🐴Once Upon A Time In Chestnut Ridge: A Bachelor Challenge

Meet Dakota Blue Heron, Chestnut Ridge's most eligible bachelor!

Dakota is 29, stands 6'3 tall, living on Crow's Head ranch, primarily a horse ranch that is open for guests in the spring and summer months. The ranch is owned and operated by the Heron family, being passed down through generations for over a century. Kindly, Dakota's parents have allowed the ranch to be used this season, in hopes that the show's popularity will help bring in more guests and customers.

Dakota accepted the network's offer to be Bachelor in hopes of finding a life partner, having little time to meet new people in his regular life. Also because, in his words, "this seems fun!"

Here's a few things he wants potential contestants to know about him: he spends his days working in various different parts of the ranch (in the horse stalls and gardens especially), he grows most of his food and whatever he doesn't grow he sources from local and ethical producers, he loves being surrounded by people (especially those he holds dearly), occasionally hunts (deer and invasive species mostly). He speaks navajo, navajo sign language, english and spanish, and is a tribal member of the navajo nation. Dakota wants kids and is looking for a partner with similar desires to start a family.

Brock grew up in the dry ass but GORGEOUS hills of chestnut ridge. While ranching is his passion in life and it wouldve been pretty easy for him to settle into a what his parents/friends/anyone he came in close contact with normal life..and that he did for awhile..until him and his longtime girlfriend broke up. So Adam is part of my playthrough of the Such Colorful Lives Legacy Challenge (gen grey) He's still a teen in my game, I moved him to another save and aged him up for this BC and by challenge rules he must have 3 partners in his life, so the last 3 sims standing will fulfill those roles. The sim in 3rd place will be aged down to a teen and be his high school sweetheart, the 2nd place will enroll in the same uni as him and they'll have a relationship then and 1st place will meet him again after uni and they'll be together the rest of their lives.

I am uncertain of how to start this letter. So I'll simply begin with my recent feelings. I am very grateful for the love I've received from my parents. I would have spent my whole life trying to repay them somehow, but fate had its own plans. My name is Fable Flickwick. Growing up, I was a sickly child. I would have never expected at the age of 9 to be adopted by two of the most lovely people you would have ever met. They loved me despite my fragile nature, and their help and encouragement probably saved my life more times than I would like to admit. With their sudden passing, I find myself more lonely than I ever thought possible. I'm doing my best to keep my mother's antique shop afloat, as I love that old shop. But I've been feeling doubtful of my capabilities to do so on my own. I didn't realize how physically taxing the job would be. I'm rambling, I know. That's enough of my story of woe, I suppose... What else should I say? I am 24. My favorite pass time is photography. I had originally intended to make it a career, but I was always too busy helping mom at the shop to take it seriously. I am healthier than I was as a child, so don't worry about that! I can at least take care of myself despite my appearance... After his first run as a contestant on The Bachelorette, Abraham is back as the Bachelor on his journey for love continues! It's been 2 years since then and not much in his life has changed. He's a model for Plume Magazine and lives in Sulani with his fellow models. Before he became a model, he was a fisherman along with his father and older brother to keep up the family fishing business while his mother and younger sister run the shop.

CC is accepted. If you've seen my sims, I play maxis match/mix and with some alpha thrown in. So I don't really care what style of sims are in, but I would say just not super heavily alpha sims. I do encourage skin overlays (skin details)

No default eyes/eye colors/replacements. I don't like base game eyes either so please use facepaint eyes or I can always choose some that match your sim.

Traits and Aspiration: Overachiever, socially awkward, Gloomy, & Country caretaker

◊ Young Maxwell was the promising Golden star of Henford-on-Bagley as he entered the boxing world at the early age of 13. Everyone put their faith in him. In principle, these expectations bloated his ego, making all his family proud and offering the lonely and only child of the Santiago family a chance to be somebody. He was no longer the good-for-nothing kid in class. Nor the town's dwarf (small and hairy) boy. 

◊ The accidental display of strength working on the family farm seen by a headhunter could be helpful in the real world outside shearing llamas, carrying water buckets, and chasing and dodging foxes.

◊ Despite this good fortune for re-establishing those labels, Maxwell still found himself taking care of the farm animals late at night rather than socializing with other boxing enthusiasts after practice. 

◊ Inadvertently, he found his real passion.

◊ The years went on and all the awards started losing their luster. Championships mattered less and less, and even though Maxwell was one of the best, he walked away from the boxing world and still denies he was in his prime when he left.

«I could have lost any time, I left with my record unbeaten. Thirty wins, two ties, and no losses. My pride would have been severely damaged» answers whenever asked.

◊ But that smirk at the corner of his mouth tells a different story. 

◊ He bought himself a lot and cultivated a beautiful farm. Around his 30s, in the middle of his meditations, watching little ducks follow their mama, the image of having his own family struck him.

◊ Much like his farm, he managed to raise his son by himself, even if it was after long battles with the adoption center. But he passed away at the age of 10: A strange and unexpected case of pufferfish poison. Maxwell, of course, put the blame on his shoulders.

◊ Now, the rooster's cry, a glass of sheep's milk, and listening to the news on his pop’s radio have calmed his mind a little. At 49, Santiago's life is good and he is at peace… most of the time.

◊ He heard the announcement of Kiss Me in Mt. Komorebi on the radio. Putting his heart out there again, risking it to be hurt is way scarier than standing in the ring with the gloves up. 

◊ Despite his trembling hands, he filled out the form and submitted his application.

“I like this fella. I'm going for him”.
