Kit: I don’t want to lie anymore.
Plo: Kit-
Tholme: Lie about what?
Kit: It’s Plo. I’ve been dating Plo.
Agen: Master Fisto’s not the only one!
Tholme: You’ve been dating Plo, too?
Agen: What?!
Agen: No—!
Agen: Voolvif’s always been my best pal, but now I love him.
Luminara: Wait a minute... Master Fisto and Master Koon...
Luminara: Masters Kolar and Monn?
Luminara: You mean... I’ve been keeping my relationship with Siri a secret this whole time for nothing?
Siri: Babe—
Tholme: I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!
Voolvif: Wait, you have a boyfriend, Master Tholme?
Tholme: Yeah...
Tholme: The Temple’s Battlemaster, Cin Drallig
Cin: [nods]
Kit: Now wait a damn second!
Kit: Is there anyone else who’s going to come out?
Mace:
Mace: ... I don’t like anyone.

would love to hear your thoughts on the other tcw or whichever voices 👀
also have to agree that the did cin dirty in the show, i think they used dbb actually ajsbhdbssj
ok ok ok ok
so Cin's actually voiced by Robin Atkin Downes, who actually is pretty close to Nick Gillard's actual voice and accent: See here [Downes in TCW] vs [Gillard in RotS Interview]
Now before, I mentioned like half a year ago that i personally like the voice for the Yellow Kyber in Galaxy's Edge's holocron see [here]— but apparently, this guy has a name and its Kolloma Ree and he's my son now, thanks.
ANYWAYS!!
Keeping with my trend of redesigning Cin Drallig, my first pick for a new voice for him would be Tony Leung because a.) it fits the redesign (because thats him!! or my attempts at baseing it off of him) and b.) well, it fits. The tone and the vibes are just the best.
I think the mid-low register range that Tony Leung has works best, so around that range for any other voice actors but I cant think of any more off the top of my head right now. Perhaps Ryōtarō Okiayu or Ray Chase who both voice Vlad III in Fate/Apocrypha and Grand Order (And Extella for Okiayu? I think)
I have so many words about using fucking James Arnold Taylor for fucking Plo Koon though. Beppi asked me about it before and i just AAAAAAAAA
I hate it. So much. I understand why they did it, but In my opinion, if you're going to have an important reoccouring character like Plo Koon dont use a repeat voice actor with a voice modifier and a slightly lower pitch.
I have a lot of options that I mentioned before but essentially my two top picks are literally any voice that Jouji Nakata has done though im very partial to his (English) Kotomine Kirei and King Hassan voices, and Kunihio Yasui's Li Shuwen Lancer. Crispen Freeman's English Dub of King Hassan and Alucard (who is also played by Nakata lmao) are also very good options. You can find more on my thoughts for Plo Koon [Here]
obviously, Temura Morrison is forever the voice of the Clones, mhm!
I did actually like Phil Lamar as Kit Fisto though! I thought it was very well done, I wouldn't change much there. Loved the accent fhdjhfjd
I do think its bullshit that Tholme's dead in TCW so I hand him Bill Butts' work as Kyosuke Hori
DBB is fine for Saesee Tiin, he did a good job there, but I still really adore TC Carson's work as him from the 03 series more. You really cannot beat the "It's time to get a new one" from that series.
For most of the TCW i actually dont mind, but also since so many of my favorites are not canon / dont speak at all its a bit tough. Like Tholme here are some takes for some of my others:
The Grand Inquisitor (Baby ver): Lucien Dodge as Lord El Melloi II (Obvs, Jason Isaacs did a fantastic job but Dodge sounds a bit younger than Isaacs and we do know that TCW was a good few years before Rebels. I very much do not like the Kenobi version though fhjdhfjd)
Sha Koon (English ver): Genevieve Simmons as Bort (I did her and Bultar Swan's JP Dub voices [here] same with Bene's !!)
Voolvif Monn: Kaji Tang as Kouen Ren
Oppo Rancisis: I think his voice was pretty OK in the 03 series, but I do like Motomu Kiyokawa's Walter C. Dornez from the original Hellsing Ultimate Sub
AND I THINK FILONI SHOULD HAND OVER EMBO TO SOMEONE ELSE THO HFJDHFJDHFD NO MORE FELONY COWBOY IN MY HOUSE
I also have OC voice claims/HCs if you're intersested lmao

FROM CANTINA PATRONS TO FULL-FLEDGED JEDI MASTERS -- WELCOME TO THE CLONE WARS, KIDS
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on Talz, Ithorian, and Shistavanen Jedi Masters, Foul Moudama, Roron Corobb, and Voolvif Monn, with all three created exclusively for Cartoon Network's 2003-05 animated series "STAR WARS: Clone Wars."
ORIGIN/CREATION: "Voolvif Monn was created as part of a Cartoon Network poll to determine which of three new Jedi, each based on characters seen in the cantina scene in "STAR WARS: Episode IV A New Hope," should be introduced in the "STAR WARS: Clone Wars" television series. Monn won the contest, and appeared in "Chapter 20," though the other two contestants, Foul Moudama and Roron Corobb, were later introduced anyway, and they both played larger and more important roles than Monn's."

98 for the Au but perhaps this time with some Voolvif? thanks my dude
98. “I’ve had enough.”
Summary: Voolvif gets called a lot of names, some he doesn’t like, but he tolerates it for his position. Besides, he can’t talk back anyways.
A/N: I hope you don’t mind the Muunilinst 10 who accompanied with him.
In the hanger bay of cruiser, Voolvif Monn trailed behind his General, Fordo Fett and the Muunilinst 10 squadron as they returned from their recent mission on the planet of Felucia. He was recently assigned As their previous Guard was on a...leave of absence. So the Republic thought it would best to have someone more of the squadrons specialities among them.
They were right after all, the group with the Jedi worked in flawless tandem compared to the previous pair up. Even with Voolvif’s difficulties of speaking Basic, he was fairly proficient in understanding and using sign language, as one of the group's members was nonverbal and they were great at accommodating. It was better than last battalion he was with.
“Ah, General Fett,” an Admiral greeted them, smiling. “I heard the ground team did well.”
“We are the best of the best, Admiral Javin.” His General responded coolly. He glanced back to him as he felt the smirk underneath the helmet. “We couldn’t have done it without him.”
The Admiral scowled at him with the usual distaste he received before he smiled at his General. Thatch shifted to his left, seemingly uncomfortable by something though Voolvif didn’t care much for it.
“Yes, his species are equipped with good tracking abilities,” Javin said airly, smiling. “They are nothing but mutts after all.”
Voolvif did not care for the insult, he was called worse before, this wasn’t new. Besides, it wasn’t like he could argue well enough, but the feeling of fury enveloped in the Force as Wire and Grounder glanced at each other while Thatch tightened his hands in a fist at his sides to his left. The General crossed his arms over his chest as he looked down at the Admiral who smiled back nervously.
“When someone is apart of my squad, they are just as valued we are,” he states, calmly. “If they are sentient, have thoughts or feelings, they are just as much of a person as you or me.”
“He can’t even speak a lick of Basic, sir,” Javin argued, gesturing towards him. “How can he consider sentient, if he can’t master a basic thing like speaking like the rest of us?”
“I am nonverbal, yet I am still valued, sir.” Thatched signed, with furious gestures.
Javin blinked at Thatch’s gestures as if he were merely playing a bad game of “charades” that he heard about once. The Admiral’s dumbfounded expression only added to the erupting storm within the Force.
“Well said, vod’ika,” General Fett congratulated his officer, as he glared back at the Admiral. “For your information, di’kut, my vod’ika was saying how he was valued in if he is nonverbal. In turn, it doesn’t matter if Guard Monn does not meet standard criteria around here, he is one of us and he is done with your discriminatory policies.” He glanced back him as all the others did as well. “Right, Voolvif?”
‘He can’t be serious, can he?’ Voolvif thought as he blinked in bewilderment. ‘I can’t even...I can’t get the words right.’ He frowned as he concentrated on figuring out what to say.
“I-I…” he stammered, as he glared at the Admiral, “h-have...h-had...en-enough...S-Sir…”
Thatch clapped loudly as Grounder gave a “whoop” to his right while he sensed the pride coming off his General. The Admiral stared dumbfounded with his mouth a gaping at their reaction.
“You can’t be ser—.” He argued.
“I believe that settles the argument, Admiral,” General Fett interrupted, smirked at him. “Now if you have nothing else to say, we shall be in the mess. Come vod’ikas.”
The rest made their way past the Admiral towards the exit while Voolvif stood there and watched them leave, instead they halted at the door glancing back at him with Thatch waving at him to follow. He smiles at the gesture as he walked towards his new...friends? Yes, they were his friends.

Voolvif: I haven’t been this happy since
Voolvif: Since that supermarket going out of business sale when I was searching for my favorite candy, and I found the last box all covered in dust at the back of the rack
Voolvif: And the expiration date was still good
Plo, nodding: I know the feeling, Master Monn.

Star Wars Alien Species - Shistavanen
More commonly known to the galactic populace by the nickname Wolfmen, Shistavanen come from Uvena Prime, one of several habitable planets in the Uvena System in The Outer Rim Territories. The Shistavanen were quick to colonize the remaining worlds of their system in an effort to keep outsiders from getting too involved in their affairs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As a species, the Shistavanen were isolationists. This was evident by the species colonizing all the unpopulated worlds in the Uvena system to prevent them from being settled by non-Shistavanen, their restrictive trade laws (which were unapologetic in how they favored their own kind over off-world traders), and from the fact that they did not often mix with other species. Most of their society used technology similar to the rest of the galaxy, though some parts of Uvena Prime used slightly less sophisticated technology.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A minority of Shistavanen were more outgoing, and traveled the galaxy's hyperlanes. Even these Shistavanen usually remained by themselves or with other Shistavanen. Due to their natural predatory instincts, Shistavanen commonly found employment as scouts, mercenaries and bounty hunters. Many other species reacted badly to Shistavanen, since their isolationist culture made them an unfamiliar sight, and their predatory appearance put other species on edge. Those who were albino, like Caet Shrovl, could face mistreatment for their difference.
During Emperor Palpatine's reign, despite the New Order's xenophobia towards non-Humans, Imperial agents regularly employed Shistavanen scouts to track down criminals, rebels and other persons of interest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In addition to natural evolution, the Shistavanen species was shaped by unknown genetic engineers. Like many lupine species, Shistavanen had pronounced muzzles, sharp claws, long pointed teeth, and pointed ears set on top of their heads. Shistavanen also possessed large glowing eyes, and could also run at high speeds for long periods without getting tired, alternately using two or four limbs. As predators, they possessed keen senses of hearing and smell, and excellent night vision. However this also made them sensitive to light, sound and smell of the damaging type. Some, such as Caet Shrovl, could be albino (although she believed her condition to be the result of an experiment the Empire did on her mother, rather than natural causes). A typical Shistavanen stands at 1.6 to 2 meters or 5.2 to 6.6 feet tall and weighs 80 kilograms or 176 pounds. Shistavanen age at the following stages: 1 - 9 Child 10 - 13 Young Adult 14 - 40 Adult 41 - 60 Middle Age 61 - 95 Old Examples of Names: Hovrak, Lak Sivrak, Riv Shiel, Severian, Voolvif Monn. Languages: Shistavanen read, speak, and write Shistavanen, which is composed mostly of barks and growls of varying volume and pitch.
