A/N: This ended up being a bit more than just flowers, but hopefully it suffices! If anyone else is interested here is the prompt post, I also took inspiration from this cute lil post by @grandwretch :)

Eddie always teased Steve about his romantic conquests. They frequently discussed best practices for him to woo women - including knowing their favorite color, their birthday, their favorite movie, etc. Eddie watched Steve date beautiful woman after beautiful woman, always putting in so much effort and getting so little back.

That's probably why Eddie started doing it.

"Should I get her the blue bracelet or the green one?" Steve would ask.

"I dunno man, what's her favorite color?"

"Blue. But her eyes are green."

"Get the blue. The two colors look good together anyway," Eddie answered as if he was somehow the person to ask about such things. He'd never really dated anyone, but he'd seen a lot of movies, and watched a lot of high school couples date each other.

"Thanks," Steve would say. He was always appreciative for the second opinion, even though the opinion was based on nothing.

"No problem," Eddie smiled. "Hey, what's your favorite color?"

Any time Steve asked for advice, Eddie would eventually turn it back on Steve. It was all part of his master plan, you see - he wanted to make Steve feel special on Valentine's Day. Not in a gay way, he told himself. Steve's my friend, it's not like that.

He tried to convince himself he was doing it platonically, or because it would be funny to see Steve all flustered, but deep down Eddie knew that it was far more than that.

But him and Steve were friends, and that's all they'd ever be, and he'd accepted that.

A week before Valentine's Day, there was a package on Steve's doorstep addressed to him. He wasn't expecting any mail, and the box was so haphazardly wrapped it was almost scary. Like, he was pretty sure he'd seen this exact set-up in a horror movie. Main character gets mysterious package that ends up ruining their life.

(It didn't end up ruining his life, but it sure as hell changed it)

Inside the box was a teddy bear - one of those real cutesie ones you find at a giftshop this time of year. Steve was confused, and wondered if it was even delivered to the right place - sure enough, there was a handwritten note that confirmed it. I call him Steve Bearington, it read. Steve smiled, but still had no idea who it was from. The girl that he'd gone on a few dates with could never have been responsible for the disastrous way the gift was wrapped. He shrugged. It must have been a secret admirer - he got those sometimes.

He told Eddie about it the next day, and Eddie pretended to act surprised. He didn't want to give his secret away, especially when he went so far as to ask some random person to write out the stupid note so that Steve wouldn't recognize his handwriting. He probably should have asked them to wrap it, too, but whatever. Steve was so happy about it, so Eddie continued with his plan.

Eddie learned that Steve liked sour candy over chocolate, so he got him some. Then he wrote him a poem - it wasn't, like, the greatest thing ever written, but Eddie did tend to have a way with words. He delivered the candy two days before Valentine's Day, and on the eve of the holiday he had one of his other friends discreetly stick the poem on Steve's front door and ding-dong-ditch while he and Eddie were hanging out, just to throw him off his game even more.

"Oh my god, they did it again," Steve said when he picked the poem from the door. "Who is this person?" Eddie appreciated that he said person, instead of woman.

"What does it say?" Eddie asked, biting his lip to keep from grinning. He watched as Steve read it to himself first, his brow furrowing.

"It's, uh," he said, folding it nicely and putting it in his pocket. "It's good."

Hell yeah it is, Eddie thought to himself.

Steve had a date on Valentine's Day - Eddie knew this, and it was to be expected anyway, since Steve almost always had a date on most days. He was leaving at 7, so Eddie showed up at 6.

Steve didn't have much more to do to get ready for the date - he was already having a good hair day, and he'd picked out an outfit that had done him well in the past. He just was still caught up on who wrote him that poem.

Nobody had written him a poem before, like ever. Steve hadn't ever attempted to write one for anyone else. He wasn't that good at analyzing them in English class, so he'd grown a bit tired of poetry as a whole.

But the one left on his front door sparked a new appreciation for it.

He was confused when the doorbell rang, because he wasn't expecting anybody. Then, he wondered if maybe, he'd find another poem out there.

Instead, he found Eddie. Well, actually, he found a person standing there with flowers covering their face, but the mane of curly brown hair surrounding the flowers gave him away.

They were daisies. Eddie was probably the only person in the world that knew Steve liked daisies, and it wasn't even something he'd explicitly said. He just knew he was drawn to them when he saw them, and he'd pointed them out a few times while he was with Eddie.

"Special Valentine's delivery for Harrington!" Eddie announced, letting himself in. Steve watched as he set them on the table, confident as always, a bright smile on his face. But Steve was mostly just confused.

"What...the hell?" Eddie's bravado faltered just a little bit.

"Hasn't anyone ever gotten you flowers before?" Eddie asked.

"No, but I've bought a lot of flowers before, and -"

"Tsk tsk tsk," Eddie interrupted. "My point exactly. You deserve flowers too, Steve."

"God, what's with all the gifts from people this week?" Steve whined, completely overwhelmed. "Between this and the secret admirer thing, I just -"

Steve's head was spinning, and he wasn't the most observant person, but he did have enough sense to notice the way Eddie winced at the mention of the secret admirer.

"Yeah, well," Eddie said, his tone softer than before. "Like I said, you deserve it."

There was a thick silence as Steve realized what was happening.

"Eddie..." he said, putting it all together. Eddie was the only one who would have known to get him any of that stuff. Steve openly told Eddie all kinds of things he never admitted to anyone else, because he didn't think Eddie was paying attention. He certainly didn't think Eddie had been filing it away to do this.

"I hope you have a good date tonight," Eddie said, suddenly feeling quite stupid about this whole thing. He turned to leave, but Steve stopped him.

"The poem - you wrote it?" Eddie nodded.

Steve thought about straight-up reciting it to Eddie in that moment, to prove to him just how much he liked it. He'd read it so many times it was burned into his brain, just as he wanted it to be.

Huh.

He wasn't expecting this from his best friend, but he was shocked at how weird it didn't feel. Finding out Eddie had been his secret admirer just made sense.

"Doesn't have to be a big deal," Eddie mumbled. "I just - I don't want this to - Like, I'm sorry if -"

"I gotta go cancel my plans with Deb," Steve said.

"What?"

"She'll live. Besides, it wouldn't be that cool of me to go out with someone when I'm thinking about someone else."

"What?" Eddie repeated. He really didn't expect to get this far. "What are you saying?"

Steve smiled - his brilliant, trademark smile that always made Eddie feel warm inside.

"Do you wanna be my Valentine, Munson?"

the third part of my 1000 followers gift is something very dear to my heart. growing up as a lil kid i loved hats--my ultimate cc-creation goal is to recreate the hot pink, sequined, absolute monstrosity of a cowgirl hat i received for my 4th birthday--so this is absolutely one of the sets that i have most enjoyed creating.

part 3 is a bunch of toddler accessories converted to ts2: 4 glasses, 3 hats, and a necklace! i have seen almost no accessories for toddlers out there--minus a single hat that's older than me and has transparency issues™--so i would (personally) say that this is filling a very important gap in the market 😊 now your toddlers can be just as stylish as your other sims!

the preview also features some new clothing that i made! yes, i made clothing! for toddlers! i am SO EXCITED!!

maybe eventually i will convert all of these to other ages, but for now, i liked the idea of some actually toddler-exclusive things 😅

I have a few birthday imagines that go round my head all the time. The first one being that reader has a 'normal' job, and Matty is in the band. It's coming up to his first birthday as a couple and she starts freaking out because what do you get someone who is able to afford anything he wants to buy. Anyway maybe in the end she makes him something? It would be all about the sentiment with Matty I think, so either something personal/homemade or maybe she plans a day for them doing all of his favourite things :)

Equally when it gets to readers birthday, Matty wants to buy her everything she's ever shown a slight interest in but he also doesn't want to overwhelm her, especially as she keeps reminding him not to go over the top. Maybe he remembers reader completing Charli's perfume one time so he sneakily asks her what fragrance it is then buys it for her. And I like to imagine he'd take her for a fancy meal out aswell, somewhere better than she's ever been before, maybe a fine dining restaurant.

my love @throughthepostmodernlens has a lovely fic quite similar to your first request with the day full of his fave things, but i'll discuss a lil bit too!

like you said, the man has enough money to get whatever he might want or need, so it's a total struggle to buy him a gift, especially because you're somewhat more financially limited than matty - he's hyper-aware of that though, and of the fact his taste is so diverse that planning a gift for him could be overwhelming, so he's very like "you don't need to get me anything, sweetheart, all i want and need is to spend the day with you". and that's cute, it really is, but you'll be damned if you're going to let your boyfriend's birthday go without a gift from you. and again like you said, i think matty would so appreciate sentiment over monetary value, being gifted something personal. i'm obsessed with the idea of you and matty having your own little book club, where you take turns to pick a book then read it independently and discuss it over some wine (and a joint, if that's your thing), and i think you'd maybe do gifts relating to that - you're always ranting at matty for dog-earing the pages of his books to mark his place, so maybe you get some bookmarks made up of your favourite pictures of the two of you and put them in his gift. matty's also the type of boyfriend who's just obsessed with hearing your thoughts at every second of every day (i fully believe he's the type to be like "so what are you thinking rn" at like 3am when you're trying to get to sleep lol), so you gift him your fully annotated copies of the books he's recommended thus far for your little book club (with little dedications to him at the start of each one), and that way he can spend hours reading the little scribbles verbatim from your thoughts about something he's personally recommended to you because he thought you'd like it :((( you put those in a gift bag with a lovely bottle of wine and a bunch of flowers and some chocolate (and maybe a little bag of weed too lmao), and you bake him a birthday cake, and head over to his house on the morning of april 8th. and matty's so happy to see you on his special day, and also slightly exasperated about the fact you got him a gift when he told you it was unnecessary - you shut him up with a kiss and tell him to open it. he's touched when he sees the homebaked cake, impressed when he sees the wine and chocolate, giggly at the weed, blushy at the flowers, and deeply overwhelmed and emotional at the literary gift. matty's a little confused at the books ("they're the ones i chose for us to read?") at first, until you tell him to open them. when he picks up the first one, one of the bookmarks falls out of the front cover, which sets him off already because "that picture of us is so cute. like look how pretty you are"" (which makes you blushy), and then when he flicks through the pages and sees your annotations he fully cries like "i'm getting little glimpses into your brain oh my god i fucking love this i love you i love the way your brain works" (then because she goes vibes actually). and that's just on the first book! matty gets so much more emotional with every book he picks up - he insists on doing this even though you tell him its the same idea for each - and you physically have to climb onto his lap and hold his hands to stop him just sitting and reading them for the whole day. but yeah - lots of teary kisses from matty, telling you this is the best gift he's ever gotten and he's so grateful and he just loves you so much and you're the most brilliant and beautiful and kindest person he knows, before he pulls himself together and you guys have the loveliest day.

and yeah, matty would be a bit of a nightmare on the lead-up to your birthday - he spoils you at the best of times (when you let him), simply because he's a simp (lol) and he loves you and wants to treat you well, but you make a point of sitting him down and looking him dead in the eye to tell him to keep the gifting lowkey. and it's hard for matty to not immediately pull out the credit card as soon as you offhandedly mention you like the look of something you saw advertised or walked past in a shop; you notice this about him quite quickly, so i think you'd drop subtle (and not-so subtle) hints about what you really wanted for a good while before your birthday. going with perfume, mentioned in the ask - while you're out for george's birthday, you really loudly compliment charli's perfume while matty's in earshot, like "i'm almost out of my favourite one, i'll need to buy more soon haha!", and matty hears and he's like "ooh i could get her some for her birthday!". and he makes a point of looking in your room to see which one you wear, but you have a couple on rotation and he has no idea which one you mean - matty's undeterred, though, because it means he has an excuse to come up and kiss your neck as you're getting ready for dates like "god, you smell amazing. what perfume is that?" and you're like fuck yeah he's got the hint "it's a dior one!" and tell him the name. on your birthday, you're surprised when matty hands you a dior-embossed envelope rather than a gift bag, and ready to yell at him when he says "look, sweetheart, i know this is a bit more money than you're probably cool with having spent on you, but i think it's something you'll love" - you open it to see an invitation to their selfridges boutique for a vip fragrance creation session, aka you getting to create your own personalised perfume. and while yeah you're utterly aghast at how much this is probably costing matty (he will not say), a) he looks so excited to be gifting you this opportunity, b) the thought of creating your own perfume with the brand you wear daily has you GIDDY, and c) it's actually a very thoughtful gift and you know fine well a single bottle of dior collection privee fragrances can last for a decade because they're so pure, meaning it's actually economical of you to do this, so you don't complain. instead, you give your boyfriend a big kiss and say "this is incredible. thank you so much. i love you!", and matty exhales and reciprocates the affection. and you both have a lot of fun at the dior boutique while you create your own scent, and also in matty's bedroom when you head back to his after dinner (which was in the literal fanciest place of all time, it was incredible), because the perfume you've come up with is so irresistible to matty that he actually cannot keep his hands off you at all (another bonus of that gift) lol <3

In that moment Bo really is being himself without the usual harsh tough guy act he puts up everytime.

He doesn't go out to do his boogeyman duty just because he wants to spend the day with you

Like not because he HAS to but because HE WANTS 

baking together? Baking together 

He keeps looking at you in a funny way 

Obviously he's not going to tell you because he's admiring you. He's just happy of being there with you and that you want to celebrate your bday with him 

Once you both had sit on the couch he will turned towards you and very casually take his mask off

It's the first time he has done it. It's his "present for you" 

Not in a narcissistic way but like, he wants you to see him. To see the real Michael, to know that this part of him is only yours and you're the only one who will ever be able to see it. 

10/10 would recommend having a Michael Myers over for your birthday

Reasons I Love SequinSmile-x, For Her Birthday

I occasionally can write a lil fic, but only when inspiration hits at exactly the right moment. So I have no gift fic for my bestie @sequinsmile-x. Instead, I offer a list of reasons I love her with my whole heart including several of my favourite fics of hers. (below the cut, because I got a lil carried away in her honour)

When Tomorrow Begins, the tragic and beautiful EPIC SAGA of one incredible AU with impeccable flashbacks. Vic had just posted chapter eight of the sequel, If Tomorrow Starts Without Me, when I discovered this series I think two years ago. It remains a favourite that I am always thinking about all the time, especially since its gutwrenching, tearjerking, perfect conclusion last year, and I have reread it at least twice.

Martha, the most perfect beautiful angel of a cat. I do not have a cat, but I have a collection of my friends’ cats that I consider my babies and I will one day meet Martha in person and officially give her all the pets she absolutely deserves.

Tequila Confessions, which I guess I accidentally gave some ideas for and then she kindly gifted it to me (the first of many, including two of three follow-ups to TC!). This fic never fails to make me laugh and cry from laughing and I cherish it for starting a long tradition of me being a doofus and Vic running with my doofusness to create magic. (Again, I apologize for Invasion. I was runnin’ my mouth, that’s on me.)

A shared love of Tim Hortons, despite us being located in different continents. I have had many text conversations with her while walking home from therapy with an iced cap or a french vanilla in my hands and Midnights playing in my ears. A truly comforting friend even though there are many thousands of miles between us. Also because she’s British she uses the beautiful U in favourite and colour and honour and it makes me SO HAPPY. (this entry is about Canada-UK relations lol)

Love You In The Dark, another iNcReDiBLe AU fic where our intrepid heroes find each other in 1963. I know she worked so hard to get the setting right, and it can be a challenge to nail the voice and actions of characters in an era so unlike their own, but she friggin’ nailed it with this one. And it was also completely terrorizing when chapters ended on horrific cliffhangers you absolute freak. Also the way she incorporates canon details in AU fics makes me weep every time!! AND when she makes little easter egg connections to her previous fics, omg. I love puzzles and consider myself to be the human embodiment of Nancy Drew, so these kind of connections and secrets thrill me to no end.

HAVE YOU SEEN HOW CREATIVE THIS GAL IS??????? Friggin. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve screamed at her for sending a header she’s designed for an upcoming fic. And the fake insta posts???? Like wtf. The way she captures their voices in FAKE SOCIAL MEDIA. Stop being so good at everything (please don’t stop you are my lifeblood).

The Way Home, which actually I can’t even speak about because I’m still upset about the last chapter, you evil little pillbug.

She is so fun and so funny and so kind and so giving to this little fandom! We have a rich collection of hotchniss reads thanks to an incredible amount of talented writers, but sorry this post is about Vic and she posts new chapters and one shots multiple times a week, totalling well over a million words on ao3, despite having like a job and friends and a life outside of the internet. I am in awe, always.

my plushes !! i thinkkk the first one i got was the 2nd one. his head is like that because he got lobotomised and had to get stitched back up ! ^_^ his head was still kinda funny looking before that though lol. the one i got after that is the squishmallow !! it was a birthday gift from my friend !! yayayaya it's my favourite of the bunch. very soft (๑•̀ㅁ•́ฅ✧ the b i g head one makes thwip sounds !!

oh and my bed covers !! i love them a lot :]

my figures (ignore the black blob pls >_<‶) + some extra !! that gwen helicopter turns into a motorcycle !! i got it for free :3 it's part of a set i think but i don't have it. the lil spidey is a rubber !! it was a mystery thing. i wanted to get one of the villains,, but i suppose nothing beats good old spidey >_^

i keep shocker and electro in the packaging because umm.. it's easier to store lol. and i would keep the packaging anyway it's nice :3 i still have the packaging for my pins lol and chameleon is forever imprisoned because he's made of lead i think. apparently it's fine but i'm an anxious person lol

i loveeee the feel of mayhem's hair.. and i just really like the pop. prowler's heads broken 😔 he was like that when i first got him. tried to fix him but it just broke again.. maybe it's meant to be  o(TωT)o 

..and everything else !! (+ stuff that i forgot to put in the others lol)

i wear that spider-man shirt for like everything lol !! with a specific pair of jeans. and spider-man socks :P AND OH WAIT I FORGOT TO PUT MY SPIDER-MAN VANS.. ill put those after this !! :3 there's 2 more pairs of socks but they're in the wash.

1. The thing that got you hooked on hockey

STORY TIME: i moved to canada, just outside of Hockey Capital (Toronto) when I was 9 years old (am 23 rn). so you'd think that i'd have been into hockey since i moved, right, considering that i was surrounded by leafs fans and like a good chunk of guys in my classes growing up were hockey boys?

DEAD WRONG.

all the guys ever cared about are the stats. so i wasn't too too interested in hockey. but i somehow absorb a lil too much info about hockey and the leafs in general but i never got /into/ the sport until my best friend lucy got into hockey like in february/march 2023. the irony is that lucy is from the uk and that's who got me into hockey: not any of the hockey boys I grew up having a crush on (bold of my family and friends to assume i got into hockey to impress a guy lol), not any of the hockey boys I went to high school with and was on good terms with. but my British friend (she’s a real one for it). And Tbf it’s because she talked more about the vibes first before she went into talking about the stats. im not a math person so the stats were like flying over my head. but she sends me videos of their interviews and game highlights and talks about them and i'm like... aight okay let me give this hockey thing a chance.

and here i am.

2. Your first ever fandom friend

definitely lucy (@ draisaitleons) like... she introduced me to the sport, so she's my first ever fandom friend on here.

3. The jersey you would most like to own

ngl i've been eyeing the hischier premier heritage jersey... either that or the black and white jersey one, though i'm leaning more towards the first one.

4. YOUR player (you only get ONE so choose wisely)

who else but nico hischier? tbh i can't even remember how i first heard about him. but i swear it must be all the gif sets i kept seeing when i started following more and more hockey blogs around april/may 2023? then i watched a few of his interviews and was endeared; thought he was cute and a good captain. but what REALLY sold me was when i found out that his birthday is on january 4, which is two days before mine. i was like "oh cool, a fellow capricorn" bc at that point, i'm pretty sure all the hockey players i keep seeing on my dash had birthdays in april and may, so to see a capricorn hockey player i was like... okay okay. so that's also the story behind my tag for him which is "my cap(tain) and fellow cap(ricorn) <3" if anyone was ever curious. then i read up on him; found out he was drafted first overall in 2017 and i just really liked his vibes as a captain and a player, and decided "yep, that's my guy".

5. A pairing that deserves more fic

ooh this is hard but ngl... kailer yamamoto x connor mcdavid. HEAR ME OUT: yes, i know yamo is no longer with the oilers (rip but he seems happier and less stressed out in seattle, so go have fun, king <3) but when i discovered this pairing when i was reading rpf, i was confused at first but i was VIBING! there was this fic i read on ao3 and it hasn't been updated but the premise was that kailer was a single dad, but no one on the team knows except for like one other person. and connor only finds out that kailer's got a kid when he goes into kailer's apartment to drag him to a team bonding. oof, can't wait to read more tbh. but the fic that really sold me on the pairing was connor having a crush on kailer, who had no idea connor was into men (he thought connor and lauren were dating, when they were really just besties) and i was HERE FOR IT.

tl;dr: kailer x connor will be my rarepair that needs more fics.

6. Your favourite on-ice moment

has to be when jack tackles aho back during the playoffs. this lived rent-free in my brain and i was like.... huh... maybe i should check out the new jersey devils if they got a guy who tackles people like this.

MOMMY IS MAD

sorry I was indisposed mentally yesterday. I have regained some mental stability so I am ready to talk about the show. buckle up I am about to go wild.

the episode opens where we left off, and as predicted Gorya remembers the reason why she can't be the official girlfriend, hello? Lita exists. our Lil Tiger forgot, though, which is equally funny and also concerning. did he not beg her to become his few episodes ago?boi is that amnesia setting in early? LOL. they have a cute moment of holding hands and Gorya admitting his puppy eyes are getting to her.

yeah. welcome to the club gurl. we have all been screaming! finally she is struggling to restrain herself. they stumble their way to the bed, which is kind of cute, when the BEST monologue occurs, Thyme uses the words virginity, foreplay and conception in one sentence and abuses the language to the point where he appears to be a sexual predator. lord I wish I knew Thai because I bet it was epic monologue that we missed out massive jokes in. nevertheless, Gorya wrestles him, breaks a vase all that jazz and auntie maid roots for Gorya in the Lita x Thyme showdown and crowns our queen Thyme's personal maid. applause ma'am well played.

things I loved:

the dynamic between auntie maid and Gorya, how Gorya was basically prepped for inhabiting the house and married life indirectly by learning the workings of the domestic side and how she was being indoctrinated to the household. the bridal vibes it gave me. trust me on this!

some symbolism:

the outfit Thyme wore to meet Lita's parents it reminded me of 'have your back covered' or when you say 'I've got your back' and Lita truly had his back in the fight. she was dressed in what appeared like a combat bulletproof vest. she was wearing armour, she was the one protecting him! amazing costume choice.

the maid plot she gets to see him in his natural habitat, he finally loses the air of mystery, is no longer a mythical enemy, friend or lost lover she never had. he becomes a real person and I think the maid arc sort of allows that to happen. she sees his life behind the scenes, develops trusts and understanding. Gorya also discovers the shirt her was wearing, and it is unwashed, he left it dirty, which is HUGE. imagine Thyme's state of mind when it happened. he was just humiliated in front of everyone, but despite that, he ket it, preserved her footprint, because it signified disruption, point of no return. a seismic shift. it's like he already knew her importance. if those little things don't seal the deal, then I don't know what else. her seeing him half undressed and all cute with his cat. all of those moments matter to her seeing him through a new lens and falling for him deeper, now that he has become worthy of her.

the fall / the fighting mirroring how Lita met Thyme and Gorya both of their interactions with Lita ended as they started and have thus complete a full orbit, circle whatever you call it.

things I am mad about:

1. no kiss between Gorya & Thyme *

2. whatever the fuck that kiss was between 2K

3. the MJ kfc ad... sigh

*as I have mentioned already, I know why it could not happen, I explained that in my preamble to this post.

now for the unhinged part...

so I was wondering why

they decided to lock them in the car,

why both MJ and Thyme are wearing chain bracelets,

why did Kavin carry Gorya to the car same way as he carried Gorya for Thyme's birthday.

Kavin was giving out kisses...

this show loves to mirror to show the development. it made sense to end Lita arc how it began, which tallies with carrying Gorya (thanks Kavin for being my favourite boi with MJ). also made sense to add Thyme as all tied up, because the restraint was constructed through Lita, with her gone, there is no reason to hold back. or is there?

well. I wondered about the car a lot. but like it got me thinking about how most of their previous reunions have happened through abductions, she was kidnaped twice and tied up to Thyme's house LOL, and it was his turn to be tied up. Also, in terms of privacy the car is literally the only option I guess.

plus it can signify beginning of a journey. like our ship finally sailing.

further to this...

I am still thinking about the bracelet MJ and Thyme shared and hmm. I am wondering. but I don't have anything sold, so I'll be back.

as for Kavin dispensing those kisses to customers. I think it demonstrates how easy it is for him to give physical kisses, but his heart - not so much.

overall. this episode had me hooked, I was on a cusp of tears and then cried when I saw Lita surrender. this was very much done out of not wanting to lose face. this was not a simple act of love, she plays the game until the end. she doesn't want to face Gorya, she sends her a video. I will fight you all on this, Lita decided to give-up Thyme, because she realised she lost him to Gorya and the only way she could release him was to be the one to break the engagement. everyone could see she was acting, putting on a show. she has earned Thyme's respect, and yes all the reasons she listed as the ones for not loving him, were the reasons why she loved him, but this version Thyme 2.0 was all credits to Gorya.

I am little disappointed how short the series are, as there is so much I would have loved to see them do, I believe they could even do the romance justice if they aired for more episodes.

people are saying things like 'oh I don't mind the lack of romance because there is so much symbolism'. bitch. this is romance drama. the metaphors are hallmark of quality of writing. we do not settle for crumbs in my household. we don't settle for GMMTV selling godamn cookies and necklaces.
