfounded judgment. we love who we want to love rather than who God commands us to love. we say “God loves you” without meaning it & look upon those unlike ourselves with disdain.
“if they strike once, then you just hit ’em twice as hard”: rather than seeking forgiveness, man seeks petty revenge; we are responsible for our own demise. do not block your ears to God’s commands or close your eyes to his loving vision for you. for though mankind will commit to telling you otherwise, there is only one truth:
God loves you, and he wants to save you; so, child, you’ll never have to fend for yourself

Letter #9: To the late bloomers, you will bloom in God’s perfect timing
“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” -2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Have you ever felt that you were left behind?
Whenever I hear news about a batchmate who got married or I’ve seen a post of an old classmate who reached a certain milestone in their life—I’ve always felt that I was left behind. But God tapped into my heart and reminded me that He is in control of my life.
As humans, we always believe that when we reach a certain age, we have to do this and that. We’re so obsessed with timelines and milestones that we often overlook the progress we made. We always blame God when things don’t go our way—we are always in a hurry, but God isn’t.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:” -‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬
God’s timing is far different but always better than ours. Where we are today, the struggles we face, and the people we encounter are all part of His divine plan for us. We may not fathom His ways and timing but know that everything always works for our good. He will prepare and equip us to glorify Him and His kingdom.
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” -‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬
It may be seen as late in our timeline, but when His timing comes up, you will know that it is the best thing that has ever happened in your life. His plans and timing won’t bring you confusion, anxiety, frustration, and rejection; because it will always be far better than what we have imagined or wished for ourselves.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” -Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬
No matter where you are in life, I hope you know how much God loves you. He will never forget you or forsake you. It may seem that you are waiting in vain, but God never lies and never makes empty promises. He will fulfill everything you need, just keep on believing, and keep on praying.
Just what I always say, God’s got you. Don’t worry, He will lift you and give you the strength to do His will. You will no longer feel ashamed of yourself for not living up to this world’s standards. You are created with a purpose. You matter, don’t you ever forget that.
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” -Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
P.S. God loves you.🤍
P.P.S. I’m proud of you. Keep going. :)
