Have you played the new culinary crucible yet? Did you see where you go to get noodles? I laughed so hard when I realized why.
Ignihyde: the home of instant noodles. I know Idia's crying because it's Floyd and Sebek who are coming into Ignihyde and asking (or demanding) for noodles... T-T you wouldn't even have to threaten Idia for the noodles either. He takes one look at Sebek and Floyd and surrenders all of the noodles.
But also,,,, the way he holds his knife and fork... it's too cute. <3 he eats so silly. I love him. :D

I have seen you talking about Dick & Dami's relationship and Dick & Tim as well, but what are your takes on Dick and Jason actually?
Like how you wish their relationship should be portrayed today and where are them missing when it comes to making those two acting like siblings?
Do you think in the past their dynamic was better?
How Dick views Jason and how Jason views Dick?
This is difficult to answer because there are like 8 different stages to Dick and Jason's relationship with various dynamics. They also view each other a bit differently depending on which stage we're talking about.
The way I would like their relationship to be portrayed today isn’t necessarily possible thanks to Jason’s integration into the family and acceptance of the no killing moral code. For me, their ideal dynamic is portrayed in Outsiders #44-46. And I know people are gonna find that regressive as hell but, tbh, that dynamic is far more interesting than the kinda awkward thing they have going on now.
Although, I don't mind that they acknowledge their brotherhood in a serious manner now. Like before they'd kinda be like, "Eh... I mean... we were adopted from the same guy but... brothers? Eh..." And now they're more firmly in the, "We're brothers," camp. So that development is interesting.
Character progression wise, it wouldn't feel right for for them to be super close in the way that, say, Dick and Tim are (unless we saw a lot of trust and relationship building between them), but at the same time, there is part of me that kind of wants them to have that older sibling bond (except Jason is closer in age to Tim than he is to Dick sooo actually let's just leave older sibling things to Dick and Cass... not that Cass is much older than Jason though so LOL this is why Dick has to lone the oldest sibling thing by himself... which is funny because Dick is technically no longer the oldest sibling, he's a baby brother now... except Dick and Melinda's relationship really hasn't progressed much sooo you could say they share blood but don't consider each other family yet, in which case, Dick is still the oldest... I mean, regardless, Dick is the oldest sibling of the Waynes... god why did they have to make all of this so difficult 😫).

You know, watching Gerard give his story as an act of true love to Elodie brings me nearly to tears. I thought the choice to play the Frog Prince was such an interesting choice because I always viewed this story as a princess story.
After all, the unnamed princess is one of the few rebellious, vain, and spoiled princesses we get in early princess fiction. She sneaks out of her castle, loses her precious heirloom, sneaks a frog back into her bedroom, and has the audacity to kiss a frog after he saves her from a scorpion (in some versions) AND she is rewarded for her character growth with a handsome prince entirely beholden to her.
These kinds of fairy tale stories are very rare.
In all versions I encountered as a child, very little attention is paid to the frog, his curse, or who he was before his magical transformation. I suppose he had to undergo something in that pond to get True Love’s Kiss but it wasn’t important enough to get an elaboration.
Watching Gerard in the Neverafter has been a delight and it hurt to hear Rapunzel’s manipulation as she twisted Elodie’s experiences second hand to suit her purposes while Gerard admitted he could have done better--which is also the truth.
It hurts because it is the truth. The sacrifice is worthy because it is true and it matters and he is giving up something real because the stakes are that high. I am so excite for what comes next.

Rereading the best series in the world in preparation for the show (which I’ve been so excited about I’ve been having DREAMS about it) and I’m so ashamed to have forgotten how amazing of a character Annabeth Chase is. Is she perfect? No. Is she realistically flawed? Yes. Does she try her best to help her friends, keep herself alive, and still remain true to who she is? Yes.
My biggest problem with characters modeled like her, (brainy, tough, annoying at times due to her intelligence, attractive) (such as Hermione from HP), is that their intelligence is made to be their whole personality. Their only contribution to the story is their intelligence and strategy (AKA their interest as a character and usefulness is limited to their smarts)
Annabeth Chase is not always wise. She sometimes panics in times of weakness (spiders), she makes rash decisions when it comes to her friends (jumping on the back of the monster in PJTC), and openly admits her fatal flaw is hubris. She does not limit herself to her intelligence - she trains and fights and tries her hardest (eventually) to get along with a kid who she has every reason to hate (his father is her mother’s enemy, he is praised for being a hero and gets a quest so easily after she has fought for one for years).
Percy gets all the credit for his loyalty and though he is beyond loyal, people tend to overlook the fact that Annabeth basically declared her alligence to him, dispute their parent’s hatred towards each other, on their first quest because he IS HER FRIEND.
She is too trusting. She can be “annoying” (though I don’t believe that’s the right word for it) with her intelligence. She is loyal to a fault. She is not always right.
Annabeth Chase is the most perfectly imperfect character and I will never forget that again.
