“Tyranttt!” You moaned.

“I haven't eaten a bite or drank a sip of water for hours. Now you're giving me an exam! “This is not a test, it is torture!” You shouted to the cameras on the wall.

As usual, you were training with Crewel sensei all day long. And it couldn't be said that he was a very kind teacher. He was extra harsh on you, especially compared to the other people he trained.

However, he had especially gotten things out of hand. Today was one of your least favorite days. Surprise exam day. Surprise exams: as the name suggests, you would never know the content and time of the exam. Crewel would put you to the test suddenly, without you even noticing. You especially hated the hands-on ones.

You couldn't eat properly yesterday. You had been training under Crewel Sensei all day. When you returned home, you fell asleep straight away from exhaustion. When you woke up, you found yourself handcuffed in a room. While I was sleepily trying to comprehend what was happening, Crewel Sensei's voice echoed into the room from the ceiling speaker.

“My dear little puppy, guess what time? Correct answer: Surprise exam! Your mission is to get out of the handcuffs and get out of this building within two hours. Let me tell you from the beginning, do not complain, the exam was prepared according to the topics we covered. Then I wish you good luck. Your time has begun.”

“Two hours and 6 minutes nch nch. You need to work harder. 8 minutes to get out of the handcuffs, 43 minutes to open all the locked doors, 40 minutes to pass the obstacles... we better tighten up your training."

You just glared at Divus as he seriously analyzed the exam. You're too hungry to bother with that damn practical exam. You just focused on eating your salad.

“I mean, what was slowing you down? Should we increase the number of exams?

“Sensei, it’s just six minutes, I was tired, unprepared-“

“The aim is to prepare you for all kinds of situations.” Crewel interrupted.You grimaced. You weren't in the mood to argue with him right now.

While Crewel was talking about your mistakes, there was a knock on the door. It was Sam.

“Sam-san!” Your eyes sparkled with joy at the sight of your savior. Whenever Crewel scolded you or increased your training hours, he would save you from Crewel like a savior angel.

“Excuse me to interrupt, but Boss wants the little imp.” said Sam.

“Huh, now? Why does he want Y/n?” Crewel asked with a grimace.

"Who knows. By the way, get it while you're at it.I brought the information you requested.”

He handed Crewel a package. Meanwhile, you escaped at the first opportunity you had and went to Crowley, the head of the mafia.

“Looks like Crewel gave you one of his wonderful exams again, hmm?” The masked man asked, as he poured a tea for you.

"Yes sir."

Dire Crowley is the head of one of the largest organizations in the Underworld and also your protector who took you in when you were ten years old. You had always wondered how such a goofy and slightly weird guy became the head of the mafia.

Once, when you asked Crewel sensei about this, he told you these words.“If you only knew what that man did… Anyway, just be careful with him. He is…the devil himself.”

“You've been with me for a long time, Y/n, and the time has finally come.”He handed you a file.

“Congratulations, you are now an official member of the mafia and here is your first target.”

You started examining the file.

“This man was a traitor we had been looking for a long time. He poses a great danger to the organization. I want you to get rid of him.”

Current time

You were on something soft. You opened your eyes slowly. You felt a pain in your shoulder.

“Jamil! Y/n woke up!”

You heard a joyful familiar voice. The owner of the voice hugged you with joy. Kalim. You tried to comprehend the events in a dazed manner.

That's right, Floyd shot you last and you fainted from blood loss while running with all your strength. And apparently Scarabia had caught you.

“Oh Y/n you really had me worried. If you only knew how scared I was when I saw you like that, shot and unconscious."

You didn't reply. You just stared blankly at Kalim.

“Yes Y/n you had us all so worried.” Jamil entered the room. He had a black agenda in his hand and was wearing a suit. Now if you look carefully, Kalim was also wearing a suit. The welds of weight on his wrists jingled as he turned to survey the room. Oh you were chained.

“Is it allowed to keep such things in the hotel room?” You said.

“Oh, I'm sorry, we brought the silver ones with us because we came here in a hurry, but don't worry, we have gold ones at home.” said Kalim innocently.

You loved Kalim, his sweet and pure nature prevented you from venting your anger on him. You gritted your teeth. You looked at Jamil.

“Kalim, you better go now, you need to greet our guests for the meeting. "I'll be back in fifteen minutes." Jamil dragged the manager out by force.

“But Jamil-“

“Don't worry, nothing will happen. They are both injured and the whole hotel is full of guards.”

After Kalim left, a grin appeared on Jamil's face that you had never seen before. A familiar and yet disturbing grin.

“Congratulations, you are truly someone who lives up to the title of the boss's right-hand man. Sorry, his former right-hand man. You know Kalim was so panicked it was hard for me to calm him down. Especially when you suddenly disappeared he stopped working, coming to meetings…You owe me for this.”

You didn’t answer. You knew he was trying to provoke you.

“I wonder what would have happened if those documents had never arrived? Would the boss throw you aside? Would you be his heir after all the training you received?”

You tried to hold yourself back.

"Who knows." You replied.

A burst of laughter broke out from Jamil. He approached you.

“Oh, you are really tough. It's not easy to break you, but don't worry, we have plenty of time. The doctor will be coming soon to change your bandages, so don't be a hassle. I notified room service for you to have breakfast.”

And he left the room.

You laughed. Oh apparently Crewel Sensei was right. Training would really come in handy.

Once you were free of the chains, you got into the bed and waited for the doctor.Indeed, as Jamil said, the doctor came about fifteen minutes later.You quietly waited for him to approach you on your bed.

“Excuse me, Y/n-san are you awake?”

You didn't reply. Just as the doctor was bending over to lift the blanket on you, you jumped on top of them and gagged them with one of the sheets before they could scream. You undressed the poor doctor while they were struggling in chains made for you.

“I'm sorry, but you know I have to run away. And my clothes are a little off for that.”

You were careful not to attract the suspicion of the guards as you left the room dressed as a doctor. You started walking away from there with normal steps.

Indeed, as Jamil said, there was protection everywhere. As you were about to get into the elevator, you noticed the guards talking on the phone, then they all hurriedly dispersed. Apparently room service had found the poor doctor.

You changed direction. You walked calmly but quickly and pulled the fire alarm. And as you wish, chaos broke out.

While people were screaming and running in panic, you mixed in with them. And you finally reached the exit.

When you left the hotel, you hailed a taxi with the money you got from the poor doctor.

“To the amusement park,” you said to the driver.

Then you called that number with the phone you got from the doctor.

“Hey it's me Y/n. It's time to pay me back. Be at the amusement park. Don't forget to bring a vehicle and weapon with you. You better be on time, Snow White."

“Looks like your training has paid off, Crewel.”The masked man said in a sarcastic tone.

“It's truly incredible, but it's a shame that such a person is a traitor.” said Trein as he caressed Lucius.

“Well, talent is in their blood, after all, he was like that too when he was young.” said Vargas.

“I have work to do. With your permission,” Crewel stood up sharply.

“Oh Crewel, don't be angry-“ but before Crowley could finish his sentence, Crewel spoke angrily.

“You hate it the most when we talk about him. Didn't you declare him a traitor to take over, and completely erased Ramshackle from the mafia? And now you're sacrificing them for your executives."

Crowley smiled under his mask.

“Crewel Crewel, are you really going to play innocent? You were the one who gave them those documents. If they didn't know anything, maybe we would still be living in peace. But no problem. After this game, we will return to our peaceful life again."

Spoilers for Chapter 7

I don't know why, but I've been having this thought on me recently on the differences between how Grim and how Malleus are reacting to someone they care for leaving.

I find this so unbelievably interesting. GRIM of all people (creatures?, monsters?) While very clearly sad, is accepting of the situation? One of the most selfish, obnoxious, and most childest characters in the game.

When Grim is confronted with the realization MC/Yuu will be physically no longer in Twisted Wonderland he basically says "this is not their home, I want them to be happy with their family"

When Yuu leaves, he will be alone. He may not even be able to continue going to NRC. They are two halves of a whole. He may quite literally have to give up his dream. Aside from Ace and Deuce he may be completely alone.

And yet what does he say? "I won't keep them here."

Malleus on the other had, well....

I understand Malleus and Lilia's relationship is more of a father son, guardian child, and he is technically still very young to fae standards, but still...

We know that despite the "air of nobility' Malleus exudes, he is actually VERY childish. He pouts, teases every chance he gets, and gets a kick out of messing with people (scolding sand event, with Grim comes to mind). And yet Malleus is basically "you cannot leave me, I do not allow it. Just go to sleep and everything will get better."

Malleus and Yuu, in my opinion, was not actually that of a real friendship until the end of book 5. I know they met very shortly after the year began, and many dialogue options lead us to believe they actually spent quite a lot of time together. But for a lot of the official story line, Yuu does not even know his real name. He refuses to tell them. I know he may consider Yuu his first real friend, but a real friendship cannot be founded on secrecy and lies.

I have a few more thoughts, but I need to move on.

Like, I know their relationships (From + Yuu, Malleus + Lilia, Malleus + Yuu to an extent) are not the same, but I still find it interesting.

One understands the reality and accepts it, while the other is actively fighting it and dragging everyone else down with them.

One willing to see the truth despite how hurtful it can be and another trying desperately: nay clawing, scratching, and bending over backwards for it to not be real.

A painful truth vs a blissful lie.

It is heartbreaking to watch them try to keep together in their own way.

Deuce Spade

That much is obvious but, he’s gonna be starstruck. Magical wheels are one of his main interests, so he’d definitely be curious about motorcycles too. Besides, you’re a professional, how cool is that?

Asks you all sort of questions about how it’s like, mostly wondering about races, but sometimes about the behind the scenes of it too. Magical wheel races are littered with sponsorships, so he’s curious if you have to deal with things like these too.

He won’t ask to do it, being aware that you being a professional means you probably already have more skilled people who do that for you, but, f you let him do any sort of repair to your motorcycles, he’ll be so honored. He’ll be doing his very best to impress you with his work, just like you’ve impressed him!

Epel Felmier

Ugh, you’re so cool, he’s actually jealous? Epel gets sparkles on his eyes, asking you question about the races in a rapid-fire pace. How did you get into racing? How did you actually learn to do it? Epel wants to do that too!

If your races are getting streamed anywhere, you bet he’s gonna watch every single one of them, and very passionately cheer for you, if not actually show up to watch it live -- Which he does as much as possible, but he can’t always afford, much to his dismay.

Whenever an opportunity for you to give him a ride shows up, he’ll ask for it. Epel loves the adrenaline rush he gets from it, he wants to be the one driving the motorcycle one day, but while he can’t, he’s also having a good time just tagging along too.

The Law System in Twisted Wonderland

A post in which I rant on for far too long about the questionable law system in this game. (Plot Spoilers)

Alright, if you clicked the read more, you either must be really bored or interested. Imma state that these are my observations and I could completely be wrong.

So the first time something tipped me off was with Riddle’s entire arc. For one, it was absolutely normal for him to use his Unique Magic “Off With Your Head” for seemingly trivial matters. I understand the whole “Queen of Hearts” theme going on and stuff, but it led me to question if magic had regulations or not. If magic was such a central part of the Twisted Wonderland universe, there had to have been regulations of when you can or can’t use magic, right?

The next questionable part comes from Leona’s arc and overblot. it’s not even a single part, it’s the entire thing. He and Ruggie committed what was basically sabotage/assault on a lot of the students in the NRC. I don’t think it was meant to be anything life-threatening. It was just enough to put them at a disadvantage or take them out of the running, but the fact still stands that they caused bodily harm to multiple students. (Also, causing someone to fall down the stairs? Isn’t that potentially lethal?) This is all without the whole stampede disaster on the day of the Magift tournament too. Thinking logically, it wouldn’t be that hard to whittle down suspects to Ruggie and Leona as the two behind this whole thing. I don’t think any of the Savannaclaw students were injured, and Ruggie’s unique magic immediately puts him high on the suspect list. There might be a couple students that are up there with him because they have similar Unique Magics like Jamil because of his ability to control other students, but the heat would probably be on Savannaclaw the most, especially since Leona admitted to his plans. While his admission could be hidden and not shown to the public, it’s inevitable that it would slip out at some point because some student couldn’t keep their mouth shut.

Even if it didn’t, I’m surprised that the students who were injured didn’t try to sue Leona or blackmail him at some point. If you have dirt on a prince, you’d probably use it to threaten him. This leads me to one of three conclusions. The first one is that the laws are fast and loose in the Twisted Wonderland world. You could commit arson like Grim does and probably get away with it. This one is probably the least likely one simply due to the fact that everything would come crashing down and turn into the mafia AU where crime runs rampant. The second conclusion is Leona’s family is so powerful that they were able to silence those that tried to blackmail him. This again, insinuates that the law system is fast and loose, but only when it’s about powerful people. The third conclusion is that Crowley was able to cover it up or threaten the students into silence. Regardless of how you look at it, Leona and Ruggie were able to walk off fairly scot-free after harming multiple students.

I would include Azul and his entire thing in here, but I’m pretty sure that he was actually innocent. Sort of. He didn’t force anyone to sign his contracts, and while the odds were incredibly stacked against those who signed, it’s technically their fault for not reading the entire thing before signing and stuff. (Be responsible children, read the entire paper before signing.)

Jamil’s cool and all, but I don’t think that forcing your entire dorm to stay over break is legal. Like, I don’t think that he’s supposed to be able to do that. The only way I see this happening is if he told Crowley that he was keeping everyone for additional training. Even if Crowley gave his approval, he can’t force everyone to stay, so that would mean that everyone there was there of their own will for extra training. Going off for a bit, why did the students even listen to Kalim when he forcibly kept them on school grounds during break? They could’ve just all left and Kalim (Kalim under Jamil’s control?) couldn’t have done anything about it. Keeping Yuu/MC and Grim in the Scarabia dorm against their will also raised multiple red flags. Does the blame fall onto the Scarabia students as well because they went along with this?? Who knows! Then there’s the problem of controlling Kalim. Is that identity theft? I don’t know.

There’s no conclusion to this, I just wanted to write all of my thoughts down about the questionable justice system in the game. If you’ve read this far, thank you for coming to my TedTalk, and have a nice day.

A TW Theme Park AU cause I actually have ideas for this.

Disclaimer: This is born from a Youtube and Pinterest binge I did to for research for an original story. Turns out it was kinda an addictive topic and ended up with this. Don't be surprised if I make one of these for, like, every fandom I'm in.

I'm also using the Disney parks and the Universal parks as reference for some things since they are the most known (specially in this fandom)

The Park itself

So, I thought a lot wheter if the park was either named "Night Raven Park" or "Twisted Wonderland". The later sounds more like a theme park name but it also sounds a little generic. Then I thought about Royal Sword Academy and how it could fit.

I came out with the idea that "Twisted Wonderlad" (Twst) is the company that created both Night Raven and Royal Sword (often known as the Twst Parks). They are built near each other and guests can choose to swich whenever they want.

One of the main appeals of the Twst Parks it's their interactivity. They sell the Magical Pens, which guest can use to do different kinds of tricks (thinks the wands from The Wizarding World but expanded to the whole park).

Funny headcannon: Yuu/Mc is a theme park entusiast that has like, an annual pass or something, and goes pretty much everyday (people with actual annual passes tell me if this is actually factible)

Since we know almost nothing from RSA, I'll be focusing on Night Raven. Now, Night Raven has eight different lands:

Main Street/ Ramshackle Street

The Park's entrance. Essencially Main Street (heh) USA mashed up with New Orleans Square by Tim Burton.

The entertainment is mostly by live artists. It's only ride is the "Haunted Dorm".

It has the most shops out all the lands. Some of them include: "Sam's Mystery Shop", "Beast Slayer", "Key to History" and "Fur Emporium".

Heartslabyul

Has the teacups ride (no, you CANNOT fight me on this), at least two dark rides and a maze like the one in Disneyland Paris.

It has a huge confectionary/bakery that makes the best sweet treats in the park. They are also, "concidentionally", very instagramable/magicamable (?).

Guests unofficially label it as the "Kid zone" due the whimsical theme and the, mostly, family friendly rides.

Savanaclaw

Is mostly known for having the most thrill rides. These include a wooden coaster named "Be Prepared" ("The Wicker Man" from Alton Towers but way more intense) and a drop tower named "Long Live The King" (no, I'm not sorry).

Seriously, the tamest thing here is a climbing wall.

The signature restaurant is a stakehouse named "Predator's Delight". It also has "Hervibore's Oasis", which is a vegan option.

Octavinelle

This land has a water coaster ("Deal with Eels"), a dark ride ("Hidden Grotto")and a dark water ride ("Poor Unfortunte Souls"). It also has a big aquarium in which guest can learn about the sea habitants.

It’s the second land with most shops.

The main restaurant, "What a catch!" is a table service with sea food; because it's wonderful for the kids to learn about these super interesting creatures and, then, have them served on a plate. Fortunally, the other food option is a cafe (yeah, "The Mostro Lounge") inside said aquarium which is, overall, a much better and less traumatizing experience.

Scarabia

This is also a land famous for excinting rides. The most thrilling is a twister roller coaster named "The Desert Cobra". It also has "A New Point of View" which is either a Soarin like attraction or a reverse roller coaster. (I need to save some ideas for RSA, okay?)

However, it's main appeal, are the live shows: dancing, music, short plays and stand ups.

It’s food is almost all Middle Eastern inspired (the park’s developers did actual research, don’t worry). It has one main restaurant but mostly operates on carts.

Pomefiore:

Most of the attractions feature some sort of interaction with the guests. These are heavily based an unique experience that presents a beautiful touch to the guests.

This includes walkthroughs, painting and drawing and cooking.

Speaking of which, it’s signature restaurant “Delightful of Them All” is considered one of the best among theme parks.

Ignihyde

Think Tomorrowland meets The Lost Continent. Weird, I know. Needless to say, it looks beautiful at night.

It’s the most technologically advanced land. In fact, all of the attractions are a type of simulator or feature screens.

Since almost everything is indoors, it’s the perfect place for those guests who need rest from the sun. And air conditioner.

The food is OK, mostly theme park food with some twist.

Diasomnia

This one has hands down the most impresive attractions out of them all, like, the one that has guests waiting four hours. Other rides include dark rides and a walkthrough, each of them amazing.

Despite everything, it has the worst food on the property. It's either this good looking but highly experimental dishes (curtesy of the signature restaurant "Vater Vampyr") or this really generic theme park food; there's no in between.

It also hosts the night shows/spectaculars. These, most likely, include fireworks and a dragon.
