Can't Fix Him
Eddie Munson x Reader (fem)
Tumblr media
Inspired by the prompt: 'I can't fix him but I can fuck him'
Fluff, smut, etc
The music was loud. You could feel the vibrations of the base coursing through your body before you had even entered the house. Tina's annual Halloween party was known for being the biggest and best thing in town on this night. She was lucky that her uncle worked in the mayor's office and had connections within the police department, otherwise you were sure the party would've been shut down from noise complaints. It was also a good thing that her lavish house was situated at the end of a sprawling drive, so as to keep the drunk teenagers away from the rest of the roaming children in the streets.
Coming to the front door, your friends didn't bother knocking on the door as it would have been pointless. Walking inside you were immediately hit with the abrasive smell of weed and alcohol in the air. You weren't shocked by the presence of either, but you were surprised at how despite the open back doors how strong the smell remained.
The four of you had your way over to the punch, where you each filled your cup and took a swig of the mystery liquid. A familiar burning flowed down your throat and warmth filled your stomach. It was just what you wanted on a cool night as this and especially after a brutal week at school.
"I'm going to see if I can find Simon" one of your friends declared, venturing off into the crowd to find the boy she had been seeing but refused to say it was officially considered dating
That left the three of you and soon the other two headed off to the bathroom together leaving you on your lonesome. You didn't mind it though, gave you a moment to survey the crowd and gather who was there. In the centre of it all were couples pressed against each other dancing along to the music, while their bodies became sweatier and sweatier.
Having the urge for a cigarette, you decided to do the right thing by Tina and headed out back for a smoke. Winding your way through the people filling the house, you managed to find a chair near the back of the house that wasn't too crowded. You could hear the chanting in the distance and someone was obviously winning some sort of drinking game and you made a mental note to head over that way afterwards to see what all the fuss was about.
Sitting down you began rummaging in your pocket for you pack of smokes and lighter.
"Fuck," you muttered under your breath as you realised you had left your lighter in your bag at home
You sat there for a moment, disgruntled in the situation as the unlit cigarette hung from your lips sadly.
"Need some help there?" a voice behind you asked and you spun around to face who had spoken
From the shrouded darkness a few feet in front of you they stepped out like some sort of supervillain and into the light. They had something else between their lips but you could tell from the smell that it wasn't tobacco.
"What's Eddie Munson doing at Tina's party?" you asked smugly He chuckled at your question "How else are those basketball idiots meant to get high?" he retorted "Touché" you said, "can I get that light then?" you asked, gesturing to the still unlit cigarette "What do I get if I do?" Eddie sarcastically questioned back "You get to say for the first time that you made a girls night" you shot back
Leaning forward, he slowly extended his arm and used his lighter to light your cigarette. It was in that moment, as Eddie 'The Freak' Munson was so close to you, with only the dim light from the distance and his lighter that you noticed how handsome he actually was. Hidden underneath the bravado and mane of hair, was an attractive face.
"Definitely not the first time a girl has told me that" he cockily remarked, pulling away
The two of you remained there, content in the silence as he worked his way through the joint and you the cigarette.
"So I know why you came in the first place, but why have you stayed then?" you asked him, though he seemed confused by your question "I mean, I doubt anyone here is exactly welcoming to you" you tried to put in the best possible way, without outright saying that people hated him and thought he was a total freak "Well they're smoking my weed, I may as well drink their booze" "I mean, technically I think it's Rick's weed," you said, shooting him a knowing look "You got me there y/n" he replied and you were surprised he knew your name
You weren't sure how much time had passed, but as you came to the butt of your smoke, you dropped it to the ground and used the tip if your boot to stamp it out. Standing up you looked back to where a crowd was formed on the back lawn and noticed your friends at the edge keeping a watchful eye on you.
"Thanks for the light Munson," you said "Any time y/l/n" Eddie said as you walked away
It took you all of five seconds to walk across the lawn and back into the music and heat of everyone.
"Were you just talking to Eddie Munson?" your friends collectively asked as you rejoined the group "Yeah," you replied nonchalantly "and?" "He's such a freak though" Melanie remarked "He wasn't that bad, you know up close he's actually pretty good looking" "Actually if you look at old photos y/n's not wrong" Andrea chimed in "Yeah, just give it all a bit of a trim and fix him up a bit…" Taylor added "he mightn't be all that bad" "I mightn't be able to fix him in a night…" you began, thinking about what you were about to say next "but I might be able to fuck him"
The three of them let out a shocked gasp at your declaration. Each of you had your own conquests, but your interest in Eddie went against your usual type.
"Oh my god y/n, you can't be serious?" Andrea said Taylor laughed before she spoke "I think it's iconic really, you have to" "And then immediately tell us" Melanie added "I think I'm just tipsy enough that this seems like a good idea" you declared to your friends
You appreciated that they didn't judge you or run off to gossip about your idea. You gave them all a quick goodbye and brief hug before making you way back over to the edge of the house where you'd last seem Eddie.
He wasn't where you had left him all of five minutes ago, so you walked down the side of the house to see if he had made his way to the front. You stood there for a moment, clearly out of place standing by yourself looking around for him. You knew if it took you long enough to find him, you'd lose your confidence and back out of the impulsive decision you were making.
That's when a van pulled up in front of you and the window rolled down to reveal just the guy you'd been looking for.
"You alright?" he asked, seemingly with genuine concern "Feel like giving me a ride?" you softly asked "Sure," he said "jump in"
Getting inside the van you were grateful to see that it was far cleaner inside than expected. Hopping into the passenger seat you began giving Eddie vague directions towards your house, with little intention of actually taking him there. Driving along the bare backroads you began fiddling with your necklace, when you felt the clasp open and it slip from your neck.
"Oh shit," you muttered leaning forward, trying to locate it in the darkness "You right?" Eddie asked, still driving and keeping his eyes on the road "I just dropped my necklace…" you said "do you have a flashlight or something back there that I could use to find it?" "Umm…" he seemed to trail off in thought, trying to go through the van's inventory "there should be one, let me just pull over and check"
Stopping in a spot just off the road, he turned and looked haphazardly behind him for the flashlight, but with no success. Huffing, you undid your seatbelt and climbed over into the back to look for it. Although you were genuinely trying to locate it, you became more aware that Eddie was getting a nice view of your ass as your remained bent over in the back looking for the light.
"I have no clue where this thing is," you declared "can you help me?" "Oh um, yeah, sure…" he replied, "just give me a second"
You heard the ignition turn off and the van move as he climbed over the back to where you were. The two of you continued to look for a few more seconds until you sighed and turned around in supposed defeat.
"It might be a lost cause" you said, adjusting your seat and coincidentally moving closer to where Eddie was "I think so…" he replied, seemingly doing the same movement as you "so…" he awkwardly said, as if to avoid the silence "So what?" you innocently said, looking up at him with flirtatious eyes
You both sat there for a moment, leaning ever so slightly closer to the other, unsure who was going to make the first move. You slowly moved your hand from the floor of the van and along his denim covered thigh. He let out a slight moan at the action which signaled to you that he was happy with your decision.
Continuing the movement of your curious fingers, you grazed them up his firm chest and towards the back of his neck. You carefully ran your fingers through his curls and finally settled on his cheek.
"You're going to need to stop doing that" he gruffly said, shooting you a knowing look "Stop what?" you said with a wide-eyed innocence as if you truly didn't know what you were doing to him "you mean this?" you remarked, moving your other hand up and pausing at the cold clasp of his belt buckle "you want me to stop then?" "Well not know" he said
From there few words were spoken. Eddie wrapped his rough hand around the back of your neck and pulled you into him. His lips were soft and welcoming as he kissed you. You moved with him as he kissed you deeper and held you closer. Moving his hand into your hair he grasped the base of your hair tightly, causing you to let out a soft moan, seeing his chance he gently bit down on your bottom lip and slowly moved his mouth down your neck.
You needed to better position yourself, so you placed your hand flat against his chest and pulled back for a moment. He seemed surprised as you lifted your leg over him and proceeded to straddle him. This time you took charge, peppering kisses along his jaw and down his neck towards his exposed nape. Moving back up you lightly nipped his earlobe making him needily groan.
You could feel his fingers playing with the hem of your shirt, and you helped him by pulling it off swiftly. His eyes expanded as he came face to face with your boobs within a bright red lace bra.
"Oh my god you're so gorgeous" he said, cupping your breasts and squeezing them slightly making you grin "This needs to come off now" you informed him referring to his shirt, which is quickly obliged
He didn't waste long removing your bra and throwing it across the van. He brought his lips to your nipples and ran his tongue around them, making you throw your head back in pleasure. Eddie continued this for a bit longer and you anticipated a hickey in the morning.
"My turn" you told him, pushing him down onto his back
He lay there still, as you inched slowly further down. Teasing him, you took your time with his belt, making his squirm as you could already see how hard he was underneath the constraints of the denim. Finally allowing him free, you pulled down his trousers and boxers with them to reveal his impressive length.
He was longer and girthier than you had anticipated, not insanely big but big enough to make you audibly gasp. Running your hand over it, you smirked as he let out a soft moan at your movements. Seductively looking up at him, you made eye contact as you ran your tongue from the base to the tip of his cock. You could feel him throbbing and he couldn't stop letting out moans of pleasure as you continued to wrap your mouth around him.
"Holy shit y/n, just like that" he gasped as you felt him hit the back of your throat and he grabbed ahold of your head and pushed you down further causing you to gag.
Coming back up for air, he looked at you with pure sex in his eyes and leant down, placing a soft kiss to your lips.
"Think it's your turn now," he whispered into your ear and suddenly flipped you over, so now he was on top of you
He pulled your own jeans down quickly and practically ripped your panties off when he came to them. You could feel that you were already wet at that thought of him and shuddered as he ran his fingers over your clit.
"You're so wet" he chuckled, slowly moving his fingers around, slipping one between your folds "Just for you" you muttered, eyes closed, enjoying the feeling of him touching you You felt his hot breath against your ear as he said "what do you want me to do to you?"
His words made you squirm.
"I want you to fuck me until I can't walk" you said without even thinking "Oh that was a given sweetheart" was all he said before going down on you
His tongue moved with expertise. You'd never had someone move the way he did. Flicking his tongue over your clit he inserted two fingers inside of you and moved them in just the right way. Arching your back he pinned you down, preventing you from moving away from his mouth. It came over you before you could even realise and your body shook with pleasure against his tongue and around his fingers.
"I need you inside of me" you said, desperate to feel him
You could hear him rustling around for a moment and then come back to you, quickly putting a condom on. You were glad that he had come prepared because in the heat of it all you had completely forgot.
You gasped in pleasure as you felt him press the tip of his cock against your opening. You gripped his bare back and ran your nails down it. He held there for a second and then thrusted the rest of his length within you. You couldn't help but let out a cry as he filled you up completely.
"Are you ok?" he immediately asked upon hearing you "Yes!" you exclaimed, overcome with pleasure "keep going"
He began to thrust in and out of you, making you shuddering beneath him. As he moved you rotated your hips with him, causing him to moan as well. You stayed like that for a while, consumed within each other until his pace began to slow.
"Are you going to cum for me?" you asked, wanting him to say yes "I'm so close" he breathily said against your lips as he pulled you back in "Good" you said
He get pumping into you and suddenly quickened again, slamming into you making your walls tighten. Your breath began to shorten and you dug your fingers into his back again, as his breaths faltered too and you felt yourself approaching the edge once again. Eddie let out a few final moans and you felt yourself contract around him as you came simultaneously.
"Fuck" he gasped as he finally came and collapsed in exhaustion next to you "Wow" was all you said, staring up in disbelief at the ceiling of the van
You half expected him to get straight up and drive you home, but he rolled onto his side and pulled you towards him once again. Kissing you this time it felt less desperate and hungry, more sincere and soft.
"Is that how you expected tonight to go?" you asked, chuckling lightly "Let's just say I didn't think offering a light to y/n y/l/n would end up with me having the best sex of my life in the back of my van" he declared "Damn," you remarked "best sex of your life eh? Think I deserve a medal or something for that" "Trust me," Eddie said, wrapping his hand around the back of your neck once more "you can ask for more than just that"

Boy Next Door
Steve Harrington X Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Steve lives next door and each night he sneaks into your room but you aren't ready to admit how you feel.
General fluff, mentions of sex, no trigger warnings
Your house was situated next door to the Harrington's and you'd lived there forever. Despite living in a very nice part of Hawkins your house was definitely the worst on the block, compared to those on either side, yours looked slightly out of place. Whilst most had pools, formal dining rooms and enough garage spaces for at least four cars, yours didn't even have space in the garden for a pool, let alone a garage. But that didn't bother you, home was a comforting place for you, although your parents weren't exactly home a whole lot, when they were there were family dinners around the table and constant talk.
When you had been younger you had resented that your parents had to work so much, but now you understood why and since your two older siblings had left for college already, you basically had a house to yourself. Although most teenagers would've used this to have some parties, it meant you could watch whatever television program you wanted and go to bed when you pleased. More importantly though it meant that any late night guests wouldn't be questioned.
Living next door to the Harrington's definitely had meant many things for your family, but one you hadn't anticipated was the lonely Steve Harrington coming over every night to see you. He'd been doing it since you two were in middle school. His parents were also usually working, but for them it was in the city or another state and they generally left without much notice or care for their child. You hadn't really thought about how in a house that big with everything a kid could want that Steve would be lonely and desperately so.
Your bedroom window coincidently looked directly into Steve's room and one night when you should've been sleeping you had gotten up for a glass of water and when making it back to the warmth of your comforter, you made eye contact with him. You had both stood there for a moment, seemingly unsure as what to do next when realisation that you were staring at the most popular boy in school came over you and you dashed away from the window.
The next day at school you were grateful not to see Steve and have to give an awkward explanation regarding their night time encounter because you weren't even sure what you would have said. Though to your surprise later that night as you went to bed once again you met eyes with the lonely Harrington in his window as he looked over at you. This strange nightly tradition continued until the end of the week when instead of seeing his eyes from a distance, you were shocked to come face to face with Steve right outside.
He mouthed something at you and gestured for you to open your window as he clung to the window sill, that you presumed he had scaled.
"What are you doing?" you exclaimed, quickly lowering your voice as he clambered in
Tumbling to the carpeted floor he sat up in a huff "Thought I'd come by" he said nonchalantly as if this was something he did all the time
You stood frozen in place for a moment, confused if this was really happening. Not only was a boy in your room but someone who you'd only every spoken to in polite passing and rarely even made eye-contact with at school.
"Why are you in my room?" you questioned him again
"You let me in" was all he said
"Steve" you firmed said to try and get a legitimate response from him
This became a nightly tradition for the two of you. After a shower and getting ready for bed, Steve would show up at your window and you'd let him in. In the beginning he'd simply sit at your desk and doodle with your stuff, but as time went on the two of you starting actually talking and you realised you actually really enjoyed his company. You'd gone over to his house a few times when people had been home at yours, but he preferred your house.
Despite efforts though he never really offered an actual reason as to why he'd snuck into your room that first night. Though it wasn't hard for you to deduct that he didn't like being home by himself and was lonely, potentially even scared of the vacant home apart from his own presence.
You weren't sure if your siblings knew what was happening while they had still been at home, though they never brought it up and your parents were either in a coma-like sleep or working a night shift.
One thing you never questioned however was that despite the intimate friendship the two of you had, why Steve never spoke to you when at school. You weren't popular so you assumed he just probably didn't want to try and explain to his friends why he'd be taking to someone like you. But you also enjoyed when you two were together and didn't want to ruin it by asking.
"I'm assuming you haven't studied for Mrs Connors history test that's on Friday" you asked over your shoulder
"Oh you know me so well y/n" Steve chuckled as he lay on your bed flipping through one of your magazines
"I'll give you a copy of my notes" you said as you continued to take notes
"You're too good to me"
"I know"
You continued to work through the syllabus some more, when you looked at your watch and noted it was nearly midnight.
"I need to go to sleep soon" you declared, turning around to properly look at Steve
"Ok" was all he said, continuing to read whatever article he was up to in the magazine "do women really wear these?" turning the page to you it was an article on how best to wear a thong
"Why are you reading that?" you rolled your eyes
"Just trying to stay educated"
"Oh yeah cause you wear thongs all the time" you laughed
"One of us has to" he quipped back
"How do you know I don't?" you said before processing your words, which made Steve very quickly put down the magazine
"Girls wear thongs y/n" was all he said
"Well last time I checked I'm a girl"
"You know what I mean… like a girl girl" he said trying to make his words make sense
"Yeah ok" you bluntly replied walking to the window "time for you to go"
"Aw fine" he whined and gave you a hug before leaping off the edge
Although he was now practiced in jumping out of your window, it still worried you every time he did it. You waved to him as jumped your fence and dashed across his perfectly manicured lawn and around the to the unlocked back door of his own house.
Later that week you were surprised to hear the familiar tapping on your window as it was a Friday night. Usually Steve would've been out at a party, he was never usually home.
"Why aren't you at Tommy's?" you asked as you pulled open your window
He climbed through "I need to ask you a serious question" he said ignoring your words
"What?"
"How do you get a girl to like you?" he seemed genuine in his question which was odd
The two of you proceeded to have a conversation about how he was desperate to get Nancy Wheeler to fall in love with him. You were confused because he'd never shown any interest in her until now, but you pushed that aside and gave him your best advice.
"Just show interest in the things she likes" you started, "ask her questions about herself and make sure you're looking at her…" adjusting slightly you moved away from Steve as you two were sitting side by side on your bed "girls like it when you show interest"
You two regularly talked about the girls Steve had hooked up with, but this time felt different and you didn't like that. You had never thought of Steve in any other way than just a friend but as you kept giving him advice on how to get Nancy you couldn't help but feel the unfamiliar feeling of jealousy brewing… and you didn't like it.
"You're incredible y/n!" Steve exclaimed cupping your face with his soft hands "I love you!" he said pressing a brief kiss to your forehead and leaping up
The moment was brief but you felt butterflies in your stomach from his unexpected touch. Before realising it, you had lifted your hand and gingerly touched your head where his lips had just been. You were glad that Steve had been too caught up in his thoughts to noticed your actions, as you quickly put your hand back down to your side.
"I've got to go then," he told you, moving back over to the window "I invited Nancy to Tommy's party and hadn't thought of what to do next"
And with that he was gone just as fast as he had come.
You were used to not being anyone's first choice, or their second or even their third or tenth. It hadn't really ever bothered you, but for some reason it now did. Steve was your only real friend, while you had friends as school they were just people you sat with during lunch and next to in class, you never had deep conversations. But with Steve you did.
You knew about how his father treated him, how he cried when he accidentally hit a bird when driving or how he preferred the company of strangers to his own thoughts. And vice versa. He knew of your fears, how you were scared to let your family down by being a burden or when your siblings left you knew they wouldn't be coming back.
This new feeling wasn't welcomed. You didn't like thinking of Steve other than a friend or how his clear interest in Nancy bothered you somehow. So you pushed it down and did your best to ignore it.
Over the next few weeks Steve came over less and less. You'd wait for him until late but then he eventually just stopped showing up at all. It hurt.
In class you found your thoughts drifting and tuning out from what the teachers were saying, you just didn't care. That was why you guessed that when a blue car with California plates showed up one morning you took interest.
Billy Hargrove wasn't like Steve. If anything he was the opposite and that's what you liked. You had always been the girl that people hadn't seen and guys hadn't considered and now the guy that all the girls wanted was looking your way.
You knew it was dumb and that you probably shouldn't have done it but you played along with Billy's interest. He was strong, controlling and knew what he wanted, which was something you weren't used to. It was different and exciting and new.
You and Billy weren't dating but it was obvious to people at school that you two were sleeping together. He'd be seen hanging near your locker and would drop you to and from school each day, usually with you wearing the same clothes as the day before.
It was a strange feeling that you were just floating through life and no one seemed to notice or care. You guessed that was why you enjoyed the company of Billy, you'd replaced the emotional connection you'd had with Steve with that of a physical one with Billy. It was solely just sex between you two, but in that moment it was intimate and you were happily close with someone.
It was fourth period and you had a study break, so you were walking out the front of the main building, with the intention of just sitting on the bleachers in the sun or the time. Concentrating on balancing the books in your arms, you gasped as someone grabbed your arm and pulled you down the side of the building.
It took you a second to process what was happening and then once your eyes focused you were shocked to see Steve in front of you.
"Steve? What the hell?" you exclaimed, going to turn to leave
"Y/n stop" he firmly said, grabbing a hold of your arm once again, "we need to talk"
"What the fuck about?" you raised your eyebrow
"About you!" he shouted waving at your body "about all this"
"What about it?!" you replied, annoyed now at what he was implying
"Y/n what are you doing with Hargrove?" he calmly asked, lowering his voice "He's an asshole"
You scoffed as his words, rolling your eyes at the idea he cared.
"I don't think it's any of your business Steve," you replied "why do you care who I fuck?"
He seemed taken aback by your words "Because you're my friend y/n"
"Since when Steve?!" you said "I think this is the first time you've even spoken to me in like three months and the first time at school I might add!"
He didn't say anything as you kept shouting at him.
"You're embarrassed by me and I'm sick of being your dirty little secret! Billy mightn't be the best person but at least he's not ashamed to be seen with me"
"I never said I was embarrassed by you y/n" he said
"You didn't have to SAY anything" you challenged him "I'm not an idiot Steve"
"I'm sorry…" he muttered
You felt your anger slowly subsiding and the feeling of sadness wash over you. Grabbing your things again, you turned your back to Steve and walked away.
"I would've thought you of all people would've known what's it's like for someone to just not show up" you didn't give him a chance to reply, didn't want to give him the right to have the last word.
You felt a tear slowly roll down your cheek and your cursed that your arms were too full that you couldn't brush it away.
As you lay beside Billy, only a thin sheet between your skin you couldn't help but think that his sheets felt rougher than Steve's. It was dumb. You'd never done anything romantic with Steve and as you were there naked, post sex, you could only think of his sheets.
"Do you miss California?" you rolled onto your side, and asked Billy
"Yeah" was all he said, still staring at the ceiling, hands on his bare chest
"What do you miss about it?" you kept asking, trying to get a feeling for him
"Why do you care y/n?" he suddenly shot back , seemingly uncomfortable by the question
His response made you sit up "Jesus Billy, just trying to get to know you a bit"
He rolled his eyes as he looked at you "We're just sex y/n, this is all it is, don't try and make it something else"
"Yeah, I know" you nodded and slipped out of his bed
He didn't seem to care as you silently pulled up your jeans and grabbed your bra off of his dresser. Once clothed you grabbed your bag and left. Leaving in that moment you were glad you'd never ran into or even seen his parents before.
The sun hit you as you walked back out into the afternoon Hawkins air, the sun was lower in the sky, so you'd been there for a few hours at least.
Getting into your car you felt your chest heave and without warning you began to cry. You didn't like the feeling of not being in control and up until that moment you had felt that you and Billy's situation was on your terms. But you felt stupid for thinking such a thing.
It was just sex. You knew that, that's all you wanted. Or at least that was what you were telling yourself to make it ok.
Driving back home, the sun slowing began to descend and darkness started to replace the light. Taking the usual turns, you pulled into your street and parked outside of your house. It wasn't until you were walking along the front path that you noticed the figure standing in front of your door.
He was waiting there, clearly wanting to have a serious conversation based off of the express burdening his face.
"Steve go home" you bluntly said trying to find you house key
"I'm not going y/n" he said, "we need to have a proper conversation"
"No we don't" was all you said
"Y/n I don't care what you said but you're my friend and I care about you," he replied "I need to know you're ok, I just want my friend back. I miss you"
"Steve I can't go back to what we had before, I deserve more than that" you told him
"I know you do and I'm sorry for treating you like that, it wasn't fair of me" he said
He took a step towards you and you stumbled as your foot slipped off the step behind you, to which Steve impulsively reached out to steady you.
You could feel your heart pounding against your chest and he kept moving closer and closer to you, as he pulled you into him. He wrapped his arms around you, his frame surrounding you whole. He'd held you before but this was different, this was warmth and desire all in one.
"I'm sorry Steve, I just can't do this" you said, pushing yourself away from him chest "your with Nancy and I know you just see me as a friend but…" you couldn't find the right words, you felt stupid trying to find the right thing to say
He cut you off "Nancy and I broke up" he said slowly
You lifted your eyes and looked up at him, studying his face, "Nancy and I just didn't work, it just wasn't right" You heart stopped at his words "She wasn't you"
You went silent as you looked into his brown eyes and slowly moved your hand up his chest. As your hand moved, you felt his own move from your lower back and up towards you face. As you stood there pressed against one another, he lowered his face and soon you felt your lips pressing against his own.
His lips were soft as you had thought they would be. Moving with the motions of his lips, his teeth grazed against your lower lip causing your mouth to open. Soon his tongue met yours and you couldn't help but sigh as he clutched the back of your neck.
His mouth was so gentle against your own and you could feel the slight stubble that was growing on his chin and cheek. You were lost in his touch and you loved it. You felt safe. You felt like your were home.
Standing out there in there on your dimly lit front step, held in Steve's embrace, his lips on yours, it felt right between you two. You could've never have known that all those years ago the boy next door would end up being so much more to you.

The Others
Supernatural Series
Tumblr media
Blurb:
Life was never kind. This was one truth that she knew too well. Life had never been easy, had never been the luxury of simple. The life of a hunter was never easy or simple though. She wasn't born into the life, had been swept into it through tragedy. She worked alone and liked it that way, without connections, you couldn't get hurt.
Chapter 1
It was dark and disgusting. Sweat clung to my skin, like the blood and dirt that I could feel stuck to my clothes. All I could do was keep crawling, it was too late now to turn back, the light from the flashlight had gone out ages ago, and I could do nothing other than simply moving forward. I followed the stench and muffled screams that echoed through the cramped foul tunnel and I continued to shuffle through.
Trying to ignore the repulsive smells that filled the space around me and filled my nose, I kept crawling through the darkness. After what felt like a lifetime, I finally made out the end of the revolting tunnel and into open space. Clambering out of the underground passage, I stood up and looked around the damp, dirty room. There was no point in trying to clean or brush the filth off of myself as more of it would undoubtedly find its way onto my body.
Quietly taking a step forward, I listened closely for any sounds of movement, but luckily did not come across any. One foot after another, I walked further into the cave, trying my best to lessen the sound my feet made against the thick mud. Each step made a squelching noise as my feet met the ground. I winced as I took another step and a loud crack echoed throughout the large space. Lifting up my boot, I looked down at the white bones mixed within the mud that had splintered underneath my weight.
All of a sudden, a groan reached my ears and I froze. Slowly turning, I narrowed my eyes and tried to find the source of the sound. Then I saw them.
Suspended from the ceiling, the four of them hung from the rope that was attached to their wrists. Blood dripped off of each of them and even from my vantage point, I could tell that only one was alive. Without thinking, I did my best to run through the sludge towards the hanging bodies before me.
Continuing to move towards them, I heard a loud growl, followed by an animalistic grunt which practically paralysed me in my place. Staying a silent as I could, I took one single step and slipped behind the closest place I could hide. Peeking out from where I hid, I saw the creature finally emerge and it strode over to where the bodies were waiting for it.
It was abnormally large, even for its own kind, standing over 7 feet tall. Even with the lack of light, its deathly pale skin shone. It was grotesquely thin, it spine stuck out from it's back and claw-like nails protruded from its fingers. Wendigos were foul, cannibalistic creatures and this one was no exception.
It moved closer to the bodies but then stopped for a moment. I froze and held in my next breath as if not to alert it of my presence. It slowly looked around the dark space, but didn't bother looking around, too hungry for its next meal. It rushed over to its prey within a blink of an eye and plucked one of the corpses from its spot.
I waited for it to move along, waited for it the crawl back into the darkness of the tunnel. Once I was certain it couldn't hear or see me, I stepped out from where I was and rushed over to the bodies. Pulling out the machete that was strapped to the side of my thigh, I began to cut away at the rope wrapped around the living person's wrists. As the rope came closer to breaking I could tell that the person began to gain consciousness and they suddenly begun to panic.
"Woah, Woah, Woah," I quickly hushed the panicked man I was releasing, "I'm trying to help you,"
It took a moment for the words to sink in but once they had, he stopped struggling against my grip and after another short moment the rope snapped free. Practically collapsing to the floor, I quickly grabbed his arm and did my best to pull up his large figure and support him against me.
"We have to get going," I instructed him, "before it comes back,"
The moment the words left my lips, I saw the terror flash into the man's glassy eyes and I knew it was standing right behind me. I didn't get time to think before a giant force smashed into my side and I was thrown through the air and into the solid stone wall. I hit the wall with such force that I swore I heard the stones I connected with crack from the impact and I fell to the ground with a deafening bang.
I forced my eyes open despite the overwhelming desire to keep them closed and to remain on the floor. I knew if I didn't move I would never see the light of day again. My eyelids lifted just in time to see the large disgusting creature begin to stalk towards me and I quickly grabbed the flare gun that I had brought along with me. Taking aim, I didn't think twice before firing the shot straight into the creature's chest and it let out a horrific cry of pain as it went up in flames.
Quickly crawling away from where I had been, I hurried over to the man that was still partially unconscious on the ground.
"Hey," I said, shaking his arm, "we've got to go,"
Helping him to his feet, I began shuffling down the main tunnel entryway. Making our way down the damp, cold tunnel once again, I could still hear the muffled cries of the dying creature behind me. It felt like it was taking forever to reach the end of the tunnel at the rate we were going, but there were only a few more steps and then we would be out.
The man that clung by my side didn't stop groaning as we kept walking. His blood started to seep into my clothes and I could hear it dripping onto the stone as we kept going.
There was only a short distance left to go, not much further and I could dump him off at the nearest hospital and be on my way. All of a sudden a giant bang sounded from behind the us and I whirled around to see what had made the noise. The second my eyes met the figure before me, my stomach dropped and my mouth went deathly dry.
Standing merely a few feet away from where I was were two giant towering figures. Both stood side by side and through the darkness, I could make out the crimson blood that decorated their pale skin. I didn't waste time waiting for them to make the first move. I ran.
Clutching the man by my side even tighter I sprinted to the end of the tunnel as the sound of the growls and thudding of huge feet on the floor came closer and closer. I knew it was too good to be true, a basic, simple job, exactly what it had appeared to be. But no. It couldn't have just been a single wendigo, the amount that they normally remained in, but three and the other two were still alive and coming after me.
Continuing to run, I could practically feel their reeking hot breath on the back of my neck. With a deafening roar, I felt the man I had been supporting be ripped away and his cries of pain echoed throughout the cave. I glanced back to see his body being ripped in two by the monstrous creatures.
It was as abrupt and shocking as it was painful. For a second I couldn't breathe, couldn't even comprehend what was happening. In slow motion, I felt it's large bony hand wrap around my waist and its sharp teeth instantly bit down into my abdomen once it had pulled me close enough. I let out a cry of pain but the wendigo only clamped down harder. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the other one watching from the edge of the tunnel, it looked me up and down and then took a step closer.
Despite their current state, there was something till maliciously human about it's gaze. The way it surveyed me and looked it's eyes on my smaller frame. It knew what it was doing, exactly what it planned to do with me.
I could feel my heart pounding heavily in my chest as the second wendigo stalked towards me. Still trapped within the jaws of the other, I couldn't help but think that I was going to die in this moment. Somehow through it all, I managed to pull my machete that was strapped to my side free and the moment the wendigo came close enough, I swung it at the creature and a thud was all I needed for confirmation.
The creature that still held me in its teeth simply stared at its partners' decapitated body before attempting to drag me further into the cave. The rush of adrenaline that now coursed through my veins allowed me to fight back and for a split second, I felt the wendigo's jaw loosen. Moving as quickly as I could, I ripped herself from its teeth and brought the blade down to its head once I had put enough distance between it and myself.
Still, on the high, I scrambled to my feet and clutching my bloodied side, I ran. I knew that all three creatures were dead but I didn't bother in waiting to see if a fourth was hidden somewhere I couldn't see. For a second a wave of guilt washed over me as I ran through the dense woods, about the man I had left behind, but I knew nothing other than pieces of his corpse was all that would be left at this point.
Finally, coming to the clearing where I had arrived earlier that afternoon when the sun was still in the sky and the forest hadn't looked so intimidating. With the adrenaline wearing off slightly, I pulled myself into my jeep wrangler and threw my weapons onto the back seat. With the engine rumbling to life, I pulled out of the parking spot and turned onto the road leading out of the reserve.
I didn't have to drive for long until I came across a motel on the side of the main road and pulled into the car lot out the front. After hastily getting a room, I stumbled to the door and fumbled to get the key through the hole. Finally, getting it opened, I basically fell into the room and managed to stumble towards the bed, before collapsing onto it.
The deep gashes on my side wouldn't stop bleeding. It seeped through my shirt and jacket and some got onto the sheets of the bed. Opening the kit I had brought in with me, I pulled my shirt off with some difficulty and threw it aside.
There were clear teeth marks where the wendigo had punctured my side. Crimson liquid gushed out from it and I hissed in pain as I pressed a cloth against it to try and stop the bleeding. Pulling myself off of the bed, I made my way towards the bathroom. Getting undressed as fast as I could, I forced myself in and sat down in the tub. Turning on the water, it burned as it hit my opened wound but I did my best to ignore it.
A few hours later I woke up and could only guess that I must have passed out from the blood loss or pain. The cold, bloody bathwater surrounded me and very slowly I began pulling myself out from the freezing tub.
Scrambling towards my bag, I pulled out the bottle of whiskey I had brought with me and popped it open. Bracing myself, I poured the liquid onto my open wounds and cried out in pain from the searing burning sensation that was spreading through my body. Reaching into my bag once again, I grabbed a hold of one of the shirts I had brought along with me.
Doing my best, I pressed down on my abdomen. The pain was spreading through me faster than I could handle and it suddenly felt like too much. I felt the presence of sleep in the distance and welcomed it. Without hesitation, I let the pain take over me and I passed out on the dirty wooden floor of the motel room.
I wasn't sure how long I had been lying on the floor but when I woke up and opened my eyes daylight was streaming through the gaps of the old dusty curtains. Shuffling to sit back up, I winced as my stomach screamed out in pain from the sudden movement. Taking a sharp breath in, I pulled myself off of the floor and only then did I notice that I was still in nothing other than my underwear.
Looking down at my stomach, I carefully peeled the shirt that I had used as a makeshift bandage away from my skin. Trying not to let out a cry of pain, I tried not to cause more blood to seep out from the gashes. Finally looking at the wounds in the light, I hissed at the sight that met me. Large puncture wounds ran down my right side, from my ribs to my hip. Taking a better look at them I noted that I was lucky that they hadn't gone all the way through.
Forcing myself to move once more, I walked back into the dirty motel bathroom and turned the shower on again. Stepping in I washed for the second time and allowed for the dried blood to leave my skin and wash down the drain.
Emerging from the bathroom much cleaner than I had been before going in, I went through my belongings and pulled out a clean set of clothes. Taking my time I carefully pulled each item on, taking care not to knock my wounds. Once I was fully clothed, I grabbed my keys from the table and went out to my car.
Opened the back, I went through the trunk and pulled out the basic medical supplied I always kept on me. Painkillers, bandages, antiseptic and tape. Heading back into the room, I patched myself up and took some of the painkillers to try and numb the pain. Getting back onto the bed, I lay down and passed out once again.

Dreams
Tumblr media
Summary: You have a wet dream about your friend Steve
Sex, teasing, etc
Unedited - just a quick one
You couldn't remember how you had ended up here but that wasn't your main concern as you balanced dangerously on the edge of the bathroom sink. Usually your mind would be focussed on the practical side of things, the risk of it all but right now nothing else mattered. The sole thing you were honed in on was the glorious sensations rippling through your body.
As your fingers clawed through his hair, you couldn't help but think to yourself that his hair was soft but his tongue was softer. He was peppering kisses down you neck and slowly working his way down your body.
His fingers moved up your thighs and you shifted as he scrunched your skirt up. Adjusting yourself, you couldn't help let out a small moan at he ran his fingers against the thin cotton underwear blocking your entrance.
"Your already wet" he remarked, clearly pleased with himself "Just for you" you replied sultrily
Lifting yourself up, you helped him removed your underwear and flinched as you rested yourself back down on the cold porcelain sink.
"You sure?" he asked gazing into your eyes "Yes" you firmly said
He didn't waste any time once you had given the go ahead "Oh god Steve!" you cried, throwing your head back as his tongue met your core
He was like a man starved. He knew exactly what to do. Finding those exact spots.
You felt one finger enter you and then a second, he moved them expertly, curving them in just the right spot.
"Yes, yes" you exclaimed, one hand gripping the edge of the sink and the other his hair
His tongue met your clit and you couldn't stop the moans. It could have been seconds, it could have been hours, you didn't know how long it had been.
You felt yourself coming towards that edge "oh my god, yes, yes, right there" you told him, and he knew exactly what you meant
A few seconds later and you had the best orgasm of your life, your legs were shaking and you had to slow your breathing.
You didn't have much of a reprieve as you felt the tip of his cock press against your entrance. Shifting forward, you moved to a better angle and gazed up at his, gripping his bicep in encouragement.
"Oh god, you're tight" he muttered, as he slowly began pushing his member within you
He was big, that was for sure, but you liked the feeling of him inside you.
"Keep going" you reassured him, pulling him closer and into a strong kiss
He finally was fully inside you and began moving, slow and first, as to let you adjust but soon strong, rhythmic thrusts.
The both of you were moving in sync, engrossed in it all. Again you felt another orgasm coming and his thrusts hastened, you could feel how close you were, so close, just another second.
You felt yourself wake suddenly, the reality of what happened settling down on you. Your eyes darted around you and you realised you had fallen asleep on the coach. Then you felt the arm that was wrapped around you and the head that was resting against yours, as you rested your own on their shoulder.
The only light in the room was coming from the television, that was still playing the movie you two had started earlier in the evening. You couldn’t see Steve’s face but thanked God he was clearly asleep.
You didn't want to move in fear of waking him. You wanted to just leap up and run away, you were horrified at what had just happened. As Steve had been innocently sleeping next to you, you had been fanaticising about him.
Shifting slightly, you froze as you could feel how wet you were, clearly aroused by your dreams.
You slowly slipped out of your friends embrace and tried your best to not wake him. Getting up from the couch you went to slink towards the bathroom, quietly tip toeing across the hardwood floor.
"You talk in your sleep by the way" you heard a voice say from behind you and you froze mid step
There was silence for a moment and you just wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear. You were so embarrassed and mortified that Steve had heard you.
Slowly turning around to face him, you sheepishly met his gaze. His face didn't reveal any signs of disgust or shock as you had anticipated. The right corner of his lips were turned up in a slight smug grin as he gazed at you.
"Hopefully I can live up to the expectation" he said with a shit-eating grin

No Secrets
Eddie Munson x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You take Eddie with you to Victoria’s Secret Fluff, flirting, mentions of sex, teasing Unedited - just a quick one I put together
Eddie wanted to disappear. He wanted to die. He wanted to curl up into the darkness never to be seen again.
These were the thoughts running through Eddie's mind as he stood frozen within the depths of hell that is Victoria's Secret. He didn't know why he was even here, why you had decided to bring him of all people, surely Nancy or Robin would've been better candidates.
Eddie had endured high school as the outcast and the freak, but somehow he had never felt this out of place and judged until now. You couldn't have been more than a foot away from him, but he still felt so strange.
There were bras and other lacey pieces of underwear lining the shelves and wracks around the entire store, there was no where he could look without feeling like some sort of pervert. So he decided to keep a very strong focus on the laces of his shoes.
"Eddie, hey" you said, touching his arm, clearly startling him slightly "sorry... You ok?"
"Yeah, yeah, what would make you say that?" he chuckled nervously
"You can go wait outside if you'd prefer?" you offered him
Just as he was about to leap on the offer, he noticed the expression on your face and tried to put on a pretend smile.
"No, no, I'm happy to stay with you" Eddie said smiling, causing you to mirror him and smile to spread across your face as well, though yours was much more genuine than his
You continued throughout the store, collecting a few miscellaneous items and then headed to the changing rooms.
Eddie awkwardly stood outside of your changing room as you tried on a couple of things. Though in reality it was only minutes, for the leather clad boy it felt like an eternity and counting the scuff marks on his boots could only entertain him for so long.
"Eddie," your gentle voice suddenly said and Eddie spun around to come face to face with the curtain between you two "can I get your opinion on something?"
"Umm..." he said uncertainly, starting to question his expertise in women's fashion "sure..."
Your arm quickly darted out from behind the curtain and pulled the boy into the confined place with you. Once Eddie had gained his footing and expertly avoided going head first into the floor length mirror, he properly got to look at you.
"Holy shit!" he said without thinking
"Eddie!" you whisper yelled back at him
"sorry..." he muttered, mesmerised by what stood before him
"Well, what do you think then?"
"I was thinking why you wanted my input about women's clothes but I don't think this has enough fabric to be called that" he chuckled proudly
You gave him a flirtatious smile and took a step closer to your boyfriend "are you saying you don't like it?" you innocently asked
"Would never dream of saying such a thing" he replied, words as sweet as yours had been
Moving closer, you looked up at his sweetly and very slowly began dropping to your knees. You could see that Eddie was excited by your move, but you smirked at him at you simply picked your shirt back up off the ground and stood back up.
Turning around you once again, slowly and tortuously bent down to pick up another article of clothing. You enjoyed showing off like this, knew what thoughts would be running wild in Eddie's head.
Suddenly you felt him move behind you, the cold metal buttons of his jacket touching the bare skin on your back.
Pressing you against the wall of the small space, you felt his breath against the back of your neck "Though I might have to punish you for teasing me like this" he whispered.
Eddie didn't notice some of the looks he got from other guys as they walked back through the mall, as he was carrying your bags. His mind was entirely focussed on what he had witnessed moments prior, amazed that he had managed to convince someone so incredible to give him a chance.
Getting to the van, you jumped into the passenger seat and waited for Eddie to start the engine. As you both drove along the Hawkins streets, you came across a red light and stopped. Leaning over carefully, you moved one hand around Eddie's thigh and gave it a soft squeeze.
"I was thinking I might need to try on those things again when we get home, just so I'm one hundred percent sure they fit right"
Eddie's eyes widened slightly at your comment and a sly grin appeared on his face. You swore you had never driven faster than in that moment, you were just lucky no cops had been around, because a hefty fine would've definitely been a mood killer.
Needless to say they certainly didn't say on for long when you got back.

Starts With A Pen
Steve Harrington x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Steve Harrington likes to flirt with you during class but is definitely not prepared for what you have to say one day.
Fluff, flirting, vague mentions of sex
Unedited - quick idea put together
You had an extra long history class to end the day every Monday, which was just a cruel way to start the school week. Most of your classmates were already exhausted and weren't even thinking about class at this point in the day.
You were trying your best to focus on the monotone drawl of Mr Higgins at the front of the class but you felt you mind drifting. He was talking about some sort of ancient civilisation when the door to the classroom swung open.
It was no surprise who waltzed into the class, late as usual, the king himself. Steve Harrington merely nodded at your teacher, no questions or excuses were exchanged, he was far above that, exempt from regular treatment.
In the short few steps he took to reach his own seat, you could've sworn every girl in the class had awoken from a daze at the mere presence of the boy. Their wandering eyes, watched him at he wove between the desks and unfortunately took his assigned seat beside you.
You couldn't lie, Steve Harrington was an attractive person, he had a certain typical beauty about him. Though any romantic feelings you had towards him were eradicated the moment he opened his mouth.
Flopping down into the seat beside you, he didn't even bother to take out a notebook, just leant back in the chair and stared at the ceilings. You however, despite the enticement of distraction, had to try and at least take notes, as you were afforded the luxury of falling back on a parents money after graduation. You had goals of collage and hopefully a good one, the further from Hawkins the better.
As time seemed the slowly tick by, the room fell back into its usual atmosphere. Heads fell back onto desks, people resumed whispered conversations and Mr Higgins continued the lesson, seemingly not by those not paying attention; as he too was looking forward to the final bell.
You were mindlessly scribbling down notes when your left arm was poked "Hey"
Turning towards the offender, you shot a look of dismissal at the boy sitting next to you
But once again he poked you "Hey"
"What?" you quickly replied, tone laced with a bit more anger than you meant
"Do you have a pen?"
"Yes"
"Well can I borrow it?"
"You don't even have a book with you"
"Who said I was writing in a book"
Rolling your eyes, you bent down and grabbed your spare pen and handed it to him.
"Thanks" he said
You tried to not take any notice of him, as he doodled on the corner of his side of the desk. Finally the bell sounded and everyone practically leapt up from their seats and fled the room. Packing up your things you realised Harrington had already left, but smiled when you saw the pen placed in the centre of the desk. You were honestly surprised he hadn't just taken it.
Just as luck would have it, you had the exact same class on a Friday afternoon, which was possibly more torturous than the Monday. This time souls were withering and the will to live was slim. It was the final class of the last day of the week and it seemed to go on for longer than anything in human history. Well you may have exaggerated slightly, but it couldn't have been a worst timetable schedule.
Once again, approximately 10 minutes into the lesson, Steve Harrington arrived; late and without an excuse. Again he wandered into the classroom and flopped down next to you.
"Can I borrow a pen?" he asked you once more
"Fine" was all you bothered to say, knowing he'd at least leave it
The class proceeded as normal for a while longer until Harrington once again caught your attention.
"You coming to my party tonight?" he asked you
"I don't know, depends if I can get a lift" you replied honestly, not taking your eyes away from the blackboard up front
"Well you betta, can't have a pretty girl sitting at home by herself all night"
You just chuckled at his comment and tried to focus on you notes.
"What a guy can't pay a gorgeous girl a compliment?" he asked, seemingly confused by your reaction
"Not when it's coming from someone who's used that line about a million times"
He seemed to not know how to reply to that and the conversation ended.
This routine continued for a while. Harrington would arrive to class late, borrow your pen for some reason and hopelessly attempt to flirt with you the entire time.
It was approaching exam week and this particular lesson regarding what to expect during the assessment was quite important to you. However, as usual Steve Harrington wasn't allowing you to focus.
He had progressed to drawing small images on the corner of your pages and whispering in your ear to get your attention. Usually you didn't that much, your quick remarks came easily, but today you needed to pay attention.
"You know if you just gave me a chance I'd make it worth your while" Steve whispered
Turning towards the grinning boy, you were fed up with him more than usual in that moment. Leaning in closely, you brought your lips so close you could feel them brushing against his ear.
"Unless you're going to bend me over this desk right this second and fuck me in front of everyone until I can't walk, I'd appreciate if you would shut the fuck up and let me concentrate"
You'd honestly never seen someone so awestruck. Steve just sat in front of you frozen, mouth agape. Happy with your message, you turned back and followed the lesson until the bell sounded.
Grateful it was the weekend you gathered your things and went to close you notebook when you save something scribbled down at the bottom of the page. Looking closer you smirked at what was written.
'Good thing I have a desk at home too'

The Right One
Robin Buckley x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You have a thing for Robin but you’re not sure if she feels the same way. Robin likes you but is convinced you’re into Steve.
Pure fluff, mutual pining
Unedited - an idea I wanted to get down
You didn't like ice cream all that much, you were more of a chocolate person but somehow you always found yourself buying an ice cream at the end of each shift. You worked at Starcourt mall at The Gap, nothing special but it meant you made some money.
But at the end of each of your shifts, no matter the time, you found yourself walking towards Scoops. You were greeted with the same warm smile as you entered the store.
"How are my favourite people?" you asked, trying not to smile too much
"Well Steve here has been trying and failing to pick up any girl the whole day" Robin informed you, holding up her whiteboard to show her point system
"Don't worry Steve, one day some clueless girl will fall for those tricks"
Steve rolled his eyes at you two "Thanks for the vote of confidence"
You spent a while longer chatting to them, until some more customers came in. Steve quickly got your usual order and passed it over.
"See you tomorrow?" he asked
"Where else would I find a handsome sailor to give me free ice cream?" you smirked
Heading out, you turned around and waved goodbye.
As soon as you left the store Steve smugly turned around to Robin who was stubbornly marking a tally in the 'you rule' column.
"Why don't you ask her out already? She clearly has a thing for you" Robin said
"I dunno, she's not really my type"
"She's nice, pretty and smart enough to make an ass out of you, how is she not your type?"
"If you like her so much why don't you ask her out" Steve quipped, laughing to himself.
Luckily for Robin the service bell was rung in time for Steve to turn back around and miss the slightly panicked look in Robin's eyes as she worried if Steve was being serious. Of course Robin liked y/n but there was no way Steve knew that or anyone else for that matter.
The next day when you went in, it was just Robin in the store, you figured Steve must've been on break or something.
"Hey" you exclaimed a little to excitedly, which you mentally hit yourself for
"Hi" Robin replied
"No Steve?"
"He's coming in a bit later if you want to come back then?"
"No, no, you're perfect"
Robin's heart skipped at beat at y/n's words.
"Guessing it's probably a relief to be rid of him for a bit right?" you laughed
"You have no idea, I think if I hear another one of his pickup lines my brain might turn to mush"
The conversation died after that and you felt like you were going to die as well. Standing right in front of this beautiful girl, you had lost all the words and it was as if you didn't know how to speak. What you didn't realise was that a foot across from you, that same girl was also freaking out about the silence.
"Um... Well, I better go, my shift starts in 5"
"Yeah, I should probably clean the scoopers too"
The entire day you replayed the moment in your head, cringing at how it had gone. You had gone in there planning on asking Robin to the movies or something but had crumbled under the pressure.
You were honestly terrified to ask her, but figured the movies was friendly enough, nothing suspicious about that. Your plan was to try and become her friend and then see how it went from there. This was a small town and you couldn't exactly pull a Steve Harrington and ask out every pretty girl you saw. You had to be much more careful with these things.
You told yourself that after you closed the store that night, you would try again.
However your plan didn't go as anticipated, as when you had walked over to Scoops that night they were already closed. The next day when you had gone in, Robin hadn't been there and again that night, they closed early. You were convinced you had missed your opportunity.
What followed in the next few days definitely hadn't been a part of the plan either. The mall had burnt down overnight.
The following weeks you had been applying for every job there was, but to no avail. After another frustrating day of handing out resumes, you'd decided to give up and grab a movie before heading home.
Walking into the store, you looked around for a while when you heard a familiar voice, "Can I help you with anything? Oh y/n, didn't realise that was you" Robin smiled as you turned to face her
"I didn't know you worked here"
"Oh yeah, Steve and I just started"
"Lucky you found somewhere, everywhere I've looked seems to not be hiring"
"Oh I'm sorry, I'd ask if you wanted to work here but I had to beg them to hire Steve"
"Don't worry, at least I now have an excuse to come by and see my favourite person"
You gently touched Robin's shoulder, your best attempt at testing the waters. From your perspective you were in full gay panic. From Robin's you were moving past her to look at Steve.
Just as you had said, you now frequented the video store quite a bit. You came to know Steve and Robin a lot more and the three of you became a bit of a group.
You all would have movie nights together at Steve's house, since his parents were never home. What you didn't realise was that after each time you hung out, Robin spent the following time trying to convince Steve to ask you out.
And what Steve and Robin didn't know was that on every drive home you analysed every touch, every word that was said between you and the brunette headed girl.
"Soo..." Robin began, fiddling with a loose strand of hair "are we going to talk about it?"
You froze for a second, not sure how to answer that.
"Talk about what?" you tried to laugh off, flicking through the magazine on the counter
"You know... Your little crush on a certain someone" she tried to egg you on
"I don't know what you're on about"
"Seriously? It's so obvious" Robin giggled "A blind person couldn't miss it"
"I...um..."
"Honestly I don't understand why you and Steve haven't just gone out already" she finally said
You looked up so quickly from the magazine that you thought you might've given yourself whiplash "What?" you said in disbelief
"You and Steve" she asserted "I've been trying to set you up for weeks!"
"Um... I don't have a thing for Steve, he's a nice guy but not my type"
The conversation went on like that for what felt like an eternity. You kept trying to convince Robin that you didn't feel that way about Steve but she wouldn't stop.
"Oh my god Robin will you just shut up!" you cried, frustration getting the better of you "I don't have a thing for Steve, I never have!"
"What?" she seemed confused by what you had said "but you're always coming by"
"Why do you think? Huh? Who else could I possibly be there for?"
She just looked at you with a puzzled look across her face.
"It's the same person I always wanted to see at Scoops, who I can never get enough time with, the same person who I go out of my way to see at the video store"
"Yeah, Steve"
"For the last time I haven't been following Steve around because I have a thing for him, I've been following you!"
Your eyes widened as you realised what you had just said.
"Me?" Robin muttered
You nodded and said again, "You"
You took the chance and stepped closer to the brown headed girl in front of you. Your heart pounded as you made the move and planted a chaste kiss on her soft lips.
Stepping back you tried to get a hint from her expression and felt your heart sink as Robin's eyes bore down at the ground. You felt like such an idiot.
Quickly turning you went to go back to you car when you felt a hand grip your wrist and pull you back. An arm snaked around your waist and you were once again pulled into those lips. She tasted like mint gum and Chapstick, you felt yourself melting into it. You hand found it's way into her hair, you'd played with Robin's hair before but this time the movements were filled with desire.
You could feel her hands trailing up and down your back and you gasped slightly as Robin held you tighter. Taking the opportunity you felt her tongue enter your mouth and you felt like this was some sort of dream. You weren't sure how long the two of you stood there, entwined.
Pulling back, you both came up for air and you placed your foreheads against each other. It was silent for a moment, as if both of you wanted to take in what had just happened.
Robin was the first one the say anything "Well I can admit when I am wrong"
You laughed at her words, placing soft kisses along her neck.
"I mean," she began again, clearly the moment of unheard of silence from her was over "I didn't see any of the signs," you tried to shut her up with another kiss but she pulled back after a second "and oh my god, I spent so much time trying to set you up with Steve, which I mean, he's nice and all but obviously this is why you weren't interested in him, how did I not realise that?"
"Robin," you tried to interject, watching her spiral "Robin, Robin" you kept saying, grabbing a hold of her face
"Sorry" she said, eyes wide as she stared at you "I'll be quiet now"
That quiet lasted for all of maybe... 1 minute, before she began rambling again. Between all the frantic words you just giggled at the person you'd fallen for.
"Robin, can you just let me make out with the girl I've been pining over for the past few years?"
"Oh yeah..." she said, forgetting her rambles and nodding frantically "I can definitely do that"

Showers and Chamomile
Eddie Munson x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Movie night with your boyfriend Eddie and you only get more proof at how dorky and perfect he is. Pure fluff Unedited - idea I quickly threw together
Eddie liked to think he was all tough and dark. Whilst most of the town agreed with this persona, you were privy to a very different one.
Your Eddie liked a hot water bottle on cold nights, preferred tea over coffee once the sun went down so he didn't get too 'wired' and although vehemently denied it, loved a good romcom. Hence why on a Saturday night when Eddie claimed that he could be 'getting high and listening to good music at a bar with the guys', he was in fact at home watching Grease with you.
"I just don't get it," Eddie said
"What don't you get now?" you replied, chuckling slightly at the end of your question
"Well Sandy is trying to do all these things for Danny and he doesn't even seem all that great" he pointed out, waving a hand at the television
"I dunno..." you trailed off "he's pretty cute"
"Um excuse me?!" Eddie exclaimed with a look of horror and humour as he clutched his hand to his heart "I thought you only had eyes for me?"
"Sorry baby but think John Travolta might beat you out of top spot" you said sticking your tongue out at him "Though I do admit, you have better hair"
A smug grin spread across Eddie's face "Thank you" he said proudly
The two of you lay there and watched the rest of the movie. Another thing you loved about your boyfriend was when he was truly engrossed in something, concentrating so hard on what was in front of him, he stuck his tongue out of the side of his mouth. Just ever so slightly, but it always made you giggle. That's how you knew not to distract him because his tongue would be poking out of his lips.
During the musical scenes you always laughed as Eddie would roll his eyes as they started singing and then would end up tapping his fingers to the beat. You honestly weren't sure if he noticed what he was doing and this was usually the case in most musical movies you watched. You liked them, you couldn't deny that, but you especially liked when Eddie would start tapping his fingers against your leg.
You never said anything in case he became aware of it and stopped. So you would just sit there and nestle yourself closer into his chest and lighten your grip on him.
"Ok I have to admit the ending was a bit strange" you confessed as you got up from the couch
"See, I told you" Eddie replied, rolling his eyes
"They should have just ended it with the song, I don't get the need for the flying car" you continued talking as Eddie began cleaning up
The two of you pottered around for a moment, cleaning up the mess you both had made during the course of the evening.
"At least I know you definitely have a type" Eddie said as he packed up the empty popcorn bowls from the coffee table
"What?" you asked, confused by his words
"A type, at least I don't have to be worried about that"
"What are you on about?" you laughed
"Danny Zuko and I are like the exact same"
You shot Eddie a smirk as he kept talking "C'mon, we both wear leather, like working on cars, don't get along with the popular crowd. We're practically twins"
"Really? Twins?"
"Oh yeah..." Eddie smiled, placing the bowls in the sink and walked up to you "and we also both landed someone who is super gorgeous and completely out of our league"
Slipping his arms around your waist, Eddie pulled you in close.
"Ok..." you said "you redeemed yourself with that last thing"
"Good, I'm glad you noticed that" Eddie smiled
"I have to say, I think between me and Sandy, I got the better deal" you said, leaning into Eddie and pulling him into a gentle kiss
The two of you stood there in each others embrace for what felt like ages until you had to come back up for air.
"Well I'm going to go have a shower" you said, giving him one last peck and slowly making your way to the bathroom
"I'm going to make some tea" Eddie informed you, "really craving some chamomile"
"Do you want to have a shower too?" You paused, slowly pulling your shirt off seductively
"No, no," Eddie replied, too focussed on finding his favourite mug to realise what you were doing "I'll have one later"
Making an obnoxious coughing noise in an attempt to get his attention, you rolled your eyes at your boyfriends complete obliviousness.
"I meant, don't you want to have a shower with me?" you said and watched as his eyes widened and he dropped the box of tea bags from his hands
He finally looked at you and nodded "Yes, yes, I would like that very much" he said, frantically kicking off his shoes and desperately undoing his belt
Turning around you walked into the shower and heard a big thud behind you.
"I'm fine" Eddie shouted from the other room
You laughed as you turned on the water because you knew he had fallen over in his desperate attempt to get to you as quickly as possible "Dork" you muttered to yourself
"What was that?" Eddie asked
"Nothing" you quickly replied and jumped in the shower.
As the warm water ran over you, you couldn’t help but wonder how you got so lucky.

Unwanted Reunion
Eddie Munson x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You convince your husband Eddie to attend his 10 year high school reunion and as expected it doesn’t go well.
General fluff, mentions of sex, minor violence
Unedited
This was your first time in Hawkins, despite your efforts to persuade your husband to bring you back to his hometown, he had always had a strong stance against it. But when the letter arrived in your mailbox notifying you of a 10 year reunion, you had badgered him until he finally agreed.
You had been with Eddie Munson since college. You'd met in a class that he later dropped out of, but continued seeing each other after that. After Eddie dropped out he opened his own mechanic shop, which gradually grew to multiple stores which were all incredibly successful.
Eddie always made little side comments about getting married but he didn't build up to ask you until the day of your graduation. Your family and friends had been there and whilst you were too busy trying to watch where your cap had been thrown to, Eddie had gotten down on one knee.
You'd been married for 5 years now and you loved Eddie more that you could've ever imagined.
The drive to Hawkins was easy, most of the roads were pretty flat in this area, according to Eddie's constant facts. Despite his continued trivial knowledge, you knew something wasn't quite right as he only rambled like this when he was nervous or trying to get something from you.
"What's wrong?" you bluntly questioned him
He kept his eyes on the road and replied dimly "Nothing’s wrong"
"Eddie" you said in your warning tone, causing his eyes to flick over to you "what's the matter? You've been acting strange ever since we left home?"
"It doesn't matter" he assured you "it's stupid"
Despite his clear desire to drop the conversation, you knew he wanted to talk. He wasn't as hard to read as he'd like to think and you especially could read him like an open book.
You softened your gaze and softly said "It's not stupid, c'mon, what's wrong?"
He let out a small sigh "You know how I always say you never would've dated me in high school?"
"Yeah..." you replied, unsure how this related
"Well there's a lot more reasons behind that then you think. I wasn't exactly liked back then"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, I went to school in a small town in the 80's, people didn't exactly like different and I was pretty different"
Eddie continued to tell you more about himself, most of which you knew and some you hadn't expected.
"You've seen the pictures, I had tattoos, I listened to metal and played D&D. People thought I worshipped Satan and was evil, I wasn't really liked or even wanted around, they were probably all glad when I left"
"I'm sorry Eddie" you said placing your hand on his knee "If you don't want to go to this thing we don't have to, we can just go and visit Wayne and then drive home tomorrow"
"No," he said "I want to you, I want to go in there and show them all that I didn't end up in jail like my shit dad and I made something of myself"
You squeezed his leg and coughed a little reminding him of you presence.
"And I landed myself a fucking hot ass wife!" he shouted
You laughed at his choice of words.
"Ok, I'm glad" you reassured him
"Yeah, me too" he said
"I'm also glad I brought two different outfit options just in case"
Eddie looked at you sideways, raising a brow "what kind of outfit are we talking about here?"
"Remember your birthday?" you smirked
You could see the wheels turning in his head as he thought back to then "I think you might be arrested if you go naked"
You smacked his leg in response "No you idiot! What I was wearing before that!"
"Ooooh..." he said in realisation "Oh yeah, that'll do it"
It seemed to amaze you that despite distance and state lines, somehow the interior of a public high school always looked the same. The same linoleum flooring and white walls with some sort of colour attempted to be painted onto them.
As you walked inside, you could feel Eddie's grip tighten around your arm. Making your way down the hall, Eddie glanced around at the lockers and pictures along the corridor.
"See that locker?" Eddie whispered to you, pointing out at one
You looked in the direction and assumed it must've been his "That's where I made a pass at Mindy Cornwell and then her boyfriend punched me"
"Eddie!" you looked at him horrified "why would you tell me that?"
“Hey, you're the one that wanted to know my high school experience..." he defended "not my fault it was shit" he muttered
Coming to the end of the hall, you walked up to the table that was set up at the entrance of the sports hall. From where you were you could already see the obscene amount of decorations and lights beyond the doorway.
"Name?" the blonde lady in front of your asked, giving you a smile and looking down at her list
"Edward and Y/n Munson" you said
The expression of shock was evident on her face, she didn't do anything to bother to conceal her expression and even felt so bold to do a double take.
"Is there a problem?" you insisted, feeling rather observed
"No, sorry" she spluttered, searching the table for the name stickers
Picking them up, she handed them over to the two of you and you headed on in.
"Hey relax" you whispered to Eddie, gently giving his forearm a squeeze "we're in, one part down"
"Thank you," he said, pressing a soft kiss to your head "you know your amazing right?"
"Only cause you like to remind me" you laughed "c'mon, let's see if we can find Robin, she told me she was coming tonight"
Making your way around the room, you noted the large 'Class of '86' banner along the wall. You were surprised at how many people were already here, though based on what Eddie had told you, it seemed like most of them hadn't moved away.
Just as you were about to finish your lap of the room, you spotted the person you were looking for.
"Robin!" you exclaimed, pulling away from Eddie and dashing over to your friend.
"Y/n!" she shouted back bringing you into an embrace "how are you?"
"I'm good, how are you?" you asked, then noticed her lack of companion "Where's Sarah?"
"I'm not too bad, unfortunately she got called back into the hospital last minute"
"That's a shame, I was looking forward to seeing her again"
Over the years you had met a few of Eddie's friends at random times, but when they had all come to the wedding you got to see the true chaos of them together. Since then, they had all come and visited you occasionally, and you had visited them as well. So you'd gotten to know them all and become pretty close with Robin.
"Hey Rob" Eddie cut in, re-joining your side "guessing y/n's already beaten me to the small talk and niceties?"
"I'm afraid so Eds" Robin sarcastically remarked, shaking her head slightly "unfortunately once again your gorgeous wife had proven she's far too good for you"
The three of you continued to chat and catch up as the evening progressed. You could tell Eddie was doing his best to avoid heading back into the larger group, but you didn't mind, you were here for him, not for yourself.
"Hey," you interjected "I'm just going to go grab a drink"
"Did you want me to get it?" Eddie offered
"No, that's ok"
"Ok, well can you get me one as well?"
"Sure"
Weaving your way through the crowd made you way over to the table covered in food and drink. As you were getting yourself a wine and Eddie a beer, you overheard something that caught your attention.
"Oh my god did you hear the freak is here tonight?" one voice said
"I can't believe he isn't in jail or dead" another spoke
"I heard he's going bald and is broke and he's back in town to move in with his uncle"
"No, no, apparently he's here with a woman, Michelle said he brought his wife!"
"You're kidding!"
"No way! She must be blind or stupid if she married Eddie ‘The Freak’ Munson"
You stood there stunned for a moment as the realisation that these grown women were gossiping about you and Eddie hit. You weren't sure what to do for a second, as you registered their mean words and childish behaviour.
"Sorry can I just get past you?" a voice pulled you away, glancing up you grabbed your drinks as a blonde haired man stepped beside you
"I'm sorry, just lost in thought" you politely smiled
"Don't worry, just getting a top up" he laughed, gesturing to the empty beer bottle in his hand "I don't seem to recognise you, did you go here?"
"No, no" you replied "I went to school in North Carolina, I'm here with my husband, he's the one that went here"
"Oh really, what's his name, I might've known him?" he asked "I'm Jason by the way"
"It's nice to meet you Jason," you replied "his name is Eddie, Eddie Munson..."
Once again that evening, a shocked look fell over another persons face. This man who you'd known for all of five seconds gave you the biggest look of bewilderment and confusion.
"Eddie Munson?" he finally said, questioning you as if you'd said the wrong name "Eddie Munson is your husband?"
"Um yes..." you replied, unsure why he was so confused by your words
"How the hell did he get someone like you?!"
You weren't sure how to answer that, so you just tried to defuse the situation by laughing, though it sounded more nervous that you would've liked.
"Well it was nice meeting you Jason, I better get back" you said, trying to rush away, suddenly very uncomfortable by the change in conversation
You quickly walked back over to where Robin and Eddie were still standing and you quickly rushed to Eddie's side.
"I'm so sorry" you told him, cringing at what had happened
“Why are you sorry?" Eddie questioned, raising a brow
"I may have accidentally just spoken to your least favourite person here..."
"Mrs O'Donnell's still alive?" he said in shock
"No you idiot" you shot back "Jason Carver"
"Oh, that makes much more sense" he paused for a second and then huffed out "why?"
"I didn't mean to, he just started talking to me and by the time I worked out who he was it was too late to just run away"
You couldn't hide away for much longer, as you spotted out of the corner of your eye, a few people looking your way. Gradually as you heard Jason's words get louder, presumably with the help of some more alcohol, more people began to notice you. Usually you wouldn't care about people looking but it was clearly making Eddie uneasy.
Before you knew it, Jason and a few others that looked just like him, appeared before you.
"Jason" Eddie said flatly, trying to not acknowledge him
"How did you do it Munson, actually what did you do?" Jason laughed not wasting any time and clearly a few drinks in "You knock her up and force her to marry you or are you just paying some random hooker by the hour?"
"Fuck you Carver" Eddie replied, clearly angered by his words
"Oh the freaks got a backbone now does he?" Jason said, moving closer towards Eddie "cause last time I remember the only thing you were good at was running" he spat
Eddie didn't give Jason time to react, let alone retaliate. In one strong hit, Eddie swung and Jason was on the floor. Everyone gasped at the sight and you heard Robin shout some sort of profanity.
Your eyes widened at your husbands sudden act of violence but you didn't feel sorry for the excuse of a man on the floor. Somehow amongst all the shit talking, it clearly hadn't been mentioned that Eddie did hard physical labour all day and wasn't just playing board games anymore (though you did still have the box in a cupboard at the house).
"Don't speak like that to my wife again you asshole" Eddie said, grabbing a hold of your arm and marching you out of the gymnasium
He didn't say anything as you two rushed out into the night and towards your car. You still were sure exactly what was happening, it all played out so quickly, you hadn't had time to process.
"Eddie, woah, woah, just stop for a second" you begged
"I'm so sorry y/n" he said, looking back at you with hurt eyes "I never should've come tonight, I knew that it wouldn't have gone well"
"Hey, stop... This isn't your fault" you said, bringing your hands up and gently holding the sides of his face "I'm sorry I forced you to come"
"This isn't your fault either" Eddie was quick to reply, "let's say it was no one's fault and move on?"
"Sounds good to me" you smiled "though I do have to say it was pretty hot you knocking that jackass to the ground"
"Well I'm glad it looked good cause it fucking hurt my hand" Eddie muttered clutching his right hand "but I wanted to seem cool"
You couldn't help but laugh at your hopeless husband. Even in the shittiest situations he managed to be ok and make something funny, which is something you loved about him.
"I am sorry about what he said about you," Eddie said in a more sincere tone "no matter how much they hate me, that was just wrong to say all those awful lies"
Wrapping your arms around his waist, you breathed in his cologne that had been the same since you met.
"How about we go?" you suggested and the two of you got into the car
As you were driving along, the headlights guiding your way on the dark road, a realisation popped into your head.
"You know..." you said, pausing for a moment, trying to think over your words "It wasn't all lies"
"What?" Eddie replied clearly confused "Um... Unless you've changed jobs, last time I checked you weren't a cheap hooker
"No, that's not it" you said
Eddie clearly wasn't listening to you, lost in his own train of thought "I'd hope you'd at least be a high class one, for politicians and stuff, you know, important people" he went on
"Well I'm glad you think I'd made a good hooker" you chuckled
"Only the best for my girl" he smirked at you
Rolling your eyes, you looked down at your feet for a second.
"No Eddie," you softly said "I mean... technically you did knock me up"
Your words just about made him crash the car.
In a flash Eddie had pulled over on the side of the road and flung around to face you in the passenger seat.
"What?" he stared at you blankly "are you serious?"
"Yeah" you smiled nervously
"Really?"
"Yes!"
"Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit" he excitedly shouted
He froze for a second and suddenly looked back at you again.
"How long have you know? How far along are you?" he rambled
"I've known for about two weeks now, and the doctor says I'm only a month along"
Once again Eddie froze and he didn't utter a word for at least a few minutes, which had to be some sort of personal record.
"That fucking dress!" he exclaimed "God it really was a good birthday!"
You couldn't help but burst out into laughter as Eddie put the pieces together. Hopelessly smiling at your husband, he pulled you towards him and held you tightly as the excitement of what was to come became reality.

One Night
Eddie Munson x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Eddie wakes up to find someone else in his bed that he was not expecting. He also wasn’t expecting to find neither of you clothed.
General fluff, mentions of sex
When Eddie woke the first thing that struck him was the throbbing of his head. He reluctantly opened his eyes slowly, waiting for the morning sun to hit them. As expected a stream on light had managed to slip through the small gap in his curtains and he instantly hated himself for not being more careful when he shut them.
Trying to ignore everything he tried to just nestle back into his pillow and sleep. However he suddenly became very tense as something next to him moved. His eyes widened as he realised someone was in the bed with him and upon a second thought he realised that he wasn’t wearing any clothes.
Rolling over slowly as to not wake up whoever was next to him, he was met with a head of y/h/c hair before him. Peaking over more his heart stopped for a second as the sleeping he saw the sleeping face of y/n laying next to him.
Slowly lifting back the covers to confirm his suspicions his eyes were met with your naked figure as well. Quickly dropping the sheet as to not see more than he already had, he froze in panic.
His brain was fuzzy as he tried to recall the previous nights events. He could remember being at Steve’s house along with the others and getting dropped home by Robin and you joining him to continue for another few drinks. Piece by piece more bits started slowly coming back to him.
Carefully slipping out of the bed, he tried to move as quickly as possible out of the room. Grabbing a pair of pants and a shirt from the floor, he took note of your own clothing that was thrown around the room.
Eddie stepped into the bathroom and squinted at his appearance in the mirror. On his face were multiple colours of lipstick from which he knew was when the girls had jokingly kissed his cheeks earlier in the evening.
What he wasn't expecting however was when he turned slightly and noticed the large red marks running down his back. He had scratch marks littering every different part of him as if he'd been attacked by a wild animal. Running his fingers over the markings he could only imagine what had occurred for him to be covered by them.
Throwing on his shirt, Eddie splashed some water in his face in an attempt to freshen up and headed into the kitchen. He grabbed a glass of water to quench the aching thirst he seemed to have and paused for a moment and was grateful that his uncle was away for the weekend.
Glancing back down the hall he checked if you were awake yet but you hadn't moved. Eddie had to admit he wasn't exactly sure what to do. He hadn't exactly woken up in bed with one of his best friends before, so he wasn't sure what the protocol for such an event was.
A few minutes past as he sat on the front step of the trailer and smoked a cigarette in the morning sun. Polishing off his third he heard a small rustling coming from inside, signalling you'd woken up. Stamping the stub into the ground, Eddie took a sharp breath in before re-entering the trailer.
You were stood in the kitchen dressed in only one of Eddie's shirts you'd found, the sight of which almost caused Eddie's heart to stop. Although he didn't want to objectify you, he had to admit you looked pretty great. Whilst grazing his eyes over you, he did note the MANY hickeys that seemed to be littered across your neck.
"Um... Hi" Eddie said announcing you to his presence in the room
You turned to face the curly haired boy and smiled "Hi"
There was an awkward moment of silence between the two of you as it appeared that neither knew what to say next.
"So um... How did you sleep?" was all Eddie managed to get out
"I slept fine thanks..." you replied, clearly a little unsure about his question
"So I know this is kinda awkward" Eddie began to ramble, dropping his gaze from you and onto the ground "but I can't really remember much about last night anyway and if this is just going to make things weird between us we can just forget about it, I understand if that's what you want"
Eddie waited for you to say something, expected you to sigh with relief and confess to the mistake you'd made. You were surprised by his words, unsure if you should assert that you hadn't thought the night had been a mistake. In fact you were relieved that all that pining and flirting had lead to something.
Recollecting you did smile to yourself as you recalled Eddie's hesitation and constant checking in with you before, during and after. Which had been a nice change compared to any of the other guys you'd been with. Though for such a brave persona Eddie presented to the world, you hadn't anticipated the fact you'd been the one taking control.
You stepped back after a minute or so and looked up at him. Both of you stood in the silence for a second, seemingly trying to work out what the other was thinking or feeling.
"Did you just want to forget about all of it..." you paused for a second "what if I don't want to forget about it?"
"What?"
"What if I don't want to forget about it? What if I don't think it was a mistake?"
"Really?" a small grin slowly spread across Eddie's face as he confirmed your words "I mean if that's what you want as well"
"Eddie I'm the one that suggested quitting the foreplay and just get on to having sex," you laughed "I definitely don't regret what happened"
His eyebrows raised slightly at your strong words "I do like a woman who knows what she wants"
You laughed at his words, pulling yourself inwards towards him.
"I don't think I could forget about last night even if I tried, you certainly left me a hell of a physical reminder," Eddie joked, turning around and pulling up the back of his shirt to reveal your damage "I mean seriously woman, do you have claws or something?"
You eyes widened at the sight and you giggled a little at his last comment "Holy shit, I'm sorry, I didn't even realise I'd done that"
"Oh don’t worry, I don't mind at all" Eddie smoothly stated "maybe... we could even add to the collection?"
With a coy smile he grabbed a hold of your hand and marched you back towards his bedroom. You keenly obliged and slammed the door shut behind you.

Please Talk To Me
Eddie Munson x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You are partners with Eddie for a class assignment and what begins as nothing turns into something else
General fluff, some arguments, no trigger warnings
The sun outside sent a ray of light directly into your eye as you sat in your last class before lunch break. Squinting, you tried to focus on what Mrs O'Donnell was saying but her slow monotone draw made it almost impossible to focus.
It was only a few weeks into the school year and you already knew it was going to be a long few weeks before another break. The seat beside you was empty as always since your desk partner never bothered to show up to class. On the first day assigned seating was announced causing a collective groan from your classmates and thoughts of childhood as you were all pointed to your respective spots.
Your name had been called, followed by another boys name, though no one appeared at the calling of their name. You had plopped down at the desk and assumed he must've been sick but the look on Mrs O'Donnell's face signalled something else.
As each day passed you gained a better understanding of that look as you never actually saw the boy that was meant to sit next to you. You had inquired on the third day as to his whereabouts and your teacher had given you a half-assed response and waved you off.
Looking up at the clock above the black board you were relieved to see you only had a few more minutes left of this god awful class and then you'd be free. You didn't mind English as a subject, but somehow all the life had been sucked out of it by the way it was delivered.
You found your mind wandering and soon you'd tuned out Mrs O'Donnell's words completely until a single phrase sparked your concern.
Sitting back up you zoned in on her words closely "Yes, yes, you all heard me right, group work" she almost seemed to delight in the misery of her students "you will work with you desk partner to complete the assignment on the prescribed text"
You tuned out again as she rambled on about more details that were already known. Your thoughts were occupied by the fact that you hadn't seen your desk partner once and now you had to track him down to do this awful assignment.
The bell rang and the screeching of chairs sounded and everyone leap up from their desks and out the door. You whoever begrudgingly walked over to the teachers desk with your books clutched to your chest.
"Excuse me Mrs O'Donnell" you said catching the attention of the older woman
"I was just wondering if I might be able to switch partners or join another group for the task?"
"Sorry y/n but there will be no changing, you'll just have to work this out with your partner"
"Well that's the other issue... I haven't actually ever even seen this person, I don't even know their name"
"That would be Edward Munson, good luck with that one dear" she gave a dead smile "now off you go, I have things to do"
Walking out into the busy hallway, you signed at the reality of things. You had heard things about Eddie Munson, most people called him a freak or satanic worshipper... So you didn't exactly have high hopes.
Putting your books back in your locker, you grabbed what you needed for your next classes and then headed towards the cafeteria. You didn't exactly know who you were looking for but you had a general idea.
Looking around the large room filled with students bustling about, your eyes were draw to the table with several people wearing leather jackets and strange shirts. They were all laughing loudly at something one of them had said. Approaching the table you stood at the end of it and they all went silent as their eyes fell on you.
"Eddie Munson?" you asked to the group, unsure who you were asking exactly
"Who's asking?" the guy sitting at the opposite end of the table responded
You assumed that had to be Eddie. Your friends had talked about him before and he met the brief that you had overheard from them and other gossips.
"The person you're meant to sit next to in English" you sarcastically retorted "though I suppose you'd only know that if you actually came to a single class"
There was a moment of silence as the boy almost didn't seem to know how to respond to you. His mouth hung open slightly, as if he didn't expect you to speak to him that way.
"Well what do you want then?" he questioned you
"We have to complete an assignment together and since you haven't come to class at all I'd like to get a head start on the work so I preferably don't fail" you didn't give him a chance to say anything else "We'll meet at the library this afternoon after class ok?"
He simply gave you a small nod.
"You do know where the library is right? It's the big place filled with all the books" the entire conversation was boring you and you were already frustrated with his attitude
"Yes I know what a library if, I'm not that stupid" he said rolling his eyes at your comment
"Good" you firmly said, turning and walking away as the table behind you erupted into obnoxious laughter
You were seated in the library waiting for Eddie to join you and you had to admit all you wanted to do was go home right now. Your final lessons of the day hadn't been any better and you were sporting a pretty great headache.
Absentmindedly flipping through the textbook, you didn't notice the denim and leather clad man sit across from you. A light cough pulled you out of your thoughts and your eyes widened at the sight of Eddie. You hadn't actually thought he'd shown up, truthfully you were planning to sit there for a bit and then complain and leave when he didn't show.
"Oh hi" you spluttered at him, quickly trying to organise your noted in front of you
"Hi..." he replied clearly unsure what was happening
Shuffling through your things you found what you needed "Sorry I'm just a bit unorganised"
"You’re the one that asked me here, how are you the unorganised one?"
"Well to be honest I didn't think you'd actually come"
"Wow cut me deep" he said jokingly clutching his hand over his heart
The session with Eddie had been surprisingly productive, despite his complete lack of knowledge of the subject, he happily listened to you explain it all to him. You had gone over the text and made a plan together about how you'd complete the work.
You'd also been surprised at how much you'd enjoyed his company. When you had told your friends at lunch who your partner was they'd all looked shocked and warned you of Eddie. Cautioning you of all the dangers and what to look out for. You'd been expecting some vile person who was awful, but he'd been nothing but nice the whole time.
Packing up your things, you both walked out of the library and exited the school. You hadn't realised the time until now, as the sun had long since set and darkness now enveloped the school parking lot.
"Well" you announced "it was nice meeting you, I'll see you tomorrow hopefully" turning away you began to walk in the direction of the main road
"Woah, woah" you suddenly heard, causing you to turn back around to Eddie "you're not walking home are you?"
"Yeah..." you replied
"I can't let you walk home in the dark alone, let me drop you home" you were taken aback by his offer "it's the least I can do for making you stay so late"
"Ummm" you were sure what to do, on one hand a lift home would be great and on the other you had only spent a few hours with the person that the whole school had dubbed the freak
Eddie took a few steps from you and gestured towards his car, which was in fact a van.
"Please" he insisted "I don't want to see on the news tomorrow that a pretty girl named y/n was kidnapped and murdered by some weirdo in a van"
You laughed at his comment "Eddie" you paused "you drive a van"
"Yes but I swear I'm not a weirdo and I promise not to kidnap or murder you" he smiled at you
"Ok fine, but I swear to god if you murder me I'm going to kill you"
The drive back was nice, Eddie had let you choose the music and you were shocked to see amongst the collection of hard rock was Madonna and Queen.
"Madonna? Queen? Really?" you'd laughed slightly clutching the tapes
"Hey don't hate me for my taste in music" he said keeping his eyes on the road "a man can like more than one thing, it’s called range"
The rest of the ride you'd talked about anything and everything. You'd learnt that it was his second time completing his senior year, hence the absences from classes as some sort of stance against the school. Though you had convinced him that not coming to class wouldn't exactly help his case for graduating.
Pulling up outside your house, you grabbed your bag and jumped out of the van. Before shutting the door you turned back to Eddie and gave him a genuine smile.
"I'll see you at school tomorrow and thank you so much for the ride"
"It was my pleasure"
Shutting the door you made your way inside and tried to ignore the warm tingly feeling in your chest.
In the following next few weeks that became your daily routine and it even became habit that Eddie would drop you to and from school. You enjoyed your time with him, often choosing to spend your free time at his place than at home with your other friends. You both got along really well and had more things in common than you had initially thought.
It had been a random Friday and you were at your locker, once again struggling to stuff all your belongings inside it without it all spilling out.
"Hey y/n" you heard someone say and you shut your locker door to reveal Adam Whitham standing beside you
"Hi Adam..." you responded, unsure as to what exactly he wanted
He leant back into the locker next to your own and fiddled with the hem of his letterman jacket "I was wondering if you would want to go out with me night?"
You were taken aback by his question. Sure you knew of Adam enough, but you'd only had a few classes with him and barely exchanged more than 10 words over the years. He seemed nice enough, you'd never heard anything specifically bad about him and he was on the school basketball team.
"Um, sure, I guess" you replied
"Great" he exclaimed "I'll pick you up at 8, wear something nice"
After scribbling your number and address on the back of his had with a pen from his pocket, Adam simply shot you a smile and headed in the opposite direction.
You weren't exactly sure what had happened until one of your friends Susan rushed up to you and gripped your shoulders. She had a look of excitement splashed across her face as she stood in front of you.
"Oh my god y/n!" she cried "I can't believe Adam just asked you on a date, do you know how amazing this is?!"
You weren't sure how to respond, so you just let out a nervous laugh. Susan seemed more excited about the whole thing than you were and you couldn't help but feel like you were the wrong person doing on this date.
You continued about your day, not thinking too much about the upcoming date. Occasionally a girl in your class would whisper to you to confirm the rumour and you merely confirmed their questioning. You didn't really understand the who drama around it all but you supposed it was a small school and there wasn't much else going on.
That night Susan had come over and helped you get ready for your date. She giddily prepared you and approved of your look before you went downstairs to greet Adam at the door. He had been polite, shaken hand with your dad and smiled at your mums embarrassing comments.
The date was lovely. He'd taken you to the drive-in and you'd watched the movie that was playing for the night. You'd chatted about random things and gotten to know each other. It was lovely and at the end of it all once he drove you home, he turned off the car and you sat in the stillness for a moment.
"I had a really nice time" he said "I hope you did as well"
"I did... Thank you Adam" you replied, leaning across the centre console and pressing a gentle kiss to his cheek
On Monday morning you stood waiting at the curb for Eddie to arrive. As a few minutes passed you found it odd as there was no sight of him and usually he was already outside waiting for you in the mornings.
Walking back in the house you picked up the phone and dialled Eddie's number to check if he was running late. The phone rang and then went to the answering machine, so you assumed he was already at school, maybe had to meet someone early.
Your parents had already left for work and if you started walking now you'd definitely be late. Pausing for a moment you weren't sure who to call when the thought popped into you mind.
"Yeah of course I can come and get you, lucky I'm running a bit behind, be there in 5" Adams' voice called out over the line
"Thanks Adam" you replied and hung the phone back up
School had been boring as usual but that was expected. Walking out into the parking lot you headed in the direction that Eddie usually parked in and were once again surprised to see his van was no where in sight.
You furrowed your brows in confusion as he had definitely been at school today since you'd seen him in the cafeteria. You weren't sure exactly what to think but you didn't have much time to stew in your thoughts as Adam pulled up beside you.
"Need a ride home as well lovely?" he asked sweetly
"That would be so amazing, you're a life saver" you praised, quickly jumping in and throwing your back at your feet
The same strange behaviour continued throughout the week. You'd see Eddie in school, wave at him or call out and smile but he did little to acknowledge your presence. Once again he'd taken to skipping your English class and luckily you'd both already finished the assignment and handed it in.
You had tried to corner the metal head and ask him what was wrong but he always seemed to get away from you. Each night when you knew he'd be at home you called the trailer but he never asked, the phone just automatically went to the answering machine.
The whole thing was starting to annoy you and on top of it all, you truly missed spending time with Eddie. It was until he wasn't in your life did you realise how much time you had been spending together.
A week passed and then another and another and soon it was as if you and Eddie didn't even know each other at all anymore. You didn't bother trying to acknowledge him in the hallway, knowing he wouldn't bother acknowledging you back and it hurt.
This continued until one day when everything had gone to shit. You felt like your life was falling apart and the one person you wanted to talk to wasn't answering your calls.
Frustrated and fed up with his suborn and childish behaviour you decided to walk all the way to the other side of town to the trailer park. The walk had felt short as your mind was full of thoughts and angry scenarios you'd made up.
Stepping up the steps to the door, you angry banged on the door incessantly until it flung open. On the other side was a very confused looking Eddie.
"Um what are you doing here?" he asked at the sight of you on his front step
"I'm here because you need to pull your head out of your ass and talk to me!" you exclaimed, pushing him aside and marching into his home
"I thought you'd be busy with your new boyfriend or something" he retorted callously
"What?" was all you could say, surprised by the tone of his voice "Seriously why are you acting like this Eddie?"
Shaking his head, he lowered his gaze and stared at the floor "It doesn't matter"
"Yes it does matter because I care about you Eddie and this whole not talking to each other is shit!" you said "I miss hanging out with you, I miss talking to you, I miss my friend" you told him "so just tell me what's wrong!"
He gave you this look of sadness as he lifted his head and looked at you "Maybe because I dreamt up this whole thing in my head where I thought I could actually have a chance with a girl like you but I'll never be someone like Adam Whitham" he quietly said
You just stood there silently as Eddie spoke.
"I'll never be the guy who's hand you'll hold on the way to class and I'll never be the guy who everyone is jealous of because your dating and I hate myself for pretending like I could be! You'll never think of me that way and it fucking sucks y/n. It sucks and so I figured that avoiding you would be easier than actually telling you the truth!"
You didn't know what to say. All his words had hit you like a truck and you felt frozen in time. You knew the lack of response was only hurting him more though, as his defeated eyes landed on yours.
Slowly stepping forward, you reached forward and wrapped your hands around his own. Looking up into his eyes, you just waited there for a moment, savouring it.
"Eddie I broke up with Adam" you told him and a look of realisation washed over him and you saw his shoulders fall slightly "I broke up with him because he wasn't you"
"What?" he said in disbelief
"I really like you Eddie"
Without warning you suddenly felt Eddie's lips against your own. You felt one of his hands move to the small of your back and the other wrapped around the back of your neck pulling you in closer.
The kiss enveloped you. You moved without thought and simply melted into his touch.
"I suppose you're ok as well" he laughed and you jokingly punched him in the chest "I'm kidding!” he laughed at your expression I really like you as well y/n"
You didn't think about anything else in that moment. Just let him pull you towards him once more and be greeted with the warmth of his lips.

I Knew It
Eddie Munson x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Eddie is certain he knows you better than you think and he’s determined to prove it.
General fluff, no trigger warnings
It was Friday night and unlike most of your friends, you weren't out at another party, instead you were stuck at home desperately trying to catch up on school work. As if all your teachers knew you had plans this weekend, at the end of each period for the day, they all seemed to assign more work than they'd ever done before.
Most people would likely not bother with the work but despite your distain for homework, you still forced yourself to do it. Flicking over the glossy page of your biology textbook the corner caught your finger and you flinched at the small cut. Rolling your eyes you popped your finger between your lips and continued on.
Mere seconds later whoever you heard a small tapping coming from your window. Your brow furrowed in confusion as you listened again for the sound. There is was again, a gentle tap, tap from behind your curtains.
Getting up, you left your homework behind and headed towards the window. Pulling back the curtains you smiled at the sight before you.
"What took you so long sweetheart?" Eddie jokingly asked as he clambered through the window
"I didn't think you could come tonight?" you replied "What happened to the greatest chapter of the campaign yet?" you chuckled as you emphasised your finals words
"Haha" he mocked back at you "it ended earlier than expected and I thought why waste this perfectly fine evening at home by myself"
"Wow you almost sounded like a gentleman then"
He took a few steps closer towards you and wrapped his arms around your waist. Leaning in he came close enough that you could smell the scent of cigarettes and his aftershave wafting off of him.
"When am I not a gentleman?" he smiled, finally closing the gap between you two and pulling you into a deep kiss
You remember the first time he had kissed you, that you had been surprised at how soft his lips were. The hard exterior he portrayed to the rest of the word certainly hadn't made you think he was a man walking around with Chapstick in his pocket.
"As much as I'd love to keep this going" you said pulling away and placing a hand against his firm chest "I have to finish my biology homework"
Eddie groaned in pain at your words and tightened his grip around you.
"You know..." he muttered whilst peppering gentle kisses along your neck "I know a little bit about biology..." he continued his seductive motions and you leant back into his embrace
"Eddieeee" you whined in a poor attempt to stop him "I'm serious"
"Fine, but I'm staying here and making myself very comfortable on your soft bed"
He flopped down onto your bed as you slowly made your way reluctantly back over to your work. You spent a few minutes taking notes whilst he lay behind you gently humming to himself.
"Can you stop that?" you asked "Stop what?" "You know what" "No I don't"
You swung back around in your chair and gave him your best look of annoyance. He merely looked back at you with a smug grin plastered across his own face.
"I hate you" you said sticking your tongue out at him
"No you don't" he pushed himself up out of his lounging position to look at you better "If you hated me I don't think I'd know what colour underwear you've got on right now"
Your eyes widened at his comment and your mouth fell open slightly.
"Excuse me?" chucking slightly "How do you know this?"
"Well I don't know exactly what ones they are but I have a pretty good idea"
Slamming shut your book, you gave up on getting any homework done for the evening and marched back over to the boy who was causing you more trouble than you needed. Sitting down next to him, he pulled you down to his level and secured his hands on your hips.
What began as a soft, gentle kiss, gradually escalated into a much more steamy make out session. You rolled over on top of him and deepened the kiss, pulling back you looked down at him.
"How are you so gorgeous?" he smiled up at you
"Same could be said for you Munson"
"You know I hate it when you call me that"
"Oh I'm soo sorry, does Eddie not like that" you teased him
"No Eddie does not"
Laughing slightly you leant back down and continued to kiss him more. Slowly his hands trailed down from your neck towards your back and you felt his finger tips brush against your skin. You moved with him as he tugged at the hem of your shirt and you lifted your arms as he pulled it off you.
Copying his own actions, you pulled at his own shirt and he ripped it off it one swift movement. Tracing your fingers across his chest and around his tattoo, you slowly pressed soft kisses down his chest and down his stomach.
He let out a moan at your actions and closed his eyes as he put his head back against the headboard. You continued your direction and slowly began to undo his belt buckle.
Just at you were about to undo it you heard Eddie mutter "I knew it"
You paused what you were doing and looked back up at him.
"What did you just say?" you asked, unsure exactly what he had said
"I knew it" he smiled back at you, however you were still a little confused
"What did you know?"
"Your underwear, it's black just like I knew it would be, see I'm good" he gave you a smug grin
"Seriously? You have a half naked girl on top of your about to take off your pants and all you can think about is that you were right about the colour of my bra?"
"I mean... It's not the only thing I'm thinking about..." he said drifting off into thought, eyes rolling over your figure
"You're such an idiot Eddie Munson" you smiled at him and clutched the sides of his face
"Yeah... But I'm your idiot" he said kissing you passionately once again.

Part 1  Part 2  Part 3  Part 4  Part 5  Part 6

Thursday, July 4
You were all stranded in the mall, your plan ruined. Searching the car that had been in display inside the mall for the part needed to start the car, you heard the voice in the back of your head get louder. Glancing up at the glass ceiling, you noted the slight movement of the reflection as it shuddered. Mike suddenly shouted for his sister and then the ceiling came crashing down as the enormous creature from your dreams appeared.
You felt someone grabbing you and you were pulled behind the car. Cowering behind the vehicle you felt the ground beneath you move as the monster moved around. Glancing to your left you saw Max, El and Mike hiding a few feet away from you, suddenly you saw them appear and make a dash toward one of the stores. Your heart stopped as they ran over the broken glass and El let out a cry a pain, causing the monster to fling around towards them.
Your head pounded and the voices continued as you tried to slow your fast breathing. You could hear it muttering, searching for El, all it different voices speaking in turns. Just as Lucas made a distraction, the five of you took the opportunity and jumped over the counter and ran towards the corridors behind it.
"Pop the hood!" you shouted as you ran to the car and Jonathan threw the part to you and you attached it. The engine continued to splutter as he tried to start it and then you heard the roar of the familiar engine. Next to you Nancy stood and began firing her gun as Billy sped towards us. You froze as she shot directly at your brother and the headlights got closer and closer, some part of you relieved that she kept missing. Suddenly just at you expected a collision, another car slammed into the side of Billy's, sending it skidding off track. Looking over at who had hit him, you saw Steve and Robin at the wheel of the car.
No time was wasted as you all quickly got into the car that Jonathan had managed to start and you drove away, the monster right behind you. Speeding down the road, you heard the radio begin to go off and suddenly the voice of Dustin and another girl come through. They began to discuss the number that was needed and then without warning... Start singing.
As you all frantically drove down the dark back roads being chased by the foul creature, you shared a confused look with the others in the car at the singing coming from the walkie.
"It's turning around!" Steve suddenly exclaimed "What?" Nancy said, spinning around and looking out the rear window "Maybe we wore it out?" Lucas tried to suggest "I don't think so" Jonathan replied "Hold on" he said before spinning the car around and heading back in the direction it was headed
You'd made it back to the mall, rushing inside you saw the creature once more standing in the centre of the large open space. The others quickly dispersed the fireworks that Lucas had brought with him, but your eyes focussed on the figured down below. Your brother stood there, looming over El who was crumpled onto the tiled floor.
Without giving it a second thought, you ran towards the frozen escalators, and quickly moved down them towards the two. Above you, you heard someone shout something and then an explosion sounded into the air.
Your body suddenly fell as you felt a shock slam into the side of your frame. It sent you to the floor and your felt yourself quiver in anguish at the sensation. Then another hit you, and another and another.
Peeling your eyes open, you saw Billy on the floor mimicking the same movements as yourself. You assumed it must have something to do with your connection to the mind flayer and to Billy. Forcing yourself onto your knees, you crawled your way over to where they were at the edge of the walkway.
Gasping for air, you kept moving. It felt as if you were moving at a snails pace, but soon enough you were in arms reach of the teenage girl.
"El" you uttered and she turned her head towards you and grabbed your outstretched arm.
You pulled her towards you, when suddenly her hand was ripped from your grip and you looked up to see Billy pulling her back away. Forcing yourself to stand, you scrambled over to them as Billy began slamming El into the ground. You knew he was stronger than you, so with all your might, you ran into the side of him, knocking him off El.
You both groaned from the impact and you desperately tried to grab a hold of him. It felt like a childish fight as the two of you fought against each other, trying to restrain the other. You continued to wrestle with him as your body was on fire from the impacts to the monster. Billy threw you to the side and you groaned as you thudded against something hard. He stood back up and marched back over to El, pinning her down against the floor.
You tried to move, tried to tell your body to get back up but you felt so weak. Everything hurt and the pounding in your head didn't help.
"Seven feet" a voice suddenly broke through to you, "you told her the wave was seven feet"
You rolled your head to the side and looked back over to where your brother was. The words seemed to have broken through to him as well as he stood over El, completely frozen.
"You ran to her on the beach" she continued to say "there were seagulls, she wore a hat with a blue ribbon, a long dress; with a blue and red flower and yellow sandals, covered in sand" you could picture the exact day, the image becoming more clear with each word that fell from her lips "She was pretty, she was really pretty and you... You were happy... You both were"
Suddenly the pounding in your head ceased, as if a veil had been lifted your mind cleared. The moment of relief quickly passed however as you saw Billy slowly rise from the floor and stand before the roaring creature.
"Billy" you muttered "Billy no... What are you doing?"
All he did was look back at you with a saddened look in his eyes, a look you knew was truly him. The mind flayer let out a giant cry once again and once of its claws shot out from his mouth. You hadn't anticipated what would happen next. You felt yourself freeze.
Billy threw up his hands and caught the monsters assault. He cried out in pain as it clawed at him and then another arm crashed into his side.
"NO" you felt yourself uncontrollably scream at the sight, you clambered off the ground as more and more of those things stabbed into your brother.
Jumping forward you flung yourself in between him and the monster. Time paused for a second, you didn't remember seeing the final blow coming towards you, you only felt the searing pain moments later. Glancing down you saw the foul arm that had gone straight through your side and then rip back as it pulled back all its arms.
In the distance you heard someone screaming, but you weren't sure who it was. As if it was muffled, you heard more cries and banging around you, but they didn't seem to be fully comprehended. You simply turned back around and saw the limp figure of your brother at your feet.
You fell to the ground at the sight.
"Billy, Billy?" you desperately gasped, grabbing a hold of his shoulders "come on, you're doing to be fine, just say something to me" you could feel tears running down your cheeks but you ignored them "please" you whispered "just say something" "I'm sorry" he managed to get out, blackened blood coating his lips "No, don't say that, this isn't a goodbye, you're going to be ok," you cried out in vein "you have to be" "I'm so sorry y/n" he repeated "I love you ok"
You collapsed into his chest, squeezing his close at you felt the rise and fall of his breathing slow. Gasping for air you couldn't comprehend what was happening, you couldn't stop the fall of tears.
"Billy? Billy? Please, no, no" you heard Max's voice appear behind you but you couldn't pull yourself away from your brothers body.
You wanted to be able to lift yourself up and hold your younger sister in your arms but you couldn't. You knew it's what you should've been able to do but every part of you felt broken. Gasping for air between cries, you clung onto your twins limp body beneath you. You'd never felt so truly alone. He was gone.
You weren't sure how long you stayed like that. You couldn't feel the pain in your side, you couldn't feel anything as you lay there. At some point someone picked you up, as much as you tried to fight and object, they hadn't listened and pulled you away from your brother. Your head lulled back as you were carried away, and as you rounded the corner you looked upon Billy for the last time.
What happened next was unclear. You weren't sure who was carrying you, but you knew you were outside from the air. Suddenly you felt your body being laid down onto something firm and then there were many mumbled voiced around you, many hands going over your body.
You didn't care what was happening, everything felt like a daze. You let your eyes stay shut and gradually you felt you mind drift off into nothingness.
When you woke up the sting of a bright white light met you first. Squinting, you looked around you at the room and realised you were in a hospital. Then it all slowly came back to you, the events of everything and you felt as if your mind was going to explode. That's when you felt the shift next to you and realised someone was pressed up against your side. Glancing down you saw the head of red hair and then the girl that came with it. Max was curled up against you side, squeezed into the tiny hospital bed.
There were no flowers or letters in the room, no other members of support, but your sister was at your side. She was fast asleep and you soon re-joined her, ignoring all that had happened, focussing on the comfort beside you.
Months had passed, it felt like life was beginning to be a bit normal again, though you weren't exactly sure what normal really was. You had tried to just go about life as it had been before, spending as much time as you could at work and the rest either sleeping or stoned. It was strange, you didn't know why you felt so upset at Billy being gone. For years he had treated you like crap, but you had still loved him in a weird way, so now there was just this hole.
You and Max had gotten closer during this period, the absence of your brother and the trauma of that night, bringing you together. The house still felt strangely empty.
Though you had always hated Billy's constant smoking and roar of his car engine, you for some reason now missed the smell of his cigarettes and the sound of his car.
Your dad was different as well, oddly distant. You hadn't been sure what to expect from him. It wasn't as if he was about to win any father of the year awards, but you also had hoped maybe he'd be upset by it all. You had decided to sell your car as well, choosing to keep Billy's. You had always liked his car and a part of you didn't want to get rid of it.
Amongst it all, a welcomed change was a addition of two new members at your work. Robin and Steve had appeared one day as you were stocking shelves, and you'd shot them a small smile. Since then you'd gotten closer with the two of them and it at least provided some company whilst you worked.
There wasn't much you could do to make everything seem fine, but you did your best to distract yourself and that had to be enough for now.

Unbelievable / Steve Harrington x Reader
Part 6
*trigger warning - mentions of abuse*
fluff, slowburn, flashbacks, etc.
Part 1  Part 2  Part 3  Part 4  Part 5
Edited: currently unedited
Thursday, November 1 1984
The morning following your night with Steve Harrington, you’d been getting ready for school when Billy burst through the door. He has this look of betrayal written across his face attempted to be disguised by anger. You didn’t bother to greet him or attempt to pretend you didn't know why he was there, just met his gaze and stared right back at him.
"Do you have anything to say to me?" he questioned you "Can't say I do" "Really? Well what do you call last night then?" "I call it being an independent woman who can do whatever the hell I want with whoever the hell I want to" "Don't push me" he said grabbing a hold of your arm, forcing you to look away from whatever you had been doing and face him properly "Let me go" you firmly replied, ignoring his words, pulling you arm away from him "don't pretend you actually care Billy, I know this is more about what people might day than you actually giving a shit about me"
He didn't say anything back to you, let the words sit in the air and fester. With a huff he trudged back out of your room and you let out a sigh of relief. You hadn't wanted the confrontation and were grateful he hadn't been bothered to actually have a real fight.
You knew that your little event with Billy’s chosen rival would illicit anger from your twin, though a part of you still wished he could be a normal protective brother. You weren’t asking for him to unleash a wave of emotion, but maybe just a smile or at least a lack of threats. It likely would end up being worst for Steve, than yourself, as he was already receiving the brunt of Billy’s aggression at school.
During most of your older years, Billy hadn’t shown much interest in what you did, though you could recall when he had actually shown some sympathy. It had been back in California, back when you had a little more hope and optimism towards life. He hadn’t been explicitly supportive of you, more a quiet acknowledgement, but it had still meant something to you.
1982
You had genuinely had feelings for one person in the past. His name had been Daniel and he had kind eyes. You remember how he had walked you home after school each day, even though he lived in the opposite direction from you. How he made sure you had eaten during the day; since you often forgot, and always had a spare snack for you. He'd been kind. He had been the first boy or man up to that point in your life that had been a truly kind and caring person.
The adjustment to your family dynamic had been difficult for everyone once Max and her mum joined your father, Billy and yourself. You hadn't done much to address it, tried to just accept it and make the most of the situation. But what Billy had been like before, just became worst with their presence. So, you had involved yourself in other things to stay distant and distracted.
Extra-curriculars helped, you joined soccer and track, and the late night library also helped. You may have only been young but your dad didn't care enough to worry where you were so late. Daniel cared though. You didn't even know this boy and he had approached you late one night in the school library.
"Hi, can I join you?" he asked, sliding into the seat across from you as you nodded your head. There had been a few minutes without conversation and then he spoke once more, "I'm Daniel, and you are?" "Y/N" you replied "Well y/n you must have a lot of homework, cause I see you in here every day after school" "You must have a lot yourself Daniel if your here as well"
He chuckled at your remark and smiled. His laugh was genuine and when he laughed he threw his head back slightly.
"Suppose you caught me there, but what if I told you I was here because of a pretty girl I've been trying to talk to?" "I'd think she'd say you need to work on your pick-up lines" "It worked didn't it?"
You'd spoken all night, you couldn't remember much, he was a Junior and you a Sophomore and you hung out each day from then on. He didn't have a car but would come pick you up each morning and walk to school with you, then walk you back at the end of the day. It took him three weeks to work up the courage to properly as you out and then another week to be his girlfriend. You'd said yes of course. For the first time in a long time things were good.
You'd dated for a year and within that year a lot happened. You felt safe with Daniel, felt like you could trust him, be yourself around him. But you still had the issue of your dad and Billy. You tried to not talk about your relationship when you were around them, of course Billy knew of it since you went to school together but luckily he never brought it up either.
One night however it had been an issue. You father had been his usual consistent self and you'd gotten in between him and Billy once again. You'd been shoved around and knocked about a bit, which had been really unfortunate timing since Daniel was picking you up that night to take you out. He'd gotten a car a few days prior and had been set on driving out to the Lake to impress you. You'd hastily applied concealer underneath your eye and were satisfied with the cover, before rushing outside.
Before long you'd arrived at Lovers Lake and you began kissing. Whilst in the car, you felt Daniel's hands roaming down your side and drifting towards your hips. In that moment his thumb pressed firmly against your pelvic bone and you flinched in pain, recoiling away from him.
"What's wrong?" he quickly asked, furrowing his brow in concern "Nothing, nothing, I'm fine" "No you're not, what's wrong?"
You shuffled slightly, trying to re-adjust your shirt to cover your side properly but the light from the moon hit is just right and you noted his eyes go wide. His gaze locked onto you lower abdomen and you quickly covered it with you hand and turned away.
"Y/n... What's that?" he softly said "It's nothing, please just ignore it" you'd pleaded with him, embarrassed that he'd even seen it
He reached forward to where you were pressed against the car door and slowly lifted you shirt up. You closed your eyes, as you knew he'd be looking at the multi-coloured markings adorning your stomach. They weren't all from that night, those were still red and fresh, others were shades of deep blue and purple and other a softer yellow, indicating their age. Silence enveloped the car for what had felt like eons.
Then you heard the ignition staring and without any words, he pulled out of the parking space and started driving. You were unsure where he was going until you recognised he was taking you home. He had pulled up at the curb out the front of your house and let out a gentle sigh.
"Y/n you know I really like you... But I don't know if I can be with someone who does this to themselves, it's too much for me... Please don't hate me" his words hit you like a tonne of bricks
Someone who had done with to themselves. He had thought what he had seen was self inflicted, hadn't even bothered to ask you what had happened before jumping to his own conclusion. How dare he. How dare he also act like it was so shameful if it was self inflicted. He was casting you aside because it was all to scary and hard for him. You sat their in disbelief for a few moments and then got out. You didn't say anything as you shut the car and walked up the front path and you heard him drive away.
All of it had hurt, but that had been the first time in over a year, that the boy you had loved hadn't watched you safely make it inside and that hit you the hardest.
From then on you basically had come to the view that all boys did was use and abuse. You'd kept your distance, done what you wanted to do and then left before they could get any closer. Moving had also helped you in that regard, a whole new group of untapped potential and that had been your intention leading into that night of Halloween. You didn't exactly have a plan, but just went into it, welcoming whatever would happen.
You'd been in gym class that day, running laps around the track alongside other girls in your class, whereas the guys were inside the gym playing basketball. You fell into a mindless rhythm as you ran, letting your legs do the work and your mind wander. As you rounded the bend you spotted two figured between the buildings arguing about something and you recognised them as Harrington and Wheeler, clearly having a heated discussion. Continuing on, that's when you saw your possibly new best friend hiding at the edge of the bleachers. Jogging away from the track unnoticed, you gave him a smile as you approached.
"How are you y/n?" "Just fine Eddie darling, what have you got for me today?" You had only been at the school for a week and already tracked down the dealer on campus "Well I don't have much right now, but just cause I like you, I'll give you 3 rolled for a tenner?" he smiled, reaching into his metal lunch box "Suppose it's got to be a yes then" you handed him the money and shoved the joints into your bra "I truly love and appreciate you Eddie" you smirked and he let out a little laugh at your comment
You headed back toward the changing rooms as you noticed all the others heading that way as well. As you went to walk back inside, someone grabbed you by the shoulder and pulled you to the side.
"Jesus Christ Harrington, what is your problem?" you exclaimed "Sorry, sorry, I didn't know how else to get your attention" "I dunno, maybe just by talking to me?" You retorted "That's generally how normal human beings communicate"
He awkwardly stood in front of you for a moment, eyes focussed on his feet as he shuffled from side to side.
"Well..." you said "What do you want?" "Um... Well... You know... Just about last night..." he seemed to not be able to get all the words out to fully make a sentence "Yes last night Harrington, we had sex" you continued for him "what about it?" "Well um... So this is awkward" "Yes this is. For you. What are you trying to say? Seriously, I don't have all day" "You haven't told anyone have you? Because I just broke up with my girlfriend and I don't know fully what's happening there and um... well... I just don't know what you think happened...?"
You could tell he was so genuinely concerned about what happened, it was kind of sweet. Grabbing a hold of his shoulders, you looked in right in the eye.
"Relax Steve" you spoke slowly "I'm not about to profess my undying love for you or anything. Believe it or not girls can also use guys for sex, so calm down and take a breath"
Letting go of him, you saw him shoulders relax and he took a breath in.
"I'm sorry about all that, and I'm sorry about last night" he said to you "I was upset and it shouldn't have happened, so could you please do me a favour and not tell anyone?" "Don't worry Harrington, despite your beliefs, it wasn't all that special of a night for me either. You might be good in the equipment department, but you might want to work on your stamina a bit more" you stated, patting him on the back and walking away

Summary - Y/N Hargrove, the twin sister of Billy Hargrove. People liked to make their assumptions, whisper and point as you went past, but they didn’t know what happened behind closed doors. The slamming doors, raised voices and poorly hidden bruises. Hawkins was meant to be different, somehow a new start from your old life left behind in California. That’s when the headaches started, the nightmares that felt so real, the unexplainable events and blackouts.

Thursday, July 4
You always felt like a bit of an outsider, watching from the edge, staying safe and reserved. Billy was involved in it all, found comfort in the chaos. You couldn’t think about the relationship that had been between you two. You were close as twins usually are before your mother left, she allowed you to be yourselves. After she had left your father had moulded Billy into the type of man he should be and left you to fend for yourself. You knew he resented you for looking like your mother, a constant reminder of the woman he thought let him down and wronged him.
There were moments when Billy acted like the brother he used to me. You remembered when at school some asshole had grabbed you at a party and Billy had lost it, thrown him to the ground and nearly beat him to a pulp. He did these big bold acts of service to prove something and then refuse to acknowledge what he had done was because he cared for you. There was a part of you that wished you solely hated him but he was still your twin and you loved him.
You just kept thinking of what he had said to you, despite the lifelessness in his eyes and yet his words seemed true. You didn't know what to think... You still didn't know what was happening, you were only guessing at this stage. But your gut told you that something was really wrong.
Lifting your fist to the old wooden door you knocked softly several times and were shocked when it flung open so quickly. Behind it stood your younger sister looking very concerned and a few other people including some of Max's friends that you had seen before, as well as, Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers, who had been a year below you at school. You were quickly ushered inside and you felt uncomfortable under the eyes of each person in the room.
"Hi..." you said awkwardly breaking the silence and making eye contact with El, she stood up and walked right over to where you were standing near the doorway "How did you do it?" was all she said "I don't know" you didn't have an answer for her, you had no clue how or what you had clued into before back at the house "one minute I was just standing in the living room and the next I was wherever you where, I still don't even know if it was real or not"
You felt like you weren't panicking enough. What was happening was truly insane and yet you were just stood there talking about it matter-of-factly, as if it were a normal nightly thing. You watched as everyone in the room seemed to share a look amongst them and slowly nod at the silent words they'd all shared. You hadn't been entirely prepared for what they said next though. They all began to tell you about this alternate world that was like yours but different and the evil that inhabited it. Each person seemed to tell a chunk of the story as it related to them and continued to tell you about the strange events that had been occurring specifically over the past few days. That's when they started to tell you about the connection it all had to Billy but how they couldn't figure out what was going on with you.
"Now y/n I know this all sounds insane but its the truth" Max said to you "when they first told me I didn't believe it but you have to trust us" "I do" was all you said in reply "What?" Max seemed confused at your assuredness "I believe you... All of it" you confirmed for them again "I've seen it. I've felt like I've been losing my mind the past few days, seeing things that weren't there, hearing voices, but now it all makes sense... Now I know I'm definitely insane" you saying finished with an uneasy chuckle "What do you mean you've been seeing things?" Nancy then asked you furrowing her brow "This creature thing, I don't know how tall... I keep seeing it... I don't know why" "Spider-like body? Slimy... No eyes and razor sharp teeth?" Nancy continued to ask "Yeah..." you replied unsteadily "exactly it"
You didn't get a chance to think much else, as a sharp pain stabbed through the side of your head and a ringing echoed in your ears. You clutched your hands to your ears and felt your knees hit the hard wooden floors. Suddenly you began to hear the voice, calling you, enticing you to come to it.
"Y/n? What's happening, are you ok?" Max asked and you felt her touching your shoulder "Do you guys here that?" You heard Nancy ask the room before you could reply to Max's question "It's just the fireworks" Jonathan tried to assure her "Billy... When he told you this, it was here, in this room?" Nancy asked
There was a moment of silence in the room and you knew that wasn't good. The voices began to get louder and you could feel heavy vibrations through the floor and you could feel it getting closer.
"It's coming, I can hear it" you whispered "He know we're here" Will added as well
The room became frantic as everyone tried to prepare for what was coming. You helped move furniture to cover the windows but your head was still pounding. Nancy returned back from the shed with a shotgun in hand, Jonathan with an axe and the teenage boy passed you one as well.
"Hey get away from the windows" Nancy instructed the kids and you all huddled together in the centre of the room.
Waiting you all just stood there, listening to the rustling coming from outside the cabin. You edged closer to Max, comforted by her presence and shifted your body in front of her own. You gripped the axe tightly, the aged wood handle stabbing into your palms. Everything began to rattle around you, the lamp shades started to swing and the plates in the drying wrack clattered against each other.
"It's close" Will said and you looked up at the trees through the window shaking "Where'd it go?" Max asked as it fell quiet once more
Then something smashed through one of the windows, sending wood flying and everyone scattered as it flew into the room. You recognised it as one of those hideous tentacle things that creature had. Putting your arms out, you weren't sure who else was behind you but you pushed them against the wall and stared at the thing that hissed at you. Raising your axe, Jonathan beat you to it and hit it several times before it flung towards him and threw him into the other wall. It tried to go after him, but Nancy began to fire bullets straight at it, though nothing seemed to be stopping it.
Then you felt someone behind you push out front behind your arms. El stepped in front of you and reached out at the tentacle that was going straight for Nancy that was fresh out of bullets. She lifted her arm and the thing seemed to quiver in pain as she did something to it. You weren't sure exactly what you were witnessing, they had only briefly said that El had 'powers' but you didn't know how you prepare yourself for that. El flung her hand downwards and the head of the tentacle came off.
There was no moment of pause though, as another came flying into the cabin and then a second, both stopped and ripped apart by El. In that moment as all of you were in shock, the roof fell and another part of the creature grabbed a hold of the girl. El screamed as it dragged her, but you all ran to her, grabbing her and trying to pull her back. Nancy started to shoot at the bigger head of the creature and you remembered your axe. Grabbing it, you began swinging at what was holding El, Lucas joined you and you cut it off. El fell to the ground and cried out in pain as they ripped the thing from her ankle.
With one final scream, El rose up and lifted both hands towards the creature. She exclaimed and threw her arms to the sides and the monster slip down the centre and fell to the ground.
"Go, Go!" someone shouted and you followed them all as they ran from the destroyed cabin and outside, piling inside the car before screeching away from the scene.
Your heart was going at a million miles an hour, but you didn't have time to think. Your younger sister's friend, who you'd just found out had powers, was crying out in pain next to you as Nancy Wheeler practically flew down the streets of Hawkins. Pulling into the supermarket parking lot, you smashed the glass window with a rock and stepped inside the empty store.
"Ok, get her down" Nancy said "Oh, shit" Max exclaimed as the sight of El's ankle as her pant leg was pulled up
Nancy went to clean the wound but Max quickly told her what to do, assuring her of her medical skills with how much she dealt with as a skater. Everyone began to separate throughout the supermarket, so you got up as well to see if you could find something to help. You weren't sure what you were meant to be doing, unsure about anything that had just happened.
"You're dealing with this surprisingly well" you turned around to Max standing there "Well I guess if you just don't think about it, there's no time to actually freak out about it all" you replied "I'm sorry you're involved in all this" "Whoa, whoa, whoa" you walked up to her "don't apologise for this, it's not your fault, I can't believe you've been dealing with all this all by yourself" "Well I'm not by myself" she assured you, gesturing her head in the direction of the others "And I'm glad you've got them... I'm just disappointed I didn't know all this was going on with you. I know you couldn't have talked to be before about this, but after this, we need to have a real talk"
She simply nodded at your words and you pulled her into a quick hug. Separating you both heard a small commotion in the aisle next to you and quickly went towards it. Mike frantically told you there was a 'code red' and they needed to find their friend Dustin. Everyone started to move around as they go El cleaned up and ready to locate Dustin somehow. You stood there as El used her mind to find him, which was apparently the same thing she'd done with Billy and how you'd also seen her, though she wasn't sure how you ended up in Billy's mind.
Dustin was at the movies at Starcourt mall according to El, which didn't make much sense to anyone. From what Mike had heard, Dustin said something about a gate which was of significantly concern to those around you. Collecting the fireworks Lucas had found, you wheeled one of the supermarket trolleys filled with them back to the car and began heading to the mall.
You stayed silent the whole ride, listening in to the small conversations going on around you. They all seemed concerned, yet so casual about the whole thing, making jokes and talking as normal. Every now and then silence would fill the car and the feeling of dread would become more apparent. Max was making fun of Lucas' plan and Nancy and Jonathan were bickering in the front seat about something you couldn't make out.
Rushing into the mall you looked down into the mall food court from the balcony that you stood on and saw the four figures dressed in black approaching one of the restaurants with their guns raised. The alarm of the car of display sounded, causing the men to turn around before El propelled the car through the air and at them. From behind the restaurant bar four people appeared and you immediately recognised one of them as they looked up at you.
You all made your way down towards them, as they four of them ran to where you guys where. They all said their greetings and you just stood back and watched, feeling very out of place amongst the larger group.
"I don't understand what happened to that car" the girl who you vaguely recognised said "El has superpowers" Dustin quickly replied "I'm sorry?" "Superpowers. She threw it with her mind, c'mon catch up" "That's El?" "Who's El?" "I'm sorry, who are you?" Nancy injected into the rapid conversation "I'm Robin I work with Steve"
They all continued to talk amongst themselves frantically, mentioning something about secret codes and those men apparently being evil Russians. You zoned out of what they were saying as the ringing returned to your ears. Through it you noticed El slowly walking away from the group and bringing her hands up to her ears, just as you were doing, she stood there for a second and then collapsed to the ground.
"My leg, my leg" she gasped "Ok, it's ok" you tried to reassure her
You peeled back the already reddened bandages that Max had applied earlier and everyone let out an audible groan and the sight of the wound. It looked significantly worst that it had done less than an hour before and you could see something moving beneath the skin. El continued to scream louder as Mike desperately tried to help her and hold her still.
"Keep her talking, keep her awake" Jonathan said before running off and you all tried to move El as she wailed in pain
"You know, it's not actually that bad. There was a... The goalie on my soccer team, Beth Wildfire,  this other girl slid into her leg, and the bone came out of her knee, six inches or something, it was insane" you all looked up at the girl rambling with confusion at the contribution of her story in this moment "Robin" Steve interrupted her "Yeah?" "You're not helping" "I'm sorry"
You felt bad for Robin, she clearly had no idea what was going on and you'd likely be acting as she was in this situation if you hadn't already been losing your mind the past few days. Though you likely wouldn't be in this situation at all if you hadn't of lost your mind. Jonathan return back to where you were with a wooden spoon, glove on and a large knife in hand.
"Ok, all right El, this is going to hurt like hell ok" and you already knew exactly what Jonathan was going to do
You thought you were going to be sick as he cut into El's leg and then stuck his fingers in. You had to look away at the sight. That's when you heard it and you seriously thought you might be sick. You could hear it muttering, like it was trying to say something but since it wasn't apart of the bigger thing, couldn't form real words. It was hissing, trying to grow and return to its' home. You tried to block out the noise but you couldn't. That's when El started screaming louder and you heard her begging Jonathan to stop. You glanced back at what was going on and saw as El sat up and took a deep breath and reached out towards her leg. She began to shout louder than she had done before and suddenly the glass behind  you shattered. Lifting her arm up, the small arm of the creature was pulled from her leg and she threw it across the room, you watched it start to crawl away but was then suddenly crushed. You all looked up at the three adults that stood before you and you heard the others around you sigh.
They had all assembled together and began discussing what was going on, with the Hopper and Joyce Byers, who Max had filled you in on. You sat to the side, ignoring the conversation just trying to deal with the throbbing ache of your head. You had hoped that the creature was dead, but this assured you that it most certainly was not. There had been a brief moment when El had split it in half that your headache had ceased for the first time in days, but now it had returned stronger than before.
"Hey, are you ok?" you opened your eyes to Max worriedly standing over you "Yeah, I'm fine. How's El?" you intentionally deflected the conversation "She's... Not great, but she'll be ok" "That's good" you paused "How are you?" "Ask me tomorrow?" she coyly remarked
With the adults suddenly arriving, it had been decided they would stay and go down to the Russian laboratory below the mall that the others had stumbled across. The group Dustin had deemed 'Scoops Troop' had left just moments before to get to the radio tower to assist then whilst they were in the tunnels and your own group 'Griswold Family' were to get to the dungeon of a home the strange guy Murray had. You helped Mike and Max get El into Nancy's car and you got into the back seat. Nancy went to start the car up but nothing happened, the engine just spluttered as she turned the key.
"What's wrong?" Jonathan asked "I don't... I don't know" Nancy replied, continuing to try and start the station wagon "You can't be serious come on!" "Didn't your mum just buy this car?" Lucas questioned as she didn't stop trying to start the vehicle
Will and Lucas continued to make unhelpful comments, but you decided to get out, going to check what the issue was.
"Pop the hood" you told Nancy, as you walked to the front of the car, taking one look you immediately saw what was missing "we've got a problem" you shouted back "What?" Jonathan asked and Nancy appeared by his side "The ignition cables gone" you said, pointing towards the spot where it was meant to be
Suddenly the rev of an engine sounded out in the distance and the three of you whipped around to look at where it had come from. That blue car. Headlights pointed straight at you, engine revving like a warning. It sat still in the parking lot watching you and you knew exactly who was behind the wheel. You tried to see through the brightness of the lights but they filled your vision. Your stomach sank as the realisation set in that the Billy you had known was gone.
