Hey so I'm new here and I've been leaving offerings for the bats (bc that's what you do with protector spirits,why not vigilantes?) .Anyway one of them left a bag of cookies along with cash and dog treats? Is this normal for them?

I am so confused but my dog didn't growl at the cookies or the treats like she did when Joker was serving ice cream.

The cookies are from Red Hood or the elusive Agent A and the dog treats are from Robin. And yes, this is perfectly normal when the Colony finds a new offering/gift spot. The cookies are their most common gift in return.

Sunday Cleaning

We need more prompts with the Batfam and Alfred and I won't stand this Alfred erasure no more. (Side note, I didn't mean to write this much. It was suppose to be like bullet point fluff prompts like my last submission damn it.)

Alfred loves Bruce as his own child and Bruce's kids as his own grandchildren. Do not get him wrong he loves them all. It is just that as an old man growing older, he is not as fit as he used to be. Can he still get a bullseye with his guns? Yes. Will he still be able to shoot at people threatening his kid, his grandkids? He can and will, but it won't always remain that way. Just an old man growing fear of not being as helpful in saving his vigilante family from criminals to sometimes each other. Luckily he is still fit for his age, and while his worsening health is a concern, it is a concern for the far future. And he has plans in place for when his body fails him, after all, Batman having plans for his plans for his plans was partly a learned behavior from him. In the mean time, he is still the sole butler maintaining a mansion with secret nooks, crannies, and a hidden Batcave.

His newest grandkid, Danny, seems so unsure of his place in the household despite his attitude. Sure he gets along well with his brothers and sisters and his father (costume or not), but it is the little actions of double checking if he can do something by side-glancing his siblings that hurts Alfred. The sheer insecurity of even sitting on expensive furniture when Alfred knows he was the one who personally told Master Danny stories of a young Master Dick regularly swinging on the chandeliers since he was eight, Master Jason's vandalism of the Batcar, and even being told of how Master Damien ruined the shrubbery by using them as target practice with his swords. Danny is acting a lot like how Duke used to be. Careful of himself and his powers because of knowledge of Batman's stance on metas in Gotham, and how fragile their own family seems because of their abilities. They all know they are still learning, and occasionally causing mistakes or having fritz, but they are still children scared of accidentally hurting their family. 

It is only Sunday evening and the vacuuming must be done. However, he will bring up his concerns to Bruce when he returns from Wayne Towers. But speaking of the devil ghost, there he is. 

"Hello, Master Danny. What seems to be the concern?" While Bruce is a self-proclaimed detective, Alfred does not need to be one to see when his grandkid has an issue they want to discuss but is unsure how. 

"Umm nothing, but since I'm here, do you need help? Like I can lift stuff or turn it intangible if it helps?" Alfred lifts a brow. Not an answer, but it appears Danny is not ready to talk. Maybe some cocoa later will help.

"Your assistance will be appreciated, young Master. I will provide hot cocoa and some finger food afterwords." He has raised and helped raised several growing children. The only difference between Danny and the rest is only an increase in appetite due to his powers. The vigilantism is practically a genetic trait in his hodge-podge family. (And practically no one in this family stays dead for long.)

He has been both the sole servant since the passing of the Mister and Misses Wayne and sole caretaker of Master Bruce. He has taken care of this home and the residents single-handily since. Despite never needing help for chores, he still does not need help just yet. He can and will still deny Master Bruce desire to help. Don not get him wrong. His child is a great hero, but his life ban of cooking in his kitchen (despite it technically being Bruce's kitchen) still stands. But if his grandson wants to spend time with his calm grandfather before he is ready to talk about his problem, then who is he to deny? (And having a grandchild who can lift and turn objects intangible will finally make cleaning those dusty corners a breeze.)

DP x DC: Stuff about Alfred Pennyworth

Just some facts about our favorite butler, Alfred Thaddeus Crane Pennyworth.

-His full name is Alfred Thaddeus Crane Pennyworth

-He’s not as old as you probably think. He’s only 20 years older than Bruce, which would make him early 60′s at most currently. He was in his mid 40′s when batman started.

-He owns a shotgun. While Bruce doesn't like guns, Alfred doesn’t have such convictions, and is entirely ready to use it. 

-Former member of MI-5. Essentially, he was special ops, has serious military training and was part of the British counterintelligence agency that combats terrorism and espionage aka he was one of the guys that stopped spies. Some continuities had it where he was MI-6 instead.

-Has killed before. Special ops, remember?

-Former actor. He had a bit of an acting career after he left MI-5. This lasted until his father, Jarvis Pennyworth, requested he serve the Wayne family on his deathbed.

-He has a daughter, Julia Pennyworth, an agent of the Special Reconnaissance Regiment. She briefly took over his duties helping the Batclan, It was a whole thing involving her not respecting him because he went from MI-5 to working as a butler for Bruce Wayne before an Identity reveal. 

- He is also highly respected by those heroes who are aware of his existence, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and the original Teen Titans.

-Was romantically involved with Dr. Leslie Thompkins. Not much came from that aside from a few dates, but they dated.

-Proficient in emergency medical techniques, acting, mechanical and computer sciences, on top of being one hell of a butler

- While not as skilled at hand-to-hand combat as Bruce Wayne, Alfred is nearly as resourceful. Batman: Gotham Adventures 16 has him kidnapped, only to readily escape and overcome his captors without even mussing his suit. It is later mentioned that he has overcome 27 kidnapping attempts.

-Reads the Artimis Fowl novels

So yeah, Alfred is the best, he’s a hell of an actor, a resourceful former secret agent that has dated Dr. Thompkins and has a secret agent child with an unnamed woman

Why am I tagging this DP x DC? Simply fertilizing the soil. Not everyone is as familiar with the character, especially with how confusing continuity is. Me rambling on is simply an effort to both educate, and give creators in this crossover more things to work with. Maybe it inspires someone, maybe they use this information just to add a little something. Maybe they think, “huh, that’s interesting” and never have to use it

Also I’m just glad we collectively ignore the fact Alfred is dead in current continuity. If you didn’t know, Alfred is dead after Bane snapped his neck and killed off one of the best characters. So I guess we could tie it in with Danny meeting him as a ghost,

Zhao Yunlan is very careful about keeping his identities separate, but it's all useless when the Black Cloak Envoy appears just as he is trying to evacuate a newly-manifested Dixingren from under the SID's nose.

Charming AU with solid worldbuilding where Zhao Yunlun rebels against his father in an entirely different way - and runs smack into Shen Wei while he's at it.

He's literally already got like what, 6 or 7 kids he's adopted and taken under his wing for varying reasons, his own little Batfamily living with him in his house as he works through varying types and levels of trauma. God forbid you meet him in some sort of "your parents were murdered and you're basically another Robin he adopted" scenario because i imagine he never. Let's you really age out of that. Like you may stop being a sidekick and a crime fighter but like, leaving the Manor, the family, him? That's too dangerous. What if an old nemesis of yours comes back, or someone targets you to get to him? It's safer if you stay home and all your siblings just care for you so much 🥺

You just get absolutely NO privacy because you know that entire mansion is just bugged literally everywhere, you're in your room on your phone browsing the web, fucking Bruce is down in the cave on the Batcomputer watching your browsing history (and god imagine if he even, like, imposes some basic ass borderline purity culture kind of shit on you and keeps you away from like, adult stuff, or really just anything he thinks will be a bad influence)

You somehow manage to slip away from him (already unlikely) and he probably has you or a possession of yours microchipped. And then there's a matter of not just having to slip away from him, but also Dick, Barbara, fuck you think JASON is going to watch you set out on those harsh streets? Alfred alone can put your ass in some kind of time out, that special Pennyworth sleepy time tea he likes to give you for anxiety is a lil too sleepy if you kwim. I just can't even imagine the scope of surveillance you would be under after earning a spot in the heart of the world's greatest detective like, arguably the most GOATed member of the Justice League and he isn't even fucking magic. And you finally get away from him, the Batfamily, all of em, and you know who you get to deal with THEN? His buddy Clark. Have fun so much as hiding in a building or wearing a disguise from the fucking alien with XRAY VISION who can "fly faster than a speeding bullet", who can basically think and process thoughts as equally fast

Brainstorming for DCU/Warehouse 13 crossover: Following in Their Footsteps

Jack and Janet Drake were both secretly Warehouse 13 agents for years, even before Tim was born. The two met and fell in love while working at the Warehouse. Both worked under Artie and Mrs. Frederic, and both were witnesses to McPhearson's betrayal. Both Janet and Jack were gone for several years before Pete and Myka joined.

Jack joined as an archaeologist with a "vibe" for identifying artifacts. He could look around a room and zero in on a potential artifact. He wouldn't know what it could do, but he would sense it wasn't just a normal object.

Janet was recruited out of the CIA, and was often assigned to high-risk missions to retrieve artifacts from dangerous locations/people/situations. She was "the muscle" when it came to these kinds of retrievals. She was also trained in covert ops, and was an expert in going undercover to retrieve artifacts.

After Jack and Janet got married and had Tim, the pair attempted to semi-retire while raising their son. They settled in Gotham City so that while they were raising Tim, they could still do some work for the Warehouse because Gotham was a magnet/genesis spot for artifacts. They developed a business in the city as collectors/traders of rare antiquities, which was all just a cover to buy up artifacts and ship them to the Warehouse.

However, when McPhearson betrayed Artie and there was no one else but Artie to run the Warehouse and collect artifacts, Jack and Janet reluctantly decided to return to active duty once Tim was old enough to go to boarding school. These were the "archaeological trips" Jack and Janet went on together.

Jack and Janet wanted to bring Tim to South Dakota with them to live in Univille while they worked at the Warehouse, but the Regents would not allow their child to be in close proximity to the location. Children were often a magnet to artifacts and vice verse. There was a strict rule that no one under the age of 18 would be allowed in the Warehouse to prevent artifact shenanigans.

When Tim joins the Warehouse, he is actually the fifth generation of his family tree intertwined with the Warehouse. His father, Jack Drake, is the biological child of agents Jack Secord and Rebecca St. Clair. Rebecca's father, Timothy St. Clair was both an agent and supervisor (Artie's role) of the Warehouse, from 1920s-1940s. Timothy St. Clair's mother was Beatrice Kelly, who was the "caretaker" (Mrs. Frederic's role) of Warehouse 12 before it was decomissioned.

Unknown to everyone except Mrs. Frederic (and maybe Janet Drake back in the day), Alfred Pennyworth is actually one of the Regents. He is a Regent specifically with focus/expertise on the Gotham City region. He actually encouraged the creation of Bruce's "Trophy Hall" in the Batcave, so that he could subtly collect artifacts/potential artifacts from Batman's cases and then forward them to Jack and Janet to get them relocated to Warehouse 13. Only Janet would've known Alfred's identy as a Regent. Her security clearance as a CIA agent gave her privilege to have this knowledge.

Since Jack and Janet's deaths, the reason things have been crazier in Gotham is because the artifacts have been gathering and building up within the city, attaching themselves to people/areas/Rogues/heroes, and sometimes causing mischief.

Given the large number of metahumans/aliens/hybrids there are in DC, how do you think fusions with Steven would turn out?

Power based? Definitely Op depending who Steven fuses with and whether or not they're stable.

We already know that Steven can fuse with humans and gems alike, but what about aliens? I think it's a possibility, but the main factor is relationship as well.

All fusions with Steven are those he loved and cared about, so him fusing with someone off the bat would be rough. Especially if they have different motives and ideologies. Powers can also come into play depending on whether or not the person has them.

The Outlaws Series:

This is a concept for a limited Red Hood and the Outlaws spin-off series, which takes place in the same universe as my Batman Live Action series. This series will be a loose adaptation from the Red Hood rebirth storylines.

*The series takes places after the events of season 8 of the Batman Tv series.

Synopsis: Jason Todd as taken on the identity of the Red Hood and has wanted to distance himself from Gotham. He along side some other misunderstood individuals team up to stop evil in a more unique way.

Seeing if this was on streaming TV series the episode count would be anywhere from 8-13. For the first season will go with 8. Each episode is about 59 minutes, and all give a little summary for each episode.

Episode List:

1. Show off:

- Jason leaves Gotham on mission to find Black Mask,though this time he’s promised Alfred he won’t kill him and will do it by the books. Mostly.

- Artemis is on the hunt for a ancient relic that has been lost to the Amazons for centuries.

2. The Man of the Hour:

- Jason tracks down Black Mask to his hideout in Bludheaven and his given an opportunity to take down Black Mask.

- Artemis comes across a biker bar on the outskirts of Bludheaven and begins to see how fun mortals can be.

-Lex Luthor orders all his Super-X projects to be terminated.

3. Hunted:

- Black Mask drops Red Hood off on an Island off the coast of South American to bring him a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

- Artemis follows Jason to the island and feels that the weapon she wants is here. She follows him to the center of the island.

4. Bizarre:

-Artemis finds the ace of Ares and Jason meets the warrior Amazon for the first time.

-They uncover abandoned lab of Lex Luthor’s and find a clone of Superman.

5.Golden State:

-A angry and confused Bizzaro attacks Jason and Artemis and the two team up to keep him at bay.

-Meanwhile, Black Mask send a Black Ops team to neutralize everyone. They all awake in cells beneath Bludheaven.

-Black Mask reveals that he used Jason to get Bizzaro but after seeing how unless he is outside of his pod he plans to kill them all and go with his backup plans.

6.Black Sheep’s:

-While the group is free from the cells their still trapped in the bunker.

- While trying to get the gear back the trio open up about why they do what they do and how the got to be who they are.

-Biazzro learns more about who he was supposed to be and accepts that he’s different and that’s okay. Artemis and Jason learns a similar lesson from the clone.

7. Alliance:

- The trio escape the bunker and they track down Black Mask to his hideout in Bolivia.

- The trio begin to form a plan to take out the mobster’s army, and bypass his security systems to gain access to his mansion on the edge of the private island.

8.The Outlaws:

- After bringing Black Mask back to Gotham alive, he’s taken into custody. Jason speaks with Bruce and the two finally have some much needed closure.

- Artemis tells Jason and Bizzaro they make a good team. And learn of a mission in Russia that the three can do to work together. And the form the Outlaws.

I gotta ask, does alpha Trion have his own servant like a butler? Because it would be really cool for him to have his own Cogman (TF: Last knight) or Alfred Pennyworth ( Batman).

Considering that he's quite literally the Alfred Pennyworth of the team, I don't think he does BUT he has an AI system similar to JARVIS connected throughout the entire chateau. He was initially the only person who could access it/give it instructions, but he eventually signed off on OP and OP's council to also have access to it.

I imagine it's called Teletraan-1.
