Rivulets of Red is an upcoming 18+ Dark Fantasy/Romance IF that may not be suitable to some readers. As it has dark themes— such as references to possession, torture, death, and war— and depictions of sexual themes, profanity, alcohol consumption, and drug abuse.

You were a simple stablehand before The Great War started. Nothing more than a blip on the radar to most— less than a speck of dirt on the bottom of well worn boots to others— but that didn’t stop you from dreaming of what could be. You just never expected how much you’d wish to go back to the life of anonymity; before the fame, before the war, before the nightmares.

Blood now stained your hands a dark crimson; forever there no matter how much you may scrub them clean. The memories of glassy eyes forever ingrained into your mind.

Coming back home, to your homeland, after such a change would be hard. Adjusting to the past and present meeting once more even more so. All you could hope was that everything would become easier in time.

Until you hear a dark whisper within your mind.

Baseline Synopsis: You’re one of the few survivors of The Great War when in regards to the Front Line. Returning home to your country, Elyria, is something you’ve wanted for quite some time, but it’s much harder to acclimate than you had believed it would be. Coupled with the growing knowledge that you were returning wrong…It’ll certainly be a joyous homecoming. Will you be able to figure out what’s wrong with you before it’s too late?

Revan (M/F/NB) — The Heir

They’re ruthless to all the people that dare oppose Elyria. With a stoic mask that no one could ever hope to read, a tendency to cut deeper than any blade with their words alone, and a propensity for bloodshed; Revan was exactly the Heir their father— King Tylan— had wanted for Elyria.

Of course, Revan was also the only person to ever treat you like an actual human within the castle. Even when you had been warned to stay away from the unstoppable force that was the Crown Heir, you couldn’t help but be caught in the brilliant light that was their spirit.

They are tall (6’5”/1.95 m) with dark black hair, signature of the Raven House, with ice green eyes. Pale skin offset by the dark clothing that adorns their muscular physique. Revan is 28.

Seren (M/F/NB) — The Warrior

A survivor like yourself, but the haunted look in their eyes tell any that look upon them that they had been in the domain of Hell for much longer than you. Seren isn’t a person you’d normally be close with, but you can’t say that you mind having them by your side. Loyal to a fault, without rhyme or reason, Seren would gladly take an arrow for you without thinking twice.

You’re not sure if you’ll ever learn why Seren had been conscripted into the Army, but all you do know is that it probably has something to do with the scars that littered their body.

They are of medium height (5’8”/1.72 m) with dark bronze skin and shimmering hazel eyes. Auburn hair falls around their face in a mess of curls— usually pulled back— and their deceptively strong body is hidden behind simple tunics. Seren is 26.

Auryn (M/F/NB) — The Old Flame

If things had been different— if you hadn’t left when and how you did— you would probably be married to the gentle soul that was the Spy Master’s child. Auryn had been in your life ever since you both were children; after they had stumbled into the stable looking for a quiet place to read.

It seems the years, while being kind in terms of their elegance and beauty, have caused them to close off the world of wonder they used to speak of. A guarded, almost jaded, look etched within their gaze.

They are tall (5’11”/1.8 m) with olive toned skin and sapphire blue eyes. Honey blonde hair is lighter than you remember, but just as beautiful. Their lithe form hidden behind various cloaks and robes. Auryn is 27.

Concept ideas/writing prompts for Prohibited Wish

Prismo says "I love you"/kisses (or something idk its 10:40) for the first time and Scarab just starts full on sobbing because no one has ever showed him love or affection

Scarab having a shitty or abusive ex + Prismo beating the absolute shit out of them

AU/FIC idea where instead of Bruce becoming Batman, it was Alfred instead and young Bruce becoming inspired of his father he tries to be like him too (aka the robin to Bat!Alfred)

the story is the same but with Alfred, Martha & Thomas. Bruce is still a baby in this timeline, Alfred was decided to stroll Bruce’s stroller because Martha was tired. same story they both got shot, Alfred immediately went to hide Bruce away taking him away holding him to his chest taking him away from the stroller, he watched as the guy shot both Martha & Thomas, he covered Bruce’s mouth so they won’t be heard. Alfred was close, best friends even, to Thomas & Martha and the grief hit him hard as well he became Bruce’s guardian now taking care of him ever since he was a baby. not sure how to write this part yet but Alfred eventually becomes Batman, aka the 19’s Batman. (people in gotham of course, still calls him Batman what else?)

when Bruce became 6 or 7 years old, he eventually found out Alfred is Batman, his dad is THE batman! Bruce looked up to Batman because he always saw him in tv’s, new’s, etc and wanted to be like him because he was a cool superhero who did justice to people. Alfred would come back home to the manor after a rough night fighting some punks who think they’re tough, Alfred enters Bruce’s room to see him trying to make himself a batman costume, and dear god, it warmed Alfred’s heart so much. eventually, Alfred would let Bruce come along with him in a disguise of course he can’t risk him getting hurt, so he only lets Bruce tag along with him in special occasions bringing his son, happy to see him so excited.

and when Bruce got older, around 10-13 yo Alfred would start training him, eventually becoming the ‘Robin’ in this universe. i don’t got much planned down for this, i just thought it’d would be a silly concept because i yearn for more AU/Fic centered around Alfred & Bruce being the absolute Father&Son relationship ever <3

(the rogues that not this au Bruce/Batman would usually fight, like Joker, are of course kids/teens as well in this au same as Bruce. im thinking maybe the rogues in this au would be like some old villains from old comics that were barely brought up anymore these present times or parents of the rogues themselves?)

Not me eagerly awaiting Epic the Musical’s Underworld Saga release because I feel like it’s going to make for some KILLER HH crossover in the form of horrific Lucifer angst. Like, I’ve already got some ideas flowing. Whether anything comes of them who knows? Whether I remember them? WHO KNOWS. But as of right now? MMM so excited.

Like, just picture this w/ me for a second (I’m gonna put my brain-rot fantasies after the cut for all of y’all who could not give less of a shit):

Imagine the song “The Underworld.”

“This land confuses your mind / When does a man become a monster? / 558 men who died under your command”

It starts with Lucifer closing his eyes, then opening them in like a pitch black environment.

“Captain, Captain, Captain, Captain!”

The first three have of him running into like— more angelic spears which corral him into a corner. The last one he like looks up at just sees ALL the angels glaring at him.

“Why would you let the Cyclops live when ruthlessness is mercy!”

Here I imagine it starts w/ flashbacks of him giving Eve the apple. Then, there’s is like a giant black snake forms from/behind/around the angel and in some way like kinda just.. “consumes” Lucifer, like it jumps up in the air, comes back down on him. He flinched, and when he opens his eyes again he’s alone, on the ground in Hell, covered in blood, and has his demonic traits showing. Idk, just something super symbolically horrific that would def be something u see in a nightmare.

“All I hear are screams… / Every time I dare to close my eyes / I no longer dream / Only nightmares of those who’ve died. / (Nothing’s what it seems) Nothing’s what it seems / but in the underworld the past seems close behind”

Here Lucifer is just looking around at all the carnage and graphic depictions Hell has to offer. I also imagine at some point he sees his own demonic form and like— physically jumps back in fear/repulsion. Just like real graphic, horrific, nightmare fuel. The frames go by somewhat quickly, just a jumbled mess of gore and violence and terror.

“I keep thinking of the infant from that night / I keep thinking of the infant from that night.”

The like gorey images get faster, but also mixed in are actual images of him falling, angellic spears, him giving Eve the apple, Lilith, basically everything that you could imagine is part of his trauma. Like, they just flash by the screen faster and faster on repeat until u can’t even rlly tell what they are anymore. Then, after the second repeat of the verse, the music stops abruptly and he sits up straight in bed, looks around, realizes it was a dream, then it’s just a wide shot of him alone in his room, looking haunted and tired but not panicked anymore.

Idk if I would want him to be staying at the Hotel, or in his castle in his big like King sized bed w/ half the bed not slept in, but either way yummy angst.

Haha, oops, went on a little ramble there. Oh well. Hopefully someone will care and agree that this would be bombed. Or not. Who rlly gives a shit? Not me, I just needed to write this down XD.

I also have another idea for the song No Longer You but I’m not gonna go on a whole spiel, and instead just say it starts at “But that’s not a world I know” w/ Luci looking in the mirror at his demon form. Then form “I see a song of past romance” onward is Lucifer reflecting back on Lilith, the apple, his Fall, etc. Then finally on “But it’s no longer you” flash back to present day Lucifer who kinda just sighs and (maybe) sheaths his demonic attributes sadly/ashamed oh b4 walking away.

We know that Yuu is from our world, right? And let's say they know the Disney stories. And I'm sure some of you have had ideas with the songs of Disney being 'magic songs/recitals/ritual songs' used to cast magic and have posted about this before.

But what if there was something a bit more horrifying? The Disney characters we know and love so happen to have often be based off of the old stories from the brothers grimm.

I think some of you may know where I'm going with this, maybe. But would the brothers grimm be called the actual truth about the Disney characters? The great seven? That what they know about the great seven so happen to be total rubbish? If their world was actually...much much darker and had been filled with propaganda, because in their world—the villains won.

And if...if Yuu, also us, been sent to Twisted wonderland, with a brothers grimm book. And that not only are the songs from the Disney movies powerful chants, but the 'ancient script.'

In Cinderella, the movie was all about love and being rewarded for your goodness and hardwork, and punished for the opposite of those. And to find the truth.

Same with the old story from Aschenputtel. And in Aschenputtel, there's a sentence from the bird that helped show the truth:

'Take a peep, take a peep, the shoe holds blood.'

(In the story, the evil stepsister have been forced by the evil stepmother to cut off a piece of their heel and foot to fit in the shoe. But have been exposed by the bird.)

And if people in twisted wonderland only speak Japanese, and English is magic chanting, what if german or Latin where the ultimate ancient chants?!

(I don't think Vil can speak German, even though he has a German alst name. Sorry Leute aber das ist meine meinung weil, Yuu sollte unheimlich in diese Version sein.)

So, 'take a peep, take a peep, the shoe holds blood', could be used as to show the truth? Like a chant of truth, but 20 times more effective. And by that the chanter could practically make them hallucinate the truth...or is it the truth? The bird wanted to say the truth to help Aschenputtel, what if you could actually use that chant to bend someone to your opinion?

And let's fancy that shit up guys.

'Take a peep, take a peep, the shoe holds blood, tainted red. Heed my words and follow my voice, for I know the truth of this tale we speak.'

MC Concepts?

ok, so even before the Au I had in mind, I had a couple of ideas upon what would MC would be like or based upon the character and even had some weird plot idea a few years back.

So let's begin upon the first idea concept, the first idea upon how I would imagine Mc in the AU (or even in the main thing) would be of a familiar someone that would kinda makes sense in context, a Disney character rather so underrated that he's rarely seen in Disney.

That is being, this guy...

Basically from what I know at least I haven't seen anyone making a MC or a Oc version of him since there were rather easy clues in Twisted Wonderland that had some deja vu in Epic Mickey (blots, Mickey from the other side of the mirror, rarely has much interractions, and some more evidence that I'll add later) and I would want to have Oswald to have some light and popularity again, even if it's just a minor thing since I had found out he was cancelled out of the content for a kingdom hearts game.

And I would also think it would particularly work since of this rather particularly scenes in Epic Mickey comparison to Twisted Wonderland.

Notice how in Twisted Wonderland, Mickey looks like from the old cartoon of his and not his iconic one.

The image you seen in Twisted Wonderland is not only a reference to a Mickey Short "Thru the Mirror", but also the beginning scene to the Epic Mickey game. And with some evidence I had mentioned, it would mainly make sense there would be referencing to the actual game, but few things particularly had me questioned. What about Oswald? What ever happened to him?

So upon theory that MC can secretly Is a Twst Oswald (even if it's not canon sadly, at least in a headcannon) who needed to fix something that Mickey could not (or is trying to do but failing). Of Why Crowley would particularly needed MC to begin with despite with the possible pretending he's making of him trying to send them home and meeting them for the first time, believing it was another student. Or Rather in Chapter Seven..

Before we continue, I suggest that you may want to move past down or don't read this part cause it has some contain spoilers of part 2. Just know, SPOILERS AHEAD!

Are we good..? ..good!

Anyways, or like in Chapter Seven of where Malleus had said "You will all become the protagonist of this fairytale" after he overblotted and cast everyone, even Yuu/MC to sleep/kidnap them in thorns? Likely how Maleficint comes to Philip's prison cell to taunt him of how he's the valiant hero of a fairytale come true. And I would think upon the theory MC's dreams would be either similar to Oswald's or what would had it been like if Oswald was still with Disney/Mickey never exist, of what shorts and movies that Mickey made would become Oswald's instead.

And perhaps then, maybe, Mickey might have been the one to take Oswald's place. Of where everyone knows and loves Oswald and Mickey became a forgotten toon just like many others.

To have the dream that Oswald never had achieved because of what happened between Universal and Disney years ago that he cannot easily control. That he was once happy before he was then ripped away from Disney's arms. Just like in this video.

(Thinking about it, it's almost a similar backstory to Lotso's from Toy Story 3 but didn't turn evil)

Actually speaking of which, from what I also remember Oswald was supposed to be in the antagonist in the original Epic Mickey game thanks to some concept art of it. Which they had a plan but decided to scrap most of the main idea of him being the villain but would still act a bit mean and jealous over Mickey since he was replaced by him and both Mickey and Oswald technically didn't know each other at the beginning until both warmed up for each other. Despite his flaws, he's still a good person that is helping around the forgotten toons to have a place they feel belonged and is rather devastated after loosing Ortensia to The Blot after sending it away.

Which there is a potential chance that this would be a Overblot version of MC/Yuu if pushed comes to shove.

But thinking throughout upon Twisted Wonderland, Yuu/MC becomes cleared and clever throughout the other chapters of how to attempt to stop the "villian" and save the day though luck and planning. Not to mention in part 1 of chapter seven, Yuu/MC immediately recognized who Maleficint was and headed to the plaza where her statue was where Yuu/MC would be both conflicted upon their dream but also finding clues how to try and prevent another overblot. of course Yuu/MC would have some antagonistics upon them of where they had been stressed and almost died mutiple times (or more likely wanting to kill their/her/his friends after many stupid shenanigans they dragged them in or Crowley gaslights them so he wouldn't be the one in trouble. This is why we prefer Mr. Crewel as a father figure, Crowley.)

Ok..hopefully with Concept idea #1 out of the way, here's Concept idea #2.

So for the other concept of mine is Mc/Yuu being another Disney Character but this time in a obviously well known movie you all probably would know or already watched Encanto. That MC/Yuu being a Twst Mirabel.

Hopefully this will be a lot shorter but I'll try my best to clear some things out. To not be confused, the concept idea is Yuu/MC being twst Mirabel, not Yuu/MC being a part of the Madrigals or Mirabel in Twisted Wonderland thought I like the concept upon those ideas since they were creative.

So upon context that I would believe that Mirabel wanted to belong in the Family Madrigal despite her having no gift and how some of her family members (Mainly Alma and Isabela) sees her as a sort of outcast of the family like her uncle, Bruno, who's painted as the villain but is actually a nice guy. When she suddenly sees the cracks from the house, she's trying to find answers of what is happening and how to save the Miracle. Going onto a adventure and talking to the other family members in hope of any information, luckily thanks to Luisa, she finds out that there was a vision that Bruno left behind that of her having two possible outcomes, either her destroying or saving Casita. That the reason why Bruno left because he wanted to protect her from making Mirabel having more of a worse outcome than it already is with her. Soon Mirabel and Bruno found a way to help the candle by hugging her sister, Isabela which at first doesn't want to and thinks it's pointless to try but needed to given a chance. Also promising that she will help Bruno come back home. Of course Isabela and Mirabel talk it out, shared a moment, hugged and shown how Isabela was forced to become perfect in the daily based until she realized she didn't needed to be perfect, she needed to be herself.

Every seemed fine until Alma came and blames on Mirabel for Bruno leaving, Isabela out of control, the cracks from the house, Luisa losing magic, having no gift when she was litterally five years old person and basically saying that Mirabel is the one who is hurting this family, concidering that she wasn't apart of this family to begin with. Mirabel rightfully lashes out of how neither of the family wouldn't be good enough to Alma's standards and how Alma is the reason why the magic was dying to begin with because of her fear and standards pushed to far upon the family that without their gifts, they are nothing because she expected perfection of everyone and leaving Mirabel out of it as if she's never considered as family. Soon the Cracks got worse, house got destroyed and Mirabel runs off where the others are looking for her. And Alma confronts Mirabel who's apologizing but Alma sits by her, admitting her faults and her actual story, knowing now that it is her fault and Mirabel becomes to understand and forgives her, they hug out and returned home with Bruno to fix the house and having the family repairing, the magic returns with everyone in the family included. (Minor Critique that I would think Mirabel wouldn't completely forgive Alma, but would need a bit of time to forgive her but still does understand like in the deleted scene without the mom dying but I would think in time she and Bruno would eventually forgive Alma. But i think the reason they forgive her immediately or didn't question about it because it's Disney and wanted everyone to have a happy ending and it was almost over.)

While Yuu/MC is isekaied into another world filled with magic, who is magicless and must solve and stop the incidents and overblots that are happening to NRC. Having to involve/dragged themself/herself/himself into this scenarios of life and death from the overblots, some bullying that had been into or had gotten into with either the dormleaders or dorm students, Crowley gaslighting, neglect and blackmail, and which would eventually lead them into PTSD after the shit they had been through and eventually needed a therapist of their own, but does and can relate through the people that Yuu/MC are close to and to learn upon their mistakes to make up what they have done while trying to find a way back home.

of course some of it's similarities between Yuu/MC and Mirabel that both are magicless, needing some therapy and is helping people getting through their problems and their mistakes to become a better person. And I would especially think we would need to get Yuu/MC's Backstory since the Manga's MCs/Yuus are different each time (most likely) and I would think Yuu/MC having a very similar scenerio with Mirabel would probably be a compelling way of a backstory since both with Mirabel and Oswald are overlooked and wanted to be belonged, showing them that they got what it takes to be a somebody to them.

Though of course both of them are vastly different but I would think either of them might work for at least my version (Either Aus or headcannon) of Yuu/MC, regardless of what gender or race they are.

And now, hopefully for the most rather weird plot/backstory idea of what I would think could be interesting but not exactly sure due to how unsure how it's going to work since it would work for another Au where Twisted Wonderland is in a more Fantasy Era.

So to Kinda keep it short as possible, Yuu/MC is cursed by a unfamiliar source that endangers both their/her/his home and Twisted Wonderland where they are "the outcast" upon their family and noticed something was going on due to a black marking on their hand, like a cut that's dripping down a drop of black ink mixed with blood, having the cracks seen as a sign of danger. They talked to their/her/his family to see what's going on, realizing some of them knew about something that they won't tell Yuu/MC.

Eventually some disaster insurance after finding a mysterious spell book, glowing green-glass shards and paintbrush and eventually Yuu/MC in a angered state decided if their/her/his family won't tell them/her/him about the mysterious curse, they'll have to find out themself.

As they were just about to leave their home, they spotted something from the distance that calls to them to follow. They do, leading upto where they see the very thing falling into a rabbit hole that looks like a very deep well. They fell into the well's water before a few spects of magic began surrounding them as they became a shooting star before suddenly falling down to Twisted Wonderland, or at least the gateway towards it.

They are tested to pass through the gate and succeeded, Confronting either some of the RSA or NRC students in the Fantasy AU where they believe Yuu/ MC is the powerful magician that was gifted upon one of the most powerful artifacts that along with it's guardian was lost centuries ago along with the one whom had possessed the very two rare artifacts.

The mysterious spellbook is not only a book full of almost every spell but actually a storybook of all Disney Characters posing a sort of prophecies coming to life into an alternate retelling that can change fate, ending, and how they became to be, that being called The Book of Legacies, and with the Paintbrush of Imaginations, it can create living beings, pathways to worlds, even items that seemed to be lost.

The second being a candle that granted a miracle that can provide or in case help the adventurer upon what they would need to set things right and save the day. And to prove whom is worthy and whom is not, or more likely who can be redeemed and who cannot.

There will be more Lore with the Book and the Candle upon the Pomfiore Arc, which it would possibility merged with the Glorious Mascarade event.

However when the students and Yuu/MC opens the Book to Ambrose the Wizard, (Since he's possibly Merlin from the Sword and the Stone). Where they shown of a story of how their/his/her ancestor who was a student of the eldest sorceror (Yen-Sid) who lives upon the farthest star, the second star to the right, whom locks away a powerful god that was cursed away, never dared to be freed for he's the eternal ruler of evil that brings death and destruction to all, (That being Chernobog from Fantasia)

However Yuu/MC told them that they're/She's/He's not their ancestor and ended up there by accident because they follow something glowing from the distance and showed the marking that they had on their hand. Of course most of them were surprised, afraid and shocked of the very marking.

For it was a marking of a dark prophecy, a curse that would come to Twisted Wonderland and release Chernobog with the Seven Crystals of Darkness alongside "the Great Seven" returning back from the dead and would receive their "gracious gift" to whomever is the one who's with/brings the Cursed Chosen to it's destination and release him from his eternal cage upon the highest mountain. And in order for them find out how to break the cursed is to find their family member that too was in Twisted Wonderland years ago but had been captured into a far kingdom where no one could have or dare to find them because they were the only one who knows how to break it.

And it is up to Yuu/MC to find clues of where their/his/her family member is and rescue them and hopefully save everyone.

As for the Non-Disney School Au, I would think Yuu is particularly a mix of being Non/Disney that is stuck in a world of magic. They would be tricked into staying their for a while because they thought the headmistress would understand and be the one to promise their way back home. Or at least that's the jift of things.

But like I said these are just some concepts of my version of MC/Yuu and probably can eventually figure out the full version of it. But I did not expected to be this long than I wanted to be. So I'm very sorry if it's already too confusing as much but hopefully, hopefully we might have a more clear viewing upon the Au. Of course I'm still looking up a few Non Disney movies to intell and I know I'll add DreamWorks in it, but if you want to tell me any other non disney villians that I can see added in (besides DreamWorks since it's more likely going to be added in). Let me know, but remember it has to be a animated film that isn't Disney so sadly no live-action ones. Until then, hope you guys have a very lucky day! I love the TBITB movie so much, but I can't help wishing we got more. More of the boys bonding, more of Joe's arc as he learns to trust people and to give his everything to the boat, more of the shenanigans they had. I mean, the whole point of the story is about the crew, about those nine guys bonding and reaching such a high level of trust and cooperation that it shows in their performance on the water. I want to see more of them, because in the end they're the heart of the story, and I think the movie focused on different parts, and in the end we didn't see the boys that much. I mean, some of them were barely in it. 🥲

And there's so much in the book, and so much that wasn't even in the book but could be added to make a longer adaptation, maybe a series? There would be more than enough material to fill up! There's so many ups and downs in the book it already feels like a sports anime, so we DEFINITELY could have a good show, maybe three 8-episode seasons, one season per college year? You'd start season 1 with Joe's childhood, and we'd get to see the actual love story with Joyce develop as we follow him all the way to his first year at Washington... maybe that'd take about two episodes before he gets to college, and then we'd get childhood flashbacks if necessary in the rest of the season.

I mean imagine, you've got this triumphant season 1 on the freshman boat, and then in season 2 you move on to the all-sophomore boat, with Ulbrickson frustrated with their inconsistant performance, trying to take Joe out, putting him back in, all the turmoil Joe feels... and we start to see more of Bobby. He was mostly in the background in season 1, but in season 2 he starts feeding into the rivalry and being a little shit to the all-sophomore boat. And he's such a smartass about it that you can't help but like him, but he still feels like an antagonist, all the way to the end of the year where they battle it out for the varsity status... and you're like, how will we ever feel like Bobby can be on the same boat as Joe and the other guys?

BUT THEN you open season 3 with BOBBY's backstory, with his unrelenting drive and ambition, his cleverness and his expertise on a boat, you get to see how hard he worked to get along with his JV boat when they straight up wouldn't respect him, and then as the story progresses you get some pivotal scenes where he bonds with some of the boys, perhaps one where he and Joe come to understand each other a bit better, realizing that beneath their different personalities they've got the same iron-clad determination to get somewhere in life, to get what they want.

And so season 3 is all about the boys on the future Olympic boat coming together and bonding, their shenanigans in college and then in Berlin (I NEED to see that fight with the other teams, guys, I NEED IT, we were ROBBED). I just would love to see the whole story with all the little details and dynamics, all the changes and doubts, it would just be SO GOOD. 😭

God of Knowledge:

* Furious, Guilty and Desesparete, They know what they're capable of, but this misarable creature was cursed since the first flame touch the solid and old Earth. They scream and burn everything into ashes, while they hear the cries of the creatures that they destroy for pure angry and despair...

How I would try to Adapt “Dracula”

Hello, resident Film student that is about to graduate here and I have been through the deep-dive of the Dracula by Bram Stoker waters. Suffice to say, I feel in love and was very disappointed that the cultural osmosis of adaptations that I grew up around to understand Dracula does not even come close to the masterpiece that I found within the original story. It’s Jonathan and Mina, by the way. Their relationship is the masterpiece of this story. Go away very problematic themes, stereotypes, and ideas, I will not let you take this relationship away from me.

Seriously, how was it possible for me to ship a Victorian couple so hard? Why do we not have this in more adaptations?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU HOLLYWOOD?!

…AHEM! Once again, I am sorry to my followers for another fixation has caught my attention. At least this is something I could probably put in a portfolio…

Moving back to my idea, I should make a point that I am a storyboard artist so my idea generally falls to making it into an Adult Cartoon Series. Something along the lines of the Legend of Vox Machina — because I really like that art style and it feels like it fits best with my plot.

Speaking of which, let me get into the plot! Strap in newcomers because I am a bit of a storyteller when it comes to explaining my whacky ideas, if you didn’t already figured that.

DARKY’S DRACULA ADAPTATION, GO!

The setting of my adaptation takes place relatively the same time period. In fact, things are largely the same as the beginning of the novel; Jonathan travels to the Count’s castle, he notices the strong ongoing, he has that horrible encounter with the Vampire Ladies, Dracula does who know what to him, he even has his refined taste for paprika!

You might ask yourself: “Well, how is your adaptation any different from the book?” Well, that’s easy, my good friends. Because Jonathan manages to kill Dracula that day on June 30th, where he successfully decapitates the monster that’s been tormenting him.

It all sounds well and good, right? That means no one to torment Lucy and she can have her big day with Arthur. Mina will be safe, no children get bitten. It sounds wonderful…

…But Jonathan can’t get out of the castle. He remains there, trapped, with the Vampire Ladies and a presence that won’t go away.

Months go by and Mina receives a letter, one from her missing fiancé. He is still in Romania working with the Count, but he would like for Mina to come by and look at the land. Thinking how it would be a wonderful place for a honeymoon.

Mina is confused by the contents of the letter, but it is her proof that her fiancé is alive. And now she has a location of his whereabouts.

With a sadden goodbye to Lucy due to the fact that she will miss her wedding, Mina heads to Transylvania in order to find Jonathan.

But when she arrives at the Castle, welcomed by the Three Women, Mina realizes what horrors had plagued Jonathan and now it will soon come to her.

And that’s the outline of the Pilot I had in my head. Do I think it’s possible for Jonathan to decapitate Dracula with the shovel? Probably not, but it needs to in order for this adaptation to work. And before anyone says, yes, this Adaptation is pretty much Mina Murray going all Resident Evil 7 on Dracula’s castle.

She deserves to have her rage moments. Also, she really wants to get married. If it means she has to storm a castle, then she will do that!

Some other facts that I wanted to include:

Lucy gets more of an active role in the story. She’s been poorly adapted for so long, I wanted to give her something more. She’s the Galinda to Mina’s Elphaba. You bet she’s going to lead a search party that involves her husband, their two best friends, and the silly Professor that was interested in the location in order to find her two childhood friends.

Also, yeah. Lucy and Arthur got married. I’m going to give these two a chance to be happy before things go wrong when they arrive at the castle.

The Vampire Sisters get a chance to be main villains for the first half of the show. Yes, I called them Sisters instead of Brides cause I read that two of the three look like Dracula and I’m just going to leave it at that. Also, I think the Blonde one is their mom? I’m not a hundred percent sure. It’s an adaptation. They’re getting more screen time and depth, is what I’m trying to say!

Mina has a gun, watch out.

Dracula still has a role in this story. That I can include.

I know I likened the plot to Resident Evil 7 so I ‘m just gonna go ahead and say this; Mina will not loose any of her hands.

Expect a lot of Jonmina moments, flashbacks and when they reunite included.
