For the first installment of this series, let's start with something easy!

Arcana characters as Disney princesses/princes

Julian - Flynn Rider/Eugene

These two are so similar istg

Dashing, dramatic, swashbuckling rogues with dry humor and a secret, insecure soft side?

The only difference between them is one is ginger with an eye patch and the other isn't

Honestly Eugene would probably be a good pick for a voice hc tbh

Oh hey they're both orphans with big brother vibes too look at that

Asra - Elsa

White hair? Check. Water-related magic? Check. orphans? Check. Unconditional fashion style that doesn't really match everyone else but still looks drop-dead gorgeous regardless? Check

Both of them also have familial abandonment issues and feel the need to isolate themselves from the people they love instead of confronting the problem smh

I will admit their romantic interests are a bit different, with Asra being bisexual and Elsa either being a lesbian or aro/ace at best

Both of them have also been described to have seductive singing voices 👀

Nadia - Princess Jasmine

We👏stan👏 headstrong 👏 independent 👏 middle eastern- inspired👏queens👏here👏

Ngl Jasmine is one of my favorite Disney princesses & she & Nadia would definitely hit it off

Both feel stuck in their respective lives while also wanting to rule, and try to take action for themselves whenever they can

Also both of them would look absolutely stunning in an outfit swap

Muriel - Hercules

Honey you mean HUNK-ules

I know Hercules isn't technically a Disney prince but he fits Muriel too well

Big and strong but shy and genuine at heart? Hell yeah

Their reactions to fame are a little bit different but they are the same when it comes to falling in love; both are so gentle and genuinely caring, and can't stop gushing about their partner

Also amazing idols for how men are supposed to treat women - a.k.a with respect

Both have a heathy amount of respect for their partners modesty (even when said partner is trying to seduce them on purpose), as well as their partners autonomy to make their own decisions

Not to mention they both have estranged families that they didn't know about, and a supportive animal companion

Portia - Rapunzel

I know some of you might be thinking "why not Merida? They look so alike with their frizzy mop of ginger hair!" Well, dear chat, let me explain

While they may look similar, Portia and Merida do not act similar. Merida is rebellious, headstrong, and airheaded, fighting her loved ones on everything and doing what she wants regardless of the consequences until said consequences come back to bite her in the butt. Portia on the other hand, while also headstrong, is spunky, kind, and takes others feelings and opinions into account instead of doing the first daring thing that comes into her head

Which brings me to Rapunzel. Admittedly, Rapunzel is a lot more sheltered and inexperienced about the world than Portia was but they are still kindred spirits. Curious, spunky, headstrong, kind, compassionate, and unafraid to fight for themselves.

They're ready to take on the world even if they don't know enough about it

Both also have evil and manipulative family members (ik Mother Gothel isn't Rapunzel's family; she was still the one who raised Rapunzel & Rapunzel considered her family long enough for it to count in this situation)

Both also meet love interests who guide them through the part of the world that's unknown to them, be it magic for Portia or the world as a whole for Rapunzel

Lucio - Merida

remember all those traits I listed for Merida? Yeah Lucio fits those

Merida and Lucio may be hella good warriors, but boy are they stupid sometimes

Both also have mommy issues™

Both are also wildly inexperienced with magic and should really be more cautious about it

Both just go "oopsies" and expect everything to be fine because of their status when it's never fine

Arisen & Pawn character introductions!

Long post so below the read more! Featuring Carwyn and Seresa :>

♛ THE ARISEN:

NAME: Carwyn AGE: 28 in DDDA, 35 in DD2 RACE: Human/ex-Pawn PRONOUNS: he/him PREFERRED VOCATION: Magick Archer FAVORED GIFTS: fancy things, adorable things FAMILY: none LOL, he let his Arisen die in BBI if that counts

POSITIVE TRAITS: headstrong, independent, cautious NEGATIVE TRAITS: a bit of a shitcunt most of the time LIKES: rabbits DISLIKES: Dragonsplague, the entire cycle even before finding out what was beyond Seneschalhood, Saurians

1. What was their life like before becoming Arisen?

Carwyn was once a Pawn to someone who loved him very much, but in a very hurtful way. He left that Arisen to die in BBI thinking it was a mercy kill but it haunted him until he started to become a Corrupted Pawn/Necrophage; he originally had brown hair and brown eyes resembling his Arisen's old flame until the stress and curse of the Isle whitened his hair and changed his eyes. Was nicknamed the Carrion Bladewitch by passersby for being a MA Pawn that hung around corpses a lot. Was barred from the world of Gransys in DD1 since his ties there had been cut, so he ended up in a world without a current Arisen at the time: DD2. Underwent a Bestowal of Spirit upon setting foot on land on Vermund. Emotions suddenly felt less cloudy, and he realised he held a great deal of grief, guilt, and resentment for his Arisen. Carrion's last direction from his Arisen was to help her which he disobeyed, leaving him even more confused and aimless.

Settled down to become a woodworker in Harve Village since the place reminded him of Cassardis. Introduced himself as Carrion, which over time became understood as Carwyn which he graciously accepted, seeing it as one more step away from his former ties.

2. How do they handle being Arisen, and the responsibilities that come with it?

When news that a Dragon had finally confronted Vermund, a spark lit in his heart - this was his chance to die on his own terms. His Bestowed soul was tied to someone he so resented, and he lived in a world that he was unfit for. The Dragon's Dogma would be a test for Carwyn to prove to himself that his life and choices were his own, and not that he wanted to die because his Arisen's soul wished him to. There were two options from here: he would die at the hand of the Dragon as a pathetic vessel of man, at least as dictated by the Dogma rather than by his own Arisen, or he bests the Dragon and proves that his will was his own, so he can die knowing that it wasn't his Arisen driving him to do so.

Based on what happened in BBI, he came to hate the Eternal Cycle. As the story of DD2 progresses, he hates it even more upon realising the Pathfinder's role

3. What are their thoughts on Pawns in general?

Being an ex-Pawn he knows their experiences both good and bad first-hand. Carwyn's in a bit of an awkward spot though because he tries to relate to Pawns but he's developed too much as a human for them to understand some of his experiences, but he also hadn't grown up like a human and lacks many key experiences in that regard too. He also notes that in this world, Pawns seem more open with trying to be expressive compared to the Pawns he encountered in Gransys. He thinks that Pawns here are more expressive because they're more accepted, but can tell that such personalities are still constructed.

Carwyn does miss being able to travel the Rift and see new things, but he doesn't miss the empty feeling in his chest that he feels now as an Arisen, and before as a Pawn.

4. What's their relationship like with their main Pawn?

Carwyn summons his own Pawn, Seresa, a Beastren gleeful like he was when he was first summoned. He only did so at the insistence of other Pawns, though he felt in him a drive and yearning to do so as well. He at first tries to dismiss her back to the Rift, but she stays put, believing her presence was important for her Arisen as it was Carwyn's reason why she was summoned in the first place. Over time, he begins to see Seresa as a little sister to protect (and she later sees him as a brother), maybe a misguided desire reflecting what he wished of himself, but undoubtedly he comes to love her no matter what.

He feels envious and bitter hearing Pawns talk greatly of their own Arisen, so hearing that Seresa say that he's been a good Arisen to her made him start to take his journey as the Arisen more seriously, if at least to keep her safe.

With the return of the Dragonsplague, Carwyn's fears of his experiences in Bitterblack Isle are resurrected, and he becomes more adamant to keep Seresa safe against the Plague's influence upon her. While Seresa knows about what the Dragonsplague is, she's not aware of Carwyn's history in the Isle though can sense that something's off with how keeps avoiding the topic.

5. Do they have any interest in being Sovran? What are their opinions on the politics of the world in general?

Not at all, he thinks the role of Sovran is beyond is scope of knowledge and ability having only lived as a human in Vermund for around 7 years. Carwyn plans to abdicate the position to Regentkin Sven if he ends up slaying the Dragon.

6. Who are their love interest(s) and/or closest friends?

He was excited to see Rook again at the Excavation Site and just as distraught to see him be swallowed by the Brine. Though he knew as a Pawn what awaited beyond the Brine, being a human gave him a newfound fear for it.

Carwyn struggled to befriend anyone particularly closely due to being unfriendly and keeping to himself. Fyoran was the only one who put up with him in Harve Village, so he reciprocates that and treats him favourably.

In Vermund, he grows close with Glenna who keeps him company to pass the time as well as Klaus who he shares experiences with from on the road. He tried to grow close to Beren out of admiration for his skill but Beren found him dishonourable.

7. What drew them to their preferred vocation? Do they have history with it?

Carwyn's Arisen was a Sorcerer, and he was later hired by an Assassin in Bitterblack Isle before that one died too. Blue + Yellow vocation = Magick Archer. When he reaches the Unmoored World, he becomes desperate to keep Seresa safe after the scare when she wouldn't wake up, so he changes his role from being a damage dealer like in DDDA to being supportive. In the Unmoored World, his abilities now feature Recovery Arrow, Fortalice, Martyr's Bolt, and Soporific Arrow.

8. Do they have any hobbies? Any way of relaxing between all that monster-slaying and traveling?

Carwyn took up woodworking and has a hobby of sculpting rabbits. He also likes petting and feeding wild rabbits in the vicinity. He'll hunt other animals, just not them.

NAME: Seresa AGE: 22 RACE: Beastren PRONOUNS: she/her PREFERRED VOCATION: Fighter FAVORED GIFTS: beautiful things, food lol INCLINATION: simple

POSITIVE TRAITS: righteous, optimistic, curious NEGATIVE TRAITS: impulsive, single-minded, easily distracted LIKES: exploring, flowers, food DISLIKES: slimes

1. What was their life like prior to being summoned by their Arisen?

Asleep, dreaming. In Seresa's case, Carwyn is her main/first Arisen so she was one of the dreaming consciences of the Rift. She was born from Carwyn's desire to have companionship in his journey, someone who would be able to guide him the right direction. Seresa was summoned as someone with a sense of justice, an optimistic outlook, and an eagerness to explore the world to help Carwyn open up to his new world.

2. What is their opinion on the Arisen? How do they view their relationship?

Overall she thinks fondly of Carwyn! He can be frustrating at times but she doesn't have to take much effort to convince him to listen to his gut to do the right thing. She doesn't find out that Carwyn used to be a Pawn until after the Coronation ceremony since his Pawn Print had disappeared by then, and starts to be more patient with him from then on. Likewise, she begins to understand why Carwyn is so sympathetic to her and her fellow Pawns.

Seresa knows that Carwyn loves her very much and isn't ashamed to remind him that whenever he feels self-conscious about his treatment of her. She similarly sees him as a big brother who she tags along with.

3. Is there anything about the Arisen they find troublesome? Be it a small quirk or bad habit? (Or are they obviously flawless?)

Seresa finds him stubborn and abrasive but recognises that part of it is because he doesn't know how to deal with other people. She also knows that Carwyn is hiding more than just the fact that he used to be a Pawn and she thinks it would do the both of them good for him to spill it, but it seems to be a sore spot so she leaves the topic alone.

4. What is their specialization and is there any story behind how they cultivated that skill set?

Seresa often talks about wanting to eat and be comfortable, so Carwyn taught her to be a Logistician - she can make and eat as much food as she wants and he wouldn't bother her about it. It only becomes an issue when she insists that expired food can still be salvaged LOL

5. Do they have any thoughts on the politics of the world and their place in it as a Pawn - or how Pawns are treated?

She feels a little more safe socially in her status as a Pawn knowing that Carwyn is very protective of Pawns (and comes to fully trust him when he admits that he used to be a Pawn as well). But Seresa develops very mixed feelings upon entering Battahl as a Beastren Pawn, seeing scornful eyes from people who are supposed to resemble her and were subject to discrimination back in Vermund. She feels a bit of solidarity with Carwyn when even Battahli people treat him like a Pawn due to his muted behaviours.

6. Does their journey with the Arisen change them in any significant way and how?

After the Coronation ceremony when Seresa felt that great pain in her chest and head, Carwyn immediately freaks out and makes her take time off to rest despite her insistence that they have to move quickly to figure out what's going on. The sudden open display of concern and care for her, felt very out of character, and she prodded for an answer until Carwyn admitted that he used to be a Pawn, and felt too scared to grow close in case he'd turn out like his Arisen, but he didn't want to similarly neglect her in a time like this either. After he apologised for being so distant, the pieces came together for her, and she reassures him that he's not as bad as his former Arisen; they vowed to look after each other. When Seresa pleads - not asks - him not to face the Dragon to die, Carwyn realises she knew all along and is also beginning to undergo Bestowal, so he promises not to do so anymore.

From that point, Seresa begins to mature a bit more emotionally, becomes more in tune with Carwyn's rhythm, and the tips of her mane begin to adopt a white tint.

7. Is there a reason they chose their preferred vocation?

When Carwyn summoned a Pawn, he wanted someone who would protect him not just in battle but as a person. Seresa approached him as a Fighter.

8. Do they have any hobbies or preferred past-times?

Carwyn teaches her how to cook and she discovers a fluttery feeling in her chest! - he tells her that it's pride. While Seresa insists on hanging onto expired food that it may have a use for something later, she finds it disgusting that Carwyn would actually eat it without cooking it if given the chance.

I need to independently post more about Thorfinn and Einar, because those two are so dang cute, I love them.

for me, they rest in that area where I like them as any kind of relationship you want to attribute to them. I love their bond in the canon story, because I think the way they operate as found family brothers is fitting for the thematic weight that Yukimura intends their relationship to carry.

but also it's so easy to extrapolate their closeness into romance in speculative fiction. especially if they're kind of everything to each other. they share the same brain cell. they bring out the best in how their parents raised them from each other. they are drift compatible. two smart men can be one whole idiot. "brother" as in "man who I need to remain attached to, yet this is a need for which I have no other legitimizing name." but that's before they kiss and figure out that love has as many names as there are poetic comparisons to peace and beauty in this world. Einar's type is pretty blond people with sad eyes, and he loves doing the work of making things better for them. Thorfinn's type is headstrong, stubborn brunettes who are blunt, easy to talk to, and pleasant to be around. Thorfinn said "nothing good has ever happened to me" and Einar took that as a personal challenge. Einar is full of so much morally righteous indignation that Thorfinn both wants and needs to protect him at all costs. they would share the same toothbrush if they only had one to their name.

COD:MWII Zodiac signs

This is inspired by @sleepyconfusedpotato 's post on their MTBIs but I'm not well versed on those so I'm doing Zodiac signs hahah.

Price:

I thought he'd be a Capricorn or an Aquarius but according to his birthday, he's an Aquarius. (so I was half right).

He's very serious but passionate, both traits in Aquarius and Capricorn. However, the thing that made me think he's an Aquarius is his independent-ness. He's a "my way or the highway" type of guy and Aquarius' are notorious for that, it's why they're my fave sign. They're the signs to say "fuck the establishment" and that's Price 100%.

Ghost:

This man has to be an Aries, if not then Gemini. I can't really explain it but those are the ones that feel right.

His adaptability and quick-thinking, dry humor, and intelligence is what made me think Gemini at first. However, Aries' are very fiery, very determined, domineering and intimidating, and headstrong, but they're also sensitive to the needs of others and adjusts depending on who he's talking to.

He has similarities to Battery from Black Ops 3&4 who is canonically an Aries. But he also has similarities to Ruin from the same games and he is canonically a Gemini. Both signs are very similar even though one is air and one is fire.

I will accept Aquarius though, if the devs decide to make him an Aquarius.

Soap:

Leo. I will not elaborate :)

Okay I will. Cockiness. :)

Leo's will be the end of me. Their cockiness is so hot because it's fitting. It doesn't come across as the gross kind of cockiness, rather it comes across as confidence. His humor and sunshine-like personality are also signs of being a Leo.

Gaz:

He feels like a Sagittarius to me, I'm not going to lie. Although they like to be independent and love exploring and going on adventures, they're not as rebellious as Aquarius' are. But also, the dynamic between Aqua and Sag is chef's kiss and reminds me of Price and Gaz.

Rudy:

Libra, but maybe Virgo. They're two very different signs, but they feel right to me.

Libra because he's well-balanced, compromises, has a sense of justice and morals.

Virgo because he's very practical and resourceful, he gets shit done, and is friendly to everyone but he has a tight group that not everyone is a part of.

Alejandro:

Either Libra or Leo, I can't decide as they're both passionate signs, but it shows in slightly different ways from each other. However, if I had to choose, I'd say Libra because of his sense of justice. Libra's are very loyal and often the places they grew up in are the places they will romanticize and go back to, which is very Alejandro behavior.

Valeria:

Leo. Absolutely and 100% a Leo. Her cockiness and assertiveness is rightfully placed, as well as her rebellious nature, and her assuredness that she won't be convicted because they have no proof. (Her actress is a Sagittarius and I used to watch her on novelas when I was younger so I'm so happy to see her in a game that means so much to me 😭)

I had trouble deciding between Aquarius and Leo because they're both similar signs (pretty much the same sign if you ask me), but her loudness is what convinced me she was a Leo.

König:

Cancer, I feel it in my bones. He's a Cancer and you can't tell me otherwise. Everyone always headcanons him as someone who can't take social cues, but Cancer's are well-adjusted people in society. I've always felt that König is very deceiving in that sense. He's not incompetent is social interactions, but he just prefers to not say anything. Social anxiety doesn't make one a blushing mess, it just means you'd rather not deal with so many people.

Laswell:

Aries. Similar to Ghost in the sense that she's very determined, but has that hidden soft spot for the people closest to her. I also headcanon her as a massive cuddle-bug, and that fits with Aries' strong outside, soft inside.

Graves:

He feels like a Virgo to me. Similar reasons as to why Rudy felt like a Virgo--he's practical, gets shit done, makes a great leader, etc. I also can't explain this next part, but he looks like a Virgo.

There's a theory in astrology spaces that zodiac signs look a specific way. I forgot what physical traits Virgo's have, but Graves looks like a Virgo to me. I'm sure I'll come across a post that reminds me, and when that happens, I'll add to this post.

Nobody asked but it's time to put some stuff in WRITING on the INTERNET! So here's my little group of blorbos I made up for Transformers Prime:

Rowan: Human, she/they, late 20s. An avid climber, mountain biker, and overall adrenaline junkie. Usually found in a flannel worn on top of athletic wear or otherwise practical clothes. Grew up in the Pacific Northwest and had the (mis?)fortune of running into a certain stuntplane who I'll mention in just a bit. Rowan's rather headstrong and independent, often refusing help even when it's pretty obviously needed. They end up bonding with said cybertronian after some shared experiences and shenanigans ensue from there. Aerostar: Cybertronian, she/her, stuntplane alt mode, "seeker". The aforementioned transformer that Rowan meets, though I have yet to work out the details just yet. Aerostar is pretty damn young when they hit Earth, enough that while she was initially a kinda fucked-up version of a seeker mold she was sent out anyway and kind of ends up as a freelancer rather than a strict decepticon. After some bonding experiences with Rowan, the pair run afoul of both Team Prime and the 'cons, as well as a new recruit Autobot that just seems to hit every negative button Aerostar possesses, with their interactions ranging from slightly abrasive to outright brawls whenever they meet.

Clay: Human, he/him, mid-20s. A mechanic and part-time rally car driver, though he's never really progressed beyond local races near his hometown in the Midwest. A naturally rather wide boi, he's oddly skinny for someone with a barrel chest. Has the kind of smile that lights up a room like a warm fireplace, though it never seems to reach his eyes. He meets his Cybertronian partner when the latter is in rather bad shape, and does his best to help repair the poor wounded guy. Uproots his whole life to move to Nevada upon being contacted/learning of Team Prime, wanting to do everything he can to help and also not really having a choice after scouts spot him helping his new robotic alien buddy. Rollcage: Cybertronian, he/they, rally car alt. Clay's partner and a bot with middling experience in combat and life. Old enough to not be considered a kid, but young enough that he's nowhere near "vet" status. Rollcage loves Earth, taking to the organic planet like a duck to water. He and Clay have been together much longer than the other pair, and made a point of helping people however they could before ending up on a road trip to Jasper. Our boy is far from just a softie though, and with his outlier ability of a temporary time-slowing bubble (thx for the idea French Hot Rod) he can put up a solid threat. They're the rival to Aerostar I mentioned earlier, the two getting along like oil and water, though we'll see how it develops as I work on these ocs more.

11. What do Javi and Osita admire the most about each other?

Javi: He honestly admires everything about her- Her independence, her compassion, her strength, her humor, she is truly unlike anyone else he's ever met and he loves everything that makes her the person that she is. While he obviously thinks that she is physically beautiful, he thinks that her personality is the most beautiful thing about her 😭

Osita: She loves how caring and compassionate Javi is. She's never had anyone treat her the way that Javi does, and the fact that he is so thoughtful and kind to her makes her heart melt into a million pieces. She also loves the fact that he's brave and headstrong (even if it means they butt heads because these two are stubborn peas in a pod) 🥺

22. How does the other know that they're horny/want to have sex?

Javi: He can tell Osita's in the mood whenever he catches her trying to sneak glances at him while he's not looking, and then is just smirking around the house. She'll be walking around trying to hide it, and when Javi asks what's got her smiling like that, she'll try and shrug and be like "I don't know what you're talking about", even though they both know damn well what's got her all giddy.

Osita: As if Javi wasn't already the most handsy man alive, when he's horny his hands are ALL over her- he is like a magnet, constantly touching her whenever he can not only because he loves it, but because he knows how riled up it gets her, too 🤪

2. What's my favorite drabble from the NTL universe?

Either Take Me Home (where Javi picks up Osita from a girls night out at the bar and she's hammered) because I think it shows the dynamic of their relationship so well (and it makes me laugh), or You're My Home (Osita and Javi fight all week and it blows up in their faces, until Osita realizes Javi is so worried from things happening at work and has a panic attack and she calms him down) because I feel like it's the most real and raw- we get so much cute and happy Osita and Javi that it was kind of refreshing to write something that was angsty bc even our two faves aren't perfect 🥹

What do I picture Osita looking like?

Day 9: Collaring

Pairing: Boyd x Raylan x Tim

Boyd and Raylan give him the collar together.

It’s the first. Tim's never been a proper submissive, not for as long as he's known he was a submissive – he's too headstrong, too independent. People tend to peg him wrong, when they first meet him, and as it turns out, most doms aren't interested in a sub who can put a bullet through their eye at 1000 yards.

Boyd and Raylan aren't most doms, though. Tim knows that from the beginning, from when Raylan doesn't bat an eyelash at working next to a submissive – from when he realizes the two of them are together, despite the fact that they both have clear, bold D's on their driver's licenses.

And, really, it shouldn't be surprising that the three of them fit. Tim's about as nontraditional as they come, and Boyd and Raylan are just a half-step behind him. They don't expect Tim to kneel or defer in public – and they don't expect it from him in private, either, not unless they're putting him under.

So the collar is a surprise.

A collared sub is a claimed one. A wanted one. And if Tim’s ever been wanted in his life, it was despite the fact that he was a sub, not because of it.

Tim stares down at the box in Boyd’s hands – at the strip of leather laying inside it. It’s innocuous enough, and Tim might even be able to brush it off if it was just Raylan in front of him. Impulsively buying a collar is something that’s right up Raylan’s alley, and they both know it – but it’s Boyd, too. And Boyd might be his own brand of impulsive, but not about things like this.

"You don't have to wear it," Raylan says, when all Tim does is swallow and stare. "Not if you don't want to. Not never, if it's not your thing. We just…" He ducks his head in an uncharacteristic show of shyness, and that more than anything convinces Tim that this is real, that the two of them aren't making a pointed comment about how he doesn't measure up. “You’re ours, Tim,” Raylan finishes after a moment. “We thought that you could use the reminder, sometimes.”

A year ago, Tim might have bristled at those words, taken them the wrong way and made Raylan bleed for them, but now… now he knows what Raylan means. That he’s not putting Tim in his place, but assuring him of it, reminding him less that he’s claimed and more that he’s wanted.

The distinctions are important. So is the fact that Boyd and Raylan know him well enough to make them.

“Yeah,” he says, and his voice is even rougher than it normally is. “Yeah, okay.”

He imagines it’s not the enthusiasm Boyd and Raylan were hoping for, but the both of them just relax, losing tension Tim didn’t even realize they were carrying. And it occurs to him that, for all this is monumental for him, it might not exactly be commonplace for them, either.

"Would you allow us to put it on you?" Boyd asks, and Tim nods tightly, not trusting his voice. In response, he just gets two of the softest smiles he's ever seen. Boyd takes the collar out of the box, and Raylan reaches out, gently tipping Tim’s head back with a thumb on his jaw. It’s a vulnerable position, one that makes Tim’s teeth itch on the wrong kind of day, but today it just feels… steadying.

“Good boy,” Boyd says, and Tim huffs.

He can’t glare the way he wants to, not with his eyes fixed on the ceiling, so he settles for muttering, “That’s not playing fair,” while Boyd sets the collar against his neck, carefully buckling the strap.

“I have been accused of being many things,” Boyd says, and Tim can hear the smile in his voice. “But I don’t believe anyone’s ever felt the need to label me as fair.”

He cinches the collar, not so tight that Tim can’t breathe, but just tight enough that he can feel it, the reassuring pressure like a hand on his throat. Tim shudders at the thought, feels need start to pull at the corners of his mind even as he reaches up, brushing his fingers over the leather covering his throat. It's a new feeling, but it's… not a bad one. He doesn't hate it. And when he allows himself, briefly, to think about wearing it again, maybe while kneeling at Boyd’s feet or letting Raylan pin him to the bed, well – he doesn’t hate that, either.

No, he doesn’t hate it at all.

>.> I ain't writing a whole-ass novel in a tumblr ask LOL but I'll give you the kinda run-down:

Abigail's family is lower-middle class and Catholic (family a couple generations back has some Irish influence). They're extremely proud, she's the youngest of several children and the darling of her father's eye until she gets pregnant at 17 with Alistair and she refuses to marry the guy (he lied to her about wearing a condom, so she rightfully doesn't trust him) and her dad kicks her out, but her mom (who has somewhat more liberal attitudes and a lot of affection and sympathy for her daughter) helps her out in secret, gives her a little money when she can etc.

Abigail is really intelligent and she raises Alistair alone, works various service jobs (waitress, cleaning lady), and takes university classes at night. At 21/22, she gets a pretty good job as a nanny for an Irish family (who like that she's Catholic .... ""Catholic""... she's baptized and confirmed, that's good enough for them) and they don't mind if Alistair comes to work with her. Their oldest son is like 18--she cares for the younger children--and Abigail dates him in secret and voila! Ian. The family wants Abigail to marry their son, obviously, but neither of them wants that so Abigail tells them to fuck off and leaves.

She never quite settles down in any one particular job, mostly because she gets bored. Her education level doesn't give her access to the types of jobs that she might find interesting long-term. She's incredibly headstrong and independent and her bullshit detector is extra sensitive, yet she still winds up in less than good relationships, where she tends to leave if she gets bored or if the guy gets too serious about it, though some of them are just.... uh..... not nice, let's say.

And then she meets Oliver. At first he's very kind and respectful and even deferential toward Abigail. He seems to care about Alistair and Ian a great deal even though they aren't his children. She doesn't marry Oliver, but she does let him live in her house (an honor not bestowed upon any other of her exes). She's 26 when Dylan is born and everything actually seems to be going pretty well, but Oliver falls off the wagon, a wagon Abigail hadn't previously been aware he was even on. When he's drunk, he's mean and has a tendency to just fuck off for sometimes days at a time and when he's not drunk, he's melancholy and useless.

Abigail doesn't know she's pregnant when she kicks Oliver's ass to the curb and several months later, Arthur is born. Abigail kinda gives up on having relationships after that. They're not worth the trouble.

Despite the turmoil of her own life, she raises her sons very well, with the help of lots of friends. Alistair is your typical eldest child who takes on a lot of responsibility and is hyper-protective of his mum (may or may not have driven off a couple of her boyfriends with pranks and generally being a little terror). There are ten years between him and Arthur. Ian is creative and boisterous and loves music and manages to stay out of trouble that way. He's no less protective of his mum--they all are, really. Except for Dylan, all her sons are incredibly stubborn. Dylan is quiet, studious, and, ultimately, turns out to be asexual. Abigail is never quite sure how, but he becomes very interested in the Anglican church and asks Abigail to take him and continues going on his own when he's older.

As for Arthur, since both he and Abigail are youngest siblings, they have a very close bond. Abigail laments that she passed her terrible taste in men onto Arthur, though Arthur has a tendency to get his heart broken more than to break others' hearts. (Alistair and Ian "somehow" manage to find very lovely and wonderful wives >.> shocker.) Arthur is also rebellious and a pretty bad troublemaker in a way none of his brothers ever were and Abigail figures her luck had to run out at some point. She and Arthur fight a lot when he's younger, but due to her own experiences, she never kicks him out, nor threatens to, and she always makes sure he knows that she loves him and will not give up on him.

She's extremely proud of all of them and she would kill for them... a situation which might warrant that has presented itself once or twice, though she hasn't .... actually..... murdered anyone >.> but she has beat the ever-loving crap out of at least one of her exes, despite being all of 5'2".

When they're grown, she continues to job hop as she pleases, especially after all of them are grown and she doesn't have to support all of them. Alistair takes it upon himself to make sure many of her basic expenses are taken care of, despite how much he has to fight her about it. She has a very broad, though not particularly deep, social circle and her best friend is Arthur and vice versa, which is why it doesn't bother her when he moves back home. Her other three are settled: Alistair lives in Glasgow and is a barrister (oh god it rhymes), married to a lovely French lady named Marianne, they have three children: Isabelle, Manon, and Liam. Ian lives in Belfast with his wife, Holly (I chose that name as a reference none of you will get and I pity you LOL), and during the events of the fic, they've just had a baby girl. Dylan lives in a small village in Wales where he is a vicar. And Arthur >.> well.

Nowadays, Abigail dates, but very casually and has more fun with it, having learned so many things about life and herself. She also often prefers a quiet evening at home over most other things. She visits Alistair semi-regularly and will probably visit Ian more now that he has a kid and because Arthur might just need some *cough* privacy shhhh. She visits Dylan very regularly because he prefers routine, but not with remarkable frequency.

Similarly to Mrs. Bennet (although not nearly so hysterical about it), Abigail wants to see all her sons settled and happy and Arthur is the only one left in that respect, but he is so much like her: too smart for his own good and with bad taste in lovers. Unlike her, however, his heart is very soft (on the inside) and because of that she refuses to give her blessing to just anyone and with Arthur's history, someone with their criminal history would certainly be immediately out of the question >.>

Of course, Alfred F. Jones has never been formally charged with anything, soooooo perhaps she'll make an exception XD

— originally from tennessee, elspeth worked as an embalmer up until the outbreak. of course, working that closely with the reanimated dead was a recipe for disaster.

— she has travelled, and stayed alive, by merging with survivor groups and using her expertise on living subjects. although she isn't the best trained nurse in the world, her time at medical school wasn't for nothing.

— although she is away from her southern roots, she is still very devoted to her faith. although, if there really was a god, why would he allow such horrors to unfold under his watch?

— bisexual & previously had been falling madly in love with matevos, who they will now be reunited with at the prison. will the horrors they have faced have changed them, or has absence only made the heart grow stronger?

In all of your "yan meets their child" you make the kid happy to meet them. But if reader knew they were probably being hunted down by they're crazy exes wouldn't they warn the kid and tell them to scream and run away?

Kids inherited the Yan

Sometimes telling them that the twins are bad men who want to hurt them won't work. A child might know a person is bad, but if they act kind enough the child can be manipulated. Or they're someone that the child respects, even slightly.

Ingo's son is a miniature version of him who is softer spoken and more reserved. His father's love of trains was inherited, so naturally he reads and watches everything he can about them. Ingo appears in some of these. His son, despite being told he should hate this man, finds him interesting. He looks in a mirror and so many of his features come from him. While he doesn't doubt your information, he still wants to meet him. He's ten! He can handle him.

A class trip to Nimbasa, in which he forged your signature to go on, leads him to sneak away during their 'in-and-out' of the Gear Station. Posing as a lost child, he can see the curious looks depot agents give him. A familiar man in a long black coat walks up, and he stares in disbelief. Ingo's heart shatters at the sight of his missing son standing before him. He hugs the poor boy while crying his name over and over again. The boy's arm enclose around his dad as he feels strangely safe in his embrace.

It isn't hard to destroy those carefully built walls down and win his son's heart to his side. His son is desperate for the soft affection that Ingo offers and his father gives him a tour of train that isn't in use. Ingo refuses to lose his family ever again and cuddles the boy closely.

Emmet's daughters vary in personality wildly. One is clingy and a crybaby while the other is headstrong and independent. They both love battling and spend time researching into the topic endlessly. Eventually, they'll come across their biological father and uncle. The younger twin insists it's a bad idea to go out and battle them while the older demands to pay some retribution to their father for the pain he subjected you to. The stronger personality wins out in the end, and they make a promise to one another.

A class trip to Nimbasa, which you hesitantly sign off on, leads to them going hand in hand up to a depot agent and demanding to ride the Multi line. He seems unsure if he should the ten year olds ride alone, but with a stern glare from the older mixed with her familiar smile, he relents. Their strange resemblance didn't go over his head. They were probably just trying to see their dad. Soon, they stand across from the Subway Bosses before they realise. The one in white, their father, bursts into tears and hugs them close. He's cooing over them and repeating just how much he loves them again and again. The older watches in terror as the younger melts into his affection. He picks her up and twirls her around in her arms. The younger breaks into giggles and a grin.

The younger convinces the older that their papa isn't a bad man, while holding his hand tightly. The poor younger twin always craved paternal affection that Emmet so readily supplied. The older wanted it, too, but never acknowledged it. Emmet truthfully does love them verrrry much.
