another note: the twins definitely know what they're doing 😉
Tumblr media
You've grown familiar with Suna Rintaro's daily routine for who knows how long—long enough to recognize his habits and routines such as volleyball, casual banter with the twins, and being perpetually glued to his phone.
As you were making your way towards the place where you normally have lunch, Suna was absorbed in a mobile game and unconsciously wandering about. After losing another round, he hissed for the nth time. You keep a close eye on him, apprehending that he is unaware of his surroundings.
"Excuse me!!!" someone yelled from the back. A group of students carrying boxes rushes through. You stepped aside to give them more room to pass, but Suna maintained his pace.
"Watch out, Rin," you cautioned, tugging on his sleeve and holding him close to you until the students passed.
You tried to give him a mild reprimand for not paying attention; instead, he flashed a rare smile and uttered, "I know you're always there to keep an eye on me.
You averted your gaze to the side at his response. His words lingered, tugging at the strings of your emotions, and you found yourself momentarily breathless.
No. Actually, everything he says and does for you makes your heart skip a thousand beats. You felt the tips of your fingers go cold. You silently wished for a split second to keep your emotions at bay.
"Suna!~ Y/n!~"
The appearance of the twins disrupted the moment, and Suna's reaction was palpable. Atsumu and Osamu casually walk toward you too. You didn't miss the way Suna's left eye twitched, possibly because of their appearance or maybe because of how loud they are. Or maybe both.
Amidst the chaos, you were startled when you felt a large, warm, calloused hand on your hand. Suna grasped your hand and carefully tugged it off of his sleeve, making you realize that you still clung to his sleeve.
"Your hands feel cold. Are you 'lright?" he inquired.
"Hmm-. Y-yeah. I'm fine. Must be the cold weather," you stammer awkwardly as you reach for your hands, but Suna firmly grasps your hand with both of his hands, seemingly forgetting about his previous activity.
'Oh goodness,' you thought as you noticed your heartbeat quickening.
Lunchtime unfolded, and you found yourselves sharing a table. Except for Suna, who doesn't make lunch for himself, the rest of you settled on one of the tables and took out your own lunches. The twins hatched a mischievous plan involving Suna's phone as soon as he handed over his phone to head to the counter to order his own lunch.
As soon as he leaves, the twins seize an opportunity to play a prank on Suna's phone when he heads to the counter. The twins, mainly Atsumu, flop themselves beside you, ripping out the phone from your hand, to which you quickly protested.
You hesitated, but eventually succumbed. Unlocking his phone discreetly, you wish Suna hadn't changed his phone's lock after seeing how many times he unlocked it.
As his phone got unlocked, the three of you clamored quietly, the twins comically shaking you. You took notice that his wallpaper display is a blurred silhouette of you, but before you could fully recognize it, the twins attempted to invade his phone, only to be thwarted by password-protected apps. In a spontaneous move, they redirected the camera toward you, capturing candid moments.
"Such a bummer."
"You scumbags," Suna cussed as the twins fled off the scene. You, on the other hand, lowered your head, fully aware that you were complicit in the crime. You braced yourself for what he was going to say, only to have him tell you to continue to eat.
A little later, while Suna opened and checked his phone, he flopped on his bed with one hand behind his head. checking each app to see if the three of you had changed or discovered anything.
He was lying on his bed as he scrolled through his phone. He smiles bashfully as he examines each photo, somehow thinking of how he will confess to you someday.
The first smile after finding out about the stolen shots withered away when facing the twins' stunts. He erased their photographs in haste, but he paused on the candid snaps of you with a shy smile as his future disclosure.

He boinks a book at you when he notices you dozing off, even though you invited him for a review at the library.
It was expected that his presence at a study session you had organized would boost your motivation to review more. However, the sheer boredom of you—the library and staleness, with lamps flickering in—created by such a dull background was working against you. However, as you focused on your notes, fatigue set in, and your eyelids began to droop.
On the other side of the table, Karma was partially immersed in his world, playing video games on his phone. He watched you fight against the advancing wave of sleep without your knowledge. His mind, however, was unconventional and quick to find new approaches even in silence, so he selected some method of making you stay awake.
Karma smiled slyly as he picked up a nearby book and figured out its direction before throwing it at you. The book hit softly against your head with a ‘boink.’ The shock hit you suddenly, and you glared at him aggressively.
"Karma, really?" you cried out, massaging the area of your head where the book hit.
He stared at you innocently, as if amazed. He quipped, "Hey! You were drifting off. Just doing my part to keep you alert and focused." His reply made you scoffed.
The unexpected wake-up call worked. The interruption caused by Karma had effectively broken down your sleepiness, which was looming large over you. Even if his approach was a little absurd, your lips curled slightly as you realized that, despite the circumstances, Karma had managed to maintain punctuality and spontaneous stimulation throughout the study.
Who's your rival in academics, sports, or video games, but expect a healthy dose of rivalry.
Under the dim light of Karma's gaming console screen, you and Karma were fighting in a video game. The room was alive with the rhythm of powerful blasts from controllers and the overdrive sound of your playful outcasts.
When the unreal battle appeared on screen, Karma couldn't help but smile knowingly. He teased, "Are you prepared to go down this round?" He touched the control with his fingers.
You countered with a confident smile. "I suppose we will find out. I hope you've been reviewing what you've learned, Karma."
The taunting was competitive, with each of you attempting to manipulate and navigate around the other in the video game. Laughter and occasional shouts of victory or defeat filled the room.
Despite intense competition, you and Karma maintained a tacit understanding. Each of you was respectful of the other's gaming abilities, which elevated the game beyond mere contention. Each action received either a respectful agreement or a quick-witted look, as if to emphasize the importance of jest in this competitive environment where fun was the ultimate goal.
Throughout the game, however, Karma managed to gain a foothold on you in a spectacular manner. He declared triumphantly, "Guess I won this time."
"Very good Karma. But the night is just beginning, and you still have a long way to go towards victory."
Whom you two have your own language and gestures, such as all-knowing smirks and eye signals.
You and Karma were always caught in an unusual act of communication while inside a gathering. A conversation, laughter, and the clinking of glasses filled the room, but the two of you conversed silently.
At that point, a mutual wink or fugitive eye signal was sufficient, as was your own secret code that went beyond written language. Those who were preoccupied with other people's conversations were unaware of the silent little communicative move that occurred between you and Karma, during which a sense of trust and unity developed.
Karma suddenly poured an all-knowing smirk on your face as you two shared that moment when nothing was said and no words were required. This was a language born out of shared experiences, inside jokes, and an unwritten oath that would grow stronger over time.
Whether it was a response to the ongoing conversation, a lighthearted joke, or simply two people having fun together, the smiles and eye movements were enough. It became a testament to your friendship, like a secret code known only to the two of you.
Who flicks your forehead at very random moments, whether at a serious moment, when you are spaced out, or eating.
Sitting in the library among rows of textbooks, which you shared with Karma during serious discussions about upcoming exams. He raised his brow with a mischievous look in his eyes, taking advantage of the opportunity while you were deep in conversation with him.
He suddenly warned you, "Watch out!" before flicking your forehead in an unexpected but friendly gesture.
You blinked in surprise and laughed. "Karma? Come on. I'm trying to concentrate here!"
"Absolutely! Distraction helps keep the mind alert and focused.
* * *
The following week, during a quiet moment in the school courtyard, Karma appeared beside you.
He quipped jokingly, "More deep thinking?" and hit you again on the forehead to emphasize his point.
You smiled childishly and shot at him. "Am I not allowed to get away from your forehead flicks?"
"What's the big deal about that?" he inquired, an enticing smile forming in his eyes.
* * *
With a flick, Karma took advantage of even the most casual lunch you two had together in your school cafeteria, for example, when you were about to bite on your sandwich.
"Karma!" You cried, partly laughing and partly protesting.
"Can't get away from that, it turns normal circumstances into extraordinary ones!"
As a result, Karma's forehead flicks have become an integral part of your daily conversations. These playful actions, whether trying to be serious or comical in nature, made your friendship have good moments between laughs and joy as if knitted on quicksilver.
Whom you share your "teas" and gossips with.
You and Karma were seated in a quiet nook of the local cafe, enjoying gentle conversation while smelling freshly brewed coffee and hearing distant murmurs. In that safe space, the "teas" and gossip flowed freely like threads woven for people's sheer amusement and trust.
How remarkable was it that, facing each other, you leaned forward, eager to share current events, even if they were scandalous. Karma began this exchange with a wink of the eye and in secret, initially sublimating it into a joke.
"All right, it's tea time. What is the most juicy detail about the incriminating rumor you have?"
As a result, the conversation became filled with laughter and animated faces. You would occasionally make comical observations about your classmates, teachers, and other characters in your lives. The teas shared were an entertaining mix of witty retorts, secrets offered and whispered, and bantered conspiracies.

I feel like he's a good chef but has a weird taste in food. I imagine him matching unbelievable types of food:
During a lazy weekend, Karma set out on his solo culinary adventure to indulge in his wickedness and hidden abilities. After catching sight of a fanciful idea, he resolved to prepare dishes involving the most unlikely pairings of ingredients.
In his kitchen, Karma created an exotic twist: a Chocolate-Soy Sauce Glazed Chicken Mélange that surprised even her own palate. He was surprised and delighted by the sweet chocolate dancing with the savory soy, which convinced him that there must be greater powers.
Karma then bravely went to doing a Strawberry-Wasabi Surprise dish. Sweet strawberries and fiery wasabi produced a unique taste—at least to his taste buds—that resulted in something delectably different from what is normally expected.
Continuing his culinary excitement, Karma made garlic-flavored pasta with marshmallows. Marshmallows, with their soft sweetness, worked unexpectedly well with the sharp garlic. The combination resulted in a dish that defied all traditional ideas about taste.
"Who says you can't play with food? It's all about bending the rules, adding a dash of mischief," he said to himself.
And, as Karma stood in front of his experimental creations with pride, he rejoiced at the prospect of pushing the boundaries of experimentation. During his one-man journey, he discovered that the most memorable meals are often accompanied by something unusual. For him, the kitchen became a zone of his imagination and creativity, leaving behind an appreciation for cooking.
I believe he has a soft spot for animals, particularly strays.
One sunny afternoon, Karma walked through the park, his steps light and focused. While he was enjoying the peace and quiet, he noticed a movement near a cluster of bushes. Nestled among the foliage was a stray cat—a small, scruffy ball of fur with curious eyes that met Karma's gaze.
His mischievous smile softened into a grin as he bent toward the timid cat, his hand slowly reaching out. He slowly handed out a piece of bread. The stray, at first hesitant, approached with caution. Karma's fingers touched the soft fur as he stroked the cat's back gently.
"There, there," he says, somehow sharing the feeling of loneliness to the cat.
In that one moment, Karma's tough exterior melted away, revealing a different side of him that was rarely visible. His eyes shone with genuine affection, and he didn't stop talking to the stray, quietly offering him words of tenderness. Karma had a deep affection for animals, particularly those in need, regardless of how daring or competitive he was. Afterall, he knows how it feels.
Karma's unexpected conversation with a stray cat evolved into an unspoken thrice of trust and understanding. However, the cat that had been nervous was now meowing contentedly beneath Karma's caress. In that serene moment, Karma's sympathy for stray animals demonstrated the depth of his character, reminding us that even the most unexpected people can have a soft spot for those in need.
Karma eventually stood up, giving the stray one last gentle pat before continuing his walk. The stray cat, now with a new companion, looked at Karma gratefully. In that peaceful park moment, Karma's compassion for stray animals demonstrated the depth of his character, serving as a reminder that even the most unexpected people can have a soft spot for those in need.
He who values the lessons he learned from Koro-sensei and applies it to his life.
Following Koro-sensei's death, the students in Class 3-E were enveloped in an atmosphere of grief. The once lively classroom echoed with a sense of loss and contemplation, leaving Karma and his classmates to deal with the void left by their beloved teacher.
For instance, each of them reminisced about stories that made them laugh, as well as memories of times when they grew and realized their fondness for each other through sharing experiences. Their teacher's presence stayed with them as a memory, inspiring them to pay tribute to the man by applying the skills and values he taught them.
As the days passed, Karma became aware of a slight change within himself. Koro-sensei's teachings rang true in his mind, altering how he saw and responded to life. The flickering wickedness in his eyes remained, but he had gained a better understanding of the importance of accountability and sensitivity.
Remembering Koro-sensei's teachings on resilience and compassion, Karma chose a different path. Instead of retaliating, he handled the situation without resorting to violence. He demonstrated a newfound maturity.
In the face of Karma's changed attitude, the group of students who were initially motivated by vengeance found themselves disarmed. Karma's resilience, strategic thinking, and compassionate demeanor helped to defuse the tension. Slowly, understanding replaced resentment, and the students exited the scene, leaving both parties safe.
While the pain of Koro-sensei's absence persisted, the students, led by Karma and others, turned difficulties into opportunities for positive change. Their journey continued, and Koro-sensei's indomitable spirit persisted within each student, ensuring that his legacy would always be a guiding light in their lives.

In the labyrinth of their shared school, where the ebb and flow of students created a bustling backdrop, you and Akaashi's paths had crossed since your first year. You were classmates who recognized each other with polite smiles and casual conversations. Yet, beneath the surface, Akaashi's heart harbored a secret—a small crush that had quietly taken root and blossomed over time.
Akaashi, the volleyball player with ocean-deep eyes, was frequently lost in thought. His tendency to overthink was well known to those close to him. But there was one constant in the midst of his thoughts: you, the student part-time librarian, whose presence calmed his mind.
Something calming. Something intriguing that he can't stop thinking of you. Not in a bad way, of course.
As he balanced his academics and volleyball club, he realized that he was caught in a conflicting situation. You, with your quiet grace and genuine kindness, had volunteered to help Akaashi locate a specific book in the library's card catalog. Your extracurricular activity was in itself a reflection of your nurturing nature, a quality that hadn't escaped Akaashi's notice. As you stood before the catalog, his fingers flipping through the cards with a deliberate rhythm, he couldn't help but feel a mixture of gratitude and anticipation.
His thoughts, on the other hand, had a habit of tying themselves up in unexpected knots. His thoughts wandered to the upcoming Nationals, a tournament that held enormous significance for the volleyball team, amid the quiet rustle of paper and the scent of old books. His thoughts shifted unexpectedly as he mentally navigated the complexities of strategy, his mouth moving before he could fully process what he was saying.
"The Nationals are approaching," he began, his voice quiet and introspective. He didn't mean to say his thoughts aloud. It just came naturally to him when you were around.
You came to a halt in your shelf-flipping and looked up to him, your gaze gentle as you noticed Akaashi's contemplative expression. You are well aware of his tendencies for analyzing everything, an aspect of his personality that piqued your interest. You made a humming sound.
"Yeah," you said, your tone accepting. "It must be a lot to prepare for."
Akaashi nodded, his fingers still resting on a card as he met your gaze. "It is. Every decision we make, every strategy we choose… it all matters."
Your presence next to him was soothing; your presence was a steady anchor in the midst of his thoughts. Your eyes were warm and soothing to his overworked mind. You hummed.
"But sometimes," Akaashi continued, his words flowing with an unintentional vulnerability, "amidst all the preparation and thinking, I find myself wondering about other things."
Your interest was piqued, and your gaze was fixed as you listened.
"Like what?" you asked quietly. You tilt your head to the side, displaying your perplexity. You studied his expression, trying to figure out what words to say to calm his overthinking tendencies.
"Wait," you said to him, noticing his unkempt hair. You can't help but fix it. His hair is always in a mess. You think it would lessen his pressure and lighten his mood. You reached for his blue locks and combed them in a neat way. You stopped midway, completely forgetting to ask for his permission. But alas, you're done fixing his hair.
This quickened Akaashi's heartbeat, his overthinking mind realizing the precipice he stood on. He inhaled deeply, his gaze never leaving yours.
"L-like how the future might look… beyond the Nationals. And… well, other thoughts."
Your lips curled into a smile, understanding the dawning in your eyes. You knew, as if you could read the thoughts that danced in the corners of his mind.
You read in between his lines. Your assumptions were confirmed. He liked you. And you did; you just don't know how to break his moment. But maybe when you two walk home after school.
Akaashi's confession hung in the air, his heart racing in time with the beat of the music. And as he met your gaze, he found solace in the quiet exchange—a bond formed by shared glances, unsaid emotions, and the unknown territory of your hearts.
Akaashi had confessed more than he had intended in a single moment. But, as he stood beside you, your paths intertwined in the silence of the library, he realized that it was sometimes the unexpected confessions that held the most meaning.

"I heard he was punished for stealing candies. Tsk. Tsk."
In the dimly lit corridors of the orphanage, where shadows clung to the walls like silent specters, a young boy named Atsushi navigated the harsh realities of his life. The whispers of other children echoed in the cold air, tales of mysterious punishments inflicted upon him by the enigmatic directors.
"These candies. Where were they stolen from?"
"They weren't stolen..."
"Liar!"
Punishments with no rhyme or reason left Atsushi battered and bruised, a silent canvas of pain.
Among the pain and uncertainty that pervaded his life, there was a glimmer of hope that Atsushi could always rely on—you. As a fellow orphanage resident, your heart was filled with compassion, and you had taken it upon yourself to console the young boy. Your presence was a beacon of hope in his world, which often felt cold and unforgiving, every time Atsushi returned from a punishment.
You never dared to question him about why the director is always harsh on him. You lack the courage to do so. So you just stay by his side, offering aid and motivation to keep going.
One evening, after a particularly brutal punishment that left Atsushi's body aching and his spirit broken, he returned to his room. To his surprise, he found you waiting there in the corner, a small first-aid kit by your side. Your eyes held a mixture of concern and empathy, as if you could feel his pain as acutely as he did.
"Sit down, Atsushi," you said softly, your voice a gentle melody in the otherwise somber room, guiding him to a worn-out chair.
His gaze was fixed on the cold floor, an unspoken acknowledgement of the pain etched into the linoleum. You moved with compassion's grace, gently cleaning his wounds with the sting of an antiseptic, making him flinch. Nonetheless, he did not protest. He was aware that this was a routine, a ritual you had established—a brief respite from the struggles that haunted him.
"Why do you do this?" Atsushi finally inquired, his voice barely above a whisper, a delicate thread woven through the silence.
You came to a halt in your interventions, your gaze meeting his. "Because I can't stand to see you hurt. You deserve better than this, Atsushi."
A lump formed in his throat, and he turned away, unable to hold back the tears that threatened to fall like rain in a storm. Your compassion felt like a lifeline in a world that had shown him so little kindness—a lifeline he never knew he needed.
"You don't have to do this, you know," he grumbled, his voice heavy with emotion. "You don't owe me anything."
Your fingers brushed against his skin, a gentle touch that felt like a reassurance whisper in the deafening silence. "I don't do it out of obligation, Atsushi. I do it because you're my friend, and friends take care of each other, right?"
Your words made Atsushi's heart clench. Friendship was a foreign concept to him, a language he was only beginning to grasp. Despite his difficulties, you were a constant reminder that there was goodness in the world, even if it was frequently overshadowed by darkness.
As you finished tending to his wounds, the weight of the room seemed to lift. Atsushi's body felt lighter, as if your presence had temporarily relieved the pain. He looked at you, his eyes filled with gratitude and a newfound sense of belonging that warmed his heart's bitter caverns.
"Thank you," he said quietly, his voice genuine and heartfelt, a delicate melody in the silence of the room.
You gave him a small smile, your hand resting on his shoulder like a reassuring anchor. "You're welcome, Atsushi, but keep in mind that you're not alone in this." Your warm hand touched his pale, cold hands. A symbol of your support and affection for him.
At that moment, as the weight of his difficulties seemed to lift, Atsushi realized he had found a true friend, a beacon of light in the midst of his darkest days. And he knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, your unwavering support would guide him through, a compass pointing toward a future where kindness and friendship could triumph over the shadows that lurked in the orphanage corridors.

a/n: another repost from my old account mweheheh (ㅅ´ ˘ `); i honestly have a headcannon that karma's things are mostly coloured red;
Tumblr media
After a long day at work, you stepped out of your office building, tired but relieved that the workweek was coming to an end. As you walked towards the sidewalk, you noticed Karma sitting on the hood of his unmistakable red car, a sly grin on his face.
He waved his hand cheerfully as he greeted you, making you squint your eyes. Your instincts are telling you something, or more like warning you.
"Hey there, Y/N," he greeted, his golden eyes gleaming mischievously. "Long day at the office?" You chuckled, appreciating the familiar banter.
"As always. And what brings you here? As far as I recall, I didn't call you to fetch me, so what's the deal?" you inquired, raising an eyebrow. As he approached you, he laughed, attempting to guide you inside his red car.
Karma slid off the hood, revealing a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I'm just waiting for you, my dear colleague. I figured you're going to Kayano-chan's place as well, so I thought of passing by." He winked at you before opening his car door for you.
"Welcome aboard." Still wary of his actions, you inspect him from head-to-toe.
'Not bad,' you thought. Cutting your train of thoughts, you shrugged off and went inside.
Little did you know, Karma had a prank up his sleeve. As soon as you sat down, you were jolted out of your seat. Behold, a fart cushion has been revealed. Karma burst out laughing. You fell for his prank once more.
"You did it on purpose, didn't yo-?" Karma shut the door on purpose to cut you off. You smacked Karma in the square face with the fart cushion as soon as he got in the car, earning a surprised yet amused expression from him. He laughed but had a twinkle of mischief in his eyes.
"Alright, alright, you got me," he admitted, wiping away the imaginary stench.
"You came to get your daily dose of prank; you never change," you said as you tossed the cushion in the back.
"And you never did learn."
Your eyes unintentionally met, and the butterflies began to swarm inside your stomach, just as they had in previous scenarios. You've admitted to yourself that, for months, you developed feelings for Karma. You're not sure why, but you've recently realized that he's just right for you. Your gaze would unconsciously travel only to his figure. His antics never ceased to irritate you, but you somehow enjoyed them. You thought it was insanely stupid at first. Like, how could you fall for him based solely on his endless pranks? But then you noticed the way his mercury orbs looked at you. You don't want to assume, but whenever he looks at you, you get the impression that his gaze is genuine. When you're around, he's like an open book, so vulnerable and fragile. When you realized you had been staring out the window for too long, you quickly averted your gaze. You can't stand the embarrassment if he happens to realize it.
"Y'know, you do have a thing for red, don't you?" you wondered. From his necktie all the way to his car. You also recall that the majority of his clothing in high school was red. "I wouldn't be surprised if your toothbrush is also red," you joked.
"Haha, funny, but how did you know my toothbrush is red?" he admitted.
"You've got to be kidding me!" you exclaimed, perplexed.
"That's my color, I guess,'" he said jokingly. You could only hum to end the conversation while fiddling with your hands.
You became aware that you had fallen into a light slumber when you felt light taps on your shoulders and cheeks. You must have fallen asleep due to exhaustion.
"We're here?" you asked as you peered out the window. Finally, the sun had gone down. Karma unbuckled his seat belt, and you did the same.
"Look who fashionably came late," Kayano said as she opened her door and welcomed you. "Hmm, definitely not us, right, Karma?" Karma chuckled.
"Oh Kayano, I see, you've grown a little, huh?" you teased her jokingly as you hovered your hand a few centimeters above her head, earning a playful smack.
"Yo! It's been a while, guys," you said, noticing the others sitting at the living room table with cans of beer on top.
Upon arrival, you found that most of your friends were already in high spirits, enjoying the night with laughter and drinks. The gang settled in for a night of shared stories and camaraderie. You spent the night catching up on everyone's current life events, especially Kayano and Sugino, the group's superstars.
As the night progressed, the others gradually succumbed to the effects of alcohol. Your head begins to spin for the nth time. Nagisa had just passed out, and Okuda and Kanzaki had gone to one of Kayano's rooms. You only have an average tolerance for alcohol, so catching up to this point astounded you. Your sobriety has left you, which has caused you to say incoherent things. When you announced that you would be heading to bed, Karma offered to escort you.
Kayano led you both to a guest room in her condo, and as she left, you found yourself alone with Karma. He voluntarily stayed with you to look after you. With many shifts and turns, you finally lay on your back. There, in the quietude of the room, you couldn't help but stare into Karma's mesmerizing golden eyes.
In your slightly intoxicated state, you blurted out, "You know, Karma, I really like your eyes. They're like pools of gold. It makes me feel like I am enchanted by you."
He chuckled, his gaze softening. "Well, thank you, Y/N. I've always thought your eyes were pretty amazing too."
You get to see this side of Karma when you two are alone. Maybe because you find solace in each other's comfort. Or even deeper than it is.
The atmosphere in the room shifted, and you felt a surge of courage. "No, Karma, I mean... I really like you."
His eyes widened in surprise, and a moment of silence lingered between you. Karma has said something incoherent to himself, something you can't comprehend. The atmosphere made you a little self-conscious. You wondered about the implications of your drunken confession. Turning around, you settled in, laying on your stomach.
"Hey! Say something!" You grunted as you continued to feel his gaze bore into your figure. Feeling the annoyed emotions, you swatted his face away, making him chuckle and stare at you more.
"Stop staring at me," you declared, dipping your face into the pillow. You stayed in that position for a while, finally passing out some time. Karma nudged you 'until he was finally convinced that you had finally passed out. He tucks your hair behind your ear and runs his fingers through your cheeks.
Little did you know that this moment would lead to a series of events that would unfold in the days to come.

"Someone is looking at you, Shin-chan."
The words of Kita's grandmother echoed in his young mind like a gentle reminder. He had no idea what those words meant, but little did he know that those words would change his perspective in life, leading him to a destiny entwined with someone he had yet to meet.
One day, as Kita and his grandmother strolled through the neighborhood, they came across a newly opened, charming flower shop. The owners, a woman in her late twenties and a child around Kita's age. The two adults exchanged greetings. Later on, Kita's grandmother decided to order a bouquet of flowers. Your mother then went to her workspace to make a personalized boquet.
Your mother is a very skilled florist—someone you aspire to be one day. So every day, you would watch her assemble various vibrant bouquets of flowers with an array of colors, enthralling the senses with their exquisite beauty. Somehow you try to assemble like she does, your fingers gracefully dancing among the petals and ribbons like a natural talent.
During their conversation, your eyes carefully watch Kita Shinsuke. Throughout their stay in the shop so far, you have noticed how rarely he smiles. This piqued your interest. You thought that he was sad. So to cheer him up, you thought of creating him a bouquet too.
Your life took on a new rhythm after that. Passing by Kita's house became a habit—a harmless attempt to catch a glimpse of the elusive smile you had yet to see. You sometimes leave a small bouquet in front of their door. Year after year, you stuck to your routine, finding solace in the thought of making even the smallest difference in his life.
The flower shop became your domain over time, having been passed down from your mother. And then fate stepped in once more. An order came in for a bouquet that looked exactly like one your mother had made for Kita's grandmother years ago. Nonetheless, the connection remained buried in the depths of your memory.
With the bouquet in hand, you set out on your last delivery for the day, completely unaware of the fateful twists that lay ahead of you. The familiarity of the setting struck you as you arrived at Kita's house, and memories resurfaced. It was the same house where you'd always leave a bouquet for Kita.
Kita, who had returned from his farm, greeted you warmly, his eyes filled with a familiarity that had grown over the years. He'd missed seeing you because he'd been preoccupied with his work. Though when he was in high school, he would sometimes catch you roaming nearby their house. Of course, he doesn't mind. It was you, after all.
As you handed over your delivery, Kita's grandmother came out and offered you some lunch. As much as you declined their invitation, your heart melted when Kita personally invited you. The bond between you grew stronger as you shared a meal at his grandmother's (and his) invitation.
As night fell, Kita led you out of the house, holding a single flower—your favorite flower—a symbol of his secret feelings towards you. Kita indirectly confessed his feelings, straightforward and sincere, as she prepared to ride away on your bike. The confession felt a little cold and fast, but you were sure to catch on to it. Loud and clear.
You were taken aback, your heart racing as you struggled to find words. In a state of confusion and astonishment, you stammered out a simple "okay" and pedaled away. Kita watched you disappear from his sight, his heart filled with compassion.
That night, you couldn't shake the weight of your actions, your manners slipping in the rush of emotions. The next day, you went to Kita's house to apologize, only to find him getting ready to leave for his farm. You were having an internal crisis about whether to approach him or not, but he beat you as he saw you from the corner of his eye.
"Y/n," he called, making your heart skip millions of beats.
Awkwardly walking towards him. With a cold hand, you admitted your own feelings in that moment, guided by honesty.
"Firstly, good morning to you. Secondly, I'm sorry for how I acted last night," you paused from his gaze.
"You know, I ran after y-you confessed, and…"
He nodded. Urging you to continue. "I also liked you. For a very long time." You sighed in relief after feeling like you'd stopped breathing.
He chuckled at your behaviour, something you didn't expect.
'I only asked for a smile, but I was able to hear his laugh too?' A sense of romantic feeling filled your system. As you turned back to him, the sincerity in his eyes mirrored your own, and for a moment, the world seemed to pause, allowing the weight of shared sentiments to settle between you.
The flowers that had connected their lives bloomed brighter than ever as their feelings converged and their hearts opened. Their destinies intertwined in a love that had been blooming for years, ready to flourish in the seasons to come, against the backdrop of Kita's farm, under the watchful gaze of the universe.

➻ SYNOPSIS : Akaashi Keiji doesn't mind celebrating his birthday late, as long as your with him.
➻ PAIRING : akaashi keiji x reader
➻ GENRE : fluff, established relationship
➻ WORD COUNT :
a/n: this is a repost from my old account, so if ever you find this scenario familiar, then probably you've read it ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ ).
Tumblr media
You tried everything that you could do to get out of work early and rush home to your shared home with Akaashi. Today was no ordinary day; it was his birthday, a special day in your heart. Nonetheless, despite your best efforts, work demands held you captive, stretching time as if to test your patience.
Your boss gave you additional paperwork, further tying you to your desk. A frustrated sigh escaped your lips, your thoughts drifting to Akaashi and the quiet celebration you had planned for him. He understood the nature of your job, but you wished you could be there with him, sharing his joy.
You quickly messaged Akaashi, apologizing for the delay and explaining the scenario at hand. His words were a soothing balm to your worries, and his response was as understanding as ever. "Take your time, love. I'll be here, waiting for you."
You rushed out of the office to catch the bus, your thoughts racing with plans for the evening ahead. The sun had long since departed, leaving the sky in the embrace of the night. The moon basked in its silvery glow, bestowing a delicate radiance on the surroundings. The familiar lampposts seemed to direct your steps as you dashed towards the house, your heart thumping with excitement.
As you walked into your house, the soft glow of the kitchen light greeted you, and the aroma of a home-cooked meal filled the air. Your gaze was drawn to Akaashi, who sat on a stool at the kitchen counter with a tablet in hand and a small cake in front of him. The sight of him, surrounded by the warm ambiance of the room and his efforts for the evening, melted away the day's stress.
"I'm home!" you declared, your voice tinged with relief and excitement.
Akaashi's gaze lifted from his tablet, his blue eyes locking onto yours. A genuine smile appeared on his lips, a silent reassurance that you were exactly where you belonged. He rose from the stool, taking measured steps to close the gap between you.
"I'm sorry-" A sigh escaped your lips as he cut you off, wrapping his arms around you in a gentle embrace, and you nestled into his warmth. His hand found its way to your hair, his fingers gently combing through the strands. He kissed the crown of your head softly, which felt both comforting and intimate.
You looked up at him, your gaze meeting his with regret and affection. You found solace in Akaashi's gaze, which held an understanding that went beyond words.
"It's okay, (Y/N)," he reassured you, his thumb gently tracing a line along your cheekbone. "I know how demanding your work can be."
As his words washed over you, the weight of the day seemed to lighten. You leaned into his touch, your heart aching from his unwavering support.
As he held you close, your gaze was drawn to your left hand, where the gleaming engagement ring graced your finger. It was a testament to your shared journey and a promise to spend the rest of your lives together. Akaashi's presence, patience, and love were the constants that kept you grounded in times like these.
"Keiji, happy birthday," you said softly, your voice full of genuine affection.
For a brief moment, Akaashi's grip on you tightened. His grip was a silent confirmation of his emotions. He leaned in for a tender kiss, his lips brushing against your brow. "Thank you, (Y/N). Having you here is the best gift I could ever receive."
Time seemed to stand still at that moment, and the stresses of the day faded into insignificance. The bond you shared with Akaashi was unbreakable, forged through comprehension, patience, and love. He knew that being with you was the truest form of celebration, as you looked at him.
"Let's make the most of the time we have," he gently stated, his gaze never leaving yours.
You curled your lips into a soft smile and nodded.
So the two of you set out on an evening filled with laughter, shared stories, and the comfort of being in each other's company. Akaashi's delicious meal was savored slowly, each bite signifying your appreciation for the love and effort he put into it.
As the night progressed, you realized that, while your arrival had been delayed, the essence of the celebration had not changed. The day was complete with Akaashi by your side, and the love you shared transcended the limitations of time.
You knew that each moment spent together was a gift worth cherishing as you looked into Akaashi's eyes, his gaze creating the promise of many more celebrations in the future.aka

On a warm morning, the sunlight filters through the curtains into the classroom as the president distributes the notebooks back into their respective owners. Among the exchanges of notebook, your notebook and Semi's notebook were accidentally swapped. The notes of an academic subject now rested in the hands of a musician, and a musician's world found its way into the possession of a volleyball player.
Semi was the first to notice the mismatched notebooks. Rather than waiting until the end of the day, he decided to use their volleyball break to return the notebook to you. He excused himself from the court and made his way to the music clubroom, nodding to his teammates.
As he walked in, he noticed you sitting on a stool, cradling a guitar in your lap. A dissonance of out-a-tune sounds emitted from the strings, indicating that your a beginner, and attempts to master the instrument. Your fingers fumbled over the frets, leaving smears of red where the strings had bitten into your skin.
Semi announced his presence by gently knocking on the doorframe. You abruptly jumping into your seat, with ears flushed with surprise and embarrassment at being caught in such a vulnerable position.
"Um, hi," you stammered, hastily setting the guitar aside and wiping your fingers onto your skirt.
Semi gave you a reassuring smile as he reached out the notebook. "I think our notebooks got swapped during class."
Your eyes peered down on the object in front of you, your eyes widening in realization. You accepted your notebook with a grateful smile, your fingers brushing against his in the exchange.
"Thank you so much," you said softly as you went to your bag to give his notebook back.
Semi's gaze wandered to the guitar lying on the guitar stand. "Do you play?"
You peered over your shoulder at the question, your expression shifted from gratitude to a sheepish admission. "Well, I'm trying to learn. But I'm not very good at it yet."
Semi picked up the guitar, his fingers deftly tuning the strings. "Mind if I give you a few tips?"
You blinked in surprise. "You know how to play the guitar?"
He chuckled. "A bit. My sister taught me."
Semi sat down on one of the available seats beside yours and helped you position your fingers on the frets correctly. He showed how to pluck the strings, his fingers moving with grace and fluidity. You looked at his hands with a mixture of fascination and embarrassment, your fingers attempting to mimic the movements.
The notes from the guitar transformed from a discordant jumble to a tentative melody under his direction. Your fingers grew more secure, and the strings no longer left marks on your fingertips. Your fingers felt at ease than before and grew comfortable on the instrument.
"You're a natural at this," Semi remarked with a smile.
Your ears flushed with a mix of pleasure and surprise. "Thanks to your help."
An unspoken connection formed between the two of you as your fingers brushed against each other while adjusting the strings. Their brief meeting turned into an unexpected bond, fostered by your mutual love of music.
You admitted before Semi leaves, "I actually play the piano."
Semi smiled. "Maybe one day, we can jam together. Guitar and piano."
The thought made your heart skip a beat. "I'd like that."
A smile crept onto your lips as memories of melodies enveloped you, weaving their emotive melody through the fabric of your soul, accompanied by a comforting twinge of feeling in your stomach.

"Hug of Reconciliation"

➻ SYNOPSIS : Relationship with Tsukishima Kei has been a journey of growth and understanding. Yet, like any couple, you too had your moments of disagreement. One such instance had left you at odds, your tempers flaring and words exchanged.

➻ GENRE : established relationship, post-timeskip

a/n: everybody say, "happy birthday beanpole Tsukki-pokie!! 🎉"
Tumblr media
You and Kei walked in silence as the two of you had an argument a while ago while walking home. It was an argument that neither the two of you do not want to hold back,
The argument had simmered down. Your heart ached at the growing distance between you two. The chasm of unresolved conflict felt insurmountable, and you couldn't bear the thought of your relationship being marred by this discord. With a determined heart, you decided to take the first step toward reconciliation.
'it's okay y/n, just swallow your pride,' you thought.
With your determination firm, you sought out Tsukishima. You found him in a quiet corner, his gaze fixed on the distance as he contemplated the rift that had formed between you. The sight tugged at you heartstrings, and you stepped forward.
"Kei," your voice was soft, tinged with a mix of regret and sincerity. He turned his gaze towards yours, his expression guarded. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the things I said, for letting the argument escalate. I didn't mean to."
His features softened ever so slightly, a hint of vulnerability shining through. He remained silent, but the tension in his shoulders seemed to ease.
Taking a deep breath, you took a step closer, your heart pounding in your chest. You wanted a moment of comfort and healing, one that could bridge the gap that had formed between you.
With a gentle resolve, you reached out and wrapped your arms around Tsukishima, pulling him into a hug. It was a simple gesture, yet it held a world of meaning. The hug was a wordless apology, an embrace that sought to mend what had been broken.
Tsukishima stiffened at first, taken aback by the unexpected gesture. His initial reaction was to pull away, but something in the sincerity of your embrace held him in place. Gradually, he relaxed into your hug, his arms finding their way around your waist. You stood there, enveloped in each other's arms, the weight of your argument and hurt slowly dissipating.
In that moment, you felt a connection that transcended words. You felt Tsukishima's heart beating against your own, a rhythm of forgiveness and acceptance. As the seconds ticked by, the tension between you melted away, replaced by a sense of warmth and belonging.
You remained wrapped in each other's arms, a silent affirmation of your bond. The hug spoke volumes, conveying apologies, forgiveness, and the unspoken promise to move forward together. It was a reminder that even in moments of discord, your love had the power to heal and mend.
Eventually, you pulled away, your eyes meeting in a shared understanding. No words were needed to bridge the gap that had once separated you. The hug had said it all – an apology given, forgiveness granted, and your love reaffirmed.
As you stood there, side by side, you and Tsukishima knew that your love was strong enough to weather any storm, that even in your disagreements, you could find your way back to each other's arms.
However, as you began to step back, Tsukishima made a subtle attempt to walk away, as if the gravity of the situation still weighed heavily on his mind. But you couldn't let that happen. You reached out, gently taking hold of his arms to halt his retreat.
"Kei," you whispered, your voice carrying a plea. He hesitated but turned to look at you. His eyes, once guarded, now bore a hint of uncertainty.
You met his gaze, your eyes filled with a mixture of love and determination. "We can get through this together," you said softly, your words carrying a promise. "We're a team, remember?"
Tsukishima's defenses began to crumble. He let out a quiet sigh, a subtle shift in his expression indicating his surrender. He nodded, and in that moment, the last traces of tension seemed to dissolve.
You smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over you. Your relationship had weathered its share of storms, but it was moments like this, when you held onto each other and faced challenges together, that made your bond unbreakable. You and Tsukishima knew that you could overcome anything as long as you faced it hand in hand, hearts entwined.
With your differences set aside, you continued your walk home, no longer in silence but with the promise of a brighter future together.

Since the first time you stepped into the cheerful yet chaotic preschool classroom, your eyes were irresistibly drawn to a certain figure — a boy named Sugawara Koshi. There was something about him that held your attention, something that made his presence stand among the other children.
One day, as the other preschoolers mingled and played together, you found yourself sitting next to Suga during snack time. With a thoughtful expression, you observed him, your chubby finger raised to your own cheek as if comparing something. Then, with a determined look crossed your face, you pointed at the birthmark mole just beneath Suga's eye.
"Hey," you piped up, your voice brimming with innocence, "you've got some dirt under your eye."
Suga blinked in surprise, his hand instinctively moving to touch the spot were you had indicated. He chuckled softly, a warm flush spreading across his cheeks. "Oh, that's not dirt. It's actually a mole."
Your eyes widened, your finger still hovering in the air. "A mole?" you echoed, tilting your head to the side, a mixture of confusion and curiosity evident in your expression from the new discovery.
Suga nodded, his smile gentle and inviting. "Yes, it's just a little mark. It's like a special spot on my skin." Without hesitation, you reached out and gently touched his face, tour tiny fingers brushing against the mole as if to confirm its existence. Suga was taken aback by the unexpected gesture, but he allowed you to explore with a bemused smile.
You curiosity transformed into understanding, and you nodded in response. Lowering your hand, you returned to your snack, but every now and then, your gaze would wander back to Suga. You couldn't quite shake off the notion that his mole was an unusual "dirt" that made him lingered in your mind.
As the day progressed, you found it hard to resist sneaking quick glances at Suga. His presence seemed to have an invisible pull on your attention, and your gaze frequently found its way to his face. It wasn't long before your fascination bubbled up again, prompting you to lean closer to him.
"Suga-kun," you whispered in a hushed voice, your eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and admiration, "I really find you cute."
Suga's eyes widened, his cheeks turning a deep shade of red. He let out an embarrassed chuckle, his hand nervously rubbing the back of his head. "Um, thank you, Y/n."
You grinned, seemingly delighted by your own observation. You then turned your attention back to your toys, satisfied with your newfound understanding of Suga's "dirt" and your bold declaration of his cuteness.
In the realm of preschool, where innocence and curiosity held sway, your candid comments and sincere observations carried a genuine authenticity that only young children could possessed. Suga's mole, once mistaken for dirt, had become a source of connection and amusement between them, a small memory of a time when the simplest things could spark friendships and genuine affection.

The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle, golden glow that painted the room with warmth. You had intended to be the first one awake, hoping to surprise Akaashi with breakfast in bed or a quiet morning spent together. But as you stirred in your sleep, your eyes fluttered open to find Akaashi already awake, his gaze fixed on you.
His dark hair was slightly tousled, and his eyes held a softness that made your heart skip a beat. His fingers traced the delicate curve of your cheek, his touch so light it felt like a whisper. You watched him for a moment, his expression radiating tenderness that enveloped you with a sense of comfort and warmth.
"Good morning," you whispered, your voice barely louder than a sigh.
Akaashi's fingers stilled, his lips curling into a soft smile. "Good morning, my love," he responded, his voice is as soothing as a melody.
You shifted slightly, propping yourself up on your elbow to better meet his gaze. His hand retreated, his ocean-like eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that tinted your cheeks with a rosy hue.
"I didn't mean to wake you," he said, his voice filled with a mix of apology and amusement.
You shook your head, your fingers reaching out to brush a strand of hair away from his forehead. "It's okay. I wanted to be the first one awake, but it seems you beat me to it."
Akaashi's smile widened, and he leaned in to press a soft kiss against your forehead. "I couldn't help but admire your features," he admitted, his tone honest and affectionate.
Your heart swelled at his words, a sensation of warmth spreading from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. His gaze held a level of adoration that made you feel truly seen, truly cherished.
"I hope you like what you see," you teased playfully, your own fingers tracing a path along his jawline, eliciting a sense of comfort from your touch.
Akaashi's gaze grew even softer, his hand entwining with yours as his forehead came to rest against yours. "I do more than like it," he said, his tone sincere. "I love every part of you."
Your breath caught at his confession, your heart echoing with a rhythm that mirrored the fluttering of butterflies in your stomach. In that fleeting moment, bathed in the morning's tender light and held within Akaashi's adoring gaze, you felt an intimate connection that transcended words.
"Thank you," you murmured, your voice laced with emotion. "For being here, for waking up before me, for everything."
Akaashi's thumb carresed the back of your hand, a gesture of reassurance. "It's my pleasure," he replied. "And I'm grateful for every moment I get to spend with you."
The mutual gaze remained unbroken, as if the outside world had faded into insignificance. It was just the two of you, sharing a quiet moment filled with unspoken feelings. And in that moment, you realized that sometimes the most profound connections were made in the simplest of moments—early mornings when conversations were replaced by heartfelt gazes and tender touches.

➻ GENRE : fluff, hints of mutual pining

You stared at the blank exam paper in front of you, your heart racing faster than your thoughts. You had studied diligently the night before, ensuring you knew the material inside and out. But all of your preparation seemed futile now, as you realized you had forgotten your pencil case at home. Panic crept up to your chest as you discreetly whispered to your best friend, who sat just ahead of you.
"Hey, do you have my pen? You haven't given it to me yet," you whispered, your voice tinged with desperation.
Your best friend turned around, a sheepish expression on their face. "I'm sorry, Y/n. I forgot to bring my pencil case today. Left it at home."
Your heart sank. The teacher had just walked in, and the exam was about to begin. You glanced around the classroom, tapping your fingers on the desk, contemplating your options. You knew you couldn't answer the paper without a pen. Just as you were about to muster the courage to ask for permission to leave the room, a familiar voice interrupted your anxious thoughts.
"Here, take this." You felt a gentle tap on your shoulder and turned to see Suga, who was sitting beside you, holding out a spare pen.
Your eyes widened in surprise. "Oh, thank you so much, Suga-san!"
He smiled at you, a hint of reassurance in his eyes. "Don't worry about it. Good luck on the exam."
Your ears turned warm as you accepted the pen. Your heart raced not just because of the impending exam, but also because of Suga's unexpected kindness. You had always admired his reliability, which was one of the reasons why you had developed a crush on him.
As the exam started, you couldn't help stealing glances at Suga, who was now focused on his own paper. You found solace in the borrowed pen, grateful for the lifeline it represented. After what felt like an eternity, the exam finally came to an end. You approached Suga, a grateful smile on your lips.
"Thanks again, Suga-san. I owe you one," you said, your voice a mix of gratitude and shyness.
Suga shook his head, his cheeks slightly tinted. "No need to worry about it. I'm glad I could help."
You hesitated, about to hand back the pen, but Suga held up his hand to stop you. "Keep it. It might come in handy again."
