D: this is a dog blog. It's all dog aesthetics because it's about dogs. Specifically mostly about my dogs. Specifically mostly about my doberman Creed who died in 2021 and it was too painful for me to continue trying to exclusively be a dog blog while I grieved him so I started just posting about whatever was on my mind. Then I got a doberman again in 2022 and another a few months ago and started posting more just about my dogs unless I spot something interesting on my dash or in my tracked tags. There's nothing nefarious here because I'm all about my dogs because competition dog sports are a long-held special interest of mine and I used to be a professional dog trainer. Dogs were my job until early 2022. I got paid to think about nothing except dogs for close to a decade. I decided to blog about it and stopped when my reason for blogging about dogs died and I switched professions.

E: this type of ask being spread around is exactly why I'm quiet about what I do like sexually because I don't think it belongs on a dog blog but also because too many people are interested in completely ruining lives off of one bad faith take. No thank you. It was bad when the straights were doing it to us and it's still bad now when it's happening as an intra-community conflict. The only people who get to know what I like are people I fuck. If I'm talking about it on a public blog, safe to say it's not a sexual interest of mine. You can continue to make assumptions if you'd like but you're way off base.

Seb helmets: the long awaited sequel

Turkish GP 2021

a beautiful sea creature design to remind us to save our oceans. i personally really love the turtles

Singapore GP 2022

gorgeous neon rainbow on super light absorbent black design. now it can be said with finality (as of yet): jens munser and sebastian vettel never missed when it was about helmets in singapore. i have a keychain of this helmet so I'm especially fond of it.

British GP 2022

ngl i cried a bit just from pulling those pictures up again. he is so loved. i love how even though we know barely anything about sebs family, this helmet shows so much personality from his kids and hanna. this is the most gorgeous helmet of them all. however, shoutout to the subtle nigel mansell design hed have driven with if his family hadn't made a secret birthday helmet for him.

Abu Dhabi 2022

I'm so so proud to be a fan of a driver who loves his fans. The few times I've met Seb, he's always taken his time - often more than allotted - to greet as many people as he could, pose for pictures sign things etc. He feels very genuine in showing his appreciation for his fans and so I think this helmet is a beautiful monument to the love people have for him. He is deeply beloved and in turn, he loves his fans and has shown this from his retirement message that was so much more personal than a press release, over the time between the announcement to his last race and beyond. This helmet is a testament to the way we love Seb and the way he loves us back.

USGP 2022

Peace and Love baby! this gorgeous woodstock inspired piece is incredibly gaudy and glittery and very unapologetically so. i love it deeply but opinions were very split on it

Japan 2022

a very cleverly done thank you to helmet provider arai. who doesn't love opening packages? especially one as beautiful as this one! it's a bit sad to not have the little ninja mascot on the helmet for sebs last f1 race in japan, however, with his 2022 helmet designs being so beautiful and elevated, he outgrew it a bit. important side note about japan 2022 here is sebs battle to the line with fernando alonso.

Hungary 2021

Let us remember this GP for the joy it brought and not the desperation that followed. Seb came, saw and served cunt in his rainbow sneakers, rainbow shirt, rainbow mask and rainbow helmet. He drove to the podium and nothing bad or terrible happened after.

Brazil 2022

the intertwined bars of the german and then, further up, the climate change flag (and the brazilian one on top) are reminiscent of the 2018 german gp helmet!

Austria 2022

The iconic bee helmet! I actually have a few pics of this one from the Austrian GP that i took myself. Even though that GP specifically sucked so hard it made Seb sway towards retiring, the helmet is beautiful and iconic.

here you go…why i think physical touch being one of their love languages is so beautiful

Physical touch is obviously something that is special for both of them. Toms said himself that it’s one of his love languages. I’m sure it was just as significant to them pre-2021 but now they’re displaying it in public it shows so many more meanings. it’s a public declaration of their closeness, love and relationship.

the first time we saw it in full force was the Louvre in 2022. such a casual and regular outing for any person visiting Paris yet they found every moment (and position) to hold hands/be close. it seemed ridiculous at times (hence the adoption of the term ‘pretzeling’) but came so naturally to them. this is their normal.

in terms of events, we’ve seen how they held hands to and from the Uncharted screening and leaving the MWH after party etc. for them it must be a huge sense of comfort to have your person by your side whilst navigating though a crowed of fans and paps all shouting for your attention. and we see with Tom acting as bodyguard he takes this idea very seriously. he’s not going to let anything happen to Z, no matter what. (also seen at Zs high school when harmless teenagers were touching her and he swooped in)

now the hip swipe. this is a personal fave. we’ve seen it three times in action now. Usher, the ice cream walk and the Dune 2 after party. to me, this is peak physical touch. Tom glides his hands so effortlessly and gently over her hips and Z holds little to no reaction. it’s such a simple yet intimate gesture that truly shows just how comfortable they are with each other. the lack of reaction from Z proves that this is a pretty regular move but the fact that we’ve only seen it a few times shows it isn’t usually a public one. just further showing the intimacy and closeness they have together.

i know we joke about how they are ‘sick and gross’ for how touchy feely they are all the time but i really think it shows so much about their love for each other and dynamic it’s actually beautiful.

At your 7 years you got to move from your country because your father got a job offer at Perth, Australia, you got to admin it was scary at first, moving from Peru to Australia was not easy especially when it was a different idiom, people, school, basically everything. Your mother died when you were 4, so it has been you and your dad only until you meet him.

Your dad was a mechanic engineer, and he was working at the Australia track when you meet him. 

It was a very hotness Wednesday when you were looking around for your dad since you got lost looking the other cars when suddenly him bumped you, a pretty boy with big brown eyes and a cheeky smile.

“Sorry, I didn’t see where I was going” 

“Sorry too, are you okey? ” he said cheking on you to see if you were fine

“Yep, I’m y/n by the way”

“I’m Daniel, nice to meet you” he said shaking hands with you “Come on, let’s go for some ice cream” 

Before you could answer he was already running and holding your hand, so you could follow him.

Since that you and him start to hang more and more becoming best friends, you attending to his races and him been for you in every broken heart.

2011

The truth was that Micheal want to call it quits since he saw how much time you spend with Daniel and you attending to the race and cancelling your date 3 days before was the straw that broke the camel's back. 

He told you that it was clear you and Daniel were in love, so he broke up with you, you didn’t agree with him saying that you got a thing for Daniel when it wasn’t he was your best friend that was all.

Now you weren’t dumb you knew what it meant, but it didn’t matter, today you decided to give it a shot and tell him after the race.

This past few weeks Daniel was the center of attention on the paddock but not for a good reason, everyone wanted to know where he was going to go or do after the news. Daniel started to push everyone, fake smiling all the time, there wasn’t that smile that you saw years ago anymore, he started to lose weight and cancelled to your friend dates.

“Daniel, talk to me” you beg, this week you found out Daniel wasn’t eating

“I am fine”

“No you’re not, you being skipping foods” 

“Just wasn’t hungry, that’s all”

“What about our Wednesdays of ice cream that you seem to skip now” you replied a little angry now

“Busy”

“Daniel Joseph Ricciardo stop it, I know you since we were 7, and I know you are not fine, and it’s okey not being fine sometimes” you said now hugging him

Max has won the Australia GP, and you’re at the hotel getting ready for the party when you heard a knock.

“Hi Dan” you said opening the door

“So I heard Lewis want to ask you out” he says while entering to the room.

What? Lewis? I mean he was cute, well hot, but you were more into a certain Australian “Really? Who you kn..” you couldn’t finish because you feel his lips against you. 

“Before you said anything I just want you to know I’ve always liked you, from the first moment I saw you at that Wednesday when we went to eat ice cream, and you order vanilla, and ever since that day I have hidden my feelings because I didn’t want to lose you, but now I heard Lewis want to ask you out, so I have to risk now because I know him, and I know that if you say yes to that date I will lose you forever so here I’m telling you everything and hoping you feel the same way y/n”  he lower his head as he finishes saying that, not wanting to look your reaction but instead of a push he feels your lips again.

“That means you like me too?”

“Of course you fool”

He started to smile, grab your hand and run while yelled “Come on, let’s grab some ice cream to commemorate this moment”

Vettonso x Similar Helmets

SV Germany 2012 x FA Monaco 2013: Gold & Dark Red

I think a lot about Vettonso and their mutual relationship witn gold. They're both golden boys, they're both seen lit gold by the sunshine on many podiums throughout the years, both have worn golden boots, and as you can see here: both have worn golden helmets. The parallels in these particular helmets makes me feel insane. Both are: gold with dark red accents, both have their birthplace's coat of arms(Bergstraße and Asturias), both have team animal motifs, and both have symbols to represent their two championships(You by now know the signifigance of the ones on Fernando's helmet, but I think the ones on Seb's are actually a callback to his Formula BMW days when he used to put the smiley stickers on his car for every win.)

And did you know both of these helmets were designed by the same helmet design company? Yep, both of these are JMD helmets. I know JMD helmets are/were pretty popular, but still, there's something to me about Fernando commissioning the same designer that Seb has been using since he was a literal child. Parallels, am I right?

SV Japan 2010 x FA Japan 2023: White with Black & Red

Haha I remember @protocolseben and I discussing this a bit back in September when Fernando's helmet dropped. I honestly think Seb is such an innovator and trailblazer in terms of helmet design, and you can see his influence in helmet design as recently as this past season. I'm not sure if he was the first ever driver to don a matte white helmet with red accents as a representation of the Japanese flag, but it certainly envoked him in my mind when I saw Fernando's!!

I think Fernando's is pretty similar to all of Seb's 2010-2012 Japan helmets but I like this one the most so! I think if Seb wasn't restrained by the Red Bull logo, he def wouldv'e put the red circle where Nando put his so I think Fernando did a really good job, even if unintentionally, at emulating Seb's sense of design.

SV Singapore 2012 x FA Singapore 2012: Sparkly!

Like I said in the one above, it's crazy how much Seb influenced helmet design. He was pretty much the pioneer of sparkly helmets for Singapore, right? It drives me absolutely insane that there's actually pictures of them together in such similar designed helmets. It's kinda funny actually that even though they're pretty deep in the championship fight at this point, and Seb just got one up on Fernando; Fernando is wearing a helmet that is a direct influence from Seb!!! Is that not insane???

Also, Fernando trying to be camp with trying the now in vogue sparkly Singapore helmet, and Seb accidentally completely blew him out of the water with his outrageous light up LED constellation helmet. But god yeah....to have pics of them in matching helmets from this era particuarly makes me emotional ;;;

SV Hungary 2021 x FA 2022: Pink with Dark Blue

I really could've picked any of Seb's 2021 helmets, but I thought this one matched the best with Fernando's main 2021 helmet(with the color pallet.) Also one thing, it's crazy how much control BWT has as a sponsor, I don't think I've ever seen another sponsor go so hard at having a chokehold on individuality. I like that we got pink liveries and pink helmets, but I don't think they should have that much control.

I'm almost kinda sad there wasn't any Miami GP in 2021, because I think that was the only unique helmet Fernando had in 2022. But these match pretty well! Pretty in pink!! It's crazy that their parallels in the 2020s are ongoing even before Fernando actually takes over Seb's seat. Thanks BWT I guess?

SV Abu Dhabi 2022 x FA Abu Dhabi 2022: Fernando's Seb Tribute Helmet

AND HERE WE HAVE THE PIÈCE DE RÉSISTANCE!!! The ultimate conclusion, it literally couldn't get better than this!! This is still unbelievable, like how is this an actual thing that happened!? Fernando intentionally branding his helmet, the only symbol of individuality in F1, with his rival's flag colors, HIS FLAG!!!!! Not to mention the literal "Vettono Best Moments" collage he posted alongside it....and the hand-holding....and everything that happened with them at Abu Dhabi 2022....

But god, after years of incidentally making parallel helmet designs, Fernando decided to officially tie the knot of the red string of fate, and make a helmet directly referencing Seb's. I think it's funny because as I said with two of the previously mentioned ones, those Fernando designs are pretty much inspired by Seb's, and here he is openly making one directly inspired by Seb. I don't really have words for how this actually makes me feel because it's just. Yeah. The most open and clear declaration of love and respect and admiration one could ever make. TO ME.

1.The Greatest: This song was leaked, here are the lyrics. And that's what he said about the song for Euphoria Magazine:

“That was specifically written as a tour opener, not necessarily an album opener at the time. Musically, it’s interesting. There’s probably not another song like that on the record. It starts the album with a statement of intent, which I think is important. There’s a certain ambitious level to that.” (September 1st 2022)

Tomlinson’s focus on intensity doesn’t extend to every song on Faith In The Future — at least not overtly. While he would have left the listener (hopefully) wanting more with “a wall of sound” on a record’s final track, he approached Faith In The Future’s closer “That’s The Way Love Goes” differently. The song, which was his take on the vulnerable simplicity of the Streets’ “Dry Your Eyes,” was the only track he could end the record on — one about a friend encouraging another friend to get over the fact that he’s not in a relationship anymore. “It's not the fact that you're not sympathizing. Is it just me or does it seem like Anna doesn’t have anything about Michael on her IG? I think the last thing I saw was when she and Michael went to see David’s play last year. Georgia hasn’t had anything about Michael either lately, but it just seems different. Or I’m reading too much into it. At least Georgia does have David on hers.

Hi there! I know you sent this several days ago and I've been a bit swamped, so apologies for taking so long to answer.

You are not at all reading too much into things, as a lot of what you mentioned is what many of us have noticed over the last few years, too. Anna puts Michael on her Insta when it's convenient/when there is something to sell (their relationship, typically). The most recent thing (before today, at least) was a picture from Mabli's first birthday party in May. Though she also posted this photo in a story on the same day that GO 2 was released (again, something to promote/sell):

This was obviously an old picture (likely taken midway through filming season 2, during the holiday break--so December 2021/January 2022), but it's telling that this is what she chose to post, instead of something new. And this again continues AL's pattern of posting terrible pictures of Michael, where he looks miserable and she looks smug. It seems like he was caught off-guard, too, as if she wanted a picture before he could put on his "game" face. There were so many choices happening here, and I'm genuinely confused by all of them.

Which then brings us today, and the bunch of photos/videos AL just posted for her birthday weekend, to again brag/show her "celebrating" with Michael. She posted multiple things, but I'm going to highlight these two in particular, as they stood out to me:

For those who can't tell, on the left is video of Michael at a parking meter machine, going to pay for parking. AL is making fun of him (again, which she has done multiple times previously), likely in an attempt to mimic the way Georgia pokes fun at David, yet lacking any of the underlying respect or affection that Georgia seems to have for David.

This (and AL's other stories from today) also continue her pattern of filming Michael surreptitiously/from a distance in order to generate content. In the story on the right, Michael is shooting basketballs and AL is standing behind him filming, rather than actually being in the moment, which gives the feeling of her wanting attention for herself more than wanting to enjoy her birthday with Michael. What also struck me about this and the other stories she posted is how cold and distant they seem. Pictures of empty drink glasses, a table, her sitting on the floor alone. The vibes are just completely "off" somehow, in my opinion, and it's noticeable.

What really stands out to me as well is that it doesn't look like either one of them were having that much fun. One thing we can say for certain about Michael and David--whether you ship them or not, whether you think something is going on between them or not--they always have fun together. We see it in the interviews they do, the interactions they have, how both of them are constantly smiling/laughing and there is never the feeling of one person monopolizing the spotlight--it's them, together, genuinely enjoying each other's company. Making each other laugh. And I just don't feel like that is the case with Michael and AL, because what I get from those stories today is a sense of obligation, rather than fun.

(I also think it's very telling and worth noting that in all of the stories AL posted, the only face that is full-on visible is her own...)

So yes, those are my thoughts on Michael being on AL's Insta and these new developments. As I've always said, I could be completely wrong about everything, but the fact that I've been getting more asks and comments about this makes me think others are starting to notice the questionable optics as well...

OKAY!

So the Bus Bros are Scott McLaughlin and Josef Newgarden, both of Team Penske.

Scott came from Supercars, which is an Australian/NZ touring car series -- he had mega success with Team Penske but he married an American and he had always dreamed of racing in the US. He made his debut at the end of 2020, coming into IndyCar as a rookie for 2021.

And it was pretty clear pretty quickly that he and teammate Josef Newgarden got along fabulously (which iirc Josef himself said that he was surprised by that because he is usually so competitive that friendships with other drivers just don't happen). They also had the same guy Brian, doing their social media/photography stuff.

So of that, Bus Bros, a YouTube series was born in May 2022. It was hilarious, fans loved it so much, it was a hit. The series continued throughout the 2022 season and came back for the 2023 season but... you could tell as the episodes went on that it was not nearly as natural or fun as it had been for them?

The last video was captioned, "It's the Bus Bros and we are back. Apparently this show is alot of "work" for the Bros, but despite their "stress" we convinced them to put together another wild show from Nashville." And it was just... definitely time for the show to die it's natural death (and it did).

During media days at the beginning of the season, Josef and Scott both confirmed that Bus Bros were done. I don't think they've actually said that like they aren't friends anymore or anything but like, it does seem that their friendship (at least publicly) has cooled off. One thing to note that I think probably played a big part in all of this is that Josef and Brian parted ways while Scott still works with Brian so there's that!

1. if you could switch bodies with anybody for only one hour who would it be and what would you do? I think I gotta say taylor swift OBVI. first off im gonna dropping ME! acoustic version. Then I’m gonna hope lover deluxe is already recorded, drop that. If not i will make sure to text Jack and tell him that we need to record it so that i get it either way 😼. Then I would find out the definite truth of what happened between her and Karlie Kloss. I’d wire myself (as in me- me) a few million dollars, pet the cats and then post something really random on her instagram story. Literally want to make the public go absolutely bananas trying to figure out why taylor posted a random twitter meme. I have a lot of faith to believe this could all happen in an hour but I would try. SO hard.

2. whats your most trivial / dumbest hot take?I don’t think we should still be discovering animals. like what do you mean in the year of our lord 2023 we are STILL finding animals?? no they should all be discovered and if they havent been then i think they should stay undiscovered.

3. if you had to teach a college course what would it be in? I feel like we’re all expecting me to say something Taylor related but honestly I could teach a masterclass on the psychology of Ryan Murphy. I hate that man and i have so much to say about him and his productions

4. season 12 of shameless is suddenly happen and youve been put in charge! what plot point(s) are you gonna make happen? I cant think of anything substantial to actually contribute but i want Carl Gallagher to have a fruity little vape. I also want to see him quit the force and flourish in a new job!

5. who would be your godly parent? (can be any mythology). I’m gonna go with greeks as a Percy Jackson stan. I asked my bsf who is an expert in greek mythology. She said: “you’re a Aphrodite child cuz you’re a hopeless romantic and you appreciate beauty. Harry/Severus. Rated: E. Words: 3,686. Written for Snarry Adopt-a-Prompt 2022. Features reverse chronology and alternating POVs! Also: ambiguous/open ending (my love!) It feels like the Snarry of my youth, that angsty and spicy student/teacher, and some good old fashioned tragedy! I really feel like I pulled the thing off with this one! (What is said "thing"? Who knows.) Also, not to pat myself on the back but...that final line? Ouch.

4.) Cruel Summer

Harry/Sirius. Rated: E. Words: 5,445. Minor Harry/Severus. Written for HP Chan Fest 2022-2023. Features gorgeous art by @mrviran. It's a fic I've had floating around my noggin' for a few years but finally felt the call to write for Chan Fest! Our two beloved, troubled boys (Harry and Sirius) live together post PoA, and sees them through plenty of dysfunction, manipulation, and other problematic content 🤭 They have a very complicated (and angsty!) connection and I am so so pleased with how it came out! It's very bit as spicy, sad, and twisted as I'd hoped!

3.) The Curse of Anteros

Harry/Severus. Rated: E. Words: 52,566. Written for Snarry Bang 2023. Inspired by an episode of Charmed called "Magic Hour" (which itself was inspired by a movie called Ladyhawke). This is another idea I've long wanted to write, but never knew how to write it until now. Curses, fairytales, magical animals, true love!! Begins with student/teacher and carries on through time to old men Snarry!!!! This fic really grew way out of control and I'm so glad it did. It feels like...a "proper" story, if that makes sense? Actual plot! Novel length! Who am I even???? Anyway I'm stupidly proud of this one. Also: ART BY MRVILLAIN AGAIN, MY BELOVED TEAMMATE, I'M OBSESSED. Like...idk I'm blown away. Which sounds bad cuz this is my story, but I don't care. This is genuinely a story that not only was I so pumped to create, but one that I'd have LOVED to read as a reader! Had someone else written this I'd have lost my mind reading it. I hate saying that, it sounds so arrogant, but I don't care, I'm losing my mind over this one. I wrote it in like 2 weeks!!!! This fic POURED out of me! And I love it!

2.) Collateral Damage

Draco/Ron. Rated: E. Words: 16,071. Written for Ron-Draco Fest 2021. The first draft of this got to like 10k before I had to scrap it and start totally over. Somehow the original opening kept winding down the wrong path. So finally after fighting with it for way too long (and only 2 weeks to go until it was due), I gave it up and tried again. Decided: "hey, let's open with porn and see what happens." Well...That worked. That did it. All I needed was to open with a BJ for magic to happen, who knew? I ended up with a story I was super jazzed about, and to my great surprise (and pleasure!) others loved it, too!!

1.) Contempt | Devotion

Harry/Severus. Rated: E. Words: 20,400 | 25,843. Written for Snarry-a-Thon 2022 and 2023. This one's cheating a bit since it's technically 2 fics, but it's also the same story in different POVs so...it kinda counts, right? Also I know people have told me they liked Devotion more but I can't help but admit that Contempt itself still holds the top spot in my heart! And while I think say The Curse of Anteros is a better overall story, I don't think any fic ever will top Contempt. I mean, never say never, but Contempt is the story of dreams. It's my heart and soul. It's the Snarry I've always wanted to write. The story, the dynamic, the characterizations, everything. It's everything I've wanted in a Snarry since I first began reading Snarry 20 years ago. Like...I have no words to express just how meaningful this work is to me. This is literally the culmination of all of my Snarry feels. I dragged this story out of my gut. I pulled it out of my skin and wrote it in my blood. That's how connected I am to this work. (Wow that sounds really dramatic but also...true.)

Genuinely I was so cared people would hate it, but I wrote it anyway because I needed it and I loved it. I'm very glad to say that plenty of others love it with me! And this is another one @mrviran offered love to in the form of a podfic! (Plus cover art!) I'm fully obsessed with the podfic (AND ART!) and I get all teary eyed when I think about it, that my dear friend worked so hard to bring more life to my baby. 🥹

Kinda funny how my favorite works (and what i consider some of my best works) were all for fests. Fests really do inspire me, even if they make me want to pull my hair out. 😂

Y/n had been waiting for so long to tell Harry how she felt. They had been friends for a few years and she had been in love with him almost the whole time. But Harry leads a busy life and she’s had a bad history with telling guys how she feels. The timing was always off. But when Covid hit, they got so much closer. Being shacked up with Harry, Jeff and then she got to spend more time with him then she ever had. When he went off to shoot the movie, she missed him so much every day. She finally decided to tell him one night and snuck down to find him talking to Jeff.

“I’m serious mate, I’m falling for her.��

“And I’m telling you, Harry, it’s a bad idea.”

Y/n’s interest in their conversation piqued. She hoped they were talking about her but she was upset Jeff thought it was a bad idea.

“She makes me feel different, Jeff. She’s different.”

“Harry, she’s married. With kids.”

Her heart fell. They were not talking about her. Not only that. Her Harry was thinking about being a homewrecker.

She ran upstairs quietly. She couldn’t listen to more.

For some reason, Harry never confided in her about Olivia. She didn’t know anything else about it until Jeff’s wedding, when they showed up together without warning.

“Olivia, this is my good friend, Y/n. Y/n, this is Olivia, my girlfriend.” A shit eating grin spread on his face and how could she ruin that by showing her true feelings.

“Nice to meet you, Olivia. I’ve heard so many good things.” She gave her a hug and spent the rest of the wedding away from Harry and drinking.

What y/n didn’t see coming was how truly awful Olivia was. She had Harry so fooled. She was never outright mean to y/n but she was very fake and y/n was the only one who could see her for what she was, a bad person. Not that it was her biggest concern, but his new relationship also made less time for her. They went from seeing each other everyday in 2020 to once a month in 2021 and 2022 and he hardly ever texted or called. She missed her friend, her Harry she met in 2017, who would make it a priority to text her once a day and call once a week. Not only did they rarely speak but when he was with Camille he called her for advice constantly which hurt like hell but she loved having his trust. He’s told her nothing about his relationship with Olivia. She’s in the dark and that feels worse than anything because it’s like he doesn’t trust her anymore.

Since she’s been in the dark, she’s been tuned into the gossip sections on social media. Her heart did somersaults when she heard they had broken up around the time of the premiere in Venice. She was even more excited when he had asked her to dinner nearly three weeks after the breakup rumors started. She knew it was time to tell him how she felt.

“I’m so happy to see you, H.” She approached the table he was already seated at.

“It’s been too long,” he said as he hugged her.

“Yeah all because of you, you busy bee! Have you even had time to feed yourself?”

They sat down and chattered on and on while looking over the menu and having drinks. Y/n couldn’t take it anymore. She had to tell him.

“H. I really need to tell you something and I don’t know if my timing is perfect but I think it’ll be a little less embarrassing than any other time I could have told you the last two years.”

He sat up straight.

“Ok yeah. What’s going on?”

“I’m in love with you. I have been for like five years and I don’t know you know us we keep busy and you’ve had girlfriends and I don’t know I heard you and Olivia broke up and-“

“Sorry I’m late!” She’s cut off by Olivia’s voice.

When she looks up she sees her place a hand on Harry’s shoulder before leaning down to kiss him. This has to be the worst thing that has ever happened to her.

“Oh. Oh Um. No worries. I actually didn’t know you were coming, H didn’t say anything. Anyway, I have to go you two enjoy.”

She rushed out of her seat, messily grabbing her stuff and briskly heading to the door.

She was halfway down the block when she heard Harry call after her.

“Y/n!”

She turned on her heel and met his face with her tear stained one.

“It’s okay, Harry. I just need to go.”

“You don’t have to. You can eat with us. I won’t say anything.”

“My feelings for you are not the only problem. I don’t know you anymore. Why wouldn’t you tell me she was coming? Why don’t you tell me about her period? I don’t know anything that goes on behind closed doors anymore, I feel like a fan having to tune into Instagram to find out about your life. That was so embarrassing.”

“It wasn’t embarrassing and I’m sorry I’ve shut you out. But please just come eat with us. Get to know her, I’ll talk about it all with you.”

“I can’t Harry. I miss my friend so much but I can’t pretend everything is fine anymore. I love you so much, I don’t want to hear about your relationship and I don’t want to third wheel you. I just need to go.”

“Okay. Can I call you later? To make sure you’re okay?”

“Yeah. Just give me a few days.”

They both start to walk away but she remembers something she hasn’t said.

“Hey, Harry.”

He turns around to face her again.

“Yeah?”

“Thank you. For still wanting to be my friend.”

“Always. I do love you y/n.”

“I know.” She smiles sadly.

They wave goodbye again and go their separate ways.

I’m sorry I’m bombarding your asks but the idea I have for Devon’s development is a simple concept; realization.

Like, we all know Devon. He’s sassy, he’s smart, he’s kind, he has a little bit of dry humor and has some bad habits, like any other human being — including, his anger issues that sometimes lead him to say or do some bad things.

So imagine he’s thinking, like an over thinker because Devon’s brain canonically just never turns off for some reason is evaluating the hate he has for Chucky. Like before his mom got murdered, he already disliked but had a huge interest in the serial killer.

Like, let’s take Chucky; he has anger problems, dry humor, offensive humor which we all know Devon has if he said everything that came to mind, but most of all — he has an interest in murder. In “spontaneous”.

You can not tell me Chucky was most likely neglected as a child (that’s said in an explanation AND an insult) and probably turned to true crime as a safe space and that fuel his interest for murder. Like Zack Foster from Angels of Death, he saw a horror slasher movie and took that as a “that’s what I need to do to get rid of people that hurt me” because Zack was an impressionable child.

Chucky was most likely the same way.

So was Tiffany.

So is Junior.

And from what we’ve seen, so is Devon. The only difference is he has a more mature level (THANK OUR MOTHER KIM FOR THAT) growing up in the 21st century and having a mother who works late shifts, so he probably rarely sees her but they have a distant but good relationship.

So imagine that coming down on Devon and just realizing that most of the reason why he hated Chucky and Chucky dislikes Devon is because they probably see each other in the other.

Devon sees Chucky as a monster, a monster he knows resides in him somewhere and could’ve caused him to become that if he didn’t have Kim and his friends.

And Chucky sees Devon as what he could’ve been with the right parents in the right environment, with the right friends and mindset and if he wasn’t given unrestricted movie access.

Like, switch their backstories, and no matter the timeline, Devon would’ve became a killer and Chucky would’ve became a normal highschool kid.

Also, Chucky is only seen murdering adults in his prime and parents in the series. Like, that’s his majority.

Idk, it seems interesting.

Like this realization + him getting over that internal fear of being perceived as “dangerous” or “aggressive” as a black gay teen and looking back on his past and starting to fight again is just UGH.

Like these backstories would make so much sense for his character, what Devon is, his responses, it makes so much sense when you’re analyzing and building a backstory for the character based off what they are.

Like, this is taking place in 2023/2024, and very racist things have happened between 2021/2022 and 2019.

Like I know he doesn’t want to be previewed that way, and his teachers may of made him think that being protective over his friends and himself was “aggressive” and he was contributing to a stereotype.

Like finally, in that moment, he can clearly see the line between protective and aggressive and that sparks ignites and encourages him to start fighting again — like he knows how to.
