I got this calendar from my mom for Christmas - and I kid you not, the first topic is comics. 👀📚 So this is what I got down to: Illustrating the nouns they picked in connection with comics (Bande Dessinée) & the International Comic Festival in Angoulême - which I really like to attend sometime. 🎟️🎯 I’ve been to Annecy once for the International Animation Film Festival and it was a great experience, so I think Angoulême would be too. 💌💖 But I guess I need to improve my French skills further. Although you get by with English, too. 🙈 Un peu. ✨ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J'ai reçu ce calendrier de ma mère pour Noël - et je ne plaisante pas, le premier sujet est les bandes dessinées. 👀📚 Alors, j'ai commencé à illustrer les noms qu’ils ont choisi en relation avec les Bande Dessinee & le Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d’Angoulême - quel je veux visiter à la fois. 🚅🖼️ J'étais une fois à Annecy pour le Festival international du film d'animation d'Annecy et c'était une super expérience, donc je pense qu'Angoulême le serait aussi. 💕 Mais je suppose que je dois encore améliorer mon français. 'Où étiez-vous au moment du meurtre? / Where were you at the time of the murder?' The first sentence I researched on Duolingo. Because I'm a crime fiction fan and I thought it would be funny to look up typical questions one would find in a crime drama - and Duolingo dictionary delivered. 😆 Honestly, I was flabbergasted - and then highly amused. Therefore I had to honor this moment with a sketch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ La phrase premier, quel j'ai recherché en Duolingo. Last #inktober2022 post: #farm - "Have you seen improvement this year or tried the challenge for the first time?" 👀 Honestly, last year the 31st prompt was easier to make meaningful.
