Dating sim where Noah’s the playable main character and the goal is to get with one of a wide variety of campers on the island (to his protest)

#again. I am. upset with change and have been upset with change for the past like. month #idk the friend I usually play 14 and do stuff with is hardly on and barely talks to me much anymore #which is just like. her being busy and having a significant other #but there’s a lot of stuff we started together in 14 that I’m now doing on my own #and man. man it’s fucking lonely af #I’m doing diadem alone. I’m doing anima relics on my own. I’m doing other relics on my own #dailies on my own which has gotten me much braver about playing healer and tank but man. man it’s fucking lonely #and I have other friends I can play with but it’s like when you have so many projects you’ve started with a friend only to be left #to do them on your own…it sucks #I’m not upset over her having personal stuff but I’m still missing the times we used to play together #it’s been like this for going on two or three months which isn’t a lot to really think about but still #it feels like a long time #it’s not that my love of 14 is fading it’s more that the act of playing alone when you have so much joint investment isn’t all that fun #owen talks #idk if it last through the summer then idk what I’m gonna do

#naturally the title is derived of Elizabeth Browning’s ‘how do I love thee? let me count the ways’#the info that the first few pages of this were missing - potentially a result of censorship by Wilfred’s brother Harold #leads many people to interpret this as one of Owens more explicitly gay poems #many editors reference this poem as one of Owens earlier works from around 1914 HOWEVER #others such as Jon Stallworthy believe at least the final draft of this poem to be dated closer to 1917 #which honestly makes sense to me as it doesn’t really come across like too much of his later or much earlier works so middle ground #feels right to me. but hey I’m not a historian #anyways I hope you enjoyed #it’s a very typical/traditional sonnet which honestly contributed so much to my personal interpretation of this as a queer poem #like come on #it’s right there! Okay, so Dreamcatcher—which previously hadn’t had an any gay further than Beaver’s lesbian solidarity boots—just got gay.

I’ve been ignoring Owen Underhill calling Henry “beautiful” for too long. I was at first just thinking it was only sarcasm—I’m too used to Stranger Things right now so every queercoded comment feels like a queerbait—but now he’s just doin’ it to do it. Two fucked up, Byrus covered, suicidal men in a sno-cat (King loves those, doesn’t he? The shining has one too. I’ve never seen a fucking sno-cat in my life) getting shot at by a character that in the movie even being played by Morgan Freeman couldn’t save.

I can’t help it, I ship them like no tomorrow motherfuckers. Ah, fuck me Freddy. Also, tell me The Beav isn’t bisexual. Sir ladder-laces his docs because he gets all the bitches and I love him and his Fonzie jacket. He’s the original motherfucker.

I was nervous the song How Do You Talk to a Star wouldn’t meet my expectations, because my expectations are so unbelievably high, because all the songs by Everybody’s Worried About Owen are my favorites. But it met my expectations!!! It is so pretty and cathartic and belt-worthy!! I can’t wait to learn all the lyrics.
