Some Snippets from the upcoming chapter of "Meet Me on the Strange Trails"
Chapter 15: Blood in the Water
1. "STANLEY!" Ford screamed in horror as he watched his brother crumple like a bloody rag doll, Rico standing over him with an expression full of so much manic glee that Ford thought he’d be sick. Stan had warned him, he’d warned him, but still Ford wasn’t ready for how truly terrifying Rico was. He understood now, all too well, why Stan had been scared. Beyond his horror, however, was anger.
2. "Nice try, Paul Bunyan, but we ain’t stickin’ around. Now stay put, or I start slicing." Brico warned, dragging the knife across the side of Stan’s neck, causing a thin line of red to appear.
3. "H-hey…" Jimmy rasped. Nolan stared at him, then poured a cup of water and handed it over wordlessly. Jimmy drank two cups gratefully before sagging against the bed with a sigh.
"You’re a fucking idiot." Nolan said finally.

Howdy y’all! I just wanted to jump on here to give y’all a quick update.
Unfortunately my laptop is currently not working right (the trackpad is being fussy) so I need to bring it to a shop. That said, my stories are gonna take a bit to update, so please be patient! I’ll try writing on my tablet, it’ll just take a bit longer. Anyway, just know nothing is being abandoned and I haven’t forgotten! Thanks for understanding. I’ll be moseyin’ on now 🏜️

Snippets from the upcoming chapter of "I Know How To Live (I Don't Know How To Die)"
Chapter 3: Not The Only Anomaly Here
1. "Greetings! My name is Stanford Pines, and I'd appreciate it if you could stop destroying my house. Can you show yourself to me?" Stan rolled his eyes.
"Destroying your house? It wasn't exactly put together when I got here."
"Can you hear me? Make something float if you can." Ah, right, Ford couldn't hear him. Stan tried making the head float again, but nothing happened, and his hands phased through it as a wave of dizziness swept over him. Great, great– Fucking– Of course his ghost powers stop working right when he needs them the most, 'cause why not?
2. What was he gonna do? He couldn't leave, and he couldn't seem to make contact with Ford, not that he really wanted to anymore. He had a feeling his presence wouldn't be well received. Maybe he could find a nice corner to haunt or something.
3. All his life, Stan's done nothing but mess things up, ride on everyone else's coattails...
"Sheesh, this is just depressing."
Stan sat up. What was that? Was someone in here? That voice didn't sound like Ford.
"Nah, not Ford, but I was a friend of his if that makes you feel better."
4. "Can you stop reading my mind or whatever?! It's creepy!"
"Sure thing, Mac, sorry about that." Bill didn't sound very sorry. "Look, I gotta admit, I'm surprised to see you here, especially like this. What happened?"
"Died, I guess. I dunno. Now I'm stuck here and I can't leave."
Bill looked at him in an almost pitying way. "Sorry to hear that. I know how it feels to be nothing but a ghost, haunting a guy who does nothing but push you away."
Stan looked up, surprised. "You do?"
Aw, how sweet! Stan's making a new friend 🥰

New chapter of Meet Me On The Strange Trails is UP! Please go check it out (and maybe leave a comment?)
Here’s a few snippets of chapter 13: “Maddest Man This Town Has Ever Seen”:
1. Ford and Stan had just shut the door behind them when Jimmy ran up, pale as a ghost.
"We've got a problem," He said, jittering slightly. Stan's jaw clenched.
"What is it?" Ford asked.
"Rico. He's here, I think.”
2. "Well, that'll certainly give us an edge over Rico and Bill. We should see if Fiddleford's nearly done with his invention. We don't have a lot of time left."
Stan grimaced. "Geez Ford, make it sound more ominous, would ya?" He said with a huff, following after Ford. His brother was right, though, they probably didn't have a lot of time left. Stan could only hope their plan would be enough.
3. There was a loud 'thwip,' a shocked wheeze followed by gurgling, and then the thin man was falling to his knees, blood pouring from his mouth and dripping onto Stan's leg.
4. "Ford, I'm lightyears away from bein' calm, ok? I ain't gonna be calm until Rico and Bill are gone." He jumped again when a shadow figure moved in his peripheral vision. "Shit!"
5. Stan let out a bark of pain, rolling onto his side, the kick having aggravated the bruising left from both the fights with Bord and with Jimmy. He kicked out wildly, but the man caught his ankle and pulled, causing Stan to flip onto his back again.
This chapter took a lot of work but it was fun to write. Things are heating up and the end is near! Things are gonna get worse before they get better…

Snippets from Chapter 12 of “Meet Me On The Strange Trails”, Planning and Plotting and Talking and Forgiving
(Yes, its finally posted!)
1. "Perfect! That looks good. Now I'll just comb your hair quick." Ford said, doing just that. Jimmy looked taken aback as Ford examined the comb, nodded, and used the tweezers to place the hair in one plastic bag, setting it aside. The final test simply involved swobbing Jimmy's mouth, the swob being put in the second plastic bag afterward. Once everything was packed away, Ford placed his hands behind his back, face solemn.
"What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of forks?"
2. "Wouldn't it be easier to have Rico come to us? Set up a trap here?" Nolan asked. Stan shook his head.
"Easier, maybe, but a whole lot more dangerous. Rule number one when dealin' with a guy like Rico is to never let 'em get too close. In the cabin, it's cramped. Too many places to get stuck with a wall at your back."
3. "I ain't fuckin' psychic, Ford. But–" Stan studied Jimmy's face and body language. "Yeah. He's tellin' the truth."
4. "Can we talk?" Jimmy asked. Fuck. Stan swallowed thickly and nodded. This was gonna happen eventually, wasn't it? Best to get it over with fast, like ripping off a bandaid or whatever. They sat back down with a pregnant pause. When they finally spoke, it was at the exact same time.
"I'm sorry–"

Premonition
Snippets of what may possibly become a future story. Just something I typed up quick after the idea hit me randomly! Lemme know what ya'll think of it.
TW: Mention of a body, along with some minor descriptions of said body. Nothing graphic or gross, but I figured I'd let ya'll know!
The cold air cut harshly at his face, the wheat field swaying around him and rustling in a way that was distinctly ominous, though he wasn’t sure why. Dark clouds hung heavy overhead, blocking out the sun and sky and leaving the world washed out in colors of black and grey. This place wasn’t one Stan knew, but he did know it put him on edge, and he knew he shouldn’t be here. As he looked around an odd shape caught his eye– something between the rows of wheat. At this distance, what with his poor eyesight, it was little more than a pale blob, the brightest thing around for miles. He began walking towards it without much thought, curious. The closer he got, the clearer the blob became, until he realized with increasing unease that it was a body lying on the ground, the lower half of them hidden within the field. He’d been staring at their back. Crouching down he placed a hand on their shoulder– shuddering at how could and stiff they felt– struggling to roll them onto their back. He succeeded, and his breath hitched.
The face of the body was his own. At least, it appeared that way at first glance, but Stan knew his twin like no one else did, and he knew the differences between them by heart. The body had a cleft chin and softer jaw, hair thicker and curlier, shoulders not quite as broad as Stan’s. Further down were hands that had six fingers each, another distinguishing feature. Stanford with six fingers, Stanley with six toes. There was no denying it. The body was his twin, Ford, the eldest by twenty minutes.
Stan paused when he heard the voice– tiny and ethereal yet still authoritative– unsure where it had come from. “Hello?”
“I’m here.” The voice replied. Stan glanced down at his shoes, seeing a small pink creature on the ground. It looked like a lizard, but also like a fish. It was unlike anything Stan had seen before. Ford would probably know what the animal was if he were here. Stan sat on his haunches, inspecting the creature more closely.
            “What are you?”
“An axolotl. But I am of little importance. I am here because Stanford Pines is in danger.”
            “That’s my brother.”
The axolotl bobbed its head. “Yes, I am aware. I know much of you and your brother. I know that Stanford will end the world. I also know you will save it. I have something to ask of you.”
Stanley didn’t like how the lizard spoke of his brother, but he nodded, listening.
“Stanford is in Gravity Falls, Oregon. You must go to him. The work he is doing is more dangerous than he understands, and the being he is working with cannot be trusted. Stop him, Stanley, before it is too late.”

Snippets from “Meet Me On The Strange Trails” Chapter 12:
1. "Right then. Guess it's a start. Let's go–" Stanley stood and made to walk through the front door. Ford raised his hands.
"Stanley, wait! Jimmy's only been in jail for a few hours, that's not nearly enough time for us to be certain whether or not Bill is still in his head."
"Well, what are we supposed to do until then, stand around and twiddle our thumbs?"
2. "Stanley, I really am sorry I pushed you away. I've... missed this. I've missed you."
Stan's eyes glazed over, causing him to blink rapidly. "I– Yeah. Yeah, I've, uh, missed you too, pal."
"Once this is all over, maybe we can... I don't know... reconnect? There's so much I want to show you here. You could claim a room in the cabin and we could explore together!"
Stan stared at him with wide eyes, expression one of surprise. "You'd... want me to stay?"
What? How could Stan think Ford would want anything else? Well, perhaps Ford could understand why, actually. "Of course! I mean, if you're amicable..."
"I'm definitely amigable," Stan said, his face dead serious.
