His own favorite body part would have to be his arms. I don’t think he cares too much. He’ll probably trim it up because he has an irrational fear that if he lets it grow too long, it’ll grow snakes (which cannot happen, he's just ridiculously paranoid). But he doesn’t like to be bald down there because he says it feels weird and doesn’t look right.

I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)

Again, he wants to have fun but also feel good. He’s loving and gentle but still dominating in some aspects. He’ll let you have control if you really want it but he’s not overly rough. Demanding, less with words more through actions, but still gentle and caring.

its pretty much a "okay what if they didnt betray cell" kinda thing. VERY loose idea but essentially pac e mike dont betray cell -> cell is still weird creepy and gross but. not losing his mind because he wants to kill them so bad. basically pac does convince mike to work with cell instead of jv because of the protection cell can offer them. they come up with a plan to game jv instead and pretend to not work with cell just long enough to figure out the full escape plan so they can hijack it.

jv does still die in this! its awesome its bloody its hot. all great things

i also had some ideas about the actual prison gang stuff and pac e mike's position of being under cell's protection (which means a lot in alcatraz) vs still being relatively easy targets for someone who might want to exploit what they think is cells weakness. does not end nice for them tbh

cell is still gross and creepy but at this point theyre stuck with him. hes their gross and creepy now :/ he's definitely possessive of them and its not healthy but. theyre in prison. what about it is going to be healthy. i think its a lot of like. stolen moments that arent necessarily romantic but there are a lot of undertones. cell grabbing pac's chin and pac leting him handle him. possessive touches. at first its something that mike almost steps in on but eventually he knows that cell will only go as far as he thinks pac will let him, and pac only lets cell go as far as he thinks he can before mike's likely to gut cell with his own knife. its fucked and weird but its theirs.

hadnt thought about how guaxinim fits into all of this yet which was an oversight on my part. sorry everyone. anyways it probably goes very similar to canon except guaxinim doesnt mind trying to escape with cell because well. hes not constantly threatening his life this time. and lets just say that the boat fits all of them because why not. also now that cell escaped felps can find them outside of prison.

they find a place to lie low together because where the hell would they go but together and its. comfy. its undeniably fucked and cell is a miserable housemate but. guaxinim tempers him and they balance eachother out.

“Oh, 11 o’clock. Steve’s favorite time,” Sam announces not-so-subtly to their desk bank. Steve hisses at his friend to be quiet while Natasha snickers from the desk opposite. Steve tries to ignore his coworkers as he anxiously watches the corner for the tell-tale sounds of a squeaky cart and the highlight of Steve’s work day.

The mail run.

Mostly because the new mail guy in their building is a walking wet dream. Steve has no idea why he’s pushing mail when he could easily be a model for any of the millions of photo shoots they work on at the fashion magazine. Steve, Sam and Natasha all work on the graphics and layout desk, framing the copy and adding pull quotes. Steve doesn’t like the industry but he likes the work. He’d prefer working for Time or The Economist, but it’s a step in the right direction.

At least he gets to spend forty-five seconds a day waiting for Bucky to show up, praying that he has something addressed to him so their interaction is increased to a full minute.

He had hoped his hopeless crush had gone unnoticed but clearly Sam and Natasha have twigged — and now are mercilessly making fun of him.

No matter, because the light of Steve’s life, the star of many erotic dreams and hapless daydreams, has just rounded the corner with his cart, that looks tiny in Bucky’s big and broad grip.

The squeaky wheel starts again and then stops — Steve’s heart does too.

Bucky is looking down at Steve but Steve cannot form a single sentence.

“Going fine, Barnes. Did you see the Mets game last night?” Sam rescues the impossibly awkward situation with practiced ease. 

Bucky shakes his head. “Sorry, man. I had a date.”

Steve feels like air has evaporated from the entire floor. He can feel Natasha’s eyes staring at him. 

“From the look on your face, it doesn’t look like it was a good one,” Sam says. Steve dares a quick glance and there’s a scowl on Bucky’s face as he leans on the short shelving that acts as dividers across the floor. 

“He stood me up.”

“I can’t imagine anyone standing you up,” Steve replies automatically, because apparently his brain-to-mouth filter has stopped working. Bucky’s gray eyes look at Steve and his lips pull into a smile.

“Thanks, Steve. That’s nice of you to say.” Bucky pulls out a couple of envelopes and drops it onto Sam’s desk. “Have a good day, guys!”

Bucky’s barely out of earshot when Sam laughs and throws a pen in Steve’s direction. Steve buries his head in his hands and burns with humiliation.

Three days later, Steve is stuck in a meeting that is overrunning and his desperation to leave is compounded by the fact that the clock is pushing past 11 o’clock and he’s likely to miss the highlight of his day. It’s five more agonizing minutes before he’s freed and he practically runs up the stairs to his floor instead of waiting for the elevator. It’s a mistake because he’s panting and heaving, and he’s pretty sure he needs his inhaler by the time he reaches his desk.

He must be light-headed because Bucky is sitting on his empty desk and talking to Sam and Natasha. When Steve approaches, Bucky turns with a blindingly bright grin.

“There you are! I need your autograph.”

Steve blinks twice until Bucky points to a small package on the desk and holds up a pen. “Oh! Yeah, sure! Of course!”

God, Steve, dial down the enthusiasm.

He scribbles his signature on the line and returns the pen to Bucky. Bucky stands from the desk, and Steve mourns the loss of the way his pants stretched across the expanse of his thighs as he sat. 

“Have a good one,” Bucky says with a departing salute. 

Steve collapses into his seat and groans, deciding whether his asthma will kill him first or his humilation. 

“Huh,” Natasha’s voice says as she inspects the labels on the package. “It says ‘no signature required’. Interesting.”

Sam needs envelopes for mailouts. Steve practically falls out of his chair in his haste to offer to pick them up from the mail room. Sam rolls his eyes but lets Steve go down to the lower floor to pick it up. Luckily, Bucky was in the front office section and there’s a pile of twenty envelopes on the counter as they chat. Steve thinks it might be going okay: he’s made Bucky laugh three times, found out he has a cat, has told him a mostly cute story about how he broke his arm when he was thirteen. 

It’s going well.

“Hey, do you like the Mets? I have an extra ticket for Saturday,” Bucky offers. 

Steve is having such a good time that he kind of misses the way Bucky’s head cocks to the side as he asks. 

“Oh, not really. The Mets are Sam’s thing.”

There’s a pause. “Okay… but I’m not asking Sam to come with me.”

“I think he’d like it. He’d probably buy the beer!” Steve says, still not getting it, and begins a long story about the time he and Sam went to Madison Square Garden for basketball. 

“Steve,” Bucky says gently, placing a hand on top of Steve’s. “I’m asking you if you’d like to come to the game with me. But if you really don’t want to, I’ll give both tickets to Sam. I don’t care what we do as long as we get to hang out on Saturday.”

“Like a date?”

Bucky laughs, deep and rich. “Yeah, Steve. Like a date.”

When Steve gets back to his desk, he’s in a daze. He can’t believe his luck and immediately thinks about the upcoming weekend. He only comes back down to Earth when Sam waves a hand in front of his face.

“Hey, where’s my envelopes?”

Hotaru makes her first real “friend” in the agency when she meets Naomi! They both help each other out a lot around the office, particularly on Naomi’s part when Hotaru joins missions. Hotaru always literally drops to her knees to thank her for this lol, just on the ground like “THANK YOU NAOMI YOU ARE MY ANGEL 😭😭🙏 HOW CAN I EVER REPAY YOUUU” (the answer is always a trip to the cafe for a little treat, and sometimes Junichiro joins them :3 )

I also imagine she’s pretty close with Yosano. Idk why but I can see them discussing literature together! They talk about it while doing the grocery shopping together! It’s sort of a little tradition of theirs…. :3c

Dazai she already knows, not just because of Kunikida’s excessive complaining, but because they’ve actually ran into each other before! Usually when she’s with Kunikida. Dazai would just appear randomly like “heeyy it’s the Kunikidas! I was just on my way to jump off a bridge but we should all totally go get ice cream!”

^She thinks he’s a little weird but she knows he’s actually super valuable to the agency, so she respects him anyway

Her relationship with Kunikida is kinda silly; she’s super nice to everyone but him lol (sibling moment). And he definitely returns the favor…

Kunikida is also the only one who tries to stop her from coming on missions (because 1. she’s not technically an agent (yet 😈) and 2. big brother protectiveness). Everyone else is always cool with her tagging along; they’re even grateful for the extra help!

And ofc she thinks Ranpo is the coolest ever!! She gets super shy around him though, so they don’t really interact a lot at first. But he thinks it’s cute 😌 just like her WHO SAID THAT

Ermm I think that’s it for her relationships within the agency!! She’s pretty normal about everyone else (like Kenji, Junichiro, Atsushi, etc), meaning she’s just nice to them and they’re nice back :) she’s pretty well-liked, and she doesn’t hate anyone (in the agency at least….)

The time is upon us! My 2K event is here! Again I want to reiterate how thankful I am for everyone who follows me and supports my writing. It means more than you'll ever know to have my own little corner of the world to share the random thoughts that pop into my brain. Without further ado, on to the fun stuff!

The Festivities

So, this is sort of a two part event. My ask box is going to be open and I'll be online answering asks, thirsts, FMK, and "would you rather" stuff all day long (within reason obviously because I'm still a human.)

I will also be writing drabbles based on the prompts you guys send in. These are gonna be short pieces (between 300-800 words depending on how inspired I am by the prompts sent in) that I'll be posting off and on throughout the day. I was thinking it would be sort of a rapid fire type deal. You guys send a prompt, I write the first thing that comes to mind, and then post it. So think of it sort of as thirst hours but a bit more in depth and actually in a narrative style.

First of all, thank you, anon, for brining this to my attention.

Rationally, the gif probably went out of hand when it past 1k notes. The one before mine is made by @/mlmanakin​ from this set. They are the first two results on google when you type 'ahsoka and rex gif'. Just let it be known they couldn't bother to make their own clip or screencap but took two gifs off the internet. What does it say when a rex*oka shipper knows to credit a rex*oka fanartist but does not extend the same courtesy to gifmakers?

Can't believe I'm saying this again in 2022. I literally do not care about your shipping activities. I can only pray that newcomers have enough independent thinking to interpret canon without being misguided of what is mainstream in the fandom. Seeing Rex and Ahsoka romantically involved, as contradictory to canon as it is, it’s still an interpretive freedom I hold everyone to. However, what I find intolerable of the shippers, is how often they appropriate edits then put on such combative but hollow defence.

I can understand 'death to the author' but a gifmaker/fanartist/fan writer is literally NOT the author?? They are just a fellow fan and shouldn't you extend the same respect to their boundaries and intentions? It is as if they are entitled to any one making Ahsoka and Rex content having the same single point of view — theirs.

For me, every time conversation starts only after the hijacking of my non-ship post. As much as most in the fandom disapprove of it, there isn’t some kind of manifesto circulating condemning people for it. It comes up in individuals’ blog descriptions, but you don’t see a long post in the public TCW tag justifying why you should not ship it. The phenomena is definitely more prominent back when Season 7 was airing and there were just more traffic, as well as instagram algorithm allowing people to abuse irrelevant tags. Luckily or not, two years later, I haven’t seen a strong enough pro-ship argument based on canon character traits or interactions.

I literally cannot care because I've stopped making Rex and Ahsoka gifs/content for a while. The shippers as a catalyst withstanding. Which is terrible, because if I don't contribute to the sum of platonic Ahsoka and Rex content, the fandomscape will indeed by monopolized by the romantic stream I hate to see. Gresham's Law... how does one fight it...

It's a paradox. If I don't act on the problem, the situation deterioates, yet it is at my own expense and risks that I'm doing a 'public service'. I know I'm heavy with those words, but I also feel a sense of duty somehow. Not policing who you should or should not ship, but fandom etiquette about engaging with others' work.

I keep telling myself 'I don't fucking care' I start believing that lie (hoping to do that with live-action asherka), but things like this come back up and you either submit to reality or make a stand for yourself. I'm *this* close to quitting Star Wars (as an almagation of factors). The core of it is I'm SICK of tying a world I love, and has changed me for the better, with negative emotions anymore. Since the live-action debut, more than half the time I'm dealing with feelings of betrayal, anger, confusion, accusation and unfairness. I have enough in my life to feel sad about, thank you.

But I want to emphasize, anon, if you've read up to this part, that in no way you made a mistake in letting me know. It's not your fault, I don't blame you. Something like this is bound to happen, more than once, the moment I open the canvas. Heck, even before that because I kept seeing it happen to other gifmakers. I perhaps just underestimated how long that period would last. These thoughts were simply buried and made light of day only because of you informing me that. It's good to let things out.

i actually did think you didn't like sam and cas for the longest time, but it's more than your bias for dean is evident. it took awhile to see through that and understand you are coming at sam and cas out of love and in a fun way and just happen to like dean more. there are a lot of other blogs that make digs at characters (esp sam and cas) in a NOT fun way, but pretend they "love all of TFW" and that's on me for lumping you in with them.

You know Anon, back when I used to post absolutely NOTHING except for memes, and also had a Sam banner and icon, someone asked me who my favorite character was, and I made it a poll because I was curious how good of a job I was doing keeping my content even. Lo and behold—they chose in order by vote percentage:

Then as the poll has stayed up ever since, I think Dean and Cas have traded places in the voting (but by now everyone knows Dean is my favorite). But a very large percentage of people did not know Dean was my favorite starting out. I was surprised, because I do indeed love Dean very VERY much. It isn't that I don't like Sam and Cas—but to me, Dean is possibly one of the greatest characters of all time. I could not possibly put into words how much I enjoy his character and all of the reasons why he's touched my heart. There is just no one out there quite like him in my mind. I think my bias for Dean has come through more in recent times—especially since the finale, because I miss him very much and his shitty death gutted (DON'T) me.

I think watching the show, when you look at the story only through one characters' lens, it's very easy to resent the others for not being perfect friends/family/brothers. I have even seen someone voice the sentiment before, "To some degree, to love Sam is to hate Dean, and to hate Dean is to love Sam" (paraphrasing). The thing is, when you genuinely look at your favorite (whether that's Dean or Sam or Cas) and look at their motivations and feelings and actions, it's clear that they love each other very much. That's an unavoidable fact in my mind. Both the best and worst things they've done have been at least partially motivated by the love they have for one another. I cannot, ultimately, dislike Sam or Cas knowing how much Dean loves them. To hate them would be to hate a part of Dean that is innate to who he is—his love for his family—and the choices and sacrifices he has made due to that love. It would be to say that there is something broken inside him that makes him unable to make the right choices about who should and should not be in his life. It would be to say that the foundation of the show, at the center of which is Dean's heart and how people around him are pulled inside of its orbit, is something tainted and unworthy.

It would also be to say that Dean's mistakes are okay and theirs are not, because you will find countless parallel events and threads tying their different actions together in ways that are different but also are often very much the same, if you get their motivations.

I think, for every stan out there of any main character... it would be a good idea to watch through the show trying to see it through a lens besides that of your favorite. I did this with Sam, and I am currently doing a rewatch where one of the goals is to focus on Cas's point of view more. Nothing can give you greater compassion and understanding than trying to step inside someone else's shoes, and having done this is one of the primary reasons I can't bring myself to follow many SPN accounts I have come across on Tumblr, because resentment runs rampant in many places, over characters or ships, and I don't care for that negativity. It's also the primary reason I started this blog to begin with. I wanted to carve out a positive space, where I didn't completely refuse to engage with the characters flaws (god knows fandom won't shut up about them anyway), but a place where I pointed out their flaws only to say those flaws are okay, don't make any one of them more unworthy of love than any of the others. Those flaws (at least—the ones I agree exist... there's a lot of flaws attributed to Sam, Dean, and Cas that I don't agree with at all) are what makes them human (err... or angel, respectively). I am not interested in Mary Sues (and I am definitely not interested in fans who sand down characters into Mary Sues to escape any semblance of their favorite being "problematic"). Just show me why they make the choices they do, even when those choices are broken, and I'm compassionate and I'm fascinated. I dare anyone to do better than the characters did with the cards they were dealt—with the lives they lived.

I can't say I've had the same experience on Tumblr as you with blogs pretending to like Sam and Cas while having a clear bias for Dean... I've tended to see quite a lot more of the opposite or worse. There are, after all, several blogs dedicated to absolutely nothing except trying to spread outright hate for Dean, and there was a time not long ago that you could not even go in the Dean tag without seeing countless ugly posts spewing vitriol about him (that has faded significantly since the show ended). But I think we're all bound to be most wise to the bias against our favorites (hell—I have picked up on someone's dislike of Dean from a gif blog before... and it was later confirmed that I was right). This is also part of what feeds the culture of anti-ism in the fanbase. People watched these characters for 12-15 years, and they latched onto one of them, and they know that character, and in many cases find identity and comfort with that character, and they see that character accused of terrible things that really aren't accurate at all, and the kind of innate human response to that is to want to do the opposite—hate their favorite because they hate yours. I think it's clear that that isn't what we're really supposed to get out of SPN. I don't think the intended narrative is that Dean hates Cas or Sam or that Sam hates Dean or that any one of them is unworthy of love and acceptance or is perfect or is too flawed. People can choose the narratives they want, but I'll continue vehemently disagreeing with them and making fun of them with the tag #don't feed the stans after midnight.

In a roundabout way, yes. Technically, Saarai’s entire existence on Rishii. Since, teeechhnically, as far as the Empire’s concerned at that point, Rai’s supposed to be dead. Lana doesn’t know the technicalities of why that is (and Saarai isn’t comfortable telling her, even now), but she knows it’s important, so she does it for her even if she doesn’t know why.

Favorite non sexual downtime activity?

Cuddles! Saarai is a cuddlebug, and while Lana enjoys them she’s definitely not the “if I don’t get cuddled x times a day I can’t go on” type (in my headcanon, ofc, I’m not saying she can never be that way!) but, Saarai’s also very warm and cuddling her is cozy, so it’s something they both enjoy, whether Rai’s the big spoon, or - and this is Rai’s favourite thing ever - Saarai putting her head in Lana’s lap so Lana can play with her hair, it’s something they always do at the end of the day when they’re both done with work.

Mushiest thing Your OC has ever done for Lana?

So, I’m too impatient & lazy to do the actual HK missions in-game, but I know you can technically get another HK unit, so because ✨it’s my fanfic and I get to make the rules✨ Saarai sent Aria (my DS! Jedi Shadow, very good at stealth) back to Zakuul and though it was a bit battered up, she managed to retrieve HK’s processor. They had to get him a new chassis, but Koth and Ty managed to salvage the rest of his “important” bits and they rebuilt HK for her after they settled on Odessen :’3

Saarai’s reaction when they went to Nathema. Rai’s psychometric, and in hindsight she realises putting her hand on that wall as she ducked into the building was a mistake. She was bombarded with flashback after flashback of what had happened on Nathema when it was still Medriaas, the planet where she was born and where most of her family died, it was not a pleasant experience for her and Rai actually collapsed at one stage because it was all too much for her ;w;

Lana had to bring her back around and herd her back on the ship, where Rai had to wait because she just couldn’t go any further, and Lana and Vano had to go on alone. Lana agreed not to tell anyone else about what had happened, because Saarai didn’t want any of them to worry about her, or think she was “weak” because of it.

The Angriest they’ve ever been at each other?

There’s actually two instances that come to mind for this one

1) Koth’s betrayal/stealing of the Gravestone, Lana was pissed at Koth and wanted to take it out on him, Saarai was pissed at the situation and got between them and chewed Lana out for taking it out on him. (Subterfugeverse is kinda complicated, there’s two Commanders calling the shots for different parts of the Alliance, Koth took issue with something Vano did and made the reckless, kinda stupid decision to still steal the Gravestone even tho Saarai didn’t do anything. (also for anyone new to the blog, all three of them are dating, they’re polyam ;)) Lana took it personally, Saarai was more upset that he was upset and didn’t say anything before he did something stupid. Rai and Lana butted heads about how to deal with it, Lana got salty cause she got yelled at, but they ofc fix it later :3)

2) Torian’s death. Saarai had tried to warn Lana what would happen if they split Vette & Torian up during that fight, Lana brushed it off and told Rai to “stop overreacting, it will be fine”. Obviously, it was not fine. Rai was very angry at the result because, I quote, “I WARNED YOU! And you wouldn’t listen to me!” Saarai refused to speak to Lana for a few days after that, it was kinda a rough time for Lana, she’s only seen Rai get that angry a few times, and only once at her so it shook her a bit. 😢

How does both Lana, and your OC initiate the ‘fade to black’ ;)

For Saarai, the “indicator” is usually when her kisses start to become 50/50 between kissing and biting/nibbling. That’s the universal “ok I want to” signal for Rai. Usually very quickly followed by a soft “yes?” or “are you sure?”, either against her skin or into her ear, depending on where she’s kissing at the time; because she’ll always check first, and if Lana says “no”, it’s off, because Lana’s consent is more important than any of her feelings.

For Lana, it’s when she’ll let Rai pick her up and/or usually to pin her to a wall. There’s a decent height difference, Saarai’s 6 ft 3, and I headcanon that while Lana’s not necessarily “short” at around 5 ft 8, she’s considerably smaller than Rai, as well as being more “reserved” with PDA, she’ll hold hands, or kiss her on the cheek etc. in front of other people, but otherwise Lana tries to keep somewhat “professional” while they’re at work. So when she starts climbing her like a tree, Rai knows she’s about to get some. XD

Do they have kids?

Kiiiinddd of? It’s complicated. Saarai has a son, Ty, from a previous relationship. Lana & Koth both sort of step up to help co-parent, but since Sith Purebloods age differently (i.e. they’re adults at ~20ish the same as humans, but after that they’re more like elves and their physical aging slows down, so they’re more long-lived), even though Ty’s very young by Pureblood standards, he’s still 60 years old, so he’s technically older than Lana and it’s kind of awkward for him to actually call her mom even if she kind of acts like one. He accidentally called her “mom” once, it was very awkward for both of them XD

What has been the most protective Lana has ever had of said kid?

I sat and scratched my head for ages trying to think of something to answer this question with, but I’m very sad to say that right now at the time of answering this meme, I don’t have any specific scenes planned out to tell you about! :( But rest assured that Lana absolutely would rush to help Ty if it was ever necessary :D

House pets? Is your Lana a dog person, or Cat person?

Funnily enough, they don’t actually have any pets! I’d like to think of Lana as more of a cat person than a dog person, in my personal opinion. But they have yet to get any pets of their own, maybeee later on, I dunno. Haven’t hit on any solid ideas for them yet, but I feel like if they happened upon a cute kitty they definitely could adopt one at some stage :’3

Do they get freaky on the Alliance Base or in the Shuttles?

They’ve done both, to be honest lol. Thankfully, Saarai’s sneaky enough that they haven’t gotten caught doing it, yet. Thank the Force.

Are their Sparring Matches Flirtatious? Hardcore?

They could go either way, it depends on what kind of mood they’re both in. If Lana’s particularly annoyed (usually not at Rai, but sometimes) then it’s more likely to be a hardcore spar, Rai’s a pretty tough cookie so she’ll often offer to be Lana’s punching bag in order to spare them some repair bills so she doesn’t rip apart the training dummies irrepairably, it’s okay, Rai can take it ;)

But if they’re both in an otherwise good mood and are just sparring for practise sakes, then yes, they often very quickly devolve into flirtacious banter and some of the classics, you know, “okay you win, you can let me go now” “mmm, nah” “I thought we were sparring” “do you want me to stop” “...don’t you dare.” etc. :’D

Class Specific things that play into their relationship?

Saarai’s a Juggernaut, and I headcanon Lana’s probably some sort of Sorcerer, so they tend to fight as such. They cover each other in more ways than one, if you want to get to Lana you have to go through Saarai first (and good luck to you, that woman can take and give a fucking beating lmao). Lana picks off whatever Saarai’s saber misses, usually with Force attacks but sometimes with her saber, too. Saarai takes bullets for Lana so Lana doesn’t have to get hurt. Lana yells at Rai for doing that and then fixes her up with Force healing afterwards, rinse and repeat. :’D

When they do argue, Lana tends to spontaneously manifest Force lightning, Saarai’s used to it and doesn’t bat an eyelid, she knows Lana’s not actually going to throw it at her and she’s more than prepared to dodge any stray bolts that do come her way.

Lana’s the tactician and the ground support, Saarai’s the battering ram/the bigass hammer used to clear space when Lana needs a bit of extra “oomph” (and trust me, they’re usually never far apart. The other one will be there and then you’ll be in trouble lmao)

Describe a time your OC went ‘Full beast mode’ to protect Lana, instead of the other way around?

"Kriff. Koth, what happened?” Three words was all it took, and everything made sense: “They hurt Lana.”

That scene in the Endless Swamps on Zakuul, just before they pull the Gravestone out of it and Lana and the Commander get ambushed. Saarai went with Lana & Koth to break Vano out of carbonite (since Saarai was still on Rishii at the time, she doesn’t get frozen, only Vano) so when they split up, Saarai goes with Koth to look for ship parts while Vano goes with Lana to look for water.

Lana and Vano get ambushed by the Knights/Skytroopers, and Lana’s hand gets busted. It takes Saarai and Koth a little while to rush over there to help them, but when they do

Saarai. Goes. Fucking. Feral. It’s the scariest she’s ever been in front of Lana and Lana will never forget it, they almost didn’t really need Senya’s help for that part, Saarai basically had it covered. I imagine Lana later described it as “kind of hot, but also kind of terrifying, actually”

Saarai’s considered Chaotic Good, so generally speaking if there’s a peaceful, non-violent solution to a problem, she’ll opt for that, but she has a few buttons that you just do not want to push, ever. Does Lana get jealous in your headcanon?

Not really! In Subterfugeverse, both Rai and Lana are polyam, so generally speaking, jealousy isn’t a problem for them, and when it is it’s more of a case of “hey. Hey. Hey, I’m not getting enough attention, pay attention to me.” and then it’s usually dealt with and all is well ;)

When Lana meets Anri, the only thing Saarai does is tease her about “when she’s going to make the move”. 😜

I haven’t gotten very far into planning the SoR onwards+ segments of Subterfugeverse, just bits and bobs like this, but I’d say for now the most prominent is probably their first meeting on Rishii. Basically, meet-cute but with a lightsaber involved too hahaha. There was a lot of posturing and flirty subtext right from the get-go with these two, even if Saarai was particularly suspicious at first (see the earlier question about her being technically dead to the Empire). At first, when she noticed Lana tailing Ty (because Lana was extremely confused about why a Pureblood was so far from Sith space ;)), Saarai assumed that something had happened to her twin and the Empire had A) found out she and Ty were still alive and B) Sent Lana to track them down and kill them for good. Several tension-loaded hours later and Lana managed to convince Rai that actually, Ni’kasi was fine and speaking of, she was trying to avoid being killed too so maybe, actually, they could help each other. And that was all she wrote <3

obviously v released so many iconic pieces this year but this series was just *chef’s kiss* coffee shop au’s are the cutest to me because you can do so many different things with them, and you truly showcased that through each members’ part. although i am nahyuck biased (out of all the 00 liners), i have a soft spot for jeno’s part 🥺🤧 but that doesn’t mean i’m not obsessed with jealous jaems and cocky hyuck 🙈

the very first work i ever read of yours, joyce 🥺🥺 i remember seeing an nct network reblog this and after reading through the summary of the series, i was enticed by the plot and i read most of your masterlist whilst waiting for the next parts 🤧 the main character’s relationship with each ‘j’ was unique to them and their interactions were just so sweet to read (except jaemin’s >:( why did my ult’s part have to be the angsty one 😤 jk jk i loved it anyways) special mention to ‘cupid’s arrow’, because that fic was an emotional rollercoaster and i loved that almost as much as i love bestfriend!jungwoo in the last part 😌

it would be a sin if i didn’t include this in my top reads this year, pun intended 😌, especially since i have a weakness for mafia aus. i haven’t had the time to read mark or renjun’s parts yet, but from what i read in this fic, i’m sure theirs are just as good, if not better. the storybuilding and the development of the plot are so detailed and intricate and that is what i love in a fic. i already reviewed this on my main with a lengthy description of my favourite parts so i’m gonna keep this short and sweet - if you love haechan, mafia au’s, and enemies to lovers, you need to read this !!

@jensungf - passing clouds + only forever

these fics hit different now that i bias jisung 😭 ‘passing clouds’ was pure angst and as much as it hurt, it was written so beautifully and i loved it so much. ‘only forever’ healed the jisung shaped hole in my heart and made me fall in love with him all over again. the first love vibes he gives off is unbelievable and that innocence was presented perfectly in this 🤧 side note: never let jisung bake for you even if it’s as a peace offering 😖

although ‘sweet talk’ and ‘silent treatment’ are also contenders for some of my favourite fics of the year, these two have taken the cake 😌 the concept itself of time travel and mark and y/n seeing their future child was so creative and the mixed emotions that the characters experienced seeing their future were executed so well and the ending when their actual future selves remembered the day they time travelled 🥺🥺 not to mention the sequel doesn’t feel forced at all, the story flows well, and jealous mark is a cutie 🥰

i’ve been following cat after i first read ‘i turned my best friend into an e-boy!! (and kissed him)’ and ever since then every piece of hers that i’ve read is simply breathtaking and so engaging. her style of writing is so unique and whenever i read anything of hers i feel so immersed in the fic. the dreamies as youtubers and tiktokers was such a cute concept to me and the little comment section at the end of each fic is probably my favourite part 😳 the way each member’s fic connects to the plot of another is perfect and their cameos in one another’s fic >>> (jisung telling y/n about the tiktok challenge in mark’s fic + cameraman jisung in chenle’s) i could keep talking abt this series for a lot longer but i’ll end it here, also i can’t wait for norensung’s parts 💞💞

i’ve probably mentioned my love for ‘the umbrella academy’ before but THIS !!! this series just made me love it even more 🙈 despite yangyang’s part being the only one that’s out, that and the prologue are interesting enough and seeing the 00 liners in this alternate universe is honestly amazing jxjwjxkw jaemin as three and hyuck as two is everything. the brothers’ relationship, especially in yangyang’s part, is so complicated yet so cute and i can’t wait for the rest of the members’ parts 💘

when i first stumbled across this series, i was immediately intrigued by the plot, and not just because it was about rapper!mark and singer!y/n🧑‍🦯🧑‍🦯 the side characters (dreamies + doie and jisoo) were so funny and well-written and the plot >>>> i was so invested in the twists and turns of the story, the relief i felt when the conflict was finally resolved and we got our fav musician couple !!

one of the most popular blurbs on my blog to this day 🥺 honestly i get why, who doesn’t love dad!johnny? hyejoo is literally so adorable here and the family dynamics make me soft all over again whenever i reread this piece. also everyone’s reactions and replies to this are so heartwarming because everyone’s just whipped for the suh family 🙈

i love soulmate au’s but something always irked me with the permanence of your soulmate like ,,, what if you end up falling out of love with them? then what? that inspired me to write my own take on soulmates, where they aren’t found, but made. taeyong’s character here is just so full of love and you know how much i love lovable boys 🤧 (ever wondered why i ult na jaemin...?)

7dream!!!! i don’t usually write domestic fluff even though it’s one of the genres i indulge in the most 😔 but when i do, i go all out because everyone needs to know how soft i am for my boys >:( mark’s love for the dreamies is so unique and i love their friendship so much, i had to write about it when i first heard about the 7dream announcement which i definitely did not cry at
