Batfam's reacting to you falling asleep on Tim

Author's note: Full fanfics will have to wait, but I will be doing these types of things for a bit. Feel free to send in asks! I thought this post was cute and got my creative bug working again. I also wanted to avoid spamming Gator's inbox cause' I already sent in one or two.

Dick Grayson: The proudest brother alive! Look at Timbo finding love! Would definitely put a blanket over you both, and the group chat with his friend would be spammed with pictures and messages of how cute you guys are, how excited he is about Tim opening himself more, Trying to figure out what your couple name should be. Goes to leave but turns back around to make sure Tim's progress is saved and see if the laptop needs to be charged. Then leaves the room, to let you guys cuddle and sleep in peace, telling the rest of the batfam to keep quiet and not disturb you two.

Jason Todd: Found out what was up when Dick was telling everyone not to disturb you love birds. The man was just reading his book in the library, and he got his Flamboyant older brother wagging his finger in his face. Keep quiet, like bitch, your the loudest out of all of us. Decides to weigh the options of maybe writing something on Tim's face in washable marker, to ruffle dick's feathers a little. However, upon entering the room, he sees how content you both are and doesn't have the heart to mess with you. He can't help but let a soft smile creep up while leaving, happy to see Tim finally taking a break from fight or flight. Damian Wayne: No! Of course, he's not doing an FBI-level background check on you because he's worried about his brother! It's essential to know the information of people close to their work as heroes! No, he's not nervous about possible changes in the family's route; that concern is for babies! 'Alferd, could you ensure they drink water and a snack when they wake. Drake probably hasn't touched a glass of water in days'.

Alfred Pennyworth: Would 100%, if told to or not, bring you both snacks and water bottles for when you both wake up; however, I also feel like he would also bring you headache meds. He's had to raise Bruce and insomniac Wayne and has been around the block more than once. Could you check on both laptops to see if they need to be charged? Quite happy to see that Tim has found someone that makes him happy, as well as that Tim's brothers are pretty excited. However, he is a little concerned that Damian may be unable to handle another change within the routine again so soon. It'll just be something that must be talked through with time.

Bruce Wayne: He'll probably be hyperfocused on doing research and stuck in his own thoughts. Cause he's over the moon that Tim's found someone. However, he needs to figure out how to follow the parental rules for same-sex relationships. He wants to keep the rules fair between his children, but like..??? So many questions, not enough answers yet. You can just get ready for awkward but supportive conversations to come.

Clark and Kon react to Autistic Reader.

So, you can 100% blame me staying awake at 02:40 because I can't stop cackling like a crow being waterboarded on @gatorbites-imagines and his/it's/xyrs kyrtontian's purring at a frequency that humans can't hear headcanon. I'm autistic, and I hear shit on the other side of the building, sometimes on a different floor.

Cw: Swearing, idk else, unhinged/ blunt replies ( R giving).

__Clark Kent__

Clark having his super hearing, I feeling like he hears distracting noises constantly but feels like he can't say anything about them.

So when he hears a frustrated voice say,' Can we please fix that god damn janitor's closet door on the floor under us!? It squeaks all day'.

Clark is shooketh, I don't put it past him thinking you are possibly kryptonian. Like he did with Shazam. Probably try to phish out info to see, but bad at being subtle.

'Why do you keep bringing up Superman??', 'Oh.. Well I mean, he is this City's hero'. You probably read his inquiring wrong, and believe he thinks your SuperMan.

'The reason has to why my hearing is above average, is because my autism makes me more sensitive to sounds. I promise you, I'm not Superman. I could not live comfortably with such a jarring unpredictable schedule.' , you word vomited, pitching the bridge of your nose.

'Oh.. uh I'm sorry if I made you upset', the more exhausted tone reminded him of Bruce a lot, when he bugged him too much. 'Its fine, just so many people make jokes about it. It can get old fast.'

Basically the mf would be balanced between panic and false hope of finding a relative he could keep on earth.

__Kon-el Kent__

I feel like he's got so use to no one being able to hear his purring, he doesn't care to suppress them. At times when he's to lazy to do this hair himself, he gets one of his friends to do it. Not worried.

He just enjoys the comforting feeling and begins to pur away. For the sake of it, let's say Tim was the victim of doing Kon's hair.

Tim would be the first to notice you walking around the common room, looking like you are going insane looking for something. Kon not really caring has he doesn't see it has important.

'Did you lose something?', Tim questioned, pausing shortly from combing Kon's hair. 'There is a sound and I don't know where it's coming from', you kept walking around the room listening.

Tim would try to reassure that you'll get use to the sounds of building, the more you stay. At some point, you walk over to where they were on the couch, and figured out it's coming from kon. 'The sound, it's coming from you!?'.

Kon would be so confused and Tim would be too, for different reasons. Tim doesn't hear it, Kon is not sure if you're referring to him purring or not.

'Huh?', 'You, it's coming from you. It sounds like a rumble or some shit'. Well fuck, he can't really play that off. 'You're not suppose to be able to hear it..', his tone resembling that of Oz media reading a cursed post.

'Hear what, exactly?', Tim feeling more like a third wheel in the conversation and wanting to be in loop. 'Kryptonian's have an organ that can make a sound, the best way I can describe it in human experience is a cat pur. But, we can only hear it.', Kon tries to summarize.

Tim would be the one that's extra, and suggest a DNA analysis. 'Tim I assure you, my mom used the excuse of popping me out of her, far too much for me of too be found in a capsule.', you then explained the autistic symptoms you have. Sensitivity to sounds being one of them.

This dose not stop Kon from jokingly referring to you has his sibling from now on. Which would confuse everyone that wasn't there to hear this interaction. Kon being Kon, he wouldn't explain it anyone, because he feels like that would ruin the joke.

Ha ha ha, it's 04:30 and I get up at 05:00. This is gonna fun.. but at least my dad feeds my caffeine addiction by giving me offerings of energy drinks, in hopes to encourage my autistic brain to be okay with doing the dishes, and other medial tasks.

You want to know why Inigo Montoya remains such an iconic and beloved character even 35 years after the Princess Bride came out?

It's because he's one of the few characters in fiction who has a story where he has dedicated his life to revenge, his whole motivation is about getting revenge....and he gets it! and then he isn't empty or despairing! he doesn't regret it! he's totally satisfied!

because so many stories about revenge or rage are about characters "seeing the futility of their actions" or learning "their desire for revenge has only made them the monsters they hated" FUCK THAT.

Inigo Montoya kills the man who kills his father, is allowed to live in the narrative after and be happy about it and it is so satisfying. it's fantastic. it's iconic.

let more characters rage against the world, bring it down with bloodied hands, and let them be FUCKING RIGHT about it. Let them celebrate their success with sharp grins, and let them live happy, full lives where they always remain proud/fulfilled for what they've done

Kaz Brekker is such an anomaly. Is he a well-written, well-rounded character? Yes. Did he learn his lesson in the end? No. Did he become either better or worse? No. Did he grow as a person? You could say that. Do we have even a remote understanding what he will do next? Absolutely not.

All of the actors for the Six of Crows storyline are remarkably well cast, but gonna focus on Kit Young for a second because that dude has something so fucking special. There's a subversive joy in his choices as Jesper that just kills me. Like at the end of season one with the line: "Tell me you have a plan. I don't care if it's a lie."

Reading that in your head without having seen his interpretation, the instinct is to go a little ragged, sardonic, exasperated - something to tell us that the character does actually care but just fucking can't deal with this shit right now. But Kit puts a pleading inflection on the line, his Jesper truly wants to be lied to, bringing it around to comedic desperation.

And it's not just with this line delivery, those facial expression reactions he does elevates every scene he's in. My favorite underrated moment is when he gives Wylan a confident wink and thumbs up when they're both getting the shit beat out of them. The juxtaposition of Jesper indicating "this is going exactly according to plan" when it's clearly not brings so much fun to the scene.

But the scene I keep coming back to over and over that I'm blown away by is under the carriage, when Jesper remembers Wylan. I could see so many actors taking those line directions and putting some angst behind them. We know Jesper was hurt when Wylan left in the morning, we know he blocked it out because his ego was bruised and he didn't want to face the pain of it. It would have made perfect sense for the line reading to have an edge to it, any indication of a grudge.

But Kit's face is lit up with nothing but fondness and joy as he remembers. And obviously actors aren't islands, the writers and directors have big influence - and they clearly are in line with a joy-filled Jesper, since the first thing they have Jesper say isn't "and you left me," it's "and you brought me stroopwaffles."

Jesper isn't a clown, but he's allowed to be one when he wants to be, and Kit leans into choosing joy with such effervescence. It only serves to make the dramatic scenes that much more heart wrenching. I hope we get a lot more Crows on screen, but whatever happens I'm excited to follow Kit's career, what a talented dude.

I don’t think you’re getting it guys, there are two types of found family: the organized type, with “I chose you and I choose us’, healing together, and nurturing vibes, and the chaotic type, which mainly falls into the “good luck getting rid of me now” category like bringing home stray cats does.

Sometimes it’s just one, other times it’s both combined in some way. And both options are so fucking amazing.

Affection: How affectionate are they? How do they show it?

Dick is very effective, especially when it comes to physical affection. He will always find a way to touch you, even in public. Holding hands, an arm around your waist or shoulders. Even when you sit down, he'll have a knee touch yours. Loves giving you quick pecks every time he sees you.

Best Friend: What are they like as best friends? How would you become best friends?

Dick is the type of guy that likes to make sure everyone feels welcome to places. You were probably new to Gotham or the team, and I began conversing with you about doing a check-in. 100% older brother therapist instincts at first.

Cuddles: Do they like to cuddle? How would they?

Even before you two start dating, they'll be cuddling. Dick thrives on physical closeness to the people he's close to. Whether hugging his friends or cuddling plies with his brothers while watching movies. He loves cuddling.

Domestic: Do they want to settle down? How good are they at cooking and cleaning?

Dick is good at cooking; he's good, not great. He needs to have a recipe to follow with clear, in-depth instructions. As well as you to help him keep track of the tasks to do in order. His ADHD is not kind to him when he tries to cook by himself; 20 minutes to bake in the oven? Cool, he can watch a YouTube video or scroll on social media. Need to remember the food in the oven.

He'd like to settle down, but he feels he never could. It would last a week until his old team is on a mission or his brothers are on a case, and he's putting on the suit again to help.

Ending: If they had to break up? How would they?

He tries not to let it show, but he has a crippling level of self-doubt. If he broke up with you, it was probably during one of his depression spirals, feeling like he is just not good enough to be with you. Feeling like he is just holding you back or you could do better.

He'll become closed off, trying to push you away. Then, after a while, if you try to confront him or you pry, his self-doubt will overflow and say you two are breaking up. You can try to help him get through it and reassure him. However, if he's not ready for the conversation, in that mental state, he'll try to push you away more, even though he wants the exact opposite.

Fiance: How do they feel about commitment? How long before they pop “the question”?

Dick is exceptionally loving and very passionate; however, he has extreme commitment issues, mostly built on his own self-doubt and crippling anxiety. As the oldest child, it's tough for him to voice his problems and stress. No matter how much he tries, his brain locks that in his throat. Wanting to focus on other people's pain and issues instead. He probably won't propose unless you ask him where he sees your two relationships going, making him think about it. He loves you very much, but it's not that; he just doesn't trust himself not to hurt you. Even if it wasn't even his fault that you got hurt in the first place.

Gentle: How gentle are they? Both physically and Emotionally?

Dick is rough physically but lovingly. He won't go easy on you during training, but you will notice he tackles and dodges more with you. Using more defensive fighting instead of defensive tactics. Outside of that, he is incredibly gentle emotionally. He is gentle but is rough as much as you are comfortable with. Being sarcastic or a shoulder to cry on.

Hugs: Do they like hugs? What are their hugs like?

If you two are dating, be ready to mind your own business and be lifted into the air by a tight hug, as if his hugs are linked to the love he has for you. He absolutely loves hugs and hugging you. He loves the hugs where you both face each other and his arms around your midback. Not just because of the closeness of it, but he also attacks you with kisses and compliments, and you can't escape.

I love you: How fast do they say the L-word?

Physical affection, he can do no problem, but verbalizing it is much more challenging. He's trained his brain to know the best thing to say in any situation, so he fears saying it and not meaning it. Worried that he only said it cause that's what you wanted him to say. He probably said it out loud while looking back at the memory you two shared first, then paused for a second, and then was like, ' Oh?... OH, I LOVE THEM!'.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? What would they do?

He would 100% get jealous; for the most part, his jealousy was the strongest before you two started dating. But he's the silent boiler when it comes to jealousy, and his eyes give me away every time. Wally absolutely used this to his advantage to get Dick to confess to you or make a move. During parties or hangouts, Wally would put his arm around your neck or get close to you while you two were talking with a shit-eating grin as he saw Dick Death staring harder than Batman has ever done.

Kissing: What are their kisses like? Where do they like to be kissed/ kiss you?

For regular kissing, he loves to do a slow, long kiss, taking his time to enjoy the presence of your lips. However, he also loves giving you quick pecks on the check every time he sees you during the day. Will melt into the floor as a gushy mess when you provide him with forehead kisses for greeting as you two are working or on patrol.

Little ones: How are they around kids?

He loves his brothers! But does he have kids of his own? Hell no. He has a crisis spiral almost every week. How could he care for someone who relies on him for support and care? He loves caring for his brothers anyway, often feeling more like a parent to them than a sibling. He's been woken up by his brothers breaking into his apartment or knocking on his door in the middle of the night plenty of times. He's already living the dad experience.

Morning: How are they during the mornings?

He likes to tell people he's a morning person, but he takes every chance he gets to oversleep. Did he patrol until 2 a.m. with no scheduled work for his day job? Sweet, he'll just sleep for 3 hours and then do some stuff around the house. *proceeds to sleep for 14 hours, only waking up cause Tim called having a panic attack *

Nights: How are they spent with them?

Dick, like most of the Batfam, can spend the whole night awake. Even going weeks without sleep if needed. So if he has to work on a case, you two like to cuddle on the couch during those nights after eating dinner, where you fall asleep buried into him as he works.

When not working on a case, you patrol if you're already asleep. He'll try to be as quiet as possible to not wake you while changing and getting ready for bed. Most of the time, he accidentally wakes you up when he gets to bed. To which you trap him into your arms sleepily, as if to say, no, you're leaving again now. It's cuddle time. Even the bathroom waits until the morning.

Open: When would they start revealing things about themselves?

You already know the most significant part if you are a hero. If you are just a civilian, then he'll try to hide his heroism as long as possible until he thinks it best to tell you. Either way, he'll try and be an open book when it comes to his relationship history, only opening up about his sexual assault and rape trauma WAY later into your twos relationship unless it starts to cause problems within your relationship with him.

Patience: How easily angered are they?

Dick is very patient, but he has a big temper, especially if he sees you doing a habit that is dangerous or self-harming in nature. He'll bring it up delicately to discuss it with you. But if you brush him off about the concerns, it will get into a heated argument, where he'll yell and cry about who he can't stand to see you do not to yourself, and stop pretending it's not happening.

Quizzes: Do they remember everything or nothing about you?

The answer is yesn't. He'll remember your side comment about your favorite flower, but if he doesn't set a reminder in his calendar for your birthday, he can't remember it to say his life. But he knows the time you take your meds! And he loves to shake them gently like a music shaker when walking up to you when you haven't taken them yet.

Remember: What is their favorite memory in the relationship?

His favorite memory in the relationship is at the end of your 2nd date; it began to rain when it wasn't supposed to. So, while you two were waiting for Alferd to pick you up, you huddled under his jacket to stay dry and had your first kiss.

Security: How protective are they? How would you protect each other?

Dick knows you can handle yourself; does that mean he won't protect you? Of course not! You two are attached at the hip during patrols and missions. Be ready to have a brooding hen by your bedside if you get hurt during one. If you're a civilian, he'll be more protective of you. Following you on top of roofs as you walk the streets at night until you are safe at home. Will even ask his brothers to do it if he can't.

You almost jumped out of your skin the first time you were expecting to look up to see your slutty waist hero boyfriend making sure you're getting home safe, to instead be making eye contact with a man built like a fridge with blood on him waving a gun like a concert glow stick, as greeting to you.

Try: How much effort would they put into dates, gifts, anniversaries, etc?

Dick has a lot going on in his schedule, so it's rare to have a time when you're both free to go out for dates or anniversary dinners. So he'll put in as much effort his being can do to make them perfect and go as planned. Don't be surprised if you look at a camera and it moves up and down; it's Baraba saying hi; he asks her to watch the place to ensure no villains or poppazi are planning on making an entrance.

Ugly: What are some bad habits of theirs?

A bad habit of Dick's is taking care of others, sometimes in a way that hurts his own well-being. Did he get shot in the arm? It's okay, he's alright, about Tim? Is Tim okay? Another Bad habit he has is he tries to ignore his problems until they are eating him alive.

Vanity: How concerned are they with their looks?

Dick is very concerned with his looks, but he's not self-absorbed. He often uses it as an outlight when he can't take care of something mentally. He'll be training or working out until exhaustion if he is angry about something. It may not solve the issue, but he feels better now to look at it with a level head. He also uses his looks as a form of self-care. It's how he recharges.

Whole: Would they feel incomplete without you?

When Dick falls in love, he falls hard. So without, he'll feel like that part of him, left with you.

Xtra: Random headcanon for them?

He is very goofy sometimes; one of his favorite things to do when you two are sparring is when you are trapped under the other. He turns the sparring into a ticking match.

Yuck: What are some things they don’t like, in general, or in a partner?

He hates people who lack empathy; I'm not talking about people who close themselves off due to trauma, but that ACTUALLY LACKS empathy. He could never date someone fine without batting an eye and leave their friend or ally for dead. And he can tell the difference. He also could never date someone who shares a lot of traits with the Joker.

Zzz: What is their sleeping habit?

Dick either sleeps for 14 hours or won't sleep for 3 days; there is no in-between. However, if you do, he will get a half to a ''normal'' sleep schedule because he wants to spend time with you. But if you don't have a regular sleep schedule, he's fucked! No matter what, though, he constantly moves in his sleep for the first 2 hours, then stays still for the rest of the night after moving on to his stomach. You would mistake his sleeping for he suffocated himself in his sleep. If it wasn't for his muffled snoring.

Lines drawn in Charcoal : Jason Todd x Male Reader.

This will be the frist writing I've ever posted online, so I hope at least some one enjoys this. @n0cturna1-m3 here ya go!

Cw: mentions of scars, childhood truama, past truama in general, body image issues and self image issues.

Living in a safehouse with Jason has a roommate had it's ups and downs, no matter how many years you've know Jason. It was no secret he had been through a lot, only a small drop of that pain he's shared. Most he keeps in his head, if to remind himself he is still alive or to torture himself to stay in control. You were never sure.

That's what made scenes like this sobering, reminding you that he's still the sweet Jason under all the walls he built up. The Jason that no matter how much he tries to hide it, to cage it, he has a heart bigger than himself. This morning, Jason choose to spend in his favorite reading spot. Slumped in the red padded chair that caught his eye, while walking past the antique store. The thought of leaving the chair or even moving an inch, melted away has soon has your fluff ball decided to join him.

The cat had falling asleep purring hours ago; Jason's attention was only focused on the book that he was half way through. And where were you? You were sat on the couch with your sketchbook and charcoal pencils, capturing each soft and rough line of the handsome man.

Making sure to get every detail and proportion right; his sharp jawline, the soft lines of his lips, his brows knitted in concentration. More importantly how relaxed he was, where he wasn't on edge and paranoid. That the next corner he turns someone will be someone with a gun pointing at him, or worse, someone he cares about.

During one of the times you were looking down at your sketchbook, Jason finally pulled out of the fantasy world he was so engrossed in. Probably from the not so subtle sound of the pencils dragging in short or long strokes on the paper.

' Whatcha drawing now?' he inquired, with his own hypothesis that you were drawing the fluffy croissant in his lap. 'Just my world' you replied causing a sign to leave Jason's lungs at how cryptic the answer was. Sure it still could very well still be the cat, you drew the little whiskered demon everytime she was still. With the vague answer though, it could be a sketch of the city, to your favorite food.

' Ya gonna give me any hints or am I gonna have to geuss on my own?', Jason knew you loved when people tried to geuss what you were drawing. He also loved the weird ass guinea pig like noise that came from your throat, when someone didn't geuss correctly. 'the sketch is of a living thing' now you were intentionally being vague to draw out the game.

' Let me geuss, is it the ball of fluff in my lap? That for some reason, you took one look at, and named spleens??', Jason interrogates with a humored toned. The unique chuckle coming from your vocal cords, was he needed to hear to know he was wrong. 'for the record I explained why I named her spleens, when I first brought her home with me. And Nope! Handsome and strong? Jason had to think harder with that answer; my world, handsome and strong. Was it a trick answer and you were referring to poetry? 'Atlas??', he replied, perplexed. His answer was met with more of a laugh this time, he assumed he got too far away from the answer. You laughing frustrated him,' Fine, enough of the game. I give up, who are drawing?'. He didn't care about winning anymore, just wanting to know the answer.

' It's you', the answer and smile you gave was so simply, but it cut through Jason deeper and with more weight than of of the League of assassins' blades ever could. Him? Your world? Handsome and strong? Jason couldn't see where you were coming from, or more so his insecurities wouldn't allow him too.

This had to of been a sarcastic answer and you actually drew someone else, it has to be. He's seen himself in the mirror, he knows he's not anything but disgusting. He's not handsome, his body looks like a living corpse, all the damn scars that covered his body. The walls felt like they were closing in, there was ringing in his ears. His image, his face, his body changing in the mirror being distorted. Taunting him, proving that no matter how much he tries to move on from what joker did to him, he'll never be anything more than what Joker made him. The memories of his biological father screaming about how much hates him, Batman -

' Jason!', your worried voice and your gentle hands touching his face, with the other on his arm brought him back to the present. He hadn't realized he had been shaking or the panic that exploded out of his chest. 'Breathe, you're going to past out if you don't. Focus on me, follow my pace of breathing.', he did has you said syncing his breathe with yours.

Once Jason finally calmed down fully you asked why he just had a panic attack, 'You don't have to share all of it, you can just give me the cliff notes'. He doesn't know what he did to deserve someone so understanding. 'When you said those things about me, my thoughts got the better of me. Reminding why I can't be any of those things', he stated still a little shakey.

'Do you want to see what I see you had?', he was hesitant, no he was scared to see it, but your voice sounded so reassuring. He trusted you,' If you think it would help, then yes', you gave him the finished sketch. His mind didn't allow him to believe fully that someone could see him like this, he looked normal, he looked so happy. You held his hand and flinched, like he was still on fight or flight.

'When I see you, I don't see you has your trauma or a victim. I see you has a survivor. You aren't who you are, because of joker or anyone else. You made yourself who you are, despite what happened to you.', you took a breathe giving that chance to look him in the eye.

'I read somewhere that in some Asian cultures, when a plate breaks they mend it back together with gold.', Jason felt like he couldn't breathe, he didn't know what to say. 'You aren't something that needs to be fixed has if you were brand new, that's not how truama works. But if let me, can I help mend those wounds with gold? To help build you back up?' Jason couldn't stop the tears that welded up and fell down his face. He pulled into the strongest hug he could muster, he never knew he need to hear those words, until you said them.

You let him cry has long has needed, he's been holding those emotions in for so long. He finally answers the question in a shaky voice, so small you almost didn't hear it.
