barca femeni x reader
r gets kicked out of her house. her teammates find out. protective barca at it's finest.
cw- bad parents... referenced homophobia?
Your back hurt. Really, this was the least of your problems. A few days ago, your parents had kicked you out. It didn't really come as a surprise to you; they'd never been very good parents, and you knew it was just a matter of time before they found out about... you, and decided they were done. You'd been crashing at your friend Sofia's house since then, on the couch. You couldn't complain, considering how kind it was of your friend to let you stay with her, but the couch was killing your back. This is what you forced yourself to think about as you climbed out of her car at the training grounds, instead of, well, any other part of the situation.
You were fine. You didn't need your parents, not at all. You didn't need their help, their house, their love, any of it. You had just turned 18, and you were sure you'd be able to find an apartment soon considering your salary at Barca. Everything was fine.
Of course, you forgot to factor in your nosy, nosy teammates. And how bad of a liar you were. Combined, your secret was out before you wanted it to be, which was never.
-----
You were walking quickly from Sofia's car, hoping that you'd arrived early enough that no one was there to see you get dropped off, instead of driving your own car. It wasn't really your car, it was your parents, and while they had let you take a lot of your stuff, the car was not one of them. You thought you were safe, seeing no one ahead of you, when you heard your name being called from behind you, a distinct British accent ringing across the parking lot.
"Y/n!!!!! Wait!!!" Lucy called dramatically. Rolling your eyes, you turned around, motioning for her to hurry up. She arrived by your side, falling in to step next to you.
"Who was that dropping you off? What happened to your car?"
"Oh. That was my friend, Sofia. I... we... my car is.... broken. It's broken and it's getting fixed. So Sofia drove me. Because my car is broken," you stuttered out, honestly surprising even yourself with how bad of a lie you'd just told considering you'd been practicing the lie all week.
"Your car is... broken?" Lucy asked, shooting you a weird look.
"Yeah, the engine or something," you say, trying to act casually.
"Why aren't your parents driving you?"
"They have work."
Lucy is quiet for a moment, before she stops you in the hallway, turning to face you. "Is something going on? You're being weird."
"Weirder than normal?" you try to joke.
"Y/n." Lucy says. She was so rarely serious off the pitch, it was kind of intimidating.
"Nothing is going on."
"You are really one of the worst liars I've ever met. Your whole face is red right now, do you know that?" Lucy asks, not a hint of humor in her voice. Instead, her eyes are squinting at you inquisitively, and you feel like they're burning right through you.
"I'm not lying!" You protest, feeling your cheeks heat up even more.
"It just got redder. Tell me what's going on."
"No." Lying wasn't working, but you were stubborn, and you're sure you could out-stubborn Lucy.
"Fine. I'll go ask Mapi if she knows what's up with you. Or Irene. Or Alexia," she threatens. You hadn't expected her to go there so soon.
"No, Lucy, please don't," you beg, reaching out to catch her wrist as she begins to walk away.
"Then tell me what's happening. Did you crash your car?"
"No I- I didn't crash my car, Lucia, seriously." Lucy smirks, crossing her arms though, ensuring that she's standing between you and any viable exit from the conversation. You take a breath. "I'm just staying with Sofia for a bit. It's not a big deal."
Lucy's smirk is gone. "Why? Did something happen with your parents?" Your poor relationship with them wasn't really a secret to anyone on the team. They hardly went to any games before they'd kicked you out. Your older teammates silently disapproved of them, you knew, but they were careful never to say anything in front of you.
"I told you what was going on. Can I go now?" You ask, ignoring Lucy's questions.
"Hey, wait," she tries, but you slip past her, walking down the hall towards the locker room.
"I wouldn't tell mention this to anyone, if I were you. Otherwise word might get out about what you and Ona were doing in the showers last week," you tease, enjoying the way Lucy's face heats up at your words. You're pretty confident she won't risk getting ratted out just to get to the bottom of what's going on with you.
Apparently, you underestimate how much Lucy cares about you.
-----
You've managed to take your mind off things during practice, and you completely miss Lucy quietly talking to Alexia during a water break. You also miss Alexia talking to Irene and Mapi during the next water break. You take your time showering and changing, knowing that the fewer people around when you leave, the fewer people to realize you're walking, and in the complete opposite direction of your house. You don't really think about your conversation with Lucy again until you're on your way out of the locker room, and Alexia calls you to stay back. You're one of the last ones in the room as it is, and you turn slowly, eyes finding Lucy's. You glare at her, and she shrugs, patting you on the shoulder before leaving the locker room. You turn, finding Alexia, Irene, and Mapi all sat on a bench, looking at you.
"Yes?" You say.
"Is there something you need to tell us?" Alexia asks firmly. She's not fucking around, you can tell, nor is Irene. And, a rare occurrence, neither is Mapi. You look to her, hoping she'll crack a joke or something and ease the tension in the room, but she's staring at you with a matching searching gaze.
"You all had a great practice!" You try, shooting Alexia a smile. It falls off your face when she only raises an eyebrow at you.
"Want to try that again?"
"Alright, Mapi's penalties could use some work." Mapi frowns, but Alexia ignores your comment.
"Y/n."
"Alexia," you say, trying your best to look like nothing was going on, like nothing was bothering you. Like the longer you stood in front of them, it wasn't getting harder to collapse into the fits of sobs you'd been fighting for a week.
"Enough, y/n. Talk." Alexia replies. Mapi and Irene are fighting smiles now. Watching you and Alexia go back and forth was always entertaining; a real battle of wills.
"I'm staying with one of my friends. I'm assuming that's what Lucy told you."
All three of them were surprised when you give up so easily. It only worried them more, the way your eyes fall to stare at your shoes, and the way you clasp your hands together, trying to hide how they're shaking.
"Why?" Alexia asks. Her voice is softer now, more gentle, but still, she leaves no option for you to refuse to answer. You can tell, by a quick glance to her face, that she's losing patience. You're scared, suddenly, that they'll give up. On you. They'll stop caring, because you try so hard not to let them. This is what prompts you to be honest, really. The fear of no one, no one at all, caring for you anymore.
"My parents kicked me out." Your voice is just more than a whisper. The older girls' faces fall instantly. They feared this, when Lucy told them about your conversation, but they hoped they were wrong, that it wasn't this.
"What happened with them?" Irene asks, almost like she can't help herself. You're sure she's thinking of her son, of how she couldn't imagine doing that to him.
"I don't really want to talk about it." You say. Mapi opens her mouth, surely to push you further, but to your surprise, Alexia lays a hand on her arm, cutting her off. Your captain looks at you for a minute, eyes searching yours, before she speaks.
"Okay. You're gonna stay with me. I have an extra bedroom, and Mapi and Ingrid live almost right next door. We can go get your stuff from your friends now."
"No, Ale. No. I'm fine at Sofia's, really."
"Well I'm not fine with you there. You're a kid, you need adult supervision. Besides, it makes more sense. I can drive you to practice and everything. And make sure you're taking care of yourself."
"Alexia. No."
"Y/n. Yes. This isn't up for discussion," Alexia has raised her voice, just a little, and you take a step back. Alexia notices, because of course she does, and she calms herself down instantly, whole face softening. "Look, I know this isn't ideal, but this is what we're doing. Please, just trust me, y/n? If you hate living with me, we can figure something else out, but just give it a shot, okay?"
You almost laugh, because really, Alexia thinks that the problem is that you don't want to live with her. That couldn't be further from the truth- you would like to, deep down you admit it. It would be easier. It would make you feel safe. You just can't impose like that, can't do that to Alexia. She'd get tired of you, eventually, just like your parents had. You didn't want that.
You take too long thinking all of this, apparently, because soon she's ushering you out of the room and towards her car. Her and Irene walk ahead, quietly discussing what you can only assume to be how much they hate your parents. Mapi hangs back, walking with you.
"You know that Alexia wouldn't offer if she didn't really want you there, right?" The defender says, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. You look at her in surprise, not expecting her to understand your reasoning when no one else did. She just gives you a wry smile, waiting for you to answer.
"Why would she want me there, Mapi? You ask. Mapi frowns.
"Because you're you. And we all love you. Alexia especially, I think you're her favorite. But seriously, y/n, any of us would take you in without a second thought." Mapi says it so matter of factly, you're thrown for a loop. It didn't make sense, really. That these people, your teammates, who owed you nothing, were willing to drop everything for you, when your parents... well.
You aren't really sure what to respond to her, and you don't have to, because Alexia is gesturing you towards her car, and Irene is pulling you into a tight hug, telling you to come over any time. You return the hug, hearing the echo of Mapi's words in your ears. Maybe she was right.
-----
Sofia had been surprised to see you packing, but she understood. You're sure she's relieved to have you out of her hair, even if she doesn't say it. The tight hug she gives you tells a different story, and you could swear there are tears in her eyes as you walk out of the building. Once again, you're left completely speechless at the care your friends are showing you.
It's not too late by the time you arrive back at Alexia's, all the stuff you brought from your parents, and then from Sofia's, in tow, but you feel an interrogation coming on from Alexia, so you slip off to shower, needing a few minutes to yourself to process the day. By the time your done, you've cried a fair amount in the shower, and you're sure your eyes are red and puffy.
Still, when you appear in the living room, quietly taking a seat on the couch, a safe distance away from where Alexia sits, scrolling through her phone, you promise yourself that you won't cry again. Not in front of Alexia. She looks up when you enter, brows immediately furrowing at the sight of your tearstained cheeks, and you pretend you don't know what she's looking at.
"How are you feeling?" she asks kindly, after giving you a minute to start the conversation, if you felt like it.
"Fine." you say shortly. Alexia doesn't say anything. After 2 full minutes of silence, you realize she's trying to make you so uncomfortable that you talk, knowing you hate awkwardness. You wish she didn't know you so well, as you open your mouth to finally let it all out, but a part of you feels so loved, so cared for, by it.
"My parents are... my parents. I shouldn't have expected anything different from them, when they found out."
"Found out what?" Alexia asks casually.
You take a big breath. No one on the team knows. Really, only Sofia and a few other people know. You want to tell, you want to be open about it. You wish it was as easy as just doing something you want to. You know, realistically that the team won't care, that Alexia won't care. Still, you can't seem to forget your parent's reactions, and you feel your heart clench with fear.
"I'm... um... They caught me, kissing a girl. I'm gay." You say, eyes blurring with tears as you stare at the table in front of you. Your throat burns with the effort of keeping your sobs in, but you can't cry. Not when Alexia hasn't even said anything. Not when you'd be crying about a different reaction.
The blonde woman scoots closer to you, until her shoulder is pressed up against yours. Still, you keep your eyes on the white wood table in front of you. When Alexia speaks, it's the gentlest you've ever heard her be.
"Y/n, I'm sorry your parents didn't respond well. You deserve more than that." At this, you shrug, ignoring the way your bottom lip is trembling. A few tears escape, and you wipe them away quickly, like they were never there. "Can you look at me?" Alexia asks. You turn to her, biting your lip to keep your emotions in check when you see the way Ale's eyes are also watery.
"I'm really proud of you, cariño."
"For what?" you respond, before you can stop yourself, sounding more like a sob than actual words.
"Oh, pequeña. For all of it. For talking to me when I know being vulnerable is difficult. For telling me, when I know it couldn't have been easy. For turning into this incredibly good person, despite the people the raised you."
There's no chance for you, after that. The cries fall out of your lips, and you are powerless to stop them. Alexia is steady next to you, even as your body trembles with emotion. She pulls you into her, arms holding you tightly against her.
"I know, pequeña, I'm sorry. It's gonna be okay. I promise." If you weren't preoccupied with sobbing into your captain's shirt, you'd notice that she's also crying, just a little.
"I don't understand why they can't just love me. It's all they're supposed to do, but I'm not good enough for them," you cry, all the feelings you'd been pushing down now pouring out of you.
"No, cariño. They are the ones that are not good enough for you. You have so many people in your life that love you, that have no obligation to love you, but they do anyway. That means that you are good. Your parents... it's their problem, not yours." Alexia can tell you aren't fully convinced. She pulls back, tilting your chin up to look at you.
"You are good, cariño, so good. You'll always be good enough. We'll tell you that, everyday until you believe it, if that's what it takes."
"We?" you ask, confused.
The blonde woman looks a little exasperated. "The team. Y/n, Irene and Mapi were ready to fight me to get you to live with them. When the rest of the team finds out, I'm going to have some serious competition. We want you around, y/n. We really do."
"Oh." you say, because you're starting to believe her, and you aren't sure how else to respond to that. "So... you really don't mind me staying here?" you check.
"No. I really don't." Alexia promises. You nod, weakly smiling at her. She's glad to see something on your face that isn't a frown. Her phone buzzes in her hand, then, and she picks it up, expecting it to be from Mapi or Irene, asking how you were doing. Instead, it's from Lucy.
"Y/n?" she asks.
You're drying your eyes with your shirt sleeve, and you miss the amused expression on her face. "What?"
"Why did Lucy just text me that 'y/n is lying, whatever she tells you.'"
You gasp, a real smile lighting up your face. Alexia laughs at your expression. "I almost forgot! I told Lucy if she told you what was going on, she'd regret it."
You guess that maybe, Lucy was just looking out for you, and maybe you don't need to tell Alexia what her and Ona were doing, but then again, the shower is a public space, and you'd been scarred for life. You'd thank Lucy for telling Ale later, after you enjoyed watching her get scolded by Alexia. You're starting to think most of the team would forgive you for almost anything.

Smallest Drop - Part 3
Summary: Tav knew she was falling for him in some ways but she didn't realise just how bad it had become until she got shot in the leg while killing a vampire hunter for him.
Meanwhile, Astarion really doesn't understand Tav and her strange solutions to problems and ignoring it really isn't working well.
I've already planned a part 4 because I'm addicted. Tav is not mentioned by name.
Content Warnings: She/Her Tav

Though she tried her utmost to appreciate every environment they explored (if only because she would otherwise go crazy), she couldn’t find much she liked about the swamp. Not even with its sweetened flowers, warm sunlight, and strange sheep.
She was almost a thousand percent sure those were polymorphed humans but she refused to worry about them yet. Whatever had created them surely would reveal itself and for now, she focused on the bigger problem before her.
A monster hunter standing before her with a friendly smile on his face and a laugh echoing across the swamp as though he hadn’t threated one of her companions.
He may not know what he’d done but it put her on edge regardless.
She made sure not to look at Astarion, a subliminal concern in her. She refused to give too much attention in case it drew his gaze over to those glinting red eyes or faded but very obvious scars nestled against pale skin.
Instead, she stepped forward and demanded all the attention she could with a loud voice and a smile. “Sounds awfully boring,” she said. “To hunt one creature for so long and not make any progress. Hardly even a challenge or thrill to just slowly camp somewhere and wait.”
The hunter chuckled and she seethed. “The first thing you learn in my line of work is never underestimate your opponent. This spawn has been eluding me for quite some time.”
She tried to keep her expression neutral but struggled. Even in her best moods, she couldn’t hide what she thought and the anxiety in her chest was stronger than ever. Maybe he would think the worry in her face showcased a fear of the creature rather than of him.
“Only a spawn?” she asked. “Pity. Not like it’s a real vampire. There’s little glory to be had in such a hunt.”
He frowned at the accusation in her tone and raised an eyebrow, perhaps confused by the hostility in her voice.
Before he could answer though, Astarion drawled, “I don’t know. I’m sure a vampire spawn could still rip your throat out if he felt like it.”
She couldn’t help a slight smile. Though perhaps not happy, he didn’t sound nervous which meant they fight should be easy. Lae’zel, bored as she was, never complained about further bloodshed and undoubtedly this hunter had no experience facing a gith sword.
Her own bloodthirstiness surprised her. Rarely did she feel the desire to spill blood quite as intensely as she did now and no guilt followed. This man dared to threaten somebody she cared for and she immediately moved to murder.
She really needed to be careful of the strange hold Astarion had on her.
“He is right, unfortunately. They’re only weak when compared to their masters. During the day we have the advantage but when night falls, you will not find a more dangerous quarry.”
She pretended to wince. “Awful for somebody like you to hunt something so fierce when you appear barely able to fight one of these sheep. Should I not worry about one of these spawn creeping up on you when you least expect it?”
The hunter appeared thoroughly offended and Lae’zel snorted in what she had started to learn may be a laugh.
“Well, we’ve stayed alive so far so perhaps we can focus on that.” Astarion reminded her of a cat playing with a mouse. But the cat also hovered far away from the potential battle, uncertain.
“It’ll be safer for you to keep patrols at night,” the hunter warned. “Just in case it tries anything.”
“I don’t think I will.”
He tried to be friendly and helpful but now he simply frowned. She almost felt bad for turning rude and abrasive, noticed how her response made him a little more uncomfortable but not enough to reach for a weapon. Her hand however drifted closer to her blade.
Morals said she should provide him a false lead and send him on a wild chase far away from her party.
Her brain said he may be a threat. If he doubled back or found out about her deception, he could sneak into their camp and take Astarion before she noticed.
And her heart told her if she let him go, Astarion wouldn’t relax again. He may not even stay in the area if he thought the hunter lurked nearby – too jumpy and flighty to stick around their group.
Her morals would need to keep quiet until she dealt with this.
“Maybe we should take him up on his recommendation,” Astarion suggested. “Or deal with this threat now.”
“Take him out before he hurts anybody,” she said and it was an agreement.
The hunter waved his hands quickly. “Oh, I wouldn’t recommend hunting a vampire spawn if you have no experience. You may be a strong fighter but I doubt you’d be able to challenge one.”
“I wasn’t speaking about Astarion,” she said. “If he wanted me dead, he’s had ample opportunities so far.”
Astarion hummed, almost chuckling. “You’re not wrong. It’s lucky that you’ve proven yourself far more useful alive.”
The hunter’s gaze slowly drifted between her and Astarion and her grip tightened on her blade. “That’s impossible,” he said as he reached for his crossbow. “There’s no way you’re –“
She stepped forward and slipped the blade free. Steel sunk deep into flesh and he choked out a garbled, surprised sound as his throat split open. Disgusting.
Blood sprouted from his neck and down his chest as he fell backwards, eyes wide with shock. But she had been too confident and she didn’t notice how he’d managed to get his crossbow out; how he pulled the trigger even as the last of the dark red pulsed from his throat.
The bolt stabbed directly through her thigh. It drove straight through the leather and pierced the flesh beneath even as the others drew their weapons to assist in a battle she’d already won.
She collapsed to one knee as his body thumped against the ground with a few ragged gasps. This was scarcely her first time being shot by a crossbow bolt but something must have coated the weapon. Poison or enchantment, she didn’t know but the pain and the weakness spread fast through her body and her blade fell onto the soft grass below.
“Are you alright?” Wyll arrived at her side first, concerned.
“I’m fine,” she reassured him through gritted teeth. “He’s dead right?”
“From what I could see,” Astarion said with a dramatic sigh. “Well, that’s a pity. I wanted to kill him myself.”
She ignored him and put a bit of pressure on the site of the injury. Her muscles burned fiercely as she decided to leave the bolt in for now. Rather not pull it out when she didn’t know what clung to it.
She slowly stood and blood pulsed down her leg in thick rivers. It slicked the area between her armour and left awful, sticky trails.
No visiting the strange old woman it would appear. She refused to explore a swamp when her leg felt like this.
She stepped forward and hissed in pain, just about collapsing once more if it hadn’t been for Wyll’s support on her back. Definitely something strange about this one.
“We do have spare health potions,” he said as he looked at the bolt. “But this has some magic on it. We should get back to the camp to make sure it isn’t going to deal any long-term damage.”
“I like that idea,” she admitted with a strained and uncomfortable laugh. “It’s a little sore.”
Over the past few days, she’d had many close calls with many weapons but this wooziness… she hated it. The air around her swam as she limped her way along the ridiculously long road back to their camp, reassuring her companions with soft words which held no purchase. Even they could see the way the energy drained from her body with each step.
She accepted only the occasional of assistance from Wyll and tried to make it appear as though the injury didn’t bother her.
Honestly, it had been her fault entirely. She should have noticed the crossbow and been more aware of when he pulled it free. Anger clouded her vision then and still did as they walked back.
The audacity of such a man who dared to threaten her friends… he agitated her even now when he lay on the floor, destined to be anything more than food for the various animals in the area.
Astarion didn’t return her occasional glances nor did he offer help.
She hoped he hadn’t become upset at her actions. Though he may have wanted to kill the hunter himself, she had seen an opportunity and taken it before anybody got hurt.
Well, aside from her.
The enchantment on the bold got removed swiftly but her body needed time to recover and the evening passed uncomfortably. Every muscle burned and her breaths came in soft, quick succession. She tried to keep her complaints quiet and not bother any companions. She had the antidote; she had a bandage. Now all she had to do was wait.
And wait.
The night’s hours stretched long as she lay in her tent. She prayed for sleep to find her but the ache in her bones and the burning pain refused to allow her an opportunity forward.
The footsteps distracted her from her twisting and turning. For somebody so akin to sneaking around, Astarion had stopped doing it after he’d given her a heart attack and she ended up headbutting him. He’d complained non-stop over it for at least an hour but now he didn’t sneak around anymore.
He stepped through the entrance of her tent, his hair haloed in moonlight. The night suited him as well as the day did. He looked practically ethereal as he drifted into her tent, every bit the predator she’d been warned about.
“Well, don’t you look like an absolute mess.”
She rolled her eyes and tilted her head away from him. “And it’s all because of you.”
“Me? It’s hardly my fault the man had a poisoned crossbow. You could have dodged it, you know. I’ve seen you twist your way out of worse hits than that.”
Almost always because of luck but she wouldn’t tell him as much. Instead, she offered him a small smile and tried to stop the tremble in her limbs. At least the pain felt lighter than before.
“Aren’t you meant to be cured or whatever by now?” he asked.
“Shadowheart said it’ll heal up by the morning at latest. I just have to last until then.” Exhausted of lying down, she pulled herself up into a sitting position, leaning against her travelling chest with her legs stretched out. “I’m surprised you came to visit. Are you worried?”
He put his hand to his heart and smiled. “You wound me. Of course, I’m worried. It’s not every day I find somebody dedicated enough to slice a man’s throat in my name.”
“The others would have done the same to keep you safe.”
“Nonsense. I wouldn’t trust any of them with catching a spider.”
She laughed. Though he complained, they were growing on him and she didn’t even need to prompt him to join their impromptu gatherings anymore.
“They like you.”
He ignored her comment and instead spoke of something else. “I believe my old master sent the hunter. He wants me back under his thumb, as I expected. This won’t be the only person he sends and not all will go down so easily.”
“I won’t get distracted next time then,” she laughed.
“Distracted?”
She gestured at him, knowing better than to voice the protectiveness for what it was. She didn’t understand it much either. “I’ve always told you how pretty you are. Now look what those sharp eyes have done. I couldn’t stop looking at them.”
She could play his game too. Offer him compliments and flattery instead of truth when he felt vulnerable.
“You can’t distract me with compliments,” he scoffed.
“Oh, I absolutely can.”
If she had the energy to do so, she would have continued but the wound pulsed in pain and she turned her attention to it, pressing against the soft skin to try and make it stop. The red bandage twisted her stomach into knots but it had stopped bleeding after a while.
Astarion appeared close to her unexpectedly, close enough to kiss with the smallest smirk on his face.
“You must try to stop yourself from getting hurt like this,” he said, trailing the faintest brush over her thigh. “It’s a waste of perfectly good blood. I almost couldn’t contain myself when I saw it running over your skin.”
She tried to laugh but it came out more exhausted than anything. “I’ll try but I make you no promises. My blood isn’t only yours.”
“Not yet. Perhaps the next time you give me the opportunity, I’ll drain it all so you can’t waste it.”
She tilted her head to the side to bear her throat, an exhausted but teasing smile in place. “I did say you could feed off me this morning, right? You’re welcome to take a bite now if you’re hungry.”
He appeared to not be able to tell if she joked or not. She smiled to tell him she was. Even if she had the blood to spare right now (and honestly, she didn’t), she doubted Astarion planned on feeding from her when he already felt as though he owed her some strange debt.
She’d noticed that about him. He only propositioned her when he felt as though he had to give her something in exchange.
It made her concerned.
He scoffed. “You couldn’t pay me enough. I can smell that rancid poison in your veins and it’s awful.”
She groaned and rolled her head back. “I hate this. It’s worse than that stupid apple I ate when we first entered the swamp and just as awful as when the goblin managed to sink its axe into my arm the other day. I thought I caught something from that at least.”
He chuckled. “Well, whatever magic was, it was likely intended for me so it probably won’t kill you.”
“If it’s going to kill me, I’d like it to get it over with. This pain is horrific.”
She expected him to leave soon but she took the opportunity to tap the spot beside her, asking him to sit down. What better company could she ask for? Elves didn’t sleep and despite pretending, Astarion certainly never allowed himself to meditate for very long at all.
“You’re very demanding, aren’t you?” Regardless, he took a seat and they lapsed into silence, punctuated only by her soft and somewhat shaky breaths.
She wanted to ask about the hunter. Wanted to know more about his old master and why he would be so desperate to claim a spawn back. Vampires could create as many spawn as they wanted to and he didn’t need to keep one at all times. It felt like a great deal of energy.
But as the silence stretched out, only one really bothered her enough to make her speak.
“Are you alright?”
“Obviously,” he laughed. “I’m not the one who got shot, was I?”
“No but I wouldn’t want to know a hunter is after me. I don’t want you to feel like you’re unsafe here.”
His smile turned bitter and unhappy as he answered that, his mouth twisted into a scowl. “Safe? Nowhere’s going to be safe as long as Cazador remains alive. The reach of a vampire lord goes far beyond what you may think.”
She may be a little light-headed for a proper conversation but she kept conscious, if unable to stop herself from leaning against his side. He was so cool. It felt amazing against the feverish nature of her skin and she wanted to hug him so badly.
“If he tries anything, I’ll make sure he doesn’t take you.”
He frowned at her and shifted his weight, not quite moving away from her but also not wholly embracing it. She hoped he would move away if he felt uncomfortable, as he did to a few of her other casual touches.
“You’re greatly misunderstanding the power he wields,” Astarion warned, his voice soft. “It would never be as simple as what we’ve seen so far. If he wanted to, he could stroll into this camp and whisk me away before you even noticed what had happened.”
Her solutions were a little scattered so she went for the easy one, taking his hand and lacing their fingers together before she could think about it.
“There,” she murmured. “If he tried to take you away now, I’ll notice immediately.”
Astarion’s muscles turned strangely tense and he made a small coughing sound, muttering something about how she would lose a hand then. She didn’t really hear it. Sleep crept up on her fast with the relaxing touch of his cool body and she lowered her head to his shoulder, eyes drifting closed.
When she woke in the morning, she lay alone in her tent beneath almost every blanket she owned and feeling brilliantly better. The pain faded and she felt ready to take on a hag.
Which incidentally is what they ended up doing. She spent the longest time afterwards wondering if she’d dreamed the previous night or not, distracted enough to nearly spill a bottle of unknown potion all over Gale. After a multitude of apologies, they made their way out and if Astarion’s hand brushed against the back of hers for a second, she didn’t mention it further.

Gojo Satoru x reader (smut, 18+ only, MDNI)
Your mouth trailed wet kisses along the side of his length, while pumping him softly. When you heard him sigh impatiently, you looked up and smirked as you kept teasing him.
"Y-Y/N the elevator will start working again we have to stop" his trembling voice was music to your ears and you paid no mind to his "complaining" as you kept twirling your tongue on his angrily red and swollen tip. He tried to muffle his moans in his hand, but he found himself grabbing a fist of your hair instead, urging you to keep going.
"Ah...this is s-so good" he whimpered and laid his head back on the elevator's wall. You took him in your mouth and started bombing your head up and down, while you made sure your tongue was still licking his tip. You could taste his cum as it was leaking out slowly from his tip and you kept going with the rhythm you knew he loved.
"If we get caught I'm blaming you" he tried to say through his whimpers, but as his body started shaking with pleasure and ecstacy, he felt like he was going to explode. The way you made him feel was incomparable. And as his was lost in his pleasure, you started playing with yourself, feeling getting wet just by the sight of Satoru's furrowed brows and his kissable mouth hanged open, silent moans escaping from it.
The moment he opened his eyes again and looked down at you to see you fingering yourself, he moaned loudly and his length twitched in your mouth.
"My goodness baby you look so pretty when you play with yourself like this" he groaned and he tried to fight the urge of having you spread out for him right now and eat you out like it was the last day on earth. Your mouth felt so good, taking his thick, veiny cock in while your warm tongue was licking everywhere.
"Hey guys are you ok? Don't worry we will fix it soon, just stay patient" a muffled voice said behind the closed door of the elevator, and you looked up at Satoru, expecting him to answer. He hardly could contain his whines as you continued taking him in your sweet mouth.
" y-yes Yes were fi-fuck" he whispered and grabbed your head, his hips jerking forward wanting to reach his high "fine! It's all good" he once again looked down at you, eyes burning with desire.
"Ok great" the man's hurried footsteps faded, indicating that he walked from the elevator door. You sucked Satoru's tip and he whimpered loudly, legs shaking and he tried to hide his flustered face from you.
"Oh look at you" you cooed "Weren't you the one saying that if we don't stay quite we'll get caught?" His cock was now in your head, pumping him faster as his suckable tip leaked more cum. You couldn't contain yourself and you licked it like it was a popsicle. He moaned at your movement and then he gave a hard stare, looking like he wanted to punish you for being so snarky with him.
"Put this mouth on good use sweetheart, cause you're going to make this worst for you after we finish from here" he said breathlessly and his hand reached out to grib your chin as he said "open". You opened and your mouth and he spitted in it, bringing your face closer to his thick shaft once more.
Satoru was very close and as he fisted your hair in his hands, he started moving his hips, making you choke a little. You were closer to your own orgasm too, as you kept fingering yourself, getting lost in the feeling of the pleasure.
He let out a hot moan and shot his load in your warm mouth, as you came from your high too. He pumped his length a few more times and you gladly welcomed every single drop.
Once you swallowed, he gently brought your body in his arms, holding you close and pampering you with kisses.
"You're ok sweetheart?" He pressed a kiss on your forehead and looked at you. You snuggled your head on the crook of his neck and held him tight.
"Hhmm" you hummed, feeling a little lightheaded from the pleasure. Then there was a sudden movement, and the elevator was working again. Once you got, Satoru grabbed you by your waist, bringing you close to him.
"You know I'm not done with you yet right?" He said and made your whole body shiver.
You were in for a long night that's for sure.

No Second Chances- Al Haitham x Azar's daughter! wife!Reader
Return to File
Recovery date: April 26th, 2024
Description: Hello sorry if I'm bothering you but I got an idea from this video. (https://youtu.be/ZcMI-CQcZ_c?si=Ri1SQU-0DO6PMtIV) What if the reader is the biological daughter of Azar and is currently married to Alhaitham and they have a toddler who's almost two years old and the reader wants nothing to do with Azar because of what he did though she was willing to try and keep a somewhat healthy relationship with him because at the end of the day Azar was still her father and her child's grandfather, the reader is a gentle, humble and soft-spoken woman who does try to avoid confrontation.
Notes: This work was recovered in conjunction with an anonymous researcher, we thank them for their contributions. This one was a little hard to write, so I'm sorry if it's not very good.

Al Haitham is not known for his empathy. He comes off as cold, he is calculating, and he doesn’t care for other people's bullshit. Those traits serve him well, they keep him out of trouble and on time, and they make it abundantly clear what he thinks of people.
He can count on one hand the people he tolerates excess complaining and illogical arguments from.
“You don’t have to see him,” Al Haitham whispers into the quiet room, tightening his hold on his wife.
She stops squirming, finally, but he knows she’s not done. He’s proven right when she fights against his hold to turn towards him and he opens his eyes to find her staring into his. Y/n places her hands on his chest, above his heart, and takes a deep breath. He can feel the pounding of her heart.
“I want Ehsan to know his grandfather.”
“He will.”
“Beyond what the history books will say,” Y/n sighed.
Al Haitham bit back a sigh. He couldn’t say he agreed with her, Azar hadn’t even been particularly present in her youth, but he understood what she was trying to do. When Azar had come to their wedding, she’d been ecstatic. When Ehsan had been born and he’d sent flowers, she’d started planning a day to bring him by the Academia. To her, Azar’s absence had always been explained and was never malicious so she was willing to give him a chance in her life.
That illusion she’d created, that her father carried, was now teetering after the recent events with the Akasha terminal. It was always so fragile, and now she was looking for a way to break it completely.
“It’s making you anxious,” Al Haitham said instead, resting his chin on her head and rubbing a hand up and down her back. “You hardly ate today.”
“I want my father to meet his grandson at least once, and you and Cyno went through all that trouble-”
“Y/n. We don’t care.”
She lowered her gaze, staring at her hands as she drummed her fingers against his chest. Al Haitham slid his hands around her waist to hold hers and placed a gentle kiss against her ring.
“Ehsan has a wonderful family already.” He nudges her chin up. “And if you tell any of them I said that I will put salt in your coffee.”
Y/n cracked a smile, and Al Haitham put his chin back on her head while wrapping his arms back around her.
“Get some sleep,” he whispered. “You can decide in the morning.”
---
Y/n took a deep breath before nodding at Cyno who opened the interrogation room door and let her in. She stepped in, fiddling with her fingers, and stared at the floor as she made her way to the empty chair. Azar watched her with stern eyes, hands folded on the table.
“I hear you’re being sent to Avidya forest.”
“Yes.”
Taking another deep breath, Y/n pressed her palms flat against the table and squeezed her eyes closed before meeting Azar’s eyes.
“Good luck.”
She got up from the chair and headed back towards the door.
“Is that all?” Azar asked, frowning.
“That’s all.”
“How’s Ehsan?”
Y/n stopped with her hand raised to knock for Cyno.
“He’s good, very smart… like his father. I think it would be better if maybe you take some time to think about things and then, if you want, we’ll come visit.”
“But he’s my grandson,” Azar snapped, making Y/n tense up and dig her nails into the palm of her hand.
“You’ve never met him, and the idea of seeing you makes me so nervous that he gets worried. So, for my son’s sake, goodbye,” she breathed, the shaky exhale causing her shoulders to relax as she knocked on the door.

Have a story about Valentino being a clingy drunk instead of an asshole
Vox was relaxing on the sofa watching a movie when suddenly Valentino burst in, or well he tried to, he smashed into the shut door thinking it was a revolving one because he's blind and drunk and that's a horrible combination. The overlord jumped at the noise, he only knew it was Val by the loud 'FUCK' that came after the smack, he avoided snickering as he got up to open for him. With the door out of the way Valentino fell on the ground. Normally Valentino can handle his drinks so this had to be a l o t "Val? Are you on something or just wasted?" A common question he has to ask.
Vox helped Val to the couch and he laid back reaching around for the pipe that was still on the floor like it was beside him until eventually just giving up. "I'm not high, does that mean we can have sex?" Vox may be an awful person but there a strict rule against anything when Valentino is like this or worse. He sat beside him and placed a blanket on him, ignoring the question entirely "Do you need a bucket or anything?" The pimp lizard blinked at the affection "I'm good-" the two are hardly affectionate but Vox makes exceptions when Val gets like this, the exception tonight is based on the fact Vox feels guilty for not checking the cameras. Vox keeps tabs on Val just as much as Alastor, if not more, he doesn't trust Valentino not to be too reckless when left alone.
Of course the one time he didn't check and was invested in a show Valentino just had to drink an entire bar, proving that point. He felt like he had to be nice to compensate since that's something he could have advised against if he knew. "I'm going to get you some water" the shorter demon quickly got up to go grab a glass but Valentino grabbed his hand and yanked him over top of him. "I said we can't-" Vox tried to sit up, immediately assuming that was what the other wanted, but to his surprise Valentino just wrapped those 4 arms around him. "Don't go" Vox blinked "I was just going to the kitchen-??" There was no response just a soft sink into his neck.
Vox really wasn't sure what to do in this situation, Valentino can be clingy but that was usually done by disturbing his work, not this, this is so... Sweet. Kind of cute actually. One hand slowly moved and pet the non injured antenna, being extra careful with it. It earned a squeak, startled but willing to allow it at the price of a demand "Tell me I'm pretty even though I feel like shit"
Vox paused, but complied, still very confused by this all. "You're pretty" There's that regular Valentino back, he's complaining "Not good enough, do it again" The other demon sighed before doing as told and 'trying again' "You're always pretty, being like this doesn't change that, even if I wish you wouldn't do that.." Valentino of course only heard the first part and was beaming with excitement. He gave a drunken 'yay'.
With that the two stayed cuddling for a little until eventually Val kicked himself out of the blanket using his feet, but he was struggling to get free because he had made Vox lay on him. Vox noticed and pulled back only to help, still staying in close contact to avoid complaints. "Better?" Valentino nodded and squirmed so he wasn't laying on his wings, that hurt. The wings opened properly to wrap around Vox and drag him back.
During this Vox had seen the outfit Val was wearing underneath: lingerie. And yes Val looks good but it made him anxious about the kind of night Val's had. "Did you have sex like this-?" It was borderline panic trying to keep a cool tone through the glitch. Valentino just smiled up at him not taking it seriously at all "Why? You offering?"
The TV demon shook his head and held Val's face with both hands, desperate for an actual answer "I'm serious. Did you??" Valentino paused, did he? He was really drunk so he had to think about it. "I don't think so?" That didn't help at all, so Vox quickly yanked out of the wings to check Valentino for hickies or bites, any hints, he seemed okay, but he's still going to review the footage later. The moth demon looked amused as a frantic Vox made his head tilt and made him lift a leg for that inspection "Are we going to do some doctor roleplay?" Vox simply ignored him and gently guided the wings to be around him again, rubbing the soft fur during the hold "We're not having sex, I've told you before you have to be 100% coherent"
Valentino grumbles "I'm coberant" "uh-huh.." he yawned a little "Okay you win, I'm kind of too tired for sex anyway just thought I'd offer" Vox held his waist under the wings "Don't do that, you should only offer when you mean it" Valentino wraps his legs around him in a non sexual way to cling "I like when you want me" "I always want you"
Self indigent, don't mind me, this was written at like 3am

when i'm feeling alone, you remind me of home
Tumblr media
pairing: reader x ben chilwell summary: you're stranded at uni by yourself for christmas with no flights going to london, but your boyfriend has other ideas warnings: nothing but fluff ❄️🫶🏼 word count: 2.5k
author’s note: here's another holiday one-shot! hoping to write at least one more before christmas. also btw there is no regard for the actual chelsea december fixtures or club rules in this story lol. title from christmas tree farm by taylor 🎄
-
You’ve always loved snow.
You loved playing in it as a little kid, making snowmen with your parents and going sledding with friends. You loved watching it from your window your first year of uni, seeing the blanket of white make Edinburgh look even more magical. You love bundling up to go ice skating and drinking hot chocolate as the snow falls around you.
But right now, you absolutely hate it.
A massive snowstorm rolling through the UK has caused the cancellation all flights, including the one you were supposed to take from Edinburgh to London tonight. It’s your last year of university there, but you’ve never missed a Christmas at home with your family and your boyfriend.
Now, it’s two days until Christmas and you’re stranded alone in your little flat with absolutely no way of making it home.
“What? You can’t get a train?” Ben asks after you’ve explained your predicament to him sadly.
As much as you feel bad about missing the holiday with your parents, you feel really bad about not being able to see Ben. With your busy schedules, you’ve hardly seen him in months, and you even missed his birthday a couple days ago because you had an exam. Now, you were supposed to finally have an entire week with him in London.
You were going to go to Winter Wonderland and complain about tourists and end up going back to his to snuggle by the fireplace. You were going to have Christmas morning with your family and dinner with his, spending the whole day exchanging gifts and fond memories. You were going to watch his game on the 27th and bundle up in your warmest Chelsea gear to cheer your heart out for your man, which you’ve really missed doing lately.
You miss everything about him, really.
But instead, you’re going to be eating Indian takeaway leftovers and watching Love Actually to try to make yourself feel better.
“The trains are all full, I checked,” you sigh.
“Well, let me see if I can charter a plane-“
“Ben,” you cut him off before he gets ahead of myself. Although it’s quite extravagant for him to spend tens of thousands of dollars getting you there, you know he would do it in a heartbeat. “All flights are grounded, not just mine. It’s not possible.”
“But…there must be something.”
You can picture his disappointed face right now, and it brings tears to your eyes just thinking about it.
“I’m so sorry, baby,” you reply, sinking into your couch. “You know I would do anything to be there with you right now.”
“Don’t apologize to me, love, I can’t believe you’re going to spend Christmas alone,” Ben sighs. “This is so shit. I just wanna see you and hold you.”
“I know,” you exhale. “I miss you so much. The only thing that got me through exams was thinking about being home with you and playing with Oscar in the snow and baking cookies…”
You can feel yourself getting choked up, tears beginning to stream down your cheeks as you think about all you’ll be missing out on. You feel a bit silly, knowing there are people with far bigger problems in the world, but you’ve been working yourself to death for the past month to ace your finals and this trip home was the shining light at the end of the tunnel.
“Oh, sweetheart,” Ben says sadly. “I miss you so much too. I wish there was something we could do.”
“Like control the weather?” you joke, trying to lighten the mood despite the tears running down your face.
“You know I would do it if I could,” he replies seriously. “I’m sorry this is happening, babe. Maybe the weather will clear up in a day or two and you’ll still be able to make it out for a few days, yeah?”
“Yeah, I suppose,” you breathe - some time with Ben and your family is better than nothing, but you’re still going to be alone for Christmas morning. “I should let you go, I don’t want to stop you from having a nice holiday too. Say hi to your mum and Alex for me when they get there, alright?”
“I will, baby,” Ben says. “I’ll text you later and call you in the morning, alright?”
“Alright,” you sniffle, wiping your tears away. “I love you.”
“I love you too. Bye, love.”
The moment Ben hangs up, you toss your cell onto the cushion beside you and bury your face in the pillow, groaning in frustration.
After feeling sorry for yourself for a bit, you reluctantly get up and go to turn up the heat and change into something warmer, as the temperatures outside continue to drop. You grab Ben’s hoodie from your closet, a cozy grey one you stole last time you were in London. It barely smells like him anymore, since that was over a month ago and you’ve worn and washed it several times, but it’s still a small comfort to wear something of his.
You heat up your dinner and put on the film, although the romantic scenes and the shots of London only seem to make you more homesick.
You text Ben during his favourite part, which is naturally Hugh Grant dancing around 10 Downing Street.
The annual Love Actually rewatch isn’t the same without you babe. Hope you’re having fun with the fam ❤️
He takes a while to respond, which you hope means he’s having a better time than you are and enjoying being with his family.
You’re just drifting off to sleep when his text finally comes in.
It’s not the same here without you either. Goodnight baby, talk in the morning 😘
-
You wake up to the sound of your phone ringing.
You briefly think it’s your alarm, but you don’t remember setting one, certainly not for 7AM, which is the current time according to your watch.
You blearily stretch your arms, a bit of a crick in your neck from falling asleep on the couch, and reach around haphazardly for your phone.
You see Ben’s name and contact photo on the screen and you quickly answer, worried something is wrong if he’s calling you at this time.
“Ben? Are you okay?”
“Yeah, everything’s fine,” he assures you. “Can you go downstairs? There’s a delivery for you.”
“What?” you yawn, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. “What on earth have you sent me at seven in the morning?”
“Just go check, I think you’ll like it,” Ben promises, and you can hear the smile tugging at his lips. “Quickly, babe. This is time sensitive.”
You roll your eyes fondly as you throw the blanket off yourself and slide on your slippers, leaving the warmth of your flat to go down the stairs and see what’s waiting for you outside the main doors. You can only imagine what ridiculous present your boyfriend had shipped to you overnight to try to make up for your failed Christmas.
You tighten Ben’s hoodie around your body to brace yourself for the cold before opening the door, your eyes on the ground where you’re expecting the package to be.
Instead, you see a familiar pair of Nikes - and your eyes trail up to see the very familiar man wearing them.
You’re not sure if you’re dreaming, so you blink a few times, only to be greeted with the same sight - your perfect, adorable boyfriend standing in front of you in his puffer jacket and hat, his cheeks red from the cold and his smile absolutely blinding.
“Ben?” you gasp. “Why are you - how are you here?”
“I couldn’t let you spend Christmas alone.”
You meet him halfway as he drops his bags to the ground and opens his arms for you to throw yourself at him. You hug him as tight as you can, burying your nose in his neck and inhaling his scent. You can’t believe this is really happening.
“How the hell did you get here?” you ask as he squeezes your waist tightly and kisses the top of your head.
“I drove,” Ben murmurs.
You pull back to look at him, your eyes wide with disbelief.
“You drove? It’s, like, eight hours-“
“Twelve in a snowstorm, apparently,” Ben chuckles. “But definitely worth it for this.”
“You drove all night through a snowstorm for me?”
You can feel tears beginning to brim in your eyes once again, though these are tears of joy. You can’t believe how insanely lucky you are to have a man who loves you this much.
“Of course I did, I would do anything for you,” Ben says like it’s the most obvious thing in the world, brushing his nose against yours. “Now, if you don’t mind, it’s been a long night and I would really love a kiss.”
Without hesitation, you grab his face and kiss him passionately, sighing with joy at the feeling of being reunited with your boyfriend. You’re certain that this is the most romantic and wonderful thing anyone has ever done for you, and although you never expected the best kiss of your life to happen on your doorstep at 7am in a blizzard, this just might take the top spot.
“I love you so damn much,” you whisper against his lips when you finally pull away. “But I am also slightly mad at you for driving at night in poor conditions.”
Ben laughs and rolls his eyes a bit. “I promise I was safe, but can we go inside where it’s warmer before we argue about it?”
“Hmm, okay,” you grin, pecking his lips a few more times before helping him lug his bags up the stairs to your flat.
Once you’re inside and Ben’s taken off his shoes and coat, you waste no time in wrapping your arms around him and kissing him again.
“You’re freezing, sweetheart,” you murmur as his cold hands slide under your - his - hoodie to feel your skin. “Want a tea? Or do you want to go straight to bed? You must be exhausted.”
“A tea and a cuddle would be perfect,” Ben smiles, pecking your forehead.
You tell him to go get comfy on the couch while you make tea for both of you, and when you return, he’s waiting for you with open arms and a sleepy grin on his face.
You place both mugs on the coffee table and curl up next to him, your face in the crook of his neck and your arms and legs tangled.
You let out a content sigh as your bodies recalibrate after so much time apart. You knew you needed this, but you didn’t know quite how much until right now.
“I can’t believe you’re here,” you murmur, kissing his jaw. “What about your mum and Alex, though?”
“I told them how sad you sounded on the phone and they encouraged me to go, though my mum was slightly nervous about me making the drive-“
“As she should be,” you scold gently.
“I told you, I was very careful, and there were hardly any cars on the roads,” Ben promises once again. “Anyways, they were all for it. They knew I would’ve been miserable without you there.”
You hug him a bit tighter, hooking your leg around his. “Wait, you have a game in three days. Did the club really sign off on this?”
“I managed to persuade Poch to give me today off to go see my girl, I think he’s a bit of a softie at heart,” Ben jokes. “And we have tomorrow and the day after off for Christmas anyways. We’ll just have to drive back on the 26th, the roads are supposed to clear by then. I know it’s not the same as Christmas in London with both our families, but this is better than being apart, right?”
“Ben,” you say sincerely, cupping his cheek with one hand. “This is the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for me. A cozy Christmas with just the two of us sounds absolutely perfect. Thank you, baby.”
Your lips meet in another sweet kiss, one that quickly escalates as you feel your boyfriend’s hands on your hips and thighs for the first time in a month. You moan into his mouth as he tugs you into his lap.
“I missed you so much,” you breathe between kisses, tugging his hat off to run your hands through his messy hair.
“I can tell, hoodie thief,” Ben teases, fiddling with the soft material. “You look unreal in that, by the way. And I missed you more.”
You smile into another kiss, getting completely lost in him and his scent and his touch. Even after years together, you’re completely addicted to him.
You’re ready to take it further and move to your bedroom, but you’re interrupted by a yawn from Ben. He tries to kiss you again afterward, but you laugh softly and hold his face.
“You need sleep, Benjamin.”
He pouts slightly in protest, but you kiss him again quickly and it goes away.
“Babe, you’re exhausted,” you murmur softly. “We can go cuddle in my bed and continue this later.”
Ben sighs and nods as you climb off him and extend your hand to help him up. He doesn’t let go of your hand, though, instead pulling you into another warm hug. He’s so sleepy and adorable that you could nearly cry as he nuzzles his face into your hair.
He’s always been a very tactile person, and you know that for every time you tell him how much you missed and love him, he will hold you a little bit longer or kiss your forehead to say the exact same thing.
When you finally pull apart, you take him by the hand and lead him into your bedroom. He strips down to his boxers, which is how he prefers to sleep even in the dead of winter. He says you run hot enough to keep him warm, though you’re not sure if that’s true or he just likes to maximize your skin-on-skin contact.
He’s much warmer now than when you found him on your doorstep, so it’s not a shock to your system when you climb into bed with him and he immediately pulls you into his chest.
“I promise once you’ve had a proper rest I’ll make the drive worth your while, baby,” you say with a slight smirk as you wrap your arm around him and nuzzle your face into his neck.
Ben just tightens his grip on you and closes his eyes, a content smile on his face.
“It was worth it the second you opened the door.”
As you watch your boyfriend drift off to sleep, feeling so full of love for him that you might burst, you make a mental note to make it extra worth it for him later just for that adorable comment.
After you’ve both slept a few hours and spent another few making up for lost time, you spend the rest of Christmas Eve watching films and baking cookies.
The next morning, you both wake up early and exchange presents in your festive pyjamas. It’s not the same as if you were in London with both your families, but it’s still perfect because you’re together.
And a year later, when you’ve graduated and you’re celebrating your first Christmas in your new home with a diamond ring on your finger, it’s even better.
i hope you enjoyed this story! and thank you for all your lovely comments on my last fic. if anyone wants to be added to a taglist for my ben fics in the future, please let me know! ❤️💚

♥━━━━━━━━━━•.♡.•━━━━━━━━━━━━♥
Jungkook has been regressing ever since losing you.
Namjoon has never seen him like this before. The young man is hardly talking, communicating rather in sounds of either disapproval or agreement over questions he's asked, behavior more lead by instincts than ever before. It worries Namjoon; so much so, that currently, he's browsing on his phone for therapy spots in Seoul for predator hybrids like Jungkook. Even if he doesn't want to admit it, there is, after all, a chance of you not ever coming back- and he wants to be somewhat prepared for it.
A hybrid losing their mate is a traumatic thing, after all.
Namjoon himself has to function, put his own emotions aside, because he needs to support Jungkook down the line. He's promised that.
The black panther is currently napping on the bed in the hotel they've rented, a rare moment of silence giving Namjoon a moment to breathe. Jungkook doesn't know how much stress he's putting on his owner after all, and it's also nowhere near his fault for being like this. Trauma just affects hybrids differently than humans.
What pains him even more is the fact that even in this state, Jungkook is still Jungkook- he instantly became apologetic after scratching him by accident earlier today, becoming clingy and needy for reassurance.
Namjoon is looking at a remote therapy center when a call interrupts him, number foreign and unknown to him- and his first instinct is that it might just be the police with an update to the situation as he answers, while Jungkook stirs a little on the bed, stretching his limbs. The voice on the other line is foreign, and it takes his brain a second to recognize the language as japanese, before it switches to a female voice speaking korean. "Hello? Is this Kim Namjoon?" The voice asks, and Namjoon furrows his brows, absentmindedly running his hand over Jungkooks shoulder as the black panther hybrid growls a little under his breath.
"Yes. Who is this?" He asks, when the voice continues.
"This is Tokyo Central Hospital, I'm calling because we have a hybrid here with the Tattoo Number 134340-" She asks, and Namjoon instantly sits up straight, knocking Jungkook's head off of his lap as a result. Instead of complaining however, the hybrid seems to realize the shift in mood right away, now leaning in closer to hear what's being said over the phone as well.
"Yes, I'm the owner, is- is she okay?!" He instantly demands, voice cracking a little midway in the sentence.
And his only thought is: Please don't say it.
"She's been brought to the ER today a few hours prior, but she's currently stable. Is there any way for you to come here? I know you live-" She, again, doesn't get to finish her sentence, Jungkook already having tumbled down the bed in his hurry to fetch his shoes, Namjoon having to harshly pull the hybrid's tail to get him to stay still for just a moment.
"We'll be there as soon as we can- is it alright if I bring along another hybrid?" He asks, and Jungkook swipes his tail from side to side aggressively, knocking over a pen on the table behind him.
The female nurse chuckles. "That's alright for us here, I think it would actually help a lot to have some people she knows around her, she's been quite scared." She explains, and Namjoon nods at Jungkook, finally letting the buzzing hybrid rush to get his shoes and jacket on.
"Thank you so much, we'll be there soon." Namjoon informs her, before hanging up, and rushing to grab onto the hood of Jungkook's sweater. "Come here, I won't risk losing another one." He scolds, putting Jungkook's collar on, before he takes a deep breath.
Time to bring you home.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"So, she is unconscious right now because we've given her a lot of pain relief-" The nurse explains, leading both through the busy department where patients are being treated. Namjoon had instantly asked to be explained what's been happening and what's going to happen, wanting, no, needing to know what's going on to reassure himself of you being fine. "-and she is a little bruised, but she's stable enough for now." She continues to explain. "I'd like for you not to crawl into bed with her to avoid causing anymore damage, we're still waiting for the results of the scans to come back, but you can hold her hand and sit close to her alright?" She asks Jungkook, who nods once before turning his attention back to his environment, as if to scan for where you might be. "He's not much of a talker, is he?" She chuckles, as Namjoon nods a little.
"He's usually a lot more controlled, but the situation had put a lot of stress on him." He apologizes almost, making the nurse nod in understanding.
"That's alright." She says, before she stops walking and pulls a curtain back. "Alright, come on in."
Jungkook is instantly at your side, almost tripping over the cables attached to you, the black panther instantly holding your hand, nuzzling the back of it to get his scent back onto you, whining quietly to himself. "I'll let the doctor know you're here." She simply informs Namjoon before she leaves, pulling the curtain shut again to give you some privacy.
In a way, everything becomes dull in the background for Namjoon.
None of the noises reach him, nothing that goes on around you can really come into focus as he sits down calmly on one of the chairs at the side, simply watching Jungkook cling onto you. You really look like you're only sleeping- apart from a couple of scratches on the side of your jaw, and all of the equipment hooked onto you to monitor your condition, you look almost relaxed. He can spot one of your ears being shaved on the inside, probably done by the medical staff to be able to read your ID tattoo properly. He can't stop simply staring for a moment, rhythmic beeping of the heart monitor calming him down somewhat, when a tall man walks in.
"Alright, Hello." The doctor introduces himself with his name and profession, before he laughs when Jungkook growls a little, the hybrid probably feeling threatened by the young and a lot taller male. "Well, hello to you too." He jokes, making Namjoon laugh a little as well. "So I just looked at her results, and it's thankfully a lot less than we initially expected." He explains, and while talking to Namjoon about what's going to have to be done moving forward, Jungkook is busy re-familiarizing himself with you.
There's nothing else on his mind at the moment than you, there, existing, alive.
"Jungkook- come here for a moment, they need to work for a second, okay?" Namjoon carefully tries, running a hand over the hybrid's shoulder. He shakes his head immediately at the prospect of having to leave you again, but at the sight of the nurses, he understands.
Though he can't help but side-eye the tall doctor as he walks past him.
But his jealousy is quickly drowned out as he watches several nurses move and prepare things. He instantly whines and struggles a bit as Namjoon holds him close somewhat on his thigh, very much just as distressed at seeing them move around. "She's got a collapsed lung on the left side, so we're going to insert a small tube to help re-inflate it. It might wake her up since it's quite an uncomfortable procedure, but it's necessary." A nurse explains, and Namjoon nods. "She won't be in pain, but she'll still feel it." She clarifies, and Jungkook hides his face in his owner's neck, who in return stares blankly at the way they work on you.
Surely enough, you do wake up from it, whining pitifully at the confusing surroundings and strange things done to you, nurses doing their best to reassure you that you're fine. It's quite an odd scene to be living through, but frankly, Namjoon is more so relieved that you're in the best care you can be for now.
"Kim Namjoon?" Someone asks, and he looks up at a police officer. "We're aware that this must be a distressing situation, but we'd like to fill you in on the situation at the moment." The man explains, and Namjoon nods. "She was found roaming around tokyo's subway station, security cameras show her being dropped off by a person we've already identified and taken into custody." He says, reading from a notepad. "According to him, he'd been told to 'throw her out' because she was never an intention target from the start. She was, unfortunately, at the wrong place during the wrong time." He sighs.
"Will they look into Seoul's lack of care when she was discharged as well?" Namjoon darkly asks, running a hand over his hybrid's back.
"Thats for the south korean police to decide- though I believe they're looking into it as we speak." The man offers. "For now I can tell you that, even if under unfortunate circumstances and not intentionally, she's been the lead we've been searching for for months. 136 Hybrids had been discovered this morning due to her showing up." He says.
"Thats good to hear." Namjoon simply nods, and the police officer excuses himself before he leaves you all alone again, everything having settled down quite a bit.
And then, your eyes fall on your family, and the dam breaks.
"We're right here love, don't cry." Namjoon immediately hurries out, walking closer with Jungkook who latches back onto your hand. "You'll be fine." Your owner says, and you nod.
"...joon?" You ask meekly, voice cracking a bit.
"Hm?" Namjoon asks, leaning in to hear you better-
But instead of talking, you simply peck his cheek-
And his tears flow freely at that.

Hiya, I've had this idea tinking around in my brain for a while now but- How do you think Wolfwood would be around someone who's Vash and Knives' younger sibling?
wolfwood + vash/knives' sibling(platonic & romantic)
Tumblr media
word count; 562
warnings; none!!
note; gawd this man is so FINE i swear to gods,,, anyways thank you so much for requesting!! this is such a cute idea, i totally ran with it haha <3 sorry for the tiny break, got caught up w birthday stuff and work!
cross-posted to ao3
Tumblr media
PLATONIC
at first, nick honestly saw you as a bit of a nuisance
"great, a jr needle noggin. we gotta babysit while trying to keep our hides safe as well?"
instead of being offended, you ended up laughing - which took him by surprise
unlike most who endured his constant teasing, wolfwood was glad someone could go back and forth with him
on top of that, you made a show of proving you could handle yourself fine, effectively showing him up
"not bad, kid." a playful, teasing ruffle of your hair as he passed you
"i know, right? 'm pretty awesome," you shot back, earning a chuckle
"sure, sure, whatever floats your boat."
"i'd sure love to see you take down two bandits at once without using that cross of yours," you quipped back, catching up to him
ROMANTIC (all of the stuff above + more)
one day, the teasing became something. . .more to wolfwood
it wasn't the same as when he went at meryl, or what it was when he started with you
he would often get flustered and stumble over his words whenever you would prod at him
this, in turn, would cause you to dig into him even more until he would storm away from you or stop talking altogether
the rest of the group would also notice this change in wolfwood's behavior, meryl catching onto what was going on way before you and vash would
god, the two of you were so similar
seeing that you were too oblivious and wolfwood would be way too prideful to admit anything, meryl decided it was up to her to clear the air
she took advantage of the peace aboard the sand steamer, right as day began to fade into a beautiful, starry night
the four of you were on the observation deck, watching the great expanse of the great sand ocean whiz by
"hey, vash, can you come with me? i wanted to, uh, check out something," meryl said, tugging on the sleeve of his red coat.
"why do i have to go?" vash questioned as meryl tugged him along regardless
as they left, vash complaining that he wanted to look at the stars and meryl hushing him, you glanced sideways at the always stoic wolfwood
"sure is pretty." you broke the silence, leaning forward against the railing. "you okay?"
snapping out of his stupor, wolfwood mirrored you and leaned forward as well, nodding his head
"just been in my own head is all," he admitted and you raised an eyebrow as a cue for him to continue. "it's nothin', really."
"clearly not," you responded, bumping your shoulder against his. "did i overstep a line or somethin'? you're hardly as chatty as you used to be, nico. i'm sorry if i did, i just thought-"
"(name), you didn't do anything wrong," he interrupted, slowly reaching over and putting his hand over yours. "i just, i -"
"WOULD YOU TWO JUST KISS ALREADY?!"
you both whirled around, wolfwood scowling and you blushing, to see vash dragging away meryl, who fruitlessly punched at the air
you heard wolfwood 'tsk' and as you turned to look at him, to laugh it off, you were met with his lips on yours, needy and somewhat desperate for you to kiss back
you happily did so, noting that it seemed his favorite flavor of lollipop was strawberry with how the sweetness mixed with the bitter of cigarettes

Dead Rising (Zosan X Reader) Alternative ending
Please Read Dead Rising first before reading this thank you
Zoro X Sanji X Reader, Poly relationship, established relationship,
Plot: After seeing both his lovers die and one of them come back to try and kill him. Zoro wakes up back on the sunny only to find you and Sanji still alive.
Warning: Death, Blood, Injuries, Suicide, bad language and trauma.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sky was dark as Zoro sat there on the shop floor his blood soaked blade on his lap, he couldn't bring himself to move in anyway, but he knew yours and Sanji's bodys where next to him, it felt so unreal, he couldn't cope only one thing flooded his mind as he raised the blood soaked sward above him, Shusui the beautiful black blade that caused so much death and destruction he begged and pleaded in his head for this to have never happened to bring you two back before bringing the blade down.
"Zoro, Zoro get up, were going" Your voice yells out as a hard kick hits his leg. Zoro's eyes shoot open as he gasps out of shock, where was he? is this the after life? It was warm but the breeze was cold as he sat up looking around to find that he's on the grassy deck of the Sunny "Zoro, we're ready to leave come on" Your voice makes him jump a little but look your way, you look fine, no bites or blood, no sweaty yet pale skin but you were wearing the same clothes and that bag, the bag you tried to fill up with food before "Y/N" Zoro yells out getting off the floor and hugging you tight, your real, your alive "Zoro, hay Hun what's wrong?" you ask but your words fall on def ears as the swordsman looks over your shoulder at the town, the town you were all just in "What the fuck is going on?" Zoro whispers as you push him off you "I was about to ask you that, you ok? You look hell" You comment noticing his sweaty and shaky stature. "Your alive, thats all that matters" Zoro smiles placing his lips on yours, there soft and smooth and a little warm not like how he remembered before you passed. You lean in letting him have this moment to calm him down but when he pulls away he's still nervous and shaky.
Sanji walks back onto the Sunny, he was waiting for you to wake Zoro up but it was taking too long "Hay, come on already" The cook yells with an annoyed tone, he was sick of hearing Luffy complain about wanting food and just wanted this trip over and done with but was caught off guard when Zoro runs at him and pulls the cook into a hug "Zo-ro" Sanji pats the man on the back hardly able to breath form the overly tight hug which soon loosens but the swordsman doesn't let go instead the pulls the cook away form the bridge leading down to the village "Ok your acting really strange what is going on?" You ask walking over to the two "We're not going into town, where leaving and never looking back" Zoro's voice is demanding which throws you both off guard "We need food" Sanji try's to push the man off him but to no avail "NO" The swordsman yells getting Chopper and Usopp's attention while their working on something along with Robin who was sitting reading a book. "We-" Sanji yells back only for Zoro to pull you both closer to him "I'm not losing you two again. We can service for a few more days, Luffy's gonna have to suck it up" You and Sanji gasp a little at his words looking up the the distraught swordsman.
You place your hand on his cheek rubbing your thumb under his eye to wipe away a stray tear "Hun, it just a dream. Everything's ok now" you try to keep your voice calm but his look told you it wasn't ok "No it wasn't, i don't know what it was but i felt everything, you two got bit by some undead things and then you got sick and - and then you died and come back trying to kill us. i-i" His grip on you tightens as he talks looking down at you like your were a ghost not alive in any way "I had to... i felt your blood on my hands the pressure from my sword and your limp body falling into my arms" Zoro turns to Sanji a look of fear in the cooks eyes, you both had no idea if this was real or not but the way he was talking about it made you both think maybe it did happen "You wanted me to kill you but i couldn't, i couldn't do it but when you died in my arms i-i had to, i didn't want you coming back like that. i couldn't watch you turn into one of those things and then i-i couldn't go on i just co-" You cut him off by hugging him feeling his tears wet your shirt as you press your face into his shoulder while Sanji places his forehead against the swordsman's "It's ok, its over now, were all alive" The cook reassures getting Zoro to stop panting so hard.
Chopper and Usopp walk over soon followed by Robin "How about we make some tea to calm down, lets make sure no one leaves for now ok" Robin instructs Chopper and Usopp who head off to pull up the ramp and tells the others to stay on the ship while she heads off to the kitchen to make some tea. "Thanks Robin" Zoro whispers holding you both close. You run your hand through his hair kiss his neck before pulling back to look at him, the tears have stopped, and he looks much calmer but you can sense something is off, the feeling gets worse when you wrap your arm around his waist touching the hilt of his swords. You know a little about his three swords mainly from what Zoro's told you but are they supposed to feel like that "Zo, your swords off" you comment making him look down at his waist, he was too emotional before to senses it but now that he's calmed down he can feel the strange aura coming off Shusui as if it was calling out to him. "Come on lets get inside and figure this ok" Sanji pulls of Zoro's arm getting the man to walk with him to the Kitchen, Zoro takes your hand not willing to let either of you go yet but you don't mind and follow along.
It took Zoro almost an hour to explain everything that happened and the detail shocked you, he knew the name of the village even though there was no sigh for it even close to the sunny and described the shop and Supermarket in detail. It scared you a lot especially with Shusui on the dinning room table still giving off that strange heavy feeling, Sanji said he could feel it too while Robin, Chopper and Usopp couldn't as they sat across from the three of you listening to everything. Robin suddenly got out of her chair making you all turn to her "I'm sure i've seen the towns name before, I'll check the liberty" As she leaves you turn your attention back to Zoro who seems a lot calmer but still won't let you or Sanji out of his sight "You ok?" You ask running your hand over his cheek while he's clutching the cup in his hand "Hu? oh! yea, i'm fine baby" Zoro sighs putting the cup down and placing a hand around you pulling you into him while his other hand is holding Sanji's "Hay Chopper have you heard of anything like this?" Sanji asks wondering if Zoro hit his head or something, anything would be better than him actually living it "Not that i can think of, i've heard of that thing people say but its nothing like this" Chopper sighs sitting back in his chair "You mean deja vu?" Usopp asks getting a nod from the doctor "As for the symptoms you described these are a few viral disease that match it but none of them can bring people back from the dead" Chopper shivers a little scared to think back to the last time they saw a dead man walking on Thriller bark.
Sanji leans over to Zoro and lays his head on the mans shoulder as the kitchen door opens and Robin walks back in with a very old book "I knew i had heard the name before, it's a very old town that was used for experiments" The black haired woman sits back down opening the book and showing a small map of the village, the supermarket and shop were on there. You all look closer the feeling of sickness over taking you but you manage to not show it too much, the thought that it really happened is strong in your head "The last experimental had to do with bringing dead soldiers back to life, but they couldn't risk using it on real solders, so they tested it again on this village, the people who lived there were criminals who would have a home, job and comfy life if they agreed to be a part of the trials. Although the book said it worked but things got out of hand fast. The dead became hungry but only for living things, the virus could be passes on through a bite and it spread fast." Robin looks up with a small smile seeming to enjoy talking about it in some way "What you described about the supermarket was correct, The solders locked up the dead inside the back intending to find a cure but that never happened, they just abandoned the place" Zoro's grip on you and Sanji got tighter, he knew what happened was real, but he hopes he was wrong, it really did happen but how?
Sanji hugs the Swordsman tight, he may not remember what happened, but he believed Zoro and for once he thought to hell with the food, they can last a few days on what ever he can scrounge up. You on the other hand couldn't take your eyes off Shusui, the aura it was giving out felt a lot lighter and faded in and out in the rhythm of a heart beat. "Shusui came from that Zombie swordsman right?" You ask catching Zoro off guard who turns to you pulling you closer to him and away form the swords laying on the table "Yea." The swordsman states now noticing the change in aura from the sword, it calls out to him trying to tell him something "What does that have to do with anything?" Usopp asks raising an eyebrow "I don't know, it just feels like, maybe its connection to the undead has something to do with it" You shrug "I feel it too, its weird" Sanji sighs looking over the sword "Some swords bond with their wielder and can influence them so its not a stretch to say that Shusui had something to do with all this" Zoro chimes in making you feel less crazy for thinking it "I remember you talking about something like that, maybe it was some kind of vision" Chopper smiles standing on his seat at the doctors words the sword's aura becomes intense before disappearing as if telling you thats the answer.
Zoro laughs before grabbing the sword and putting it back on his side "I think you hit the nail on the head Chopper, now can we please leave this place" Zoro leans back as Usopp stands and nods "I'll go tell Nami, Luffy isn't going to be too happy though" The sniper rubs the back of his neck before leaving soon followed by Robin who offered a helping hand "Are you ok?" Chopper asks noticing Zoro's blank stare "Yea Chopper i'm good, Why don't you go and help them" Chopper nodded seeing that the swordsman wanted to be alone with you two so headed out the kitchen door. "I'm sorry" Zoro sighs as you and Sanji look at him "I know you two didn't see it but, i couldn't do anything to help." Sanji turns to the swordsman and places a hand on the mans leg "You did what you could, you couldn't stop any of it from happening at the time but you stopped us from going" Zoro looks at the cook with a sad look "You begged me to kill you but i couldn't. I let you suffer before dying, it was selfish" Sanji shakes his head and leans in placing a kiss on the swordsman's lips "I know its still fresh, but we're here, we're alive and thats all thanks to you" The cook smiles pulling away seeing a small smile form on Zoro's face. "Thank you Zoro, your amazing and its all over now" you lean over and place a kiss on the swordsman's cheek.
Zoro turns to you and places his lips on yours giving you a short kiss before the sunny starts moving. The swordsman breaths a sigh of relief, their leaving this island and never coming back, you two are with him and it'll stay that was for as long as he can help it. "Come here" Zoro pulls on your waist band making you get up, pulling you over to his lap where he pulls you in and holds you close while his other arm holds Sanji "I love you both" The green haired man relaxes at the feeling of you two with him your heads on his shoulders and your steady breaths on his neck "I love you too Hunk and you dear" You smile kissing Zoro's neck then looking to Sanji interlocking your fingers with his. "I love you both too... my lovers" Sanji relaxes into the swordsman and holds your hand taking in the feeling of love and care. The nightmare is over and if it weren't for Shusui's connection with the dead then he wouldn't be here with you two, he doesn't know how to thank the sword, but he'll have to find a way. As for right now you and Sanji are the most important thing, and he's not letting you two out of his sight anytime soon.

Double Rainbow: The Purchase III
Ilia: *wakes up a warm bed, covered in silk pajamas*
Ilia: *blinks as she opens her eyes*
Ilia: *panicks, as this is impossible*
Ilia: *rushes to her feet, looking around the room*
Ilia: *calms down a bit as she realizes where she is*
Ilia: *panicks as she looks behind her*
Ren: *places his hand on her shoulder*
Ren: You are safe here. The worst thing that will happen to you is Nora might eat your pancakes.
Nora: *sits up in bed*
Nora: I'm not going to.
Ren (admonishingly): Lying will not help her.
Nora: Okay, fine. Yes, I will eat your pancakes, but can you blame me?
Jaune: *sits up in his bed*
Jaune: Nora, don't eat her pancakes.
Nora (whining): But?..
Jaune: What am I going to have to do?
Nora: You're not going to spank me, are you?
Jaune: What?
Nora: Because if you spank me, I think it counts as adoption.
Jaune: What?
Nora: You can't fool me. I know you've got like a billion sisters.
Ren: Seven.
Nora: So, you have to have room for one more.
Ren: Two.
Jaune: I kind of ran away from my family.
Nora: So, you're an orphan, too?!
Jaune: . . .
Pyrrha: I would thank you all to not bother my bed warmer.
Ilia: I'm not bothered.
Nora: Because you look bothered.
Ilia: After everything I did, after I got caught, I could have ended up in the Schnee mines. Instead, I have a warm bed, and... I can't believe it, but silk pajamas.
Nora: Yeah, Weiss has trouble understanding that not everyone is as spoiled as she is.
Jaune: We're not going to bad mouth Weiss for buying Ilia pajamas.
Nora: We're not?
Jaune: We're going to do something to thank you.
Nora: Like what, bake cookies?
Jaune: *thinks for a moment*
Jaune: Yes.
* * *
*knock on the door*
Weiss: *opens door*
Ilia (maid outfit): *holding a tin*
Weiss: Offering from your master?
Ilia (nervously): He asked me to give it to you as a thank you for the clothing.
Weiss: Oh, yes, well, thank you.
Weiss: *takes the cookie tin*
Weiss: *walks into the room*
Ruby: *Petal Bursts in front of her*
Weiss: *opens the tin*
Weiss: Oh, yes, home-baked cookies. How quaint. This is a standard gift among...
Weiss: *looks between R_BY*
Weiss: You. I should thank him.
Weiss: *turns back to the door*
Yang (admonishingly): Weisscream.
Weiss: *turns back to Yang*
Weiss: Yes?
Yang: The cookies are a thank you. You are thanking him for a thank you.
Weiss: I feel the least I could do is return him the favour.
Yang: And when's the last time you baked cookies?
Weiss: . . .
Weiss: I do not have the army of maids and cooks, so he will have to be content with store bought. If I purchase from the more reknown bakeries, he would have no cause to complain. . . . Would he?
Yang: That's not... You buy him cookies. He bakes you cookies. It's an endless cycle of cookies..
Ruby: *drooling while looking at the tin*
Weiss: I had not considered this.
Blake: I doubt Ruby's going to complain.
Weiss: Yes. *opens up the tin, offering some to Ruby*
Ruby: *grabs a few and Petal Bursts back to her bed*
Yang: What are you going to do next, give him a blowjob.
Weiss (glaring): Hardly.
Blake: You already bought him a sex slave. How many blowjobs does he need?
Yang: I am going to say at least one. Though, he's a healthy teen, he probably needs a lot more than that.
Weiss: I - AM - NOT - GOING - TO - GIVE - JAUNE - A - blowjob.
* * *
(inside JNPR's room)
Weiss: I - AM - NOT - GOING - TO - GIVE - JAUNE - A - blowjob.
Nora: So?..
Jaune: I am so not touching that.
Nora: You do have someone to touch it for you.
Ilia: *kneels in front of Jaune*
Jaune: *gives her a concerned looked*
Ilia: It was going to happen eventually.
Jaune: I mean...
Jaune: *looks at Pyrrha*
Jaune: A little help?
Pyrrha: We should give them some privacy.
_NPR: *walks towards the door*
Jaune: That's not what I mean.
_NPR: *steps out and closes the door*
Ilia: *unzips Jaune's fly*
Ilia: *reaches in*
Ilia: *looks up, giving him a surprised look*
Ilia: What, do you have rebar in here?
Jaune: That's, uh... That's...
Ilia: *let's go, looks pale, looks down*
Ilia: Maybe it would have been safer in the mines?
Jaune: I'm not asking you to choke on it.
Ilia: Talking to the prostitutes in Menagerie, with training I won't have to.
Jaune: *gives her a curious look*
Ilia (sarcastically): Why would an assassin talk to prostitutes?
Jaune: You're an assassin?!
Ilia: Well, considering I was caught and sold as a sex slave, I think I'm more of a former assassin. Just so we're clear, I have no idea what I'm doing.
Jaune: I was not expecting you to.
Ilia: But, this is literally my job, an I take my jobs seriously.
* * *
Nora: So?
Ilia: The flavour and texture is... unexpected. The musk was surprisingly enthralling. I might actually undestand why straight women might enjoy it.
Jaune: That's a little... TMI.
Pyrrha: *trying not to be jealous*
Nora: If you are going to talk about a man's dick.
Ren: Nora.
Nora: Penis, sorry, you have to make everyone else jealous.
Ilia: Of Jaune? Or maybe of me?
Nora: Talk about how big and powerful it is. About how small and humble it makes you.
Ilia: That would be a good way of describing it.
Jaune: Stop describing my dick.
Yang: I'm not complaining.
Weiss: *trying to not be judgemental*
Ruby: *eating a cookie*
Weiss: Thank you for your... thank... you... *breathes deep* Yes.
Blake: *gives Ilia a look, asking if she's alright*
Ilia: *gives Blake a look of pride at a job well done*

Same same anon,
Thank you for explaining!! I don't always understand the posts, and you're good at explaining things.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled spn/da, lol
You're welcome, and I'm sorry if I'm snippy about it. I'm soooo annoyed.
From the day the first ad turned up on the site, we begged and pleaded for Yahoo and Verizon to give us the option for paid accounts and badges and a merch store. And when Verizon decided to turn off the porn because it made it hard to sell to advertisers, we got louder about it. And Automattic comes along, rescues the site, and implements paid accounts, badges, and a merch store and post blazing, and suddenly they're villains. The exact same people who were begging for paid features are suddenly telling staff to fuck off.
The site HAS improved over the years. Sure, there have been some missteps. The post tipping really set people off, even though it's still around, and as far as I know, no one uses it even tho some blogs have it turned on. The tag search is a fucking joke unless you're on desktop and know how to adjust the search url to only get stuff tagged with what you're looking for. Pretty much nobody likes the Live feature.
But there used to be a time when we had to use complicated html in order to reply to replies! We used to need a browser extension to see tags people left on our posts. We have an instant message system now, instead of replying to each other through the old fanmail function. I hardly ever see people complaining about their asks getting eaten anymore. And Automattic seems open to finding ways for this site to make money other than selling our data, which I think is a MAJOR deal. So I pay for my ad-free, and I buy merch, and I'm going to buy a couple people some crabs on June 29th.
I love Tumblr, and I'm going to support it the same way I do AO3. By opening my wallet when it comes time to pay my share of the bills.

I told everyone in the sanctuary I would be back in three days.
I'm proud of the community I created and watched grow over the years. I provided everyone with a sense of safety from Silco's rein.
I loved everyone there. Jinx being there gave me an extra reason to stay.  But even I needed a break every now and then. Some 'me time' as Jinx puts it.
The sanctuary was my home away from home. I still lived in Benzo's shop. I grew up there and wouldn't dare abandon it.
I felt the familiar sense of her eyes watching me. I turned around to meet her gaze.
She was holding her arm behind her back as Scar grunted with effort; her frame was disappearing inch by inch behind the vault.
"Haven't you had enough of me?" I grinned crookedly.
Jinx rolled her eyes, chuckling while shaking her head.
Last night our clothes were strewn across my bedroom floor.
We panted softly, and she laid her head on top of my chest. She hummed in content, her magenta eyes glowed as she gazed at me with a sated smile.
She held my chin between her fingers and then proceeded to plant tender kisses across my face until her lips met mine.
Our lazy kiss steadily turned more heated and passionate. Our lust reignited and we had to have another round to extinguish it.
I flipped her over and pinned her hands above her head. She sunk her teeth into her lush, bottom lip then both moaned as we grinded against each other
I expected her to quip about how much of a self-absorbed asshole I was, she wanted me to get out, or that she 'hated' me.
Instead, she smiled at me. Her eyes softened and told me the three words she was too scared to tell me.
"Never." was the last thing she uttered before the vault closed completely.
I stood there for a good minute.
I understood why she hadn't said it. Yet my heart still ached for the words I've been longing to say.
"I love you too, Jinx," I murmured.
════
So,here I was. Sitting in a bar nursing my beer mug.
The place was small.
The jukebox was playing a vinyl with ukelele music. There were hardly any customers here but I wasn't complaining. The beer was cheap and decent.
I wondered what Vander's would taste like.
When I was a kid, sometimes me and Jinx used to pretend the juice Vander gave us was alcohol. We laughed when we pretended to get drunk and throw up.
For my twenty-first birthday, I imagined, Benzo, Vander, and my friends celebrating in The Last Drop.
The bar would be full of Vander and Benzo's friends to celebrate our birthdays. We were happy with what little gifts we were able to receive.
It's in four months. The Last Drop had been boarded up since Silco's death.
I would love to have Jinx and Vi with me to celebrate. I didn't care where. I just wanted us to be together but I knew it wasn't realistic.
The two people I love most couldn't even be in the same room together without being overwhelmed by the pain they inflicted on each other.
Especially since Vi's friend is with an Enforcer. After killing her mother, Caitlyn would want to be the first to capture her.
I snapped back to reality as the sound of giggling disrupted my thoughts. A couple was sitting near each other at the far end of the bar.
He had his arm around her shoulder and she had hers around his waist. They were both holding their beer mugs with their free hand.
He leaned in and whispered something in her ear that made her nearly spew her drink and cover her mouth.
"I should fuck you up. You're lucky you're so cute." they both laughed.
My lips twitched with a hint of a smile.
I knew what I was getting myself into when I allowed Jinx to stay. But I still got a little envious of couples I see on the streets.
If our lives had gone differently then that could have been us.
Life would be great.
I had a woman I knew loved me and would continue to love me when we turned old and gray.
Jinx had grown into the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen. I would be able to show everyone how lucky I was to have her around my arm.
I would ask Benzo for advice about dating and how to be a great boyfriend.
Vander has known me since I was little. There wouldn't be a need for me to be nervous about meeting her Dad for the first time.
He would trust me to have good intentions with his daughter and knew I would treat her with the love and respect she deserves.
Mylo, Claggor, and Vi would tease us about being love birds and how we should get it over with.
They would have bragged about how they were right to tease us about our denial of our crushes on each other.
People can freely galavant their love while I had to keep mine a secret. I had to tuck her away or else we both would be thrown in Stillwater.
I knew fully well that Jinx didn't have an ounce of remorse for killing those assholes and shattering their ivory tower.
The Enforcers would probably kill us first to take revenge on their beloved fallen comrades.
"They were good people." They would say.
Good people don't terrorize the people they're supposed to help.
Good people don't work with drug lords. They don't accept their money and let people from the Undercity die from shimmer or by their own hands.
We were good people.
But look what happened to my family. Our lives were irrevocably fucked over because of something I did
I thought we could have gotten a huge amount of money from my tip on Jayce Talis-The future golden boy of Piltover turned most hated council member.
We wouldn't have to go through another night worried about what we were going to eat or when we'd be able to.
No.
Instead, I brought Silco's attention to us. My actions became a butterfly effect of our lives being ruined.
It's my fault.
It's all my fucking fault.
The self-loathing and anger raged in me like a fire that was ready to combust. I doused the flames by chugging down half my beer.
I slammed my glass on the counter and panted heavily. I wiped the alcohol from my mouth and trail down my chin.
I signaled the bartender for a refill. She gave me a curt nod and filled my beer mug to the brim.
I was going to go home and pass out until the next morning.
I was going to feel good after a few more.
I was going to feel fucking great.

There was a dog found in the town I work in that was brought to the vet clinic. No owner claimed him. The shelter and vet clinic made a post asking someone to foster him because they can only hold him at the clinic's pound for 3 days or he would have to be pts and because they used the word "euthanize" in the post it got shared hundreds of times and tons of people commented saying the town and the vet clinic were horrible and disgusting for "killing" this dog and that they aren't giving him a fair chance and 3 days isn't enough (much the same things I got when I was animal control and trying to place unclaimed dogs).
People just don't understand how limited the resources are. There is just simply not unlimited money to save every single dog. And the vet clinic only has 3 holding kennels. They can't just keep every unclaimed dog that comes to them for an indefinite amount of time. The shelter is currently run solely on fosters and they can't seem to get more people to foster.
So many people so quick to complain, but yet they won't offer any actual help. They won't offer to foster, they won't donate to the shelter, they won't actually do anything other than complain and call the vet clinic evil. I'm so tired of this from people. I do not understand how they cannot grasp that the resources simply aren't there. Where do they think it all comes from? Do they think that money just magically appears in the shelter's bank account? That the vet clinic has acres and acres of space and a ton of staff to care for these unclaimed dogs?
I'm so angry. I'm so angry that people can't fucking understand that there are just more dogs (and other animals) in need of help than there is help. Yeah, sometimes animals have to be euthanized because there is nowhere for them to go. That's why I quit animal control. I spent HOURS on my birthday calling every shelter within 6 hours of me to take a dog. A dog whose owner I KNEW and she made no attempt to claim him because she knew she would have to pay the fines for him being at large. I agonized over this dog and scrambled to find somewhere for him to go. I didn't think I would, but miraculously someone agreed to take him. But then I'd have to do it again for the next dog. And the next. And I decided I couldn't do this every time I had an unclaimed dog. And in the process of messaging shelters I had one tell me I should give him a chance and hold him for longer. I'd already had him 2 days longer than I was supposed to and he was being held in a bathroom in the town's public works building because we didn't have an actual pound or holding facility. I did everything I could and I still almost had to have that dog euthanized. Hardly anyone was willing to help me. I was SO lucky to have found someone that ended up taking him and now he's been adopted and is in a loving home. But that couldn't have happened if nobody stepped up.
So instead of complaining, step up and help.

Billy Mine - Act 2.1
Leaving Ray of Hope Children's Home felt so…final. It's what I wanted, but I had a hard time adjusting to family life all the same. I mised Billy Mine. He was like a drug in my veins and I was going through withdrawals.
Tumblr media
My new parents, Patrick & Christina Ellis were wonderful. They were so patient and kind and loving. They are so much more than I deserved. Before I started high school, my father decided to throw his hat into the political ring. He went from local New York politics to becoming a US Senator. It made life more hectic. We were more in the spotlight. Of course being in the spotlight brings out a lot of lunatics as well. My father gets regular death threats that the Secret Service are aware of. Others are just threats from unhinged individuals.
A few days ago, I was attacked on my way home from work. Police think it was a potential kidnapping to use against my father. Luckily I was able to fend them off, but not without injury. I have stiches on my forehead, a black eye, a busted lip, bruised ribs & they dislocated my shoulder. Years of Muay Thai actually paid off. I don't think they were expecting me to fight back. I wasn't so helpless that they could have just plucked me off the street. I was causing too much of a scene and I'm sure some of them are in worst condition than I am. Bystanders came to my aide, and they took off. Mom & Dad were in NY not DC at the time, so when they found out, I got brought straight back to their place. Not that I complained too much, I felt like crap.
*****
"Baby, do you mind coming outside? There's someone I need you to meet. It'll only take a minute." Dad wraps an arm around me to help me out of my chair.
I couldn't hold back a groan. "I'm really not in the mood to see people," as he leads me out onto the terrace.
"I know, Jules. I swear, it'll just be a minute. I hired security for you and I want you to meet him."
"Daaaddd," I hiss and stop in my tracks but he keeps ushering me forward.
A man stands with his back to me looking out over the Manhattan skyline. Tall, broad shoulders, dark hair, bespoke suit…my skin breaks out in goose bumps.
Hearing our arrival, he turns around & greets my father, "Senator Ellis."
"Thank you so much for meeting here instead of the office." They shake hands. "My daughter, Jules."
He turns his attention to me & I'm lost in his obsidian gaze. There's only one other person who has eyes like that. I can hardly catch my breath. I feel faint and clutch my dad's arm tighter. "Billy Mine" I whisper. Billy's eyes widen with recognition before the darkness takes me.
******
"Sweetheart? Jules."
"Dad?" I open my eyes to find I'm still on the terrace, but on the chaise lounge not on the floor. Shit. Billy.
"You need me to take you back to the hospital? How do you feel?" Dad asked crouched down beside the chair.
"No. No. Don't do that. I'm ok." I look around. I couldn't have been hallucinating. Billy steps nearer. "Billy Russo."
Billy hands me a glass of water, "Here. Drink this."
"You two know each other?" I hear a protective tone in my dad's voice. Billy's eyes dart to mine.
"A..a long time ago. Ray of Hope. W...we were there."
Billy looked to be more in shock than I was. "Juliet."
"Bill owns the security company I've hired to watch over you, until the police or secret service find those men," reassuringly pats my leg. "Nothing like that will ever happen again."
Bill clears his throat, "We'd like to sit down and discuss your daily routine and schedule but we can arrange that for a better time," nodding at me & handing me his business card. I take it, careful not to touch him. "Please call my assistant to schedule something when you feel up to it."
He scans my face & injuries. His eyes are hard like the day he saw my bruises from Carla. Scary mad. "Of course. Thank you."
"Excellent. Thank you again for coming out here. I greatly appreciate it. Jules will set an appointment soon. She's still recovering."
"You're welcome, Senator. Completely understandable."
"Let me see you out."
"No, I can see myself out. Stay with your daughter." Turning to me, "It was good to see you again, Juliet, despite these circumstances."
I can only nod, my throat tightens with the sobs and cries I try to hold back. I haven't thought about him in over a decade but to watch him leave, I wanted to run after him. Have him take me with him.
"Jules?? What's wrong?" Dad brushes away tears that I didnt even know had fallen. "Are you in pain? I can get a doctor out here."
"No. I'm sorry." I start crying and my dad hugs me, "It suddenly feels overwhelming. But I'm ok. I promise." I lie to him. "Maybe if I just lay down for a minute." I kiss his cheek and squeeze his hand as he helps me return to my room.
I take some pain meds yet still sleep restlessly, tormented by dreams of Billy Mine.

Anyway, I'm obsessed the TLOU again...
read on ao3 (1.4k)
Joel can’t pinpoint the moment that Ellie became his kid. Maybe it was when she shot someone to defend him, maybe it was when she and Sam were playing in the bunker together, or maybe it was when she helped him bury the bodies. But it doesn’t really matter, all that matters is somewhere between there and here, Ellie became his. Not his charge or his cargo, his kid.
And that suddenly means that he can’t bear the thought of her in pain or the thought of her scared. He wants to shield her from everything, from all the horrors of this fucked up world. He wishes more than anything it didn’t have to weigh on her so heavily.
So he sticks a little closer to her, makes sure she knows that if anything is going to try to hurt her, that he’ll shut that down the second he can. But she’s been off since Kansas City, they both have been if he’s being honest.
But she’s hardly been talking and he hasn’t heard a single pun in days. And honestly, he’s starting to miss them.
When they find an abandoned store to make camp in, Ellie sets up her bed in the back office. Since they so rarely get privacy on the road, Joel sets his bed up on the other side of the door. She’s a teenager, surely she doesn’t want to be hanging around an old man all the time. He makes sure she eats dinner and changes the bandage on her hand before giving her some time to herself.
The door stays wide open though, not what he was expecting from a kid. Maybe it’s just another one of her quirks, Joel tells himself as he sits on the floor outside the room with a sigh and begins cleaning his guns, making sure they’re all in fit condition.
After an hour, Joel casts a glance to the boards that cover the glass doors and windows of the shop, the red beams of sunset have faded to darkness.
With a groan, he stands up, his knees popping. And he leans into the office, finding Ellie sitting under the desk, reading one of her comics by the light of her flashlight.
“Ellie?” When she looks up, he continues, “You should get some rest, we’re leavin’ at dawn in the morning.”
“Okay.” Ellie turns the page of her comic and keeps reading. Joel sighs, he remembers when Sarah used to do the exact same thing. Sometimes he hates how much Ellie reminds him of her.
If it weren’t for the bags under her eyes, he wouldn’t care how long she stays up. But he knows that since Sam and Henry, she hasn’t been sleeping much. He’s hoping the privacy of a closed door will allow her to rest at least a little, to allow her to feel safe with him guarding the door.
“Ellie.”
She rolls her eyes and looks up at him, her comic book open in her lap, “What?”
“Go to bed, I don’t want you complaining about being tired. We got a long day tomorrow.”
Ellie huffs, “Every day is a long day, it’s the fucking apocalypse.”
But mercifully, she doesn’t fight him anymore and tucks her book back in her bag. It doesn’t escape his notice that as she lays down in her makeshift bed, her hand curls under her pillow. He’d bet anything that she has a knife under there.
He wants to berate her, tell her that she shouldn’t sleep with a weapon in her bed. But he sleeps with his gun under his pillow, and a second one close at hand. So he just taps the wall and sighs, ducking back out of the room and closing the door behind him.
He lays down on the floor, using his backpack as a pillow. It’s not comfortable, but he’s used to that by now. If anything, it’s a treat to be on a cold floor instead of damp dirt or lumpy grass. He curls his hand around his gun, his thumb brushing the safety.
He’s just starting to drift off to sleep when he hears the door behind him creak open. Joel sits up, squinting in the darkness as a figure shuffles out, carefully walking over to him. He can see her figure, Ellie, her arms wrapped around herself.
Fearing that she’s sick, Joel sits up and drags a hand down his face, “Ellie? Everythin’ okay?” The girl doesn’t say anything as she sits down in front of him. “What’s goin’ on?”
“Can I ask you something?” Her voice is shaky, almost hesitant in a way she usually isn’t.
He frowns slightly, a few days ago would have told her to go back to sleep or ignored her. But she’s been quieter and more fragile since Henry and Sam and there’s no way he has the heart to say no to her. So he gets comfortable and says, “Shoot.”
Ellie picks at her shoelaces for a moment, clearly trying to collect her thoughts. Joel doesn’t rush her, he knows better than that. Sarah always needed some time to think about how she wanted to say things. God the two of them are so similar sometimes.
Eventually, Ellie swallows thickly and asks, “Why couldn’t I save him? Sam…Sam was just a kid and I-” She cuts herself off with a shuddering gasp as she fights off tears, the back of her hand to her mouth to muffle the sound.
“Hey, hey, look at me, sweetheart,” Joel says softly, not taking time to think about where the nickname came from. He moves forward, taking Ellie’s hand and pulling it away from her mouth. Ellie looks up at him with shining eyes and his heart breaks in two. “You’re just a kid too.” You're my kid, he wants to say, but he doesn’t. “You couldn’t have done anything to save him.”
Ellie shakes her head, tears starting to pour down her cheeks, “I-I…Tess and Riley and Sam and I-I couldn’t save any of them-” She sobs loudly, cutting herself off and Joel immediately pulls her into a tight hug and holds her to his chest. He doesn’t know who Riley is, but based on the other examples…he’s pretty certain about where they ended up.
He rocks her gently, “Shh, I’ve got you. I know it hurts, but it’s alright. You’re alright, you didn’t do nothin’ wrong.”
Ellie clings to him desperately, her fits balled into the back of his jacket and burying her head into shoulder. God, she’s so small, she fits in his arms just like Sarah did. Never had it been more apparent that she’s just a child, barely a teenager.
He closes his eyes, trying to fight back tears of his own as he slides Ellie into his lap to hold her better. He rubs her back, taking deep breaths and hoping that she’ll copy it. “Just breathe, baby girl.”
“Joel, I-I’m sorry,” Ellie murmurs.
“Nothing to be sorry for,” he assures her. “This was going to happen eventually. You’ve been through a lot since we left the QZ.”
Ellie nods into his shoulder, “Can I stay here? I don’t want to be alone.” And she follows it up with an even soft admission, “It’s dark.”
Joel swallows thickly, suddenly realizing why she hadn’t closed the door. “Of course. Whatever you need. I’m right here.”
He hugs her and rubs her back, murmuring words of comfort to her until she stops crying and lifts her head from his shoulder. She uses her sleeves to mop up the tears from her cheeks. “Thank you.”
Joel shakes his head and pushes her hair from her face. “No need for that. But I wasn’t lying about it bein’ a long day tomorrow, let’s get some sleep, alright?”
Ellie nods and starts to pull away, but Joel doesn’t let her. Instead he lays down in his makeshift bed, pulling her with him so that she’s tucked safely in his arms. Any doubts he had about that decision are immediately gone when she relaxes completely in his arms, allowing him to pull the blanket over her.
“I’ve got you, baby girl,” Joel tells her softly. “Just sleep, you’re going to be okay.”
He doesn’t know how long it takes for Ellie to fall asleep like this. Not long, by his count, but he stays awake for a while longer just in case. He waits for a nightmare or for another question or cry, but after a long time without one, Joel closes his eyes too. And with Ellie tucked safely in his arms he gets the best night sleep he has in a long, long time.
