I don’t think they did, there’s actually a fair amount of signaling that year, you can check on my 2016 LARRY tag. They were even still running the bears at the beginning of the year. But I think it was a very complicated year in general, they were both MIA for a little while after the band and then all the mess with babygate (there was also *a lot* of signaling on that) and by the end of the year, of course, Jay passed away. But still considering everything, I think it was a very active year in that sense. I’m sure you can also find more stuff in my COMMUNICATING tag

The interpreter who was handling the translation of the interview was the one who said it. Honestly, if his team said anything about it, it was probably something along the lines of let's not ask anything about his personal life and focus on the album/tour. But it feels more like the people conducting the interview thought the question could be inappropriate rather than it coming from Louis' side. Full interview here

Hmm, yeah, apparently that was banned from the interview... however, I couldn't see who told the interviewer not to ask him that and change the subject. I haven't seen the entire interview to see how the dynamics went, but it's a very weird exchange there. Honestly, I would be VERY surprised if he decided not to talk about it now after so much nonsense. And the first account you sent me is full of bullshit, by the way, so whatever they say I probably believe the entire opposite.
