Two months, three major creators of the qsmp are targeted by cancellations, and there is plenty of drama in between. So obviously suspicious and coincidental. And it happened so fast and so many people just dogpiled on the accused, i would have to say its almost organized. And that there is just so many jumping the gun, ready to tell these creators to kill themselves, you guys certainly have numbers, holy shit. Ha! I wonder if Forever actually finds and sues that first anti, that he'll be able to figure out who these people are because isnt this also just so conveniently timed? Each cancellation one after another. There is so much drama clouding the qsmp community that how could it not be schemed out at this point? I already predicted that with Forever's downfall and now with attempts I. Cellbit and Wilbur, Im starting to have an inclination that someone approached these girls.

With cellbit's ex it would be easy to deflame him, but i wonder how they got to this sherby whatever. Maybe cause he chose his career over her like i've heard in her video. But being exs is already hot opportunity for scorn of any kind, so its quite easy to jump on one or the other when one of these two accused the other. So really the motive could be anything at this point. anything she said or not said or those requests she asked of him and he never fulfilled. And to me she never delved too deeply in to what those requests were either. Which ok then. Fine, keep your secrets.

But biting is so fucking weird to accuse someone as abuse. Especially physical. Like just biting? That's all. Not that if its true that's not bad, but it would make sense that he was physically violent in any other way at least once. Like hitting, strangling, anything. But no, biting is the best she could come up with when it comes to physical. Mental and emotional abuse is a tricky in cause its not visible and it will always boil down to a he said she said type of shit but if there is no physical text or people witnessing their conversations then good luck with that.

But firstly, if she wants the whole world on her side then physical evidence should be so easy in this scenario. Like as easy as pie! If he bit her so badly every day where he tore skin, or whatever, then damn weren't they in a relationship??? Did they not take couple pictures? Wouldn't these pictures show the obviously horrible bitemarks? That is the first actual physical evidence that she could show that would be so easy to solidify her stance, but no, just hearsay. And nothing like texts either! Maybe a text to a friend complaining about how bad the bitemarks are. But no, nothing. No slideshow of evidence at all, just saying it happened, because words are all she needs to win the internet nowadays.

And then there are her complaints about him financially taking advantage of her, like girl, receipts! Show the receipts at least please, god damn it! Or again, these supposed texts to your girlfriends that he is taking financial advantage of you!!! Anything at all. The male accused is always expected to provide evidence that he did not abuse his ex but the girl isn't expected to show physical evidence that he did it, come on!!!

And I mean the biting in itself is so strange too. Cause like- how did it even start? She says he did it out of nowhere and my brain cant even wrap around that there was no pinpointing starting point. Said that it was a normal affection thing that his parents said was normal. If his family actually said that at all. And that he just randomly introduced it to her like ... Huh? Nothing she could accurately point to and say then, thats when it began. No sexy time or sex or whenever. Just he walked up to her in the kitchen one day and took a bite, huh? Like as far as im aware, to me (and a mutual of mine who pointed this out more accurately) their situation just sounds like a bdsm thing that went south. And why would HIM leaking past conversation be power over her? Wouldn't any mutual conversation or evidence they have over each other, negatively effect him in a bad light? Would it not be good if one of these parties showcased a lick of evidence to evidentally prove her right??? Who knows. There is probably some truth to what she said like he reiterated. About being a slob and that biting happened. But the invasiveness of the bites and the violence of it might not have been accurate. But he needs to absolutely admit it or she needs literally any physical evidence at all to give weight to her claims. But there is nothing because of course there isn't. Like in the past two months, creators have been cancelled or dropped from the qsmp one by one and damn, quackity must be super evil or one unlucky son of a bitch to have hired all these secretly maliscious people. My goodness gravy gracious, how impressive!

I mean come on, really. Like really. Have we not overheard this tune by now? Male creator gets cancelled cause of something to do with a woman, is rushed to answer and is (luckily for cellbit he had an essay on why he was innocent so people are fifty fifty on him at least) then dogpiled by the people waiting to rip his apology or response apart. And then it doesn't matter what they do, anything they do will be seen in a bad light and no one will take into consideration on their stance at all and turn on the male creator. Its crazy how the pattern keeps repeating itself and keeps being successful because everyone is afraid that they are supporting an abuser pedo whatever and have all this time.

It actually makes me sickly relieved that no matter how Forever managed his initial response, he was doomed from the start.

And i mean these younger streamers certainly think they're smart by immediately turning on Wilbur's obviously curated damage control lawyer made response, but ha! Aimsey can not and will never be a truly safe space until they acknowledge what Dream has been through and the role they played to help perpetuate it. I mention Dream the most because he's undeniably the center of all this, but neither George nor Sapnap are safe from this either

It frustrates me to no end because they're so incredibly preformative. Dream never outright says go support victims, but every month he quietly donates to a charity in support of victims

He doesn't try and claim he's an advocate for queer people, he just exists and fosters a community where you can be openly about that. He also designs delightfully subtle pride merch. He doesn't claim he's an advocate for mental health, but he occasionally mentions his own struggles as a teen and how he got through it and tells us it'll be okay even if it doesn't feel that way or he'll say yeah I'm medicated now and it helps

He isn't loud about any of this. He just quietly makes it known his thoughts and feelings in small ways that resonate deeply with his audience.

He's not an advocate, he's just someone who when accused of something decided to try and do something good while clearing his name. He's not an advocate, he's a queer person that exists. He's not an advocate, he's just a young adult who struggled in his younger years.

He's not an advocate but he's made his space a safe one regardless of who and what you are.

you’re right; if you want to foster a safe space for marginalized groups, you cannot pick and choose who is valid and who isn’t. we see this in so many different spaces and in so many different ways — the second that someone who’s part of a marginalized group isn’t liked anymore (usually because of others’ moral superiority complexes), they are completely alienated from their community at the hands of loud ‘advocates’.

one thing that really bothers me about all of this is that the main strength in advocacy is education. educating people is advocacy. and then these creators come forward claiming to be advocates who foster safe spaces, yet their only forms of ‘education’ or discussion are heated rants about other creators they don’t like, vagueing ongoing situations or drama, and shitting on creators like dream. and the worst part is how obvious it is that they haven’t even attempted to think critically about any of the hate they’re spreading. also, spreading hate is not advocacy! ever! spreading hate is not ‘supporting victims’! you’re inherently taking away from victims when you shift the focus onto someone to target. turning someone else into a victim isn’t supporting victims.

and about all the action dream has taken to support people in marginalized groups: there’s even a massive difference between those other creators & dream in terms of the messages they spread and the behaviours they encourage. dream has ALWAYS told his fans not to spread hate or fight people on his behalf. he has ALWAYS encouraged empathy, understanding, and compassion, and shown it himself even when the other party doesn’t necessarily deserve it and hasn’t shown him the same. he doesn’t go on hate-rants about other creators. he ALWAYS gives people the benefit of the doubt and tries to look at things from every possible perspective.

yes, talking is a huge part of advocacy. but an even bigger part is action. content creators make their agendas and intentions clear through their actions and behaviour, but their fans often get distracted by their words (i.e. “this is a safe space for queer people”). all of those examples you listed of ways dream has been a silent advocate makes his agenda clear. the same goes for creators like aimsey, who make empty promises and then do things that directly contradict the things they’re saying (claiming to support victims, yet completely ignoring all of the ways dream has been victimized).

advocacy is uncomfortable, period. being a large voice in a community and using that reach to support marginalized groups can shine a huge spotlight on creators. and once you see where a creator draws the line, where their support and ‘advocacy’ ends, their intentions and agendas become visible very quickly. and usually, the point where advocacy becomes too uncomfortable for a creator happens much sooner than people would expect. this is the issue with fans taking a creator’s words at face value; if those words aren’t backed up by any action, often times that means they’re untrue.

Hi I just woke up and I’m pissed as fuck-

This fandom needs to learn that content creators are people they are not fictional characters that you can just say what ever you want about.

I wake up today to see Aimsey had to tell people off not once but twice one after the other. They are a human being just like you and me with real feelings and real emotions. You cannot “head cannon” away anything because their life is their choice. That’s their brain not yours.

I’m just getting so sick and fucking tired of this fandom. When I heard Ranboo say a while back that if Vidcon hadn’t been rescheduled he would have never went because of the kind of fans that would be there I felt sick to my stomach. No one should have to live like that or worry about that sort of thing.

To this day I’m still so scared that one day I’ll open an updates account and have to hear about one of my streamers getting injured or worse because of some crazed fan.

You guys need to tone it down. Everyone jokes about parasocial relationships and I’m not gonna say I don’t have one cause that’s why I’m so worried but you guys are crossing a fine line between morality right now and you need to stop.

I'm just irritated by how utterly unaware everyone in this fandom is. Like I've watched fandoms filled with gamer boys understand how sexist they are better than anyone here and I don't understand what's making you think you're exempt from perpetuating misogyny. Do you think being AFAB makes you automatically safe from being an asshole to women? Do you think being attracted to women makes you exempt from being a misogynist? I promise you neither is true.

Internalized misogyny is an incredibly powerful force and it's pretty clear none of you have ever tried to incorporate feminism into your media analysis. Otherwise you wouldn't be calling Puffy a bitch for deciding not to be the server therapist or Aimsey a meddling asshole for getting involved in beeduo lore. Otherwise Niki wouldn't have had to completely distance herself from Wilbur so people would stop making her entire career about him.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the idea of a new generation instead of the older cast?

It just feels a little unfair that arcs that never had room to fully breathe (c!puffy's everything, the egg arc, etc) and newer ccs like michaelmcchill, boomer, aimsey, tina, cpk, and tina would have to abandon or at least heavily change their already existing characters.

Like it makes sense for characters like c!benchtrio, to focus on their children, but I don't think it's fair to everyone. Also their is precious little actual eggpire/badlands focused content in fanon, and I fear if we jumped straight into whole new characters it would obscure them even more

also it would feel more like a total reset, which is not the direction cc!dream said he would take, (despite twitter's insisting that these are the last days of the dsmp ever)

Idk I just, want to expand on existing characters instead of creating new ones, even though their is a chance that's the rout being taken. I suppose having "reincarnations" would solve some of these problems but I highly doubt it will actually work. So yeah, I'm excited for dsmp volume two, yeah I loved that c!Eret lore stream, but I don't like the takes that twitter took from it and are now running with. A wipe of memory would be closer to something that could actually work without having to erase whole characters, they could simply regain memories and who knows, maybe sort through some forgotten lore repressed memories.

I won't be upset if that is the rout the dsmp is taking, since it's their server and obviously the majority of people would have had to agree to make it happen, but yeah. Thats basically my thoughts on all of this twitter speculation. Dsmpblr doesn't seem to have as much posts on that though.

i saw someone else talk about how content creators who are also women, or queer, or trans, etc. are automatically completely trusted by their fans because of their identity. it’s like, “this creator is part of this marginalized group, so surely they must have nuanced and unbiased views because they’ve been the victim of bias before, so they know how harmful it is.” and essentially what that does is it gives those creators the leeway to never have to consider the biases they might hold. and that blind trust is even stronger when those creators make claims that they ‘support victims’ and ‘advocate’ and foster ‘safe spaces’, because objectively those are great things, but the issue with the trust being blind is that those creators aren’t held to any expectation to fulfill those promises. it becomes an “anything they say goes” situation, because being part of a marginalized group often means you’ve been a victim of something yourself (bias, discrimination, etc.) so the belief is that those creators are constantly, only acting out of unbiased, fair, and informed views. and that is simply not the case, the majority of the time. i mean, as humans, it’s extremely unlikely for someone to never act irrationally or hold some sort of bias.

and while that blind faith in those creators perpetuates their behaviour, it’s ultimately those creators’ responsibilities to be aware of that, and their biases. and you’d think they do that, considering the amount of time they spend shitting on creators they don’t like in the name of what they claim is ‘morally right’ and how they act all-knowing and informed, but again we circle back to their fans blindly putting their faith and trust into them and their words, so then the direct contradiction between their actions & words is either missed or ignored.

No, as far as I've seen, Dream hasn't responded to any of this.

What happened was a bunch of people were planning harassment/raids on Aimsey + other streamers as if somehow that's going to change anything. Aimsey posted this response,

Basically, she is a victim of grooming, and she wants to be left alone. That was what she was asking people for.

Naturally, motherfuckers with no care for actual human beings on twitter, isolated the one part where she said she's not allowed to speak on anything (aka, there's a lawsuit going on, and you shouldn't comment on ongoing legal action, and also Aimsey has literally no involvement or knowledge of any of this), and rather than respecting her privacy and leaving her the fuck alone, they made it into a conspiracy theory where somehow Dream has Aimsey under an NDA to prevent her from speaking.

Aimsey later made this post on her twitter,

Basically, tl:dr, people are being fucking awful to Aimsey because they want to ride their white knights and feel good about harassing people.

There's been no actual new information, it's the exact same thing we already knew, speculating and harassing content creators is fucking awful and people doing this can rot in hell.
