Juice, Love & Basketball, Friday, and many many more, you explaining all the lore to them while they have one arm rubbing up and down your back the other one in your humming and asking questions every now and then to show that they are listening and intrigued. — You're used to hearing them wandering around the room getting ready for work, and waking up usually waking up to the noise but today you didn't, matta fact .. you didn't even hear the alarm go off, you groan as you turn over to see that they are still asleep. You slide up behind them wiggling your “ice cold” toes between their calves and shake their shoulders to wake them up. They jump up with a quickness thanking you for waking them up, as they rush about trying to get ready, but ofc they cant forget to come back and give you your “see you later” kiss. [konoha,tendō, osamau, ukai, kenma] — ORRRR you're usually the one who gets up earlier than them but today is your day off so you're going to sleep in and get some extra sleep. They are tiptoeing around while getting ready trying not to wake or disturb you because you really need this sleep. They come back in the room and fix their side of the bed then coming to your side you read just you and your head scarf, kissing your forehead goodbye. They might have stood there watching you gravity towards their side of the bed and snuggle into their pillow.. But you can't prove it. [yakuu, saeko, asahi, koganwgawa] — Let's talk about how they hover around you when you're cooking not only because it smells good but you like to have them taste test the food. Coming around the corner, spoon in one hand while the other one is under the spoon catching anything that might fall, you hold their chin as you let them try the food. Even if they rain down praise on everything they taste and are truly no help, you still have fun as you dance around the kitchen with them. {they also try to sneak an extra taste while they think you're not pay attention but gets caught every single time} [hinata, hanamaki,atsumu, ninshinoya, daishō] — They’ve grown to love Sundays. The idea of cleaning and listening to music with you all day ??? sooo domestic. Yall typically split the cleaning, there are no specific “rolls” per say, yall just do what yall wanna do. You are always in charge of the playlist because you are having the bestest songs ever. Don't let Let's Groove by Earth, Wind & Fire play because clean????? When let's groove playing??? Ain't no way baby. [sakusa, yachi, kita, kai, takeda] — They've always come back to you with some new bruise or cut and insist that you are the one to take care of it because you're always gentle and kiss it to make them feel better quicker. And the products you use after you're done always smell really good!! When you're done they always say “I think i've got a cut on my lip too” [hinata, kageyama, kyōtani, lev, bokuto] — You always turn the air down when you want to cuddle with them because they always claim it's too hot and you just wanna cuddle and be comfortable. You're used to the air being at 70 but their not, so here they come with with sweatpants on 2 pairs of socks a hoodie with a shirt on and a blanket on their shoulders, demanding you give up some of your body heat [goshiki, tsukishima, futakuchi, tanaka, michimya]

— [ ] who likes to come find you, interrupting whatever you're doing to put you in his lap and make you touch your forehead with and stare into each other's eyes. Mostly to be annoying but they like to have your presence around them and don't know how to ask so they just .. yk. [kageyama, fukunaga, anoe, terushima] — They loveeee to come behind you while you're standing and wrap their arms around you holding you while swaying side to side. Most times they don't initiate a conversation, they either put that chin on your head or shoulder or bury their face into your neck. Smelling that scent of shea butter and whatever frit you decide you wanted to smell like. [daichi, kuroo, akaashi, ushijma, oikawa] — [ ] knows your orders for multiple fast food and restaurants. + all the lil specialties of is, such ass you liking a spicy chicken sandwich combo no sauce add mayo, chilled strawberry lemonade from popeyes. its second atp. you just tell them where you wanna eat and they take care or everything else. [aone,kenma, osamu, aran, suga] — Yall have dance battles at random ass times. R a n d o m ass times. Yall could be grocery shopping, you send him to go get something on the other isle, you'd hear a song yall both like over the intercom playing, and you immediately look towards the end of the isle to see them slide into just in time as yall start dancing towards each other, not caring who see you. [tanka, nishinoya, tendō,hanamaki,] — They see you do your skin care routine and decide that they wanna copy you because your skin is literally the softest skin he’s ever encountered. But he likes when you apply the product to his skin because their fingers are calluses from playing volleyball. Matching headband to pull you guys hair back. It's sooo cuteeeee ahh i'm in love. [oikawa, atsumu and osamu, sakusa,] — You said i love you first and freaked the absolute dogshit outta them. Frfr. baby was clutching them pearlsssss, didn't know what to say? What to do? Obviously he loves you too, more actually if you let him tell it but they are still in this state of pure shock. You would be panicking if they didn't already say it to you when you were “sleeping”. [ashai, yamamoto, yamaguchi, konoha, kita] — On the contrary they said it first … accidentally but they still said it first. Yall were probably doing so mundane shit and they was just thinking “damn i really fucking love them” except it wasnt in their head, it was definitely out loud. Out loud as in you could hear them out loud, you were shocked but said it back and continued on with what you were doing like you didn't just change their life for the better. [suga, semi, washio, iwazumi, yaku] — Now they had a whole plan set out. From the time you woke up until the time they decided it was best to say it. They act like the finna propose or sum. It's really nice you're not suspicious because it was date night. You cried or wtv, (it's not or wtv, it was that ugly cry. lip curled back, nose running, ya getting red inna face, hiccuping after every breath, they are concerned dd) anyways you eventually say it back because duh you love, like hello?? things they notice about you || misc. headcannons

Note: idk why but all my headcannons are haikuu but anyways

Sakusa notices when you buy drinks, specifically ones that need straws, like from a coffee stand, that you always take the wrapper off except for the very top part, as if you are being cautious that he might not want you to touch where he’ll be drinking from.

Atsumu notices when you cry, your eyelashes look so beautiful as they frame your eyes, and the warmth in your cheeks seems to fade hours later when you’re feeling better. He notices your sniffles, and how hard you try to cover them up, turning your face away as if you’re looking for something.

Iwazumi notices that when you cant keep still, you always find something to fiddle with. You especially seem to find a pen or pencil, and twirl it through your fingers. He notices the furrow in your brows every so often when the writing utensil falls from your hands and you try again.

Daichi notices that you hardly ever untie your shoes. By now your shoes are a little beat up, not entirely covered in dirt but enough to make the colors seem a little dull. The backs have scuff marks from all the times that you’ve slipped them off instead of trying to fumble with the laces.

Ushijima notices when you’re getting mad, how you take a deep breath in, chest rising with the action. How you tend to squeeze your eyes shut for a moment, before releasing the air, trying to clear your mind and shoo away the emotions. He notices when you purse your lips and clench your jaw, holding back what could be a scorching remark.

Bokuto notices that when you’re happy, you always start with a smaller smile, and your eyes get soft. You never seem to know what to do with your hands, unless you’re taking his own hands and intertwining your fingers together, or throwing your arms around him for a hug.

Kuroo notices when your social battery starts to run low, how you always seem to find a way to distract yourself. Playing on your phone, spacing off and staring at something small. You tend to bring yourself back to reality, bringing your eyes to his and give a silent plea, asking to be taken home, but you never want to say it out loud, and risk hurting anyone else’s feelings.

Aone notices that when you first wake up in the mornings, your eyes open halfway, and you have to blink a few times. You always roll over into your side to look at him, before slowly sitting up, stifling a large yawn. You never seem able to form words in the mornings, and instead choose to sit silently as you process the unfortunate news that is waking up.

Sawamura Daichi:

Daichi noticed that he fell in love while laying in his bed one night alone. His thoughts raged in the cold winter night as he shivered and clung to any warmth he could get, brain racing for a reason he couldn't explain. But then his thoughts drifted to you and he couldn't shake how much he wanted you to be cuddled into him in that moment. His heart crashed like the snow on the weighted branches outside finally winning its battle and he realized he had fallen in love. He was going to be your disney prince and you would be his spoiled princess even if it took another winter to get you there. (Spoiler. It didnt. )

Koutaro Bokuto:

Sitting alone at lunch one day was when Bokuto realized he was in love. Akaashi was home sick and you weren't there because of one reason or another and it gave him time to think, something he normally didnt indulge himself in very often when others were around. His thoughts started with pouting because he was alone and slowly built into him being upset because you werent there specifically. Suddenly a random thought of "I love you y/n please come back. It's boring without you. " made it's way into his head and everything felt like it made sense. He rushed to text you to meet him somewhere ASAP so he could confess. Now that he understood what he felt, he wasn't letting you go.

Toru Oikawa:

Oikawa was semi-aware the whole time that something about you was different, but when he accidentally confessed over a sleepy text he figured it out for sure. It was probably 2 or 3 am before a really stressful game and he was texting you for comfort and support that you were willingly giving him, and you told him to go to bed so that he had enough energy for his match. He texted back -mhmm. I will. Love you so much y/n- and promptly fell asleep happy. He freaked out the next morning when he saw the text, but it helped him put together the pieces. He won that game for you and confessed after the correct way, picking you up and spinning you when you agreed.

Wakatoshi Ushijima:

Someone had to point it out to this poor boy. Ushijima was never good with feelings in the slightest, so he confided in his best friend Tendou when he started feeling different around you. He honestly avoided you for a little while unintentionally because of it. He didnt understand why his heart did flips in his chest whenever you gave him that special smile of yours. It wasn't that he was dumb, it was that he had always assumed he was aromantic since he had never felt like he was in love before. Once Tendou pointed out and explained what love truly felt like, he texted you to meet him at the park, planning to confess that day. Once he understood love- he understood you were the only love for him.

Tetsuro Kuroo:

He noticed it when he found himself glaring jealously at Lev trying to flirt with you. He didn't notice he was glaring until Yaku pointed it out and wacked him on the back saying "man up and ask them out or I wont stop him next time" before walking over to the two of you and dragging Lev away by the shirt to practice. Tetsuro found himself sitting alone the next day and still thinking about the advice of his friend, and eventually after about a week of ignoring everyone and trying to sort his feelings out he asked you out over text. Poor dork did it using a meme too :[[ <3

Snow Day!!

We got some snow where I live (and I'm finally out of my slump) so here are some Haikyuu characters enjoying a Snow Day!!

Kageyama and Hinata try to play volleyball but the cold makes it hard for Kags to use his hands (he refuses to touch the ball through gloves) so they go insane and start a snowball fight that turns into an all out war.

Tsukki is making snow-men. Yamaguchi helps him. They make snow-man versions of the entire team and send pictures to the rest of the team.

Noya and Tanaka find Kageyama and Hinata and join the war efforts. They text the other 2nd years for re-enforcments (Who show up with sleds to use as shields).

The third years show up to watch some of the war, but leave for Suga's house to drink hot chocolate and watch a movie.

Asahi falls asleep at Suga's house and Daichi wakes him up by dumping a bucket of snow on his head while Suga records it.

Asahi catches a cold from his wet hair, so the team shows up at his house to caroll him back to health (Nishinoya's idea). Asahi's parents have to shoo the team from their property.

I was planning to post more over break but kind of did the complete opposite. Consider this an apology. :)

How the boys react when they fart around you.

part 2

A/n: there's a headcannon thats how the boys react when you faint in front of them, by @haikyuu-philia but every time I glance at it, I think it says fart instead of faint. And then I thought how would they react if they fart. Anyways, this might break my writers block.

Tsum tsum: he would trap you under the blanket and laugh. Those siblings tendencies never die.

Hinata: would crop dust you, 100% and just go on with his day. It's a normal body function and he wouldn't think twice

Bokuto: would turn away from you and fart, his sister taught him its not nice to fart on others. On the plus side, he always says excuse me.

Daichi: absolutely embarrassed. Like he knows it's normal, but he's embarrassed. Red face, refuses to meet your eye.

Sugawara: farts on you and then looks you in the eye and says "we're close now."

Kita: I was going to say he never farts, but you know what, he has the stinkiest farts of them all. He tries not to do it around others, but you know they sometimes slip out. He does have the decency to excuse himself though.

Kuroo: runs to the bathroom anytime he has to fart. Refuses to fart around others.

Oikawa: has the loudest farts right after he wakes up, but other than that he doesn't fart.

Iwa: once in a blue moon, when he's not feeling well. And they always stink.

Matsukawa: does that thing where he farts and cups it, and puts on someone. He does it to his siblings a lot, and they GAG.

Hanamaki: rarely farts, but when he does it's the like continous motorboat ones?? Sometimes it's funny. Won't lie.

Kenma: silent farts that stink up the room and gag anyone walking in, but only when he's super anxious

Kageyama: very dainty farts. And he always turns red in the face. Tries to pretend that it didn't happen.

-I was skeptical at first that some time fuckery would happen after they got home but after the blacksmith said "when" instead of where, I'm thinking a few months have passed.

- We missed out on human heater Yang in Atlas, so team cuddle pile in the cold desert night

- Weiss is STRUGGLING in the Vacuo heat. Vale was temperate and Mistral was probably a little warm but Vacuo is the complete opposite climate from Atlas.

- Assuming Yang has a ponytail, everytime she uses her semblance and her hair catches fire, her hair tie burn burns away. So there's just a running gag where she constantly has to put her hair back up after a fight.

- Bonus to previous: Yang never remembers to bring extra hair ties so Weiss and Blake usually have extras on them.

Not that he won't do stuff like bringing an extra sweater because you get cold easily or cooks in nights when you are really tired and just wants to be pamper with love from him. HQ!! Types of friends || misc headcanons

Based on actual things I've done with my friends cause it's the little things in life <3

Ft. Atsumu, Kenma, Tsukishima, Akaashi, Bokuto, Daichi, Terushima, Oikawa, and Nishinoya

Atsumu is the one who has a water balloon fight with you, in your front yard, at 10pm. You were supposed to have it earlier, but the day had other plans. But when he saw you feeling bummed about it, he took the initiative to fill the balloons and put them outside for you two. Sure it was cold, but the way you two were laughing your asses off as you tried to hit each other, and failed half the time because of how dark it was? A memory you won't ever forget.

Kenma who calls you at 9:30pm, asking if you'd want to come over and play games with him. Sometimes the night consists of the two of you playing some multiplayer game together, while other nights are spent sitting quietly as you both try to complete your own games. When you stay over a little too late, he'll say that it's okay if you just crash there. And if you're the type who doesn't sleep until it's technically morning, just like him, the two of you will scrounge around the kitchen finding odd snacks for 4am, like left over pizza for kenma, and two uncrustables for yourself.

Tsukishima isn't one to be overly affectionate to his friends, everyone already knows this. But you easily notice that it's the little things that show he cares. Something he does often, is recommending movies or tv shows that he enjoyed, hoping that you'd like them too. He will usually wait a few days before asking if you watched them yet, and to ask what you thought about them. He likes to make sure that you enjoyed what he recommended, and of course it makes him feel better knowing that he's still up to date with the things you like.

Akaashi is the type of friend who will let you randomly come over, sprawl across his bed and just talk about your day. He likes to watch you recount your adventures, finding it funny how animated you can be while storytelling. Occasionally he'll add his own anecdotes, granted they're a lot less flashy, but it always brings your mood up just hearing about his day. At a point, he makes sure to have 'your spot' on his bed clear of anything that could get in your way, and even bought extra blankets for you to use while you're there.

Bokuto always gives you the biggest bear hugs when he sees you, as long as you let him do so that is. It doesn't matter if it's been a few weeks or a few days since he saw you last. He wraps strong arms around you, nearly squeezing the life out of you as he lifts you from the ground, a boisterous and infectious laugh that will rumble through his chest each and every time he does this. One time, when he went on a particularly long trip, he left you with a sweater of his, saying something about how hopefully it would take the place of his hugs until he came back.

Daichi is the friend who tries new recipes with you. If you're craving something, he'll find the recipe online, and go buy the ingredients. You take turns on whose kitchen you use, but you always cook them together. There's always a good mix of your favorite music artists, resulting in small dance parties while you wait for your food to cook. For the most part, you two wind up with a delicious meal or snack, but there have been times when something doesn't come out right, and you have to brainstorm on who to give the leftovers to.

Terushima goes on late night drives with you. If it's nice enough, the windows are rolled down, and the music is just slightly too loud to have any sort of conversation with him. Sometimes he's a little scary of a driver, in his words "the curbs just jump out at me sometimes" but regardless, you'll always think fondly of how terrible of singers you both are, though neither of you care that much. Sometimes, when you're feeling extra dubious, he comes up with the scheme of stealing a lone traffic cone, which has resulted in his room having two or three of the things.

Oikawa hates house sitting alone. He honestly just hates being alone in the first place, which is why you're the first of his friends that he reaches out to. He makes sure to tell whoever it is that he's watching the house for that you'll be there, and by now they've come to remember your name. Sometimes you two don't even do anything while you're there, but the comfort in knowing that neither of you are alone in an unfamiliar place is always welcome. On top of that, he likes to joke about how similar house sitting together is to if you'd be roommates. Slightly messy living room, sleepovers in your not so far rooms, and plenty of movie nights.

Nishinoya goes ghost hunting with you. He's practically the only one of your friends who even agrees to go. He'll help research any supposedly haunted areas in your town, and do his best to exaggerate the details in an attempt to scare you. While you're out on an adventure, he'll be sure to make sure he's prepared with all of the necessary items, flashlights, snacks, bandaids, some sort of protective ward, random coins to leave as gifts for the spirits. You love seeing how invested in the activity he gets, and how eventually he's the one inviting you to go out and explore.
