Thinking about my Batfamily Umbrella Academy Au again and just...

Dick who has the world's worst case of imposter syndrome, because is he really a fantastic acrobat, or is he just manipulating the gravity around himself? Without his powers would he even be able to walk along a balance beam? He'll never truly know.

Cass who can live in a moment for as long as she wants, who can take the time to analyze every single detail and judge her next move. Who can't do anything without analyzing, who freezes time on instinct before every action. She moves through time differently from everyone else, every day lasts five times longer.

Jason who can hit a bullseye from any distance, but knows it will never be enough to actually impress Bruce. With his power set, it's not impressive, it's just expected. It doesn't matter that he didn't use his powers, all that does is make his powers, and by extension himself, seem less useful.

Duke who doesn't trust his own eyes. He only believes in things he can physically touch, because what's to say he's not just making himself see what he wants to? If he can manipulate others perceptions on a whim, how easy must it be to manipulate his own?

Damian who's power is function-less in a fight, and so spent his life constantly training to try and compensate. Who spent so long training and honing his ability that now he struggles to talk with other people. And despite that sacrifice, still can't rise higher than Number Five because of the one thing outside of his control.

Tim who hesitates before he touches anything for the first time because he never knows what he might see. Who had to learn to keep his face natural no matter what he learns, better that than having to explain what he saw to someone who won't understand.

Stephanie who discovers she has powers, that maybe she's not actually the weak link and she can finally help her siblings, just to find out they think she's a villain. That even when they're all the same, she's still the outsider. They still don't believe in her.

Loki series fic idea where post ep 4 they go back to their OG timelines

- Loki wakes up right where the TVA picked him off

- He’s freaked out, confused and just really wants to find Mobius

- Plot stuff happens because there are alot of logistic problems in finding Mobius

- Ex. the avengers, the whole asgardian government, WHERE he is and where to even start

- Loki does end up finding him after maybe 7 big sideplots

- Mobius may OR may not have missing memory

- This can go either way

- On one hand if Loki is the only one who remembers then thats a whole other plot to get moby to remember

- But if they all remember then continue where you were

- Now at this point were in complete opens water so do what ever you want

- I can see them either A. Going back to the TVA to fix all the exploding time line problems

- If your doing this maybe sprincle in some time problems through out the fic

- or B. They live their life on the time line

- Maybe live a peacefull life or defeat thanos

- The defeat thanos thing would be funny cause then some people who knew pre TVA Loki Ex. Thor, the avengers etc etc will see him follow mobius around like a dog

Idea: A Brand New Ending (Kin)

This is my rough notes for this fic. Subject to change. Any suggestions or input you would like to contribute are welcome.

Probably spoilers for Kin

(tagging @bellaxgiornata and any other Kin fic writers out there)

Pairing: Michael Kinsella x Reader

Title comes a quote of uncertain origin: No one can go back and make a brand new start, but anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.

You are half-Irish on your mother’s side.

When you were young, your parents died suddenly. You were taken in by your aunt and uncle who lived in Dublin, a couple houses down from Michael and his family.

AUNT and UNCLE can’t have kids and treat you like their own daughter.

Uncertain if your aunt and uncle are involved in the Kinsella criminal organization or not.

You are at least one year below Michael in school and develop a crush on the older boy. These feelings are returned and eventually you start dating. At some point, you give your virginity to Michael.

Something breaks you apart –

(1) AUNT and UNCLE either don’t approve of your relationship with Michael and/or having sex outside of marriage, and decided to move away to keep you away from this boy and his bad influence – maybe there was a pregnancy scare or an actual pregnancy but you ended up miscarrying.

(2) They find out about Bren’s disgusting habits toward young girls – maybe he molests you – and UNCLE and AUNT move away from Dublin to protect you from Bren (doesn’t trust the police in this matter for whatever reason – either they are criminals too or just thinks Bren has connections that would get him off).

Has sporadic contact with Michael afterward but the timing never seems right.

He is either having an affair with his brother’s wife or has gotten married to WIFE and has a little girl or is in prison for accidentally killing his wife.

You try to move on but your romantic relationships are all disasters in some way. Some better (perfectly nice guy but you are hilariously incompatible) than others (at least one was abusive)

Sometime during Season 1, you run into Michael again. One thing leads to another. In the morning, you are naked in his bed. Part of you wants to stay but something important comes up and you must dash off

Maybe AUNT or UNCLE has an emergency – become very ill or fell and broke their hip or had a stroke or a heart attack. Something very serious that eats up your attention for a while.

When you start getting sick, you think its stress. It’s not. Either by condom failure or birth control failure, you find yourself pregnant (again?). You know Michael is the father – you haven’t had sex with anyone else in over a year.

You try to tell Michael but ended up intercepted by Amanda. Who acts like herself and convinces you don’t really mean anything to Michael (“He just got out of prison. He’d fuck anyone.”) and certainly doesn’t want anything to do with child you are carrying.

Maybe its stress or hormone or anxiety or your self-esteem being in the toilet but you believe her lies and return home in tears.

You refuse to tell AUNT or UNCLE who the father is but all or most of the pregnancy but they eventually learn it.

Michael finds out when

(1) AUNT or UNCLE goes down to Dublin themselves to tell Michael off for his treatment of their niece. Michael is understandably confused, then gobsmacked.

(2) AUNT or UNCLE has some kind of relationship with Birdie and complains to her.

Maybe Birdie saw your conversation with Amanda – close enough to know she said something that had you running away in tears but not close enough to hear what was said. Maybe tried asking Amanda about it but obviously not cooperative, might be self-righteous about running off the interloper (you).

Not sure if he finds when you are still pregnant or shortly after giving birth to the twins. Yes, twins – a boy and a girl.

Team Magic magical misunderstanding AU, where-

What if the amulet hadn’t been blasted onto the beach at the end of the shadow war though. What if it’d fallen at Scrooges feet again, like it did on Vesuvius, but this time he locks it up in the other bin.

What if Webby still went to the library looking for clues about shadow magic only this time it was a fake Webby (nervous huey in disguise, luckily you’re not supposed to talk much at a library) meanwhile Louie was causing havoc at the manor so Webby and Dewy could try breaking into the other bin’s new security-

Webby wont STEAL the amulet she PROMISES she just wants to LOOK AT IT FOR CLUES-

she swaps it for a fake behind Dewy’s back as they leave.

(Bad enough if they ever get blamed for helping her into the other bin, she’s not going to get them mixed up in the dark and very forbidden magic she’s planning next.)

(she's not losing anyone else the way she lost-)

What if Violet didn’t find the amulet on the beach that day, what if she’d gone down there (again) to clean up beach litter (for a junior woodchuck badge) mostly in the form of empty bottles with messages stuffed inside of them (as usual)

but now she’s more interested in reading the newest anonymous notes (LENA'S notes...)

which have shifted from clearly fictitious pleas for help from stranded sailors, to what seems to be a series of personal entries written on pages ripped from someone’s diary,

they chronical a growing friendship undercut by a secret betrayal that is causing the writer much well-written and fascinating angst,

and Violet has been compiling into a scrap book

(Webby took Lena’s diary from the amphitheater, and she opens it sometimes to thumb sadly though the ripped out pages right after they met, wondering aloud what Lena might have written about her)

(trapped in Webby's shadow, knowing she won't hear, Lena tells her)

On the night of the shadow war Violet finds several message bottles all with hastily and poorly penned single words in them, such as “ECLipSE” “MAgIC” “TRAITOR”

and she’s puzzling over them when what appears to be literal shadowy hell breaks out over The Money Bin of Scrooge McDuck

Not everything is darkness though. Chased towards the sea while trying to escape malevolent semi-corporeal shadows, Violet falls in the surf, only to see something blue glowing just below the water

The object flashes when she picks it up and the shadows draw back. A moment later the light intensifies for one bright moment- causing the shadows to flee completely- as behind Violet there’s twin flash of blue light from the money bin- before going completely dark.

Magic is apparently real and capable of protection as well as evil shadow summoning.

It also comes in the form of a clearly homemade bracelet.

Violet puts it on and begins to investigate.

Later, unheard and unseen the endless night of the shadow realm, Lena is clutching her face and shrieking whenever Webby pulls out Magica’s amulet.

Her wild tries to grab the thing and throw it as far away from Webby as possible only activate it, though, and make Webby more determined to figure out how to use it.

If it banished Lena (ONLY banished, because she can't really be-) then it can bring her back, right?

Webby quickly (unfortunately) realizes that anger is the key to Magica’s powers, and Lena can only watch as Webby digs deeper and deeper into painful memories and thoughts, trying to summon more and more anger, determined to master the magic she thinks could bring Lena back.

(not like this. if getting out of the shadow realm comes at the cost of Webby yelling at herself for not noticing the signs of Lena’s situation sooner and BLAMING herself for it, then Lena doesn’t want to be saved)

(not that it matters, since Webby can’t hear her anyway)

Huey is still going to the library as Webby, now covering for her alone time fixing up Lena’s old hide out

(a healthy step in the grieving process, according the guide book) (Webby is using the amphitheater to practice magic unseen)

What if, while researching at the library this time, Violet meets a Webbigail Vanderquack who is plainly a fake.

What if Huey-as-Webby looks down and sees Lena’s friendship bracelet on the wrist of a girl reading up about shadow magic, and runs to Webby in a panic.

What if Webby (keyed into anger thanks to all her magic practice) jumps straight to luring in and attacking Violet, who is clearly Magica De Spell in disguise again,

and what if Violet, unaware that the treachery warned of in the notes has already happened, sees a fake Webbigail wielding the amulet of Magica De Spell and decides her duty as a junior woodchuck is to take action against this plot-

What if Webby unleashes Magica’s magic on Violet, only for Violet to chant a little rhyme...

and block the blast with Lena’s own friendship bracelet.

What if, as Webby stares in shock (then anger, then fury), Violet reveals she has unlocked the magic of the bracelet she found, and the key is in reading out passages and poems from the torn diary pages- specifically those parts that talk about the writer’s friendship with the girl she is about to betray.

What if hearing Violet recite Lena’s words makes it harder and harder for Webby to hold on the anger she needs to fight with Magica’s magic, making her attacks faulter even as Violet’s shields grow in strength.

Webby, frustrated, goes for a tackle. Violet dodges, sees Webby’s matching bracelet and (a quick study) revaluates the situation,

she realizes she is in fact fighting the girl that the author of the diary had been writing about this entire time.

What if Webby summons one last burst of rage to try taking out Magica-in-disguise (who is not Magica, actually, or in disguise) and finally yells the thing that’s been eating her all this time-

Lena only got to know her because of Magica’s plot- she never would have bothered with Webby otherwise- she’s cool and smart and been to Paris- and there was never any way for them to be friends WITHOUT Lena getting hurt

In answer to this, Violet calmly reads a note from the first bottle she ever found on the beach.

“Beagle B-Day. Met cool weirdo & finally having fun. Taking the day OFF. Get rekt aunt M!”

Webby’s anger breaks.

Magica’s magic fades out.

And Webby’s friendship bracelet lights up for the very first time since the shadow war.

“It is my opinion,” Violet says cautiously. “That regardless of what your fears might say, the person who wrote this has always been your friend.”

Webby is crying.

Lena, unfelt, wraps her arms around Webby and glares at Magica’s dropped amulet.

“It is also my opinion that the ectoplasmic activity exhibited by the ‘friendship bracelets’ you both wore is a positive sign that she still exists in some form or another, along with the magical bond between you two.”

"W-what?" Webby sniffles.

"Your theory was correct. She is not gone." Kneeling down, Violet pats Webby on the shoulder. “And using that bond, I intend to help you get her back.”

In the shadow realm, Lena’s beak drops open.

“Really...?” Webby whispers, then frowns suspiciously. “Why?”

(magica had used lena and thrown her away like she was nothing- had SAID she was nothing- and magica hadn't needed her magic for that. if she was using someone again, using lena again as bait...)

but Violet isn't even looking at the amulet.

“I have difficulties in developing interpersonal relationships with non-familial partners.”

Violet admits, holds up her scrap book of Lena’s notes.

“Reading these entries is the closest I have come to replicating the experience of having a friendship with someone other than my fathers, specifically someone within my own peer group. I sympathized with the author’s struggles to recognize and accept her own feelings… In fact, I believe those feelings of camaraderie are the true reason as to why I was able to access the bracelet’s magical powers. The quotes and recitations were merely a memory aid, used to trigger the required emotions of fondness, trust, shared pain, and admiration.”

Shadow Lena turns to Webby. What.

Webby is tearing up again. “You don’t have any friends? And, reading Lena’s diary made you feel less lonely, like maybe she was your friend?”

Ohhh. Shadow Lena looks back at Violet. Oh…

Violet tilts her head. “Who is Lena?”

“The girl who wrote all those messages." Webby is hugging her bracelet to her chest now. "...My best friend.”

“Ah." Looking down at her own bracelet, Lena's bracelet, Violet nods. "Then yes.”

Both bracelets start to glow again softly.

Nether of the girls notice Webby’s shadow stretching out on the ground behind them as it merges silently with Violet’s.

“Or to be more precise," Violet continues, "I feel as though I would like to be friends with her, if possible. And with you.”

“Okay,” Webby scrubs her face dry and smiles for the first time all episode. “..okay. You’ve got your very first non-family friend. One down, one to go! Let’s do this-! Um… what was your name again?”

“Violet Apollonia Sabrewing.”

“Violet! Hi, I’m Webby!”

“Yes, Lena’s diary did mention your name a time or fifty.”

Shadow realm Lena glowers, face pink. It's not like I had anything better to write about! Complaining about being enslaved by my evil aunt gets OLD, okay??

Oblivious, Webby front-flips to her feet and snatches Magica's amulet and holds it aloft.

“Now that we BOTH have a friend to do forbidden stuff with, anything’s possible! Let’s get magical!”

“At the library?”

“AT THE LIBRARY!!!”

Oh great, Lena groans from their shadows, more magic. And now there’s TWO of them.

As boring as nerd stuff is though, she still sits with them in the shadow version of the library anyway, hanging out with her friends who don’t even know she is there.

Not yet, anyway.

And so, in another world, Team Magic is formed.

I know this is 100% unlikely, but I just want this for season 5:

I want Billy to be found, a little worse for wear for surviving wherever he has been for this time, skinny but still feisty. He finds out about Max and sneaks off to see her, even though he’s not meant to be seen yet.

For Billy and El to be the ones who can pull Max out of her coma (and maybe he’s retained some ability to heal her eyes - I dunno). But Hop to catch them doing it and assume he’s hurting her instead. Tackling Billy away as Max wake up calling out for Billy and El. At this point exhaustion wins out and Billy passes out with a nosebleed.

For Hop to take Billy to Steve’s as that place has become like a base of operations and halfway house and dump him on the sofa. Steve tries to feed him when he wakes up and they chat about that stupid summer where Steve had to wear a stupid sailor uniform and Billy got hit on by mums in his stupid lifeguard shorts.

At some point Robin let’s herself into the house wanting to see if what she heard was true - Billy’s alive. He freezes when she sees her, she reaches out to hug him as he crumples and dissolves into silent tears, all the while apologising for Heather.

When the rest turn up at Steve’s later, they find Billy firmly wedged between Robin and Steve, asleep, head on Steve’s shoulder holding hands with Robin. Not what they expected.

Turns out, offscreen they had a funny friendship/ rivalry over the summer about shitty uniforms, low paid jobs and who could score the most dates. Billy knew that Robin thought heather was cool and would sometimes try to chat with her, usually goofing it up.

Give me these three as a team, riding into the apocalypse and defeating vecna.

Bonus points for Billy treating El as an extra little sister.

That or someone talented to write it as a fic! I know some people hate Billy but I thought there was more they could have done with him.

Mmmmm... What if I made a fic about Bad owning a daycare that all the kids are dropped off at because they're not accepted into others (because of species or being deemed unsuitable for others due to needs they have) or can't find one where the kid is happy.

It would be episodic sort of thing, while each part might be connected there wouldn't be an over arching plot to it, just a bit of relaxing time!

Parents would be included sometimes but I'd love to hear ideas as I have an idea for the first chapter but that's it rn lol

I think a story where Jack brings back att the angels and most demons, and Empty let's them go cause they want to sleep, but takes Castiel's memories because they are still angry at Jack and Cas would be amazing.

Like Cas has memories somewhere before pulling Dean out of hell but everyone else around him remembers all that happened.

I wrote a really long ost about this fic idea byt tumblr ate it, so I am going to try again, I am sorry if I miss any details this time around.

There is an old post, about Naomi and Cas, I don't I will be able to find, but one person in the tags said, (paraphrasing) 'It would be intresting and kind of hillarious if only Castiel was mindwiped after his rebellions or disobidience and others rememberd.'

Cas loosing his memories after his lastest visit of the Empty would be as you said very messy.

Imagin, Jack goes to empty, after getting Chuck's powers, and Cas is not happy with the situtation but he also know they don't have much time, the Shadow is angry about everything. So Castiel helps Jack make a deal with the Shadow, to get most of the angels and hamdfull of Demons, who would actually help rather than messing them up evern more (Like Crowely, Rowena, Meg, etc), they deal with the rest and seasl the void so that the shadow is never disturbed again.

But before the leave, The Shadow takes Castiel's memories, or something happens, but Castiel does forget everything that happened.

So, as he comes back the last thing he remembers is planning a seige to hell, to pull out Dean.

And everything is a mess, right?

Hell is cahos, Deamons don't know who to obey, Rowena and Crowely are at eachothers throats.

Heaven is worse, Angels are hostile towards Jack, he is Lucifer's nephilim, raised by the Winchesters, he took Godhood from their father. They don't know if they want should trust him. Even Cas himself.

It doesn't long for everyone to realise something is very wrong with Cas, either. Like Cas then thought Balthzar is dead, and now when Cas doesn't remember, Batlh who is still angry doesn't know how to tell his brother, who is so happy to see him, he was the one to kill Balth. Similar interactions goes for Anna, for Samandrieal, for Racheal, and others.

Like all the angels are angry at Cas, but blowing up gets only confussion from him. And like he doesn't want to belive what they are telling him, because its too much and its disarterous for him.

Jack comes to realise, he doesnt know shit about Castiel or the angels or heaven and hell. He has no idea what to do and how to help

Like Cas is the one being who could have conneted all the frayed edges of Heaven and Hell, but he can't do that.

Its immposible to write this concept in way that would do justice to everyone, but it has a lot that can be explored

Wow, that really is a spectacular mess, isn't it? (in a good way) It is super interesting, but I can't even get started on how one would try to resolve it to satisfaction.

So then I started to blow it up even more:

In Hell, not only Rowena and Crowley would have unresolved issues, but Meg and Crowley too. And Crowley surely had issues with all the remaining demons, who first of all chose Lucifer over him, then also became loyal to his abusive mother while they were never truly loyal to him. I have no choice but to conclude that he would become an outcast of Hell in this situation (unlike almost everybody except one, I don't buy "redemption" of Rowena for suddenly become a loving mother after Crowley died).

Now onto Cas. I really hope that when Cas was in the Empty making the deal with Shadow he didn't let Naomi out, or the archangels. Because that would make Heaven as fucked up as before.

But do the angels who get out remember all of that past oppression? Do they, now free of Chuck's (the show's) narrative and Naomi's mind control, begin to think for themselves? Do they put the blame in the right places, and not just make Castiel the scapegoat of their enormous misfortune like the show made them do?

Assuming (probably too optimistically, but I can't bear the alternative) that this is the case, Castiel would still be under so much distress, as you described, hearing all the horrors, not wanting to believe, not remembering any of it, yet couldn't not believe.

Then I really don't want him to recover his memory; because it would just be so devastating, especially, also, if he remembered Jack, and realized that his son had learned about all of his "crimes", and understandably became disturbed, if not traumatized by that knowledge.

Whew, knives in the heart at every turn in this story, isn't it?

So then I can only come to one conclusion. Castiel, heartbroken, not knowing who he was anymore, banishes himself from heaven, meeting Crowley who was on the run as an outcast from Hell. Castiel may initially distrust a demon, but he thought himself in no position to judge anyone anymore; while Crowley remembered his fondness for his old friend, and welcomed the clean-slate they were given. Castiel and Crowley found the only source of solace in each other in this new world that was no longer theirs.

What happened to Jack through all this? I have no idea LOL.

Thanks for elaborating on this idea! You blew something up and I followed the ejecta in one direction, but there are a lot more ways to go.

Just saw an impossibly bad take, so to balance that out: in the past you mentioned a story where Tim comes out as a trans woman, what would that look like for you? Do you have any thoughts on making that into a fic?

I've had a lot of scattered thoughts about it but never been able to pin down any scenes concrete enough to turn them into an actual fic. But I love trans!Tim stories whether he's trans fem or trans masc so I've tossed the idea around here and there. Gonna be a little fluid with the pronouns here as Tim's thought process evolves but the basic idea here was:

The seed of the idea would get planted in Tim's mind just before War Games, specifically the one and only time he sees a picture of Steph as Robin. Along with the hurt and anger he expected, there's emotions he doesn't understand, a feeling of longing, jealousy, and desire; not for Steph herself, but for the way she looks in her new costume. For months he's been asking himself, "What do I want, for me?" and now the answer is staring him in the face: This.

But he keeps pushing it aside because there's always something "more important" going on. Worse, as things start to fall apart around him and he loses first Steph, then his dad, and then Kon, the musings about his gender keep getting mixed up in his feelings for other people, especially Kon.

Basically, take all the angst and pain of that era and make it even worse with disphoria and Tim being deep in both denial and the closet and feeling completely unable to open up to anyone about it because of how much it scares him to want something, something she feels like she can't have. Things like him not knowing if he's attracted to Cassie or if he wants to be Cassie, wishes his body looked and moved like that while still having so much strength and power. Fantasizing about how things might've been different between him and Kon, or him and Dick, or him and Damian, if only he'd been born a girl. Falling asleep in the cloning lab and having a nightmare about miscarrying Kon's child, then waking up to find the most recent clone has failed.

Through all that, the only person who has even a hint of what's going on is Cass. She reads it in Tim's body language while they're in Bludhaven together, but understands his fears and lets him keep his confidence. Even after things go to shit for her, she keeps that secret; even brainwashing couldn't get it out of her.

Then Final Crisis happens. Bruce "dies," Dick becomes Batman, Damian becomes Robin. Tim finds himself adrift, with nothing but this crazy-sounding notion of Bruce's survival to his name, and runs away from the Manor...

And this is part of where I stumble because I don't know if it'd be better for Tim to run into Cass at this point or for her to leave him her Batgirl costume and a letter. One way or another, Cass leaves Tim Batgirl, and that's the push she finally needs to crack her egg and start pursing a transition, socially and medically.

She avoids Babs for a few weeks out of shyness and embarrassment until Oracle manages to track this mysterious new Batgirl down, but once confronted she comes clean and Babs is instantly onboard to support her and also keep Dick and Damian out of the loop.

Dick thinks his little brother skipped town and is both confused and a little hurt that Babs won't trust him with the new Batgirl's identity. Damian takes it as a personal insult and starts going out of his way to find and harass said new Batgirl but then she kicks his ass and it turns out Damian shares Bruce's taste in women so now whoops he's got a puppy crush, which everyone who knows the truth about Tim finds hilarious.

Cass one way or another winds up being the one who goes on Brucequest instead of Tim and follows similar beats as Red Robin, minus Tam Fox or losing her spleen. Speaking of Tam, she has a much easier time finding Tim because while her dad does call her home from Russia to help with the investigation at least she doesn't have to globe-trot or get kidnapped by ninjas, she just has to hunt him down in Gotham, possibly while accidentally allied with Vicki Vale.

Tim enrolls in college under Caroline Hill's name and mostly attends to practice passing in public and live out some normal girl fantasies. Kon, Cassie, and Bart all learn what's up even though she's still taking a break from the Titans and of course they're on board and supportive.

And... yeah, that's pretty much the extent of my ideas so far. Broad scope but not a lot concrete to latch onto, which makes it difficult to convert into a fic, but I do love the concept.

I've been thinking. I've seen various posts of 'Evil Zelda and maybe evil Link against Good Ganondorf' and while that is a fun swap-

I like to make things harder for myself.

So for this I want an evil Zelda, sure. No matter the motivs for this she is evil. We have a Gerudo King (we could go with Ganondorf but it might be funner to have be a different Gerudo King being forced into this mess) who sees what is going on and wants to stop the evil spreading.

Depending the placement in time for the races, the other races are in turmoil in someway and honestly don't want to bother with a possible war.

In comes Link. Now for this I don't want just an evil link or a link that is already on the opposing side. I want a Link that is unsure of who to believe. Bonus points if he has a connection to Zelda so he can't just be against her. I want him to be called a coward no matter which side he would later end up with. The pressure of this choice threatens to break him and he takes off.

This leads to the GK (Gerudo King) to search for the hero. He's the only one who can truly stop this madness.

While EZ (Evil Zelda) wants no one to believe there is a hero at all so no one can claim dark times are truly upon them. While also hunting him down as well.

I also want there to be more weight to the conflict on defeating EZ. They can't just-kill her? The whole goddess bloodline could end with her and for lots of zelda lore things that's VERY BAD. So I imagine she either has siblings, that for some reason are never mentioned, or there is another branch in the family that could have claims to the throne. They won't be known plot wise until much later.

I'll add more to this if I come up with anything. I never make au swaps easy for myself. I like to keep things in line while also twisting it into smth fun.

Idea: Port in a Storm (The Punisher)

These are rough notes and therefore subject to change.

Pairing: Frank Castle x Reader

You live in the mountains of Colorado with SON and DAUGHTER in the house that you and your deceased HUSBAND build.

HUSBAND died before the Snap, while you were pregnant with DAUGHTER.

The SNAP didn’t spare your family: YOUNGER SISTER was dusted along with LAWYER, the husband of your OLDER SISTER.

YOUNGER SISTER was pregnant when it happened – after YOUNGER SISTER and your brother-in-law MECHANIC have trying for years to have another child and suffered miscarriages or stillbirths in their attempts – which makes her loss 7 months in a pregnancy that had seemed to be going well particularly devastating to MECHANIC.

You often worry about MECHANIC, hoping he doesn’t do drastic from his pain and leave your NIECE without her father as well as her mother.

One day, during a very nasty thunderstorm – one bad enough to knock out your power – there comes a knock on your door. The arrival is Frank Castle, using an alias, asking to use your phone as his truck has broken down. Unfortunately your phone is dead

You are leery of letting a stranger in your house but it is too dangerous for the man to spend the night in his broken truck. Tornadoes had been reported nearby. He could die if another one touched down here. So you let him stay until morning.

Technically you had a rifle and you knew how to shot. But you had never shot another person, just animals. And animals only to protect your pets or the animals on your father’s ranch.

Joke that your house is a small zoo with a couple of dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and fish. Your kids are very fond of animals and sometimes people dump unwanted pets – mostly dogs – out here.

Maybe HUSBAND was a veterinarian.

Despite seemingly gruff demeanor and scruff appearance, Frank is very sweet and gentle with DAUGHTER, who is terrified of the storm. SON is also scared but is trying to pretend otherwise since he’s ‘the man of the house, gotta to protect Mama and SISTER since Daddy is in heaven.’

You call BROTHER-IN-LAW in the morning, who is a mechanic. He agrees to bring his tow truck up the mountain to take a look at and possibly haul the truck down to town for repairs. BROTHER-IN-LAW can fix it but it will take a couple of days.

The only hotel in town was damaged by the storm so Frank has limited places to stay for those few days. Since he had already spent one night at your place, you agreed to let him stay at your place.

Before you head back up the mountain with your guest, the first murder is discovered.

Murder is part of a conspiracy. You were a lawyer and someone with a grudge from your legal work is looking for revenge:

(1) family law where you represented a battered wife during a very ugly divorce, crazy ex-husband holds you responsible for the lost of his wife and children, your client has been in the wind since the divorce was granted

(2) you were a prosecutor who put several gang members in prison. They took advantage of the Snap to escape from prison and have so far evaded capture. Due to a screw up, you haven’t been warned of the threat

(3) some combination where the crazy ex was in a gang and the family law attorney is one of the early victims.

Frank is soon in Protective Mode, especially when it becomes obvious that bad guys are willing to kill children and are threatening DAUGHTER and SON. Possibly also the others in your family, especially the vulnerable children – NIECE as well as OLDER SISTER’S two boys.
