In regards to my modern AU verse. I have a rather heavy headcanon that I've been mulling over, and I think I'm going to go with it, because while this is an AU... by now you guys have probably noticed that I am incredibly uncreative and like to take influence or give nods to canon elements, even in AUs.

This headcanon's going to involve domestic abuse/domestic violence and threat of murder or attempted murder, and will be tagged appropriately for these topics. Still, reader discretion is advised, and I do want to note that anyone who interacts with this verse is absolutely not required to adhere to this headcanon. I know it's an incredibly heavy, touchy, sensitive, uncomfortable topic, and while I will aim to remain respectful, it's inevitably not going to be suitable for everyone.

If it isn't comfortable for you, just let me know, and the reason for the divorce in our specific threads will be left as a general case of "irreconcilable differences" or simply, "it just didn't work out."

In my modern AU verse for this blog, Elwin and Anabella are divorced, with Elwin having been the one to leave and file for it.

The reason for this is because Anabella pulled a knife on him in a fit of anger. Whether she simply threatened him or tried to attack him is never clarified, mostly because Elwin doesn't want to talk about it. Why am I taking this route with their relationship, despite how extreme it is? Because of the fact that Anabella in XVI's canon story had no qualms with having him murdered, and she revealed at the end of her life just how much she had resented Elwin and all of the reasons why. Even in a modern setting, I don't personally feel that these feelings and this reaction would be out of the realm of possibility for her character, given that in spite of this being an AU, she is still her. She is still the same core character, as is my Elwin.

This verse isn't written specifically to be a "happy AU", though if that's something you're interested in setting up, especially if you're playing Anabella, Clive, Joshua, or even Byron, I'm more than happy to do that with you!

But yes. Elwin doesn't discuss the true reason behind the divorce, or rather likely will not do so in RP threads. He doesn't even like to discuss the fact that they are divorced -- which, while he usually hides the depths of his feelings on the matter with a silly sort of reply of "It's complicated", the truth is that it really IS complicated.

Prior to that event, their relationship had become increasingly more strained due to disagreements between them, but there had never been violence. To him, the attack seemed unprompted, though in hindsight it's clear that his wife had been harboring quite a bit of resentment and anger towards him, and misery regarding their marriage, that she had simply never revealed to him.

He does still love her, regardless of how she feels towards him. He will not, however, go back to her. He does try to get full custody of the boys, or at the very least of Clive -- though whether or not it works is going to be left up to a case by case basis.

For those following me because of the Vic-Mignogna-potentially-tried-to-have-me-murdered longpost (if you're new here, you're definitely gonna wanna click that link and read, read, read), here's an important update that especially applies to anybody who had a harassing experience with Vic (of whom I saw MANY telling stories that they had in the notes of the longpost).

Farah has been hyping up the fact that she has filed a police report about the incident with the Irving PD (Texas). It's real, by the way, and while they give very minimal information, it's possible to locate the report to prove that it's real.

Interestingly enough, apparently the reporting officer you see here in this report may not be the officer working the case anymore, as Farah seems to say in other posts online that Vic's sycophant chud followers kept calling her desk and harassing her to the point where she asked to be removed from the case, so now another officer has been assigned to this. As if harassing the cops is a smart way to make this all go away.

I am hesitant to get anybody too excited, but Farah seems very positive that after all this time, the police want to get things done. From the video and other social media posts, the police want to talk to anybody with more info, they've talked to people at Funimation who you may remember held their own internal investigations on Vic in 2019, and MAYBE the FBI is involved because there's a lot of dirt on this guy? Look, I wanna be realistic here. I'm just repeating what she's saying. I don't know how true any of that is. But if there's any truth in it, I want to help.

She mentions it in the above video, but also makes mention in a much shorter and more pointed TikTok video (click link to see yourself) that if you were ever victimized by Vic in any way that came across as harassing or could be construed as assault, no matter how long ago it was, Irving PD wants to know about it. You'll have to file a police report with your own local PD (or the area where it happened?) and tell them to tell Irving PD. Give them case number 23-17071. If they're really going to build a case and seriously consider doing something about him, then the least I can do is tell you about this.

And believe me, I get it. There are a MILLION reasons why a victim would not report their assault or their harasser. I've already seen the victim blaming for the last four and a half years. "Why didn't any of these people file police reports rather than just posting about it online?" Because it's none of your fucking business. But aside from that, it's terrifying, you don't know how it will affect your work, if your harasser will retaliate, if they will send their flying monkeys after you, or any number of other reasons (not the LEAST of which might be ACAB).

That having been said, I figured the best thing I could do after posting that whole story would be to share this update. And again, I don't know how far along this really has progressed. But there IS a police report that we can prove really exists. To that extent, this is not a lie. The police really, truly are involved.

If you were ever victimized, and if--ONLY IF--you feel confident enough and safe enough to help build a report against Vic, it sounds like now is the time to do it. Farah is also trying to be as supportive as she can, I know. Talk to me about it if you want. Maybe we can figure out safe ways to make this happen. BUT DON'T FEEL OBLIGATED IF YOU DO NOT FEEL SAFE DOING SO! At no point are you required to put yourself in danger. Just, if you want to, if you feel safe, if you are ready, this looks like the route they're trying to build to actually finally do something about this guy.

Huh. As far as I can tell in Preboot era, none of the Robins' murder moments or near-murder moments were ever as Robin?

Damian beheaded that guy in his intro issue (idk if he had near-murder moments while Dick was Batman). Dick killed Joker (and I think one other guy?) while he was Nightwing. Jason killed as the Red Hood, and as someone with no mantle during the Lost Days arc. Stephanie (nonfatally) strangled her dad while she was Spoiler, and kicked off War Games explicitly after the end of her Robin run.

Main timeline Tim got close to killing Boomerang as Red Robin, but like Steph let her dad go, Tim let Harkness live. He thinks about it in a couple desperate situations as Robin, but quickly rejects the idea. The closest thing to near-murder he has as Robin is threatening suicide to chase off Evil Future Batman.

It's interesting! Robin doesn't kill. Characters who have been Robin or may become Robin in the future can kill or come close, but when you're in the mantle of Robin, you don't kill.

JPV, Jason, and Evil Future (erased timeline) Tim have killed while in the Batman mantle, but nobody has as Robin. Is that true in alternate timelines, dimensions, what-ifs, etc too?

He's not as subtle at Pomegranate Cookie in manipulation, but he's still pretty good at it. He slips up every once and a while, but he can and has managed to backtrack.

He's very, very possessive. He doesn't like you having other friends or having connections outside of him. He know he can't do anything about the other Cookies of Darkness, but he can definitely do something about those pesky Cookies who think they're worth you're time..

The next day, you're sobbing to him, wailing about how your friend was murdered in cold jam(blood).

And as he pats your hair, comforting you, he can't hide a grin. Luckily, your face is hidden in his robes, so you can't see.

Aside from murder, he's also manipulated Cookies away from you. He's made them think that they're not worth your time, that they're just annoying.

So many things that aren't true, but he makes them believe.

So as more and more Cookies distance themselves from you or flat out stop contacting you, it causes you to go to Licorice Cookie for comfort.

Who simply grins and comforts you, assuring you it isn't your fault.

Unlike Pomegranate Cookie, he keeps you in the dark about what he does. Doesn't matter what your moral compass is, he's not telling you. He doesn't want to risk it.

So as Licorice Cookie slowly isolates you, he gets extremely possessive of you. He wants you by his side, and if that's not possible, to tell him where you're going if you're going somewhere.

If he can go with you, he'll go with no. No way on Earthbread is he letting you go somewhere with someone else

All in all, pray Licorice Cookie doesn't become a yandere for you.

Sheriff General Headcannons

GENRE - Romantic

Sheriff is possibly one of the better yanderes around Nevada under certain circumstances. Compared to the likes of others, He's a lot more manageable is your able to work with him. This is due to him being both delusional and wanting nothing more than to live in peace with you but that's only IF you play along.

He often daydreams . This has turned into almost a form of maladaptive daydreaming which has almost gotten to the point it takes up most of the time he spends at his desk instead of signing papers. Which has lead to him rushing it and not being able to get everything done

He doesn't really hide his feelings for you, constantly flirting and calling you affectionate pet names. He'll get you gifts and show you his love via hugs, kisses, etc. No matter how much it makes you uncomfortable and tell him to stop, he's already too far gone. To him, It's almost like you two are already in a relationship and in his ideal fantasy world: You are.

He's nice, easy going but isn't stupid. He won't let you go once he has you, even if you ask nicely. Anything else you want though? it's yours. He'll try to get his boys ( aka MERC ) to come around and help him out with it. Thanks to the sense of community Sheriff has established, most will be more than happy to help him out.

He'll also make sure to get some to stalk you and others to dig up some information. He wants to know your likes and dislikes after all! He wants to make sure he can make you happy and compatible in any and every possible way! Maybe even snag a missing item that he can claim you left while visiting him, Y'know. So he has an excuse to see you and play a little bit of the hero.

Wants so desperately to be your hero, to save you from the madness. Wants you to idolize him and swoon as he goes past and winks. Just overall: in his head, he's the cool cowboy who saves the damsel/Damoiseau in distress aka you. It's just how it's meant to be!

He'll get all giggly around you. constantly complimenting you to the point it becomes awkward. Even the littlest thing, Whether it's about your smell or the certain little thing that no one else knows or should know. He just nervously spurs them out, thinking it's endearing when it makes your skin crawl - terrifying you because he shouldn't know that

You could probably kill him and get away but it would result in the MERCS hunting you down for the rest of your days. Not exactly ideal. He just loves you too much to fight back against you or any violence you throw at him - Also he's cowardly. He'd rather run from you than fight, so he usually flees the room if you start trying to get violent with him.

However, With as much as he'd never dream of harming you. He would never let anyone hurt you. Not in a million years, With how soft and sweet he is with you, It'll come as a surprise to the fact he won't hesitate to gun down anyone who even thinks of you the wrong way.

No one gets to tell you that you aren't the perfect thing to ever grace Nevada. You are the best thing that ever happened to him and he will not tolerate slander. Not even from his own men. If anyone does so in his presence or gets told by another member of MERC, He'll make their death easy but in no ways quick.

A lot of people forget just how intimidating he can be but keep in mind, When he is running in every appearance, both in the series and game, The most deadly men of Nevada are behind him. His voice can get real deep and he knows how to make most people's skin crawl from a tilt of his hat and a couple words alone.

Can get insanely paranoid too which had lead him to keeping you close to him. He doesn't want to lose you, he's already lost so much, will only leave you with his most trusted allies and even then - he's constantly checking in. He just wants to live in peace with you, maybe you could even have kids! ( maybe you guys could adopt?... somehow. ) He just really wants the whole domestic fucking package.

But his paranoia leads him to isolating you you - probably the only one you see. It's both to keep you safe. However this might end up with you warming up to him quicker. Grunts are social creatures and flock to each other because they desire that attachment and belonging. You are no different, so when he is the only one you see in your prison, You may start to develop Stockholm syndrome because you crave social interaction and possible affection.

I would not recommend testing the waters. You can't really trust him as far as you can throw him. If you push him far enough, Break too many of his delusions, stripping him of his ideal fantasy world and force him to face reality? It WILL result in severe punishment and an even worse yandere.

He'll essentially " trains " you to go along with it - To meet his expectations and work hard to make his fantasy a reality. You have to because he loves you and there is no other option in his head. He'll become a lot more colder and easily angered over the littlest mistakes you make. Bereding you with insults for not playing along.

He's not playing the nice guy anymore and doesn't intent when he gave you so many chances to play along, to just give him that little bit of indulgence. Just once, Please recuperate his affections because you're slowly wearing him down and he doesn't wanna resort to hurting you. He really doesn't want too, so he'll get other, expendable grunts to do it ( after - slaughtering them for laying a hand on his darling. ).

He's desperate for you to love him back and he will go to any means to get it.

OH, MAN! WHO WANTS AN UPDATE TO THE VIC MIGNOGNA MURDER PLOT LONGPOST?

I'll also be tacking a chunk of this onto the end of that reblog, if you happen to see that floating around, but I'll be cross-linking ASAP. But basically, Vic more directly addressed the Farah situation on his Twitch livestream today! Boy, Farah's not gonna like this one. Especially because we have proof that things did not go the way he said they went. He does not address the murder plot itself, but addresses the fact that, yes, he did in fact have this relationship and he's just mad at how Farah is handling learning about who Vic really is.

Watch the video above, but also, I'm putting a transcript of what he says here. I'm putting the transcript behind a cut, followed by personal commentary on how he's trying to dodge responsibility, lie, and gaslight despite the fact that we have information contrary to what he's saying.

Before that, though, I want to make it clear that before this specific block of video/transcript, he spent about 10 to 15 minutes saying that he is the way he is because his dad walked out on his family when he was like nine years old, and so he started getting really desperate to overachieve to gain everybody's attention and affections, got himself into a marriage with a wife and two of her kids at the age of 35, then she divorced him, and that's why he pursued anime and conventions as hard as he did because he just wanted to feel like people liked him (it's a really weird way he excuses a lot of his shitty behavior). Like I said, it goes on like that for, like, 10 to 15 minutes. And THEN he talks about his interactions with Farah. And boy, is it wild. Transcript and elaboration below:

"There's been someone online  and I'm not going to say their name, who's been making a lot of noise  and trying to cause a lot of trouble.  Not just for me, but even for people that care about me,  even friends of mine, which is just crazy.  And what's really nonsensical  is it's all private personal interaction. 

The simple truth here is  that I met this person a little over a year ago  and we both agreed when we met  that we were not interested in some kind of relationship  or some kind of long-term, deep, romantic thing. We both said that.  And so I felt like, okay,  we were honest from the very beginning  and we set the ground rules and fine. Just meant to be kind of fine and casual.  But several months in,  this person started expressing deeper feelings. And I was like, whoa, whoa, that's not what we talked about.  We said that we weren't gonna do that.  And there was someone in my life that I loved  and wanted to--I wanted to express--I wanted to focus more attention on that relationship. 

And so I told this person, the one that I was just casually, occasionally connecting with,  that I needed to break that off,  that I needed to stop that  because I wanted to focus on this relationship. Well, they didn't take it very well.  I started to back away.  I told them that I wanted to focus on this  and that I felt like the right thing to do  was to end the connection with them. And they did not take it well  and since then have been doing any damage they could to me or anyone connected to me. 

Now, this person claimed to love me and care about me. And I don't know about you,  but flaming somebody,  illegally recording conversations,  releasing private messages,  those are not the actions of somebody you care about. You know what I mean?  That's not what you do  to someone that you care about.  I mean, and by the way, that's a crime. Can I just point that out, everybody?  It's illegal.  I haven't committed any crimes.  I mean, I've definitely made some bad mistakes. I've hurt people, I've made bad choices that I regret,  but recording someone's phone conversation  without their knowledge or their permission  is against the law, much less releasing it. 

And I don't know about you,  but I could never do those kind of things  to somebody that I genuinely cared about. And you know what's interesting, you guys?  It's easy to love someone who loves you back, right?  Right?  It's so easy to love someone who loves you back. That doesn't take much work.  The real test of true love  is loving somebody who may not feel the same way  or loving someone even when things don't go  the way you wanted them to. That is the test of true love.  Caring about somebody enough  that you don't react badly, you don't seek vengeance or try to hurt them  because things didn't go the way you wanted them to.  That is not love.  And the real test of love is caring about somebody  and demonstrating compassion and grace and mercy  and understanding and kindness  even when things didn't go the way you wanted them to. If you are Christians and I--and I--I am and I want to be better at it, you can't treat people that way. 

God loves us and extends grace and forgiveness to us  that we do not deserve.  And we are called to do the same thing. We are to forgive because we've been forgiven.  We are to extend grace because grace has been extended to us.  We are to be compassionate in the face of anger or hatred  or whatever because it was extended to us by God.

Nothing was ever meant out of malice or vindictiveness  or deceit in my mind.  I have just struggled for a long time as I told you  because of my own past and my own upbringing  and things that have happened in my life  that have made me struggle very, very hard  to feel that I was worthy of love, that I was worth anyone's time or attention or love.  And I suspect that a lot of you do as well. 

So that's the only thing I'm going to say.  I would like to encourage you guys once again, do not engage, do not engage and fight or argue  or post or reply to this stuff  because you know what the overarching umbrella  over everything that I just said is? It's nobody's business.  Your private life, your private interactions with somebody  are yours and theirs business, nobody else's. And just by virtue of the fact  that a lot of people may know who I am,  makes it very inviting for someone to make a big stink  and make a lot of noise on social media. Why? Not because it's gonna change anything,  but just to get attention or to somehow seek revenge  because you're hurt or things didn't go the way  you wanted them to. Don't engage with these people online, okay?  Can I ask you that?  Please, please don't, for yourself as well,  for your own sanity. 

The, these people are so desperate to feel important. They want so badly to feel noticed.  In fact, think about this, you guys.  They probably don't think very highly of themselves. Do you see the connection?  Do you see the similarity between me  and my childhood and my upbringing? Do you see it?  Not feeling worthy.  Not feeling like you're a very much value.  A lot of people feel that, and the only difference is how they deal with it.  How does it come out?  Some people will do just about anything  and say just about anything online or in person  to get some attention because that attention  makes them feel valuable. It makes them feel noticed.  Do you see it?  Do you see it? 

I remember a psychology class when I was in college.  And I remember them saying that,  I remember the professor one day saying  that children or people in general  would prefer negative attention to no attention at all. Think about that for a minute.  They would rather be known for something bad  than not to be known at all. And the problem with social media,  I'm sorry, but this is important.  I'm sorry that I'm talking about this,  but the problem with social media guys is  you don't have to prove anything. You can get online and you can say anything you want.  You can make any claims you want.  And nobody really knows whether it's true or not. And I'll tell you something else.  If any of you have ever worked with Photoshop  or editing programs, you can edit text messages, you can edit emails, you can edit photos.  You can make something appear to be a certain way.  And I happen to know for a fact  that there have been an awful lot of lies, flat out lies that have been propagated, that are not true.  But there's nothing you can do  because people have the right to say whatever they want. Social media has given everybody a voice  to hurt someone from thousands of miles away  with no accountability, no proof of anything, nothing."

MAN, this guy lies like he breathes. For one, he does everything in his power to dodge saying he had a sexual relationship with the person he was describing. Just incredible.

For another thing, even if he and Farah started off as casual partners, Farah was absolutely not cool playing the part of a homewrecker. She has stated this herself multiple times, including here on TikTok.

Vic deliberately leaves out the actual timeline of events. Why? Because it's SUPER messy, because he's a super messy dude. Okay! Wanna know what that timeline looks like? You're not ready for this.

Vic dated/was engaged to Michele Specht between the years of 2006 to 2018. That's a long-ass amount of time! During that time, Vic cheated on Michele REPEATEDLY, with prostitutes, other fans at anime conventions, even people on his Star Trek Continues fan film (that Michele ALSO stars in, so that's super fuckin' shitty). But a very SPECIFIC super fuckin' shitty relationship that cropped up during that time was with Haileigh Todd (maybe you recognize that name from the previous longpost!). Haileigh and Vic met somewhere around 2016. By 2017, Vic was the ADR director of the one and only Funimation anime he'd ever get to direct, Juni Taisen. And guess what! Haileigh Todd got to be in it. Also, another one of his side chicks, Chelsea Beard, ALSO got to be in it! Fuckin' gross, goin' around behind at least three different women's backs! How do we know it was even just those three?

Anyway, a bunch of shit happens, and by 2018 Michele finally left Vic. All the shit about his behavior hit the fan in 2019, and you guys know how that went. He's had some more girlfriends since then. And guess what! At least one of those girlfriends was Haileigh Todd! AGAIN! And this time, Haileigh is a little more permanent, and a little more public with her relationship with Vic. She starts posting about him on Instagram in late 2021, and by early 2022 she's saying they're the real deal now. Aww, how cute and sweet!

But then Bak-Anime 2022 happens, in Bakersfield, California, May 21-22, 2022. This is where Farah meets Vic! And they apparently hit it off and become an item! A SEXUAL item!

But, oh no! Vic had never broken up with Haileigh! Haileigh's still posting about her relationship with Vic at Anime Matsuri, which was at the end of July, 2022! UH-OH!

So then Farah has her little Discord chat in December 2022 that got leaked to me later. Farah is saying that Vic has been telling her that he needs to "go back to his ex, to give her closure, because she's been hounding him because she could tell he was talking to another woman". But is it REALLY his ex when he never broke up with her to begin with? But also, he wanted to leave her as an open option, and didn't want their break-up to be permanent???

From what Farah says online later, she and Vic didn't talk for a few weeks while he "gave Haileigh closure", and then there they go, going right back to being in a relationship again! WITHOUT ever breaking up with Haileigh! AGAIN! And this happens up until May, through her harassing me on his behalf, potentially planning my murder (very maybe yes), until I dropped these Discord screenshots. And then SHE decided not to forgive him, and their relationship ended.

So, hey, Vic! Way to leave out the part where your "casual little friend" you had there was a sexual relationship you were having behind your monogamous partner's back, that you told neither Haileigh NOR Farah about before engaging in! Very cool, 60-year-old man guy! COOL!

And, like, come on now. It's kinda fucking sick to do all this lying and manipulative shit to multiple women, and then shame the women involved for being mad that you did that shit to them. Like, if God will just forgive you for everything you do, how dare they not forgive you for being a lying, manipulating piece of shit? Like, if this was just a one-off instance, that'd be one thing. But this is a thing you have been KNOWN for and CAUGHT DOING for DECADES to COUNTLESS WOMEN. But this time you were legitimately caught in 4K. You don't get to just pretend that these are just crazy, lying, vindictive, vengeful bitches, man. We all know. We ALL know!

And to top it all off, the man confirms that he had this relationship (albeit while trying to gaslight his audience into thinking it wasn't all that it actually was), and yet turns around and says elements of the things Farah has been sharing are fake. As a reminder, Farah faked an absolutely abysmal Change.org petition, as well as an abysmally terribly faked "CNN-Anime" article on Medium.com (she wrote my name as Kaylyn Dicksion-Saucedo, and that's not my name--my name is Kaylyn Dalene Saucedo, not using my maiden name, and not hyphenated). I cannot stress enough to you that when Farah fakes things, SHE IS EXTRAORDINARILY BAD AT IT. I ran so much of the stuff she was sharing via Discord and other screenshots since then by so many other people, and we all came to the conclusion that when it came to this, she was absolutely not faking it. Like, it was way too COMPETENT to be faked. Do you understand what I mean? She is not good enough to convincingly fake the important parts of her relationship with Vic that she has been sharing. Top that off with video recordings of phone calls she's had with him (which he confirms in the video are real), and it more than proves that she's been telling the truth about the nature of their relationship. And it's ALSO what makes me that much more able to believe that it's entirely possible they'd had conversations about plotting my death.

This man has repeated the same rhetoric for decades now--that people only say negative things about him because he's famous and his detractors are just looking for attention. DO NOT BELIEVE HIM. Sometimes, when people are trying to warn you, it's because they've seen enough shit and don't want other people to get hurt. That's where we're at right now. At this point, we are not signal boosting these stories because it earns us brownie points within our communities. We do it because we CARE about those communities enough to not want them to get hurt at the hands of some fucking 60-year-old Screamy Broccoli Man narcissist. We earn nothing by spreading the message. As you saw from my longpost, clearly, we get death threats and possibly even future hit jobs put on us! What good does this actually do me in the end?

(oddly specific childhood) Trauma culture is being so used to being in bad situations that you have no idea what to do when things aren't bad. Like I'm just so used to receiving passive or even active death threats that to me it's bizarre that that isn't just a thing that happens.

Most people never experience that, and I struggle being around those people because to me it's absolutely normal. What do you mean no one has ever tried killing you? What do you mean there isn't an average age when someone gets their first near-death experience?
