What If: Kokushibo Edition
DISCLAIMER: THIS WORK IS IN ABSOLUTELY NO WAY CANNON TO DEMON BRIDE AND IS NOT AN ENDING. IT IS A WHAT IF IDEA THAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE FUN TO WRITE. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND GOING FORWARD.
WARNINGS: One innuendo and mentions of pregnancy.
Tumblr media
The world was a quiet place today. Just alone with his thoughts and own work.
Widdle. Widdle. Widdle.
It was a rarity that nothing was planned for him today. No work. No responsibilities. No training. No plans. Just whatever he wanted to do today. Which again was rare but not unwelcome. He never did like being left unoccupied for too long however so it would be the perfect time to get the project he wanted to do done. Everything shall go precisely as planned.
Widdle. Widdle. Widdle.
No sounds except for the light bird chiros and the small movements of his hand held knife against the wood. The calloused hands continued their own work pushing the carving tool against the wood slicing off piece after piece little by little with precise knowing strokes. The small pieces falling onto his lap or bouncing off his legs to join the others on the floor.
Widdle. Widdle-
...Ah. There she was.
STOMP. STOMP. STOMP. STOMP.
He didn't even bother looking up as the angry footsteps approached. He knew she was coming towards him long before he even heard her. The force behind the angry footfalls for told the approaching woman's anger but again he was expecting that from the start. He felt no fear as the floor thuds stopped directly behind him. Not even bothering to stop his woodworking.
"REALLY!?"
"You have arrived...I was honestly expecting you..sooner." A hand brought up the tiny wooden piece to a maw holding a jawful of fangs. A breath blowing away any small pieces of wood splinters.
"Do you want to explain a few things going on?"
He finally bothered to turn his head slightly. Standing above him was a woman. Purple eyes staring down at him. Her pretty face brought a fragrance of hydrangeas with her, a familiar scent that calmed his senses. Her expression was one of annoyance which he had been expecting.
"What ever do you mean?"
"Oh don't play games with me." She frowned more before pointing at his face. "I wanted something specific from the kitchen for breakfast today and I was denied but I was given options. Options from a diet plan I was told YOU put into place for me."
"Oh yes. That. ...You are correct." His eyes turned back to the work in his hands-
"Kokushibo, don't you ignore me!" You marched around to stand in front of him as he continued working on whatever it is he was doing. "That's not the only thing you've decided to go out and do! I also found out from Akaza that you ordered him to stop training me for the next ten months!"
"Correct...Hand to hand combat is dangerous...for your body right now...It could put stress on you...or you could get struck in the stomach ...and I won't allow that."
"THAT MAKES NO SENSE!! I also found out that you placed Kaigaku in charge of guarding me?!"
"I'd prefer you to have ..extra protection during this time."
"You scheduled me a doctor appointment for tomorrow without asking me?!"
"I need to be able to.. monitor your health."
"You assigned nannies to 'help me with the boy's?!"
"You'll need the extra help for them."
"...When did you stop trusting me?" You gave a desperate ask making the top pair of eyes turn to you but he didn't pause his work. "If I gave you a reason to doubt I can take care of myself let alone the boys then just...Tell me what I did wrong?" Your arms flopped to your sides. "What did I do to make you lose faith in me?"
"Nothing...You haven't done anything...to make me have that opinion of you... You're capable."
You again held your arms up with a major look of disbelief. "Then why all the sudden changes without telling me first? I'm not hurt and you just said I'm capable. If you think I'm pushing myself too hard, I'll try to fix it but you have to tell me why first."
"Hm... You're certain?"
"You're my husband. I didn't think there'd be secrets between us. Koku..." Hands  reached out to grab his cheeks making him pause his work and turn up to your worried look. "You promised me no secrets or lies on your vows. Honor that."
There was was from him before he sighed through his nose. "As you wish..You would have found out...from the doctor tomorrow...anyways."
"Find out what?"
"You're two weeks pregnant."
Silence. He stared as your body just... paused as if you were in a picture perfectly frozen in time. Your eyes staring ahead of you at him. Mouth closed in a small line. His bottom eyes peeked down as he continued his woodworking unsurprised by your reaction. There was silence still as you remained still... eventually you opened your mouth slightly-
"Twins", he answered matter of factly, "Both male."
You just sat there..your brain spaced out and there was a ringing in your ears as you blanked.  Your thousand mile stare finally slowly refocused. You only managed to yell out one word. "WHAT?!"
"You're two weeks pregnant..Twin boys. I just...told you that."
"I-I JUST-...YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!" Your hands pulled back as your eyes shot down to your middle. It didn't even look like anything changed. You didn't even feel any different or...or... ANYTHING!!! "YOU'VE GOT TO BE JOKING WITH ME?!"
"I never jest... Especially with something so serious."
"HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW!? IM SUPPOSEDLY PREGNANT AND I DON'T LOOK ANY DIFFERENT THAN I DID LAST MONTH!!"
"I have explained how my transparent world...vision works...Have I not?" You froze as finally all his eyes looked at you seriously. Oh..You forgot about that. "I took the proper... precautions early..to avoid any headaches or danger...later. I was serious when I said...I would take care of my remaining..family."
You only stared.. before you slowly looked back to your middle and a hand shakily pressed against your stomach...still didn't feel any different. "...How did this even happen?"
"Three weeks ago...we celebrated our anniversary by-"
A hand quickly pressed against his mouth as your face went beat red. "IT W-WAS A RETORICAL QUESTION!!"
He only made your face burnt hotter by reaching up to hold the hand over his face and press a kiss to the palm. "Yes ...But the end results are welcome."
You sputtered like a fish before just groaning and resting on your knees. For a moment neither person spoke as you rubbed your face and he held your hand to his cheek. "..... How long have you known?"
"Three days...I had a hunch and confirmed...it. I figured you didn't know and wanted...to make preparations first."
"Does anyone ELSE know?!"
"Only you and I...I've told no one else yet."
That relieved you at least but then a wave of dread hit you as a thought popped up. "Oh good gods...What are the boys going to think?"
"Our children will no doubt be quite...happy... Yuichiro however will be stubborn in the beginning...but with time he will come..to terms."
Rui and Muichiro would be excited for this especially with Rui bouncing off the walls becoming a big brother...But..You gave him a slightly worried look with narrowed eyes. He seemed to instantly know what you were thinking about.
"I will not favor these children...over the previous three," he spoke with assurance. "As someone who has..had a childhood plagued with... segregation I will not subject any..of them to that."
You sighed in relief instantly turning your head down..but paused noticing something that you didn't see before. There was four cylinder shaped pieces of carved wood on the opposite side of Kokushibo's lap. All perfectly aligned in a row. Except these weren't just ordinary sticks. The tops were widdled to a semi point and there was a series of holes carved in a series down their spines revealing the hollowed insides. You stared at them before turning your head and finding a dagger and the makings of a fifth hollowed stick in his lap. Slowly you blinked before pointing them out.
"Kokushibo. Are you making...flutes?"
"Yes. I am...nearly finished with the set."
You looked back to him bewildered. "Why?"
"Gifts for our children." He finally released your hand to reach down and remove the dagger and almost finished flute From his lap despite your surprised look. "I had one...as a child..I intend to pass that tradition on."
You stared at him more .. before smiling. "Aw.~ Really? That's so sweet of you...But all of this aside.." You gave him a stern look. "I'm going to continue what I've been doing so far."
"You will not stress..your body."
You made to stand pulling one knee up. "I won't stress myself out but you can't just stop me-" A hand grabbed your wrist and yanked before you could even blink. "EEP!!"
You gasped out as you were pulled forward, and in a second you found yourself placed in Kokushibo's lap with his strong arms cradling you to his chest. The redness in your cheeks was back instantly as he chuckled.
"Just did."
"Y-YOU CHEATED!!" You casted a glare up at his smile. "I wish you would S-S-Stop doing things without telling me you know!"
"Agreed. ...That is why I did not make... arrangements for a nursery yet..That will be a joint decision."
"Well thank you for that." You deadpanned looked at him despite the red in your face and crossed your arms. "Is there anything else you did I should know about?"
"I have thought of names ...for the boys." You blinked and would've shouted at him again if he didn't suddenly gently touch the right side of your stomach staring at it as if he could see something you couldn't. You blinked at jumped slightly at the gentle touch. "Michi." You blinked as his hand moved to the other side. "Yori."
"Michi and...Yori?" Your rose a brow before looking back at him. "You named one of our sons after you and didn't ask me first? I don't dislike it but you could've at least.." You paused..."Wait.." You narrowed your eyes. "Yori??...As in-"
"Do not say it-"
"Yorichii."
Kokushibo visibly paused...and his eyes looked away. ".... Perhaps we should rethink the names-"
"Nope! Too late!" You smirked. "Mama's decided she likes those names. Their nicknames can be Mi-Mi and Yor-Yor.~"
"Stop."
"Aw. Don't tell me Mi-Mi senior is mad. I think it's cute.~"
"I regret not waiting."

Antis are so interesting to me sometimes because there are two animes I love that have very similar character dynamics, Ancient Magus Bride and Black Butler and I see them get treated very differently.
Both shows involve an extremely traumatized teenage orphan voluntarily selling themself for a sense of safety and control. Ciel sells his soul for revenge to Sebastian and Chise sells herself for auction, risking a life of slavery, just for a place to call home.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elias Ainsworth, a centuries old demonic mage, drops £5,000,000 to purchase Chise, a 15 year old girl, with the expressed intention of teaching her magic and making her his bride and she has little to no say in the matter.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And Sebastian, a centuries old demon, forms a contract with Ciel, a then 10 year old now 14 year old boy, where he openly expresses his desire to consume his soul, constantly grabs and speaks to him in incredibly suggestive ways, and while it is less blatant there is a heavily implied romantic/sexual relationship between them in which Ciel would actually have all the power and control since Sebastian is incapable of acting against his wishes.
Personally, I've never seen anybody talk badly about Elias, I've never seen anybody call him a groomer or talk about the blatant power imbalance between him and Chise.
Maybe I'm just missing it but I've only seen people mention how cute they are and I agree but I feel like some of those same people would see Sebastian and Ciel as incredibly toxic and gross when realistically they're far closer to being equals in their dynamic and that's where I get a little bit lost.

Hazbin Hotel Ep1 Rewrite
Okay, let’s get the shit I like first out of the way. Animation? Beautiful. Art style? Iconic. Music? Pops off.
Okay, now the fun part…
First let me just say, I adore biblical lore. So when I see something changed from the og lore, where I think the og was more interesting, I cannot let it go.
(I’m gonna focus on the Charlie storyline in the episode)
1. The Backstory
Let’s start with the first scene, the backstory of Lucifer and Lilith. In the show, they got some of the timeline and motivations wrong. I understand that the story is sugar coated, but hear me out.
“Once upon a time, there was a dazzling kingdom protected by golden gates, known as Heaven. Home to beings of pure light. Angels that worshiped good and lived in peace and harmony under the rule of God. The most beautiful of the Angels was Lucifer. He was a dreamer, with fantastical ideas for all creation. But he was restricted by God and the elders of Heaven, for they felt his way of thinking was dangerous to the order of their world.
Outraged by this injustice, Lucifer gathered an army of Angels, and declared war on the kingdom of Heaven. The battle raged on for centuries, but in the end, Heaven reigned victorious. As punishment for their betrayal, Lucifer and his army were cast out of Heaven. Banished to a crumbling wasteland, where the light of God could not reach. But Lucifer would not wallow in failure. From the barren landscape he rose a beautiful golden palace, crowned himself king and crafted a plan to share his freedom with God’s newest creation. Humanity.”
(I like to imagine that when Lucifer and his army fell, their wings burned up, leaving scattered feathers everywhere. In order to fly to Eden, Lucifer gathered these burned feathers and turned them into a new pair of wings for himself. They were black, messy, and trailed billowing smoke, but they could fly.)
Now for the Lilith part of the story. The more popular interpretation of her is that she is the first wife of Adam, but there is another version too, one where she is Adam’s second Wife after Eve. I personally prefer the latter because I can’t see anyone sinning or getting cast out of Edan before Eve eats the apple.
“He approached the garden of Edan in disguise, and offered the forbidden fruit of knowledge to the mother of humanity, Eve, who gladly accepted. But with the gift of knowledge and freedom, came a terrible curse. Evil bleed into the earth, and humanity was infected by darkness and sin.
For her disobedience Eve was cast out of Edan, to the dismay of her love, Adam. To appease him, the Angels crafted him a new bride, Lilith. Lilith was beautiful, with a voice so enchanting even Lucifer was mesmerized, but she was strong willed and refused to be subservient to her new husband. She fled from the garden, and rather than chase her, Adam found the tree of knowledge and bit into the forbidden fruit, so he could follow his true love, and be with her once more.
Lilith wandered, lost and alone, until she was found by Lucifer. Enamored by her beauty and iron will, he gave her his heart and made her his queen.”
Then you have the bit about Lucifer becoming depressed while Lilith thrived in Hell. I hate this! I was looking forward to a demonic Mortica and Gomez, not another Stolas and Stella. Plus, I’ve never been a fan of uwu sad misunderstood Lucifer. He is a complex character, but too often he’s over simplified by people who read Paradise Lost in high school and misinterpreted Lucifer as a tragic anti hero who was treated unfairly by the evil Angels. Lucifer can be tragic, even sympathetic. He can be fun and a caring father. But don’t forget that he is king of Hell. He is the prince of pride. He has an ego the size of east Texas and waged war against God himself.
And let’s not forget that in the show he is the head honcho over a strict cast system that encourages violence, allows the worst of the worst to take power, and leaves the hellborn races at the bottom at a severe disadvantage.
In this rewrite, Lucifer and Lilith essentially switch places, except Lilith isn’t a pathetic push over, she’s an incredibly famous rockstar, who’s always busy and not around often, but still has a bigger role in her daughter’s life than her husband, who’s been mia doing king shit.
And the last thing we hear about in the intro monologue is that the exterminations happens to prevent Hell from rising against them, which while that may be the case, don’t have Charlie say it!!! That realization for her would make the entire hotel superfluous! Charlie has to think that the problem truly is overpopulation.
2. Meeting with Adam
Let’s start with Adam himself. I hate this character. Especially as an adaptation of Adam. Yes, Adam is misogynistic. He expected Lilith to be subservient to him, but he wouldn’t be the frat boy type of misogynist, he’d be the old school chivalrous type. Grandpa style sexism. And shouldn’t the father of humanity care about his descendants? It doesn’t make any sense for him to be an executioner. He should be the leader of the guardian Angels or something.
In this rewrite, Adam is not the leader of the executioners, instead it’s the Angel Dumah. Dumah is the angel over the wicked dead, and he was appointed by God to torment sinners in Hell.
I want him to be an actual intimidating antagonist. He rarely speaks (his name means “silence”) and has many eyes (is described as having a thousand eyes)
As for the exorcists, they are Angels, but not actual dead humans wearing mask. They just look like that. Dumah is described as having tens of thousands of Angels of Destruction at his disposal. That’s what the exorcists are going to be, but instead of thousands, I’ll give him five. They don’t speak and are hardly sentient. They stand on top of the tower like gargoyles, until they “come to life” for the execution.
“But it’s a comedy! Shouldn’t they be funny?” No. It’s all about how characters react to them. The Litch in Adventure Time is a good example of this.
So obviously the meeting goes a lot differently.
Charlie gets a call, looks at the number, and excitedly tells everyone to, “shooooosh!” She takes the call nervously, saying, “yeah! Okay! Yes! Of course! I’ll be right there! Thank you SOOO much!!!” She hangs up and happily tells Vaggie that Dumah requested a meeting with her. Vaggie is nervous and says she should probably go with her, but Charlie says that she’ll be fine and tells her to stay and work on the commercial. She leaves excited that the Angels may finally be taking her seriously.
She makes it to the clock tower’s board room, where Dumah sits silently at the end of the table. Charlie nervously starts to greet him before she realizes they’re not alone. The Angels, Gabriel and Uriel have come from Heaven, for a meeting with Hell’s princess.
Uriel remains professional, politely bowing her head as she greeted Charlie. Gabriel on the other hand, threw his arms out, happily yelling, “Charlotte!!!” He wrapped her in an uncomfortably tight and awkward hug, saying how much she’s grown since he last saw her. He’s like a chill but estranged uncle meeting his now adult niece who he hasn’t seen since she was a baby and has no memory of him whatsoever.
Uriel watches the whole thing in embarrassment. She tells Charlie that Dumah had contacted them, regarding some, “interesting,” ideas about the extermination.
Charlie starts with her pitch, but Gabriel insists that they should take some time to catch up first. He claps his hands and summons plates of food for everyone. When we cut back to them, Gabriel is in the middle of telling the story about almost getting his ass kicked by Joseph when he told him his virgin wife was pregnant.
Uriel cuts him off, saying she doesn’t need to hear this story for the eighth millionth time. She turns to Charlie, exasperated, and tells her to get on with the pitch.
Charlie says that she has a potential solution for the over population problem in Hell. Uriel, Gabriel, and Dumah look at her blankly. Gabriel asks, “overpopulation?”
Charlie goes on to explain that she knows overpopulation is a big problem, but 275 sinners were executed this year alone and she just can’t stand to watch her people be slaughtered anymore.
Uriel asks if she’s suggesting an alternative, and Charlie very excitedly pitches her idea for the hotel. Uriel and Gabriel wear a matching “wtf” face and look back and forth at eachother like, “does this girl know what she’s suggesting?”
As Charlie is finishing, Uriel is visibly annoyed. She interrupts Charlie, complaining that this is ridiculous and has all been a massive waste of time as she stands up to leave. Charlie tries to stop her, saying, “please, you don’t understand.”
Uriel snaps back, “no, you don’t understand! They had their chance in life and they earned damnation.”
Charlie responds, “you're wrong. Sinners made mistakes, sure, but everyone makes mistakes.”
Uriel pinches the bridge of her nose (or where a nose would be on a person) “a mistake happens once. It’s an accident, an error in judgment due to naivety. Of course mistakes can be forgiven, but we’re not talking about mistakes, are we? These sinners had a choice, and they chose to live in sin.”
“A choice they now regret!” Charlie defends.
“It takes a lot more than regret to be forgiven.” Uriel says coldly. “It takes remorse.”
Gabriel chimes in, “she has a point, Charlie. It’s easy to make someone regret their actions, but to have them feel true selfless remorse, that is much more difficult.”
Charlie furrows her brow and starts to look defeated.
“But perhaps not impossible.”
Charlie beams with excitement. Gabriel explains that this is a big decision, too big to be made right now, but if she can successfully redeem one demon, they will allow her to come to heaven and pitch her idea to the entire Angelic court. Uriel tries to argue, but Gabriel just says they’ll discuss it later. Charlie gives him a tight hug before he and Uriel disappear.
As she turns to leave, Dumah puts his hand on her shoulder. This is the first time he’s moved in the entire scene. He stares at her coldly and says, “the only reason you’re here is your father has spared you from the executioner’s blade. If I had my way. Each and every one of you would be slaughtered.”
Charlie stares up at him. “I’ll keep that in mind.”
For context, part of the reason Gabriel and Uriel were initially confused by Charlie’s proposal is because they know that Lucifer is trying to keep Hell’s population as high as possible, in preparation for the second war with heaven. That’s why he and the other princes of hell work to manipulate humanity and temp them towards sin (i.e. succubi and incubi). That’s why he arranges marriages between powerful demons to make powerful demon children (i.e. Stolas and Stella). He needs as many demons possible for his army if he’s gonna have a chance at winning. So obviously, sending sinners to heaven, aka the opposing force, is the LAST thing Lucifer would want.

I'm Ready to Go DPxDC
TW: suicide
Tim woke up groggy, sleep melding his eyelids shut and a throbbing pain came from his abdominal area. Beneath him he could feel the rock-hard medical bed he was laying on, the mattress having nearly no give to it. Shifting his arm ever so slightly, he could feel an IV needle embedded in his veins. He stayed quiet, though, as he forced his eyes to rip open. The dull lights of torches had him almost immediately realizing where he was as his brain slowly started to kick back on.
He was back in the underbelly of the League of Assassins and could smell the sulfuric stench of the Lazarus Waters nearby. The sharp pain stabbed through his abdomen once again and Tim bit his lip to hold back from the whimper that threatened to escape.
“Ah, I see you are finally awake, Detective,” a familiar, posh voice said lightly from beside Tim’s head. His eyes whipped over to find Ra’s Al Ghul staring down at him with those beady, leering eyes of his.
“What the hell happened?” Tim snarled out as he ignored the stabbing pains in his abdomen and forced himself to sit up.
Ra’s tsked. “It would seem the Widower got his hands on you. But do not worry my young detective, I ensured you were safe and taken care of,” he said with a sly grin that Tim knew not to trust. “You see upon his attack you lost a vital organ and I took it upon myself to remove a few others just so that I could have them for safekeeping,” he said, eyes glittering with glee.
“Which ones,” Tim snarled out. There was something far too uncomfortable with the fact that Ra’s was just keeping Tim’s organs somewhere. He didn’t trust the Demon’s Head with his body like that and knew that the only reason Ra’s Al Ghul would keep them would be for nefarious reasons. He would need to get rid of them before he left this hell hole.
“Your spleen was the most damaged one. But really I saw no need in you needing to keep your gallbladder and your appendix. You may know that they are simply evolutionary leftovers so I chose to remove them,” he said with a shrug. “As well as a few other things. But that is neither here nor there, you’ll be healed within the next twenty-four hours.”
The vigilante ticked off in his head that Ra’s had taken a few other things from his as well and made a note to figure out just what exactly he had taken from Tim as soon as he could figure it out.
Tim arched an eyebrow at the man. “And why do you say that?” He asked, looking over his body and searching for Ra’s face for whatever the hell he was missing here. Why the hell was Ra’s doing this? What was his plan? His motive?
“Because I have a proposition for you, Timothy,” he said with a smug smile. “Currently you are being fed just enough of diluted Lazarus Water to keep you alive. In twenty-four hours you will be dipped into the Lazarus Waters and healed completely and will no longer be at risk of death.”
“And what’s the catch?” Tim asked, carefully crossing his arms over his chest as he looked over the Demon’s Head.
“The catch, as you say, Detective, is that you will only take that lovely dip in the Lazarus Water to heal your poor, broken body, is if you agree to be my bride and assist me in creating the perfect heir,” he crooned, leaning close to Tim, placing a pointer finger beneath Tim’s chin to tilt his face up to look at him.
“And if I refuse?” Tim asked.
Ra’s shrugged his shoulders. “You will be disconnected from your intravenous line and will be cut off from the Lazarus Waters that are currently keeping you alive. So the choice is yours, die or be healed and be mine. And if you choose death, do not worry my beloved. Your organs will be more than enough for me to create the perfect clone of you.”
Tim shuddered in horror as Ra’s stared at him with that evil, predatory smile of his and Tim found himself shrinking back in the medical bed. This wasn’t part of the plan. He knew what he was getting into when he had come to Ra’s for help. Knew that asking Ra’s to help him get proof to show that Bruce was still alive, somewhere in the timestead would be tricky. But this wasn’t what he was expecting either. He knew that Ra’s was sneaky and conniving but to force Tim into a marriage with him? Didn’t he care that Tim was barely seventeen?
“Can I have time to think about it?” He asked, staring up at the assassin king with tired, weary eyes. His body felt so, so heavy at that moment.
Ra’s simply leaned forward and pressed a possessive kiss to Tim’s head. “Choose well, my beloved,” he crooned before leaving Tim alone in the room. Tim stared at the wall in front of him, his eyes unseeing as his brain tried desperately to figure out a solution, to come up with some way to get himself out of this situation.
He was connected to an IV that was giving him enough Lazarus Water to keep him alive. He was apparently missing multiple organs, some which were likely important to keep him alive. If he even managed to break out of the League of Assassins base how long would he last before his body succumbed to its various injuries?  He could live without his spleen, appendix, and gallbladder but Ra’s had said he had taken other things. And that had him nervous. All of his limbs were intact. He pulled the blanket covering his legs to find bare feet intact and there. He wiggled his toes just to be safe.
Tim carefully maneavuered himself to be in a full sitting position to take better account of his body. He looked over his nude body, taking note of the new scar that crossed Tim’s stomach and tried to even his breathing as he realized the emptiness on his chest. The Lazarus Water that was already being fed into his system had already healed all of the incisions, leaving nothing but faint scars in its wake.
His breasts were gone.
He furrowed his brow as he ran a shaky hand over his now flat chest, taking note that Ra’s had not bothered to have his nipples sewn back onto his body upon his mastectomy. It was a surgery that Tim had been thinking about getting ever since he had come to terms with the fact that he was transgender, but one that he hadn’t decided to get yet due to his own fears of having the top surgery and the long healing process that came with it.
Now, though, he didn’t seem to have to worry about it. And if Tim was being honest, it kind of made him sad. He had looked forward to the day he would get to tell his family that he was scheduling his top surgery, and looked forward to the feeling of having them removed and the gender euphoria that would come with it. But now he was just sad. Ra’s had taken the decision away from him and that hurt more than he expected it to.
Ra’s likely thought he was doing Tim a favor by removing them himself. Like some kind of morbid wedding gift, or a way to sway Tim to agree to marrying Ra’s.
“Fuck,” he whispered and looked down at the surgical scar that covered the lower part of his abdomen. Ra’s wanted an heir so it was unlikely he took Tim’s reproductive organs, not only that but it didn’t seem like Ra’s had decided to give Tim bottom surgery as well which likely meant he was wanting to have Tim give birth the old fashioned way and wasn’t that fucked to think about?
He rubbed his fingers across the scar carefully, still staring at them in horror before looking over the rest of his body, he still had all of his fingers, his ears were both there, and nothing else seemed to have been altered without TIm’s permission.
“Fuck,” he whispered out. “Fuck,” he shouted, slamming the blanket back over his legs and letting out a groan. He had no way of knowing what else Ra’s would have removed from him, no clue how he would get out of here. He was naked as the day he was born, his body was now fully relying on the Lazarus Waters.
Ra’s had made sure that his options were as narrow as possible. If Tim were to even try to escape he would need to get anything that had his DNA from Ra’s to ensure that a clone wouldn’t be mad. But would he have enough time to do that without being connected to the IV any longer?
His options truly were death or marriage.
What a fucking shitshow.
“I wish I could find at least a third option. Anything would be better than this,” he whispered sardonically.
“So you wish it, so it shall be,” a feminine voice whispered in Tim’s ear before a soft sigh stirred through the air. Tim whipped his head around for a moment before his eyes landed on the bubbling Lazarus Pit that was not too far from him and his hospital bed.
He watched as a woman slowly emerged from the pits, a being unlike anything Tim had ever seen. Her skin was the same color green as the Lazarus Pits. her hips ended down to a tail, blue skirt seemed to cover her lower half, and a blue top covered her chest. Gold bangles rested on her green arms along with lilac wrist braces. A light blue tiara sat upon her dark black hair as she floated towards Tim.
Her hand cupped his face gently as she gave him a sad, soft smile. “My child,” she said softly. “I understand what you are experiencing. Once, many years ago, Ra’s Al Ghul gave me a very similar choice as yours. Before my death, I was a harem girl who had one Ra’s heart and he had promised to grant all of my hearts desires, had even promised me a kingdom of my own,” she said and sadness shone through her bright red eyes as she held Tim’s face. “That was until I was no longer enough for the Demon’s Head wife who learned of our relationship and did what she could to get rid of me. Not that Ra’s tried very hard to protect me from the woman,” she said with a humorless laugh.
“What does this have to do with me?” Tim asked, eyeing the pit demon warily, not sure what to do with this new information. He was unfortunately not surprised by her story, it sounded exactly like something that Ra’s Al Ghul would do to someone.
“Upon my death, my spirit has wandered around forever granting others wishes, yet at a great personal cost,” she said softly. “For that was what happened to me, I was given a gift unlike anything else yet in the end it cost me my life.”
“And you can what? You can grant my wish? Give me a third option to get away from Ra’s?” Tim asked, arching his brow.
The being nodded her head, sorrow clear upon her face. “I can,” she said softly. “My king, King Phantom, he is unlike anything I have ever seen in my existence. I can have him turn you into a being like himself, if you will allow me to grant your wish, he will appear and he will give you a third option.”
The being gave Tim a sad smile. “I wish that there was more that I could do, but this wish is the only way I can help,” she told him. Tim stared at her for a moment, looking over the being's face, studying her features. If what she was telling him was true, that Ra’s had killed her, she had to have been a ghost. Was she trapped here? Was there any way that he could get her a different place to haunt rather than the fucking League of Assassins base?
“What if I wished for you to be free instead?” He asked and the woman let out a loud laugh.
“Oh you sweet child, I am free. I can go wherever I would like whenever I would like. I am here because I made sure that no one would suffer the same fate as I did at the hands of Ra’s Al Ghul and his wife. And I will not allow you to suffer at the hands of the Demon’s Head.”
Tim pursed his lips. He had no other options. He knew that this was a risk. There was a chance that this ghost was lying to him about her entire tragic backstory just to trick him into agreeing. But what did he have to lose? He was going to die as it was. His only options at the moment were to marry Ra’s or die and have a clone replace him and neither option was good. Whatever option this ghost was giving him, it had to be better than his current options. Even if she did say it would come at a great cost of its own.
Anything would be better than his current options.
“What’s your name?” He asked, looking up at the ghost.
She gave him a lovely smile. “Desiree,” she said softly. “Now, allow me to grant your wish, my dear and let us get you far, far away from Ra’s Al Ghul.”
He nodded his head. “Do it,” he whispered, his heart feeling like someone had clenched it in their first.
Desiree gave him a gleeful smile and raised her hands to the air as green smoke started to fill the room. “So you wished it! So it shall be!”  She shouted before a being started to slowly rise from the smoke and Desiree seemed to completely disappear from the room.
In her place stood a boy about Tim’s age. He had snow-white hair, glowing green eyes, and lightly blue skin. He looked around the room curiously before his eyes landed on Tim’s face and his head tilted to the side in curiosity.
“Hm, I’m never part of Des’ wishes anymore,” he said curiously as he stepped forward and continued to look Tim over.
Tim gave him a wary look. “King Phantom?” he asked hesitantly and a look of annoyance flashed over the being’s face for a split second before he huffed out a laugh.
“I’m not king anything,” he said as he walked towards Tim and sat at the foot of his hospital bed. “But that’s a story for a different time. Desiree seems to think that I am the one to grant your wish.”
He looked Tim over for a moment with eyes far older than that of a teenager. It reminded Tim of his own eyes, eyes that had seen the very worst of the world, had seen the very worst of himself and had come back in one piece despite all the odds.
“The way Des grants wishes has already given me the information I need to make it happen,” he said and winced slightly as he looked Tim over once again. “Death or marriage, what a shitty decision to make,” he said wryly.
“You don’t understand-”
“I do,” he said, cutting Tim off before the teenager could grow any more indigent at the moment. “I know all about Ra’s Al Ghul and the evil he is capable of. He’s a disgusting worm and I’m unfortunately not allowed to interfere. But what I can do is make it where he can’t get his hooks into you if you so wish,” he said with a small smile, showing little dimples in his cheeks.
“So what’s the alternative? Desiree said it comes at a great price,” Tim said warily, still eyeing the being up and down.
Phantom huffed out a breath as he looked over the room they were currently in surveying the cave for a moment. “It does, you’d become like me. You’ve sustained far too much damage to live a normal life ever again but we can work with that. You’ll become something called a halfa. Half ghost,” a bright light shone in the room for a moment and when Tim blinked back the spots in his vision he found a human teenager sitting in front of him. Gone were the otherworldly features, instead he found a dark-haired teenager with pale white skin, blue eyes and rounded-off ears rather than the pointy ones he had before. “And half-human,” he said with a small smile.
“But the human half, would it be able to survive? I’m missing some pretty important parts,” he said with a wince and Phantom shrugged. “Yeah, your human body won’t be alive because of your heart or lungs or any of that. In its place, you’ll have something much better, much more powerful, and potent running in your veins. It’s similar to the Lazarus Waters but better, purer.”
Tim listened with close attention as Phantom explained ectoplasm to him, explaining how it would replace any part of Tim that was no longer functional. According to Phantom, it was currently what kept him alive as it was. Phantom’s own change into being a halfa had brought him back from the dead, restarted his heart and brain, and kept him going. He explained that he no longer needed to eat or drink as the ectoplasm kept his human body alive. He admitted that he still enjoyed doing those things and was able to do so without any real consequence.
What he was explaining to Tim sounded like a dream come true if the vigilante was going to be honest.
He had never been good about taking care of himself. Had always struggled with remembering to eat and hydrate. He went days at a time without sleep and apparently being a halfa would do that for him.
There had to be a catch, though, there was always a catch and Desiree had already said that much.
“But the cost?” Tim asked.
“You’ll be dead,” Phantom said softly, his eyes sad. “You’ll have your human body but you’ll still be a half ghost. You’ll be forced to suffer from obsessions as each ghost does, to bend to the will of your obsessions. Des’ is to grant wishes for others since she never got hers fulfilled. Mine is safety. I died because my parents didn’t care about my safety or the safety of others and now i’m obsessed with ensuring the safety of everyone around me, of protecting them from harm.”
“Like a vigilante,” Tim said with a small smile. Phantom gave him that sad smile.
“Like a vigilante,” he said with a sigh before he shook his head. “Now, the only other main stipulation to this is that you’ll be bonded to me. But I think a bond with a weird ghost teenager is a little preferable to a marriage with a creepy immortal assassin,” he said before giving Tim a nervous look. “It’s the only real option I have that keeps you mostly alive and not married to the creep. Hell, once we do it, I’ll even help you destroy this place and deal with the consequences of my actions later.”
Tim cocked his head to the side. Marry Ra’s, die and have a clone replace him, or become half-dead and bonded to a ghost he didn’t know anything about. His options were absolute shit but the decision was thankfully easy to make. Phantom’s option at least gave him an out and that was more than the other two did. And even if he was going to be bonded to Phantom, which he had a feeling was a ghost equivalent of marriage, he could see the two of them at least becoming friends after all of this. And maybe Phantom would even train him in his new form once he took it.
Maybe he could even get Phantom to help him find Bruce. Ra’s was obviously a dead end and was not going to do what Tim needed and Phantom could possibly give him a better perspective on how to find Bruce. He was a ghost after all, maybe he would know more about the situation than any of the living did.
“What do we have to do?” Tim asked, eyeing the human teenager in front of him warily.
Phantom just grinned, a smile that was still just a little too inhuman for his human physique. “We’ll have to kill you,” he said before looking around curiously. “Do you have a preference on how you die? I died by electrocution and honestly, I can’t recommend it. Ten out of ten would not recommend it.”
Tim huffed off a soft laugh and shook his head. “Can you get me a knife? I can do it myself.”
Phantom frowned at him yet produced a sharp knife from thin air. It was a simple thing with a black handle and a long slim silver blade. It was beautiful and incredibly sharp. Just what Tim needed to get the job done.
With nimble, sure fingers he disconnected himself from the IV that was currently feeding him Lazarus Water to keep him alive. He hissed as he removed the needle and allowed the arm to freely bleed, it wasn’t like he mattered, he was about to die anyway.
“And you’re sure this will work?” Tim asked as he took the handle of the blade from Phantom who was still watching him warily.
He nodded and with a flash of light changed back to his Phantom form. Only now his eyes glowed a bright blue color. “It will,” he said solemnly.
Tim nodded once and before he could stop himself or talk himself out of it, he took the knife and slid it along the scar that already marred his throat from a previous murder attempt from Jason. He didn’t feel much as the blood slipped from the wound, the knife slipped into his lap but Tim wasn’t paying attention to it. Not when ectoplasm poured from Danny’s body and straight into the gaping wound in Tim’s throat, filling his body and burning him with a power unlike any other.
It wasn’t life that was now filling Tim’s veins, it wasn’t life that was now forcing his heart to continue beating as sharp pain burned across his throat. It was something unlike anything Tim had ever felt. It wasn’t life, but it sure as hell wasn’t death either.
It was a magic that was unparalleled. He had never felt anything like this in his entire existence. It felt as if his very molecules were being changed and arranged. Tim had never wanted to die so badly in all of his life.
He had undergone extreme torture at the hands of mad men, had been nearly murdered by two of his brothers, he had gone through hell and back, and yet nothing compared to the burning, burning, burning pain that was now filling his body.
A gasp escaped his lips and Tim found no relief in the air that now filled his lungs. He wasn’t sure when he had closed his eyes but forcing them to open was a feat unlike any other.
When they finally split open everything looked different.
The world was sharper, clearer than it had ever been, he sniffed and nearly cried out at the stench that flooded his nostrils. The putrid sulfur nearly had him gagging and a soft chuckle made its way to his sensitive ears.
“Yeah the change in your senses is a mind fuck,” Phantom said with a small smile. “Welcome to the halfa life,” he said and held out a hand. Tim carefully took it and finally took note of the change in his own skin color. Gone was the pale white skin that he had gotten from Janet Drake, in its place was a light green colored skin, a pale mint green color. His fingers were now tipped with dark claws that were pointed into tips.
“I’m green,” he mused, turning his hand this way and that. Phantom snickered.
“I’ll have to get you a mirror,” he said before a soft smile appeared on his face. “Your ghost form is very beautiful.”
Tim felt his cheeks heat up slightly and he looked up at Phantom, shock covering his face. “T-thank you,” he said softly. Phantom just cracked a grin.
“You know, I don’t think I ever got your name,” he said and held out a hand. “The name’s Danny, by the way. Danny Phantom.”
Tim took the cold, blue hand in his own green hand and shook it once. “Tim, Tim Drake, or better known to some as Red Robin.”
“Well Red Robin, how about we get the second part of your wish taken care of and then I can whisk you away to learn how to use your new powers before you go back home?” Danny suggested as he got off the bed and floated in front of Tim, his legs fusing together to form a tail. Tim frowned and looked at his own legs before realizing he was no longer naked, no longer covered by the thin, satin blanket that Ra’s had provided for him.
Instead, he was wearing a different form of his Red Robin suit. The suit was the exact same as his old one, the main difference being that this one was all black and was missing his cowl. He pressed a hand to his face and felt the familiar texture of a domino mask covering his face and a long black cape behind him.
“Don’t worry, I’ll get you a mirror when we get out,” Danny told him before he held his hand out once more. “Now let’s go.”
Destroying the labs and finding all of the tissue Ra’s had stolen from Tim’s body had been far easier than he had expected it to be. Danny had turned the two of them invisible and shot beams of ectoplasm at different targets in the lab, destroying pretty much everything in sight. He had then looked at Tim with a wide, mischievous grin on his face and Tim found himself growing more and more okay with being bonded to Danny.
The two had found themselves flying off into the night with the entire League of Assassins base burning behind them. Danny had flown him through the air, their hands interlocked and wind blowing through his hair until he had gotten far enough away to open up a portal that the two flew into.
“You know, I think being married to you won’t be that bad,” Tim said with a laugh as they landed on a green island in the middle of a strange dimension.
Danny spluttered. “What? What are you talking about?” He asked, looking at Tim like he had grown a second head.
Tim frowned. “You said we were bonded,” he said and Danny nodded. “Which I assumed is the ghostly equivalent of being married.”
At that Danny gave him a disbelieving look before throwing his head back and letting out a loud laugh. “Oh Ancients, no, no! I’m only seventeen! I’m not ready for marriage.” Now Tim felt dumb. He frowned as Danny stepped towards him and ran his fingers through Tim’s wispy white hair. “We aren’t married, Tim. Bonding is something between an adult ghost and a baby ghost. Basically, our cores are bonded together, since you’re a baby ghost still you don’t know how to regulate your ectoplasm, change forms, or well, be a ghost. My job is to help you do all of that until you’re sure that you can survive on your own without my assistance. If you’re hurt or in trouble, your core will call out to mine and I can come and help you with whatever it is. And then when your core has fully developed and you can handle your powers on your own, the bonding will fade.”
Danny bit his lip and gave Tim a small smile. “If it’s any consolation, I do think you’re very pretty and a lot of fun. But I would never try to force someone into a marriage. Especially not after they were just told that their only options were to marry a creepy ninja assassin who’s like eight hundred years old or die and have a clone replace him.”
“You think I’m pretty?” Tim asked dumbly. The events of the day were starting to catch up to him and he would be the first to admit that it had made him a little dumber than usual.
“Very,” Danny said seriously. “Now, why did you go to Ra’s Al Ghul in the first place?”
Tim let out a breath and explained to his new friend what exactly was happening and Danny just grinned evilly. “What is it?”
“The ghost of time owes me a favor, come on,” he said and took Tim’s hand once more. Tim felt his stomach flutter as the two flew through the purple skies. Maybe being a halfa wouldn’t be too terrible, especially if he had Danny at his side.

So we all know this Shadowhunter children's rhyme, right? We wouldn't be true TSC fans if we weren't.
Black for hunting through the night
For death and mourning the color’s white
Gold for a bride in her wedding gown
And red to call enchantment down.
White silk when our bodies burn,
Blue banners when the lost return.
Flame for the birth of a Nephilim,
And to wash away our sins.
Gray for knowledge best untold,
Bone for those who don’t grow old.
Saffron lights the victory march,
Green will mend our broken hearts.
Silver for the demon towers,
And bronze to summon wicked powers.
And remember that short story, where Jace proposes to Clary the first time, and quotes, "Green will mend our broken hearts," and how it makes sense because Clary's eyes are green and she mended the person Jace used to be and made him a happy man? In this scene here:
Tumblr media
Well, what if that's applicable to other TSC characters as well? Specifically the ones coming up in TWP?
Because, for starters, Ty has gray eyes: as in Gray for knowledge best untold. And we all know how smart Ty is, and how much he wants to learn. He's a freaking Centurion for the Scholomance by the time TWP rolls around!
Secondly, Kit has blue eyes, as in, Blue banners when the lost return. Because Kit is a loss to the Blackthorns, especially to Ty. And because in TWP, Kit comes back, the lost returns. And he has blue eyes? Coincidence, I think not.
Now Dru is a bit complicated, because her eyes are blue-green, so she can mend broken hearts, and she is someone who is lost herself. But it makes sense if we think about her and Ash together. Ash has green eyes; Green will mend our broken hearts, and as we all know, Dru suffers from trauma that she talks about with no one. She's going to basically be the one hot badass goth girl with closeted PTSD trope girl, and Ash is going to put her back together. It can also be seen as a nod to Dru ending up with Ash, and her eyes, being a mix of blue and green, could represent an initial confusion over her affections, what with the JaimexDruxAsh love triangle we all know is coming.
Is this anything?

Can i make another request? About headcanons of kaigaku, genya and yorichi with a so that has the personality and background of yui komori from diabolik lovers,in case you don't know about the franchise let me explain it to you
Yui is a girl with a very happy and optimistic personality, she is shy, sensitive, kind, usually dense, noble and easy to put into submission. She tries to understand everything that happens around her and adapt to it, but she does not succeed easily since she is often unconscious of various things but she is very sincere and apparently very compassionate towards others.
She has especial blood that is very adictive and give more strenght to the ones who drink from her,i imagine that reader has been through a kidnapping situation(like yui) from demons because of her especial blood and role as "sacrificial bride" to some demons, i think reader would have many bite scars of those years of abuse and mistreatment from the demons before being rescued for her father(a demon slayer).
I hope this is not so much for you and youre Free to decline this, sorry for making many requests!
Tumblr media
THANK YOU FOR THESE WONDERFUL PROMPTS @ultravioletqueen 💓
Here is your most awaited HC! So sorry that these took so long, I know you have been so excited for this. I'll close your other request (the screenshot) as I will just merge em here.
But yep, here it is!
For this, I will lean more on your second request which is about the "sacrificial bride" for the demons. Also, I won't be focusing on the sacrifice part, I'll be focusing on the moments that happened after X Character rescued her.
Also, a bit of disclaimer, this is the first time that I will write for Mui and Yori sooooo, please understand if they'll be a bit OC XD Also, I will age up Genya and Mui here to at least 18.
Little backstory: Y/N has a Marechi blood, and because of it, the townspeople started believing that sacrificing her would be the end of the demons' plague in their town. But then, X Character comes just in time before the demons could devour Y/N. She's full of blood and wounds. X Character manages to kill the demons. And with that, he took Y/N and his father away from that town, telling the people that what they did was wrong.
Years later while living together, both fall for each other but Y/N still suffers from the trauma. She lost her father and that added to the reason why she also lost her laughter and her jolly attitude. But with X Character, she manages to bring it all back again.
(So this is an AU where Genya and Muichiro are older but the war with Muzan still hasn't happened)

❥ You've been living with Yoriichi for years, and both of you have grown close. In fact, this relationship you have with him is too close to be called friends.
❥ Yoriichi notices every single detail about you. So you can't hide anything from him, as even the littlest of your motions, he sees it all.
❥ The swordsman isn't the funny type, but whenever you're sad, he makes sure to go comfort you. Eventually, you'll end up opening up about what bothers you. You've told him almost a thousand times how you miss your father and how angry you are with yourself for letting the townspeople in your old town almost kill you just because of your Marechi blood.
❥ Yoriichi won't ever be tired of listening to your litanies of pain, anger, and fear. At the end of it, the man will pull you into his arms and caress the scars on your body, trying his best to calm you down.
❥ There are times when he needs to leave you for his Demon Slayer priorities, but of course, knowing how strong he is and his history, you trust that he'll come back for you.
❥ Whenever he comes back, all he does is kiss you passionately. Surprisingly, Yoriichi is sweet. The man will take you on midnight strides, holding hands while bathing under the moon's rays. "I love you so much. You're my sun, Y/N."
❥ Sometimes, the man would even bathe you, showing you how special you are to him. You will feel bad because of your scars, but Yoriichi will make sure to erase those insecurities as he whispers how beautiful you still are while kissing all those scars on your body.
❥ Whenever you wake up from nightmares of your past, Yoriichi will make sure to comfort you. He will run his hands on your hair, which you liked the most. His calloused fingers against your skin feel so good, as this makes you feel secure.
❥ Yoriichi makes sure that you'll know how much he loves and cares for you. With his gentle words, physical connections, and emotional support You've lost your smile, but now it's back. Yoriichi is like the sun. No, he is your sun, and he guides you out of your dark past, making sure that no hint of darkness will hurt you again.

❥ You lived under Gyomei's care after Genya saved you from being the sacrificial bride to a demon who had been plaguing your hometown. With those years together, you decided to be a Demon Slayer, partnering with your saviour. And yes, both of you developed strong feelings for each other.
❥ You may be tough from the outside, but in reality, you are shy and have lots of insecurities and fear because of your dark past. Thankfully, you share that same feeling with Genya. Despite being so stubborn, the guy always makes sure that he is there for you.
❥ Genya takes care of you, and sometimes you think it is because you remind him of his dead siblings and his big brother, who shares the same blood type as yours. But no, he cares about you because you are you and he loves you. But sometimes, it'll be hard for him to admit it, as he always tries to hide his feelings. Of course, the times he is sweet aren't the determiner of his love. Genya just has a different way of showing it.
❥ He always listens to you, but of course, he refuses to share about himself. It's just that he wants to comfort you with his surprise embraces. Whenever you cry on his shoulders, he will rub your back in circles. You have a scar there, so you'll feel tingling sensations. But then, Genya will tell you that he'll never let anything bad happen to you now.
❥ His Demon Slayer priorities aren't an obstacle, as both of you work for the Corps. It's just that Genya is too stubborn; he loves tagging along with you on your missions. As much as he wants you to tag with him on his, he prefers you staying with his master, Gyomei, to train more. He's very protective, but not to the point that he oversteps you.
❥ Whenever he comes back from his missions, Genya's tsundere part is gone. The individual will immediately entice you to a more private area so he can gently caress your lips. Genya loves to caress the scar on your back, saying that it doesn't look bad. Actually, he adores you for who you are so much.
❥ The sweetest thing you can get from your lover is whenever he sleeps beside you and pulls you to cuddle with him. Sometimes, the painful memories will come, but Genya will tell you that those memories are just a small part of what's ahead of you. And you are more than the things that hurt you. Yes, he cusses a lot. "Fuck those villagers! They're bird brains for thinking sacrificing you will stop that fucking demon!" But eventually, he will stop doing that and will just tell you that he'll massage your back, and sometimes things will escalate from that massage.
❥ You don't know if Genya ever sleeps. He's the one who wakes you up whenever you have nightmares about your past. He will make sure to tell you that your captors will never come back for you. He won't let them. You trust Genya with all your heart, so his words never fail to soothe you.
❥ Despite both of your dark pasts, Genya is the light that keeps you on track. He had brought back the part that you had lost a long time ago, and you are happy because of that. You're one of his priorities. Even if he'll never share his feelings that easily, he will make sure to act on his best around you.

❥ With Muichiro's state, it's quite hard sometimes. But life is definitely better with him than with the townspeople who tried to kill you. Muichiro saved you, but sometimes you feel like you were just a bother. He didn't agree with you coming with him at first; he just kind of saved you because it's his job. But then things changed when you decided to stick with him, whether he liked it or not. You've lived with Muichiro for years now, and you've grown quite comfortable with him.
❥ Conversations? I doubt it. "You want to come with me, right? Bear with it." He'll tell you whenever you ask him why he won't talk to you. But it all changed when he came back from his mission in Swordsmith Village. He was just 14 back then, and that was the first time that you saw his eyes shine bright.
❥ Yes, that change was the reason why you're wrapped with him now on the bed. He is now 19. Five years later, that change happened, but it felt like yesterday. From the Muichiro who ignored your cries and never comforted you for all the pain you've felt since he rescued you. The guy changed into the sweetest being.
❥ He had seen all your scars, and the new scintillate in his eyes shows that they never bothered him. "Just imagine them as maps on your body. Without these, I wouldn't have found you." He'll tell you the first time you told him how insecure you were with those trails of the past that are painted on your body. What he meant was that without you in that moment, he wouldn't have met you. So those scars are nothing to him. You're still the most beautiful woman for him.
❥ Muichiro is serious about his job as a Hashira. But that didn't stop him from showering you with his newfound passion. He's surprisingly sweet. He'll bring home flowers or food from his missions. One time, he was even on a crutch when he went home, but your lover made sure to still bring you the most beautiful kimono that you have ever seen.
❥ Dates are never a problem. Muichiro loves taking strides, especially when it is with you. You'll always find yourself holding hands with him while walking around the estate where you both live. And yes, on those walks, expect that he'll kiss you.
❥ Muichiro learned how to comfort you. When you think of your father, who perished as a result of the demon that was wreaking havoc in your community, he would tightly embrace you and reassure you that it wasn't your fault. Muichiro doesn't like it when you think badly of yourself. So he will do anything to stop you from doing so.
❥ Muichiro will shush you whenever you're crying from your nightmares. He'll assure you that he's there with you. Caressing your face and looking into your eyes, the man will soothe your nerves.
❥ Muichiro is your newfound reason to continue living. Without him, you would have been gone. Your lover taught you that having Marechi blood isn't a curse. It's just that the people around you before were ignorant. He'll always tell you how special you are. And yes, he never fails to make you feel that way.

❥ Kaigaku was your childhood friend until he disappeared. But then he came back into your life when he saved you from the demon who would kill you after the townspeople sacrificed you because of your Marechi blood.
❥ Kaigaku sees the littlest change in you. Yes, he fell in love with you after seeing you again after all those years. Despite the flaws that the demon had given you, Kaigaku still made sure that you'd never feel any different.
❥ Kaigaku is hotheaded. He almost punched the mayor of the town after knowing their idiotic reason for sacrificing you. Now that you had lived with him for so long, he had gotten a bit better at managing his anger issues. And yes, you've gotten your smile back again.
❥ Kaigaku definitely loves baby-ing you. Holding hands, kissing your scars—name it. He'll surely do it for you.
❥ Whenever he needs to leave for his Demon Slayer responsibilities, he makes sure that you are alright. He'll assure you that your captors before aren't coming back because... "If they will, I'll kill them."
❥ After those missions, Kaigaku will eventually shower you with his love. Your nights and days will be filled with happiness once again. He makes you feel secure, and that's what you love about him.
❥ He's your childhood friend, so there are times that you'll both remember things. Like the way you played with him on the meadows and how he is nicer with you than other kids. But yeah, he disappeared. Whenever that sad thought comes, Kaigaku will assure you that he won't leave you now.
❥ Nightmares are a common thing after a traumatic past. With those, Kaigaku will make sure to help you go back to sleep once again after he comforted you. He knows you miss your dad, but he'll say that you're in good hands now and your father is proud of you.
❥ Kaigaku isn't an open book, but he's ready to write new chapters of his life with you. He isn't perfect, but with his love, your smile and strength are back. You just love the man so much, as much as he loves you back.

Hi can request a not-yandere Yoriichi X Dying! Reader? Reader got a terrible illness that basically has no cure and they lay in bed losing all motivation to do anything while the illness slowly takes away their life. When Yorichi came to visit them again, they were gone and there was only an empty bed. (means they are already gone/dead.)
(A bit about Yoriichi and reader's past, reader is one of Yoriichi and Michikatsu/kokushibo's childhood friend and was friend with them until reader dies, reader was always there for Yoriichi whenever he is in a rough time/shape and always comforts him like when his mom died, Uta and his unborn child died, Michikatsu gone and more. Yoriichi fell in love with reader a few months after Uta died but never confessed. Reader got their ill a few months after Michikatsu became a demon.)
Aaah! That’s sooooo sad! Why Yoriichi, he doesn’t deserve more pain! But okay, okay. I’ll write this as I cry
Tsugikuni Yoriichi- Terminal Heartbreak
Tumblr media
The only thing Yoriichi could lay his eyes on was a empty, hollow futon with the blankets flipped back. The house the futon belonged in was just as dull and lifeless. It broke his soul as he slowly approached the futon, kneeling down and sitting on his knees before it. He just stared down at the creased cooling fabric as his eyes swelled in tears, unable to keep himself composed any longer
First his beloved mother disappeared from his life, his incredible wife and unborn child was taken away, his brother abanonded his humanity to turn to the darkness and now, you can’t even be here for him to say goodbye to… why was this world so cruel to him? You were with him from the very beginning, even as childhood
You weren’t necessarily either of the Tsugikuni Twins’ assigned bride. No, your parents are extremely wealthy and have been business partners with the Tsugikuni family before you were even born. Throughout most of your childhood, you were pretty healthy and kicking but then. Tragically, you contracted a strange disease your hysterical parents couldn’t find the cure for and you were truly dissipating each day. It got so bad that it drifted your past closeness with the Tsugikuni Twins
Michikatsu was furious, you couldn’t play with him and Yoriichi like you use to. You were basically useless in this state and it drove him away whilst Yoriichi stayed. He never left, he never walked away. He sat besides you and did everything he possibly could for you, as he grew up, he was determined to try find… something to help you. Every disease has a cure, they’re must be a cure! Yoriichi always told himself before he tucked you into bed and left the house to continue his fruitless search
In exchange, you adored Yoriichi. He wasn’t that rotten selfish anomaly Michikatsu made him out to be, he was a pure loving man with a golden heart and your view never changed, despite how bad your condition grew. Even though you could barely walk, you always got up to be besides Yoriichi, you basically crawled your way to him when he founded the Demon Slayer Corps and you were there to defend him when he ran into Kibutsuji Muzan but failed to dispose of him
Yoriichi, despite being married to the lovely woman Uta, felt himself falling deep in love with you. It was wrong, he knew it. Especially since he lost Uta and his unborn child only a few months ago, but he can’t help himself. You were one of the first people who ever truly loved Yoriichi, and the fact that you’re gone now hurts his soul tremendously. He can’t do anything to save you, he always did everything right… on his first try!
Yoriichi always suffered and suffered and suffered, and for what did he suffer for? Everything he loved in his life is taken away from him and it’s growing unbearable, is he really suppose to be with anybody? Illness takes away all the people he devotes his life too. It seems that he is a plague among people and anybody who associates with him will end up dead or immoral
Yoriichi stared at the empty futon silently, his calloused fists curled up on his own thighs as his kind screamed at the outrage. Why couldn’t he save you? Your sickness ruined your life and it took away your will to continue forward with genuinely living, to do anything as you laid down and stared blankly. Yoriichi could tell how much you struggled and his heart broke for you over and over
If he could, he’d trade places with you. He’d happily die for you so you could walk and run outside freely with no problems. He’d be livid to give you the freedom of perfect health again… but he just can’t. Yoriichi gave up on medley hopping you’d return back to your home, anytime you came out, he was by your side and helping you. He left for a few hours and your gone, nobody has helped you. He doesn’t know where you could have gone
Yoriichi does want to look for you, you could still be alive somewhere but then again. You could have taken the easy way out when his back was turned, to get away from all the pain your illness tortures you will. He wouldn’t be able to stop it if he wasn’t around and that could be the case as he gently grabs the futon blanket, lifting it to his chest whilst tears poured down his defined cheeks
He couldn’t keep himself together any longer as he cried, his head dropped down to brush over the blanket as his heart shattered before him. Yoriichi fell into a deep slumber by the futon, he cried himself to exhaustion as his emotions were truly haywire now. It was too early. You left him too early… he never even got the chance to tell you…
That he loves you

CW/TW: kidnapping, possessive behavior, horror, fear.
You were in the old library that resided out by the hill near the small town you lived in. You had heard there of the folklore surrounding this library since you were young. Some told you it was haunted by lost souls that died in the woods before the town was built, whilst others said the library itself came alive at midnight & consumed all who entered. Whatever the case, the folklore never seemed to paint it a friendly light; which is why you’re here now. You wanted to prove these foolish tales wrong! & also the books & atmosphere in this library are simply divine.
You walked between long, full shelves; completely unaware of the nonexistent eyes burning into your soul.
You gaze at the spines, giving some a soft stroke to feel their golden letters. All the books here looked like they came straight out of a fairytale! Although some had odd titles such as:
“The cookbook for demons.”
“The bride’s spider.”
“How to kill someone beloved.”
“101 ways to eat teeth of all kinds!”
All of which had soft leather covers & gold engravings, which only made their content more bizarre.
As you were reading a book titled “the love story of butterflies” the lights flickered & you heard the sound of a book falling on the cold, hard light-auburn floor.
You slowly turned to the noise, the fear of seeing someone or something else there making your blood run cold.
But there nothing there.
Just a book the laid at the center between two book shelves. As you took a closer look the pages began flipping faster & faster until they landed on a page.
“‘Hello! What’s your name?” I ask to the lovely patron, or rather someone I hope will become a frequent visitor.”
You stared in awe at the page, a chill crawling its way up your spine. The page stayed like that before it flipped to the next one,
“‘Can you understand me?” I ask, hoping the other person can understand me & isn’t unable to read. There are unfortunately quite a few people who can’t read in the nearby town, especially after they stopped allowing me to teach people…oh, so much education; wasted. “Oh!” I acknowledge, remembering that if they can read, they can read my boring melodrama. “I’m sorry! I haven’t been to tαʅƙ ƚσ αɳყσຖē iຖ ฯēคrŞ.’” The text said, the writing near the last section becoming…different than the rest of it. But it was clear the book was talking to you. You felt a little worried, but that drained away soon enough.
“My name is…” you trailed off, only able to stare at the page. It flipped once more after about a minute,
“‘That’s okay, my friend” I say, “I will find out soon enough~”. I smile, but my newfound can’t see it, not with what happened. “Oh dear! Please, ignore that, the story sometimes just writes itself!” I tell them, gazing at them through the shelves, though they can’t see me due to my lack of physical form; outside of this book, of course!”
Although you still felt off you still talked to the book, almost all of the fear in your body had slipped away & you began learning about the strange spirit…shadow…demon…whatever.
You learned that it was a man! A man that was dedicated to learning as much as they could so that they could share that with everyone he could. He became a professor & a librarian; pleased to educate anyone who wanted to learn & when they weren’t teaching, they were learning. From what they told you, they seemed to almost have their head in a book when they were…well, they aren’t sure if they should say “alive” or “physical form” but, regardless of if they were a ghost or a being unknown to you, you felt a bit of that fear spike back up but quickly die back down.
You soon left, planning to come back despite the multiple chills you felt at the library. They were genuinely nice, albeit talkative.
He learned your name & you learned his; Vivílo.
You kept thinking about Vivílo & their magical library. Books full of spells, descriptions of other dimensions, & even some normal stuff like cookbooks & children’s fairytales.
You soon fell asleep in your warm bed, dreaming of those stories you & Vivílo read together.
——————————————————————
You had been visiting Vivílo every dusk. Reading stories, listening to him table about certain discoveries he made that he used to teach the town, but you did notice how the next would change in the books he presented himself in every time he mentioned being alone or being without a bipedal form. Or any form outside of a book, for that matter.
Unfortunately, you & Vivílo’s friendship couldn’t last. You had gotten a job elsewhere. Normally, you wouldn’t even bother, but this particular job paid quite a bit. You didn’t want to pass up this opportunity.
“‘Hey! Are you okay? You aren’t paying attention to anything my vessel is writing! I can’t speak anymore, you know?” I say to them, becoming a mix of annoyed & worried. They haven’t been reading my texts for the past 5 minutes!” You read, feeling embarrassed that you zoned out on this invisible person for 5 whole minutes. You didn’t mean to! It’s just…it breaks your heart that this is your last night together. Well, maybe. Who knows? Maybe you will find time to visit.
You told Vivílo.
“…” the page said, remaining only those three dots for what felt like forever. The ink faded away; retreating into itself & the page was left blank. You waited, but to no avail. You let out a sigh of disappointment.
You closed the book Vivílo was controlling, set it down, & headed to the door while waving goodbye.
But as soon as you reached to open the library door, they closed shut on you with so much force that you stumbled back. Confused, you tried opening the doors again, “it might just be a strong gust of wind! These door are very heavy.” You thought. But unfortunately, no matter how much you tried to push them open, they stayed closed.
You began violently shaking the doors, banging on them, but they didn’t budge.
Then, you heard the oh-so-familiar sound of a leather book falling to the floor.
You slowly turned, seeing the book about 5 meters away from you. You freeze.
Did Vivílo…?
The book open sharply, its leather cover smacking to the floor. It stayed blank for a few seconds before letters began to appear as you walked closer. It felt like a bad idea—but what was the worst that could happen? Vivílo had no form! They’re invisible!
Of course, you were wrong. Because how could things possibly be that simple for you? How could you be that lucky?
“‘I’m sorry, my dearest friend”, I say to them, “I’m afraid I have been alone far too long to let you leave forever. Do you have any idea how long I have been here? Alone? Well, I can’t tell you, because I lost count after the first hundred years.”’ The text read. He sound pissed. “‘Can you believe that?” I ask, “can you believe that after spending 378 years of my life to help these people & they repay that by leaving me to not only rot away in my library but they made folktales to deter others from coming here as well?! I-…” I pause, letting out a sigh. “That doesn’t matter. Because now I have you. &, unfortunately, you aren’t going to change that. So sorry, love.”’ The book said as thorny vines crept around the doors & locked them into place. You began shaking, completely confused. Vivílo was never able to do this before!
“‘Oh? Impressed? Well, I suppose I never told you I can control this entire library & then some~” I say” as the text appeared the candles began flickering before burning just as bright as before.
“‘Sorry, love. But I think another hundred years alone mɨɢɦȶ ɖʀɨงē ๓ē t໐ ๓คᦔꪀꫀᦓᦓ”’

Hello!
We’re the dynamic duo behind “𝕐our 𝕃ocal 𝕊imp 𝕎riters,” just a couple of friends who love to get lost in the world of stories and games. We’re here to share our passion for writing and all the geeky stuff we can’t get enough of.
♡ About Us ♡
I’m 𝒞𝓁𝑜𝓊𝒹 and I’m all about gaming and art. You’ll often find me with a controller in one hand and a comic book in the other. My better half, the yin to my yang. She’s the partner in crime, the sweet melody to my wild riffs, and the one who brings a touch of grace to our shared tales of adventure and heart, 𝒞𝒽𝒾𝑒𝓃𝓃𝑒! She is the other half of this storytelling team. We both love creating stories that’ll make you feel like you’re right there with the characters.
♡ Our Writing ♡
We write what we love, and we love what we write. Our stories are inspired by our current fascinations—be it a game, a movie, or a manga. If it’s interesting and fascinating to us, it’s fair game for our writing.
Most of our stories are “x female reader” because that’s where we feel most at home. Occasionally, we’ll write “x gender-neutral reader” pieces for a bit of variety. However, we generally steer clear of “x male reader” or “OC x canon” stories. We want to create a space where female readers can see themselves in the worlds we love so much.
❤︎ 𝒞𝓁𝑜𝓊𝒹 '𝓈 Interests:
Gaming: I’m a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts, Batman Arkham games, Mortal Combat, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Doom 3, Phasmophobia, Five Nights At Freddy’s, Twisted Wonderland, Call of Duty, Halo 3 and 4, Sonic and Transformers. If it’s a game or relating to horror, chances are I love it.
Comics: Batman is my passion. I collect anything related to the Dark Knight, and my collection is my pride and joy.
Anime/Manga: I'm into One Piece, Princess TuTu, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Jujutsu Kaisen, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Kingdom Hearts, Sgt. Frog, Free!, HellSing, and a bunch more. I have also seen MHA, Fairy Tail, Dragon Ball, Soul Eater, Naruto, Castlevania, Diabolik Lovers and more.
Disney & Tim Burton: I’m a Disney kid at heart. My top 5 Disney movies are Treasure Planet, Cinderella 3, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and The Princess and the Frog. And I’m all about Halloween and everything Tim Burton.
Music: I love RnB and Y2K music so much! However, you can usually find me listening to cutesy, cheesy love songs.
❤︎ 𝒞𝒽𝒾𝑒𝓃𝓃𝑒’𝓈 Interests:
Gaming: I’m definitely not the biggest gamer around, but I do love to play Roblox, Fortnite, and Minecraft! Sometimes I’ll also dabble in some fall guys, FNAF or Poppy’s Playtime. On Roblox, I love to play pretty much anything but pvp games due to the fact that I’m not the best at them. Horror games are probably my favorite, even though I’m a chicken!
Anime/Manga: My favorites are definitely Fairy Tail, Jojo’s bizarre adventure, Naruto, and Demon slayer. I’ve also watched MHA, Danganronpa, Yona of the Dawn, Food wars, High Rise Invasion, Angels of death, and more!
Disney and Tim Burton: I’m definitely a Disney girl! I love all Disney Princess movies, both animated and live action. My top three not in any particular order would have to be Tangled, The Little Mermaid, and Princess and the Frog. For Tim Burton, my favorites are the classics, The nightmare before Christmas and Corpse bride.
Books: I’m also a huge book girly! My favorite genre has to be fantasy/sci-fi. My favorite book series is The Lunar Chronicles, I definitely recommend it!
♡ Join the Fun ♡
This is an invitation to you, dear reader, to become a part of our narrative. Engage with us, inspire us, and let us inspire you.
So, come on in, get comfy, and let's share the joy of stories. The next chapter is always the best one, and it starts right here, with you and us. Requests are always welcome in the ask box! and even inquiries, should you have any!
With all the warmth in our hearts,
𝒞𝓁𝑜𝓊𝒹 & 𝒞𝒽𝒾𝑒𝓃𝓃𝑒

I want to get into Talia’s stories but the reading list for her is a bit much for me at the moment. What stories would give me the best gist of her character in not too many issues?
start with the Batman: Birth of the Demon trade paperback (there's 3 one-shots in that, but reading them in one go may make it feel like less lol). or you can read them one by one: Son of the Demon, Birth of the Demon, and Bride of the Demon.
Batman Chronicles #8, just the very first story (The Prison) has Talia so you don't even need to read the whole issue.
Batman: Bane of the Demon, 4 issues in total. Very overlooked but crucial to Talia, imo.
DC #750. definitely need to read this one!
President Luthor Secret Files and Origins. there's more to it, but my favourite thing about this one is seeing Talia be so...casual and normal and messy, instead of seeming untouchable in her elegance, as she often is.
Action Comics #772-773, for her and Superman.
I recommend Red Hood: Lost Days because the first issue? beautiful. #2-5 were fine, at least when she was interacting with Jason directly, #6 should be burned with fire.
and then finish with Batman and Robin #0, and you'll have a solid basis for Talia.

(Just picture what your quadruplets look like as in the pic below. I don't know the artist or anything else I found image on Pinterest.
DISCLAIMER: THIS WORK IS IN ABSOLUTELY NO WAY CANNON TO DEMON BRIDE AND IS NOT AN ENDING. IT IS A WHAT IF IDEA THAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE FUN TO WRITE. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND GOING FORWARD.
Warnings: Karaku IS his own warning. Possibly some innuendos.

Chaos. Noise. Loudness. About as much destruction as you could imagine with four noise makers running around everywhere.
And no. It wasn't them this time.
"Grandpa, tell us again how Papa Sekido got his head stuck in the vase!"
"That story again? You make him retell it ALL THE TIME!!"
You could only sit there and watch amused at the unknown chaos unfolding. But then again that was the regular thing for this family of yours. You barely paid attention to the red eyed boy shooting a scowl to his nearly identical brother. Really the only difference was their attitudes and their eye color matching their colored kimonos. Your eyes only briefly looked up from the kimono you were attempting to sew back together, the tears accidentally left by Urogi's talons from rough housing with the boys again.
"Kido." Said red eyed boy looked at you. "If Kara wants to hear the story again then let him tell it. You don't have to listen if you don't want to."
Said eight year old pouted as his green eyed brother smirked in triumph. "That's not fair! How come Kara always gets to pick what we have to hear!? I want a turn to pick a story!"
You sighed again feeling a familiar fight bubble up but luckily the older man stopped any fight. "S-Stop fighting both of you. I won't t-tell if that's how you're g-g-gonna be about it."
That got both children to quickly shut up despite Kido pouting and crossing his arms. Well at least one problem was solved.
"He has a dam point! Why do you always have to hear about my embarrassment!?" Aaand here we go again as the older version of Kido glared angrily. "Why don't you ask him to explain how Karaku kept breaking things with his dam wind?! Or when Urogi kept crashing into a tree!? Something other than me!"
"Aw. C'mon, Sekido. It's just funnier when you're embarrassed.~"
"NO ONE ASKED YOU, KARAKU!!"
You again groaned and turned to two of the grown children. Sekido was glaring at Karaku from his place sitting as Karaku only smirked in a teasing manner no doubt amused by his daily task of filing up Sekido again. Gee. And you wondered where your kids got their dynamics from?
"Will you four keep it down? Rogi's,still napping and you four are gonna wake him up again."
You were getting really tired of their bickering now. It was getting really annoying and the stirring body slumped against your side gave you more of a reason. A third child identical to the first two slept soundly against your back exhausted from the amount of playtime initiated by Urogi earlier that day. Only difference between him and the first two was the yellow eyes hidden by the closed eyelids. It was a miracle your son hadn't woken up by the yelling from earlier. Either Rogi was a deep sleeper or he was so used by now to his fathers' and brothers' bickering that he could just sleep through it at this point. But you'd rather not have anymore yelling because of the upcoming headache that was threatening to make you rain your wrath upon the bickering adults.
"You're not having to live through the embarrassment daily-"
"You're giving me a headache, Sekido. So help me I'll wring you out like laundry and hang you up on the coat wrack." The red eyed man quickly shut up as you glared at him.
"A-All of you stop fighting. Y-Y-You're all scaring me with your fighting." Said older demon raised a shaking hand up to rub his head.
"Sorry, Mr. Hantengu."
Said protest seemed to end any and all arguments between Sekido, Karaku, and their little mini mes as Rogi just continued to snore away noisily at your side blissfully unaware of the daily arguments between your kids and their fathers. Sigh. You definitely had your hands full didn't you? Speaking of which..You were wondering where your other two children and their fathers were? Urogi and Aizetsu had taken Zetsu out for some quiet time away from his other rowdy brothers and they had been gone for a few decent hours. Rui was still out too so you were starting to wonder where he was too. As if the universe answered your questioning thoughts, the sliding door opened making all six of your heads turn to the door except for Rogi who still slept away.
"Heeeyy! Guess Who's Back! Did you miss us?," sang a familiar voice as none other than a harpy walked through the door. He waved one taloned hand at you while he held your fourth and final child in his arms clinging to him.
Aizetsu walked in right behind Urogi and silently closed the door behind him. Your brow rose not seeing Rui among them. Where was your oldest? "Where's Rui?"
"He and Zoha decided to train some more. They'll be back later," Urogi waved you off with a shrug before spotting the sleeping yellow kimono wearing child leaning against you. "There's my boy!"
Aizetsu blinked as Zetsu was quickly handed over to him and Urogi excited dove for Rogi- Only to land flat on his face when you quickly scooped up the sleeping boy away from him. Immediately two children and Karaku started cackling at the sight of Urogi dazedly looking up. Rogi being suddenly jostled tiredly blinked his yellow eyes open with a yawn.
"Urogi, be careful!", you scolded the harpy that looked up at you with a kicked puppy look. "You need to be careful with your talons! You could accidentally hurt him!" You cradled the boy in your arms. Seeing your face, Rogi opted to slot himself against your shoulder shuffling against you before tiredly closing his eyes again. You sighed. "You keep forgetting that."
"I only wanted to hold him," Urogi whined sitting up and pouting. "I would've been careful! I always am!" Your rose your brow at him. "...Ok. I'm careful MOST of the time!"
"Debatable."
"Mama!" A blue eyed boy quickly wriggled around until Aizetsu placed him down. Zetsu immediately ran over and threw his arms around your right side which you welcomed with a smile. "Did you miss me?"
"Yes I did." You smiled wider. "I'm also almost done patching up your kimono. You should have it back soon."
Blue eyes lit up at you in excited. "Really?!"
"Hey, Zetsu! Come sit!" Zetsu turned to where his brother beckoned him to join them. "Grandpa's gonna tell us a story!"
"Is it the one where Papa Sekido gets his head stuck in a vase again?"
"WHY CAN'T ANYONE JUST LET THE PAST LIE!? IT WAS ONE TIME!! JUST. ONE. TIME!!"
You only sighed as you felt another fight coming on.

Books that I’ve read recently and would recommend. 🖤 Part 2
A Dowry of Blood by S. T. Gibson. A reimagining of Dracula’s brides, written in letters to Dracula from his first wife, Constanta. I love anything vampire-related and can’t even describe how much I loved this book.
A God in the Shed by J. -F. Dubeau. A fantastic horror novel set in a messed up little town. A murder investigation, a serial killer, a god trapped in a shed (literally), the occult, ancient evils, blood and gore, and lots of twists and turns.
The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang. A historical/grimdark fantasy novel heavily inspired by the Second Sino-Japanese war. Very violent and graphic, but an amazing read.
My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix. A fun 80s demon possession story set during the satanic panic. A teen girl drops acid, gets lost in the woods, and accidentally gets possessed by a demon — and it’s up to her friend to save her. Gorey and campy.
Maggie’s Grave by David Sodergren. A pregnant woman, falsely accused of being a witch and brutally murdered, takes revenge on a Scottish town centuries later. Fun, fast-paced folk horror meets splatterpunk with an endless amount of gore.
The Island by Adrian McKinty. A tense, fast-paced thriller set in in an island off of the coast of Australia. This book genuinely stressed me out and made me want to bite my nails, but I couldn’t put it down. A bit of Wolf Creek vibes.
Delicious Monsters by Liselle Sambury. A ghost story and psychological horror with dual timelines. Family drama, a haunted house, toxic parents, etc.
Never Lie by Freida McFadden. A psychological thriller with a great twist. When their realtor doesn’t show up, newlyweds take shelter from a blizzard in a manor that belongs to a missing psychiatrist.
Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim. This book and the world within it makes my heart flutter. A dreamy, whimsical fairy tale blended with East Asian folklore.
The Overnight Guest by Heather Gudenkauf. An atmospheric mystery/thriller. A writer travels to an isolated farmhouse where two unsolved murders and the disappearance of a girl took place decades earlier, and plans to finish her book while snowed in. Things go down hill after she finds a young child outside and decides to bring him in from the cold.
Clytemnestra by Costanza Casati. A retelling of Greek mythology, and such a beautiful and heartbreaking book.
A Day of Fallen Night by Samantha Shannon. A a high fantasy novel and standalone prequel to The Priory of the Orange Tree. Amazing world building, amazing writing, amazing characters, and dragons.
Ring by Koji Suzuki. I’ve always loved the films, both Ringu and The Ring, but I’ve never read the book until now and I highly recommend it if you haven’t either.

I've been thinking about Blue Eye Samurai, Mizu...and the Phoenix Crest of the Bride & the Ronin story.
Cause the first thing I associate with phoenixes is resurrection (though I'm not sure the actual japanese phoenix works like that - but it's an American production after all). Like in the Tale, the Bride comes back after being killed by the Ronin (with the phoenix at her side). And in Blue Eye Samurai, many time does Mizu almost meet death. She's injured, she's stabbed, and she makes it out alive. But in relation to the story of how the Bride died & became and Onryō...it looks like maybe Mizu has symbolically died several times, and come back several times and each time has an effect on her.
The first time she's stabbed, the result is rather positive. She's thrown off the "demon path" of hatred, finds her mother back, rediscovers her identity as a woman, and falls in love. Like the Ronin, hatred has weakened her, and love has given her her strength back. But that first stab is followed by another metaphorical stab ; Mikio/her mother's betrayal (both are probably blended as she suspects them both & loses them both). And also if you want to go that far it happens right after she first has sex with someone, that she's "penetrated" (which would explain her distant & disdainful relation to it later). And that one reverses everything. She's an Onryō again. All she'd claimed back she abandons. She only takes a weapon improvement with her, something to be more efficient to kill (the naginata). She's changed for the worse, like in the story.
Since her next stabbing when she's against the thousand claws army parallels that sad story, it also makes her "come back" even worse. She refuses to be considered a samurai or to keep a code of ethics. She hurts both Ringo & Akemi, betraying their trust in her.
The next time she's almost dead is after raising Fowler's castle & failing to kill him - she gets badly hurt on the way up and then receives a bullet that wounds her and breaks her own sword - but she manages to save Taigen. She's a bit better this time, and it coincides with love/friendship again - that she feels for Ringo, and kinda for Taigen (also romantic undertones there). But Swordfarther still identifies her as lost - the storm in her "rages beyond control". She's still too deep in the demon's path. She has come back still eager to draw blood.
So, he advises her to light a fire. Mizu generally goes to water, and is directly associated, but there she steps out of her element (though it reminds me of the "an ember can light the way" bit in the beginning - she's far from disconnected from that element). And she goes to the element associated to the fiery phoenix. She completes the melting of her sword, she completes a cycle of healing/rebirth. She even symbolically deals with her broken relation to sex, as she uses a technique Madame Kaji showed her in her brothel & her scene is paralleled with Akemi having fullfilling sex with her husband.
She is then truly reborn, and even if she doesn't stray from the demon's path, & the fire grows, leading to the burning of Edo.
And also the aspect of the "revelation of a particular bloodline" given that Mizu's parentage is under suspicion and we might expect an exceptionally noble origin to warrant all this effort (and money) put into killing her and thus making sure her existence isn't known.

You sighed and ran to catch up with him. "Aniue, I'm talking to you! Hey!"
Without looking back, Sesshomaru replied, "Y/n, I am not in the mood to talk. Heed your older brother's will and be silent."
"That's right, y/n-sama!" Jaken piped up, waving his staff of three heads in a scolding manner. "You must obey Sesshomaru-sama and stop your babbling at once!"
You glared at the loudmouthed imp. "Who says you can tell me what to do?"
"Jaken," Sesshomaru said calmly, without emotion in his voice. "If you give another scolding to my sister, I will kill you."
Tumblr media
Jaken cowered and made many quick steps backwards.
You looked at your brother as he continued on ahead.
"Aniue. Will you let this gripe with Inuyasha over the Tetsusaiga go?"
Sesshomaru slowed down a bit in pace. "You do not understand the blow to my pride Chichiue gave me by leaving me nothing but this sword that cannot cut," he said with bitterness in his voice, his eyes refusing to glimpse at you.
You sighed. "Yeah, well he left me the So'unga, which I can't even use."
Sesshomaru's eyebrows furrowed very slightly. "That is your weakness if you cannot use it."
You folded your arms over your chest. "Then why don't you help teach me how to overcome its aura, Anieue? It's too much for you, too."
Sesshomaru was silent for several steps.
"Still, y/n, Chichiue was willing to leave you with something of value."
There was no point continuing to argue with him. You stayed behind him, watching as the fluffy piece of his armour seemed to wave behind him like a tail.
But then, suddenly, he stopped and put his arm out in front of him. "Do you sense it?"
You concentrated more. "It's very weak. Do you think it's Naraku?"
Sesshomaru took off at full speed.
"Aniue!" you call as went after him. You hated how he had the habit of sprinting away without warning.
"Sesshomaru-sama! Y/n-sama! Please don't leave me behind!" Jaken's squeaky voice shot into your ears before you disappeared into the distance.
You and Sesshomaru followed the faint demonic energy until you reached an area where you were surrounded by it. The two of you both elegantly came to a stop, finding yourselves in a damaged village. The demonic energy was lightly pulsing under the ground like the echo of an earthquake.
Somehow, despite being left far enough behind that you would think he would be lost for good, Jaken always catches up to you. After you and Sesshomaru took a moment to survey the area, searching for the core of the demonic energy, you heard Jaken panting, completely out of breath. The small creature then collapsed to the ground behind you.
"This human village is a mess," you said as you looked around. The place was deserted, with no people to be seen and X markings on most of the houses.
Jaken, having taken in large inhales of air, cringed from the stench. "It smells like decaying bodies over here! Fuu! There must have been a human plague here. What do you think, Sesshomaru-sama?"
Sesshomaru didn't answer him. Instead he moved closer to you and put a hand on your shoulder. "Y/n, let's go. We do not want this smell to contaminate us."
You nodded in agreement, and were about to leave with your brother, when a young man's voice called over to you.
"Who goes there!?"
You could see in Sesshomaru's jaw that he was gritting his teeth at the sound of the voice. From what you could sense, it was obviously coming from a human, and an uppity one at that.
You turned in the direction of the voice to see a young man dressed in samurai attire. He had a harsh expression on his face, as if he was pressing his muscles into a scowl to try to make himself look tougher. His slanted eyebrows dug into his brow as his glare pierced heavily towards you. You couldn't help but bring your attention to his right eye. It was closed with a vertical scar going through the middle, as if he had been slashed in the eye. It was rather shocking. He looked like he was only around Inuyasha's age.
Tumblr media
Jaken started to shake his staff at the young samurai. "How dare you talk to my Lord and Lady with that insolent mouth, human! If you value your life you will get on your knees right now and show some respect --!" His squawking speech was silenced with a kick from Sesshomaru's feet as he calmly and deliberately stepped closer to the young man.
The young man seemed to be made uncomfortable by Sesshomaru's presence, but he stood his ground. "Who are you and where do you come from? This is Daigo Land!"
You heard Sesshomaru growl quietly under his breath and wondered if the young samurai would end up soiling himself out of fear.
"Daigo Land?" you ask and step forward, moving between Sesshomaru and the stranger. "Some land you've got here. This village seems to have fallen to its death."
"Y/n. I will speak with this human," Sesshomaru said.
"Let me take care of it, Aniue. You're too annoyed right now."
"Y/n ..."
"Aniue, just let me handle him."
The bickering seemed to relax the young man. The muscles in his face stopped squeezing together so roughly, and he looked at you with a gaze of curiosity.
"Do you know of a demon named Naraku?" Sesshomaru asked in a stern voice.
The young man looked confused. "Naraku?"
"That's right!" piped up Jaken. "Have you no ears!?"
"Silence, Jaken!"
"Y-Yes, Sesshomaru-sama."
You rubbed your forehead. "My brother is really focused on the mission we've got. But it seems you don't know anything."
"Mission?" the young samurai asked.
"Y/n, we will be going," Sesshomaru said.
You looked at the young samurai. He was kind of cute, now that he wasn't trying to look as angry and authoritative as before. "Aniue, I think I'd like to talk to him more. Maybe he knows more than he lets on."
"I --" the young man began.
"Y/n," Sesshomaru said with an underlying harshness in his voice. "We will be going. I desire to investigate the demonic energy in this region. We will not be wasting our time here."
"Demonic energy?" the stranger asked. He stepped closer to you. "What demonic energy?"
"You don't sense it?" you asked.
He shook his head.
"It is because he is a useless human, y/n. We are going." Sesshomaru started to walk away.
"There is ... a place around here that concerns demons," the young man said.
Sesshomaru stopped.
"Can you bring us to it?" you asked.
"I ..." He seemed to not really want to, but felt very pressured by Sesshomaru's threatening eye. He didn't appear to catch on to the fact that you and your brother were demons, but it was clear that you were both very powerful and in the strange company of your imp servant. "Yes. I can. If you will allow me."
"Well then, let's go, since we found ourselves here!" you say before your brother can utter a word. You look to the young man. "We'll be following you then. Or at least I will." You look to Sesshomaru, who gives you a glare.
"Yes," the stranger seemed to be nervous. "Follow me." He cleared his throat. "The place I'll bring you to is a bit of a distance. I have my horse tied at the edge of the village, but there aren't any others around. We'll have to ride to the Castle to secure some for you."
"Castle?" Sesshomaru asked.
The young man nodded. "Yes. I'm Lord Daigo's son, Tahomaru."
Sesshomaru appeared to take him slightly more seriously after hearing his pedigree, although at the end of the day he was still a human.
"My sister and I do not require horses. You will point us in the direction we are to meet you at."
"I'd like to ride a horse," you say. "It's something new."
"Y/n, this is not a time for adventure."
"Why not?"
"This is a serious matter."
You sigh. "I still want to ride a horse. So, Tahomaru can point you and Jaken in the direction to go, and I'll go back to the Castle with him and get a horse."
"You will not be going alone over there."
Tumblr media
"Then come with me, Aniue."
It was all too overwhelming for Tahomaru. He cleared his throat and tried to stand straighter. "Please, if you come to my Castle, I will treat you to some tea."
"We do not eat human food," Sesshomaru said, almost in a snarl.
Tahomaru froze. "Human food?"
"We're demons," you say. "Couldn't you tell?"
Tahomaru just stared, his eye popping open wider.
You sighed. "No, no, we aren't those kind of monster demons that are overly aggressive and kind of stupid. We're more sophisticated demons."
"That's right!" came Jaken's voice. "You should know better just by looking at my Lord and Lady!"
"Jaken." Sesshomaru sounded like he was coming close to losing his patience.
You look back to Tahomaru. "Don't listen to my brother. We can eat human food. He's just being difficult. But we prefer raw meat, if you can arrange that."
Tahomaru stuck his nose into the air a bit. "Well, we do have plenty of high-quality raw fish at the Castle. There's more than enough that can be arranged for your liking."
"Sounds good. I'm actually pretty hungry." You look to Sesshomaru. "I'm going with him, Aniue."
Tahomaru straightened his shoulders and started to lead you to the horse. Jaken started to rant again about how you should not defy your older brother's wishes before he was stepped on by Sesshomaru, who reluctantly followed you. He caught up with you in an instant, hovering over your back as you walked.
"I do not like going with him," he said under his breath in a very low voice.
"He might have more information about that demon energy. It's the best lead we've got," you said to him back.
Sesshomaru sneered but agreed, and all of you began to head to the Castle.

Every story has a sad beginning
“I think I've seen this film before And I didn't like the ending” -Taylor Swift
In the world of symbolisms, the sea represent the beginning of life itself, it represents the darkness paths of the human life, the beautiful formlessness chaos that surrounded all living creatures, a world of unknown.
His arrival became the town’s gossip, a man who just lost his wife on a fire that burned everything he had, a father with two little kids to take care of a man of business. He bought Fawney’s Rigs manor from a local demon exorcist, yet he was never seen before. Some claim he needed a bit of time to arrange a few things before he made his grand introduction, others said he was a demon himself and his kids were two orphans he kidnapped. But in reality, he just love the solace of the unknowingness.
Roderick Burgess was his name, a tall and slender man, one look at him and you would understand that this man never spend a day working under the sun to survive in this world, his dirty blond hair and blue eyes full of secrets was his part of his charisma, he was not handsome yet he attracted the attention of the others with his way with words. He was smarter than he portrayed himself as, a genius in other words. Rich and warmness laced around his voice wherever he spoke. His smile captivating and his movements always with grace.
He introduce himself on one of the town’s festivities, paying for all the towns drinks, a courtesy from his persona, a token of his gratitude as he appreciated these few days without interruption. He introduced his sons, Randall and Alex, both a perfect image of his father.
But his sons were different from him, Alex, the youngest one of the two was a complete reflection of his father, yet his nervousness made him difficult to achieve his same results, while Randall was a complete opposite, always rebelling himself from the mold his father created for the two of them. He was proud of his mistakes, always bragging he was the only one who could made them right. Tall and charismatic as his father, Randall always thanked the lord every single night that he looked more than his mother than his father. He inherited her dark unruly hair and her green eyes. An image of a perfect future husband.
Within the years, Roderick Burgess gain the town’s trust, some described him as a man who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted, his hard work and his insistence of achieved perfection only gained him the reputation of a honorable man. There were rumors in the darkest parts of the town of his insistence of conquering Death, of wanting to keep cheating his way around it and live years beyond what was known at the time.
As the years passed, his popularity grew, the town began worshiping the path he walked on, whatever he said was sacred and anything he despise was burned to the ground. With time he formed a secret club, most believed he was destined to greatness, to domain the art of magic, while those who began questioning his sanity became banished from society.
Your parents were part of his most devoted followers, both grateful of his actions, as it was his hand and his words that helped them to become pregnant with you. The moment you were born he was present, and he was the first one to welcome you at the land of the living, whispering how you would have a beautiful path ahead of you. You were raised believing everything he said, his emotions were yours, his words were law and his actions were meant to become history. You hated him with passion.
Your constant presence on Fawney Rig’s manor became the catalyst of your doom. Randall became infuriated with you, at first it started with the typical children’s fights, a tug of your hair here and there, the stealing of your sweets and in result you wanted to punch his face, your father approved of your dedication and encourage you, asking to come get him when you decided to get your revenge while your mother grounded you because of your violence.
Randall became a constant presence on your life, he force his way into the position of best friend and on the first night of snow, he gave you a scarf he knitted himself without any help, it was a horrible scarf, a mismatched creation of colors and too breakable for usage. But you loved it anyway and used it with much care.
He kissed you under the mistletoe and declare his love for you.
You accepted it and gave yours to him.
It was forbidden but exciting, both of you knew that your parents (especially your dad who claimed he would strangle any guy who would dare to kiss you) would killed both of you. Randall loved the secrecy, the secret meetings on the middle of the night, he would always tell you he didn’t need more, that you were enough and he was hoping he was enough for you.
On your twenty-one birthday he planted a whole garden for you, he went beyond himself and looked for beautiful and exotic plants, claiming that they could be beautiful but nowhere near as you.
That garden became your sanctuary. The moon became your only witness, and he became what you needed to survive.
To the others, this day was no different to the others, but for Randall, the moment the moon step into the sky, this night would mean everything to him, hoping his plan would go swiftly. He began whistling around the empty halls, taking full advantage of his father’s meeting.
His feet carried him towards his father’s office, opening carefully and he went inside. Randall closed the door carefully and observed his surroundings, his father was an organized man and he was grateful for that.
After grabbing what he needed, Randall walked faster towards the kitchens and looked for your basket. His eyes found it.
‘Meet me at our place when the moon is at its highest point?’
Randall placed the little note inside your fruit basket, he tried to memorize your schedule but your mother always changed it each week, he knew she suspected your meetings, and there were a few occasions she almost caught the both of you.
After your first meetings, both of you became noticeable tired, bags under your eyes, words suppressed by a few yawns and your movements weren’t sharp. Perhaps your parents gave you a bit more freedom but Roderick wasn’t your parents, he was more strict and harsh with his sons. Wanting them to learned his footsteps, Alex was in the right path, always seeking the approval of his father but Randall was different.
If you put Randall and Alex against each other, you would notice the differences between the both of them. Alex always followed Roderick’s words, his words were his law and even as Randall understood why his little brother wanted to succeed like his father, he also wanted more for him, Alex was smart on his own way, but his true self was far more empathic than the grand Roderick Burgess. Randall always was thankful of the moments he manage to had with his mother, she was a beautiful lady, inside and outside, and sometimes even wonder why a pathetic man like his father was able to get an intelligent and charismatic lady.
His mother was soft and always accepted their mistakes, Randall didn’t care to make his father proud, he only dreamed to make his mother proud and happy with the decisions he took on his life. His ideologies always lied somewhere else, far beyond the beliefs of his father, he wanted to be free, to travel the world, to discover the secrets out there. He didn’t care about the magic or the society, he didn’t want to be trapped, Randall was a free soul, he deserve to fly far away from this prison.
Sometimes he pity Alex, as he idea was to stay behind. He really pity him.
Tumblr media
You tried your best to be quiet as you opened your window. There was bad ideas and going out of the window to meet your secret boyfriend was one of those. The first leg out was easy, the second one was easier, but the fall and pain that comes with your idiotic decision began questioning your intelligence.
A part of you hated not changing for something more comfortable but you needed to made the impression that you were actually going to bed, and even then you actually had to pretend to sleep as your father stayed with you a few minutes, talking about completely random stuff, you loved your father and appreciate his way of trying to understand parenthood but tonight, you just wanted him to go to bed.
You landed on your back, silently cursing Randall for all he was putting you through, you stood up limping and quickly fix your night dress. The night was cold as the beginning of winter was approaching fast. You began walking towards you meeting place, the first steps were hard as your legs were screaming in pain but you ignored it. Your mind beginning to form a huge speech of how he was at fault with your pain.
You saw him sitting under a tree, his eyes were close but you notice how tense he was, the words on his note were simple and you hoped whatever he wanted to talk about this late at night was something light and not heartbreaking.
“Excuse me good sir,” You deepened your voice, it sounded funny as his face began breaking into a smile. “You seem to be far away from your sleeping quarters.”
His head turned towards your voice, smile full on display. “I am truly sorry officer, I am afraid I’ve been waiting for this fair maiden and I did not notice how quickly time passed.”
“Fair maiden?” You asked, still faking the voice. “Perhaps this fair maiden had some trouble walking fast?”
He hummed in contemplation. “I do not think so, she is quite slow and looks like a org.” His smile widened. “You might have seen her, a tiny little bit, when she gets mad she turns green, drools while she sleeps.”
You frowned, taking off your -his- scarf and began hitting him with it. “You idiot! Here I am, really late at night -thanks to you- and you compare me with an ogre?!”
Randall began laughing loudly, “Wait! Wait!” You paused, your eyes squinted. “You would make a really cute ogre.”
“You ass!” You began hitting him again but he didn’t care, he grabbed both of your arms and put them around his neck. Randall began swaying softly, gently massaging your waist.
“You are late.” He whispered against your temple. “One more second of waiting and I would have left”
You scoffed at his antics, closing your eyes, “Well, do not let me stop you, oh mighty Randall Burgess, I did not know your time was gold.”
He hummed in contemplation then playfully sighed. “So, how do you plan on repay me for my kindness?”
“Repay you for your kindness?” You gasp offended.
“Well, of course,” He put a strand of hair behind your ear. Still whispering “As the greatest and kindest soul here on Fawney’s Rig, I stayed here, waiting for your arrival with eagerness. So,” tilted his head down, lips softly touching yours. “How will you repay me, my darling?”
You closed the distance smiling, finally kissing him. You slowly back away but still having his arms around your form. “Better?” You whispered.
He hummed, his eyes still closed, enjoying the feeling of your warm body against him. “Love the kiss, still no close to repay me for my kindness.”
“Oh you little shi…” His hand quickly covered your mouth, he felt your laugh against it.
“Dear Lord! Who would teach such unhinged words to this young, pure and lovely lady! I must find them and punish them for their sins!”
You playfully pushed him away “You sir, are an idiot. Now,” You began walking towards the fountain. Sitting carelessly on the concrete basin, ignoring the fact that you were getting wet. “Are you going to tell me why did you ask me to come here? Because it’s later than our usual meeting time.”
Randall smiled happily, holding three fingers in front of his chest, “You now the game, my darling. Three guesses, two clues and one price...Please indulge me, I really prepare a lot for this.”
You sighed tiredly, “Fine.”
He kneeled in front of you, clearing his throat. “And now, please present your first guess.”
Your lips pursed in concentration, trying your hardest to not laugh at his antics. “My first guess is that your father decided to finally move back into his real true home…Hell.” You sarcastically smiled.
“Ha, funny and as much as I want that to be true, sadly it’s not.” He grabbed your hand and kissed one finger. “You may now ask for your first clue.”
“Is your father part of this surprise?” You flickered his nose, softly laughing at his frown.
He nodded in response. “Yes and no, ready for your next guess?”
“Hey! That’s not helpful!”
“I don’t make the rules sweetheart.”
“You invented this game, these rules are practically yours but fine, play dirty, I don’t care–,” You paused again, there was only two more guesses before the finishing this game, you needed to be smart about this. “My second guess is that you are cheating and you faked this surprise to just come and see me.”
“Clever but not quite,” He sat at your feet, his arms laid on your knees, his fingers playing with yours. “Second and final clue?”
“Mmhh, did you buy it?”
“Buy it? No, did I acquire it? Yes, that third clue was from the generous of my heart, by the way.”
“Generous, sure.” You kissed his forehead. “I’m ready to make my final guess.”
“Go ahead, gorgeous.”
“Are we finally leaving from this place?” You whispered, hoping his answer was yes.
“Soon, you know I always keep my promises, but no, not yet.” His eyes shined with happiness, “Ready to see your surprise?” You nodded, the hand that was kept behind his back moved between the two of you. It was a small black velvet box, you gasped, your eyes widened in surprise at his actions. “It’s not much, kinda had to stole it from my father’s security safe. It belonged to my mom, was her favorite ring or something, don’t have the full story, my grandparents are really bad at telling it.”
He opened the box, it was a simple ring gold ring with a small purple stone. It was perfect. “It’s an amethyst, my mom always believed that amethysts were supposed to help opening the heart to experience love, corny; I know.” He paused, his hand grabbing yours, searching your eyes for confirmation, you nodded with a soft smile. He smiled back and carefully put the ring on your finger. “I know this is not what you wanted, that you really hoped to just grab our stuff and leave this place, but I am working on it, it has taken some time but I almost finish with some things before that. I just hope you can wait just a bit longer.”
“So your idea of asking me to wait longer is to propose?” You laughed.
“Not really, this is my idea of finally have grown a pair and ask you to be mine, which you just accepted and there’s no going back now!”
“That’s not how proposals work Randall.” You rest your forehead with his. “I could still say no.”
“You could, but between you and I, we both know I am not a good-looking crier.” He kissed your ringed finger. “Give me a few days and we go somewhere far away, change our names with something completely outrageous, get married and had days and days full of love making, yeah?”
“I can’t wait.” You smiled.
Silence surrounded both of you, his fingers still caressing your new ring, you loved these moments between the both of you, imagining a future with Randall, away from your crazy families.
“I have to talk you.” He whispered, it was so quiet you almost missed it. “My dad talked to me yesterday.” You hummed, turning your attention towards him. “It’s about the war.”
“What about it?”
“He wants me to go,” Randall paused, noticing your body becoming tense at the words, “Look, I know, but the sooner I go the sooner I can comeback and take you away from here.”
You stood up, pushing him away. “Are you demented? One does not go to war and come back in one piece.”
“Well I will be the exception!”
“No.” You firmly stated. “No, Randall, just no!”
“My father promise me…”
“Oh yes, of course! If your father promise you something then he will fulfill it! Just like he promise I would stop cleaning the floors! And guess what Randall? I am still cleaning them!”
“You don’t understand.” He grabbed your hand. “He knows there is someone, he knows  about my feelings, he knows I plan to ask someone to marry me, okey maybe I just asked you and he doesn’t know, but still. This is progress, he is willing to let choose my own fate.”
You scoffed, walking away from him. “This is your father, he would never stop choosing your path.”
“Why is it so hard to believe?” He whispered, “I don’t want to fight, not with you, never with you.”
“Then stop, think about this.” You hissed angrily. “This is no child’s game Randall, this is war, people die in war.”
“And I’m not going to die, I’m coming back.” Randall tried to assure you.
“How can I trust your words? War is no forgiving Randall, your father knows what he is doing sending you there.” You chocked around your words. “How can I be sure you will come back?”
“Because I’m coming back for you, only you, no matter how broken my body ends up, I’m coming for you.” He grabbed your hands, tugging you against his body. “Trust me, you think I’m planning to let you go after you said yes to me?”
“I don’t like this.”
“You don’t have to like it, you just have to have faith,” He placed his forehead against you, cleaning away some tears from your eyes. “Have faith in me.”
“I…”
“You will leave this place with a wedding ring on your hand, with the most beautiful vows a man can muttered. Trust that.”
“You are asking too much.”
“I’m asking what I know will happened, you will be the most beautiful bride in the whole world.” You sobbed against his chest. “I can already see it, your hair in a beautiful braid, flowers adorning it, a veil covering your flushing face and the most beautiful wedding dress on your body, so just trust me in this.”
“I want to but…”
“Shhh, just promise me, when the time comes and you hear the words, you will leave this place with a happy smile on your face.”
You shook your head, muttering a soft ‘I swear on it’ against his chest. Randall kissed your forehead, leaving his lips there for a second.
“Let me see that pretty face.” He whispered and you complied, your eyes were puffy from your crying, your nose red and your lips still trembling with emotion. “Would you look at that? Such a pretty little lady there.”
“Shut up, I’m still mad at you.”
He tenderly smiled, “That’s a shame, I wanted one more kiss before we go back.”
“You don’t deserve my kisses.” And he laughed.
He walked you back towards your window, it was difficult as he refuse to let you go. He set the pace, it was slow as he demanded a bit more time with you, and reluctantly let you go, helping you climb up your window.
“Sweet dreams, my lady.” He told you once you settled safely inside.
“I’m still angry at you, you will have to do a lot of nice things for my forgiveness.”
“And I will happily do them without any question.”
“Stupid.” You said smiling and left the window, straight to bed.
You woke up startled at the sound of your door opening brusquely. “You better get yourself ready girl, Sir Roderick has invited the family to breakfast” Your mother harshly told you, throwing a dress at your direction. “I expect you to be ready now!”
You groaned, it was way early and you had a few hours of sleep, reluctantly getting ready, the dress your mother throw at you was way fancier for a simple breakfast but you knew better that contradict her in any form.
You left your hair down as the dress your mother gave you revealed your shoulders and a part of you felt a bit weird with sitting on the same table as Roderick Burgess and him watching you. You step out of your room and walked towards the kitchen, your father was reading some newspaper, apparently your mother force him with his fanciest clothes as well.
“Good morning dad.” You greeted him with a kiss on his cheek.
“Morning peanut,” His eyes left the paper, watching your dress with a frown. “Huh, I sense your mother’s fashion on your persona.”
You nodded biting your lip.
“Knew it, I still don’t get why are we dressing like this, we must look like those weird high society people, who drinks tea with their pinky raised.”
“Mom said we have to make an impression.”
“Your mother said I had to make an impression while cutting wood, tried to make me put on a tie and everything, she’s getting the madness disease.”
“Madness disease?” You asked him confusedly.
Your father stood up and walked towards you, “The same one that Burgess man has, crazy people, I’m telling you.”
“Where is mom?”
“Oh, she left minutes ago, complaining that you took too long but I stayed behind to wait for you. So, shall we go and face our own personal hell?” He offered you his arm, you link it without question and both of you went towards the great dinning room. “I have a plan if we need an escape, I will swallow a grape and you help me with it and we leave because you are so worried for this old man. Deal?”
“Deal.”
The dinning room was one of the places you truly despise inside the manor, shamelessly big with the floors you always hated cleaning, your mother, as your father told you before, was sitting quite comfortably next to Roderick’s left, batting eyelashes like a teenager next to her first love, you felt your father tense at your side but decided that it wasn’t worth trying to call her out as Roderick wasn’t paying her any attention. Randall and Alex were sitting in front of each other, the youngest one looked tense and nervous, while the older one looked bored.
Your father cleared his throat, managing to separate your mother a bit from Roderick, yet she didn’t move far away from him, you nudge his side and sat beside your mother. The air was tense as you looked at the breakfast plate that was already been served, it was cold and you suspected it was just sat there for some minutes. It was soggy and unappealing but when your mother kicked your leg from under a table, you force it down as best as you could.
It was awful.
“When I bought this manor I knew it would bring challenges,” Roderick began, his voice demanded attention, it was forceful and harsh, his kids tensed at his words, your mother sighed contently, nodding along. “and loosing my wife along the way made them even harder. I became a single parent and tried to navigate my life around them.” He cut a piece of bread. Chewing it loudly. You winced at the sound, trying not to gag in disgust.
“Everything I did, I did them for my children, I never lied to,” Roderick turned towards Randall. “And I always hoped for the same.”
“You are such a good example for your boys and for my girl, we are so grateful to let us be here.
Roderick ignored your mother’s words, “I noticed something quite particular yesterday as I walked to my office.”
Randall tensed. “I consider myself an organized man, I know where the things should go and when someone moved them, so imagine my surprise to see that my safe box was moved just a tiny bit.”
“What are you implying Burgess?” Your father stood up offended. “You invited us here to what…accused us of stealing you?”
“Well, yes.” Roderick simple stated. “You have something belonging to me girl.” He turned to you. “I opened the doors of my home to you, to your family and you have the audacity of stealing for me.”
“No!” Your mother exclaimed, “I mean, my daughter would never steal from you, she is not that stupid to do so.”
“Shut up,” Your father harshly said, “Watch your words Burgess.”
“Why should I?” He smiled. “She’s wearing my wife’s ring.”
Your eyes turned towards your hand, you didn’t took off the ring. “I…”
“Father stop.” Randall stood up, “If you want to blame someone, blame me, I did it, I went into your office and stole the ring.”
Before his father could said anything, he continued, Randall straightened his back, trying to ease the tension around his shoulders, his eyes met yours and saw the fear behind them, your father stood protectively in front of you, waiting his reasoning to gifting you a ring that didn’t belonged to him.
“I asked to marry me.” He whispered, “We’ve been seeing each other for quite some time.”
Roderick was quiet, his eyes turning to you. “I see.” He walked towards the exit and left without a word.
“I…” Randall began.
“Not a word kid, not a word.” Your father stopped him and dragged you away from the diner, your mother walking behind quietly.
Tumblr media
“What were you thinking?!” Your father exclaimed angrily, he began pacing. “You could have chosen anyone. Anyone (Y/N)! Why him?”
“I’m going to stop you there,” Your mother intervened, huge smile on her face. “She made a magnific choice! You are seriously thinking our daughter could end up with a nobody? This is the son of Roderick Burgess, we should be excited she at least know how to choose them.”
“You are not seeing the point,” He turned to look at you, “Why him peanut?”
“Dad,” You began, your fingers began playing with the ring. “I love him.”
“Honey, no, that isn’t love,” His hands cups your face tenderly, making you focus on him. “He isn’t worth it, please trust me.”
“No, no, he is worth,” You desperately said. “He is worth everything dad, I know, please, I know.”
“So you prefer your daughter end up on the streets? Let’s face it, this is the only shot she has, you think there would be another guy who would love her? That man does not exist, Randall is there, willingly gave her a ring, he’s going to take care of her.”
“There is more than ‘taking care of’, she needs to understand that the world is big, he might not be the one, come on! I need you on my side.” Your father begged, “She deserves better than that man and his son, she deserves someone who would willingly…”
“Willingly what?” She spat, venom on her voice. “Willingly die for her? Or maybe, I don’t know, defied death for her? Let’s be real for a second.” She paused, “She is not going to find that, that love does not exist, it never has.”
Your father looked at her quietly, his lips began to tremble, same with his hands. “So my love does not count then?”
“You knew this marriage was,” She never faltered her strong gaze. “And she needs to understand that as well.”
Your mother pushed your father away when he tried to reach for you, standing in front of you, hands on her hips. She didn’t said anything, just stood there watching your father, challenging him to say anything, to find a reason to win this argument. Your father stood there, his gaze turning between you and your mother, staying for a few seconds longer on your mother. Your eyes could see the heartbreak on his eyes, the betrayal that screamed ‘Roderick Burgess has won’, it was loud and painful, and a part of you wanted to apologize to him, to say you didn’t want to love his son but you couldn’t help it, you really tried to hate him.
Someone began knocking at the door urgently, your mother went to opened to find Randall standing there panting, her face broke into a smile and let him enter. Randall walked to you, grabbing your hands. “Could I speak to her for a second? Alone.”
“Of course sweetheart, have all the time you need.” Your mother left dragging your father away, he didn’t spare you a glance.
“Randall,” You began, shaking his hands of yours, “I told you so…”
“I know, I know, but,” He grabbed your hands again with desperation. “He just needs some time to understand, this news were a shock to him, he will understand.”
“No he won’t.”  You breathed heavily. “He would never understand.”
“He will.”
“If I asked you once again, to leave everything behind, would you say yes?” You tried again, hoping and praying he would say yes, yes to leave everything behind you, to just grabbed very little and start again somewhere far away from this nightmare.
Randall didn’t answered.
“Randall,” You whispered.
“The plan still stands, I’ll go to war and then I will come back and marry you, that’s the plan.”
You shook your head, trying to get away from him but he didn’t let you, wrapping his arms around your form, forcing you to stay still, tears began falling down your face, knowing what this meant. Yes, he will marry you, you trust that, but sadly, your lives would be revolve around his father and that would never stop and sadly, a part of you was ready to accept that fate.
Tumblr media
Randall left a few days after, after what happened at the breakfast, the both of you didn’t try and talk again, yet you still were there at the door, hugging him tightly as a truck came and pick you up, he kissed the side of your head before leaving.
It was harder than you thought it would be, you knew it would be difficult to continue your days without him, but the pain that came with his leaving was hurtful and suffocating. And most of your days you spend it crying his parting.
Everything around you was changing, some things for the better while others for the bad, your mother became more involve with Roderick Burgess and your father becoming more distant with her. You saw in first row how their marriages began burning out and sadly you couldn’t do anything to stop it.
It was past midnight when he first saw you breaking down. He sat down next to you, taking the letter that was on your hands. It was from Randall, explaining how it might take more time for him to come back home.
Your father stayed quietly and gently moved you onto his lap, tucking your face on his neck, he began humming softly, the same song he used to hum when you were a little baby. You kept crying, apologizing to him for hurting him with your feelings but he hummed louder, drowning your apologies on his voice. You were beginning to fall asleep when you felt him kissing your forehead, you felt like a kid in his arms again.
“I know peanut, I know.”
Your mom was a different story, she began moving upwards on the Roderick’s circle. The Order of the Ancient Mysteries was secret and only a few people were lucky enough to be part of it. Your mother was one of the lucky ones.
She began to change within the passing days, she became a totally new persona, more secretive, more sarcastic and more angry. After a few weeks of Randall’s leaving, your mother moved into another room on the manor, leaving your father and you alone.
Your father took it hard.
He became a shadow of what he used to be, faking a smile wherever you became preoccupied with him, promising you that he was just tired of how hard work has been.
You became a shadow as well, your faith in Randall’s returning was fading with each day and you began wondering if you two were truly in love after all. His letters became scattered, sometimes you would receive one each week, sometimes one each month, but now you were lucky if you receive one a month.
You stopped wearing the ring, opting for having it on a necklace, closer to your heart, you force the idea of having it there, closer to your heart. Not on your finger, where you would see it. A sealed fate.
The beginning of autumn was closer, and that meant the cold winds were around the corner, sometimes you think those two seasons were a reflection of your relationship with Randall was, beginning to get cold and uncolored.
You were putting some plates away when your father came into the kitchen, he was tired, you could tell but there was a glint on his eyes you haven’t had seen in a long time, he was trying so hard not to smile while having something behind his back.
“It’s apple season.” He began.
“It is,” You nodded, now paying close attention to him. “What has you so happy?”
“Well, I found your mother’s basket the other day,” Now it was ‘your mother’ not ‘my darling’ or ‘honey’ those stopped days back. “And I saw the apples and thought ‘maybe it would be good idea to grabbed a few’…in a manly way, of course.”
You tried not to laugh, fully sitting on the counter. “And what is a ‘manly way’ dad?”
Your father frown, trying to find a good way of describing his way with words. “Well, a ‘manly way’ is just that, grabbing apples…in a manly way.” He nodded, proud of his description. “Also was hoping you would bake a pie, as a reward for bringing such quality produce.”
You shook your head smiling, you missed this mood on your father, happily, free, joking. You missed him a lot. Your hop down the counter and grabbed the apples, you carefully looked at them, making your father nervous.
“Did I do a good job, peanut?” He carefully asked, finally sitting on one of the chairs.
“To be honest,” You began, trying not to smile. “You did an excellent job dad…so…”
“So…?”
“How’s mom?” You turned away, beginning to wash and peeling the apples. “Haven’t seen her for a while.”
Your father shrugged uncomfortably, “Probably with that Burgess…she spends most of her days with him anyway.”
“Dad…”
“No, no, it’s fine, I got used to it, it’s not like she’s my wife or something.” He rested his head on the back of the chair, looking at the ceiling before sighing. “She began saying she’s single, guess this is finally over.”
“Don’t think that” You turned, “Mom just needs a little push and she would come back. I know she would.”
“It’s really fine peanut.” He reassure you, trying to smile a bit. “But I would love if we don’t talk about this.”
You nodded.
“How’s the kid? Doing good?” He asked you, breaking the uncomfortable silence.
You shrugged, “I…really don’t know.” You glance at him for a moment, turning away quickly and blinking faster, trying to stop the tears from falling down. “Hasn’t wrote in a while.”
“Peanut…”
“It’s fine, he really needs to focus so he can come back faster.”
Your father nodded and dropped the subject.
“We could do some hot tea.” He said.
“I would love that.”
Tumblr media
It was later at night and you were still awake, your mind busying itself with doubts, was it worth it waiting for him? His feelings for you were real? Or were just a game to him?
You wanted to keep positive, you really tried but he was gone for far too long that you began questioning yourself, you wanted him here, with you, you wanted him to put you first and his father seconds. But he put his father’s needs and wants first, what does that mean? Would your relationship fail? Was it worth even trying?
You turned towards the window, your hands got under your pillow and you began watching how the light entered your room, it turned everything with a mystical shade of blue and white, your eyes traveled to that small box you kept his letters, you haven’t read them in a while, it was hard but you couldn’t do that to yourself.
You heard a noise from outside, you frown and sat down, your bed sheets pooled on your lap, carefully moving around them, trying to keep quiet. You glanced outside your window, your eyes only saw shadows and for a moment you swore you saw them move. You bit your lip, saying to yourself that you were tired and that was just your imagination playing games with you.
A hand grabbed you from behind, covering your mouth harshly and dragging you out of your room, you began kicking, trying to break free from the stranger’s grasp. You manage to bite onto his hand and when he let’s your mouth free you screamed.
“Dad!” You screamed with force, the strange closed your mouth.
“Shh pretty lady, we don’t want to wake the entire manor, do we?” He whispered on your ear. “Such a beautiful girl needs to learn her place with a man, and that is your silence.”
You heard footsteps running towards you and the sound of a shotgun.
“Listen to me piece of shit,” Your dad aimed the gun at the stranger, “Let go of my daughter before I shoot you.”
You saw shadows moved behind him, you scream ‘turn around, please turn around, there are more’ but you couldn’t the sound was muffled by the strangers hand. He laughed, kissing your temple.
“Sorry man,” The stranger smiled against your temple, “He said she was alone, no hard feelings.” You saw how someone appeared behind your dad and hit him on the back of the head. “Sorry about this sweetheart.”
Tumblr media
You were on the ground when you woke up, your head was throbbing in pain and everything was dark and it felt humid. You stood up and stumble for a bit, your hand looking for the wall to support yourself.
You didn’t know where you were, you didn’t even know if you were still on the manor. Your father, god you hoped your father was okey, that they didn’t hurt him. A sigh escaped you, a hand dragged across your face, trying to shake off the earie feeling.
“Good, you are awake.”
You recognized the voice, you tried looking for her but the room was so dark it was difficult. “Mom?” You asked the emptiness.
“Don’t call me that.” She responded, taking a few steps until she revealed herself to you, her face shown no emotion.
“Where’s dad?” You tried again.
“Your father met his fate when he intervened against the orders.” She replied, her feet carried her around you, that’s when you finally notice the bars.
“What?” You touched them, “Where is he? What’s going on? Why am I on this place?” You questioned her, shaking the bars hoping for something. “I don’t understand mom, what’s happening?”
“You have caused this,” She stood in front of you, “This is your punishment…the blood of your fathers is in your hands” Your mother whispered before she left, never glancing at you.
The days passed or you thought so. It was harder to keep track when you didn’t see the sun or the moon. Sometimes a guard came here and brought you something to eat, something you didn’t eat. You just sat there quietly, still hearing her words repeating over and over again.
Your father’s blood was on your hands.
Your hands were full of his blood.
It was your fault.
A bag of clothes hit you in the face, forcing you out of your thoughts, your hands grabbed it.
“Roderick is asking for you.” Your mother came back, she was wearing a dark cloak while she waited for you to start dressing. “We must be on time, hurry up child.”
You stood up and beginning to strip, you didn’t care she was watching you, you didn’t care if the guard came and watch you too. Your mind was far away and you were so tired. However you could, you manage to put on what she throw you. It was a dress, the material was soft and you were grateful for a change of clothes. It was white and sleeveless, it didn’t fit your body as it was a few sizes too big but you didn’t care at this point.
“Turn around,” You did as you were told, your mother hummed, “Do a quick braid, Randall was right, you don’t look good with you hair down.”
She motioned the guard next to her to open up the doors and cuff you. She grabbed your arm and began dragging you away from there, it was hard to keep up with her steps as your body was too weak, malnourish and tired. You just wanted to sleep. Your mother force you to climb the steps, throwing harsh words at your direction if you stumble for a bit.
The light almost made you blind, your eyes closed in pain, it was far too long from the last time you saw the light, and it wasn’t even a bright day, perhaps closer to night time.
She kept dragging you until you were pushed you at the center, the room was filled with people, dressed the same as your mother, you began to feel uncomfortable as they were watching you closely.
They moved when Roderick stepped forward, his face was angry, you could tell from the way his mouth was making a disgust grimace. He looked you up and down, circling around you, he force your back to straighten up. “She is missing something.” He said, a few women stepped forward quickly, one putting a veil on your head, covering your face rapidly, another gave you a bouquet of white narcissus. You were confused but said nothing. “You know what you are here child?”
You said nothing.
“You are here to correct the mistakes of your sins.” His fingers motioned forward. “Bring him here.” Two men carried a coffin, putting it in front of you. “I thought you were meant for greatness but you only brought doom with your birth.” He opened the coffin, a corpse was laying there dressed on the finest clothes.
“This is your doing.” He continued, he grabbed your chin, forcing you to face the corpse, “My son is dead because of you.”
You gasped at the sight of Randall, his face wasn’t him, this wasn’t him, you couldn’t. No. You won’t believe this, you know Roderick is lying, Randall promise he would come back, he would come back for you. You tried to move backwards but were force to stay put. Two men grabbed your arms and forced you on your knees.
“Look at your doing!” Roderick screamed. “My son is dead because of you!”
Your mother stepped forward, handing him a book. “It is ready, my lord, the binding circle is complete.”
Roderick nodded content, he grabbed the book and opened it, “Brothers, sisters, please step back, we are about to begin.”
They left you there, next to Randall’s body.
“We are here reunited to do the impossible. We are about to be written in history as the greatest, as the ones who deserved everything. As the ones who capture Death and have it under our control.” He began, his eyes turning onto the open page. “We completed drawing the binding circle, the totem of Death’s calling, Death requires sacrifices, as its name said, ‘The one who guides you to the end.’ But today. Today we are going to capture it. Death separates the soul of the body, Death leaves the ones who doesn’t deserve to live here and takes the ones who truly were meant to be something away. Death took my son, Death took what belonged to me and we will have it return, Randall will return to us!”
His followers cheered loudly.
“This child was the true sacrifice, not my son. She deserves this punishment for her sins, she trapped my son onto her web of lies, and today, she will mend her mistakes today.”
He put the open book on a pedestal and his arms opened widely. “Chant with me brothers and sisters. ‘Ego te hac nocte voco. Cum sol occultavit. Mors venit ad me. Audite avocatos meo. Mors venit ad me. Tibi hoc sacrificium est, redde nobis quod amisimus.’ Again!” He demanded.
His followers said the words with force, chanting them with gleeful madness, following their leader, over and over again the voices were heard. The air felt cold and hot at the same time, the candles that surrounded the binding circle were blown off. Roderick smiled in madness. “Again!” He demanded again.
You were trembling with fear, they sounded lunatic. You couldn’t move away, something made your knees stuck on the ground, perhaps your body was frozen in fear, perhaps their words were doing something real. Perhaps Death would come and spare your life, perhaps it would take you away. You didn’t know.
Roderick stepped into the binding circle, kneeling behind you, he grabbed your chin forcefully, “Tonight Death will take what was wrongly left behind and in return it will bring what was taken away before its time.” You felt the blade of a knife against your neck, carefully caressing it. “You desperately wanted to be a bride so badly that your demands provoke my son’s death, you will bring him back, you were meant to be a bride but never a wife, you will doom whoever decides to wed you child. You are a mistake. You are a bad omen, you will be grateful for my hand.”
Tumblr media
The sound of a knife hitting the floor shut everybody’s chanting. “Did it work?” Someone asked.
Roderick stood up, pushing your body harshly on the ground, cleaning the remaining blood on your wedding skirt. He walked towards his son and gently patted his face. “Randall? Come on son, it’s time to wake from your slumber.”
Randall didn’t move, his face was still pale and his chest unmoving. Roderick screamed in frustration, kicking the pedestal where the book was being held. “Take that thing away from me,” His head motioned your slumped body, a small pool of blood was soaking your dress. “Pointless.”
Your mother took an uninterested glance at you, moving carefully to the angry man. “What should we do now, my lord?”
Roderick closed his eyes in frustration, “We will try again, brothers and sisters, Death will come and I will have my revenge.”
“And with the body, sir?” She asked, her head nodding at your direction. “What should we do with it?”
“Bury it, burn it, I do not care.” He began walking away. “Do what you like, in the end, that is your child, is it not?”
Your mother watched him leave, she sighed tiredly before turning to the others. “Bury her next to the man who gave her life. They deserve to at least rot together in hell.”
The others nodded before they began dragging you away, a trail of blood was left behind you. Your mother went to pick up the book, a random page. “Huh…I see.”

Thoughts on yandere mobius? Or yandere Hot Mei? (thunder ladies.. My weakness)
thunder ladies mmmm, there is no OR for our thunder ladies, i made BOTH HAHAHAHAHHAHA
lets get into it!
warning : typos, bad grammar
attention! please do not try to repost my works, i only post my works on tumblr, if anyone see someone stole my works please inform me through the comments, tag me in the works, or message me!
Mobius
yeah high possibility to drug you
she’s a doctor afterall
she interest on you -> start observing you -> fall in love -> attached to you -> yandere activated
take a bit of long time for her falling in love, but only took 3-4 days for her to become yandere and being obsessive
drugging 24/7 if you don’t behave
locking you like a lab rat if you don’t behave
she’ll chain you if you behave
like a dog or a cat
she’ll treat you like a lost, pure, unpowered little one
“I’ll protect you, my little patient~”
she doesn’t lose her patience easily
but if you do, you’re dead.
she’ll starve you for days, will cage you, and only will free you if you say sorry enough
then she’ll be pity towards you, again.
like a satanic demonic circle of hell
strict. obviously.
“please...let me go..” you begged, try to grab one of the cold cage that you’re in right now, you’re vision blurred, but you can see Mobius stand in front of you, kicking your hand try shortly grab the cage.
“See? all of this happened because of you breaking my order, if i told you to stay then stay, is it so hard for you to understand with that brain of yours hm?” she replied, looking at you that.. looks pathetic, helpless, unpowered, weak, that now begged her for her help.
she doesn’t care if someone say that she’s a monster, she’s disgusting, she’s cruel, she clearly admit that she loves your crying, you little beg, trying to gain her forgiveness, so she’s now opening the cage, carrying you in a bride style t keep you on her arms, you’re body is now as cold as her, she let out a smirk and brush you hair that covers you eyes that’s about to shut down, she likes to see that hopeless eyes.
“Good rat, now if i told you that you’re going to behave, then behave, get it?”
you let out a very little nod, before you fall into an endless darkness in your sleep for who knows how long..
.
.
Mei
this woman in her Herrscher Era is her most yandere era tbh
she is the definition of abuse yandere i think
she’s doing all of this just to keep you safe, so she’ll not lose you
why being a blockhead, she thought you understand
if you don’t like it, just suck it up.
kicking, choking, is the only thing that she does to keep you in her command actually
but she’s not that mean in general
she’ll only do that if you’re not listening to her words and danger yourself
i think she’s not that person that have a big portion of patience
at least- at her Herrscher form or after the Houkai world diva.
but after all, she’s caring and loving, she loves to be with you in every matter of second she got
anything you want, she’ll grant it.
you want anyone dead? done
you want a place to be vanished? sure
you want her? she’ll be right there like lightning mcQueen
like : “ngueengg bzzt bzzt”
“Mei...i want to go outside..” you say, tugging her hand, just to see her sighing, and then looking at the bruise on your neck that you got a few days ago, so you still haven’t changed your mind after she’s doing all of the violence.
“You really want to go outside that bad? what do you want to see anyway?”
she replied while searching something on the table, and then you shrugged, “I want to see the world around, i want to run, fly with Kurikara and..spend sometime with you-”
you stuttered when she give you a chain at your neck, and then holding your hand gently. “Fine, sure, but stay close to me.”
“Sure!!”
