STRAWBERRIES & CHOCOLATE
(+ hc Chifuyu from the UK, Baji from Mexico, Kazutora from Spain, Hanma from France and Madarame Shion being Masaway's biological son)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“ - Hurry up, you'll be late !
- Yes yes I do my best… ”
The golden-haired teenager rushed into the kitchen where his mother was sitting while wobbling and trying to put his uniform blazer over his shoulder.
“ - Mom ! I don't have enough money to buy my breakfast for today !
- Look in my wallet but kiss me before you go, brat.
- You are the coolest ! See you after school ! ”
In a hurry due to his big lateness, he ran directly after kissing her cheek towards the bag where the wallet was kept which had been mentioned earlier and took the lowest bill, being careful about the money of his mother.
Almost stumbling on his cat in front of the entrance door, he took advantage of this incident to cuddle him before going out in a rush to join his best friend who was already waiting for him for ten minutes at the downstairs of the building.
“ - Chifuyu ! We'll be late again because of you, and I'm sure we'll go to the bakery first, right ?
- Of course, but this time I even have enough to buy you candies ! So don't be grumpy. ”
His friend's expression brightened up and Chifuyu felt like he was dealing with an overexcited kid, as they were approaching high school years.
“ - Watch Takemichi ! Here we are. ”
The two young boys greeted the old lady at the counter who knew them well now.
“ - I will take a chocolate croissant today ! I will also want a sweets mix and as usual add the chocolate covered strawberries ! ”
Directly after stating his order, the old lady prepares it and asks him to pay as usual.
“ - Aren't you afraid that he'll understand that it's you ?
- No, shut up, you know that's impossible.
- Or that he doesn't even see the strawberries in his locker, how stupid he is !
- You're the stupid one ! ”
Takemichi was completely bisexual, he had a girlfriend, who was completely bisexual too.
She had a big crush on a girl at school, and he had a big crush on her brother.
But Chifuyu didn't care about his friend's affairs, he was too busy with his own.
When they arrive at the school, they are clearly too late.
Then, surprise : they see Baji Keisuke AKA Chifuyu's crush with Hanemiya Kazutora, his best friend.
These two were laughing like idiots in front of their lockers and suddenly, a silence when Baji opened his.
“ - ¿ No hay sorpresas hoy ? (No surprises today ?)
- Cállate, estoy seguro de que vendrá más tarde hoy (Shut up, I'm sure that will come later today)
- ¡ Oh, mira, hay dos niños atrás, parece que se equivocaron y tuvieron que ir a la escuela primaria jajaja ! (Oh, look, there's two kids in the back, they seem to have made a mistake and had to go to elementary school hahaha !)
- JAJAJA BASTARDO (HAHAHA BASTARD) ”
They stare at them for a long time and leave.
Chifuyu didn't even understand what they were saying but knew it was probably not good.
He was embarrassed and started to blush a lot.
“ - Your boyfriend is a real asshole !
- HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND ! ”
The two young guys are now heading to Italian class, and luckily for them, the teacher is lovely and lets them attend the class even with their huge lateness.
“ - You can write him a note in Spanish !
- Okay, that's all well and good, but do you know anyone who can help me write in Spanish ? Seriously, this idiot… ”
At the same time, the door opened on Mrs. Baji, a teacher.
“ - I'm sorry Masaway, but Keisuke forgot his lessons, he's so stupid I can't stand that kid.
- Ah, don't worry haha, Shion used to do the same to me, luckily Draken is not like that. ”
While everyone was laughing at the adults' stories, Takemichi stared at his friend, as if to say something.
“ - No, not even in a dream.
- She's the only one who could help you with those notes.
- I hate you. You and Baji. ”
×××××××××
After lunch time, which they spent laughing on the roof, the two little blondes headed to Mrs. Baji's sports class.
Everyone thought she was beautiful, like her son, they had the same personality, they were always pissed off in fact.
She is super nice and super strict at the same time.
In fact she expected her students to do some crazy stuff at seven in the morning.
At the end of the class, full of sweat, they go to talk with her discreetly.
“ - Excuse me, I need help with something in Spanish…
- Oh, you're hitting on me early, little boy !
- NO, NO, NO IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU MISS !
- Actually, he's tutoring and he needs help…
- Kids your age lie well now… Anyway, sit down and take a paper.
- Uh, on the grass like this ? Okay… ”
Chifuyu has never enjoyed learning the basics of another language more than Japanese and English, which are his native languages.
He now had his own little note, all decorated, all cute, which he had carefully prepared with Mrs. Baji, who is surprisingly sweet when she teaches something other than sports.
“ - I hope you get the meat you little rascal !
- Uh… ”
When they walk away and take their things back to the break area, Takemichi hits Chifuyu's shoulder quite hard.
“ - If she only knew…
- Shut up ! ”
The golden blonde was just as red as a tomato, and the flashy blonde was laughing at him.
“ - We should probably go put the strawberries and note in his locker anyway, right ?
- Yes ! We should benefit from it while he has class. ”
Chifuyu was running as if his life depended on it, while Takemichi was struggling to catch up with him.
“ - You're going to damage everything !
- But is it your crush or mine you moron ?! ”
×××××××××
“ - Deberíamos revisar tu casillero antes de ir a la biblioteca a revisar tus clases de literatura. (We should check your locker before we go to the library to review your literature classes.)
- Sip. (Yep.) ”
What they do directly.
“ - ¡ Hay una cosa más que los dulces ! (There's one more thing than sweets !)
- ¡ Sí, cálmate, espera ! (Yeah, calm down, wait !) ”
The long-haired man first takes the strawberries in his mouth before taking the note, priority to the food as he says well.
“ - ¡ Así que ! ¿ Qué dice ? (So ! What does it say ?)
- Está escrito en español. «Espero que te gusten mis dulces, xoxo» (It's written in Spanish. «I hope you like my sweets, xoxo»)
- AHH, ¡ SUPER HOMOSEXUAL ! (AHH, SUPER HOMOSEXUAL !)
- Tal vez sea una chica… Entonces no tienes que decir nada, eres como el menos hetero. (Maybe it's a girl… Then you have nothing to say, you're like, the least straight.)
- Te romperé el cuello. ¿ Y las fresas de chocolate con la notita con pegatinas de gatos ? Tan gay. (I'll break your neck. And the chocolate strawberries with the little note with the cat stickers ? Pretty damn gay.)
- Además, las pegatinas me resultan familiares… (Besides, the stickers look familiar…) ”
They start walking between all the lockers, Baji scanning them one by one, then stops in front of one, quite different from the others as it's filled with cat stickers, similar to the ones on the note.
“ - ¡ Llama a Shuji ! (Call Shuji !)
- Eres molesto, soy demasiado perezoso. (You're annoying, I'm too lazy.)
- ¡ LLÁMALO ! (CALL HIM !)
- Sí Jefe Cachondo… (Yes Horny Boss…) ”
The one with the haircut similar to bananas went to look for his probably boyfriend and came back rather quickly, since he runs every time he goes to look for him.
“ - What, enfoiré (bastard) ?
- Whose locker is that ? You know everyone, gilipollas (asshole).
- Yeah, Matsuno Chifuyu, in second year. ”
Hanma shows pictures to Kazutora on his phone using social media, and banana boy looks down on his shoulder like a Goal Couple.
“ - Ahhhh ! It's the idiot from this morning !
- Wait, the good looking one or the ugly one ?
- Don't be selfish, both are ugly ! That's the one with the beige sweater.
- Oh, the cute guy… Wait, stop kissing your boyfriend in front of me now, I'm going to puke.
- You're just jealous. ”
He gives a last hug as a sign of farewell to "Hanma Shuji" then returns to his friend.
“ - Well, go ! ”
×××××××××
“ - You always let me down when Hina is around, damn it !
- But, it's natural, we never see each other ! And you' re with your mangas so it's okay, right ?
- Fuck you ! ”
Now the manga fan was alone, on a table in the library.
He was super stressed, for no reason, but understood as he looked up.
Further away, Baji is standing.
And he approaches, letting go of Kazutora.
“ - Be discreet, be discreet… ”
The young man literally hides behind his mangas in a completely non-credible way.
Suddenly, he hears the chair in front of him move and raises the eyes to cross those of his prince charming.
“ - Can I settle in ?
- Uh, yes ! Sure ! ”
Chifuyu swore to himself that he'd take out a boxing ring on Takemichi as soon as he saw him again.
He didn't have to leave him alone, not now.
It was as if everything had been planned.
“ - I love chocolate strawberries, I didn't have them before, you know. And thanks for the effort of writing in Spanish, it's so cute ! ”
The dark-haired boy looked at him with a big smile as the blond hid even more, surely as red as earlier.
“ - Would you like to come home with me when I'm done studying ? We could get to know each other you know, you have a nice presence… ”
In Chifuyu's head it was similar to a party or a game on Among Us.
You could almost see smoke coming out of his ears and sweat running down his forehead.
“ - Of course ! ”
In the background, Kazutora could still be seen.
Baji stared at him and began to yell into the room so he could hear him.
“ - ¡ No te atrevas a decir nada ! (Don't you dare say anything !)
- ¡¡ NUESTRO KEISUKE YA NO VA A SER VIRGEN !! (OUR KEISUKE IS NOT GOING TO BE A VIRGIN ANYMORE !!!) ”
This put our blond in an even worse state, as red as… as red as strawberries.
You Weren’t Suppose to Know That
Carl Grimes x Reader
Summary- From the moment Carl showed up in Alexandria you’ve taken an interest in him. It took a mishap for you to express your feelings.
I rode down on the streets of Alexandria on my skateboard looking for my best friend Ron. He was having trouble at home lately and he would  always tell me about what was happening. My mom knew about what was happening yet she didn't do anything. That pissed me off. She's always talking about making Alexandria a better place and making it a safe place for everyone yet she won't intervene in Ron's situation because 'they'll work it out'. I found Ron looking at the gates. They were opening them so Aaron must be back.
"Hey, Ron." I said as I hoped of my skateboard and looked towards a group that they where letting in. "Any idea who these people are?" I asked.
"No idea. Aaron must have brought them back but I don't see him yet." Ron replied. Before I could think about anything more Spencer, my oldest brother, waved me over.
"This should be fun." I laughed and got back on my skateboard and rode over. I stopped in front of Spencer. "What's up."
"You know mom's gonna be pissed if she figures out you're still riding that thing." He laughed and I pointed at him.
"Mom doesn't need to find out."
"Oh really? What are you gonna do to stop me from telling her?" He asked.
"I'm gonna prank you for the rest of your life. Aiden will help me too. He's on my side of this battle."
"Yeah yeah sure." He turned to the new group "Well everyone this is my little sister, Y/N, she will be taking you to see our mom, Deanna. Once you get there she's going to ask you a few questions." I looked at Spencer.
"I didn't volunteer. It's my day off." I said.
"Well to bad." He shoved my shoulder and I shoved him back.
"Asshole." I laughed and turned to the group "Hope you guys can keep up." I said happily then got back on my skateboard and started towards our house where we hold the interviews.
"How long has this place been here." A deep voice asked. I turned my head to see an older man with a beard then turned back.
"Since the beginning. Most of the people here haven't seen what's outside the walls. I've seen it but my mom doesn't need to know that either." I laughed.
"You shouldn't sneak outside these walls. You're safe here." Someone else said.
"Okay listen up. I know you all just got here and you think you know everything but you don't. I go out just in case. If anyone or anything get's inside these walls then we're all screwed. No one in here can fight and most of them can't shoot guns. I go out there and practice killing those things because no one in here knows anything." It was silent for a while after that until a younger voice spoke up.
"What's your name?" I turned to see two people that where around my age so I'm not sure which one said it.
"Y/N." We where getting close to my house so I hopped off my skate board and hid it in front of Ron's house. He always lets me hide it there and he only lives a couple of houses down from me. I turned to the group and motioned for them to fallow me towards my house. Once we got there I stopped on the first couple of steps and turned around.
"Before we go in what are you're guy's names?" I asked.
"I'm Rick. Over there is Glenn, Maggie, Carol, Daryl, Eugene, Tara, Noah, Carl, who's holding Judith, Rosita, and Abraham." The man, Rick, said. I nodded and walked up the steps then walked inside.
"Mom we have a new group!" I yelled. My mom entered from the kitchen with my dad close behind.
"Oh well you all can make your way to the living room where you'll wait with my husband, Redge, and I'll call you all up one at a time." My mom said sweetly. "Y/N why don't you stay with your father. There seems to be some kids your age." She paused and looked around. "Who is the leader of your group?" She asked and Rick spoke up.
"That'd be me." My mother nodded.
"Well then, fallow me." He did as asked and they both walked upstairs while my father led everyone to the living room.
"Hey, dad?" I called and he walked over to me. "Do I really have to stay. I had some plans to hang out with Ron and Mickey." He sighed.
"Your mother just wants you to make more friends." I scoffed.
"What does she expect? The worlds gone to shit and she's worried about how many friends I have." I said with anger wrapping around my words.
"Watch your language. Why don't you wait for- what are their names again?" I rolled my eyes.
"Carl and Noah."
"Oh yes. Well why don't you wait for their interviews to be over with. Then you can go visit Ron and Mickey." He suggested.
"Or I could just leave them alone and let them adjust to this place." He sighed again.
"Fine but if your mother gets mad at you I have nothing to do with it." Then he walked towards the other group. I looked over and saw Carl looking at me. I blushed and ran out as fast as I could without attracting to much attention.
Once I reached Ron's house I knocked on the door and Jessie opened it.
"Hey, Y/N, come right in." She smiled and let me in.
"Thanks, Jessie. Ron and Mickey are upstairs right?" I asked. She nodded and I almost walked away but then she said,
"Enid's up there too." I turned around and looked at Jessie. She looked at me sadly. "You okay hun?" She asked and I nodded.
"It's just," I paused "today was one of those friends only things. I want to be supportive of him but I don't remember the last time we really hung out without Enid around." I sighed "Don't know why I thought today would be different." Then I walked upstairs and into Ron's room. Ron and Enid were on the bed with him laying in between her legs while facing the TV and playing video games, she was reading a comic that she rested on his head. Mickey was sitting on the floor at the end of the bed. Ron looked over at me then back to the TV.
"Hey, Y/N." He said then Enid snapped her head up and glared at me but I ignored her.
"Hey." I said quietly and then quickly ran past the TV so I didn't mess up there game. Then I sat in the beanbag chair that Ron kept in the corner. I leaned back and listened to their video games. Sooner or later I fell asleep.
I was woken up my something soft hitting me. I didn't pay attention to it at first but then it hit me again and I groaned but didn't open my eyes.
"Come on Y/N wake up. Carl came over." I heard Ron say.
"Ron, if you hit me with that pillow one more time I swear to God I'll kill you myself." I said and I heard him laugh. "Plus we've already met. Spencer had me take em' to my mom."
"Well can you be like a human for once and become functional?" Ron said. I opened my eyes and saw Carl standing in the door awkwardly. Ron was standing in front of me, pillow in hand. Enid was sitting on the bed reading a comic like she had been when I first fell asleep. Mickey probably left because of his mom, he never allowed him to stay for long.
"Happy? I'm functional. I'm awake." I said sarcastically. Ron nodded.
"Why don't we go show Carl around?" Ron asked. I got up from the bean bag chair and smiled.
"Sure, beats staying inside all day." I said.
"I don't feel like it." Enid said and we all looked at her.
"Well, Miss Bitchey, if you don't want to come you don't have to." I glared at her and she looked up from her comic and glared back.
"Maybe you'd stop calling me a bitch then I'd actually want to go." She stood up and walking in front of Ron so that she was between us.
"Maybe if you weren't a bitch then I wouldn't have to call you one." I snapped back. Then Ron put a hand on Enid's shoulder and pushed her back.
"Can you guys not fight for five minuets. It gets old. I don't get why you both hate each other." Ron said calmly and my face softened.
"We don't fight that much." I said.
"More then you realize." Ron said sadly and then everyone was quiet for a few minuets.
"Alright lets just show Carl around." Then I walked out not even paying attention to weather or not they were fallowing me. It killed me that I had made Ron sad. He's been my best friend ever since the world went to shit. I've helped him through a lot and he as helped me just as much. I always tried to except Enid but she made it difficult. She never left Ron alone and if she did it was never for long. I just missed spending time with my best friend.
I walked down the steps and into the kitchen but didn't hear any footsteps fallowing me. I'm not sure if I want them to fallow me or not. It would be nice to have them fallow me and have some people to talk to but on the other hand I also want to be alone. I continued walking towards the door but Jessie stopped me.
"Y/N? Hey are you alright?" She asked. I looked at her, she was sitting on the couch with Sam. I just nodded and walked out and down the street not even paying attention to where I was going.
I walked downstairs when people started to really show up. A lot of the town was already inside. I hoped that Ron wouldn't show up. I hadn't talked to him since the whole incident with Enid. I was still upset that I hadn't realized Enid and me fought that much. Ron was already dealing with enough fighting in his house with him family, he didn't need to see it with him friends too.
I walked over to the couch that didn't have anybody on it. People normally stood up and talked to one another. I just sat there and twiddled my thumbs. People from the new group started to show up and some of them looked uncomfortable. I wouldn't blame them for a town that takes place in the apocalypse these people sure are preppy. I felt someone sit beside me and I looked up to see Maggie holding Judith.
"Are you okay?" She asked and I sighed.
"Honestly no. I've been ignoring my best friend." I looked back down.
"Why?" She asked.
"Well I don't exactly get along with his girlfriend and I guess I just didn't realize how much we fought. He's just upset and I don't really know what to do."
"Maybe you should just go talk to him. Figure it all out together." She suggested. I laughed.
"His girlfriend just hates it when I talk to him. How am I suppose to make everything between us okay if she hates me for just speaking to him?" I asked.
"Well, sounds to me like she isn't a very good girlfriend if she's pushing her boyfriends best friend away from him." She said and I nodded.
"I'm gonna go get some fresh air. Thanks, Maggie." I said, she nodded and I walked outside and sat on the front steps. I sat there for a while trying to figure out what I would say to Ron when I saw movement beside me. I looked up and saw Carl sitting down next to me.
"Hey, Carl." I said and looked down at my feet.
"Have you talked to Ron lately?" He asked. I shook my head no. "You should." He said.
"Why? It's not like I'll really be able to change anything." I sighed.
"You know it kills him to not talk to you right. He's always going on and on about what he should do to fix everything."
"He doesn't need to do anything. It's just between Enid and me." I said.
"Why do you guys hate each other so much?" He asked.
"She doesn't like me because she thinks that I'll take Ron from her. Which is ironic because she ended up taking him away from me." I said sadly.
"He's still there you know that right?" He asked and I looked up at him.
"You don't get it do you?" I asked. "Ron is and has always been my best friend ever since the world ended. Then all of a sudden this girl comes and he starts to like her and she starts to like him. One day you hang out with your best friend all day everyday. Then sooner or later you just start hanging out with him and his girlfriend who hates you. I never talked to him about Enid because I care about him. If she makes him happy then I'm happy for him. I didn't think that we fought that much but apparently we fight a lot more then I had hoped." Tears started to slowly fall down my face.
"You don't like Ron do you?" He asked softly and I laughed.
"No." I paused "He's just- he's always been there. There are just some things that I can't talk to my family about and he is just always there."
"Can you promise me something?" He asked and I nodded. "If you go and try to clear things up with Ron then I'll be there for you weather you clear them up or not. Then you'll have someone no matter what." I laughed and pulled him in for a hug that I don't think he was expecting but he hugged back.
"Thank you." I whispered in his ear.
One Month Later
I had cleared things up with Ron finally. We were both happy again and I had also became close friends with Carl which I was happy about. He also kept him promise. When Ron couldn't be there Carl was. He made me happy and I think I've developed a crush on him.
I was on my way to Ron’s house so that we could hang out. He had been really good at making time just for us. I reached the door and knocked just like I always did except no one answered. I knocked again but still no one answered. Then I heard glass brake from inside the house. I didn't waste any time on opening the door and rushing inside. Pete and Jessie where in the kitchen and there was broken glass on the kitchen floor. Ron came running downstairs and when he saw me his eyes widened. We both turned our attention back onto Pete and Jessie. Pete started punching Jessie so I ran over and tried to get her away from him but he pushed me back and I hit my head off the kitchen counter and when I landed my hands got cut on the glass that was scattered across the floor.
"Y/N!" I heard Ron yell. He rushed over to my side but it was difficult to focus on anything. I felt my forehead but instantly pulled my hand back because of the pain from touching it.
"Ron take Y/N upstairs!" Jessie yelled. I felt myself being picked up. I looked up and saw Ron looking at me, concern covered his face. He ran up the stairs but I wasn't sure which room he ran into until he said,
"Sam open the door." I heard Sam’s closet door open then Ron got into the closet, sat down so that I was in his lap, and had Sam close and lock the door. Ron held my head and upper body with one arm and the other rested on my side.
"Is she okay?" Sam asked, he sounded scared.
"I don't know." Ron cried. "Hey. Hey, Y/N, can you talk to me?" He asked.
"E-everything is s-spinning." I said weakly. Ron let out a breath of relief.
"O-okay. What else?" He asked.
"My h-head hurts like a-a bitch." He laughed.
"Okay, it's okay. We can leave soon." He said.
"R-on?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"I'm tired." I breathed out and started to close and eyes.
"No, no you have to stay awake. Can you do that. Let my see your eyes." He pleaded. I nodded weakly. "How about you tell me about something you love? Yeah, tell me about something you love." He said. I tired thinking but it was getting more and more difficult.
"I-I don't k-know." I said.
"Oh come on. What about a person?" He asked. I nodded. "Can you tell me about them?" I nodded again.
"Y-you won't get ups-set?" I asked.
"I promise. I won't get mad just tell me about them." I didn't talk for a couple minuets so Ron spoke up again "Can I guess and you nod?" He asked and I nodded in response. "Okay, is it Mickey?" I smiled weakly and shook my head no. "Is it someone our age?" I nodded. He didn't talk for another couple minuets. "I-Is it Carl?" I shook my head yes and smiled a lot wider. "Okay, that's good. You're gonna stay awake so you can see him again. He seems like a great guy." I nodded again.
"Ron, she's gonna be okay right?" Sam asked.
"I hope so buddy. We just have to keep her thinking and communicating." Ron said. Then we all heard a lot of glass breaking from downstairs then Sam’s door swung open.
"Sam, Ron are you guys okay?" It was Jessie.
"Yeah mom we're okay but I don't think Y/N is." Ron said.
"Okay open the door." She said softly and Sam unlocked the door and opened it. Jessie was kneeling in front of the door and it looked like there where bruises all over her arms.
"Oh god. Okay bring her over to the bed." Jessie said with a worried tone then she rushed out of the room. Ron ran over to Sams bed and carefully placed me down. Before long we heard yelling from outside. Sam rushed to the window to look outside.
"It's Dad!" He yelled and then Ron rushed over to see as well.
"Oh god, Ricks beating the shit out of him." Ron said.
"Rick stop!" Multiple people yelled. "Put the gun down!" We heard someone yell then it all just stopped. People stopped screaming at Rick. Ron turned to me and sat beside me on the bed. I looked at him.
"We need to do something." Ron said. "We can't have Dad help you and I don't know who else could." Then Jessie ran back in with bandages. "Mom we need to do something about her head." Ron said.
"I know, I know." Jessie said. Then they started to clean up my hands and wrap them.
"What if we ask Deanna?" Sam suggested. Jessie looked up at him.
"Sam you're a genius. Ron you look after her and keep her awake. I'll go get Deanna and see if she knows anything about anyone." It seemed like forever until Mom walked in with someone behind her.
"Oh my god." She whispered and rushed over next to Ron. "Denise what should we do?" She asked.
"Umm we should get her to the infirmary but Pete never lets me in." The lady, Denise, said.
"I'll let you in. I have to get Redge." She whispered the last part.
"Okay umm what's your name?" Denise asked Ron.
"Ron. I'm her friend." He said.
"Okay, Ron, you need to help us get her the infirmary." He nodded.
"I'm tired." I whispered. Mom looked at me and held my hand gently.
"I know baby but you gotta stay awake." I noticed that she had tears streaming down her face.
"Okay we have to go now." Denise said. Ron picked me up just like he had done before and fallowed Denise down the street. All of us where running, well obviously not me.
"Y/N?" I heard someone yell. "What happened?" They yelled again.
"We'll tell you when we get there!" Ron yelled. We reached the infirmary and Denise started to order people around. I couldn't pay attention to anything. I was still in Ron’s arms but I passed out.
Carl’s P.O.V.
I was walking down the street shortly after my dad had beaten up Pete. Michonne had knocked him out so he didn't continue to do anything stupid. I looked up at the sky and watched the clouds pass the sun but then my attention was brought to the street when I heard multiple people running down the street. I saw Denise, Deanne, Jessie, Sam, and Ron running towards the infirmary. Ron was holding someone. Y/N? Oh god what happened?
"Y/N?" I yelled and they looked over at me but kept running. "What happened?" I yelled as I ran towards them.
"We'll tell you when we get there!" Ron yelled.
We reached the infirmary and luckily Pete wasn't there. Denise started to give orders out to people to get IV's and bandages. Y/N had passed out while Ron was still holding her.
"Don't just stand there get her on the bed!" Denise yelled. Ron rushed over and put her on the bed.
"Okay I need you kids to stay out on the porch. If we need help I'll come get you." Jessie assured and Sam, Ron, and I walked out on the porch and sat down on the steps.
"What happened?" I choked out. I looked over at Ron who was looking at his hands that had a small amount of blood on them. "What happened?" I asked again.
"My dad happened. She was early. She wasn't suppose to come over for another half hour. If I thought this was gonna happen I would have canceled. This is all my fault." He put his head in his hands.
"No, man, it's not your fault. Can you just- can you tell me what happened?" I asked again. He took his head out of his hands and nodded.
"My dad was fighting with my mom again. I had gotten Sam in the closet like I'm suppose to but then I heard glass break from downstairs. I went down to see what happened and there was glass all over the kitchen. Y/N was in the living room and we looked at each other but we didn't do anything. Then my dad started to punch my mom and Y/N tried to get in between. I didn't have time to stop her. I know what happens when you try and get in between. Agh if I had just been faster then this wouldn't be happening, but ahh anyways, my dad he pushed Y/N out of the way and she hit her head on the countertop. Hard too. When she landed she cut her hands on the glass. My mom yelled for me to take her upstairs with Sam. We all hid in the closet until it stopped. Sam and me kept her talking," he paused "nodding at least." We didn't talk for the next couple of minuets until I said,
"It's not your fault. If anything I think you helped her." He looked over at me.
"You know she likes you Carl. She doesn't talk about you a lot but that's probably because she thought I'd be upset." He said and I blushed.
"H-how— did she tell you that?" I asked and he laughed.
"I was trying to get her to talk about something she loved. She couldn't really strike up a conversation because of her head but ahh," he laughed "I asked her if we could talk about someone she loved. I started thinking about people besides her family because it would probably get her to think more. Then I asked if it was Mickey. She laughed and shook her head. Then I asked if it was someone our age you know just to see." We both laughed at that. "She nodded and it took me a couple minuets but then I guessed you. You should have seen her smile, man. Then I told her that she needed to stay awake so that she could see you again." I looked down at the ground and smiled so wide. She liked me. I couldn't believe it.
"I can't believe it." I whispered. Ron laughed.
"I'm guessing you like her back?" He asked.
"You could say that" I smiled.
"Just remember if you hurt her I'll kick your ass." He laughed and I laughed along.
"Yeah you'll have to deal with me too." Sam said. I had almost forgotten he was here.
"I don't think you guys have anything to worry about." I said and they both smiled at me. We all sat there for a while before Jessie walked back outside. We all stood up. Jessie laughed.
"She's gonna be fine. She's up now but really groggy." She moved away from the door and we all ran in. Ron and I were on either side of her and Sam was next to Ron.
"Hey, guys." Y/N whispered. She sounded like she was on drugs. I laughed and looked over to Denise.
"Is she on drugs?" I asked and Denise laughed.
"She's on strong painkillers. Really strong painkillers." I looked back at Y/N who was looking up at the ceiling in confusion.
"What are you even looking at?" Ron asked. She furrowed her eyebrows.
"I don't know." She said. We all started laughing.
"Oh yeah strong painkillers." I laughed. She looked over at me.
"Where am I?" She asked then looked over at Ron and Sam.
"You're in the infirmary." Ron said sadly then he scratched the back of his neck.
"Do you remember how you got here?" Denise asked from across the room. Y/N furrowed her eyebrows and looked as if she was thinking.
"I remember going over to Ron's house and then I went to get in between Pete and Jessie. Then I remember sitting in a closet with Ron and Sam." Y/N said.
"Do you remember anything else?" Ron asked. He looked over at me and smirked.
"Well- uh- you were trying to get me to keep talking." She replied. Ron nodded.
"Do you remember what we talked about?" He asked and smirked at both Y/N and me, his eyes shifting between us.
"Why are you asking me so many questions?" Y/N sighed out of frustration. Ron held his hands up and laughed.
"H-hey can I talk to Y/N alone?" I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Sure thing." Ron said "See you later Y/N. I'm sure Sam and I'll visit tomorrow."
"See ya Y/N!" Sam exclaimed and waved to her as him and Ron walked out the door.
"Make sure you don't keep her up to long okay, Carl?" Denise said. I laughed and nodded. She smiled then walked outside. Once she left Y/N started laughing and I looked at her confused.
"What?" I laughed. She continued to laugh before she said,
"Your face is red." Then she continued laughing. This only made my face heat up more.
"Y/N, can I tell you something?" I asked as she was still laughing. It took a while to get her to stop laughing but once I did I asked her again and she nodded. I noticed that she looked really tired.
"Ron told me about what you said while he was trying to keep you awake." She looked at me weird. I had forgotten that she couldn't remember what she had said. "Y-you basically- well sort of told him that you were in love with me." I looked at her, she seemed sad, and she looked down.
"No one was suppose to know about that." She whispered but I could hear here due to the quietness though out the room. Then I saw tears drip down her face and onto her lap. I quickly sat on the side of the bed and rested my hand on her knee.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"You weren't suppose to find out and on top of that I'm all drugged up and tired and I just- I just-" she cut herself off with sobs. I quickly wrapped my arms around her surprisingly enough she didn't pull back, instead she wrapped her arms around me as well.
"It's fine. It's fine. I'm glad that I found out." I said. She pulled away and looked at me but she was still crying.
"Why?" She asked. I raised my hands and wiped the tears off her face even though more appeared anyways.
"B-because I uh- well" I paused and took a deep breath. "I love you too." She shook her head and I looked at her confused.
"You're just saying that to make me feel better." She cried.
"If I was just saying that to make you feel better then would I do this?" Then I connected our lips. Thousands of fireworks went off the moment we touched. In the middle of the kiss she started to smile then eventually started to laugh causing me to do so as well. "What?" I asked laughing as we pulled apart.
"I'm just really happy. Also my mind is everywhere. I'm not sure what Denise gave me but it sure does work." She laughed. I looked at the clock that hung on the wall. It was about 8:00PM and I should probably get Y/N to sleep.
"You should probably get some sleep before Denise cuts my head off." I smiled. She nodded and laid down on the hospital bed. I leaned down and kissed her forehead before starting towards the door.
"Wait." Y/N said softly. I turned back around.
"Can you stay here?" She sounded a little embarrassed and her cheeks turned bright red. I laughed but nodded and walked over to her. She moved over so that I had room to lie down. I wrapped my arms around her shoulders while she snuggled into my side.
"I love you, Carl." She whispered.
"I love you too, Y/N." I whispered back then we both peacefully fell asleep.
Cupcake
Rikiel was nervously waiting outside of the bathroom, his girlfriend (Y/n) was inside the bathroom taking a pregnancy test. (Y/n) had been pretty sick for a few days, she had at first thought it was a stomach virus, but it had lasted a lot longer than any regular stomach virus. So she had gotten concerned. Rikiel had went down to the local pharmacy and brought a pregnancy test. (Y/n) kept on insisting that there was no way that she was pregnant because they had always used protection and she was on the pill. Rikiel didn't dare tell her that he had switched her birth control pills with sugar pills and had secretly put holes into the condoms that she had always insisted that they use when they made love. Rikiel had been terrified that she would leave him for someone else when she realized how worthless he was, so he contacted his father and brothers and asked them for advice. His father DIO Brando had said "Rikiel she can't leave you, if she has your baby growing inside of her womb." Rikiel repilied "But Father she insists that we use protection. And she will get suspicious and leave me if I start asking that we stop using protection when we make love." Then his older jerkass brother Donatello interjected and half said half yelled but all annoyed "So just poke holes into the condoms, then she won't suspect a thing." Rikiel reminded him "But she's also on birth control pills." So Ungalo the brother who was closest in age to Rikiel irritated told him "Switch her birth control pills out with sugar pills. I am sure that dad knows someone who can help you with that." Giorno his oldest brother who haven't said yet, asked seriously "Rikiel are you sure you want to go through with this? There is no way you can come back from this." Rikiel merely repiled "Giorno this is for the best. (Y/n) means the world to me. I can't even risk the chance of someone stealing her from me." Giorno just sighed and looked at Rikiel sadly and hugged him then left the room. So together with his father, Donatello and Ungalo they arranged for (Y/n) to see a new doctor and pharmacist who both worked for his father and gave her the sugar pills calling them a new version of birth control pills. (Y/n) was blissfully unaware of what he had done. Rikiel had at first felt guilty about what he was doing but his father and Ungalo and Donatello had constantly reminded him that if he didn't do this then she would definitely leave him for someone else and that he had been following (Yn)/ for months and had a shrine in his secret room deciated to her before he gained the courage to ask her out on a date which to his surpise she had said yes, he had been worried for a few weeks that she had only said yes for some alternative reason but that was dimisled quickly when she had defended him from these asshole who had been following them while they were on a date. Rikiel practically whorpised the ground that she walked and would sometimes sneak into her house late at night and take pictures of his beautiful (Y/n) sleeping. She always looked so beautiful never mind what she was wearing but somehow her beauty was amphired while she was sleeping. Giorno had tried to give him advice about Rikiel's and (Y/n)'s relationship but Rikiel would always second guess himself and just turn to his father for advice. His father seemed proud that Rikiel had found someone special so Rikiel always followed his father's advice which made his father even more proud of him. Rikiel had been nervous about her finding out what he and most of his family had did, so his father DIO had installed a security system in Rikiel's new house which he had yet to use and that (Y/n) was unaware of. Rikiel was pulled out of his thoughts by the sounds of the bathroom door opening, he looked at his beautiful (Y/n) who was shaking, the pregnancy test in her left hand. She wasn't speaking or looking at him, her head was down, her gorgeous lovely (h/c), (h/\l), (h/s), she was wearing her cutr bunny pyjamas and he can't see her adorable (e/c) eyes. "Cupcake is everything alright? Whats wrong?" Rikiel asked worriedly stepping closer to his loveable (Y/n). She without lifting her head, just wordlessly handed him the test. Rikiel anxiously took the test from her and looked at the results with a racing heart. It was positive, Rikiel triple checked the test and pinched himself, the result was still positive and he wasn't dreaming. His girlfriend, his amazing and wonderful (Y/n) was pregnant with his baby. Rikiel felt a sense of pride growing through his body at this thought it felt nice. "Rikiel what are we going to do?" Asked (Y/n) her voice shaking with worry and fear. Rikiel was taken aback by her response and questioned her "What do you mean by that (Y/n)?" (Y/n) lifted her head up and looked at him confused. "Rikiel I am pregnant, I am still in collage and we have only been together for one and half years. We aren't ready for a kid. Etheir I get an abortion or we put the baby up for adoption. Listen I still love you and I would love to have kids with you. But right now we aren't ready. Rikiel honey is everything okay?" Rikiel instantly started freaking out and grabbed (Y/n) by her arm and dragged her to their room, he paid no mind to her struggling and throw her onto the bed stomach up. He blurted out "NO. You aren't getting an abortion. How could you even say something like that? How can you even think of something like that? Thats our baby growing inside of you. Our helpless precious baby." Rikiel paced around the room, his entire body shaking with anger, he could feel tears filling up his eyes, then he heard shuffling. Rikiel looked over at (Y/n) who had stood up from the bed and was looking at him with concern and worry. "Rikiel calm down please. You are starting to scare me. I was just telling you our opinions. I am not going to go behind your back and get an abortion okay? We can just look into adoption options is that okay?" She stated while standing close to the door. Rikiel felt rage spreading throughout his entire being at her words and the thought of some random strangers taking their baby and rasing their baby and never knowing who their real parents are. He briskly and quickly walked over to (Y/n). "Cupcake I don't know you understand. You aren't going to give up OUR baby to a bunch of strangers etheir. This is our baby and we are going to keep and raise our baby and we will make siblings for our baby and be one big happy family." Rikiel growled out. (Y/n) looked at him confused but then something seem to click in her mind cause she was looking at him with shock and horror. "Rikiel did you plan this? Did you mess with my birth control pills? Did you mess with the condoms? Is that why you wanted to have sex more cause you wanted to get me pregnant?" At first she was whispering but her voice was slowly rasing as she spoke, then once she was done (Y/n) slapped Rikiel across the face hard enough that he nearly fall down to the ground. Rikiel was shocked that his Cupcake, his kind, gentle and caring girlfriend had actually slapped him. He was so shock and stunned that at first he didn't notice (Y/n) getting quickly dressed and grabbing a suitcase that she had begun to pack. When he did notice, she was angrily throwing all of her clothes and her personal stuff. Rikiel was angry that she had slapped him and was planning on leaving him but didn't want to risk hurting their baby. So he just left the room, making sure to lock the door. (Y/n) didn't seem to notice that he had locked the door, she was probably too busy with her packing so she didn't pay attention to him. Eventually she would notice which made Rikiel glad that he taken Donatello's advice about removing everything that she could use to hurt herself with and installing a lock onto the window and replacing all of the regular glass with bulletproof glass in the Windows and picture frames. Donatello may be a jerkass but he did give good advice. Rikiel went downstairs and walked into his office that was hidden in the library and actived the security system. Then he went into the kitchen and started making one of (Y/n)'s favorite meal for her to eat when she had calmed down. While he was making the meal, he could hear knocking and screaming from upstairs but choose to pay it no mind. After all (Y/n) had brought this onto herself by acting like a spoilt brat. She would understand that what he was doing was for the best of their relationship and the best for her. She was just being emotional right now. They were meant to be together forever. (Nine months later) Rikiel was inside of the birthing suite of the hospital, that his father owned. Most of the hospital staff were told that (Y/n) suffered from a disorder that made her say things that were untrue and completely fabricated. Some of the more smarter staff had been told what was really going on and had been paid handsomely to not pay any mind to what (Y/n) said but to make sure she didn't try to take the baby and run. Rikiel still can't understand why (Y/n) would want to leave him becasue he had been treating her like a Queen and she had been acting so sweet and good but his father had told that she might be putting on a act to trick Rikiel. Rikiel hadn't wanted to believe his father but his father and Donatello and Ungalo had been right so far about the advice he had been given so he was inclined to believe them. Giorno, Ungalo and their father were in the waiting room. Donatello had a modeling gig so he wasn't able to make it but had told them to call him when the baby was born so he can visit 'the little rugrat' as soon as he could. (Y/n) was screaming at everyone even Rikiel himself saying horrible stuff but he was told that it was normal for a woman to act this way when she was in labor. She finally pushed out a beautiful and adorable baby girl. Who immediately started crying and wailing. The doctors cleaned her off and tried to hand her to (Y/n) who didn't want to hold her, so they instead gave the baby to Rikiel was taken aback by how much he loved his baby girl, not as much as he loved his Cupcake but still he knew that he wanted to protect her from everything that could possibly hurt her. He was very reluctant about giving her to the nurses so that they could make sure that everything was okay with the baby that she was healthy. (Y/n) was also checked over and then taken to a room with Rikiel by her side. "Cupcake what do you think we should name our beautiful and adorable little baby girll?" Rikiel asked happily not even paying any attention to her glaring. She was just sore and hurt from giving birth to their beautiful and adorable baby girl. "Zoë I want to call her Zoë." She whispered, she was clearly exchuasted by the labor and birth of their little precious baby. "Zoë? It's the perfect name. But she needs a middle name. How about Zoë Jennifer Brando?" Rikiel excitedly repilied with a huge and bright smile on his face. (Y/n)'s eyes widened upon hearing his eyes and she looked ready to bolt from the room which made Rikiel that his father had instructed the hospital security to keep a close eye on (Y/n). "Oh Cupcake I spolied the surprise. You see my father pulled some strings and well we are now officially married." Rikiel went through his bag and pulled up a marrige certificate that had Rikiel Brando And (Y/n) (l/n) written on it with a perfect forge of (Y/n)'s handwritten. "You are now Mrs Brando. Isn't that just fantastic?" Rikiel sighed happily at the thought of spending the rest of his life married to his Cupcake. Suddenly a nurse came in, holding little adorable baby Zoë. Rikiel could feeling his smile get bigger at the sight of baby Zoë. "Is mommy ready to hold the baby?" The nurse asked. Rikiel looked at (Y/n) expectly who just nodded her head and sat up and held out her arms to take baby Zoë. The nurse came over and handed the baby over to (Y/n) who quickly and eagerly took little baby Zoë from her. "Oh yes Rikiel your father and your brothers are ready to see the baby. Should we allow them in?" The nurse questioned Rikiel completely igroning (Y/n). (Y/n) had started trying to breast feed baby Zoë. She soon got a hang of it as he could faint hear Zoë nursing. Rikiel smiled softly at this. "Yes that's fine. Also we have decided to call the baby Zoë Jennifer." "I will make sure to put that on the birth certificate Rikiel." The nurse left the room. Rikiel made several attempts to talk to (Y/n) but she refused to talk to him and just kept her entire attention on Zoë and just kept on whispering in her ears about stuff he can't hear. A few minutes later, his father and brothers entered the room. (Y/n) stiffed upon seeing them enter the room and tightened her grip on baby Zoë. His father was holding a few baby toys and clothes. Ungalo had a book that he had written for Zoë. Giorno had a blanket and flowers and candy. Donatello just had a teddy bear. "Awww is that my granddaughter? What's her name Rikiel?" His father asked Rikiel while he approaching the bed and (Y/n) who glared at him. "Father stop messing around. It's Zoë Jennifer Brando. Isn't that just the most perfect name for her?" His father held out his arms to take baby Zoë. Zoë temporarily stopped breast feeding to look at him which his father pounched on to take Zoë and (Y/n) tried to hold on to Zoë but let go when Ungalo and Donatello whisted at the sight of her breast which caused her to cover up her breast. "DIO GIVE ME BACK MY BABY!" She yelled when his father walked away from the bed and over to his brothers, who all doted over baby Zoë even Donatello. Giorno looked uncomfortable but smiled at baby Zoë. Rikiel had no idea why Giorno was uncomfortable maybe it was because of Donatello's and Ungalo's whistling. Rikiel knew that he was angry at them for whistling at his Cupcake. (Y/n) continued to yell and scream until she seemed to realzied something because she just started crying to herself. Rikiel cuddled with her to comfort her. Oh how he loved his Cupcake. He would and have killed for her. Nothing can take her away from him. Nothing.
Teen!Daughter x dad!Tom holland
Warnings: none. Fluff
Word Count: 3.6k
---
Being the only girl in a family full of men, meant no boys. Morgan Holland, was Tom's 16 year old daughter and evidently the spitting image of him. If he was genderbent, that's how Morgan looked like, with her mother's green eyes. Speaking of, her mother dropped Morgan off at Tom doorstep, and he knew that he was obligated to take of his child since she fled. He knew adoption was not an option, he also knew the press would have various articles about it so he decided against it. Morgan knew the rules for when it came to boys and relationships. It was forbidden. Or for the most part forbidden till you were thirty, according to her dad.
Her uncle, always supported her and her choices. Harrison was her godfather and her favorite uncle, mainly because she saw him like everyday or so. He was like her second dad. At one point when she was smaller, she called him daddy because that's how they're relationship ended up turning into. She was his practice baby. Harrison always told her what to do when it came to boys. Being the only girl in the family it was nice to know somebody supported her having a boyfriend. When she was 14, she told him about her first kiss, and he was like genuinely happy for her because she was growing up. Now her being 16, she was testing new waters; Dating.
Yes in the past people told her they liked her but that was either because they wanted to meet her dad or because it was a dare. It was sad that people only liked her for those reasons but children are fucking assholes.
She walked home from school, humming to her favorite songs. She climbed the stairs to the apartment where she and her dad lived. She unlocked the door and was met with an empty apartment. “Father o father, for where are thou?” She said dramatically. She walked to the kitchen where she saw a note on the fridge.
Morgan,
Come to Grandma's house. Got a surprise for you.
Dad.
She groaned knowing she'd have to walk to get to her Grandma's house. On her walk, she thought about her grandparents, then she remembered her grandparents were on a couple retreat someplace nice, away from their home. She also remembered her three uncles were on a vacation in Thailand. Leaving her, her dad, and her uncle haz.
She opened the door and recycled her previous quote, “father o father, for where are thou,” she said loudly. She heard chatter and thought it was just uncle haz. She walked to the living room and as she pulled her earphone out of one ear she saw her uncles all sitting there. She was awestruck, given that she hadn't seen them in weeks. She gave them each a hug and sat down next to her dad. “How's school going?” Harry asked. She sighed, “you know, pretty shitty but that's normal,” she chuckled. The guys resumed their conversations and she had to intervene. “I'm not trying to be rude or anything but do we have any food?” Tom gasped, “oh fuck, uh- haz can you go with Morgan and go get some food for all of us. Don't worry I'll pay you back.” He pleaded. Haz nodded and they made their way out.
Driving over to the fast food joint, haz decided to strike a conversation. “So kid, since we haven't talked in a while-,” she cut him off. “We talked yesterday. We were facetiming.” She said chuckling. “So what? It's been a while. Anyway, how's school? You got a boyfriend or like a crush?” He asked. She didn't know what to respond not how to. After a couple seconds, Harrison pieced it together. He looked over at her who was biting her nails. “Do you have a boyfriend?” He asked again. She just nodded. “But uncle haz you have to promise you won't tell my dad. He'll get mad,” she pleaded. He nodded, out of nowhere he shouted, “my niece has a boyfriend. Oh my God you are growing up so fast.” At a red light, he turned and grabbed me by the shoulder and said “you're getting old, stop it.” He chuckled.
We made our way back to the house and she connected to the bluetooth speaker in the living room. ‘That's what I like’ by Bruno Mars came on and she started dancing and singing. They all laughed at her but she didn't care.
Sex by the fire at night
Silk sheets and diamonds all night.
She sang those two lines and the boys gave her a weird look. “What?” She asked chuckling. “Sex by the fire at night? I think not,” Tom said. She groaned, “fam, it's just a song.” He shook his head, “you're getting to that age-” he was cut off by Morgan groaning. “If you give me the talk right now, I'mma lose my appetite.” The guys chuckled. “Seriously, no boys, Morgan.” She looked at Harrison who just shrugged. “Why not? Like you said,I'm at that age. Why can't I have a boyfriend? Uncle harry has told me before you had a girlfriend when you were 15. I'm 16 what's the difference?” She asked.
He sighed, “I don't want guys to take advantage of you.” Morgan scoffed, “Dad, not sure what generation you are still livin’ in but a relationship is a two way street-” she was cut off by her dad. “Morgan I said no boyfriend so you aren't allowed to have one!” Her eyes went wide and she clenched her jaw. She moved upstairs so she wouldn't have to see him at this current point in time. Harrison slipped upstairs without being seen by Tom. He knocked on the door and saw her sitting on the bed, listening to music. “Kid,” he said softly as he said down next to her. She took off her earphones to listen to him. “Don't mind him, he'll cool down.” She scoffed, “haz it's just bullshit. There is an incredible double standard for men compared to women,” she said. “My dad isn't going to let me stay with him, because he wouldn't approve. I know him too well,” she admitted. “Your dad just wants the best for you.” She stood up, “ and how is me having a boyfriend going to alter that?”
A knock at the door, stopped their conversation. Tom came in and saw an angry Morgan, and a normal Harrison. Harrison left the room, which left Tom and Morgan alone. “Morgan-” he started but she was quick to cut him off. “Dad, if you're here to say what you already said downstairs just in a much calmer tone, I don't want to hear it.” She walked downstairs to grab her backpack to do work, but he followed. “Morgan just talk to me,” he said. She looked back, and shook her head. “Please.” She stop and looked at him, and calmly said, “nah fam.” And with that she ran to her room carrying her backpack.
He looked at his brothers including Harrison and covered his mouth with his hand, “what am I going to do with her?” He said rhetorically, or so he thought. “Let her have a boyfriend,” Harrison said calmly. “She's 16.” Sam intervened, “so you had a girlfriend when you were 15,” he looked at him like he was stupid, “what does that matter?” Tom said. Harry scoffed, “she can clearly tell that there is a double standard between you and her. She can't have a boyfriend at 16 but you had a girlfriend at 15. She might think, what the fuck why can't she have a guy but you can, when you compare the two of you at the same age.” Tom furrowed his brows, “I don't want her to start dating, she's too young.” Harrison scoffed, “bullshit.”
Upstairs, Morgan called her boyfriend, Nick. “Hello?” He answered.
“Hey, Nicky.” Morgan said. “What's up babe?” He said. She sighed, “nothing just wanted to talk to you.” He chuckled, “I miss you. Think you'll come over today?” She sighed again, “my dad is kind of mad at me, so not today. Sorry babe,” she genuinely felt sad because she had to hide her relationship from her dad. “Wanna talk about it?” He asked. She thought about it for a bit before just coming out about it. “My dad thinks I'm too young to date. And well he doesn't know yet.” She said.
Tom made his way up the stairs and before knocking he heard her talking to someone. He pressed his ear to the door and listened. “What about you? What do you think about it?” Nick asked. She sighed, “I think he's overreacting. He had a girlfriend when he was 15 and I can't even have a boyfriend at 16.” Nick paused, “but Morgan you do have a boyfriend. You have me, what's the problem with just not telling your dad?” Nick asked.
“Babe, if my dad doesn't let me have a boyfriend then that means when he finds out about us, he's going to make us breakup.” Nick sighed. Morgan heard noise outside her door and told Nick she'll call him later. She opened the door and her dad was standing there stunned, like a deer in headlights. “So, you have a boyfriend?” He asked. Morgan's eyes went wide, but she nodded nonetheless. “Ok.” With that he went downstairs, leaving Morgan confused as ever. She went back to her room to lay on her bed. She thought about her dad and she knew he wasn't going to take the new found information well. Soon she lulled herself to sleep.
She woke up to a blanket draped over her, and her shoes were placed on the floor next to the bed. She got up slowly and made her way to the closet. Saturdays were reserved for Harry, Sam, and Paddy day. Fridays was Harrison's day. And Sunday was the entire family. She got dressed in a white crop top, and black shorts. She chose her black converse and fishnet tights to finish the look. She went downstairs and saw the guys waiting for her. “Hey guys,” she said looking through the fridge. “Morgan we're going to take you out for breakfast,” Sam said standing up. She furrowed her brows, and closed the fridge door. “Ok,” she said skeptically. She ran upstairs again to grab a hoodie that the four of them made their way out. Harrison and Tom were already gone doing who knows what.
They took her to a little diner close to the house, and just ate in silence but Morgan was still skeptical as to why they were here? They usually made food and played video games all day, then at the end she'd have to leave because of school the next day. She put down her fork and look at the man across from her. “Forgive me if I'm rude but, why are we here? We never usually do this,” she pointed out. They looked at her and sighed, “Tom kinda broke down yesterday. After he left your room,” Paddy said looking down at his food, she furrowed her brows and expected the last part to the story. “And?” She said. “Well- we didn't know how to tell you or when to tell you so we took you out,” Sam stammered. She leaned back and shook her head, “My dad is making this a way bigger deal than it needs to be.” Harry nodded but didn't say anything else.
They got back to the house, and by that time her dad and Harrison were back. She braced herself for the worst when she got in the house but they were just talking casually. “Hey guys,” she said greeting them. She walked over to her dad and hugged him and he kissed her forehead. She hugged Harrison and he kissed her cheek. “Morgan, the guys and I were going to the mall wanna go?” Sam asked from the kitchen. “All of you?” They nodded. “Sure. Right now?” They nodded again so they made their way to the mall. She put on her earphone and just sat there listening to her music. They got to the mall and she was quieter than usual. The guys noticed this but decided against saying anything. She followed her dad and uncle's into a store but did nothing in there. She just waited. As they were walked, Tom decided it was a better time than ever to say anything, “Morgan are you ok?” He asked. She pulled her bud out of her ear and looked back at him, “yeah, I'm fine.” She continued walking forward, and they didn't address the situation anymore.
She was think about how Tom would end up addressing the situation of her having a boyfriend. Tom knew he was overreacting but did he care? No. She was his only baby, and he wasn't going let a boy ruin his little baby. Though it was a tad crazy, he was willing to make sure his daughter would always be ok. For one, that's what parents or in her case, Dad's are for, right?
She kept walking along by herself, till Harry pulled up next to her and slung his arm around her shoulders. “Hey kid,” he greeted. “Hey,” she said. He looked at her, “morgan are you ok?” She looked at him, “Harry I'm perfectly fine.” Harry looked at up at her favorite store coming up in the near distance. “Kid, can you help me shop in that store?” He pointed. She chuckled, “yes because you want to wear skanky crop tops and short skirts,” she said. He looked at her like she was crazy, “I need to broaden my horizons, Morgan.” She chuckled as she entered the store with Harry. Whilst walking throughout the store he kept pointing out nice clothes for her to wear but she was a bit skeptical about a lacy bodysuit he had chosen so they decided against it.
They got back to the house just in time for dinner which was quite awkward. She didn’t really talk to her dad as she knew that he’s still be mad or would just shoot indirect petty remarks at her. She knew her father quite well. They finished their meal, and he decided this was the best time to bring it up. “Morgan, we need to talk,” He started. “ABout..that.” She looked at at him with wide eyes, she sighed. “Do we have right now?” She whined. HE nodded, “You wanted a boyfriend so you’re going to have to deal with it.” She sighed again.
“Alright, yesterday I found out that Morgan has a boyfriend. I only know that his name is nick. Morgan care to add on?” He asked rhetorically. “Yes, I have a boyfriend, and yes his name is nick but he’s so sweet. Think of it this way dad, he’s like the real life version of peter parker minus the spiderman aspect. And he cares for me. He actually genuinely cares,” She said.
“Can i meet him?” He asked. Her eyes went so wide they might as well fallen out, she shook her head so fast she may have gotten whiplash. “No, no no. Why? We just started dating two months ago,” She said. His eyes went wide, “two months!!” He shouted. The guys looked at us as though they were enjoying seeing the scene unfold before their eyes. “I need to meet this guy for real to see if he lives up to the name,” She sighed and leaned back in her chair. “Fine. Tomorrow after school.” She left upstairs and turned around when Haz wasn’t following her. “Uncle haz,” She motioned to come with her.
---
The next day came and Morgan was dreading it with every inch of her being. She met up with Nick before class started at the lockers, “Hey nicky,” SHe greeted. He turned around to place a kiss on her cheek, knowing what was going through her head since she told him what was happening after school. “Are you worried about what your dad is going to say about me?’ He said closing his locker before slinging his arm around her shoulders. “Fam, are you kidding? Of course I am. When it comes to this my dad is sort of a wild card,” She said leaning into his touch. The bell rang and they went their separate ways. Throughout the day, she couldn’t help but think what her father was going to do, but she quickly shook it out of her head.
She walked to the house with Nick to where her family was waiting for them. She opened the door and quickly entered, Nick hot on her heels. Tom walking to greet them, “Hello, I’m Tom, Morgan dad,” He said shaking Nick’s hand. “Hello sir, I’m Nick,” He replied. Morgan was more than skeptical as to how civil her dad was acting. She grabbed Nick’s hand and led him into the living room where her uncles were seated. “Guys this is Nick, My boyfriend. Nick this is Harrison, Harry, Sam, and Paddy,” She said. Nick shook hands and politely said sir when addressing him. Something they were looking forward to saying ‘you can call me sir’ but much to their disappointment it didn’t happen. She sat down next to Nick on the couch and waited for somebody to say something as your family meeting your boyfriend for the first time wasn’t awkward enough.
“So Nick,” Tom said walking into the living room coming from the kitchen. “What are your intention with my daughter?” Nick looked at Morgan, then at Tom. “Well sir, I-uh really like her and I’m hoping that I get to continue to date your really cool daughter.” Morgan blushed as she looked down at her hands. Tom and the boys saw the pink tint on the girl’s cheeks and decided that he was a cool kid. And she was right, he was the epitome of Peter parker minus the spiderman aspect. “Alright, well dinner’s ready so,” he motioned to the kitchen for food. Morgan led him to the dinner table, and instead of Tom sitting across from you, he was sitting across from Nick. “Nick, this is a very important question,” Harrison started. Morgan’s breath hitched in her throat as she waited for his question. “Who’s better Spiderman or Batman?” They all looked at Nick as he stuttered, “Well-um I think they’re both really cool in different aspects. For example, batman’s gadgets are cool, but spiderman has Karen and stuff. And let’s not forget about the Spiderman game. That in itself was a beautiful piece of code. The graphics were amazing and yeah. So yeah, they’re both really cool.” You chuckled as he rambled on. Harrison and Tom exchanged a look and nodded slightly. “So nick what do you want to be after highschool,” sam asked. “I-um thinking of going into film school,” as he said the word ‘film’Harry’s ears perked up. “Really? To do what?” Harry asked. “Well, currently I’m writing a script for a short film i have in mind, so I’m going to finish that. But i’m thinking to be a screenwriter,” He told him, Harry nodded and exchanged a look with Tom. “Got any hobbies, Nick?” Sam asked. “I like to cook, and i well play video games any chance I get,” He said. “What kind of games?” Paddy asked. “I’m play Spiderman, Mortal Kombat with friends, call of duty, and just different story games.” Paddy looked at Tom with his eyebrows raised and nodded.
“After dinner, wanna help me back cookies, nick?” Sam asked. Nick nodded as he knew it would be a good way to bond with Morgan’s uncle.
The cookies were soon made and the kitchen was destroyed as there was flour covering the counter and their clothes. Tom, Harrison, Paddy and Harry sat in the living room waiting for the cookies to be done. While the rest of them were in the kitchen, from morgan’s perspective it seems as though Nick was getting along with Sam. The oven beeped so Sam took the cookies and placed them onto the stove to cool off. The left to the living room to rejoin the group. Nick’s phone rang so he moved to the kitchen to answer it. When he came back he told us that his mom is asking him to come home. “Oh, let me give you some cookies to go,” Morgan said waking to the kitchen. From there she could hear tom saying goodbye to Nick, “Bye nick, it was nice meeting you,” He started, he moved closer to whisper something in his ear. “You hurt my daughter, we hurt you. Alright well, Bye.” They guys all said bye, and Morgan gave him the bag and walking his outside. “So,” He said. “So,” Morgan matched. “It was nice meeting your family.” She chuckled, “You didn’t think they were overbearing?” She asked. He shook his head. “I have to go now, my mom's gonna get mad otherwise,” he chuckled. He leaned forward to press a kiss on to her cheek before descending down the steps to walk home. She walked back inside with a smile on her face, only to see her family grinning at her for what they just saw happening outside. “Alrighty boy, what's your verdict?” Morgan asked. “I liked him,” Harrison said. “ Harry, Paddy and Sam nodded, which only left Tom. “Dad?” she asked. “Yes I approve of him,” Morgan let out a content sigh. “Although you were right, he is like Peter Parker minus the Spiderman aspect.”
Gallavich Week: Day 5: Family
This is post season 8 but none of the gay jesus stuff happened and Ian didn't get arrested.
********
Ian was lying awake at 2 am not focusing on anything in particular, just starting at the ceiling. Thoughts came in waves to him. Right now, he was thinking about his brother, Carl. Carl had left a month ago for his second year at military school and his crazy girlfriend, Kassidi has permanently moved into his bed, saying that she trusts Carl to come back to her. Something about a gut feeling that he wants to come back. Ian, Lip and Debbie had all taken turns on trying to convince her to go back to her home, that Carl wouldn't come back in the middle of term for her but she wouldn't budge. Frank thoroughly enjoyed having her around because her rich dad sent her money and she got them stuff from that money, even stuff for home like groceries. Ian thought it was weird that she was staying even when Carl wasn't around but she said this was her family since Carl was her husband. Ian and everyone knew she was crazy but he realized she lived in fantasies. When Carl was here, she lived in the fantasy of having a perfect family and such and now that he'd left, she latched onto the next best fantasy she could think of, wife waiting for her husband who was away in military.
Ian remembered when he wanted to join the army and then he did; then he ended up as a dancer in a gay bar and then Mickey brought him back. The waves of thought always brought Mickey's memories with them.
He heard a noise outside his room. It was Xan, he guessed, Lip's violent fuck buddy, Eddie's niece. Lip had brought her home about the time Carl left, thinking she could have Carl's bed but with the whole Kissidi being a new Gallagher thing, Xan was sleeping in Ian's bed and Ian was sharing with Lip in what Fiona's old bedroom. Xan's mom had left her with Eddie and disappeared and after a while, Eddie had left Xan in the garage and left her without anyone to look for her. It was good of Lip to bring her over and it also gave him some purpose. Besides, her responsibility helped him to stay away from drinking. But every night she woke up and did God knows what, probably drank some water, used the toilet or something. Ian knew she wasn't very comfortable with them and that she missed her Mom but they couldn't do anything about it.
It seemed that the Gallagher house was once again, full of kids. Franny, Liam, Xan, Kassidi, they all created the noise and racket that was characteristic to his home. He remembered so many random people had lived in this house besides the Gallaghers. There was Fiona's boyfriend, Jimmy/Steve/Jack whatever his name was, then they had Sheila Jackson live with them for a while, Mandy used to live with them too when Lip wasn't such an asshole to her. Then there was the crazy Sammi. Ian thought that was the crowdiest his house had been besides the day care hours. That time, Carl had a girlfriend who had about 10 siblings and they all lived in the living room, Sammi and her fat son was there and Mickey was there. Mickey was always there, through all of it. Ian remembered that first night he'd spent here. He had been cold to Mickey. Asked him to sleep on the floor which Ian remembered left him in shock when he agreed. Ian remembered Mickey taking care of him in this house when he was sick. If he had not been there, Ian would've turned into Monica. Junkie, always leaving, doing crazy things and dealing drugs or blowing men to make a living. Probably he was Monica when Mickey was with him. He loved Mickey, very much, but this stupid Monica virus made him feel so lost and it made all the other feelings so numb that he was willing to push his only stone away. He felt horrible thinking about that day, Mickey had came running from all the way to his house just to make sure he was okay, and he had hurt him. Not once but even after he was thrown in prison, Ian had hurt him from the outside. Ian had managed to keep all memories of Mickey locked away in a dark corner of his mind but ever since those 3 days with him, on the road to Mexico, those memories had exploded, and it was impossible to put them back now. They never stopped.
It had almost been a year now. A pretty uneventful year for Ian. Most of it was spent trying to get Trevor back which hadn't worked properly since he was now seeing someone else. One thing that Ian did besides his work was do things for the shelter kids but he kept his distance from the youth shelter ever since that day Trevor introduced him to Brendon, some old friend of his who had moved away a few years ago but now came back and was living with Trevor. Ian gave up on him after that. It was no use anyway, Mickey's departure and Monica's death were the two things that ruled his mind. Even after a year, he couldn't stop thinking of the last kiss he had had with Mickey at the border. He was sure this was the end for them, realistically. But somehow Mickey's eyes said it wasn't and it didn't really feel like the end to him either.
The next morning, he went downstairs. kassidi was making banana pancakes. Xan came down and pilled a plate for herself. Ian poured himself coffee. Lip came down and got a plate of pancakes for himself, too. Debbie came down with Franny, talking loudly about her new job which was full of middle aged men. She and lip continued talking about something or other that Ian wasn't paying much attention to. He was a bit tired because of the small amount of sleep he had gotten last night. Fiona came through the front door after about 15 minutes with a lunch bag to take Liam to school with her. Ian hadn't noticed him coming downstairs for breakfast. Fiona didn't like Kassidi but she kept that to herself since she didn't live there anymore. Ian ate his pancakes in quiet, not participating in the morning activities like throwing Frank out of the house because he started bothering Xan, asking about her family which she was visibly uncomfortable about.
He hadn't been this disinterested in anything since that time when he came back from the hospital with bipolar disease. He remembered he felt like a zombie back then and then to make himself feel less like a zombie, he had punched Mickey and had one of the best sex ever. He smiled at the memory and it hit him how much he missed his ex boyfriend. In that moment, he realized none of the people in this house made me feel like the way Mickey did. Yes they were his family, he cared about them a lot and loved them dearly but none of them was Mickey. No one could ever be like Mickey. No one could ever talk like his eyes did and no one would ever love him like he did. This thought scared him. He wondered what was the point without him? What was he doing with a normal life, a job, a family if he couldn't have love and he couldn't feel. Fucking around wasn't enough to fill the gaping hole Mickey had left in his heart. In that moment, he realized, he can't wait anymore. He had to go and find him. He had to look for him because there was nothing else that made sense to him.
So he got up, went to his room, packed his stuff, and his meds (yes. Meds are important, he thought, he can't loose himself when trying to find his purpose, it wouldn't help.)
He rushed downstairs and was about to leave when Lip called from the kitchen.
"Where are you going? I thought your shift started at noon?"
Ian turned around to face his brother. He should tell him before he leaves or they'll think he wasn't taking his meds again and had Monica-d them.
He hesitated but then found the courage and said, "I'm going to Mexico. To find Mickey."
Lip laughed. Yeah it was stupid but there was no other option.
"You're going to Mexico? And where exactly would you find Mickey in the whole place?" He said with a smirk and that signature Lip look that screamed 'you're dumb.'
"I don't know," Ian looked away. "But I'm going. At least i know where to start."
"Ian don't be stupid. Come on, get inside."
"I'm not being stupid. Maybe I am. I know. But i don't have any choice. I need to find him. I can't live like this!" Ian said, almost pleading his brother to understand.
Lip looked at him carefully then said, "alright, let's go upstairs and talk. Okay?"
Ian realized Kassidi and Xan were watching them. He didn't wanna go and 'talk'. He wanted to leave and he wanted Mickey. But he agreed to Lip, hoping maybe he could get him to help.
He walked upstairs slowly behind Lip and sat on the bed.
"Are you okay?" Was the first thing Lip said. Ian rolled his eyes and gave the answer his brother wanted to hear.
"Yes. I'm taking my meds regularly and I've also packed them here. I'm not Monica."
Lip nodded, "No, I know, man. But why Mickey, all of a sudden?" He asked and raised his eyebrows.
"I want him. My life is pointless. He was here and everything was fine. I was happy. And now I don't even feel like going out or doing anything at all. He's the only reason." He finished, finding himself pleading again, his eyes getting red at the edges and his voice was desperate.
Lip thought for a long moment, "you really wanna find him?" He looked concerned and not entirely into it, but he wanted to help his brother.
Ian nodded and buried his face in his hands.
"Alright, then," he clapped his hand on Ian's back, "then let's find him. Okay? But you don't need to leave like this. We can make a plan. Look for some places he might be and then you can leave. With a plan. Okay?"
Ian looked at him, thankful for understanding and relieved that finally something in his life made sense.
*******
Ahhh if only the Gallaghers were as supportive of them. Also, sorry for crap writing.
HC for RFA + Minor trio where MC got into a big accident that resulted of her becoming disabled. She is depressed and insecure. How would they react about it and what would they do to help her?
***Why with always angsty asks panorami? T_T It’s okay, I’mup for angsty. As #thirstqueen, I do prefer nsfw, and as a fluffy monster, Ilove me some fluff, but what would life be without a little angst.
I’m notgoing to get too much into the accident itself because that will makeeverything into a full fic, so we’ll just blurb over that bit if that’salright, and I’ll make the disability paralysis, since the disability wasn’t specified. There’s no rhyme or reason to the order today, just kind of as theycame to me. And there’s a minor mention of sex but no specifics, so I’m not marking it NSFW. ~Let’s Connect! FFC
Character breakdown: Good ending canon characters, Secretending 02 Saeran, V with an operation to restore some of his sight, my versionof Vanderwood as seen in my VanderwoodBackstory Fanfiction***
Jumin:
If there were anyone who could hound the doctors and demandthat your care be absolutely perfect, it’s Jumin, and he spares nothing foryour accident. In fact, Jaehee has to show up to keep him from shouting ateveryone because he is at this level of frailty where he’s not letting anyonedo the job he’s hiring them for either with all the ruckus of making sure they’re treating youright.
It takes months for him to decide on your in-home nurse,even longer for him to decide on the proper lawyer to completely destroy thedrunk driver who paralyzed you. Jumin is so absorbed in all of these technicalthings, that he doesn’t seem to pay you enough attention.
Every experimental drug, every experimental surgery to getyou to walk again, every consultant, he wants to see everything, and it’s allyou ever talk about before you finally break down, sobbing that you just don’twant to do this mess anymore.
Jumin is concerned by what you mean by that, but once youexplain to him that you just want your husband back, that you’re still aliveand want to enjoy being with him for whatever time the two of you have, itmakes sense again.
It’ll take some time for the two of you to reconnect and toget him to get off his fixation on using money to fix everything, but you can manage.
Jaehee:
The café has been run by your employees for weeks, and you’restarting to get really worried about your company’s reputation for excellence, which only makesyou all the more stressed.
Your partner is insistent on taking care of you on aconstant basis, which is not only becoming stifling and making you stress overeverything with the café.
Finally, when one of your employees comes upstairs cryingabout the beans not having been ground properly and the one problem customerscreaming at one of the other employees, you put your foot down.
Enough isenough. There are a lot of things you can take care of yourself, and Jaeheeneeds to take care of the business until you can help out again.
You’re paralyzed, not incapable of ever working at the caféagain. Once this sinks in, you’re finally able to get some air and try tofigure out how to handle this situation on your own.
Zen:
He’d been in his own accident where he almost died, but thiswas…it was so different. You weren’t able to heal like he was. In fact, itseemed like you wouldn’t be able to heal completely at all.
Zen really struggled with taking care of you as you werelearning how to do things on your own, simply because you were insisting, as hismanager, that he keep working.
The day that he came home with you struggling to get up offthe floor after you’d had a bath and couldn’t get back in your chair, that waswhen he’d had enough of you learning this on your own.
In some ironic twist of fate, the month he took off fromacting to help you ended up getting him more fame, but that also meant your faces were allover the magazines and people were trying to get pictures through your blinds. For awhile, life was almost more stressful than when you were trying to figure it outon your own.
Time eventually got the reporters to cool down, althougheveryone would call you ‘brave’ for the life you were living now and constantlybe requesting interviews that you just never gave.
It made you moredepressed, both as a manager and as a girlfriend, that people were only interested in Zen for being the sensationalperfect boyfriend and not for his talent, but again, time would fix that.
The two of you could be happy together even with you in awheelchair, and you were still able to work, so other than being a littleirritated and the occasional bout of crying over the few things you just couldn’tdo anymore, you were happy.
V/Jihyun:
He knew what it was like to be disabled, well not like this,but he knew what it was like to want to do things and not be able to managethem at least, so he felt like he could understand somewhat.
When you would have your emotional moments, crying for hoursover just wanting to be able to go for a run again, he was there, holding youand just mumbling softly into your ear that he was there, rubbing your back softly.
Sometimes him being there was all you needed, and other times you just wantedto scream at him and he took it in stride. He was used to it anyway.
The one thing that he decided not to make another mistakeon? Trying to do everything himself. He accepted help from his best friendJumin in getting an in-home nurse from one of the hospitals that the Han familywas on the board of and accepting his recommendation for a therapist.
Life was weird, it was new, and it was hard, but the two ofyou had been through a lot already, and you could get through this too. Sure,this was permanent, but just because it was permanent didn’t mean you weren’tgoing to find a way to live and be happy with it.
Seven:
It hadn’t been one of his baby cars, but he still didn’tseem interested in vehicles at all. It was bothersome enough that you weredealing with your own emotional issues from the accident, but then he also just seemed distant and constantly would spend time on his computer instead of with you.
Seven was doing a terrible job at keeping the house clean,absolutely terrible, and it almost looked like a hoarder’s den beforeVanderwood showed up asking for work like he had not that many monthsago, except this time you begged Seven to let him be the maid.
Vanderwood did a good job cleaning the house, but he did aneven better job of slamming Seven against the wall and telling him to get hisshit together because you needed him, and Seven seemed not to get that. ‘You can’t just run away from your problems. She needs you, you littleasshole, so get in there and hold her before I tase you to death. Alright?’
As much as the yelling and fighting was terrifying in and ofitself, making you cry even harder than you had been before, the next thing youknew you were in Seven’s warm embrace, a huffed ‘That’s what I thought.’ from Vanderwoodin the hallway.
Apparently. he’d needed a bit of a kick in the ass just toget going again, because from that point on he’d seemed to accept it just thatmuch more, at least enough that he didn’t seem so distant and enough that hewas back to washing his baby cars.
You even washed them together one night,spraying each other with your hoses and laughing like idiots again for thefirst time in a long time. Life could be good again and would be good again.
Yoosung:
No one but him was allowed to touch you, feed you, barelyeven allowed to look at you, because he had to take care of everything. Yoosungonly trusted himself. He had lost Rika and he wasn’t about to lose you.
At first, you welcomed his constant help, the adorable blushon his face when he helped you bathe bringing you a smile because even thoughyou’d been together for a long time and had seen each other plenty, he justwould always blush like he was seeing you for the first time.
Yoosung spent a lot of time telling you how beautiful youwere and helping you to train your upper body as much as he could, so that youcould learn to do things on your own, but it was starting to become worrying theway that he would look at people who talked to you and shoo away even the otherRFA members.
He had taken a special leave from school, but now you wantedhim to go back, and it was a visit from Zen that ended up making thathappen.
All you’d been doing was chatting, but once Yoosung came downstairs,upon hearing you talking to someone, he was enraged. “MC needs to rest still!”The way he seemed to shove and push at Zen to leave made you break down, yoursoft-hearted man coming to your side immediately.
Finally, you were able to explain your feelings and itseemed like the way your boyfriend’s eyes were widening as he took in theinformation, that your feelings had sunk in.
It felt less and less like youwere being isolated and once you could take care of yourself effectively,Yoosung finally went back to school.
Saeran:
The amount of pacinghe did all the time, it just set you further on edge. Seven had thought to hireVanderwood to help you with getting in and out of your chair until you could figure things out for yourself, but the screaming fit thatSaeran had over that made it clearly impossible.
No one but him would care for you, but whenever he wasaround you, he was pacing. When you cried or felt worthless, he had no ideawhat to do, and it got to the point where you were just setting each other offinto fits and closing off from one another.
Seven was the one to finally bring you back together,crawling into your bed one night so that the both of you woke up to him inthere the next morning, freaking out and shoving him away. “Idiot brother, getaway from my MC!”  And he did, actinglike he’d been so hurt by that, and you and Saeran just looked at each other androlled your eyes.
That was when you plotted your revenge. The two of you madesure to remove the ‘l’ and ‘o’ keys from every keyboard in the house.
Seven wasglad to see you two working together again instead of so separated, but hereally did wish he could type ‘lol’ again.
The time it took to find the keysand put them all back wasn’t as bad as the two of you not getting along, though.
Vanderwood:
He’d thought his life was ending when you’d had youraccident, sobbing at your bedside like a little bitch and begging you not toabandon him. Not the bravest or most rugged experience of his life, but whenyou finally woke up after your surgeries, he was over the moon, kissing youeverywhere over and over.
Paralyzed…it wasn’t a positive diagnosis, but you werealive, and for Vanderwood that was enough. It hurt him to see how you felt so coopedup and empty, and he tried his best to solve that problem for you, letting youride on his back when he went for his runs just to give you that feeling ofbeing free again.
Someone called you ‘wheely’ once in the street and he nearlyslammed them into a wall. No one insults the love of his life.
This man does everything e possibly can for you. He used to take care of hisbrother Caleb as a young child, so this wasn’t so different to him, just on abigger scale. The things you were able to do on your own, he’d leave up to youjust to help you feel more independent, but he was always close by.
Sex was…a problem. His libido is so incredibly high, and hefelt the urge to take care of things on a pretty regular basis. The two of youfigured out some different ways to please each other once you were finally gettingused to your new life, but there was a lot of frustration at first.
As difficult as things were with him a little wornout and upset because you were upset - frustrated from sexual dissatisfaction; you depressed and lamenting your formerfreedom;  you manage to adjust and find new ways to connect.
I’m thinking about it and talking to my girlfriend about it and like, I’m still pretty fucking frustrated about the way in which so many things relating to her not being able to see me back in April went down over the course of a few months.
Starting back in January, my parents find Probable Cause kinda shit in my desk. A desk that had been in my room for probably about a decade that I literally cannot remember them ever snooping in, even when snooping in other places. It’s the sort of thing where it’s on me, and I don’t even want to divest from that as a responsibility: I fucked up. But that it had the opportunity to be on me was in part because of them and a way of looking at me that just thought of me as disposable, frankly. It thought of me as ancillary. And it still influences them!
We had been hoping that, after holiday rush bullshit was over, that we’d have a chance for her to come out here and see me for a bit, that my dedication during the holiday season would pay off and be recognized as exceptional even with a lot of exceptional work being done by my coworkers and i, but for one reason or another it got pushed back again and again, first because of worries about them and then entirely because of work.
I remember when my dad threatened me with violence after I lost my cool and called him an asshole for trying to pull some “well, what if he genuinely feels bad?” shit about Mark Wahlberg looking to get his felony vacated so he could open up a goddamn burger joint in California and then dropping it when he eventually realized that it wasn’t going to work because it was so transparent
I remember finding out that my mom looked at me with disgust and had shared that with my younger brother after the Super Bowl
I remember weeks after weeks of waiting, of wondering when I would be able to see her. Soon enough it came time for inventory, and that took up an entire month where I had no way of asking for time off. So finally, when that was all done, and I could ask again, I still had to fucking wait because of shit with how far out the schedule for work had already been made.
And when I finally WAS asking about it, talking about it? Negotiating it was a continual process of sacrifice. It was cutting down seven days where I wouldn’t be working to four, despite specifically choosing seven days that were split between two work weeks, so that they could schedule me some days in both and I would at least have some kinda paychecks coming in from both, if not ones from what I normally make in a week of working. It was continually doing “enough” to show to my dad that I was doing just that, enough. So many fraught discussions with me on the defensive, every single effort of mine demeaned and laid out neatly for him to pick apart. Why do I need to ask for that much time off? Why am I not already full time? Why do I need to have this many days off, if I’m part time then? What have we planned? What can I show him that is tangible, concrete, that he can find fault with and reject?
All the while I continually mention here and there things about her visiting: wanting to get things taken care of, wanting to pick up extra shifts so I can have goodwill for days off, looking to make plans of one sort or another, or talking about things we may do. I try to talk to my parents as little about it as possible, to give them less to seize upon. I discuss, more than once, with my dad about how to broach it, how to try and spend one night with her, and he says he will do what he can to help me do such in a way that is “respectful” to my mother.
Finally, it gets to the last few days before I’m supposed to see her. I ask him about how I’m gonna get to the airport to meet her, he’s tentatively okay with me going from the LIRR to the AirTrain if she goes into LaGuardia. I check what time that would be at, ask if I could get the train with him part of the way or something. That night, when faced with it all, with a situation they hate, I am forced to effectively stand and acquit them for what they proceed to do.
My mom says that she had in fact said no to my dad when he asked, and that the discussion had ended there. I remember no mention of such a discussion.
My dad says that he assumed that I had the talked to my mother after the discussion, mended things with her, and then proceeded to discuss it with him. I cannot remember if she admits that she never mentioned this discussion to me. I remember, though, that in fact his response required that I maintain that I had deceived him by not disclosing the lack of continuation to that conversation which I had not been informed of at any point.
A back and forth proceeds over the next hour or two where I am thrashed between the two, updating my girlfriend over the phone in tears, before she finally talks to my dad over the phone and hears his honeyed words, the dripping duplicity of them, the way in which he says everything while claiming nothing at all, a hauntology of his own self developing before my eyes. this is not a man I know, nor is it one that she has ever heard about. I know the appearance of this man, but I know not who he is. he is certainly not my father. he suggests condescendingly that she instead visit during the summer.
Summer comes and goes. As it ends, we finally move out, after a two year ordeal caps off two decades in the same house. I start to settle in, my siblings go off to school, the ranch house becomes quiet and still. My birthday comes and goes unremarkably, save for the way in which my mother pitches a fit over a cake she bought without any prompting. By the time I finally start to think of how to ask about her visiting, the break room corkboard has a note, saying to see a certain manager with any requests to change availability or request time off, as November and December are already considered too close to discuss except on a case-by-case basis, on a barely-there standard of rigor. That manager has been promoted to a bigger role at another store as of Saturday, I now do not know who to see if I want to request time off.
Today, a coworker approaches me and passes along that I am being asked to pick up a shift, albeit a relatively short one, in the middle of a stretch of days off that I had been looking forward to. I accept. In the car ride home, I let my frustration slip and say to my dad that I accept the shift not because of myself but because of how he has conditioned me to view this job. This is not true without context: it also is part of that same strategy, taking shifts in order to gain favor at work so that I can schedule days off in a way that works well. He says not to think of it as that, as taking shifts “for him” when I am openly saying that I would not be taking it except for him, that I think of it as that already. As for other reasons to be doing it, he offers none.
There is no further discussion. He makes a passing reactionary remark when the radio mentions a news story about two cops in Brooklyn, one quickly undone by even a cursory look at the story at hand. I weigh myself, shower, and go downstairs to bed.
Goodnight.
Let’s Play “Moments: Hold Me, Leave Me” Part 5
Anyway, the owner of the resort-half is Jayden's and Grayson's father. Angela is obviously shocked at this, although Jayden insists (at least in front of daddy dearest), that the two of them have never met before. Either they really haven't, Jayden doesn't remember about having met Angela before, or he's lying. Angela pretends to be cool about this entire thing.
Dad wanders off to go talk to somebody else, which leaves Jayden to introduce Angela to somebody else. He acts completely smug about the entire thing, and Angela thinks that he's going to be a problem.
Tumblr media
For some reason, it's the step-mom from Challenge Accepted? Except that least her weird leather dress makes way more sense in the context of Hold Me, Leave Me. A SAHM does not need to wear that dress.
Anyway, Caroline doesn't seem to like Angela very much... for some reason. My guess is that she's Jayden's girlfriend, and she knows that Jayden is about to become a datable. (And because I fucking hate Grayson and would like to chuck him directly into the sun, I think my only other option now is Jayden... Le sigh) Caroline introduces Angela to some more people, before she tells Angela that “the dress you're wearing isn't very classy.” At least I don't look like I'd offer $5 blow-jobs behind a Burger King... Angela insists that how she dresses doesn't affect her work, and she pointedly stares at Caroline's exposed cleavage. Caroline insists that how you dress is a way of presenting yourself. SAYS THE LADY IN A FUCKING LEATHER MINI-DRESS! Angela then suggests that they should go shopping right now, since this is clearly more important than anything. Caroline quickly excuses herself. Uh-huh.
William comes to say goodbye. After he leaves, Jayden comes over and lays down the rules. He doesn't want for Angela to mix with his side of the business, and insists that she remain at the “hotel” part. Angela is curt to him, but her words drip with venom and sarcasm. He leaves, and Caroline asks her why he was so upset. She also seems to know an awful lot about Jayden, so points towards my girlfriend theory.
Angela is shown her office, and after a while, taken to meet her boss.
Tumblr media
AND IS EVERY FREAKING CHARACTER HERE FROM CHALLENGE ACCEPTED? This is the mom from that game!
Diana is quick to tell Angela that nobody forced her to take Angela on as an intern, despite her father. She then explains that these floors are the lower-paying rooms, these are the higher paying ones, and then these are the VIP rooms, plus the rooftop area. She sets Angela to come up with some room designs, and to go look at some of the other rooms.
Angela goes upstairs, where she picks a room at random to look at. However, she's like “Hm, looks like somebody's staying here, even though the hotel's not open yet?” She tries to leave, but for some reason, the door won't open. And guess whose room it is? (Go on, guess.)
She finds Jayden's journal, and starts to panic a little, but if she's trapped in the room, there's not much she can do right now. She decides to open it and start reading it (because when you're trapped in the hotel room of a guy who clearly can't stand you, the first thing I think is to read his private journal.) And then we have a title drop, because of course.
Jayden comes in, and Angela hides behind the curtains. He's talking on the phone, to Grayson, talking about their father. Apparently, daddy's cut Grayson off. He kind of deserves it. However, either Jayden is stupid or he just loves his brother enough, he's given Grayson some money via a joint bank account.
Jayden ends the all, and then starts to change. AND OH JEEZ, WHY. (Also, if I was Angela, I would have played up the entire 'just studying the rooms' thing, so that it wouldn't be weird. She's going to get caught in 3... 2...) He then notices her hiding behind the curtain the mirror and screams at her to get out. Which... wouldn't you? Damn, she's stupid and being kind of creepy. She screams at him about what happened... but offers nothing about why she was fucking hiding behind the curtain like a creeper.
She storms from the room, but he stops her. He apologizes, and rightly says that he doesn't like people invading his privacy. SHE WAS HIDING BEHIND THE CURTAINS... She tells him that he has a fever, which 1) Caroline told her this earlier and 2) she can feel how hot he is even with him holding onto her wrist. She insists that he should take some medicine, and that nothing could be more important than his health. He asks why she cares so much, but she insists that she doesn't.
She goes back down to her office, when Ashton calls. She tells him that she's having a hard time at work. Although it's been like ten fucking minutes, JFC. Grow a backbone. He just wanted to check in on her, and quickly hangs up.
Caroline comes barging in and starts barking out orders... which seems highly suspicious. Like I get that Angela's an intern, but dear lord, she's not fucking stupid. However, it's probably best not to continue to piss her off, so Angela agrees to do the work. But the second that she turns it in to Caroline, she chucks it into the trash and says that Diana doesn't need it anymore. Uh-huh.
At lunch, somebody comes in to give Angela a sandwich, which she didn't order, but it's her favorite. She questions one of the other ladies, who was said to have placed the order, but she says that Jayden said to order it for Angela.
At the end of the day, Angela leaves the building to call for a cab (and what's wrong with the office phones?), when she literally runs into Jayden. She says that nobody told her when her hours were supposed to be, and he offers her a ride home. BUT THAT'S VIP. However, despite Angela insisting that she'll call a cab, which could take hours to get there. He's worried about her being mostly alone at the resort, so he calls his driver and asks him to take Angela where ever she asks right now. Angela argues about this, but Jayden gets angry that she's so argumentative. She takes his car back home, and the entire time, she can't stop thinking about Jayden.
After a shower and change of clothes, Angela gets a text from Grayson. She tells him about working with Jayden, but Grayson insists that his brother isn't that bad. Grayson says he has a nice apartment. In LA. Even though he's been cut off financially. Uh-huh. He sucking dick out there or something? He also says that the female lead is pretty, and that he misses Angela.
The next morning, Angela thinks about what Caroline said, so she tries to find something “approrpiate” to wear to work. However, upon not finding anything in her own closet, she decides to raid Amelia's closet. Since it's before noon, Amelia's still asleep. She looks through Amelia's closet, and finds a dress, but eventually decides that she shouldn't have to change who she is just to please some asshole lady who's not even really your boss. Downstairs, William asks Angela to join him for breakfast, but she insists that she doesn't want to be late and leaves. In her own car.
When Angela gets in, Caroline and Diana stare at her, and Jayden doesn't show any outward signs, but Angela can tell by the look in his eyes that he's aroused by her. She never really wanted to catch his attention, but seeing Caroline being so jealous is a perk, she decides. She and Diana go into Angela's office to talk design.
Later, Angela bumps into Caroline who's like “your sister is a slut.” Lol, yes she is. Your point? She also implies that, since Angela is “dressed nice”, Angela must also be a slut. (By that standard, you're probably just as much of a slut as Amelia is.) Angela ignores her. Caroline accuses Angela of trying to land herself Jayden, but Angela's just like “I got this job because of my dad and my talents. I don't care about Jayden.”
Caroline storms off, and Angela realizes that Jayden was behind her... pretty much the entire time. She then randomly projectile vomits onto Jayden's shoes. She vomits again, this time over herself, and then passes out. And here we go...
VANILLA.
(Autumn.)
Something new happened to me while I was in the workout room. As I was pushing weight with the wrestling team, I notice three girls standing at the entrance. Two of them were Melissas. Both were thick but attractive. One Melissa had this apple-bite skin and blue eyes with caramel hair while the other was pale with dark hair. They were both friends of mine who came to see me. The non-Melissa that was standing in-between them was someone I never met before.
Her name was Cane, an Irish redhead who had eyes for me. She wore a white red-heart shirt with jeans and also had a sizable nose and a set of braces, but she was very interested in me which made me feel special. I looked past her imperfections and within two days I asked her out. Cane and I were together.
I could remember my circle of friends coming up to me and congratulating me. They gave me smiles and go-get-‘em handshakes. It was a very big deal to them. For me it was very embarrassing. Somehow there was something about me or my character that made everything I did fascinating to them. Or maybe it was because I was stressed out since I really wanted to be on the same level as everyone else around me but couldn’t, and they were happy for me only because I would finally shut up. Regardless, I was lucky because when you’re young there is instant attraction. Within a matter of two days or ten minutes of meeting someone new you ended up with them.
Soon enough I was at her house. She greeted me, noticing a scent of vanilla which she applied onto herself when I got close to her. We were on our way downstairs and ended up doing nothing except talk about random subjects and kiss. That was it. It was somewhat awkward since it was all we did, and also because of her complexion. Normally I wouldn’t go for girls with those glaring features. I still tried hard to look past her obvious nose and braces yet I thought nothing of it. Despite the awkwardness, our get-together ended pretty well for our first and only night out, I thought. Had her ma’ and her two younger sisters not be in the house, the night would have swung in a totally different direction towards her bedroom. We kissed each other goodnight and we would see each other in school the next day.
Yes. ‘Only’ night out. A week after being together, Cane sat down with me and broke it off citing “lack of communication”. I was stunned because I thought there was nothing wrong to begin with. We seen each other in passing and called each other up a few times during the week, so what really happened? The moment pulled both of us down a few levels. I tried salvaging the both of us, negotiating feelings and answers with her but she already declared the relationship dead. As a consolation we agreed to still be friends. Being true to her promise, Cane offers me to hang out with her at the roller rink the following night. She also invites my close friend Kee who was part of the congratulation party a week prior.
It was Friday. Kee and I drove to the rink. Cane arrived separately. By all accounts everything started somewhat well. I hardly spoke to her being I had a bitter taste in my mouth after the break-up. Kee, however, kept in close contact with me. The usual itinerary of things that occurred at a roller rink included skating several laps without slipping and breaking something, an arcade game or two, and dodging the junior hoods by not bumping into them the slightest bit or else.
Midway through the night the atmosphere in the rink tones down as the resident DJ plays the obligatory love song of the night. I sit this one out as the young couples come to the rink. Normally it would mean nothing to me and I wouldn’t have cared except as I look up I see Cane and Kee skating with each other, holding hands without a care in the world or in regard to my already-bruised feelings.
All this unfolded right before my eyes. I was now an outside spectator to my own theft. Not only was I lied to, I was swindled real good. I came home empty-handed feeling real heated and disappointed.
I finally had a real girlfriend who I didn’t have to drive through seven towns to see or spend two hours on the phone to make plans with and I couldn’t even enjoy it because my ‘friend’ helped take that away from me. Also, as if Cane asked me to give her a loaded gun and offered her to pull the trigger in front of me. Sure!
I cut her out of my life immediately and chose to never speak to her again. I hoped to not see her for the rest of senior year but she later joined the spring volleyball team that I volunteered for. I was constantly reminded of what happened and how she just threw me away. I couldn’t stand the sight of her like most people that ever slighted or rubbed me. I had to wait until the season was over so that I can finally rid myself of her.
Now, about Kee. Kee was a random from high-school that met me and my newfound circle of friends in junior year. Throughout us being friends, the general consensus told me that he was a real selfish asshole, calling innocent nubile girls sluts and literally pulling chairs from under people as they took their seats. He was also a raging sex-crazed pervert. Not a minute went by when he didn’t brag or act out to me how he would handle a female situation. He had a steady stream of girlfriends, one which drove him so crazy that he obsessively wanted revenge on her after she broke up with him. Good for her.
One summer we were over our friend Janet’s house and she had her cousin over, this thick but warm syrupy sweet Southern thing who already had a sexual history starting early on. Her cousin invited one of us over to sit on her lap. As I went for it, Kee threw me back to my seat and ended up sitting on her lap as if nothing happened. On another occasion, he ended up taking me to a sex shop where he was a proud employee. Don’t ask me how this happened. Near the end of a thirty-minute stay a petite female Thai stripper approaches me and introduced herself to me by lifting her shirt up. As she was about to show her native homeland to me, Kee gets in between the both of us and decides to leave, taking me with him.
Yet after all this, I still was friends with him. Why? He had taken away my only girlfriend in high-school and at my expense ended up doing all the things I should have done with her. He cock-blocked me twice and made me stand still as he championed his exploits. On the other hand, he introduced me to bike trails, late-night gaming sessions, and took me to my first gym. The biggest thing he had ever done for me was setting me up with his pageant sister, who was clearly the most popular girl in high-school. When Janet turned me down to be my prom date, it was Kee who helped fill in the blanks by giving me his sister to take out on prom night.
Despite us being friends and still hanging out together, something inside me was ticking. I was getting fed up and didn’t know it.
**********
(Spring.)
One day Kee and I join up with two of our friends, Brenden and Geane. All four of us were en route to a pool hall, a staple of ours since we graduated high-school. I had to take the back seat with Kee who was being the everyday belittling asshole as usual. Right from the get-go, bolting right out of the gate he was in top form that day. Name-calling. Picking and choosing flaws. Pointing out personal failures in my life. Digging up old names and throwing dirt as usual. Ten fucking minutes of non-stop running his mouth, demeaning me and using me as a personal trash bin before one word on impulse flies right out of my mouth at Kee for everyone in the car to hear.
“STOP!”
And stop it did. With one single word I put a stop to everything. I put a stop to Kee’s mouth; his intrusive ways, his foolishness, and his immaturity. I put a stop to his cock-blocking, his arrogance, and his ego. With one word I also stopped the car and our plans to the pool hall. I was that good.
Brenden pulls over to the side of the road to recover from that earshot. I get out of the car, walk to the trunk and get my belongings. As I pull my belongings out of Brendan’s trunk, Geane also gets out of the car to accompany me.
“If you can’t hang out with the big dogs don’t show up!” Geane hounds at me. I grab my belongings and Geane gets back into the car, the three of them driving away. As with all reasonable-minded friends they take the side of the bigger but not necessarily better man.
That day I walked four miles home, baggage and all. On my way I stop at Kee’s house. One of his brothers answered the door. I ask for all of my belongings that Kee had in his possession and made his brother fetch them for me. I took my stuff and one more sweaty beating hour later I arrive home.
With one word it was the end of my friendship with Kee. Good riddance.
**********
I apologize to Brenden for what happened. He totally understood and he accepted my apology. He realized that Kee was a huge throbbing dick for crossing the line like he always does. Brenden, however, still chose to be friends with him. Who was I to tell Brenden who to be friends with? I couldn’t. But Brenden in return respected my decision in not having anything to do with Kee anymore.
Some months later, Brendan and I are at the pool hall. It had to be a Wednesday night because Wednesdays was half-price on playing time, and Brendan and I refused to pay the full ten dollars an hour to play pool. We both planned on staying at least three hours to get our money’s worth amidst a huge crowd of people.
We play a few rounds of pool and met up with former co-workers from the department store we worked at, including a cute 18-year old with piercings and her 40-something boyfriend. Other than the soft sound of old tired stale worn-out rock hits with some random jumble from the other pool sharks, the atmosphere was hovering on soft.
“Dude!”
I look up. It was Geane again. Brenden invited him to rack up with us but I shook my head ignoring him and walked away to wait my turn to shoot. I wasn’t ready to speak to him once again just yet but he persisted. He tried offering me tickets to see The Prodigy but I did want any of it. I wouldn’t have anyway being that I thought it was bullshit. Geane gave up after two tries of getting my attention. Brenden and I continue playing our friendly game while he steps aside to talk to Geane in-between turns. Good. Keep him occupied. Rather you than me.
Thirty minutes go by and Brenden and I continue playing. Geane hopelessly sits on the sidelines. The nadir of worn-out mini-bar rock music still plays on above us faintly. As I ready my next turn, someone approaches me. It was Kee. Thanks to Geane, Kee shows up uninvited.
He’s right in front of me, so happy to see me! He’s right in the line of fire as he winds up his jerk-off personality at his latest attempt in being the big thing of the night. He obviously did not get the message the last time.
I warned him to stay away from me. I yell at him right inside the pool hall for everyone to hear. I had my pool stick in my hand and clench it to make sure I meant business. Kee did not see it coming. He was really taken aback that I stood up to myself even harder than before and was ready to strike back. Now he was steaming because I warned him. He responds by shaking his head and loaded his fists up. Before we know it, Brenden separates us. We hold our fire and then drop our proverbial guns. I put down my pool stick in a huff of disbelief and head out the door as Brenden follows suit. All this in a matter of twenty seconds.
Once again we witness the same stand-off with the same soldiers and also the same bystanders, only in a slightly larger magnitude. Once again I had to answer to Brenden as this time he is obligated to take me home.
