Hello can I please request a scenario where the reader messes with the character by saying “I like you too” instead of “I love you too” with Hu Tao, Furina, UMP45, STAR 15 and Makoto from Persona?? Thank you!!

(Genshin Impact/GFL/Persona 5)

Hu Tao, Furina, Shenhe, UMP45, ST AR-15, and Makoto's S/O messing with them

Adding in Shenhe because I felt like writing her! (As per usual)

Hu Tao has to take a second to register what S/O had replied with.

"I like you, too"?

Hu Tao halts before her foot is out the door, turning around with a smirk and eyebrow raised.

(Hu Tao) "Oh? We're being like that today are we?"

(S/O) "Like what?"

Hu Tao taps her finger on their nose as she crosses her arms, smiling.

(Hu Tao) "I'm not leaving until you say it properly!"

(S/O) "Psh, no you won't."

(Hu Tao) "Unlike you, I don't need to be physically present at my job today, so I absolutely can!"

S/O had to relent after that. Because she was right, she would prevent S/O from leaving.

And even if they managed to get away, the prank Hu Tao would play as retaliation would probably not be worth it.

Furina pouts when S/O didn't even say "I love you back". The audacity!

Her hands move to her waist, giving a harsh glare to S/O.

Well, as harsh of a glare as Furina can manage. If anything, it makes her look adorable.

(Furina) "You don't even want to say it back to me, your girlfriend?! Oh, you wound my heart!"

S/O chuckled at her dramatic response.

(S/O) "As if you didn't do this very thing to me last week!"

(Furina) "Hmph! Fine, be that way, for I will not declare my love for you if this is the response I should expect!"

She tilts her head away and begins marching away from the door, still pouting.

It was obvious she wasn't genuinely offended, but two could play at this game!

She could actually keep this bit up for weeks, if prompted.

S/O does not, lest they incur her verbal wrath for the next month or so and demanding a ransom of sweets.

Shenhe stoically turns to S/O, noticing their lips were trying their best not to break into a full smile.

(Shenhe) "...S/O, did I do something wrong?"

They shook their heads and covered their laughter with one hand.

(S/O) "Sorry, I couldn't resist teasing, Shenhe. I just wanted to see your reaction."

Shenhe blinks and tilts her head in confusion.

(Shenhe) "What do you mean? All you said was that you liked me."

(S/O) "Oh, that's what you're referring to. I figured you were going to ask me why I said 'I like you' instead I love you."

(Shenhe) "That goes without saying, does it not? For us, it means the same thing."

S/O chuckled and couldn't disagree with that logic.

(S/O) "Got me there."

Shenhe, for her part, was still very confused.

What was the joke?

45 frowns before she turns back to S/O, adjusting the hair out her face.

(UMP45) "Wow, so that's what I get after opening my heart to you?"

Those words were rarely said by 45, even less so when she was about to depart for an operation.

She looked genuinely hurt, which made S/O rush up to try to ease her anger.

(S/O) "S-Sorry! It was just a joke-"

They were interrupted when 45 broke into a smirk and cut them off with a kiss.

(UMP45) "Mhm, and so was that. Now, say it properly this time, would you?"

Both of them chuckled lightly before S/O gave the correct reply.

(S/O) "I love you, too."

(UMP45) "Not so hard, was it?

STAR pouts when she hears S/O's response, making her face them.

STAR had a hard time saying it without blushing madly, and this time was no exception.

So to get that in response?

(ST AR-15) "Hey, that's not funny!"

S/O barely held back their amusement, making STAR's annoyance grow.

STAR flicks their forehead gently, taking care to not put too much of her T-Doll strength into it.

(ST AR-15) "S-Say it, already!"

With a tight hug around her, S/O gives in, but still laughing.

(S/O) "Sorry, sorry, couldn't resist. Love you too, STAR."

(ST AR-15) "Good..."

She squeezes them back before leaving the room.

Makoto hesitates on departing, taking in what S/O had replied with.

(Makoto) "Like me?"

(S/O) "It's what I said!"

Makoto looks a bit disheartened at the response.

(Makoto) "I see..."

Before her mind could wander, it was brought back to S/O when she heard them chuckle.

(S/O) "Sorry, I didn't mean to make you sad! I just wanted to tease you."

Makoto's blush crept up on her cheeks for a brief moment before she cleared her throat.

(Makoto) "Ah, my apologies. I suppose I'm still getting used to this kind of banter in a relationship-"

S/O cut her off by giving her a kiss on the cheek, making her face burn red for a different reason.

(S/O) "Don't apologize. You're cute when you blush."

Makoto stammers over her words before simply sighing and smiling back.

(Makoto) "I'll just take the compliment...Next time, I should play a joke like that on you."

Which would be easy, if she had a sense of humor.

First day of college is tomorrow so

Team Miraculous Headcanons!

(Note: I feel like the temp heros arent fleshed out as much so im only talking about their role on the team and the difference between their civilian and hero persona.)

Ladybug & Chat Noir: you already know.

Rena Rouge & Carapace: Just like the two lovebirds up there, I think there personalities swap in their hero personas. While Alya is the more rational one and Nino the coming up with crazy ideas, Rena is the crazy idea girl and Carapace is the one that wants everyone to think things through. In combat, Carapace is a frontliner like Chat Noir but with meatshield bent. Rena rarely sees combat because she's more of a mission control/guy in the chair/Navigator and yes I can randomly make persona references that supports the team from the shadows with illusions and spying on the villain.

Queen Bee: This might contradict canon but idc, Queen Bee is nice! Like yeah, she still insults her teammates, but not to their faces anymore! Chloe's making an effort to not be bad and she's failing, but it's the thought that counts right? In battle, Chloe is just doing her best Ladybug impression and it's not too bad.

Vesperia: If Queen Bee is Chloe trying to be nice, then Vesperia is Zoe being a savage! The girl has a lot of pent up anger from living with Audrey and Chloe at the same time, so she deserves to cut loose a bit. Vesperia is one of the heroes that uses the most taunts and insults against villains, sometimes to bait them but most of the time it's just her being a little bad. She's a frontliner but with an emphasis on dodging hits and grabbing attention.

Viperion: Luka is approachable, Viperion is not. He has creepy eyes and half of Paris is convinced he's psychic and can read minds (which isn't entirely wrong, he just reads emotions). The bad rep dosen't bother Luka too much, but it gets annoying when his teammates are scared of him.

Pegasus: Despite being a nerd, Max really isn't an uptight person. As long as something dosen't endanger himself, he's open to trying new things. Pegasus isn't. He lowkey believes he's surrounded by idiots including Ladybug (but he obeys her orders cause she hasn't really lost yet). Half of Paris is also terrified by him because he's able to pull off Batman levels of big brain during a fight.

King Monkey: Most of the temp's hero personas have different personalities but King monkey really is just Kim in monkey suit. Max has lowkey sussed out his identity, Kim suspects nothing.

Ryuko: Kagami is calm, which is why no one has figured out her identity because Ryuko is cRaZy. She's like one of those middle schoolers pretending to be their favorite anime character but WITH REAL POWERS! Villains are also scared of her because she has like 3 powers for some reason.

Purple Tigress: What more can I add? We all saw her: a raging cat lesbian. She's a berserker!

Pigella: She's like that one "threatening positivity" post: you will feel better, you have no choice >:)". the Love square between her and Tigress is real also. In fight she's like those really annoying spell casters that hypnotize your party members.

Miss Hound: When Sabrina transforms she just goes full Chloe! All the years of being mistreated come out as her being 10× meaner than any other hero! Miss Hound dodges a villains attack? "And thats why your useless, utterly useless!" She and Vesperia are besties!

eden : senses and other specific headcanons.

what does your muse smell like ?

warmth and ashes. eden is someone who's leaning towards the warmer side of things and her scent reflects as such. her affinity with path of preservation allows her to resonate with the element of fire, thus, she often carries that sort of scent with her. that, and the smell of the burning stars are akin of burning coals, and that is what stellaron makes her body emit. the scent of stars. sometimes, you'd be able to catch a faint hint of coffee or hot cocoa as those are her go-to beverage to drink.

what do your muse’s hands feel like ?

eden often wears gloves on both her hands, but given that she's a fighter through and through, her hands are a proof of that. scarred and rather calloused, she has hands of a warrior who holds countless weapons and had been through more battles than one could count. there are still parts that are soft, but most of the time when you hold her hands, you know these are hands of someone who is on the frontline. scarred, bruised, and battered. you can find the list of scars on her hand in this post : scars.

what does your muse usually eat in a day ?

it's no surprise nor secrets that eden enjoys eating and snacking. she actually snacks a lot during daytime or when she's thinking about something. you'd often find her chewing or nibbling on something whenever she's reading or even during her exploration if she has a chance. she does eat proper meals on time, however, with brunch being her favorite because she loves meat and eggs. but really, this girl isn't a picky eater. she'd eat anything anyone gives her or anything she comes across. best way to lure her out is by food, this had been proven more than once.

does your muse have a good singing voice ?

my portrayal of eden is japanese based, so her voice actor is ishikawa yui. her voice has quite a wide range, it could go deeper or pitch higher depending on her emotions, but there's always a calming or soothing quality to it. she'd serenade you. here are some of the examples of her singing voice : [1], [2].

does your muse have any bad habits or nervous ticks ?

biting is one thing. i say this as a bad habit because it's something she does without realizing most of the time. when she's stressed or nervous, she tends to lean onto nibbling or gnawing on something, or someone. this explains why she likes to snack when she's concentrating. another bad habit i'd say is that she is most likely to not place value in herself as much as others. eden, at her very core, does not view herself as human because she isn't one. she is a vessel created to house the stellaron, she is artificially made, so in her own eyes, she is less of a person than those around her and she would put other people's lives above her own.

what does your muse usually look like/wear ?

she likes her default outfit as they're comfortable and easy to move around in. she has a particular penchant for jackets, coats, and hoodies. from time to time she does wear something casual for dates or outings just to change it up. here's her casual outfit. eden doesn't pay much attention to her outfit or clothing unless there's a special occasion that calls for it.

is your muse affectionate ? How so ?

while she might seem cautious and stoic with those she just met, eden is actually extremely affectionate with those she trusts and loves. the way she expresses her affection is mostly through physical touch and act of intimacy than words. i've written a few posts about her expression of love and habits which you could find them below :

what position does your muse sleep in ?

either on her back if she passes out from exhaustion or on her side as she's curled up towards something or someone. most of the time, she has a habit of sleeping curled up as though she's holding onto someone. eden doesn't know why it's like that or when the habit develops, of course, but she sleeps better when she's holding onto something in her hands or arms.

could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room ?

depends on the situation. eden can be loud and chaotic if the situation calls for it, but most of the time she's rather quiet and kept to herself unless spoken to or provoked. she has rather firm and solid footsteps, however, so you might be able to hear the sound of her heeled boots against the ground as she walks.

[REPOST] What ROBLOX games would each Genshin Character play?

I did not know how or why Tumblr messed up the og post, but now I'm just embarrassed and sad. Anyways, here's some headcanons based on my Roblox experience!

Hu Tao + Zhongli - Horror Games (Doors/FNAF/Etc)

Hu Tao would drag Zhongli to play with her just so that she can attempt to get a reaction from him. It ultimately leads to no avail, but she still finds it fun to play with him.

Zhongli at first as confused with the concept of Roblox ("How is it possible to have multiple games within one game?") and while Hu Tao tried to slowly explain it to him, she decided to just let it go.

Hu Tao isn't fazed by jump scares, in fact she welcomes them. She giggles when the funny model disappears and reappears then goes "Boo!"

Zhongli wouldn't flinch at a jumpscare. He would just blink in confusion as to why a png with a loud noise is quickly moving towards him, screaming. At most he would complain about the noise and Hu Tao would just tell him to lower it down.

Hu Tao plays Roblox on her phone, while Zhongli plays on his work computer (his paycheck at the Wangsheng Funeral parlor wouldn't be enough to get him a high quality laptop - not like he was ever interested in getting one, of course)

This would mean that while Hu Tao has a decently running game, Zhongli's Roblox is as old and slow as he is. Hu Tao mostly has to carry Doors runs while Zhongli spectates and goes "hmmm" at the jumpscares

Childe (+Scaramouche) and Kaeya - FPS Games (Arsenal Counter Blox, Rushpoint, Etc.)

First of all, Scara would tell you that he only has Roblox installed because Childe wanted them to play together. Childe initally had Roblox installed to play with his younger siblings and eventually fell into the rabbit hole of action games.

Kaeya just thinks it's fun and had no real motive to start playing (Klee caught him playing Roblox and asked if he could play with her, to which he said that it was a scary, adult game and she should ask Albedo more about it)

Scara is familiar with the mechanics and could be better than Childe if only he took the games seriously. He thinks the characters and the graphics of the game are a bit too silly (except for Frontline which he was more than impressed with).

Childe loves action games and would beg Scara to 1v1 him. He normally hard carries every games and stomps on (mostly) little kids. Probably says "ggez" after top fragging each FPS Game.

They don't usually play with Kaeya, but they mostly encounter him in some games.

Childe and Scara are gaming PC nerds (see this post as to why I think Scara has a gaming PC) while Kaeya is a phone gamer. Not like he doesn't have a PC, but he's a freak who learned how to aim on a phone. This makes it all the more frustrating when he wins over Childe and Scara and rubs it in.

Fischl and Xingqiu - Anime Tower Defense Games (AA/ASTD)

Fischl would definitely be into the insane and creative stories of anime and manga. Not because of the Jojos meme, but because of the wide variety there is to chose from. Aside from reading fiction, she definitely would be the type of girl to watch a couple episodes of isekai, fantasy, romance or some mainstream anime that she likes.

Xingqiu, on the other hand, finds action anime to be interesting. When asked about it, he says that anime, like good literature, always has more to it than the fights (he says unlike Western movies that are very flashy but without substance). Reading action is different from watching it being animated in such an appealing way, which is why he reluctantly got into it,

WITH THAT BEING SAID, given their intellect and interest in anime, she would be interested in games like "All Star Tower Defense" and "Anime Adventures" which are games that require a lot of grinding for characters and has it's own strategy and meta.

Fischl would love the idea of collecting characters that she would like and would spend hours rambling about how there are hidden references in the game.

Xingqiu, however, is fully invested in the specific meta in the games and would spend real life money on Bobux to buy enough in game currency for each unit. He is also interested in the trading market, always trying to make profit from buy and selling units.

Anime nerds + strategy gatcha game = profit\

I'm too lazy to write the rest so I'll end it here. Next up we have the Nextbot players, The Obby players, The Tycoon Players, whatever the Adopt Me/Pet Simulator X genere is and more!

dude, thank you for indulging me.

coming clean as someone who has a pretty foggy idea of what happened pre-the rebellion, but I like to think that Ei and Kokomi met during a diplomatic trip where they were both surprised how much they clicked

even better, it wasn't even Ei that Kokomi fell in love with at first, but the shogun puppet

during the war Kokomi could only think about what Raiden. How did she react to watatsumi soldiers blowing up the mines? did she smile when sara reported the tenryou commissions successes? "its important to know your enemy, this is the number one rule in war strategy" yeah okay girl.

any sign that Raiden may be on the battlefield both terrified and excited her. it was unlikely that the shogun would involve herself on the frontlines quelling a rebellion, and if she did it would be a disaster for Kokomi's troops. at the same time though...

like Kokomi really admired her tenacity, her passion, her calculating nature etc etc. only to find out after the war she didn't even fall in love with a person but like. a puppet.

(her voicelines imply she never finds out about the puppet but i like to imagine. bc i think it would hurt >:))

unrelated but this dialogue that keeps playing in my head thats like: yae miko: does it bother you that your gf doesn't even worship you, ei, thinking about what they did last night: she worships me in other ways :)

that official art of them at the book store together. oh my god. tfw the most powerful leaders you know are in a light novel club together.

but also also consider kokomi and ei were fated lovers. soul mate au's are not usually my thing but the idea of ei going thousands of years alone waiting for her soulmate, only for her to push her away when she finally has her, nice.

i think the pressure might have broken kokomi though. i mean girl is stressed out:

to absolutely no one's surprise wolfram has only allowed a select few people to come in close contact with him — not for reasons expected, however. arrogance does not play a factor in his decision to steer clear of intimacy. his first kiss had been a childhood friend growing up. someone who'd taught him how to behave like an actual person: eating with proper utensils & not your fingers, acknowledging those who've acknowledged you first when entering a room, not speaking everything that comes to mind ( though unfortunately, this remains a work in progress ). ❝ i want to make sure that the first person who kisses you, loves you. okay ? ❞ a line spoken before she'd kissed him & left prussia the night thereafter. to this day he's unsure what to make of it, never truly allowing himself to think about it too much for fear of forgotten feelings that might resurface.

it had been during one of his training lessons. freshly fifteen & angry at himself about the sultan's lecture moments prior. not good enough. harder. faster. progress he believed to have made flushed down the drain with a simple word: ❝ disappointing. ❞ he'd been given new sparring partners, now soldiers at the very frontline of the empire's growing army. a girl, soft brown eyes that'd hypnotized him from the right & the black curls of a shorter boy flanking him at the left. mind frazzled within seconds as they overpowered him with ease, the hilt of his sword at salva's throat & the sole of her boot against the warmth pitting in his stomach. and well, the rest is history. suffice to say it's one of the best coming - of - age memories he has.

Like we don't even know the roles most of the blood castes played

Like Fuchsia is royalty and jade is grub-raising and stuff

But what about those of the olive caste? Or the cerulean?

With some castes we can kinda infer what there roles might be like gold bloods are probably usually technical psiionics stuff and usually fill those roles and violet bloods are probably in charge of a Royal Navy (if there is one) but what about the other castes???

I suppose olive bloods could be like hunters and assassins or frontline soldiers and stuff

Idk it's just hard for me sometimes to figure out what roles they would play

Golds would also be subjected to being the battery life, or at least the one with the most powerful psiionic gets to be this, as we see with the Ancestors. Hiveswap has shown and tries to expand a bit on the caste and their roles for future trolls. Like how purplebloods after reaching a certain older age, will train to become true soldiers or ceruleans are said to be the spy or info gatherers. But someone like Mallek is more into computer coding and hacking and said it is something his kind is not suppose to really be doing that kind of thing. Though as you can see in contradiction, how is hacking not part of being a spy or info gatherer? You could argue that Mallek is already part of the good trolls and future narrative will have him push to being part of the rebellion. But it's odd how can he not have this sort of hobby when it fits for the role his system makes. They are trying a bit hard that even certain parts of the highblood have it bad despite their high privilege. But some bit of consistency would at least be nice. And that is if you take Hiveswap as a continuation or part of Homestuck world. I really would love to see more. Other fantrolls out there are trying, but most fall into headcanons of LGBT, when they should remember terms like homosexual or lesbian, don't exist on Alternia. Not only that, most of the fan trolls in this modern fandom are all too nice. The point of Alternia is that all the trolls are fucked up people in a fucked up society and it is the norm for them. A gold digger rustblood girl or violetblood experimenting on dead corpses are examples of the kinds of trolls that would be living there.

Okay so, question: How would "The Siege of the North" play out in the Avatar!Ty Lee AU?

Ahahahahahaha YES I told y'all I would hurt you with a certain Canon line and here we are!

So! Am I starting out with more Azula and Yue? Yes! Yes I am!

They're doing that awkward 'yeah we're in love but you're engaged and this probably wouldn't have worked anyway' thing. But still very much in love with each other despite being 'just friends'.

Also! Fun fact: I adore a headcanon I saw floating around where Fire Nation proposals involve a hand-carved knife! So imagine the vibes of Azula giving Yue a knife. "Aren't you tired of being nice? Don't you want to go apeshit?"

They're having cute but awkward moments together when oh hey black smoke in the sky. Goddamn it the Fire Nation is here to fuck shit up again.

Of course when asked who all is willing to fight, our entire Gaang is down to volunteer. They're already in this, and they plan to see it through. (Ofc our girls of the Gaang stare down anyone who dares to suggest a woman shouldn't fight).

Aang and Ty Lee head out first on Appa, since they're the most mobile and can at least scout out the situation and take down some of the Fire Nation's ships

We also get Yue's actual fiancé, Hahn, being an absolute dick. And the rest of the Gaang just roasts his outdated info on the Fire Nation because damn like. 85 year old uniform? Really? That's your idea? Hahn manages a snarky 'of course /you/ would know' before Chief Arnook breaks it up and tells Hahn to listen to them since they've been on the frontlines for a while, and get up to speed before continuing with the plan.

This lasts long enough to get the plan together before Hahn decides to be an asshole again by discussing the 'perks' of marrying Yue, and poking fun at the rest of them and some standard sexism about the girls fighting, so on and so forth.

The extra boiling point that turns it into a fight is when Hahn reveals the fact that half the Gaang are actually Fire Nation themselves. This fact was kept quiet, only to the Chief, his family, and high council members. Because it might cause issues and distrust to have them here even if they say they're on their side.

Which. Is somewhat what happens. While most of the troops go 'hey even if they were Fire Nation, they've defected from the country, are helping us, and are with the goddamn Avatar so obviously it isn't a trick', there is that unease.

As a result, they're all taken off the frontlines and off the stealth mission. But Chief Arnook gives them a different mission: Protect the inner city. Most of the troops will be at the city walls, with those who can't fight are deeper in the city in the more protected buildings. If the fighting gets past the walls, or if the Fire Nation pull off a stealth mission of their own, they're the line of defense.

He does also mention his more selfish reasons. That he wants them to protect Yue in particular. We have Azula sticking by Yue, who is in the group with Katara, Aang and Ty Lee. Everyone else stations themselves nearby the inner city, keeping an eye out.

Aang and Ty Lee end up coming up with the 'hey, maybe we can get the Spirits to help us!' thing. Because 1.) they're the Avatar, so Spirits should help them and 2.) even Spirits that don't have a stake directly in this conflict, should know that winning this battle will help to Balance the world.

Yue takes them to the Spirit Oasis, where we get the discussion on how to talk to the Spirits. Ty Lee's kinda jokingly like "Hey now for once I'm the useless one with the Avatar Shit™ since Spirits only listen to Aang anyway!"

It works and Aang enters the Spirit World. That whole mess goes about the same. Meeting with Koh the Face Stealer, learning that the Ocean and Moon Spirits are the koi fish, etc.

But when Aang gets back, everything has gone to shit. We're at the point where Zhao and his men are attacking the Oasis. Katara, Azula, and Ty Lee are fighting like hell, but they're outnumbered. Plus they're too focused on protecting Aang and Yue to notice that Zhao was going after the fish instead.

Zhao grabs the Moon Spirit and Waterbending cuts out. Leading to Katara being taken out of the fight, Aang and Yue getting the headache of reacting to the Moon Spirit's distress, and Ty Lee being down an Element. Ty Lee, Aang and Azula are still ready to fight, plus the rest of the Gaang has been sprinting full tilt to get here when they saw shit going fucky.

It should be a more even fight, but with Zhao holding the Moon Spirit hostage.....

Zhao goes on his whole rant about glory and being the 'Moonslayer', while everyone tries really hard to talk him down from being stupid.

That goes about as well in Canon. He kills the Moon Spirit. And between him no longer having his hostage, and fury at the audacity of what he just did? The whole group goes feral.

We get an especially pissed off Iroh for a hot minute here which sends Zhao running. Sokka, Zuko, and Mai all bolt after him.

Ty Lee and Aang are in sync with their rage. Flickering into the Avatar State already. Before they go full force, Aang drags Ty Lee into the water and they join power with the Ocean Spirit.

You know how I jokingly called them in the Avatar State 'Drift Compatible'? This is exactly why. They go full fuckin Pacific Rim.

Back at the Oasis, we get the reveal of Yue having some of the Moon Spirit's life in her. And Iroh somberly telling her that it might be their only chance to fix this, but.....

Azula snaps for a moment. This is fucked! Yue has already given up a lot in the name of her people, and now she's expected to give up her life too? No! Fuck that! She shouldn't have to become something she's not just because 'she is their Princess and her people 'need her' to'! Fuck 'royal obligations', fuck 'what's expected of her', and especially fuck sacrificing anything else!

Yue just smiles sadly. Tells her this isn't about duty or obligation or what anyone else wants from her. She is willing to face anything, even death, even eternity, if it means those she loves will be safe.

A final kiss goodbye, and Yue is gone.

Azula is still for a moment. Shock. Then fury. Burning anger making her move.

She's going after Zhao herself. And while Iroh tries to talk her out of revenge, she doesn't listen.

Azula finds the others still fighting Zhao. A three-on-one battle that he is very much losing.

Sokka, Mai and Zuko can see the anger off of her. The almost unhinged attacks. They notice the Moon is back in the sky. THey don't know what happened, but they know that they had better get the hell out of her way.

Before Azula can do much to Zhao, the Ocean Spirit shows up to drag him down. Though she feels robbed of her own vengeance, Azula can live with that ending. The Ocean Spirit lost its partner that night too.

The battle is over. Everyone tries to pick up the pieces.

Everyone handles this with varying reactions. But Azula is still angry. Lashing out at anyone and everyone who tries to approach her. Picking fights just to get out some of the aggression still in her system.

Eventually, Zuko approaches her on his own. Because as upset as she is, she won't snap at him like she does at the others.

They're quiet for a moment. Not acknowledging. Not talking. Just... existing.

Azula: "My first girlfriend turned into the Moon."

Zuko, unsure what else to say: "That's rough, buddy."

It's unexpected. And it makes her laugh. The laughter quickly turns to sobs, having finally hit the breaking point for goddamn everything they've been through.

(Genshin Impact/GFL/GG:ST) "Pocky Game with their S/O"

Genshin Impact: Navia, Lynette, Eula, Lisa Girls' Frontline: AN-94, AK-12, WA2000, SPAS-12, Helianthus Guilty Gear Strive: Elphelt Valentine

No one requested this, just ate some pocky and the idea came to mind.

(Navia) "Oh? Sounds fun, let's try it!"

Navia cheekily grabs the pocky and puts it in her mouth, extending the stick towards her S/O expectantly.

One of the rules of the game that intrigued her was that you weren't allowed to look away from your partner.

Something Navia has no problem with, as she stares into their eyes.

Her lips form into a smile with each nibble, before she ends up grabbing S/O's face and kissing them anyway once the stick becomes short enough.

(Navia) "Huh? We lost? Hm...Well, we can always just try again!~"

Lynette questions why this game exists.

Why was eating chocolate a game? Isn't it just better to eat the pocky directly?

Well, whatever. If S/O wanted to try it, she can at least give it a shot.

Lynette fidgets a little as they make direct eye contact with each other, slowly taking away a piece of the pocky with each bite.

Right before their lips make contact, she pulls away, a little proud at the short length of the cookie.

(Lynette) "Hm. We did a pretty good job, considering."

She gives a slight smirk to them before resuming her important task at hand: spacing out and mindlessly munching on some cookies the proper way.

Eula's eyes widen slightly before she makes a "hmph!"

(Eula) "As if a simple game like this would be enough to make me falter."

Spoilers: It was.

Eula's cheeks are a crimson hue the entire time, her eyes constantly looking everywhere except S/O.

And already failing the game.

(Eula) "Just, give me a moment to compose myself! The chocolate has a strange taste is all..."

Her heart is beating fast the entire time as their lips grow closer.

It doesn't matter if they were already a couple or if they already kissed, Eula would still be extremely flustered.

(Lisa) "Hm, I think I like the sound of this game."

Lisa has no trouble at all putting the chocolate end into her mouth, waiting for S/O.

Instead of taking nibbles, she takes a massive bite, already being a few inches from their lips.

Still keeping eye contact, she gives them a wink, making S/O falter before she simply bites down completely and breaks the pocky.

(Lisa) "Oh, looks like I lost. Here, grab another one, I want a rematch.~"

It's clear that she does so on purpose, just simply enjoying S/O's reactions. Part of her wants to kiss them directly, but where's the fun in that?

This game made things a lot more fun!

Plus, it was a pretty cute idea.

(AN-94) "There is a game with candy?...I will attempt it for you."

94 is confused, but goes along with S/O's request.

She puts the pocky into her mouth and doesn't even blink as she stares into S/O, calculating how many bites it would take to not make contact with their lips.

94 doesn't react until S/O kisses her, making her eyes widen in surprise.

Not that she hated the sweets or S/O kissing her, but she tilted her head in confusion at their reaction.

(AN-94) "May I ask what the purpose of this game is?...It is for lovers to bond?...Then, I request that we continue playing."

AK-12's eyes remain close, but her eyebrows perk up in curiousity.

(AK-12) "Sure, we can play. I'll take the chocolate end."

She waits until S/O grabs the other end with their lips.

Her eyes finally open as her pink glowing eyes stare directly into them, smile still present and making them pause.

Before she just grabs the pocky with her hand and just kisses S/O full on the lips.

(AK-12) "Mmm~, tastes sweet. Oh, right, I failed the game. Let's try it again."

She would "accidentally" fail a couple more times just to see what kind of reactions S/O made.

WA's normal frown completely vanishes the moment S/O brought up the pocky game to her.

Instead, replaced with a surprised and embarassed expression.

(WA2000) "Wha-Why do you not just eat the cookies normally, are you a child or something!?"

WA begrudgingly (not really) accepts S/O's proposal to play the game and is shutting her eyes, before hearing their laughter.

(WA2000) "I'm not supposed to close my eyes? What does it matter, we're still eating the damn thing!"

The entire time, WA2000 is trying her best to look angry and unaffected, but is failing miserably.

After a few kisses, WA just sighs when she sees S/O's happy expression.

(WA2000) "...Yeah, the pocky tasted fine, now wipe that stupid smirk off your face..."

(SPAS-12) "OH! I love pocky!"

SPAS happily starts munching on the cookies before S/O stops her and tells her about the game.

(SPAS-12) "You wanna use this for a game? Oooooh, okay! That explains why there's a lot of boxes!"

Truthfully, S/O bought multiple boxes because they knew SPAS would just start eating without listening first. They were more for emergencies.

Regardless, SPAS gets a little flustered as she stares directly at S/O, and takes massive bites because she gets distracted by the taste of the pocky.

(SPAS) "Mmmm, chocolatey!...Huh?! I lost?! T-Try me again, I won't lose!"

She loses every single time. Her love for food seals her fate every single time.

(Helianthus) "Pocky game? Do I really seem that young to you...?"

Before S/O could retract their pocky, Helian immediately starts backtracking.

(Helianthus) "H-HANG ON! I DIDN'T SAY I WOULDN'T PLAY!"

If anything, Helain is flattered that S/O wanted to play this game with her, despite her usual stoic demeanor.

Helian has a hard time keeping eye contact, but tries to tough it out.

She fails at not having their lips connect, but it's not a failure she exactly minds.

Helian gets carried away in the moment, forgetting the original purpose of the game and instead just focuses on kissing her S/O.

Before tasting the chocolate in their mouth and quickly leaning back.

(Helianthus) A-AHEM! "I...suppose we failed the challenge..."

Before S/O could even finish proposing the idea to Elphelt-

(Elphelt) "YES! Gimme that pocky!"

With zero hesitation she immediately puts the pocky in her lips, excitedly leaning into S/O with bright eyes.

She kicks the challenge up a notch, by having her hands latch onto S/O's, giggling all the while as she took each bite and savoring the bite and sight.

Elphelt fails the challenge in multiple ways, mostly just by how giddy she is during it.

Accidentally biting too hard, kissing S/O, letting go of the cookie, each result makes her pout and slightly blush.

(Elphelt) "Wha-OH COME ON! I didn't even bite that hard! Hand me another one!"

Elphelt loves playing this pocky game with S/O.

She always had these cookies around due to her love for sweets, but this was the first time they've been used for something this fun!

(Elphelt) "Another one!...We're out? Alright, fine! Lemme grab another box and we can try this again later, I will win!"

S/O at the end of each session has a lot of lipstick, chocolate, and cookie crumbs on their lips.

Girls' Frontline! The fun part is that there are so many characters and so much room for headcanoning. The not-so-fun part is that the official personalities are basically non-existent (so I'd be designing them from scratch in most cases) and that there are so many characters. And I uh, do not trust myself not to take on wayyy too much work with that. >.>

Mystic Messenger x League of Legends Headcanons

I was reminded that I have headcanons about the Mystic Messenger characters and League of Legends. If you don’t know, League of Legends is a multiplayer game where a team of five will work to destroy the other teams turrets and eventually destroy the team’s nexus to win the game. Since there are five main characters in Mystic Messager, I thought it would be fun to headcanon what they would play.

First, we will start with the Top Lane with Mr. Superman Yoosung himself and his main: Garen

I don’t remember if MM specifies what role Yoosung actually has but I assume with the type of username he has, he would probably pick the top lane with this type of champion. Top lane in League is mostly for the tankie/frontline champions. Garen Crownguard (yes that’s his surname) is quite the archetypal hero. He comes from family that has protected the royal family of Demacia for generations and he himself is Captain of Dauntless Vangaurd that is sworn to protect his home from foes.

Yoosung is the best at the game by virtue that he's played it so much for so long.

Next we move the Mid Lane with Zen and his main: Akshan

If forced to play this game, I imagine that Zen would probably take the most attractive champions. If he wanted to play a sexy girl then he would pick Ahri but I think Akshan and Zen fit well together. They’re both suave and funny. Zen would be the most frustrating to watch play not because he's bad but because he's naturally good at it. Akshan has a grabbling hook that allows the character to swing around area and I don’t have a doubt in my mind that he would play it perfectly. This champion also has the ability to revive a killed ally if he kills the opponent who killed said ally….the person on the other team could be one auto attack away from reviving Jumin and Zen wouldn't do it. RIP.

I would go with the Bot Lane next but let’s go to the jungle with Seven and…Shaco.

For those of you don’t know, in League of Legends there is a jungle between the lanes and it’s has these monster camps that junglers will kill to get XP and gold. They will also “gank” lanes, what this means is that will sneak out of the jungle and help their teammates kill their lane opponents. Shaco is one of the most annoying junglers to deal with. He has a clone that if you kill will explode into a death trap that will attack you. He also has invisibility, which I loath to my very core. I’m pretty sure he’s not even canon to League’s lore…so I can see Seven taking this one and perma-ganking the other lanes. He’ll have the other team ff 15-ing and spamming "jungle diff" in all chat.

Let’s go now Bot Lane with Jaehee. The only way she would actually play this game is if Jumin gave her vacation time and he bought her this very specific skin:

The bot lane is for marksman or “ADCs” (Attack Damage Carries—don’t ask) and as someone who mains ADC…it’s one of the worst roles in the game so Jaehee got it by default. This is Sivir in the Café Cuties skin line. She really wouldn’t care that much about it but she would probably look at the other cute skins.

Finally…Jumin would play Yuumi and I hate it

The final role in this game is called Support and at the beginning of the game, together in the bot lane, the ADC and Support will go together and fight it out against the other team’s ADC and support. The Support’s job in the beginning of the game is to keep the ADC alive because they’re so vulnerable early on. There are wide variety of different types of supports, from tankie to engage, to healers, to ones with traps/blinds. This Yuumi. Yuumi’s gimmick is that she can sit on top of an ally and become untouchable until she either willingly detaches or when whoever she’s sitting on dies. The meme in the community is that if you want to play while also doing your taxes, it’s the champ for you.

On a…less bitter note because I am a Jinx main and it’s fucking hell to have this stupid cat sitting on me…Jumin would do it for more wholesome reasons, which I can appreciate. I can only imagine the funny interactions

1.This chapter made me wish that Lily had a baby girl instead of Harry… if she had a girl (from this chapter i understand that she knew the baby's gender before it was born) she would have still felt trapped but she would have likely associated the baby more with herself rather than with James and their union if it was a girl… kind of like what happened with J.K Rowling and Jessica her oldest daughter from her first and abusive marriage… and the fact that Harry looks so much like James and is also so much like him in personality only makes things worst… you might say that but "Harry got his kindness from Lily" but i think it is wrong: the idea that Lily is full of compassion, or even particularly kind, comes from the films and from fanfiction, not from the books. In the books she is described as being vivacious, charming, very bright, funny, brave, cheeky and good at Potions and Charms, she was never said to be kind in the books not once rather we are shown that she is also quite harsh and over-critical and inclined to blame others for her own faults (e.g. she and Sev both snooped around Petunia’s room, but when Lily is silly enough to let Petunia know, and she’s angry about it, suddenly Lily makes out it’s all Sev’s fault and treats him horribly) so Harry is way more similar to James than to Lily and kindness is not one of Harry's defining traits not in the books or in movies… The only characters who you can described as fundamentally kind are Luna and Neville that is why i wish Neville was Lily's son instead of Harry or that she just had a girl instead… even before i knew about Snily's backstory i never liked Harry's character and that is why i never fully read the books since you can't read a whole franchise if you dislike the main character and reading this chapter just made me think that Harry is just a burrden and a painful reminder in Lily's life it is not his fault of course (he didn't ask to be born) but he is still a burrden and somthing that will always stands between her and Severus and represent James…. i think with someone like Neville as Lily's son or if she had a girl everything would have been easier for Snape and for Lily since Neville Potter or a "girl who lived" is so much more lovable and much less related to James…

2.one thing i personally disagree with is James regretting Harry and blaming him for everything. yes, James was immature (doing secret escapades with the Cloak of Invisibility) and frustrated to be locked up but i always saw James as loving Harry deeply and wanting him to be like him and being the permissive and spoiling parent to me he was like Lucius Malfoy a good, spoiling and proud father but a shitty person overall lol.

3.it is said it this chapter that Lily tried to get a job but this goes against what J.K has said that they immediately joined the order after graduating and were supported financially by James. so i always saw Lily as someone who was a bit spoiled since she was her parents favorite so she blindly trusted James and was happy to be supported by him financially that is another mistake i headcanon that she made since she was so blindly in love with the person that she thought he was that she became too depandent on him financially and emotionally letting him isolate her…

4.another thing we apparently have different opinions of is Harry's conception, you wrote it as something that was planned due to Lily's inlaws pressure but i always saw it as an unplanned pregnancy resulting from a drunken hallowen party since it doesn't make sense to me that James and Lily would want to have a child while they were so young, in a middle of a big war and while they are prominent fighters in the frontlines so we agree to diagree (: unlike Harry, i think Neville was planned since Frank and Alice were older and being aurors was their profession they weren't fighters just because of the war.

5.do you have a Snily fic like this just without Harry or with a girl who live instead that i could read?

6.the way you described James as seeing Lily as an award to be won is so spot on since he was a spoilt child who always got what he wanted and never received no for an answer so he doesn't know how to lose and views everything as a game… The way their relationship is described in the book has so many red flags… if James had lived and Lily wanted a divorce i am sure he would have threatened to take Harry away from her if she will leave him just like he had threatened her to date him if she wanted him to stop hexing snape he is not above playing dirty and hit below the belt as long as he gets what he wants so the fact that he died saved Lily for an ugly custody battle….

7.what does the Lily flower and the phoenix have in common? Does lily symbolize rebirth?

8.another thing is i always saw Lily's flaws and darkness manifesting in her treatment of Snape and Petunia and not in her motherhood but her bad reaction to the unborn Harry in this made sense since she was feeling trapped and knew that she was pregnant with a boy so it was like having James all around her. again, i think her initial reaction would have been a lot different and much better if the baby was a girl just like it happened to J.K

9.In terms of the chronology/timeline of the story, back in Chapter 4: Snapdragon in the August 16th, 1994 paragraph there is a flashback scene where Lily is already heavily pregnant at the end of her pregnancy and she is confronting James at Harry's nursery on his lies and deceit but in this latest chapter (chapter 12) it appears that Lily only learned about James's lies just as she found out about the pregnancy so i am confused as to where and when this flashback scene from chapter 4 is placed in the grand scheme of things? Can you write me the rest of the timeline strarting from their wedding on 7 July 1978 and on?

10.why did Lily disappeared from the memories at some point and left Severus to watch them alone?

11.why did James and Sirius didn't trust Remus while Lily did?

12.where did James and Lily live after their wedding? At Godric's Hollow? Or did they only move there once they went into hiding?

13.did they found out about the prophecy and went into hiding in February, 1980? I always thought that they choose the secret keeper a week before Halloween… again, i need you to write me the timeline from their wedding on 7 July 1978 to Halloween.

Sorry for so many questions as i said before this chapter gave me a lot to think about… also,i hope you are not angry that i previously pointed out some mistakes/inconsistencies in the timeline since some authors hate it when it is being pointed out to them but i just wanted everything to be perfect since i wanted to be able to understand the story better😁 P.S wishing you a happy and healthy 2024🥳

NOTE FOR MYSELF: Just for reference when looking back at this post, it's in regard to Chapter 12 of The Language of Flowers.

I've read the books and while there are things pointing out Lily's flaws, she does have her kind moments in the books too. It's not just a thing from the films or fandom. I mean, it was her kindness that made Severus fall for her (at least it's implied throughout the text.) And with regards to Lily having a boy or a girl (or someone like Neville), It might have made a slight difference, but it still isn't the point of it. It's about the fact that everyone keeps noting how Harry looks and acts like James, but yet, Lily just wants Harry to be his own person and not continue to keep being compared to his dad (especially because of seeing how much a jerk James is.) It's also about Lily learning this herself. It isn't Harry's fault that his father is James, but with self-awareness to it, he can do the work to make sure he doesn't follow down his footsteps (something he actually does talk about in the book of the Order of the Phoenix when he finds out how much of a bully James was.) We haven't gotten there yet in the fanfic, but we are close!

I didn't take it as James regretting having Harry or blaming him for everything. I know I said this story would be pretty big on James-Bashing, and it is, but to me him saying “It’s because of our son that we’re in this predicament" and "I didn't want this", it was just one of those stupid moments (even for James) where you're frustrated or going through a mix of emotions and you say stupid things or the wrong things without thinking it through. And once it's said, you kind of can't take it back. It was like that. James is a flawed being. He was immature and a jerk, but the only thing I will give him credit for in this story is that he did care for Harry, which is why at the very end, he still tried to protect him and Lily.

The story acknowledges the fact that they were financially supported by James' fortune and joined the Order after graduation. However, I think Lily still would have liked to get a job herself (because everyone has goals and dreams of what they want to be after all), but because of everything going on with the first war and the dangers it presented, especially for her, she decided it was best to live off James' fortune and just join the Order. Can't argue with those facts, but you also can't change the fact she would have wanted her own career too.

To me, it was pressure from the in-laws, pressure from marriage expectations, pressure from the war and also an unplanned pregnancy. Obviously they were only 18 when they got married directly after graduating (pressure from the war, check.) Then the fact James parents were considered "elderly", even for wizarding standards and had a noted history with problems concieving, hence James was the result of a late-in-life pregnancy and entirely dotted on (pressure from the in-laws, check.) Then like with most marriages, at least from a typical society view since the dawn of time, you are expected to carry on the family legacy and have children (pressure from marriage expectations, check.) After that, depending on if you want a child or not at that current time or at all, it could feel like an unplanned pregnancy, especially if you're in a toxic relationship and have no other choice but to do it or feel pressured to do so. (unplanned pregnancy because of pressure's from marriage expectations, in-laws, and war, check.) That's how I saw it.

I have other Snily fics without Harry, which are also AU's: A Lily Among the Snakes and Obscurial Flower (Rewritten). However, my main focus has been working on The Language of Flowers right now, so those two stories only have 2 chapters up.

I've always seen James and Lily's relationship this way too, so of course I had to explore the potential of it, especially with Lily being alive. I just feel like the canon text gave us so many nods to the Red Flags of James Potter and the kind of spouse he would be towards Lily; between being a bully to those he felt deserved it, arrogant and so sure he was never wrong. He was also willing to hex Lily when she tried to stand up for her friend, and he was seen writing her initials on a Golden Snitch (the implication being a trophy and prize of sorts since that is what a Seeker goes after in Quidditch to win the game, which just symbolizes perfectly how the relationship was viewed by James.) It was literally SCREAMING to me from that scene in the book: GET YOUR RED FLAGS, especially with the fact he was still bullying Snape behind her back in Seventh Year while acting like he had changed his ways! This reminds me, I need to finish that meta I was writing up on this topic.

Lilies Symbolize: Unconditional Love, Devotion, Purity, Innocence, Fertility, Femininity, Grief/Mourning, & New Life/Rebirth. The Phoenix Symbolize: Immortatlity, resurrection, new beginnings, healing, hope and self-regeneration. (( I just took the fact they both meant overcoming death, bringing hope and healing and put it together. It was also a call to her being part of the Order of the Phoenix ;D.

Everyone has light and dark in them. That's the thing. And while Lily does have her...dark moments elsewhere, it was during motherhood and being in a toxic, loveless marriage when she started to awaken to it and that was what led her to wanting to make the change and try to be better. That was the implication of it anyway.

The one taking place in Chapter 4 is hinted to be a trick of the mind because nightmares can do that, especially when they try to use our fears against us. The true and real thing that happened was in Chapter 12. I'll get around to writing out the Timeline for Lily's Past when I can. I'll probably post it here to make it easier. I'll inform when it happens.

It was implied and even pointed out by Severus that the reason she suddenly disappeared like that was because at that point in the memories she had started to lose herself in the darkness in her life after finding out the truth about her relationship with James. She also didn't want to witness everything with Voldy again. But as for if she heard everything while not being there...hmm...possibly ;) It is still her mind.

It is said that Sirius was wary of Remus at the time (and much of everyone, thinking some people were secret spies for Voldy.) He obviously wasn't wrong since that's exactly what Peter was, but it's sad it was directed towards Remus. I figured Sirius would influence James to feel the same way, but obviously Lily didn't.

They lived at the Potter estate before and after James parents passed, but moved to Godric's Hollow when they were told to go into hiding. This was my version of expliaing it since it was never really mentioned to us.

Again, same as I said above. We aren't really sure exactly when it all happened. All we know is Trelawney's Prophecy was made early in 1980 to Dumbledore, but Snape ended up overhearing it and passing it onto Voldy, which then started everything. Exact dates not known, but what happened here in my story is my creative guess on it.
