Yandere Straw Hat Pirates Headcanons (Platonic)

The Straw Hats are a really different crew of pirates than the rest. There is no direct hierarchy between them, they respect each other and have affection for each other. Although they obey their captain, there is no tyranny between them but genuine friendship and care.

You were a resident of a small and little-known island in the East Blue, it wasn't really important or rich, so pirate activity was very uncommon there and you were grateful for that. Having grown up and taught that pirates are bad and everyone is a murderer and thieve, you had no desire to meet one.

You were a very calm person and lived humbly and peacefully and liked the way your life was. Until the day pirates arrived on your island. You were immediately alarmed, as were the other residents by their arrival, except that they were not ordinary pirates but the Straw Hats and your life took an unexpected turn.

They arrived and, contrary to the stories your parents told you, they didn't seem threatening or murderous but rather good people. This caught your attention and you were kind to them and even offered them food. Little did you know, that was your biggest mistake.

Their captain, Monkey D. Luffy, found himself attracted to you and he knew he wanted you to join his crew. When you politely declined the offer, he was determined to convince you to accept. He met with the other members and they all agreed with him.

It wasn't easy to get you to accept becoming a pirate, considering you never liked them, but you found yourself attracted to the offer. The idea of being completely free and being able to see the world was what made you accept, albeit reluctantly, Luffy's offer. You have officially become a member of the Straw Hats.

Monkey D. Luffy is very charismatic and funny, kind and a great friend. You adored him and respected him as your captain. Luffy was so pleasant to be around that you never really observed him closely as his actions are quite selfish towards you.

He is selfless, but Luffy still has a selfish side and doesn't want to share his attention with anyone. He is not possessive, but controlling. Luffy wants to know everything about you, where you're going, who you're with and what you've done. He demands to know and will get angry if he doesn't know. Luffy watches over you a lot, not only as your captain, but as his friend. He just wants to make sure that you are happy and satisfied with your friends and, most importantly, with yourself.

Roronoa Zoro, although a little more distant, has a troubled affection for you. He's not close and has that air of arrogance around you, which made you think he doesn't like you. But the truth is that he doesn't know how to deal with you, with the feelings he has. So he thinks it's best to stay away, fearing for his own sanity.

But Zoro can't do it. He wants to be close to you and he will, his main reason is when he feels jealous of your closeness to the rest. He doesn't want to be left aside, so he decides to become close to you. Zoro is possessive and arrogant, he wants to be preferred and feels jealous when someone steals his attention. He's not very easy to deal with, but Zoro knows how to be nice when he wants to be. He is very overprotective and will fight anyone to protect you, including his own friends.

Nami is relaxed and fun, she likes to take you to have fun with her, usually to drink. She is very persuasive and manipulative, you can hardly say no to her. Nami is cunning and doesn't usually get into fights, preferring to let her friends get involved, but for you, she won't care and will get into fights to protect you.

She wants to be your favorite, your number one and the one you go to for comfort or guidance. Nami is very worried about you and cares a lot about your well-being, she gets easily upset when you are sad or angry, and will take satisfaction from anyone who hurt you. However, she will not recognize if she is the cause.

Usopp is very anxious and insecure, although he tries his best not to show it, there is no denying that he feels very bad about himself often and will count on you to pull himself together. He is very sentimental and is easily hurt and will be furious if it is you who hurt him, but will become unbearable if someone makes you sad.

He loses his cool very easily and cries so easily it's ridiculous and Usopp will always go to you for comfort. He values you so much and it will get to the point where he will pretend to be sad just to receive any form of affection from you, he lives for that. He has no qualms about lying to have you hug him or whisper words of comfort to him.

Sanji is calm and rational, always very polite and it is very rare to see him lose his calm. He is very careful around you and loves to load you up with food, cooking your favorites and prioritizing you at every meal. Sanji is very nice and always makes you laugh, loving to hear you laugh or smile. He makes you feel comfortable around him, with his unwavering politeness and calm.

He never acts without thinking and everything he does is carefully planned, especially when it's about you. Sanji is the one who takes care of you the most and is always checking up on you, whether it's listening to you talk or watching you, he never fails and is always calm and smiling. Although he is very kind, Sanji will have no problem having to deal with anyone who dares to harm or hurt you.

Tony Tony Chopper is very kind and attached to you, more than he is to Nami. He is very shy at first, preferring to hide and watch you from afar, fascinated by you but afraid to get closer. He loves to imitate you and takes care of you, especially when you are hurt and need medical attention, often freaking out before realizing he is a doctor.

He is a great friend, very fair and loyal, constantly following you and making sure you are well and comfortable. Although he doesn't feel as comfortable with humans, the affection and care he feels for you is undeniable. He smiles and dances happily when he is praised by you.

Franky loves to flirt with you and does it constantly, even if he is just joking. He loves showing off for you and does it very often, going shirtless around you and trying to get your attention. Franky is a spirit and loves breaking the rules and will try to convince you to break them with him, he is always encouraging you to do what you want without caring what you think.

Although he acts this way, Franky is very protective and kind towards you and knows when to act maturely around you and is always trying to make you smile because he loves your smile. He takes great care of you and is selfless to the extreme, always putting himself first when you are in danger. Franky wants you to be well and happy and he will go to extreme lengths to make sure you are safe and happy.

Brook is eccentric and a shameless pervert and he flirts and hits on you more than anyone and feels no shame or regret in doing so. However, he truly enjoys your company and is kind to you, always prioritizing your wants and needs above anyone else's. He despises meanness and will go against anyone who is mean or acts wrong towards you.

He is very fair and compassionate towards everyone, but when it comes to you, there is an obvious preference and care. Brook is very polite, but he has his limits and will become furious if something happens to you. He has his morals and is empathetic, but that quickly changes when you get involved.

Robin is the calmest of the crew, always calm and reserved, it's impossible to know what she's thinking and she's not as open or transparent as the others. She rarely shows her emotions and this reflects on the way she acts towards you. Robin is very calm in her obsession and no one will be able to notice what she feels for you, her feelings are very well disguised and controlled.

It's very rare to see her lose her cool or get angry and when that happens, everyone gets scared. Robin has become less calm after meeting you and she, although reserved about her feelings, will make a point of taking care of you and showing you all the care and affection she can offer you.

Jinbe is very proud to be a fishman and has great honor. He hates pirates, even though he is one. He has mixed feelings for you, he admires you but hates the fact that you're a pirate and doesn't usually spend so much time by your side, but he cares deeply for you in his own way.

He is not dangerous and will never hurt you or show any violence towards you, he wants to take care of you and will do so in any way he can. Jinbe is very kind and tries his best to make you happy.

The Straw Hats are very overprotective of you and everyone cares and cares in their own specific way, but what they all have in common is the care and affection they have for you. They will fight anyone who thinks of causing you any kind of harm. After all, you are a member of the crew and they will take great care of you.

Life began to feel so boring. The days blended into one another and suddenly we’re in march. Staying up late catching up on your favorite show because there is nothing better to do right now. One piece was such a breathe of fresh air, full of adventure and characters that seem amazing to be around and explore the world with. You wished to be in the world where u can freely be who you wanted, the world where you weren’t shackled by the burdens of reality.

You’ve been around all the corners of the internet so you know of shifting and astral projection which is exactly what seems to be going on right now. Rewatching episodes leading up to the time skip around 4 in the morning till your eyes flutter shut. Suddenly the wafting scent of the ocean filled your nose. “ Is she a stowaway?” “ How have we just found her we haven’t been on land for over a week now”. You opened your eyes to the snout of a reindeer and other very familiar faces.

You sat up so fast knocking into the poor doctor. Panic set through you because the first assumption anyone would have is that they’re in a dream or— congrats you’ve finally lost your damn mind. “ Who are you people”.

“ We’ve got the same question for you”

“ well I asked first”

The blunt part of a sword was thrust into your face by a very angry green swordsman. Fear etched across your face you give him a once over. Zoro. To your left was Robin and chopper holding his snout on her lap. There should be absolutely no reason that you’re in this world with these wacky 15th century pirates from your goofy anime show. Your voice shakes as you try to convince the green haired man to stop threatening your life.

“ Listen this is surely a misunderstanding, I really don’t understand how I have gotten here and I’m not really too sure who you people are.”

Maybe if they think that I don’t know who they are I can figure out a way to get out of this mess without ruining the story.

“ What is your last memory before you woke up on our ship” a voice from behind spoke. Turning to the left at the top of the stairs was Nami with Sanji following behind her.

“ I was laying in my bed falling asleep and then I woke up here”

After that you were bombarded with questions, what’s your name, your age, if an 8ft skeleton can see your underwear and it nearly drained the life out of you. The sun was now beginning to set after such a long day of being interrogated by the crew you used to watch through a screen. The captain was sitting on the head of the Sunny watching the day fade away when he stretched his arm to you pulling you to sit with him.

It was quiet for a while and nerves began to set in. Does he see through me? I know a lot of people don’t give luffy the credit but he’s way more intelligent than you’d think. “ What is it like where you’re from y/n” he spoke as he turned to face you.

“ Very different.”

“ Tell me about it please”

The sun completely faded into night and the stars littered the sky while you told luffy about “ where you’re from” and he was absolutely entranced by the world he’s never been. You ended up telling Luffy the truth about your origins, somewhat about himself, there was just something so compelling and trusting about him you didn’t think nothing of it. You slept in the girls room next to Nami that night, thinking about the next step and getting home.

Was this really a dream or did your desire to escape mundane life make you shift into this world of unknown.

The next day you went to eat breakfast with the crew and luffy starts spouting all the things you told him the night before. With seemingly no thought behind his words as he swallowed everything on his plate, though his crew members all stopped to stare at you in confusion.

“ I thought you said you weren’t from here?”

“ You said you didn’t know how you got here”

“ Well I wasn’t exactly lying, I really don’t know how or why I’ve been transported into your world. I just didn’t want to scare you or make you think I’m crazy with all of this.”

Over the next few days you were beginning to settle with the crew, you spent hours getting to know everyone and having the most fun you’ve had in years. Nami and Robin were curious about your world and you were more than elated to tell them all the things you enjoyed. The boys liked when you played their silly games, Sanji was obsessed with everything about you and loved having you perched on the counter when he was cooking so you can serve as his taste tester.

Zoro only just began to acknowledge you after finding out you also had a love for drinking, it became really easy to bond with the man. You knew you had to go back but what’s the harm in spending time with such a loving group of people, it’s not everyday someone is given your experience don’t waste it being worried.

You were able to convince Nami to give you a blank sheet of paper where you wrote all the things you knew about shifting and astral projection. You’ve been with the crew over a week now spending every night trying to shift back to your world. Sometimes you feel close others are strangely disturbed by Robin and Nami whether they are sparking up a conversation with you or knocking things over which disturbs your concentration.

The next few days you began to see birds meaning you were finally reaching land, the sabody archipelago. You know the way this arch ends and you need to go home now before you spend two years on an unknown island doing who knows what because YOU aren’t a straw hat and you have no place where you can learn to polish your skills.

The bubbly island became visible and you’d be reaching it by midday, while you were sitting on the head of the Sunny with Luffy again he asked you his million dollar question.

“ Y/n join my crew” he smiled. Your cheeks burned and you had to turn away from the boy whose smile brightened all your days.

“ Luffy I would love to but—”

“ Great- EVERYONE Y/N” you clasped your hand over his mouth.

“ Luffy l can’t join your crew. I have to go home I don’t even belong in this world”

“ Why do you want to leave” sadness dripped from his voice.

“ Yeah, we’ve been having so much fun” the small doctor announced from the deck.

“ It has been very fun I’ll admit but I don’t belong here with you guys. I’ve got a whole life in my world— and a family and just so much to do.” You reasoned.

The rest of the day the crew seemed angry and distant, you simply couldn’t understand why. When they all found out where you really came from they said they would help you get home. During dinner that night you were seated between luffy and Zoro who barley uttered a word while hushed conversations were surrounding the rest of the table. It was insufferable and reminded you of elementary school when someone didn’t want to be your friend anymore and told everyone about it.

“ Luffy are you upset with me? I haven’t done anything wrong”

“ Why do you want to leave? You just joined the crew and were on a new island”

“ I never said I was joining your crew luffy”

“ you know the captain doesn’t take no for an answer y/n” Zoro chuckled.

With a huff you stood up everyone’s eyes landing on you. “ Are you all acting this way because you don’t want me to leave?”

“ Why would we want a crew member to leave us?” Nami’s voice wobbled as tears formed in her eyes. Are they serious? When did u ever agree or tell these people that you were a part of their crew.

“ Listen closely all of you. You have to understand I am not from here, I never joined the straw hats, and I don’t even have any powers I can’t protect myself.”

“ That’s why you have me Y/n-chwaaan”

“ ignore that idiot cook but you have Luffy and I, we wouldn’t let anything happen to you”

“ Who is an idiot you damn moss ball !”

A fight between the cook and the swordsman broke out and you would usually find everything hilarious but…

These people have convinced themselves you are one of them and they don’t want you to leave. You decided tonight will be the night where you will go home with or without their help especially because you already know what’s in store the next day. Laying next to Nami that night waiting for her breathing to even out so you can concentrate with no interruptions you hear soft sobbing.

“ Are you alright Nami..”

“ Y/n I know you want to go back but can you stay a little longer we all care about you and enjoy having you around. We really feel like you’re one of our crew mates”

“ Sure, I’m not missing anything important right now” lying is better than letting this girl cry all night. When her breathing finally evened out you were able to try again.

Eyes fluttering open you were finally in your own bedroom. It was just as you left it, your iPad paused on the intro to one piece and the sun was showing through your curtains.

I really did it.

Life began as usual but you had a newfound appreciation for all the little things that made life worth it. Friends and family found your new outlook pleasant and you finally felt like you turned on a new leaf. While you were getting ready for bed applying all of your creams and oils the Tv in the living room turned on.

Wealth, Fame, Power.

A chill ran through your spine, you haven’t watched the show in over a month in fear of being brought back into that world by some odd chance. Getting up to turn off the tv something in the hallway made a noise. The fear of someone or something being in your house had you clenching on the door knob for dear life.

Just open the door nothing is there you’re only scaring yourself.

Opening the door and walking down the dark hallway into the softly illuminated living room the episode of the strawhats finally meeting up after two years was playing.

“ My favorite arch I should rewatch soon”

“ Why don’t you live it instead?” A voice from behind hissed.

You felt your heart thumping in your ears as you slowly turned to be met with a very angry Captain.

The sky was sunny and bright as you casually hummed a song while doing one of your tasks on the ship. While you were working though Luffy, your captain was sitting down on the floor..just staring at you..or more specifically..your stomach.

You could already feel his stare from a mile away but tried your best to ignore it as his eyes followed your every single move.

Finally, he spoke up. His head tilted while wide eyes stared intently at you and your body.

“Hey Y/N? Where’s your big stomach at?!”

Blinking and slowly turning to your captain, you paused for a bit as an uncomfortable feeling started to grow.

“W-What do you mean Luffy?..”

You said softly while genuinely being confused.

Something then popped in your head and sighed. “..wait do you mean baby bump?..what pregnant woman have?..” You then asked while raising an eyebrow.

Only a week ago, Robin had made a joke about you and Luffy being a cute couple and how she guaranteed they you would have the cutest babies.It seemed like Luffy was getting a bit obsessed with the idea because he wouldn’t stop staring at your stomach, or just hugging your waist possessively in general.

Now that you think about it…genuinely for the past week he’s been acting very..persistent about it…

The cheery captain seemed to smile widely at just the mention of ‘baby’ while nodding enthusiastically and glanced at your stomach again.

“Yeah! Shshi!! When’s that gonna come? I want us to be family soon!”

Giving him a puzzled look you slowly looked away and sighed.

“Uhh that’s not how it works luff…” you said, your voice low with a undertone of annoyance and a bit of uncomfortableness as you finally finished your task and leaned against the wall.

It was now Luffy’s turn to be confused as he tilted his head. “Huh?..what do you mean?..I want you to have babies so why can’t you?!”

He asked now with a little annoyance, a dangerous glint hiding behind a pout. There was something about the way his smile quickly dropped when you mentioned you were having a baby yet..You gulped and quickly look away.

“Well luffy we have to go through a certain…process..and I dont think I’m ready to have kids yet y’know?..why don’t we wait until we finally reach our goal until we start thinking about stuff like that hah..” you said with a nervous laugh while slowly trying to hide the fact that your heart was beating very quickly.

Something just didn’t feel right about the way he seemed to react whenever you brought up the way you weren’t really ready for a child. But now..you were actually questioning your choices on if you got on the right ship..

Turning your head back at luffy since you’d been avoiding eye contact the whole conversation, you saw his expression went dark, a shadow covered his eyes while a frown was almost permanently placed on his lips.

Sitting up from his spot you were surprised by how he seemed to look over you and give off a aura you’d never seen or felt before.

All it took was a silent glare from him, his eyes piercing into yours, pinning you in place. He didn’t even have to move In this state to have your feet practically glued to the floor and your mouth running dry.

“Y/N..we’re having a big happy family. It’s a captain’s order..you can’t disobey that you know…we’re saving it sooner or later and there’s no doubt about it.”

Still staring up at him you couldn’t even piece together words together to reply, he slowly got closer to you as he kept his eyes on you the whole time.

“Understand?..”

He said, it wasn’t a question..more like a statement with a bit of a warning to what you would say next.

How could you possibly forget how scary your captain could be..? And how persistent he is to get whatever he wants..

Voice shaking and having no idea what to say you could only just stand there like a deer in head lights. His look was almost expectant as he slowly inched even closer to you..

“Dinners ready everyone!!!”

A voice then shouted from lower deck, you slowly breathed a sigh of relief while you saw the darkness in luffy’s eyes disappear. He looked at you for a few moments, crap! He was still waiting for you to…respond to his statement.

Slowly nodding your head you said nothing. Your head felt dazed and you honestly just needed some space and food to break the tension..

Delicious food was set all around the table as everyone in the crew all gathered around, seeming happy and definitely chatty per usual, Though you couldn’t help but stay silent while getting your plate and the food you desired.

Thoughts were just scrambling through your mind about this mess and luffy’s thoughts..

What was he going to do?

Why did he care so much of having a baby?..

What would he do to make you be apart of his ‘big happy family..?’

Taking a deep breath you say down in one of the chairs at the table and started to eat silently while staring at your plate. You then felt a hand on your shoulder, the hand was graceful and very gentle.

Slowly turning your head to saw it was Nami, she had a somewhat worried look on her face. Blinking a few times you assured her that things were fine and she nodded.

After that for a few minutes you and her engaged in a conversation, everything was going good and finally felt at ease after the whole ordeal with Luffy…

Could you possibly fix things?..yeah! You definitely could! Yea sure he was a bit hard headed sometimes but maybe if you just tell him how you feel then everything would be fine right?

For the last few minutes you talked to Nami and Robin since they were both women of crew also about luffy and his..infatuation. They both agreed with your thoughts and told you to just talk to him, that he just needed a little guidance sometimes because their one and only captain could be an idiot sometimes..

Feeling a new sense of confidence wash over you while you put your dish away you walking out of the dining area on the ship and towards the deck, finally ready to talk to Luffy about this little mishap.

Matching up to him with an almost proud smile, he grinned at you. Wrapping his stretchy arms around you with a grin.

“Hey Y/N! Zoro and Sanji told me how to make babies! You ready?!”

Slowly narrowing your eyes to the green haired swordsman and the cook you glared at then and they seemed to catch it. They looked surprised at your glare that was clearly saying: why did you tell him you idiots?!?!

Sighing as you looked back up at Luffy you frowned.

“Uh yeah about that Luffy….I don’t want kids..I’ve already made up my mind and I know you really want them but I just want you to understand that I’m not ready..at least right now..we can just wait! It’s cute…in a way that you wanna have kids so soon but..it’s just not gonna happen..”

..

Silence..he went silent and stared at you blankly.

Slowly he got back to moving and let out an exaggerated sigh, running a hand across his face.

“Y/N..come onnn..this isn’t funny anymore..hurry up and let’s just make babies already!!” He Said rather loudly, causing you to get a little fed up.

“Ugh! No Luffy! Please just get it through your head that I DONT want kids right now!! Please stop asking!!”

A frown appeared on his face again as he went silent.

Rolling your eyes you were about to say more, until he grabbed your hands forcefully and pulled you away from the deck.

Eyes widening at his tight grip and the sudden action you tried to pull away but that of course was rendered useless since this was the future pirate king we’re talking about.

Bringing you to his captains quarters he threw you on the bed, slamming the door and locking it with a soft and quiet sigh.

Slowly stepping closer and standing over the bed he hovered over you with an almost blank expression as he grabbed the both of your hands and put them up forcefully with his strength.

“Luffy! Stop this!! I-It isn’t funny!!! I’m being serious!”

Saying nothing he got the bed and quickly started to undress you. Slowly, he ran his hands across your body. Down to touch and rub every shape and size of it..

Your eyes widened at what was about to happen as you slowly looked up at him fearfully. He looked up at your face finally….and smiled cheerfully. The smile you thought was sweet..pure and charming..

“Don’t worry Y/N! This won’t hurt..by the end of this..we’ll be a big happy family! After all..you’re All Mine..”

Straw hats x reader: How it begins hc

-you first meet the straw hats when visiting a town, looking for a place to work and have stability.

-today was your first day of your job, after a lot of convincing that you could handle the tough activities you’d be paid to do.

-your large figure definitely drew eyes but it wasn’t what caught the crew’s attention.

-nope. It was the absolute unit of a massive tree you were carrying with one arm while the other was occupied by a cart full to the brim with logs that would normally be pulled by 4 horses.

-it wasn’t hard to miss either with every town dweller making space for you while side eyeing you nervously.

-Luffy was the first (and at the moment only person) to approach you with such enthusiasm.

-it surprised you for sure, but you tried to mimic half the enthusiasm out of politeness.

-“greetings sir, lovely weather we’re having?”

-“it’s really cold actually.”

-his bluntness was another little surprise, but you found it amusing nonetheless. It’s nice to have a friendly chat with someone for once, outside of work, of course.

-speaking of, you couldn’t stay too long, and although you could hold these logs all day, you’d rather not waste time.

-so you leave him be, thinking it’d be the last time you two would speak.

-well you were wrong.

-This time you’d meet the straw hat’s crew consisting of a red head navigator, a long nosed sharp shooter, a blonde chef, a mossy green swords man, and a cute little reindeer.

-turns out their boat was a little worn, nothing too expensive, but definitely wouldn’t survive the places they’d be going.

-the swordsman, reindeer, and the long nosed man were skeptical when meeting you, the deer and long nose were for fear reasons, the greenie was mostly suspicious but also somewhat uninterested.

-you didn’t find this weird though, you were use to it, however you didn’t know that they were judging your every move because their captain put you on the “going to make my nakama” list.

-gotta make sure your future crewmate isn’t bad news, y’know?

-after they hang around, waiting for their ship to get some small repairs, some of the crew members eventually start talking.

-the blonde chef man was one of the first (other than Luffy) to actually introduce himself. He was very courteous, always offering to bring you and the red head a drink even after you declined politely the 5th time.

-the skittish man and deer would test the waters, waiting for Luffy and Sanji to start the conversations before getting comfortable enough to have small chatter.

-Chopper was pretty happy to not be called a little dog for once, and appreciated you not treating him like… an animal? Even though he is technically an animal, he appreciates not getting treated as less…

-and Usopp found a lot of what you are working with fascinating, adding his own tidbits and insights about certain tools you were holding in that moment.

-you knew nothing of what he said.

-although it seemed like it, you weren’t an engineer, but you were useful when it came to positioning hard-to-move parts.

-but despite not looking at them as you held a large, heavy beam for another coworker to hammer on tight, you listened carefully and answered every other question.

-you were actually pleasant to talk to.

-each day, the crew would get comfortable, hanging out in the ship area to overlook the process despite the town having more than enough activities.

-you weren’t sure why they would hang out here when there wasn’t much to do other than to watch, but you appreciated the company.

-the red head did leave to check out the shops the first few days, but she did get to talking to you, and she mentally regretted not talking to you sooner.

-you were so nice despite doing all this work, getting your ear talked off, and she actually felt heard. You understood her frustration with the men throwing away money getting everyone into trouble.

-it was nice to be around someone who isn’t yelling 24/7 despite being within earshot.

-then you reach the last day.

-the goat boat is finished with some nice touches.

-you’re prepared to send the crew their way, telling them the ship was in good condition thanks to your coworkers before Zoro finally speaks to you directly.

-“why not go out for a drink, eh? A little thank you for helping with the ship.”

-you almost decline, saying you only move stuff around when the others start to chime in enthusiastically.

-“yeah! I wanna go eat at that restaurant I spotted near the food market area! It’s fun chatting with you and we don’t wanna leave without a send off!” Nami said with a lot of cheer in her voice

-“plus… I’ll pay.”

-well shit. When she puts it like that…

-you accept, while she turns to tell Zoro that the feast would be added to his tab.

-he didn’t like that.

-anyways, y’all go and get drunk and fueled up.

-Zoro challenges you to a drinking contest, which you accept out of politeness (much to the dismay of the other more sane crew members).

-much to their shock, you actually out drink Zoro.

-he’s heavily drunk but is conscious enough to not pass out or make a completely stupid decision.

-and you sat there, only buzzed.

-“it’s genetics.” You dismissed.

-it wasn’t a lie, it definitely was, but it wasn’t naturally occurring…

-anywho! You’re just about ready to leave to get back to your workplace to catch some sleep when Luffy stopped you.

-you know what comes next…

-“become my Nakama!”

-you sit there, almost stunned.

-how do you answer that???

-“…no?”

-cue the silence.

-“…you don’t wanna be our friend?” your veins completely iced over when the little deer looked at you tearfully.

-“n-no- I mean I enjoy being your friends, but I just started a job here.”

-“the job where you only follow orders and do nothing else? Sounds boring.”

-there’s the bluntness once again. Typical Luffy.

-but it does make you uncomfortable for a few different reasons…

-“it doesn’t seem like much of a life if I’m completely honest. It doesn’t seem like others are interested in having a conversation with you outside of work”

-Sanji immediately snaps at Zoro for the comment, but you did take in what he said.

-you listened. And you knew it was true.

-this job… wasn’t really what you wanted. You escaped with the intention to never follow orders like a trained dog ever again.

-you only wanted it because you needed to have… something.

-so you find yourself mildly convinced.

-mildly.

-“you have enough beds, correct?”

-it really didn’t take much convincing, did it?

-so there you all went, sailing into the unknown. Not knowing just what a mistake you may have made from simply giving in to the smallest of pressure…

Synopsis: Y/N has an itch, and itch that can’t be reached because of an unspoken threat opposed to them.

The sun beamed brightly on your skin as you looked about the vast blue ocean. You don’t remember exactly how long it’s been since you’d first met them, you couldn’t bring yourself to care anymore. This world was so different in every way, even the air it was more, pure. You felt like you’d been dreaming or maybe you died and finally went to heaven. You’d gotten to escape the hell that is ‘ mundane life ’. No school, tests, homework, parents creeping over your shoulder. No worries anymore… right?

You hated when you thought about things like that. You wanted to just be free and grateful but every now and then you missed it, got homesick, and your new friends always noticed the shift. You’d go from laughing and playing to sitting on the edge of the deck staring blankly at the sky or the sea letting your mind race, thinking of the life you once had.

“ Y/N come, we’re having lunch !”

You looked over your shoulder and smiled, that was your captain, you wanted to be more like him. He was the epitome of freedom and he was always filled with joy, you couldn’t remember a single moment where he wasn’t like that. Of course, there were times where he was different, when his energy shifted, it made the rest of the crew different as well. That’s why you didn’t like to get in your head, those were the times where Luffy and the crew reminded you of predators.

You laughed at the thought, how silly and imaginative you were. That’s what Robin would say whenever you came to her about your feelings. The rest of the crew also shared a laugh when you’d talk about feeling home sick.

“ Y/N how are you homesick? You’re right at home with us, silly!”

You’d laugh along and continue whatever you were doing but there was always, always an itch in the back of your mind. The itch that wanted you to question things more, the itch that wanted you to go home, not your home with the crew but the home where you were studying to become an artist at FIT, the itch that the face you look at in the mirror wasn’t really the face you’d been staring at for eighteen years, the itch of danger when you asked too many questions.

That itch that could only be soothed by full on distraction. That itch made you want to scratch your skin raw, the feeling of your throat being clogged like you were sick because you couldn’t reach it.

The crew was good at keeping you sedated, the captain held you close on the head of the ship, the navigator ran you baths filled with rose petals to help you sleep, the cook made you desserts and fun drinks with little umbrellas, the doctor didn’t need to put any effort besides smiling and crawling into your arms, they all did their part. They all did whatever they had to in order to keep that itch from invading your veins and disrupting the life they worked so hard to build.

You were eating comfortably now, lunch was great as always and your thanks always went to the cook. He was sweet and handsome, he was a prince but you can’t remember exactly why you knew that. Why did you know so much about these people that you met not so long ago? Why did you so eagerly leave your island, your home to be with them? There it goes again, it was only gone for a short time before it came back, that itch.

You didn’t know what face you were making but with the way the swordsman was glaring at you it wasn’t a good one. “ Y/N let’s spar in the crows nest, you’ve finished your lunch right?” You looked across the table and finally met eye contact with him, he was trying to communicate with you, this wasn’t new. You nodded and stood up bringing your plate to the sink and following him out.

Zoro was a little different from the rest of the crew, your itch never bothered him but he never responded to your questions the way you wanted him to. It was like he was speaking in code, at times you wished you were as smart as Robin because you couldn’t tell if your were misinterpreting what he was saying.

“ Patiences is a virtue ”

“ You keep letting them see you this way,”

“ I can’t help you if you don’t at least try ”

Or when he would tap your shoulders to silence you, because someone was listening just outside the door.

Fear.

You were so disoriented and it took you a while to realize the emotion that ran rampant through your body was fear. Fear of what? Why were you so afraid? Why does nothing make sense? You were so happy to be here. To be traveling on such a vast ship with your friends, discovering islands and uncovering history itself.

“ Y/N today I want to teach you something new.”

You looked up at the swordsman again as you walked up the stairs to the crows nest, you felt eyes drilled onto the back of your head so you answered him, in code of course.

“ That’s great, I always like something new.”

He gave you a smile. It took you a while but it seems you finally understood him, he was thankful. Anymore time and you would’ve been caught. Hours went by and the sun began to fade into a bright red hall in the sky, the fish tank had become more illuminated as day turned to night. When you took your break you stared at them, the way they swam aimlessly back forth.

“ Do they remind you of yourself?” He inquired.

You looked to him— oh right his name is Zoro, Roronoa Zoro. You smiled and nodded, “ Yeah, a little. What about you?” He nodded and you both continued to stare at them.

Zoro was known to have a hard exterior, never speaking too much, never laughing or smiling.. but that was t true at all? Why did people think that? Who thinks that?

Strange. But, what’s new.

When you were alone with him that exterior cracked, his features softened and he wasn’t on guard like he usually was in front of everyone else. The crows nest was his safe haven, he was protected from wandering eyes. Not just from his crew mates but the eyes of anyone who could spot him when he was on the deck of the ship.

You felt lucky to be able to see this side of him, the side where he wasn’t Luffy’s right wing, the side where he wasn’t worried about his friends livelihood. Of course he showed this side to the doctor on board, it was like he was an older brother to him.

That night you went to sleep comfortably, Zoro had brought you serenity and calmed your nerves. Tomorrow was going to be the same, but as the days goes by you were comfortable enough to say that if you truly had anyone it was him.

Your mind was settled but in your dreams you were someone else. They were familiar, you knew the places in your mind like the back of your hand.

“ Y/N if you can hear, please, come back to us.”

Platonic Yandere Whitebeard Pirates and Strawhats (they're Yandere for the Strawhats)

You mean, the Whitebeard's inherit Ace's attitude for his younger brother but extended to his whole crew, lmao?

Things certainly get interesting. They're not used to letting people go off on their own but for the Strawhats, that's kind of integral to their identity. It's so important for them to run free. It'll be a struggle to maintain the distance needed for them to challenge the world in their own right without another Yonko crew literally looking behind them.

It likely ends up with a lot of check ins and coincidental run ins. Just to make sure they're having fun and aren't genuinely in too much danger. They're very proud of how far the Strawhats have come after all, and would never want to take that away!

But if trouble too big comes knocking, the WBP are ready to knock back.

Lucky Break Chapter 5

Yandere Straw Hats x Fem!Reader

A partial night of rest did little for you. Your head was still killing you, and the dreamless, fleeting sleep did nothing to aid in jogging your far away memories. 

Nami was kind enough to let you stay in her boat for the rest of night, and you were still on it this morning. You didn't feel confident in your ability to cross boats again now that the wind had picked up and the waters were slightly rougher. The last thing you wanted was to fall into the ocean again right after getting a change of clothes. 

You watched with mild amusement as Nami and Luffy bickered about the Grand Line. Well, Nami was bickering. Luffy was dismissing everything. 

“How do you expect to so much as make it into the Grand Line as you are? You have no supplies, no ship, and only two people. You're even more insane than I thought you were if you think that's a good idea.” Nami returned her attention to the map in her hands, muttering under her breath about pirates being a nuisance.

Luffy shoved the rest of the apple he was eating into his mouth, core and all. Cyanide poisoning be damned. He did appear to at least be taking her words into consideration, which was an improvement. “Yeah, we're going to have to get some meat before we go.” 

You snort at the exasperated look Nami shoots him. Of course that was what he was hung up on. Luffy cooked his head to the side, “And what do you mean I only have two people? There's four of us.”

“I am not a part of your crew, this is just a temporary alliance. I'm not about to sail into the Grand Line with anybody, much less someone as in over their head as you are.” Nami pointed at you, “And Lucky doesn't count. She doesn't even remember her name, what are you expecting her to do?”

“What's that got to do with anything? She doesn't need to remember her name to be my crewmate.”

“She's got a gaping head wound! She needs to see a doctor, not get dragged into the most dangerous place on the planet by a delusional captain!” Nami picked up and chucked an apple at his head. An extremely ineffective attack given that he just opened his mouth and ate it whole like some sort of snake-person.

“Maybe we'll find a doctor on the next island, and then she’ll be good to go.” Luffy perked up, “Are we getting close to one yet? I want to get some food.”

The navigator's eyes flitted back down to the map. She still looked annoyed but answered his question, “Yes, we should be at the Gecko Islands soon.”

Luffy cheered and whirled around on his perch to stare into the distance. You followed his gaze and saw a speck of an island in the distance. Being on solid ground again sounded lovely. The unsteadiness of being on a constantly rocking boat felt extremely unnatural to you. Based on that, you felt safe in assuming that you had never spent a prolonged period of time at sea before this. 

And of course, you were looking forward to the possibility of seeing a doctor and having your injury inspected and cared for by a professional. Zoro definitely needed to see a doctor, too, what with his stab wound. 

Though, as you glanced at him, he appeared to be entirely unbothered. The only thing that even hinted at what had happened was the hole and bloodstain in his shirt. Other than that, he seemed fine. Shit, maybe he can sleep off stab wounds. If only you could do the same for your injury.

Luffy kicked his legs in excitement as the island drew closer. “We can get supplies here, and maybe even a new ship! Oh! We might even get some new crewmates! We're going to need a cook before we get to the Grand Line. And a musician.”

Having a cook around made sense, though you were more than a little baffled at him prioritizing a musician over a doctor. Well, whatever. He’s the captain, not you. He can recruit whoever he wants, and you’re sure that he will. Especially considering how much he’s been brushing off Nami stating that she isn’t a part of the crew.

The two boats hit sand as you finally make it to the island. You’re at some empty beach far away from the docks. Nami insisted that this would be for the best considering that her ship has Buggy’s jolly roger plastered over the sail. You jump off the ship and help pull them further onto the beach to prevent them from drifting away.

Being on solid land feels just as good as you had expected. The sand has a give to it, of course, but it isn’t constantly rocking back and forth. You stretch as you scan your surroundings. The beach is boxed in by cliffs, with a manmade walkway leading into a lightly packed forest that helps to hide your ships further. Someone would have to go out of their way to find you guys here.

“The village isn’t far from here, right?” Luffy was looking around excitedly, no doubt eager for a chance to stretch his legs. You were, too. The island appears to be normal and peaceful. It’ll be nice to explore a town without a bunch of pirates in it… you guys notwithstanding, of course. 

“Yes, it shouldn’t take long to get there,” Nami answered passively while scrutinizing the map in her hands. “I wonder where we could find a ship.”

“We’ll worry about that later. Let’s find a place to eat first!” Luffy was actively drooling as he spoke. You’re not sure how anyone can be so hungry after eating what you’re pretty sure was in the ballpark of twenty apples, but you aren’t about to try and get between him and food.

Nami pushed him out of her face harshly, “Would you stop talking about food for five seconds?!”

Your attention was drawn away from them as you saw movement up on the cliffs. You squint and see several bushes rustling from what you’re assuming is some local wildlife. Zoro unsheaths a sword behind you and steps forward.

“Careful… I think we have company.”

That catches everyone’s attention. Nami tenses and steps back while scanning the forest herself, while Luffy is visibly excited about whoever could possibly be here. To you, Zoro seems to be over reacting. It’s more than likely just some animals running around, you’re not sure why he’s instantly jumping to this being an ambush or something.

Then someone starts shooting at Luffy’s feet. Perhaps Zoro was onto something. He scrambles to get out of the way while Zoro rushes forward to help. Before you even have a chance to react, Nami grabs you by the collar of your shirt and drags you back to the boat before shoving you into it and climbing in beside you to take cover. You cough and gasp as she releases your shirt.

The attack stops, so you and Nami peer over the side of the ship to see what’s going on. Luffy and Zoro appear to be fine, thankfully, but now a bunch of flags are popping out of the bushes. All of them have the same jolly roger on them. Ah. So much for you thinking that this island was pirate-free. You just hope none of them have any weird-ass super powers to contend with.

This display does nothing to intimidate Luffy, who by all accounts seems to be having a grand time watching this. A boy suddenly emerges from behind a tree, looking extremely pleased with himself. Some of the tension leaves your body as you are distracted by the fact that this kid has the longest damn nose you’ve ever seen. You didn’t think that was physically possible. You shake your head, reminding yourself that now is not the time to be getting distracted by appearances.

Long-nose crosses his arms and puffs out his chest proudly. “I am Captain Usopp! Leader of the pirates who reign over this village! I’ll have you know that everyone here fears me as much as they sing my praise! Which is a lot!” He gestures behind himself with a dramatic flare, “Go ahead and forget about attacking this village, it’s under my control! Me and my eighty million subordinates won’t let you get far!”

Eighty… Eighty million? You and Nami share a sideways glance at each other. That seems… a touch far fetched. The island doesn’t appear big enough to hold even one million people, much less eighty million plus the villagers. Now that you think about it, It’s odd that he didn’t name drop his crew. He just called them “the pirates”. You let out a sigh and slump against the boat, relieved that this appears to just be some display rather than a real threat. Nami pinches the bridge of her nose, looking annoyed more than anything, and Zoro puts his sword away with a huff.

Luffy, meanwhile, is star-struck. 

“If you’re going to lie, at least make it believable!” Nami calls out to him.

Usopp gasps, stumbling back in shock, “How did you know?!”

Nami rolls her eyes, “And now you’re admitting to it this easily? You’re terrible at this.” She climbs back out of the boat, and you’re quick to follow suit. You glance up the cliff to see Usopp beating himself up for failing miserably at his intimidation attempt. 

He whips back around to face all of you again, trying desperately to save face. “Well, maybe I was exaggerating a little bit, but I can assure you that I do have some very powerful men at my disposal!” He points at a cluster of bushes not far from him. Unlike the rest of the flags, the ones coming out of the bushes were moving, implying the presence of at least a few people. 

Still, those bushes weren’t particularly huge. You can’t imagine that there were that many people hiding in them. You squint, “What? Like three people?”

The literal second you say this, precisely three people spring out of the bushes looking aghast at your accurate prediction. These “powerful men” looked to be a bunch of kindergarteners, who screamed in terror and ran away immediately while Usopp yelled after them not to leave him here alone. Another impressive victory under your sword-belt, you suppose.

Luffy looks at you in awe, “How did you know?”

All you offer him is a simple shrug and say, “Lucky guess?”

Nami sifts through the sand and pulls out some tiny pellets. She examines them with absolutely no sense of urgency. “Huh. I’ve never seen a pirate captain use a slingshot before.”

Usopp gasps and clutches his chest in offense, “What’s that supposed to mean? Don’t insult me!” He pulls a slingshot from his bag and takes aim at her. Nami stares at him blankly. “I have a lot of pride in my weapon! So much so that people call me ‘Proud Usopp’!”

You’ll give him this much: he doesn’t abandon the bit easily. You call out to him, “By people, do you mean yourself?”

Now Nami’s comment didn’t seem all that bad to him. Usopp changed positions to aim at you instead, “Many people call me that! In fact, they call me ‘Proud Usopp’ more than ‘Captain Usopp’ because they’re that impressed by my pride!” He pulls the leather pad holding another pellet back further. “Behold! You’re about to see that my slingshot skills can put a pistol to shame!”

Given how many other things he’s lied about or exaggerated greatly, you aren’t scared. The pellets that he shot at Luffy had some oomph to them, sure, but comparing them to bullets fired from a gun seems excessive. Getting pelted by some pellets is hardly going to be the worst injury you’ve endured.

Before Usopp can decide if he really wants to fire at you or not, Luffy steps in front of you with the brim of his hat pulled down over his eyes. His voice drops to a surprisingly low tone as he addresses Usopp seriously for the first time, “Now that you’ve drawn your “pistol”, you’ve put your life on the line.”

Both you and Usopp gawk at Luffy. Usopp was clearly scared by the sudden mood shift, and even you felt a chill run down your spine. You’re so used to seeing Luffy be carefree and goofy that hearing him openly threaten someone in a genuinely intimidating fashion has completely thrown you for a loop. On top of that, you feel confused. Nothing about this scenario feels heavy enough to warrant this kind of a response.

“You don’t use those to threaten people.” Luffy makes a show of loudly cracking his knuckles while maintaining intense eye contact with Usopp, who is now looking like he’s really regretting his previous actions.

Zoro grinned and stepped forward, just barely unsheathing a sword, “You’re dealing with real pirates now… Are you prepared for that?”

This is escalating quickly. You lean over to Nami and whisper, “Should we stop them?” 

Nami did not share your concern. She examined her nails, barely even sparing you a glance, “No. He’ll lose his nerve before it gets to that.”

For a long, tense moment, there is silence as Usopp is stared down by Luffy and Zoro. Then, just as Nami predicted, he caved. The pellet slipped out of the slingshot and onto the ground. Usopp fell to his knees immediately after, looking thoroughly shaken up from the exchange. His hand clutched his chest as he muttered about how much scarier the words of real pirates are.

Mercifully, the tension dissipated instantly. Luffy dropped the disconcertingly serious look from his face and laughed loudly. “I stole that from Shanks! Your dad is Yassop, right?”

Usopp reels back at that question. “You know Shanks?! Wait- You know my dad?!” He clambers forward, but he isn’t paying attention and tumbles right over the side of the cliff. He rolls the whole way down, landing ass-first at the bottom. You wince, swearing that you felt some of that. The fall does little to deter Usopp, who quickly gets to his feet and stumbles closer to Luffy. “Yassop is my dad, but how did you know that?”

Luffy opens his mouth to answer, then stops abruptly. “I’ll tell you, but you have to take us to the nearest place to get food first.”

The deal was immediately accepted by Usopp, who nodded eagerly, “There’s a tavern not far from here, I’ll show you the way!”

Luffy followed close behind, cheering at the promise of food. How he intended to pay for it, you weren’t entirely sure, but who were you to ruin his excitement? No one else seemed concerned about the financials of this meal, so you suppose you shouldn’t be either.

Zoro casually trails behind Usopp and Luffy, while you and Nami were at the back. You two walked in silence while you mulled over something. This wasn’t the first time you’d heard the name Shanks. You can recall hearing the name thrown around while Luffy was duking it out with the clown-guy… Bucky? Boogie? You shake your head. That doesn’t matter.

Was Shanks someone important? Or was he coming up a lot purely through a series of coincidences? The name wasn’t ringing any bells for you, but given that you couldn’t remember your own name, that really wasn’t saying much. There’s only one way to find out the truth about him.

“Hey, Nami?” You wait for her to glance your way, acknowledging your inquiring tone. “Who’s Shanks?”

Her eyes widened, “You don’t know who Shanks is?”

You raise a hand and tap near your head wound, only to flinch at the pang of pain that shot through your head from that action. Oh, that was stupid. 

Nami sighs, “You really don’t remember anything if you don’t even recognize his name.” Her face turns to a sneer, “He’s some bigshot pirate that’s worked his way up to being an emperor.”

The answer only served to confuse you more. “Emperor? What does piracy have to do with being one of those?”

“It’s just a title, he isn’t a literal emperor.” She waves her hand dismissively, “Don’t think about it too much. The less you know about pirates, the better.”

Aren’t you kind of a pirate now? At least by association. Not to mention that you’re traveling with two of them. Something tells you that Nami wouldn’t care for you pointing that out, so you continue to walk beside her in silence.

A large wooden sign with the words “Syrup Village” is sticking out of the ground once you’ve walked through the small forest. The village itself was small and quaint, possessing a sort of rustic charm that made it feel homey even if you've never been here before. Unlike Orange Town, this place was clearly populated. The local villagers milled about, going about their daily routines. It was a pleasant change of pace. 

Usopp beckoned all of you into a small tavern. There weren't any customers inside, just an elderly man sitting behind a counter, and what sounds like a small staff in the kitchen. 

“I have a lot of influence here. Go on and take a seat, I can handle the rest.” Usopp hurried over to the old man and started giving him some spiel about how you guys were a part of his crew, and thus, deserved only the best. The old man didn't even look up from his newspaper, but was nodding along anyway.

Nami picked out a booth for you all to sit at. Zoro slid in next to her, while you sat at the bench across from them. You glanced over to see Luffy sticking his head into the kitchen, apparently having not listened when Usopp insisted on handling everything. He was demanding an obscene amount of food, more than you thought all of you could reasonably eat in a week, much less one sitting.

As soon as he was done ordering enough food to make it feel like its own lunch rush, he bounded over to your booth and plopped onto the bench next to you, visibly elated. Usopp joined a moment later, dragging over a chair so he could sit at the head of the table. 

“So, how do you know my dad?” Usopp was staring at Luffy expectantly. 

Luffy perked up, “Oh, right. He was a part of Shanks’ crew, I saw him a lot growing up.”

Usopp's jaw dropped. “He's a part of Shanks’ crew?!” He kicked his legs under the table, a dreamy look on his face, “So that's where he's been.”

You quirked a brow at that statement. He didn't know where his own dad was? Did they never see each other? Or at least talk once in a while? You're surprised he doesn't look more bitter about it. You think that you would be if you were him. 

There's a pang in your head, and your eyes go fuzzy for a moment. It's a sharp pain right behind your eyes. You put your face in your hands and massage your temples, trying to will away the pain and cloudy vision. 

You're startled slightly when you feel someone lightly kick you under the table. You pull your face from your hands only to find Zoro staring at you questioningly from across the table. 

“Everything alright?” His face was casual, so much so that it could be mistaken for disinterested, but it felt like his eyes were staring into you.

“I'm fine, I'm just… hungry.” Complaining about a headache felt childish, so you kept it to yourself. These people are being needlessly kind to you, you don't want to start annoying them and risk making them change their mind. 

Zoro stares at you hard, and you get the impression that he doesn't believe you. He sighs and brings a pint of beer up to his mouth, “Well you better eat something quickly before Luffy gets it all.”

Hang on. You look at the table and finally take notice of the drinks and plates of food on it. When did these get here? You thought you only had your head in your hands for a few seconds… how did you not even hear the dishes being set down?

You really need to see a doctor. 

A plate of food and some water are slid to you by Zoro, who apparently thought you were taking too long to make a move. You mutter a quiet thanks and gulp down some water before digging into the food. Hopefully having something of substance in your stomach would make you feel better. 

Something was tickling at the back of your mind, but not clearly enough for you to make anything of it. The faintest whisper of a voice and a bizarre feeling of empty loneliness hung over you despite being surrounded by people. The responsible thing to do would be to focus on the essence of a memory that was trapped beneath the surface of your mind, begging to come forth. You should be trying to bring it to the front and realize it for what it was. But… apparently the person you're supposed to be isn't one for responsibility. You shove more food into your mouth and push the thought down. That memory didn't feel very pleasant. You try to focus on what’s going on around you instead of that.

The table is lively, unlike your foggy mind. Luffy is happily recounting childhood memories of Yassop while Usopp hangs onto every word of it, completely rapt in the stories. Luffy is also choking down an obscene amount of food at a cornering rate. You're not sure he's even chewing any of it given how fast he keeps going back for more. No wonder Zoro was insistent on you eating sooner rather than later. Another minute of hesitation and you would have been shit out of luck.

Nami finishes the rest of her drink and levels Usopp with a stare, “Say, you wouldn't happen to know where we could get a ship around these parts, would you?”

“A ship?” Usopp hums in thought for a moment, then stiffens up. “I wouldn't know anything about where to get one of those. This is a small village. We don't even have many ships passing through, much less up for grabs.”

“What about the people living in that mansion up on the hill?” Zoro nodded his head in the direction of it. The large home was in clear view from where all of you were seated. “Surely someone in a house like that has at least a few caravels at their disposal. Maybe more.”

Dishes clatter on the table as Usopp abruptly stands up and slams his hands down. “You can't go there!” His shout and sudden mood change startles everyone. Just as quickly as he became upset, his face dropped into a more bashful look. “Oh, would you look at the time! I have very important business to tend to, bye!” And with that, he sprinted out of the building, only reappearing briefly as he sped past the window. 

What was that all about?

Nami sighed sharply. “What's got him so worked up? He ran out of here so fast that I just barely managed to grab this,” she held up a small, leather wallet. 

“Nami!” You attempted to scold her, but the smug look on her face told you that your words meant nothing. 

“What? He said he'd take care of everything, and that includes paying the bill. I'm just ensuring that he keeps his word, that's all.” Nami barely even glances at you before opening it up and counting the money. Based on the way her face contorts, you're guessing that it isn't as much as she was hoping for. 

Luffy didn't appear to be even slightly concerned about that. He was happily licking the plates clean. Including yours, which was a little weird, but whatever. Not gonna ruin your day. 

When you hear the door to the tavern open again, you don't think much of it. It's not until some little kids storm up to your table wielding wooden toy swords that you decide to pay attention. It dawns on you that these are the same kids you scared away earlier at the beach.

“W-What did you do with our captain?!” The boy with green hair asks the question as if he is already assuming the worst. All of the kids are shaking like chihuahuas while trying to act tough. 

“Man, I'm full! That was some really good meat!” Luffy flopped against your shoulder heavily, having apparently finally satiated his massive appetite. The boys stared at him in abject horror.

“Your captain?” Zoro's once neutral face curled up into a surprisingly sinister grin. He leaned forward, making the children almost trip over each other to back away. “We ate him.”

The children grew deathly pale, screamed, then promptly fainted into a heap on the floor. 

“Zoro!” You kept switching between looking at the incapacitated children and the swordsman. “Why would you say that?!” 

All that he does is chuckle, looking awfully proud of himself for terrorizing some little kids. Luffy is laughing loudly at the whole spectacle, and Nami is staring at both of them incredulously but also not doing anything about it. You huff and climb over Luffy to check on the boys. While they do look horrified, even in their unconscious state, they appear to be fine physically speaking. You glare at Zoro, “That was mean.”

Your attempt at scolding is once again entirely ineffective. He waves his hand dismissively and downs the rest of his pint, “It was just a joke. If they want to be pirates then they should be able to handle it.”

“They’re little kids. They probably want to be something different every week.” There will definitely be a change next week after having a run in with what they believe to be cannibalistic pirates. You crouch down beside them, shaking one of them gently in hopes of waking him up. He starts to stir and cracks open his eyes behind his glasses. He blinks a couple of times, then focuses on you. For a moment, he stares at you dully. Then his eyes snap open wide and he yelps as he scrambles backwards.

“Calm down! I’m not going to hurt you,” you hold up your hands like you’re dealing with a scared animal.

This does nothing to quell his fears. He tries to get to his feet quickly, and you don’t have a chance to warn him before he cracks his head on the table he clearly didn’t realize he was under. Once again, he falls to the floor unconscious.

“Oh, shit!” You curse and scramble over to him, wanting to check and make sure he isn’t now suffering the same kind of brain damage you’ve got. You lift him up to get a better look at his head, when you hear dramatic gasps.

“She’s got Tamanegi! They’re going to eat him next!” The other boys have woken up and are back to hysterics.

“NO! No one is getting eaten!” You glare at your crew that is doing nothing to help and is instead laughing at the absurdity of the situation. “Would one of you help me here?!”

Zoro laughs loudly at your demand, “No, it looks like you’ve got it covered.”

You can’t believe these are the people you’re stuck with.

You’ll never know until your caught; He reels you in with his smile, his playfulness, his curiosity. All of his jokes make you laugh! He’s so kind and nice to you. He’s always thinking about you! He shows you every little thing he picks up and stuff from his adventures! Speaking of which you should come with him! Life at sea is great! Plus there’s no telling whether he’ll ever come back to this island again. So join his crew! You don’t need to feel like you have to contribute anything! Just do what you can and you’ll be a true straw hat! He gives you a few days to think it over and like every member before you, you fall for his romanticized version of the sea and set sail as the newest member of the straw hats.

“Gotcha~ ;P”

He’s got you right where he wants you; You’ll soon see the dangers of the sea a month into the vogue. Sea kings, other pirates, marines, scurvy. Almost every day you’re fighting for your right to breath! A bounty on your head for just being spotted with the straw hats. You’re in over your head! You’re not much of a fighter! You’re going to die if you stay here any longer! You’ve got to get out of here! You take it up with Luffy and he simply crosses his arms and smiles at you. “Leave? If it’s what you want, I won’t stop you! We’ll be at the next island in three days. It was a pleasure being your captain and I’ll never forget you.” He gives you a hearty smile as a send off. You’re relieved he’s being so nice about it.

He knows you can’t leave, well alive that is; marines flooded the next island. They got an anonymous tip that the straw hats would be porting in the next week and jumped at the opportunity. You’re captured and almost executed if it wasn’t for Luffy saving you at the last moment. Your traumatized, hugging onto his red vest and crying into his chest. So much fire, so much gun shots, so much blood shed… Luffy simply rubs the back of your head and smiles. “Don’t worry bout it… with me here no one will harm you.” You cry even louder and won’t let go of him for the world. How could you ever think about leaving him?

He knows your weak and uses that to his advantage; “Stick by me okay? I don’t want you to get hurt.” You nod, taking his hand easily. The fear of what if lurks down the corner and fills your body. Ever since you were captured you don’t feel safe without Luffy around. The rest of the crew try to get you to feel more comfortable but nothing works. When Zoro suggests you train with him to hold your own, Luffy just glares at his green haired friend and talks to him behind closed doors. “I don’t want her to get hurt. Don’t worry about her I’ll be here to protect her.” Or when Usopp offers to build you a weapon, Luffy shuts him down as well. The crew is beyond confused on why Luffy’s apposed to this… but he is the captain so what can you do? The crew watches on in concern as you grip Luffy tightly and the male laughs and teases you about how he’ll always be there for you.

Expect when he’s not. It’s not a coincidence or mistake. He planned this; “L-Luffy!? L-Luffy!” Your voice strained out as you walk around the ship looking for him. Did he fall in the water?! Did we leave him at the last island?! Did he leave you?! Your panicking and hyperventilating as you can’t find Luffy anywhere. The crew tries to reassure you that he’s alright but you curl up into a ball and begin to sob in despair. You don’t feel safe anymore without him near. He’s missing for around three days until he randomly appears like nothing happened to him. “Yeah I fell asleep on lookout duty, that last fight messed me up more then I thought! I was right there in the tower!” He makes up a silly story. You’re squeezing him tightly, crying and yelling about how you’ll never let him go. And all he could do is smile and hug you back. He’ll never let you go.

He can’t control himself when others talk about his behavior or you; They’re not blind. You’re attached to Luffy 24/7 and it’s not healthy. They think he doesn’t understand you’re not well, that he just thinks you want to play or cuddle with him all the time, but he’s well aware of you not being well. “Yeah so what? If it’s what she wants, what’s the problem?” “Luffy she won’t even eat if you’re not present! She can’t function without you around! We tried to get her to go get treated with Chopper but she won’t leave without you!” Nami tried to reason with her captain, she couldn’t go on any longer watching her friend turn into a husk of herself. Luffy’s eyes glare at Nami holding your hand close to his face. “There’s no need for Chopper to treat her. I like her this way~” He said with a sharp smirk the crew had never seen before. Just what’s gotten into him?

You slowly become Luffy’s lap dog, never seen a second away from him, always by his side; Hey at least it’s fun. He’s not as heartless as some others. You can drink, laugh, party, dance, you can do whatever you want as long as you’re next to him. It’s like the two of you are attached by the hip and it’s honestly creepy for the crew to witness. He’s always playing with you, tickling you, telling you stories and jokes. There isn’t a second you two are separated and it’s jarring whenever you two are. You seem hollow and distant without Luffy near and Luffy’s… off. There’s something about him that changes when you’re not around but no one can put a finger on it.

He didn’t think he’d ever hurt one of his crew… until; That pesky little Robin stuck her nose into a place where it didn’t belong. The captain’s quarters. The first thing that set her off were the walls, they were covered in crude drawings of you and Luffy. And tons of your wanted posters scattered the walls as well. Her mouth hung open in disbelief, her instincts telling her to leave but she couldn’t help but look through more. On his desk was a diary of some sorts, and plastered through the pages were just your name written down over and over again, frantic heart doodles, scribbles and ramblings of a mad man going on and on about you. It then clicked in her mind, No one had actually entered the captain’s room since you joined the crew… and as she turned around to finally leave she felt nothing but a rubbery punch to her stomach sending her flying back into the wall. “I thought I told everyone… the captain’s room is off limits.”

Then he flat out tells everyone, without sugarcoating it; “Y/N’s mine! I was the one who called in and told the marines about us docking so Y/N can get captured! Oh yeah and I did a bunch of other things to her too :p . I made her this way and we’re both happy about it!… if anyone else ISN’T happy about it, well. We’re pretty far out in the water. I dunno if anyone will find your body~!” Luffy let’s out one of his contagious laughs but nothing is funny. The crew is staring at him in horror. Robin clutches her broken ribs with wide, teary, eyes. Everyone had their mouth agape, in utter shock. They all knew something was wrong but never in a million years would they have thought Luffy was capable of doing this. To someone he claimed to love. You heard his words but didn’t react. You didn’t care anymore, Luffy knew best. You hugged him closely, putting your head into his chest, accepting your fate. “See? She likes it! Now anyone opposed to this?”

Well of course everyone’s opposed to it; But��� what can you do… It’s Luffy. His power is too great, he’s nothing less then a god. Any attempts to help you escape or fight him off are shot down in seconds. Luffy has no remorse when he’s beating Sanji’s body blue because he thought it would be a good idea to try and help you sneak away on an island they were docked in. “Sanji… you’re a really good cook, and I don’ wanna loose you but if you want to come between us I’ll have no choice. So will you be nice and stop trying to take her away from me? :D?!” He asks him with a large smile, despite the blood running down his knuckles and the blonde underneath him that was slowly drifting in and out of consciousness.

The crew suddenly start getting injuries. Robin’s ribs, Nami’s throat, Usopp’s arm, Sanji’s leg, Chopper’s antlers, Zoro’s ear, Franky’s backside. Every pirate crew they come across is confused to see why the great straw hats are injuried so badly, all expect you of course. No longer do they smile in the face of their captain, instead they shake with fear. They soon stop trying to escape and fight, instead they all give in and comply with their captain’s orders.

So join his pirate crew, come live at sea with him! It’ll be fun! And once he haves you, he’ll never let you go~

Roronoa Zoro has always been indifferent to many things and people and one of those people was you, at first. When you joined the Straw Hat, he didn't think much, he just accepted you as a member of the crew and thought that his life would continue as it had always been before you. Needless to say, he was wrong.

He warmed to you slowly and gradually, in a way so subtle that even he hadn't noticed. Like sitting next to you to drink, looking at you subtly and helping you with common Going Merry tasks. All these activities became commonplace and he found himself yearning more and more for more time by your side.

The way he became uncomfortable and irritated when another Mugiwara spent too much time by your side, time that he should have spent. His gaze hardened and his grip on his swords became stronger.

Zoro had never felt like this before, this need for protection, the desire to protect what was his. He never felt this way about anyone else. He loves his friends deeply, but he didn't feel the same connection with them that he felt with you. You were more special, he just didn't know why.

He wanted to stay by your side, protect you. It was a need, an instinct that threatened to consume him from the inside out if Zoro didn't do it. You became his friend, his duty and his obsession.

Zoro is always on the lookout, watching you carefully, protecting you from a distance. He has his eye on anyone who breathes too close to you. They can be a threat, hurt you and he would rather be cursed than let that happen to you. And even with his own friends, his own Captain, he was watching.

He defends your honor fiercely and proudly, anyone who dares to say a bad thing about you will have a bad time with him. You're his, there's no way Zoro would let someone talk bad about you and get away with it. He will get into fights to the death if necessary.

You're the only one who really knows Zoro's soft side, so to speak. He comes across as serious and abrasive, often grumpy, even with his crew, but with you he's almost always smiling. He often says that your presence makes him happy when someone questions him and usually curses the person for being so nosy.

He loves you more than he loves sake and that means he really cares about you. Even if you don't like drinking alcohol, Zoro will be drinking next to you, just enjoying your company. He likes to sleep next to you too, even if it's in an innocent way. He feels more comfortable this way.

Zoro is extremely possessive of you and doesn't feel guilty about it. You are his, from his crew, so you must stay away from the others. He will never blame you for something, it's others who are to blame and Zoro is more than willing to cut them to pieces if someone crosses you, if they cross him. He will give you that person's head as a gift later.

It's not uncommon for him to be jealous, but he will never admit it. The deadly looks that are thrown when someone approaches you, the grip on the sword and eventually that person's head rolling can give some clue as to how jealous he is.

Zoro is very overprotective and this combined with his possessiveness means that you have no privacy around him. Although he's not the biggest fan of physical contact, he has no problem holding your hand or even hugging you. He loves his friends, he loves his crew but if he had to choose between you and them, Zoro would choose you without thinking twice. He would sacrifice them if you asked.

He is a pirate, a pirate hunter who has become one of the most wanted pirates in the world. Zoro has important connections and he knows how to fight very well, after all, he wants to become the greatest swordsman in the world. He knows how to get rid of the mess he's made, how to get rid of someone.

Roronoa Zoro is your protector, your friend and your obsessed stalker. Every time you arrive at a new island, he doesn't leave your side and observes the surroundings attentively, while keeping you tied to him. He can't let anything happen to you and that's why he's so overprotective. He won't lose someone he cares about, not again. He's not that bad, just be careful with other people around him and everything will be fine.

Spending time with Yandere Strawhats x Black Fem reader

AN: Hello and welcome new readers, this is slightly a part three to my Isekai series and as I publish this I am thinking about creating separate fics for each of the characters below. If you want to be on a tag list I’ll add you 🫶🏽🫵🏽

Luffy was the main source of light for your adventure. You hung out with him mostly in the middle of the day when the sun was at its peak. Other times it’s at the end of the day just before Sanji calls you in for the last meal. Those are your favorites, words don’t need to be spoken when you and Luffy are sitting on the head of the Sunny. At least not the words either of you want to hear at the moment. So you both sit in silence enjoying the false sense of bliss.

Luffy sits next to you in all meals, since you’re the favorite, he wouldn’t dare steal food from you.. most of the time of course. The first mate will always be to the other side of you as well neither taking their gaze off of you as if you were nothing but prey.

When you’re all on islands only few are assigned to take care of you and watch you. Nami, Robin, Zoro, Sanji and Jimbei, the rest couldn’t be trusted to not fall for you in their naivety.

When you were able to go adventure with Luffy you had more of a chance to escape when he was distracted by surroundings. However that didn’t last long, it was as if he had eyes on the back of his head. He would know exactly where you were hiding no matter what.

You got better at hiding behind a fake smile the more you hung out with Luffy. It was never a pretty sight with any of the crew when you angered them by mentioning your “ home”

Luffy would usually ignore you when you’d talk about home, he didn’t care about the past he just wanted to enjoy the present with all his friends. But those times you got under his skin he made your life a living hell.

Zoro wasn’t one to really welcome most with open arms especially with the way you ended up with the crew.

Zoro was one who put you in edge the most because even having one eye shut the man’s gaze makes one fully understand that if he wanted to he would end your life.

However that barley lasted a full week, after he found out you both had a love for drinking he made it a mission to get under your skin in the best ways he could. Always checking up on you, rescuing you when you’re in danger, wanting to play drinking games after dinner, and napping on the deck with him on warm days.

On new islands you would go pair off with Zoro, in order to fall into the shadows and disappear from the strawhat crew forever. However, Zoro was resilient, he always held your hand and never took that menacing eye away for more than a second.

You’ve tried to reason with him once when you both were drunk off your asses in the aquarium. “ I want to ask you something.. Zoro” with a heavy sigh he turned to face you from his spot on the floor. “ Why do you like to bother me when we are like this? You’re gonna ruin a good time”

His gaze was so intense making you gulp and turn away while his eye burned into your skull. It’s very unfortunate that this man is so attractive. “ I know it’s a lot to ask but-” “ Then don’t ask me I don’t have an answer to satisfy you y/n” you could tell when he was really inebriated, his hard exterior was down and he spoke to you with such a soft voice.

You and Nami spent most of your time together in her office. You liked to write and paint and she had tons of paper and ink.

Tanning on the Sunny was an essential it felt like you had a real girlfriend, you did your spa days together and talked about anything to come to mind. Sharing baths always made you blush since she would take the time to pamper you and scrub your scalp when it was wash day.

Nami had always been a great actor, that’s how she was able to survive those many years alone and ostracized from her family and friends. Bringing up home around her means waterworks.

It also means being punished by the whole crew because she told everyone you were thinking of an escape.

She loved taking you shopping, you were her little doll she wanted to dress up and take care of. She didn’t want to loose anyone else close to her which is exactly why she would go as far as getting you punished for a few days in order to make sure you can stay with her forever.

Ussop was the one you could relate to the most. You both were very similar in terms of being considered the weakest onboard and among other things.

Spending time with Ussop meant sometimes spending time with Chopper and Luffy playing games and pranks on crew members.

You learned about his garden and eventually started helping him take care of that. He spoke in depth about what he learned over the last two years and how his new seeds worked.

He turned you into a little inventor, bringing you under his wing and you were willing to learn anything and everything. You almost felt bad knowing the real reason you wanted to learn from him.

Sanji was enamored with you to the fullest extent. He is usually head over heels for anything that walks his way with boobs but you, you sparked something in him.

Spending time with Sanji meant you didn’t have to lift a finger because he waited on you hand and foot.

Sanji loved to have you perched on his side when he was cooking so you can taste everything and stroke his ego. He was such a charmer and you both got along so well since it was obvious you both had a soft spot for one another.

One islands like water seven you would pair off with him and go and explore the city and help him buy groceries. This is one of the main reasons out of all the Yandere Strawhats Sanji is the most obsessed. To him, those times were dates and godforbid something happened to you or you decided to leave him he would spiral.

When you used to talk about going home or one of the other crew members would tell him about things you been doing ( escape attempts ) he would get so angry his eyebrow going from left to right. This would cause Zoro and him to fight more often due to him wanting to take his anger out on anything.

Robin was the main one to keep you on your toes. Her eyes always let you know when to stop talking.

Spending time with Robin meant you were able to read a variety of books and inhaling knowledge just as she does. When you looked at books that resembles your situation she was always over your shoulder or had an eye pop up somewhere on your body.

“ Interesting book there y/n would you let me read it when your done?” Her smile never fully reached her eyes on most occasions which always left you drenched in a cold sweat because you knew.

You knew that escaping with someone like Robin on the crew was more than difficult, but you pushed that past you when you hung out. Sanji would bring tea and treats to the library and there would be soft music playing in the background.

Robin was serenity when you ignored the silent threats.

Spending time with the whole crew was usually meal times or when you had important business on an island.

Everyone bounced off each others conversations they truly stuck together like glue which is the main reason you’ve been with them so long.

No matter what the conversations always gravitated towards you. Each sharing their stories of time you spent together or future plans they had with you. Some of which you hadn’t even agreed to ( yet ).

It is hard to escape from a crew that you already ran away from once, they’d be damned if they let it happen twice.

How do you think Sanji would react to reader fasting?

Honestly, hard to say lol! Very intriguing though! I feel like it would honestly depend on the reason they’re fasting, as long as they’re doing it in a healthy way, and they promise to eat when it’s time then he’ll be okay with it! but here’s a little something that I wrote for it 💗

Tapping your fingers nervously on the side of the decks railing you sighed, recently you had started fasting. What was there to be worried about?..the whole crew was very much understanding and it shouldn’t really be that much of a problem at all right?..

Yeahh maybe not..

The only problem was Sanji, the cook of the crew.

Usually with anything else he would be fine with it, Sanji is a very easy going and chill person most of the time, but when it comes to his cooking..and you?..

You didn’t want to upset him at all, his food was absolutely delicious and it’s not like you were doing it out of spite or anything..so why on earth do you feel so anxious?

Well, how bad can it really go? Today is a chill day, despite all the crazy adventures you all go on, you were at sea and not heading anywhere for a while. You definitely had a few hours until the crew usually ate dinner-

“Y/N! Hurry up! Didn’t you hear me yelling dinner was ready? Sanji even made your favorite!”

You jumped slightly, why you?…

Standing behind you was Usopp, hands on his hips and a thick eyebrow raised. He knew about your fasting since you trusted him quite a bit. You glanced away, looking at the beautiful sunset before to try to avoid his stare.

“Uh..well..”

“Wait..don’t tell me you haven’t told him yet?..!”

He said, blinking and speaking in an almost incredulous tone. You e been fasting for about..a month now..he was honestly impressed at how you kept it so hidden.

“I just..haven’t got to it yet okay?!”

You said with a sigh, glancing at him and turning back towards him, leaning against the railing with pursed lips almost.

“Like I said earlier, I don’t think he’ll understand maybe!”

You said, another sigh escaping your lips. Like it was contagious, Usopp let out one as well, a half smile displaying on his lips.

“Oh please..everyone knows you’re practically his favorite..you’ll be fine.”

He said, waving a dismissive hand at you. Looking up at him from under your eyelashes you decided, it was time..he did have a point after all..

As you and the Sniper of the crew approached the dining hall, your thoughts were a bit..cluttered. At the same time you knew you weren’t to be so nervous, why should you be? But you just didn’t know how this was going to play out..you were positive Sanji had never been confronted with his whole life!

The sound of laughing and chatter soon filled the room you were in as you saw everyone eating happily, not a care in the world for them it seemed. Plates being sat on the table, glass clinking together was also heard. Your eyes slowly wondered around the room for your cook with the curly eyebrow.

And then, you spotted him.

He was standing by the sink, finding up something that was covered by the counter walls. Usopp gave you a wink fur good luck and went to go join the rest of the crew, grabbing his plate.

You took a deep breath and then sighed.

Man, you were really doing that a lot today huh?

Once you were behind the sink, you approached him, giving a polite yet sweet smile.

“Hey Sanji!..”

You said softly despite the fact that you were a bit uneasy for obvious reasons..

He took a glance at you and then another, blinking a bit before you saw his eyes light up, a big grin now plastered on his face. Come to think of it, he always had that when he saw you..

“Ah, Y/N-chan~! You’re just in time..I was getting a little worried..but I have your plate right here, ready for you to eat~!”

He said in that sane high pitched tone he used with you that always made you laugh. Now that you think of it, was that what he was doing and why he was standing there? You glanced down to see your plate by his hands at the moment, all fixed up and perfectly positioned.

Your heart almost melted..he was standing here the whole time, waiting for you and guarding your plate from a certain captain with a straw hat..

“Aww, that’s very sweet of you Sanji but..that’s exactly what I came here to talk to you about..I need to tell you something..”

You said, looking over him for a minute to make sure he was paying attention. His gaze was locked on you, rather intently..

Great! Now’s your chance!

“So uh, I’ve recently decided to start fasting..it’s because {your reason}, the reason why I haven’t told you id because well, I didn’t want you to get offended..your cooking is absolutely delicious! I’ve just made this choice..so..I hope you’re okay with it..”

He paused.

You glanced at the smoke spread around him from his cigarette, his blue eyes staring into yours the whole time. He then..chuckled a bit.

He closed his eyes for a moment taking his cigarette out and blowing smoke out almost efficiently.

“Well..Y/N..i cant force you to do anything..I’d just wish you would’ve told me sooner..just promise me that you’ll continue to eat full meals..and stay on the schedule your on..okay?”

You couldn’t have smiled more.

The next day rolled around and you got up early, earlier than anyone else to eat of course. Walking to the kitchen, you opened the fridge to make you something quick yet filling.

There you saw a plate of your favorite foods, covered in plastic wrap with a note attached to it.

“For Y/N, hope you enjoy my dear! ♡”

You perk up as you heard a young man yell in the distance, the voice strangely familiar. You turn around and see the self-proclaimed future king of the pirates himself running to you, his hand holding on tight to his signature straw hat while he ran. You give him a nervous smile and your eyes widens as you realized that he was going to charge into you.

You stumble back and yelped as he tackles you to the ground, his hands pressed against your shoulders while he looked deep into your pretty eyes. His eyes were sparkling, filled with love and lust as his face grew a deep shade of red. Blush begins to dust your cheeks and you press your hands against his chest to push him away from you.

Though not even a push from both of your hands moved him. Not even slightly.

“Ah..I-I’m not interested. I’m very flattered that the captain of the straw hat pirates is inviting me, but no thank you.” You say politely

“Ah- That wasn’ a question. Ya comin’ w’me and m’crew.” He says firmly, his face quickly shifting into a more sinister expression.

Your eyes widens from his sudden change of tone and panic begin to run through your veins as you began to squirm and pull away from him. “N-No really- I-I don’t want to join-“ You say, letting out breathy gasps as you began to feel the rush of adrenaline shoot through your body. The anxiety quickly rolled in the more he stared into your eyes, this glistening eyes now growing dark and devoid of emotion.

Luffy smiles and wraps his rubber arms around you, pulling you into a tight bind while you begin to struggle and squirm in his grasp. “N-No! No! I don’t want to be a pirate!” You yell out, trying your damned hardest to break from his grasp. Luffy chuckles and throws you over his shoulder before yelling to his crew. “Oi guys! I found what I wanted! Les’ get goin!” He beams, disregarding your pleading.

Tears quickly began to spill from your eyes and you yell out in protest as you continue to beg and cry out. “Please…Please let me go…I-I don’t…want to…leave.” You whimper breathlessly, your voice breaking as you watched the villagers with shocked faces.

Your eyes looked down at the ground while your tears slid from your cheeks, making them sticky. “Well too bad! M’takin’ ya! Say bye-bye ta everyone now!” Luffy hums, carrying you down and out of the village.

You whimper out softly, broken as you were carried away from the village and onto the pirate ship of the straw hats.

“Tomorrow, you’ll be m’gal!~ We’ll go on fun adventures together!~”

“And I can call ya mine forever baby~”

I could have sworn one of the Charlotte's already had a devil fruit that turns things into candy, but I might be thinking of Pero and the awakened mochi thing...

You know, for someone that has problems blacking out and eating people, Big Mom really tends to surround herself with people who have food abilities that, should she go off the deep end, it would kinda be understandable that she eats them by mistake.

Tragic (given that it's her literal children) but understandable.

YIKES.

Charlotte folks got an advantage for sheer numbers but the Straw Hats.... well, the sheer zanny nonsense they're capable of should not be underestimated. If the Straw Hats did get away with the reader, rest assured, it would be on sight after that till the end of time. And the same thing if reversed because Luffy alone is more stubborn than anyone has any right to be with no thought in his head that some things are better left alone. And being such a (literally and physically) small crew there's a good chance they could sneak in wherever the reader is and just SNATCH them up.

This is assuming that the reader isn't going through a teen rebellion phase and ran away from home (Katakuri probably the one sent to get them back, RIP that man and his older brother responsibilities). In this case it's the Straw Hats on the defensive with a very pissed off reader screaming at their family how utterly embarrassing this is and that they're not a little kid damnit!

(Bonus points if reader is pretty short for even normal humans in a family of stupidly tall people. RIP, they'll never be seen as all grown up at this rate)

How hilarious would it be if this food devil fruit is actually like, the ability to create/grow/transform fruits? Like, the only (that I can think of) directly healthy food related ability in the Charlotte family, used almost exclusively to make desserts because of course it is. It would likely be really appreciated out at sea though to be able to grow literal (normal) fruit.
