when did you watch bad buddy/join the fandom?

watching bad buddy was the first thing i did this year and it didn’t take me long after to make this blog. it hit me so unbelievably hard, i was reeling, i’m still reeling. i know i’m preaching to the choir but for me it’s unlike anything i’ve loved before. i had been out of fandom for like. almost ten years. before bbs (and a small handful of other beloved thai bls) yanked me back in

favorite ship(s)

well you know. the obvious one. inkpa too OF COURSE. waikorn cracks me up even if i’m a nonbeliever. i loved whatever was happening between pat, pran, phupha, and tian. and i also love, in a platonic way, pran’s dynamic with ink (he makes fun of her bracelet/fakes her out by saying he also liked her…as a friend. it’s very endearing very sibling-in-law) and pran’s dynamic with pa (in bbs but also in bbsos2)

favorite character(s)

god how to choose between pat and pran. they are both characters of all time. well-developed with idiosyncrasies and penchants for lying and performing and slipping into roles and reversing roles. especially when they’re with each other of course. i might choose pran simply because i see more of myself in pat if that makes sense

favorite episode(s)

it’s probably episode 5, or episode 11. both these episodes just take everything out of me. you know why. runners up: episode 3 and episode 12. this is hard to pick because there is not a single episode i wouldn't enjoy (lol) randomly rewatching. all bangers no skips

favorite scene(s)

i love the scene in episode 4 of pat telling pran his dimples are cute. episode 5 fight scene my beloved. then there's the entirety of the bet era like aside from how perfect it is for pat and pran…it’s just peak romance, peak build-up, such a pleasure to watch. i reeeeeally do love the fantasy sequence of pat and pran eating dinner with pran’s parents in episode 11, i’m fascinated by it in a meta sense but also it hurts so good. i like ming and dissaya hearing pat and pran laughing and singing together in pran’s room in ep12 and being utterly powerless to stop it. it’s like, the show didn’t necessarily need all of ep 12, but it was such a welcome and fitting epilogue to these beloved characters and their love. pat and pran are gonna be alright...

one thing you would change about the show if you could

i really appreciate all of its imperfections honestly but. it would have to be the aftermath of wai outing pat and pran. even in my first watch it was a head scratcher that pran was expected to be the one apologizing. it just didn’t add up. there was a weight behind what was happening that the show didn’t realize. i can rationalize it and explain it away to make wai somewhat less heinous in universe but it really should have been treated as what it was: an outing. also yes let ink and pa kiss.

what are your some of your favorite fanworks made by other people?

you know i’m a sucker for @kit-teung's art

and for @hereforlou's art. pure domestic bliss that pat and pran have EARNED. this is the fanart reimaginings they deserve. also i love their little cowlicks

@miscellar's meta series the comprehensive shrek breakdown of pat and pran's story in our skyy (particularly for ep3 which i linked). i was in the trenches those two weeks in late may/early june and these posts (and their dms) were my guiding light...all of miscellar's meta is extremely baller and forever on the bbs 101 syllabus in my mind. and for some reason i’m waiting to read more bad buddy fanfiction until after i finish my own BBS fic but I’m excited to read their zombie patpran. so it gets an honorable mention here + they get so many anons singing its praise like i literally can't wait

also I’m not on Twitter much at all but the other day I read @dimplesandfierceeyes's pinned thread and listen it got me through the day. just read it if you haven't.

@transpat's "pre-relationship patpran and haq" post about the unspoken entitlement they entrust each other with. a deep dive into their pre-relationship dynamic. it's so good. an all-time bbs meta

(if you create fanworks) what are your favorite fanworks that you’ve made?

my favorite bbs fanwork I’ve made is the unreleased patpran timeloop WIP that has been burning a hole in my gdocs for the past month. i’m having so much fun writing it but wow it’s also driving me up the fucking wall (affectionate)

i also really enjoyed all the meltdowns in the tags/notes when i posted this about that ep11 scene i love. and then this is my love letter to bbs, i think it still holds up idk my bbs os2-induced manic episode is all a blur.

Hello, first i want to say your art is so pretty! Joker P5 my beloved... second, I was wondering how you draw Joker, specifically his hair? It looks so good in every drawing you do, but no matter how hard I try mine always looks weird... do you have any references or steps you use?

Text if you can't read my writing:

1: Pointy.

2: I like drawing the cowlick. Shapes.

3: (Bad practice. You should draw the eyes first.) Fringe goes more down than across.

4: Fringe in middle of face goes below eye level. Eyelashes. Eyebrows + top of glasses frames mostly hidden.

Image 2: I tend to fill in internal detail of the hair later, if at all -- I think if you're trying to make a character recognisable, shape is the #1 thing.

Also your sketch is not the boss of you. I fixed a lot of things drawing that.

(Note: This is the short answer. There's a long one if anyone cares.)

you do kinda gotta remember i draw joker A Lot like A Lot A Lot for this blog. the first joker i ever drew is only from like three months ago and i look at it and go thats not my guy.

there is a longer answer to do with different artists and styles and presentation of joker, as well as drawing him with the mask and stuff about drawing characters from visual media in general, but ive already said enough words to not continue without further prompting

I gotta say, I LOVE ur Cherished, Daring and Beloved outfit designs, eveyone feels so unique, especially when some characters share a colour scheme or are matching on a team! Are there any particular design thoughts that came to you for anyone on the teams?

(Mainly I'm asking about your most favourite or memorable since asking for design notes on eveyone could. Take a while lmao)

THANK YOU. I don't really have anything noteworthy for Cherished save for them just having simplistic outfits as ref to Sailor Moon.

For the Daring I know I wanted to make their outfits very ice cream based so they are my personal favorites because I think they have the most clever ones thematically.

And the Beloveds, I really like their headphones since I just think headphoned characters are neat and slept on in character designs. I also wanted them each to have unique wings because the Beloveds are meant to be a team of colorful personalities which is why they each have the most drastic differences in outfits between members compared to the other two main magical girl teams.

The headphone wings also double as ears since they are meant to be inspired by Tokyo Mew Mew and all those girls have animal features. That's also why they don't have the iconic "Magical girl bow on chest" since, at least in the original series, the Mew Mews don't have bows, they have little pendants.

If we have to talk a specific character, Sweetheart will always take the cake because she has my favorite design and I love that I managed to give her a tail while also not giving her a tail (her long af back bows) as well as giving her a heart shaped cowlick. She shares the curse Jack has of "weirdly specific strands of hair to show they are the protagonist of their stories".

OVER ALL THOUGH-I very much wanted some magical girl outfits that screamed magical girl but also didn't come across as mocking magical girls like some of the outfits in series that make parodies of them. BASICALLY I wanted to make them as genuine as I could since I do want Glitter and Guilt to be a genuine series that doesn't make fun of the magical girls and shows appreciation to them and what I love about the genre.

Summary: Delicate strains of music can carry the weight of emotions Diluc won't admit to feeling far better than words ever could, calling to Childe like a sailor to a siren's song. But that won't stop him from returning Diluc's affection in his own manner - he's always been given to physical displays anyway.

"Every child born to Mondstat can play at least one instrument. It's supposed to be a way to gain Barbatos's favor," Diluc explained, lowering his violin from his chin. He gestured towards Childe with the bow. "What about you? Can you play anything?"

Childe shook his head again, his messy curls bouncing. Bed head mussed them even further than usual, a cowlick driving up the entire left side. Cute. "I sang songs with my mother and my siblings sometimes, but that's about as much musical experience as I have. I bet you could teach me though!"

Diluc grimaced as an image of Childe raking his bow across the stings of his antique violin surfaced in his mind's eye. "That will not be happening."

"Aww. Not even if I say please?" Childe stepped into him, batting his eyelashes as he draped an arm around Diluc's neck, fingers curling into the fine hairs that escaped his ponytail at the base of his neck.

Heat flooded Diluc's face and he swallowed thickly, holding himself stiff against Childe's embrace. Damn him, he knows just how to play up his charm. "No," he answered flatly, and Childe snorted, planting a kiss against his cheek before pushing away from him.

"You're no fun." He didn't seem particularly bothered by Diluc's surly demeanor, hopping up cheerfully to sit on Diluc's desk, but then he'd had a lot of practice managing his lover’s moods by now. The frown that curved Diluc's plush lips was almost a pout, and that glower only meant Childe's teasing was hitting its mark. "What were you doing anyway? Communing with the Anemo Archon through song or something? I didn't interrupt your morning prayers, did I?"

The grimace that earned him was real, Diluc's brow pinching in that adorable way that made Childe want to smooth it with his thumbs. "No. I play for myself. ...I find it soothing," he admitted grudgingly.

Childe's expression softened, the teasing light in his eyes fading into true affection. "Would you play for me? I'd like to hear the end of the song."

Happy birthday to my beloved grump. You can deny what you feel all you want, but it's not going to stop Childe from loving you -- and it won't stop me either ♡

They were on a family vacation, the two of them sitting by the pool in their luxurious French resort. Claire and Jill were both in the water, splashing and chatting away as girlfriends did, but Chris's mind was elsewhere, plagued over the question that had been agonizing him forever. Piers was his boyfriend, he loved him more than anything and he wanted to make it official. He wanted matching wedding bands, he wanted Piers to have his last name, he wanted a house, a white picket fence, kids, the entire suburban happy ending with his beloved sniper. His own fear of rejection and humifaction held him back, it wasn't something he talked about, his confidence in every aspect of his life had always been admirable, and yet he secretly had issues with his sexuality and intimacy. Trauma from what had happened years prior, and even if he should be over it, the memory still stung, and the idea of Piers looking upon him the same way his ex lover had when they both were discharged was too much to bear.

Of course Piers noticed, the younger man spent his entire life watching his back, reading his face, his gestures, his mind. He knew him better than most people, Jill was possibly the only one who outranked him in such an area, so when Chris sat by the pool, eyebrows furrowed whilst thinking about the ring in his suitcase while his three companions enjoyed the poolside bar and weather, it wasn't surprising that Piers, soaking wet slotted himself by him and made the most innocent and sweetest of observations.

Their eyes lock, and Chris finds his worries washed away from the gorgeous hazel hues. His guilt leaping forward over the fact that they were in France and he was acting like a reclusive asshole when he should be enjoying his time. He'd ask Claire about popping the question later that night, her advice was always so solid, and she would know if Piers would say no or not, the two kept in constant contact. A smile curves onto his lips, and without warning, he scoops Piers up, pulling the sniper into his lap, their chests pressed tightly together, as his fingers card through Piers's wet hair, chuckling as it refuses to stay down due to the cowlicks. " You're right. I'm sorry. I just have a lot on my mind, I promise I'll be more considerate and put it away until we're home. I want to enjoy this time with you. " His eyes glance around for a moment, before he lets his palms grab handfuls of his boyfriend's rear, squeezing the wet trunks and grinning once he got the reaction he wanted from him. " We have a week and a half to enjoy the pool... I noticed last night how nice our room is. Want to ditch them for a bit? " He asks, nodding towards Claire and Jill who were notably not looking at them. " There are things I want to do to your ass that would be frowned upon if I did them here, and believe me, I'm ten seconds away from ripping these trunks off you and devouring your hole right here and now. " Darting his face up, he pecks Piers on the nose, affection and devotion dancing in his gaze despite the lustful words he had offered. " What do you say? Want to head upstairs and be my perfect boy? "

having the two nerds that die be the first singers we see is such good foreshadowing actually,,, you know from the first moment they start to experience a change in their lives after max kicks the bucket that they're doomed, and the first act shows you that right away. none of the other kids in the first song are injured by max, just richie and ruth.

lauren doesn't have her headgear in High School Is Killing Me, which is a bit confusing, but i think it's so her voice is clearer in the first song

also i love ruth's sweater? i'd totally wear that irl

grace looks utterly deranged in every song because she doesn't drop that fuckin SMILE the whole time i love her so much

i love the "AUGH" chorus after "it's one hell of a normal abnormality"

someone brought this up before i noticed it, but grace is the only one to cover her mouth during any iteration of "i'm so fucking dead", which is so swag actually... it fits the choreo while also showing that she's super averse to cursing (initially)

knowing that ruth's first canonical debut on stage (canonical in the Workin' Boys short film, at least) involved her forgetting her only line bc of stage fright makes me so sad... she does have a lot of talent, but her anxiety about being watched and judged scares her from the stage. it takes failing once to get over that fear, but even then, it leaves a lasting worry that you'll fail again.

on that note: ruth being so conscious of her appearance and personality that she's terrified of her own future. she's afraid that the best parts of her future will be centered around making other people happy, and never about what makes her happy. she's afraid that she'll get married to someone who doesn't care for her. (or worse, someone who has taboo desires, because who else would take her but those who want to use her as a diversion? the "maury prefers their kids" line after the pool is mentioned makes my skin crawl for ruth.) "well done on the outside, not within" "should i let the coals burn out" "should i let the years cook my body down" she's horrified of the future she feels she's destined for. she has so many dreams, but she feels like she isn't able to - or allowed - to pursue them.

i'm gonna be skipping ruth's death scene because it actually makes me feel sick... half because it's a form of torture that actually makes me feel nauseous (getting split from the crotch upwards) and half because it's happening to a character who's living an experience i've had in the past (feeling unworthy of pursuing something you love)

it's super obvious that shapiro is waiting to catch grace in a lie, which makes her interrogation of grace super funny in hindsight. she KNOWS this perfect christian girl is bullshitting her and blatantly lying about the deaths. i can only imagine how vindicated she felt when grace immediately crumpled under the pressure

bringing up the honey queen Mrs. Lauter theory again because how else would the lauters have the black book? i know that linda's family is the one in charge of the festival, but the mayor obviously has some sway in it as well. he probably acts as the warden for the book in most timelines, because if it was in the hands of the church itself, they'd be trying to summon gods every damn day. he keeps the church under control, allowing them one day a year to summon the only god that is the easiest to pacify. he probably proved his worth by convincing his wife to pursue the honey queen title, knowing full well what would happen to her, because he needed to give up something to show he could be trusted. (i also think this is why nibbly singles steph out when they first meet. he's already tasted lauter blood, and he likely recognizes her as the daughter of the man who facilitates his resurrection every year.)

AGAIN: the waylons made sure the spell was cast on the house, but the spell wasn't TRIGGERED until max died there. more proof that the waylons aren't ghosts, but that they were intended to be the ghosts.

returning to the honey queen lauter theory again: imagine how heartbroken steph is after all of her parental figures have died. her mom isn't around by NPMD, and during the show, her stand-in stepmom and her dad both die. she's technically an adult by the time of NPMD, but she's still lost all of her remaining family in one night.

i'm glad that they were able to convince shapiro about max at the last second, but damn, how fucked up is it that you learn that the current suspects of a homicide case are being haunted by a spirit that's been picking them off one by one, only for said spirit to slam your face through your fucking windshield. you survive the incident, somehow, but now you know that hatchetfield is haunted and you nearly became a victim.

i talked about the LiB and their altars at the very beginning of my NPMD fixation so i'm not gonna repeat it here :PP bleh

i am gonna mention that i love the designs of the LiB tho! they're so neon and goofy, they have little props that show who they are, it's so cute nibbly has his lollipop (which happens to look pretty fleshy, like a twirled up intestine), pokey has his mask, blinky has his sunglasses, tinky has his Bastard Box, and wiggly has a plush of himself + a crown that indicates his place in the hierarchy

the hair touch when steph starts to realize that pete is the thing she desires most... chills

also someone mentioned that in the digital ticket, steph fully collapses during "stephanie has got a gun", and i can definitely see that in the proshot too! it isn't seen in full, but her posture definitely slumps something fierce between shots

and what if i cried? huh? what if i burst into tears knowing that pete was resigned to dying to save steph's life? that he openly admits to loving her more than the stars in what he thinks is his final moments? that he thought he wouldn't make it to homecoming, and that steph would live on knowing that she would carry the blood of her true love on her hands?

literally if max hadn't intervened, steph would've lost her soulmate. imagine how horrifying that is for her. she would've lost everyone important to her in one fell swoop. her family. her friends. her love. it would've broken her.

pete reeling up to throw what should've been a devastating right hook to protect steph, only to get knocked aside by max's otherworldly power

and then we get the absolute whiplash of grace fucking a ghost

SPEAKING OF WHICH bro!!! angela put her whole christianussy into that performance. grace knew she had one chance to seduce max into taking what she cherished most and she thought "welp. might as well open up all the repression i've shoved into this box"

you can see the moment where steph and pete realize what grace did, even if it's out of frame in the proshot. steph whips around to look up at pete, while pete seems to stumble back a bit. when their faces are in frame again, they both look quietly concerned for grace, like they're trying to process what she gave up for their sake.

the shot of max looking up at the lights, eyes and makeup perfectly illuminated as he witnesses (what can only be) the true forms of the Lords In Black - creatures which he didn't even know existed, considering their involvement was very distant in max's resurrection... CHEF'S KISS

(for example: jon has mentioned he played Inevitable in TGWDLM two different ways. he either plays it like paul isn't infected, but is trying to convince emma to fake it with him so they don't get force-infected... or he plays it like paul is truly dead, and he's part of the hivemind. the proshot version of TGWDLM is a case of the latter, where paul truly was infected.)

OKAY YALL THEORY TIME

So the new episode of the owl house came out, and OH BOY THERE IS A LOT. So I’ve taken it upon myself to make my first speculation post. Namely about Philip Wittebane.

Note that a lot of this is going off of the theory that Belos is Philip Wittebane, and is also gonna be kind of messy.

First Things First

We now know that two humans travelled to the Boiling Isles together and we know that one of these humans was named Philip Wittebane. The other, his brother, is currently unnamed so I’ll just be calling him brother for right now.

From what I’ve determined, Philip is the man on the right and brother is the man on the left. And before I get into anything else, I’d like to point out how they’re portrayed here. Brother is most likely older, or at least the leader of the two. He’s taller, even with one of his knees bent, he’s shown to be the one shaking hands with the witch, and he’s always in front of Philip. From this, I think that he was seen as more successful or perhaps more beloved than Philip? I may be jumping a bit, but from what I can see, he keeps on being the put first in both statues and drawings of the two.

So, what is brother’s relevance to the story now?

The big question is why Philip had never mentioned brother in his writings. Yes, our information on the entires are limited, but even in the first one we saw, the first entry, Philip never mentions him.

“My name is Philip Wittebane, and I have found myself in a world so horrid, yet so fantastic.”

This implies a couple of things.

Something happened between them and Philip became angry or upset with his brother, and decided to leave him out of his entries entirely.

They were separated when they had gotten trapped and only reunited later on (or maybe not at all).

Brother was somehow left in the human world, while Philip was trapped alone in the Boiling Isles.

Based on the evidence we have, I’d say that they’re equally likely, although I’m leaning towards the first or second one. Based on some lines from the curator, it implies they were both trapped in the demon realm.

What it has to do with Hunter

So, what does this have to do with Hunter? Well, look closely at hunter at the statue. Their noses are identical. This isn’t some mere coincidence either, this was an intentional detail they added. We already know about Hunter’s resemblance to Belos, that one is obvious, but if Belos really is somehow related to the brothers, then he would definitely resemble brother even more. They’ve got the same cowlick, for Pete’s sake!

This brings me to the Grimwalker situation.

It’s entirely possible that Hunter is a Grimwalker. The eyes are a distinctive marker and we already know that Belos is capable, and willing to, create sentient life (see Vee for example). So the idea that he would try to do the same with a witch/human child isn’t all that far out there. I believe that he may be a Grimwalker of brother. The nose, the hair, it all matches up. This would also explain why Hunter refers to Belos as uncle instead of father.

Okay now that that’s out of the way, let’s get to the orange circles.

Brother had a palismen before?? Possibly little rascal??? Perhaps this is why Rascal chose Hunter as his new witch and has refused to leave since. And even if that’s no Rascal and is just some bird, you can’t deny the clear tie between brother and cardinals.

Philip appears to be holding a piece of paper with a symbol of some sort on it. Could it possibly be a glyph? I can’t imagine what else it could be, but it doesn’t seem to resemble any of 5he glyphs we’ve seen thus far.

So from the information we’ve got so far, the way I see this going is that, sometime in late season 2b, it is revealed that Hunter is a Grimwalker. Whether it be Luz, as the protagonist, connection the dots or Hunter himself is still unclear, but it will be revealed none the less. This causes Hunter to go into and even further downward spiral as his whole existence is out into question. He’s already do horribly, and to find out he’s not even technically a real person would be shattering. Some time later, perhaps in season three perhaps in late season 2b, it would be revealed who he’s a Grimwalker of, and thus be revealed who Belos is. I can’t really work out the specifics, since that’d be jumping to far, but this is sort of the general idea I see this going in if it is true.

But What About…

The noses. The damn noses.

The noses don’t match up. Something that has stayed so consistent so far. This surely disproves the “Belos is Philip” theory, right?

WRONG

Take a look at where the bump on Belos’ nose is. It stars and ends on the massive green scar that goes across his face. And we already know that the scar is deforming him, since he’s got holes in his face and neck. It is entirely possible that the bump is simply a red herring and is caused by the curse. Therefore, the theory still stands and is entirely possible.

And before any of y’all come into my notes talking about the ears, I want you to look me in the eyes and tell that those are genuine witch ears. We’ve seen what elderly witch ears look like, and that ain’t it. Elderly witch ears and big and long and droop at the ends, as seen near the end of episode 5 season 2. Belos’ ears are small and point upright. They aren’t even the same shape as witch ears. Heck, they’re smaller than human ears are! They look like someone took a pair of scissors and tried to do they’re own DIY elf ears. And that probably is what happened! So I don’t wanna see a single comment on the ears.

She had no name, but this was not so strange a thing. Her father called her Daughter and she called him Father, on the days when they bothered to use words at all. Once, when the world was newly made, her father had danced through the Narnian skies, fleet of foot and bright of spirit; the creatures of the earth had called him Ramandu, then.

Daughter had been young when her father had grown weary of the skies and been carried to his island to rest. She had scarcely been beyond the nebula-nurseries of her birth; certainly, she had never been noticed by even the most meticulous stargazers below, and thus she had never been named. As short as her time in the heavens had been, Daughter knew what it was to be a star. She did not miss it, but sometimes she longed for it.

As I said, it mattered little that she had no name. Daughter was name enough.

It was difficult, later, to say how long she lived with her father there at the beginning of the end of the world. Time passed slowly, rhythmically, like waves lapping at a shore. The number of sunrises she greeted did not well correspond to her maturity. Perhaps it is best to say that by the time the Dawn Treader arrived on the island, she knew a great deal of the world and very little of its people.

Daughter would say later that she loved Caspian at once; this was a half-truth. When she heard the young king say, Lady, I hope to speak with you again, she felt a surge of fierce affection for his sweet, fumbling earnestness. Affection turned to joy when he returned to the island and made good on his word, and soon sweetened to love.

What is your name? asked the king. Caspian and Daughter were sitting together by the shore of the island, watching the sun set in the distant West. Her hand was in his, and his thumb rubbed slow circles across her knuckles.

My name is Daughter, she replied, but you must not call me that.

What, then?

What am I to you?

Beloved, whispered the king.

They were quiet after that, Caspian and his Beloved. She did not know what he was thinking, but she enjoyed the way he looked at her.

He asked her to marry him two days later. He was faltering, earnest, and she loved him for it. When she told him yes, he beamed.

And so it was that Beloved left her father behind, and the birds, and the singing, and the sunrise. She moved into the quarters that had been the Lady Queen’s, and she saw Caspian every day. Rynelf taught her how to trim a sail and called her Lady Star. Drinian showed her the Dawn Treader’s navigation instruments, and Beloved taught him the names of stars he had never seen before. Navigatrix, he called her.

Caspian called her many things, but Beloved was his favorite. Sometimes, when she was at her happiest, she called him You who my soul loves. Caspian would beam and run his hands along her fingers, or else he would chuckle and kiss her. You are altogether beautiful, my love, he would say, there is no flaw in you.

When they dropped anchor in the Lone Islands, Caspian took supper with the Duke and Beloved accompanied him. When they arrived at Bern’s residence, Caspian began to introduce her. My fiancé, he began, then paused. I am Lady Star, Beloved cut in. Bern clasped her hand in greeting. You are very welcome, my lady, he said.

Narrowhaven was in far better condition than Caspian had left it; the Duke had made short work of the place. Thus, the king found himself rather less busy than he had anticipated, and with plenty at time to spend at leisure with Beloved. On a cool, breezy day, they went to Felimath together. They were accompanied by a guard, but it felt private all the same. The wind whipped cowlicks into Caspian’s hair; Beloved laughed and laughed.

Not long after returning to Narnia, Caspian took her as his bride. He cut a charming figure, with a crown on his head and a long ermine-edged robe trailing behind him, but Beloved loved him for his earnestness, his warmth.

The Narnians called her Queen and Queen Star most of the time. Queen Radiant became popular after she became pregnant, because she grew hotter and brighter as Rilian grew within her. By the time he was born, Beloved’s hands were painfully hot to touch, but Caspian gripped them tight all the same.

You are beautiful as Cair Paravel, my love; awesome as an army with banners. Turn away your eyes from me, for they overwhelm me.

After she was gone, the Narnians called her Beloved.

It wasn't exactly fair what you were doing, but it was way too fun to stop. You hadn't meant to find out that the beloved Yamaguchi had a crush on you, but it was difficult not to listen to the teasing of his teammates. Obviously you reciprocated his feelings, (honesty who wouldn't), and your chest bubbled in excitement. You were in the same class as Ennoshita, occasionally participating in study groups with him, and the two of you got along pretty well. It wasn't too odd that you had asked to watch the boys he talked about so much practice, and Ennoshita was ecstatic that you wanted to experience the first years' talent.

You were sat on the bleachers pretending to do homework, peaking down at your paper occasionally to doodle. It was cute how Yamaguchi would glance at you after he served, and you would always smile encouragingly. He was just so adorable and so blushy that you couldn't help but have feelings for him. Before one of their matches, you DIYed a cheerleader outfit like you saw in America, matching the length of the short skirt/shorts.

You cheered playfully along with the other students that came to watch the match that would determine whether the team was going to nationals or not, flashing your pom-poms around beside Yachi and Tanaka's sister. You weren't quite sure who the other guys beside you were, but they seemed nice enough. The match was confusing and you had no clue what was going on half of the time, but you cheered the loudest whenever Yamaguchi was serving.

"You guys did awesome!!" Yachi pumped a fist into the air as she ran towards the boys with you, gripping your hand tightly. The two of you had gotten a bit closer during the match, and you now had her number in your phone.

"Y-y/n-san," Ennoshita blushed as he took in your outfit, "I didn't realize that you would be cheering for us today."

"Yep! I made it last night!" You twirled in a circle, showing off your handiwork, "though it would look better with a number on the back."

Sugawara slapped his palm on both of their heads and whispered something in their ears. The two boys' eyes widened and they started giggling, which was a concerning sight.

"Locker rooms, guys," Daichi reminded the team, and you watched as they made their way to the change rooms.

"What was that about?" You wondered aloud to Yachi, following her down the hallway where the boys disappeared. She just shrugged, a cheeky grin forming on her face.

The two of you waited outside of the boys' locker room, listening to the chaos that was inside.

"—how were we supposed to know that it was that y/n-san?" Nishinoya asked someone, and your interest piqued at the sound of your name.

"I'm pretty sure there's only one y/n-san in the school," Tsukishima replied, to your confusion. "And I told you not to hit on them because Yamaguchi has a crush on them."

"Awe Tsukki,~" Tanaka said. "You're such a good friend to him."

You glanced at Yachi quizzically, who was looking away guiltily. Well she obviously knew Yamaguchi liked you. Your face reddened with happiness, and a smile broke out onto your face. Your heart swelled at the thought of a blushy Yamaguchi, arm carefully locked with your own and a blush on his face.

"Would it be alright if I took the bus with you guys?" You asked Yachi airily. "I don't wanna sit in Tanaka-san's car for another couple hours."

"I-I mean you would h-have to ask c-coach Ukai I'm p-pretty sure," she replied, a flustered blush on her cheeks.

It was odd how easily convinced the Karasuno volleyball coach was to let you on their ride, even if you had been at their practices a few times. Ukai let you have a seat to yourself near the back of the bus, overlooking the rest of the vehicle. When the boys finally started to fill in they didn't notice you at first, but once Hinata locked eyes with you he shouted out a loud greeting.

"Hi y/n!!" The redhead beamed. "Why're you here? Did you watch the whole game? Did you see our quick attack?!!"

"Calm down, shrimpy," Tsukishima mumbled as he pushed past the smaller boy, "don't overload them with questions."

"Oh, I'm just here because Tanaka-san's driving made me incredibly car-sick," you shrugged. "I didn't feel like puking out the window a second time."

You saw the green cowlick of Yamaguchi's hair peak over the tall blonde's shoulder, and you could tell that he was cowering away. Tsukishima found himself a seat, blocking off the edge with his gym bag.

"Sorry Yams," he grinned cheekily, "looks like you'll have to find another spot."

Yamaguchi's face flushed a cherry red as he looked around, knowing what his best friend was trying to do. He bit his lip once he noticed that all of the other seats were taken, either by his teammates or their luggage. He gulped and turned over to look at you, grip tightening on his bag strap.

"U-uh, can I, uhm, can I sit here?" The nervous boy asked quietly, trying to mask the shake in his voice.

"Sure!" You accepted happily, offering him the window seat. He held his breath as he shimmied by, immediately regretting facing his body towards you. His cheeks flared another spout of dark pink.

Yamaguchi sat down and let his bag fall to his feet, and he looked out the window anxiously. The two of you didn't say much once the bus began to move; his legs couldn't stop bouncing with nerves, and he occasionally turned his head slightly to peek at you. He admired your appearance through his eyelashes, watching you nibble on your lips. Yamaguchi gulped and turned back away, his mind racing with thoughts of your puffy lips.

A small smile broke onto his face as he felt your head lean against his shoulder and he blushed. Your hand slowly slipped onto his thigh and his breath hitched, trying with all his might to not get hard. Which obviously failed when he felt a twitch in his dick. Yamaguchi shifted uncomfortably, awkwardly hunching over to conceal his erection.

"...are you hard?" You whispered questioningly, so quietly he almost couldn't hear you. "Wow, you are."

Yamaguchi choked on his own saliva processing what you said, and he felt his face flush so hard he swore that blood vessels broke, "I-I'm sorry," he whimpered, rubbing his legs together, "I-it's just when you touch me l-like that..." he trailed off.

"..so if I do this, you'll get harder?" You whispered in his ear as you slid your hand onto his inner thigh, gently massaging it.

"U-uh," he squeaked, "y-yeah..." Yamaguchi was sure the bus had gotten hotter with your hand between his legs.

"This is ok, right Yams?" You nibbled on his earlobe and he whimpered out a quiet breath.

"Y-yes," Yamaguchi swallowed harshly. He let his grey-green hair cover his eyes as you continued to massage very close to his erection,. "I-I like you," he confessed softly, glancing at your e/c eyes.

"I know," you uttered into his neck. "I like you too, cutie."

Random headcannons for Grimsley, Colress, and Maxie!

- He is aquaphobic, and also has eyery other phobia associated with water from a childhood experience- he was swimming at the beach and a sharpedo attacked him. It pulled him under and severely scarred him, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I headcannon that he has a huge scar across his face (going over one eye which he is blind in) and yeah.

- He is Demiromantic Heterosexual

-He is in no way attracted to Archie, mainly because Hardenshipping annoys me and they absolutely hate eachother. They may share a few words but that's it. They've both tried to kill eachother. Hardenshipping art is cute tho 🙃

-He is attracted to Courtney but doesn't know how to tell so he... Yeah... [Insert harmless asexual lenny face here]

- Pure adrenaline junkie, but not a sadomasochist liie Grimsley

- First pokemon was ironically a water type (Feebass. He caught her himself before the incident...) (He gifted her to Archie after they made up. They didn't really made up, they just stopped trying to murder eachother. In Hoenn, offering a special pokemon is a gesture of peace.)

- I headcannon him as Aromantic Asexual. He doesn't see a need for romance as it gets in the way if him enjoying his life. I also don't like any Grimsley ships haha. But Grimsley x Colress probably has to be the one i enjoy seeing art of the most, considering they're two of my favorites.

-His first pokemon was his beloved Liepard, which he caught as a Purrloin. Her name is Noct

He loves flavors. Sometimes he'll buy things for the flavor and eat whenever he feels like tasting a flavor. Sweet, Sour, Dry, Spicy, Crazy as heck, every flavor is amazing to him. He favors sweet stuff though.

I actually have a bit of a thing going on- Grimsley is related to Nanu and Guzma. Nanu is Guzma's real dad. (Dont tell Guzzy's non bio dad! He doesn't know!) He and Guzma's mom did the anti asexual stuff and yeah, but Guzma's mom lied and said it was her husbands. Grimsley is related to Guzma as a cousin. Guzma's Mom's sister went to Unova, got married to someone, and yeah. Nanu is Grimsley's uncle i guess? Grimsley is probably related to Peirs and Marnie as an Uncle so *this is getting confusing help*

- Though he seems carefree, he is often very anxious.

-I love this adorable man okay?-

- He strongly admires Ghetsis and is very loyal, but he doesn't want to show it because he doesn't want to freak Ghetsis out.

- Ghetsis wouldn't be freaked out by this. He'd actually enjoy it, but woukd be suspicious because he's just like that.

- He's Panromantic Homosexual with feelings for Ghetsis, if i haven't made that part obvious. Antigravityshipping for life! 💜

(Just since I've put in some Ghetsis stuff, Ghetsis is Homoromantic Autosexual. Him and Lusamine are Autosexual buddies. Lusa is AroAuto, but only after the discovery of UBs)

- He lives for floofy pokemon

- His first pokemon was Joltik. She was living under his bed and he found her. He was scared of her at first but grew very attached. She didn't want to evolve so he gave her an Everstone. Now she is at the impressive level of 88 (dang) and at the age of 22 years. He found her when he wa five, so he's 27. (Ghetsis is younger than he looks at 39. He looks 50. Colress is attracted to people older than him. )

- Joltik rides along in his oversized pockets. In Alola she rides on his cowlick. How cute!

- He was originally going to battle the gym leaders and e4 and Iris n stuff, but he gave up when he realized his team was too weak, and he's terrible at catching good pokemon. His original team was Joltik, Audino, Growlithe, Woobat, and Klink. He kept his Klink, and sent the others back to the wild so they could be happy. His dad caught his current team for him as a gift for his 18th birthday. His dad was named Walter, and sadly passed away when Colress was 23 due to cancer of the brain. (He added a few mons tho)

- His Joltik, named Jodie, offers emotional support. He calls her a variety of nicknames: Bebs, Lil bug, sparko, etc

(All of those are inspired by what i call my permakitten (cat that resembles a kitten) Cricket haha~)

Welp, those are my random headcannons! If this gets some likes I'll take some request for character and ship headcannons! This is my first Tumblr post! :) I'm also going to be making some art, so keep an eye out.
