Thank you so much, I'm happy you appreciate them :) I'm happy to tell the tiny story behind their creation-

So, back in march/april 2021 I was in my last year of my bachelor's degree studying animation, and I still wasn't sure about going in the master's degree in animation as well after that. There were a lot of struggles at this moment but anyway

The thing is that for the master we had to create a short film, alone and (almost) fully done by ourselves, so our teachers asked us to start a sort of book or sketchbook to do researches and brainstorming about the film during summer. Even if I wasn't sure to continue I started it, and sketched a lot of stuff and various ideas I had at this moment

Then I ended up not going in the master's degree and taking a gap year instead, but I still continued to sketch stuff in that sketchbook because I still wanted to do my own film at some point. Uni or not the diploma was mostly a reason to make a film, but I in any case I wouldn't be free to do like I want because of teachers' reviews etc. I wanted to make it truly my own, maybe not perfect but just give it a try and be free to tell the story I want.

But I was frustrated because I wasn't finding something that would make me feel like it's my own stuff, it was too similar to RWBY for a lot of things (already a big inspiration at this moment, I was in the V8 brainrot for the first half of 2021 lmao). So I wasn't really going anywhere

BUT, randomly in december 2021 I had a pretty wild and pretty dream, I decided to paint digitally the main scene of it and doodle some concepts I had from it in my sketchbook :

I also ended up writing and composing a tiny song based on it (in french sorry-). It's not perfect at all or anything because I'm not a pro or super good, but creating a link between visual art & music helps me a lot most of the time so I do it (also for fun 'cause I love it) :

After that it didn't evolved much outside of the fact that I already had some sort of script for a "short film" or a teaser idk, I wrote that when I was in uni last winter. But I still wasn't really sure about the main characters or even their designs, even if Gris was the one I thought the most about and changed a lot of stuff

So last january/february I started to work on a first design and turn around for Gris :] (she didn't even have a name yet at this moment)

I continued to think of it until recently at the end of this summer where I sketched another design for her. As for Fauve, I knew for a long time I wanted Gris to have a strong bond with someone to help her go through stuff (and also a gf lol). I never really worked a lot on Fauve, I only knew she was going to have red or brown hair. x)

And I just sketched a first rough thing after Gris and liked it, so I kept it, it was really simple and easier than Gris' researches aha, idk Fauve's vibes felt pretty natural and logical after Gris was done.

short muse introduction here. moon taeho, 24 y/o. university student at jeju national uni and also part times as a barback at 88&. he's a resident in yuseong bay (for now anyway) because the rent is much cheaper than in jeju city (also for now help) so it just made sense in his head to move in here even with the extra cost of transportation than to stay in the city, so he sort of just moved in with a roommate! he studies early childhood education because he wants to be a kindergarten teacher or work in a daycare (is actually looking for an internship somewhere right now so pls root for him 🙏🙏🙏). here is his profile and here is his pinterest!

answer the following prompts, either ooc or ic!

when did your muse first arrive in yuseong bay? he arrived not so long ago on march of this year! taeho is actually from daegu and at first moved to jeju city because that's where he decided to go to university to, he has been been in jeju city for about two years (this is his third) before moving to yuseong bay. his parents aren't the greatest at parenting (at least not with him) so he's in that transitional moment of trying to heal his inner child/needing some time away from them and going to jeju for university instead of a closer educational institution. however the rent in jeju city is wildly expensive even if it's a dorm room so he was thinking about moving in somewhere else a little cheaper to cut off expenses. even then it still took him a while to find someone that was thinking the same as him and he finally took that last step to move out and here we are.

what does an average day look like for your muse? he usually wakes up at around 6:30 to 7am (when he doesn't hear his alarm) to do the bare minimum tattoo skincare (as in wash his face and put some sunscreen) and then have some breakfast, get ready to university and then he spends four to five hours seeking higher education. then he usually just goes back home for lunch to either do chores around home (or goes out to do house chores like grocery shopping/get a new shower because his broke, etc etc), assignments or simply to take a nap and eat something before starting his shift at 88&; unless it's monday, wednesday or friday, then he goes to the recreational center to work out for around one hour to two hours before going home to prepare for his shift. taeho does his shift and then goes back home for the night, still prob tries to catch up on an episode or two of any anime he's watching (and then proceeds to regret it the morning after) before going to bed.

where can your muse usually be found? he's a little of a homebody tbh so it's somewhat hard to see him out of the house unless he has something to do or a friend dragged him out, but if he's feeling adventurous, you could prob find in at andante cafe in the afternoon trying to finish some assignment while having some coffee and a little sweet treat, or the recreation center getting his weekly workout, or on either pierrot's lanes to try out some of the retro arcades or even the memoire antique shop simply to check if someone dropped any old mangas that he might be interested in, very unlikely, but it's something to get him out of the house, so.

how does your muse feel about hanhwa resort? he's surprisingly neutral about it. taeho does think it's a pity and bad that the local community are losing their space in their own hometown — either because of the higher and higher prices and because the resort is so obviously trying to own it in a way —, but he also sort of thinks it's inevitable considering capitalism how the world is; sort of only hopes that his rent will remain cheaper than the his dorm room in jeju city at least until he graduates and most likely will move out somewhere else or he gets his internship/a job that gets him a little more money than the one he has now.

is there an aspiration for your muse to stay in or leave yuseong bay? taeho has always seen yuseong bay as the place cheaper than jeju city that he's going to live until he gets his degree. even though he does enjoy the more quiet life (and despises the bad reception even if it gives him an excuse to not call his parents/to not answer their rare calls), i feel like he's a city boy through and through. he can get used to a life there if the need arises (like him getting a job/internship there, or anything like that), but i don't think that he wants to. however he isn't picky nor has this goal of living in a specific place in the end, so i guess in a way if he stays or not in yuseong bay after he gets his degree is sort of a mystery.

describe your muse’s wardrobe. one word: basic. he's very very very basic. jeans and a tshirt, usually slightly oversized/loose for comfort, in simple colors — nothing too bright (and god forbid neon) but he still wears colors —, simple patterns, simple prints; if he's feeling a little bolder, he'll bring out his anime tshirts. since he has tattoos, he usually is always wearing a shirt or a jacket over his tshirt to hide them (or expose them if he's feeling "safe") since sometimes he does get a little more attention because of them and he just would rather not.

what is a color, word, and emoji that you feel describes your muse? sky blue, diligence, 😑

three strong likes and dislikes for your muse. really likes anime, homemade food, coffee / really dislikes spicy food, being the center of attention in a crowded room/space, things done halfassedly.

three positive and negative traits for your muse. positive diligent, generous, well-mannered / negative critical, reticent, stubborn

three talents and shortcomings for your muse. talents is great with kids and with handcraft things, can fall asleep anywhere at anytime / shortcomings is stubborn in his ways even if it's proven it's not the best way, always pushes himself a little too hard/is too hard on himself, can't ask for help even when he needs to

what is a book/tv series/movie/video game character that you feel your character relates to? nanami kento from jujutsu kaisen and somewhat sakusa kiyoomi from haikyuu.

a relevant goal or arch for your character to overcome. taeho has a huge issue with his parents because they were pretty negligent with him but he still searches for their approval/validation/attention anyway and it'd be nice for him to realize that they won't ever really give it to him, not the same way that he does with his younger brother that is so obviously the favorite son, and not be to hung up on it and instead pay more attention to the people that genuinely care for him in his life + having a little more of self worth/love instead of just allowing himself to be taken for granted by others.

extra bits !

his parents obviously had him when they weren't prepared for it and it so obviously show. they aren't the best parents since they don't know how to interact with a kid (even more so when it's their own son) and so they were never close to each other from the start, but at least they tried even if they just ended up treating him as an older kid than he actually was.

things don’t get better when his younger brother is born as the apple of his parents’ eyes, a child that came when they actually wanted one and used the excuse that he was born with a sick body to give him more attention than to taeho (but then things didn’t change when his little brother got healthy later on).

so he learned how to be an adult a little too soon and how to look after himself; surprisingly he doesn’t really resent neither his parents nor his brother for it and he does love them dearly, would die and kill for them, even if the relationship with his parents is still awkward at best.

was always the epitome of the good kid™ (and still is tbh), always well-mannered and too worried about getting good grades and behaving/not causing trouble to really enjoy being just a kid. he was always too quiet to really make a lot of friends growing up.

as much as he just wanted to chill throughout his school years, he still ended up class president more than once and almost if not all of his group assignments he ended up as the group’s leader because at the end of the day he’s very critical and methodical about things, esp academic work, so he ends up taking charge just so things will be up to his standards. he also has very dependable vibes so people end up relying on him a lot too so in the end he does end up in positions of leadership even if the i in his mbti wants otherwise.

characteristics that he carries with himself to this day. hence why new semester is yet another broken promise that he’ll just chill in group tasks and agree with everything.

did his military service right after graduating high school because the tensions were only getting higher in his house since he started trying to demand more attention to his parents that obviously didn't know/won't give to him and one of them suggested that this would be a good thing for him, that they'd be proud of a son that didn't try to "procrastinate" his civil duties so of course he goes.

which was an experience that gave him a lot to think about his relationship with his parents so when he was done, he wasn't quite ready to go back home yet so he tries an university away from them and that's how he ends in jeju national university.

is a big— huge anime fan, has collections of mangas (that he never completes/drops midway through and reads on the shounen jump app instead), has three tattoos about shows that he enjoys/watches; but is also very lowkey about the merch that he wears/uses (i.e. wearing a sports shirt from an anime team to work out) that makes small references to what he watches, very iykyk thing.

seriously i'm so fucking angry and frustrated. i don't know how many more times i'll have to say it and i'm tired of being nice about it and giving y'all who keep asking the benefit of the doubt.

i feel like i've made it abundantly clear that i'll give you proper "warning" when the chapter is coming out. and until then- stop fucking pressuring me. even if it's not your intention it comes across as that. i'm not a fucking machine and i have a fucking life

i would've really liked go get out a march update but as it is. i just don't have the time to write right now. i haven't in two weeks. because i had exams while simultaneously having to figure out where to fit in a 400 hours internship (which is basically a full time UNPAID job for four months) alongside uni full time and work part time. you do the math for me how i'm supposed to do that PLUS still find the time or energy to write.

i also have a concert coming up on sunday - which happens to be my "free" weekend. my second "free" weekend that i had this month i spent rehearsing for said concert.

so as you can see.

I DONT HAVE ANY FUCKING TIME

you try fitting in 30k chapters into that - or even just 5k chapters. if you can figure it out. please do tell me what kind of sorcery it takes. and if not-

unless you come with a fucking pay check and health insurance. STOP ASKING!!!!

Today was an ordinary Tuesday. I worked and went to uni, since I'm Covid free now. There, me and my friend worked on our Importation presentation, which is due Thursday and I will finish tomorrow (hopefully!)

Picked up a new reading, Emma, by Jane Austen, and I expect to read a good part of it until the end of the month, so I can watch the movie adaptation on Netflix before they take it down.

Good point of today: I was feeling absolutely beautiful!!!! Bad point of today: I got a little cold, because I forgot my jacket.

hello friends from faraway! i'm on time because guess what... i'm done with my assignments (for now)! finally 😭😭😭

quite literally underestimated second semester to be much easier and less busy than first semester... oh how horribly wrong i was. the mount of assignments is no joke. more classes and more professors mean more presentations i have to do. but do not worry your girl is always on top of everything and is proud to say i've always finished my assignments long before the deadline. this proven can be a double edged sword kind of thing - my profs have very high expectations on me and many times i'm picked to be the first to present or to teach the class 🧍‍♀️ the most hilarious thing about this was that some profs keep asking me whether i come from prestigious universities (Ul, UGM, Unpad etc) whenever i was able to answer their questions accordingly, and the shock on their faces when i told them i came from a private uni 😭😂 this happened three times and to me it's a very interesting experience to observe...

the double edged sword being that i remember my mum saying i could be a 'target' and that naturally people will 'latch' onto me - and she wasn't wrong. there were occasions where i bear the burden having to explain everything to everyone because the prof deemed me capable to replace her to teach, or having a classmate that keeps asking me gazillion things about our assignments when it was already explained clearly beforehand, and the worst of all is having someone copy my work (i can't say no because i'm the youngest, remember...) i did not literally spent hours every day reading textbooks and journals for this individual to copy paste what i've written in just a few secs!? well thankfully i can be more assertive these days and tell them i do not accept to be treated this way, and it was resolved quickly... but you see, my mum is right. i'm the target 🤪

but other than that school is fun. i love learning new things. i feel like i've found the thing i'm interested the most because instead of getting scared about new things now i kinda become more intrigued and excited! still have my anxious, overthinking self popping in here and there, but i've adjusted to it. here i feel like your surrounding really does shape you, in a way now i'm in an environment where curiosity and the thirst to chase answers are highly appreciated, so i become one who questions almost everything. everyone is always prepared, with knowledge on one hand and experience on the other, so i act just as such. at my prev uni all those didn't matter much so i did feel like my mind was dulled and dimmed back then...

in the same note, this month i finally get to experience a class with a 'unique' prof, a different kind... i don't mean it in a negative undertone but he is thought provoking, if i may say. his way of teaching is like tiptoeing on thin ice and free diving at the same time, every meeting leaves an impression, an indent in my mind for sure 😂 but i must add he is very smart, has unfaltering integrity, and i respect him for that. definitely a very interesting persona and a cool lecturer! will study about preadjusted Edgewise system under his supervision, excited to start because this is the most commonly used bracket system these days.

also March this year is special because of Ramadan is here! when Ramadan started thankfully i've done 1/3 of my assignments so they didn't interfere with my prayers. what it did is mess up my sleep schedule 😂 some of my classes start at 7 AM and lasts through until 12 PM, and the lot of us could barely stopped ourselves from falling asleep at class 😭 but anyways i pulled through and made a Ramadan special schedule where i have to stop working by 6 PM, the rest of the night is for prayers and Quran reading. and no matter how exhausted i am, i will always try to go to the mosque and do 23 rakaah of taraweeh prayers. at the mosque near my house it lasted from 7-10 PM... sometimes i feel like my feet is about to fall off or that my body is too tired, but then i remember i could literally spend almost 12 hours to queue and see coldplay back at Singapore so now how could i even dare not to spend 3 hours to see Allah? that's an instant energy boost for sure 🥺

midway Ramadan, we had our first ever orthodontics dept gathering for break fasting! the tricky part of this was that my year had to prepare a performance, and can you imagine all of us swamped by assignments and fasting, yet we still have to rehearse a performance!? 😂 as per usual i became the class' ghost coordinator - if it weren't for me pushing my classmates around to do things they won't do it lol and so finally we came up with a simple choreo and kak Omi's husband provided us a song to dance to. the performance wasn't really a success as expected hahaha but our profs and seniors said they appreciated the effort 🤪 syncing our moves was so hard but oh well we tried!

at the end of March, i got to meet the barudaks - Dimas/Aria/Kanti/Syifa and it's our new group name lol it was 4/4 before 😂 the weirdest mismatched bunch from senior high school that somehow became my closest friends... well that tends to happen when reality lumped you in lol. this time we celebrated Kanti's bday and her return from her internship at Maluku. had a potluck and everyone had to bring food with their initials as the first letter of its name, i brought (s)iomay! spent 5 hours playing at Aria's house and just talk about anything from job to love life, playing Nintendo Switch, it was so much fun i love laughing a lot with them!

oh boy March has been quite eventful! halfway done with second semester, can you believe it!? i feel like as i get older time somehow moves faster, i'm now about to prepare to enter my clinical years starting in third semester... more exciting things to come! will visit Bali twice (Menjangan at May 20-22 for huge ortho dept gathering and social charities, then Denpasar at September 19-21 for Indonesian Association of Orthodontist annual meeting) and other seminars 🤩🤩

right now we're entering the last 10 days of Ramadan and i'm feeling emotional as usual because how can it end so fast!? i feel like i haven't done much this time. so much rain these days and i can only keep reciting my prayers... may Allah grants us the chance to see Ramadan again next month 🙏🏻

Oh, these are so nice goals! Good luck with your masters and getting a new therapist! :) Drawing is so cool too, I'm always so amazed by every set you make which is not the "traditional" gif-set (I'm not sure about the proper term; gfx maybe?). You are insanely talented and I hope you'll find a lot of fun in drawing :)

I honestly don't have a lot of goals or anything I want to achieve... I graduated this week from uni so I'm mostly just relaxing and trying to get out of the school-mental state that I have been... like waking up every day thinking I need to do stuff quickly because I have to study later... except I don't because I no longer have school :D So I'm working on this... And catching up on stuff I missed, starting tv shows, finishing them, reading, etc :)

I hope I can get a big girl job this year. I currently have a student/part-time job, but since I just graduated I can only work as a student until March. Although I plan to go back to school in September to get another bachelor's, so even if I don't manage to get the big girl job until then, I can just get another part-time job in September :) I have a lot of money saved up since I still live with my parents so I'm not too worried about potentially not having a job. It would just be nice, but we will see :) I was thinking of learning a new language but I'm not sure how serious I am about this (I get this urge every like 3 months but never really do anything about it), and I was thinking of working out as well! And that's all, I think. I'm just waiting for Jin in June, then Hobi in October, then 2025 :) And trying to stay busy while we reach those months :)

2023 quick recap before I lock myself with the cat in the bathroom and drink untill new year's eve tomorrow. 🥂

In January I made a whole series inspired by tbhyouarelame's #dnf fanfic "Helium" and used it for uni classes. And my professor loved it even though he didn't have the slightest idea about what's the inspiration was.

I failed an exam for the first time in my life, went to watch a movie and got back to studying.

I have no idea what I did in February but probably read a lot of dnf and painted for uni.

In March I got #vld obsession because of @ikimaru.jpg comics. Watched it maybe twice and read a lot fanfictions while drawing Keith Kogane all over my desk.

Found a lot of great artist to follow in April and tried to finish an old "Heatwaves" project.

Started working on my graduation project in May (which is so late) and after leaving my social life to die I graduated in June. Yes, finally free. (actually considered them studying digital arts for a while but then I realised I'm broke and can't afford it.)

In July I used my now free time to bingewatch all of one piece's new episodes and obsess over LawLu untill the end of the year.

In August I found a great job as a teacher and showed all my students (that are like 7-9yo) how to draw Trafalgar Law.

I participated in inktober and after I overcame my constant need to quit it I finished it and I'm proud.

November and December went by making Christmas cards for the kids and some stuff I still haven't posted.

I thought I haven't done anything this year but oh well... I guess I've been wrong. 😚🍄

I wish you all to celebrate new years eve with your close ones, have fun and don't forget to be like a mushroom: pretty but poisonous. 🥂🥳

Can't wait for USA to start bombing the shit out of Brazil because we're having a Nazi resurgence in the south states such as recently having a congressman go on a """free speech""" podcast and talk about how there should be a official Nazi political party.

Also, aren't the same people using denazification the same ones who just until January would shit their pants and get in a definition and empty moral fight about "punch a Nazi" platitudes and that Antifa calling themselves "anti fascist" doesn't mean they don't display or have authoritarian and negative behaviour associated with fascism? I'm just ranting at this point, but damn people really don't what their own principles and what to believe at this point eh?

I specifically wrote that post because of this.

Listen, I don't like Azov or similar formations, however their existence and what they're doing is Ukrainian problem. Not Russian. The only thing other countries have to do is to state their opinions or forbid certain organizations on their own territory - which Russian already did in the past.

Russia never cared about neonazis - their own or not. They are saying to themselves that "we defeated the Nazis", as if this makes them innocent and always right (btw, Soviet propaganda barely ever called them Nazis, only fascists - because how can socialists call their mortal enemies nationalist socialists? And Russia continued this tradition). They barely talk about horrors that Nazis committed, and when they do - only to say how they are good and heroic. WW2 for them is not a bloody massacre that took away millions of lives and changed the world and how it operates forever, for them it's a story about how good Russians (not mentioning that Red Army had people of various ethnicities, this was only remembered by authors who saw the war itself) saved the day and how the rest of the world in ungrateful to them.

Also, the post I linked. "Ukraine sided with axis".. Excuse me? Ukraine was a part of USSR as Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. And Moscow let Nazis go wild on Ukrainian land, because of inadequate response to the invasion. Most of Ukrainian territory was occupied by Nazis, and they did whatever the fuck they wanted here, including burning down villages, murdering people, trafficking them to Germany (my own great grandmother had to fake being sick with syphilis and cover herself in bandages, so that German soldiers were too disgusted to verify, and this rendered her unfit for manual labor in Germany). I believe they are referring to UPA and Bandera, but for what I know history there is more complicated and there's actually a chance that they didn't side with Nazis, but I'll return to this topic when I'll do my research (and I don't have mental resources to dig it right now). And anyway, they were a relatively small group on the west of the country, that btw modern Russian propaganda doesn't even recognize as Ukraine, but as "Stalin's gifts to Ukraine".

Anyway, most of Ukrainians aren't Nazis, neo or not. Nationalists do have parties, but their support is so tiny that even united, they didn't get enough votes to get to parliament. And their existence, again, doesn't fucking justify what bullshit Russia is doing right now. As it was said, we elected a Jewish comedian as our president, and Russian propaganda calls him a Nazi.

What Russia tries to do now has nothing to do with fighting nazism anyway. They're doing good old imperialism, including "divide and conquer" part - that's why those so-called republics appeared in the first place, and Russia fueled that conflict for 8 years. And now they are aiming at destroying the government and putting there their own puppet president (Kadyrov, this terrorist with armed gangs, already asked Zelensky to step back and let "legit Ukrainian president Yanukovich" rule, you know, that one that has spent in Russia last 8 years and who asked back then for Russian military intervention). They did it with Georgia in 2008, same with Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. They want Ukraine to either be divided in a bunch of "republics" that only have humanitarian catastrophe and are completely dependent on Russia, or be a puppet state like Belarus now (fuck Lukashenko; btw, he also calls his political opponents nazis, including labeling own Belarusian flag that was official flag from 1991 to 1995, a nazi symbol... sounds familiar?). Putin is imperialistic madman.

Basically, I'm just really-really angry at those people. They suck imperial cock and call themselves anarchists, on top of that.

(slight trigger warning? nothing explicit uh mentions of me being a bit. um. insane? and not very nice to myself) ok so i'm watching this video on why u could potentially be irritated all the time bcs for the past two months or so i've been like "oh it's just rlly, rllyy bad pms" but i just finished my period like a week ago so it makes no sense?? anyways, the guy in this video is like: u consume too much caffeine, ur burnt out, there's too much load on u, ur a perfectionist, u haven't exercised in months, ur bottling up too many negative emotions, u don't sleep enough, ur always staring at a screen and also u r not normal if u constantly feel this shit and i'm just blinking at my screen, called out, embarrassed and also,,, irritated. i mean honestly, i don't rlly know how to sort myself out. bcs of stupid fucking covid all of my exams were squashed in the time frame of october/november to may/june. i've had four sets of exams; think about it. i started prepping in september, finished my exams end october; had to complete my syllabus AND study in november, give mids in december; study, reconcile, try not to off myself; mocks in february/march and finally, my actual fucking high-school exams from the end of april to mid june. like?? when. when do i have time to be like, "hey, i should work out", any free time i have is invested in curling up into a ball in bed and blocking out the world with fucking rex orange county or watching some stupid netflix show to fill the void. i haven't met up with any of my friends in months; i went to dinner with my cousin yesterday and all i could think about is how fucked i am for my exam in 5 days. my parents and teachers and peers have this fucked up little idea of me in their heads where its like, "oh vera? she gets A*s" and i have to remind everyone that, that was me in middle school and i actually got 2 C's in my mocks bcs i'm a fucking donkey. apparently, i'm just not trying hard enough and i have no drive/desire to make something of myself. i wake up between 4-5 am to talk to my girlfriend and sleep by 11pm - 12am bcs sleeping means i have to wake up tmrrw and repeat the whole fucking process because every day is exactly the same and i'm running out of things to feel happy about. hurrah, it might rain; oh wow my desk looks so nice in the sun today; i love eating the same type of pasta for 2 weeks!! like its been over 6 months and i'm fucking sick of my life. i consume caffeine to feel okay ish for 2 hours before i crash bcs i can't stay awake anymore; i get out of bed and i want to get right back in. the other day i slammed my head across my desk bcs i couldn't memorise my flashcards and it felt like something i probably would never have ever done but hey, i couldn't open my mouth for two days without wincing and it hurt like a bitch. so. there. and all i want is for it to be june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. june 10th. and i can finally. finally. finally what. what will i do when i'm finally free. i'll lie down in the pool and let the underwater charlie brown voices of my parents lull me to sleep because, hey vera, you did a good job. we're fucking proud of you. rest up because you still have college and uni and life. and life. and life. and i might sink a little and let the water fill my nose and my mouth and let it choke me and feel my hair swirl around and wrap itself around my neck and my limbs and feel myself get dragged lower and lower and i'll open my eyes and be trapped in blue, enclosing, suffocating blue forever. right, anywayss, now i'm off to finish a physics practice paper and then stare at myself in the mirror until my eyes stop blurring over. <3

Hi folks!

You might have noticed my frequency of posts dropping quite rapidly over the past weeks. This has a few reasons.

1) I've been insanely busy with uni stuff

2) I've been working on fics for different fandoms

3) I've noticed myself falling away of sorts when it comes to Squid Game itself, as well as a decline in interactions regarding this fandom

Because of this, I'm announcing a hiatus on this blog that will start around the end of March, 2022. This is to both focus on my studies as well as on different fandoms I'm part of, since I've been neglecting them during the time I was solely focused on Squid Game.

As of now, I've got a handful of fics already written and ready to be published - a few ABC's of intimacy and two smut fics. I'll post these fics during this month and March, so it will be spread out a bit.

I want to thank each and every one of you for all your positive feedback and all the love I've been showered with. I couldn't have done it without all of you! You are all amazing and I love you so much!

I might be back on writing for Squid Game once season 2 drops, or once I find my love for this fandom again through any other means.

-Eldritch Monster AU! Hermits are all Lovecraftian horrors who all individually decided that they wanted to pretend to be normal and are all trying to hide their otherworldliness. I also feel like Mumbo or X or someone as the one actually "normal" player on the server would work well. Most hermits don't know that everyone else isn't normal either, but some find out about friends maybe.

-Rabid Debate Club AU :: Random weird au idea where it's basic hs/uni au but like two of them try to start a debate club, then invite some friends just so there's enough people; cut to like two months later, it's all the hermits just fighting over whether or not pineapple should go on pizza or not lol it isn't very good i'm sorry but ya know rabid debate club AU.

-Animal/shapeshifting AU :: (Suggested Twice.) Every hermit can shapeshift into one token animal. (If it's something like "dog," they can only turn into one breed and color of dog, EXAMPLE: doc can shift into a black sable belgian malinois, but not anything else.)

-Wedding Planners AU :: Hermits work in various unrelated businesses such as a bakery, flower shop, etc., but see each other semi-often bc they're semi-often called upon to work together by another hermit's wedding planning business (obvs if you couldn't tell i know absolutely nothing abt wedding planning & businesses n shit lol but it's the /concept/ of it yannknow)

-Adventure Time AU :: The hermits live in a post-apocalyptic world and the Lich (bad guy) is making everything decay. They need to gather all the gems (belt colours) to unlock the Enchiridion (a book) and have one wish each granted from Prismo (multiverse wish granting dude) before the Lich does. Only 4 elements can enter the multiverse: Slime (The Lich & Jevin), Redstone (Tango or Mumbo?), Ice (Stress), and Dirt (Grian, much to his dismay). Only the elementals can see the book. Grian's the protagonist with his sidekick Scar. He originally started collecting the belts because they were shiny but eventually decided to read the book and find out what they were for when Scar said he didn't see it. Doc, False, and Iskall are major obstacles because they don't believe the book exists.</p>

-Star Trek AU :: Like maybe they could be on one ship and each have different roles like engineers or doctors? I don’t know if this has been suggested but hope you enjoy! - 🐦

Xisuma - Making barriers, teleporting, and transforming into different mobs. Scar - Making mutant plants & boosting other hermits' attack & health. (-@datsaltyperson.)

-Demon AU :: Something enters the overworld and turns into a supernatural style-demon through Dimentional Distortion. Who gets posessed first, who goes crazy, and who actually kills it? Honestly I think that, if anything, Tango would know how to gank it, for obvious reasons. (-@fireflower-dusk.)

-High Street AU :: Everyone owns a different shop on the same street or some run a shop together (-@violets-arepurple.)

-Cat AU :: Either they're were always cats, or Hels turned everyone, including himself, into a cat, and they have to survive and overcome challenges in the Season 7 world. An example of a challenge would be Cub's a Sand Cat(the cats that always look like kittens no matter how old they are and live in deserts), and everyone's not sure if he can actually swim, so they have to find a way for him to get around without involving water. -How about a secret AU.. Every hermit has their big secrets and when Grian joined. He doesn't really know anything about those secrets even till season 7. Not many hermits talked to him in S6 anyway.. Mumbo was the closest to him so they would have regular chats For Iskall is mostly business related things Grian wants to know why so he set out on a quest to force the others to at least talk to him so he wouldn't be lonely. -Hermit Family AU :: Xisuma is very busy dad but when he isnt busy the kids and younger hermits annoying the hell out of him. Grian once asked to use Xisuma's computer and crashed the whole thing trying to download illegal gamesites and get money off the internet. Mumbo and his trains run through the entire house and Xisuma trips on them daily. (-@gamerutx.)

Legally Blonde 7: Take it Like a Man

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader

Summary: Just a legally blonde AU with you starring as Elle Woods. Based on both the movie and musical.

Bucky throws his case file onto the table and rips off his tie while sitting down. You try to hold back your tears as you lean against the table next to him.

“Bucky, I’m sorry.”

“I don’t need you to be sorry, I need you to tell me the alibi.” He’s exasperated and he’s directing it at you even though the majority of it wasn’t because of you. He knows that he’ll regret it later but right now it can’t be helped.

“Well I can’t because I gave Natasha my word. Having an alibi is not the only way to win this case.”

“No but it sure would help!”

“Work with me, we can free Natasha the right way, the noble way.”

“This is not a lifetime original movie Y/n. I’m not interested in nobility right now, I’m more interested in saving her life!”

“No you’re not! You’re more interested in impressing Pierce.”

“Well he is my boss if I impress him, he’s gonna make me associate.”

“By jeopardizing your clients trust in our integrity!” Bucky is left speechless at that and scoffs while trying to find words to say.

“Well when you put it that way.”

“Exactly! You butthead.” You shove his shoulder and go back to casually leaning on the table, getting out of your defensive stance. “My word means something, and I know yours does too.”

“No one’s called me butthead since the third grade.”

“Maybe not to your face.” You both hold eye contact with serious faces before breaking into laughter. “C’mon let’s get outta here.” You lead the way out of the building and to your car which you both arrived in together.

“Why do you always have to be right?”

“I don’t have to be when I’m with you I just am.” You start to drive off once you're both situated in the car.

“Where are we going?” Bucky asks when you miss the turn to go to your dorm.

“You wanna impress Pierce? I can help.”

“Okay, how?” You park the car and turn to look at him, placing a hand on his shoulder.

“Listen, I love your scruffy vibe but casual Friday isn’t in Pierce’s vocabulary. You gotta look the part if you wanna get ahead.”

“Didn’t your mother ever teach you about not judging a book by its cover.” Bucky gets out and begins to follow you.

“She did but I also know that books with tattered covers stay on the shelf.” Once your at the entrance you turn to face him.

“Oh thanks a lot.”

“This isn’t a perfect world. You think I haven’t been judged my whole life, you think it wasn’t a good idea to make navy my new pink?”

“No, that was a good idea.”

“I know.”

“Where are we exactly?”

“You trust me don’t you?” Your tone suddenly turns serious and Bucky begins to get suspicious.

“Of course.”

“Then don’t stop now.” You both enter in and Bucky stops as he looks around. “Welcome to a department store. Take a deep breath and let it all in Buck.” Bucky looks at you when you use a nickname you’ve never used before. “Do you smell the pure oxygen they pump in? It’s because they care.”

“Love?” A worker comes up to Bucky and his head snaps to her thinking she's talking about them.

“Excuse me?”

“Love, the new fragrance from Chanel.” She goes to spray it on him but Bucky stops her once he gets a whiff of it.

“No thank you.”

“Think of the people you want to impress. I need you to swallow your pride for me Bucky, and just nod yes to me.” You start with trying a new tie on him. “Here you’ll become what you’re supposed to be, you think you can’t but you can. Think of the guy you want to be, this is your chance to make it, so take it like a man.” Bucky fixes his collar and the tie knot to how tight he wants it while you go speak to one of the workers.

Bucky can’t help but wonder what you want or why you guys can’t leave things the way that they were. He also can’t help but wonder why he can never say no to you while he walks over to you and the attendant. “What’s that smell?”

“Subtext by Calvin Klein.” A different attendant hands Bucky a sample of it before leaving.

“Alright, I’m gonna show you different shirts and you just tell me what you think.” The first shirt he sees is a blue one.

“That I don’t like.” A plain white shirt is next. “That’s kind of neat.” Bucky takes that one and under it is a shirt with a pink, white, and black geometric pattern. “Guys who wear that get beat up on my street.” You giggle at his comment before taking the shirt out of his hand and walking away. Bucky knows that he’s in your hands and that he can’t try to retreat into his shell now. You come back to him and show him a coat jacket and he nods and smiles at it. You push him to a changing room for him to try everything on.

“God, I love shopping for guys and watching them change right before my eyes.”

“Don’t watch me change.” Bucky sticks his head out and you wave your hand at him in a dismissive manner.

“Your confidence is gonna grow, you’ll bloom like a rose.”

“Okay, this is nice.” He's referencing how you’re taking care of him. “Is this the price?”

“Don’t worry this is my treat. Now, there’s someone I’d like you to meet.” You have him come out and stand in front of a mirror with you.

“Whoa.” You both speak at the same time.

“I look like Steve.”

“Yeah.”

“But it’s just me.”

“That’s the best part. The outside is new just now it reflects what’s already in you. I couldn’t change that if I wanted to. And I do not.”

“Thank you.”

“No, thank you. This is no gift, it’s payment in kind because you saw beyond all the blonde to my mind. We’ve got to buy this. What are you, blind. You look hot! You’ve become the guy you’re meant to be. Go get changed and I’ll go pay.”

Bucky can’t help but think of how this isn’t quite the guy he would’ve chosen to be. When he has you standing next to him so close he thinks he likes your plan. He’s glad he took it like a man when you hug him out by the car.

You’re sitting patiently as Wanda paints your nails before the trial. “I love this classy lawyer pink you chose Y/n. When those jury people see your nails, they’ll just know that they can trust you.”

“Which is more than what the team is doing. They are all over me to give up Natasha’s alibi.”

“Even including your friend, Bucky?” Wanda puts emphasis on friend trying to hint at the feelings you both have for each other.

“Well he’s on the team too.”

“Ya, and in more ways than one.” Wanda mutters under her breath and screws the cap onto the polish. “Are you sure you don’t want me to paint little gavals on them?”

“That’s fine Wanda, I think that might be a bit too much. And don’t think I didn’t hear you, Bucky is just my friend.”

“Well I could sure use a friend like that.” Right after she says that the delivery man that comes by so often walks in the door.You nudge Wanda's foot under the table to get her to look.

“I’ve got a package. Where’s Wanda Maximoff?”

“Oh my god.” Wanda whispers while whipping around to fce you instead of him.

“He’s coming over here.”

“Hey there, name’s Sam I’ve got a package for you. Kinda cool karma isn’t it?” Wanda freezes and you tap her on her shoulder to get her to snap out of it. When that doesn’t work Sam turns to you to sign for her. Wanda just sits there stuck staring at him and offers up a smile. “How ya doin’ today?”

“Fine.” Sam then leans down and places the box at Wanda’s feet while keeping eye contact.

“Take it easy.” Sam then struts out of the building.

“Maybe you’ll get a friend sooner rather than later.”

“Oh, come on, I can barely talk to him. I’ve got nothing to offer and he’s like walking porn.”

“Oh, please you have the right equipment, you just need to read the manual. Here, I’ll show you a little maneuver that my mom taught me in junior high. In my experience it has a ninety eight percent success rate of getting a man's attention and, when used appropriately, it has eighty three percent rate of return on a dinner invitation.”

“Wow.”

“It’s called the bend and snap.” You stand up and go into the middle of the room to show her. “I think I dropped something on the floor that I need to pick up. So you bend down and snap! See?” Wanda nods at you and you wave your hand to get her to get up. “Come on. You try it.” Wanda tries to do it and doesn’t have it down which is okay. “A little less bend, a little more snap.”

You eventually get everyone in the salon to start to do the bend and snap. “Good job everybody!”

“Oh my god the bend and snap! Works every time!” Peter Quill, a hair stylist comes out of the back to see everyone doing it.

You hang out at the salon until Wanda is done with work and then go to her place for a few hours. By the time you leave to walk home it’s starting to get dark.

“I called your room last night.” You see Thor talking to two girls and as you pass you can hear their conversation.

“I heard.”

“I was thinking maybe we could go out sometime.”

“No. You’re a dork who’s always going off about a mythology no one cares about.” The girls both laugh and you pause.

“I’m in law school.”

“Look, I'm not gonna go out with you. I can’t believe you’d even ask. Girls like me don’t go out with losers like you.” Your heart hurts at how she’s talking to the biggest softie you’ve ever met. “Let’s get out of here.”

“Excuse me.” You turn around and march up to Thor and slap him. “Why didn’t you call me?”

“What?”

“We spent a beautiful night together, and then I never hear from you again?”

“I…” Thor looks at the two girls and then back to you. “I’m sorry?”

“Sorry for what? For breaking my heart, or for giving me the greatest pleasure I’ve ever known and then just taking it away?”

“Uh, both?”

“Well forget it. I’ve already spent too many hours crying over you.” You then turn and walk away with a smile on your face as you hear the girl ask him when he wanted to go out.

“And where was she exactly?” The other lawyer asks Lila, Clint Barton's daughter.

“Standing over my father’s dead body.”

They pull the pool boy to the stand next.

“Mr. Wilson, can you tell us what this is?” She holds a thong out to show him.

“My uniform.”

“This is the uniform that Mrs. Barton asked you to wear while cleaning her pool?”

“Yes.”

“And are you or are you not having an affair with Natasha Barton?”

“Define affair.”

“Have you and Mrs. Barton had sexual relations?”

“Yes. Okay? Yes.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, court will reconvene tomorrow morning at nine A.M. We’re adjourned.” Natasha stands up angry and turns to talk to you.

“You know a Delta Nu would never sleep with a man who wears a thong.”

“Never!”

“I just liked watching him clean the filter.” The police guard starts to pull Natasha to the door.

“I know.”

“Take care of me Y/n.”

“I will.”

If you don't mind me asking, are you still in contact with your twin flame? I was 19 when I met my twin flame (i'm pretty sure he is but could be wrong) and I wasn't ready for how extreme it was and haven't hung out with him since going to uni. I'm going to graduate March next year and move back home and I'm not sure whether I should start up a friendship again. Are you meant to stay with your tf forever or do you move on at some point? After you ascend are you meant to stay together?

“Still” isn’t really applicable since phases of communication/contact/”union” tend to cycle in and out for twins, but yes, I have been in casual contact with my twin for close to two months now after four months of separation. I actually met my twin when I was almost 16, but I didn’t “ascend” and start the so-called “journey” until we were in sustained contact for like a month when I was 22 after being separated for 5 years, and we’ve been cycling for these past three years.

Questioning whether someone is your twin is normal, especially after finding the inner wholeness that you are meant to achieve on the “spiritual path,” but if you’re relating to what I’m saying, I think it’s safe to assume. Twins kind of just KNOW that they met their twin (if you are the awakened/positive polarity at least), but the ego will often get in the way and try to create some kind of checklist or doubt patterns, which subsides again when you’re in your wholeness and truth.

In any case, most people aren’t “ready” for how wild the experience really is, but their soul was, and that’s why you met. The only purpose of meeting your twin flame is to basically catapult you into ascension. Beyond that, it’s just a significant spiritual connection, and it’s not necessary at all to actually be together. “Union” with your twin is not the goal here, and you have not failed or done something wrong if either you or your twin doesn’t choose that. Regardless of your physical reality, the connection will always be there as well as your wholeness. Although, reunion is kind of inevitable if you’ve truly achieved a state of wholeness, and that’s when the universe steps in to allow “union.” I’ve seen it change life situations and circumstances when it’s ready to happen.

Everyone has free will, though! When your twin returns, you get to choose whether you want to be with them, but we never get to choose whether it’s forever in any kind of relationship. If you choose to be with them, you have to take it one step at a time. All attachment and expectation has to be released, otherwise that energy of lack will be reflected and result in separation, but as long as you are whole on your own, any relationship (even with your twin) can last.

And if you choose not to be with your twin, that’s perfectly alright. I really don’t believe there is a point where you “move on” from your twin, though, because they ARE you! You are the same being, the same soul polarized into two bodies, so they’re always going to be a part of you no matter who you are with or what you choose to do with your life separate from theirs. Like I said, no matter the circumstances, the connection is always there, and you always have a choice!
