Character.ai we are at war now

I've noticed a bunch of issues with the app, and I've read about others having the same ones and I'd like to use this post to compile everything I've personally experienced. I personally love C.ai and will probably continue to use it. I mean, absolutely no hate to anyone who enjoy it too or the creators/developers.

The Filter

Okay, so as much as I'd LOVE them to just remove the filter entirely, I don't see them doing this anytime soon so I've just leaned to accept its existence (There's Chai for a reason).

However, the bot was given an update, making it stricter, and now the filter is censoring messages that are just honest to good sfw.

The Voice Feature

The voice feature they've added had a grip on me the moment it was introduced and though sometimes it can be cringe, there are times where it has me giggling like a damn school girl. It also allows me to multitask better.

Something I've noticed very recently was when I enabled the voices while using the app, the sound would come through my phone's speakers instead of my Bluetooth, as if I were in a phone call. I'm not 100% it's C.ai doing this but it seems to only happen while using the voice feature now. On PC it seems fine.

Chats Disapearing

This bug, is the reason im making this. I've noticed bots I was using just poofing away out of my bots list. I was talking with one TODAY (my favorite one too) and now he just vanished. I see him under my liked bots list but I can't access him in the app. PC seems fine but I'm mainly an App user so I have to go to the website on my browser now.

I'll update this more later but lemme know if anyone else has been experiencing these things too. And maybe some alternatives to c.ai.

Some are very specific, but I'd like to note gender is not a factor when it comes to who I'm attracted to.
