FAMILY MAN [O!Bakugo Katsuki x A!Male Reader]

Bakugo Katsuki made it to the #1 like he said. Nothing is holding him back - not his omega status, his anger issues, Deku, or you. He has everything he has always wanted. He’s the best.

Bakugo is busy running his own agency in Musutafu, while you’re off in the states making bank inventing high tech support items. Neither of you have spoken in 11 years. Which is fine - it’s fine, not like the greatest hero in Japan would waste his time thinking of you. Until he has to.

A quirk incident send Bakugo into the body of a version of himself that didn’t break your heart the day after high school graduation - that asked you to stay when you had the internship in America instead of pushing you away. Now stuck in the version of himself that he was terrified of becoming - a mated omega. He’s suddenly living behind a white picket fence with a husband and twin 5 year olds, for an unknown amount of time, and no way to get home.

A few have been asking for more Omega Bakugo. I recently watched “The Family Man” (2000) so the plot of this story if you want it would be heavily based on that plot but accommodated to the MHA universe.

Anyone interested in some fic recs? Here’s a few ones I recently read and am enjoying — I prefer long, slow burn stories heavy on characterization/character study with adult protagonists, so that’s what’s on the list! As always, check the ratings and mind the tags; almost all are M for themes/language and a few have E chapters. This list is not exhaustive, and doesn’t include many older works, so if you have q’s or want more recs, ask away!

Blood Orange by @flyingjemsaucer is my happy place right now (the author has other lovely EraserMight fics too). It’s a wonderful AU with orange farmer/vendor Toshinori and teacher Aizawa. This one is interesting and different because Toshinori is un-injured and Aizawa has his post-PLF disabilities. As a bonus, this fic also has great DadMight and Dadzawa, with David Shield and married Mic/Midnight as the best friends of the lead pair.

Closed Fist and Bleeding Heart by MoonlightAndDust (who I believe also wrote this AU twitfic). Just all around good, canon universe, angsty EraserMight.

EraserMic

Nine Lives by machiroads (also check out the author’s Naruhata Noir, which ties in to Vigilantes lore). This one is set during Aizawa’s canon post-war hospital stay and features a super fun Mirko, snarky little shithead [affectionate] Shinso, and good OCs. Honestly, the EraserMic romance is just one part of the story, and that’s fine because it’s full of other things.

And When It All Goes to Hell by @purekesseltrash (also check out the author’s Rooftop Necromancy series for a band AU). Both of these fics are examples of an author’s other hobbies/interests making the fic truly special. This one is a hockey AU and it’s great! Filled with lots of cool details, it cuts between the teenage rooftop trio and the adult Hizashi and Shouta reuniting after 10+ years to figure their shit out. Knowing some hockey stuff helps, but isn’t required at all — the drama is still there! And if you want to read about 1A students in this hockey AU, then you’re in luck because the author has that too (though I have yet to read it myself only because I prefer adult protagonists).

Naive Melody by @aconstantstateofbladerunner. I also like many of the author’s other works including For Kurou and Dekugate, but I think this one deserves more attention for its terrifying premise and action sequences. It keeps the core “hero society” concept from MHA and then goes and does its own thing. Also, I love the Talking Heads references — you KNOW how I get with my 80s new wave music!

Bones of You by @thoughtfulraven. A really sweet story set in the canon universe, with BFFs Inko and Mitsuki and a closer look at Toshinori’s mental state.

Nighteye/All Might

Happiness by @puddinginthemix made me like Nighteye, and that’s a feat. Set in the canon universe with canon events…I’ll just say this one made me tear up a bit.

DadMight and gen All Might

Living Well by @krisingtons is super sweet. If you want some DadMight fluff, this is where you go. (I also happen to really like the Quirk Development Theories series, especially the OC that pairs off with Inko in one of the later stories because they all work together so well to support Izuku).

Learning to Trust by @siriusfan13, a longtime favorite. Not only is this a fantastic look at All Might in the year before he agreed to work at UA, but the author links some amazing DadMight/genMight fic recs at the end of (most) chapters.

Kacchako & also Hawks (WhaaAAaa????)

Toy Soldiers by AJLenoire is a bit of a wild card on this list, but it’s really well-written. The multiple subplots within the Kacchako plot and the Hawks/OC plot are all fun, and the Hawks/OC relationship is a blast.

I invented a small AU in which Tohru falls into the MHA universe by accident and desesperatly wants to go home to see her loved ones again. During a panic attack moment, Izuku meets her and befriends her. And of course, he helps her to go home ✨

You know, I can’t help but wonder if any of the Bakustans would actually like Bakugo if they’d met a person like him in real life.

Because I’ve met a couple of “Bakugos”. I grew up in one of the most affluent counties in my country- so you can imagine there were more than a couple spoiled rich kids. But the “Bakugos” stood out from apart the rest. You could tell they were never properly held accountable for anything in their entire life. So they believed they had a right to do anything. To anyone. At any time. Especially if that person didn’t fit in for some reason. And there always was this…rage simmering underneath. Some hid it under charm and charisma, some wore it with pride. But it was always there. It was as if they felt that, despite having access to some of the best opportunities this world could provide, the universe still owed them something they weren’t getting. As if their sense of entitlement had grown so big and all-consuming that it had become a colossal black hole inside them, one that could never be filled.

Sound familiar?

And, let me tell you something: that behavior is NOT funny or endearing if you see it up close. At best it’s obnoxious and frustrating. At worse it’s downright terrifying.

I DO see how that attitude might appeal to some young teens. I remember being that age. You’re hormones have just kicked into full gear. You’re angry all the time, sometimes for no apparent reason. Every semi-bad thing feels like a world-ending catastrophe, or a grave injustice. Now, MOST teens move past this phase, mature, and learn to manage their emotions. But, until then, seeing Bakugo rage at people and not get consequences for it, and even seeing him be rewarded by the universe in spite of it….I imagine that would feel validating.

My fear is that some teens will take away from MHA that it’s okay to treat people like shit if you’re unhappy for some reason. And that’s just…no. Whether you’re angry or sad or jealous or insecure or any emotion in between, you are still accountable for your actions. You are still required to treat people decently.

So when it comes to asshole/evil characters and their Stans, there’s two groups. The first one knows that if such a person existed in real life, they’d hate them. Due to the fictional nature of their favorite character, they’re able to enjoy their behavior because it’s fiction. I’m not going to focus on them.

Sadly, I do believe that he would have a lot of followers/Stans. Andrew Tate, Sneako, Keemstar, and the like have platforms built on their toxic manners. People find them appealing, whether it’s due to entertainment or because they genuinely believe the bullshit these guys spread. Katsuki’s got “talent” and people might see Katsuki’s lack of manners as inspirational.

Been passively coming up with an AU where Izuku's got a fusion quirk since I'm back in my MHA era (And coz I never fully left my Steven Universe era lol) and I've kinda got the basics for it?

Like, I know that a lot of Izuku's fusions would follow SU's design trend - extra limbs, extra eyes, etc, and that they'd have abilities derived from their components' quirks (i.e. Izuku and Ochako's fusion can increase gravity, Izuku, Bakugou, and Mina's could shoot nitroglycerin and ignite it, etc.). I'm not completely sure if he'd have OFA in this? I've associated it with him for so long that it feels weird not to give it to him. Maybe he gets it later? idk

I've got some basic ideas for some of the fusions themselves figured out, too. His fusion with Eri would be a savant with Rewind and OFA but be terrified to experiment with their own quirk. Fusions with Bakugou are usually only pulled out when shit hits the fan, while Izuku and Ochako will fuse just for the fun of it. The one time Izuku and Mei fused ended with their fusion being perma-banned from the support labs.

Friends in the MHA RPC/anyone interested in MHA RP, I have created a server. (Again. Yes. Stop booing me.) Its a multi-universe set up, so its a rp server that contains more than one verse to write in which are all pretty detailed because I am insane. A quick summary of universes contained in the server under the cut !! You should def like this post / DM me if you want an invite and I'll invite you if your muse is open. 🩵

Aside from the obvious canon universe, the AUs in the server currently are : Zombie Apocalypse ! Set before the Paranormal Liberation War, this verse explores an AU where the power struggle between heroes and villains is obliterated by a new and far more terrifying threat to society and human civilization as we know it. Inspired by horror survival series such as Resident Evil, Sweet Home, and Left4dead, this is My Hero Academia meets the Zombie Apocalypse in full form.

Future / Rehab verse ! This is a heavily canon based but AU verse set three years into the future of the current manga. AFO has been defeated, Tomura Shigaraki, Himiko Toga, Dabi and Spinner have all been apprehended, along with a majority of the other villains who participated in the war. They are now participating in a specialized rehabilitation program at the Tamashiro Psychiatric Facility.

Ouroboros / Ultra Rumble ! This verse takes heavy inspiration from sources such as Squid Game, Battle Royale, and MHA's own Ultra Rumble game as the name suggests. Much like the inspo sources, all of our favorite MHA characters have been ported into a strange pocket dimension to interact and sometimes battle for the entertainment of unknown overseers.

Other AUs I might also add include my Hero AU, Fantasy AU and the Furry ass Mafia AU but yeah, SO FAR, beside canon verse, those are the three in the server ATM. >:3

I know these were probably randomized but I feel so bad for Manga- he’s against Stars and Stripe right off the bat-

Therefore he gets the earliest propaganda of all time! He is my fixation blorbo and he is getting the full kablamo of my rambling!

So, fun fact, Manga Fukidashi was most likely meant as a joke character. What is he actually? ABSOLUTELY FUCKING BUSTED IN THE MHA UNIVERSE

The Japanese language has WAY more onomatopoeia than English, and considering some nonsense like ‘big’ is among them, you can imagine how out of hand that can get. The example I used canonically made a wall SO FUCKING BIG a zoom out was needed to the point you couldn’t see anyone anymore! From ONE word!

And taking even English onomatopoeia into consideration, the basic ‘boom’ and ‘zap’ can cause effects that, though certainly weaker, mean Bakugo and Kaminari may not even need to show up at times. Or even Iida, depending on how something like ‘zoom’ would work- the versatility is off the charts.

And what’s his downside? A sore throat. That’s it. Sure, I know how those are and they’re fucking horrendous, and the backlash kicking in after only a few uses can definitely be annoying, but good god if this kid discovers throat numbing spray the whole League may as well run in fear.

Legit his only weakness overall is an apparent over reliance on his quirk to do the things needed, leaving him basically open for up close combat- and if you’ve seen his images, you’d know he’s built like a twig.

But the thing is- a bit of training in that department and he reaches a whole new level of terrifying. Not only can he also silently relay information with his head if needed, it even means that SHINSO would be reduced to the scarf- especially since ‘shush’ is an onomatopoeia and that definitely silences shit.

In essence, this kid is like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree of MHA characters- doesn’t look impressive, and gets overlooked by everyone, but goddammit he can do what’s needed and very well at that

This reminded me of one post that said hypothetically Manga could kill AFO with a "kung pow penis" and that imagery still makes me laugh.

Say hello to the king of self-depreciation. Literally, nearly every time you see him in the game, he is putting himself down (man really doesn't know just how handsome he is, even Vil Schoenheit himself has said that Idia is, in fact, a very handsome man). He may talk down on himself, but there is no way he is about to let you do the same to yourself. In his mind, you are quite literally UR+ tier and he will constantly remind you of that.

Now, chances are you met Ortho first before Idia, given that Idia is one hell of a hermit and usually only attends class via his magical floating tablet. Ortho ended up approaching you first as soon as he heard you mention the latest anime that you're into, and wouldn't you know? His brother is currently obsessing over the same anime!

Thus, you find yourself being taken to Ignihyde via a very excitable robot child. Now, Idia did have a full panic attack the moment his brother arrived with a literal person ( a real life, air breathing person), into his room. But lets just say that the moment you saw the same anime he was currently watching, he noticed the same look he gets when he obsesses over a new anime or game. Now you have yourself a permanent spot in his room.

Idia is tall, being just under 6'1'' with the potential to grow a little more (most people don't finish growing until around 20-23, at least from what I have learned), so there are times he will crack some short jokes. It's how you can tell that he has warmed up to you, likes you, and much more. Hardly anyone sees that side of him. And you're dating him, so it all works out.

He absolutely loves that you write. Now, the man has money, finances aren't an issue to him, now he gets to spend it on you. Whatever it is that you need for your writing endeavors, just let him know and he will have it all for you by the end of the day.

Overall, you managed to make yourself a nice little home inside the shut-in housewardens heart and he doesn't plan on evicting you anytime soon. He absolutely loves you and while he may be introverted and terrified of people at times, he will always protect you in his own way.

Eijiro Kirishima

You were first approached by him after everyone had moved into their dorms and had gotten done with a rather long day of training. Everyone was basically just kinda mingling with one another and he took notice of how you were just kinda off on your own. And that wouldn't do! Meaning he was quick to approach you, striking up a conversation quite easily and the two of you quite literally talked for hours.

After taking notice that basically everyone was gone and it was just the two of you still out there, he did the manly thing and asked if he could walk you to your dorm, and of course, you agreed. Once there, you both exchanged numbers and bid each other goodnight.

Thus, a beautiful relationship was formed between the both of you.

He takes notice of how much you love to read, and more importantly, what you love to read. There are a few times where he will come to class with a book that he had found that he thought that you might be interested in, and he does this quite often. After all, what kind of man doesn't provide for the woman that he loves?

While he knows that you hold yourself in high regard, he doesn't really like the self-depreciating jokes. A couple of times, Eijiro came to you about the concerns that he had and he was just glad that you at least did have high regards of yourself, but it hurts him to hear you say these things.

Music buddy! I swear this man must have a really good music taste just by looking at him! This means that the both of you will just have all out little concerts in either of your dorm rooms. It's one of his favorite ways to spend time with you.

Overall, Eijiro is a dedicated partner and is always there to protect you should the moment ever arise. He loves to see the smile on your face when he manages to find a new book for you and then hears you talk about it. He wouldn't trade that for anything in the world.

He was going to do it. Kirishima was going to get up, go to Bakugou’s room, and ask him to tickle him. He really was! He was…as soon as he could find the courage to get his butt out of his desk chair.

He stared at the closed door of his own room, leg bouncing nervously. Bakugou had told him he’d do it anytime he asked, and Kiri believed him. But that was the embarrassing part – actually asking. Like, straightforwardly asking to be turned into a puddle of laughter. But he wanted it so bad, and he knew his explosive friend would keep his promise. He also knew Bakugou preferred being asked rather than provoked, if his competition with Deku a while back had proven anything. (He’d feel bad for Midoriya if his friend hadn’t loved it so much.)

Kirishima got to his feet, but that’s as far as he managed. He hesitated again, pulled out his phone, considered sending a text instead. It would be easier that way, right? If Bakugou wasn’t interested, being rejected in a message instead of in person would suck less, wouldn’t it?

He tapped out a message, erased it. Tried again, erased it again. Then he shoved his phone in his pocket and strode to the door. Asking over text wasn’t manly. He could do it in person. It was just tickling! And if all else failed, he could always ask Todoroki.

It wouldn’t be quite the same, but still.

Two minutes later he was standing in front of Bakugou’s door, hesitating again. I can do this, he told himself firmly. If he can come to all of us and ask for it, I can go to him and ask. He told me I could. Just do it!

He knocked. He thought about running away.

He didn’t.

Bakugou yanked open the door, looking irritated, but his usual scowl softened when he saw the redhead. “What do you want, spiky hair?”

Kirishima found himself hesitating a third time.

The blonde seemed to sense something was up. He stepped back and gestured for Kiri to come in, which he did, albeit slowly. Once the door was closed again, Bakugou asked in a gentler voice, “What’s up? You look nervous.”

“I am,” Kiri admitted, leaning against the wall and letting out a huge sigh. He glanced over, saw his best friend’s expectant stare, and covered his eyes with one hand. “I came to ask you to tickle me but if you’re busy or not in the mood I totally get it, it can just be whenever, I don’t want to impose—”

Bakugou grabbed his ribs and squeezed once, effectively silencing him and making him shoot his arms down instinctively, making actual eye contact this time. Kiri’s eyes widened. His friend was wearing a wicked smirk that immediately made him both terrified and elated.

“You want me to tickle you?” Bakugou asked in a low, teasing voice. Kiri swallowed. “Well? I asked you a question, Eijiro.”

Oh, crap. First names? He was screwed already.

“I…y-yeah, I…I want you to tickle me,” he stammered.

“Then you’d better get your butt to the bed before I take you down right here against this wall.”

What the heck?! Kiri pushed past him and scurried to the bed, if nothing else just to get away from that intense gaze for a few seconds. He sat down and looked back at the blonde, who stopped halfway in following him, seeming to consider something.

“What…what are you doing?” Kirishima asked.

Bakugou glanced at his closet, then back at him. “How bad do you want me to tickle you? Like…do you want to be able to fight me, or would you rather be totally out of control?”

“Um…” Kiri hesitated yet again. He shifted slightly. “I mean…I guess it doesn’t matter? Why?”

Silently, Bakugou opened his closet and rifled in his bottom drawer for something. He paused before looking over at his friend and holding up a pair of shiny, silver handcuffs.

Kiri’s eyes widened. “Bakugou?”

“It’s not what you think, all right?” the blonde snapped, looking both frustrated and flustered at once. “I do this to Deku when he’s got it bad sometimes, too, and I thought it was easier than using neckties all the time. But if you don’t want—”

“I do,” Kirishima said quickly, then followed it up with, “Wait, you tie Midoriya up when you tickle him?”

“Only when he wants me to totally wreck him, like you do right now.” Bakugou got to his feet. “Are you sure? Once you’re in these you’re at my mercy until you use the safe word. And I’m not feeling particularly merciful today.”

Kiri shuddered, an excitement he hadn’t known was possible settling over him. “Yeah, I’m sure.”

Seeming more at ease and in his element now, Bakugou shot him another evil smile. “Then lay down and put your arms up so I can get those pesky hands out of my way.”

Moments later the cool metal of the cuffs were around each of his wrists, and Kiri gave an experimental tug at them, a thrill coursing through him when he realized he really wasn’t going anywhere, and now Bakugou was straddling his waist, cracking his knuckles.

“Use the safe word when you want me to stop for real, okay?” the blonde said seriously, beginning to drag his nails along his friend’s ribs.

Kiri squeaked and bit his lip to contain his smile. “I will.”

“Good.”

The redhead squealed with giggles a second later, squirming uselessly beneath the light tickles his friend was giving him as a warm-up. He’d had his arms pinned above him before, but not bound like they were now. This was so much different. Here it was just the two of them, but he was even more helpless to stop what was about to happen than usual. It was terrifying, but he couldn’t wait to really get going with this session. He’d wanted this so bad. He was craving it even more now that it had started.

“Getting excited?” Bakugou teased, as if sensing his shift in mood. He pushed Kiri’s shirt up just enough to get better access to his ribs and slowly began to increase his tickling pressure. “We’ll see how long that lasts when I have you begging me to stop.”

“I d-dohohohohon’t beheheheg easily,” Kiri reminded him, daring to be bold even in this position. “You’ll hahahahahahave to wohohohork for it.”

“I think you’re forgetting what it’s like to be the sole recipient of my tickle torture.”

“AIIEEE!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA WAIT!! OKAY, OKAHAHAHAHAY, NOT SO FAHAHAHAST!! WAIT!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAKUGOU!!”

“What? You said you wanted me to tickle you, and you even let me tie you up. You must be in a really bad mood, huh?” Bakugou teased easily, enjoying the panicked laughter he was getting now that he was digging into his friend’s ribs with everything he had. “Tickle, tickle, tickle~”

“GOD NOHOHOHOHO DON’T DOHOHOHOHO THAT!! BAKUGOU!!”

“Let’s see…” The blonde gradually slowed his tickling to a lighter pace, allowing his friend a moment to breathe. “You know what? I’m going to work my way up.” Bakugou scooted himself back so he was straddling Kiri’s ankles instead, reaching behind him to scratch at his bare soles with a smug smile on his lips.

“Ah! Nohohohohoho!” Kiri burst into giggles again, tugging at his restraints. Somehow it made it tickle even worse, not being able to roll around or kick or anything at all. “Ehehehehehehehehehe!”

“I’m going to start here,” Bakugou told him matter-of-factly, wiggling his fingers into the spaces between the redhead’s toes, making him squeal. “And I’m going to sloooowly work my way up to your knees and thighs.” A quick scratching over his arches. “Then I’ll tickle your hips, and your sides, and your stomach. Your pudge is looking extra ticklish today.”

Kiri whined, wishing for all the world that he could cover up his blushing face, giggling crazily all the while from the light, lazy tickling on his feet. “Dohohohon’t tahahahalk about my puhuhudge!”

“I’ll talk about whatever I dang well please,” Bakugou growled, digging into his toes again, drawing yet another screech and subsequent laughter from his friend. “And you’ll do nothing to stop me because you can’t. Isn’t that what you wanted?”

Bakugou was being extra mean with his teasing today, it seemed. Kirishima had no idea why or where it had come from, but he wasn’t complaining. Not at all. In fact, it only made him more anxious to get moving. Get laughing. Screaming for mercy as he always ended up doing when his best friend was the one doing the tickling.

“Then I’m going to go up to your armpits and your neck, and that ridiculously sensitive collarbone of yours.”

“Shuhuhuhut up! I cahahahahan’t help – AIEEE!!”

Bakugou’s gaze had darkened, but his smirk told Kiri he was enjoying this just as much as he was. “Tell me to shut up again and see what happens.”

Kiri kept his mouth shut, save for the increasingly hysterical giggles.

“Then, just when you think you can’t handle any more, I’m going to tickle your ribs again. One by one, veeeery slowly, until you’re begging so hard you don’t even know what you’re begging for anymore.”

“Plehehehehease, Bakugou!”

“Yes, just like that.”

“Plehehehease, just dohohohoho it! Tihihihihickle me like you mehehehehean it, already!”

Bakugou quirked a brow and lunged for his ribs without warning, making Kiri scream in surprise and hysterics when his most ticklish spot was assaulted with his atomic friend’s unique brand of tickle torture. “You know what? You’re making me change my mind about how I want to take you down. That’s rude, considering you’re the one who came to me, asking me to take away all your control~”

“AHAHAHAHAHA I’M SOHOHOHOHOHORRY!! PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE!! NOT THERE!! NOT YEHEHEHEHEHET!!”

Bakugou chuckled, grinned, settled himself back in for a very rib-focused session, enjoying the way Kiri’s face lit up with terror and delight at the same time, laughter filling the room, making him feel lighter just by being present for it. “Hmm…I think I’ll stay here for a little while after all, since you want it so bad. Does that sound good to you?”

Kirishima was already laughing so hard he couldn’t reply, but he wouldn’t have denied it if he could. He was so, so glad he’d found the courage to ask for it this time.

His best friend chuckled again, making him feel twice as sensitive, making him laugh even louder.

“I’ll take that as a yes.”

Can we talk about how fucking terrifying hawks is? I feel like we don’t talk enough about how fucking terrifying hawks is. I would say his quirk is probably in the top 5 most powerful on MHA, it’s so versatile, he is basically telekinetic, telepathic, has the ability to fly and in a pinch can turn his entire set of wings into knives plus he was trained for like his whole life specifically to be deadly. It’s so insane to me how most people in universe are like “oh pretty boy surfer dude! So friendly, just a cute little bimbo” but then we get these flashes of pure calculating menace where we’re like…. Oh shit… this dude doesn’t miss a thing, he is ALWAYS playing the game.

That’s not to say that the entire easy going Shtick is fake, like I DO believe hawks has good intentions and genuinely wants to save people and i think in another world he might be capable of being a bit less artificial but in this world he is absolutely fucking lethal!

Like I am so glad the manga acknowledges this side of him because in this panel it’s very clear who is the monster and who is the victim, hawks is literally stabbing a man while he begs and pleads for his life. And not just any man but someone he cares about, a FRIEND, he literally says “I couldn’t allow mere sentiment to trip me up” that is so chilling, and although I think the following is a mistake on the part of the Manga and they better show this in the future at some point, afterward, he really doesn’t show very much regret. It’s just…. Painful how this man who wants to save everyone, whose ultimate goal is a peaceful world and who had a big enough heart to bond with someone he labels “villain” ultimately was able to ignore ALL OF THAT, to “dispose of a threat” fucking bone chilling

Have you ever heard of the song by Poor Man’s Poison – “Hells comin’ with me” ?

Long story short, the little story that the lyrics tell is of an old (possibly western gunslinger era) town and through its details that it’s a religious town, and a rich one, but all the money is taken from the poor. The preacher, a hypocrite who also secretly performs black magic. The townspeople, whether they agree with the practices or not they’re just sheep who want the profits. And don’t care for differing g opinions. The focal character however, away in the very first verse promises that they will be coming back and “Hell’s comin’ with me.”

The other verses, the chorus, the bridge? Detail how when he comes back this messed up little place is put in the ground as it’s burnt down, the preacher hanged, and the leftover Townsfolk not yet dead and sent to hell fall to their knees begging this random drifter no one can recognize the face, or gun of, to let them live.

This terrifying individual who did these horrific things to this, just as if not more,( if not, maybe even less) horrifying people and town, the drifter is the one who they sent away all that time ago, and he came back to pay their sins in full on a mission of his own for the greater good even if it is also a bit selfish.

I wanted to ask you, how would you think of some story wherein that type of a character, whose so easily could’ve been turned towards this direction of divine retribution, and doing the right thing and such a messed up antihero vigilante gunslinger type way,

like, oh, maybe … Izuku Midoriya?

how do you think a story or an MHA world? Where THIS is his story INSTEAD would play out? Especially if he somehow gained a ghost rider like ability to be the undead vengeance filled being that you can’t put down because he is in the right, his powers are fueled by your sins, or just a so damn skilled and determined being like Guts, or Arthur Morgan and John Marston, or just any other person where their durability ain’t a power, they’re just too angry stubborn and frighteningly driven to die and stay dead.

You brought this on yourself because you betrayed him, and sent him down on his path to begin with, you all are the ones who are the true monsters, villains, criminals demons, and devils, and this “righteous hand of God, and the devil that you forgot”, he’s here to make sure you pay your debts of debauchery depravity and death to the world and people you hurt for greed ego money status power wealth and status?

Because so many people can fit these roles, his entire school system, the world he lives in, the heroes only in it for glory, and improve their use rate, they can be townsfolk. The preacher who is such a hypocrite, that nothing he knew, or did or ruled, could save him from his fate, could be Aizawa, could be Bakugo, could even be the directionless and just pettiness fueled afo or (early) shigaraki. The poor that was stolen from, and drag through the dirt, the mutant quirk types, the quirkless, the ones with “weak quirks” or “villainous quirks”

Hell Athena Hero’s Association or the meta-liberation front even could take the place of the townsfolk, just wanted your opinion, because you are one of the few mines in this fandom that the majority of us can trust with these honest opinion on giving this much detail for an idea, can you send me any time to many of us before you love when we come to you with these alternate universe ideas and these long questions.

I actually really like this. I’ve said this before but the best anti-hero, anti-villain, and villain Izuku stories are the ones that twist Izuku’s character and morals. Here, Izuku still has a sense of justice, he wants to remove the evil in the world. However, compared to his far more noble goal in canon, here’s an Izuku who’s only focused on removing evil and corruption, as to him, they bought this upon themselves. Allowing the Hero Society to flourish, punishing those who question the validity of said values, these caused Izuku and many others to be ostracized and now he’s back to remove said values.

Reminds me of a fic I’ve written where Izuku becomes a villain who inflicts tragedy on heroes and upcoming heroes as a means to challenge them. To him, doing so will help weed out the ones uncut to be heroes from the ones who will only use said experiences to get stronger and fuel their desire to be a hero. He commits many atrocities, but to him, the lives of the people he’s taken will be worth it as MORE lives will be saved in the future. He genuinely wants to help people, but at the same time he’s got a twisted understanding of HOW to help someone.

In conclusion I think the concept is a very interesting and cool one, one that challenges and twists Izuku’s character, which imo are the best anti-hero and villain fics.

Omg I had a very convoluted and detailed dream that there was a very modern and stylish remake of cyborg 009 and it was more in the style of like. Well. MHA or Akudama Drive; very unique and stylized characters, extremely overdesigned outfits, etc. Each character had a massively absurd character design that just completely ignored canon and all previous animes. I was literally even at one point writing up my first thoughts into a post in this server which included things like 'I like how fun and adventurous it is but I kind of miss some of the dark parts/I'm glad some of the designs that haven't aged particularly well since 2002 are gone' idk. 003 was now some kind of light blue bipedal/anthro cat robot with a spherical robot head with a cartoony painted-on, static face and expression. She had a tail that was hollow and could hold liquid?? It had marks on it to indicate how much it was holding. I thought abt how they must have used dall-e 2 to help w the design?

Unfortunately I can't remember much about any other designs at this point but at one point I was on some wiki and I saw 007's design and I can only describe his design as a sharp and tall and terrifying green- and black-themed Mr. Freeze with large X motifs on parts of his design, like his chest, and he was wearing all form-fitting black otherwise ? I wish I remembered more. I was so bummed out when I woke up and realized it was a dream. SNMNDKNSNDMSN

Like what did Jet look like in this universe....... I can't possibly fucking imagine. Or 001? God I am so sad this is not real I've never been so disappointed something isn't real after waking up Aaahhhhhhhhhh

I could design them myself but I cannot match how fucking wacky the designs were in this dream. Like, idk... 002 the swarthy crab fisherman with a mechanical claw and a death wish towards a particularly large and angry lobster that killed his daughter? Idk. Like ???????

This doesn't even like necessarily make me itchy to watch 2002 Cyborg 009 because it was just so fucking weird and had utterly nothing to do with any previous works, i just knew who was who from Vibes. I know that if a series WAS made in this style though, people would haaaaaate it. This is such an old old beloved series I cannot fathom people taking a liking to it if it just veered in such a weird direction.

Chat I am currently doing the challenge I call Making The Most Fucked Up MHA OC Possible.

So far I've got a terrifying ghost quirk person who is processing their dead body (they're a hero)

And a bunch of vague concepts like a healing villain or a villain with a naturally "good" quirk and along my zombie skinwalker hero a hero with a naturally "evil" quirk.

Also playing with concepts like where the line between vigilante and villain is and having two quirks that activate each other repeatedly forever. Invisible quirks and honestly how terrible the job of baby delivery must be in that world must be.

Yeah this universe has too much potential the high school drama og plot is sad to watch
