Glow out

Katsuki bakugo x reader

Groaning you sat up in your bed as the front door slammed shut. You heard some quiet cursing from down the hall and let out a sigh. Katsuki was home.

Slipping out of bed you walked out of the bedroom, feet patting down the hall. You'd left a lamp on for Katsuki so that he could see when he returned from a long day at work. Entering the living room you frowned when you saw Katsuki crouched down and holding his head.

"Baby?" You whispered and his head whipped up.

"Hey, firefly." He greeted looking up.

Smiling softly you walked over to him, crouching down in front of him.

"Tough day?" You asked and he nodded running a hand through his hair.

"Want to talk about it?" You offered but he shook his head, standing up.

You sighed before nodding. Standing up you stretched before offering the male your hand. He rose his brows at you and you rolled your eyes.

"Come on. You and I are going to go to bed and cuddle and you're going to like it." You smiled grabbing his hand. However your weren't prepared for him to rip his hand out of yours.

"Not tonight. I'm going to sleep on the couch." He told you and your eyes widened.

"Okay but why?" You asked wrapping your arms around yourself.

He shook his head before pushing past you and going into the bedroom, grabbing his pillow and a spare blanket. With a pout you walked back into your bedroom, and grabbed your phone.

Clicking on Kirishima's contact you selected the message icon.

You: You awake?

Riot: Yeah why

You: Katsu is in a bad mood. Any idea why?

Riot: Tough day.

Lost a couple civilians and a kid.

Just needs some space :)

You: Okay. Thanks :)

Setting the phone down you frowned. Hero work was relentless and could be emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausting. It was part of the reason you never wanted to be a hero. Katsuki knew what he wanted though and he fought for his place at the top.

You knew he loved his job, but knowing that it also hurt him made your heart ache. With a sigh you rolled off the bed and walked into the living room where Katsuki was lying on the couch.

"Baby? You still up?" You inquired but received no response.

Quietly you walked over to him and smiled softly. He was asleep. Sitting down next to the couch you placed your head next to him. You didn't mean to but eventually you fell asleep next to the blonde.

It was still dark when you woke up again. This time in your own bed, the bed you shared with Katsuki. Glancing over you smiled sleepily when you saw Katsuki was sleeping next to you.

Wiggling over to him you snuggled into his back and let out a content sigh. Slowly you fell asleep again this time with the man you loved.

In the morning you woke up to Katsuki swearing and things slamming. A repeat of last night. Jumping out of bed you pulled a jacket on and ran into the kitchen.

"Sorry I slept in!" You apologized opening the fridge and pulling out some eggs and orange juice.

He didn't answer, just went into the entry way and pulled on his shoes. This surprised you because it was supposed to be his day off.

"Baby? It's Sunday. You have today off?" You said your brows quirking in confusion.

"And? I can go out if I damn well please." He snapped and you flinched.

"Yeah. You're right. Who am I to question one of the top 5." You huffed rolling your eyes. In all reality it hurt your feelings when he yelled at you but you couldn't let him know that. It was a sign of weakness with him.

"I'll be back tonight. Don't wait up." He called out to you and you sighed before replying.

"Okay. Do you want me to leave something for you?" It was silent for a single beat before he replied with a simple 'no'.

When the front door closed you finally let the tears spill over. Sliding down in front of the counter tops you leaned back into them. Tears flowed freely as you sobbed. You were trying so hard to be supportive but it was difficult when he refused to be helped.

You sat on the kitchen floor for about 15 minutes trying to pull yourself together before you finally stood up. Putting the eggs and juice away you pulled out a f/d instead and then went about cleaning the house.

The bathroom, the bedroom, the kitchen, the living room, every closet and drawer you could until there was nothing left to clean. Then you sat on the couch and thought about what to do next. However that was answered for you when you began to doze off, snuggling into the jacket that smelled like Katsuki.

When you woke up it was with a jolt. Your eyes squinted as they tried to adjust to the dark. At first you thought that Bakugo had returned home but when the door was slammed into again you decided it wasn't.

Jumping up you ran to the bedroom and grabbed your phone before hiding in the closet. You felt the walls shake as the door was slammed into again.

Shakily you unlocked your phone and hit the call button on Katsuki's contact. It rang and rang and rang, but no one answered. Then the front door slammed open with a loud crash.

Panicked, you pressed on Kirishima's contact and hoped he'd answer. It rang for about 3 seconds before he picked up.

"Y/n? What's up?" He answered casually and you held back a sob.

"Some- someone is in- in- in the house." You stuttered as you held one hand over your mouth.

You heard the intruder throwing things and breaking your belongings, trashing the home you'd just worked so hard to make welcoming. It broke you.

You could hear Kirishima scuffling on the other line as he told you to stay where you were and to stay on the phone. You nodded before realizing he couldn't see you. Whispering a small okay you tried to quiet your breathing.

Then your bedroom door opened. Pushing yourself further back into the closet you winced when they began to throw your belongings around, even flipping the queen sized bed on its side.

You heard Kirishima swear before the closet door was swung open. Holding your breath you hoped they wouldn't see you, or investigate further. However your luck seemed to be running on empty because just as the intruder went to leave your phone lit up as Katsuki began to call you back.

With a scream you were pulled out of the closet by your ankle. You'd dropped your phone in the struggle as they yanked you out onto your bedroom floor.

"Hey boss. Look what I found. It's blasty's little girl thang." He, as you could now see his face, chortled.

Your eyes were wide with terror as you turned to see who this supposed boss was. When your eyes met with his you tried not to scream again. It was the side-kick of some rank C villain who'd Katsuki caught and jailed about a week ago.

"You-" you started but yelped when the side-kick's lackey picked you up, and threw you over his shoulder.

"Scream and I'll make sure he breaks every single one of your ribs. Try to run and I'll kill you myself." The 'boss' threatened and you nodded. Once you were out of the apartment though you'd fight back because there was no way in hell you'd go without a fight.

Your quirk was useless in pretty much all forms of combat but you'd been taking hand-to-hand combat lessons with both Katsuki and Kirishima for months. Your quirk was Luminescence. You had the ability to light yourself up like a very bright lightbulb for up to a minute. It didn't provide heat or anything dangerous it was just blinding.

As soon as they stepped out of the door you lit yourself up. The boss flinched away and the brute carrying you dropped you in an attempt to shield his eyes. Hitting the floor you scrambled up, and darted down the hall, your skin slowly returning to it's natural shade and brightness. In a way you were glow in the dark for a few moments after using your quirk.

Running for the stairs you screamed when a purple sludge wrapped around your ankle tripping you. You fell head first down the flight of stairs, before hitting the first landing. You groaned and you head stung in a few spots from where you hit the stairs.

Pushing yourself up you gasped as the ground seemed to sway and distort. Not good. Deciding it was best not to stand you slid down the stairs instead, as fast as you could. Your head hurt, your back hurt, your elbows hurt. Everything hurt but you needed to get out.

You managed about 2 flights before the villain wanna-be's caught up to you. Pushing yourself up finally you held onto the railing for support. Just one more flight and you would be on the main floor. Just one more.

Glaring at them you waited for them to make a move before blasting them with the brightest light you could manage. You heard them shout but you didn't care. You stumbled down the stairs, glad to have the railings support.

Making it into the front lobby you screamed when a lava blast hit the wall where your head had been. Looking up you stopped breathing for a second. The side-kick hadn't come with a plot for revenge, he came with his mentor.

"Well I guess there's a reason he chose you. A little spitfire aren't ya? It's a shame I'll have to kill you!" He smirked before lobbing another lava ball at you. Dodging you ran behind the front desk and scrambled across the floor.

"Please don't make this any harder than it has to be. This was supposed to be a simple kidnap and ransome thing but you fought back. Unfortunately for you we keep our promises and I'm pretty sure it was promised to kill you if -" he was cut off by a loud blast and glass shattering.

You yelped as glass scattered around the room. Ducking you shielded your head as the glass rained over you. Then you screamed as you were grabbed by the back of your neck and lifted into the air. Shit.

"Uh uh uh. Make one wrong move and I'll roast her from the inside out." The villain sneered from behind you and you winced as his hands began to heat up.

"Let her go, lava breath. She ain't got nothing to do with this!" Katsuki growled his hands out and sparking.

"Oh but DynaMight she has everything to do with this. She is your, what do you call her?" The villain prompted and you writhed in his hold.

"She-" he paused as he glanced at you.

Your hair was wild and unkempt as you struggled in the villains hold, but your eyes were blazing. Your head had split open at some point because there was blood smeared across your forehead. Your clothes even had small tears in them from getting caught on things. Ultimately though, you were you, his firefly, his world, his life.

"She's mine, and you're screwed." He growled taking a step forward.

The villain took this as a threat because his hold on you tightened and his hand heated up. You gasped before kicking your legs back and forth.

"You son of a-" you started but then the stairwell door opened.

"Boss that bitch isn't quirkless she can-" you cut the side-kick off with a shout.

"DynaMight close your goddamned eyes!" Then you lit up their worlds. Literally.

The villain dropped you as he reached up to his eyes with a scream. Getting up you kicked him in the dick before turning to Katsuki.

"You and I are going to have a long chat after this, do you hear me? You're in so much trouble." You hissed pointing at him and then turning back around and stomping into the villains back.

"You're an absolute moron! Both of you!" You screamed as you began to cry as you kicked the villain again and again and again.

"Firefly..." You heard Katsuki murmur as he came up behind you, slowly pulling you away from the groaning man.

"You... You left me, Suki! We're a team and you keep shutting me out! And then these morons..." You sniffled gesturing at them as you turned to face him.

"I know, baby. I know. I'm- I'm so sorry." He whispered and you huffed into his chest. You pushed away from him, and turned around jabbing a finger at the side-kick and his lackey.

"And you absolute bafoons, who in the hell told you I was quirkless?!" You raged throwing your hands up.

Katsuki rolled his eyes before pulling you behind him, where Kirishima took you outside to an ambulance to be looked over.

Inside Katsuki not only arrested them but, off the record of course, beat the everliving life out of them. Then he found out about the apartment and your trip down the stairs. He had to be held back for that one.

For about a week you stayed at Kirishima's place because Katsuki said he would rather die than go stay with his mother. You rolled your eyes at that but left it be. You were a little upset when Katsuki told you that you were going to find another place to live.

"But Katsu-" you whined but he silenced you with a look.

"We're moving. I can't live in that place knowing how easily they got to you and knowing what happened." He argued and you harrumphed but left it alone.

In another week you'd moved into a new place with all new furniture, and several security measures put in place. Katsuki had even gone as far as to put in cameras. You tried to reason with him but he wasn't having it. At least he'd let you decorate the home and choose the new furniture.

He stayed out of work for about 3 weeks before he finally went back. You assured him with a smile but he seemed to be fighting against himself. You laughed as he glared at his phone that was ringing, calling him in.

"Get out of here. I'll be fine." You laughed and he growled pulling you into his chest.

"Stay safe. If you need me just call. No matter what I'll answer." He promised and you nodded.

"Okay. Now get out of here you clingy bastard!" You teased as you pushed away from him.

He rolled his eyes but grabbed his belongings and turned to the door. You watched him, smiling as he pulled the door open. You were sure he was going to step out but he didn't. He whipped back around and started towards you.

"What?" You asked, and then he pulled you to him again, kissing you. His hands gripped your hips tightly as he kissed you hungrily.

You released a small moan as he pulled you to him snugly but then he was pulling away. Your eyes fluttered open as you let out a breathy 'wow'.

"I'll see you later, firefly." He grinned and you nodded.

"See you." You breathed as he stepped out. You'd definitely be finishing that later.

Paul Lahote x reader

Your heart was in your throat as Bella came storming into the Black's home. You leapt up from your seat on the couch as she stormed through the living room. Your eyes darted over to Billy who was turning around in his wheelchair.

"Who-" you started but were silenced with a shake of the man's head. You frowned but stood up to follow her into the back room.

"Is everything okay?" You offered and the girl whipped around to you.

"Who are you? Why are you here? What's been going on with Jake?" She fired the questions at you so quickly that you had to pause and think each one over.

"Uh, I'm y/n. I'm here to help Billy and Jake. He's been dealing with some stressful changes and Billy can only do so much." You responded carefully, your brows furrowing as you took her in.

"It's Bella, right? How about we talk in the living room? Let Jacob sleep?" She seemed to consider the offer, her eyes drifting back over to Jake.

"He'll be fine. We'll only he a shout away." You assured and she sighed.

"I've just been so worried." She admitted and you nodded, grasping her arm and leading her out of the room.

"I understand. I felt, no I feel that way, with Paul." You smiled and she turned to face you.

"Who's-" she started and you grinned.

"He's my boyfriend. You and Jake, are you close?" You asked guiding the conversation to a safer topic.

"Uhm yeah. Well no. I don't know. I thought we were, but then he had his whole disappearing act and now I'm not sure." She worried her lip and you nodded.

"I get it. Well, maybe I don't. Every relationship is different." You shrugged as you plopped down onto the couch.

Her brows seemed to furrow together as she tried to figure you out. You let her. There was nothing extraordinary about you, unless you counted your werewolf boyfriend.

"You can ask your questions, Bella. I don't bite." But my boyfriend does.

You chuckled when the thought entered your head, but sobered yourself up quickly.

"Sorry. It's just I don't remember ever seeing you, or you being mentioned. I feel like I should've known about you." She frowned and you smiled.

"Maybe. I go to school with you, but really I wouldn't expect you to notice me. I'm not that popular compared to the Cullen's and Hales." You grinned but her frown only deepened.

"Sorry. Touchy subject." You bit your lip before pushing yourself up.

"How about we check up on Jake one last time and then go out for ice cream or something? My treat." You gave her a soft smile and she nodded making her way back to Jacob's room.

You went to follow her but let out a grunt when she pushed past you and out the back door. You stumbled at first but quickly righted yourself. Looking out the window you gasped when you realized what was happening.

"Bella?!" You called racing after her as she raced up to your boyfriend and his pack.

"Bella!" You called again a little more forcefully but she ignored you, pushing Sam.

"What did you do? What did you do?! What did you do to him?" She demanded and you tried to pull her back.

Paul jumped forward to defend his alpha, but Sam was quick to put him down.

"Bella. Calm down." You tried as you grabbed her arm, but she only yanked it back.

"He didn't want this!" She insisted and you frowned.

"What did we do?" Paul snarled and you shot him a look.

"What did he do? What did he tell you?" He continued as Sam tried to intercept. He tried to calm them both down but neither one was ready to do that.

"Nothing!" Bella raged desperately, "he's told me nothing because he's scared of you!" She told them and you glanced between her and the pack.

"Bella what about we-" you started but winced as the boys started to laugh.

"Bella...." Your voice was soft, desperate.

Then she smacked Paul. You jumped forward immediately, pulling her away from him. You heard one of the boys make a comment but you only heard Sam's voice.

"Y/n, Bella, get back!" He demanded and your arms wrapped around Bella tightly as you pulled her back throwing her behind you.

"Paul calm down now." You heard Sam demand, but you knew it wouldn't work. You watched as he shifted, slowly backing up with Bella as your boyfriend stalked towards the two of you.

"Paul, you need to back up. You can't hurt Bella." You snapped and the wolf growled at you.

"Bella. Run, now." You snapped and she didn't hesitate. She turned around and began running for the house.

You could hear Bella screaming to run, and you heard Jacob yell for her, but your heart was pounding in your ears.

You flinched when you heard Jacob shift, and land on the soft ground behind you. You slowly turned, breathing heavily as you watched him snarl and growl.

"Y/n move!" You heard Sam command but you were frozen. If you moved would Jacob hurt Paul? Could he get to Paul without hurting you? Would he risk the law? You didn't have time to think about it as Sam tackled you to the side.

You landed on your back hard, the air coming out in a wheeze. However, you were quick to get back on your feet when you heard the wolves growl and bite at each other. You watched in horror as they fought, your heart breaking when Paul whimpered.

"Stop them!" You cried as you tried to push past Sam who was checking your head.

"Y/n you're bleeding. I need you to calm down." He coerced pulling your eyes to him and away from Paul and Jacob.

"But-" you tried, even though Sam was already giving orders.

"Take Bella and y/n back to Emily's place." He said before going after Paul and Jacob. Jared was quick to come over and hoist you up as Embry helped Bella to her feet.

"Paul..." You whispered before reaching for the back of your head.

"Ouch." You hissed as you pulled your hand back and blood coated your finger tips.

"Damn, that's not good." Jared winced and you glanced up at him.

"No, really? Y'know the dizziness probably isn't great either." You snarked wiping the blood off on your jeans.

"Truck. Now." You demanded and Bella nodded as she raced back to her vehicle.

You and the boys followed, Embry taking the driver's seat as you slid in next to him, in-between him and Bella. Jared hopped into the bed of the truck, and if your head wasn't pounding you would have laughed.

When Embry pulled up into the driveway, you leaned over to get out, trying not to puke. Both boys let out a whoop and you winced. Embry apologized before holding out his hand offering to help you out. You grasped it, hopping out, before thanking him. He nodded as you began to walk toward the house.

"Hey, I think we should go back and see if Jacob's okay." Bella called as she rolled down her window, and you whipped around so fast your head spun.

"And I think that he better come back with my boyfriend in one piece. Get your ass out of the car Bella." You snapped and she frowned.

"I hope Paul sinks some teeth in him. Serves him right." Jared grinned and you nodded.

"No way. Jacob's a natural. You see him phase on the fly." Embry argued and you shot him a glare.

"All I'm saying is I got 5 that says Paul doesn't touch him." He grinned and you pushed him lightly. He laughed before turning to the truck.

"Come on in, Bella. We won't bite." He invited and you rolled your eyes.

"Speak for yourself." You and Jared spoke at the same time before smirking at each other.

You followed him into the house hoping for some ice for your head. You vaguely heard Bella's truck door open before you found Emily.

"Hey, Emily. Do you have any ice?" You smiled and she rose a brow.

"Roughhousing with the boys again?" She smiled and you shrugged.

"What can I say. I can't help myself." You smiled and she nodded.

"Okay ice is in the freezer. I'll check your head myself once everyone is back." She told you and you nodded.

Walking over to the freezer you pulled out a few icecubes and shoved them into a baggy. As you turned you smiled as Emily started grabbing the snacks.

"Now are you guys hungry? Like I have to ask." Emily teased and you let out a snort.

Then Bella walked in as you turned around putting the ice to the back of your head. Emily seemed caught off guard but caught herself quickly.

"Who's this?" She asked and the boys were quick to answer.

"Bella Swan. Who else?" Jared joked and you rolled your eyes.

"Hmm," Emily considered her, "so you're the vampire girl?" She smiled and you laughed as you took a seat at the table.

"So you're the wolf girl?" Bella tried to retort and you smirked.

"Guess so. Well I'm engaged to one." Emily replied as she set the muffins down. You were quick to grab your muffin first for the fear that the boys would wolf them down, pun intended.

Then just as you thought, both boys dove in resulting in Emily lecturing them and offering a muffin to Bella, who stood awkwardly in the doorway.

"Uh sure. Thanks." Bella replied as she walked over to the table, grabbing one.

"Leave it to Jacob to find a way around Sam's gag order." Emily laughed and you grinned.

"Kinky." You murmured and Jared choked on his muffin. Bella frowned at you before responding.

"Uhm, he didn't say anything to me."

"That's a wolf thing. Alphas orders get obeyed whether we want them to or not." Embry explained and you rolled your eyes. "Oh and check it out. We can hear each other's thoughts."

"Only when you wolf out though." You argued and Jared groaned.

"Would you two shut up!? These are trade secrets. Damn it!" He complained before gesturing at Bella with a muffin. "This chick runs with vampires!"

Bella glanced down before looking back at your small group.

"You can't really run with vampires." She smiled, "cause they're fast."

Emily giggled and you rolled your eyes.

"Well Bells," you started but were interrupted by Jared.

"We're faster. Freaked out yet?" He snarked and you threw a piece of muffin at him.

"She hangs with vampires jar-head. I don't think big fluffy dogs are going to freak her out." You teased and he huffed.

"You're not the first monsters I've met." Bella said anyway and you glared. Opening your mouth you went to snap a reply but then Sam came in.

"Jake's right. You're good with weird." He teased and you glanced back to him.

"Paul?" You asked and he nodded toward the door before going over to Emily and kissing her over and over.

Getting up you started for the door when Paul and Jake started up the porch. Upon seeing your boyfriend you raced to him and jumped into his arms.

"Paul you hot head! Do you know how fucking worried I was!?" You complained and he laughed as he hoisted you up a little more.

"Sorry babe. We're all good now though." He apologized and you sighed.

He carried you back to the tables before sitting down with you in his lap. Happily you curled into him as he turned around and apologized to Bella.

She didn't reply, instead she excused herself and followed Jake to wherever they were going to talk.

When they left Emily came over to you and started to poke and prod at your skull. You hissed a few times and Paul frowned.

"What's up? Is she okay?" He asked and Emily nodded.

"Yeah. Probably just a concussion. She'll have a headache but she'll live." You groaned and Paul ran his hand up and down your back.

"I'm sorry babe. I didn't realize how close you were." He apologized and you shook your head.

"Not your fault. Just clumsy." You yawned and he laughed.

"Whatever you say, princess." He soothed and you nodded. Carefully he reached across the table and grabbed a muffin for himself before conversing with his brothers.

You must've fallen asleep because when you woke up it was to the sound of Paul calling your name. Groaning you rolled over in his arms.

"Mhm. What's up?" You hummed and he laughed.

"I have to take you home, hon." He replied kissing your forehead.

"Oh. Okay." You nodded and he shook with laughter. Sitting up with you in his arms he hoisted you up.

"Guys we're heading out." He called and everyone said their goodbyes. You waved tiredly before falling asleep in his arms again.

Once you got home Paul carried you inside and up into your room. You moaned softly when he set you down into your bed. Laughing he started to tuck you in when you grabbed ahold of his arm.

"Stay." You mumbled and he smiled softly.

"Baby I- alright fine." He sighed as he crawled in next to you. Grinning you snuggled into him.

His hand moved to the back of your head and began to move through your hair gently. You hummed in content as he played with it and ran his hands over your arm and back.

"I love you." You sighed and you felt him chuckle before he replied.

"I love you too." His voice rumbled through his chest and you smiled.

Slowly you both fell into an easy rest.

Embry x reader

After moving in with your aunt temporarily, you find it difficult to be happy about the situation. Oftentimes you'd go to your cousin, Sam's, house. When there you end up getting more than you bargained for, but maybe it's what you need.

Games

Shoving your food around on your plate you looked up at the woman sitting in front of you. Your aunt apparently. Glaring at her you stabbed into a chunk of food stuffing it in your mouth.

"So...," She started her voice unsure, "your mom is going to Paris?" Great conversation starter. Your mom running off with her rich boyfriend.

"Yeah. With Ron. Stupid fucking-" you grumbled your voice lowering to nothing.

"Well you're welcome here. You know that." She smiled tightly and you glanced away glaring at the wall.

"I know." You huffed before dropping your fork onto the plate. "I'm going to Sam's."

As you stood up your chair scraped loudly across the floor. Picking your plate up you walked into the kitchen and dropped the dirty dishes into the sink. You sighed as they clattered noisily. You heard your aunt let out a heavy breath before she called out.

"Y/n I know you don't want to be here but please try to be understanding." She tried, her voice faltering.

Sighing you rinsed the dishes and then grasped ahold of the sink. She may not have been your favorite person right now, but she took you in with no hesitation. Heaving a sigh you pushed yourself off the sink and walked back into the dining room.

"I'm sorry aunt Ally. I'm just, I don't like being dropped off like extra luggage." You explained, walking back over to the table and pushing your chair back in.

"I know sweetheart. Just," she paused, "tell Sam and Emily I said hi." She smiled pushing away from the table herself. You watched as she stood and made her way over to you.

"Have fun and be safe." She cautioned, pulling you into her arms.

You nodded, letting yourself hug her back.

"Sure thing." You murmured as you slowly pulled away.

Smiling sadly she waved you on and you gave her a small grin. Grabbing your bag from your temporary room you dashed to the front door.

"See you later!" You called snatching your jacket off of the coat rack as you stepped out onto the porch.

You noted the rainy weather and shook your head. It was Forks after all. Pulling out your car keys, you clicked the button to unlock your vehicle.

Yanking on the door handle the door opened with a squeak. You frowned but slid into the seat, starting the car and clicking your seat belt in place.

Rearranging the mirrors and seat you placed your hands on the steering wheel, letting out a sigh as you threw your head back. You let yourself enjoy the silence for a moment before you opened your eyes. Shifting the car into reverse, you pulled out of the driveway, before shifting back into drive. The ride was relatively quick as you drove to La push.

It took maybe 20 minutes before you pulled into the driveway. Putting the car in park you turned the vehicle off, hopping out onto the driveway.

The house was small and welcoming as you walked up to the porch. You raised your hand to knock but jumped when the door swung open and a boy rammed into you.

"Oomf." You huffed as you fell backwards off the porch and onto the ground. The boy didn't seem to notice or care as he hopped over you and ran into the woods.

"Rude." You grumbled pushing yourself back up. Brushing yourself off you walked back up to the house and knocked on the wall.

"Hello? Sam?" You called.

Emily walked around a corner and smiled when she saw you.

"Y/n! It's so good to see you. It's been too long." She huffed dramatically as she dried her hands off.

"I was here yesterday Em." You giggled as you entered the kitchen, immediately grabbing a cookie off of the plate on the table.

"I know but with all these boys around it feels like forever!" She smiled grabbing a cookie for herself.

"Right. Speaking of boys.... Who just ran out of here?" You inquired taking a bite of your cookie.

"Depends. Probably Paul though." She sighed as she glanced at the door.

"Maybe. First guy I've met since coming back other than Sam though." You smirked biting into the cookie again.

"It's probably best you don't meet the others." She sighed turning to the oven. Pulling on an oven mitt she pulled out a fresh batch of Chocolate chip cookies.

"Oh my gosh Em! Those look so good!" You moaned making grabby hands at the warm cookies.

"You can eat as many as you'd like once they've cooled down!" She laughed placing the cookies on a cooling rack.

"Fine." You grumbled sliding off of the stool.

"Where is Sam anyway?" You asked as you began to clear off the counters and put the dishes away.

"Out with the guys. Keeping them out of trouble I hope." She sighed thanking you as she began to wash the dishes in the sink.

You continued to help Emily with the chores and jumped when the front door slammed open.

"Em- oh my god are those cookies!" You heard multiple boys 'ooh' and 'aah' at the snacks and laughed.

"Em make sure they save some for me would you!?" You called as you switched the laundry in another room.

"Sure thing!" She hollered back and you could hear as she smacked someone's hands. Starting the laundry up again you skipped back into the kitchen.

"Cookies?" You asked and cheered when Emily handed you a plate.

"Thanks." You grinned taking a bite out of one.

"Wait wait wait why does she get an entire plate!?" One of the boys whined and you turned to face them. They were all super tall and that made you a little anxious.

"Because Quil, she helped me with the chores." Emily grinned as Sam wrapped his arms around her waist. The man turned to face you and smiled.

"Thanks for keeping her company and helping out." He smiled and ruffled your hair. You smiled at him and shook your head.

"Anything for her." You smiled kissing Emily on the cheek.

"After all she is my favorite." You laughed.

The male smiled at you before playfully lunging.

"Aaah whatever will I do!?" You jabbed and screamed as you ran out of the house. Sam chased you out in the game of tag and you shrieked as you jumped off of the porch.

"Have mercy!" You pled as you scrambled around the yard. Jumping over a log you squeaked when you ran into a person.

"Oh my god!" You yelped when Sam crashed into you and the guy you bumped into. You groaned but laughed as Sam rolled off of you. Pushing yourself up you smiled at the person underneath you.

"Are you alright?" You asked crawling off of him. He seemed stunned but smiled turning to face you.

"Yeah I'm good." He laughed.

Giggling you got up brushing yourself off.

"Sorry about that. Sam was trying to kill me because his fiance loves me more." You smirked sticking your tongue out at the male behind you.

"Need a hand?" You asked holding your hand out to him.

"Uh sure." He smiled nervously taking your hand in his.

You jumped at how hot his hand was. And how heavy. You yanked him up and lost your footing when he was off the ground.

Squeaking your arms wheeled as you tried to rebalance.

"Sam!" You shrieked and the man snickered as you fell back.

"Crap!" You heard the boy yelp as he grabbed your arm and pulled you into his chest.

"My bad." He chuckled. Smiling you pressed your hands to his shirtless chest.

"Thanks for saving me." You grumbled glaring at Sam.

The man smirked at you raising his hands in mock surrender.

"You tried to steal my fiance. Again." He snickered. "You had it coming."

You rolled your eyes before glancing up at the male with his arms now wrapped around your waist.

"I don't believe we've met. I'm y/n. You are?"

"Anything you want me to be." He whispered dreamily his eyes locked on yours. Your eyes widened and you mouth opened forming and 'O'.

"Embry. Stop being a creep!"

Jumping you turned when you heard a loud shout from the porch. Your eyes trained on the guy who'd pushed you earlier, Paul, smirking. Your eyes narrowed and you flipped him off.

"Easy there wolf bait. I might bite!" He laughed loudly and you huffed.

"Okay so you're Embry?" You asked facing the boy who held you, placing your hands on his forearms.

"Yeah. Embry Call." He nodded.

"Okay Call. Care to explain why you're looking at me like you're about to get on your knees and kiss my feet?" You smiled jokingly. Then quite literally the boy got on his knees in front of you.

"Oh my god! No! Stop that! Get up! Get up!" You panicked, flustered, hitting him on his shoulders. You could hear Sam cracking up behind you and whipped around to glare at him.

"Sam! Make him get up!" You shrieked. Sam curled over in laughter as you flushed.

"Embry! Can we talk about this? Get up!" You urged grabbing his arms and yanking. The boy glanced at you before standing up and holding your hand.

"Sorry. Too much?" He asked and you flushed.

"Just a bit." You agreed brushing some leaves out of his hair.

"Care to explain what this is all about or..." The silence spoke for itself.

"Maybe once we're inside? Sam and Emily can help me explain so I don't sound too stupid. Or look more stupid." He blushed under his russet skin.

You placed your hands on your hips and nodded.

"Alright let's do that." You agreed with a smile.

About an hour later you were sitting in the living room of your cousins house, your brain scrambling to take in all the new information. Your hand was in Embry's despite everyone telling you you didn't have to be in love with him. Glancing up you made eye contact with Sam.

"So you and Emily?" You hinted and the man nodded.

"And me and Embry?" You continued. Again the man nodded. With a sigh you faced Embry who was staring at your interlocked fingers.

"What do you think of all this?" You asked stroking your thumb over his knuckles. He jumped before looking up to you.

"I, uh,-" he stumbled over his words and you laughed.

"Whatever you have to say, Sam won't kill you for it." You assured and the boy relaxed slightly.

"I think you're really cute, and I think that I want you to be mine. Not that you have to be it's just you're so... Wow." He breathed as he stared into your eyes and you smirked as you rose a brow.

"That so?" You teased and he flushed.

You rolled your eyes before turning to Emily and Sam.

"So you boys turn into wolves? Because my new school has vampires? And you can get a soulmate thing out of that?" You asked trying to summarize.

"Plus the healing factors and being hot all the time." Embry added and you smirked.

"Em I thin- wait!" You whined slapping your forehead as you realized that Emily and Embry would have the same nickname.

Emily laughed as you flopped back into the couch and Embry stared in confusion.

"Sam. I don't think you have to worry about me stealing your fiance anymore." You sighed as you slid into Embry's shoulder.

Sam chuckled before pulling Emily close to him, kissing her forehead.

"I'm okay with that." He admitted and you groaned.

"Emilyyy! My love! Our union has been forbidden but I will always love you!" You exclaimed as you let yourself fall into Embry's lap dramatically.

The boy jumped before running his fingers through your hair. You hummed happily lifting a finger.

"On second thought I think I'm okay. I still get Emily on Fridays and Tuesdays though, okay?" You bargained and heard the group laugh.

"You'll have Emily every day when me and your puppy are out." Sam reminded and you gasped.

"You're right! That's great news." You grinned before opening your eyes and looking up to Embry.

"So you wanna try being boyfriend girlfriend, soon to be genderbent Emily and Sam?" You asked and the boy smiled.

"I'm okay with that." He nodded and you shot him a couple finger guns.

"Great. So Sam that means lay off on my man or I'll steal Emily!" You warned and the man huffed.

"Y/n you already do that." He reminded and you rolled your eyes.

"Yeah whatever you say. For now I'm ignoring you because Embry is amazing and way prettier than you." You teased and grinned when Embry blushed.

This was going to be a fun relationship.

After getting a call from your boyfriend's brother you make your way to his workplace. However, you run into a dilemma. They won't let you in. Worried you force your way past and deal with more consequences than you bargained for... But you also get a reward.

WARNING: blood, torture(?), Cursing, knives

Dilemma

You stared at the man in front of you, your brows furrowed as he glared you down.

"Look I just want to see my boyfriend. I can call him?" You offered as you pulled out your phone. However, you flinched when the guard reached out snatching it from you.

"Hey!" You snapped but the man only pocketed the device.

"I don't think so sweetheart. You're gonna stand here and look pretty while we wait for the boss." He snarked and you took a deep breath.

"I already told you! I would like to speak to my boyfriend. I want to see Ran." You reiterated your jaw clenching as you fought the urge to sock him in the jaw.

Rindou had called you earlier telling you that Ran was in a sour mood and that he was going to get himself hurt. At first you had sighed telling him that it would be fine but when Ran had actually gone and started a fight with one of his colleagues you decided it was time to go see him.

That's why you were where you were now. Your original plan was falling apart as Rindou had gotten caught up and couldn't come down to escort you. That being said your plan to go up without a confrontation was shattered.

"Look either you let me through, or I'll have to make my way through." You threatened hoping it would work but the man only cocked his brow.

"You think so, princess? Then do it." He challenged and you sighed.

"Just remember you asked for this." You told him and the man merely laughed at you.

Rather aggravated and unsure you fainted to the left and then ran to the right, racing behind him. Throwing your arm out you punched him in the spine before lifting your leg, kicking his knees out from underneath him.

"Aaaah!" He yelled in surprise and you smirked.

The other guards stared in shock as you roundhouse kicked their leader in the head, causing him to collapse on the ground. Thank God for Mikey's fighting lessons.

However their stupor wasn't long lived as they surrounded you. Glowering you raised your fists. Several of them jabbed at you before one of them pulled out a taser, letting it zap you.

Yelping you collapsed as another guard moved to grab you by your arms. You were breathing heavily as he forced you up, but you yanked back as hard as you could to sock him in the face. Your fist made contact, but then you were pulled back. Struggling you threw your head back busting the person's nose. They loosened their grip but not so completely that you could pull away.

"Let me go!" You snapped but the rest of the guards just stared at you before their leader, who had finally gotten up, made his way toward you.

You glared at him as he stood in front of you. Your lips had curled into a sneer as he lifted his hand to grasp your chin.

"Take the bitch to an interrogation cell. We'll deal with her later." He commanded as he threw your face to the side.

"Are you fucking kidding me! Just call up there and tell them that y/n L/n is here! They'll speak up for me damn it!" You whipped your head up, snarling at them. Immediately the leader snapped his gaze to you.

"You don't tell us what to do, cunt. Now go willingly and we'll avoid slicing you up. Much." He threatened and you glowered at him. Then you spit in his face.

"Screw off! I'm going to kick your ass once Ran finds me." You told him as he wiped his face off.

"Take her down now. Make sure to make her real comfortable." He snapped in a way that sounded like it would be anything but.

The lackeys quickly did as they were told and you fought the whole way. Finally they got you into a room that had dried blood all over the walls and floor. Your nose srunched up as they shoved you inside.

"Make sure to cuff her to the table, Rottie." One of them ordered and you turned around to glare.

"You wouldn't fucking dare." You hissed but the man seemed indifferent, shrugging. He walked towards you and you backed away into the wall.

"Don't fucking touch me." You sneered but he ignored you reaching out to grab you.

"I said don't touch me!" You yelled smacking his hands away. His eyes widened in surprise before he narrowed them.

His arms shot out grabbing you by your hair as he threw you to the cement floor. You cried out at the pain that jolted through your limbs as you caught yourself.

"What the fu-" you were cut off as he hit you in the back of the head. Your vision became blurry as you tried to stay conscious.

As the man reached down for you you moved to lie on your back, kicking up into his stomach. He doubled over and you grinned. Pulling your legs back you kicked forward again, hard enough to push him back a few feet.

Pushing yourself up you moved to the opposite side of the table. You noted the other guard coming in, closing the door behind him. Your eyes darted back and forth as you took in the situation.

"Look all you have to do is call Ran. Or Rindou. Mikey even, I don't care. Just call one of them!" You begged as they cornered you.

"Shut up!" Rottie snarled as he pulled his fist back to hit you. Your eyes widened before you dodged the hit. His fist made contact with the cement and he let out a scream.

"I could've told you that wouldn't have worked." You admitted as you danced to the side, away from him.

"Pip..." He growled and your eyes widened.

"Pip? Interesting choice." You smiled but the man just scowled.

"Look-" you tried but the man dove at you and you let out a grunt as he tackled your waist.

Wrapping your own arms over his back your eyes widened when you noted the flashlight at his hip. It looked heavy, maybe about 10 inches long. Similar to the baton that Ran used. The same one he'd taught you to fight with. Reaching for it you yanked it from his belt. Lifting it above your head you swung down.

His grip immediately loosened as he fell down. Breathing heavily you met Rottie's gaze.

"Can we please just-" you were cut off as you were hit from behind. You could feel your eyes roll into the back of your head, as you fell toward the floor.

When you woke up again it was to ice cold water. Gasping you shot up and scrambled off of the table before hissing as metal dug into your wrist.

"What the hell!" You shreiked as you stood there dripping and shivering. Looking up you saw a man who was smirking at you.

"Oh look! You're awake! Now we can have some fun!" He cheered and you frowned.

"There isn't anything fun about this." You replied but he only grinned.

"Not yet, but I heard your plenty of fun when you're awake." He teased before splaying out a leather roll filled with sharp knives.

You let out an involuntary gasp as you tried to slip your hand out of the cuff. The man smirked in satisfaction before pulling a smaller blade out.

"I was told to cut you up a little bit before we really start, so where should I begin? Hmm? Your face? An arm? Maybe a leg?" He prompted and you shook your head as you began to panic.

Where was Ran? Or Rindou? Mikey maybe? Surely one of them would realize you were here. You're breathing quickened as the man rounded the table.

"Fuck off!" You snapped but he only grinned.

"Now, now, we're only just starting!" He teased and your eyes welled up with tears against your will.

He stalked toward you as you pulled frantically at the cuff. You couldn't move more than the length of your arm and you were fighting the anxiety crawling up your throat. The tears spilled down your cheeks as you yanked.

"Go away!" You begged as he stepped toward you, your eyes snapping to the shine of the knife.

"Quiet down." He snapped and bit your lip as you swallowed your cries.

"That's good." He soothed as he leaned foward, caging you between him and the table.

"Please don't." You squeaked as he lifted the knife to your face.

"Orders are orders, doll. And I want to make you scream." He hushed and you paled.

He smiled at this before letting the knife trail down your cheek, cutting the skin open with how sharp it was. Inhaling sharply you pulled away from him. The blood beading up quickly before dripping down your face.

"Louder." He chided snatching your arm and throwing you back onto the table. Rolling over onto the other side you swore as the cuff dug deeply into your wrist, the other knives falling to the floor with a dull thud. He grinned as he moved around the table.

"Now now! I can't have you running away." He chastised as you scrambled away. He heaved a sigh seemingly annoyed before he reached over the table grabbing your by your cuffed arm and pulling you onto the metal surface.

Struggling you screamed and thrashed before he placed the knife at your throat.

"Stop moving!" He growled as you hyperventilated.

"Please stop." You begged but he only traced the tip of the knife along your jawbone.

You winced as the cool metal before he pressed down again, a thin line of blood following.

"You're such a brat. I didn't expect so much disobedience." He admitted and you glared at him.

"Sorry to be such a disappointment." You snarled before lifting your leg to kick the man in the head.

He stumbled to the side as you slid off of the table again. Pulling at the cuff you swore as blood began to drip down your hand and fingers.

Straightening the man grinned at you. Your heart pounded as you hardened your gaze.

"You kick pretty hard. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you kick like Mikey!" He cheered and you sighed.

"Call him and find out." You challenged but he only stalked toward you.

"No can do. I have to pay you back for that stunt first." He shrugged and you choked in fear.

As he moved toward you, you tried to back away but he grabbed you by you arm pulling you into him, into the knife.

Gasping sharply you fell into him. Your fingers dug into his clothing as you began to collapse. Your chest rose and fell rapidly as you tried to ignore the pain.

He tutted at you before letting you fall to the floor, leaving the knife in place. You fell painfully, as your arm was jerked above your head. The knife protruded from your abdomen as you hyperventilated.

"You- Ran. I need Ran." You whimpered as the tears fell down your face and onto the cement floor.

"Hmm. I'll talk to him. Maybe." The man taunted as you stared at the blood staining your shirt.

"No..." You started but jumped when screaming echoed down the hall.

Looking up you saw the man's face scrunch up before the door was being thrown open. You were to weak to stand, to jump up, but you could hear someone call your name. You wanted to look up but you were so tired.

"Y/n!? Y/n baby. Hey look at me. Please." They begged as you slowly looked up.

"Ran?" You murmured as he held your face.

"Oh god. Oh god okay. You! You go get my brother and have him get the car ready. Now!" Ran ordered as you leaned into him.

"Hey princess. Hey I'm here. I'm right here." He spoke and you stared up but you couldn't focus.

"Ran..." You groaned and you could feel his grip tighten.

"It's me baby. It's me." He told you and you whined.

"Hurts." You cried and you heard him inhale sharply.

"God I know sweetheart. I'm so sorry." He apologized as he brushed your hair back.

"You. Uncuff her. Now." Ran ordered and you heard the shuffling of feet. Looking up you saw the familiar brown hair of Rottie, except now he had a head wrap.

He uncuffed you and you heard Ran swear when he saw the damage to your wrist. It was rubbed raw and had gouges from you yanking on it trying to escape.

"Fuck." You heard him gasp under his breath and you moaned softly before you slowly began to fall into unconscious.

You heard Ran curse and then you screamed. He had picked you up off the floor causing the knife to be jostled. The pain burned throughout your torso as you sobbed.

"Shit! I'm going to kill you Sanzu!" He growled as the pink haired man shrugged.

Working around the knife Ran hoisted you up into his arms and you screamed. Then you felt like throwing up.

"Move." Ran demanded as he carried you bridal style out of the room. All of the men moved to the side as he carried you away.

You whimpered as he carried you to the elevator quickly pressing the correct button. You whimpered into his shoulder as he carried you out.

"Shush princess. I have you. I have you." He soothed into your ear but you were in so much pain.

"Oh hey bo-" a familiar voice greeted and you looked over to see the guard who had ordered this on you in the first place.

"She- you- what?" He stumbled over his words as Ran pushed past him.

"You and I will have words, but right now I have to take my fiance to the hospital." Ran growled, pushing the door open.

"Rindou! You better have that fucking car ready!" He snapped and you groaned.

"I'm sorry baby. So sorry." He apologized as he pulled the back door open lying you down on the length of the seat, cautious of the protruding knife. Then he slammed the door shut making himself room beside you.

"Go!" He ordered and you sniffled as Rindou hit the gas.

You were hyperventilating as Ran held your hand and you could feel the blood run down your sides onto the seat.

"Ra-Ran. I- I'm bleeding all- all over." You stuttered but the man only held onto you tighter.

"It's fine. It's okay. Don't worry about it." He reassured but his mind was running a million miles a minute.

It wasn't fine. It wasn't okay. He was worrying about it. Why were you bleeding so much? Why were you there? Why didn't he realize sooner? Why?

He hated the feeling of seeing your blood soaking through your clothes but only because it was yours. God, where was he when you'd needed him? What the hell were you thinking?

He was pulled back as Rindou pulled up to the hospital. Quickly Rindou opened the door, stumbling out, and running into the hospital urging the medical staff to come out. Soon after the car door was pulled open as they moved to get you inside. They immediately swarmed you with nurses who had him help to place you on a gurney before wheeling you back. Away from him.

As he waited he filled out the medical forms as they worked on you, just to keep himself busy. Eventually, though he finished and didn't have anything else to think about but you. Pacing the floor he waited and waited and waited, but ultimately sat down heavily in the waiting room.

About 15 minutes later Rindou ran in looking for his brother, looking for an update on your condition.

"Ran!?" He called and Ran sighed before calling him over.

Rindou looked back and raced over to his brother. He looked like he was lost in thought, wondering what was happening. Sitting down beside Ran he leaned into the chair, letting out a heavy sigh.

"I'm sorry." He apologized and his brother moved to look at him.

"What are you talking about Rindou. It's not your fault." Ran sighed but Rindou shook his head.

"I called her. I asked her to come in." Rindou admitted as his brother furrowed his brows.

"What? Why?" He breathed and Rindou leaned further back staring at the ceiling.

"I hoped that she could make you feel better. I called her and asked her to come in. I couldn't get down to escort her in, but I had no idea..." Rindou stopped as he leaned forward holding his head in his hands.

Ran stared at him before smacking him upside the head.

"You're a moron, but I can't blame you. Y/n would be pissed if I did talking 'bout how it was her choice. That you couldn't have stopped her if you tried." Ran smirked despite the anxiety in his eyes and Rindou looked up.

"God. She's got you whipped." Rindou teased and Ran glared.

"I know. Why do you think I got this?" He snapped throwing a black velvet box at his brother.

Rindou caught it easily enough before opening it. His eyes widened at the jewelery inside.

"You're going to propose?" He whispered and Ran nodded.

"Yeah. Although I think I may have jumped the gun. I've been calling her my fiance for about a month now at, uh, work." He sighed as Rindou stared at the shiny engagement ring.

"Wow. Those guys are so screwed." Rindou chortled and Ran nodded.

"I'm going to kill them." He admitted and Rindou shook his head.

"Sounds fair. I'm going to head back, round them up. Call me when she wakes up." He replied standing up, grabbing his brothers shoulder.

Ran nodded watching as his brother left. Then he was waiting. Again. Finally a nurse came out calling for your family. He stood up and she raised a brow before noting the engagement ring. Her brows shot up in surprise before she led him to your room.

They had you set up to an IV and had changed you into a hospital gown. Your hair was sprawled out on the pillow and you had a bandaid on your face where the first cut had taken place.

Ran thanked the woman before taking a seat next to you. His hand grasped yours as he pulled out the ring and slid it onto your finger.

"I know you're not awake right now. I know you're in pain, but I love you. I love you so much y/n. I don't know what I'd do without you, which is why I tried to keep you as far away from this as possible. Why I bought this, but now you're here and-" he stopped when he felt the tears coming on.

"God. Look at me. I am whipped for you." He joked, and then jumped when your hand squeezed his.

"Ran." You mumbled and he gaped at you.

"Y/n...." He sighed before he leaned over you kissing your forehead.

"You had me so worried there baby. God I don't think I've ever wanted to kill someone so badly." He sighed as one hand grasped your cheek, the other still holding the hand at your side.

"Mhm. Sorry Ran Ran. Are you okay?" You asked and he laughed. He laughed so loud you smiled.

"Oh man y/n. You got stabbed and you're asking if I'm alright?" He teased and you huffed.

"Well I'm sorry! You were just-!" You were cut off as he kissed you.

Sighing you relaxed letting your free hand reach up to grab him by the back of his neck. Humming you pulled away slowly.

"I needed that." You smiled before wincing as it pulled on the cheek wound. Ran stared at you before kissing your knuckles.

"Baby, I want to make you my wife." He whispered and you glanced up at him.

"Are you serious Ran?" You asked your eyes wide. He nodded.

"I'm pretty sure. You know considering." He chuckled as he lifted your hand to show you the ring. Your eyes watered as they looked at the ring before darting back to him.

"You better come over here and kiss me right fucking now." You demanded and he laughed. Leaning over he kissed you again, just as you'd told him to. Pulling away you grasped his hand as you answered.

"Yes. I mean you didn't ask but I don't care. I'd say yes a million times over." You expressed as you pressed your forehead to his.

"Next time though can we avoid the whole torture session? The stabbing in particular? I'm not going to lie to you, I'm not feeling it." You tried to joke but frowned when you saw his face drop.

"Ran. I'm okay now. You got to me. You saved me. I'm okay. We're both okay." You promised but he only glared at the sheets.

"Haitani Ran. Grow a pair and fucking look at me!" You snapped and he grumbled before looking at you.

Leaning forward you hissed as you jostled the stitches and bandages. Slowing down you moved to grab his face, pulling him to you.

"I love you. This wasn't your fault. You and I are going to get married, and then we're going to rule the world. Plus I still have to go back and kick that guys ass." You reassured and you heard Ran snicker at your last comment.

"God y/n. You're amazing." He smiled and you gave him a small smirk.

"I know. I think I get some of it from my fiance." You giggled and he sighed letting his head fall into your chest.

"I love you." He murmured and you nodded as you hugged around his shoulders.

"I love you, too, Ran. Now either get in this bed with me or go home so I can go to sleep and relax. Sitting up like this hurts." You whined and he laughed as he pulled away. You pouted at first but then he was crawling in to snuggle in beside you.

You were both careful not to jostle the IV as his arms encircled your waist and then you snuggled into him softly.

"Oh my god. We're engaged. That means you're stuck with me. No taking it back." You grinned and you felt the man nod.

"Of course not." He replied kissing your forehead.

Mikey always came home to you. Always. However, one day you were given a real up close and personal experience on what Mikey did when he wasn't home with you.

You awoke with a jolt when you heard your bedroom door open and groaned as you rolled over. It was still dark, you noted as you pushed yourself up onto an elbow. Turning to face the door you rubbed your eyes as the person moved inside, closing the door once again.

"Hey, baby." The figure said and you smiled.

"Mikey, hey." You murmured as you pushed yourself up into a sitting position. You slid over to the side of the mattress to make room for the male.

You watched intently as he slid his jacket off, and then his shirt. He tossed them to the side before moving towards you, crawling up next to you. You giggled quietly as he moved in kissing your cheek.

"Did I wake you?" He asked and you nodded.

"Yeah but it's okay. How are you, my Mikey?" You hummed and he nuzzled into your shoulder.

"It's been a long day." He sighed and you nodded, not pressing any further.

Reaching up you began to play with his hair before leading him down, into a lying position. He sighed heavily as he held onto you, and you to him.

"I love you." He whispered as he held onto you tighter.

"I love you, Mikey." You soothed as your fingers combed through his hair.

You stayed like that for a while before Mikey slid away from you momentarily. Your brows furrowed in confusion before he sighed rolling over, on top of you his hips straddling yours. You let out a gasp and he chuckled at you. You pouted but you quickly forgave him when he started kissing you. Your shoulder, your neck, and finally your lips.

You smiled into the kiss and you felt him relax against you. One of his hands trailed up your waist, dancing over your shoulder, up your neck, before cupping your face, his thumb stroking your cheek. You let out a quiet moan, your own hands moving to curl into his hair. He laughed before he flipped you both, so that you were straddling him.

"Jesus!" You yelped but he only smirked at you in the dark.

"Not here babe. Just me." He teased and you snorted.

"Mikey you're terrible." You joked leaning down and kissing him before he could answer.

"But that's okay because I like you. Plus you're pretty hot." You grinned as you pulled away and he rolled his eyes.

"Whatever. Let's just go to bed." He grumbled yanking you down. You let out a small 'oomf' but quickly situated yourself so you were both comfortable.

Your cheek was pressed to his chest as you listened to his heart beat, and his arm was wound around you as his lips pressed to your forehead. Smiling you let your fingers dance along his shirtless torso, giggling when he squirmed away when he got ticklish. He was home. He was with you and at that moment that was all that mattered.

You must've fallen asleep because when you woke up, the sun was filtering in through your curtains and you and Mikey had shifted positions.

With a small groan you snuggled into him as he mumbled something incoherent. You hummed as he moved, wrapping his arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him. You smiled contently as you started to fall back asleep.

However you were brought back when you heard your stairs creaking. Groaning you pressed your face into Mikey's chest. He grumbled a little bit before tucking your head under his chin. The muffled voices became clearer as they were now just outside your door.

You heard the door creak open and felt Mikey grunt in disapproval. His arms tightened ever so slightly as he hid his face in your hair.

"What'd I tell you kid? He's here with his girl." You heard Draken snicker and you flushed.

"He has a-" a new voice started but stopped when Mikey pulled the comforter up over your body.

"Takamichi. Kenny." He greeted and you moaned lightly as he moved away from you.

"Sorry, baby. Go back to sleep." He whispered as he leaned back down kissing your forehead.

You sighed as he moved to crawl over you, but you weren't done with him yet. As he straddled your legs you flipped onto your back and grabbed him by the back of his neck, ignoring his friends. Yanking him down you kissed him, kissed him until you couldn't breathe.

With a smirk you pulled away from him. You heard Draken whistle and the other kid gasp but you didn't care. Mikey stared at you for a moment before grinning.

"Miss me already?" He teased and you rolled your eyes.

"Just come back to me, Mikey." You ordered and he smirked at you.

"Always." He whispered kissing you once more before sliding away.

You rolled onto your side watching as he pulled one of his tank tops and a t-shirt over his head. He left the jacket on your desk chair, waving as he left. Draken followed urging the the new boy away. You laughed waving bye to both of them. Draken rolled his eyes but you caught the smile on his face as he closed the door.

After they left you got up, getting dressed yourself and started your day. You'd put the jacket Mikey had left behind on and sat on your couch to read. However a few hours later you jumped when a knock sounded on your door. Moving from your place on the couch you opened it and raised a brow at the male in front of you.

"Uh hello?" You offered and his eyes widened at the sight of you.

"You're prettier than I thought." He blurted and you smiled awkwardly.

'Thank you? I think." You replied and he shook his head.

"Sorry. I'm Takemitchi. I, uh, Mikey." He stumbled over his words before finally settling on the topic he'd come here about. Immediately he had your attention as you stepped out, closing the door behind you.

"Is he okay? Is everything alright?" You asked and he nodded.

"For now. I'm worried. Toman and-" you raised a hand to silence him.

"Mikey doesn't want me involved in his gang stuff." You told him and he gaped at you.

"But-" he tried again but you silenced him with a look.

"Unless it's life or death, no." You snapped and he reared back.

"It is!" He finally shouted and your eyes widened.

"Then you should have said that!" You growled before turning to the house and walking inside, throwing on a pair of shoes and grabbing your keys and phone.

Stepping back onto the porch you locked the door behind you and glanced at the blond.

"Take me to him. Now." You snapped and he jumped before nodding. He ran and you followed.

Finally he lead you to a warehouse and you quirked a brow before turning to face him.

"Are you-" and then he was running into the building, dragging you in behind him.

"Hey!" You snapped, but he didn't stop.

"Mikey!" He yelled breathing heavily as he held your wrist. Glancing at the group you gasped when you realized what he'd dragged you into.

"Oh my god." You growled under your breath as your boyfriend looked up.

"Takemitchi. What's up?" He greeted and then paused when he saw you with him. You waved slightly before looking away as the others glared you and the boy, Takemitchi, down.

"What the hell are you two doing here?" Draken asked and you opened your mouth to explain but the bigger guy spoke first.

"You got no business here." He growled and the lanky guy next to him backed him up.

"Get lost you shithead, and take your bitch with you."

Your head snapped over to them as you yanked your arm from Takemitchi's.

"You son of a-" you started but Takemitchi raced in front of you. You glared at the back of his head before letting out a sigh.

"No offence, but this is a heavy meeting." Draken spoke but the boy seemed to ignore him. You wrapped your arms around yourself, suddenly feeling like a child.

"This fight with Moebius. It can't happen." Takemitchi stated and you tilted your head. Fight?

"Huh?" Mikey asked and you moved your gaze to him.

"I can't say how, but there's something that I know. There's someone else pulling the strings here." Tekemitchi continued and you sighed.

However, your gaze hardened when the big guy grabbed the boy by his hair, throwing him.

"Hey asshole. What the fuck?" You snapped as you darted forward, in-between him and Takemitchi. You helped him up as the lanky guy started to hype the other one up.

"Who do you think you are telling us what to do? You tell him Pah!"

"One more word and I'll kill you, you piece of shit." The man, Pah, threatened.

Whipping around you started to stand up but Mikey gave you a look that told you to stand down. You frowned but turned back to examine Takemitchi's face. He pushed your hands away but you snapped at him.

"Stay down you moron. This is a fucking meeting. A gang meeting. A place completely off limits to me, so why the hell did you drag me here!?" You hissed but he ignored you pushing you back.

"You can't do that! You can't fight Moebius. It's nothing but a trap for Toman to walk into!" The idiot continued and you flinched when Pah started towards the two of you.

"Stand up." He demanded and you glared at Takemitchi.

"Don't fucking do it, kid." You hissed, but he did it anyway.

As he stood, Pah punched him in the face, hard. Over and over. You jumped up without thinking, moving to pull the guy off but let out a shout when you were grabbed from behind.

Instinct took over as you snapped your head back, hitting the person in the nose. As soon as you felt their grip loosen you yanked them forward, kneeing them in the gut. They fell forwards and you realized it was the lanky guy.

"God damn it." You groaned as you bent down to apologize.

You let out a yelp when the jerk moved to throw his fist in your face. You managed to dodge the hit but your rage increased.

"Mikey." You growled and Mikey sighed.

"Okay that's enough. Takemitchi has made his case, but the fight is still on." He reiterated.

"You don't know anything about this pal. Once I've made up my mind to fight, then Toman and Moebius are going to fight." He continued and you smirked. That was your man. Your Mikey.

Pah let Takemitchi go and you pushed yourself up, wiping you hands off on your pants. You noted the way Mikey's eyes drifted over to you, before quickly darting back to the boy, now knelt on the ground.

"I can't back down. If you guys fight Moebius then Toman is finished. I just got to be friends with you two and I don't want to lose you to this. I refuse to accept that Toman is over!" He sobbed and you moved towards him when you realized that Pah was going in for another hit. As you darted in front of him, Draken caught the males arm.

"The hell are you doing Draken?" He asked and you made eye contact with the man, nodding.

As he turned back to Mikey the two had a small spat as you turned to glare at Takemitchi.

"You idiot!" You hissed as you wiped the blood from his face off with the corner of your shirt.

You opened your mouth to ask Mikey what was going on but were cut off when a new voice entered the warehouse.

"Sorry to interrupt your little cat fight, children. Moebius this, Moebius that. Personally I prefer it if you kept our name out of your mouths." The voice snarked and you glanced up before shrinking in on yourself a little bit.

"You middle school cretins." They continued and you turned back to Mikey.

He kept his gaze forward, on the newcomer. However, the new arrival seemed to piss Pah off because he raced forward thoughtlessly. He threw a punch but it was useless as he missed and then got pummeled himself.

You let out a silent gasp,your gaze following the currently unconscious Pah. You frowned as the man continued to insult the gang Mikey worked so hard for. Then he snapped his fingers and several men filtered into the room.

You were frozen. You were never supposed to be involved. Ever. This wasn't your kind of crowd. Mikey never wanted you to get caught up in all this and now, here you were, when there was a supposed war. The timing was just perfect. Not.

Standing up you yanked Takemitchi to his feet. The soldiers the new guy brought surrounded you guys, their chatter filling the mostly empty space. You watched as the lanky guy urged Pah closer before your gaze shifted to your boyfriend.

He seemed calm but you could sense his unease. He stood slowly before making his way forward.

"Mikey..." You called but he ignored you. You frowned before gasping when Takemitchi pulled away from you, racing to the two leaders.

Biting your lip you turned around only to see how close the goons really were. Backing away you turned to Draken who waved you over. Slowly you made your way over, hiding beside him. His arm draped over you casually as he leaned down.

"Don't worry about this, y/n. You know how we are. This is our every day before we come home." He reassured trying to make light of the situation but your heart only thudded faster.

Holding onto Draken you watched anxiously as the two males sized each other up.

"Had to bring all these guys to fight some middle school kids? The great Osanai is just another piece of shit. As expected." Mikey taunted and you bit your lip, an iron taste on your tongue.

"Huh! Couldn't quite hear you tiny flea!" The one in red mocked, and you frowned as the others laughed.

"Guess he really is an old fart. No wonder he needed all these guys. Can't even hear." You muttered under you breath and flinched when Draken covered his mouth as he tried to hide his laugh.

Whipping your head up you flushed as you glanced back and forth between him and Osanai.

"Stop laughing! He'll notice!" You hissed but the man didn't seem to care as he turned to glare at Takemitchi.

"Hey? Who the hell do you think you're eyeballing you scrawny little loser?" The man prompted and you whimpered.

You didn't notice it as you stared at the man sizing Takemitchi up, but Mikey's gaze darted over to you in worry before relaxing when he saw Draken shielding you.

You screamed when Osanai punched Takemitchi, causing his face to snap to the side. You hid in Draken's side trying to ignore the sounds and images of the fight. A few feet away Mikey tensed at the sound but fought the urge to comfort you. He didn't have that luxury right now. Not after Takemitchi dragged you into it.

You listened as Takemitchi tried to talk them down, as the now awakened Pah shoved him away, and then as the lanky man tried to reassure him. You listened but none of it sounded reassuring.

However, your muscles relaxed slightly when Mikey finally spoke again, even if it wasn't to you.

"Takemitchi. Just sit back and watch. This is Pah's fight alone."

This would've been reassuring if you'd looked up to see the man winning, but Osanai was throwing punch after punch. Wincing you turned your gaze to the ground, your hands tightening around Draken's shirt. You squeezed your eyes shut once you saw the blood though.

You heard Takemitchi and the other guy freak out over one of the punches and looked up to Draken to see his reaction. His face stayed stoic but you could feel the tenseness in his limbs.

As Pah's lackey ran forward you flinched when Mikey yelled out.

"Pei! Didn't I tell you all to sit back watch?" He questioned and you shuddered. This was a side to Mikey you'd never seen.

You heard the guy, Pei, apologize and sighed. Opening your eyes you forced yourself to watch. This is Mikey's life. You loved him and this was part of him. You heard Takemitchi whine and complain but chose to ignore him. Instead you kept your eyes forward, observing.

You rolled your eyes when you heard Mikey's response, because it was such a Mikey thing to say, but also grimaced as Osanai threw another punch, finally knocking Pah out.

You frowned as the jerk began to mock Pah, insulting him. Everyone laughed but you gritted your teeth together. You had to stay quiet. You turned away when Pah began to fall over but jumped when Draken shook you. Looking up you saw him point forwards.

Turning back you gaped at the scene. Mikey has caught Pah. You let a smile cross your futures as you watched. You heard Pah mumbled something, but you couldn't hear what, you didn't understand until you heard Mikey's reply.

"What are you talking about Pah? It's okay. You didn't lose." He reassured and you smiled before flinching as the other goons hooted with laughter.

Mikey ignored them all, setting Pah down gently and you furrowed your brows in curiousity. The man stood up and Draken rubbed reassuring circles on your back as you watched Mikey make his way forward.

"Draken?" You whispered and the man nodded. Biting your lip you kept your eyes on your boyfriend.

He let Osanai ramble for about 5 seconds before his leg came up, slamming into the jerks head. You let out a gasp as the man fell without another word. Everyone in the room gasped and then a grin formed on your face. That was your man.

"Kay. Anyone that thinks Pah lost. Come on out here. I'll murder you all." He threatened and you tugged on Draken's shirt.

"He is so getting fucked tonight." You whispered and the man choked on a laugh despite the intensity in the room.

"Toman belongs to me. As long as I have it's back, none of us are ever going to lose." He reenforced and you grinned. Then he turned to you and Draken.

"My bad Kenny, I couldn't resist." He smiled and you felt yourself flush as Draken responded.

"Ugh, what am I gonna do with you, Mikey?" He teased and you giggled quietly before tensing. Yanking on Draken's shirt his gaze followed yours and he gasped.

He darted forward pushing you into Mikey as he shielded the both of you. Mikey held onto you as he turned to see what was going on. You heard Takemitchi yell but your heart was racing, pounding in your ears.

Your face was hidden in Mikey's shoulder as you flinched at the sound of cracking. Mikey tapped your shoulder and you pulled away letting out a quiet gasp. Draken was fine.

Of course he was. He was threatening everyone in the room while also insulting their leader. He was being Mikey's spokesman in a way. He explained that their gang was taking over Osanai's gang and your eyes widened as Mikey grinned his arm still wrapped around your waist.

However the moment was shortlived as the sound of sirens became noticable. Glancing up at Mikey you smiled at him as he laughed with his friends.

"Time to go?" You asked and he nodded.

"Time to scram, babe, Takemitchi!" He teased and you nodded as he grabbed your hand.

Takemitchi was asking about how they were all so casual but you just laughed.

"Live in the moment! Come on don't you feel the adrenaline!" You chuckled as you ran with Mikey.

However your laughes quickly changed to terror when you heard Draken yell. Turning around you gasped at the sight. Osanai had a knife protruding from his back amd Pah was on the ground next to him. Draken was standing in front of both of them, his hands at his side.

You heard Mikey's sharp exhale as you turned to him.

"Pah," he mumbled,"Oh man."

"Mikey?" You whimpered but his focus was on the trio.

Pei, was freaking out as he questioned his friend, but your focus was on the knife and the blood. Shakily you stepped forward but Mikey held you back. Everyone was running away as the sirens drew closer and you glanced up at Mikey, scared.

"Pah! Let's go!" He urged and you bit your lip as you watched the man.

"I'm sorry Mikey. Pei my friend you look after the 3rd squad. I'll go with the cops." Pah mumbled and you flinched when Mikey screamed at him.

"The hell you will Pah!" He shouted and you pulled on him as Draken ran towards you both.

"We need to get out of here now, Mikey!" Draken yelled shouldering the boy up onto his shoulders running. You darted after them as Mikey yelled.

"Pah! Come with us!" He begged and you fought the tears in your eyes.

"Move it Mikey or we'll all get caught!" Draken ordered and you wiped your tears as you grabbed Pei's hand.

"Pah!" Mikey wailed as you ran. Pei's hand was still in yours, squeezing so tightly it hurt, but you understood. He needed it.

As you got further everyone was running by themselves. You were behind Draken, as the adrenaline pulsed through your veins, urging you forward. However you paused when Mikey stopped. Turning you gasped at Takemitchi's form being on the ground.

You and Mikey made an effort to pull Takemitchi behind you, but ultimately you were told to leave him. You frowned trying to argue but Draken said he'd call Emma. Mikey didn't seem happy about it but grabbed your hand and kept going. Mikey dropped you off at his place before going to talk to Draken.

You had no idea what happened in that timespan but when Mikey came home he was pissed. You tried to get him to talk but he wouldn't and you decided that after the day you had you shouldn't press.

Instead you grabbed him and pulled him into you as you hugged him. You held him for a long time before he picked you up and carried you to his room. Lying you on his bed he crawled over you before snuggling into your neck and side.

"I'm sorry about today." He apologized but you shook your head, playing with his fingers.

"Don't be. I'm okay with what happened. I mean I'm not, not with Pah and everything, but with knowing what you do everyday." You replied kissing his head.

"Plus you came home to me, just like you promised." You reminded him and he let out a tight laugh.

"Glad you have your priorities in order." He teased and you nodded.

"It's always going to be you My Mikey." You teased and he sighed.

"I love you, my girl." He hummed and you grinned.

"I love you, my boy." You echoed as you moved to play with his hair.

He was home, with you, safe. And that was all that mattered in that moment.

Shit.

Fuck.

Damn.

You could use lots of words for the situation you were in those just seemed like the most appropriate. Slumping, into the metal chair you stared at the table in front of you.

How the fuck did you get in this situation? You just wanted to go home and sleep. Now you're in an interrogation cell and cuffed to the table. This is definitely not how you planned the evening.

"L/n F/n I presume." You looked up to see a tall male. All-Might.

"No it's 'why the fuck am I here?'" you glared.

"Endeavor brought you in on the suspicion that you are or were involved with the LoV. Does that sound familiar?" He asked and you huffed, tucking your face into your arms.

"LoV? Why don't you just call it Love. Seems annoying to say each letter. What does that even stand for?" You mumbled

"I was hoping you would know. Miss L/n I know this situation isn't ideal but we have reason to believe you are involved." He told you and you rolled your eyes.

"And what 'reason' is that All-Might sir?" You hissed scowling at him.

"I'm unsure of the specifics. However if you are innocent would you mind letting one of our students question you?" He prodded and you sat up in your chair.

"You're using me as a test dummy for a student? I mean go for it but I can't promise much." You mocked turning away from the pro.

"He will be in." Then All-Might was out the door and replaced with a purple haired kid.

"I'm Shinsou. They want me to ask you a few questions."

"You can call me Y/n. Ask away, Eye Bags." You shrugged leaning back, quirking a brow when his posture changed and he tried to use his quirk.

"Are you involved with the LoV?"

At first you couldn't answer, you just felt paralyzed. Huffing he let his quirk go. Glaring at him slightly you answered.

"No. I don't know why you guys seem to think I am. Really I just wanted to go home and sleep." You grumbled and he jumped slightly.

"Your quirk is what? Mind control?" You prompted leaning forward.

"Uh no, actually. Brainwashing." He corrected and you smirked.

"Nice. What were you attempting?" Your brows quirked as you eagerly waited.

"Uhm well they want me to learn how to try something new with my quirk." He explained with a shrug.

"Oh. How does it normally work?" You asked him innocently and his brows furrowed.

"I say something and the person responds. Then I can control them. They seem to think I can learn to interrogate people by focusing on one person and learning to allow them to talk. I haven't figured it out yet." He informed you and a grin spread over your face.

"So I could use it now if I wanted to?" You batted your eyelashes.

"You cou-" He stopped.

"Uncuff me please." You smiled and as he went to try and uncuff you, you stood up. However you were cut short when a man in flames, Endeavor you presumed, busted in taking the purple haired male away. With a huff you plopped back onto the chair.

"Toodles!" You waved sarcastically before slumping. You waited for someone to come in but when no one came you began to pick at the cuffs.

What would Tomura do? Probably decay the damn cuff. You sighed but decided against it for the very fact Tomura didn't like when you used his quirk. Toga's quirk wouldn't work in this situation. Dabi's might but it may burn your hand.

Tapping the table you sighed before plopping your head down scanning through all the quirks you'd memorized and how they'd work.

Your quirk? You called it copy cat. How did it work? Basically you could copy any quirk as long as you understood how it was used. Hence why you asked Shinsou how he used his. Sometimes you can figure it out on your own. Bonus! You can use all of the quirks you remember. Although, you can only use one at a time.

That being said this was not an ideal situation. Huffing you slammed your head against the table again.

"Fuck it." Leaning forward you pulled a couple of pins from your hair and melted them into the shape you needed.

Carefully you began to shuffle the pins around the lock and smirked when one of them clicked open. Moving to the other you unlocked it as well. Rubbing your wrists you stood and stretched out your sore back.

"Well! This was fun while it lasted." You grinned giddily.

Quickly you summoned Dabi's flames burning the cells door, smiling as it exploded outwards. Without any hesitation you ran out into the hallway.

"Assholes. Whatever gave them the idea I was with the LoV? I have absolutely no clue." You huffed sarcastically before sprinting towards the entrance.

"Stop! I am telling you to stop." You gasped as the heat licked at your back. Skidding you slammed into the wall.

"Get Shinsou in here!" You heard someone yell but you were not going to be locked up. Again. Grabbing the door handle you pushed the door open, rushing out.

"Stop her damn it!" Someone shouted and you screamed as heat blistered into your back, burning your shirt. Lunging out into the street you sprinted towards the hideout. You needed help. You needed him.

Then you slowed as you realized you couldn't endanger them. Screaming in frustration you changed direction. Running past an alley, you backtracked jogging back into the small street. You sighed in relief as you pulled out your phone. They hadn't confiscated it thank god.

Panting you hid beside a dumpster before scrolling through your contacts.

"Y/n?" The voice was rough but you quickly answered.

"Tomu..... I don't know what to do. Endeavor and All-Might... They brought me in and I just busted out but I-" you hiccuped as you gasped trying to control your breathing.

"Where are you?" You could hear the scuffling as he got up and began to inform the others.

"I don't know.... Some alley by the station. I couldn't lead them to you...." You whispered before covering your mouth as you heard someone close by cursing.

"She can't have gotten far. We need Hawks. He can look from above. It's quicker then by foot. Call him in!"

"Y/n I need you to stay there." You nodded before murmuring a soft 'okay'.

You quickly and quietly hung up before hugging your knees close. Soon you heard shoes slapping on pavement and looked up, hopeful, only to find the same teen from earlier.

"Found you." He snarled. You went to get up and run but he slammed his foot into your shoulder, pinning you.

"Oh that's rude. Stay awhile." He growled.

Glaring you grabbed his calf activating Dabi's quirk.

"I'd rather not!" You sneered and watched as his pant leg went up in blue flames. Jerking back in shock he pulled away, patting furiously at his burning pants. Pushing yourself up you barreled past him, back down the alley.

You knew Tomura had told you to stay but you couldn't. If you did you were as good as caught. You heard the kid, Shinsou, chasing after you yelling out that you were running.

You sprinted as fast as you could skidding onto the main road. You needed to be somewhere else, anywhere else. Sadly before you could get anywhere you were being grabbed by the hair and yanked back. You shrieked as they pulled you back toward them before blue flames rushed past you, the heat scorching the captors hand.

"I suggest you let our little doll go." Your eyes watered with relief as Dabi's voice filled the air.

"So the little wench is with you guys huh?" The hand tightened into your scalp, pulling your hair painfully.

Whimpering you tried to figure out how the man's quirk worked. If you could maybe you could use it against him. Squirming you grabbed his arm, but hissed at how hot it really was. You heard Dabi growl, and your eyes widened.

Breathing in you tried to calm your heart down. If you weren't focused you couldn't use your quirk.

Tomura.

You needed to use Tomura's quirk. He wasn't exactly fond of the idea of you using his quirk but you had to do something.

"Fuck you!" You growled before grabbing his arm. You heard him laugh before he let out a shocked cry. His arm was decaying, and you were the cause. This wasn't the quirk you'd used earlier, either.

As soon as his grip loosened you pushed yourself away from him. He swore reaching out again. Luckily before he could grab you, Dabi gripped your forearm pulling you to him.

You shivered in relief before you were thrown to the side as red and orange flames lashed out. Gasping you watched the flames whoosh! into each other.

You scampered back, the asphalt digging into your palms and scraping your shoes. As you did so you saw the pro, Endeavor, glare you down.

"Come here you rat!" He snarled and you screamed as he threw his flames in your direction, flinching and throwing your arms up defensively.

Your entire body tensed as you waited for the scorching heat to blaze your flesh and clothes to nothing. You expected the pain, as well as the smell of singed hair and burnt flesh.

What you didn't expect was for someone you grab you off the asphalt, into their arms. They clutched onto you tightly and with one breath you knew who had saved you.

Looking up you saw Tomura and you could just barely make out the frown on his face. The flames that had engulfed near-by building lit it up hauntingly. The way the shadows danced on his face was terrifyingly beautiful.

You cried out in relief as he slowly set you down, careful not to put all 5 fingers down. You'd given him a pair of gloves that covered 2 out of 3 fingers, but he never wore them in these situations.

He said it was to make sure he could use his quirk quickly and effectively. Once your feet were on the ground you leapt into his arms, your face pressing into his chest. His hand quickly held the back of your head to him as he kissed your hair.

"It's okay, my love. We're here now." He whispered before pulling back and pulling you slightly behind him.

All-Might, Hawks, Endeavor, and that one kid, Shinsou were all around you by now. You had no doubt that there were more pros on the way, too. Anxiously you glanced around quickly finding Toga who waved eagerly at you, a needle in one hand. Beside her was Twice as waved just as enthusiastically, striking a pose.

You smiled, your eyes watering. Most people wouldn't be crying in relief at the idea of a group of villains saving them. They were your family though.

Tomura told you that Kurogiri was in an alleyway nearby waiting to warp you all out. However it seemed the heroes were set on keeping you all there in the hopes of arresting you.

Frowning you scoured your surroundings before gasping. Hawks was flying right at Himiko and Twice, his feathers flying off and racing towards them dangerously. Before anyone could stop you, you had accidentally opened your own travel warp before landing in front of them.

Once it closed and was no longer in use you threw your arms up, blue flames rushing up into a fiery shield.

The feathers and the Wing hero fell back as the flames heat radiated forward, taking the heroes breath away.

"THAT'S THE THIRD QUIRK SHE'S USED!" You heard Endeavor yell irritated with you. The problem is you were feeling exhausted.

"Toga... Catch me." And with that you collapsed, sweat dripping off of your face.

Another downside to your quirk was with overuse you would pass out. The thing is you'd never used it this much in public, and you'd never passed out in front of them. As you fell back Twice immediately began to panic, as Himiko caught you.

"Twiiice. Take her! We need to get to Kurogiri. Dabi and Tomura will follow."

The man, who you'd nicknamed double trouble took you into his arms before racing to the other side.

Tomura watched as they ran, with your limp body in Twice's arms. His rage increased as he quickly threw his hand out onto a nearby building causing it to decay enough for the whole thing to collapse.

Dabi quicky followed his companions watching as your (h/c) locks swayed in the rush. Shigaraki was swift to follow but not before turning to the heroes and giving them a chilling, cold farewell.

Once they were all together Kurogiri opened a warp and everyone jumped through. Once through Tomura immediately rushed over to Twice, delicately taking you from the man's arms.

You were pale, and had burns on your neck and back, as well as more than a few scratches. He shuddered in anger as your pale face glistened in the dark of the room. You looked so ghostly.

Dabi slammed his fist into a wall at the sight of you, limp, in Shigaraki's arms. You shouldn't have gotten involved. You shouldn't be so pale or burnt or hurt. Glancing at you he saw your eyelids flutter slightly before you groaned.

"Shit...," You tilted your head up looking at the league, "what happened? Did we win?" You grimaced slightly sitting up in Tomura's arms. Tomura's face was suddenly cold as he dropped you.

"Ouch!" You hissed.

Glaring up at him you suddenly felt faint. He was looking at you like a pest. Like an ignorant child. He was so cold looking, and a chill rolled through your nerves.

"No, we retreated because of you. What were you thinKING! YOU COULD'VE DIED!" His voice kept rising as he scolded you, his eyes wide in anger.

You skittered back into the bar counter as he continued to rage. As he yelled you cowered in on yourself, your thoughts scrambling in your head. You felt nothing and everything. Tomura yelled and screamed and paced. You just sat up against the counter staring at nothing.

Toga glanced between you two before finally stepping closer to you and waving her hand in front of your eyes. Flinching you turned away.

"Y/n?" She questioned and you just sucked in a breath. If you reacted you'd break.

Tomura had stopped, so you silently got up, stumbling toward the door. Before you got even 5 feet away Dabi had grabbed you by the arm, and you yanked back.

"Let her go. She's useless here anyway." You heard Tomura wave you off before you heard him walk away.

You probably would have collapsed if you were in the right state of mind, or maybe you would have screamed and thrown him the bird.

But you weren't.

The man you trusted and loved more than anything just called you useless. He was letting you go. Instead you took out your phone stealthily, hugged Dabi, slipping the device into his coat, pushed past him. Then with tears streaming down your face you ran out into the street. It was colder than you remember but maybe that's because you were surrounded by fire earlier.

You stumbled through different alley's hoping one would lead to your apartment. There were tears and an ache in your chest. Your body was littered with bright red burns, mostly on your back and neck, as well as scratches covering your hands and face. The pain was throbbing but you kept moving. Even despite the slowly creeping darkness in your vision.

Back to the League

"Maybe we should call her?" Himiko suggested picking at one of the booths.

Kurogiri nodded but didn't say anything. He was worried but he couldn't do much without Tomura.

"I got it." Dabi grunted going to pull out his phone, only to pull out yours.

"Or not." He cursed under his breath before slamming his fist into the wall again.

"We need to find her-"

"- get the girl!" Twice exclaimed.

Dabi looked around not seeing Tomura so he told Toga and Twice to wait outside. He was going to find that crusty piece of shit.

He stormed through the bar to where he thought Tomura would be and was proven right when he found him sitting on the edge of the roof.

"Y/n gone. She left."

"I know. I told you to let her"

"We're going to look for her. She left her phone here."

"Oh."

It was a bland conversation. So careless that Dabi kicked the man in his back. This nearly caused Shigaraki to fall over the lip of the buildings top.

"Why the fuck don't you care! She is out there, alone, wanted, wounded, and scared! Why don't you care!" The scarred man finally lost it as he yanked Tomura back by the collar off his shirt.

"I do care you scarred fuck! I care more than I should. She's better off without us!" Tomura yelled back getting up.

"She deserves more than I can provide! I'm a wanted man!"

Dabi stared at Tomura in disgust.

"Yeah, well she is wanted now, too. Whatever though. We're going to go find her." And with that he was walking away.

Shigaraki stood following him grumbling under his breath. She was fine, he couldn't understand why they wanted to bring her back. Sure you were want- he paused in his steps. You were wanted and he was the cause. You were now being hunted and he threw you out.

Quickly pulling himself together he sprinted past Dabi and down to the others.

"Get ready. We're leaving. Now." He ordered pushing the door open and running out into the cold street.

Groaning you pulled your legs back and turned, scrambling to get to your feet. You heard the culprit swear before they stomped onto your back causing you to slam into the cement stomach first.

Waking up the first thing you were aware of was that you were being dragged by your feet. Then you became aware of the pain. Your back ached and your burns stung.

"Fuck." You groaned and then let out a shriek as they stepped onto your spine.

"Now now. Be quiet and maybe I won't cut your tongue out." They threatened and you whimpered.

You were to weak to use your quirk, too weak to manifest any of them. You wished Tomura were here to save you, or Dabi, or maybe even Toga, but they weren't. You'd been exiled in a way.

Tears brimmed in your eyes before you let out a sob. You were so done and emotionally drained. You didn't have the energy for this. You didn't care, yet you cared too much.

As you cried you winced when the villain rolled you over onto your back with their foot. Then as you caught your breaths they stepped onto your sternum. Coughing you pushed their legs uselessly and sniffled. Looking up at them you winced when the villain sneered at you. You screamed when they stomped down on your stomach causing all of the air to leave you in another strangled cough.

Wheezing you kicked your legs and pushed at their foot but they lifted it kicking you in the jaw. Rolling over at the impact you cupped your face and sobbed as blood dripped out of your mouth onto the pavement.

Wiping the blood away you shouted when the villain rolled you onto your back again and jumped on top of you, straddling you.

"Shut up!" They hissed as their nails elongated into tiny blades.

Your eyes widened as you tried to throw them off and hold in your sobs but it wasn't doing any good. They seemed to have enough of your thrashing because they slapped you, their nails raking across your face painfully.

Crying out you went to reach up only to realize they had your arms pinned to your sides with their knees. You could feel the blood dripping down your face and neck as you wept. You tried to breath normally but it was hard when they were sitting on your stomach.

Breathing in you felt your throat close up as you let out another sob. You were scared. You were sick of fighting. You wanted to go home. You wanted Tomura.

You flinched as they raised their hand to smack you again. Your shoulders were tense and your face stung. You were ready to accept whatever came, but you didn't expect the blue flames to shoot over you into your attacker.

As they flew off of you into another building, you stayed where you were too dazed to move. You just layed there beaten, burned, and bleeding. Closing your eyes you let out a shakey breath.

You almost screamed when a shadow passed over you and hands began to lightly dance over you not sure where to start. Wearily you opened your eyes, one slightly closed due to the blood that had dried around it. You could make out the blurry figure of Shigaraki, but you thought it was a dream.

Reaching up, you winced but lightly traced his cheek with your thumb. He reached up and you noticed the black gloves he was wearing on his hands. You smiled tiredly before succumbing to unconscious.

Tomura quietly freaked out over you as your hand slipped from his face. He called for Kurogiri, and told Dabi to deep fry the villain, but not to kill him. Tomura wanted that honor.

Kurogiri warped you back and Shigaraki took you to his room. He was so frustrated with himself. He almost let out a whimper as Toga changed you out of your 'clothes' seeing as they were more like rags now.

Burns, bruises, scrapes, and gashes covered you head to toe. The cuts on your face needed stitches. Your burns were covered with aloe, and Shigaraki cleaned the rest of your wounds.

He took it upon himself to clean you up and watch over you as you slept. Dabi came in to check on you every now and again but he seemed to understand Tomura needed time.

Tomura slept next to you holding your hand, with the gifted gloves, as he waited. You slept for two days before waking up for longer than 5 minutes.

At first you were confused, then you were scared. You jumped up only to cry out in pain. Tomura shot up just as quickly his wide red eyes staring at you before he leapt forward.

His chapped lips met yours as he kissed you desperately. Your face itched from the stitches and your body ached but in that moment you felt at peace. Safe.

Your hands cautiously reached up, holding his shirt as he slowly pulled away. You kept your eyes closed, scared that when you opened them this would all be a dream. You jumped lightly when you felt his hand cupping your face. His fingers lightly traced the stitches that had pulled your cheek back together.

"Please open your eyes. Look at me." He whispered to you as his other hand reached to grab yours.

Cautiously you did, your eyes opened, one slightly more closed then the other as you looked at him. His eyes were blood shot and he had a deep frown on his face. Carefully you reached up and cupped his face.

"Tomu..." You whispered, your voice cracking.

His eyes glinted with unshed tears and you began to cry. The male immediately jumped up carefully wrapping his arms around you.

"Never leave again. No matter what I say, stay by my side." He whispered tucking his head in the crook of your neck.

You stiffly moved your arms to wrap them lightly around his back. You were glad to be with him, to be home. You couldn't tell him everything was okay, because in all reality it wasn't. However, there was something you could tell him.

"I love you. I want to be with you. I can't promise everything with be okay, but I can promise I will be by your side as long as you'll have me." You whispered into his shoulder and you felt him nod.

"I love you so much, y/n. More than I can say. I can't promise to be better, or that I'll be your savior but I can promise that I'll love you. I do love you." He told you as his arms tightened around you.

You hissed as your shirt chafed the burns on your back, and he immediately let go. You smiled apologetically at him.

"Sorry. Still pretty sore." You told him reaching for his hand. He nodded, leaning forward to kiss your forehead.

"I'm going to be right back. You're probably starving. I'll bring you back something to eat. There's some water and Tylenol on the nightstand." He told you getting up. You nodded and he smiled lightly kissing your hand.

"I love you, baby."

"I love you, too, Tomu."

Bad vibes

Damon x reader

Walking to your next class you bit your lip when you saw Elana. You two had been close but ever since Stefan showed up she'd been acting different. That being said you chose the empty seat that was back by the door.

Sitting down you set your bag down by your feet and began to play with your hands nervously. The teacher was new, which said a lot for where you lived.

There were also a couple of newer students. One of them being the famous Stefan. He was cute, if you could look past his staring problem. Elana did just that considering how often the two would run off together.

Bonnie was there too, but she was friends with Stefan which kind of put a damper on the relationship you had with her. You just couldn't sit still when the male was nearby and it felt like he always was.

At first it was mutual classes, but then it was party's, and then the store, and even the bar. It really freaked you out. It got even worse when his brother Damon showed up. He was everywhere Elana was.

No matter what he told you or how he acted you couldn't shake your instincts which was to bolt and never look back. However, everyone else seemed at ease with him. No one questioned where he came from or how he knew what he did. It was just accepted.

It worried you. One time when you were walking to meet up with a boy in your class, Ethan, Stefan snuck up on you, and started small talk. You followed along easily enough but you couldn't bring yourself to look him in the eyes.

It went on like that for months. Stefan attempting to talk to you trying to build a friendship that wasn't there. You tried to hang out with Elana and Bonnie but left when Stefan showed up.

That's why you were excited when Bonnie and Elana invited you to a party with them, just you girls.

At first it was fun. The girls drank and you smiled along drinking water or soda. About 2 hours in Bonnie had asked you to get refills and you warily complied. Three bottles of booze for each girl and a water later you were holding back Elana's hair while Bonnie curled up in your lap.

They smelled terrible and the puke was even worse but they were your friends so you couldn't just leave them. You'd texted Stefan from Elana's phone but he hadn't replied.

Then just as you were losing hope Damon came through the drunk teenagers and smiled when he saw you.

"Damon!" You smiled earnestly as he made his way over.

"Hey, munchkin watcha got here?" He teased and you sighed.

"A bunch of drunk girls. Help me out?" You asked and shook his head before hoisting Bonnie up over his shoulder.

Sighing with relief you pulled Elana's hair up with a hair tie and stood up to stretch your legs.

"Thank you." You murmured as you moved to shake Caroline awake.

"Come on, Forbes. Get up. I have to drive you home without getting in trouble because you're drunk off your ass." You demanded and jumped when you heard Damon laughing behind you.

Whipping around to face him you blushed. You heard Caroline groan behind you and rolled your eyes, shoving your half-drunken water bottle in her face.

"Drink this. You'll have a killer hangover in the morning." You warned and she mumbled incoherently.

Damon chuckled again, a smile causing his cheeks to dimple. You bit your lip anxiously before finally asking what was so funny.

"You." He chortled and you sighed.

"What's so funny about me, Salvatore?" You challenged and he shook his head.

"That attitude for one. You're too quiet to have such a mouth on you." He confessed and you opened your mouth to retort but he cut you off.

"For two you're sassing the daughter of the sheriff who believes she's the queen of everything." He added and your nose scrunched up.

"Okay I do those things, but I don't see what's funny about them." You huffed as you turned to pull Caroline up who was still murmuring and on the verge of throwing up again.

"Caroline, please for the love of God, don't puke on me." You groaned and she whined at you.

Rolling your eyes you grabbed her arm and yanked her up hard. She yelped but at the moment you didn't care. She smacked at you weakly but you just slapped her hands away.

"Forbes do not make me back hand you." You threatened and she gasped at you.

"You wouldn't dare!" She said sounding aghast.

You quirked a brow before pushing her off towards Elana.

"I'll drive Caroline home if you can get Elana and Bonnie back." You offered and he winced.

"What is it?" You asked and he shifted his grip on Bonnie.

"You know Stefan?" He asked and you nodded as you picked up the empty beer bottles and solo cups.

"Well he doesn't trust me with Elana." He shrugged and you crinkled your nose.

"You're kidding right?" You asked as you stood up and he shook his head.

"Nope." He replied popping the 'p'.

Rolling your eyes again you walked over to Elana dropping the bottles next to you. Grabbing her by the chin you forced her face up so you could speak to her.

"Hey, Gilbert. Do you care if Damon drives you home or are you such an obedient little house wife that you have to hang onto Stefan's every word and do whatever your told?" You asked annoyed as she shook her head no.

"Stefan said-" she started to say but you'd heard enough.

"I don't give a rats ass what Stefan said. You know why? Because Stefan isn't here. You know who is? Damon. So either you grow a pair and get a ride home with Damon or you stay here and wait for your prince charming. Up to you." You shrugged before pulling your hand away aggressively.

She murmured incoherently but you didn't have the patience to listen. Walking over to Caroline you pulled her away from the tree she was leaning on. Walking into the partiers you shoved the drunk teens away from you. Some stumbled away and others fell flat on their asses. You could hear Damon cackling behind you as you made your way to the cars.

Finding yours you fished out your keys and opened the door dumping Caroline in the passenger seat. She whined but you ignored her shoving her legs into the car. Then you made your way around the vehicle, to your trunk. Pulling it open you grabbed two trash bags, a water, and a 5 gallon bucket. Opening one of the bags you put it in the bucket before walking to the front of the car and handing it to Caroline along with the water.

"If you need to puke, do it in there not in my car. Drink some water, too." You ordered and she nodded tucking the bucket between her knees and holding the water in her lap.

Going back to the trunk you grabbed the bag and slammed the trunk shut.

"Damon you can either put Bonnie in the back or take her to your car. I don't really care. I'm gonna go get Stefan's little princess." You muttered before making your way back to the drunk Elana.

She hadn't moved since you left her so you opened the second bag and began to throw the trash into it. No point in littering if you could help it.

Then you grabbed her phone and clicked on Stefan's contact hitting the call button. It rang 4 times before he picked up.

"Elana?" He asked and you fought the urge to cuss him out.

"Not Elana." You grumbled, annoyed.

"Y/n. Why do you have Elana's phone?" He asked and you rolled your eyes.

"Well Stefan if you checked your texts you would know exactly why. However since you're so incompetent let me summarize. Your little princess is drunk off her ass and refuses to let Damon drive her home because you said so. So either you come get her or I manhandle her little ass and-" you started to threaten but the phone was taken from you.

"Heyyy brother. Sorry about that, y/n may have had a little more to drink than I thought." Damon chuckled and you glared at him.

"Damon you and I both know-" you argued but he shushed you with a finger.

"Yes Stefan. Yes I have it covered with the other 3. Yes, you can come get her. She's- y'know what yeah. Yeah." Damon spoke and you glared.

Finally he hung up and handed you the phone. Taking it you shoved it into Elana's chest as you whirled on the man.

"What was that!? I had it covered!" You snapped and he quirked a brow.

"Sweetheart you were trying to get yourself killed." He smirked and you frowned.

"He's a dick." You defended and he laughed.

"I won't argue with that, but you have to pick and choose your battles." He smiled and you folded your arms in front of your chest.

"Are you saying you would have let him kill me?" You grinned and his eyes widened.

"I-" he started but you shook your head.

"I'm teasing Salvatore." You smiled before moving to Elana.

"Hey, drunk baby. Your boy toy is coming to get you." You told Elana as you handed her a water bottle.

She lifted her head slightly before pushing the bottle away.

"Elana." You snapped and she glared at you.

"You're a bitch." She whined and you reared back.

"Excuse me?" You laughed and she shook her head.

"Stefan said that you're a stubborn bitch. He doesn't want me hanging out with you anymore." She mumbled and your gaze hardened.

"Is that right?" You muttered before you heard Stefan behind you.

"Elana!" Whirling around you saw him leaning against a tree staring at you.

"Oh look! Elana look who finally showed up! It's your prince!" You mocked and the male quirked a brow at you.

"What's your problem?" He barked as he moved towards you.

"You! You're my problem! Who do you think you are? Huh?" You snapped as you moved to get in his face.

"Excuse me?" He demanded and you smirked.

"Clearly you heard me. You're my problem! Can't have Elana doing anything you don't like because you're so insecure!" You taunted and his eyes darkened.

"Y/n..." You heard Damon warn but ignored him.

"You won't let Damon near her because you're worried she'll see just how pathetic you are! That scares you doesn't it?" You snarled and the male raced forward grabbing you by the neck.

"Shut. Up." He ordered and you grinned.

"That's right Stefan. Show her just how much of a monster you are." You spat. At first his hand tightened around your throat but then he threw you away, into Damon.

Coughing you smiled.

"That's what I thought." You boasted as the male turned his back to you.

As he turned back around you felt Damon's grip on your waist tighten.

"Damon, control your bitch or I'll kill her." He warned and you glared.

"Do it. Elana will never forgive you." You seethed and the males eyes sparked with renewed anger.

He charged at you but Damon was quick to guard you.

"Walk away Stefan. Take Elana and leave." He coaxed and you held the back of his jacket as your heart pounded.

"Fine." Stefan snapped as he scooped Elana up and disappeared into the party goers.

When he was gone Damon turned to face you. He pulled out his phone and shown the flashlight on you neck and you saw him wince.

"It's not that bad is it?" You asked and his eyes met yours.

"Could be worse. It's just-" he started but stopped.

"Just what Salvatore? Don't pussy out on me now." You teased pushing his chest lightly.

"You're crazy." He shrugged and you smirked.

"I thought you liked crazy?" You offered and he smiled.

"I like crazy, but you are a whole other kind." He taunted and you leaned back in mock offense.

"Well Salvatore you have to admit I put on a good show." You bragged and shook his head.

"Y/n you will be the death of me." He told you and you raised a brow.

"Why is that?" You asked taking the bait.

"Because I wanted to tear Stefan apart for touching you. I want to tear him apart." He ground out and your eyes widened.

"Why Damon! Did you just threaten to kill someone for me?" You teased and he laughed.

"God you're amazing." He chuckled before pulling you into his chest.

"Thanks. I got it from the trauma." You joked and you felt him shake his head.

"As amazing as I am though we still have to get Bonnie and Caroline home." You sighed your arms tightening around him.

He laughed at you before picking you up bridal style.

"I'm not letting you out of my sight. Who knows how many people you could piss off when you open your mouth." He grinned and you smacked him lightly.

"I'm not that bad!" You defended and he smirked.

"No of course not. You're worse." You groaned before looking up at him.

"Hey Damon. You know what would really piss Stefan and Elana off?" You prompted with a grin.

He looked down to you before shrugging.

"Okay I'll bite. What?" He asked as he set you down in the parking area.

"This." You whispered before grabbing the back of his neck, pulling his lips into yours.

You felt him smirk against your mouth as his arms wound around your waist. You smiled as your fingers curled into his hair.

Finally when you pulled away you kept your eyes closed.

"Yep. That." You sighed and you heard Damon laugh. Opening your eyes you looked at him in question.

"Sorry, sorry. I just didn't know you were so bold." He laughed and you frowned.

"Fine I guess I won't kiss you anymore then." You pouted and he quirked a brow.

"Then I'll just have to kiss you, dear." He reckoned before grabbing you by your waist and kissing you again. And again. And again.

Warm with You

Laito x reader

You swore as Yui tripped over her own feet and tumbled forward, nearly taking a spill down the stairs. Your hand shot out quickly as you grabbed her by the arm, balancing her.

"Be more careful, Yui." You scolded letting her go and going down the stairs yourself. The boys, all six of them, were already at the bottom waiting on the two of you.

"About time. We will be leaving shortly." Reiji informed you both pushing his glasses up. Then he stalked down the hall, and you could hear a door slam.

You rolled your eyes at the male before making eye contact with Laito. The red head smirked smugly as he looked you up and down.

Your relationship with the vampire had proved to be an interesting one. No strings attached flirting. It was fun but lately you'd been feeling your stomach flip and your heart thump out of your chest when you were around him.

So much for no strings attached. Still though you'd rather flirt with him knowing he didn't feel the same way then deal with the idea of not having him at all.

That being said you grabbed Yui's hand and led her out front where the limousine was waiting. Pulling open the door you helped her inside before crawling in yourself. You sat next to her brushing your skirt down.

"We have a test today. You studied right?" You asked her to start some conversation.

She nodded lightly and you sighed. You'd come to the Sakamaki Manor a week or so after Yui. Your mother sent you with the hopes of granting herself a favor from the Vampire King. She herself had several past lovers, most supernatural. It was a miracle you hadn't shown many signs of being supernatural. At least not that you were aware of.

That being said you were now Yui's only friend and helped her with as much as you could. This included sassing the boys, studying, and just girl things in general. Human things.

Opening your mouth to try a different approach, you winced when the doors opened again. Yui jumped lightly next to you as the boys slid in.

Ayato quickly found his place next to Yui wrapping his arm over her shoulder. You rolled your eyes before slumping back into your seat, legs crossed due to Reiji's insistence. Closing your eyes you leaned your head back. Ignoring the chatter you focused on the sound of the cars hum.

Zoning out you jumped when you felt a hand on your thigh. Tensing you shot up and you looked over but relaxed when you realized it was just Yui.

"Are you alright?" She asked and you smiled.

"Fine." You replied patting her hand.

She nodded unsure before turning to face Ayato again. You sighed glancing across the limousine, meeting Laito's eyes once again.

A smiled tugged at your lips as you flushed, before glancing back down. You weren't supposed to be so easily flustered but it had been happening a lot lately.

Distractedly you began to play with your fingers. Turning to ask Yui something you paused when Reiji began to lecture Ayato for something he'd said. Something about him being disgraceful and it being too early for such things. Ayato began to whine that it was just getting good, and Laito agreed.

You rolled your eyes at the brothers when Laito told Reiji he should have joined in, because seeing Yui writhing in agony was just such a turn on. The temptation to throw your shoe at his head was increasing with every word.

Subaru seemed to be just as willing to choose violence as you were because if looks could kill, they'd be dead. Shu however just wanted everyone to shut up, as if he couldn't just turn his music up.

The boys continued to bicker back and forth while Yui was caught like a doe in the headlights. You reached over to grab her hand reassuringly, but your lips quickly curled up into a snarl as Ayato once again reached his arm over her shoulder. He was complaining about being parched and you were fighting the urge to shove cotton balls down his throat.

Then the arguing began again. Groaning you threw your head back, nearly launching across the seat at Kanato when he turned to face Yui, blaming her. Reiji glared you down, warning you. He knew that if he didn't keep you on a tight leash you'd probably tear all of them apart. With a growl you closed your eyes and counted to 10. Then you turned to face Yui.

She seemed lost as she looked up as if she wasn't completely sure what she was being blamed for. Before you could reassure her Reiji raised his head up as if suddenly sensing something.

As you opened your mouth to ask him, the vehicle began to swerve. Instinctively you balance yourself and held an arm in from of Yui. Glancing across the limousine in fear you met Laito's eyes. Then you were in the air and Yui was screaming. You closed your eyes bracing for impact.

When nothing happened you opened your eyes. Flames danced in front of you surrounding the now destroyed limo. Peering up you realized Laito had you pressed up against his chest, his arms wound around your waist tightly.

"You okay?" He asked and you nodded.

Turning you saw Ayato put Yui down and sighed in relief. She was okay. Taking a deep breath to stabilize yourself you pressed your face into Laito's chest.

He kissed your forehead slyly as you shivered in his hold. Of course you were still shaken up. Yui glanced at the wreck before asking if it was an accident. None of the boys seemed convinced. In fact it was impossible from what Reiji had said.

Before you could ask what the others thought, Laito looked up and suggested that "Maybe it was them."

Following his gaze you saw four males standing on the cliff above you. You could barely make out their shapes and you wouldn't have noticed them if not for Laito.

Ayato immediately charged forward demanding to know who they were. Of course they didn't answer but Yui seemed to know something as she gasped, stepping back. Soon after though a billow of smoke blew through and they disappeared.

"Who were they?" Yui murmured and you nodded as you wondered the same thing.

The boys seemed to draw their own conclusions, not really giving you a proper answer but you knew one thing for sure. Those jerks just committed attempted murder.

Later on throughout the day you went to Yui's room to check on her, but were surprised to find that she wasn't there. You scoured the manor in minutes, before moving your search outside in the hopes of finding her. You rushed down the steps and into the garden. She had to be somewhere.

"Yui!" You groaned.

"Come on! It's dark out!"

It was silent as you waited for a reply. When none came you continued down the path, jumping when Yui ran straight into you.

"Y/n!" She yelped and you nodded.

"What's wrong?" You inquired looking her over but she just shook her head.

"The manor! We have to get back!" She insisted grabbing your hand.

You followed her unsure of what she was freaking out over until you reached the stairs. Yui had slowed to a stop, gasping when a male walked out of the fog. You sneered at him squeezing her hand.

"Who in the hell are you?" You growled but he ignored you.

"Eve." Was all he said before reaching towards Yui.

Snarling you smacked his hand away.

"Don't lay a hand on her!" You snapped. Where was your pervert when you needed him?

He raised his brows at you in interest before turning to face the space behind you.

"Yuma. Take care of our guard human." He commanded and you turned to face the mist.

Behind you was a tall male, about 6'2, with long chestnut hair. Glaring him down you took a deep breath.

You could yell for help, scream bloody murder, and hope that Laito and Ayato came to rescue you both. However if these boys were vampires they might just grab you and teleport.

This was definitely a situation. Your lips curled up in one corner in agitation as you bit back a sneer. When the boy reached for you you backed away holding Yui close.

"Touch me and my boyfriend will rip your arms off." You threatened not completely sure if he would buy it.

The male rolled his eyes before bending forward and throwing you over his shoulder anyways. Apparently not. Deciding it was now or never you screamed. Loudly.

You saw a blonde male, who you hadn't noticed before, wince causing you to smirk. Laito had to have heard you. You would have been much more cocky about your rescue if Yuma hadn't flipped you back down and straight onto the pavement.

Your head hit the ground with a loud crack and your vision filled with black dots. Ringing pulses through your ears muffling everything. You could barely make out Yui's words as she fretted over you. You could however see the four silhouettes arguing over you as your eyes blurred. You tried to talk but you couldn't form the words.

Yui pushed your hair back and you could hear her telling you to listen to her but you just wanted her to shut up.

Suddenly the boys went silent and you groaned as Yui was yanked back, away from you. Rolling onto your side you pushed yourself up glaring at them. Your vision was blurry and your head pounded.

"Let her go you crazy bastard." You finally growled, your blood racing through your ears, making them ring.

"We need to leave." You heard the blond mumble and the leader nodded.

"Kill her." He sighed waving at you dismissively.

Your eyes widened as you pulled yourself up. Hell no. You were not going to die like this. You could feel the blood at the back of your head, but you could also feel the wound closing like they always did. A supernatural perk.

Before you could get fully to your feet you felt someone kick you in the back causing you to sprawl forward. Growling you rolled onto your back and kicked. Your feet hit the tall male, Yuma, in the groin and you smirked. Then you shouted for help again.

Annoyed the lead male kicked you in the chest so hard you flew across the pavement, and you heard at least three of your ribs break. Breathing heavily you glared at them from where you now heaved on the ground.

Looking up you noted that they'd disappeared. Moments later Laito and Ayato came running out of the manor and toward where you had been. Glancing around wildly Laito looked for you. When your eyes met you swear you saw worry in his eyes once he saw you.

He immediately raced over, scooping you into his arms causing you to groan at the pain. Your chest hurt, and your head was pounding loudly. You saw Ayato eyeing you warily as he glanced around the garden looking for Yui.

"They took her." You murmured before you lost consciousness.

When you woke up again you were in your own room and by yourself. Carefully you sat up and poked at your ribcage. Healed. Then you felt the back of your head. Despite the dried blood it too was healed.

Swinging your legs over the bedside you walked over to your mirror and grimaced at the view. Your hair was disgusting, sticking out in odd directions and caked in old blood. Your clothes were covered in your blood as well.

Disgusted, you began to tear at the bloody clothes, attempting to remove them. Your hands shook as you tried to remove the bloody shirt. When you couldn't get the buttons undone you began to feel claustrophobic in the clothing. In tears, your hands pulled uselessly at the cloth. In your panic you jumped when a pair of hands wrapped around your waist taking ahold of your shaking ones. Turning in their arms you came face to face with Laito's chest.

"I- I can't get it- it off." You stuttered as the tears spilled over. He nodded before literally tearing the clothing off of you. Then he pulled your pants down getting them off of you as well. Standing there you leaned into his chest as you cried. He held you, reaching over the bed and wrapping a blanket over your shoulders so you were covered.

Gently he led you to the on suite bathroom where he started a warm bath. Once the water was running he walked over you, brushing your hair back. You face was red and splotchy from crying but he simply leaned forward kissing above your brow, then your cheek, then your nose, before he finally kissed your lips.

"You're okay." He whispered more to himself than to you and you nodded.

Once the water was high enough he helped you in and then turned to leave, but you grabbed his hand.

"Please don't go." You whispered hiding in the bubbles in the water.

He faced you before stripping down and sliding in behind you. Leaning into his chest you closed your eyes. You felt his hands wrap around you waist holding you. Then he leaned down, kissing your neck.

"You're mine." He whispered and you nodded.

"Always." You agreed playing with his fingers underneath the water.

"How are you feeling?" He asked a few minutes later and you paused.

"Everything seems to have healed, but my head still hurts." You replied and he nodded before pulling his hands away.

You went to complain but stopped when you saw him reach over and grab your shampoo.

"May I?" He asked with a smirk and you rolled your eyes before nodding.

Closing your eyes you jumped when you felt his fingers massaging the shampoo into your hair and scalp. He continued this for a little while before reaching over and closing the curtain.

Then he unplugged the tub and helped you up. After you were up he turned on the shower and helped you rinse out the blood and shampoo. You hummed in appreciation as the water trailed down your hair and body. You heard the male chuckle before he moved you out of the water and began the brush the conditioner through your hair.

You whined at the lack of hot water but were grateful for the hair care he was providing. Turning to face him you pressed your hands on his chest before moving to kiss him. He responded quickly and you smiled into the kiss.

"Thank you." You mumbled and he nodded before flipping your positions so you were under the spray of the water.

You sputtered under the water but closed your eyes to avoid getting the soap in them. Once you were sure it was rinsed out you opened your eyes to glare at him.

"Asshole!" You groaned and he just smiled shrugging. Then he hopped out. Huffing you turned to shut the water off, but shrieked when you saw a bat in the corner of the shower.

Laito immediately swung the curtain open and you leapt into his arms still drenched, pointing at the corner. The bat hissed before moving to fly out of the window.

Laito held you, one arm wrapped around your waist and the other held your head to his chest. Your arms were wrapped around him as you tried to calm down.

"Sorry, it scared me." You breathed and he nodded before moving to grab you a towel. Wrapping it around you he kissed your forehead.

"I'm going to grab you some clean clothes. I'll be back." He promised and you nodded before moving to sit on the toilet seat.

Moments later he came back with a pair of shorts, some sweats and one of his shirts. Handing you the shorts and shirt he tossed you a pair of underwear.

"Thanks." You sighed pulling them on underneath the towel.

He nodded before turning around and dropping his own towel. You smirked as you stared at his butt. However you flushed when he turned around, asking if you saw anything you liked. Rolling your eyes you threw your towel at him. Then you turned and slid into his button-up that he brought you.

You yelped when his hands slid around your waist moments later, but slowly relaxed back into him. Closing your eyes you focused on your breathing and his. Holding his hands you smiled before turning in his hold.

"Do you think your brothers would mind if I kept you for the day?" You asked wrapping your arms around his neck.

"Not at all." He replied leaning down to kiss you. You responded eagerly, your fingers gripping into his hair.

You squeaked when his fangs 'accidentally' cut your lip open but decided to leave it be. You were in his arms and that was all that mattered in that moment. Still kissing you his hands trailed down your legs before hoisting you up by the thighs. Letting out a tiny shriek you smacked him on the shoulder before laughing and kissing him again.

He carried you into your bedroom, flipping you down onto your bed. Normally this would've been fine but this time you panicked. You grabbed onto him with a scream and he flopped down barely catching himself above you. Breathing heavily you closed your eyes as you tried to ignore your fear. Ignore the memory of earlier. You sighed when his hands moved to cup your face before opening your eyes again.

"Sorry." You offered but he shook his head.

"You're fine, love. Let's just lay down for a bit, hmm? Maybe have a little fun?" He winked and you snorted before smacking him.

You had your pervert back. However in the back of your mind you still worried for Yui. Was Ayato mad? Did he blame you? Could you have-?

Your thoughts were shattered when Laito began to kiss your neck. Reaching up you held him by his hair and the back of his head.

Tonight it was you and him and that was all you could ask for or focus on.

Damon x reader

High stakes

(pun intended)

You woke up to an empty bed as you reached over. You groaned before rolling over and checking the time. Realizing you had less than an hour before Damon would be by to pick you up you rolled out of the bed.

You shimmied back into your jeans and then grabbed one of Damon's T-shirts, pulling it over your head. Raking your fingers through your hair you searched for your shoes. You grumbled under your breath before grabbing your phone and making your way down stairs.

Walking into the living room you searched for your shoes there. They had to be somewhere considering you stayed the night with Damon. With a huff you looked up and screamed. A man was standing in the far side of the living room, snooping through the home.

As he turned to look at you, you yelped throwing one of the nearby lamps at him. You didn't know who he was, how he got in, and quite frankly you didn't care.

"Get out! You're uninvited or whatever!" You yelled at him while throwing a throw pillow at him too, and rounding the couch.

He caught it easily enough and stared at you with annoyance. Before you could react he sped toward you, shoving the couch to the side, and grabbing you by the neck.

Gagging you scratched at his arm and swung your legs wildly as he raised you off the ground. Your legs managed to nail the vampire between his where the sun doesn't shine. This caused him to promptly fall to the floor, releasing you. Pushing yourself up and scrambling away from him you glared him down as you reached for the table next to you.

"So stupid." You mumbled dragging a chair over and getting a good grip on it.

When the vampire douche started towards you, you lifted the chair swinging it into his chest. Your eyes widened when the chair shattered against him. Keeping ahold of one of the legs you watched the other pieces fall to the floor around you.

"Look no hard feelings okay? I'd just hate to have you kill me when I have a date later, you understand?" You smiled and he snarled at you, running towards you. Vampires.

Rolling your eyes you lifted the chair leg in front of you and grimaced when you felt him ram it straight through his own ribcage. Your nose scrunched in disgust as you let go.

Backing away you watched as he stumbled backwards. He reached down and wrapped his hand around the chair leg before glaring back up to you. You shrugged uselessly as he growled.

Your eyes widened as you watched him pull the stake out of his chest. You screamed when you realized what he intended. You moved to run but it was too late. You doubled over into his arms and gasped uselessly against his chest. The vampire pushed you off of him and you fell to your knees onto the floor. He backed away from you, collapsing due to his own injuries.

"Fuck." You swore reaching down and hissing at the jostling of your impalement. Glancing back to the asshole who shanked you, you saw the vampire smirk at you before dying on the floor.

"Asshole. Couldn't have at least died on the hardwood? Now I'll have to- nevermind. I'm bleeding all over the carpet anyway." You murmured and then began to cry.

Taking a shaky breath you reached across the floor, your fingers slick with blood. Tears ran down your face as you grabbed your phone, quickly clicking on Damon's contact.

As it rang you tried to stabilize your breathing. Yeah, being impaled was bad, but you did have a vampire boyfriend who could zip you over to the hospital or something. As you waited for Damon to answer you pulled the phone away from your ear and put it on speaker, ignoring the blood on the screen.

"Hey, princess. Couldn't wait til tonight?" Damon mocked and you moaned in annoyance and pain.

"Woah, what's up with you?" He asked and you heard a car door slam.

"Damon. I need help." You broke down as you tried to push yourself up to your feet.

"Y/n? What happened?" Damon's voice came through but it was muffled by the ringing in your ears.

"Damon. I can't-" You couldn't breath, and you couldn't see clearly. The pain, was quite literally, blinding.

One hand was keeping you upright as it was braced against the floor. The other was at your waist as you held the protruding object in place. Your instincts were screaming at you to rip it out, but you knew that if you did you would probably bleed out.

Staring at the floor you hoped Damon would be there soon. Your head pounded as you tried to stay awake, stay conscious. Your stomach flipped as your blood dripped onto the floor so you opted to close your eyes instead. Mind over matter.

Waiting made you anxious but you knew that Damon would come for you. Of course he would. It felt like an eternity but when you heard the manor door slam open you smiled warily.

"Y/n! Baby! Where are-" Damon's voice cut off as he sped to your side, his hands fluttering around you.

"I didn't- he came out of nowhere." You whimpered and then gasped as his hand bumped the stake.

"Get- get it out." You half sobbed half screamed. Damon grimaced as he wrapped his hand around the wooden leg.

Leaning into you he held your head to his shoulder as he kissed your hair. Then he pulled the piece of wood out. You screamed so loudly that it made your throat hurt. Finally when you stopped you looked over to Damon.

"-mon. I'm dizzy." You whispered and Damon shook his head.

"No baby. You're okay sweetheart." He told you biting into his own wrist.

You shook your head in denial and then gagged as he put his wrist to your mouth, the blood running down your throat. Once Damon was sure you ingested enough he hoisted you up, rushing you to the hospital.

"Please someone help me. I don't know what happened. I think she fell while putting up some decorations or something!" Damon called and nurses and doctors immediately flocked over to you.

Reluctantly Damon let you go, handing you over to them. He watched as they wheeled you away, his hands shaking uncharacteristically. The same hands that were still covered in your blood. That terrified him. When one of the nurses came back, she insisted on helping him get cleaned up.

Once that was done she led him to a waiting area and told him she'd let him know when you were out of surgery. He nodded and sat down heavily in one of the chairs. He soon came to realize he hated hospitals.

After what felt like an eternity the nurse came out and told him you were in the clear, and asked him if he wanted to see you. He jumped up immediately, grabbing his jacket and demanding your room number. The nurse shook her head but told him what room and floor.

Racing to the room, Damon busted in and found you sipping on something in a styrofoam cup, probably water. Turning to the noise your face instantly relaxed when you saw Damon.

"Babe..." You sighed, relieved and he was by your side in seconds.

"Are you okay? What did they say? I was so-" he rambled for a second as he held your face.

Your lips slowly curled into a smiled as you turned to set the cup down. Then you turned back to him, reaching up. You pulled him down for a kiss, and he complied. You breathed out a sigh.

"I'm okay." You whispered finally and he nodded, his forehead against yours.

"Never do that to me again. I was ready to tear the world apart." Damon grumbled as he moved to sit down on your hospital bed.

You nodded flopping back into your pillow and then groaning as your abdomen throbbed.

"Never again. Getting stabbed is not fun." You agreed reaching down for his hand.

He rolled his eyes at you but his smirk told you everything. His fingers wound their way through yours easily as he leaned forward to kiss your forehead.

"Next time you decide to take on a vampire, don't." He laughed and you nodded.

"Okay, but you have to admit, I was pretty bad ass." You teased and he shook his head.

"Oh yeah. Totally. You know sobbing over the phone and all." He mocked and you gaped at him jokingly.

"Why Damon! I had a stake going through my stomach! Forgive my sobbing." You huffed pushing his shoulder, before wincing at the movement.

"Asshole. You're gonna make me pull my stitches." You whined and he shook his head.

"Unlikely. You'll probably be healed by tomorrow." He shrugged and you raised a brow.

"What?" You questioned and he smirked at you.

"You don't remember?" He asked his brow quirking in amusement and you shook your head.

He snickered for a moment before grabbing both of your hands, kissing your knuckles.

"Forget it, princess. Let's just get you home, with me." He winked before getting up to work on your discharge papers.

You smiled as you leaned back into your pillow. Closing your eyes you let out an easy breath, content. Then your eyes jerked open.

"That asshole ruined date night!"

Runaway assassin

Obi x reader

You'd been alone for a while, and by a while I mean years. You'd quit your old job, or rather you ran away from it. Now you were taking random jobs that were simple and spread out so you could travel. Get to see the world.

Thing was you were always moving because well your ex-boss was a total prick. You'd worked for him as an assassin of sorts. You enforced things, hurt people, did anything that he told you to.

It's not that you enjoyed hurting others, but it kept you alive. You used to have a partner, but he had disappeared, leaving you, after going on a job with your sister, Torou.

When she came back you rushed to her looking for him, but she just smiled sadly and told you he was gone. You'd missed him, but accepted that he made his choice.

Currently however you followed his example and were free to do what you wanted, when you wanted. You'd left the man, that life, behind.

With that in mind you had decided to visit Clarines. Beautiful place really. Many opportunities. Running around and rushing through the streets you darted over a wagon leaping down.

As you landed you sprinted away apologizing to the driver. As you dashed through another alley you yelped when you bumped into someone, hard.

As you both began to fall, you grabbed their arm and used your weight to counteract theirs, pulling yourself forward and spinning around. You smiled at your success, having stopped a tragic fall for both of you.

"Hey, sorry about that I was just really excited!" You apologized glancing up, "I'm y/n!"

The person you had almost had a spill with was a girl about your age. She smiled softly, her bright green eyes glittering, and apple red hair shining. You elected not to point out the obvious though.

"It's alright. I'm Shirayuki. You must be new here! I'd show you around but I have to get to the castle." She frowned seeming to be a little sad at that thought.

"Well then here's a proposal. I'll go with you to the castle and help you out. Then we can talk and you can do what you need to. I'll be like your own personal attendant, yea?" You grinned pointing to yourself.

"I mean... We could try it! Sure let's go." She smiled taking your hand and leading the way to the castle.

On the walk she'd told you all about her friends and her love interest Zen, the second Prince of Clarines. You'd also been informed of her role in the castle. A herbalist. You got excited and told her that you were actually quite experienced with the plants and their properties given your old establishment.

After a while you were in front of a set of gates, two guards stood at their post.

"Shirayuki! Good to see you. Who's your friend?" One of the guards inquired staring behind her, to you. Taking charge you stepped forward, crouching into a curtsey.

"I'm y/n! Her attendant. I'm here to help her out." You smiled sweetly, causing the other guard to blush.

"I see. Well the prince is inside awaiting your arrival. Good day Shirayuki, y/n." The guard smiled as he opened the large gate.

As you walked in you gasped. This place was huge! White pillars filled the courtyard and several plants and trees grew along the white stone that seemed to be a path.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Shirayuki giggled nudging you.

"Absolutely." You breathed out, eyes wide as you took in your surroundings before turning to look at her.

She grinned at you before waving you forward, encouraging you to follow her. Following closely you listened as Shirayuki told you about how she'd met the prince and his attendents, along with his most recent addition. Obi.

You had heard the name and paused momentarily. She seemed to notice the slight shift in your behavior because she turned to face you.

"Are you alright?" She asked tilting her head, her brows creasing in worry.

Your mind raced as you mulled over the idea that it could be your Obi. It couldn't be him though, could it? Shaking your head you slapped your cheeks. It had to be someone else.

"Of course! I'm sorry I just recognized the name is all. I'm totally fine!" You smiled grabbing her hand.

"We should hurry! Don't wanna keep the prince waiting do we?" You winked and she flushed.

"Right!"

With that you both hurried off. Walking into the prince's quarters was nerve wracking. Not because you were scared or nervous because of him or anything, rather the idea that his attendant could be your Obi.

Shirayuki knocked on the door and a muffled come in was called out. Pushing the door open she led you inside and began with the introductions.

"Zen, Mistuhide, Kiki, Obi, this is y/n. Y/n this is Zen, Mistuhide, Kiki, and Obi." You glanced at each of them, but froze once you reached the tall brunette.

Obi. It was actually your Obi. Once his cat like eyes reached yours he too froze.

"Y/n? Are you alright?" Zen asked standing up, once he realized you seemed to be zoning out. Your eyes snapped over to him anxiously.

"Of course! I'm sorry, how rude of me. I'm Y/n Woods, Shira's new attendent." You bowed giving the fake last name naturally.

Obi's eyes widened slightly. You felt his gaze train on you as the other two began their own greeting. You smiled at them and told them a little about yourself.

Once the introductions were finished Shirayuki dragged you off to work. Garak didn't seem to mind your company nor did Ryuu. You seemed to fit right in. Luckily for you there didn't seem to be much work today so maybe you could explore.

Near sundown Shira asked you to drop one last concoction she brewed up off to Garak's office. Smiling you grabbed the liquid up and told her you'd be back in a jiffy.

As soon as you were gone Shirayuki sighed. Turning around she found Obi right behind her crouched in the window.

"Obi!" She yelped her hand flying up to her chest.

"What are you doing here? Were you looking for y/n?" She inquired steadying her breathing.

"How'd y'know?" He chuckled rubbing the back of his neck.

She just smiled softly.

"I don't know. Maybe it's the way you've been creeping around all day?" She smirked knowing she had him in a corner.

"You see funny story. I was just conveniently around. Definitely not following." He defended weakly and she shook her head.

"Oh sure. Convenient." She teased straightening some of her papers.

Obi sighed his shoulders drooping. He'd definitely been caught. Slinking out of the window sill he walked over and began to put some of the jars and containers away.

"I know her. Knew her. She's a part of my past, better forgotten." Shrugging Obi looked over his eyes slowly widening. You were now standing behind Shirayuki. Your eyes were wide and glistening with unshed tears.

Better forgotten? You were better forgotten because you were a part of his past? He left you on purpose?

"You left me intentionally? Obi you wanted to just leave and forget about me? About us?" Shirayuki jumped looking behind her.

"Y/n? That was fast." She gasped seeing the tears glisten down your cheeks.

"I can't believe you! All these years I've been worried sick, looking for you, and you left me on purpose!" You snarled.

"You know what? Fine. I'll just go back to that bastard. Maybe he'll actually want me!" You hissed.

Pushing past him you jumped out of the window and stormed toward the gate walls. You didn't have time to walk all the way to the gates.

The tears were forcing their way out and you didn't want Obi to see you cry. Running towards the wall you heard Shirayuki call out for you.

Stopping you turned to look back at her. She looked sad, but you smiled and waved. You would at least say goodbye. Then you turned and sprinted away.

"Obi! You have to go get her! Before she does something reckless!" Shirayuki whipped around pleading.

"I can't. She is making her choice. It is her choice! She is her own person if she wants to leave then I should let her. You should let her." He argued looking away.

"Obi." Shirayuki snapped catching the male off guard. Glancing up quickly he winced at the look in her eyes.

"You care about her. You loved her?" Shirayuki asked and Obi looked down.

He did love you. He did care about you. And that's why he had to let you go.

"I- that was a long time ago. I mean I still care about her but..." He sighed running his hand through his hair.

"That was gone the moment I left. She hates me for sure now." He grumbled leaning against the counter.

"She loves you." Shirayuki insisted. "She spent years looking for you. What reason could you possibly have to let her go? Again!?" She hissed out slamming a cabinet shut.

Obi looked up surprised at the sudden anger in her voice. Why was she so insistent? So angry? She didn't know about the past you and him had. About what the two of you had been through. Maybe she was right though.

However, before he could say a word Shirayuki was in his face.

"No don't answer that because actually I don't want an answer! She needs you now! She loves you! She thought you were Dead! Dead Obi!" She snapped.

"She looked for you and waited and you just.... You just are going to let her go?!"

Looking down Obi felt his eyes begin to water. He didn't want to let you go but what could he do? Pretend he didn't leave? Act like he didn't just say he wanted to forget about you?

As he thought things over he remembered the argument you'd just had and something clicked.

"Fine. I'll just go back to that bastard."

You were still stuck with Guran. That son a.... Suddenly he was turning and leaping out of the window. He landed and darted forward racing through and jumping into the trees. He needed to find you and fast. He couldn't let you go back, not to him

Back to you

You ran faster then you thought you could. He didn't want you. He left you. He willingly left you. He abandoned you. Your mind raced as you gasped, your breath came out ragged.

Tears streamed down your face as you sprinted between buildings and people. You couldn't stop. You had to keep moving or you'd collapse and never get back up. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad though. Just stopping and lying there in the empty dark.

However before you got out of your current alley way someone grabbed you. Your wrist was twisted behind your back and a hand covered your mouth.

Panic filled you and your mind was fogged with heartache. Maybe you could just give up. You had no reason to fight. Obi didn't want you and Guran would only beat and use you. Even Touru had left you. You had no fight left so you just slumped.

Your knees gave out and you sunk. The person grunted but pulled you up.

"Come on my butterfly, don't be like that." The voice caused your skin to tingle uncomfortably. Guran. He'd found you.

"Now how about we talk about how you ran away, huh?"

You closed your eyes and pushed yourself away from him, but he only gripped onto you tighter. You whimpered as he laughed.

"Please. You think I'm gonna let you go? Not now butterfly."

Before you could say anything you heard something flying through the air and gasped as you felt yourself taken from the bulky, grubby arms of Guran.

"Well how about now, you bastard." The voice was venomous. Angry.

Opening your eyes wearily and noticed the spiky brown hair immediately. Obi. He'd come for you.... But why? Your mouth went dry as you realized you'd almost let Guran take you. Your face was red and blotchy from crying you were sure.

Carefully the male set you down but kept you close. Cautiously you reached your arms up and dug your face into Obi's neck. His grip on you tightened as Guran let out a big burly laugh that sounded like a choke.

"How cute the cat and the butterfly. Look Obi I ain't got no hard feelings, but she's my property. So if you don't mind..." He took a step towards you and Obi shifted you in his arms, launching three kunai at Guran. A warning.

Snarling Guran launched at Obi. You felt the ground leave as Obi wrapped his arms around your waist launching to the right, dodging the sloppy attack. Anger was making a deadly assassin useless.

Your eyes widened as Guran turned his eyes large and wide. In his side was a kunai. You couldn't be sure if Obi had done it or if his anger had made him act that recklessly, but he looked like a pissed off bull.

Tapping Obi's shoulder you looked up to him hoping he got the message. Before Obi could respond, you pushed away from him and sped around the bleeding Guran. He was a bastard, but he wasn't stupid. He couldn't attack you both.

Obi seemed to catch on and sped the opposite way. Rushing around you noticed Guran's eyes latch onto you. He wanted you. That was enough information to know your next move.

Running towards the woods you saw earlier. Running through you pulled yourself up into a tree and began to hop tree to tree. Guran had been stabbed, hopefully that would slow him down.

Climbing and jumping, you kept going, praying Guran wasn't as close as he felt. This was certainly a game of cat and mouse, but this mouse was just as dangerous.

As you hopped towards another branch you yelped when you felt hands grasp at your ankles causing you to slip off of the branch.

You fell hard, branches digging into your skin and bruising your body. You gasped loudly when you hit the ground, the air being forced out of your lungs. Your arms were scraped, your legs ached, and your back burned.

Opening your eyes you saw Guran was growling across from you, his eyes wide and wild. Gritting your teeth you pushed yourself up before sprinting again. You heard his body clamber up, the branches snapping under his weight.

Where was Obi? Was he okay? Were you going to be okay? You didn't know but kept running. You dodged multiple trees as you gasped for air, lungs burning. Maybe you'd bruised a couple ribs.

Listening intently you heard rushing water. Legs pumping with all they were worth, you raced to the source. You gasped at the large waterfall. There was no way you could jump that.

A branch snapped behind you and you whipped around. Turning you saw Guran slinking in a primal look in his gaze. You bit the inside of your cheek as you looked around for an escape.

"You dumb bitch. You thought you could leave? That he could save you? He ran away like the coward he is." He laughed a nasally laugh. Your heart slammed against your chest, but you kept your face neutral.

"Yet I'm still standing." You replied stepping back slightly. You winced as you felt the soft ground give way slightly.

"Not for long." Your eyes widened as he pulled out his whip, quickly lashing it at your ankles.

Yelping you stepped back trying to avoid the lashing of the whip, but the ground gave way and your footing left you, rushing water frothing, ready to swallow you.

Squeezing your eyes shut you prepared for your death, silently praying it was the water that killed you and not Guran. What you didn't expect however was for someone to grab you mid-fall. Cracking your eyes open you saw the cat-like hues of Obi. He looked pissed.

"The only coward I see here is you, Guran." His voice was harsh and cold as he pulled you securely into his chest. Your heart was racing, pounding.

"Listen, Obi we never had any bad blood. I said it before, I'll say it again. Just hand the girl over. She's my property, and needs to be punished. Isn't that right, little butterfly?" You shuddered at the nickname.

"No. You'll have to kill me first, and I don't plan on dying anytime soon." Obi snarled.

Quickly he pulled you from his chest, before grabbing your hand and pulling you through the trees again.

The branches scratched and tore at you skin and clothes, your ribs and back ached, your eyes were red and puffy, but you hadn't felt this alive, this free, in forever.

Calming your breathing you listened as Guran crashed through the woods, yelling and cursing at you both.

Soon though, despite your high pain tolerance and stamina, the pain in your side became too much and you collapsed, your breathing becoming labored. You knew Guran was close, but you couldn't run anymore.

"Y/n what's wrong?" Obi whipped around as you collapsed.

When he saw you on the ground, your chest heaving, he panicked. Immediately he crouched down trying to look you over.

Looking into your eyes for permission he grabbed the hem of your top. You nodded with a wince and that was all he needed. Pulling your shirt up slightly he grimaced at the already purpling bruises.

"Y/n we have to keep moving. I'm sorry." He sighed before pulling you up and into his arms.

"This is gonna hurt." He warned before darting away again.

You moaned slightly in pain, wrapping your arms around his neck. Peering over his shoulder you saw a very angry Guran.

Obi must have noticed the male closing in because he ran faster, faster than you thought he could carrying you. The woods began to thin. You were closing in on the town.

"Y/n," you heard Obi speak, but you just tucked your face away into his neck. He nodded, his pace slowing down as he began to make turns into random alley ways.

"They should be around here..." He murmured and then you heard horse hooves.

"Obi! What were you- y/n?" You heard Zen, his voice going from irritation to concern.

"Master! Where is Shirayuki? Y/n, she's not doing to good." Obi's voice faltered at the end as his arms tightened around your legs and waist causing you to cry out quietly. He apologized softly.

"I'm right-" she stopped when she saw you in Obi's arms.

"Oh my god. Y/n!" She cried as she rushed over her hands fluttering over you not knowing where to start.

"You son of a bitch!" A familiar voice snarled behind you and you felt your heart squeeze.

Guran stood behind you, behind Obi, his katana held out with one hand, and the other holding his bleeding abdomen.

"I'm going to kill her. I'm going to torture her and I'm going to make you watch!" He snapped rushing at the group and you screamed as he slashed down.

Zen rushed forward throwing Shirayuki up onto his horse and Obi dodged the blade, his hold on you never loosening.

He wasn't going to give you up. He wasn't going to let you go again. Having you so close and almost losing you so quickly, put him into resignation. You were never leaving his side and he'd never leave yours again.

"Fucking hell. Just give me the bitch. She's broken. Useless." Guran growled his tone bored and tired.

"Like hell." Obi snarled, before handing you up to Mitsuhide.

"You want her? You'll have to take her from my cold, dead hands." Obi snapped pulling 3 kunai out.

Guran smiled. "That can be arranged."

You tried to stay awake. You tried so hard but everything hurt. Your head was pounding and you felt like you were on fire.

"Mitsu," you whimpered before the heat over took you. You fell limp in the man's arms causing him to freak out. Obi very nearly turned around to grab you and just run. He wouldn't though. Couldn't. He'd get rid of this bastard so that he never hurt you again.

"I'm going to kill you." Obi frowned as he said it, but he knew he meant it.

"I'd like to see you try. I taught you everything you know, boy." Guran snickered before rushing forward. The two danced around each other, stabbing and jerking at each other.

Obi would stab at him and Guran would jerk to the side before prodding at Obi. Obi didn't want to underestimate the man. Stabbed or not he was still an assassin. Still deadly.

"I'm going to incapacitate you. And then I'm going to kill each and every one of your friends, saving our little butterfly for last. Her? I'm going to kill her nice and slow. A stab here a slice there. I'm going to make her scream." Guran sneered, an attempt to make Obi lash out at him.

"I'm going to kill you quickly. You'll have no mercy." Obi hissed.

His eyes were small slits, and his face held a prominent frown as he circled the bulky male, looking for an opening.

He found one when the man jumped towards Mitsuhide's horse. His mistake was turning his back to Obi. As he leapt at you and Mitsuhide, Kiki jumped in front of your horse and deflected the man's katana with a clang!

Obi appeared behind the man, one kunai at his throat and another through his back.

"Go to hell." Obi whispered in Guran's ear before slitting his throat.

Shirayuki hid her face in Zens back and Kiki nodded at Obi. Then Obi was at your side brushing your hair back and Mitsuhide offered to ride with Kiki. Shirayuki rode with Zen allowing Obi to ride back with you held close to his chest. Zen sent some of his towns guard to deal with the body.

Later

"How is she?" Zen asked peering over at Obi who held you, clutching on to you like you'd disappear with the wind.

"I won't know for sure until we get back, Master. She hasn't opened her eyes yet." Obi glanced back down at you, your face was still red and looked troubled.

That look on your face hurt him, and in that moment he knew he'd never walk away from you again. He never thought about how leaving would affect you. He never gave himself the chance to think about it.

His grip on you tightened the more he thought about it. Leaning down he kissed your forehead. When you opened your eyes again he would make you a promise. A promise to never leave you ever again.

When you all arrived back to the castle, everyone fretted over you and Obi. You were still unconscious, still in Obi's arms, as they lead him to the infirmary.

Gurak took care of him while Ryuu and Shirayuki treated you. Ryuu looked ready to break, and Shirayuki had a look of concentration, determined to ease the pain.

Obi would've smiled at her determined face but he couldn't seem to find it. When you did wake up it was 4 hours later. Obi never left your side, holding your hand in his. He didn't leave, even when Zen ordered him to get something to eat or drink, or just anything that would distract him.

Shirayuki promised you'd be okay, but he just couldn't bring himself to leave. So when you did wake up he was right there with you.

Your first response to waking up was to promptly hit the first person you saw. Fight or Flight kicking in. That person was Obi. You swung and Obi caught your fist.

"Easy there, Tiger. You might hurt someone." He chided playfully, his eyes glinting softly.

"Obi." You all but whispered before leaping into his arms.

It hurt, hell it hurt, but being in his arms made you feel so much better. Knowing he didn't leave you, eased your heartache.

He held you securely, but not painfully. His face was tucked into your neck as he held you. Your arms were wound around his shoulders and you cried softly into his jacket.

He didn't let you go, not until you pulled away. Then he held your face, his eyes boring into yours. Your face flushed lightly and then he leaned forward. His lips barely touching yours, hovering. Closing your eyes you closed the gap. His lips were warm, and slightly wet. It made your stomach flip and your heart pound.

Kissing Obi. You were kissing Obi. You hands found their way to the back of his neck deepening the kiss. You would've kissed him forever but you pulled away before you could embarrass yourself.

"Never-" you started but jumped when he spoke at the same time.

"I love you." He whispered tucking your hair behind your ear.

Your eyes widened and you stared at him, unsure as to whether or not you were awake.

"Obi- I love you, too?" Your voice was higher than normal in shock. He let out a sigh of relief before holding your hands in his.

"Thank god. You were saying?" He asked as he played with your fingers. It took you a minute but you realized what he meant and reiterated.

"I was saying 'never leave me again' but I think you got that covered." You laughed leaning forward to kiss his forehead.

"Never." He agreed nodding.

You let out a sigh of relief but yelped when the door slammed open and Ryuu and Shirayuki ran in and globbed you.

Gurak laughed as you were mauled and you playfully glared at her, wrapping your arms around both of your friends.

"I'm okay." You promised them.

When they finally pulled away Shirayuki checked you over and confirmed that, while you'd be sore, you were indeed fine.

Obi held your hand the entire time and that calmed you. When she was done they'd all taken turns explaining what happened while you were unconscious and telling you about the treatment you'd needed and received.

Obi purposefully left out the unaliving of Guran. He did tell you that he wouldn't bother you anymore though, but that was it.

You nodded listening intently. When they finished you smiled at them, thanking them and then turned to kiss Obi on the cheek.

"I may not have a prince charming like our little red here, but I do have my own knight." You snickered and you saw Ryuu smile slightly. Obi chuckled kissing your forehead.

Smiling at your newfound friends you winked at them. You'd scored the runaway assassin.

Spencer x reader

Sitting on Spencer's couch you'd been reading one of your favorite books. It was early, at least for a weekend it was. You'd come by Spencer's hoping to catch him before a phone call from the team, however he seemed to have been gone already.

You thought about just going home, but decided to stay and clean the already, mostly pristine apartment. It was organized in his own chaotic way. You'd slowly put away his paperwork and obsessively marked books.

You then walked over to his nearly empty sink washing the dishes. After that it was doing his laundry and maybe make and remake his bed.

Today was your last day off which is why you were hoping to catch him. You worked at an elementary school and taught a rambuctious group of 2nd graders. They were great kids and you loved them all dearly.

That being said tomorrow was Monday so you had things that you needed to prepare. That is why you called Spencer and let him know you'd been there. You knew he was observant and may panic if he saw his apartment.

"Hey Spence, it's me. I just wanted to let you know I stopped by. I love you and I'll see you when you're back. Kisses." Then you hung up.

Nothing could have prepared you for the next day.

You woke up at 5:00am and got ready for the day. The school day didn't start until 8:30, but you wanted to catch a shower.

Swinging your legs over your bed and wobbled to the bathroom, grabbing a towel and your brush on the way. You had your clothes laid out the night before, surprisingly you were set for Monday it was Friday when you just threw your clothes on and prayed they matched.

That being said you sauntered into the small room flipping the light on and flinching at it's brightness.

"Ugh no! Tis to early for this." You groaned plopping the towel on the toilet.

You stripped the overnight clothes off and turned the shower on, the steam rising from the enclosed space and into the rest of the room.

Pulling the curtains aside you stepped in, the hot water cascading down your back and soaking your hair. The water washed away your sleepiness and you began to shampoo and condition your locks. You hummed as the suds made your hair squishy and soft. You giggled before putting your head back under the rushing water. The soap washed out gathering around your feet and down the drain.

Once you were sure the soap was out and that your body felt refreshed, you shut the water off. Stepping out of the shower your feet padded on the shower mat. You smiled reaching over and grabbing the grey towel.

Drying your body you then dried your hair. Once you were sure you wouldn't drip water everywhere you brushed through your damp hair.

Spinning back to your door you wrapped the towel tightly around yourself. You needed to get dressed and you'd sleepily left the clothes in your room. Huffing you opened the door, the cool air rushing at your damp flesh, goosebumps rising.

Shivering you padded to your room and made sure the curtains were closed, windows locked, and then locking the bedroom door. You heard all sorts of stories from Penelope about how women were attacked in their own homes while they were vulnerable. No not you and not today.

Quickly you slipped into your clothes, which happened to be a pair of black leggings and a (favorite color) dress that ended just above the knee, with a light overcoat

You huffed before grabbing your phone. 5:45 am. Good you were on a roll. You lived about 15 minutes away from the school so you had time.

Sliding your sneakers on you tied them before hearing your front door open. You immediately jumped up, opening your night stand, and pulling out the pistol you'd kept stashed there.

You crept over to the door and unlocked the knob. With the way your apartment was set up you couldn't see the front door or the kitchen. Stepping into the hall you slinked down towards the living room. Once you entered you saw the back of the person kneeling in front of your fridge.

You almost laughed out loud, but clicked the safety back on.

"Spence you couldn't text me before coming over?" You giggled as the brunette jumped, hitting his head off the top of the fridge.

"Ouch! Crap. I'm sorry y/n I wanted to surprise you. I figured I could stop by early enough that I won't be called in." You laughed at the male before placing the gun in another drawer in the kitchen.

"Awe that's sweet Spencer. What were you looking for?" You laughed walking over to him and pushing his bangs out of his face.

"Ehm well I was looking for some coffee creamer because the barista forgot it. They were really busy." You nodded before brushing past him and to the refrigerator.

"Ahh let's see I have hazelnut and vanilla and oh! There's some caramel, too."

You heard him whisper a soft "Vanilla, please." Before you stood up the container in hand. Turning around you saw his eyes were downcast and your eyebrows raised in concern.

"Spencer. Is everything alright?" He seemed to jump at the question, but nodded reaching for the bottle in your hand.

"No. There's something bothering you, love. What happened yesterday?" His eyes widened as you placed the bottle behind him on the counter.

"You can talk to me. You know that. Now spill, Spence." He shuddered slightly before sighing.

"There's a case. The unsub is targeting elementary schools in the area. He targets the female employees killing them, talking about it's them or the kids. He even used a recording to lure them. Still no one is taking us seriously! We've gone to several of the schools, even the superintendent! They're refusing to shut the schools down saying that 'our employees are trained for this.'" He huffed heavily running his fingers through his hair.

"This guy is smart y/n. He's already gone to three schools and killed 23 people and-" he choked up as he thought about the 13 children who died.

"Spence, what school would he go for next? He's smart and calculated I'm sure. Where would he target next?" You looked at your best friend worry in your eyes. He looked up at you the gears in his head turning.

"That's the thing y/n he's unpredictable. We thought he had a connection to one and he attacked another. We have no idea which school he'll target next. So far all of his attacks would seem random but they're not." He sighed out rubbing his face.

"He's killed 23 people. 10 teachers and 13 children. We thought we were so close Y/n and he killed again. We can't lose. We can't let him kill again." His voice sounded so strained.

You went to answer him when his phone beeped. He jumped slightly before pulling it out.

"I got to go. The team needs me. I'm sorry. I love you! Be safe" he rushed kissing your forehead, before slipping out of the front door.

Fisting your hands you sighed. This man could target your school next. Grabbing your purse and keys you rushed out the door.

"Yes sir I understand there's no evidence or reason for him to come here but please listen to me. If we take the precautions, just until he's caught there's less likely of a chance for anyone to get hurt!

We are an elementary school. We don't have to switch classes. We can have indoor recess, allowing the children to be safe, to learn, to have fun!

We can have lunch in our classrooms and avoid being out in the open. This man is dangerous sir. Please."

Your boss looked at you his eyes sharp.

"Ms. L/n I'm sure this man is dangerous, and I'm sure you're worried but there is no reason for us to go into a panic. You may do as you wish with your class, I'll permiss it but I cannot make the other teachers to through with it. I'm sorry." You sighed but nodded.

"Thank you Victor. I appreciate it but please inform them?" He hesitated but nodded.

"I will."

Walking back to your classroom your shoes thudded along the tile. At least you got permission to protect your class. It was definitely something.

Unlocking your door you pulled together today's activities. You'd have to make sure everything was prepared for if something happened.

Going through your cupboards and closets, you emptied or organized them, to maybe hide the kids in. It wasn't much but you wanted to keep them safe.

School would be in session soon and you needed to be sure that you were prepared.

"Hey Lola! How are you today?" You greeted the young girl as she plopped into her desk.

"I'm mad. Mommy told me that Skylar isn't coming to school today! And she is like my bestest best friend!" You laughed as she threw her arms up in frustration.

"Maybe that's what's best Little Lady. Don't worry though! We might play hide and seek later!" You said handing her a squishy ball to squeeze.

Soon you had all of your kids for today. You may have called the parents and let them know of the risks and Victor might not be impressed but you'd deal with his wrath later.

Looking around you told the class of the plans today and gave them a math game to play in small groups. The door of course was locked along with the door stop.

You gave each child an assignment, but made it a game so that they wouldn't be scared. You made Lola and Jaiden your captains who took care of their crew. If someone had to go to the bathroom you'd take a small group and leave the other group to watch the classroom. Then you'd come back and switch.

That being said you were constantly checking in on Spencer. He didn't answer much but he did reassure you to his best ability. At least he had been.

You didn't understand what was happening until you heard someone bump into the microphone in the office.

It made a terrible screaming noise before you heard Haley, the secretary announce that everyone had to take the school intruder precautions.

Quickly you told the kids to go to their "bases" or hiding places. Jaiden and his team hid in the cupboards while Lola and hers hid in the closet.

You? You stood next to the door out of sight. Earlier you'd put up a curtain so that if the guy did show up he couldn't look in.

You heard the other kids in other classes asking what was going on and some of them were crying. You grimaced at the thought of their faces.

You waited for a while before Victor came on.

"I understand you are scared. I need you all to stay calm and keep the children safe. No matter what you hear, or see DO NOT leave your classrooms. Thank you that is all."

Glancing around you began pushing some of the desks in front of the door. Then you ran over to the window and unlocked one. You didn't open it for fear of making your escape obvious. If you needed to get the kids out quickly you would.

Pulling out your phone your dialed Spencers number. If you heard any evidence of the unsub he'd be on speed dial. That being said you told the kids to stay hidden and go over their "battle plans".

Steadying your breathing you walked over to the door and stood next to it out of sight.

It didn't take long before you heard screaming, a female. She was yelling about how it was the schools corrupt system that got her son killed. That if they had listened to protocol and protected him he'd still be alive.

You gasped before calling Reid.

"Hello?" Shuddering you replied quietly.

"The unsub is actually a woman. She has a dead son. He died in a school shooting or something similar." The other end was silent for a moment before you heard some scuffling.

"Y/n?" You sighed as you recognised Hotch's voice.

"Yes sir?"

"I need you to tell me what's going on." Before you could answer a loud gun shot was heard.

"Y/n! Are you okay!" You heard Spencer panic.

"I- I am fine. So are the kids. I don't know about the others though. The unsub. She's here Spencer and she's mad." You cried softly before another shot echoed throughout the building.

"Y/n. We're on our way. Just stay safe. We're coming." You nodded before mumbling a soft 'okay' and hanging up.

"YOU TEACHERS KILLED MY BABY! YOU DIDN'T PROTECT HIM! HE DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE. HE WAS A CHILD!" you gasped as she wailed before shooting her gun again. Directly into your door.

Gasping you waited. You heard her walk over to the door before pulling on the handle.

"Oh. So you think you can protect them huh? With a measly door and a glass window with a fucking curtain? No way in hell."

With that she put the gun against the glass with a 'clank'. Before you could react and loud ringing filled your ears as she pulled the trigger.

Glass flew everywhere as the woman laughed. Thinking fast you grabbed a desk and faced it towards the window holding it in place. With her only way in temporarily blocked you called for Lola.

"Lola honey! C'mere!" You whisper yelled as the small girl crawled out.

"Ms. L/n what was that? It was really loud and we're scared." You smiled softly.

"I know honey but I need you to get all of your classmates and take them to the 3rd window. Do you understand?" She nodded quickly rushing around.

Sighing in relief you jumped when another gun shot sounded.

Gritting your teeth you let go of the desk, glad it stayed.

Helping Lola gather them all was much harder then you wanted it to be, but they were scared and that you understood.

"Okay my little adventures, we're gonna do an escape mission. I want you all to climb out of this window and hide in the bushes until the good guys come okay?" They nodded and you shivered in relief. Once they were safe you could do what you needed to.

Quickly you put them on the counter and they climbed out, the taller boys going first to help the shorter ones.

Finally it was Lola's turn and she looked at you with big watery eyes.

"Ms. L/n I'm scared." Your heart broke before you hugged her.

"Me too. Don't worry though our knight is coming princess." She cried as you put her on the counter helping her out.

"Be safe. Hide. Go!" They all nodded and ran off. As soon as you were sure they were safe you rushed to the door that connected to Mr. Groves room. Unlocking it you rushed in all the kids looked at you wide eyed.

"Hey guys! It's okay you need to be really quiet and come with me okay?" They cried and looked over at their teacher and you nearly screamed at the sight.

He had gotten hit by a stray bullet or something and was bleeding out on the floor.

"Okay. Okay come on. Quietly." They nodded rushing into your classroom. When you had them all you helped them out like you did your own, giving them the same instructions.

Rushing back the other class you took off your jacket pressing it into Steve's chest.

"Hey Steve. How are you?" You laughed awkwardly and he gurgled at you. Crying you kept pressure.

"They're all safe. I helped them. It's okay." You smiled at him and he smiled lightly and you sobbed quietly as his life slowly seeped out onto your hands and jacket.

Slowly pulled your hands away you jumped when you heard sniffling.

Whipping around you looked under his desk finding a little boy.

"Hey hey! What's your name handsome?" You asked quickly wiping the blood off.

"C-christopher, b-but my mo-mommy calls m-me Chris." He sobbed.

"Okay Chris why don't I help you out with your other friends?" The boy shook his head aggressively in a 'no' motion.

"I can't." Your eyebrows raised before your eyes widened.

"Christopher, are you paralyzed?" The boy nodded and you let out a breath.

"Okay come here. I'll carry you." His eyes widened.

"We, we can't go out there. The bad lady will shoot us!" You winced at his loud voice and he seemed to realize what he'd done because he began to softly cry.

"Ahh honey it's okay. We won't move. We won't move." You hushed pulling him into you.

You sat there for what felt like forever before you heard Derek talking down the Unsub.

"Ma'am you don't want to do this! Put the gun down. Ma'am!" You and Christopher jumped when someone slammed into your classroom next door.

Pulling Christopher into your lap you held him close as he cried into your chest.

"THEY KILLED HIM! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT. THEY KILLED HIM." You jumped at how close she seemed.

Breathing out shakily you put Chris down gesturing for him to be quiet.

Slowly you pulled yourself up. Glancing at the door connecting the rooms you saw it was partially opened.

Taking a deep breath you slowly made your way over jumping when the woman began to yell again.

This was your chance. Running at the door you slammed it shut turning the lock.

"YOU CAN'T PROTECT THEM!" She screamed slamming into the now locked door.

Quickly you dragged a few desks to block her from entering. From there you unlocked the main door.

"Chris, baby, I'm going to pick you up and I want you to close your eyes. Do you understand?" He nodded quickly tears bubbling up.

"Okay come here honey." He dragged himself over to you and you quickly gathered him into your arms.

"Okay you have to trust me. Just close your eyes." You hushed quickly and quietly opening the classroom door, as the women continued to bang and scream in yours.

Rushing into the hall you saw Derek's eyes widen as you held Chris to your chest, the blood from Steve staining your outfit.

"It's not mine!" You assured as you jogged to him, Chris hiding in your hair.

"The kids are outside hiding in the bushes." You whispered once you were close enough so the woman wouldn't hear you.

"Mr. Groves, she killed him. And Chris he's paralyzed." You informed as Derek ushered you behind him.

"You need to get out of here. If she sees you she'll-" *BANG*

You yelped in shock as the shot rang out.

"Move in!" A man yelled followed by his team.

Christopher held onto you sobbing into your dress. You held him close and hushed him, whispering reassurances into his ear.

Derek led you outside and when you got there you were surrounded by police and EMT's.

You handed Christopher off to one of the women, promising him he'd be okay. Then you ran over to the bushes and found both your students and Steve's.

"Hey guys! Come one the good guys are here." You promised as Lola ran to you.

"Hey princess." You murmured as she cried into your shoulder. The other kids surrounded you in a group hug.

Standing up you held Lola to your chest.

"Come on guys." You ushered them to the authorities.

You were shocked when a woman mobbed you and began to cry as she held you and Lola.

"Thank you! Thank you so much." She cried and you were to shocked to do anything.

When she pulled away she held Lola's face in one hand and yours in the other.

"You don't know me, but I know you. You saved my little boy Chris." She sniveled and you nodded.

"Chris. Is he okay?" You asked as you set Lola down next to you keeping ahold of her hand.

"Yes thanks to you. He's a little shaken up of course but thank you!" She continued.

You nodded before you led her to an ambulance where Chris was sitting.

"Hey Chris. This is Lola. You mind if she stays with you and your mom?" You asked as you brushed Lola's hair back.

He nodded patting the spot next to him.

"Thank you. Lola honey I'll be right back." You assured her before turning to scan the crowd, looking for Spencer.

When you found him you rushed to him. Calling out his name, he turned, and you ran into his arms.

"Spencer." You wept lightly and he held you, wrapping his arms around you as he held you tightly.

"You did it." He whispered and you nodded.

"We did it." You told him pulling away.

He nodded and kissed your forehead.

"You're amazing." He murmured.

You shuddered lightly.

"Amazingly gross. I- I need to change. Steve..." You muttered and he nodded.

"I think JJ might have a change of clothes.... Or I could ask Penelope?" He suggested and you nodded hating the blood on your clothes.

Leading you towards his team mates, he kissed your forehead.

When you got there Derek clapped you on the shoulder, congratulating you for your quick thinking.

Hotch nodded to you in respect and Emily and JJ fretted over you.

Emily gave you one of her shirts, and you borrowed a pair of sweats from Morgan.

"Thanks guys." You smiled tightly as Spencer held you to his side, one arm wrapped around your waist.

Leaning into his shoulder you closed your eyes. Today definitely didn't go to plan.

You found out later after you asked what happened, that the woman was named Marissa Timmins. Her son was killed in a school shooting after one of the teachers snapped.

The boy was eight. The snap occured after she found out that the man who'd killed her child was going with an insanity plea.

That being said the gunshot you'd heard was her... well taking her life into her own hands.

Everyone was deemed okay but were understandably shaken up. Luckily no children were harmed. Haley was being treated for a gunshot wound to her hip and Victor had been shot in the abdomen but was rushed to the hospital.

It seemed the only casualties this time were Steve and Marissa.

That night Spencer had taken you home and stayed with you the entire time, which the team understood. Several parents sent you thank you cards, and so did the kids. School had been cancelled for the rest of the week so you slept in, or tried to.

The nightmares weren't helping but waking up in Spencer's arms calmed your racing heart.

You were glad you had him. So glad. That being said Steve's funeral was on Thursday, and then despite how everyone else felt you attended Marissa's as well.

Maybe it was to see how her family saw her before she lost her child, maybe it was to try and get to know her for who she had been, or maybe it was so you could put a face to the woman who'd killed so many people.

It was closed casket for her, but the pictures showed enough. As for Steve's, well you felt terrible. Seeing his wife and two daughters, it broke your heart.

You offered your condolences and Mrs. Groves held you for a long time. She thanked you for being there for him in his final moments.

Spencer waited for you both times, ready to hold you as you sobbed.

You never understood how Spencer could do this, see people die, day in and day out but you loved him for it.

Standing on your tip toes you pecked him on the lips.

"Let's go home?" You asked and nodded walked around the car and opening your door.

"Let's go home." He confirmed kissing your cheek.

Live action

"Tony!" You yelled as you stormed into the living room.

"Some guy is here! A tall one with black hair?" You heard the man scoff behind you but ignored him.

Tony entered the room and glared at the male who was now standing next you.

"Loki." Tony greeted coldly.

"Tony." The man, Loki, replied.

"Y/n." You huffed pointing at yourself.

Tony turned to you apologetically.

"Sorry I didn't tell you we were having a guest. He's here on house arrest." Tony explained gesturing at the man.

"Right. Okay, but Tony we've talked about this. I work for your team and I need to stay informed." You sighed stepping towards him to straighten his collar.

"I know y/n but to be fair he's not very memorable!" Tony defended and you glared at him.

Tugging harshly on his collar you yanked him down so he was eye to eye with you.

"I don't care how memorable he is. I expect you to tell me these things and to be professional." Tony gulped but nodded.

"Right. Gotcha." He choked out and you released his collar.

Turning around you faced your guest, Loki. You'd heard about him before, none of it good. However you'd give him the benefit of the doubt. He was from Asgard and the brother of Thor. Those were the only things you knew for sure. Everything else you'd have to learn from him. Facing him you introduced yourself.

"Hello Loki. I am y/n l/n of Midgard as I've heard Thor refer to it." You held out your hand to him.

Eyeing you warily he held his hand out as well but Tony yanked you back.

"Your gloves." He warned you and you blinked. You totally forgot.

"Oh. Right." You shook your head pulling a pair of gloves out.

Why the gloves? Because you had the ability of reading emotions through touch. Skin to skin contact gave you a rush of emotions from that person. Good or bad whatever they were feeling you felt it just as much as they did.

Tugging them on you reached out again.

"Sorry about that. I didn't want to read your emotions without your consent." You explained nodding to the gloves.

Loki seemed surprised but took your hand, shaking it.

"Noted. I am Loki of Asgard." He introduced bowing slightly.

You quirked a brow at that in amusement and smiled.

"Nice to meet you. I'll set up a room for you as soon as possible but until then you may stay on my floor if you so choose. Although I'm sure Thor would be more than pleased to have you stay with him." You informed him easily.

He winced at the mention of his brother but nodded.

"I may take you up on that offer." He smirked and Tony snarled behind you.

"Y/n I really don't think-" you turned to glare at your boss.

"Tony. I believe it's in your best interest to stop before you begin. This could've been avoided had you actually told me what was going on but you didn't. That being said unless Loki chooses otherwise, he will stay with me." You crossed your arms and raised a brow, daring Tony to challenge you.

The male frowned but just grumbled as he walked away. Smirking you turned to the god.

"Okay. Now that we've taken care of that. Would you like to stay with me or your brother?" You inquired smiling.

"You, if the offer still stands. My brother can be overbearing." Loki grimaced.

"Of course. Follow me." You chirped walking over to the elevator.

"We're on floor 8(first initial). It stands for what floor level it is and who it belongs to. When we get you set up I think you'll be either floor 9 or 6. Unless you choose to stay on my floor which you're more than welcome to do." You grinned at him before the elevator doors slid open and FRIDAY told you you'd arrived.

Stepping out you led Loki through your living room and into the guest room.

"You can stay here for now. You'll have your own bathroom, too. We can get you a different comforter set later but until then I hope you don't mind the (f/c) set." You blushed lightly before entering the room yourself and straightening it up.

"I'll be right across the hall if you need anything. I'll set up a passcode to my floor that only you and I know until the others calm down. I'm sure they're not thrilled you're here. That way they won't bother you." You told him as you breezed past him into the kitchen.

"Everything in here is open to you if you want it: coffee, tea, juice. I've got a lot." You opened the fridge to prove the point.

Fifteen minutes later you'd finished showing him around so you led him to the couch.

He'd kept a straight face for most of the tour so when you were done you bit your lip.

"If there's anything you need just let me know. The others may be a bit harsh but they mean well most of the time." You laughed nervously as you flopped onto the couch yourself. Pulling a pillow to your chest, you hugged it before letting out a sigh.

"Okie dokie. I have to get back to work, make sure the others didn't burn down the main floor. You can lounge around here until you feel comfortable enough to leave. If you need me just tell FRIDAY. He'll let me know." Standing up you left to check on the others.

Tony had probably already told them and they were probably planning an ambush on your apartment at this very moment.

Stepping into the elevator you spoke.

"FRIDAY I'd like to set up a security measure. No one but me and Loki can enter the apartment or floor without exclusive permission. Understand?"

"Yes miss l/n. Security measure is now in place." The robotic voice responded.

Nodding the doors opened with a ding.

Stepping into the main area you noticed everyone in the living room, tension spilling into the halls.

"You let him come here!? After everything that happened in New York!" You heard Nat yell.

"I didn't have much of a choice!" Tony groaned.

"He won't do any harm! He's here in peace!" Thor reassured miserably.

"Well he should leave in pieces!" Clint grumbled.

Steve was silent as he sat on the couch with his arms crossed, Bucky beside him.

Bruce was about to intervene but you clapped loudly to get their attention.

"Hello my fellow colleagues and friends. How about we play nice and not threaten our guest!" You chirped a little to sweetly.

Everyone faced you but Nat stood up first.

"Are you crazy y/n!? Letting that lunatic stay in your apartment!" She growled as she glared you down.

Glaring back at her you crossed your arms.

"Yes. I am crazy. We've been through this time and time again and I go to therapy once every two weeks for what you call crazy." You snarled at her and she took a slight step back.

The word "crazy" was a touchy word for you. You'd been called many things in your life time. Crazy, a lunatic, a freak, and many other things because of what you could do.

"Y/n I didn't mean- it's just he's dangerous!" She tried to back pedal but what was done was done.

"Whatever Nat. Loki," you emphasized his name, "is staying with me. He will be until he decides to leave. You all will treat him like a person or I swear I will destroy you." You warned.

"Are we clear?" You glanced around the room and jumped when Loki spoke up behind you.

"I'd prefer to be treated like a god, but a person works too." He smirked.

"Loki." You greeted nodding at him.

"Lady Y/n." He greeted back.

Thor's jaw seemed to drop as he glanced between you two.

Loki respecting a midguardian? It seemed impossible.

"Look at him acting like he owns the place!" Clint started but stopped when you stepped toward him taking a glove off.

"Barton. Did I not make myself clear earlier?" You asked stalking closer.

The male stood up and ran behind the couch.

"Y/n we can talk about this. Just put the glove back on!" He plead as he glanced at the others for help.

Not only did you have the ability to read and feel emotions but you could also inflict and resurface them. Clint had been through this treatment before due to his attitude and he hated it.

"Answer the question." You snapped and he ducked behind Thor.

"You're clear. Crystal." He promised. He really wished he had his bow and some arrows on him right now.

"Good." You smiled pulling the glove back on.

"Now it is Saturday night so I do believe it's a movie night is it not?" You chirped clapping your hands together enthusiastically.

Everyone nodded not daring to say otherwise. Tony had hired you because you could round everyone up and calm things down.

"Wonderful. Shall we?" You asked and everyone agreed. Pulling out (f/m) you put it in and hit play.

You sat next to Loki on the farthest end of the couch due to everyone's apprehensiveness.

About an hour in you began to nod off. Your head leaned against Loki's shoulder as your hair fell into your face.

Loki had jumped at the contact but relaxed when he realized he wasn't in danger. He stayed as still as possible as not to wake you up. Another half an hour later and the credits were rolling.

Glancing down at you Loki lightly removed you from his shoulder, lying you down on the couch. Then he scooped you up to take you upstairs. Maybe this was out of character for him but you'd been kind.

Once you were in his arms your head lolled into his shoulder. He laughed quietly as he carried you to the elevator.

"Woah reindeer games. What do you think you're doing?" Tony questioned standing up.

Loki stopped turning around, and lifting a brow at the man.

"I'm taking Lady y/n to her room?" Loki raised his brow in confusion.

"We can take her up." Steve argued but Loki snickered.

"Go ahead and try." He shrugged passing you to Tony.

Tony gave him a smug look as he walked to the elevator with you. Five minutes later he returned, you still soundly asleep in his arms.

"FRIDAY won't let me in." He grumbled.

"Yes I am aware. I'll take Lady y/n up to bed now." Loki grinned before taking you from Tony.

"Goodnight." He nodded before walking to the elevator again.

"Night guys." You yawned waking up just a little.

Taking you to your room Loki tucked you in after helping you take care of your nightly routine.

"Night Loki." You slurred sleepily before hugging a pillow into your chest.

You slept soundly for about 3 hours before you awoke to red flashing and blaring alarms.

Panicking you flopped out of your bed and onto the floor.

"Loki!" You yelled as you stumbled into the hall. Loki was running down the hall to your room, stumbling into you as the building shook.

"What's going on!?" You yelped when glass shattered a floor down.

"This hasn't happened in 3 months!" You groaned as Loki helped you up.

As his hand grabbed yours your head went blank for a moment. Loki was scared. He was blaming himself for the attack. He worried that someone from his past was here to hurt him. He was worried about you. He-

You jumped when Loki pulled on you hand.

"Are you alright, Lady y/n?" He asked and you glanced up at him.

"I'm okay. You?" You asked stepping closer to him and pressing your bare hand to his face.

All of the emotions he was feeling were negative. You urged a calm through your finger tips and felt his shoulders relax.

Then he tensed up and yanked your hand away from him.

"We need to go to the others. Find out what all this noise is about." He snapped dropping your hand.

Swiftly he walked to the elevator and hit a button hoping to make it to the main floor.

Sliding open the doors granted access and you were on your way. Then you weren't. Something thudded on top of the metal box and the lights flickered.

You yelped as the elevator bounced and then stumbled into Loki's chest.

"Sorry." You groaned and then looked up. Whatever was on the roof was walking back and forth trying to figure out how to get in.

"Got any sneaky tricks up your sleeve?" You asked pushing yourself off of the man.

"Maybe. Depends on what it is." He shrugged before walking over to the elevator doors.

He inspected them for a moment before somehow prying them open. From where you stood you couldn't tell how he did it.

"Open says me." He joked half heartedly.

Great doors were open. Not so great you were stuck between floors.

"Up or down?" Loki asked and you glanced at him.

"Down. We need to get to the others."

Nodding he crouched down and slid out through the opening, about a foot and a half wide and two feet high.

He landed gracefully on the, you assumed, 6th floor.

"Come on out." He called stepping away from the opening.

Taking a deep breath you crouched to slide out the way he had but shrieked when the elevator bounced again and then the sound of screaming metal filled the small space. Glass rained down around you.

Shaking the glass out of your hair you looked up and choked on a scream. An arm had punctured the top of the elevator.

"Shit!" You yelped pushing yourself backwards towards the small exit.

"Lady y/n what's going on?!" You heard Loki ask but you miscalculated how high you were and fell on your butt.

"We have to go. Now!" You exclaimed grabbing his sleeve and running for a stair case.

The man followed you with almost no complaint as you ran to the stairwell.

"We need to get to the third floor." You huffed as you began to run down the stairs skipping a few at a time.

Loki nodded checking behind you every few moments. On the 4th floor you nearly toppled over the railing when you came face to face with a creature of some kind.

"Holy shit!" You fell backwards and Loki leapt the railing, landing in front of you. Suddenly he had two daggers in his hands as he impaled the critter.

"Okay thanks!" You breathed out and he held his hand out to you.

"Try to be more aware of your surroundings." He suggested as he pulled you up.

You nodded and he took the lead. You followed him to the third floor entrance and he cautiously opened the door. Inside the Avengers were battling it out.

"We have to get upstairs. Y/n can't defend herself!" You heard Nat snarl as she attacked yet another enemy.

It was probably stupid on your part but you cupped your hands over your mouth and shouted "I take offense to that!" at her.

Everything stopped for a moment as everyone turned to face you and Loki face palmed.

"Ignorant mortal." You heard him grumble.

Then he swooped you up into his chest and began to 'dance' around your opponents. You yelped when an axe got a little too close.

When you were beside the others Loki passed you on to Thor.

"Protect the midguardian." Loki had demanded before looking to you.

"You, stay out of trouble!" He smirked before involving himself to the main battle.

"I-" you started but cried out when Thor threw you up into the air.

"Oh my god!" You shrieked as your stomach dropped. You know the feeling. Like going straight down on a roller coaster.

You met Loki's wide eyes mid air and then you completed the fall straight into Tony's armored arms.

"I'm going to have a heart attack." You wheezed as you tried to catch your breath.

Tony laughed at you setting you down.

"Try to stay out of danger, Chéri petite!" He warned before blasting off into a different direction.

*Chéri petite should translate to little darling! Or in Google translates case darling little one!*

You sucked in a breath before taking in your surroundings. No one was going to be able to protect you. Glancing around you noted a decorative sword on the other side of the room, so you sprinted towards it. You yelped when something, someone grabbed you though.

Swiveling on your heel you turned and saw one of the creatures gripping your thigh. Shrieking you slammed your palm onto it's face and channeled your fear into it. The creature let out a miserable scream as it flinched back letting you go.

You'd never used your power as a defence before but it did the job. Whipping back around you came face to face with a clone of Loki.

"Shit!" You yelped and jumped in surprise when it stabbed at you.

Stumbling back you fell onto your ass again and scrambled behind the couch as the clone threw a dagger at you.

"Loki what the shit is this!?" You screamed and the man turned in surprise, glowering when he saw the clone.

Sure he had the same ability but this was no clone of his.

You let out another cry when the couch was shoved away and 3 of the critters surrounded you. Turning to your team members you smirked, although it looked more like a grimace.

"Guys! This is not what I had in mind for movie night but talk about live action!" You giggled before turning to your opponents.

"Give me a minute to hype myself up?" You asked and then yelped when one of the things jumped at you.

"Or not!" You dodged and slammed your hand onto it's back. Surging an extra dose of terror into it's spine.

Yelping it wobbled away before collapsing. You'd scared the damn thing to death.

Turning to the other two you ran at them, sliding underneath the one and grabbing it's ankle.

This time you channeled anger at the other one through it. Turning to the second the first one attacked it, tearing it apart.

Breathing heavily you pushed yourself up.

"Okay two down one to-" you screamed as you slammed into the hard floor, your arm being pinned to your back.

"That's a neat trick you have there." The voice hissed careful not to make skin to skin contact with you.

You whimpered trying to see what or who was on top of you. You barely caught sight of the green outfit before the person was knocked off.

"Hands off." You heard Loki snarl before pulling you up into his chest. Then you yelped in surprise when he pulled you behind him.

"Didn't I tell you to stay out of danger?" Loki chastised as he held one arm in front of him, a dagger in hand, and the other behind him as he guarded you.

"Actually you said trouble." You corrected your hands on his back.

Shaking his head he sized up his clone. It matched him so much he may have thought it was a reflection. Maybe it was.

"Lady y/n I'm going to ask you to run to Thor. Think you can handle that?" Loki asked as he pulled out another dagger.

"Probably. Will you be okay?" You inquired.

He nodded and you bit your lip.

"Okay. Be safe!" You whispered wrapping your arms around his waist and then running off to find Thor.

Of course that was easier said than done. Several times you'd tripped or gotten attacked by another monster.

Finally you got sick of everything running at you trying to run you through.

"Fucking hell, STOP!" You screamed throwing your arms out.

Everyone froze. Not because you froze them with an unknown ability. Nope. You just froze them with shock.

You'd pulsed all of your annoyance and fear throughout the whole room.

With everyone frozen you found Thor and ran to him.

"Don't throw me this time!" You huffed and the God nodded still confused.

Glancing around the room you noted at least thirty enemies left. Taking in your surroundings you ran to the left and grabbed a bow and a quiver from one of the fallen.

Nocking the arrow you pulled the string back, surprised at how in tune the bow seemed to be with you.

Shaking off the surprise you aimed at the closest enemy. Letting the string go the arrow flew and hit the creature in the head. Your eyes widened. You'd been aiming for it's leg.

You grinned and nocked another arrow. Aiming at another you aimed at it's chest and winced when the arrow whizzed past and hit a different target in the leg.

At least you still hit something! You yelped when 3 or 4 of the opposing enemies began to run at you. Apparently they didn't like being shot at by humans.

"Thor!" You yelled and ducked when he threw his hammer as you. It quickly flung into the bad dudes turning their heads to goo before flying back into Thor's hand.

"Thanks!" You breathed out as he offered you his other hand, pulling you up.

"No problem, lady y/n." He smiled before going to help somewhere else.

Pulling out another arrow you took a deep breath before nocking it.

"Please please let me be useful!" You groaned before pulling back and aiming at one of the monsters creeping up on Loki.

"Oh no you don't!" You whispered before letting go. Thankfully the arrow his exactly where you wanted it too.

Bullseye!

Quickly you reevaluated the room and noted that there were about 14 left. Then 12. Then 9. The numbers dwindled to nothing and you huffed. Collapsing to your knees you took deep breaths.

Last time this happened you hadn't left your room. Talk about action packed.

Loki scanned the room before finding you and panicked when he saw you on your hands and knees.

Teleporting to you he lightly fretted over you, barely touching.

Looking up at him you smirked.

"I just kicked some serious ass!" You giggled and his eyes widened in surprise before he relaxed.

"You did indeed, little mortal." He smiled brushing some of your hair back.

Grinning you launched yourself into his arms, hugging him.

He toppled over falling onto his back, with you on top of him. Pushing yourself up so you were hovering over him you laughed.

"Kiss me?" You asked and then it was his turn to smirk.

"Of course, M'lady." He purred as he propped himself up on one elbow. Grabbing you by the back of the neck he pulled you down to meet his lips.

You smiled into the kiss. It was perfect considering the adrenaline rushing through your veins.

Then you heard some whoops and cheers, some coughing, and some complaining.

Pulling apart you looked up to see your colleagues with varying reactions.

Rolling your eyes you looked down at the God beneath you.

Looking him up and down you looked him in the eyes before grinning mischievously.

"How about we take this up to my room?" You suggested and the man quirked a brow.

"Anything you want, Dove." He smirked wrapping his arms around you and teleporting away.

Dabi x reader

Burned

Your quirk is a healing ability type. You can heal almost any injury however it does have consequences, but not for the injured. Once you heal a person the pain transfers to you! Similar to phantom pains. If you heal a scrape? Your skin will sting at first but that's about it. However for something more severe, the pain, too, will be more severe. Of course that being said your pain tolerance has become incredibly high! Another con, you can't heal yourself!

"Shit!" You swore as Endeavor threw his arm out, the flames billowing past in a blaze.

"Can you just turn off!" You yelped as you ducked.

The man snarled as he yelled out and tried to hit you again.

You screamed and ran behind a car that was on the street.

"I'm not fighting back! Stop it!" You yelled at him and crawled away toward an alley.

Maybe you could get away if-

You squeaked when the Number 2 hero picked you up by the back of your neck.

"Let me go!" You wriggled around in his grip and choked when you felt his hand heat up on your neck.

"Ouch!" You hissed.

You really wished you had an offensive or defensive quirk, but you didn't.

You weren't like everyone else! And now the number 2 hero was picking on you.

You swore before kicking your legs back, hitting the hero in the stomach and groin. He dropped you to cradle his man bits and torso.

Scrambling to your feet you darted away running into an alley way and ducking behind a dumpster.

Taking a few deep breaths you sat down and held your knees to your chest. You weren't a fighter. You weren't supposed to be. You weren't born to be. Once you calmed down you looked up and then grimaced.

Reaching back you hissed at the pain. You had a hand print burned onto the back of your neck. Then you rubbed your wrists.

Grumbling you pushed yourself up and quietly, but swiftly, you walked to the League of Villains bar. Dabi had told you not to come unless you absolutely needed to but right now, you didn't know where else to go.

When you got there you shifted your weight from one foot to the other. Maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe you should just go home, but what if Endeavor found you?

Before you could make up your mind you jumped when the door slammed open and Dabi stood in front of you throwing his coat on.

He looked ready to tear someone apart until he saw you. You probably could've cried at the sight of him, but instead you ran into his arms.

He held onto you and kissed the top of your head.

"I was just coming for you doll." He whispered his voice rough with held in emotion.

"Are you okay?" He asked pushing you back and giving you a once over.

"I-" you started but he shook his head and grabbed your hand pulling you inside.

"Tell us what happened." He told you after setting you down at a booth.

You looked around and shrank in on yourself. So many eyes on you. So many threatening auras.

"Endeavor." You whispered looking back at your lover.

Then you jumped when someone sat next to you.

"What's up!" The blonde girl grinned putting her arm around you causing you to wince. Her arm had brushed against your neck.

"Toga. Back off." Dabi growled and the girl pouted.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes slipping away.

"Y/n?" Dabi asked you again and you looked up at his eyes.

They were so strikingly blue compared to his scars and black hair. Reaching forward you dragged your thumb across the staples under his eyes lightly.

"I wish you would let me heal those for you." You whispered.

The man scowled, removing your hand from his face, holding it in his own instead.

"Y/n. What happened?" He prompted and you sighed.

"I was walking home. I stopped by a mini mart to grab some things and when I went up to pay I noticed Endeavor outside. I kept my eyes low and didn't look at him but," you paused remembering what had happened.

"But then I realized he was lecturing a little boy about 6. I thought maybe the boy had taken something and that Endeavor was just telling him why he shouldn't. And then I saw the burns." You growled out.

"I dropped all of my things and ran outside and smacked his hands away from the boy. The burns were red and were begining to blister. I- I healed him. Of course, but then Endeavor attacked me. I don't know what he thought it would accomplish but he wouldn't stop." You bit your lip in frustration

"I told the boy to go home, and then I ran." You sighed before rubbing your wrist.

"Anything else?" He asked you as he inspected your hands and arms.

"I kicked the Number 2 in the nuts?" You whispered dipping your head down and jumped when the man snickered.

"Serves him right." He laughed throwing his head back.

You smiled before pulling your hand out of his. Sliding out of the booth you walked over to his side and slid in. Reaching both hands up to cup his face he turned to face you.

You looked at him a loving smile on your face before leaning forward kissing his lips.

They were rough from his scars, and the staples brushed along your chin.

He reached toward you, to place his hand on the back of your neck like he always did, to deepen the kiss. However, he froze when he felt you wince and hiss.

Pulling away he pulled your hair/hood to the side. You felt his anger blaze as he saw the burn mark.

"Doll..." He started and you shook your head.

"I'm sorry, Dabi. I didn't want you to get angry." You whispered leaning into his chest.

He seemed to take that in before wrapping his arms around you.

"Can you heal it?" He asked and you shook your head grimacing at the friction it caused.

"I can't. I can only heal other people." You huffed playing with the his shirt.

He growled at the information, as if he hadn't heard it before.

"What good is your damn quirk if you can't use it to help your damn self?" He groaned as he began to play with your hair.

You laughed as you looked up at him.

"It's good because I can help you! And your friends!" You told him grinning.

He looked away from you before grumbling something about them not being friends, that they were just colleagues, if that.

You shook your head but pulled his face to you.

"My point was I can help you." You whispered and kissed him lightly.

He seemed to relax but still he was careful.

"I know doll. It's just that you're so weak." He laughed flicking your forehead.

Glaring at him playfully punched him in the chest.

"You're weak, too." You countered and he raised a brow.

"That right?" He asked and you nodded.

"Okay. How so?" He took the bait and you smirked.

"You're weak for me." You giggled pointing to yourself and wincing at the phantom pain that shot through your wrists.

Dabi stopped smiling and took your hands, tracing your forearm, under your wrist, your palm, the top of your hand.

Then he looked back up to you and brushed your hair back.

"I don't know what I did to deserve you, Doll." He whispered before kissing you, with tongue. (Wink, wink)

You smiled when he pulled away and then blushed when you heard one of Dabi's colleagues yell to get a room.

Dabi rolled his eyes before pulling you into his lap and kissing you again, flipping off everyone in the room.

You smirked into his lips. The question he should've been asking is what you did to deserve him. At the moment you didn't care as you ran your fingers through his hair. He was yours and you wouldn't have him any other way.

Shoto x reader

Fight or Flight? Fight.

It was supposed to be a normal training exercise. Key word being was. Now your classmates were scrambling around trying to get out of the villains way with 13.

Aizawa had told everyone to go, yet you froze, Deku standing next to you. What kind of hero freezes in the face of danger? Probably the one who doesn't know if they should disobey and fight or obey and run.

Fighting with yourself you heard Iida calling for you and Izuku to hurry along. You turned, but bit your lip. What if Aizawa couldn't hold them off? What if he got hurt after everyone left?

Rolling your eyes you followed Deku. However you let out a gasp when a warp hole appeared in front of you, and a shadow took shape. Pushing past your classmates you reached forward and grabbed Shoto's arm.

The male was tense and jumped at the contact but relaxed slightly when he saw you.

"What's going on?" You whispered to him but the mist spoke up first.

"There is no escape for you." It started and your lip curled up into a sneer.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. We are the league of villains. I know it's impolite but we decided to invite ourselves into this haven of justice to say 'Hello'. And besides isn't this a fitting place for AllMight, the symbol of peace, to take his last breath?" You looked around at your classmates to see their varying expressions but Deku seemed to be in a state of disbelief.

"I believe he was supposed to be here today and yet I see no sign of him. There must've been some kind of change in plans we could not have foreseen. Aah well in the end I suppose it doesn't matter. I still have a role to play!" He said expanding, but then both Kirishima and Bakugou leapt at the mist, attacking it.

"Did you think we were just gonna stand around and let you tear this place to shreds!" Kirishima smirked as the dust dissipated.

You gasped and gripped onto Todoroki tighter as the purple mist surrounded you. You closed your eyes tightly but felt as Shoto gripped onto you tighter.

When you opened your eyes you realized you were standing in Todoroki's arms in the Landslide Zone. Glancing up at Shoto you let go and held his hand instead.

"It looks like their goal was to separate us." You noted and Todoroki nodded pulling you forward.

Following you began to giggle a little.

Turning to face you Shoto raised a brow in question.

"Sorry," you laughed, " I just think it's ironic that they put me, an earth manipulator, in the Landslide Zone. My quirk literally relies on my surroundings." You explained gesturing around.

Todoroki seemed to take that in and then shrugged.

"Could be dumb luck or maybe they just don't know what our quirks are." He told you but then stopped.

Down the slope was a group of villains. You would have panicked but Shoto simply picked you up setting you off to the side and iced the group.

"So the plan was to scatter us and then kill us." He sighed reaching over to you.

"You were wolfly unprepared. In fact it looks to me like you've had no training. You haven't the slightest idea how to use your quirks." He told them as he grabbed your hand and led you down the ice.

One of the villains began to ramble about how Shoto had frozen them the instant they warped there and how he was a monster.

As you walked Shoto seemed to be deep in thought until a couple of unaccounted for villains leapt at you two. One aiming for Shoto and the other for you.

Shoto stepped down and a path of ice formed on the ground before climbing up the first villain freezing him in motion.

You took the second, ducking down and slamming your hands onto the dirt. It quickly rocketed up and formed around the villain in a rocky prison. However his weapon kept going nearly hitting Shoto in the face, but the male calmly dodged and froze both the weapon and the villain who was now enclosed in earth and ice.

"Sorry about that." You apologized and Shoto nodded.

Yanking on the staff it snapped off and the villain toppled over with a cry.

You jumped back before looking at Shoto who seemed worried about something else.

Looking over at the villain Shoto began to inform them of their circumstances.

"Listen well, if you stay frozen your cells will slowly die as your body succumbs to frostbite and hypothermia." He let the words sink in before continuing.

"Luckily for you I wanna be a hero. So I'd like to avoid and unnecessary cruelty." One of the villains had begun to cry as Shoto stepped towards him.

You might've laughed if it hadn't been so terrifying. You'd hate to be on his bad side.

Holding his hand in front of the crying man Shoto threatened him.

"But I can only do that if you tell me how you plan to kill AllMight. That's the only way you'll survive." He warned and you shivered.

Who knew Shoto could be so scary.

"Sho..." You started and stumbled on the ice.

How useless could you be!? Biting your lip you stepped forward.

"I think we should go find the others." You told him putting a hand on his shoulder.

He seemed to growl at the suggestion, shrugging you off.

"Go if you want. I want to get answers." He snapped at you and you flinched back.

"Oh. Okay." You whispered before running away.

Shoto watched you run but turned back to the task at hand.

Running through the different zones you ducked, dodged, and attacked several villains, hoping to reach Aizawa and the others.

A few villains got a few good hits on you, blood was flowing freely from your thigh and it stung as you ran. Your face was bruised from being hit and your ribs ached, probably bruised themselves.

Still though you ran. Finally arriving to the main entrance you saw Aizawa pinned down to the ground. You whimpered at the unnatural angle his arm was bent.

Glancing over you saw Asui, Mineta, and Izuku in the water. Biting the inside of your cheek you noticed that it was just Shigaraki and the bulky creature.

Taking a deep breath you slammed your hands down, still not being seen, and raised two walls of earth, slamming them into the creature. Then you ran forward, grabbing your teacher from underneath his arms, pulling him away. You would have screamed when the creature broke free but Mr. Aizawa was your priority.

Dropping him as softly as you could you summoned a rocky wall in front of him and stood to face the villains.

You were terrified and you'd wished Todoroki would have come with you. Then you shook your head. What kind of hero relied on someone else to fight their battles?

Crouching down you put your hand on the earth and formed a staff. Holding it tightly you glared at your opponents.

Shigaraki snarled at you before commanding the creature to attack. You leapt away, not giving it a chance to attack. It's muscles and height were horrifying and right now you were on your own.

You ran but yelped when the creature did something unexpected. It warped. Suddenly it was in front of you, slamming it's fist into your torso.

Flying through the air your scream caught in your throat. You slammed into the ground, your staff bouncing on the ground and you flying across it painfully.

Landing on your side you tried to catch your breath as the monster crept toward you. Your ribs were more sore then they were before and your ears were ringing. Pushing yourself up your vision blurred.

Reaching up you pressed against your forehead and winced. Pulling your hand back you saw blood. Glaring at the monster you shakily got to your feet.

Pushing your foot forward, rocks jutted out of the ground and raced towards the bulky creature, before slamming into it's face.

Wiping the blood off of your lip you staggered. Walking forward you picked up your staff and glared at Shigaraki.

Running towards him you summoned a wall to obstruct his line of sight and then forged some stairs. Jumping over the wall you landing behind the male, ramming him in the spine with your weapon.

Taking a step back you forced more earth from the ground pinning him. Smirking you pushed your hair back.

"Okay..." You started but then jumped back. The man has disintegrated your walls.

"Shit." You swore slamming your foot down, an earthen hammer flying up.

"Can't you just stay down!" You whined swinging at him.

He snarled grabbing the hammer and it too turned to dust.

"Nomu!" He yelled and suddenly you were in the monsters clawlike hands.

Fuck. You were doing so well too. Now, your connection to the earth had been eliminated. You needed to stay on the ground! You hadn't learned how to control it without touching it somehow.

Kicking and screaming you yelled at the thing to put you down but instead it lowered you towards it's mouth.

"No! I'm not Nomu food!" You screamed and then choked as it crushed your ribs and lungs. Then you screamed so loud your throat was raw. Ever so you swore you heard your ribs crack.

Whimpering you went limp in it's hold. What kind of hero were you? To be taken down so easily? To become so weak after a few measly hits.

Frustrated your willed the earth to slam into the Nomu from all sides. To crush it's ribs like it had done to you. Then it happened. Several pillars rose from the ground slamming into the Nomu. Stomach, back, ribs, skull.

The creature let out a screech and dropped you. You hit the ground hard but stumbled to your feet holding your ribs.

You felt exhausted but could only hope help was coming, and soon. Collapsing to a knee you coughed again, blood splattering the ground in front of you. Your breathing was labored and raspy as you looked up.

The Nomu had broken the pillars now and was stalking towards you. You tried to get up but fell to your knees.

"Fuck," you rasped as your vision clouded.

Glancing up you glared, wishing the thing would just die, but you were to injured to do anything to stop it now.

Collapsing, the blackness covered your vision. The last thing you remembered was Todoroki yelling out for you in desperation.

Shoto had finally gotten the answers he wanted as he ran to catch up with you. He hoped you hadn't gotten to far, or gotten yourself into a situation you couldn't resolve.

He's been a little harsh with you earlier, and hadn't really expected you to leave by yourself but now he was regretting it.

He'd come across some villains who'd been taken down but grimaced at the blood trail he'd been following.

And then he was there and was listening to you scream as your ribs cracked under the pressure of the monster, the Nomu. Then you'd gone limp.

Shoto ran faster hoping to save you but faltered when several pillars rose from the ground slamming into the monster. Then the monster cried out and dropped you.

Shoto winced when you hit the ground and began to run toward you. He needed to protect you. He needed you to be okay by the end of this. He'd only blame himself if anything happened to you.

He was shocked to see you stumble back up only to fall to you knee. Screaming he ran faster, as he noticed the Nomu preying on you. You tried to get up again but then you fell down. You had no more fight and that terrified Shoto.

"Y/n!" He yelled sliding on his ice, hoping to get you you quicker.

"Y/n! Get up damn it!" His voice faltered when the Nomu went to pick you up.

Snarling Shoto threw his arm out, and ice rammed into the Nomu's chest. Sliding next to your body, Todoroki scooped you up and winced at your torn costume.

"Damn it!" He cursed under his breath. Glancing around he saw no immediate help or safety.

Glowering at the Nomu he slid his foot forward and more ice slammed into the monster.

He needed to get you out of harm's way. Now.

Sprinting away he ran towards Izuku. If he needed someone other than him to protect you, Midoriya would.

"Midoriya what happened?" He questioned the male as he crouched down next to the water, you still unconscious in his arms.

"I-" Izuku started but then the entry doors burst open. Dust billowed into the facility.

Looking up Shoto's eyes widened as AllMight walked in. He was relieved but also you needed medical help quickly.

AllMight swiftly rescued Aizawa and then grabbed Izuku, Asui, and Mineta. Telling them to leave with the teacher, they nodded. Shoto gritted his teeth following them.

"Take her with you. She needs help." He begged Tsu who nodded taking you.

Then he went back, staying to the sidelines hoping to help there. He winced when AllMight suplexed the Nomu but gaped lightly after the dust settled.

The Nomu had warped and was crushing AllMight's stomach. His eyes narrowed when Izuku started running towards the hero.

So much for protecting you.

Izuku nearly ran into another warp, but Katsuki quickly blew it out, pinning the Warp Villain to the ground.

Deciding this was his cue to step in he iced the Nomu so it couldn't move. Kirishima went after Shigaraki.

Back to you, Tsu and Mineta were trying you figure out how to carry both you and Aizawa. A few minutes later you woke up groaning.

"What happened? Where am I?" You asked as Tsu helped you up.

"You got KO'd by the monster." Mineta told you and you grimaced.

"And we're heading to the others with Mr. Aizawa but he hasn't woken up." Tsu informed.

"Okay. Okay just help me up?" You asked. Nodding she pulled you to your feet.

Your vision became bright white momentarily and you couldn't see anything but it cleared up quickly.

"Let's go." You winced and began walking. Mineta held Aizawa's feet and Tsu held his top half.

Limping you led them and jumped when Uruaka yelled down to you four.

"Hey! We're all up here!"

Looking up Mineta yelled back asking for help. The others quickly ran down to help.

When they got there Ochaka began to fret over you and Aizawa. Sato quickly took Aizawa from Tsu and Uruaka stabilized you.

"We need to get you guys help." She insisted before lightening your weight and picking you up.

As she ran you looked over her shoulder and winced as you heard glass shatter and AllMight yelling. Tsu was running behind you with Mineta.

Your ribs ached and your head was pounding but all you could think was 'Where is Todoroki?'

When you reached the others you gasped at the sight of 13. She'd been torn apart.

"13!" You cried out as you scrambled out of Uruaka's arms, wincing.

"What happened to you!?" You whispered.

She looked to you and laughed lightly.

"I could ask the same of you, young hero." You grinned at her telling her how you kicked some serious villain ass.

Then the pros showed up. They quickly finished off the other villains, although two in particular got away, but not without some decent damage.

Your friends were quick to help you and Aizawa. Aizawa was taken away on a gurney and you bit your lip worried. Sero put a hand on your shoulder before offering to help you out. You thanked him for the offer and went to decline but then your knees buckled. Sero laughed lightly as he picked you up and carried you outside. When you got there you were looked over by the police and detectives but were ultimately the least of their worries.

Sero set you down gently, asking if you'd be alright. You assured him you would so he went to talk to the others. You thanked him as he walked away and then leaned up against the wall closing your eyes and rubbing your aching ribs. You were 90% sure you shouldn't be moving but the adrenaline was still racing.

You jumped when someone asked if you were okay. Opening your eyes you saw and wall of grass and dirt in front of you.

Oops. You sighed flicking your wrist and the earth shot back down.

"Sorry." You apologized looking up and blushed when you saw Shoto.

"Hey." You whispered and he rushed forward pulling you to his chest, an arm wrapping around your waist and the other holding your head to his shoulder.

You felt him kiss the side of your head as he held you and you wrapped your arms around him.

"I'm okay." You whispered to him but he only held you tighter, causing you to whimper a little.

"I'm still sore though!" You laughed when he jumped back, alarmed.

He let out a deep sigh before pulling you toward him by the back of your neck and kissing your forehead and then he kissed your lips.

You smiled at him and he gave you a relieved look.

"You worried me y/n." He told you reaching to grab your hand.

"Next time you decide to go off on your own, no matter what I say, don't. Please." He asked you looking in your eyes to make sure you knew he was serious, as if he wasn't serious in everything he said.

"Okay." You agreed holding his hand.

Then you limped over to the girls who were just asking about how 13 was.

The detective said that despite her injuries she'd be just fine. All four of you, you, Mina, Jirou, and Momo, let out sighs of relief.

The detective also told all of you that AllMight and Deku were alright too.

You smiled gratefully and hugged Shoto from the side. You were so relieved that everyone was okay.
