Sims and Sensibility: A Mini BC

This one goes out to all those period drama loving people like myself. I will be taking 5 Sims only, you are free to reserve a spot, for a mini dramatic bc. I will be using mods but every interaction is gameplay based and each Sim chosen will end up with a respective partner. There's going to be love, drama, and everything in between.

Catherine (Cat) has been sent to live in Henford for the cold season with her two closest siblings Marianne and Dominic.

1 bachelor/bachelorette, aka any gender and sexuality

Human Sims only!!

Entry Sim can be with a family, but only one Sim is needed for the BC

Maxis match hair ONLY, any other cc is fine (I'm Maxis Mix)

No sliders, presets are ok but might look distorted, and eyes either need to be facepaint or in the skin detail/occult eye (NSB has some eyes in that category!)

1-2 everyday outfits, 1-2 formal (one town ball, other big fancy ball), 1-2 cold outfits only are needed

3-5 traits (cc traits are fine) included with one negative trait for added *drama*

A detailed backstory with likes/dislikes, personality, desires, etc. Please also include if the Sims' family is rich/poor/etc

Does your sim need to get away from it all? Are they maybe trying to get over their failed marriage (like our main man here), or forget a relationship that shouldn't have happened? Maybe they're running from their tragic past, or seeking a cleansing experience to cure their raging alcoholism! Or maybe they just hecking love nature, or need a way to finish their frog collections in an organized environment. Whatever the reason, BACKPACKING ACROSS SIMNATION promises to bring together total strangers in rudimentary accommodations, where we all are forced to face the harsh yet freeing simplicity of camping.

MAX 7 PARTICIPANTS 🏕️ 🧭 No eliminations, we're all in this 'til the end 🧭 Romantic goal not guaranteed nor required, the challenge will go with the flow! Main focus on storytelling and building relationships and experiences!

• any gender, young adult, adult or elder • human only • rich backstory encouraged, family members/pets/household also welcome (they won't be part of the challenge, but they're free to roam to world) • can have skills, any level you want • please add likes and dislikes as much as you want • no alpha hair, clothes can be maxis mix • can have multiple outfits per category, but keep in mind that we're camping in the wilderness!

I use Wicked Whims, Lumpinou's Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul Collection, Basemental drugs, so sim can have traits and other features based on them. (Such as wicked attributes, thoughts on kids etc.) Sliders and presets are fine! I have my own defaults so please don't include any override cc though!

Welcome to my First Bachelor Challenge

After his first run as a contestant on The Bachelorette, Abraham is back as the Bachelor on his journey for love continues! It's been 2 years since then and not much in his life has changed. He's a model for Plume Magazine and lives in Sulani with his fellow models. Before he became a model, he was a fisherman along with his father and older brother to keep up the family fishing business while his mother and younger sister run the shop.

"I'm looking for someone to challenge me and to share life with. I would hope they wouldn’t mind me being gone for a week or two at a time for modeling jobs for the time being if they weren't able to come along. Later on though in life, if my looks fail me since they likely aren’t forever, I would like to do things like travel together and maybe explore the lands of Salvadorada or climb Mt. Komorebi. He enjoys fishing and free diving. They relax him and he feels more at one with nature. Sometimes, he'll play with the dolphins and catch some extra fish to feed them. Sometimes, sharks too, but he knows he needs to do it rarely to avoid attacks

He's the middle child and since he's always been busy fishing with his father and older brother, usually the cooking is left up to his mother and younger sister so he doesn't have much experience in the kitchen. He's always willing to learn

He can occasionally get a bit reckless on his adventures and may need someone who can reel him back in

Even though he's all about his adventures, this island boy knows how to relax and take it slow too

Write up a background for your sim and share some details! I love hearing about other's characters and it helps give an idea of who they are

Please include some information about their fashion style so I can give extra/situational outfits as needed that are in character

Give your sim some likes and dislikes

They are free to have skills leveled up but to level 5 max (unless it makes sense for it to be higher due to their background)

I don't care what traits or aspirations are, just no romantic trait/aspirations or alluring/beguiling trait. Feel free to even throw in some negative traits if you'd like

No occults will be accepted to keep things simpler now that there's a few occults in the game. I only have aliens, vampires, and mermaids so I'd feel bad to exclude spellcasters and werewolves

When making your sim, please keep in mind my list below of packs I have/don't have (see below the cut)

CC is accepted. If you've seen my sims, I play maxis match/mix and with some alpha thrown in. So I don't really care what style of sims are in, but I would say just not super heavily alpha sims. I do encourage skin overlays (skin details)

No default eyes/eye colors/replacements. I don't like base game eyes either so please use facepaint eyes or I can always choose some that match your sim.

Please choose 1 outfit for each category, keeping in mind which packs I don't have.

If chosen, I will message you for the files. Please include all cc and tray files for that sim

Tag me in your post and use the tag #Naka's Bachelor Challenge so I can see your entries (they will be liked by my main blog)

Mal is 25 years old and had always lived in Willow Creek until she moved out as as a Young Adult to San Myshuno to start her ‘city girl’ life. Emphasis on the quotation marks because, despite her fashion sense, the only thing Mallory really wants in life is to have a loving partner and happy ending. She literally cannot handle heartbreak (see: her first boyfriend in high school and the first girlfriend she had in the city).

@moocha-muses has such a fun bachelorette challenge going, and even though I'm running my medieval hood right now, I want to make a Sim for it!

Sidney's a Popularity sim, a Libra, and an alternative/historical fashion nerd. He's transmasc (he/they) and bi. Personality points and TNTs under the cut.

His lifetime want is to Own Five Top-Level Businesses - he's got a moderately successful costume shop, but he'd like to set up his shingle as a shoemaker. And as a haberdasher. And as a corsetier, and an armoursmith, and and and you get the idea. The boy's full of grand plans that he flits from, second to second. He also flits from fashion style to fashion style- he's most fond of wa lolita right now, but he's just as likely to show up in a doublet and cape or in a Regency suit.

Sidney's Absent-Minded, Artistic, Nurturing, a Cat Person, and a Natural-Born Salesman. If there was a Manic Pixie Dream Boy trait, he'd be that too.

He really admires that Lorelei wants to become a social worker- he spent a little bit of time in foster care after his single mom was arrested for a crime she didn't commit. Everything worked out in the end, but he's seen how bad things can get and he admires anyone who wants to make them better. He also enjoys cats, coffee, and good music, and it seems like their tastes line up.

Faint heart never won fair lady, and Sidney has never had a faint heart!

About 18 months ago I started a Bachelor Challenge, but do to life circumstances I was unable to finish posting it. Everything, but the final scenes had been shot - I just didn't have the time to sit down and fuss with uploading (the internet at my last place was that bad and did not get along with tumblr). I remain entirely in love with Hadrian and his suitors so it wasn't so much a matter of if I would finish posting it, but when. So starting tonight I will begin posting what remained of the challenge in hopes that I can finish shooting the finale when I have some free time over the holidays.

The posts will be slightly more abbreviated then they were the first time. The unfortunate reality of the situation is while I have the pictures I can't necessarily remember all the antics.

I do, however, know the most important detail still - who won.
