UNSOLICITED GATCHA ADVICE NO ONE ASKED FOR!

Hello everyone! With twst launching for Can/US I thought I would give a general idea of what twst is like from the gatcha stand point based on my experience with the JPN server. Note that it is possible that things will be different but based on what I know this is what's I will advise, but it is your wallet and your choice how you spend your disposable income.

1. Chose 3 to 4 faves to roll for, don't pull for every Event SSR

When I first started playing, it was super tempting to pull for every limited time card that came up. But while Twst is far more generous with its gatcha currency then other games -cough Genshin Impact cough- especially late game, it's still better to only save for the characters you really like. For example, I tend to only pull for Jamil, Idia, and Epel then maybe one of the others when I feel like it as a treat. This way i know ill be garenteed those characters because when you hit pity you are only garenteed an SSR not the event SSR (exception being the birthday banners) If you pull for everyone it won't do you any good since pity DOES NOT roll over like it does in some gatchas and you might then want to spend money when you don't have to. Especially since Twst is the kind of gatcha that earns most of its money from licensed merchandise rather then in app purchases (no data to confirm this just based on personal observations could be completely wrong)

If you don't know who a favorite is yet, that's OK! There will likely be time before event banners start (likely with the og beans day first) so you can read the personal stories or R cards or SR cards and even your garenteed SSR in your first ten pull (I'll get back to that). And if your favorites change that's OK too, events rerun so you have a chance to nab the card of your new fav in the next run.

2. Reroll your first ten pull!!!

Your very first ten pull in twst you can reroll since you don't have any in-game currency yet as many times as you want from what I understand. I didn't reroll my original account so I didn't know this, but you won't have to make a whole new account if your fav didn't come up on your first ten pull.

Note though: not all SSR's will be avalible in this opening pull. Only Heartslabyul and Savanaclaw will be featured regardless of what is in the standard banner there after. So don't waste your time pulling for SSR Dorm Vil, he won't be there if the JPN servers are anything to go by

3. Save your AP candy!

As tempting as it is to refill and rush the story by raising your rank, there isn't much of a point. Once you go through the story, you have to wait for the next story update anyway. Instead wait the two and a half hours to do a lesson or even fifteen minute to do a single lesson rather then a set of ten. Your going to want those AP candies during limited time events like Beans Day and Ghost Marriage where you have to do lessons for event currency to earn shop currency. Especially if your like me and arnt always able to pull out your device to do lessons at a drop of a hat and those events are brutal sometimes for how much you have to have done and ready in order to clear the shop.

4. Take advantage of the monthly mystery shop deals

You save gems by getting the shop reset for a ten pull of keys and extra goodies, plus you get free single pull keys by doing your tests (unlocked after chapter 1 if I remember right) so be sure to take advantage of that

5. Have fun!

I believe that's all the beginners advice I have for everyone. Like I said take this all with a grain of salt and as opinion not fact. Spend responsibly if you chose to do so. And I'll add more if I think of more or people just want to know more about my experience with in app play~

He knows they're coming but he thinks it's cute when they try to sneak up on him

He isn't expecting his hat to get snatched though

"Bonjour! I'm Rook, the hunter of love!" They mimic in a horrible accent even if they don't bother to actually speak his normal self proclaimed title in French, all while wearing his hat

He chuckles thinking the whole scene is rather indearing

"Mon cheri, you are simply perfect in your flirting. And my hat, it's simply gorgeous on you," Rook coos. "Perhaps I should get you your own so we may match as a set?"

He takes the hat back while they beam at him before kissing them lightly on the cheek

Trey Clover

Hes backing when it happens and sighs, wondering who he has to lecture for playing a joke this time. He wasn't expecting his angel cake to do it when he sees them now wearing his fedora

"I'm Trey and I bake because if I don't do it then something is getting burned in this dorm." They tease lightly and Trey chuckles

The teasing isn't any different they what his siblings might do

"Very cute Angelcake," Trey says with an eye roll "now give it back."

They give it back with a kiss on the cheek and he smiles while shaking his head. Maybe he should get them a hat like his though? They did look pretty cute

Azul Ashengrotto

"FLOYD WOULD YOU-- oh, Angelfish."

You can't tell me Floyd doesn't constantly annoy Azul like this all the time already. So when his Angelfish does it he's confused as they put the hat on and start mimicking him

"I'm Azul and I'm allergic to breaks." They pout a little and Azul sighs. As good as they looked in his hat he wasn't in the mood.

"Haha, give it back," Azul huffs before snatching it back and putting it on again. "Now go on I promise I'll take a break shortly."

With a kiss on their hand he sends them away knowing he's on borrowed time before they come and force that break

Could I please have some headcanons about Silver, Deuce and Jack dating a catgirl reader? Like, she’s a beastfolk like Leona & Jack & Ruggie, but with cat features? Can be fluff or spice or both, whichever you prefer.

I'll keep this one fluffy just because I don't see how it would affect spice with the reader being a catgirl. Sorry this took so long I hope you enjoy~

Silver

-Silver doesn't think much about dating a cat. Mostly because his father was always sure to teach him to keep his mind as open as possible and mixed-species dating can be a little tricky

-Still, he absolutely loves waking up from a nap and finding you curled into his side, your tail draped over his waist and ears flicking softly as you sleep

-He absentmindedly will pet your ears sometimes if the two of you are lounging together but will apologize after because he didn't mean to be rude

-but if you're ok with it then he starts to do it more frequently, he will also love it if you pet his hair in turn as he sits still to help keep him up (though sometimes it has the opposite effect)

Deuce Spade

-He has so many questions... mostly can he pet your ears, do you purr, and what other cat-like behaviors

-Loves when you start purring as he plays with your ears. It's such a low and soft noise and he just thinks its the cutest thing

-He's ready to fight anyone that says anything about the two of you being in a mixed species relationship. It shouldn't matter and he loves you anyway

-He's so weak to the kitty eyes. If you want him to do anything, just look at him with the big kitty eyes and he is putty in your hands. Use this power wisely.

Jack Howl

-Most people thought the two of you would never get together because canine and feline, but actually, the two of you clicked right away

-He tends to get pretty protective and growls sometimes when some unwanted suitor's presence isn't wanted. But he also feels pride when you hiss in turn in a more protective manner

-Both of you tend to 'groom' each other as you fuss over one another and help straighten the other out

-Absolutely loves it when your tail brushes under his jaw. He doesn't know why, but something about the playful gesture makes him fall a little bit harder every time
