i need help
I've been looking for a damian-centric fic about the batfam not remembering his birthday and he didn't say anything about it so in return, he's missing their birthdays
there's this one specific scene wherein it was barbara's upcoming birthday so he was trying to think of a gift.
he went to tim's room and saw tim's collection of photographs of friends and family and saw one of Barbara's he'd like to borrow to draw a portrait for. as damian looked through tim's photos, tim had a realization that he somehow doesn't have a photo of damian.
that one scene really burned in my mind and I've been trying to look for it. does anyone know the fic?

Tim Drake Fics On A03
Tumblr media
These are my list of Tim Drake fics on A03. It has everything. Angst, fluff, funny sibling relationship, family fluff, The core four etc... There are few TimKon fics thrown here and there too. Have fun.
Tim Drake (Doesn't) Drink Coffee by BabblingBookends
Every year, Tim goes on a caffeine detox for a month and has to deal with the resulting withdrawal symptoms. He doesn't tell the rest of the Bats about this, because, uh, reasons!
Bang, bang by Ididloveyou_once
‘You shot me!’ Jason gasped, stunned, ‘Holy shit, you actually shot me.’
Tim’s eyes widened and he froze. They stared at each other for a second, dumbstruck and then-
‘Don’t tell Bruce.’
Or: The family enjoy a normal movie night. Except Jason has a gunshot wound and Tim’s the only one who knows and oh- that’s because Tim’s the one who shot him and they really, really need to find a way to leave before anyone finds out.
Play it Again by Jazz020
The manor feels too quiet without music. Tim and Damian bond over music.
Send to All by kerosceene
I, ___________________________, hereby acknowledge that this form represents my wishes should I contract phytoaphrodisiac-induced delirium (hereafter referred to as “PAID”) during engagements with or while apprehending Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley (“Poison Ivy”).
-
The bats have a sex pollen release form. Because of course they do.
This is on of the most funniest batfam fic I have ever read.
four brothers, one crush, and absolutely zero brain cells to be found by Ms_Trickster
Tim: i need to know what’s the best way to a boy’s heart
Damian: Easy. The best way to someone’s heart is through their ribcage. Everyone knows that.
Damian: Come on Timothy, I expected better from you.
Dick: I-
Dick: Try again
-
Tim is having boy troubles.
Tim goes to his brothers for help.
Tim...did not think that plan of action through.
(In which the batbros give Tim advice on relationships, told entirely through texts.)
Their sibiling relationship is too damn funny.
Home by sElkieNight60
“Why didn't you call home?” the Red Hood is scolding him, bizarrely making his head spin with how unreal everything suddenly seems. “Why didn't you call Dad? You've been missing for three days and he is losing his mind―he thinks you've been kidnapped again―everyone has been pulling double runs all over the city trying to find you! You fucking disappeared! Seriously, Baby Bird, give us one good reason why we shouldn't drag your ass back home right now and have Dad bench you until the end of all days!?”
The two vigilantes are staring at him equal parts furious and equal parts relieved, but there must be some kind of mistake, because:
“Who is Tim?”
Only A03 users can read this fic.
Cork Board Contingencies by PrinceJakeFireCake
If you don’t use a cork board to obsessively plan contingencies for every possible way a date with your best friend can go, how can you go on a date at all?
Excerpt: “Are you free next Saturday?” Tim asked, pretty sure that Kon’s jumble of words was agreement that he wanted to date Tim.
“Maybe!” Kon exclaimed.
“Cool,” Tim commented, taking another sip of his drugged grape soda (“Dammit, Tim,” he mentally told himself. “Do not give in! Buy new grape soda! Stop drinking the drugged grape soda! I’ve shotgunned another can of drugged grape soda, haven’t I? Dammit, that makes five!”) then saying, “That gives me just enough time to pass out for fifty-two hours and plan our first date.”
Bloodlines by chibi_nightowl for exiled-one (mistralle)
“Mr. Drake, I can’t think of a better way to say this, so I’ll just be blunt. This file is for your first adoption. By the Drakes.”
Tim blinked. “My what?”
“You were adopted as a newborn by Jack and Janet Drake.”
“Excuse me, but what the fuck are you talking about?”
No words. This fic is just mind blowing.
fill in the blanks by mindshelter
“You?” Tim blurts. Holy shit. “You’re Kon?”
A nod. “Are you in any pain?” he asks again.
Kon’s skin is sun-kissed, cheekbones dusted with a fine smattering of freckles; he is, without exaggeration, the prettiest person Tim has ever seen. “No, I’m—great,” he says, fidgeting. “Do you, uh, come here often?”
Kon raises a brow. “To the medbay?” he intones. “Definitely more often than I’d prefer.”
Road Rage Robin by heartslogos
"I'd be doing humanity a favor." Tim grinds out, "And I would get away with it. I could totally get away with it. I've done worse."
Only A03 users can read this fic
Liberal Usage of the Bro-Code by heartslogos for protagonistically (the_protagonist)
“You’re never going to guess who’s blood is on my shirt – similarly, this is not my shirt but these are my pants.”
Only A03 users can read this fic.
Here's a Reminder (That You Haven't Fallen Through the Cracks) by popsunner
If it’s a salesperson, he’ll shove them a hundred dollar tip and tell them to go away, if it’s some religious do gooder, he’ll direct them to Metropolis. If it’s a Rogue, he’ll tell them he’s busy and to please get in the fucking line. If it’s one of his siblings--
“Hey, Tim!” Dick says brightly, forearm braced against the doorframe.
Dammit.
i totally don't have amnesia by impravidus for odd_izzy
Based on this john mulaney bit: “I also think it's weird in movies when someone has amnesia and they wake up in the hospital. A lot of times they'll be surrounded by friends and family, but when they open their eyes they go "Who are you?" Because that's not how you act when you don't recognize somebody. That's very rude. It would be chaos out there if every time you saw someone you didn't recognize, you went, "Who are you?" I always try to be really polite in life, so like if I had amnesia, you'd never know it. I'd wake up and they'd be like "Hi John, we're so happy you're awake." And I'd just be like, "Oh, hey, man, how's it going?", "Oh, hey, dude, nice to see you again." because that's how you act when you can tell that someone recognizes you and you have no fucking clue who they are.”
Detective Timothy Drake and the Mysterious Case of the Unclaimed Dildo by JpegDotJpeg
Tim had a lot of experience with problem solving. Every goddamn day he was solving problems. There was no shortage of problems in Tim’s life. He’d learned how to deal with overbearing parents, underbearing parents, malfunctioning equipment, in-team conflict, lawsuits, emotional breakdowns, financial difficulty, broken ribs, ill-timed boners, and a whole host of other bizarre, anxiety-inducing, or life-threatening issues that plagued his existence.
None of them had prepared him for finding a dildo in the dishwasher.
I had so much fun reading this.
Little Overlooked Dreams by Lunette3002 for Marzue
Tim weighed his options. He was alone at night in some alleyway in Gotham. He had nothing except the clothes left on the ground by someone and the cloak wrapped around his skinny shoulders. His camera was nowhere in sight. His backpack was gone too.
He brought the device to his ear. “Hello?”
Whatever talking had been on the other end of the line immediately cut off at his hesitant greeting.
“Who is this?”
Family Photos by KelpieCodyne
“I thought you quit your photo stalking?”
“In my defence, I never said I was quitting, and you never asked if I would,” Tim immediately counters. “So really, this is kind of on you.”
Just because Tim became a bat, doesn’t mean he stopped taking photos of bats. Several times Tim took photos of the batfamily, and one time they took photos of him.
One of my all time favorite fic. And only A03 users can read this fic too.
picture perfect memories by Fandom_Trash224
“I… require assistance with something. I believe you are best-suited for it.”
Tim raises an eyebrow, but motions for the younger boy to enter his room. As Damian does, he slowly closes the door behind him, and Tim notices a small piece of what Tim assumes to be paper in Damian’s hand. Then, he realizes it’s not just a piece of paper: it’s a photo.
Damian approaches Tim, holding out the photo at arm’s length once he’s close enough to do so, saying, “I would like you to explain this photo to me.”
Tim glances down at it, and to both his surprise and mild horror, he recognizes the photo.
Only A03 users can read this fic.
Biphasic Reaction by renecdote
People may have allergic reactions all the time and be fine, but they can also die from them. He has a flash of sudden, morbid curiosity about what the exact statistics for fatal allergic reactions are.
Only A03 users can read this fic.
miles and miles (in their shoes) by JUBE514
Where is Damian? Why can’t he see anything clearly? Where is the little brat? Damian had been by him in the cave when everything had exploded, they had been arguing like always when the two of them had gotten the punishment to go clean the trophy room, stop yelling at each other, stop being at each other's throat for two minutes and go clean the goddamn trophy room-
They had been cleaning, got into another knock out drag out argument, and it had come so close to blows and they had been screaming more than cleaning and-
The stupid fucking shoe, in the magical section- exploded out-
--
Tim and Damian switch bodies, the two of them realize exactly why the other does the things they do.
The Waynes, Damsels in Distress by hitthedeck
Roses are red, violets are blue, Bruce Wayne and his kids get kidnapped every other week. Some things are just universal, undeniable facts of life.
Or, in which Bruce Wayne is still Batman and his kids are still Robins, but they keep letting themselves get kidnapped because they think it's funny.
Have You Seen My Kids!? by Cute_Bear
Five Times Bruce's kids interrupted him as Bruce Wayne and One Time they interrupted him as Batman with the Justice League.
This is not Tim - centric, but it has really nice batfam fluff.
ten cents richer by Ms_Trickster
You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
That’s how the saying goes. Take enough punches from the universe and eventually it becomes harder and harder to pop back up, to see the worth in fighting back, to stop yourself from turning around and delivering some punches of your own.
Tim never wanted to become the villain—
“Appendicitis,” Tim breathed in disbelief. “Are you fucking kidding me?”
—but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t tempted to burn the world to ashes when shit like this kept happening to him.
A Saturday Evening by malcyon
Jonathan shrugs, catches the expression still on Tim’s face. “We did throw out the cyanide.”
“Only because it expired.”
“Marty.”
“Well, it did.”
*****
Kon invites Tim over for dinner. Tim's not sure if he should have accepted that invitation.
unfurl by shipyrds
"Hey, Dick," Tim says. He's in costume, and fiddling with his gloves, but he doesn't remove his mask: nervous, and trying to hide it. "You've had sex with aliens, right?"
"I'm not going to like where this is going, am I?" Dick says, resigned.
"How did you deal with the whole. Junk situation," Tim says, in his best professional Mission Report voice. Its success is kind of undermined with how red his face is below the domino. — Tim asks some questions. Bruce and Clark come to some realizations.
The Conner Kent Conspiracy Board by Hayleythewriter
Tim figures out Kon’s feelings before Kon does.
His Baby by Musafir
Bruce once made Tim a promise that he would never break, just have to reaffirm later in life.
“Hi Tim. I’m Bruce and I am always going to be here for you.”
Banshee In A Well by liverobinreaction (bugbee)
Tim is five years old when he drowns in his parents' pool. He dies quietly, waiting for parents who love him, but will never be there, to realise that something is wrong. They never show up, and he sinks into oblivion.
When he wakes up and claws his way out of the water, the sun has set, and the lights of his house are on. He is cold and wet and his lungs burn.
But most of all, Tim is alone.
(If you die and no-one is there to see it, were you ever alive in the first place?)
The Return by lurkinglurkerwholurks
What the comics neglected to cover after Bruce returns from being lost in time.
Only a03 users can read this fic.
charity by Valkirin for Ms_Trickster
The biggest downside of being adopted by Bruce Wayne is putting up with rich people events, including one where Jason will be in a room with a bunch of rich kids for a couple very long hours while Bruce goes to the adults' meeting. Jason is ready for a very bad time but the Drake kid listens to him from the start and keeps backing up Jason's ideas even though they've never met.
Jason warms up to Tim Drake long before Mad Hatter tries to take over the meeting and Tim backs him up again.
city of stars by lovelyre
College friends-to-lovers AU with Tim Drake.
This is Tim drake x Reader fic. Trust me its really good.
Tricks of the Trade by Jazz020

Security Updates by Jazz020
Hal, Clark, and Barry find an unexpected guest playing with the watchtowers security.
Vacation at the Watchtower by Jazz020
A continuation of Security Updates
It may have been a mistake to let Tim stay at the Watchtower while he heals from his injury but the kid really needed to get away from his brothers.
“Wait, what if I go to the Watchtower with you.” “I don't think-” “It’ll be great. I'll even help out if you need me to. I'll be the best unpaid intern the Justice League has ever had.”
Birthdays by Jazz020
Bruce was always aware that Jack and Janet Drake were bad parents, but every once in a while they give him an unfortunate reminder.
Loss by Jazz020
Out of all of Tim’s self-destructive tendencies, it was his willingness to die for his loved ones that frightened Alfred most.
Sick by Jazz020
Tim’s never quite figured out the proper behavior for someone who’s sick. Instead of resting, he often makes his way to the Watchtower.
We Can Work It Out by blackash26, Tigrislupa
Damian endeavors to make up for his treatment of Drake and apologize properly; however, Drake refuses to forgive him no matter what he does. Tim does his best to deny, avoid, and ultimately deal with the fact that the demon brat has a crush on him of all people. (Pulling pigtails never felt like quite such an understatement.) Meanwhile, the rest of the family takes sides.
In all of this, there's only one thing everyone agrees on.
Don’t tell Dick.
Only A03 users can read this fic.
you'll never find a thing like today by remrose
"I'm just saying, I don't think I've ever been to one of these things that hasn't ended in explosions," Bart tells them, eyes on the crowds as he tugs at the ends of his cuffs.
To the Boy Who Called Yesterday by Shirokokuro
Bruce wonders when six-year-old Tim changed, when he shed that sad look he’s wearing now.
Or, perhaps, when he got so good at hiding it.
Cough syrup by Stardustwrites17
It’s the coldest night in the year. So of course Tim falls into the Gotham-fucking-harbor.
Featuring a worried dad, Tim's missing spleen, and of course, Tim battling with himself between being independent and letting himself be loved.
Chili dogs seasoned with tears by Robin_The_Robiner
Ever so slowly, Tim looked down at his plate. On it was a steaming chili dog, topped with fried onions and fresh parsley.
“Oh.” he whispered.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
Taking the place of a beloved dead boy was difficult, but Tim managed to do a decent job. He's smart, confident, and put together, so he wasn't effected by their devastating grief at all.
Tim is also a dirty little liar when it comes to his mental health.
A Pile Of Pillows By The Couch by reinersbigtits
Tim has always hated getting sick. He hates the haze and the pain. But, when he finds out his family is sick he jumps in to help without a second thought. However, without a spleen, he's incredibly susceptible to the illness and quickly realizes just how much he's missed out on.
Or: Tim Drakes repressed trauma followed by worried family feels and lots of comfort.
stepping on landmines by Ms_Trickster
There is a scar curved around Drake's neck that Damian does not understand.
So he asks Todd.
the butler's neighbor by deargalileo
It starts with a baseball, thrown onto the wayne's property. it's alfred's job to deal with such happenings, of course. but over tea and galas, it turns into so much more.
after all, why should bruce be the only one allowed to adopt any child that he finds?
Stranger than Fiction by foxy_mulder
"There are details in this document that absolutely no one should know unless they have inside information on us. There’s hints that they know our patrol schedules and regularly keep tabs on us. I don't know who's behind this, or what they want with Batman, but tracking the writer needs to be a priority."
"And this document is… a fanfiction?"
_________
(Tim Drake writes Batman fanfiction. He doesn't expect Batman to actually find it.)
There are many many more fics which i will post later. Have fun reading

Tim Drake-centric fic prompt that I really really wanna read about specifically but can't find one
Where after Tim got beaten up by this new guy Red Hood, Tim already knew that he was Jason and let's Hood beat him up and after that, Tim plans to let Hood slowly come back to the family.
Just stable enough for Bruce and Jason to talk once more and that's when Tim will slowly fade from the Wayne family.
Tim believed himself as only a business partner, a colleague and employee, not a family. And besides, he only became Robin because Batman needed Robin but now that Red Hood came back, there was no need for Tim. But he has to stay for a few more days or so just in case (or maybe it's him not wanting to give this up).
And then Damien came who then pulled a Red Hood on Tim again for the Robin title.
Tim let's Damien have it by the end of it tho since he remembers that his original plan from the very beginning of becoming a Robin was to only help Batman stabilize and Batman seems to have got it already.
Now Tim starts to see the Wayne's less and less and the family starts to notice this too so they try and investigate (stalking) Tim by observing where he's going, what he does and what new hobbies his got going.
The family found him dating someone.
Or
The family caught Tim something something really big and surprising that I can't even say

“The analysis is complete. The bottle residue and samples we collected all tested positive for norovirus RNA—or, as it’s more commonly known, stomach flu.”
“Jesus take the wheel…” Timothy murmurs under his breath, ducking his head and tapping his fingers to his forehead, chest, and each shoulder in the sign of the cross.
Damian rolls his eyes. “Aren’t you Jewish, Drake.”
“I am an immunocompromised agnostic who just sat through a four-hour stakeout with three people who are now puking their guts up,” he bites back. “I will take anyone who’s listening.”
Richard gives a weak snort. “So this is a literal Hail Mary?”
Timothy glares back. “Yes.”
(In the case of Bats vs. Stomach Bug, there can only be one victor.)

Faith
Summary: Keeping faith was never easy for Jason, and the struggle creates a war in his mind that hangs between self-destructing and outright torment.
This was inspired by the artwork of @lethologicaee
Just letting you guys know that this story has a lot of heavy religious references and reflections of trauma, so if that makes you uncomfortable please do not engage with this story. Keep yourself healthy and happy, my loves.
Another warning, referenced drug use
Jason couldn’t remember what he saw after he died—if he saw anything. He only remembered seeing the Joker followed by waking up to darkness and the smell of dirt. The moment his eyes opened, not seeing but feeling the softness of his coffin, two things ran through his mind: Bruce and the noticeable absence of God.
There was never a moment in Jason’s life when he was a religious fanatic, but there were a few years with Catherine when he went to church semi-regularly. It was right after Willis had gone to jail and before his mother had fully developed her addiction. She had come to rely on religion for some comfort and tried to teach Jason to do the same.
“How come we’re going to church now?” He had asked as she buttoned up one of his nicer jackets. His hands were still too small to properly do it himself, and they were already running late.
She thinned her lips, thinking, and her sacred blue eyes flickered up to meet his for a moment before going back down to the buttons. “I think going to church could be good for us. I think we’ve run out of faith, and it could teach us to get it back again. To keep going.”
Jason grumbled, slightly annoyed that he had to get up so early on a Sunday morning, “And we need to go to church for that?”
“Yes,” Catherine said pointedly.
The Gotham Parish Church was one of the biggest and one of the nicest in the city. It had been around not long before the Waynes had come and was kept up by donations from other rich Gothamite families. It was a rare beauty in the Gotham smog. A diamond on the outside, he knew for sure, but he couldn't quite say the same for the inside of it.
Jason remembered finding it odd that he had to kneel in front of a big wooden Jesus figure but did it anyway as he followed Catherine’s lead. He stared at the figure, it was painted with vivid browns, beiges, and reds, and it left him feeling a little sad. He wondered why a man would die for people who did not care for nor knew him. He supposed it was for his godly father.
The only reason he kept going to church willingly was for his mother. When he looked up at Catherine during prayer, he’d seen her smile for the first time in a while. She looked happy, almost younger, even. The stress from her face faded and she looked at him with so much love coupled with optimism.
He found something similar in feeling, but couldn’t determine if it was Catherine’s contagious hopefulness or Father Thomas’ sermon of goodness in people. Eventually, Jason began to like the weekly routine and even found solace in it. He wondered if that feeling was the holy light Father Thomas talked about.
Then, he found Catherine sitting on her bed with a needle in her arm.
Jason tried to get her help, going to Father Thomas and begging him to do something. He only patted him on the head and said, “If she has faith then God will deliver from this sin.”
Jason had felt terrified and angry. Terrified because how could he get his mother to get more faithful, especially at her lowest, when he hardly knew the meaning of it? And, was angry, because he could not fathom the sin she was committing. What kind of god would abandon someone who was sick, much less mark them as a sinner?
It stirred a holy turmoil within Jason’s young mind that came to a sudden end when he found Catherine dead on the bathroom floor. Because, with her, Jason’s faith had died, too. It wasn’t until he was in Wayne Manor did he found a little bit of that again. It wasn’t the holy kind of faith, but, rather, the faith in love. With Bruce, he began to pray again and believed that, maybe, God was still there.
Bruce wasn’t religious himself, but always told him that it was always worth believing in something. That gave Jason the courage to ask Alfred, who had mentioned that now and then he would attend church if he could join him on one of those occasions. Ultimately, nothing ever came of it. Jason tried not to dwell on what he could have been if he had gone with Alfred.
Then, there was Sheila, and Jason had prayed for the past. He wanted a mother who he could look up to in the church light and believe wholeheartedly in God again.
Sheila had welcomed him with open arms, but, in the end, his faith in her was ripped from him. Yet, there was still Bruce who would save him— Both of them. The love he felt for Bruce was immeasurable, just as if they had always been father and son. It was because of him Jason died still believing.
Now, back from the dead, all that he was left with was anger and grief. He was angry at Bruce and God, and he grieved for the boy he used to be. With Bruce, his resentment was built off of another failed father who turned away; with God, it was deeper than just that. It was a fit of animalistic, sacred anger that made him want to tear the heart out of the very idea of faith with his bare teeth. Jason felt more of a fool when it came to God, tricked into hoping—praying—only to be turned away in the end.
Did he not believe in God enough, or would he have to get down on his hands and knees to beg for an unknown forgiveness?
Jason knew it would be pathetic for him to do it, to beg for the forgiveness of another father who abandoned him, but he would do it. He’d do it until the golden rosary cut into his hands, his knees had bruises, and his mouth ran dry from begging. He’d scream and cry for it if he had to.
He questioned if had sinned too much—If, in his initial hallowed anger, he had turned into Cain. Jason had offered the best of himself, but God had not favored him as he did others. The thought made him bitter. Jason knew it had to be a fault within him rather than God; that he didn't have the innate goodness he thought all people had. If he ever had it.
Each time he looked at the blood on his hands, Jason only thought of one thing, the noticeable absence of God.

Fandom: DC Comics, Batfam, YJ98
Summary: Tim Drake's friends and family all give their accounts of events leading up to Tim's hospitalization. In their attempt to piece together the cause, they realize his hospitalization was not accidental.
Chapters: 1/?
Characters: Tim Drake, Jason Todd, Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne
Additional Tags: Hurt Tim Drake, Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Hurt/Comfort, Angst, POV Multiple, Tim Drake-centric
Chapter One: The Accident (Jason's POV)
It was my fault. I should’ve stepped in when I saw how strange Tim looked. Seeing him caught me off guard. The wind whistled around my helmet as I swung from building to building, landing wherever I pleased. It was a strangely quiet night, crime-wise. Uncharacteristically crime free as traffic bustled beneath me. I would’ve turned in early had it not been for Tim. I spotted him from the skylight, jumping off a balcony in the Hilton. He was in his pajamas. His robe flew behind him like a cape, his slippers flew off his feet, and he landed through the awning, bouncing from there to a fruit stand and finally to the ground. I didn’t see anyone come to the window after him, so I watched from a distance as he stumbled into traffic.
My gut feeling told me something was wrong, but I didn’t listen. I watched as he ran down the street, and I followed from a distance, catching glimpses of him where I could. I should’ve made contact, but I didn’t. I stayed away, wondering where he was going and not caring about how his possible mental state. It was erratic behavior. He ran through the biting cold, grime, gunk, puddles, and piss in slippers. God, I should’ve stopped him . He swung his hands in front of his face as he ran down the sidewalk and into traffic. It took me off guard.
I never saw it coming. Tires screeched, horns blared, and time stood still. I didn’t have time to help Tim, but I saw it all happen in slow motion in my mind. Every detail perfectly and painfully cemented forever in my mind. I saw him stop cold in his tracks, his shoulders dropped, his legs stiffened, and his eyes… I’ll never forget his eyes. The defeated acceptance written all over his face, like the lights went out behind his eyes. He was dead before the car hit him, gone before his body hit the ground. It was the same way I felt before I died. I could almost feel the defeated pains in his chest and the uncomfortable slowing of his heartbeat.
His body bounced as it skidded across the ground. I could almost feel his bones breaking, his body bruising, skin tearing and burning, and road rash on his back, arms, and legs, and my body went cold. I never had a bond with Tim emotionally. We were brothers, but I never felt connected to him like a brother until that moment. I couldn’t scream. I felt the makings of a scream in my throat, but my body shut down. Running and shoving people out of the way to check Tim’s pulse. Blood on my hands and his pajamas. I couldn’t feel his pulse. Either it was weak, my hands were shaking, or he was dead. I did compressions and breaths until I heard him groan. I hadn’t said a word. “Oracle, I need an ambulance at my location,” I stated.
My voice felt detached from my body. I was so used to taking life that breathing it back into someone—. Breathing life into Tim shook me to my core. I wouldn’t let anyone touch him or move him until the ambulance arrived. I didn’t hear Barbara reply. I didn’t hear anything except for Tim’s weak and short, struggling breaths. He trembled as his clothes soaked through with blood and piss and rain. I wouldn’t let him move. “Don’t try to talk… Please, just—. Just stay still.” I frantically shook my head as he whimpered breathlessly, coughing and spitting up blood. I knew he punctured something by the way he struggled and gurgled. His crimson-stained teeth, the tears streaming down his cheeks, the—. God, I can’t say anymore. I can’t think of it anymore. They took him away in the ambulance, and I went home. I couldn’t follow Tim to the ambulance in costume, so I showered and switched into civvies before getting the hospital name from Barbara. I stopped in the parking lot, finally processing the horrific events that led me there. I made a noise in the back of my throat as I planted my hand against the wall. I almost threw up from the smell of exhaust. I couldn’t distinguish Tim’s trauma from my own at that moment. If Bruce hadn’t seen me outside and grabbed me, I would’ve stayed stuck in that moment.
Bruce touched my forearm. “What happened?” Bruce questioned.
I snapped to the present, gasping for air as I grasped at one of the many fleeting thoughts floating around in my head. “Tim,” I replied. I couldn’t say anything else. I couldn’t explain what happened without getting choked up.
“Let’s go inside. I have to see what’s going on with him,” Bruce whispered, “Can you hold it together?” He wasn’t attacking me. I could hear the gentle change in inflection as he asked me. I didn’t have a choice, though. I had to come in with him. I was the only one who saw what happened, and I was the one who saved him. I hated that I didn’t do better, but that was beside the point. I had to see how Tim was doing.
We stopped at the front desk and the nurse said some bullshit about visiting hours and family. I wanted to yank him over the desk, but Bruce stopped me. “Jason,” Bruce whispered, “Tim Drake. I was notified that he was in an accident. I’m his adoptive father, and this is his brother. We’re in a rush to hear about his condition. It’s nothing personal.”
The hell it wasn’t. He typed something into the computer, glancing at me as if I screwed his day up. “He’s in surgery,” the nurse answered.
“Is that all—?” Bruce took a breath to control his tone. “Is that all you know?” Bruce questioned.
“The operating surgeon would prefer to tell you herself,” the nurse answered.
My jaw tightened as I turned away from the desk. “Jason, take it easy—.”
“He can tell you. He’s just being a jerk about it,” I whispered, “I could kick—.”
“Jason, let’s sit down,” Bruce replied.
He leaned close to my ear and whispered, “Barbara’s hacking into the hospital’s database as we speak to see if he’s in the system.”
I followed him to the seats and shut my eyes as I tried to play everything back in my head. “Jason, what happened?” Bruce questioned.
“I can’t say for sure, but I think Tim wanted to—.”
Dick rushed in, and Bruce waved him over. Dick looked at me and squinted. “You were there?” Dick asked. Already accusing me .
“I didn’t—.”
“Don’t act like you aren’t capable of—.”
“I said I didn’t—. It’s my fault,” I confessed. I don’t know why I said it. Maybe I wanted everyone to blame me. Dick shook his head.
“No, it wasn’t. If you meant to hurt him, you wouldn’t have felt bad… Jason, what’s going on? What do you mean it’s your fault?” Dick asked.
“Tim was off… He—. I saw him before it happened. I followed him from the Hilton… And I kept my distance, but I should’ve known he wasn’t himself. I should’ve known Tim was—.” I couldn’t say it out loud. Not yet. Not without proof. But how could I get proof of his mental state?

March Monthly Roundup
A belated St. Patrick’s Day, and Happy Easter if you celebrate! Sadly, I had a busy March, so this month’s rec list is short and sweet!
BATFAM Too Close to Rotting to be Alive by alicecrow6 (gen), <1k, Damian Wayne-centric, Angst The thoughts of a rotting corpse not yet placed in his grave.
pull up the ladder when the flood comes by mintchocochips (gen), 4k, Cass Cain-centric Black Bat is operating in Hong Kong. Bruce is dead. A hell of a lot of people are dead. Cass is trying her damnedest not to drown. She doesn't want anyone else to drown either. She just wants to be good. She is maybe, just maybe, not okay.
charity by Valkrin (gen), 7k, Different First Meeting, Bad Parent!Drakes The biggest downside of being adopted by Bruce Wayne is putting up with rich people events, including one where Jason will be in a room with a bunch of rich kids for a couple very long hours while Bruce goes to the adults' meeting. Jason is ready for a very bad time but the Drake kid listens to him from the start and keeps backing up Jason's ideas even though they've never met. Jason warms up to Tim Drake long before Mad Hatter tries to take over the meeting and Tim backs him up again.
the picture frames have changed and so has your name by Zahri (gen), 24k, Case Fic, Hurt/Comfort There’s something wrong with Dick. Tim thought everything was getting back to normal. Bruce was alive and back in their timeline, the Birds of Prey were once again operating out of Gotham, Dick had the city well under control as Batman and even Damian had been less obnoxious than usual. And then during a firefight at a warehouse by the docks, Tim was almost hit by a flying boomerang. And Dick never noticed. When something is wrong with your big brother, who else do you turn to but your big sisters?
Fatherhood for Dummies by Havendance WIP, (gen), 6k, Batman Comics, POV Jack Drake When Tim runs away to No Man's Land, it takes Jack far too long to realize that he's gone. Once he does though, he'll do anything he can to get him back.
THE WITCHER Flung to Catch a Star by inexplicifics WIP, (Eskel/Geralt/Jaskier), 63k, Accidental Warlord AU      Morvran Voorhis, first-ranked prince of Nilfgaard, has been sent to Kaer Morhen on a diplomatic mission. His tasks are twofold: first, negotiate a nonaggression treaty between the wild barbarian Warlord of the North and the Nilfgaardian Empire. And second, ingratiate himself with the mysterious Warlord’s daughter and heir apparent, Princess Cirilla.      Sir Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach, a Vicovaran knight, has been assigned to protect young Prince Voorhis on this mission. Prince Voorhis may be the best of a bad lot, but Cahir’s still not looking forward to the threats or the temperature of a winter in the distant North.      They both know their mission is a dangerous one. But they don’t know where the true danger lies…and while they know how to navigate Nilfgaard’s treacherous court, they are not prepared for Kaer Morhen. This is a mission they might not survive…and if they do, they might be changed beyond all recognition.
HARRY POTTER Three Body Problem by cabezas_de_vaca (gen), 43k, Alternate Hogwarts House Sorting To the girl with the bushy hair and the hungry mind, the Hat says RAVENCLAW; To the boy with the scar and the ask of otherwise, the Hat says SLYTHERIN; To the sixth son who has already chosen the two others, from a chance encounter on a train, the Hat says HUFFLEPUFF; and Flitwick is delighted and Sprout is intrigued and Snape is resigned, to say the least. Or: Perhaps the trio is inevitable everywhere, but in this variation, none of them are in Gryffindor, and they do their best to build things anyway.
CROSSOVER While You Were Missing by basil_coffee_and White Collar x Batman (Jason Todd/Roy Harper), 23k, Accidental Baby Acquisition, Jason!Neal A familiar redheaded child darts across the bullpen with a shout of “PAPA!” and barrels into Jason’s arms. “Lian–” He breathes. Jason's undercover work as Neal Caffrey is difficult for several reasons. He didn't anticipate that single parenting would be one of them, though.

was just reading an ao3 tim drake-centric batfam fic that was linked onto someone’s blog here when tumblr glitched 😭 i cannot for the life of me find it, if anyone knows what i’m talking about, pleasepleaseplease send me the link or the title of it!!
basically, the batfam was hit by a meta/magic-user and all of their subconscious’s got sucked into books??? some kind of delusion based on books? idk idk, but basically, alfred manages to wake tim up first (tim was an encyclopedia? in an encyclopedia?) and he tries to wake up babs and gets sucked into her delusion/dream (she was a king (no surprise tbh) tim was a boy who thought a baby was his and a woman was arguing saying that he killed her son and replaced him or smth) basically he manages to wake her, washsoaprinserepeat the cycle w duke (who was in a textbook about the american constitution?), and then again w jason (was rhyming, poetry style), and bruce (was playing judge/prosecution and accusing jason of being a witch) (jason is also mentioned to be wearing a dress or smth) and then it glitched and i couldn’t read the rest. if anyone knows the fic i’m talking about, please let me know!!!
tldr; tim’s magical touch and logic>magic know-how helps bring the batfam out of delusions based on books/poetry/textbooks/weird-trial-dreams after they’ve been attacked by a meta/magic-user.
ps: this all occurred in a library (not sure if it’s gotham library cause why are they all there together??? but jason and bruce are trapped under a shelf initially, duke’s curled up on his own, and babs is somewhere near tim when he wakes up)

I remember this fanfic and I can no longer find it but, it was about Jon Kent getting a phone call from Damian telling him that he wants to end their relationship and than hangs up. Jon spent a good amount of the fic trying get over Damian. Jon hasn't seen Damian for awhile (for some reason I can't remember, I think he was going to drop off Damian's stuff) he goes to Wayne Manor. Jon tells Tim and the rest of the family that he and Damian broke up awhile ago and the family ask when was the last time he spoke to him and if he saw him, when Jon asks why they tell him that Damian has been missing. So now Jon helps the batfamily try and find Damian. It turns out Damian had been held captive by a cult and Jon saves damian. When they go back Damian is in the med Bay and tells Jon that he's sorry for worrying him and Jon feels bad because he wasn't worried, he was trying to get over his boyfriend that was being held captive. Damian tells Jon that he isn't mad and they're both happy in the end.

Also I need to know if there's any fics where Damian is tired of being rejected in the hero community and returns back to the league of assassins and comes back as a top assassin.
For a friend.
Bro, I love you, but I am the wrong blog to ask for Damian recs, may I direct you to some of my followers?

I need to write fanfic again but all my ideas are things I'm not confident in writing in english and I would likely not have an audience for in portuguese
