Gallstones are formed in the gallbladder which is found just under the liver. Bile that is secreted by the liver is collected in the gallbladder to be released into the small intestine for digestion. When bile solidifies it forms crystals called gallstones. As long as they stay in the gallbladder, they may not cause any symptom, but when they start moving from the gallbladder through the bile duct to the intestine, then they cause a lot of pain.
Medicines to dissolve gallstones, surgery to remove the gallbladder and endoscopic procedures to remove gallstones are the treatment options available.

Lean & Green Rice “Pea”laf *Vegan* Yields 2 servings. Each serving packs 230 calories, 32 grams of Carbohydrate & only 7 grams of Fat. Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes Ingredients: -2 cups of Water -1 cup of Basmati Rice -2 tbsp Vegetable Broth -½ cup of Peas -1 cup of Spinach -½ cup of Sliced Bella Mushroom -2 cloves of Garlic -¼ Yellow Onion diced -1 tsp of Salt -1 tsp of Pepper -1 tsp of Garlic Powder -1 tbsp of Light Olive Oil -1 tbsp of Dried Basil -1 tbsp of Oregano Steps: -Rinse & dry all vegetables as well as your rice. This will remove extra starch present on rice before cooking. -In a saucepan combine water & a drizzle of light olive oil. Bring to a boil. -Throw rice in your saucepan & allow to boil for about 5 minutes. Stir frequently. -Reduce heat to a simmer & cover with a lid. Cook for another 20 minutes or so, adding in your vegetable broth periodically. -Smash your garlic cloves & mince. -In a medium sized skillet with a drizzle of oil, saute sliced mushrooms & diced onion for about 5 minutes over medium-high heat. -Once mushrooms & diced onion are done, add them to the skillet with your rice, throw in peas, spinach, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, dried basil & garlic. Additionally, these extra ingredients are not as “pure or natural” as everything seems to think 🤔. • • • 2️⃣HONEY/AGAVE.. 🍯. Ahh this is quite a health fad. These “healthier” alternatives of sugar, aren’t actually that different at all! 🍪 They still contain lots of fructose, they spike your insulin lvls just as much & the “trace minerals” are practically nonexistent unless you consume them in a vast quantity. • • • 3️⃣EVAPORATED CANE JUICE 🥤. Quite a fancy name for plain sugar. All sugar is extracted from the sugar cane plant, the only difference is, white sugar is stripped from all TRACES of molasses. It’s basically just crystallized sucrose made to sound natural 🌱. • • • 4️⃣ARTIFICIAL FOOD DYES 🌈.. “Yellow 5”, “blue 1”... These are hidden in numerous of goodies. Used to give colour to products.
