Jack Robbins in EastEnders masterpost
Tumblr media
Joplin Sibtain (credited as Chook Sibtain) plays Jack Robbins in 15 episodes. The dates below that have strike-throughs weren’t available when I did my watch, but for the curious/masochistic, all others bar those in Part 4 are on youtube. The episodes from 2001 are currently (February 2023) on UKTV player, free in the UK, labelled Series 17 episodes 144 and 156.
I basically liveblogged each episode with an increasingly deranged number of screenshots (and one hard-won gif in Part 4) though, so if you want to watch Joplin without having to watch EastEnders you don’t have to watch the rest of the episodes, you can just scroll through my posts.
For those who need the warning, just in case, do watch out for - oh, anything that you could imagine putting a trigger warning on, from EDs to euthanasia. It’s a soap, it covers all the bases. Feel free to message me if you want to check anything.

Percy thought that his head might explode.
He didn’t know how he was still walking, honestly. His mom died, he killed a— no, the— Minotaur, all the Greek myths were real and his dad was one of them, and now he had to deal with that freak accident with Clarisse and the toilets.
At least he would be ready next time she tried to beat him up. Percy had been the new kid enough to know there would be a next time.
All he could do was stare at the Minotaur horn in his hands, the only sign that what happened outside the border was real. The horn in his hands and the hole in his heart.
Percy swallowed the lump in his throat. He’d been thrown into the deep end, and the only thing on his mind was when he would start to drown.
“Hey.” Percy looked up to see the counselor he’d met earlier with Annabeth—Luke. He tossed a ziploc bag at him and he caught it, taking a moment to look at what was in it.
“I stole you some toiletries from the camp store,” he explained. “Thought it might make you feel more at home.”
“…Thanks.” He didn’t know if Luke was joking, but the damage had already been done. And it was the nicest thing someone had done for him so far. He set it down next to his Minotaur shoebox. “Is this the best that it gets?”
Luke’s lips quirked up in a slight smile. “For now. We’re a little crowded, if you couldn’t tell.”
“Just a little bit.” Percy stood up from his sleeping bag and worked out the knot in his shoulder. “Where’s your bed? Assuming you have one.”
“I couldn’t wrangle all these cats without some back support,” he said, and he pointed to a bed in the corner. It was the only one on its own without a bunk, and he had a fair amount of decorations. Counselor privileges, he figured. Percy walked over, Luke trailing behind him.
“Nice place,” he said. Percy picked up the Yankee’s cap on his bedside table and nodded as he looked back at him. “Nice taste.”
“It’s for Annabeth,” Luke said. “She wanted us to match.”
Percy nodded again in approval. “Good taste for both of you.”
Luke had various other things around — an alarm clock knocked over next to the baseball cap, a huskie sticker on the wall half-scraped off, a poster for an album he didn’t recognize.
But the thing that caught his eye was a polaroid hanging on the wall, surrounded by a smattering of others varying in size.
The first one had to be an old picture—Luke didn’t have his scar, and the biggest smile stretched across his face. He had a girl close with an arm slung around her waist, and she might’ve been smiling even more than Luke. A bright energy emanated around her, something that must have transferred through the picture, because Percy found himself feeling a little better just looking at her. He wondered if she was a camper.
His eyes flicked to the next picture, which was another one of Luke and that girl. They were both laughing as she tried to put a blue hat on Luke’s head, and he protested with a hand on her wrist. They were in the forefront of a baseball game, Percy noticed.
There were other pictures, too—Luke, a girl dressed all punk, and what looked like a young version of Annabeth, most notably—but a majority of them were either Luke and that girl, or the girl all on her own. In every single one, she beamed brighter than the sun.
Percy pointed at the picture of Luke and the girl at the baseball game, his curiosity getting the better of him. “Who’s that?”
That seemed to catch Luke off-guard, his lips parting for a moment as if he wanted to say something. It barely took him any time to get back on track, but Percy found himself frowning.
“That’s…” Luke cleared his throat, wet his lips, shook his head. “A friend. A very good friend.”
“Does she go here?” Percy asked.
“She did.”
He frowned. “Where is she, then?”
“Percy—” Luke’s voice was strained, but he didn’t really notice as he went on.
“I didn’t see her around,” he continued, “and you look pretty close.”
Luke blinked a couple times, and Percy swore he could see the telltale glimmer of tears starting in his eyes. A muscle worked in his jaw, and suddenly Percy was worried that he’d said something horribly wrong. He had a talent for that, it seemed.
Fortunately, he was saved by the bell—conch shell?—and something like relief flooded through Luke’s expression. Tension still coiled in his body.
“Come on,” he said, that camp counselor smile coming back as he put his hand on Percy’s shoulder and guided him away from the enclave. “That means dinner’s about to start.”
Percy’s frown deepened as curiosity won out again. “Was she your—”
“You don’t wanna be late,” Luke continued, ignoring his attempt. “I assume you’re pretty hungry after two days spent out?”
Well, that only made him want to push harder. But Percy figured he wouldn’t get anything out of him—especially not now.
“…Yeah,” Percy said. “Starving.”
An odd look flickered across his face, but again, it only lasted for a second before he was back to normal. He cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled, “Eleven! Fall in!”
Percy was at the back of the line by virtue of him being the new kid, and he found himself looking back at that picture of Luke and the girl. He didn’t know why, but something drew him to her. Before Percy could think about it more, the line was moving and his growling stomach drew his attention away.
He would have plenty of time to ask Luke about it later.
Or rather, ask him and piss off the only person who’d tried to be his friend so far.
…Gods.
Maybe he was going to drown sooner than he thought.
-
“Luke—”
“No!”
“Luke, please!”
“Annabeth will kill me if she knows—”
“She won’t know!”
“Alright, alright— stay still, you two!”
Your mother laughed from behind the camera as you and Luke fought with each other, you trying your damnedest to get your Red Sox cap on his head as he tried his damnedest to stop you. The frantic laughter on both sides made it a little difficult for either of you to succeed in your quest, but eventually, you got the rock up the hill and the hat on his head.
“Take the picture, Mom!” you exclaimed, pulling Luke even closer by his arms so he couldn’t get it off. “I need the proof!”
“I knew this was a bad idea,” Luke groaned, staring at the camera as you wrapped your arm around his side and leaned into him. He could already imagine your victorious smile, brighter than the sun beating down on them in the stadium, and just the thought of it made one of his own flit across his lips.
“Oh, shut up, Castellan,” you said. “You chose to come to this game. Everyone’s gonna know you’re a Red Sox fan now.”
“You said you wouldn’t tell her!” Luke defended, wrenching his arms free of your control to take the hat off his head. “I don’t even care about baseball!”
“You care so much about it,” you said cloyingly, “and you’re ride or die for the Boston Red Sox.”
“If you say a single word—”
“Okay, kids!” Your mother pointed at the seats next to her. “The game’s about to start—you can keep arguing, but only if you sit down so I can see.”
“Sorry, Mom.” You grinned at her as you pulled Luke over to your seats—they were a step up from nosebleeds, but they were the ones closest to the balcony so you could at least peer over the railing down to the diamond.
“It’s alright, sweetheart.” She glanced at Luke with a smile, and he could really see where you got it from. “We’ve gotta make him a fan somehow.”
“I guess I can live with the brand.” Luke set the cap back on your head once you were seated, purposefully pulling the brim a little over your eyes, and he smiled at you. “Even though it looks better on you, anyways.”
“You just don’t have what it takes to be a Red Sox fan in the heart of Yank territory,” you mused, pushing the hat back up so you could see. “It’s fine.”
Luke rolled his eyes, but he could hardly bite back his smile.
“I am glad you came, though,” you said, glancing back at him. “I’m glad you came with me in the first place. This is gonna be the best semester.”
“Thanks for having me,” Luke said. “It’s… it’s been a while since I’ve left camp.”
“Fingers crossed for no monster attacks, eh?” You held up your hand. “At least, not during the game. I could live with it happening any other time.”
“Don’t speak it into existence,” your mom said. “We’re going to have a monster-free school year.”
To humor her, you made a claw over your heart and pushed out. She hummed in satisfaction, and you looked over at Luke. “It’s gonna be fine.”
“Yeah,” he said. “Because two kids like us aren’t gonna draw any attention.”
“Oh, I know we will,” you said. “But I know it’ll be fine.”
Luke frowned. “How can you be so sure?”
You shrugged with a smile. “I’ve got you.”
And in that moment, he was thankful for the freakish heat that honestly made no sense in the spring—at least it covered up any sign of what your words did to him.
Luke thought you were joking when you asked him if he wanted to come back home with you for the school year. He didn’t know why you wanted to go back in the first place, being a Big Three kid that apparently had a death wish, but the thought of him leaving camp was almost inconceivable.
Even after you assured him you weren’t joking, he still wasn’t sure. He was on the run with you for three years, then…
Well, he couldn’t think about it for too long. But Luke had been on the outskirts of regular society for so long, doing nothing but fighting for his life, that he didn’t know if he could actually function at a normal school.
But it felt right for you two to get some normal time together after you were separated for so long. It took him a semester to decide, but one day during your usual Iris message conversations, he told you he’d love to spend the rest of the year in Boston with you. Luke still remembered the grin you wore, your disbelieving but victorious cheers, the apology you yelled back at your mother for your noise.
Luke watched you as you talked with your mom, discussing Boston’s chances and player statistics and baseball jargon he didn’t think he’d ever understand, and he knew he would sit through a thousand Red Sox games if it meant he would get to keep seeing your smile.
You must have felt his eyes on you, because you glanced over at him. “Are you okay?”
Luke smiled. Gods, he was so glad you were here.
“Never better.”
-
“That one nearly got me,” Luke said.
Percy huffed as he picked up his sword from the ground—he was pretty sure he would officially lose his mind if Luke disarmed him with that stupid move one more time. One benefit to the Hermes cabin being too scared to associate with him after getting claimed was that he wasn’t making a fool out of himself in front of other people.
“Maybe I can only beat you when I pour water on myself,” he said.
Luke chuckled as he took a bottle from the cooler on the side and held it up. “Wanna try?”
He shook his head. “I think my arms will fall off if I keep going with you.”
He tipped his shoulder. “Fair.”
Percy stared at the ground as Luke gathered himself, trying to put the free range thoughts roaming around his head in order. It didn’t help that he’d gained a million questions after Poseidon claimed him, and it didn’t help that there’s been a newest addition to his dream last night.
He still felt strange asking Luke about it, but he had to know more about her. Percy didn’t know why it felt like his mission to find out who this mysterious girl was, or why he felt that strange connection to her. Maybe it was the way Luke acted whenever he brought her up, maybe it was that she’d popped up in his dream next to him at the very end, maybe it was just plain old curiosity.
“I’m not supposed to be alive,” Percy said, breaking the silence. “I could die at any time in a bunch of different horrible ways. So will you tell me more about that girl on your wall?”
Again, Luke seemed to be caught off guard by it. Percy heard the crunch of plastic as his hand clenched ever so slightly around the bottle, and he tried to cover it up with an arched eyebrow. “Why do you want to know so badly?”
He shrugged. What was he supposed to say?
“I’m curious,” he decided.
Luke huffed a dry laugh before he took a sip of water, and he stared off into the distance for a while. He did a lot of staring whenever this girl was brought up. They looked like they were best friends in those pictures, but maybe whatever they had ended badly. And if she was a demigod too…
Well, it would make sense why he didn’t want to talk about her.
“You know that phrase about curiosity?” Luke asked.
“And how it killed the cat?”
He nodded, drinking some more. “It goes double for demigods.”
“Everything else wants to kill me,” Percy said. “So curiosity’s gonna have to get in line.”
Luke’s laugh was a little more genuine this time, and he shook his head. “I guess I can tell you a little about her. You actually probably have a right to know.”
“Is she a half-blood?” Percy asked immediately.
He nodded. “Yeah.”
“Who’s her parent?”
Luke capped his water bottle and looked at Percy for a good, long moment. His face glowed in the warm afternoon sun, his scar cast in a softer light than usual. The scar used to unnerve him, but he’d gotten used to it after weeks staring at it during sword fighting.
“She was a child of Poseidon, Percy,” he said. “Just like you.”
Percy felt short of breath, like Luke had just knocked his sword out of his hand and shoved him to the ground. But he stood on his own two legs that somehow still worked, and Luke hadn’t moved.
He had a sister?
“I have a sister?”
“…Had,” Luke corrected. “She… she died a few years back.”
A vice latched onto Percy’s heart. He was still having a hard time breathing. No wonder Luke always used past tense when he was talking about her.
He had a sister, he wasn’t alone, but he was because she was dead. And if Luke was one of her friends, that meant she died young.
Gods.
“What about their oath?” Percy asked, trying to ignore the aching in his chest. “I’m already on thin ice for my whole existing thing. How did Poseidon get away with two kids so close to each other?”
Luke shrugged. “I’ve never known why gods do things. Her mother was a great woman, though—I could see what drew Poseidon to her against the oath.”
One half of Percy wanted to ask every question that kept popping into his head. The other side of him wanted to break down and cry.
“How did you meet her?”
“We ran into each other when we were both young,” he said. “Both child runaways, both demigods, both New Englanders—we decided to rough it out on the road together. Couldn’t be any worse than doing it on our own.”
Percy tried to imagine it. A young Luke and a younger version of that girl—maybe Percy’s age—living together in the wilderness and fighting monsters. Surviving off of nothing but their wit and skill, facing death each day before they’d even reached middle school.
“It… it didn’t happen then, did it?” he asked hesitantly.
Luke shook his head. “Couple years later. All we did was watch each other’s backs out there.”
Percy couldn’t help himself. “What happened to her?”
“The same thing that happens to everyone,” Luke said flatly. “There’s a reason I’m the oldest one here.”
“That doesn’t make it better,” Percy insisted. “It— it makes it worse, Luke. You see that, right?”
Luke stared at his empty water bottle then tossed it back into the cooler. When his gaze met Percy’s, he was shocked by how… tired he looked. Beyond exhausted—bone-weary. Percy wanted to say more, but he didn’t get the chance.
“This isn’t good conversation,” Luke said, “and it’s getting late. You should hit the showers before dinner.”
The sun still beat down on them, bright and angry in the sky, but Percy provided no argument. He had a lot to think about.
Before they went their separate ways, Percy stopped and looked back at him. “I’m sorry she’s gone, Luke.”
Luke’s gaze went unfocused for a moment, his eyes growing glossy. “So am I.”
-
Percy sat on the floor of the Hermes cabin in the corner that used to be his, staring at his meager belongings. He had to decide what to take on his quest, which was made easier by the fact that he hardly had anything to his name. Things could always be worse, though. At least he would have a change of clothes.
He should’ve been doing this in his own cabin, but it felt too empty, too suffocating in its silence. Eleven was still more familiar. He heard the door open and saw Luke walk in, and his eyes lit up when he saw Percy.
“Hey,” he said. “I wanted to see you before you left. How’re you feeling pre-quest?”
“Like the world’s about to end,” he said.
Luke’s lips twitched into a smile as he sat on the bed across from Percy. “Understandable. It kinda is.”
“It’s just overwhelming.” Percy shoved the unfolded clothes into his backpack. “I have to clear mine and my dad’s names and get Zeus’s bolt back, or else war will start. No pressure at all.”
“You were chosen for a reason,” Luke said. “You may not see it, Percy, but you’ve improved a lot since you got here. If anyone can do this, I think it’s you.”
Percy looked up at him, and he was reminded of the way their last conversation went. He was asking before he could really stop himself.
“I could die on this quest and never see you again,” Percy said. “So could you tell me more about my sister before I go?”
Luke smiled wistfully and sighed. “You really won’t let this go, will you?”
“It’s not really something you just let go,” he said. “Besides, I… I saw her in my dream last night.”
Luke’s smile faded. “You did?”
Percy nodded. “For a split second, but I know it was her. I felt the same way I did whenever I looked at her pictures. And… it’s the second time she’s shown up.”
He let out a long sigh and shook his head, his gaze trailing off to the wall. He always looked so much older when he talked about this girl, like he was a war veteran reminiscing on his lost love. And from what he’d gathered, it might not have been too far off.
“I told you we ran together when we were young,” he said, and Percy nodded. “We were both nine, and it should’ve been terrible, but she had a way of making everything better. Always found the bright side of things, was always able to make me laugh.”
“She was from Massachusetts—right in the middle of Boston.” Luke chuckled as he looked at Percy. “Huge Red Sox fan.”
Percy grimaced. “We all make mistakes.”
Luke smiled, though it faded a bit. “We got separated for a while, but we found each other again when I got to camp. Things were more peaceful than they are now, so she’d been claimed at camp pretty quickly. I figure Poseidon wanted her to have the protection of him openly standing behind her after what happened.”
He frowned. “What do you mean, ‘what happened’?”
Luke shook his head. “That would be an awful story to send you off on.”
Percy wanted to protest, but he didn’t. Luke was probably right—Percy didn’t want to make him relive it and then have to go on a death quest right after.
“A happier part, then,” he suggested.
“She ran away from home as a kid to protect her mom, but now that she had an idea of what she was doing, she started going back to school. She invited me to stay with her during the school year one year, and I accepted. That—” Luke’s throat bobbed, and the other hand clenched into a fist— “that was when she died.”
In his stunned silence, Luke got up and went over to his alcove. He pulled the drawer open on his bedside table and pulled out a neatly folded piece of paper. It must’ve been folded and crumpled a million other times in messier ways by all the creases he could see, but when Luke opened it, he could see handwriting all over the front.
A letter.
“We Iris messaged each other constantly while she was at school,” he said, “and we wrote back and forth when we couldn’t. This was the last letter she sent me.”
Percy’s first instinct was to say he wouldn’t be able to read it, but he realized that he didn’t really care. These were words that his sister wrote—he would sit here the rest of the day forcing sentences to make sense if that was what it took.
So he took the letter when Luke offered it.
To the one and only Luke Castellan,
My mom said yes! After a very long interrogation (she now knows basically everything about you) and a million promises that you would be as careful as possible and that you were good enough at sword fighting to take down anything that could come after us, she said you can spend the year here. We spent a couple hours every day making my mom’s study into a guest room, so you have a place to stay.
I’m an idiot that didn’t bring enough drachmas so that’s why I have to send this letter—hopefully it gets to you soon enough, because we’re gonna come get you a week before my winter break is over. Mom is letting me drive down because she says I have to get my permit soon. It makes sense that my first big test is getting to you. If we don’t make it, it’s because we died in a fiery crash.
Just kidding. I’m a great driver. But tell me some of your favorite songs when you reply and I’ll burn a CD for the ride—I figured out how to use LimeWire. Oh, and throw in a couple drachmas with the envelope so I can Iris message you next time. I miss your face and your voice, and my hand is cramping up writing all of this.
But this is so exciting! I can’t wait to introduce you to all my friends at school, and show you my favorite places in the city, and make you into a Red Sox fan. And you can come to my soccer games— I’m the greatest forward there is.
Jokes aside, I’m going to make sure you have the best time. We’ll spend every second together, Luke. We’re gonna make up for the time we lost.
I can’t wait to see you again.
Your hurricane.
It took Percy a long time to get through it with the words swimming all over, and it didn’t help that his vision had grown blurry.
Tears, he realized as he blinked, and he did it again to make sure they wouldn’t fall. He couldn’t cry in front of Luke, not over a girl he didn’t even know—even if she was his sister. But maybe he was grieving that—the fact that he would never get to know her.
“God, man. I— I’m sorry.” Percy couldn’t think of anything else to say. “She sounds like she was great.”
Luke couldn’t even manage a smile this time as he stared at the wall. Percy was surprised he could even talk to him about it.
“She was,” he murmured. “You would’ve liked her. And gods,” this time, a bit of a smile broke through despite it all, “she would have loved a little brother.”
“I’m gonna make her proud on this quest,” Percy vowed. “I’m gonna clear our dad’s name for her.”
Something in Luke’s gaze had changed—sadness, almost regret. “You’re a good kid, Percy. I hope your quest doesn’t change that.”
I hope I come back alive, he wanted to say. But given the topic matter, he didn’t. Percy carefully folded the letter back up and handed it to Luke.
“Thank you for telling me about her, man,” Percy said. “I… I know it can’t be easy.”
Luke let out a shuddering breath as he stared at the closed letter—Percy wondered how many times he must have sat in this same position, reading her words. “No better way to honor her memory than helping her brother.” He glanced at Percy. “I see a lot of her in you.”
He’d been wondering if he had anything in common with her. Percy felt a sudden flare of anger shoot through him—it wasn’t fair that she was dead. Poseidon was a god, and she was a teenager. He should have saved her.
Percy’s mouth was drier than a desert. A part of him wanted to curl up in a ball and sob over the sister he never got the chance to know, but the other part of him knew—from what little Luke had told him about her—that she wouldn’t want him to.
“I should get going,” Percy said, standing up from the floor. “We have to leave for the quest soon, and Annabeth and Grover are probably wondering where I am, and…”
Percy trailed off, and Luke nodded in understanding. He turned around and took one of the photos off the wall—one of you alone in the middle of a park, wearing a bucket hat and absolutely beaming.
“You deserve to have a part of her with you,” he said. “For good luck.”
He felt himself choking up, and he pushed it down as he accepted the photo. “Thanks, man. It means a lot.”
“Good luck, Percy,” Luke said. “You’ve got a lot of people rooting for you.”
Percy found himself studying the picture of you once he made it outside, trying to memorize your face. With your wide, infectious smile that emanated pure sunlight, he could have mistaken you for an Apollo kid. But when he looked at you, he got that same warmth that he felt every time he imagined his father.
“I won’t let you down,” he murmured. “I promise.”
-
After sleeping in his train seat for half the day, Percy vowed to never complain about his bed in Cabin Three again. He was gonna be going down to the Underworld with permanent cricks in his neck.
Grover was still sound asleep—Percy envied him for how easily it came to him in the worst conditions—but thankfully, Annabeth wasn’t. Her gaze was focused on the view as their train chugged along.
Percy cleared his throat in a flawless attempt at getting her attention, and it worked.
“You’re awake,” she said.
“Unfortunately.” Percy sighed. “How much longer do you think it’ll be?”
“Another day, at least,” she said. “And we’ve got a layover in St. Louis.”
“St. Louis,” he hummed. “Nice.”
They sat in silence for a while—there wasn’t much to talk about when they were coming off of two— or was it three, now?—near-death experiences. But eventually, Annabeth cleared her throat, taking a page from his book, and it worked again.
“There— there’s probably something you should know,” Annabeth said, and that worked even better than clearing her throat. “You’re not the only Big Three kid to come through Camp Half-blood lately.”
“I know,” he said. “Grover and Luke explained it.”
Her eyes widened slightly and she leaned forward in her seat. “Luke did?”
“…Yeah. You all already told me about Thalia.” Percy glanced away, suddenly feeling a chill in the train car. “Luke told me about my sister.”
Annabeth went silent.
“It’s okay,” he said. “I kind of annoyed Luke until he told me. Doesn’t really seem like a subject people at camp like to talk about.”
“I’m just surprised he did,” she murmured. “They were… they were close, Percy. Her death destroyed him—Thalia and your sister. All of it’s complicated.”
“Yeah,” he sighed, “I got some of that.”
“I only knew her for a year at camp, but everyone loved her,” she said. “She was nice. Popular. Always helped when she could, always had the biggest, most infectious smile on her face.” Annabeth looked down at her hands. “She didn’t deserve the fate she got.”
Percy didn’t think he’d ever grieved so much for someone he never knew. “But her and Luke—were they…?”
“Yeah,” Annabeth said, “they were a thing, later on.”
That seemed to be all she wanted to say on the matter. Percy decided not to push.
“How did you meet her?” he asked.
Annabeth’s lips pressed into a thin line. “I met her on the day I thought I would die.”
-
For the first time in her life, Annabeth Chase couldn’t think.
It had all happened so fast. One second she was running with Luke and Thalia and Grover, praying to her mother and any other gods that would listen to make the horde of monsters let up even a centimeter.
The next, she’d collapsed on the ground, never so grateful to have grass and dirt and dust in her face. But she could hear Luke yelling, barely able to make it out in her delirious state—she didn’t know when she’d last had a sip of water, and they’d been running for at least three miles—but he sounded hysterical.
She remembered her last clear thought: they weren’t going to make it.
But they had. They had, so why was Luke losing his mind?
Annabeth pulled herself up from the ground—how long had she been bleeding out of those slashes on her arm?—and looked for the rest of her friends. Luke wasn’t yelling anymore, instead arguing with someone she didn’t recognize in a bright orange shirt. Grover’s furry legs trembled as he stared down the hill they’d just gotten up, completely silent, and Thalia—
Where was Thalia?
Annabeth tried to get up but her legs gave out almost immediately, and steady arms caught her before she could fall to the ground again. Kind eyes served to ease some of her panic—she was older than Annabeth, maybe around Luke or Thalia’s age.
Thalia—
“Hey, you’re okay,” the voice said, and Annabeth’s attention was drawn back to you. “I’ve got you.”
“Where’s Thalia?” she blurted out, because now she couldn’t think of anything else.
Your brows creased and you glanced back down the hill—Annabeth did too, and she saw Grover and Luke arguing with each other. Or rather, Luke was yelling at him as Grover anxiously hooked his hands through his hair.
“I don’t know,” you said, “but right now, I need to make sure you’re okay. Are you hurt?”
Annabeth absentmindedly held up her arm, but she was only focused on her friends. Why wasn’t Thalia with them? Why was Luke so upset?
You cursed under your breath in Ancient Greek as you cradled her arm, and you looked back down the hill. Annabeth could see at least half a dozen other kids.
“We’ve got two half-bloods and a satyr, one injured!” you yelled back. “Get Molly and Brayden!”
“Three,” Annabeth found herself saying. “There’s three half-bloods—”
“Annabeth!”
Her head shot up at the sound of Luke calling her name as he bounded over, and her eyes widened at the blood steadily spidering across the fabric of his shirt.
“Luke, you’re hurt—”
“I’m fine,” he insisted. “It’s fine.”
“We have Apollo kids coming,” you said, looking up at him, still cradling Annabeth’s arm. “We’ll get y—”
Your sentence stuck in your throat, and Annabeth could see tears welling in your eyes as your brows furrowed. She thought Luke’s eyes might burst out of his skull as he stared at you, his lips parted but nothing coming out. Neither of you were able to form words.
When he finally did get something out, it was a single name. One Annabeth knew by heart, one that he’d mourned for years.
“Luke?” you whispered.
Before he had the chance to do anything, two teenagers got over the hill and called out your name, the same one Luke used. He always said you were dead, but you clearly weren’t dead, because you were here and you had her arm in your grasp and while your hands were cold, they weren’t cold enough to be dead—
“Molly’s gonna take care of you,” you said, looking back at Annabeth and cutting off her inner dialogue. “She’ll get you to the infirmary and heal you up, okay?”
“My friends—”
“They’re gonna be okay too,” you said. “I promise.”
Annabeth looked up at Luke, and he nodded. “We’ll be with you soon, Annabeth. We— we have to talk about some things.”
So she went with Molly down the hill, and Annabeth put pressure on her bleeding wound when she told her to—it had started to sting like hell now that her adrenaline was fading.
She looked back just in time to see you and Luke share the tightest hug ever.
The hug of two people who realized they weren’t seeing ghosts, Annabeth thought.
-
You bolted up in bed, eyes wide and your chest heaving as you rapidly sucked in air. Your fingers found purchase in your bedsheets, desperate for something familiar—it took a second for you to recognize your surroundings, that you weren’t in an endless void, but your childhood bedroom offered little comfort.
You ran a hand over your forehead, damp with sweat, as you tried to calm down. Your breathing slowed, but you couldn’t shake that awful feeling that hung over you in your sleep.
Your nightmares were getting worse, you knew that much. That raspy, demented voice used to be a rarity, and now it appeared every night. You could usually deal with your nightmares, but the sense of absolute dread that voice and the pit fostered in you was too much. You hadn’t managed to sleep through the night once since you came home for the school year.
You could deal with the monsters—to you, this was the worst part of your godly blood.
A knock rattled on the door out of nowhere, and you nearly jumped out of your skin. The only thing that calmed you down was the thought that monsters didn’t knock.
“Come in,” you croaked, your throat drier than a desert.
Thankfully, a monster hadn’t come to make your night even more miserable. Luke stood in the doorway, his eyebrows creased in concern, messy curls hanging just above his eyes. He wore the Red Sox t-shirt you’d bought for him at the game you dragged him to, and in your addled state, you didn’t even think to tease him about it.
“Are you okay?” He should’ve been as disoriented as you, but his alerted eyes told a different story.
You could only think of one thing. “How did you know?”
Luke’s lips parted for a moment, as if he hadn’t even considered it. “I could just feel it.”
You managed a smile despite every atom in your body screaming at you. “I think that means you can come in.”
He closed the door behind him, and you shifted over in your bed to make room for him. There wasn’t much in a twin, but you made it work. Luke’s weight pressed into the mattress, making you adjust your position, and it was more comforting than any amount of blankets.
“You’re so cold,” he murmured, laying the back of his hand against your arm. “How do you live like that?”
“Blame my dad,” you said. “I’ve got water in my blood.”
“I think that’s probably a bad thing,” Luke said, and you knocked your shoulder into his with a huff.
“You know what I mean.”
Luke let his hand fall back in his lap, and as you brought your knees up to your chest, you pulled the covers with them.
“So,” Luke said, glancing at you, “what’s got you awake at the witching hour?”
“The usual,” you mumbled.
“Nightmares that might be prophetic?” he asked.
You made a lazy gesture with your hand. “Bingo.”
“The worst sense of dread imaginable?”
“Bullseye.”
“I’m sorry,” he said.
You shrugged. “It’s nothing I can’t deal with.”
“You don’t always have to put on a front, y’know,” Luke said. You felt his eyes on you. “You don’t always have to be strong.”
“I’m naturally strong,” you said with mock austerity. “Comes with the god for a dad.”
Luke chuckled and shook his head. “You know what I mean.”
“Yeah,” you murmured.
You leaned into his side, fitting your head into the crook of his neck. Luke wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer, and you let out a contented sigh.
That voice in your nightmares seemed so small when you had Luke.
“Can you stay?” you asked softly.
He didn’t hesitate. “Of course.”
“Just like old times,” you whispered.
“Just like old times,” he agreed.
Luke ran hot, and you’d never been more thankful for it as you fully settled into his side. Icy blood ran through your veins, and you let out a shaky sigh. You could hear his steady breathing, feel his heartbeat through his chest, and the anxiety from earlier began to steadily fade. You never felt safer than when you were with Luke.
There was something between you—you weren’t that stupid—but you hadn’t talked about it. With you and Luke, it was just… you and Luke. You didn’t have to put a label to it.
How could you put a label to your relationship, when you’d spent your first few years together fighting for each day, and then the next few thinking the other was dead?
Maybe someday, you would talk about it. But for now, this was more than enough.
“Don’t worry,” Luke murmured in your ear as your eyes began to droop. “I’m not gonna let anything happen to you.”
And by the gods, you believed him.

Love isn’t the easiest thing in the world.
But you were unaware how loving a broken man would be onerous. A decision that would lead to an immense heartache, something you failed to realize until it was too late.
You knew he was still mourning her, and rightfully so. She was his first and only love, the only woman he ever gave his heart towards.
You weren’t asking for much. You didn’t want to replace her. No, never in a million years. You only hoped wished Toji would allow you to love him. To make space in his heart. To have a chance of slowly laying his heart open like he had done before with her.
Unfortunately it never came, not once during the duration of five years being together.
You meet Toji by chance at the supermarket store not too far from your residence. You never paid much attention to him until he brought a 5 month old baby boy. He was a silent but curious little one with his green eyes looking at anything.
Funny enough, the baby boy named Megumi was the reason you and his father even interacted. It was a random day where you were in the fresh meat section, looking at the deals they had for the day. You were focused on finding what you needed when a small gurgle snapped you out of your trance.
You glanced over to the little cherub looking up at you, smiling with his two bottom teeth barely showing. You gave a warm smile with a small wave his way. This made Megumi more giddy and vocal as he let out a few babbling giggles. You let out a soft chuckle seeing him bouncing in his seat while flailing his arms. The jingle of his teething ring followed his movements until it slipped out of his chubby hands. You were quick to catch it, hating to see him sad.
Handing it back to him, you were caught off-guard when he grabbed your hand. His attention was now off the toy and onto you. Megumi held onto you as he smiled like the little cherub he was. You, however, were a little concerned when realizing his father was out of sight. As cute as Megumi was, you didn’t want to cause trouble with his dad for interacting with you. Just as Megumi loosen his grip, you heard a low chuckle behind you.
“Megumi, you’re in a better mood now than earlier. Is it because you’re bothering her?”
That’s when you meet him, the towering man who also was the father of the little baby that caught your attention. His eyes met yours and something in your heart flickered. He was attractive, a glaring observation. But the way his grin highlighted the scar on his right side of his lips caught your attention.
“Sorry about my son, Miss. He’s a little troublemaker and a rascal.”
You playfully snickered at his harmless insult for Megumi.
“It’s fine. He’s quite the cute baby. I don’t mind the trouble at all.”
You don’t remember the details of that small interaction. But you knew you would see both of them again. Surprisingly, Toji walked you to your car. Although you thanked him, your wandering eyes caught a glimpse of gold on his left finger.
‘Oh…’
You knew better than to mess with marriages and have affairs. But you felt disappointed knowing Toji is married. But hey, he treated you nicely and respectfully. So maybe you could be an acquaintance or even a friend if you’re lucky. It was a weekly encounter with the man and his son, always having small talk while you entertained Megumi. Weeks turned into a month, then a month became six months.
After some time, you grew comfortable around them as you always looked forward to seeing them each week. But you noticed a key detail that felt off: where’s Toji’s wife? The mother of Megumi, where is she?
You thought she was working or a very busy woman. So during one of your weekly interactions, you asked Toji about the whereabouts of his wife. The question was meant to be harmless, you didn’t mean to pry. But the change in Toji’s face and his body going stiff showed you’ve crossed a line.
“Oh, I’m sorry, Toji! I didn’t mean to be nosy about your personal life! If it’s a sensitive topic, you can drop it and I’ll never bring it up again.”
Toji knew it was the only matter of time before you asked the question. More so, he’s anticipating your reaction to his answer more than your question itself. The guilt washing over you seeing the tall well-built man deflate in front of you. His callous hand slowly rubbed his face, pondering at the question that you threw into the open. He sighs before facing you, seeing your face full of shame and embarrassment.
“Toji, you don’t have to. I was out of line for–”
“No…No it’s fine, (Y/N). It’s just…I can’t really talk about something like that here. If we were in private, I can give the answer to your question. You free tomorrow?”
As much as shutting down Toji’s invitation would’ve brought your dignity back, something inside told you to go through with it. And so you agreed to it.
“I am, are you okay with noon? The weather is doable around that time and I don’t want to make Megumi sick. There’s this cafe where we can meet up. It's hidden in one of the side streets and has privacy booths if that's okay with you. You want me to send the address to you?”
“Yeah… That’ll be great, (Y/N).”
He relaxes in your gaze but it feels like you trespassed onto treacherous waters. The next day, you waited for Toji outside the cafe. Frequently looking between your phones and the busy street of people to see any sign of the duo. Before you dial his number, you spotted the familiar gray jacket and a stroller heading your way.
You waved in his direction to catch his attention which worked because his gaze connected with yours. You smiled at him as he made his way over before peaking in the stroller to see a baby Megumi sleeping, covered in his puppy baby blanket. You walk inside and a server already takes you to a secluded booth. You ordered your drinks ahead of time and they were ready once you sat down. Toji’s drink is easy, straight up black coffee with no sugar or creamer.
The two of you talked for a bit. Well, you were beating around the bush from yesterday's topic. Taking your anxiety by the throat, you finally had the guts to repeat your question from yesterday. Your abruptness didn’t startle Toji as he took a good sip. His answer was unexpected, one which was dreadful than his assumed replies you thought of.
“My wife died last year…She had an unknown illness the doctors couldn’t figure out even though they tried everything. But it was catching up to her faster than the doctors could work. Megumi was only barely 3 months old when she passed away…”
You didn’t know what to do. Yes, you wanted to comfort Toji but you didn’t know what to say. By the looks of things, it’s just him and his son. He has no other support from families on both sides. No friends either to lean on. You're probably his only friend he’s ever made. He was a single dad trying to take care of his son after the sudden death of his wife. But you were empathetic to him, Megumi, and their situation. You offered to help him out with Megumi, not out of pity but out of compassion.
“If it’s okay with you, I can help you out with Megumi. My work hours are short and early in the morning. That’s why I’m always available after 12:00 pm. I’m off during the weekends too. It wouldn’t be much of an inconvenience to me at all…You need help raising Megumi, Toji…”
His lips form into a sneer momentarily before returning to a straight line.
“Was it that obvious, (Y/N)?”
Carefully, you selected your words to not sound patronizing towards him.
“No…It wasn’t, at first. But after what you just told me…I think you need some extra hands to deal with this. It wouldn’t hurt to ask for help, Toji…”
He really didn’t want to…He knew you’re a kind individual when he laid eyes on you. You were different to him, being good-natured…something that was awfully similar to how his late wife was like, especially how you treated him when you two first met. He couldn’t let you be dragged into his own shortcomings as a father. You were young, 23 to be precise. You had a future ahead of you, you couldn’t slow it down for a single dad and his kid. Yet here you are, offering your help to him with no form of repayment whatsoever. It was genuine too, he could feel it when you offered a soft tender smile towards him.
He grins and allows you to help him and his son out. Though your smile didn’t change, he felt his heart rate doubled when your eyes became soft like your smile. You two left the cafe and walked along the city. Cutting through a nearby park, the two of you were in a conversation as the park’s flora were in the early stage of blossoming. You two didn’t get far as you heard some rustling coming from the stroller. Pausing your conversation, you and Toji looked inside to see Megumi stir himself awake. He slowly rubs his eyes as he sits up. Still rubbing the sleep out his eyes, he let out a whine causing Toji to stop. You raise an eyebrow observing Toji as he picks up Megumi. Then, from a whine came a small sniffle, the sniffle turned into a small sob. You watched Toji comfort a crying Megumi. Rocking him in his arms and rubbing his head gently.
Yet nothing was working to calm Megumi. By instinct alone, you wanted to comfort Megumi. Yet, you felt hesitation take over. Reeling back and forth between your two emotions, you decided to step in and hold out your hands towards Toji. The man gave you a strange look before slowly handing you his son. Once in your arms, Megumi’s crying had slowed to a stop. As you held him in your arms, you slowly rubbed his back while humming. Toji never admitted out loud but seeing how his son calmed down in your arms made his heart erupt into a feeling he wasn’t so used to.
Tumblr media
From then on, you helped Toji out with raising Megumi. It was some work but you didn’t mind it at. Picking up Megumi from school, watching him when Toji was away or busy, running errands for Toji, and helping around their apartment, etc. You soon learned he was a quiet baby. Besides the occasional crying, he was silent for the most part when he wasn’t excited. You also noticed he’s only happy when he’s around either you or Toji. Showing it through his little baby ways, making you become attached and affectionate of Megumi. It only grew as you watched Megumi grow up.
Over time, taking care of Megumi became a part of your routine and eventually life. You grew fond and close with him. Though it was unofficial, it felt as if he was your own son. During that time, you and Toji grew close as well. A year into your involvement in his and his son’s life, you ask Toji if he liked you. To which he responded with “Yeah…Actually, I like you a lot, (Y/N)...” At the time, you felt relieved that your feelings were mutual. Seemingly the next 5 years with him and Megumi would be bliss. But that should’ve been the first sign something was up.
Although you’re not one for paranoia, you felt things between you and Toji were off as the years passed. There were little things here and there like not always holding your hand outside, lack of nicknames, and curt answers when you ask him about his day when he comes home. But you concluded it was your tendency to overthink.
However, everything changed when Megumi called you Mama. He had just turned four when he said it. Normally, he would call you “(Y/N)-san” when he’s with you. You were waiting for him as usual on the day it happened. And on the dot, you see Megumi come out with his teacher with a piece of paper in his hand. You walk up to them to retrieve Megumi from his teacher but Megumi starts to fiddle with his paper, which worries you a bit.
“Megumi, why don’t you show her what you made today in class? I think she would love it.”
His teacher gave him an encouraging smile that pushed Megumi to show you what he drew. It was a picture of three stick figures. One had a scar on the line that you assumed was the lips, a smaller one that looks like Megumi, then another that looked like you.
“Aw, Megumi. Did you draw us?”
“Yeah, because you’re Mama, (Y/N)!”
You didn’t know a child could bring such warmth and a feeling of belonging, but Megumi did. You open your arms and he goes in without hesitation. You hug him tightly before patting his head.
“Thank you, Megumi. I love it. Let’s go home now, we have to get groceries for dinner.”
Megumi nods before saying bye to his teacher. You allowed him to talk your ear off as you got ingredients for dinner. You were in a good mood, indulging him as he talked about what he did in school. Coming to their home, you got to work with dinner while Megumi did his homework on the living room table. Once Toji’s home, dinner was ready and Megumi put his school bag away, leaving out his drawing. After eating and cleaning up, you finish washing the dishes when Toji comes into the kitchen looking at the paper in his hand. It was Megumi’s drawing from school.
“Megumi drew this, (Y/N)?”
“Yeah, he drew it during school. He showed it to me when he picked it up. It’s pretty sweet of him. He was so excited to show me.”
Drying your hands on the towel nearby, the kitchen became awfully silent. You turned to Toji and see him still looking down at Megumi’s drawing. Yet, his hand started crippling the paper. Sensing his change in mood, you went up to him to see if everything was okay. You placed a comforting hand on his arm but he jolted his arm to move it off. Surprised by his action, you tried to meet his eyes. Once he did, they were filled with anger. He looks back and forth between you and his son’s drawing. It looked as if he wanted to say something but his clenched teeth prevented anything from coming out. He lets go of the drawing, letting it fall on the ground before turning on his heels to go into his bedroom.
“I need to calm down, (Y/N)...I had a rough day… Just give me space and don’t come into my room.”
You would've protested, but he was fast and left the kitchen instantly. You slowly kneeled to look at Megumi’s picture, a pain throbbed inside your heart when you saw how much the paper was crumpled by Toji’s death grip. Your pain continues with a mix of worry as Megumi’s drawing of you with the title of ‘Mama’ above was creased the most. You calmed yourself down by taking a deep breath, unconsciously holding the picture close. You made sure the kitchen was clean before going into Megumi’s room. The moonlight peaking through the blinds of his window, you can see he was knocked out cold. Placing his drawing on his night stand, you pet his hair before kissing his forehead goodnight and closing his door gently. You went to Toji’s room, knocking on it to make your presence known. When you didn’t hear anything, you let out a sigh before telling him you were leaving with a goodnight following afterwards.
Once you closed their apartment door and sat in your car, a sinking feeling began to creep into your stomach. Though not painful, it wasn't going away no matter how hard you tried to calm down. Not understanding why you felt the sudden rush of anxiety. You didn’t know it back then but perhaps it was your gut feeling warning you something bad would happen. But you would have never thought it was be the downfall of your relationship with Toji.
That’s when the arguments started happening. Well, they weren’t arguments if Toji was the only one yelling.  You tried diffusing the situation while not getting emotional yourself. All for the sake of not disturbing Megumi. You tried your best to calm him down, asking what made him feel this way. That he can talk about anything that’s bothering him and you can help him.
But how can Toji say what’s bothering him when it’s you.
Nonetheless, you already knew it had to do something with you. Even if it wasn’t spoken out loud, the strain between you and Toji involved you in some way shape or form. But to know it was because of people around you two, specifically Megumi, seeing your dynamic in the relationship. You couldn’t help but feel hurt knowing Toji was rejecting you, let alone being mad at you for being involved in his and Megumi’s life.
Out of respect for Toji, you would correct anyone and everyone when they see you in public with Megumi. Especially when Toji is with you two. Unfortunately, some of the ‘arguments’ happen because someone commented how you cared for Megumi or the cute little family you three are.
While you would've been content with the compliment, you knew you had to shut it down because you weren’t Megumi’s biological real mother, nor Toji’s wife. Saying you were a close friend rather than girlfriend since it didn’t feel right either. You even corrected Megumi’s school teacher too.
“Actually, I’m not Megumi’s biological mother. I’m just a friend of his father that helps out. That’s all.” As you left with Megumi, his teacher felt confused and melancholic by your answer. To her, you were his mother from the way he talks about you in class.
You begin to correct Megumi whenever he tries to call you Mama. It didn’t matter where it was, you tried making it a habit for Megumi to just call you by your name. At first, Megumi followed along with it. But as time went on, there were slip ups. To a point Megumi didn’t want to refer to you as (Y/N), he wanted to call you Mama. You’ve now understood why Megumi calls you Mama because you acted like one. The only one he’s ever known. The aching pain you felt when you forced yourself to correct him grew. For a child not of your blood to call you his mother, it's an honor and blessing. However, you don’t think Toji would agree.
You had a feeling there was something else you were unaware of that’s got him like this. And it wouldn’t be until your recent ‘argument’ with him is when everything clicked. While carrying the laundry basket of freshly folded towels, you accidentally bumped into one of the photos and knocked it to the floor. The glass covering shattered and pieces of it fell out. It wasn’t a loud smash but loud enough for Toji to come and see you trying to clean up the pieces.
“What are you doing, (Y/N)?”
You flinched at how dangerously low his voice sounded, teetering on frustration. Still kneeling on the floor, you slowly look up and see Toji towering over you. You could never forget how huge and daunting he appeared, or his eyes as he looked down at you.
“I accidentally knocked the picture frame over and it broke. I’ll clean it up, Toji. I promise–”
“No…Let me do it…”
“But Toji, I was the one who made the mess. At least let me–”
“I SAID LET ME DEAL WITH IT, (Y/N)! JUST FINISH PUTTING AWAY THE LAUNDRY AND THE DAMN TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM!!!”
That was the loudest you’ve heard Toji yelled, louder than he spoke to you before. Scrambling to your feet, you grabbed the laundry basket and scurried away into the hall. Though you looked over your shoulder for a split second, you saw Toji crouching down to pick up the broken frame. Then, you caught the glimpse of which photo you accidentally broke. It was a solo picture of his late wife, smiling brightly in a field of sunflowers. The truth began to resurface no matter how much you tried to suppress it. Biting your inner bottom lip to not let a single whimper escape, your eyes glazing over with tears. As you walked further away, you didn’t miss the sniffle from the other direction. Or how Toji didn’t ask if you were okay or hurt when he came to check it out.
As you busy yourself with your chore, everything started to fall into place.
His lingering eyes whenever he saw a small family together or a mother with her baby. The way his gaze had a hard time tearing themselves away from a married couple enjoying their day together. His eyes were full of frustrated longing and desperate yearning. You never dwelled on it thinking he zoned out. Now, your memories become crystal clear that he always had sad eyes. You noticed because he had them when Megumi took his first steps towards you. Smiling and giggling as you coaxed him to continue walking until you caught him in your arms. You were so happy, proud of this milestone of Megumi’s. Then looking over at Toji, you saw his smile but his eyes told a different story as he replayed the video he recorded on his phone.
They were always there, right in front of you for the past three years.
Then came the distancing, his spontaneous rage, lack of intimacy, and the prevalent resistance in allowing Megumi to accept you as his mother.
Now you know, after piecing everything together…
Toji’s longing was wishing his beloved was there with him. It should be her playing and caring for Megumi, not you. It should’ve been her with him and his son, their complete family. But she was gone and you were here instead.
It all went back to her. His late wife and Megumi’s mother…
You didn’t know when it started but you knew your exact feelings when it did. Every time you look at her in the multitude of photos around the apartment, a wave of bitterness and jealousy envelopes your heart like a suffocating hug.
With it came resentment. Then hate, hatred towards her, his wife and only love. Oh how you wished you were Megumi’s mom instead of her. Longing to be her in order for Toji to love you. So you can be loved by him…
That’s when you caught yourself and the fresh thought that left your mind. Once you grasped that thought of yours and the feelings behind it, you were mortified with yourself. How could you ever think like that about someone? Someone who’s life was cut too short and unfairly when it was just getting started? Towards the deceased wife of the man you love and mother of the boy you grew to love as your son?
‘What’s wrong with me…WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME!?!?’
Never in your life have you felt disgust for yourself until now. Ashamed of how you allowed these deprave emotions to fester from within for so long. This was beyond unhealthy, almost demented to feel towards someone you have never met before. Not only was this detrimental to your relationship with Toji and Megumi, it was detrimental to yourself to harbor feelings that would eventually corrupt you.
But another thought popped up in your head, a realization that completely shatters your heart.
There were barely any photos of you with Toji and Megumi. Let alone any pictures of you around their home, no traces of you. It was like pouring salt in a gaping fresh wound. That’s when you knew Toji didn’t love you. Nor was he ready to love again. The distance he kept no matter how much you gave yourself to him, helped him, or opened up to him. The walls you tried so desperately to break stood tall and thick, your hands bleeding the more you clawed at it. Your attempts weren't taking you anywhere.
No matter what you did, Toji always kept you at a distance. That after five years of being with him and Megumi, nothing has changed or is willing to.
For it to take three years to have this realization, you bitterly laughed at yourself for staying so wistfully blind to the writings on the wall.
The situation was complicated. This was complicated. You don’t blame Toji for mourning the loss of his first and only love. But it had been almost five years since then. You understand everyone mourns differently and in their own way. Grief never truly goes away, you only learn to coexist with it. But Toji’s grief cuts deep and runs long, making his yearning for his late wife strong. Stronger than what he has with you. To his credit, however, Toji doesn’t hate nor is meant to be hostile toward you. In fact, he deeply cares about you. Yet, he fears by letting you in like he did with his first wife meant he would be replacing her. To forget her and what they had together, moving on from her. Toji was a man with very few fears, but this was one of them and it terrified him to no end.
And yet, here he was. Self-sabotaging himself because of longing, fear, and grief.
Toji knew the reason why your relationship is at its current stage is because it was his fault. He knew he was pushing you away, keeping you afar but within reach. This was all his doing, and yet he can’t bring himself to fix it. No action, no fight, no attempts of saving what will become of your relationship.
It is selfish of you. You never made it your mission to replace Toji’s first wife and the mother of Megumi in their lives. But you wished Toji would give himself a chance to love you as you already did for him. In the end, you couldn’t force Toji into something he wasn’t ready for which pains you immensely.
You couldn’t stay with him, continue being with Toji. Not when this is what you and Toji’s relationship has become. Unlike any sane person, you were reluctant to leave because it meant leaving Megumi behind. You have grown so attached to him, treating him so fondly and tenderly. Of course you did! You watched this kid grow up for the past five years! You remember when Megumi was a baby with no teeth, now he’s a growing toddler who can speak full sentences. Megumi was in a fraction of your life, but you were there for all of his. Then the thought of you, the only mother figure he’s known his entire life, to suddenly leave and never return made your soul howl in agony and anguish. Megumi shouldn’t be caught up in this but he was right in the middle.
You soon left once you were done, your heart bearing an excruciating weight with each passing minute. This wasn’t good for you, neither is it for Toji or Megumi. So you had to make a decision, a devastating one that would befall on everyone involved. But it was the only way to not hurt yourself and put you through hell anymore. As you drive home, you recall a crucial conversation with your best friend. The memory grows stronger as you deal with this relationship.
Tumblr media
‘‘WHAT?!? Excuse me, (Y/N). But can you please run it back for me one more time?’’
You were having a hangout with (Best Friend’s Name). Due to lack of align schedules, you haven’t been able to physically fill her in on your personal life. Though when an availability arised, you didn’t expect the hangout to go this route. Then again, it shouldn’t be a surprise to you.
‘‘Okay, okay, okay. Let me get this straight, (Y/N). After almost five years of being together, Toji still hasn’t moved on from his late wife? Doesn’t want Megumi refer to you as his mom even though his own dad doesn’t say anything about the kid’s own biological mother to him? Then blows up on you for the smallest things even though you’re genuinely trying to help?’’
Your silence was everything she needed for an answer. A sigh was evoked from her as she took a deep sip of her espresso latte.
‘‘(Y/N), I love you to hell and back but you need to get out of this relationship. I haven’t met Toji myself so I can’t jump to conclusions. However, I do know his hurting is becoming yours. It’s seeping into you, (Y/N). You’re only trying to be by his side, nothing more and nothing less. But this isn’t good for you, (Y/N). Both for your physical and mental health. I can tell that you are stressed by how tense your posture is, and I know you long enough to know you’re not so rigid.’’
You sat there stunned, was it that noticeable? (Bsf/n)’s eyes look at you through her cup, unchanging by your shocked expression. She inhales deeply, feeling the gravity of the situation before you did.
‘‘I…just didn’t even notice, (Bsf/N).’’
‘‘Well you should. As your best friend and sister by bond, I’m just looking out for you. Meaning, you deserve better, (Y/N). This is unhealthy and you know it yourself. You deserve someone who will love you for you, not hold you to a standard of their previous lovers. Someone who values what they have together with you, not endlessly yearning for something of the past.’’
‘‘(Bsf/N), please—’’
‘‘(Y/N), I’m being serious. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not shitting on Toji for grieving over his losses. But if he’s not willing to accept your help and presence, then he never will, no matter how much you wait. If Toji is stuck in the past and can’t be here in the present with you and his OWN son, he’s going to stay in the past. It sucks that you are suffering from this when you did nothing wrong… And Megumi… Fuck, (Y/N). He’s suffering too, this isn’t going to be easy if you fall through with it. But I need you to know that your health is your top priority and I will have your back one hundred percent. If you even needed, you could live with me. I’m just a call away, (Y/N). Remember that, please.’’

Megumi knew something was off when he saw you two were waiting for him. The gap between you two that was once miniscule has become wide and spacious. Other’s assumed it was to make room for Megumi himself. But the kid knew something was amiss when your smile was paired with dimmed eyes, sad eyes. He’s never seen eyes like that before, and frankly, it was scaring him.
Megumi is intelligent for his age, too intelligent for his liking. He knows that his dad has changed around you within the past few years. Honestly, he hated it because he saw more frequently you were lost in thought. Absentmindedly doing chores but your body devoid of your loving aura.
Unfortunately, this was causing the young boy to become frustrated with his father. Especially when he hears Toji’s yelling at night, the walls muffling the true volume of Toji’s voice. Knowing you were the one it was being directed towards. It got worse when Toji told him you weren’t his mom.
Wasn't his mom? Who was then? The smiling lady in the numerous photos around the apartment? “Okay, yeah sure, Dad,” Megumi thought.
He knows of the woman in the photos, but Megumi doesn’t know her. He doesn’t believe that’s his mama when you have taken care of him his entire life. Genetically, he doesn’t have anything from you. But you treated him like the moms of his classmates. Therefore, you were a mom, his mom.
He doesn’t like the fact his dad is denying it, seeing how it’s starting to take its toll on you. But the poor boy didn’t know how much damage had already been done. For that reason, his gut feeling told him to hold you close for dear life. He couldn’t explain it as his vernacular being limited for his age.
So he breaks out in a sprint towards you, not his dad. You blinked a few times before looking down at Megumi hugging your knees tightly. You and Toji gave each other a look before you crouched down to be at Megumi’s level.
“Megumi, what’s wrong?”
He shakes his head as you rub his back softly to coax him into saying something. He was not budging and you gave Toji a concerned look. Toji sighs before proceeding to pick up Megumi.
“Come on, kid. Time to go home.”
But as soon as Toji’s hands were a few millimeters away from his son’s body, they were immediately smacked away. He stares with wide eyes at what just happened. Megumi didn’t care as he clung to your neck for dear life. Knowing Megumi was going to throw a tantrum, you and Toji decided it would be best for you to hold him.
On the walk home, Megumi’s answers were curt. A simple yes or no. You ruled it as him being cranking with a needed nap. Once home, you put Megumi down but he was glued to your bottom clothing for dear life. He never left you alone for a second. If you went to the bathroom, he’ll simply wait outside the door for you. Megumi also didn’t spare Toji one glance or spoke to him at all. It lasted up to dinner too. Megumi only answered and spoke to you only. If Toji did ask him something, he gave a plain answer.
Toji thought Megumi had a bad day so he let it slide. After putting in Megumi for the night, Toji sat at the table reading the newspaper while you washed the dishes. Tension wasn’t thick but it was there. Present enough that a rug couldn’t hide it. The both of you knew what the tension was about, it was who will be the one to bring it up first. The standoff lasted a few minutes when the first voice spoke, your voice.
“I don’t think we can continue on like this, Toji…”
Your words falling like dominos, setting off the inevitable confrontation.
“I can’t…I can’t have this relationship with you anymore, Toji.”
Although the man in question knew this was bound to happen, it didn’t stop him feeling a pinch of fear and guilt once it came.
“(Y/N), don't be like that. We can work this out–”
“Can we, Toji? Because every time we did, it always ended in an argument. The ones where you’re the only one yelling while I just take it…”
Once mentioned, Toji’s shame slowly took over his body. He was aware he always yelled at you, putting you through pain when you don’t deserve it. You never deserve any of it really. But Toji couldn’t bring it to him to apologize and make it up to you. Was it because he knew you would forgive him every time? Or was it because you allowed it to happen for the sake of keeping him and Megumi happy? He took you for granted, now he was facing the brute force of his consequences.
“Toji,” You paused before sighing. “I’ve been with you for five years yet our relationship hasn’t changed. I don’t know what I’m even to you… This has been the most confused and lonely I’ve felt. I know you stopped loving me, Toji…If you even loved me at all.”
Toji grunts and clears his throat, placing his paper down before looking at you.
“(Y/N), it’s not like that.”
“Then what is, Toji? Tell me, be honest and open your heart to me just this once. Tell me, truthfully, what this is to you? What am I to you?”
“I care about you, (Y/N). I like you a lot. I really do”
There, that was it for you. The nail in the coffin. This wasn’t the last straw that broke the camel’s back, but it confirmed everything that was already there. All telling of how Toji felt and saw you. You didn’t let it surface but you would have winced at the last part of his answer. ‘Like’, he’s always said that. Not once has an “I love you, (Y/N)” has left Toji for the past five years. Now knowing it will never come. It was decided from the start.
“Then I guess this is it for us, Toji.”
Before Toji could ask you what you meant, a muffled crying could be heard from Megumi’s room. You inhaled deeply and exhaled some of the weight off your chest before hanging the drying rag by the sink. You look at Toji with somber eyes before heading off to his son’s room.
“We’ll finish this in the morning, Toji.”
You peaked your head into Megumi’s room seeing the boy sniffle as he closely clutched his stuffed dog you got him. You closed the door softly and kneeled down by Megumi’s bedside. Making your presence known, Megumi looked up and jumped into your arms. You hugged him close, patting his back.
“I wanna sleep with Mama.”
Your breath hitched at the word. You loved when Megumi called you mama, but you weren’t her.
“You wanna sleep with Papa instead of (Y/N), Megumi—?”
“No! I wanna sleep with Mama!”
While you were a bit blown away by the kid’s declaration, you honored it as it would be the last time you get to hold him like this.
“Okay, I’ll sleep with you, Megumi.”
You set up a spare futon from Megumi’s closet and placed it on the floor. Tucking both of you in, you kissed his forehead as you held him close.
“Goodnight Megumi…I love you…”
“G’night, Mama…I love you too…”
Toji finds the two of you asleep. He could go sleep in his own bed but decided not to. Not tonight, at least, because he didn’t want to be alone. You stopped sleeping in his bed a year ago but Toji still didn’t get used to your absence in his bed. Even if he was the reason why you stopped.
He joins the two of you on the floor. Megumi on your right as you lay on your side, back turned towards the empty space Toji decided to occupy. His fingers and arm itched to pull you close, to hold you tightly against his chest. While battling his temptation, an image flashed in Toji’s mind. It was fast but Toji can make out what it was showing him.
Megumi was laying on your chest, snoozing away as you slept peacefully. Then the next image shows Toji with a gentle smile as he caresses your cheek then his hand moves to pat Megumi’s hair. Oddly enough, he didn’t hate his mind for conjuring up that imagination. He welcomed it earnestly.
He satisfied his itch by loosely draping his arm over your side. To him, this would suffice his need to be close, to be near you. To hold you in a somewhat intimate way before you disappear from his life.
Tumblr media
For a kid his age, Megumi has impeccable social awareness and perception. But with that, he struggles to properly describe the situation with his limited vocabulary. It’s morning of the next day, and he notices you still hold the same eyes from yesterday. During the morning, he constantly asked if you were okay, if you needed something, checking up on you any way a child can. However, you replied you were just tired and under the weather, always sending Megumi a smile every time he asked. You didn’t want to worry the young boy for the truth will traumatize him and shatter his innocent reality.
Toji knows the evitable will happen as he hears Megumi be concerned for you. Even so, for you to not involve his son is something he’ll silently be grateful for. As Megumi plays on the floor by the coffee table, you and Toji finish off the conversation from last night.
“(Y/N), we’ve been together for five years. You can’t simply throw it away.”
“Five years doesn’t mean anything, Toji, if the relationship doesn’t change or grow. Also, how can you say that I am throwing all of this away when it became one-sided for half of it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was like that from the start.”
Toji’s eyes closed in on you as you stood your ground. You were leaning on the counter while he was sitting at the table. You looked at him exhausted and defeated. How come Toji is so adamant on keeping this alive when he was the main reason you made your decision? Was it guilt? Loneliness? Manipulation? It could be all three but you didn’t have enough in you to question it.
“Fine then, I’ll admit I haven’t been treating you the best lately. I shouldn’t have exploded on you like the way I have for the past few months.”
“You have been doing it for almost a year, Toji. Not a few months.” You stoically corrected Toji.
Toji sighs once again, but it wasn’t out of frustration. Rather it was out of acknowledgement.
“Then I apologize for it. I knew what I was doing but I was stubborn to say sorry. But we can’t end like this, (Y/N).”
“No, Toji. That’s not how that works. Even your apologies won’t fix this. ”
“Then say it, (Y/N). Why are you breaking up with me after being together for five years—?” Toji says as he gets up and slowly walks towards you. Aware how he uses his size to intimidate and coax answers from people, you got used to his antics.
“Because Toji, you’re not ready. Even after me being by your side and through everything, you are still not ready to be in a serious committed relationship.”
Toji raises an eyebrow and squints his eyes at you. His action doesn’t phase you, as you stare back with unshaken eyes.
“What makes you say that, (Y/N)? How are you so sure about me not being ready–.”
“Then tell me, Toji Zen’in, you love me. I have been saying I love you to you since the second year out of the five. I know I loved you, Toji, and no one else. If you say it back to me and truly mean it, then I will get down on my knees and formally apologize for my assumptions and accusations towards you.” You spoke unwavering and firm, no sign of tremble or stutter as your eyes held the same expression.
Like a deer in headlights, Toji stood frozen with wide eyes. He was caught off guard by your statement. To say he loves you wasn’t such a hard statement but it held so much significance. The last time he said those words with utmost conviction was towards his late wife. Now he had to say those words in order for you to stay. Toji deeply cares and looks out for you in ways you aren’t aware of. But for you two to have this conversation meant he wasn’t fulfilling his role and promises to you. He let his fear of love and vulnerability hold him back in your relationship and you suffered from it. His throat snapped shut when he tried to fill the air with words to buy himself time. Toji’s mouth was open but nothing came out, not the fabled three words to make you stay.
Seeing his mouth open but devoid of an answer, the door you kept open for so long now quietly shuts itself. Locking out whoever it was available for, purposefully locking Toji…and Megumi…out of your life. With a crestfallen smile, the stare you held softened as you shook your head.
“I’ll see myself out then, Zen’in-san. It’s unfortunate what we have had to end like this. But do know I don’t regret this or my love for you and Megumi.”
Megumi is standing by Toji as you say goodbye. You hugged Megumi tight, soaking in the warmth of the kind child one last time before you walked out of his life forever.
“Megumi, promise me you will be a good and kind boy, listening to your papa?”
Megumi nods while being pressed to your shoulder.
“I have to go, Megumi… I love you…”
Megumi breaks away to look up at you, staring into your eyes. There was a slight warmth to them making him break into a small smile.
“I love you too, Mama…”
You smile warmly to him one last time, memorizing him so he wouldn’t fade from your memories. You kissed his forehead before entering your car and driving off. Toji didn’t get angry at what you said to Megumi. Nor did he when Megumi referred to you as mama. He was feeling too downhearted at your departure, his son waving at your fading car in the distance. Unknowingly that would be the last time Megumi would ever see you.
Megumi waited for you the next day, asking for you. Toji thought he could avoid giving Megumi the truth but he caved in when he started to miss your presence.
“She’s gone, Megumi…(Y/N) won't be here anymore…Mama’s not coming back to us anymore…”
Then a loud sob escaped the child, his voice shrill and full of heartbreak. Megumi’s tears were endless and no amount of comfort from Toji could calm him down. Toji can hear his son cry out your name and ‘Mama’ during breaks from his wailing. Megumi’s wailing only stopped because he completely cried himself to exhaustion. Even when Toji tucks him into bed, Megumi’s whimpers for you in his sleep. Toji closes his eyes as he sits at the kitchen table alone and cold. His face in his hands as his reality comes crashing down on him. He should’ve fought you to stay, fought to keep the relationship, to make it up to you so you wouldn’t leave them. To leave him alone with his son.
Fully dawning on him that he misses you, your smile, your laugh, the sound of your voice, your kindness and compassion. He laughs at how ironic the situation is. He has the audacity to take you for granted after everything you’ve done for him and Megumi. Took your love and loyalty for granted after being with him for five years. Then now you rightfully leave and he gets all depressed and heart-broken even though it’s all his fault. Toji lets his tears freely fall from his face as he lost another person in his life. But why does your departure leave a huge hole in his heart? More gut-wrenching and devastating than of his late wife’s passing?
He ponders on it as he sits with his lonesome pathetic self. Not realizing the spot he sat in was your designated seat at the kitchen table.
This wasn't easier on you either. As you drove away, your eyes kept flickering between the road and the rearview mirror. Forcing yourself to catch Megumi’s wave as he and Toji become specks in the background. The drive wasn’t long but it felt like an eternity getting to your place. Becoming agonizingly slow due to sensing your breaking composure and the dam of tears cracking as the minutes past. Parking in front of your place, you let everything loose. You didn’t stop the rush of tears nor held in your sobs any longer. You cried your heart out inside your car, not finding enough energy to do it in the confines of your apartment. You didn’t care how crazy and pitiful you looked to any passersby. You needed this out of your system because the pressure of your emotions became too much. After a good 30 minute crying session, you take a deep breath while sitting in the car.
You fished for your phone and dialed a phone number, wiping your tears away with a sniffle. The phone rings three times before the call goes through.
“(Y/N)? Is everything okay?”
“(Bsf/N)…Remember what you said a while back? I hope you can honor it…Because now’s a good time for it…”
“Hold on, (Y/N)…I’m coming over. Give me seven minutes, hang in there for me.”
The call ends as you stare up at your sunroof, seeing blue hues of the sky bleeding into orange. You laid back into your seat. Focusing on your breathing as your arm draped over your eyes. Your body ached and stung everywhere. Though you were done crying, your heart was in a million pieces and lost all of its warmth. You mumbled out something as you waited.
“I’m so sorry, Megumi…Mama is so sorry…”
Tumblr media
A week later, Toji goes to your apartment complex to attempt any possibility of trying again. He walks up to your door and knocks. Around this time, you would usually be home and decompressing from the day. He didn’t see your car but it’s probably getting an oil change. You did talk about getting one soon in the upcoming weeks. He would have knocked again if it wasn’t for one of the neighboring tenants.
“Hi, um, sorry to bother you, sir. Are you friends with (Y/N)?”
Toji’s fist froze mid knock as he turned to the young woman who addressed him.
“I am, actually. I just needed to talk to her.”
“Oh, I see. Excuse me for intruding but unfortunately (Y/N) doesn’t live here anymore.”
Toji’s breath got caught in his chest along with his heart to a standstill. The only thing Toji could feel was the light breeze that passed by. He slowly pivoted his body to face the tenant, looking at her with a strained expression.
“I’m sorry. What do you mean she doesn’t live here anymore?”
“Some time last week, she sold her space and moved out. All within a day too. No one knew she was leaving, but it didn’t look like she was rushing to leave. I ran into her actually after she turned in her keys. I asked her why she was moving. Her answer was she found a place for a good deal and it was closer to her work so she took it. It’s a shame, she was a really good neighbor too. Everyone in the complex loved her.”
Toji felt his blood freeze over and his hand became clammy. Last week was when you broke up with him but he didn’t know about this. You never mentioned moving or finding a new place when together. He mentally curses himself at how fast you were slipping away.
“Thank you for the information, Miss. Did she mention where she was moving by any chance?”
The woman thought about it but shook her head.
“Sorry, but she didn’t say where. I would assume the heart of the city but that’s me guessing. Sorry that this isn’t much.”
“No, it's fine. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it. I’ll leave now so I’m not trespassing here.”
Toji goes to leave but the tenant remembers something.
“Wait! Excuse me again, but I just remembered something else. When I was talking to her last week, I couldn’t help but notice her usual smile doesn’t reach her eyes. Her eyes felt sad like they lost some sort of warmth to them. I didn’t want to be rude but I can tell she was dealing with something painful. If you manage to run into her, please make sure she’s alright.”
Toji’s heart starts to bleed at her observation. He really fucked up, didn’t he? So bad that people are starting to notice it. He could’ve had a good life with you and his son, he looks back on it now. He could have had it all but he self-sabotage himself, ruined everything for him, for you, and even for his son who his late wife asked to take care of as her dying wish.
After thanking the tenant, Toji books it to the heart of Tokyo. He tried calling you but an automated voice told him the number he dialed was currently out of service. You changed your phone number too? He searches through the crowds, hoping to find you in the raging sea of people. Any sign of you, just anything for him to know you were here. But you were gone without trace, just as he did with you in his apartment. With no chance of seeing you in sight, Toji curses himself once again at his undeserving nature and carelessness. He goes back home defeated, wondering what life will be like now without you in it.
Looking out the window, your eyes wandered to the busy streets below. Your mind is wondering about what Toji and Megumi are up to. It was a painful relationship, no doubt about it. But you couldn’t deny the warm memories with Megumi or how Toji treated you early on. Though they can’t be with you anymore, you could never forget those two no matter how much time passes.
You desired for things to have gone differently and worked out in the end. Unfortunately, you can’t change what has already happened.
This was your new life.
You wish things didn’t turn out this way but life goes on, even without them in the picture.

Tumblr media
Mission XXXIV-XXXV
Part 2
Pairing: !Yautja!Scar x !F!Shy!Reader
Summary: Y/n wakes up in a different place, her home no longer anywhere and instead placed within a strange cell with different Warriors watching her. Soon she's delivered to kneel in front of an Elder—next thing she knew, she was mated with Scar. Becoming first Yautja mated couple ever in their history, but for Y/n to permanently be respected as one of them, she must first become a Warrior.
Warnings: Adult language, threats, assault, scarification, death, arguments, anxiety, fluff, teasing, sexual tension, eventual smut, gentle to rough smut, clawing, biting, comfort.
A/n: The Roman numerals in the title translate to 34-35. So it means Mission 34-35 . . . Or Mission-69 heheh. I also did some studying on their language, (keyword: some.)
Fun Fact (Maybe): I saw a comic page and read that the Yautja can "speak" through their own sign language: Hand-signal of the Hunt. Or Silent Hand.
Part 1
Minors DNI 🔞 18 below the cut.

~Y/n pov~
Was my bed always this cold? I fell asleep in his arms, and I finally woke up alone in a dark place. I gasped as I backed up and hit my head on the cold wall, I shivered as I tried to figure out my surroundings. I was naked, the only thing I had was my old blanket, I hugged it as I stood up on my feet.
My thighs ached from—I shuddered remembering that I lost my virginity to whatever creature he was. I walked to the cell bars and tried to see if there was anyone here, "H-Hello?" I said, "Hello! I-Is anyone there! Can you please tell me where I am!?"
I could hear muffled beeping noises from down the halls, everything was unusual and unfamiliar for me. "Please! Anyone-! Gah!" I yelped—two large beasts walked in front of me. I stepped back and watched them, they wore similar masks with different designs. Around seven feet tall, both musclar beasts.
". . . W-Where am I?" I whispered, they clicked and growled lowly to each other. I could hear some soft of soft engine humming around us, where was I? "Please! Tell me where I am!" I begged.
They both looked to the left as another creature like them clicked out and order or some sort of command, one of them unlocked the cell before the second walked in towards me. "W-Who are you-? Hey! Let me go!" I yelped—he pulled me out by my arm and pushed me to walk forwards. I'd instantly get killed if I tried to fight any of them, I just obeyed and went along with their orders.
~3rd pov~
The Yautjas led Y/n deeper into their ship when it just landed on their planet, Yautja Prime, she was given a collar and had her wrists chained before she was brought out. She was so lost in the new world, being pulled along like a dog and shown off as an accessory to the other fellow Yautjas who lived there. Each one stared at her with confusion and judgement, thinking of her as a weak opponent to kill.
The two dragged her to a large empire, the large stairs led into a hall which opened up into a room where a Clan Leader sat. He had multiple spikes and grown dreadlocks that almost touched his thighs, his claws tapping on his throne chair as Y/n was forced to her knees in front of him.
She was terrified and lost, she held onto her blanket as she watched Scar, wearing his silver mask, approach the Elder. She couldn't understand what they were saying, but it sounded close to a argument, or Scar trying to convince the Elder to allow something. Y/n glanced behind her and saw the other Yautjas, all glancing at the Elder and Scar before down at her.
She was shaking like a leaf while she knelt there defenseless, Scar stepped aside as the Elder snarled while standing up. He raised his left hand and signaled one of the Yautjas to bring him an item; she jumped when she heard the familiar screeching of a Xenomorph before one of them killed it. The seven foot creature handed the Elder a severed finger of the Xenomorph and approached Y/n—he removed her chains as his eyes examined her frail form.
She gasped when his rough hand held her shoulder, her eyes found Scar's as the Elder clenched her shoulder for her attention. "W-What are you doing?" She asked him. "You are Blooded." The Elder said to her, his tone deeper than Scar's was. She let her eyes close when he brought the acidic finger to her cheek, scarring her skin permanently with a symbol of her Xenomorph kill.
Scar was informing the Elder of her kill, and how she managed to use one of their weapons against their enemy species, how she proved to be an ally and a warrior. She clenched her jaw in pain from the burning feeling, he then stepped back and looked at the Warriors. Y/n gulped as she reached up to feel the permanent mark on her cheek before everyone roared in unison—she covered her ears again. After they were done the Elder Yautja approached Scar and held his shoulder, clicking and snarling as they communicated in their language.
Scar growled but the Elder snarled back, before looking at her. "W-Why am I here? What's going to happen to me!" She whimpered out with fear rattling her nerves. A Yautja approached the Elder, his dreadlocks were short and he looked slightly smaller than Scar did—in his hands he carried some sort of pelt from one of the creatures that probably lived on this planet with them, something was packaged within it.
The Elder Yautja pointed at her and the Yautja walked to her before dropping it at her knees, "W-What is this?" She asked, she heard the muffled snarling and clicks coming from the other Yautjas behind her. Her hands trembled as she reached for the package, untying the skin like thread and unfolding it.
Seeing a few pieces of rather revealing clothing, if you can even call it clothing. "I-I don't think this is appropriate-?", "Dress yourself." The Elder growled out to her. She lifted the strange light green colored top that would just barely even cover her breasts. Her sides would be bare and the bottom would reveal her legs, she sighed from the outfit choice but stood up with the pieces before glancing at Scar. "Do I. . . dress up here?"
The Elder looked away and communicated with Scar instead, Y/n with no other choice, started to slip on and try the outfit, of course still having the blanket over herself. The bottom was similar to a thong beneath the hanging pieces of cloth attached to it, she pulled it up and let the cloth hang—covering just her front and rear, reaching to her knees while her thighs and waist were exposed. She grabbed the top next, seeing that it'll only cover her breasts and nothing else, she'll be showing sideboob, but hopefully the front will be hidden.
She tied a knot with the strings behind her neck and let it remain covering her chest just barely. She rechecked to see if she was fully covered before looking at Scar and the Elder who were now looking at her—she sighed and dropped the blanket. Showing her new two-piece outfit that she'll most likely have to keep on for however long she's kept here. She hugged her arms when the Elder signaled for them to leave, Scar walked to her and escorted her out of the temple.
"Why am I here? What is this place?" She questioned Scar, now covering her stomach as she passed dozens of more Yautjas. Everyone of them were males, adults or in their teen years. Some wore armor, while some didn't. The weather was warm and sunny, it didn't feel cold at all. "Where are you taking me?"
Scar led her to a further place away from the others, approaching a medium sized hut. Skulls and bones remained hanging around it, his trophies of past hunts. He led her inside left her there. "Well, this is great. I get fucked by some sort of alien, fall asleep and wake up to a knockoff Pandora planet like I'm in some sort of Avatar movie, and now I'm wearing this slutty outfit like I'm a stripper or something! I don't even know your name, that big one in that temple was looking at me like I was his next meal, I don't know what's going on and you still aren't saying anything to me-!"
"Scar." He growled as he approached her, easily overshadowing her as he watched her. "S-Scar?. . . That's your name?" She whispered as she slightly stepped back. "Top-Knot ha-as agreed to ma-ake you Blooded ally. He accepts yo-ou, but for yo-ou to keep your non-co. You mus-st become a kv'var-de." Y/n could piece his words together, but she didn't understand that word.
"A-A what? A kavalar?" Scar shook his head and knelt on one knee to be close to her height. "Kv'var-de. . . Hunter." He said. Y/n looked at her clothing then at him, "What if I don't want to become a hunter?" She whispered, "I'm weak. I'm not like you or the others out there. . . I'm just. . . Human."
He snarled, tilting his head but remained watching her, "M-di ooman can kill kiande amedha." He growled out. ". . . Huh?" His mandibles clicked as he stood again. "We te-each each othe-er." He said before walking out of the area and into another small room in the hut. She was left confused and lost in their language, how long is this going to last?
~Y/n pov~
Scar was true to his word about teaching each other something. He showed me how to sign, speak, and understand their language, after he tested my learning by signing a sentence out for me. Which I barely understood, so he flicked my head for messing up—it shouldn't have hurt as much as it did, but I forgot how much bigger and stronger he was compared to me. I'd teach him how to pronounce and understand English words and sentences, and in return, I'd be able to smack his chest—which I doubt even hurt this S'yuit-de.
He'd throw tiny insults here and there at me, call me a Hulij-bpe jehdin, which I finally found that it meant Crazy One, or Crazy Individual. So in return for learning his language, I called him S'yuit-de kv'var-de, which meant Pathetic Hunter, or Idiot Hunter. And I knew it offended him when he'd just quietly glare down at me, but I enjoyed it. At least four or three days have passed already and I've been dragged out into the unfamiliar world, I'd watch how he'd hunt and kill our next meal. It was upsetting but oddly satisfying to see. I saw the trees and strange like flying creatures that they had, but nothing prepared me to see the females who passed through.
I could feel their judgemental eyes lingering on me when I wasn't looking, they were taller than the males. Around eight feet tall at most, broader and rather aggressive. "Why are they staring at me?" I whispered to Scar. "They do not approve of ooman-dei."
They don't approve of human women. . . That explains it. They'd snap and flare their mandibles when I looked at them, I kept my eyes and head low out of submission, to not pose as a threat. I felt like I was at a new school and the mean girls were already scheming against me. Scar pulled my arm and held me against his body when a Yautja approached us, it was a female and of course she started to communicate to him.
My broken understanding of the Yautja language could only pick up so much. They rarely talk, but they used sounds to communicate to one another. The female arched her back and flared her mandibles at Scar, he roared at her before she shoved my shoulder back. Almost shoving me to the ground if it weren't for Scar's hand.
He told me about this. When a Yautja pushes your shoulder with their hand: they're challenging you for a fight.
I started to panic, my strength was nothing compared to Scar's, or even a female! I didn't know what they were clearly arguing about but it made her pissed off to the point where she wanted to fight me. And most likely kill me during that fight. "What's happening?!" I asked. She roared at me and Scar finally shoved her backwards out of defense when she tried to grab me.
He picked me up and his lower mandibles were flaring, before he carried me away from the female who was staring me down.
~~~
He didn't bring it up once, but it was on replay in my head, I'm pretty sure he sensed my confusion since he decided to lay beside me on the large furry cot. It was soft and comfortable to lay on, something I didn't expect. ". . . Scar, how long am I going to stay here." I asked him.
He raised his hand and tested me, he signed out what I could possibly read out as: Until you become Hunter. I held my head before asking, "How much time do I have until the Elders test me?"
He signed again: Two Weeks.
I groaned and laid on my back as I looked at the ceiling, I still wore the same revealing outfit before looking at him. "Why was that female mad? Did I do something wrong?" I whispered to him. "M-di. . . She wanted me to breed her." He answered.
"Why did she challenge me?" I questioned, slowly scooting closer to his larger frame and resting my head on his bicep. "I said m-di to her. I told her that you were my mate." I looked at him and felt my heart jump out of my chest. His mate. His mate!
"I-IYou told me that Yautja don't mate for life, you just. . . Reproduce?" Scar lowly purred before his sharp eyes looked in mine. "No-t you and me." He replied. I rested my face on his large pec and bit my lip, feeling that flutter of butterflies swirl in my gut when I thought of being his. His alone. He's not going to mate with anyone else except me. It then led me to getting an idea that would probably scare the crap out of any other chick, but not me, clearly I'm the crazy one for wanting to fuck this Yautja.
I sat up and sighed as I let my head hang back, "Do you still think about it? That night we spent together?" I asked him, he let out a deep growl before I turned and straddle his large hips. His eyes opened and found mine, "I still think about it." I added—letting my hips slowly grind against his loincloth, which I felt growing stiffer every passing second.
"Prove that you are not just kv'var-de, but a good Pauk-de as well." I smirked. Kv'var-de meant Hunter, but Pauk-de meant Fucker. His growl reverberated through me before he shoved me onto my back, pinning my arms above my head as he growled at me. "Do no-t temp me, Hulij-bpe jehdin." He warned, his dreadlocks brushed against my shoulders and arms. I let my right leg graze his waist as I arched my back on purpose—letting my top press perfectly against my breasts to show them off to him.
"What if I want you tempted?" I giggled, his mandibles clicked and snapped, he growled before placing his jaws on my shoulder and biting down on me. I gasped and let out a choked groan when he released my skin, licking up the blood that formed from the small puncture wounds.
"You need me to ell-osde' puak." He snarled out, I understood those words clearly: You need me to fuck you. "Sei-i." I mewled, yes, yes, I did want him to fuck me. I don't know what's been up with me, but I've been craving more of Scar ever since I got here. I've been pissing him off to make him snap, but clearly he has restraint. Maybe all I needed to do was make it obvious.
I lifted my hips into his and bit my lip when I felt his erection, "Come on, puak me, Scar." I purred. His jaws snapped in front of my face, I only responded by lifting my head and licking his mandibles. He held my wrists down with one hand, and let his other reach down to move my cloth to the side. A soft sigh left me when I felt his large length rub against my folds, "Kwei ooman-dei. . ." He snarled. Sly human woman.
I wanted to try something I've never done, but I wasn't sure. "Scar, please." I begged. His repetitive clicking was a sign of him chuckling at me, I whimpered when he notched the tip of his unnatural cock inside of me. Slowly pushing each inch into me, I could feel my cunt being stretched and accepting his invading length.
His hands clenched my wrists while he continued to sheath himself inside of me—finally gasping when his full cock was buried inside of my velvet canal. My legs hugged his sides as I arched my back, "Scar!" I moaned out; his scale covered body was emitting heat onto mine, his hand undid my top before he cupped my breasts. Squeezing and kneading them—exploring my body with his hand.
Slowly, he started to roll his hips into me. He earned multiple mewls, grunts, and moans from me; hisses and growls came from him, his tongue trailed up from between the valleys of my breasts, up my throat and into my mouth. I whined as I pressed my tongue against his forked one, he pulled out and heavily thrusted himself into me.
"Eek!" I yelped, I felt his claws tickle my side as it brushed down the side of my ribs and my waist to hold my thigh open. He watched as he slowly pulled out to the tip—then sinking back into me. Purring as he enjoyed the sensation of his cock being squeezed by my tight cunt, "More, more, Scar!" I pleaded as I clenched my knuckles.
Scar enjoyed being in control, taking his time and relaxing in the experience. He told me that the females were aggressive during their mating, and from what happened this morning, I believed him. Scar's pumps into me was satisfying to hear, it felt so amatory. He finally released my wrists and gripped my hips—he stood on his knees and lifted my lower body off the bed. I cried out when he continued to fuck me in such a lewd position.
It was so hot to see this Predator take what he wanted from me, such a sweet way but with harsh strength. "Ngh! Yes! Yes! Scar! Ah, keep going!" I exhorted out. Scar's snarls turn into a growling purr as he dug his nails into my flesh—I felt his thrusts get a bit harder. My mouth was agape as he started to get quicker with his grinding. He stilled inside of me fully for a moment and lifted my back towards his face—dragging his tongue over my breasts and tasting me.
I hummed with satisfaction as I let my body melt in his hands, he was so strong, it didn't bother him to hold me and fuck me at the same time. I touched his dreadlocks and licked one of them, he roared before he started to piston his cock up into my stretched cunt. "Oh fuck!" I screamed out with agonizing pleasure. The room was already hot and so was the weather, my body was shedding sweat as he grinded his musclar self onto me.
I dug my nails into his shoulders as he kept going, moaning at each heavy pump he made—my nails dragged down his skin but he didn't care. I doubted he even felt it. His skin texture was so different compared to mine, his strength, his eyes, his demeanor and culture. Everything was unique about him.
My end was nearing, I was going to cum, I was so close to cumming. I let my hand started teasing my clit as he kept fucking me, his large paw cupped my head while he wrapped the other around my waist—still keeping me midair. Weak and broken gasps croaked from my soaked lips as he kept getting rougher.
That tight band—tighter and coiling up in a tight ball, about to blow. The light from the stick of dynamite about to denote within my nerves—my hands instinctively grabbed his dreadlocks and held on. He roared again and hugged my torso tightly. Thrusting faster than before, my tongue was hanging out like a bitch in heat, my heart racing faster than a race horse as I finally squealed—feeling my juices coat our lower areas.
The spark ignited and finally blew. The shocks burned through my limbs and my sight went white as I shut my eyes, my breath lost from my lungs as I climaxed on his thick cock still ramming into me. My sensitive squeaks and cries were ignored by Scar—he was lost in the wave of his own pleasure.
I knew we'd be here all night, I'm tired out, but he won't be anytime soon. He told me he finished quickly last time because I was exhausted, but now, I'm sure he'll stop. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and rested my head on him, he still didn't slow down. My body was beginning to feel like lead as I tried to speak. But I couldn't.
I was too exhausted by this. So exhausted, I wanted to sleep. . . Which I did eventually.
~3rd pov~
The sun had risen, and so did Y/n. She woke up to a messy cot, her top on the floor as she remained wearing the bottom piece. She woke up to an empty bed, Scar was gone and she didn't know where he went. She got up and tied on her top once again before heading walking out of the room to find him.
"Scar?" Y/n muttered, crossing her arms as she slowly walked around the hut, checking the meat room, the main area and even outside next. No sign of Scar. She was worried until she remembered that he was probably out on a hunt. Sighing, she walked to the room again and sat on the bed. Relaxing into the pelt as she thought about him.
She just woke up, fully clean and even tucked into the pelt, he cleaned her and fixed her up in bed. She lightly traced her lips with her fingers as she smiled at the thought of a extraterrestrial being treating her like a lover. Some time passed and he returned to the hut, she looked and saw him drop a strange creature on the ground before entering the room. Carrying a box with him.
She crawled on her hands and knees on the bed and sat as she looked at him, "I missed you." She said. Scar let out a deep hum as he approached her, she reached up and planted a kiss on his shoulder. A growl escaped him as he handed her the box. She took it and started to open it up, her brow arching when she saw the odd outfit.
"What is this-?. . . Wait a minute." She mumbled, pulling out a fishnet outfit with solid pieces of armor on important places such as the breasts, and the nether regions. Reminding her of Scar's own armor, she lifted the fishnet outfit and saw a silver mask that looked similar to Scar's just without the blooded mark. It wasn't big, but it was her size. Arm cuffs and a small weapon within it. She looked at him with a confused look.
"Today. . . yo-ou Kv'var." He said to her. She gulped as she looked down at the custom made armor.
Today, she hunts.
Tumblr media
They made it. They really did it.
Corroded Coffin play in front of thousands of people in a sold-out Madison Square Garden. Every single person seems to know their songs by heart and is singing them back at them loudly. They cheer and scream their names and Eddie feels like he's flying so high he's on his way to the moon.
This moment right now, right here, is what he has been dreaming of ever since Wayne gave him his old acoustic guitar for his fourteenth birthday and showed him how to play his first song. He always knew he'd end up here, deep, deep down. Never lost hope.
Well, that's not exactly true, but nobody knows that but Steve.
Because it was Steve who helped him to find that precious hope again, to rekindle the wild spirit inside him that only wanted to be heard with his music. He had almost lost that gift along with his left nipple.
The bat bites had been bad, of course. Pieces of his flesh were missing, gnarled scars littered his body, even as he decorated it with a plethora of new tattoos. They'll always be there.
But the worst part hadn't been the flesh wounds. It had been the infection. Robin hadn't been so far off in her fears back in the Upside Down, because while neither he nor Steve had gotten rabies, the bat's saliva hadn't been the most sterile substance to get into his wounds, and more than one bite had become infected as a result. The worst one had been on his left forearm and had caused some severe nerve damage.
The doctors had been able to save his arm and most of the feeling in his hand, but relearning how to play the guitar had been excruciating. The pain had been really bad, but even worse was the frustration, the white-hot rage he felt at this cosmic injustice. It wasn't enough that he was basically an orphan (because his father could be dead for all he knew, Eddie hadn't heard from him in years at that point), living in a trailer park and being labeled the town freak who everyone still thought had murdered several people. No, he also had to get mauled by demonic bats in an alternate dimension, nearly die, and fight his way back to his feet only to find out that he couldn't do the one thing that had always given him at least some peace of mind. His ticket out of this hellhole of a town, just gone. Poof.
Tumblr media
It had been one of those summer days, so hot and humid that it felt like warm water was filling his lungs and dripping out of every pore of his body. He had been sitting on his bed in just his boxer shorts and a crop top because any clothes were too much, with his guitar on his lap. Eddie had been so focused on getting this one simple tune right for hours now, his fingers raw and aching, his nerves screaming at him to please stop. Only he couldn't.
He couldn't stop, because to stop would be to give up. It would mean accepting this new reality in which Eddie Munson had lost a vital part of himself; his music.
The pain had been almost unbearable for the better part of an hour by now, but it wasn't until his fingers cramped so badly that he couldn't even hold it anymore that he threw his beloved acoustic guitar off his lap and onto the floor with enough force that it was a wonder it didn't break.
"Fuck," he yelled with bitter resignation, rising like bile in his throat and spilling out in the form of hot tears from his burning eyes, and then "Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck," a repetitive mantra of pain and sorrow as sobs broke from his aching chest.
He was brought back from the brink of a meltdown by the pressure of a warm hand on his knee, another hand cupping his burning cheek.
"Eddie, hey, man, you're scaring me. Can you look at me, please?" Steve's voice filtered through the anger and grief that constricted his chest, and Eddie lifted his wet eyes to meet Steve's hazel ones. They were bright and warm, even with his eyebrows knitted with worry. They had become close friends over the past few months and Eddie could read his face like an open book.
"That's good, you're doing so good," Steve's voice soothed some of the ragged edges of the broken pieces that had once made up a whole person. His warm hands found Eddie's left hand, still bent into a misshapen claw, and began to massage it gently.
It felt heavenly, even if it still hurt, the gentle but firm pressure slowly loosening the tightly curled digits. Eddie's breathing had slowed, as had his heartbeat, and by the time Steve had finally stopped massaging of Eddie's hand, the sun had begun to set outside.
"Thanks," he had whispered, suddenly ashamed of his outburst, "you didn't have to do that." What he meant was, 'You shouldn't have had to do that. You shouldn't have had to see that.'
Still holding Eddie's hand loosely in his, Steve simply said, "I know. I wanted to. I always want to." The hazel eyes searched and held his again. "You want to tell me what happened? You don't have to, but I have it on good authority that I'm an excellent listener."
That had made him laugh. "That's only because Birdie speaks for both of you when she starts rambling."
"Takes one to know one," Steve had teased back, and the rest of the tension had seeped out of Eddie's body. He had told Steve everything then, about his hand, his fears, his shattered hopes and dreams. Steve hadn't lied, he was a great listener. Attentive and calm, he let Eddie talk without once interrupting.
After Eddie had finished, Steve had been quiet, clearly thinking about what Eddie had told him. After a while of comfortable silence, Steve finally broke it by asking, "Is it possible that you want it too much?"
"Huh?"
"To be able to play the guitar like you used to, I mean. I feel like maybe you want it so much that all the pressure you're putting on yourself is making you so tense and stressed that it's only getting worse."
Eddie wanted to protest, to tell Steve that there was no such thing as wanting too much, but then he stopped himself. Steve had proven himself to be far smarter and more insightful than anyone had ever given him credit for, so instead of denying the possibility outright, he had asked, "What makes you think that?"
Inexplicably, the question had made Steve smile. "When Nancy left me for Jonathan, I was kind of desperate. It sounds silly now, but I thought I needed to find a girl to help me get over it, to prove to myself that I was still attractive, still a catch. Still lovable." The smile had vanished from his face at those words. "I tried so hard, it wasn't even funny anymore, just kind of sad. Robin even had a whole board dedicated to my failures. She told me to just be myself, to let it come to me instead of chasing it like a dog after a bone. It was hard to hear at the time, but you know what? She was right."
Eddie only ever knew the Steve who never had any trouble picking up girls, so it was strange to hear him talk about a time when he clearly didn't.
"So all I'm saying is, maybe take it easy on yourself. Play for the same reasons you started, not because you want to recreate someone you no longer are. None of us is who we were before. None of us ever will be. But you can become someone new. It's up to you who you want to be instead."
After his little speech, Steve had gotten up to get them a couple of beers, and they had just hung out for the rest of the night, the guitar forgotten. It stayed in a corner of his room where Eddie wouldn't see it for a week, until Eddie felt a genuine desire to play something that had been stuck in his head whenever he thought of Steve.
It was the first tune he could get through on his guitar. It was the first song he ever played just for Steve, before he leaned in and caught Steve's lips in a soft kiss for the first time. It became the song he hums whenever Steve wakes up from a nightmare, either while holding Steve in his arms or over the phone when he's on tour.
Tumblr media
So it's no surprise that this is the song they play as an encore at Madison fucking Square Garden.
"Hey everybody. This last song is for someone very special to me, so please let's hear it for the love of my fucking life". The crowd goes wild and Eddie winks at the camera that projects his face onto the big screens behind them. "This is for you sweetheart, thank you for always believing in me. You knew I could be someone new long before I did. I wouldn't be here without you and I don't want to be. Nothing makes sense without you. This song is called 'Someone New' and someday I want to play it at our wedding."
He gives it everything he's got, forgetting the last 90 minutes he's been on stage, to make these four minutes the most intense of their whole set. Everyone holds up a tiny flame with their lighters, and when they're done, there's a reverent silence before it breaks into thunderous applause. They cheer, they whistle, they scream.
Eddie doesn't hear any of it, his senses attuned to just one person he's spotted at the edge of the stage exit. He puts down his guitar, walks over to the tall man waiting for him with open arms, and sinks into them as if coming home.
"You did it, baby," Steve whispers into his ear and Eddie just buries himself deeper into his boyfriend's body. "I'm so, so proud of you."
"I love you," he replies simply, the only thing that matters with strong arms wrapped around him, the familiar scent of Steve filling his senses, and the steady beating of Steve's heart against his, the metronome of his new life as sure as ever.
It doesn't matter that they made it, not as much as the man holding him tightly, lovingly.
Eddie's new life is right here in his arms.
Hi! Imma resend my req then cause yep.
Could I pls get Nico with a super rich pretty boy (mortal) that’s like very affectionate and looks like a airhead but just like completely changes when it comes down to business like becomes super serious? And he’s like super big in making Nico blush with lavish and thoughtful gifts or trips to compensate cause he can’t like fight monsters? Feeel free to decline!
Ps: I loved ur Connor stoll x mortal fic!
Hey <333 so this was kinda changed around a bit and also mixed with a request for Nico x Son of Eros from ages ago, so whoever asked for that, here it is!
Tumblr media
red roses and ghost flowers---Nico x flirty son of Eros
»»————- ★ ————-««
-Nico doesn’t know how to react.
-First of all, touch is a big no no for him, it makes him feel claustrophobic and stuck and there’s a lot of reasons he really doesn’t like that feeling. But then you came along, and suddenly maybe if he’s outside in the open spaces and you run up and wrap your arm around his shoulder, it might just be okay.
-You just wear the prettiest rings and give him the prettiest rings, that holding hands isn’t the worst thing. Just because of the rings. Definitely. Not because of how your knuckles sit against his the way your thumb rubs against the scars covering his palms.
-His hands. Holy Hades, you seemed to have this obsession with doing that silly bow and pressing your lips to the back of his hand every time he saw you.
-Which was a lot.
-Maybe it was meant to be, or maybe it was because Nico sort of detoured a little to wander past the Eros cabin or pop into the arts and crafts center. Just to see how Annabeth was doing teaching the weaving classes, of course. Not because you were usually in the back making another little thing.
-Nico ended up with a lot of those little things. They filled an entire coffin shaped shelf in his by now, but he couldn’t exactly get rid of them. The skull shaped candle was just too on point, you must’ve found a real skull for comparison, and that was dedication Nico couldn’t just throw away. And then there was a vinyl record of an old band Maria had taken him to with Bianca. However you had found that, it must've taken a lot of time and money. It would be rude to get rid of something like that.
-Of course the bouquets were always chucked out every few days, but only when Nico had touched the soft petals with a smile too much and they’d started to shrivel.
-Nico was still convinced Hazel was the mole, running to find you every time the sunflowers or the red roses or the ghost flowers [He hated to admit that they were really cool] wilted, because then another bunch of flowers would turn up on the doorstep of the Hades cabin with a pink silk holding them together.
-Even the Mythomagic cards you’d found stayed on the shelf, although Nico already had them. They were from you. It would be rude. And they sort of made him grin a little bit. You paid so much attention, why wouldn’t that make him grin?
-Especially because, well, you could be paying attention to anyone else. Literally anyone. There were people clawing their way into the sparring classes you went to. Not that they had much of a reason to watch, you spent most of the time holding a sword and then blinking in confusion at the instructor, who’d given up by now.
-Archery was a whole different story though, and Nico had to admit, he had sort of gone to watch you do that a few times.
-On one hand, you weren't exactly bad looking, but on the other hand all he could see was Eros laughing cruelly and launching volley after volley of heart shaped arrows into Nico’s limbs in that shadowy place filled with broken statues and pillars. It was safe to say he had a bit to work through, but the fact you still ran up with a grin considering the first time Nico met you, he had a full blown panic attack and then Jason nearly bit you, he figured you couldn’t do much harm.
-The son of Jupiter still watched your interactions carefully, but Nico had convinced him to tone down the growling part.
-Then you’d both bonded over the fact that your dads sucked majorly, and now Nico was sort of concerned that Jason might steal his- his… his whatever you were [apart from way too pretty]
-Nico had to admit, you were really good looking. Something about the shininess of your eyes and the way your smile was so sharp had to be some sort of love god trickery, but it made his stomach fill with the souls of the departed and shadows to thicken in the corner.
-You didn’t even mind when the grass wilted around him and the air got a bit too cold to be normal.
-One time you even picked him up and just carried Nico princess style to the pavement that couldn’t shrivel and turn brown. That certainly helped the bad feelings inside his head take a break and admire your arms.
-He figured when you showed up one night in your normal camp clothes and a pink bow tie to take him to the first showing of Scream 6 [Nico liked explaining how many stabs it would actually take to kill the characters], that there really was no back peddling.
-So he took the bouquet of ghost flowers from you and then held both the flowers… and your hand.
Characters: Nagi × reader
A/n: so I haven't seen a single nagi nsfw alphabet yet, so I decided to make my own:3 ( pls tag me if theres one already I'd love to read it xoxo ) and also sorry for ghosting yall (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`)
Tags: implied fem!reader, cum eating, creampies, breeding, mentions of porn, masturbation, mentions or roleplay, E-sex, riding, missionary, mating press, pegging, mommy kink, somnophilia, toys ( vibrators ), size kink, impact play, orgasm control/edging, unprotected sex, penetration, mentions of threesome, oral, big dick Nagi.
I have a lot to say you see...
Learn the alphabet with me !!
Tumblr media
A is for Aftercare ( what're they like after? )
We all know for a fact that Nagi is a big slacker, but hes not that big of an idiot. For aftercare, he wouldn't be able to move much after dumping load after load in you, so he'll prepare a box of tissues in advance so that after the action he would just grab it and clean you up with a tissue and go to sleep with you.
You two will take a bath after.
B is for Body Part ( favorite body part of theirs and yours )
He loves all all of you, from the tips of your hair down to the heel of your feet, but there is one body part that he loves the most, your boobies!! I mean, you can lay on them, sleep on them, grab them, look at them, suck on them, rest his hands on it while he games, everything! What more could he want? And no he does not and absolutely does not care if they're big, small, flat, has stretch marks, scars, or anything, if they are breasts, they. Are. Breasts.
And his, is most probably his hands. So he can grab your boobs. As much as he hates moving his arms around, he loves his hands. He has complete control of them all the time, and he uses it to game too!! I love his hands too
C is for Cum ( anything that has to do with it )
Hes an accidental breeder, his pull out game is shit like he doesnt even try.. he thinks pulling out is such a hassle and the mess is just much more shittier to handle with, so he really just blows his load inside to avoid the mess. With sucking off he wants you to swallow but he also sometimes cums on your face, he thinks you look pretty with his cum on your face, licking off the drops that goes closer to your mouth.
When it comes to your cum tho, oh he gets so pussy drunk when he eats you out. Once he gets a taste of your needy cunt, he will never let go of it until his jaw locks. He'll drink every last drop like a madman, he just loves you that much.
D is for Dirty Secret ( what are they hiding? )
Before he met you and became a couple, he jerks off while watching hentai or porn. He probably has these online friends that sends him porn links that he can jerk off too. He may have shoved all of those actions at the back of his mind, but he really cant help of thinking you roleplaying as one of the actresses/characters he frequently watched.
Yeah and he came on his phone once while having E sex with you I'm sorry
E is for Experience ( do they know what they're doing? )
As I said, he watched a lot of porns before so he knows what hes doing, but when he did do it with you for the first time, he didnt know how to do what he knows he should do, so the first time was kind of awkward. But as time flies by he'll eventually get a grasp of it hes a quick learner after all.
F is for Favorite Position ( how they like to take you )
When he's feeling submissive, he loves it when you ride him on a cowgirl position or a reverse cowgirl. He also loves the face off, good old missionary, and if hes feeling motivated, the mating press self indulgent.
G is for Goofy ( how serious are they )
Hey definitely serious, it's too much of a hassle to make jokes especially when you're taking him so well. But that doesnt mean he'll be a tough nut, at the moment hell say whatever it is in his mind, and that includes puns. Yes I said it, Nagi is a pun guy, fight me.
" gotta preheat your oven 'cause I'm going in raw "
" Nagi what.. "
H is for Hair ( grooming habits )
This lazy prick is inconsistent. He rarely shaves to the point that you'll actually have to shave him yourself ( if you want him trimmed ). But it's okay because you get to stare at his dick:3 ( hes HUNG ) before that, he shaves when he feels like it, I mean taking a bath is a hassle to him so..
I is for Intimacy ( is he romantic in the moment or rough/dirty )
Dont be deceived by his cute face, this hoe is dirty as hell. An innocent look from him could mean a lot of things, since his dirty head is full of dirty thoughts. He'd whisper the most dirtiest things to tour ear when you ride him chest-to-chest.
J is for Jack Off ( do they masturbate often? )
Nagi before he met you probably jerks off atleast 3-4 times a week, depending on his mood because this big baby sometimes ignores his boner because hes too lazy to take care about it.
But after meeting you, he only jerks off when you're not around like, matches on another countries, business trips, or you going somewhere. Why would he deal with his boner when you're there ready to help him?
K is for Kink ( what kinks do they have? )
Oh boy where do I start, whenever i hear Nagi's name, i hear breeding I'm sorry. Pegging too obviously, he deff has a thing with Mommies, oh did I mention he like creampies, I can see him liking somnophilia, dont forget about his size so he has a big thing for size kink ( get it? ), maybe a bit of toys too, mainly vibrators, how many times have I mentioned E-sex already..hmm maybe orgasm control/edging, impact play, and degradation too
L is for location ( where they like to do it )
The number one spot is, obviously, the bedroom. The bed is comfortable and the privacy it provides is also comforting. Second is the bathroom, though not as comfortable as the bedroom, it's much more easier to clean up after while the shower is still running. You two love to do it in reos bathroom apartment too. And lastly, the locker rooms. Self explanatory, it's when hes too impatient to go home and just fuck you right then and there.
M is for Motivation ( what turns them on )
When you wear something just for him, something that shows off the beauty of your boobs right infront of him, and then he'll pounce on you.
Or when you give him that look while sucking his neck, he'll stop whatever he's doing and shift his attention to you.
This might seem weird but, when you cosplay as one of his favorite characters. He thinks that you look so perfect and that he'll actually put effort this time.
N is for No ( absolute turn offs or wont do )
Since Nagi is famously known for being a slacker, he'll definitely make you do most of the work in bed, but if you're feeling tired, he wouldnt hesitate switch positions and give you the loving you need.
Even if impact play is one of his kinks, he wouldnt go that far as much as actually hurting you painfully to the point that you wont like it.
O is for Oral ( do they like giving oral? Are they skillful? )
This bitch gets pussydrunk the second his tounge touches your drooling cunt. He likes receiving head, but not as much as he likes giving head. He loves the taste of you so much that he knows how your pussy works like the back of his hand. The first time, he sloppily ate you out, but given the time, the amount of times hed done it, and his talent, he sure is skilled.
P is for pace ( are they fast or slow? )
I think we all agree to this, Nagi is slow paced, he thinks moving fast is a hassle and that it'll drain his energy.
No energy = no more stamina to fuck you
He loves the way you feel when hes slow too, he can feel every clench, every twitch of your gaping hole while you feel every inch, every vein and every twitch of his wet cock.
Q is for Quickie ( do they prefer fast and hard )
Absolutely not, it's too much of a hassle for him and hed rather jerk off. A quickie doesnt really pique is interest since you cant really enjoy eachother if your in a rush.
R is for Risk ( do they like to try new things )
Hes absolutely down to try new things, as long as both parties agrees then its welcomed with open arms ( and open legs ) he'd sometime soon tell you about the dirty secret he held secret for a long time to see if you're okay with it.
S is for Stamina ( How long do they last? )
Nagi trains regularly. He definitely built up his stamina, in the U-20 match, he stayed longer in the field than chigiri, he stayed there for a full 90 minutes of running and actions so hes definitely gonna last longer than average men. Hell last about 2-3 rounds, maybe even 4-5 if hes feeling very energetic that time. Hes just a cutie patootie yk
T is for Toys ( do they use sex toys to themselves or their lover/s? )
Oh he LOVES vibrators. Any type of vibrator, he loves them all. When he feels a little cheeky, hell put a vibrator against your clit while he fucks you from behind, his slow pace just adding in to the pleasure as he randomly presses buttons on the controller to edge you for a bit.
He'll also live it if you use it on him. Play with his big cock while you put a Hitachi magic wand against his sensitive tip while you stroke him agonizingly slowly.
U is for Unfair ( how do they tease or do they enjoy suspense themselves)
Nagi likes both. He loves it when you tease him in public, putting a hand on his thighs, caressing it, getting dangerously closer to his crotch, but just to pull away. When you stare at his chest when you take off his shirt and your hands start wandering instead of putting it against somewhere he really needs it to be. Oh when you pull out when you ride him while he was on the brink of cumming.
He also loves it when he sees you stiffen up when he put his palm on your bare back when you wear backless dresses to parties. Or the way you shy away when he stares a bit too long at your breasts, taken back by its beauty ( like he doesnt see them everyday ). Or the way you whine and grind on him if he halts his movements when you're just about to get closer to your release.
V is for Volume ( how loud are they )
Nagi is Loud. He does not hold back with his desperate noises at all. He know you love it when he openly expresses that he feels oh so so good. He definitely whimpers, groans, moans, you name it. He moans out your name when he finally cums and let out breathy whimpers after that. He would also whisper some things to your ear too, he says whatevers in his mind and u mean whatever. This man has no shame.
W is for Wild Card ( random sincannon of some sort )
He wants to have a threesome with you and reo, or atleast watch reo fuck you. Hes the closest friend he ever had and did mostly of the things he needed to do, gratitude.
X is for X-ray ( how big he? )
Speaking of big, Nagi is HUNGGG like I'm not even joking. He doesnt know that hes carrying a literal monster inside his pants. It probably has average girth but his Length. I think 8.3 inches would be enough for him, I dont have a ruler rn but he has average girth but hod does he know how to use it. Two moles decorating the underside of his cock, while 2 viens with the hint of blue hue runs down to his pelvis.
Y is for Yearning ( how high is his sex drive? )
Hes above average because most of the time hell be either be napping, or gaming. You two will fuck 3-6 times a week, depending on his mood really.
Z is for Zzzz ( do they sleep after if so how quickly? )
This is nagi who we are talking about. Ofcourse hell sleep after. As I said at the beginning, he'd be pretty spent and exsaughsted after you two fuck. Hell quickly pass out/sleep after he cleans you up or you clean him up. He dowsnt wait for you to sleep tho, he might ask a few questions while cuddling but after that, hell shut down... it'll take like 10 minutes ( minus the cleaning up part ) for him to sleep.
When Bradley woke up the next morning in his bed with the worst hangover he’s ever had, he made the same old promise to himself that he’d never drink again - when he knew he would be opening up a bottle by the end of the next week.
He rolled over and his arm instinctively reached for Bri, and when it fell flat against his bed instead of over her waist, he remembered what happened the previous morning.
His head was pounding as he pushed himself up into a seated position and looked around his messy room. Various beer bottles were strewn around, and he knew he didn’t drink that much last night, let alone in his room, so he knew someone else was in here getting drunk during the party.
He really needed to start locking his door.
Bradley groaned as he sat up and lazily threw his comforter over his bed in a half-assed attempt to make it before venturing off to his bathroom. He splashed a bit of water on his face then opened the medicine cabinet in a search for painkillers, taking them dry when he found them.
When he closed the cabinet he was met with the tired face of a twenty two year old who had been recently dumped and discarded as if he was nothing but a fucktoy. His eyes were a bit red and his neck sported a dark hickey he received from that same girl who broke up with him. His scars were a light pink in color and were raised from his skin, making it look like he went face first through a glass table. He hoped they would fade fast, but he also wasn’t counting on it.
In other words, he hated his current appearance.
He scowled at himself before turning the light off and sulking back into his room. Just as he began to debate on whether or not he should just go back to bed and sleep off the hangover, his phone went off from its place on his nightstand.
Maybe it was Bri?
He felt pathetic for hoping it actually was her texting him and confessing that she wanted him back. Eli was right, she really did do a number on him.
When he unlocked his phone he was met with a name he briefly remembered hearing last night, and he tightly shut his eyes as he tried to recall how this person had gotten his number.
Y/n: How’s the hangover? Bearable enough to leave the house?
Y/n.
All color drained from Bradley’s face as he realized that this was the girl he was currently in a bet for.
God, what the fuck did he get himself into last night?
Hey, yeah, it’s bearable. As for leaving the house….depends. What are you up to?
He wasn’t sure why he wasn’t blocking your number and calling off the bet. This was bound to end in disaster, and he didn’t want to be the reason for your potential pain or heartbreak.
Y/n: I’m actually surprised you responded. I was prepared to be ignored, I thought you would’ve forgotten most of last night.
Bradley sat down and tried to recall the events of the prior night, and he wanted to punch himself in the face when he remembered what he had involved himself in. No, for what he created.
He wasn’t going to go through with that bet. He couldn’t.
But what is the harm in befriending another student? Bradley did think you were really cute last night, and if he remembered correctly, you were into him as well.
No, I remember you. You were the cute one standing alone in the corner of my dining room, right?
Your response had him laughing just a bit as he tugged off his tee and began searching for a new one.
Y/n: Guilty. That was one embarrassing fact I didn’t want you to remember. I hate parties.
After dressing himself in a white, loose-fitting tee and dark jeans, Bradley pulled open his bedroom door with one hand while he used the other to text you back.
I’m happy to know you made an exception for mine. It was nice talking to you last night, we should hang out again. This time sober.
He hoped he wasn’t being too forward, but if he was just embarrassing himself right now, UVA was big enough to avoid you if it came down to it.
He didn’t need to though.
Y/n: What are you doing later?
-
Fratley: Meeting up with this cute girl I met last night?
Your face heated up a bit as you shoved your phone into your pocket just as Sam walked through the front door. The small smile that had formed on your lips vanished as you met her eyes, and you could see the nervousness in them. “Oh, you’re home,” you state as you stand up from the couch. “Did you have fun with Tanner last night? I assume that’s where you were as you failed to come home. Nice to see you’re still alive, by the way.”
Sam dropped her jacket and purse onto the coffee table as she walked towards you. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to ditch you last night, that wasn’t what I intended to do at all,”
She sounded sincere but you were still annoyed. “As long as you didn’t intend to,” you give her a fake smile as you go to walk around her. “Tan seems nice.”
“Y/n,” she stopped you by placing her hands on your shoulders. “I’m sorry. Really, I am. Don’t be mad at me.”
You probably would’ve dropped the attitude if she hadn’t decided to say that last sentence. “Don’t be mad?” You scoffed as you headed towards the kitchen and grabbed your school bag. “I didn’t even want to go to this party, remember? I went for you, and you ditched me.”
Sam rolled her eyes as she reached down to rid herself of her heels. “I saw you talking to some guy last night, too, Y/n/n, so I didn’t leave you alone completely,”
You held back a noise of frustration as you slipped your bag over your shoulder and opened the door. “You shouldn’t have left me alone at all,” was all you said before you stepped out into the hall and closed the door behind you.
With a newly soured mood, you head out to the campus grounds, despite your class not starting for another forty five minutes.
Sam has always been like that, and you weren’t sure why you continued to put up with her. She was selfish, to put it simply, and didn’t want to show up to that party last night alone. That’s why she invited you, and that’s why she ditched you as soon as she found someone better to spend her time with.
You drop your bag onto a bench and sit next to it, pulling out your phone as you did so. Scrolling through various apps, you tune out the rest of the world as you try to calm yourself down.
While Sam never failed to piss you off at times like this, she is still your best friend, and you didn’t want to say anything to her that you would probably end up regretting in the end. This was the best way to ensure that didn’t happen.
Just as you clicked off one of the apps, a notification pops up from a number you debated on blocking more than once now, and without thinking much of it, you pressed it.
Luke♡: Can we talk? I miss you. I think we should get on the same page here, before you start school again.
 You rolled your eyes and shoved your phone in your bag. Now he wanted to talk? You had waited all summer for him to take the first step and reach out to you, but he never did. Well, not until now. “Fuck off,” you muttered and jumped a bit when you heard a laugh come from above you.
“Wow, clearly I got the wrong impression from our texts this morning,” a somewhat familiar voice teases, making you look up and meet the eyes of Bradley, the guy you met last night. “You know, I thought we connected last night, but I guess not.”
You huff out a laugh and cover your face with your hands as embarrassment takes over your body. “I’m sorry, you caught me in a mood,” you weakly defend your previous words.
“Did I? You seemed at least a little happy over text earlier, so unless you’re really good at hiding what you’re actually feeling,” he trailed off as he adjusted the strap of his bag. “Or you just got a text from someone you hate.”
You laugh again and shake your head, “Hate is a strong word,” you reply. “But, yeah, I just got a text from someone I’m not particularly fond of at the moment.”
He grins down at you and you were powerless to stop your own smile from forming when he said, “Sounds fun,” and then gestured to the empty spot beside you. “Can I sit?”
You nod quickly, moving over and setting your bag down on the ground. “Yeah,” you answer, giving him another shy smile once he sits next to you. “Sorry, you caught me earlier than I expected. I guess I’m more confident over text.”
Bradley shrugged, placing his bag next to yours. “I don’t think that’s true,” he murmured. “You seemed pretty confident last night.”
You laugh, bringing your knees up to your chest. “Yeah, well, that was when I was drinking pretty much straight vodka,” you said back. “And I’d be really surprised if you can remember any of our conversation. You were really drunk.”
“I was not,” he scoffed. “I was barely tipsy.”
“Yeah, right,” you playfully roll your eyes. “You looked like the definition of a heartbroken guy before I finally got you to cheer up a bit at the end.”
He shook his head, draping his right arm along the backrest of the bench. “Pretty sure I was the one who cheered you up,” he pointed out. “You seemed pretty down before I came over and saved you from a boring night.”
You shrugged, “It was still half boring,” you hold back a grin and take the time to look over his features. His eyes were a pretty shade of brown and you noticed that the left side of his face held various scars that were nearly fully healed. They went all the way down to his neck, stopping at the base of his throat, and you quickly looked away as you thought about how painful it must’ve been to receive them. You also took notice of the obvious hickey on his neck that looked just about as painful as the scars. “But yeah, I guess you saved me from a night of misery.”
He laughed, and it sounded like he was surprised that you had actually gotten that reaction out of him. “It was that bad, huh?”
“I just really don’t like parties,”
Bradley nodded before looking around at the campus. Multiple students were walking to and from class, and some were lounging about on the grass, and the busy surroundings had him leaning towards you. “I don’t really like them either,” he confessed, making you raise your brows in shock.
“Wait, really?” You ask, looking around as well before focusing your gaze back on him. “Why do you have them then?”
He shrugged, moving back to his original place. “So I don’t piss off my roommates,” he answered and you nod understandingly.
“Yeah, my roommate kinda sucks, too,” you mumble and feel his intense stare on you. When you look up and see his boyish smile, your face heats up and you look away again. “But I kinda love her. I mean, I kinda have to…we’ve been best friends for nearly ten years now.”
Bradley went quiet for a few seconds. “I wish I had friends like that,” he mumbled. “Or even just one. All the guys I know are pricks.”
You furrow your brows, wondering how a simple conversation with him left you feeling like you had known him for years. “So…why are you friends with them?”
He meets your eyes again. “It’s easier to not get attached to people,” he replied and you stay silent. No more words are shared between you for a few beats before he added in a much lighter tone, “So, do I get to find out who the asshole is that made you so mad?”
You let out a surprised laugh and shake your head. “No, that’s a story for another time,” you say and grab your bag. “I gotta get to class.”
Bradley stood up, too. “So…there will be a next time?” He asked and you blush a bit as he almost sounded hopeful with that question.
“Do you want there to be?” You ask in return, watching as he held back a smile and leaned down to grab his own bag.
“Yeah, I do,” he replied. “What are you doing later?”
Not wanting to miss the opportunity, you back away from him as you offer, “Meeting up with the hot guy I met last night?”
-
Fuck, you were nice. And really pretty. And really fucking nice.
How could Bradley ever go through with the dumb fucking bet when it’s you who he’d be undoubtedly hurting in the end?
He had already decided that he was going to forget ever coming up with that idea, and maybe he could even form something with you. He was still hung up on Bri, so he wasn’t planning on anything other than a simple friendship, and if he was able to get her back in the long run, then that was just a bonus.
Besides, Bradley could use a few decent people in his life, and you seemed to be far more than that.
He was actually pretty excited about hanging out with you later. Bri was kind of right, he didn’t leave the house much at all during the summer break, and he was beginning to realize that he hated being stuck inside all day when he was by himself.
Who knows, maybe this will get Bri’s attention, too.
A few hours pass before Bradley decides to text you for more details about where you were going, and your response had him laughing quietly to himself.
Y/n: I have no idea…was really hoping you would decide what we’re doing.
You seriously have no idea where to go?
Y/n: Not a single one.
Bradley laughed again before looking around his room as if it’ll help him come up with something. Just as he was about to suggest a simple fast food place, his eyes caught sight of the pamphlet he had been given a few weeks ago from some guy on the street.
He was trying to go pick up dinner for him and Bri when the guy handed him the pamphlet for the Botanical Gardens that had been recently renovated and supposedly looked better than ever.
Bradley, having a hard time saying no to people, took the pamphlet with a forced smile as he continued on his way, and he had tossed it on his dresser when he returned home with the food. He never moved it or threw it out, and when he looked it up online, he saw that the reviews for the gardens were all positive.
That could be a nice place to go to, right?
I might know a place, just as long as you’re not allergic to any kind of plant or flower. Are you free soon?
Y/n: I am not…I’m also intrigued. And yes, whenever you’re available.
He sent you the address and asked if you wanted to meet there since it was a five minute walk from campus, and you agreed. He debated on whether or not he should offer to walk with you to the gardens, but decided against it, not wanting it to seem like a date.
He was just meeting new people, that’s all.
Bradley changed his shirt to a plain black tee before leaving his room and frat house. He pockets his wallet after making sure he had enough cash in it to cover both his and your admission tickets, then he was making his way across the campus towards the entrance gates.
As he passed by the dorm Bri lived in, he made eye contact with the guy from the party last night. What was his name again? Bradley had no clue, but he was sure he would’ve forgotten it all over again when his gaze drifted to the left and met Bri’s. She was already looking at him, an unreadable expression on her face as he stood next to the nameless guy.
Bradley stopped walking as he held her gaze, and he was about to raise his hand in a wave when she broke eye contact and turned to face the guy again. He watched as she leaned up and began placing kisses to Jensen’s, he thinks, throat.
He knew she was doing it just to rile him up, that much was obvious as she glanced over at Bradley as Jensen led her back inside the building, and it was working. Bradley felt his body heat up in anger as he watched his ex-girlfriend of a single fucking day be practically carried back to her room.
She wasn’t his anymore, so he didn’t really have a right to be mad. He was also seeing other people, but he wasn’t planning on making out with you later, he was just planning on talking to you like a normal person who just got broken up with.
It made him think that Bri was seeing other people while she was with him, and he hated the fact that despite that possibility, he still wanted her back.
But he knew it wouldn’t happen any time soon. She just had to have her fun, maybe fuck a few different guys then come back to him. He just had to wait.
Not wanting her to ruin his otherwise good day, Bradley pushes his thoughts of her to the back of his mind as he leaves the campus grounds. The short walk helped cool him off, and by the time he got to the gardens, he was feeling content again. His eyes met yours, and you gave him a nervous smile and wave as you stood near the doors. “Hi,” you greeted him in a quiet voice.
“Hey,” he said back, looking down at the floral print dress you were wearing. “You look pretty.”
Your smile widens as you, too, look down at your dress. “Oh, thanks,” you trail off, looking behind you at the indoor garden. “I had on something more casual, then I looked up the address and decided to change. I hope it’s not too formal.”
Bradley shakes his head. “No, you look nice,” he glanced down at his black tee and jeans. “A lot better than what I have on.”
You beam at him, “I think you look good,” you say then quickly add, “You know, in a casual way.”
A genuine grin spread across his lips as he shakes his head again and gestures towards the doors. “Do you wanna go in?” He asked as he took out his wallet.
“Sure, but I already got our tickets,” you reach into your bag and pull out two tickets, making Bradley pause with hand still in his pocket. “I got here a few minutes before you did, so I went ahead and bought them.”
Bradley raised a brow as he pulled his wallet out. “Okay. Thanks,” he said, flipping through the few tens he had in there. “How much was it?”
You waved him off and handed him one of the tickets. “Don’t worry about it,” you say with a shy smile as you step around him and head towards the entrance. “It’s been a while since I’ve actually gone somewhere, so I don’t mind buying the tickets.”
He opened his mouth in protest, but promptly closed it again when you gave him a pointed look. “Okay,” he said again with a laugh as he put his wallet back in his pocket. “But just so you know, I plan on paying for something else in the future.”
“Hey,” you tease as he moves to stand next to you, and you both show the girl at the entrance your tickets. “We haven’t even made it through today, it’s too early to be talking about us hanging out again.”
Bradley laughed, putting the ticket in his pocket afterwards as you put yours back in your bag. “You’re right,” he nodded. “This could end horribly and we might never talk again.”
You glance back at him with a small smirk. “And what a shame that would be,”
A thing Bradley noticed even last night was that you and he bounced off each other pretty well. Whatever he put out there, you gave right back to him with the same amount of energy. It was a nice change to Bri’s constant bickering.
Bradley quickens his pace until he’s walking next to you, and as you and he walk together, he notices just how pretty you are. You looked nice earlier in casual clothing, and you looked nice now, and he was quickly beginning to realize that maybe you are his type after all.
He said to Wes and Eli last night that you weren’t, but he was also pretty drunk and wasn’t able to see you in proper lighting. Now that he’s seen you in broad daylight, he could easily say that you definitely are his type, and you were very pretty.
He actually had a hard time looking at anything else but you as you gazed around at the various plants and flowers. Your dress matched the daisies you were standing next to now, and he knew he needed to get a hold of himself before he did something embarrassing.
Yeah, you were pretty and he was attracted to you, but he was still upset about Bri. He didn’t really pay much attention to other girls when he was with her, so he couldn’t be blamed that he was feeling like this after allowing himself to talk to one after being dumped by his her.
“So, what made you choose this place?” You ask and turn to face him, making Bradley quickly look away and move closer to this red colored plant in hopes it looked like he was observing it instead of you.
“Oh, I don’t know,” he answered, lifting his hand and running the tip of his finger along the stem before turning to you. When he looked at your pretty eyes, he decided against making up some answer as he didn’t feel the need to pretend with you, and that in itself was a surprising discovery. “I got handed this pamphlet for it a while back, thought it might be worth checking out.”
You press your lips together and nod as you run your fingers along a rose bush. “Let me guess,” you look over your shoulder at him with a teasing smile. “It was some preacher that you got stuck with at the crosswalk.”
Bradley laughed unexpectedly at how spot on your guess was, and he nodded as he followed after you. “That’s exactly what it was,”
You face forward again and follow the stone path with him close behind you. “You gotta learn how to say no, Bradley,” you joke, and he was stopping in his tracks at the fact that you called him by his actual name and not some dumb nickname he hates. Bri, Wes and Eli have always called him Brad or Bradshaw, despite him telling them over and over again that he hates it.
He grew tired of correcting them on it, thus resulting in him just putting up with it. To hear you call him by his real name was refreshing in a way, and he grew to appreciate you a bit more. “Yeah, well,” he replied as he moved quickly to catch up with you again. “It gave us a place to go to, right?”
You turn to face him with a shrug, “That’s true, I guess,”
Bradley felt his heartbeat quicken at how natural this all felt, and he knew he really needed to get a grip. You were the first girl he’s hung out with in months, he just wasn’t used to anyone other than Bri.
“So, what are you majoring in?” He asked, changing the subject to a more boring one in hopes it would actually dampen the conversation, because this was going really well and Bradley had a bad habit of ruining things.
“Creative Writing,” you answer as you turn to face him and lean against a heavy stone vase. “I’ve been really into journalism for most of my life, and I got good grades in high school. My English teachers would often try to guide me into doing something with writing once I started applying to colleges.”
“Oh, that’s cool,” he hummed, leaning against the vase opposite to you. When you just playfully roll your eyes, he adds, “I mean it. I could never do all that creative shit that writers do.”
You give him a poorly hidden smirk, “You mean write?” You ask, making his face heat up a bit as he raises a brow. “That’s pretty much all we do. That and read. A lot.”
“Haha,” he said, watching the way your lips curved upwards. “You’re funny.”
You shrug as you push yourself off the vase. “I get that a lot,” you reply, running your hand along the smooth stone of the pots. “What are you majoring in?”
“Political Science,” he answered and you give him what he thinks is an impressed look.
“Nice,” you dragged the word out with a grin and he felt a smile form on his own lips. “You must be smart then.”
“Definitely the smartest in my fraternity,” he responds and you laugh with an eye roll.
“Yeah, no offense, but I think most people are smarter than your frat buddies,” you trail off, pausing by a small fountain. “I saw a few of them last night, and they don’t seem the brightest. You should give yourself more credit.”
Bradley stopped by the fountain as well and just looked at you in slight awe. Bri always called him dumb or insinuated that he wasn’t smart, so to have someone actually believe he wasn’t just some dumb frat guy was a bit reassuring.
He knew he needed to stop comparing you to Bri, but you were so different in so many ways, it was kind of hard not to. He also felt bad that he couldn’t get his ex out of his head while he was with you.
At his lack of response, you add, “But who am I to assume?”
Bradley shook his head quickly, moving to stand next to you. “No, you’re right to assume,” he said, staring down at you. The height difference was very noticeable with you. Bradley had always been a tall guy, but he looked huge next to you. It made him feel like he had to protect you for some reason, and he knew he really needed to get out of his head because this was getting a bit ridiculous. “Wes and Eli are probably the dumbest guys I know.”
You furrow your brows, “But they’re your friends?” You asked for clarification, and he nodded.
“Yeah, I guess,” he trailed off, not wanting to get into that right now. While he couldn’t stand Eli and Westley half the time, he still cared for them, despite their very unlikeable personalities. “I guess they’ve always been there for me.” Hardly, but you didn’t need to know the full details.
You give a tight smile. “Well, that’s good then,”
That conversation died right then and there, but before it could get awkward, Bradley’s lips curved into a smirk as he leaned closer to you. “I have a question,” he started, making you look up at him in interest.
“Shoot,”
His smirk grew at that. “Earlier on campus, when you had to go to class,” he paused, watching as realization dawned on you. He wore the smuggest grin as he asked, “Did you mean it when you called me hot?”
A blush spread all over your face as you broke eye contact and suddenly became very interested in the bleeding hearts next to the fountain. “You, uh…you caught that, huh?” You ask and he just nods. “Should I have not said that? I’m sorry, it’s just, you called me cute and I saw the opportunity and I took it.”
Bradley shrugged, “Because you are cute,”
The blush covered more of your face and further proved his words, “Well,” you clear your throat, beginning to walk away from him. “Now that we’ve settled that.”
“No, I don’t think we have just yet,” he called after you, catching up with you in just two strides. “You didn’t answer my question.”
You give him an innocent look that he found himself wanting to so badly corrupt. “What was the question?”
 Bradley moved to stand in front of you, successfully stopping you from walking away from him. “Do you think I’m hot?” He asked again, giving you a sly grin. “You can lie to me, it’s okay.”
You laugh and roll your eyes. “You’re hot, Bradley,” you say, making his grin soften a bit as you move past him. “But I’m sure you already knew that.”
Time went by quickly after that, unfortunately, and it was dark out when the two of you finally left the gardens. It was still summer, but the nights were slowly but surely getting colder, that much was evident as the sun had disappeared and left a cool chill in its place.
You cross your arms over your chest as you and he stand in the same place you were in before you went into the gardens, and Bradley felt bad that he didn’t check to see if the temperature was going to drop. Maybe he could’ve prevented the multiple chills that ran through both your bodies.
“Sorry,” he apologized, getting your attention as you gazed up at him with your pretty eyes. “I didn’t think it would be this cold earlier. I should’ve prepared better.”
You wave him off with a smile, “Don’t worry about it,”
Bradley looked around the dark street and squinted in the direction of the campus. “Hey,” he said as he turned back to face you. “Can I walk you back to your place? I know it’s still early, but I don’t like the thought of you walking home alone in the dark.”
You smile at him and it only grows when he offers you his arm, “Such a gentleman,” you observe, wrapping both your arms around his and clinging to his body heat. “Yes, you can walk me home.”
The walk back to campus was relatively silent, but it wasn’t awkward in the slightest. When you stopped at the doors of a dormitory, Bradley reluctantly moved his arm away, and he missed the feeling of you being so close already.
“Well, this is it,” you state the obvious with a teasing glint in your eyes. “I had fun, so…thanks, Bradley.”
“Me too,” he said back, and he was completely honest. Even though he had spent the last two hours looking at plants, he didn’t feel bored once. He knew it was because of you. “I’ll see you tomorrow?” He hoped he didn’t sound too desperate for attention, but he had a strange feeling that you wouldn’t mind if he did.
“Definitely,” you say back as you grab your keys from your bag, but before you could fully turn away, you glance back at him. “Is it okay if I call you Bradley? I should’ve asked earlier, but it kinda slipped my mind. I’ve heard others refer to you as Brad, so did you want me to call you that instead?”
Bradley grinned at you as he shook his head, “Please don’t,” he begged. “I fucking hate that nickname.”
A smile breaks out on your face and you nod. “Okay,” you breathe out. “See you tomorrow, Bradley.”
He nods, too, and watches as you enter the dorm and disappear down the hall.
You really were too sweet for him, and he couldn’t believe he made a bet on you with his fucking frat buddies. You didn’t deserve that, even if the details of the bet would never be told to you. Not as long as he had a say in it.
Was Bri even worth it? Did she even want him back? Was he just wasting his time with her when he could be spending it with someone a lot nicer instead?
Those questions loomed in his brain as he made his way across campus, and as he stood outside his frat house, he thought he had the answers when he felt his phone go off in his pocket.
Bri ❤️❤️: Hey, saw you on the quad today. Sorry for not saying hi, I had company. Nice to see that left your man cave for once.
Maybe it was working, after all.
“Are you sure you’ve got everything?” you asked, standing by the front door in a “going out” outfit for the first time since your daughter had been born six months ago. “I can cancel.”
Joel shook his head sternly as he and Sarah sat on the couch, Iris fast asleep in his arms.
“It’s your best friend’s birthday,” he said. “I won’t hear the end of it from her if she suspects you cancelled all because you don’t think I can handle a six-month old.”
“Of course I think you can handle it,” you said, offering him a sweet smile as you grabbed your purse. “I just feel guilty—“
“Baby,” he sighed, tilting his head at you. “Iris ain’t gonna remember you goin’ out one time when she was six months old.”
“I know, but—“
“No buts,” he said. “Get your fine ass out there, and take a couple shots for me while you’re at it.”
“Besides,” Sarah chimed in, pulling your eyes to hers. “I’m here as backup. Go have fun for once.”
Letting out a deep exhale, you nodded, agreeing to bury your guilt over leaving your daughter behind for the first time. “Fine. But if you need me—“
“Baby,” Joel chuckled. “We got it. Go get hammered.”
Walking over to him, you leaned down and kissed his cheek. “Thank you. I love you.”
“Love you more,” he said, tilting your chin so that he could steal a quick peck on your lips, careful not to smudge your lipstick. “Go on now before they start honkin’ and wake baby girl up.”
“Alright,” you said, walking over to the door. “Sarah, don’t let your dad try to cook anything. I’d hate to come back to ashes.”
“Already on it.”
Tumblr media
“Sarah!” Joel called from the upstairs nursery, Iris on the changing table in front of him making the biggest and grossest mess he’d ever encountered in his tenure as a father. “We got any more wipes?”
Sarah was already laughing when she walked in, carrying a new pack of wipes in hand before she witnessed the scene in front of her and started to gag.
“I’m never having a kid,” she said, covering her nose with her t-shirt.
“This ain’t the usual,” Joel said, shaking his head as he tried his best to clean up his very wiggly daughter. “Stay still, baby girl. It’s—Jesus, Iris. How’d it get in your hair?”
“I’m not even sure a bath will fix this,” Sarah said, looking disgusted. “I think we have to take her back and get a brand new baby.”
“Your mom would notice,” he said. “Otherwise, ain’t too bad an idea.”
After a thorough cleaning that left Joel scarred, Iris was set down in her activity chair down in the living room, her favorite nonsensical cartoon on while Sarah helped Joel cook some mac and cheese for dinner, her babbles filing the home.
“And to think she thought the house would catch on fire if I tried to cook,” he said, smiling at the thought of you.
“Well, in fairness it has almost happened before,” she said, earning an offended look from her father. “You don’t remember the fork in the microwave incident?”
“Shit,” he cursed, shaking his head. “You’re right. But in my defense, someone left it in my takeout box.”
“Yeah, you.” Joel chuckled, amused by her wit. “But to pad your stats, we can lie and say you made dinner tonight.”
“No, she’d expect me to start cookin’ then,” he said. “I may have pulled a miracle tonight, but my battin’ average ain’t great. Do you want to take the chance of house burnin’ down?”
“Good point.”
“Exactly. You’re takin’ the credit for this work of art.” Joel pointed at the pot of artificial cheese goodness. “How in the world am I hungry after cleaning up Iris’s shi—“
“Dad,” she winced. “I just got the image out of my mind.”
“If I gotta remember it, you do too, baby girl.”
Tumblr media
It was midnight by the time you stumbled in, waving your best friend and her designated driver-slash-husband goodbye as you cracked the front door open before heading inside. To your surprise, Joel was still awake and rocking Iris to sleep in his arms, though judging by the heavy blink of his eyelids, he was barely hanging on.
“Hey baby,” he said with a smile as you stumbled your way over to the couch as quietly and gracefully as you could to sit down beside him, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. “How was it?”
“I’m drunk,” you confessed, your voice raspy from singing along to the club’s music. “And hungry.”
“Well, lucky for you, Sarah made dinner,” he said, standing up with Iris and setting her down in her rocker before holding his hand out for you. “Come on, you drunkard.”
“How were the girls?” you asked, clasping your hand in his as he guided you to the kitchen table to have a seat while he warmed up tonight’s leftovers.
“A piece of cake,” he said, shooting you a smile from over his shoulder. “Iris had one very messy diaper incident, but besides that, she was an angel. Just like her mom.”
“Hey, I won’t be having any messy diaper incidents for another fifty years or so,” you joked, earning another grin. “You gonna love me when I’m wearing a diaper?”
“Baby, I’m older than you,” he reminded. “If you’re wearin’ a diaper, so am I.”
“Oh, I can’t wait,” you mused with a wide, drunken grin. “You can save your payback for then, have Iris see how it feels.”
“I like the way you think, baby,” he chuckled. “But I love her too much to make her go through what I went through earlier. I think I’m gonna need therapy after that.”
You stood up, finding your way over to him to wrap your arms around his waist and hug his back, too in love with him not to touch him.
“Thank you for tonight. I didn’t know how much I needed it,” you said, humming as Joel’s hand lowered from the pot on the stove to run over your forearm wrapped around his middle. “How about next weekend I watch the girls so you can have a night out?”
“Maybe one of these days we’ll both get to go out,” he chuckled. “Until then, I’m good stayin’ at home with my girls.”
Hey hey, may I request when s/o takes care of hunting dogs when they have their monthly surgeries?
oh how I love my sweet angels, they do no wrong...
also sorry I cheated, I didn't write Fukuchi or Teruko but that's my fault. yell at me if you want them, I just like writing for my fav sexy men and silly boy!
taking care of the hunting dogs while recovering from their surgeries Jouno, Tachihara, Tecchou
Tumblr media
Jouno
______________________________________________________________
"If I ever die, I don't know if I want you to find someone else."
Jouno was lying on the recovery bed, covered in a thin blanket, looking paler than usual. Whenever you saw him, he was cloaked in his uniformed cape, face hidden underneath his cap - it always gave him a sense of illusion and power. But now he was completely bare, with new red surgical scars alongside his muscles and veins.
"If you ever die? You say that like you're immortal."
He turned towards you, his usual false cheeriness now set into a thoughtful frown.
"I could easily be immortal. Then you'll never be able to get rid of me."
He smiled, reaching for you. You leaned over from your chair, meeting him halfway as he held your hand.
Taking your other hand, you brushed the tips of your fingers through his scalp, carefully separating the strands and allowing them to fall against his cheek. His nose twitched at the feeling, which made you smile.
"You're warm."
He grabbed at your sweater, pulling you alongside it. You nearly fell over, catching yourself on the small recovery bed Jouno was laying on.
"Is this sweater mine? I've been looking for it."
He sat up, making space for you on the small bed. You gladly took all the space you could, splaying your legs all over Jouno's lap.
"Do you want it back? It's kind of cold here."
Even with the sweater, you could still feel the cold air blowing in the room, keeping your skin colder than you'd like.
"No, I have a better idea."
Two hands snaked up your waist, pulling the sweater up to your shoulders. You felt your breathing cut off as Jouno forced his head through the back of the fabric, pulling at the already well-worn neckline.
You tried to adjust or move away, but were helpless as Jouno finally forced his way through the sweater - his chest pressed flush against your now exposed back as he pulled the sweater down around the both of you.
His arms pulled you close, tucked inside your little cacoon, his face burying into your neck. His nose was cold, and you could feel that he was purposefully trying to warm himself against you as his fingers traced up against the exposed skin of your belly.
"Are you happy now? You're really cold, you know."
You sat up the best you could in your position, trying to pull down your shirt that had rode up from Jouno's invasion of your warmth. It was no use, as Jouno was practically melted into you.
"I'm warmer now. You have really good blood circulation, it's nice to feel."
He was mumbling into your neck, his breath hot on your skin. You could feel his eyelashes flutter as he spoke, while his fingers drew meaningless patterns against your skin.
One of his hands reached up right towards your heart, his warming fingers pressing right against supple skin.
"Don't tell me I'm making you blush right now, I can feel it with you right underneath me."
He was nearly giggling at his cruel teasing. You groaned, reaching up and lightly tugging at Jouno's hair.
"You're practically crawling into my skin right now, what do you expect?"
You felt his chest huff in amusement, his large hands pressing against your skin. He was really trying to consume your everything, not giving you a moment's peace.
He simply hummed, the vibrations from his body tickling you.
"You know, you kind of look like the girl on the shirt."
He took out his hand and reached to trace the old and faded design, right over your chest. He wasn't going to acknowledge how your breath hitched as his finger traced along the shirt, right over your chest.
"I can barely even see the girl, surprised you know what she looks like after all this time."
Leaning back, you pat his thigh, hidden under the thin and scratchy hospital blanket. Jouno squeezed your waist in return, his thumb massaging your skin.
"I had it before I lost my sight, so to me, it still looks brand new. Don't ruin the lie my brain tells me, I want to believe that it still belongs in a landfill."
"It probably does. It's only good because it's warm and it smells like you, but I wouldn't wear this in public."
Jouno placed his forehead on the back of your neck, feeling for your warmth.
"I haven't washed this sweater in months, hope you know that's the smell you're enjoying."
You gently slapped his thigh, snorting.
"Oh god, you're disgusting Jouno! I thought you were different from other guys."
He hummed, squeezing you tightly. He was taking advantage of his position, holding you next to him in that large, worn, and threadbare sweater. Jouno was never more glad he was left alone for his recovery, since he never wanted to be seen in such an intimate position.
"I'm teasing Y/n. I really should throw this out though, we can afford better."
Tumblr media
Tecchou
______________________________________________________________
You were sick of this man already.
"Tecchou. Sit down."
"But I feel fine Y/n. I can get up just fine."
"You just had surgery. No, you can't."
It took your entire body weight to get him back down on the bed, your hands gripping his shoulders tightly. You've tried everything you could to force the man to do his mandatory bed rest, but he was just not having it.
The two of you were having a staring competition at the moment, you trying your damndest not to kill the man underneath you.
"Tecchou."
"Y/n."
"Please. You need to rest, this wasn't like the other surgeries. They literally had to operate with your organs in a bowl, they need some time to readjust."
"I've gotten back up from worse. I'm built differently from other people, I'll be fine after a few warmups."
You couldn't argue with that, technically. He was 'different' and everything but...when you came to help Tecchou recover after his recent surgery, you thought it would be different. You never realized how asinine he was, until now, really.
"Absolutely not. The nurse gave very specific instructions that you were told to follow."
"Those are guidelines. I've never followed them before and came out perfectly fine."
You didn't know if it was Tecchou's blank stare or the fact that he didn't even register how hard you were trying to push him to fully lie down. He still had the strength to hold himself up on his elbows, looking up at you from his dark mop of hair. It was all slightly aggravating, and very frustrating.
"It's not that big of a deal. It's 24 hours of bed rest. You can literally sleep it off."
Tecchou sighed, finally letting you push him down on the bed. His gold eyes looked away for a second, contemplating.
"Can you sleep with me?"
"Sorry, sex also isn't allowed in recovery."
"No I mean - physically sleep. With me. On the bed. What does sex have to do with this?"
You looked down at him. He wasn't joking.
A laugh escaped you.
"What's so funny Y/n?"
His face was serious, with a thoughtful frown and furrowed brows coating his features. It was cute, had it not been for his stubbornness.
"Nothing. Yea, I'll sleep with you. I brought a blanket, actually, so this is perfect."
You went to the bag you packed - it was stuffed to the brim with junk you thought, maybe, you might need for Tecchou's recovery period. It looked more like a diaper bag, but the food was already eaten and now the blanket sure as hell came in handy, didn't it?
"Move, I need room to sleep too."
"Can't you sleep on top of me? You don't weigh anything."
Sighing, you spread the blanket on top of him, climbing on top of the rather small medical bed. You were crouching on top of his thighs waiting for him to move.
"I won't lie down until you scooch. I'm not laying on top of a man who just had a major surgery."
Tecchou put his arms around your waist, his face neutral.
"I like looking at you. I don't mind this."
You groaned. Tecchou snorted, pulling you a little closer.
"I'll move. I don't see the point, but if it really bothers you, I'll move."
He pulled you down, having you lie right next to him. You were pressed against him, your legs still on top of his, your chest pressed against his side. His arms held you close, warm, and pressed firmly against your back.
"You're too stubborn Tecchou. I'm supposed to be taking care of you right now. You don't need to be playing strongman right now, dumbass."
You put a hand on his chest, feeling as he took in a deep, strong breath. His heart was strong, practically beating out of his chest in its rhythmic pattern.
Tecchou didn't respond to what you said, his hands holding you tighter. You reached your hand up, rubbing circles on his exposed clavicle as you simply breathed in his presence.
"I'm your dumbass, right?"
You snorted, craning your neck up to look at him. He was staring at the ceiling tiles, looking for patterns his eyes could trace.
"Yea. That's why I take care of you, even though you don't think you need it."
You leaned up on one of your elbows, your other hand reaching up to gently thumb his cheek. His eyes followed you, his eyelashes fluttering each time your thumb grazed the three dots right underneath his eye. His face was hot, but he was enraptured in watching you as your eyes drank in all of his features.
"You're still a dumbass though."
With the way you said it, it didn't even register as an insult. You spoke those words so softly, leaning close to Tecchou's face, your breath hot against his jaw. He shuddered at the feeling.
One of his hands reached up, gently cupped the back of your head, fingers entangling in your hair, and pulling you down to kiss him. Your teeth knocked against one another, lips caught in the mix before he finally caught your bottom lip. You felt his hot breath breathe against your skin, his fingers curling against your hair strands tighter as he tried to pull you in closer.
You put your hand on his chest, pushing him away enough so you could breathe without tasting him. The air felt colder without him, even if just a little further away.
"Tecchou, you're supposed to be recovering. Sex isn't recovering."
"Nothing was said against kissing. Just be gentle with me and it'll be fine, right?"
The smile Tecchou had on his swollen lips looked too innocent for what the bastard was implying.
You didn't even want to say no to him.
Tachihara
______________________________________________________________
Tachihara felt bad for whoever was going to have to clean the hospital room.
He was looking around, with you laying on his shoulder, laptop haphazardly placed in between the two of your laps - to see the disgusting mess that you two had made of the place.
There was sauce spilled on the mattress, and popcorn kernels on the floor somewhere from where the two of you had thrown it at each other. He hoped the doctor wouldn't know about what he was really eating, since he was sure he would get a mouthful about it later. He hated the slop they tried to feed him at the facility, he truly did.
You, on the other hand, had brought nearly every snack imaginable. His cheeto dusted fingers and Dorito's breath could attest to that fact. The surgery made his legs hurt this time, but for now, his soul was happy as he continued to tear through the bags you had brought.
"Gimmie one."
He looked over to see you looking at him expectantly, you eyes wide and now that he looked closer in the low hospital light, were accompanied by deep bags. You probably hadn't slept since he had gone in for surgery, which was a full 26 hours ago now, and it showed.
Tachihara was surprised you still had any energy, but it might've been from the energy drinks you had brought with you. He wasn't allowed to have any of those, as you were a "responsible nurse" apparently. He didn't believe that, but watching you be so happy to look over him made him happy - as did the puffed Cheetos he was chewing.
"Open your mouth."
He watched as you closed your eyes and lazily opened your mouth, your tongue hanging out of your mouth languidly. He placed a puffed cheeto on your tongue, slowly closing your jaw, trying to avoid getting any cheeto dust on you. He failed, but he enjoyed watching the smile on your face as you chewed happily, going back to the film.
"Wait. You have dust on you."
He reached over, trying to wipe it off. He forgot about the dust on his hands however, which spread it around. You blinked at him, not registering the mistake, until you wiped at your chin, pulling back to see it coated in orange.
You looked back at him, giggling.
"I'm so messy, geez."
You laughed, trying to hide your mouth so you didn't spit out your cheeto. Tachihara watched you, a smile pulling on his own face.
"I think we both need to wash up. We really went ham here."
You sat up, looking up at the mess the two of you had created. Lazily, you laid back down on the squashed pillows that had become your bed.
"Let's do that later."
Your voice was low and tired.
"I'm tired. I think I'm having a caffeine crash finally."
You were interrupted by a yawn, one that ran throughout your entire being as you stretched yourself out on the hospital bed. The laptop was barely caught by Tachihara, who placed it further down by your feet. The movie was now long forgotten, having become of little importance to the two of you - just background noise.
Tachihara merely watched you, groaning as he tried to get comfortable while lying back down, getting close to you. He kept his golden eyes on your figure - you were falling asleep, messy and unkempt, but he still thought you were beautiful. Your breathing was soft, with your chest rising slowly right by his arm.
Most of all he was thankful he didn't have to wake up alone - and now fall asleep alone, in this cold, unwelcoming hospital room. It almost felt like a home, with how messy it was.
"Hey, Y/n?"
You hummed tiredly as a response, tiredly shaking your head to show him that you were listening. Tachihara smiled as he took the back of his hand, tracing your jaw - now extra careful to avoid spreading Cheeto dust on you.
"Thanks for taking care of me. This was nice."
"Yea."
You yawned again, lazily opening your eyes and turning towards him, smiling. They were half-lidded, barely registering what they were seeing.
"Of course. Why wouldn't I? I want to take care of you."
You reached over, curling your dirty fingers into his hospital gown. Tachihara didn't have it in him to feel grossed out. He felt incredibly warm, however, as you pressed your forehead against his, a small smile on your sleeping face.
He could tell something was wrong the moment she stepped in front of the mirror to brush her teeth. The way her eyes raked over her own body made his chest ache; there was a certain hatred in them, and he would even go as far as say she looked disgusted.
Feeling his heart break piece by piece, he stood up from where he sat on the bed and stopped in the threshold of the bathroom that was connected to their bedroom. She didn’t even notice his presence, too focused on judging every inch of herself. He approached her the moment she spat the toothpaste in the sink, his arms immediately moving to wrap around her torso and pulling her close against him.
She let out a small sigh when he pressed his face into the crook of her neck, and placed her hands atop his, enjoying the feeling of his warm chest pressing against her back. She almost smiled, but the moment she looked into the mirror again, her face turned blank.
“What’s wrong?” he muttered against her skin, his beard tickling her neck.
She exhaled sharply, internally scolding herself for allowing him to see through her. “Nothing’s wrong,” she sent him a small smile, “Go to bed, I’ll join you in a sec, alright?”
He shook his head and pulled himself up to stare into her eyes through the mirror. He said her name softly, his gruff voice barely above a whisper as he continued, “Please talk to me.”
She looked to the side and away from his concerned gaze, “I’m fine,” she told him.
But John didn’t believe her. He turned her around in his arms and placed his hand on her cheek, angling her face so their eyes would lock, “Sweetheart, we’ve been together far too long for me to believe that.”
He watched as her eyes glazed over, and she quickly hung her head to look at the ground; she refused to let him see her this way. To see her broken and on the verge of tears.
“Hey,” he attempted to lift her head back up, but she refused.
It was when she let out a choked sob, and when he felt her hot tears wet his fingertips that he brought her closer towards him. His palm cradled the back of her head as he pressed her cheek against his shoulder, his other hand reaching to rub comforting circles on her back. Her own hands grabbed onto his shirt and cramped it between her fingers as quiet whimpers left her lips.
“Shh-shh-shh,” he tried to comfort her, placing a loving kiss against her head as he swayed them from side to side. She clung onto him like her life depended on it, quiet apologies leaving her lips when she felt her tears soaking through his shirt. He could only shake his head in response and assure her it was okay, that she had nothing to be sorry for.
Once she began to calm down – her sobs ceasing and tears drying on her skin – he pulled away, cupping her cheeks in his calloused hands to look at her. The whites of her eyes were a faint red, and her face was slightly puffy from crying.
“Talk to me?” he whispered, his eyes begging her to tell him what was wrong - what he could do to help.
Hesitantly, she nodded, and the moment she did he felt like he could breathe again. He pressed his hand against the small of her back and led her back to their bedroom, where they both sat on the edge of the soft bed. His hands reached for hers and he held them, gently rubbing his thumb against her skin.
“John,” she managed to whisper, and he hummed, urging her to continue, “Do you still find me attractive?”
The question alone took him aback, but it was the seriousness in her tone that made him freeze. His brows knit together, and his eyes looked more concerned than before as he leaned forward. He searched her face for something, perhaps because a part of him wished this was all just a really bad joke.
“’Course I do,” he stated in disbelief, “What makes you think I don’t?”
She shrugged, her eyes gazing down at their intertwined fingers, “I just-” she let out a deep sigh, “I don’t know.”
“Hey,” he moved off the bed and crouched down in front of her, keeping his hands on top of hers as he looked into her eyes, “You can tell me.”
She looked more tired from this angle. The way the shadows fell on her face made her look as though she hadn’t slept in weeks. The frown that pulled on her lips didn’t make it any better, only showing how truly devastated she looked.
His mind began to work on overdrive. Had he said something to her? Did he do something without realising? Maybe it wasn’t him. Maybe someone said something nasty to her, and now she couldn’t get their words out of her head.
It was as though she could hear the thoughts that ran through his head. She shook her head at him and let out a small breath, “I just... I don’t feel-” she groaned, placing her hands on her face, “Whenever I look at myself all I can see is flaws, and sometimes I’m scared that one day it will be all you’ll start seeing, too.”
He couldn’t believe his own ears. He couldn’t believe she thought of herself that way, that she saw herself that way. His chest felt heavy as he moved to sit beside her and placed a comforting hand on the small of her back.
“Did someone say something to you?” he questioned; his voice gentle as he spoke.
“No.” she assured him, “No, no-one said anything, and don’t worry, you didn’t do anything either. It’s me – I just don’t like the way I look. Honestly, I don’t know what you see in me, John.”
He hummed, taking her words in and digesting them before he opened his mouth, “D’you want to know what I see?”
She swallowed thickly, “What?”
“Definitely not the flaws you’re seeing, love,” he attempted to lighten her mood. “I’m not even sure what ‘flaws’ you’re thinking of. All I can see is my beautiful, beautiful wife.”
Despite the awful thoughts still plaguing her mind, she couldn’t help but become bashful at his words. She could feel the heat on her cheeks, and hated herself for lifting the corners of her mouth into a small smile.
“There you are,” he said as though he hadn’t seen her in months. He quickly turned serious, a hand pressing against her cheek to turn her face in his direction, “You’ll always be beautiful to me,” he said her name with so much love, she could feel her heart swell, “Even when we’re both old, wrinkly and complaining about back pain. I love you, and that’s never going to change.”
“You already complain about your back pain,” she pointed out as her arms wrapped around his neck to pull him into a tight hug.
“See, we’re already half way there,” he laughed, “If you ever feel like this again, you tell me, alright?” she nodded into his shoulder, “I can’t have you feeling like this.”
“I’m sorry,” she mumbled, “For worrying you.”
“I’m your husband,” he chuckled, pulling away from her, “It’s my job to worry, yeah?”
She snorted at that, and he couldn’t help but grin at her reaction. With a small laugh of his own, he pressed his lips against hers and used his thumbs to wipe away the dry tears from her cheeks. The kiss started off sweet and gentle, their soft lips melting against one another in the slow dance. But it eventually turned more passionate – more lustful – as he pressed his lips harder against hers, hands beginning to wander down from her hips.
They pulled away to catch their breaths, their foreheads pressing together in a loving gesture. “Can I show you just how beautiful you are to me?” he asked.
She knew what he meant by this, and she didn’t even have to think about her answer. She nodded, a small ‘yeah’ leaving her lips as she pressed them against his once again. This kiss was short and sweet and he smiled when they moved apart.
Placing his hands on her hips, he guided her along the bed to rest her head on the fluffy pillows. He hovered above her, hand resting by her head as he leaned down to kiss her once again. His tongue entered her mouth, and the quiet mewl that left her when their tongues met had his body turning hot. They explored one another as if it was their first time doing so; hands ran up and down each other’s bodies and tongues swiped against one another in a loving embrace.
A string of saliva connected them when John eventually pulled away. His breathing was heavy and eyes closed as he attempted to calm himself down. He pressed his nose against the soft skin of her cheek and decided to press more kisses there, trailing from her cheek, to her jaw, down her neck and stopping just above her clavicle.
“John,” she whispered, legs moving to rest on either side of his hips.
He groaned at her needy tone, the sound of her voice only spurring him on as he kissed past her clavicle and over her shirt. His hands slipped underneath the hem of her shirt and rolled up the material to her ribs to expose her stomach. His lips attached to the newly uncovered skin, pressing soft kisses around her belly button.
As his lips moved downward, stopping at the waistband of her bottoms, he noticed something different. Instead of the usual shorts she wore to bed, her legs were covered with long pyjama bottoms that reached her ankles. He frowned, eyes gazing up at her curiously.
“Is it your legs, love?” he asked, brows furrowing in question.
She let out a sharp breath, her tongue wetting her lips as she nodded. He kissed the softness of her abdomen before pushing himself up to look into her eyes. “Can I take ‘em off?” he asked seriously, hand stroking the apple of her cheek.
She nodded, though he could see the hesitance in her eyes. One of his hands settled on the soft skin of her hip, gently rubbing the area with his thumb as he tilted his head to the side in thought. He let out a soft hum, eyes analysing her own.
“John,” her voice caught his attention, “I trust you. I just... it’s my thighs...”
“Are you sure?” he asked, wanting to be certain she definitely wanted this.
She smiled at him, and pressed a hot kiss against his lips. He groaned at the feeling, and almost whined when she pulled away, “I want you, John.”
He only smiled before moving his head back down towards her stomach and pressing open-mouthed kisses against her skin. He hooked his fingers at the waistband of her bottoms and began to pull them downward, her hips rising a little to help him get them off.
Despite him having seen her naked countless times before, and despite still having her underwear and shirt on, she felt more exposed than ever. Yet when she looked into his eyes, which were already staring back at her - scanning her face for discomfort – she felt herself relax; his eyes were so soft, and held so much love, she felt like her heart was going to burst at the sight.
He pressed his lips against her knee as he held her leg carefully in his hand. He squeezed the soft flesh of her thigh, enjoying how it jiggled underneath his fingertips. Her breath hitched when he lifted her leg further up her body, the top of her thigh making contact with her torso.
The position reminded her of the many times he practically folded her in half to pound deeper into her. It reminded her of the nights when she finished multiple times in a row, and when her legs felt sore the day after. But this time was different; instead of his fingertips digging into the skin of her hip, they softly held onto her knee; instead of harsh kisses that stole her breath away, he lightly pressed his lips against the bumpy area of her thigh.
His eyes gazed upon the cellulite that decorated her skin, but unlike her, he didn’t see flaws. All he saw was the woman he fell in love with. The woman he was willing to take a bullet for. The bumpy area of her thigh was nothing but a decoration on her body. And he kissed it. He kissed every bump that adorned her skin, refusing to miss even a single one.
Her breathing was turning heavy as he travelled from underneath her knee and down to her buttocks. His fingers caressed the cellulite on her thigh before digging his fingers into her skin and moving her leg to expose the cotton of her underwear.
He moved his face toward her core, and placed a soft kiss against her clothed clit. A soft mewl left her lips at the action, and he smiled proudly at the sound. “You mind if I take ‘em off, love?”
She shook her head, and practically begged him to do just that. A breathless ‘please’ left her lips, and that’s all he needed. Quickly, yet still as carefully and softly as before, he pulled the material off her hips and almost salivated at the sight of her bottom half bare in front of him. He swore he would never get tired of seeing her like this; with eyes clenched shut and mouth ajar, small sighs leaving her open lips as she subconsciously rutted her hips towards him.
“John,” his name left her lips in a quiet plea.
He smirked, and on any other occasion he would have waited another moment; he would have her begging to place his lips around her. Yet this time he gave her what she wanted – what she needed – without a second thought.
His lips were wrapped on her already swollen clit before she got the chance to say his name again. A choked moan left her lips at the feeling, and her fingers went to grab onto his short hair. Her thighs clenched around his head when his tongue pressed against her hot skin, tasting her arousal as he licked her from the opening of her vagina, and up to her sensitive bud.
She let out a desperate whine as she lifted her hips, pressing her core harder against his face. She felt him smile against her, the hairs of his beard digging into the skin of her thighs. He wrapped an arm around her abdomen and pushed her down to keep her in place.
His lips were back to sucking on her clit in no time, and she felt as his index finger moved through her labia and gently pushed into her. The feeling was ecstatic, and she couldn’t help the loud moan that tumbled from her lips. “John,” she chanted his name as though it was the only name she knew.
He pumped the finger in and out, the sound of her wetness seeping out of her making his cock feel even harder than it already was. He added another finger and curled them in her tight canal. Her soft walls clenched around his digits, and when she attempted to arch her back, he knew she was close.
The pulls on his hair turned harsher, and her soft thighs squeezed his head when her walls began to spasm. He let her push her core against him, his mouth refusing to leave the swell of her clit as she shook underneath him. Her orgasm seeped out of her and drenched his fingers, which he continued to pump in and out until she stopped moving.
He pulled out his digits from her and placed them in his mouth, keeping eye contact with her when he licked them clean off her orgasm. The sound that left her lips was unholy, and it took everything in him to not grin like the Cheshire cat in return.
“You’re stunning,” he told her, and smiled when she moaned at his words.
He moved back towards her face and kissed her hungrily. She could taste herself on his tongue, and the it made her wrap her arms tightly around his neck. She pushed her torso into his, and when her naked crotch made contact with his still clothed dick, she felt how hard he was. She could only imagine how uncomfortable it was, so she let her hands travel from the hard muscles in his back and towards his abdomen, eager to wrap her fingers around his thickness.
Her hands barely had time to touch the soft material before he pulled them away and shook his head at her. “Not tonight,” he told her and stood up to remove the soft material himself.
His boxers ended up on the floor of their bedroom, and he didn’t stop until he was fully bare in front of her, his shirt joining the small pile on the floor. She shamelessly ogled his form from the bed, now sat up and hugging her naked legs against her chest.
He let out a small chuckle at the sight of her, “Enjoying the view?” he asked, getting on his knees in front of her.
She giggled, “Wish I could take a picture,” she answered with a soft smile.
He breathed out a laugh and grabbed onto the hem of her shirt, pulling it off her before letting it join his own clothes on the floor. “Show me,” he told her and she looked up at him with a confused expression, “What else, love? Show me.”
She bit into her bottom lip in thought before nodding and grabbing his wrist. Spreading her thighs so he could step between them, she moved his hand toward her hip. He got her to lay back down as he analysed her skin. It was only then that he saw the faint lines on her body, the stretch marks running from the top of her hip and down to her thigh.
Truth be told, he never paid them much mind. Sure, he’s seen that they were there, but he never would have guessed they caused her such heartache – such pain. He pressed gentle kisses on her hip, smiling against her before moving to hover above her once again.
“You know, all scars tell us is that we survived,” he pointed at his own torso, which was littered with scars of all sizes. Some were short and faint and others long and deep, but they all told the same story; he survived everything that was thrown his way.
She let out a sigh, “They’re not scars, John. They’re stretch marks. I haven’t survived anything.”
“Yeah, you have,” he argued, and she knit her brows in question, “You survive every day, don’t you? No matter what’s thrown at you, you’ve survived it all. Like that time you hit yourself on the table – remember the bruise you had for weeks?” He asked and she nodded, “Look, you might not have survived anything life-threatening, but you survived nonetheless. I mean, you survive with me and my, as you call them, ‘awful hats’ everyday, so that counts for something.” He laughed, “They’re nothing to be ashamed of, sweetheart.”
She could feel the tears brimming her eyes at his words. She managed to nod, pulling him into another kiss as her legs wrapped around his torso. She was becoming desperate, his words only making her want him inside her more and more.
“John,” she breathed out, “I love you. I love you so much.”
He groaned when her hand suddenly grabbed onto the base of his cock and pumped him, moving up and down his length. She lined the tip with the wet entrance of her vagina, moaning at the feeling of his hot and sticky skin pressing against her.
“I love you, too,” he managed to say as he pushed inside of her.
The feeling of his cock stretching her out felt heavenly. She could feel every inch of him as he moved inside of her, pushing in until he bottomed out. His pelvis was pressed against her clit, and she clenched her walls around him at the feeling.
He grunted, tightening his hold on her left hip as his other hand moved to rest beside her head. “Fuck,” he cursed, forehead pressing against her shoulder. He tapped his hand against the side of her hip, and she arched against him, her hard nipples pressing deliciously against his hot skin.
Taking the chance, he moved a pillow underneath the small of her back, the slight lift allowing him to push even further into her. His tip pressed against the soft wall of her cervix, and she attempted to move her hips against his.
The desperation was clear on her face when he opened his eyes to look at her. His forehead pressed against hers and he finally moved his hips – slowly, sensually. His thrusts were slow and deep, as though he was trying to reach the deepest depths of her being.
She could feel the love radiating off him; the tenderness of his movements, gentle hold he had on her thigh as he pushed it further up his torso – attempting to reach as deeply as humanly possible – and the way he pressed small kisses against her temple. She could feel it all, and it brought hot tears to her eyes.
He held onto him as the tears began to roll down her cheeks, and her hips moved in sync with his. He whispered her name in her ear, followed by words of adoration, “Fuckin’ beautiful,” he spoke against her ear, his beard tickling her skin.
She clenched around him and her hips stuttered with every word – with every thrust. “So gorgeous,” he continued, lips pressing against the edge of her jaw after every word, “My fuckin’ gorgeous wife.”
Her abdomen felt hot, and the knot that slowly began to form in her stomach was threatening to snap. He could feel it; he could feel her getting closer. He slightly sped up his movements, his pelvis rubbing against her clit with every single thrust.
It was becoming too much. The words of love he chanted in her ear, the way her breasts rubbed against the scarred skin of his chest, and the way his cock pressed against the wall of her cervix with every single thrust. It was too much, and with a clench of her walls, she felt the knot finally break.
A loud moan got past his lips as the feeling of her walls hugging him tighter. His own hips began to stutter, and as she continued to spasm in his arms, her pushed into her with one final thrust.
She felt the warmth of his cum filling up her insides, the feeling only making her whine louder than before. His forehead went to press against hers once more as he fully emptied himself inside of her, his orgasm mixing with hers.
They stayed like that for a moment; he was still inside her, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck and bodies remained flushed together. They were both panting, their chests heaving after the passionate and intense session.
When she eventually opened her eyes – her vision slightly blurred from her orgasm – he was already staring back at her. The corners of his lips were pulled into a smile, and his eyes held a softness she had seen many times before, yet would never get tired of.
“Hello, gorgeous,” he whispered, his voice hoarse as he repeated the compliment he had previously chanted like a prayer.
She smiled, her arms loosening around his neck as she moved to cup his cheeks in her palms, “Hello, handsome,” she replied.
With a look full of love, he pressed a kiss against her cheek and pushed himself up to pull out of her. She whined at the feeling of sudden loss, her hands grabbing onto his forearms that were on either side of her head. She could feel his release slowly seeping out of her, and before it could trickle too far down – before their bed sheets were ruined – he picked her up from the bed.
She let out a squeal of surprise when she was lifted into his arms, and with an amused laugh, he took them both to the bathroom. “Bath?” he asked as he placed her on her feet, making sure she was steady and her legs weren’t wobbling.
She held onto his shoulder for a second, but nodded when she felt the feeling return to her legs. As he went to draw them both a bath, she reached for the towel cabinet and pulled out a small, clean rag. She wet it with warm water and just as she was about to wipe it on her thigh, it was taken from her.
John turned her around and pressed her back against the cold sink, making her hiss out at the feeling. He only chuckled when he grabbed one of her thighs and pulled it up towards him, only to then press the warm towel against her hot skin. He cleaned off the stickiness of her thighs, doing the same for himself before pressing the material flush against her crotch, collecting the arousal that had seeped out of her.
She couldn’t help but flinch and moan at the feeling, her mouth falling ajar as she grabbed onto her husband’s bicep. “Sorry, had to clean you up,” he told her with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
She almost rolled her eyes at him, but could only smile when he pulled her in for a kiss. The towel was discarded in the sink as his hands moved to rest on her waist. The skin-on-skin contact was nice, the intimacy of the moment causing a certain peacefulness to fall upon them.
“C’mon,” he eventually said and led her to the bathtub full of hot water.
The moment the water enveloped her, she could feel her muscles relaxing from the warmth that surrounded her. John stepped in behind her and pulled her into his chest, where she rested her head against his shoulder.
His hand moved to lay on the expanse of her stomach, lightly rubbing the area as she nuzzled into him. She finally felt happy, and content with herself. The insecurities that previously burdened her mind were forgotten, and the only thing she could focus on was John, and how he lovingly held onto her. She knew the thoughts would eventually return, and that they would try their very hardest to be the only thing occupying her mind. But she also knew John would be there to put a stop to them every single time.
“Thank you, John,” she whispered into the silence.
All he did in return was press his cheek against the top of her head and hum as he pulled her in even closer towards him. He didn’t say anything, and he didn’t need to, because his actions spoke louder than words ever could.
Heaven existed.
After calling Akagami for a few weeks, you were sure of it. You still didn’t have a boyfriend, but you weren’t frustrated anymore; you still hadn’t gotten laid either, but your numerous talks with Akagami gave you the best orgasms you had ever had, so you had no complaints.
You were in a really good mood; you had just finished college, and you were moving back home with your dad until you found a job, which meant that not only could you call Akagami whenever you liked, but you’d also get to see Shanks often, your dad’s best friend. He was ridiculously handsome.
You thought to yourself as you continued packing the stuff in your dorm; you were excited for the day ahead. A knock on the door interrupted your train of thought. When you went to open your door, you gasped in surprise.
Shanks was leaning against your doorframe, an amused smile decorating his face, “Hey, kid.”
“S-Shanks?! What are you doing here? Where’s dad?”
He chuckled, “Lucky had an emergency and needed your old man’s help. He asked me to pick you up, little girl.”
He laughed at you in good fun as your face flushed slightly. He looked around at your packed-up boxes and grinned, “You in a rush to get home?”
“I guess I’m feeling a bit homesick.”
“Aww, don’t worry, kid. Just get the stuff in the car,” Shanks smiles warmly, “I’ll bring down the rest of your boxes.”
You nodded and went to his car as Shanks began stacking up boxes to bring downstairs.
As he finished up, he accidentally stumbled, causing one of the boxes to burst open. He quickly scrambled to put its contents back but froze when he saw a bunch of sex toys on the floor.
He laughed loudly. Who would’ve thought you were a perverted little thing? But no matter, your secret was safe with him.
As he finished putting the toys back in the box, he suddenly realized most of these toys seemed familiar; His little princess had described toys to him over the phone that kind of looked like these ones.
Small world… Shanks thought to himself as he brought the last box to the car.
Even though the toys were yours, he couldn’t help thinking of his little princess and how his world changed once she started calling him.
Working as a phone sex operator was a fun thing to do. It got him off, and he also got to help other people. It was a fun, casual thing to make some extra cash. But then, once she called for the first time, everything changed. Shanks began looking forward to hearing her voice every time the phone rang.
She was a naughty little thing, a girl young enough to be his daughter who wanted him to take advantage of her; she even called him “Daddy.”
He’d had clients call him more than once before, but her calls became regular. He felt almost possessive of her; she was a slutty needy little girl who needed her Daddy to guide her.
He almost growled at the thought of her getting off with another man.
He had spent the last few weeks fantasizing about his little princess and what she would look like in person. What color were her eyes? Was she curvy or slender? How would her body writhe for him when he showed her how to properly squirt? What would her face look like when he shoved his cock inside her tight pussy?
The thought of her was driving him crazy.
Shanks was brought out of his train of thought when you looked up at him, patiently waiting for him to unlock the car’s front doors. He fished the keys out of his pocket, opening the door to you.
He suddenly remembered something when the two of you were buckled up in his car.
“Ah! Before I forget, I brought you something, kid, here!” He smiled widely as he handed you your favorite candy bar.
You smiled brightly at him in return as you quickly opened the candy.
“This is so good; you’re the best, Shanks!” You moaned in pleasure as the flavor of the candy hit your tongue.
Shanks’ brain stopped working for a moment.
He needed to get himself together; for a millisecond, an image of his little princess moaning for him flashed in his mind as you savored the candy.
Seeing your toys must’ve thrown him off.
Yes, that had to have been it, he reasoned. After all, if you were his sweet princess, he would’ve been tangled in such a complicated web. You were his best friend’s daughter. He and Beckman had been buddies since college, so if he were to go after his daughter…
Shanks swallowed, sweat building on his brow.
“Is everything okay?” You asked, leaning forward a bit, “You look stressed.”
You laughed, and Shanks laughed along with you, “No, it’s nothing, don’t worry.”
Shanks tried changing the subject quickly.
“So, how was college? I haven’t seen you in a while.”
“College? It was a piece of cake.” You shrug off sarcastically.
Shanks laughed, and the sound warmed your heart. For a moment, you even forgot about Akagami.
Shit, Akagami.
You felt bad, you had been fantasizing about him for months, but now Shanks would be back in your life.
You and Akagami weren’t together, even though some part of you felt emotionally attached to him. But at the same time, your heart still yearned for Shanks, even though you knew it would never happen between you two.
You let out a sigh.
Shanks eyed you before asking, “What’s on your mind, kid?”
“Nothing; why?” You shrugged
Shanks smiled, “Well, because now you look down in the dumps.”
You hummed, “I guess I’m dealing with some pretty complicated feelings.”
“What, is there someone you like?” He smirked, looking back at the road again.
You shifted in your seat, “Well, yeah…”
Shanks let out a laugh, “And who could this mystery man be who stole the sweet princess’s heart, huh?”
You blushed, “Well, that’s the problem… there are two guys. And… I don’t know how to choose.”
Shanks hummed, “That’s a tough spot to be in, kid.”
After a few moments of silence, Shanks’ curiosity got the best of him.
“So, who are they?”
“Huh?”
“The guys you like, who are they? Maybe I can help you decide” He winked playfully.
“W-Well, uh,” you hummed as you thought how to describe them to Shanks without letting it spill that one of the guys is closer than he thinks, “One guy I’ve known forever… and the other I met just a few months ago.”
Shanks nodded, and you kept talking, “This new guy gives me lots of attention, but the guy I’ve known forever barely seems to know I exist.”
“Then go for the new guy!” Shanks smiled, “If he treats you well, then that’s who you should stick with.”
A long silence hangs between you and Shanks in the car as you drive past buildings on the road’s edge. You cleared your throat.
“W-Well, uh, that’s kind of the thing: we haven’t met in person...” Shanks raised his eyebrow at you.
“You haven’t met? Then how does he give you all the attention you were just telling me about?”
“Uh,” you had to think fast, “W-We’re Internet friends!”
Shanks hums, “Be careful about guys online, kid. They could be anyone, you know? This guy could be an old guy trying to creep on girls like you.”
You blushed when he came closer to the truth than you would’ve liked, “W-Well, we’ve talked on the phone. He’s not a creep, believe me.”
“But he is old, huh?” He chuckled, “Ah, I’m just kidding. I know you’re a good kid who wouldn’t go for that sort of thing.”
You looked away from him as you blushed harder.
“R-Right, of course not!” Your response had Shanks raising his eyebrow at you again, but he let the comment slide.
A long silence settled again as you couldn’t think of anything to say that wouldn’t sound even more suspicious.
Shanks smiled, “Anyways, I’m going to be staying with you and your dad at your house tonight.”
Your head whipped to look at him so fast Shanks thought you might’ve pulled a muscle.
“What? I thought you and Dad were staying at your house!”
Shanks raised his eyebrow at you again. You were acting strange; you were usually eager and excited to see him, and you loved spending time with your dad.
“What’s gotten into you, kid? Do you need your dad and me out of your house or something?”
“What? N-No, I just thought, you know…” you trailed off, not really knowing what to respond with.
You wanted to get out of the car as fast as you could; this was getting embarrassing.
As you neared your house, the silence made things even more awkward.
You sighed, “I was going to talk on the phone with my online friend.”
“And your dad and I can’t be home for you to do that? Are you sure he’s not a creepy old guy, kid?”
“He’s not creepy,” you pouted, crossing your arms, “Can’t a girl just want some time alone with a guy she likes?”
“Easy, tiger,” he chuckled, “Just stay in your room. Your dad and I won’t barge in.”
You pout, “You promise? I really want to talk with Akagami tonight, and I don’t want Dad or you to interrupt us.”
Shanks slammed on the brakes, causing you to jerk forward.
“Shanks?”
“What did you just say?”
You blink, furrowing your brows, “I asked if you promise not to barge in ’cause I wanted to talk to my friend Akagami-“
Shanks’ heart begins pounding, and sweat falls down his brow.
Oh shit.
He was so fucked.
The toys, the moan, the voice, the friend’s name.
He’s been dirty-talking his college friend’s daughter for months.
“Are you okay? You’re sweating.” You eyed his sudden change of behavior, a bit frazzled.
Suddenly, Shanks is taken out of his head by the sound of drivers honking behind him, reminding him that he stopped dead in the road. He quickly regained his composure and started driving again.
Shanks cleared his throat, “Uh nothin’, it’s just that name… I once knew a guy named that a long time ago, that’s all.”
Your eyes widened a bit. Did Shanks know Akagami? Did your dad? You bit your lip as you imagined a world where Akagami was much closer to you than you thought.
“You still keep in touch with him?” You prod, looking up at him with wide eyes.
“Uh,” Shanks hesitates, “No, not anymore.”
You try not to look upset, “I see…”
The ride back to your house is filled with silence. It’s as if bringing up the name “Akagami” was a mistake in itself. Did this guy die young or something? Get in a tragic accident? Shanks’ face seemed to lose color at the name.
When you arrived home, your dad was waiting for you outside. You bolted out of the car, hoping to eliminate the awkwardness.
“Dad!” You jumped into his arms.
“Hey kid, how was the ride home?” He chuckled while hugging you tightly.
Before you could respond, Shanks beat you to it.
“It was good,” he grinned, ruffling your hair, “She was all packed up and ready to go, so we were in and out pretty quick.”
Beckman smiled widely, “Good. Shanks and I are going out for a bit, but he’ll be staying the night with us, and tomorrow the three of us will go out and have a celebratory breakfast.”
“Great, uh-I’ll be talking with a friend on the phone later, so please don’t barge into my room, please, and thank you!”
You ran to Shanks’ car, grabbed a few boxes, and bolted inside the house under the stare of Shanks and your dad.
Your dad raised his eyebrow at Shanks, “What was that about?”
Shanks smiled awkwardly at him, “Kids these days, no?”
You unpacked for the rest of the afternoon while Shanks thought deeply about what to do. You were his little princess. He had spent months wondering how you looked, how you’d feel, and he fantasized about you constantly...
And now he found out you were his best friend’s daughter.
You were going to call him later; he needed to decide what to do. But the more he thought about it, the more enticed he was by you, the more he wanted to ravish you, care for you.
You were forbidden, after all, and that’s what made you even more appealing.
Hours passed, and your dad and Shanks came home, their laughter carrying throughout the house as you set up everything for your phone call with Akagami. You rolled your eyes, hoping they would settle down soon.
Your wish is granted in moments as you hear someone come up the steps and into the guest room. You assumed it was Shanks. You had to be quiet if he was staying across the hall…
Finally, your time slot came around for when you usually called, and you called up Akagami.
You waited for the phone to ring, and soon enough, Akagami answered.
“Hey there, little princess.” already familiar with his greeting, you smiled.
“Hey, Daddy! I’ve been thinking about you.”
He chuckled, “Have you now? Have you been a good girl for Daddy, sweet thing?”
You pouted teasingly, “When am I not a good girl Daddy?”
He chuckled, amused, “Fair enough… But listen, little princess; Daddy has a surprise for you.”
You clenched your thighs together, “A surprise?”
Your mind was imagining multiple possibilities. What could he have up his sleeve?
“Mhm, think of it as a little graduation present from Daddy.” He hummed, well aware of your moving out day as you had told him ahead of time.
“Now, sweet girl, is the door of your room unlocked?” His deep voice rasps, and you furrow your brows in confusion.
“U-Unlocked? Uh, yes, Daddy, it’s unlocked; why?”
“It’s part of the surprise, little girl. Now, get your favorite toys out for Daddy, okay?”
“Okay, Daddy,” you got out your favorite clitoral vibrator and dildo.
“Good, little princess, now I want you to tease yourself, okay? Take your top off, grab your nipples for Daddy, and pinch them. Make them really hard for me.”
“O-Okay, Daddy”
“Good, keep that up, little girl. Are they perky enough, or have you not listened to Daddy?”
“No, Daddy! They’re really hard. They feel so good.”
He hummed, “Good, very good, little girl. Now lose your pants and underwear. Tell Daddy how wet you are.”
You lay naked on your bed, perky nipples exposed as your fingertips grazed your wet pussy.
“Really wet, Daddy,” you panted, “I barely touched, and the cum’s all over my fingers…”
“Is that so? Then ease in your dildo for me, princess,” He growls lowly, “Tell Daddy, are you wet enough for it to just slide in?”
“Yes, Daddy, it eased right in. I think I’m so wet that I might get it on the bed...” You bit your lip and mewled, “I was so worked up while I was waiting to call you. My panties have been soaked all afternoon…”
He chuckled amusedly, “What a slutty and needy little girl Daddy has…”
“Now, princess, turn your vibrator on. Put it in the lowest setting while fucking yourself slowly with your dildo.”
You pressed the phone between your cheek and shoulder as you obeyed your Daddy’s command.
“Does it feel good, little girl? Let Daddy hear your moans as you describe how you’re fucking yourself.”
You mewled harder as you slowly moved the toy in and out of yourself with one hand while pressing the vibrator harder on your clit with your other.
He laughed softly, “I take it my little princess feels good?”
“Yes-” Your voice came out broken, “Yes, Daddy. I missed you so much-”
“Sweet girl…” He cooed, “We just talked last week... you missed Daddy that much?”
“Yes…” You mewled, and suddenly you froze up as you heard footsteps in the hallway.
“Sorry, I think someone is walking by… I’m back home now, so my dad and his friend might be around. I’ll have to be quiet…”
You could almost feel his smug grin through the phone.
“Is that so? Is my naughty little girl afraid of getting caught?”
You nod and say, “Yeah, It’d be awkward if my dad heard me… Plus, it’s his cute friend that’s over too…”
Shanks tsked, “You’re still on about that guy? I thought you were loyal to me, princess?”
You whine, “I-I am! I want to be yours, only yours, Akagami.”
He hummed, “I don’t know, little girl, I might have to make you forget all about this man…”
“Daddy, I promise!” You bit your lip, “After thinking about it, I realized that it’s you that cares for me and gives me the attention I love. You’re the one I want, really!”
You felt your heart stop as someone opened your door.
Shanks entered quietly and closed the door behind him, then he turned to face you, his eyes never leaving your body as he pulled his phone up to his ear.
“You really mean that, princess?” He murmured into the receiver, and your eyes grew wide as you realized that Shanks was the one on the other end of the phone, “You wanna belong to a perverted old man like me?”
Your heart pounded as blood rushed to your ears. You dropped your vibrator, and the phone slipped from your shoulder, falling onto the covers below you. Shanks gave a smug, toothy grin.
“Shanks? You’re...?” Your body lay frozen on the bed.
He hummed, “I am, and now that you’re in front of me, I want to show you everything I’ve wanted to do to you…”
You stammered, trying to find your words as he slinked closer to you, crawling onto the bed, “But first… it looks like I have a naughty little girl to punish, isn’t that right?”
That caught your attention as you looked at him, “Punish?”
He hummed, crawling in between your legs as he grabbed your forgotten vibrator.
“Naughty girl,” He teased, “I have to punish you because your loyalty wavered… You were thinking about someone else. The other man you mentioned in the car.”
“N-No, Daddy, it’s a misunderstand-” You were cut off by your own gasp as he turned the vibrator up a notch, bringing it towards your needy clit.
“Misunderstanding, you say? No, I don’t think so, little girl.” You gasped again as he started fucking you with the dildo with his other hand as he pressed the vibrator harder against your clit.
“God, you’re so fucking beautiful, princess. Let Daddy see you cry.” You released a broken gasp as he fucked you harder and turned the vibrator up another notch.
“Aww, is this too much for my little princess? I have to prep you, sweetheart. If not, Daddy might not fit in your tight little pussy. And nobody likes to break their toys before they get to use them, right?”
You whimpered as your hands flew to your mouth to cover your moans. Your eyes rolled back as Shanks fucked you relentlessly with the toy. Your legs shook as he guided you to the edge, your body instinctively catapulting off of it. You couldn’t help it, you were already so close and Shanks' presence made it all the more overwhelming.
“Now, what is this? Did my little slut come without her Daddy’s permission?”
Your chest heaved, “S-Sorry, Daddy… I was just… so excited that the man I always wanted was you all along.”
Shanks’ ears perked up at that, “What do you mean, baby?”
He dropped the vibrator and rubbed his thumbs into your hip bones, the dildo still packed inside your tightness.
“The men I was stuck between… Was Shanks and Akagami.” You laughed breathlessly.
Shanks smiled a bit at your words, “Yeah? I guess you’ve fallen for me twice…”
You nod, and he crawls up your body, kissing you sweetly. You tangled your fingers in his hair, pulling him even closer to you. A muffled moan escaped your lips as you felt his tongue dart over your lower lip. You willingly opened your mouth to him, allowing you to explore it. Your tongues slid over each other, your bodies seeming to melt together as they mingled.
“Shanks-” You moan happily between kisses, “Ah, feels like…”
You blushed when you reached between your legs, feeling his hardness grind into your palm. He looked at you, a dark interest in his eyes, “Can’t you tell I’m happy to see you?”
He winked, and you looked away sheepishly, “I-I can see that now…”
“Here,” He pulled away, “Let me get out of my clothes too.”
He makes quick work of his shirt and pants, leaving him in only his underwear. You reach forward timidly before looking up at him with innocent eyes, “Can I, um…”
“Go ahead, princess, it’s all yours.”
You slowly tugged down his waistband and gasped when he came springing out. His giant, thick cock was throbbing and red. It looked desperate. You held it tenderly, the girthy dick pulsing in your hands.
“Woah…” You gasped, looking him over. He’s even better than you imagined.
As if lust possessed you, you sat up and situated yourself between his legs, eager to please him.
You looked up at him with innocent eyes while tentatively giving little kitten licks to his dick. As he hissed and fisted your hair with one hand, you hollowed your cheeks and took him in your mouth. Then, without thinking, you swallowed him down as far as you could, your nose brushing against his light pubic hair. He moaned out for you, tilting his head back.
“Fuck, that feels so good, sweetheart...”
You smiled to yourself, bobbing up and down his length as fast as you could, gagging all the way as little tears started to pool in your eyes. Still, you persisted, wanting to make your Daddy feel good.
You pulled off for a moment, watching his cock twitch in the open air. The way it throbbed and twitched made your pussy wetter than ever before. Drool escaped the corners of your lips and you wiped it off with the back of your hand before diving between his legs, lapping at his full balls.
“Fuck-” He growled, grabbing at your hair even tighter, “Not leaving a single inch untouched, are you, princess?”
You pulled off his balls for a moment, your face red as your hands continued stroking his shaft.
“Nuh uh,” You shake your head, “I want Daddy to know how much I love his cock…”
He let out a hearty laugh before you went back to work, licking him from base to tip before swallowing him up again. With each movement upwards, you swirled your tongue around his aching tip. Shanks groaned happily.
“That’s it,” He encouraged, “You’re good at this, sweetheart. How many boys have you practiced on, huh?”
You pulled off him, stroking his leaking tip, “I-I’ve only had sex with one person before you, Daddy… But I wish I saved myself for you. I just- I figured you never would’ve done this with me, no matter how much I fantasized…” You shook your head, “I tried to move on.”
“Oh, honey…” He smiles softly, tucking your hair behind your ear, “Let’s make up for lost time then, alright?”
He picked you up and laid you on the bed, kissing your inner thigh softly. “Let Daddy take care of you, alright, princess?”
You gasped when you felt him lick a long stripe of your pussy. “D-Daddy!”
“Just relax, baby.” Shanks mumbled into your cunt, “Let Daddy show you what a lifetime of experience feels like…”
He groaned as he pressed delicate kisses to your clit, making your pussy clench around nothing. You tossed your head to the side as Shanks kissed your sensitive nub, his tongue eventually teasing it as well. Your legs relaxed as his warm, rough hands stroked your thighs, soothing you.
“What a pretty little pussy…” He kisses your cunt again, “So sweet… So swollen…”
“Ngh,” You tilted your head back, “Daddy…”
He continued pressing kisses to your clit. The action was surprisingly sweet and tender, his lips feather light on your sensitive, swollen nub. Eventually though, his tongue peeked out from his lips, the kisses feeling wet. His facial hair tickled your pussy lips, the feeling completely foreign to you.
Shanks then guided his hand to your slit, rubbing your hole with his fingers. Slowly, he pressed one inside, his middle finger instinctively hooking upwards. You arched your back, loving how he rubbed that special spot inside you.
“Ah, Daddy-!” You whimpered, and he looked up at you, long hair falling in his face.
“Quiet, don’t want your dad to come knocking, right?” He chuckles, “Man, this is reminding me of high school… Fucking girls while their parents were home… It’s so fucking hot, isn’t it?”
You nodded, placing a hand over your mouth as Shanks teased that bundle within you.
With deft fingers, he continued teasing your g-spot as his tongue busied itself with your clit. Sweet soft kisses turned to absolutely messy licking, his tongue swiping over your clit with drool dripping from his mouth. His movements were quick as the flat of his tongue worked you over and over. Your legs trembled, your second orgasm approaching much faster than your first now that you were so sensitive.
“D-Daddy, stop-”
“What’s the matter, princess?” He stopped, worried about you.
“I-I feel like-” you stuttered, “Like I have to pee-”
Shanks’ eyes light up, “Yeah? That’s good, baby. Let it go; that means you gotta squirt. You’re gonna do it for Daddy, right? You know how much he loves that.”
“I’ll try, but-” You whined, “I-I’ve never done that before-”
“It’s alright,” he shushed you, “I know just what to do, alright? It’ll feel so good once you do it, princess- just trust me.”
You nodded quickly, “I-I trust you, Daddy.”
Shanks smiles and inserts a second finger into your hole, two fingers rubbing your g-spot smoothly. You whimper as his other hand touches your clit, rubbing the bud. His fingers begin to pick up speed, causing you to clench your teeth.
“S-Shanks-” You moan, “I-I feel it- I-It’s coming-”
“That’s it, baby, let it happen-”
Your eyes shut tight, and you felt all the pressure inside release. You heard it, too, the sound of your juices wetting the bed sheets underneath you. You tried opening your eyes, but everything was spinning. You attempted to catch your breath as Shanks praised you.
“That’s it…” he cooed, “You did so well. You’re definitely ready for Daddy’s dick now, pretty girl…”
Shanks kissed your clit one last time before readjusting himself so he was leaning over you. He took his desperate, swollen cock in hand and rubbed it against your sopping-wet hole, your hip in his other hand.You whimpered as his fat head slid over your desperate, yet overstimulated clit. Even though you had already cum twice, your body couldn’t get enough of him.
“This is it, princess. You sure this is what you want?”
You nodded eagerly, “Yes, more than anything.”
Shanks sighed, “Here goes…”
He eased himself inside inch by inch, only stopping once he bottomed out within you. You gasped and reached for his back, gripping his shoulders tight. Meanwhile, both of his hands held your waist.
Shanks cooed at you, “Alright, pretty girl, Daddy will go slowly, okay? Let him know when he can move. He knows it’s been a while for you, so he wants to be gentle… at least at first.”
Shanks hissed, feeling how tightly your snug walls pressed around him.
As he was sheathed entirely within you, he pressed his forehead against yours, staring deep into your eyes.
“You’re the best little girl. Daddy is so proud of you. You are such a good girl, fuck-”
Shanks’ little ramble about you was cut short when your walls tightened a bit more.
You kissed him deeply and once you pulled away, you pressed your forehead against his, “Y-You can move, Daddy.”
Shanks nodded and started pulling out slowly, his thick length stretching you out. He only pulled out halfway before thrusting back inside, causing you to whine. You gripped his back even more, wrapping your legs around his waist.
“Mm, Daddy-” You moan, “More-”
Shanks chuckled a bit before pulling out halfway again, this time forcing himself into you even rougher.
You let out a louder whine at the feeling.
As you were going to beg for more, Shanks shoved three fingers inside your mouth. Your eyes widened as you were taken by surprise.
“Now, little girl, didn’t Daddy tell you to be quiet? Do you want your dad to find us like this? Do you want him to see his daughter under me crying and begging for my cock?”
You shook your head as he started pounding a bit rougher into you.
“Then be a good girl for Daddy and suck on his fingers as he fucks your little pussy raw, yeah?”
His words made your needy cunt clench around him like a vice. You shut your eyes tight, eagerly sucking his fingers as he stretched you out.
Shanks’ hips are desperate, his balls smacking against your lips as he rammed himself inside you. You felt as though you were ascending to Heaven with how he was fucking you. Your toes curled and your back arched, your body desperately needing more of him.
You opened your eyes timidly to see his dark red hair hanging in front of his face, his brow furrowed as he put all his energy into pounding you. Your nails dug into his shoulders, no doubt leaving red marks on his tanned flesh.
You let out a disappointed groan when Shanks’ hips stop moving.
“Let Daddy show you a position that’ll let him give your cervix kisses…” Shanks mumbled before folding your body into a tight mating press.
When he slammed back inside, you let out a loud moan around his fingers. You had never felt so full before in your life. Nothing compared to this feeling.
When you heard Shanks laugh, you opened your eyes to look at him. He slipped his fingers from your mouth, drool connecting his fingers to your lips.
“Now look at that, little girl, you can see Daddy’s cock in your stomach. How cute…” You looked down to see the faint outline of his dick poking out of your stomach.
You bit your lip to stop yourself from crying as he pressed down your stomach, feeling his cock through you.
The pleasure was getting too much, having already cum twice. You started tearing up a bit at the overstimulation.
Shanks cooed at you, “Is this too much for my little princess? But Daddy hasn’t come yet, sweetheart. We can’t have that now, can we?”
You shook your head, more tears falling down your cheeks as you pressed your hand to your mouth to avoid making too much noise now that Shanks’ hands were occupied.
“You look so cute with little tears in your eyes, princess. Are you gonna let Daddy fuck you raw until he’s satisfied? Will you let Daddy creampie your little pussy?”
Shanks’ thrusts were getting rougher each second. Your eyes roll back as he rams his cock into your further walls, the curve of his cock brushing your g-spot along the way.
You took your hand off your mouth so you could whisper, “Yes, Daddy, please creampie my pussy, fuck me until you’re satisfied. I-I’ll take it like a good girl.”
Shanks growled lowly at you as your pussy clenched harder.
Life felt like eternity as Shanks pleasured you. Your bodies fit together perfectly, your hushed sounds like a muted symphony. Everything was perfect.
Until there was a knock at the door.
“Sweetheart?”
Shit, it was your father.
“Y-Yes, Dad?”
“Have you seen Shanks?”
“Uhm-” You looked up at Shanks who had a wild grin on his face. You reached for his stomach, trying to push him away, but he only pounded faster, making your head fuzzy. Your legs quivered as you tried to come up with an excuse.
“H-He’s- uh- in the bathroom!” You squeaked out, hoping that would satisfy your father.
“I just checked,” Your dad responds, “The door’s wide open.”
Shit.
“Uh, maybe he’s outside then?” You let out a frustrated groan, “I-I don’t know dad! I thought I told you I’d be on a call with a f-friend! I’m sure he’s somewhere around here!”
There’s a silence that follows, the sound of hips smacking against each other filling the room’s air. You hoped and prayed your father couldn’t hear it through the door.
“Right.” He says, “Sorry I interrupted your call.”
And with that, the sound of footsteps grew faint.
“Now it really feels like high school,” Shanks smiled, “Fuck, I was so close-”
You blushed furiously, “Y-You owe me for that!”
Shanks laughed, leaning forward to whisper in your ear, “C’mon, you had to admit, the thrill of it was amazing. We could’ve gotten caught just now…”
You whimper as Shanks bites your earlobe, his quick, powerful thrusts making you melt.
“S-Shanks, you’re crazy-” You gasp out, trying to look at him with a stern expression, but your lustful expression beats it easily.
“Just crazy about you.” He winks.
He moans softly as he buries his head in your neck, his chest positioned between your pushed back legs. His forceful thrusts somehow get even more strong, the power behind them knocking the air out your lungs.
“Mn, S-Shanks-” You whimper, your voice shaking.
“That’s it, little girl, so good, you’re so good for Daddy,” He cooed, “Daddy will keep you forever, fuck you dumb until your little pussy can only cum with Daddy’s dick. Is that what you want? For Daddy to keep you as his little girl forever?”
“Yes, Daddy, please,” You cried as low as you could.
Shanks’ thrusts were getting a bit sloppy as he fucked you, the thrill of everything finally getting to him.
“Can you cum again for Daddy?”
As he said those words, you felt yourself squirt again for him, the force of your orgasm pulling Shanks over the edge as you felt his cum fill you up. He groaned lowly, biting his lip to muffle his sounds.
The both of you collapsed, panting together, not letting go of each other.
You looked up to stare into his eyes, “Did you mean it, Daddy? Will you keep me forever?”
His eyes softened as he slowly pulled out, cum leaking out of you, as he went to hug you tightly.
“Did you mean it, princess? You really wanna belong to a perverted old man like me?”
You cuddled into him, “I’ve always wanted you, Daddy.”
He chuckled, “Then all we gotta do is think of a way to break the news to your old man that doesn’t end up with him killing me.”
Post Credits Scene
In the morning, you yawn and stretch as you come down the stairs, Shanks following not far behind. Your dad is already awake, as usual, his cup of coffee in his hands as he sits at the table. He gives a slight nod to you and Shanks, and you both take a seat.
“How did your call go?” Benn asks, looking at you with an unreadable expression.
“It went well!” You chirped up, unable to hide your excitement from last night’s events.
“Yeah, I heard.” Shanks grins, “Up all night talking to that guy, huh?”
You fight the urge to kick him under the table.
“I’m curious, though,” your father looked at you both, “What kind of call was it that involved all that noise?”
Your face paled, and you looked at Shanks, who wore an uneasy smile, trying his best to formulate some kind of excuse.
“W-What do you mean, Dad?”
“Oh, just…” Your father pauses, sipping his coffee, “There was a lot of thumping last night, is all. I don’t recall hearing those sounds since I was roommates with Shanks in college.”
Shanks’ face has a soft tint to it.
“Ah, well, you know…” Shanks vaguely gestures, his voice trailing off.
“Oh yes, I sure do. I just never expected for you to do it with my daughter as well.”
Your face lost all color as Shanks’ face blushed a bit harder. Your eyes darted to the older man, but it looked like even he couldn’t charm his way out of this one.
“D-Dad, listen, I-” Your dad cut you off before you could finish.
He suddenly snaps, his calm demeanor gone, “What the hell is wrong with you, Shanks?!”
“H-Hey, it’s not like that…” Shanks’ voice shakes a bit with uncertainty.
“Bullshit, How long have you been fucking my daughter?”
Benn’s stern expression causes chills to run up your spine. He’s usually a serious man, but that look is one you haven’t seen in a long time if you’ve ever seen it this intense.
“It’s really not like that, Dad, I swear!”
“You don’t have to protect him, sweetheart.” His tone softened just for you as he glared daggers at Shanks.
“I’m not! I started it; I-I just didn’t know it was him!”
Then understanding seemed to dawn on your dad. Still, though, he had that same disapproving look on his face. You were having trouble reading him now.
“You called a phone sex hotline?” Then he looked at Shanks, “My daughter is the ‘little princess’ you haven’t shut the fuck about for the last few months?”
“You told my dad about this?!”
Shanks looked pale now as both your dad and you glared at him, “I-I didn’t know it was you at the time!”
Shanks begins to scramble for his words, now confronted with two angry people instead of just one. His cool is suddenly out the window as his best friend stares at him, his gaze showing that he’s debating how to kill Shanks and hide the body.
“Look, I know this is bad, sleeping with your daughter was never my plan, it’s just, y-you know I’ve always liked younger girls, a-and then she called me, and I started to look forward to her calls and-” His rambling was cut short as he looked at both your dad and you.
Shanks took a deep breath before talking again, “I really like your daughter, Benn, like for a permanent thing. I promise I won’t hurt her!”
“I really like him too, Dad; please don’t hate us!”
His face is hard as stone, your father’s gaze is disapproving, and you let out a deep sigh, your shoulders slumped. You knew this wouldn’t have gone well.
“You break my daughter’s heart,” He starts, “And I break your fucking neck.”
Shanks gives a nervous but excited smile.
You let out a happy laugh as you hug your dad, “Thank you, you’re the best! I love you!”
“Yeah, you’re grounded for the rest of the month, kid.”
You sigh but give a smile nonetheless. There were certainly worse outcomes.
It's just like them, thinks Martyn, miserably, To want to make these things stick.
He's always been an "act first, weasel your way out of any potential consequences later," kind of guy, so immediate, painful and permanent consequences to his recklessness strike him as unfair, unwarranted, and quite possibly a personal attack.
But, well. Here he still is anyway. What's he going to do about it?
His ankle burns where the baby zombie clawed at it. His legs ache from the dripstone, and the dripstone, and, yes, the dripstone again, and also walking off Mumbo's house and perhaps slightly misjudging his landing.
His ear keeps ringing and most of his right side stings from the creeper that decided, quite rudely, to sneak up on him and then blow up directly in his face about half a second before he could raise his shield. And the gravel later on, that he'd seen falling but still not managed to avoid, hadn't helped with any of that either.
He can feel blood dripping down his back in no less then five separate places, along with his arm, his shoulder, and the side of his head—that last one bled a lot and got onto his bandanna which was pretty annoying, actually—all from his many encounters with what he thinks were probably, at a conservative estimate, about a billion skeletons.
He doesn't quite glare up at the Secret Keeper. The healing they'd given him had been too much of a relief for that; his vision had stopped swimming, that head wound had stopped bleeding so much, and it was significantly less painful to walk. But the look he gives them is certainly glare-adjacent.
"You do know injuries aren't supposed to stick around like this, don't you?" he mutters, bitterly. "I know you like twisting stuff, but this is ridiculous. It's unnatural, is what it is!"
Someone snorts behind him.
He turns, and he sees Cleo. Neat, meticulous stitches are visible across their skin. Martyn hasn't met many people with scars before, but she's one of them.
The only new one is what looks, ironically enough, like a zombie bite on their arm, entirely healed over.
"It's really not that hard to deal with if you're just patient," she says.
"Ah," he says. "Well. That's my problem right there, then, isn't it?"
"It certainly looks like it," they say, amused. They're laughing at him again. He can't even be mad, since all in all, he totally deserves it.
"Yeah, alright," he says, a bit indignant just for the sake of what remains of his pride. "No need to rub it in! I hope you realize that if healing just worked normally, I'd be doing really well, actually."
"Hmm. Right, you do tend to throw yourself off of cliffs, and then try and work out how you'll save yourself on the way down, don't you?" She gives him a knowing look. "But look on the bright side—when you do die, you'll get to be perfectly healthy again for... I give it ten seconds. After that, you'll start making decisions."
"Hey, I'll have you know I went to the Nether for ages, and got out without a scratch on me that I didn't have when I arrived!" he retorts.
"Oh, so you can be careful, you just choose not to be?" They raise a judgemental eyebrow.
"Well... I mean." He half-shrugs, then winces. "I mean. Yeah. Yes. You know this about me."
There is a brief pause. She gives him an unreadable look, eyes catching on the blood seeping through his shirt. "...Yeah. I guess I do."
He glances over at the Secret Keeper again, bold and unmoving against the unnaturally darkened sky.
When he looks back, Cleo is still watching him. "You didn't even bandage those, did you?" they ask, with a touch of what most people would think was disdain. "Let alone stitch them up."
"I mean, no? It's not like it'll do anything, is it?" he asks, taken aback. "The good old 'Powers That Be' want us to bleed, and they want us to keep bleeding! Who am I to argue?"
She narrows her eyes as though she doesn't quite understand his point. "I'm not saying that would fix it. I don't think any of us are going to live long enough for that method of healing to work." They shrug. "Would make it hurt less, though."
Now it's his turn to narrow his eyes. "Oh yeah?"
"Yeah," she says. "At least, so I've heard. For me, it's mostly about making sure I don't start physically falling apart, because it's really inconvenient when that does start happening."
He nods in acknowledgement. "Well, maybe I'll give it a go if I have the time." It all sounds a bit far-fetched to him. Much better to spend time working towards completing the next secret task he gets, or persuading people to give him the healing they have to spare, rather than losing hours on something that wouldn't actually help him in the long run.
(Maybe it's an echo, maybe it's just who he is, but Martyn's time is precious, and he is not giving it up for something so monotonous. Who would find that interesting?)
"Alright," they say. "If you're sure. But no one else is going to do it for you, you know."
He snorts. "Cleo," he says. "You're funny." She, of all people, should know he's already well aware of that.
"Right," they say, dryly. "Well, unless you want anything else I think I'm done here."
"Nah, not really." he says, then pauses. Frowns.
As unconvinced as he is, she really didn't have to say that to him. She deserves at least something in return.
"I will say," he says delicately, "if that advice really does help. You should probably keep it to yourself. You know. Death game, and all that."
All at once, their expression turns cold. "I think it's my business what I choose to give up, actually," she snaps.
Martyn's eyes briefly flick over to the Secret Keeper. "I mean..."
"No. I meant what I said." They cross their arms. "It's up to other people what they choose to do with it. But what I give them is up to me." She glances at the Secret Keeper, and then back to him. "No one's ever been able to tell me what I owe, or don't owe, to anyone." They smirk, and give him a piercing look. "You know this about me."
"...Yeah," he says. "I guess I do."
There is a short silence.
"Well!" He claps abruptly. "I won't keep you!"
"No, you won't," she says. "I'd best be off. This might come as a surprise, but I do actually have better things to do than hang out around Grian's creepy rock all day."
"Fair, fair." He chuckles, and raises a hand in farewell as they leave. "See you around."
Once she's out of sight, he goes back to staring at the Secret Keeper.
It's quiet.
"They're doing pretty well this time, huh?" he says. "If she keeps going like this, she probably won't get another happy ending, will she."
The air is very still, here. It's as though the place is trapped in night, even when he can see the sun in the sky.
The Secret Keeper does not answer him.
"I know you, though," he says. "You won't let it be all about being careful. That would be boring."
The thought nags at him that Cleo hasn't sounded as though they'd found any of this boring. Surely there had to be more to it than what she'd said? There had to be.
If there wasn't, then what was the point of all this pain?
He shifts, and his shoulder twinges, and he hisses quietly with frustration.
"Things already stuck," he says, unhappily. "They already stayed. I thought that was obvious."
The rock just stands there.
Judgemental. Impartial. It's impressive how it can manage to be both.
Martyn sighs heavily, and winces, and turns away. He looks towards his extremely small, entirely copied base, and a place where the sky is capable of letting in the light.
He pokes gingerly at his head wound. It's shallow, but painful.
"Maybe just this one," he mutters. "Could repurpose my bandanna. Although I guess I should probably wash it first. That would be smart." He wipes at his face. "If I don't then blood's going to start getting in my eyes. But not in a cool way, just in a way where I'll fall in a ravine by accident or something."
Nobody responds. That's ok. He hasn't exactly endeared himself to anyone, recently.
In a game that's even more about trust than usual, there's a part of him that doesn't mind being a lone wolf, as it were. At least for now. Harder to stab someone in the back if you don't let them get behind you, right?
He can make this work. He'll just have to adapt. He's good at that, usually! He just has to find the angle.
After all, he may not be patient, but he is persistent.
And he suspects being a liar will come in handy, for this one.
Tumblr media
loneliness was something that consumed you constantly. it was a scary feeling sometimes, especially because of the things it could drive someone to do.
you wished you didn't feel like this, but you couldn't help it.
before getting into a relationship with touya, you knew of the lifestyle he lived and how much of his time it took up. at first you thought you could handle it, but over time you soon realized that wasn't true. hours of him being gone quickly turned into days, sometimes even weeks and it was driving you crazy. you really wanted to try and continue to sit compliantly and let him do what he wished to do, but you were at your wits end.
sometimes you wondered why you even continued to put up with him, especially when you knew deep down that he'd probably choose to continue committing villainous acts over your relationship.
but you knew the answer to that-it was because you loved him, and sometimes love can make you do crazy things.
so now here you were; sitting on the old couch in your living room. the edges of the fabric having frayed ends and burn marks here and there from the moments touya let his temper get the best of him.
you can't remember how long you've been sitting there anxiously, waiting for your boyfriend to get home, but you felt your heart beat faster when you heard the front door being unlocked.
you wiped your sweaty palms on your pants and took a deep breath, trying to prepare yourself to confront touya, who sighed as he walked through the door and his heavy boots thudding along with each step.
he walked over to you and threw himself down on the couch, placing an arm around your shoulders and pulling you into him. moments like this made it hard to stay mad.
he placed a kiss on your temple, "hey. you miss me?"
you fiddled with your fingers as you leaned further into his chest, "of course i did. i'm glad you're home."
he tilted his head down to look at you, "then how come you don't sound happy, huh?" he asked, squeezing your shoulder as he did so.
you frowned, knowing he'd caught onto your bad mood already. he was way too perceptive sometimes.
"i am happy touya, i promise." you insisted, "it's just..."
"it's just what?"
you sat up from your position and faced him, but it was hard to look him in the eyes. "i just wanted to talk to you about something that's been bothering me."
he looked at you for a moment, expressionless, making you even more nervous until he said, "alright, what is it?"
you took a deep breath.
"you're never home touya, and i miss you." you frowned, "i worry about you and when you're gone for so long i get lonely. i miss spending time with you."
he groaned, "babe, do you not understand why i'm gone? or do i need to tell you, is that it?" he asked.
you regretted this now.
"no, i know why but it's just-"
"if you know why, then why do you fucking ask me?!" he yelled, making you shrink into yourself. you two had bickered over things before and there were even times when you needed space from each other, but touya had never yelled at you like this.
you could feel your eyes prick with tears and the lump in your throat grow, "touya don't yell at me!" you cried.
"i'm yelling at you so you get this through your god damn head!" he snapped, "i can't be here, sitting on my ass like you every fucking day. i have shit i need to do to make my plans happen!"
you gasped at his words. did he really think that's all you did?
"you know damn well i don't just stay at home on my ass, touya! i work too!" you said, tapping his chest with your finger as you pointed it at him.
"i buy the groceries! i make the food! i wash your blood stained clothes! i do everything i can, but you don't know because you're never here!" you yelled, taking a deep breath after so you could continue speaking.
you sighed heavily and spoke softly, your energy gone from yelling. "you're never here touya..." you sniffed, letting the tears run down your cheeks. you brought your hands up to your eyes to wipe them away, "i love you, so i miss you. i just wish you were home more so i don't have to spend my nights all alone."
touya was breathing heavily, but sitting silently as he processed your words. he was perceptive, sure, but he wasn't really good with emotions and dealing with people when they were upset.
feeling guilty, he wrapped his arms around your crying figure and hugged you tightly to his chest. he brought a hand up to your head and stroked it gently, shushing your cries. you stayed like that until your crying had become sniffles with occasional hiccups.
"i'm sorry," he said softly, "i'm sorry i'm always gone. i fucking suck at this, i don't know how to be here for you... but i'm going to do better now, for you, okay? i love you too. i don't say that enough."
you brought your hands away from your face and wrapped your arms around his waist, leaning your head against his beating heart and closing your eyes.
"as long as you try, touya. i know you're not perfect, and that's okay with me. i love you the way you are."
"scars and all?" he asked jokingly, making you giggle.
"scars and all."
TW: possessive!Jason, yandere! Jason, one random look and he's already frothing at the mouth lmao.
STALKING IS NEVER OKAY.
Not if Jason does it.
Stalking creates uncertainty, and severe levels of anxiety and fear, and can absolutely destroy or disrupt lives. It can involve harsh—even brutal—violence. Stalking involves a habit of overtly illicit and/or seemingly innocent behaviour that makes victims fear for themselves or others, illegal in all 50 glorious states of the United States of America.
Not if Jason does it.
From once simple glance at you, innocently sipping at your caramel frappuccino in a local coffee shop, the way your hair ever so perfectly curled and swayed, cascading down your back in a flawless pattern, made him wonder what burying his nose in such soft strands would feel like, Would you smell like coconut? Vanilla? Lavender?
Maybe strawberry shortcake?
It wasn't just your hair that left Jason ogling at you, It was your skin, It was your legs, You're perfect... Perfect complexion, Thank fuck he was a vigilante.
The way your soft and lanky fingers rapidly tapped across your laptop, made him wonder what you worked as, Doctor? Assistant? Teacher?
Maybe a nurse?
From the moment he fixed his eyes on you, it was like a scar, his eyes burning his initials across your neck and your shiny, silky legs.
Night after that specific night, it was like you left a footprint in his memory, Gotham was a boring old city, sure he grew up here all his life— but no one caught his eye, no one left a mark inside of his heart, no one made his knees wobbly or his heart throb in his chest just from one glance.
No one like you.
Let's face it, He was Jason todd, Redhood, what would a perfect girl like you do with him? How was he going to fit you in his schedule? From saving the city and trying to save you? From what?
He didn't care.
Aslong as he had you in his arms, he didn't care about anything else.
Gotham could burn to pieces for all he cared.
Fuck, he was going insane.
A/N: hey....🙂
even I don't know why I just randomly stopped posting but im hereeeeee.
I've been writing a stalking thingy for jason it just needs a few corrections and ill be able to post it, how have y'all been tho?
ALSO 100 DOEJEIDKSK WHY ARE THERE 145 OF YOU?!
But this is just the introduction for the series, I'll see you guys later tho!
Masterlist: x
Jack avoids you for the next week or so
Hell, he avoids basically everyone
He stays locked up in his room, going back and forth between wishing you hadn’t slept with Jeff and trying to convince himself that you’re your own person, and you can do whatever you want
Or whoever you want, for that matter
Still, he can’t help the burning pit of rage in his stomach every time his thoughts wander to the scarred-faced killer
Of all the fucking people
Unfortunately, staying in his room gets old fast
But he still refuses to step out
Because the last few times he’s left his room, something bad has happened
And logically, he knows he can’t stay inside forever
And he knows that running into you is inevitable
But knowing it isn’t enough to stop him from stalling—he’ll delay having to see you for as long as possible
Part of him is also worried about running into Jeff
He doesn’t know what he’ll do to him the next time he sees that asshole
Killing another resident is strictly prohibited, but he doesn’t know if he’ll have the willpower to stop himself from caving his head in when he sees his dumb fucking face
The mental image brings a smile to the demon’s lips
It would be so easy
It would be so satisfying
With a sigh, Jack makes his way to the window and pulls the curtains open
It looks like a nice day out
The sun is still rising in the blue sky, the green leaves are swaying in the breeze, the birds are chirping
He shuts the blinds close, plunging himself back into the darkness once more
It’s better this way, he thinks
He’s about to crack open one of his dusty medical books to bury himself in some studies when he gets a text
Hoodie: Hey, you busy? What’re you up to?
Nm, he types back, and though he’s grateful for the unexpected distraction, he almost wishes he could just be left alone for a few more days
He needs more time to stew in his misery
A reply comes a few minutes later
Hoodie: Ight, you down to train? Masky’s out of commission, I need a partner
The demon sighs
He looks around his room
He’s not necessarily messy per se, but he’s also most certainly not the tidiest
Books, clothes, and a few medical supplies are strewn across the room
He could spend the day cleaning
Or he could spend it reading, or learning a new skill, or picking up some kind of hobby or something
He runs his fingers through his hair
Even though he doesn’t want to admit it, he knows what he should do
I’ll be there in 10, he finally answers
Jack purposefully takes the longer route through the mansion—just so that he can be sure he won’t encounter you
It’s petty, he knows it is, but at this point, he almost doesn’t care
He’s too frustrated and miserable to bother acting civilized
Hoodie’s already waiting for him when he reaches the training field
Located a short trek into the forest, the proxies have their own private cabin next to a broad open clearing
And said clearing, of which, is often used as an outdoor sparring ground
It’s almost always more fun training out here rather than inside
Something about a cramped, sweaty basement just isn’t Jack’s favorite
The proxy’s leaning against the short rotting wooden fence lining one side of the clearing, his arms folded over his chest, when Jack approaches
He gives a nod to the demon as he notices him
“Hey,” Jack says, and when he remembers what Hoodie said about his partner, he asks, “is Masky alright?”
Hoodie shrugs nonchalantly
“Yeah, it’s just a minor injury—no big deal”
He pushes off the fence, adding, “he’ll be fine, it’s just not the best to train with”
Jack nods
He follows the human into the clearing, and the two ready themselves on opposite sides
“You didn’t need me to take a look at it?”
He gets into his fighting stance as he speaks, and Hoodie does the same
“Nah, that newbie checked it out,” the proxy rolls his neck out, and it makes a satisfying crack, before then stretching his shoulder as well, “Besides, you were MIA”
The two face one another
A gust of wind rustles through the trees around them
They share a mutual nod to indicate they’re both set, and then the tension grows palpable as the combat session begins
Jack’s one of the strongest and fastest residents at the mansion
If not the strongest and fastest
He usually gives his sparring partner a chance by letting them make the first move
But it’s like all of the jealousy, anger and frustration that’s been building up until this point suddenly snaps inside of him
And in a flash, he charges at the human in front of him
Hoodie tries to dodge, but Jack’s inhumanly fast, and he easily lands his blow to the proxy’s stomach
The human grunts, doubling over, but he’s fast and smart enough to know that he should move before Jack strikes again
He sidesteps him, but he’s slower and clumsier after that first hit, and Jack almost feels bad for him
Maybe he should pull his punches a little more
He can’t let his anger overtake him; he’s the one who has to patch him up afterward if he hits too hard
“The newbie—you mean that guy with the gas mask? What does he call himself again? Y’s Virus or something?”
He tries to distract himself, tries to make some kind of small talk to give the proxy a chance
Hoodie huffs out a laugh
“X-Virus,” he corrects, and seeing that Jack’s giving him a moment to recover, he tries to shake the pain off before resuming his stance
The two circle one another, staying parallel with a fair amount of distance between them
“The kid knows medicine?” Jack asks, matching Hoodie’s movements
“Seems like it. He’s gotta have some kind of use for the boss to keep him. Being a cocky brat with a baseball bat isn’t enough to cut it”
He sidesteps Jack, tries to fake him out, then aims for a kick at his legs
The demon easily jumps back, then uses his momentum to mimic Hoodie’s maneuver
It gets the proxy down, giving Jack the perfect opportunity to get him in a headlock
Hoodie grunts, hands flying up to try to pry Jack off of him
“And what about you?” he asks, his voice audibly strained as he struggles in his hold, “where’ve you been this past week?”
“Busy,” he answers, and then to avoid getting pressed for an answer, he tightens his hold around his throat
Hoodie struggles for longer than Jack expects
But eventually, left with no other choice, he gives in, tapping out, and Jack finally releases him
The proxy gasps, coughing, trying to get a rush of air into his lungs, as Jack stands and offers him a hand
“I hit a nerve?” Hoodie asks, rubbing his throat before taking the help getting up
Jack eyes him for a moment
“What’re you playing at?” he finally asks
Though he wouldn’t consider himself on bad terms with the proxy, he knows fully well that the proxy often has ulterior motives
He can’t—or at least, he shouldn’t—always trust him so easily
Sensing this, Hoodie puts his hands up defensively
“Hey man, I’m not playing at anything,” he claims, “you haven’t been around, and (y/n)’s coincidentally gotten all gloomy recently”
Jack’s ears perk up at the mention of your name
“What do you mean?”
It seems it’s Hoodie’s turn to eye him suspiciously now
“What do you mean ‘what do I mean?’ Did something happen between the two of you?”
When Jack hesitates to answer, Hoodie continues
“Look man, it’s no secret that you’ve got a thing for her. But if you somehow hurt her—”
“I didn’t”
When Jack quickly interrupts him, Hoodie raises a brow at him
Jack sighs
“Listen, there’s nothing going on between us. She’s...” he swallows down the memory of what you said to him in the garden, then forces himself to finish his sentence, “she’s not interested in me”
Hoodie seems to study him for a moment, almost as if trying to judge whether or not he’s lying
“...And what makes you say that?”
“Because she...” Jack stops himself in his tracks, shaking his head, “I-I just know, alright? She’s not into me”
Jack watches as Hoodie pauses to think for a moment
“Well, I clearly don’t know what happened between the two of you,” and before Jack can intercept again, Hoodie adds, “and clearly, something did happen”
“But, whatever,” he continues, “it’s none of my business. All I can say is that, if I were you, I’d try to talk to her. Something’s been bothering her, and something’s obviously bothering you too, and the best you can do is just try to sort things out with her”
It’s now Jack’s turn to get quiet
Had he been too harsh with you the last time he saw you?
Were you worried about him because you hadn’t seen him since?
Seeing him hesitate so much, Hoodie asks if he’ll try talking to you
"...Yeah, alright, I will. I’ll try talking to her,” Jack finally agrees
Hoodie grins
“Finally. Well, with that out of the way, can we finally spar?”
The rest of the training session goes relatively well, all things considered
Jack’s distracted thinking about you, so Hoodie manages to land a fair amount of blows, but he’s still ultimately no match for the demon
Even on the whole trek back through the forest to get to the mansion, Jack’s thoughts are racing a mile a minute
If he was the slightest bit more aware of his surroundings, maybe he would’ve remembered to take the longer route to avoid seeing Jeff on the way in
Maybe he could’ve prevented the killer from noticing him, from locking eyes with him
Maybe he could’ve changed paths when he realized he was headed straight toward him
But that latter one is doubtful, considering the rage tightening in his sternum at the mere sight of him
Jack wouldn’t have backed down at that point—no matter how alert he was
“Out of my way,” Jeff grumbles
He nearly shoulder-checks him, but Jack moves out of the way before it connects
“Watch where you’re fucking going”
The venomous animosity dripping from Jack’s tone is enough to make the raven-haired killer pause in his tracks
“Fuck you just say to me?”
There’s no mistaking the pecking order in the mansion
Jack’s on top
But he’s usually easy-going enough to ignore Jeff’s constant attempts at proving himself
Not today
“I said—“ Jack straightens himself up, all but hissing the words out, “watch where you’re fucking going”
A look of visible confusion flashes over Jeff’s features
Until it clicks
“Ohh, I get it,” he snickers, and the sound makes Jack want to rip him to shreds right then and there
“You’re just upset because I fucked your little girlfriend before you ever even got the chance”
The way he admits to it—so crudely, so shamelessly—it actually takes Jack by surprise
And Jeff, being the constant prick he is, doesn’t stop there
“God, y’know, she’s actually way less innocent than she lets on. She likes it dirty—filthy. Like a desperate little slut. Wanna know her favorite position? She just loves getting—“
Jack punches him
He hits him directly in the temple, and it knocks Jeff out in one shot
It’s ridiculously satisfying
He only wishes he hadn’t gone down so easily—he would’ve loved to beat him down over and over again
With a snort, he walks away, leaving Jeff passed out on the ground behind him
He had planned to talk to you immediately after training with Hoodie, but he’s way too infuriated to do so right now
Instead, he makes a beeline back to his room
And he promises himself he’ll confront you the very next chance he gets
