omg hi. sorry i disappeared for a few days, been super busy with school. i missed you a lot. how have you been?

00:00- You know how BTS always say they know how hard we have it and they want to be a source of comfort for us and that is a big reason for their existence? The vocal line deliver us that very comfort through this song. Jimin and Jin’s soft harmonization with V is a masterpiece. They want us to come back safe after a long day and just turn this song on, they want to relate to our pain and even if just a bit, lessen it. They want us to take a breath with them. The fan and celeb relationship has always been an equal give and take in my eyes - you give them happiness by supporting them and they give you happiness by supporting you. BTS are really the only idols out there verbalizing their love for us to this extent. I love this song, I could listen to it forever.

Inner Child- This song is so beautiful omggg Tae had one of the biggest character developments in the public eye imo. He used to be so so so silly. To me he is still the hardest person to figure out. If you think about it, how much do you actually know about Kim Taehyung? Has he not been the most private member in BTS by far? His aura’s just so different now, like he has gone through way too much. And as of right now, do any of ya’ll think of him as the same kid who said “turn up” in front of Coolio??? 🥴🤧 idk idk I’m rambling but the point is, Taehyung is different. His eyes were bright and heart was big but he was hurting. You’d never think that hyper, smiley kid was worried about the future. Someone who said he thinks bunnies are on the moon didn’t believe in galaxies. The always laughing kid, Taehyung wishes he would smile more genuinely. Imo we don’t know who the past Taehyung was and we never did. Tae is the only person who knows his true self, he’s the only one who will take care of himself. I’m just glad he has his own back.

Friends- Sounds like a movie honestly. The beat feels like an early 2000s romcom sksksk. In the idol life, the people you are in a group with are your coworkers. But Taehyung and Jimin have built a relationship beyond that. They’ve become so close and they are recalling all of that through this song, it’s so endearing. They do fight often but they also have the healthy understanding that these petty fights will never damage their relationship as a whole. They call one another soulmates because they honestly believe they were destined to meet. This is a sweet and intricate song that I don’t think needs an interpretation. If you met someone like Tae met Jimin, then you can truly relate. That feeling of “shit this is my other half...i wanna stay with this person” ssjhdshkd bruh singles look away. Vmin out here breaking hearts and I hope they will stay together far longer than forever.

Moon- Jin always out here making us feel beautiful wtf wtf. Jin my lovely boy, the one who always teases us first sldkhd he’s seriously such first love material it hurts. I love him. I love the way he loves us. The lyrics are so beautiful he wants to be our moon and we want to be his plz this is that “I love you more” “no I love you more” couple everyone hates but secretly wants to be sjkssk imo Jin has the most beautiful vocal tone, I’m addicted to his voice which is why I loved epiphany as much as I did. we all know he deserves so much more appreciation. I just want Jin to know he consistently awes me by his choice of solos and I’m desperately waiting for that solo album. I love him so much thank you for being my brightest moon.

Respect- Literally screamed when I saw the lyric to this song. YES kings tell them you remember how they treated you before the fame! You remember the constant bad mouthing and hate comments and lawsuits. You remember the disrespect. Tell them their “respect” means nothing now akhdka The industry treated them like dirt cause they weren’t one of the big 3 and I know OG ARMYs remember it. I love Yoongi and Joon’s interaction in this. Rapline is so tired of fake bullshit and I am so HERE for it. We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal- Two seconds in and I was in tears??? They’ve worked so, so hard to reach where they are now and I hope no one forgets that. Literally bawled at “We were only seven but we have you all now” It’s so wild to look at BTS and think they are the group that made it. The group that broke endless boundaries. The group that became worldwide. Shit remember when we thought 100,00 preorders were hard?? jsksk The way the melody hits and their sweet voices one after the other just *chef’s kiss* Not to get emotional on main but the fact that their name is bulletproof? A word that has become symbolic in the means of striving through hate and pain. First they had one another and now they have us? The song that originally went hard and they rapped about having no fear and dissed others who looked down on them became a soft love song to talk about their pain and vulnerability? How they manage to survive hardships makes them move forward, how having loving people by their side is what makes them bulletproof? THE CHARACTER GROWTH? Yo BTS are god’s children ya’ll.

Overall, I love this album with my whole heart. They fully incorporated what it means to be 7 and as an OG ARMY, I cannot be more proud. Just compare their music from even ‘HER’ to now. Their is such growth in their lyrics and love in their hearts. Thank you to BTS for giving us bigger and better music to this day. For providing us with performances we can awe over and not losing their roots just because they’ve become big. I’m so grateful that they continue to be by my side.

the high-school fake dating au

High school is possibly the worst place on earth. It’s like it was made to cater to the catty elite, but anyone who is different, or weird, or even just shy gets a target put on them. Laurent is different. His hair is too long, and he prefers actually going to class to learn rather than gossip, and he reads throughout his lunch break. And yeah, sometimes people give him shit for it, but Auguste has always told Laurent to be better than the assholes, so he’s never let that bother him much.

Except. Except, then there’s his mortal enemy, Aimeric. Aimeric is six months younger than Laurent, and they were childhood best friends, right up until Laurent’s dad fired Aimeric’s dad and Aimeric decided he had to take it out on Laurent.

It’s not usually that much of a problem, until the first day of Laurent’s final year of high school.

The issue is that all (three!) of Laurent’s friends were a year above him. Which means they’ve all graduated now. Which means that Laurent no longer has a shield of protection. Which means Aimeric finally has free range to attack Laurent in whatever way he sees fit.

The plan comes into action during roll call. Laurent knows this, because everyone in the class seems to simultaneously get a notification on their phone - Laurent included. Everyone at Marlas State High School is a member of the secret MSHS facebook group. When everyone’s phones vibrate in unison like this, it only means one thing - new gossip.

Roll call ends and they are all set free to walk to their first period classes and check their phones on the way.

Laurent doesn’t need to click the link. He already knows what the bio says. He wrote it. He shoves his phone back into his pocket and gets halfway to class before he thinks, fuck this, and heads for the sick bay.

“It’s first period,” the office receptionist says, skeptically.

“I have a headache,” Laurent snaps.

Luckily, the sick bay is empty, so he can sit down on the uncomfortable bed in there and try not to freak out.

He’s been careful with this blog! He doesn’t tag anything or make personal posts. He even used a really old email address from when he was a kid to sign up. The only things that prove that it’s his is the profile picture - an artistically blurred photo of him - and the three word bio: Laurent, 17, gay.

He buries his head in his hands. His phone is going off with notifications like it never has before. Gay, gay, gay. Why the fuck did he write that?! There’s only one person who could have done this - Aimeric. Aimeric is the sole person in their school that was friends with Laurent when he was using that email address. He must have used that to search for Laurent’s blog.

This is so fucked up. Laurent had a very specific plan for his coming out - namely, to do it in university and also never speak to anyone from high school again. Sure, there have been rumours before, but this is practically a signed declaration. The torture this year is going to be relentless.

Laurent spends another twenty minutes with his head in his hands, when the door opens and in comes the receptionist and -- Damianos Akielos. Laurent immediately wants to die. Damianos - or Damen, as everyone calls him - is most definitely the most popular guy in school. Hell, he’s probably the most popular guy even in the schools he doesn’t attend, he has that many friends. Not only is he loved by just about everyone, but he’s also in three different sports teams, and the captain of the environmentalist committee at the school. When he smiles, literal sparkles appear around his face. Laurent once went to one of his wrestling matches and had a week of uncomfortably hot sex dreams afterwards.

“-still no excuse for fighting,” the receptionist is chastising him. And yet she still manages to sound more affectionate than when she’d been questioning Laurent’s headache.

“Aw, Miss Halvik,” Damen says, in a syrupy voice. “I didn’t know you cared.”

She laughs, and then instructs Damen to take the ice off of his cheek in twenty minutes, before leaving.

Damen sighs when the door closes, and then looks up and spots Laurent. “Oh!” he says, eyes widening. “Laurent, hi, you’re-- are you okay?”

“I’m in sick bay,” Laurent replies, testily. “So evidently not.”

Damen has the gall to look concerned. It’s not like he and Laurent have ever been friends or anything like it. “What happened? Did someone hit you?”

“I have a headache,” Laurent replies. “Your endless questions aren’t helping.”

“I’m sorry.”

They both fall silent after that. Despite the ice pack clutched to his face, Damianos still looks beautiful. His skin is flawless and brown, and his curls form perfect little ringlets that are just long enough to get in his eyes.

After a moment, Damen carefully says, “Did you get your headache before first period?”

Laurent looks away.

Damen takes that as an answer. He speaks as if Laurent is a skittish baby deer. “I’m sorry about that post, but I promise it’ll blow over. It’s just the start of a new year and everyone is desperate for drama. Something else will happen for them to focus on soon, I’m sure of it.”

Laurent levels Damen with a cold look. “It’s easy to be optimistic,” he says, “when you’re straight and perfect and everyone loves you. I doubt they’ll even let me last the year here.”

Damen frowns. “Do you really think that?”

“That you’re an optimistic idiot? Yes.”

“I mean that you won’t be able to stay here.”

Laurent sighs. “There’s a reason,” Laurent says, “that I didn’t come out on my own terms already.”

Damen falls into a thoughtful silence again for some time. “Do you think it would be the same for me? If I were --not straight.”

Laurent scoffs. “Everyone who saw you dating Jokaste last year has little doubt that you’re straight.”

“But if I wasn’t,” Damen insists.

Laurent shrugs. “I don’t know. You’d probably be fine. They’d all call you brave and keep loving you anyway. I’m an outcast, they’re all probably just happy for another reason to hate me.”

“Do you want to date me?” Damen bursts out.

It’s hard not to roll his eyes. “Just because I like men,” Laurent says, “doesn’t mean I want to fuck you.” He very specifically doesn’t say no, though.

“No,” Damen says, “I mean. What if we-- If I’m so popular then, wouldn’t it...make it easier… if we were dating?”

Laurent scowls. “You mean you want to pretend to date me so that people aren’t so fucking awful to me?”

“If you think that would help you,” Damen says, earnestly. “And any other not-straight students here.”

The worst thing is - it’s actually really tempting. Damen is offering to be his beautiful, bulky, human shield. It sounds like something out of a low budget rom-com.

“You dated Jokaste,” Laurent says, stupidly. “Everyone knows you’re straight.”

“Bisexuality exists, just FYI,” Damen replies. He’s smiling a little now, like he thinks Laurent is cute or something. What the fuck. “Listen,” he stands up. “I’m going to go back to class now. I can’t really afford to miss much more of history. But the offer stands. Think about it, and come sit with me at lunch if you decide you’re up for it.”

I think he can do it!!! hes working so so hard, despite being injured, and hes helping so many other kids..... i just wish his work can be acknowledged. 

oof now thats its down to 2 votes a day... its time we see who people’s real biases are... im guessing theres gonna be some drastic changes in the rankings from here, bc the kids who are just well-liked by everyone but not actually “biased” will be dropped like crazy. i know who im gonna vote for, but im sad it means i wont be able to vote for some kids who i know will really need votes too..... but i believe you can kinda tell which kids are “bias” material and which are more just generally well-liked. that’s all im gonna say about it, but for everyone who’s voting, just choose wisely bc some kids will need your votes more than others, just saying....

Someone I have had on my mind lately: my ex fiancé, Daniel.

Why: because I’m reading a book about this amazing guy that’s graduating from his seminary in order to be a pastor, and the girl feels awkward, uncomfortable and not good enough. And that is literally my story with Daniel.

May as well stop reading here.

The book says nothing about this on the back, I don’t try to pick things that make me reflective. On the contrary, I try to avoid all of that if possible thx.

Once upon a time: my ex turned into the biggest jackass alive and I hated him with every fiber of my being, in between tears 🙄

I did something I’d never do again, but wouldn’t tell someone not to do either?? My best friend made me get a Facebook, back when it was mostly college kids and I didn’t know that. I had a MySpace ok wtf do I need this thing for. *insert laughs*

So while on this new...thing, I was determined to meet new people. A guy. A better guy than the douchebag that stared at his watch for 4+ years. First I prayed, deeply. Help me find the right one that’s gonna make me forget this other asshole...whew lord I hated him.

I don’t remember what I typed or how I ever found him, but whatever it was, he was the first. Public page. All I saw was he was in college. Super cute and just seemed interesting, unlike anyone I’d ever known. Liked things I’d never heard of. Added him, and honestly expected rejection or nothing at all.

Funny things about my Astro chart: Scorpio 7th. This guy pulled me like a moth, Scorpio. Aries moon and rising. How in the how I have no idea. How was he single? Later...how would we ever work...

He immediately blew up my inbox flirting after adding me back, and the poking, waving, flirting thing when everyone did it, that was constant, always sending me funny videos of things I’d never seen before but loved.

He was, in every sense, 100% perfect. Looks, attitude, romantic, so ungodly (probably more godly though fr...) sweet it was almost kinda nauseating if you’re not used to it...which I wasn’t. At all.

He worked at the best children’s hospital in the city. He volunteered to hold sick babies, after his shift. He called me on his breaks and insisted I join him for lunch, every shift. He introduced me to all of his friends. He lived on campus in the most beautiful seminary I’ve ever seen. He brought me flowers every time I saw him. He seemed to not need sleep ever because he was stuck on me like glue all hours.

The church thing didn’t bother me at first. I went to an event with him and watched him...he was incredible. It started sinking in slowly. I was too in love with everything I saw & felt that was new.

My bffs bday came and we all went to a party. Had some (a lot) drinks. Idk how it came up, I think as a joke. Someone said so when are you two getting married. And he asked me. I thought he was joking, so I laughed and said absolutely. We’d been dating I think exactly 2 months at that point 😳

Next day. He has me pick out a ring. And I’m like wowww you mean...you really mean it. And I picked out a ring not even thinking really...it was the most incredible road I was walking down, without any of the substance that should’ve been happening inside my own self.

A week later and I guess dad was stalking my MySpace because for our Xmas visit he’s like “have anything you want to tell me?” 🤨

I’m like no 👀 Becauseeee idk. I knew. Something.

So I meet his family. They are incredible. All of them. Accomplished, educated, so amazingly nice all of the time, and brilliant...they all played piano and sang Broadway musical songs in their living room. I was elated. And ashamed. I didn’t belong there, and that gnawing feeling only kept growing. All the inside of my head kept telling me on repeat is “you can’t be a preacher’s wife, who tf are you trying to fool?”

My friend at the time scolded me daily. “DO YOU LOVE HIM??” To my “well...I sure the hell want to” and she’s like “omggg NO, you’re making the biggest mistake, NO”.

Beautiful beautiful boy. I broke his heart the next month. I had to, I felt. I cried too much over my assholier than thou ex to be serious. That serious. Wayyy too serious. So instead I lived out my self proclaimed prophecy of being a douchebag.

Shortly after my friend posted a picture of my much older former boss, to which I had something inappropriate to say to HER not knowing they were friends 🤡 He was in my DMs by midnight...he was in the middle of a divorce and the mistress was...the actual mistress and she was fn crazy so...not having to have that title of drama starter or anything solid, that started quick as a flash. That was just supposed to be fun with no strings, and it was, mostly. That was the whole appeal. I liked that he was (is?) a douchebag, we shared a sort of kinship in that respect. He’s the reason I ever went back to that job, and the only reason I ever met my husband. He’s also the reason I liked my husband so much.

He is Gemini/Cancer with Leo Mars. I tend to have great relationships with both Gemini sims and Cancer moons, though separately. And Cancer moon is so gah damn manipulative. I was so alienated by the bs that the friendship part drowned. Can’t have both. Are you full of shit or is there something, it’s a constant game, which I learned rather quickly. I’d say it was off and on but it never really turned off or on, it just was. Like one egg in that basket, for the yolo.

Hubby is Aqua/Sag with my own Mars, heavy Cap. Polar Opposite.

Could not be more opposite.

And I felt 100% myself, safe, loving...right feels right. It had been some years by the time.

I have no regrets, except not seeing it sooner. My experiences led me the way I was supposed to go.

But I’ll always feel a little sad when I read this book, or am otherwise (quite rarely) reminded of Daniel. I wish I’d have never found him. I don’t think I ever could have believed someone so genuine & wonderful could even exist if I hadn’t though.

Spring Day - Tendou Satori 

Satori had a special, and very welldeveloped knowledge that life could be a big pile of bullshit. Life wasconstantly going downhill for him. Every time he thought he was directingupwards, down he went again.

He had reached a new type of low; onehe hadn’t had the displeasure of experience. 

He kept his loud personality in checkfor the general public, but as soon as the door was closed behind him, hecrumbled. He wasn’t sure how he should manage the whole situation, and itdidn’t matter at all. Either way he was forced to face the absurd pain inside,so why waste time blaming someone.

Her face was all over his nightstandin a silly collage she had made for him once. Her face stared back at him. Itwas only a photograph, but it was enough for him to feel haunted by her.

I’m missing you When I say that, I miss you more Looking at photos of you from before I’m missing you 

 The news had been heartbreaking since the very firstsecond the words escaped her mouth. 

They hadn’t made it. They both had been accepted indifferent colleges several hours from each other. They had applied to the sameones hoping for a match, and in a cruel turn of events, that hadn’t happened.

She was moving far enough to complicate everything. Hecouldn’t simply take a bus. He needed a plain, or a twelve-hour ride just toreach her.

They still had months to spend together back then, butevery day he grew angrier, sadder, but he didn’t show that to her. As days wentby he held her tighter, kissed her longer. He tried to enjoy the time he hadleft with her. The goodbye was inevitable at that point, so what was he supposedto do but to desperately pull her close to him at every chance he got.

Eventually, that dreadful day found its way into thepresent. They had been a mess. She couldn’t stop sobbing as he hugged herkeeping his own tears to himself. ‘I love you’s’ flew around, and the promiseto do everything they could to stay together was repeated a thousand times.

Time obligated them to let go. The memory of herholding on to his hand as he tried to walk to the airport gate wrecked him. Hereyes were glossy, her nose and cheeks were crimson red, and he could see howmuch she was hurting. His hand slipped from hers as his flight was announcedonce more giving a warning to any passenger that hadn’t checked in yet. 

Once he was on the plane, he silently cried the wholeway to his new city. The old lady beside him had been nice enough to not makeany comment. She had simply offered him a pack of paper tissues he had gladlyaccepted.

Why’s itthat time is so cruel? I hate what’s between us two We can’t even see each other anymore even once,

what can we do? 

The first months had been the hardest. He was used tocatch her on the hallways, to sing her name to call for her attention, to thenbe welcomed by a sweet smile. It felt unpleasantly bizarre to realize those dayswere gone, were over. He didn’t have anyone to go to in there. To walk thoseenormous hallways that offered nothing but strange faces felt wrong, making theemptiness inside even bigger. Tendou truly wanted to like college, but he wasfinding impossible to shake the misery away.

He heard her crying through the phone, breaking hisheart even further. They bitterly remembered the plans they had made naively thinkingthey would be together. A couple of silent tears rolled on his face not beingable to detain them anymore. He always made sure to keep his emotions at bay,to never worry her. The phone would be over and he would throw his uselesscellphone to the floor, cover his face with a pillow and scream. Scream fromall the hurt inside. He had only asked for one thing and that had been to bewith her. And he couldn’t even have that. They had been thrown miles apart. 

He had told her that to hear her voice was enough, butit wasn’t. He craved for her. Tendou needed her touch, her warmness, to see herface.

Once he had screamed his heart out, he would alsothrow the pillow to the floor and stare to the nothingness letting the sadness tosettle in.  

He had to wait to see her again, even when his soulwas being ripped to shreds.

Where Iam, it’s always winter In August, it’s like December My heart can only chase after time On a train no one remembers 

The first time they had seen each other again had beenoverwhelming for him. He breathed in her scent as he finally had her in hisarms again. He felt as if the puzzle pieces were falling back together. Hermouth close to his ear was trying to say too many things at once, and he wasn’ttruly listening. He was only hearing her voice, feeling her body against hismaking sure it wasn’t another of his now usual hallucinations where hedesperately did anything to have her next to him. She was there. It was real.

A lazy smile showed on his face as his hand slippedthrough hers intertwining their fingers. 

Being back home had been relieving for his tired bones.He had never thought it would be that hard to be away from everything hecherished. As far as he knew, he was used to certain kind of loneliness, but itwasn’t until he was genuinely alone that he realized how much he had grown outof that lonely kid back in elementary school.

But somehow college was turning him into that kidagain, so it was only natural to start experimenting twinges of worry by hearher talking so effusively about her own experience. In contrast to him, she wasmore than settled, and Tendou began to fear being left behind by her.

He wasn’t good with people, and people had never beengood to him, so he was left without saying anything, lying that he was actuallyenjoying the ride.

And when they had to say their goodbyes once again, there had been tears. Notas many as the last time, and that time around, she was actually excited to go.He tried to not think about the last case scenario, but he could swear she wasslipping away from him.

Is it youthat’s different? Or is it really me that’s different? I hate every moment that’s passing by I guess we’ve both changed I guess everything’s changed 

Every time even the slightest thing changed, Tendounoticed. The constant messages containing funny pictures, or just random messagesbecame less and less. Instead, he heard more and more about people he didn’tknow, and maybe would never get to know. 

What was happening was probably just them getting usedto their new lives, but he couldn’t help thinking they were growing apart. Itwould be a matter of time before he had no part in her life, and that was whatscared him the most.

Eventually he made some friends of his own, he startedto try blending in with the sole purpose of having something he could shelterhimself with in case his relationship ended. He might be at the end of the way,and if he was left forsaken, he needed a life to go back to or he would go downdark paths he hadn’t traveled in too long. Basically, he had made friends outof panic.

And once the small seed of fear had been planted inhim, its bindweeds were overtaking him. The more it grew, the more trapped hewas. He could be making friends, but none of them had any idea what was goingon. Inside he was shaking, breaking, slowly crumbling. The dreading end of hisrelationship had him with one foot over the edge.

On spring she announced she would be going one week to one of her brand newfriends beach house instead of back home. They had a video call as she packedfor it. She seemed so happy and shimmering as she told him all about it andabout all the people that was going as well. He nodded and kept a relaxexpression as he watched going from corner to corner picking up the things sheneeded. A bindweed started circling his neck, starting to choke him. He spentall those months waiting. Waiting for the next time she picked up the phone, orcall him back. Waiting to have her with him even for a little while. He hadspent half of his first year in college seated in a waiting room. 

In the other hand, she had carry on naturally. Hewasn’t taken in consideration. They already had so little time to spendtogether, and she was now selfishly reducing that time. He could have gone withthem. She could have invited him. And that line of thought worsened his state.

Self-doubt was added into the mix. Why was she keepinghim apart from her new life? Was she even invested in them at all? Millions ofquestions sprouted on his head, questions that were as brushwood and werefeeding the already existing fire in him.

Snowflakesfalling from the sky Are drifting further by and by How much longer do I wait? How many sleepless nights remain? 

It was reasonable for him to snap. She was back and hewas trying to control himself from bursting. He was supposed to enjoy the fewdays he had with her. Yet, it was impossible to do so when she couldn’t simplystop bragging about how amazing her trip, her friends were. How wonderfulthings were even without him. He had been absently staring at something, ornothing. He wasn’t even paying attention. He was thinking, considering wherethings had turned like that… Tendou didn’t want her to be as miserable as him.It was a horrendous experience to be unable to be happy. He loved her. And thatthe same time he wished she were. It would be nice if she could feel what hewas feeling, because there has been weeks since the last time he felt needed byher. 

“Are you okay, Satori?” she suddenly asked. He turnedto see her with his lidded eyes that portrayed nothing but boringness. He gazedat her with such lack of emotions she took a step back. “Satori?” she calledhim again.

“Do you even miss me anymore?” he finally asked whenthe bindweed was finally threating to snap his neck. She stood speechless for abrief second.

“Of course I miss you.”

“Bullshit,” he whispered still gazing at her, not evenblinking. The bindweeds had his whole body under their control making him feelnumb. Her eyes started to crystalize and all sympathy he would normally showwas nonexistent. He didn’t feel bad for her, his own grief was big enough totake all available space inside him. 

“Bullshit? How can you say that?” 

“Do you think I don’t notice? You have a better lifein college. Let’s simply face that, okay?” her mouth silently stuttered failingat speaking. He huffed and stood up from the coach. “Well, it’s nice to know atleast one of us is having a good time.” 

He picked up his jacket and started to walk to theexit. He needed to get out of there. He always knew he wouldn’t be able to facethe end. Then a sob sounded so delicately across the room he had to turnaround. At the edge of the couch she was bended, hiding her face between herlegs. His eyes slightly opened in surprised.

“_______,” Tendou said her name out loud. She raisedher head as thin streams went down her face.

“You aren’t happy?” she inquired. He stooduncomfortable, ashamed to accept the truth, but still, he did. He shook hishead. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“It was obvious, wasn’t it? We were supposed to go tocollege together,” he answered in what seemed almost like a whisper.

“But, you were making friends and all…” He scuffedmaking her stop mid sentence. She swallowed hard before speaking again, andwith that he guessed a hard statement was about to be dropped. “Do I make youunhappy?”

Tendou sighed. “Lately… yes.” He saw hurt crossingacross her face. He didn’t understand why would she be hurt. 

“That’s why you been different? You don’t want thisanymore?” 

He studied the questions in his head making sense ofthem. He hadn’t been acting different; she had been drifting away from him. Andby ‘this’, well, he didn’t want so many things by then she would need toelaborate. 

“I haven’t been different.” 

“Through the phone you sound so distant, as if youdon’t even want to talk to me, or you’re simply tired of… us.”

“Tired of us? I think is the other way around. You have been the one too busyto make time for us. Do your new friends even know you have a boyfriend? Or areyou too ashamed of me now?”

“Sometimes I have to study for my exams, or myprojects. I wish I could spend all my time with you, Satori, but I have otherresponsibilities,” she said between weeps. “And of course they fucking knowabout you. I don’t understand what I have done wrong.” 

They stayed in silence not looking at the other. Boththeir eyes were desolated. It was Tendou’s turn to say something, to throw thenext line into an argument that suddenly seemed useless. He had demons, andthose demons spoke louder than everything from time to time. A spark of reasonignited in him.

With slow steps he went back to the couch and droppedto her side. His hands shuffle on his hair messing his outstanding combed hairas he carefully picked up his words, and gathered some courage.

“I felt ditched out by you.”

“I never meant to make you feel that way. We can haveother friends, a different life without abandoning each other, ya’know? Justbecause I have new friends, it doesn’t mean I will forget about you. I love you, whywould you ever doubt that?” 

He sadly smirked not missing the fact that she stillused the ‘ya’know’ she had acquired by spending too much time with him. Andtime had done too much to them, but it was exactly time to say what he had beenhiding from her.

“I’m afraid you will leave me. You have a new world to explore, and I thoughtthat… you would find something better. I felt as if you were better without me,”The words felt heavy as he confessed. He was also amazed that he was able tokeep his own tears in place.

“I don’t,” she said almost desperately. “I miss youall the time. I hate that you can’t come with me to my plans, or that I can’tshow you around. I was afraid, too. You have been acting so strange, and I could tell something was off, so I thought you were done with us.”

“So both of us have been ruining our relationshipwithout even knowing it.”

“We haven’t ruined a thing,” she said as she took oneof his hands between hers. “We still have us. At least, I still want this.” 

“What is ‘this’?” he asked finally looking back ather. Her eyes were a tad swollen, and she was still crying, but right betweenthe mess he could see what he thought was over. 

“You and me together. I still want to be with you, butif you think it isn’t a good idea, I won’t push you to agree with me.”

Tendou shook his head again. The bindweeds lost theirgrip on him. He was beginning to feel lighter, and as if a sledgehammer had slammedhim with an incredibly might at the same time. He freed the hand she washolding to pull her close to him. He lay back on the couch forcing her to lie ontop of him. He nuzzled his nose on her hair letting the coldness that had inhabited him for the past months melt. He had been awfully wrong. He had thought the worst of her. But she wasn’t going anywhere. And he wouldn’t let her. 

“I think it’s a good idea.”

After thecold winter ends Until spring decides to come again Until flowers, they bloom again Please stay where you are and wait for me Please wait for me.

I’m hoping to visit Croatia at the end of august, if everything goes according to plan/covid doesn’t once again wreck my plans. I grew up in the northwestern US, and there people joke that the seasons are “fire season, road construction, winter” and winters are regularly so much snow, windy, and -20°, so not ideal conditions for enjoying them. Have you been to Grand Canyon or any of the other national parks in the southwest? They all look so beautiful, that’s one part of the US I would definitely like to see more of.

Hello, Drew! Chaos feels like the natural order of the world lately. It’s fine if you miss a day or two! I understand.

I actually never really wanted to be married myself. I figured if I did, I’d be at least 30. I wanted to get school done first. Then, after my previous relationship, I decided I wanted to be alone. Fate had different plans. I also wasn’t sure I wanted kids. Changed my mind. However one is plenty. One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone invalidates a person’s choices by saying “oh you’ll change your mind”. So even though I changed mine, I won’t be implying or outright denying that you don’t know your own mind.

My wedding was small. We eloped. It was a complicated situation with his family at the time, and we had decided to have the protection of a legal document since we were living together anyway. We picked randomly picked the day. Turned out to be Valentine’s Day. So, I, along with millions of other people, got married at a court house. In fact, someone was wearing my same dress that day! It was awkward. We have yet to have any celebration outside of that day. It was just my immediate family. However, I’ve never regretted marrying him and I still look back fondly on it. Fun fact: his parents found out we were married after we totaled their truck a few months later. Not so fun fact: that was the scariest accident I’ve been in to date. Accident wasn’t our fault and at least in this accident I had airbags. Ever been in an accident? Or in one without modern crash technology? It’s not very fun. Hurts a lot. I remember having to tell my father in law, on the side of the road, that Chase and I had actually gotten married. He was stunned but super supportive. Like I previously said, it was complicated . And I can get into it more, but there’s so much else to address right now!

We really like sitting in silence on our phones together! 😂 We are one of those annoying couples who like to do everything together. We are practically attached at the hip and the pandemic has only made it worse. He’s really interested in getting into D&D. We like playing video games together. We both love swimming. We both really want to travel. I’d love to take him to Europe. We like movies. But we both compliment our different likes and knowledge. He loves animated movies and animes and I love books. We both love art. He’s so good. He lets me do his makeup and nails from time to time. It doesn’t bother him at all. But not only that he’s really helpful at making sure I get my medicines and that I get rest when I need it. Throughout the lockdown he’d do all the running around so I wouldn’t have to go out since I’m immuno compromised. Sometimes I feel like he’s too good to me and the kid. I try to give back what I can. But honestly, he’s my best friend too.

Ahem. Enough gushing.

Other than some musicals and local symphonies, I’ve never been to any other concerts! Weird. I know! I’ve wanted to but never have. I’ve always wanted to see Imagine Dragons. Or Panic! at the Disco. There’s a few artists actually, I’d love to go see.

Croatia is BEAUTIFUL. My time in Europe was 2 weeks during July. I’m in love with it. If you go, Rijeka is wonderful. But near Rijeka is a mountain town called Fužine. It’s MAGICAL. I spent most of my time there. One of the upsides to staying in Rijeka is that it’s just a few hours away from Venice, too. Which. Was also breathtaking. I cried at the beauty of it. I have pictures of these places and I love looking at them. But they also make me a little sad. For multiple reasons. We had a layover in Munich on our way home and so we spent two days there as well. We drove up to the Neuschwanstein castle. It was amazing. But the most harrowing part of that stop was at the site of Dachau. I will never forget the heaviness of it. I had to stop halfway through. It was too much for my sensitivity. A privilege I will never forget.

I was able to visit Idaho (Rexburg) during October and December one year and I loved it. I’ve only ever been to Washington (coastal) and Oregon during the summer months. I wanted to go to school in Washington, originally. Thought I’d move up there. Now the goal is to ultimately expat. Canada, likely. We will see if that ever pans out, though.

I’ve been to the Grand Canyon once when I was 10 or 11(?). We went during December to ride the “Polar Express”. It’s a special event they run during the winter months before Christmas. We were snowed in so we stayed an extra day and took the train to the Grand Canyon. So I got to see it all snowy and clear. It’s gorgeous and I highly recommend it once. I don’t know if I would ever really go back but I might take the kid someday. I at least want her to go on the Polar Express ride. It’s cute and fun for the kids. I was a little too old to fully enjoy it, but my little sister was roughly the right age.

I’ve been to several places in Arizona. The missions, Jerome, and I’ve also been to some places in Colorado and New Mexico. I can’t recall all their names off the top of my head and it was a long time ago.

I greatly appreciate anyone who can write poetry. It is not my forte. They come out childish and awkward. So, I keep those to myself. I write anything and everything. I have several stories, but three top priority right now. One is complete but needs serious reworking and revision. I started it when I was 15. It’s a paranormal mystery with romance. The second one is a fantasy that I started with a friend when I was 14/15. It has its own world and has taken on a life of its own since then. It’s massive. And the third one is a coming of age story. It’s my most delicate one. I started it when I was 21. I have shared an excerpt on tumblr of this one. It’s my most complicated one yet. Like any artist, I’m constantly second guessing my work and lamenting my talent.

This weekend has been mostly spent recharging. I’ve been helping my mom with a project. And of course swimming. I’m a child at heart and I bought myself a mermaid tail. I’ve elevated my pool game. It’s so much fun but my body is yelling at me. I’m not as energetic as I was in my youth. You mentioned marching band? You and I really do have much in common! Not only are you a flautist, but a marching one at that?! I marched in high for two years. I loved it but I started to get burned out. And then I started horseback riding and planned to do that instead. My parents couldn’t afford to do both. And then I caught mono. Looking back, I understand why my mono knocked me out for so long (it’s linked to my autoimmune issues) but at the time every one of my friends thought I was being dramatic. It was kind of a horrible experience. So even if I had signed up for band my junior year, I would’ve had to quit. And then my senior year I signed up for this program that put me through a college program to get my EMT-B. I didn’t take band at all that year. Now I just play for myself. Ideally I’d learn every instrument.

I actually couldn’t sing very well for the longest time. Which was ironic because my mom was operatically trained. My older sister was also trained. And my little sister preferred chorus to band. I ended up teaching myself later. So now I don’t sound terrible but I’m not going to take my solo act on the road anytime soon.

If I can teach myself makeup, art, instruments, and other various things, then maybe I can also someday be brave enough to put myself out there on the internet. And if I do, I will definitely let you know! I will at least have 3 subscribers. 😂

Chrono Trigger Part 2 - Unity Against Lavos & The Parting of Friends

I kinda wish everyone could talk, it’s kinda annoying that only the ones that are in your party will talk. It’s like, I honestly prefer using Frog and Ayla in battle, but story-wise, I much prefer to hear what Lucca and Marle have to say, sigh, such a dilemma lol. Wow, I love Enhasa already. It’s so awesome how you can interact with the book and it goes on fire! Like whoa did not expect that, how cool! Also love how that yellow NPC near the door just up and disappeared, like it really simply and straightforwardly showed how interestingly crazy this place is haha. Wow, I didn’t realise you actually had to open the water, wind and fire books in that order to open a secret door, I just thought it was fun LOL. Okay, those Nu were frustrating when I had a party of Lucca and Marle lol, had to use Frog and Ayla instead to win hahaha, it’s hard to win, they always take you to one HP! If only Marle could cure all loll. Hmm so Janus is probably the prince of this land that supposedly has no magical powers, and was the one with the cat telling Crono and them that they’re going to lose someone important? Lady Schala is his sister and…she’s the one that Kid from Chrono Cross is supposedly a clone of or something right? And Schala has an abundance of magical power apparently~ Hmm, I wonder if the Queen has become crazy or something ever since this random advisor accurately predicting the future appeared, it also sounds pretty crazy that they’re supposedly harvesting power from the Lavos?! Gotta love how our party just loves to jump headfirst into danger, we literally just enhanced the pendant with that glow and jumped into the Queen’s chambers hahahah. I wonder why Marle’s pendant is so unique though. And why does it look identical to Schala’s? Schala seems to be the only one that wants to actually save the kingdom of Zeal before the Queen leads it to ruin by listening to the evil prophet. That golem was easier to kill than the Nu hahaha. I’m shocked that Schala is capable of sealing the gate of passage between the different times though!

Hmmm okay, so the Lavos fell from the sky and then burrowed itself into the planet’s core to suck up all its energy to grow stronger…I wonder if it does that to lots of planets or something. Magus revealed its form and then now it’s taken Death Peak as its throne with the Lavos miniature spawn flowing from the mountaintop making people unable to go near it. I…feel so sorry for Belthasar though… Not only was he trapped in this time, but he was all alone… It’s great that he left all this knowledge and technology behind and it ends up helping Crono and them stop Lavos, but it’s just saddening to think that he spent all this time by himself until old age and probably even into insanity because he felt the need to write down his knowledge before he lost it all. The Epoch is so cool though! To think there’s a machine that can just zoom through to any era we’ve visited! The contrast between the living standards of the Earthbound ones (that possess no magic) and the others is pretty apparent, it’s basically peasants and royalty. It seems that Janus actually does possess latent power that surpasses Schala though (according to Melchior who has been banished to the mountain of woe by the Queen for disagreeing with her harnessing the power of Lavos through the Mammon machine). Honestly though, since Belthasar was one of the gurus of the Zeal kingdom (Guru of Reason), I’m very interested in what the Guru of Life Melchior would be capable of. And I wonder what the last guru is doing now? Getting to Melchior was pretty easy, but it’s kinda saddening how powerless the party feels against Dalton and the Queen, especially since they keep using either the party’s lives or Schala’s life as a hostage. Prettyyyy crazy that they’re trying to achieve immortality through the power of the Lavos, like wow, are any of these people in the castle sane?

Omg, I never expected Crono to use Luminaire! It’s kinda crazy how many things Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross have in common/referenced. Those Golem sisters/twins were so annoying!! I guess Crono constantly countering them made it so much worse because they just kept countering each other, so I kept dying loll. Well, Lavos just wrecked us badly! Lol! Crono actually survived the first hit though hahaha. Anyway, I’m not sure why I never realised that the Prophet was Magus, like who else could it be?! Hahaha. I wonder why he’s adamant on killing Lavos though. As expected, Magus couldn’t really do anything against him. What was the power Crono showed, was it just his willpower accompanied with something else? Did he really “die” like Janus foresaw? I find it so saddening that so many people died though. I know Schala used her power to get everyone to safety and asked them to not hate her mother or the kingdom and what they had done, but seriously, look at the destruction, look at all the people that had died! They’re literally left with one village worth of people! Her mother was their leader and she led them all to their deaths with her decisions. Lmaoo at what a shit Dalton is. And lmao at the party for getting tricked by him and then getting sent to like a jail or whatever lol. I feel sorry for the rest of the Zeal people though, they’re obviously powerless against Dalton so they probably are forced to listen to him even though they’re so positive about rebuilding… Sigh. Yay, I’m glad we kicked him out for the Zeal kingdom, now they can really properly live in peace! So glad I took Ayla with me since you lose all your equipment, Ayla just uses her fists so it’s all good lolll.

I….honestly didn’t think that the ritual back then where the Gurus were forced by the Queen to activate the Mammon machine (even though they told her it absorbed too much power and could create a dimensional vortex) caused them to be transported to Lavos and then proceedingly sent to different time eras. I didn’t think about that old man in the End of Time to be Gaspar, one of the Gurus! It’s pretty saddening though, everyone basically lived in different worlds after that, but I guess the most innocent one was Magus/Janus who just went to look for his sister, but then got dragged into it, and ended up getting sent to the Middle Ages all alone… It’s kinda ironic isn’t it? The reason he could be a prophet here was because he came from the future, but at the same time, Magus actually belongs in the castle anyway. It’s just saddening that instead of wanting to reunite with his family, he instead survived all this time hoping to summon Lavos again and destroy it for everything that happened. Okay, I didn’t expect to be able to get Magus to join the party! That’s crazy yet cool! I wonder how Frog really feels about it all though, I mean, they’re prioritising saving/reviving Crono right now, but it would be terrible to fight alongside the guy that turned you into a frog and killed your friend… I mean, I understand Magus’ motivations, but it doesn’t change the fact he killed a lot of people in the process of achieving all this. Anyway, I love how Magus flies instead of walking like a peasant lmaooo. Honestly though, I find it kinda sweet how Magus’ accessory is Schala’s amulet, he’s kept it for all these years. I wonder how he felt when he saw her again after all this time…

I’m so glad I can just follow the walkthrough to find all those magic chests we couldn’t open before! I totally forgot where they were hahah. I really liked the idea of the blue vest/plate one though! It’s so cool how it’s like a heirloom or something that the family have kept all this time, so if you get it in 600AD, it’s a blue vest, but if you choose to get it in 1000AD instead, it upgrades into a blue plate! It’s such a cool idea! No idea why it doesn’t downgrade instead but it’s cool! I guess the coolest thing is that Truce Inn survived for 400 years! Ohh wait, you can get both the vest and the plate! Lmaoo, the benefits of time traveling hahahah. I have to admit, it’s kinda weird yet hilarious how when you go to Guardia Castle with Frog and talk to the King and Queen, they praise Frog and thank him blah blah even though Magus is in my party too haha! Why is that Chancellor in Marle/Nadia’s time so dodgy? Is he trying to create a rift between Marle and her father so he can overthrow them or something? Ohhh, Toma the explorer gives you some spirits to pour on his grave if anything were to happen to him! I was wondering who that Toma guy was since he got his own area for a grave but apparently he’s been looking for rainbow shells his whole life. The side quest with Cyrus’ ghost was rather saddening yet nice, I liked how Cyrus really was a true friend and only hoped for the best for Glenn, I’m happy that Frog got to see him and hear that he was proud of the warrior he is today.

Omggg it was honestly so hard to get Crono’s doll clone (as a new body), my buttons are all different and I had no idea what was X and Y etc lol, I ended up having to change the keyboard controls loll. Anyway, aside from that, I also completely forgot where Crono’s house was LOL. Omggg climbing the monster’s shell at Death Peak to climb higher was something I did not expect! Thought the monster was going to revive and attack me lmao. Ohh how interesting, the Chrono Trigger/Time Egg that the Guru of Time aka Gaspar gave to the party allowed them to travel back to right before Crono died?! That’s really cool and interesting though! The fact that they could really just swap his doll for him so that the doll will die instead, and then come back to the present with him. It was honestly so cute to see Lucca hug Crono after getting him back. I loved that moment! Although I didn’t mind a party without Crono (since he doesn’t talk lmao), but walking around and doing stuff without him just felt weird haha.

Gonna do some side quests before the ending so here we go! I love that Ozzie is still alive with his own fort because lmaoo he’s such a silly villain. Loved it when he got some monsters to go against the party and they fell into his own trap because of him lol. They really dislike Magus for joining the humans though lol. LOL at him trying to tempt Crono and them with a treasure chest next to a guillotine hahahaha, the poor imp that got sacrificed though, he just wanted treasure! LMAO at the random cat that came out of nowhere and pressed a switch and caused Ozzie to fall into a hole hahahahaha. Wow, Son of the Sun was so annoying! That stupid roulette to do damage on him lol! It’s really interesting to see and know that you can get the moon stone to get enough Sun by placing it there in Ayla’s time and then just coming back to get it in the present, it’s so crazy loll! Spiced jerky for 9900G?!?! Wow, that is the craziest price ever lol. Okay, wow, that jerky was worth it. I can’t believe we gave it to the family of elders/mayor in 600AD, and because we gave that jerky to the mother for free, she decided that there’s hope and love in sharing with people in this world instead of just believing in money, and because of that, the mayor in 1000AD is now super generous and gives you the moon stone that came into his possession! That’s so crazy but amazing! Lol! I also love the different dialogue by the children and the wife. Previously, the children hated the father and the wife was sad that her husband and the children weren’t getting along at all, but now they love him and she kinda wants him to be just a little less generous lmao. The power of spiced jerky indeed. 

Really gotta respect Lucca, like dang, she really knew how to utilise that Sun stone and make something good! Lmao that on her Wondershot, it says play time determines your damage lol! Anyway, I love how Taban is just as crazy amazing as she is and made sunglasses too! It was also really sweet how he made a suit and a helm for Lucca to protect her, he’s such a great dad! The only thing is that the dialogue of the other daughter (LOL, my bad, I realised later that it’s actually Lucca’s mum) seems to still feel kinda left out, I wonder if she’ll be happy later on? It’s saddening that Toma is dead, but I love how his spirit comes to tell them that he found the Rainbow Shell! At least he actually found it!! Now it just comes to Crono and them to actually get it! Okay omg, I didn’t expect to be able to get Crono to sit on the chair and laugh like a maniac at Giant’s Claw LOL, that was so random but awesome. It’s actually kinda amazing that the Chancellor is framing the King (Marle’s dad) for selling off the “royal heirloom” a Rainbow Shell, guess we should be glad we actually do have it when the Chancellor kinda just made it up because he probably thought it would be impossible to find. Lmao, I love Marle. First, she screams and just charges right into the trial, and then when she gets thrown out, she gets evidence of the rainbow shell and then jumps right into the trial through the back hahaha, she’s so cool. The Chancellor was a monster gg! I love how much Leene and them from 600AD revered Crono as a hero, they even made a dish called Crono Special that you can eat here in the present! LOLL I didn’t expect the real Chancellor to be locked up in the treasure chest hahahah! The reconciliation between Marle and her father was pretty heartwarming. They really just never properly communicated and that caused their rift, so I guess it was good that this all happened haha! Gotta give it to Melchior for being able to forge such good weapons and armour in a jiffy with the rainbow shell!

It’s so cool how when you lend Robo to Fiona to make the land green again, you actually see him on the world map grazing stuff hahahah. Wow, Robo literally worked for like 400 years until he practically “died”, at least there’s a nice green forest now, and Lucca has fixed him up! I wonder what exactly these Gates want the party to do, is there some kind of mastermind wanting them to do something throughout the ages? Ohhh Lara is Lucca’s mum! She looks so young! Lol. Anyway, I see, so the reason why Lucca is so obsessed with science, engineering and everything is because her mum nearly got killed by Taban’s contraption when he wasn’t home, so she vowed to learn everything about it all so that it won’t happen ever again. I honestly thought she was just interested because of her Dad, but really, it was because of her mum, she even used to hate it because her dad forgot about promises with her due to research. Oh, so Geno Dome is the actual place Robo is from? His real name is Prometheus? Was Atropos his “partner”? Love how she was a pink robot with a flower lmao, so simple but cute and straightforwardly tells you she’s a girl haha. Kinda sad that this “Mother” overwrote her programs and made her attack Robo and other humans. I wonder who took over them all…or did Atropos and Robo get too “kind” and that didn’t align with their expectations of having these robots befriend humans to get information and knowledge about them to destroy the humans and take over the world? Omg that mother boss was so easy after I learnt my lesson and didn’t use Magus to kill all the panels lmao.

It’s pretty insane how the Queen was the one who caused and allowed Lavos to get enough power in the 999 years to lead to the destruction of the world in 1999AD. Anyway, the Black Omen was kinda long but not hard so I guess that’s okay. The stupid Nu sent me back to the beginning because I pressed the button too fast zzzz, had to walk it again sigh. The Queen is ugly loll. Anyway, Lavos with different attack modes (copying from various monsters and bosses we’ve fought throughout the game) was pretty interesting! I forgot a lot of them but it’s pretty cool to see him utilising the info he gathered from the world to try and kill us. Lavos’ core was not what I thought I needed to kill in the last battle hahaha, I kept thinking it was the middle one I needed to kill but it was actually the thing on the right lmao! 

I thought it was really cool of Lucca to bring everyone from the past and the future in one place at Guardia Castle and thank Crono for saving their respective worlds and the whole of time, it felt so wholesome and sweet. I don’t know why I never made the connection, but when Lucca went back and saved her mother Lara from the “accident” that caused her to be bound to her chair, it ended up changing the present, so now she’s running about and seems like a happier person now. It was honestly kind of saddening to see Crono part with everyone. I thought it was so adorable that Ayla and Kino (mostly Ayla trying to get it through his thick head lol) are planning on having lots of kids together to be the proper ancestors of Marle etc haha. It was nice to see Marle the princess kiss Frog hahaha, that was cute! Alike Robo, I’m hopeful that in the future, Robo will still be around, just because 1999AD isn’t destroyed by Lavos anymore doesn’t mean he definitely won’t exist! Lucca crying over it was really cute though. I guess the only one whose journey hasn’t ended would be Magus, since he’s going on a journey to find Schala. I hope he’s successful. 

Okay lmao at the ending where Crono’s cat jumps into the gate because Crono never fed him LOL, omg when his mum followed it hahahah. I see why when you talk to the cat at Crono’s house, it says you fed 0 food lolll! I wonder if it’s actually possible to feed it? At least that means Lucca, Marle and Crono will go on another adventure to find his mother haha! Okay, omg, I didn’t expect Crono and Marle to get married, I honestly shipped Crono and Lucca!! I love Lucca much more!! I’m so sad right now. I guess at least Robo got together with Atropos, so cute to see them watch the sky together. Nice to see Frog/Glenn continuing to be a cool knight, and omggg, he looks good as a human! I’m happy that Lucca seems great with her robot friend, but who was that baby she picked up? Omgggg it’s apparently Kid from Chrono Cross who is Schala’s daughter-clone!! Yep, time to play Chrono Cross again, but now with the knowledge of Chrono Trigger so let’s see if it feels any better haha. I know they’re not thaaat connected but they still are since it’s the same world so let’s see!~

Overall, I really enjoyed Chrono Trigger. I think the main reason I liked it was because it was just really fun and enjoyable! Like, it has a lot of the elements that make it a classic JRPG with your party saving the world and going on a cool adventure whilst bonding with the people you find along the way kinda thing, and it does it in a really fun way. Considering the story involves time travel, I honestly thought it would be complicated and a bit crazy, but it was actually really simple and definitely more of an entertaining experience above all else. There were heartwarming moments with the party, serious moments with Magus’ story and fun moments with time travelling, and I think as a whole it really made everything come together in a satisfying way where it delved into a bit of everything. I have my gripes here and there about stuff like silent protagonists, and how I would have liked it if it was a bit longer so it could have more character interactions since the world building was already so great, but I think as a whole, Chrono Trigger was pretty awesome especially considering how old it is! XD

Chocolate Temptation Part 3 - Mitsuki Aoi Route

Omggg I dislike Mitsuki’s music gahh, it’s annoying lol. Anyway, it’s kinda cute how he gets embarrassed at people watching him work so closely when he’s decorating chocolate. I guess he’s similar with Jin in that he doesn’t seem very nice hahaha, except they don’t seem like it for different reasons. For Jin, he’s just disinterested in anything aside from chocolate, whereas Mitsuki’s very shy so he doesn’t like it when people focus on him. I’m not sure how old Mitsuki is supposed to be but he’s a man huh?! He looks rather childish so I kinda forget lmao. He just kinda reminded me when he told the heroine that she’ll be cooking for four grown men since it’s her turn to cook dinner tonight and Mitsuki went grocery shopping with her.

Why are crazy fangirls always so.. crazy? Sigh. Look at what they did! Pushed the heroine on to the road, making Mitsuki have to save her from the car but then twist his ankle or whatever and break his bone instead! Are you happy now that you injured the guy you like?! Sigh, these fangirls in all these games and stories really need to get their act together on what their priorities are. I’m surprised Mitsuki is so popular with all the girls everywhere lol. I guess it’s because he’s cute. And him being shy just makes people love him even more lol. I think Mitsuki is so adorable to have this “chocolate zone” where he goes into a trance and talks about what kind of chocolates he wants to make after an idea comes to him, it’s nice listening to his ideas since they sound interesting and he’s so serious about it, so you can really see how cool he is too!

Mitsuki’s starting to warm up to the heroine, he even rushed out to help her when she forgot the prices of some chocolates even though he absolutely hates facing customers! Mitsuki’s chocolates lack the strength in not caring about what other people think about his products huh? Tbh, I think I have a similar problem. Although I try my best to stop other people’s thoughts and opinions to sway or hinder what I choose to do, it ends up affecting me either way. I think I also lack the experience to be confident in myself at work, I guess I gotta try and improve myself along with Mitsuki haha! Just as Mitsuki is not really making the kind of chocolates he really wants to make, I’m also in the same position where the fear of what others will think stops me from doing things the way I want and should. Life is difficult😅😅

Lmao at Mitsuki saying the heroine does so much work for her mook but doesn’t do much at the shop🤣 He made up for being rude by telling her he knows that because he’s always looking at her when he’s making chocolate, so cute☺️ After he bonded with her talking about his reasons for designing whatever chocolates, Mitsuki has been so bold by talking to her first and even saying such adorable things like he’s happy to see her first thing in the morning! Kyaa, so cuteee~ I think, just like the heroine, even though Mitsuki is younger, your heart can’t help but flutter when he’s so innocent and sweet like he is now.

Ohh so Mitsuki is 19, wonder if the heroine is like 24 or something then. I guess yeah, that would be a big hurdle to overcome, he’s like young and just starting to blossom and find his ground in society and as a chocolatier so she doesn’t want to like “prey” on him haha. But he’s so cuteeeee, he immediately said yes when she asked him if he was free tonight before she even said what she wanted him for lolll. Then he says he’s happy as long as he can spend time with her? C'mon Mitsuki, don’t play with her heart like this hahaha. Aww she dressed up and he called her pretty and cute, then played with her hair saying it was fluffy🤣🤣 He’s so innocent, I’m dying🤣

Aww the dinner went so well until the heroine sneakily paid the bill without telling him~ Bills always kill the mood lmao. I can understand how both Mitsuki and the heroine feels though, Mitsuki earns money and is capable so having someone else pay for him makes it seem like she’s treating him like a kid, and he wanted to go along as well, so she shouldn’t have to pay for his half. Whereas, for her, it’s true that the company will cover for it anyway, and she did spontaneously get him to come out and didn’t even tell him what place it was and took him there so she probably felt rude if she didn’t pay for his share. But yeah, it’s a problem that isn’t really about the bill but more about how they view their age difference in the end, so they’ll have to solve it either way, the bill just happened to trigger it haha.

So cute how Mitsuki wanted to pay her back by shouting her for like another date and got her to meet up with him at the park so that Jun wouldn’t be able to tease them hahahah. Hearing a guy say that seeing you motivates him to push himself and work harder and that it brightens up his day is like omg, so sweet, how does Mitsuki even say these things out loud so easily?! It’s kinda cute how all the brothers can tell that Mitsuki really likes the heroine and are very protective of him haha, it’s so nice to see them care about him so much. And it’s funny how the heroine can’t tell at all lmaoo. Mitsuki and Ibuki competing on TV?! Guess Mitsuki’s gonna try his best to beat him now since he thinks that the heroine might get stolen away by Ibuki so he wouldn’t want to lose, he’s already losing in terms of age so I’m sure he doesn’t want to lose in other aspects he can control haha.

Omg, they’re making a piece montee for the competition and the time limit is 10 hours! How do people even concentrate for that long… Dang, Mitsuki is so straightforward, it’s hard to believe he used to be so shy that he couldn’t even talk to the heroine. He’s practically declared that he likes her by saying he doesn’t want her to be stolen by Ibuki haha. Young people these days🤣 But I guess it does help for the heroine to talk to her friend at work about Mitsuki, since she really helped her understand how she really felt and how even though the heroine is worried about the age gap, the friend can tell that she really likes him and that’s much more important than the age gap. I mean, Mitsuki is pretty level headed and even though he may be inexperienced, he can be mature as well so they’ll be fine together! I always find it so amazing how someone just being there beside you can put you so at ease, it’s pretty cool.

Mitsuki is so bold to actually kiss the heroine! He’s younger but he’s really forward! Legit just kept going once she was like, it’s okay, she doesn’t not like it😆 Mitsuki is so stubborn about only asking her to be his girlfriend after he wins the competition even though he wants to keep kissing her lmao. It was obvious that Mitsuki was making a piece montee of the flower bouquet the heroine gave him in the beginning when he was in the hospital that inspired him and made him know her better, but seeing the heroine realise the depth of his feelings and his thoughts behind the piece was really sweet. The happy ending was good but omg the super happy ending seems so nice and fun since Mitsuki and the heroine are home alone together for the whole week~~ honestly though, if Jin and Ibuki always do these last minute going to weddings etc for work, I still think they should hire someone to help out, like seriously, what would they have done if the heroine wasn’t there?? It would have been just Mitsuki working and how could he handle making chocolate and the customer service?? Anywho, now they can bond alone without anyone interrupting them I guess lol.

Lol, they’ve kissed so many times already and yet they’re still so embarrassed over an accidental kiss lolll. Mitsuki smelling of vanilla and cocoa sounds so good, I bet it smells so delicious and comforting 🤣 Hmmmm I feel like the heroine was much stronger before they started dating. Now, all she does is pretty much cry and be a big baby so that it can show how mature Mitsuki is… Really, two mature people can be together you know… One of them doesn’t need to be inferior or be like a baby for the relationship to work… Sigh. But now that they’re finally together, lol I thought they were together ages ago and knew their feelings but maybe I was getting the happy and super happy ending mixed up lol. Anyway!!! The chocolate making lessons are such a great idea! The chocolates of happiness can only be made by people who care about each other and stuff so teaching people the skills to do it together would create that happiness. I totally would join if there was one here! The ending nicely rounded everything up with them thinking of different ways people could make these chocolates of happiness together😊

Season 2

Back to the competition story as usual, let’s see how it goes~~ I guess since both Mitsuki and Tokita are Dino’s apprentices, they’re going to be rivals in chocolate and love too? Loll. Since they both seem to care a lot about the heroine. I guess a nice difference in this story is that Mitsuki is teamed up with another girl for the competition haha. Otherwise, the heroine and Mitsuki are frustrating me to no end with their lack of communication, coming to pointless conclusions and acting like children gahhh. They were so much more level headed in the first story like seriously…

Anyway, the heroine and Mitsuki continue to be irritating with them doing what they think is best without properly communicating because they’re scared of facing the other and other crap like that, which is very annoying. I also hateee that in every route, all the guys have to love the heroine and create some sort of rivalry. Like, you can kinda see why Tokita is interested in her, but seriously guys, she’s Mitsuki’s girlfriend, hands off, okay?!?! Like, c'mon. It’s just unnecessary love drama trying to push the relationship forward when really, the problem isn’t whether they love each other, it’s that they’re not talking to each other properly. Also, honestly don’t know why the heroine took so long to reject Tokita when she was obviously not interested. Not wanting to hurt him is such a shitty reason since unless she’s really considering him (which she wasn’t!), then she’s going to hurt him either way, might as well make it clear to him asap so that Mitsuki won’t feel so insecure, like dude, you can’t blame Mitsuki for thinking she’ll get stolen when she can’t even reject a guy when she’s already in a relationship. Know your priorities, woman! I also don’t understand what is with these games etc where guys don’t give up on trying to get the attention of someone else’s girlfriend, like seriously? Is that romantic? Do people like this shit? It’s not even like the boyfriend is trash and a jerk or whatever, they’re good people trying to progress their relationship and like they’re all friends too like wtf? Go somewhere else, ugh, I hate these stupid love triangles and fruitless unrequited loves that are ridiculous.

Anyway, the usual Eleanor stuff and chocolate competition happens but wow, didn’t expect Mitsuki to practically propose to her already lol, so young and committed! Didn’t realise that they had a mother, it might have been mentioned somewhere but yeah wow, she really hasn’t been watching over her children and their shop lol. I liked Mitsuki’s perspective for the tournament though, because really, it didn’t show anything about the the chocolate making and then they won, so it was nice to see that Mitsuki understood what his qualities were and remembered why he likes to make chocolate, which is to make people smile, and that’s why he won. I liked that. Anyway, Mitsuki giving her the matching rings was actually the ending! I didn’t even realise lolol! Didn’t get to see Dino’s reactions etc to the competition so I didn’t expect that, now it feels kinda incomplete lol.

Overall, as usual, the first season is great but the second just doesn’t deliver. I feel like for all the first seasons, although they had their similarities, it was mostly different, whereas the second season was literally the same thing for all three brothers, just a change in perspective depending on the brother and some changes in the love rivals and relationships, but otherwise, there wasn’t much of a difference, and the guys were stuck with the same problem e.g. Mitsuki not feeling mature enough for the heroine and trying to block the other guys from courting her. Things randomly resolve because it’s ending but nothing substantial really happens, so yeah, really can’t recommend the second part, maybe except Jin’s one, I didn’t mind that. Otherwise, it was pretty frustrating, why’s it such a common thing in these stories for the guy’s friends to go after the guy’s girlfriend aka the heroine?! Like seriously, ugh.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this game. I probably like it just as much as Princess Closet if we’re just talking about the first seasons since I feel like the relationships, the romance and the stories developed very nicely and at a good pace, the guys were all sweet and romantic in their individual ways, definitely recommend it~
