Eddie knows that he loves Buck but Eddie doesn't realize he's queer. Eddie had to grow up fast, got married early and never had the chance to explore or even consider his sexuality. He's always tried to force the feelings he thought he should have so he's alway been uncomfortable in his relationships. He's never gotten to start from a foundation of friendship and trust. He's never been with someone who makes him happy.

Buck knows he's queer but he doesn't realize that he's in love with Eddie. Buck never been taken care of him or put first in a relationship. He's always had to chase affection and settle for what he gets so he thinks love means putting in hard work. He doesn't know that love can feel safe and secure. He doesn't know that real love feels like home.

So, Eddie and Buck both know that they love each other but they don't understand that they are In Love with each other.

Hopefully, they're about to figure it out.

Kung Lao: -You tried a new recipe today, made with the fresh vegetables Kung Lao and Raiden picked up at dawn. -Saying you were nervous is a euphemism. You didn't want to fail, but even more to thrash the food your friend and boyfriend grew and picked up after so much effort. -You put the food on the table, useless to say to start the meal, Kung Lao cheeks were already full, and Raiden followed soon. -The judgment arrived soon, the burp coming from your partner mouth a telltale sign and a bad habit you still weren't able to correct. -"My love, the food was amazing, delicious!" Sleepy time Headcanons with Bi-han.

I think with all his training, Bi-han can run on very little sleep. On a regular day, he will go to bed at night, but while on a mission he has been known to stay awake for days on end.

If you are lucky enough to sleep in the same bed as him, you have to point out to Bi-han that you're cold. Arctika is freezing and Bi-han only sleeps with a light blanket on his bed. He forgets that normal people regulate their own temperature. He will buy more blankets/duvets for you and actually use the fireplace in his chambers.

For this same reason, Bi-han doesn't wear much to bed, if anything. Sleepwear is a waste of time when you have literally no need to keep warm.

Also due to his training, Bi-han has almost insane awareness of his surroundings at all times. This makes him a very light sleeper. In the first weeks of sharing a bed, every little move you make will wake him up. You turn over in your sleep. He's awake. You mumble in your sleep. He's awake. You get up to get a drink/go to the bathroom. He's awake and wants to know where you're going.

Bi-han is also super protective, even in the privacy of your bedchambers. He has to be the one nearest the door, so he is between you and any dangers. If you get up for a drink/the bathroom, he will stay awake until you are back in bed with him. If he thinks you are taking too long, he will get up and find you, just so he knows you're safe.

He likes sharing a bed with you. He finds he sleeps better with you beside him. He likes that the sheets smell like you, he likes the warmth that comes from your sleeping form, he likes holding you when you're both in bed. Bi-han may not admit it, but this is the best sleep he's ever had. Being in bed with you is one of the few places the grandmaster can truly relax.

Afterwards, they do a race. They don’t talk about it, but it’s there, between them still. Something settled between them. Cleo doesn’t know how to say it; they never know how to say things like this. Still, they need to, so they wait until Ren’s race is over and then hike through the jungle to go sit on top of Etho’s base and wait for him to show up as well.

He doesn’t. He’d gone to their base. Instead of just showing up for each other, they have to somewhat awkwardly coordinate over text which base to meet at. It forces everything to feel more real.

When they finally meet up, it’s in the shopping district, leaning against the button. A dangerous game in theory, but Cleo’s not fully convinced it can explode at this point, so.

Cleo breathes. They’re both quiet for a moment.

"Okay, so like, are we doing this?" Cleo says.

"I don’t really know, uh, what this is," Etho says, "but I… care about you. I think. So I think we’re doing that."

Cleo nods once. "You know I don’t fall in love, right? I’m not going to fall in love with you, I don’t do that. Might say something about loving you, but it’s not the same thing. Different sense of the word. It’s different, loving people and falling in love, got it? And I won’t do that second thing. I’m never going to do that second thing. I don’t--"

"Okay. I know," Etho says.

"Do you?" Cleo asks.

"I mean, not entirely, but I’m frankly surprised we’re having this conversation in the first place. I never expected you to be in love with me."

"But I’m not," Cleo says. "I’m attracted to you, and I love you as like, a companion and friend or whatever, but I’m not in love with you. I’m. Ugh. I wish I knew the right words. I just--I also don’t let go of things so if we’re doing this you’re going to have to get used to that real fast. Me not being in love with you but me not letting you go, both of those things."

"You're attracted to me? Aw, Cleo," Etho says.

"Don't be an ass," Cleo says.

"Sorry, sorry. It's just, geez, this is--a heavy conversation, huh?"

Cleo sighs. "We'll work on the deflection."

Etho rubs the back of his head and looks away. "Uh, in that case. If I'm maybe a little in love with you--"

"I can't--I can't reciprocate that, Etho," Cleo says, and their voice cracks as they do.

"I know," Etho says. "I just want to make sure it's okay, then."

"You can't help that, can you? Just like I can't help that I still sort of want to kill anyone who hurts you."

Etho seems to think about it for a while. Cleo resists the urge to fidget. She's a zombie. She shouldn't have the urge to fidget; she should be too dead for that. Besides, it's hardly like it's a secret she doesn't fall in love, exactly. It's just... it's only relevant sometimes. Feeling like, as she watches Etho and Bdubs dance around each other, she's on the outside looking in. She'd kill to hold their hands, to protect them, hell, even to kiss them--but that's different. She just can't summon the same emotion of... she doesn't know.

Martyn had almost gotten it, for all he didn't get anything else, in the end. Scott was never going to fall in love with her in the first place, for obvious reasons. Whatever attraction she and Pearl have going on, it's definitely not love.

But this...

"Okay," Etho says.

"That's it?" Cleo says.

"I mean, does it need to be anything else?" Etho says. "It's not like we can just... not do this. I think it's too late for that. Whatever 'this' is. I'm in love, and you aren't, but we'd both be pretty upset to lose this, right? So I'll... figure it out."

Cleo swallows. They feel small. "Will you? Do you understand?"

Etho shrugs. "I understand that it's you, and it's you that this happened with, not anyone else."

"Okay," Cleo says. "Okay."

"Is it okay if I kiss you? Just to try it, I mean. Not like, as a--this is a bad time, actually, I don't want to try to make any kissing we do romantic, I mean, you just told me this won't be romantic, I--"

"Yeah, sure, you can kiss me," Cleo says, and he leans in to kiss them. It's nice. A little soft for what they'd want, really, but nice. He leans back. He looks them in the eyes.

Cleo is baffled. "How? Kissing is just like, a thing we did? How does that have anything to do with any of the rest of this."

Etho laughs. "I definitely get it a little more now. What do you want to tell the others? I know they're definitely gossiping."

steve has always known that he was bi, he just didn't realize it wasn't a universal experience. he thought that was something that everyone felt, everyone found people attractive regardless of gender.

he has a crush on tommy h that results in steve being tommy's most faithful friend and lacky, steve wanting to stay by tommy's side even when tommy is mean to others and mean to him.

it's easy dating nancy, they form a picture perfect duo that meets everyone's expectations. nancy doesn't think it's strange when they watch grease and he calls danny zuko good-looking.

he's never met someone so open about liking people of their own gender until he met robin. he doesn't think it's weird that she has a crush on tammy thompson, just that it's strange that she's telling him. all of his non-girl crushes were kept a secret cause his parents expected him to marry a nice girl one day and it's not like he could marry a man in 1985.
